- 0:02My wallet is sobbing. I can hear it.
- 0:04I can hear it in the hall now. It is breaking down crying.
- 0:08It turns out that Attila the arrogant soul and so he's got a
- 0:12fake hammer. Oh, a fake.
- 0:14Yeah, whoa. As I say, Dick.
- 0:17Welcome to episode 145 of the Religions podcasts.
- 0:22Happy New Year to everybody and listening and watching to this
- 0:27John Coffee here for another year of podcasting with my Co
- 0:31hosts Malcolm Kennedy. Happy New year man.
- 0:34Yeah, to you. And to you Rich as well.
- 0:37Happy. New Year, how are you?
- 0:40Happy new year, gents. My back has seized up, but other
- 0:42than that, yeah, I'm all good. Well, we we heard that you were
- 0:46doing a bit of a clear out and unboxing a lot of stuff to get
- 0:50rid of packaging and you're up in your attic so.
- 0:53Yeah, I sent you guys a video. Then I have the attic.
- 0:55It's it's an absolute style and there's so much stuff in there.
- 0:57So yeah, I decided to thin the box collection down a little bit
- 1:01to save some space, which will give me more space in the
- 1:04display room and then I can get that done properly, etcetera,
- 1:07etcetera. So I went got rid of all my
- 1:09cosmic boxes basically. So that was a lot right.
- 1:14My family's ears suffered like your guys ears do at Legions con
- 1:17every year and I'm a box and. All that.
- 1:19Go to cosmics louder than mythics because they've got the
- 1:21side packages or whatever. I do.
- 1:24As wonderful as the boxes are, I do come to the conclusion now
- 1:27that they're too big and bulky. They are for good sort of
- 1:33storing and it makes me appreciate the Mythics boxes
- 1:37more. Yeah, so while doing that, I was
- 1:40stretching in all sorts of weird directions.
- 1:42Obviously, loft ceilings don't tend to be that big.
- 1:45So you're a newer tall, Yeah. So just put my back out
- 1:48basically. It was sore after doing it and
- 1:52then yesterday just gave it the ghost.
- 1:54So yeah. So if anyone out there has a has
- 1:57a back regime programme for rich, you know, maybe new year,
- 2:01bit of stretching, bit of yoga, a bit of strength work get you
- 2:05back sorted back. See, I'm basically.
- 2:08Keen if anyone knows any good exercise programmes and will be
- 2:12in doughnuts as well. Yeah, that's the that's the jaw.
- 2:18If you have any jaw muscle problems, there's not a
- 2:20doughnut. Well, if, if you've seen the
- 2:23title of this episode or the thumbnail or whatever, you might
- 2:25be wondering what these guys come on about.
- 2:27Well, there was a post in the mythic legions cabal last
- 2:31November by a fellow called Hank Miller and he asked what are
- 2:36your, uh, unpopular opinions about legions?
- 2:41So I kind of grabbed onto that straight away and said to the
- 2:45guys, this would be a fun one to do an episode on.
- 2:48So what I've done is I've taken a load of comments from that
- 2:52post, tried to philtre out a lot of the repeat ones, anonymize
- 2:56them all because this is we don't want to get personal on
- 2:59this. This is not about you know who
- 3:00said what and who's wrong and who's right because you know,
- 3:04they are opinions and we're going to go through them and
- 3:07give our opinion on those opinions and maybe offer some
- 3:10opinions of our own and just have some fun.
- 3:13So you might recognise some of the stuff that you put in there
- 3:17and don't take offence if we completely.
- 3:21Disagree with you? It's.
- 3:22Definitely not personal. If if I call any of our
- 3:25listeners idiots or something along that line for that for the
- 3:28comment, it's nothing personal. I just.
- 3:29Yeah, don't cancel your patron if Rich says your opinion is is
- 3:32terrible or you know. They're all, they're all
- 3:36anonymized. I have no idea who said what,
- 3:38but yeah, those that let me know I'm, I'm quite madly so.
- 3:41And if and if you've put an answer to that post with like a
- 3:4425 different bullet points, I've probably just taken the first
- 3:48one because, you know, we have to have to be fair here, you
- 3:51know, can't just give the platform to one, one person, you
- 3:55know, And Speaking of Patreon, so we have a little bonus this
- 4:00year for our Patreons. All of our patrons on all the
- 4:05tiers are going to get a discount code from Calvo custom
- 4:09creations. So it's Mark Calvo, our friend
- 4:12who has an amazing website with loads of 3D parts.
- 4:16The more stuff he often has Jason Rodriguez stuff, He has
- 4:19his own sculpts, of course, and he has stuff that he's done with
- 4:23GUI on and Gianluca, bunch of amazing stuff there, uh,
- 4:28unpainted prints. Plus he does, uh, painted stuff
- 4:31as well, offers up stuff for paint there.
- 4:34Sometimes he does them in like a batch of stuff or sometimes
- 4:36it'll just be a couple of things.
- 4:38And of course he does commissions.
- 4:40So this is going to be 10% discount on, uh, on any order of
- 4:46Calvo customs creations. Umm, going to try and run this,
- 4:50I suppose for the year and see how it goes for, for us and for
- 4:53Mark. So, you know, if you're on the
- 4:55five year, uh, dollar Patreon tier with us and you make an
- 4:59order of more than $50, you're kind of winning, you know?
- 5:03Yeah. So, umm, there you go.
- 5:07So that's, uh, very cool of Mark to, uh, to offer that to us.
- 5:10And hopefully that will, uh, attract a few more people to our
- 5:13Patreon and of course, in turn attract a few more people to
- 5:16Mark and everyone is a winner out of that, including you guys
- 5:20that take advantage of the code. And I think you can also use it
- 5:25Rich so. I'm about to say, as some of the
- 5:28commissions, a lot of stuff from Mark, are we allowed to use it
- 5:30as well? I think so.
- 5:32You're on our Patreon. So.
- 5:33So yeah, Mark will will check with us and you know who's on
- 5:39the Patreon so that, you know, if you, if people start sharing
- 5:42the code around to people that aren't on the Patreon, you know,
- 5:46that isn't really cool. So always try and keep our eye
- 5:50on that to make it really an exclusive for for you guys that
- 5:53are on the Patreon. But you know, if you want to put
- 5:55in like an order of like $200 for a load of parts and you
- 6:00know, you go in with the mate that isn't on the Patreon, I
- 6:03mean, that's cool. You're ordering it for you if
- 6:05you want. What you do with the stuff
- 6:06afterwards is your own business. And you can meet the cool guy
- 6:10that's getting the the stuff are cheap, or you can take the 10%
- 6:14for yourself, you know. So thanks very much to Mark for
- 6:18that. Have a look at our Patreon, see
- 6:20what you think. And we're going to have, of
- 6:22course, bonus episodes this year.
- 6:24Again, we'll continue with the richest randoms, with more
- 6:27people, and we will come up with some other fun bonus episodes
- 6:31and stuff like that. So.
- 6:33Yeah, I'm looking. Forward to getting back in the
- 6:34richest random actually, we just need some dates out John over
- 6:36weekend and then I can. Yeah.
- 6:38Absolutely, yeah, I'm looking pretty good.
- 6:41So, you know, once you get up, I was, I was pretty sick last
- 6:46weekend. I had lost my voice.
- 6:47So I was a little bit nervous that that I wasn't going to
- 6:51record tonight. But I'm pretty much today's the
- 6:53first day I've been kind of back to, you know, 7080% and the
- 6:58voices. OK, I'd say you'd probably still
- 7:01hear a bit of it, but yeah, doing good, doing good.
- 7:07So I'm drinking the. Honey and.
- 7:09Yeah, yeah, Allison rock and tea, which is that throat and
- 7:16yeah, throat and something else and cough tea or something like
- 7:19this. Anyway, thanks again to Mark and
- 7:26absolutely, let's see how that goes.
- 7:28That should be exciting. So I know times are tough
- 7:30people, you know. A.
- 7:32Couple of people have dropped off the Patreon because of, you
- 7:37know, the way the economy is and the way everything is going and
- 7:42also some people have maybe dropped their tears.
- 7:44So would be cool if people hop on because of that or just
- 7:48because they want to see all the fun bonus episodes.
- 7:53If not, well, I don't know, just subscribe to our YouTube.
- 7:55That would be amazing and subscribe to us on whatever
- 7:58podcast player you might listen to it.
- 8:01That would be also amazing support and drop a comment and,
- 8:05you know, share our show with somebody.
- 8:07Any of those cool things are also a very valid way of
- 8:11supporting us if you without you here.
- 8:14Without tea to my own horn too much too, I'd say $5 a month
- 8:17being interviewed by me. It's pretty good deal.
- 8:19Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, I would say so, yeah.
- 8:24You know I, I face. Hundreds of pounds in their
- 8:27toys. And maybe to to square the
- 8:39circle in this we were on a couple of live streams, maybe
- 8:43since we last recorded at least one for sure new to meet new to
- 8:47mythics. We were on there, Greg's and
- 8:51Heinrich was happening in live stream in the was it a couple of
- 8:56days after Christmas? The 28th of it was yeah,
- 9:01exactly. Some of the Stefan Mahler on
- 9:03there with a bunch of other cool people from this side of the
- 9:06pond. We had Elijah and Pfizer, we had
- 9:09the 2 girls from Nerdy Ford, Annie and Michelle.
- 9:16And was there anyone else? Oh, there was a Stefan.
- 9:21Yeah. Pickle D on Instagram.
- 9:23He does Dios and stuff like that.
- 9:24He's a cool Germany. And of course, Mark Calvo.
- 9:28Yes. Yeah.
- 9:29Well, he dropped off a bit earlier.
- 9:31I had to drop off as well a little bit after Mark, but yeah.
- 9:36And so that was very fun. And we were, of course, on with
- 9:40Curtis and Jesse on shooting the chef in the run in December.
- 9:43Can't remember exactly the day and that's a while ago now, so
- 9:47go back and have a look at those.
- 9:48If you've missed them, they'd be on the live stream section of
- 9:51their YouTube videos. So I think that's everything
- 9:57with that. How was Christmas?
- 9:59Otherwise, all good, yeah. Quiet, relaxed, got had the week
- 10:06after Christmas off work which is always nice.
- 10:08Bit of a break. Oh that's cool this week which
- 10:12already trying to work out what I could do for my next holiday
- 10:15and when, but. You know, the Christmas fell
- 10:18quite, quite well for for kind of getting almost a week off and
- 10:21not taking too many days off 3 or.
- 10:25Four days and got, you know. 10 days off in a row.
- 10:28So yeah, that's always sweet and you're rich.
- 10:31You were, you were up in the valleys or I don't know, they're
- 10:33not the valleys up there. They the.
- 10:35Mountains. Be close to the mountains.
- 10:37Yeah, yeah, yeah, Christmas down here, my brother and.
- 10:39Sister in laws, that was really nice and there was up in
- 10:43Anglesey for the new year. Very.
- 10:44Good, but worked in between. So that was a bit of a downer.
- 10:47But then, you know, when you spend, you know, holiday time
- 10:50going to America and places like that, you can't really complain
- 10:52if you don't have to work. No, that's true.
- 10:55That's true. Yeah.
- 10:57I never minded working in the office over Christmas because
- 11:02usually unless the weather was horrendous, traffic was great
- 11:06obviously, and there wasn't that many people.
- 11:09And if you were very lucky, I always worked in clients with
- 11:12client stuff. So the clients might be already
- 11:14gone. So then you would just have
- 11:17reasonably light workload. So and if you didn't, if you
- 11:20worked in the job that you had to kind of do a load of stuff,
- 11:23then you had a quiet office to kind of get get through it, you
- 11:25know. But I suppose this time of the
- 11:28year it's a lot of work from home, I guess more.
- 11:30I was just more. Awkward.
- 11:32Quiet run up and then it was just Manning really absolutely
- 11:37flat out. So it's like great, OK, there we
- 11:38go. And that's continued into the
- 11:40new year, so. It's, yeah, lovely.
- 11:43Very good. Yeah, I had a very quiet,
- 11:45chilled one as well, so I enjoyed that and kind of was a
- 11:48shock to the system. To have to start getting up
- 11:50early again again this week at 6:00 alone on Monday was tough,
- 11:58yeah, especially as I was sick as well.
- 12:02And finally, any New Year's resolutions to bring in?
- 12:07No, we're too old for that stuff.
- 12:10I never do them because I'll either keep something because I
- 12:13want to do it or I won't get into it when I make the
- 12:16resolution. Makes no difference at all.
- 12:18I'm going to do the the dry January.
- 12:20I don't know why. Maybe it's just to to make sure
- 12:23I'm not an alcoholic. I have one my, one of my very
- 12:31good friends, one of my best friend from when I was growing
- 12:33up in Ireland, he did the dry January in the year before the
- 12:38year that COVID started. And then it went so well.
- 12:41He said I'll do February as well.
- 12:43And then he was into March and then COVID hit, all the pubs
- 12:46closed. He didn't see the inside of a
- 12:51pub again. And this is in Ireland, you
- 12:53know, it's very common to go go to the pub, you know, maybe on
- 12:56the Saturday or, you know, even if you're our age, you'd go out
- 13:00maybe every 2-3 weeks at least minimum.
- 13:03Yeah. And you didn't see the inside of
- 13:06the pub, I suppose until June maybe that year.
- 13:09That was, that's a tough one. But, you know, probably very
- 13:13healthy for him. So good on him.
- 13:16Right. Very quickly, couple of little
- 13:19bits to catch up on. The RPG Kickstarter is coming
- 13:23soon, and we got a little tease of this guy's a render of an
- 13:28elf. What do they say?
- 13:31Teeth. A rogue elf.
- 13:33So what are we thinking on this mouth?
- 13:36This. This is your cup of tea, is it?
- 13:37Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I'm not the
- 13:39biggest elf fan generally, but I like, I prefer the owls when
- 13:44they've given them this sort of build a bit a bit, you know,
- 13:48thicker. Yeah.
- 13:49And the armour looks great. It's.
- 13:51And then like you say, the sort of the red, the rogue, the thief
- 13:54is easy. I love that sort of archetype of
- 13:57character for sure. Well, ticker here.
- 13:59I know it's a render, but there's something with the neck
- 14:02that's not going to be in the final figure here because that's
- 14:06like a 20 inch neck on on. The left and work he's.
- 14:10Been working out with his stealing.
- 14:12It has to be safe. Yeah, he joined the gym in
- 14:14January. Yeah, I assume, yeah, that'll be
- 14:19slimmed down and that'll be something else there.
- 14:22But the head is cool and looks like a classic DND type
- 14:28character, isn't it really? This is the from the comments
- 14:34I've been seeing and then I had to look myself.
- 14:37This is the Scapular and the new Scapular 2 torso piece.
- 14:42And then I think the other parts we're familiar with and we'll
- 14:46see the rest of the figure when when that's announced.
- 14:48But that's coming at the end of February, I believe.
- 14:54And that this will be on display sooner than that though, January
- 14:5815 to 18 at the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo.
- 15:04So we'll see that online, but people in Philadelphia area be
- 15:08able to go along to that. So that's a role-playing
- 15:13Kickstarter that's going to be fun when it launches in in
- 15:18February and we're definitely going to be doing a lot of
- 15:20talking about that. So get prepared.
- 15:23You excited about this Rich the the the game?
- 15:26I'm excited about the figures, full size races that may come
- 15:29with it. Games not for me.
- 15:30Games. Not so me.
- 15:32And you'll be talking about the game.
- 15:33Well, yeah. Yeah, I'll do it wrong.
- 15:34If someone gets it I'm out to play, then absolutely they'll be
- 15:38all over, right? So it wouldn't be the main
- 15:40driver for for support that gotcha.
- 15:43That's fair enough and right. And then shall we get into the
- 15:48opinions? Well, oh, no, we there's, yes,
- 15:53let's do it. Yeah, yeah.
- 15:54Well, my first opinion is there's going to be revealed
- 15:58this week. It'll already be revealed by the
- 16:00time this episode comes out. So we can't and we don't know
- 16:05the info, so we can't say too much more other than what's
- 16:07already been publicly revealed. But cosmic legions character
- 16:12packs. So second, one of those, a
- 16:15little bit underwhelming. Now he knows there's a lot of
- 16:17stuff probably coming this year and I'll probably look stupid in
- 16:19a couple of weeks, months time after saying this, but we
- 16:23haven't had a full cosmic wave in well over a year.
- 16:26I know you've had two character packs waves and it seems to be
- 16:30for clearing inventory etcetera, etcetera.
- 16:33But then they're pre-orders as well, which OK, I know they
- 16:36don't want to maybe over produce these either, but maybe under
- 16:40produce them and just get rid of your inventory and make them
- 16:43really exclusive. That's my feeling on these, even
- 16:47if they're cool, I mean they. Look cool, but you think it
- 16:52looks. Great.
- 16:53And the robot 1 looks or the mask 1 looks good sort of thing.
- 16:56But yeah, I think I like you as I was a little disappointed and
- 17:01that's what that's what it turned out is going to be.
- 17:04Yeah, yeah, I mean, again, yeah. I really, really like the idea
- 17:08of character packs. And as you say, the things that
- 17:11we've seen look really cool and, and really good and perhaps
- 17:15slightly better than the previous character packs
- 17:17realistically, because they're, you know, new sculpts.
- 17:21But. Yeah, I don't know.
- 17:22Oh yeah, this a lot of other potentially much more exciting
- 17:28things to come this year. And yeah, so it feels like a bit
- 17:31of a slow start, let's say, but. We'd see there'd be up for
- 17:35pre-order I think. Is it the day that we released
- 17:38this on the 9th of January? Friday.
- 17:41Yeah, so. Have a look at them and see what
- 17:44you think it's. A tricky thing.
- 17:46So because obviously they're dropping it, they've already
- 17:48said that the next infinite legions is coming is pre
- 17:53ordering this month somebody not be the end of this month and the
- 17:56game is net the RPG is next month so that you know they've
- 17:59got to fit this in somewhere. Yeah, or.
- 18:02The nor not do it. But if?
- 18:06It's for the purpose of clearing inventory.
- 18:08I do understand but then how much inventory will it clear if
- 18:14they're doing as a pre-order? Like, I still haven't got my
- 18:17initial head packs because I ordered them from a retailer
- 18:20along with a few other things that I thought would be arriving
- 18:23at the same time, and they're still, yeah, I still won't get
- 18:30them for another couple of weeks.
- 18:31So yeah. It's a funny 1.
- 18:35Funny 1 not for us maybe maybe that's thing we can say right
- 18:41opinions before we. Start then I just apologise.
- 18:44You see me turning my head a lot during this thing.
- 18:46I'm getting backed by a cat at the moment.
- 18:48That's OK. Yeah.
- 18:50You play with your pussy in. My head a lot because I'm
- 18:53watching a united team which is already one nil down and how do?
- 18:56You expect people to be interested in our podcast if we
- 18:59were just not paying attention to it?
- 19:01Yeah. I expect hot takes here.
- 19:04I expect hot takes you'll. Get hot takes.
- 19:07I've been looking forward to this one since that post in
- 19:09November, but because we had so many other things to talk about
- 19:13and I kind of knew we could keep it for as long as we wanted.
- 19:17Because. It would slot into a week like
- 19:19this when I'll read them out and then whoever wants to just chip
- 19:28in and if one of you don't chip in, I'll maybe chip in straight
- 19:31away. So first one.
- 19:33That's an excuse for us to say quietly the whole episode.
- 19:37That yeah, there'll be words had if that happens.
- 19:41Not everyone needs a grumpy slash angry face cub.
- 19:44Give us some smiles, laughing space faces and other
- 19:48expressions. So I mean.
- 19:52Nice idea, but. Yeah, I I can see why somebody
- 19:58would ask for it, but smiles and laughing faces, you don't be
- 20:01able to reuse those scopes as much because there's only so
- 20:04many times that is going to be laughing in their head off about
- 20:07something. So I can see what.
- 20:08I absolutely see why they don't go down that route.
- 20:12Like a smirking face cooked is really cool on a 3D part because
- 20:16you have it for a specific thing in mind.
- 20:18It's maybe you know, a very limited thing and not mass
- 20:23produced and you know, it would be perfect for the type of
- 20:26character you want to make. But in general, I think for
- 20:29factory produced of neutral or maybe battle kind of fierce base
- 20:35Cubs are more generic and easier to yeah, that's fit into the
- 20:40shelf that's. What I find funny about this,
- 20:42this one is because I would suspect most people would say
- 20:46that we get too many neutral expressions and not actually a
- 20:49lot of grumpy angry. I mean, yeah, I'd only say it's
- 20:53more recently we've started to get the odd like shouting
- 20:56expression or something like that, really.
- 20:59Yeah, and that's maybe more so when the character has kind of
- 21:04been established, you know, or, but maybe for a heads pack, you
- 21:09know, a smirking heads pack, now that could be something you.
- 21:13Get crazy. Couldn't you could have a, he's
- 21:15a human, just a little piece of Lego face and they're like.
- 21:19Or you know. Here here's toilet expression
- 21:23and all this sort of stuff. You can really go for it.
- 21:27No, you had a bit too much we. Have a lot of these so let's
- 21:29move right? Removing cloth goods from
- 21:32certain figures causes a gap in the waste for me.
- 21:35This isn't an opinion. This.
- 21:38Just is truth, yeah. Yeah.
- 21:41Yeah, OK. So.
- 21:42And it's fine because those figures are designed to wear
- 21:45cloth goods, aren't they? If you want to take the clock
- 21:47goods off it, find a different figure.
- 21:50Exactly if they're not. Figures, isn't that you can use.
- 21:52They might be talking about the little gap from the the, you
- 21:56know, the torso, the ball that goes into the torso.
- 21:59Yeah, that's what I assume. But when you put a normal skirt
- 22:03piece on, that should still disappear, right?
- 22:06Yeah, that's true. Yeah, that's true.
- 22:09I think you still get a little bit of a.
- 22:10Maybe yeah, I think they've engineered it just to give a bit
- 22:14more space for the soft goods. So yeah, so maybe just in just
- 22:19need to swap. Yeah, the ball from I think this
- 22:22is for these balls are going to become very valuable.
- 22:27These are torso little adapter things.
- 22:31It will, there is one. It would have been better to
- 22:33stick to faction focused G con waves around the great beasts as
- 22:39opposed to now. They did.
- 22:42They did the one great piece and now they've gone into this year,
- 22:47which is the Dawns of Discovery. So that is a controversial and
- 22:54what do we think we know now what Dawns of Discovery is?
- 22:59So. Now you got I.
- 23:03Was going to say so I think in the last two decon waves we've
- 23:07got some of the best figures they've ever done and more
- 23:09interesting than a lot of what we were starting to get and
- 23:12getting because we've had nights up to here we've had.
- 23:16Orcs up to. Here we've had so I and OK, I
- 23:20suppose there's an argument that some of the characters they've
- 23:22put could have gone into those factions, but we also get
- 23:30different styles and outfits and and that sort of thing with the
- 23:35new characters so. I think.
- 23:38I think. It's a good idea what they're
- 23:40doing. It's a good idea.
- 23:42Yeah. I've said on the show before I I
- 23:44couldn't agree with this, disagree with this more.
- 23:47It's like it's a no. It'd be a terrible idea to stick
- 23:50to factions focused around the beasts because we've done them
- 23:54all and then it just gets stale. You need to keep reinventing,
- 23:58particularly it's one wave a year.
- 24:00You need to keep. Reinventing stuff.
- 24:01And as Mal said, you know, they're showing you armour types
- 24:05and this sort of thing. You know, you start going back
- 24:07to the army of the Odysseus, for instance, in a full wave and
- 24:10that and all of a sudden you've got five more nights and there's
- 24:14only so many night parts you can do or you know, design and that
- 24:17sort of thing. So no, totally disagree with the
- 24:21poster on this one. I think what this would have
- 24:24done was maybe given more certainty to people about what's
- 24:26coming, but. It.
- 24:28Exciting is what we have now. We don't really know.
- 24:32Plus I think we're pretty sure we're, you know, we're pretty
- 24:35sure we're going to get the great beasts as we go along in
- 24:38other various ways. And so, OK, that's uncertain
- 24:42when they'll come, but I don't think we're going to miss out on
- 24:45the great beasts. And even if you think of Celine
- 24:48and Helios would, which would have probably been part of that
- 24:52if they continued to do it like this, we'll get them as well,
- 24:56I'm sure at some point, yeah. Yeah, that.
- 25:01Rich, I'm sorry, I took one of your comments.
- 25:03No, I didn't. Legendary Verbarian isn't that
- 25:06cool? I told you whoever this.
- 25:09Was I love them I totally agree with them on this one and then
- 25:12I'll let you 2 talk nonsense about it it's.
- 25:15Going to be someone like Brett or Joe Bruce.
- 25:17So he's someone he's obsessed with, some other.
- 25:21Form. Of character.
- 25:23I am not going to say what it is, even if I can go back and.
- 25:28It's it is if you like that sort of thing, as with everything,
- 25:33you know, I would say the same thing about a bunch of the
- 25:36nights. They're not that cool like
- 25:38everyone seems to think they are.
- 25:40You know, it's so it's just what your preference is, isn't it?
- 25:43On this one, Not to sound too defensive, not much.
- 25:50But. I think the thing about the
- 25:52barbarian is it uses it is that is a barbarian you would get
- 25:59from a standard barbarian game. Previously the Barbarians were
- 26:04getting kind of had a bit of armour on them because that's
- 26:07was the part you had. Whereas actually Barbarians in
- 26:11literature don't really have a lot of armour.
- 26:14They'll have the odd little bit, but, you know, not armoured
- 26:17gauntlets, armoured legs, armoured waists.
- 26:20Yeah, you could. You could literally use
- 26:22depending on what what route they go with the RPG.
- 26:24You could use a legendary barbarian as a figure in that.
- 26:26It's perfect for that already. You know, it's like the hero
- 26:30quest game from years ago which they've redone.
- 26:32That's exactly what that barbarian looked like.
- 26:34Yeah, exactly. Which is why the people who like
- 26:36Barbarians like it so much. Look.
- 26:39It's the best barbarian in the line.
- 26:41And previously the deluxe barbarian was probably one of
- 26:45the best figures in the line. Yeah.
- 26:46And and people, like so many people said that would have been
- 26:50the figure that they maybe would have tried to introduce people
- 26:53to the line with. So it's definitely cool.
- 26:55I think the, so the Armoury Gladiators took the shine a
- 27:00little bit off the barbarian because it was more of that type
- 27:04of character, whereas the barbarian was kind of, you know,
- 27:09stood out more. Maybe, maybe that's it.
- 27:12Maybe because I got the few armouries that I wanted that I
- 27:17don't feel like I'm missing out. Plus we're going to get them
- 27:20again soon, right? Here's a longer one.
- 27:24The difference between the one point O body and the two point O
- 27:27is too vast. There needs to be a 1.5 body or
- 27:31slightly more regularly regular proportions, less muscles.
- 27:35Basically in terms of humanoid figures, good for bigger women
- 27:39and smaller men. Ideally compatible with 1.0
- 27:42figures for the lines of modularity.
- 27:45So we're talking about Navy here and VORGA in Cosmic?
- 27:50Yeah. I mean, it feels like they're
- 27:51starting to do that, doesn't it? Yeah, but.
- 27:53They're both, I mean, they're both fully one point.
- 27:55I mean, you can tell my reaction about that aside heavily when
- 27:57this one came up because I had spotted this one before.
- 28:00It's a ridiculous idea. It's like, do you expect the
- 28:03four horsemen to like go, yeah, let's have 1.251.51.75, let's
- 28:08just bankrupt ourselves making a million moles.
- 28:10So I'm going to rant, but it's it's just, you know, there's
- 28:13well, if there. Were 1.0.
- 28:14If there were 1.0 compatible, you know with the with the ports
- 28:20to to stick in the pieces then. Like.
- 28:24For a figure, it's just. That's the thing, you know.
- 28:28If you if you want a slightly thinner torso, commissioning
- 28:30someone to make a 3D parts OK. I don't think it makes sense of
- 28:35Horseman. I'm sorry I have a bit of a rant
- 28:37there. No sympathy here, let's move on.
- 28:41I want civilian characters and more and bigger diorama pieces.
- 28:46That's you meet. You have to mute me in a minute.
- 28:49You gonna have to come to legions can't and buy some
- 28:53customs and buy some dioramas the.
- 28:56Civilians, they, they seem like a fun idea, but realistically
- 29:02where, why? What?
- 29:04You know, he's like, oh, I want to I've never understood people
- 29:09wanting an action figure of a really plain thing like, you
- 29:15know, farmer, Oh, here we go. So a guy in clothes, you know,
- 29:21and, and I've never understood that.
- 29:22Diorama pieces. I really like what they do with
- 29:26the diorama pieces. I hope we do get more bigger.
- 29:30It would be its own thing, though.
- 29:32Then I think you wouldn't want that plugged into a wave.
- 29:35But yeah, that'd be quite cool. Like, you know, things like, I
- 29:38suppose say diorama pieces, but maybe a bit of a vehicle, a bit
- 29:42of a ship or something like that.
- 29:43That'd be cool. Yeah.
- 29:46I'd agree with that. I think diorama pieces are
- 29:48great, but the civilian characters, as you said, well,
- 29:50it's a good idea until you actually do it, and then nobody
- 29:53would buy them. Look, we've done the bartender
- 29:56so well, yeah, it's a guy wearing a shirt and like on
- 29:59trousers. It's like people just aren't
- 30:01going to buy it. You know, we had the tale of the
- 30:031000 swigs to try and offload the the the so many swigs they
- 30:08they had leftover. We'd have the tale of the what,
- 30:10200,000 farmers? Yeah, the.
- 30:13City of Civilians. You'd.
- 30:17Have people up and, you know, trying to, you know, trying to
- 30:21get the whole legions con floor just full of these guys do a
- 30:26display. It'd just be like, no.
- 30:28It just, it just wouldn't go. It just wouldn't buy them.
- 30:31I wish the pelvis piece was innovative.
- 30:33I also wish the werewolf came with an additional pieces ankles
- 30:38and pelvis to make a completely armorless werewolf.
- 30:44I think we get there with the second part of that.
- 30:47The. Pelvis piece being innovative, I
- 30:49don't know in what way. Can anyone think of ways that
- 30:53you could innovate? Based on what it says here is
- 30:56perhaps talking a bit about what they did with the Jersey Devil
- 30:59where they gave it a piece that made it look like, you know, you
- 31:04didn't need a belt. That's what I take that as with
- 31:06it being taught as a werewolf and from a work for the
- 31:09werewolf. I actually kind of agree.
- 31:11Yeah, I'd like us to be able to get a fully naked Legions
- 31:16werewolf. Miles leading the naked legions
- 31:21charge. Here we go.
- 31:23Actually, I don't want civilians.
- 31:24I want you little beach diorama demon wings and you know a boom
- 31:31boom hole in the front so you can plug in your Jenna Taylor of
- 31:36your but. No anomalous Well would be
- 31:39really cool down the road. I think we might get one.
- 31:41I think they might maybe do it as more like a brute scale sort
- 31:45of thing, because obviously they this isn't a werewolf and it's
- 31:47it's ogre, so it's absolutely enormous.
- 31:50So yeah, they might go on with us, but slightly slower.
- 31:53When Dad Jesus close, you know, stick that I'm.
- 31:56Kind of, no, I'm kind of trying to think, is he, is he armoured?
- 32:01No, he wears. He wears wraps though, doesn't
- 32:05he? So bothers him too armoured.
- 32:08He's. Not rude, Yeah.
- 32:11It's just that he has a waste belt.
- 32:13He relies, OK, he doesn't have the bit that the Jersey Devils
- 32:16got, which where? Is he going to put his weapons?
- 32:19Well, you got to hide the moment.
- 32:24OK, let's. Move on before this.
- 32:28Here. We go rich cosmic needs human
- 32:30characters. John, get the beat button ready.
- 32:37Don't do. This to me, no.
- 32:38Anyone listening to our show knows I abhor the idea of human
- 32:42characters and cosmic cosmetium. It's it's space, it's different,
- 32:46it's not people from Earth just going around.
- 32:49Have you? Seen Alien though the movies?
- 32:52Yeah, I've got no problem with humans in space, in the movies
- 32:56and that sort of thing. But with the new tip.
- 32:57Element. It's nice to get just get away
- 33:00from that, OK? It's.
- 33:02Yeah. So for me, keep a hashtag.
- 33:04Keep. Cosmium human free do.
- 33:07You think it would sell more though?
- 33:09Probably This is why I don't run a business selling actual
- 33:12figures, because I don't want that word.
- 33:16It's. True.
- 33:17Yeah, Yeah. This, this needs to be said.
- 33:19Yeah. We, we, we are not taking in
- 33:21commercial considerations too much here anyway, Mal human.
- 33:24And you were the the biggest cosmic fan in the Europe for
- 33:27anything. Yeah, as long as it's cosmic.
- 33:30It's more the style, isn't it? And you know, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:34yeah. Why not give them a?
- 33:35Good story, at least if they're going to, you know, they can't
- 33:38just be popping up, you know? And we need more 2.0 bodies and
- 33:44they should be shown with the same love as 1.0 bodies with the
- 33:47volume of release and volume of new and updated parts.
- 33:51And then we would have no toy line.
- 33:53This. Is just.
- 33:55Amazing me on this show, yeah. I made sure to get the ones that
- 33:59you take for sure. Yeah.
- 34:02We wouldn't have a toy line left, I think, if they went down
- 34:04that road. They have to be smart enough.
- 34:08While. Keeping the variety I.
- 34:10Often think this actually, I I actually would love to see more
- 34:152.0 parts and new parts and figures because I I don't mind
- 34:19them. I quite like them.
- 34:20But yeah, they've said themselves they don't they just
- 34:23don't sell female figures in in mythic in anything.
- 34:26They don't sell as well as I'm going.
- 34:28To say they've done studies haven't they?
- 34:29Female figures across all toy lines just don't sell any you
- 34:32know? It's not even close.
- 34:34So I can see why they do less of that.
- 34:36I mean I have to admit I've said before Vampire Night is my
- 34:38favourite figure, still is. I really do like the 2.0 vampire
- 34:42builds but at the same time the one point ones are cool and
- 34:46beefy and they could face off with the night.
- 34:48Whereas. The two point zeros might be a
- 34:50bit lesser. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of 2.0
- 34:55so I hope they don't do that, but it has its time and its
- 34:58place for the right characters. My favourite 2.0 is the goblins.
- 35:03Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that that's awesome.
- 35:07Very. Exciting about these but are
- 35:09coming up because of the arts he's got let's you know, cough
- 35:14goods basically. Yeah.
- 35:17Yeah, the boots and stuff like that.
- 35:18I was going to. Say, this is another thing,
- 35:20isn't it me go No 2.0 No. And that's about umpire night.
- 35:23And then you mentioned this baton like really?
- 35:27I think I think is it is it mainly then 2.0 that just are
- 35:32kind of normal proportioned like, you know, like a nice,
- 35:36like the two point the steel knight and the are not.
- 35:39I don't like them at all. I've been, I've been given them
- 35:42away recently. You know, if I've been doing
- 35:45trades of people or you know, thrown in if anyone's looking
- 35:48for to, you know, Steel Knight legs, I have in the past just
- 35:53giving them away for free because I'm not keeping them.
- 35:57They're 2. Of my least favourite characters
- 35:58figures in the whole line. Yeah, they just, Yeah.
- 36:02And initially I was really excited about them because they
- 36:04wanted to get them some Knights figures.
- 36:05But then when I eventually got a 1.0 night, it was like, this is
- 36:09what I was looking for. Well, now I don't need to take
- 36:12the same night and put just 40 different custom heads on it and
- 36:16call that a collection either, you know?
- 36:19Yeah. Although there's nothing wrong
- 36:20about it, people do that the. Faces of named characters should
- 36:23be unique and not repainted for other figures.
- 36:26So we're talking about Scapular being used on Sir Gerard.
- 36:31We're talking about Attila being used now on multiple characters
- 36:36like the cosmic guy, Fisher Rice.
- 36:41He's been used on He's what are the one did I see him in
- 36:45recently? Captain Holiday, Lieutenant
- 36:49Holiday, yes, yeah, OK. That's a non mythic thing so I
- 36:53can get behind that. Or you know, non mythic or
- 36:56cosmic Adamon and Atlas. Yeah, I don't know.
- 37:05I I get what they say in but oh. Trace, of course, or you know
- 37:11that head, yeah. Yeah.
- 37:13Well, that's kind of the one, isn't it?
- 37:15That kind of. Delphina as well, all over the.
- 37:17Place, Yeah. Yeah, I do get it, but.
- 37:21I do also. There is amazing things you can
- 37:23do with paint and that the horsemen have done with paint,
- 37:25you know, to make it unique. Yeah.
- 37:27Yeah. Rich, you got an opinion here
- 37:30while you wrestle with the mic I.
- 37:32Totally agree with the the commenter, but at the same time
- 37:36that's boring. Make any financial sense
- 37:38whatsoever for the horsemen to do it.
- 37:40Using parts saves money. It's why you get the cool parts
- 37:43and the figures you know have been as comparatively low priced
- 37:47compared to similar things as they have been.
- 37:49It's, you know, it's just economics.
- 37:52And to be fair, they don't do it that often.
- 37:54OK with no, I think you there. But you think about how many
- 37:57heads other than non character heads you know.
- 38:00How many heads? I think for the main, for the
- 38:02most part, you know, if it isn't another really important
- 38:05character and if it isn't maybe their main head, you know, if
- 38:09their alternative head in a female is maybe the Trace head
- 38:13or or the Delphina head, and you still have another head that can
- 38:16be the main head for that new character.
- 38:19That kind of stuff is cool, you know, so or.
- 38:23I guess another way to do it would be stop doing two
- 38:26different heads in packs and just say this is the figure,
- 38:28this is the head it comes with, and then we'll use that tooling
- 38:31budget for the second head. Yeah, on.
- 38:33Another new head rather than reusing head down the line sort
- 38:36of thing. Yeah, OK.
- 38:41When they take the face of trace or do ban and just put it.
- 38:45In. A bunch of other figures, they
- 38:46start to feel generic cheap army builders instead of beloved
- 38:50characters. So I just want to put this in
- 38:51here to show that it's it's more than a few people were were
- 38:56saying this opinion. So yeah, the ban was another
- 38:59one. Yeah, of course more parts
- 39:01should remain sacred. Gorgo Etherblade is less cool
- 39:04because so many other figures use his helmet, so it's again on
- 39:07the same theme. I don't agree.
- 39:09I don't agree with the helmets as such.
- 39:11Yeah, non non helm, sorry non character heads I don't agree
- 39:16with at all because there's so many are only so many armour
- 39:20designs, even though there are a lot of armour designs Yeah, but.
- 39:25Do you think Rich? Yeah.
- 39:26Totally agree with Malc. It's like you know there's only
- 39:29so much you can do without now. Maybe, for example, for Gorgol,
- 39:35they could give him more unique attachments to the helmet.
- 39:40Now he does have the what is it, the tree branch thingies, and he
- 39:45has the bat wings. Does he have the bat wings as
- 39:48well? I think so, yeah.
- 39:51So maybe you could make them unique and it's a smaller piece
- 39:55and you can still then get plenty of use out of the helmet.
- 39:58But yeah, I think. Gorgos.
- 40:01The colour. It's the colour that makes them
- 40:02unique, you know? Yeah, if you met a Legion
- 40:05builder, you know, in the same style, just slightly less
- 40:10colour. It's bought red and black wood.
- 40:13Yeah, that would be annoying My. Favourite helmet which I'd
- 40:17literally take in absolutely every colour under the sun and
- 40:20be happy so. Well I think the last two
- 40:23Armoury Experiences 2 have shown that people will happily buy the
- 40:26same helmets in multiple colours and they actually like and enjoy
- 40:30that. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 40:33Hand packs should have hands that are in clearly different
- 40:37positions. Now.
- 40:39This seems someone that seems to have a very specific issue with
- 40:43as maybe a particular hands pack or or something.
- 40:47I mean, it's not the way I collect mostly I think.
- 40:54They'll have some of the repeated, but that's surely
- 40:57maybe. They don't realise that the
- 40:58hinge some of them are vertical hinged and some of them are
- 41:01horizontal hinged and they look exactly the same unless until
- 41:05you see where the hinges. But I generally end up not using
- 41:10that much out of the hands packs so I can't say this bothers me
- 41:15too much. It's good to have different
- 41:17types of hands in the line and it's good to have hands that
- 41:20maybe if you have a cosmic character and you want them to
- 41:22hold the blaster properly with the with the vertical hinge, for
- 41:26example, that's great. And the same with the swords,
- 41:30you know, being able to use them a certain way and the magic user
- 41:34with the handouts, but. At the end of the day, there's
- 41:37only so many different hand positions you can have.
- 41:41Well, not according to Mezco. I would say I was going.
- 41:44To say this is somebody who wants the middle finger, yeah.
- 41:47Middle finger, but two fingers, somebody count count into 3
- 41:51counties. Like where are we going to go
- 41:53with this? It's just like.
- 41:54No middle fingers in with us, no right?
- 41:59Bald and locks are not the only hair options for black
- 42:02characters. I would agree with that 100%.
- 42:04Yeah, it just. Seems maybe unfortunate that
- 42:07that is the only her options so far.
- 42:12I mean, although was iconic in the first wave and and it was
- 42:15definitely, you know, it's it's really fantasy because it's not
- 42:19realistic for, you know, mediaeval night to have
- 42:21dreadlocks, as far as I know. You know, maybe there was, but
- 42:25they wouldn't have been as cool looking, that's for sure.
- 42:28It's one of. Those isn't it?
- 42:29There's possibly an element of concern over being culturally
- 42:33insensitive, whilst not meaning to be.
- 42:38It'd be I'd be interested to whoever, but to you know what,
- 42:41what type of her hair they want, you know what, what they're
- 42:45looking, what they're thinking. What's named Gadriel, she has
- 42:49just very short cropped hair, so that's not bald.
- 42:52So let's give them props for that one.
- 42:56But yeah, of course, hopefully the next black character they do
- 43:01has a different haircut again. That would be cool.
- 43:06The amount of avoidable slash rookie QC issues increases in
- 43:12each new wave. Anyone feel this is correct?
- 43:16This is a nonsense comment, OK? This is a comment from somebody
- 43:20that's either drinking the kool-aid to people that moan
- 43:23about legions or have had one part go wrong, probably through
- 43:26their own fault. They're trying to move something
- 43:28when it wasn't ready to move. The horsemen have said numerous
- 43:31times like the proportions of QC issues aren't increasing.
- 43:38You know, it's it's not an issue.
- 43:42Yeah, whatever. We got last.
- 43:47Mouse King No bother with things.
- 43:50Excellent. But I'm thinking armoury.
- 43:52Figures were grand, yeah. Armoury figures were excellent.
- 43:55And the OK, there was one small thing with Trivalgard with the
- 44:00wobbly neck on the head, I. Think you know the cosmic?
- 44:07The Cosmic Legions wave was perfect to the Ox crew.
- 44:10There was no common issue. I mean, I'm sure there's the odd
- 44:13issue here and there. I mean, OK, Mouse King, I
- 44:15remember one couple of people said that the big, huge piece
- 44:20does cause paint to chip off the thing.
- 44:22And I think that is true, yeah. And the swords, I suppose, were
- 44:25bent a little bit, weren't they? But then I've got one that was
- 44:29one that wasn't so. Yeah, and.
- 44:32Then these are just things that happen, yeah.
- 44:36They are, yeah. I mean, it's, you know, like
- 44:38there are some companies who remain nameless here who did the
- 44:42entire wave of figures who just fall over because the ankles
- 44:45were nonsense. You know, that that's a rookie
- 44:48QC thing. They haven't actually checked
- 44:50that at all, whereas. And who is it?
- 44:52Nacelle did the Star Trek figures now and they're having
- 44:55to do basically the whole again. Is it new heads or the whole
- 45:03figure? I think it was a whole.
- 45:05Figure, but it's the whole figure.
- 45:06Yeah, yeah, they showed. The head and it was, oh, it was
- 45:09terrible. Yeah, so.
- 45:11And the Mask, the truck from Mask, what's the name of it
- 45:15again? From Loyal, The Loyal.
- 45:18Well, I mean, if anyone's surprised, that little surgery
- 45:21thing. Is, but that's totally garbage
- 45:23as well. More for them, yeah.
- 45:24And anyone's bought Necker stuff?
- 45:26I mean, I don't buy much Necker stuff.
- 45:28I think it has got better over the years, but you know for a
- 45:30long time it was like you look at a figure on your brakes.
- 45:33Yeah, you know, let's say you know, for a line and it is
- 45:38designed to be popped and swapped.
- 45:41The. Norwegians lines, so therefore
- 45:44it does get much more rough play than others.
- 45:48You know, a lot of other lines, people just take them out gently
- 45:51put the weapon in and pop them on the shelf.
- 45:55So I think legions are going to be pushed through their price
- 45:59paces more and I think they do stand up to it pretty well.
- 46:02And we're not just being apologies because we have
- 46:03Allegiance podcast. So of course we would say that.
- 46:06No, I mean like the the syrup check and his problems were
- 46:09standing. Yeah, I've talked.
- 46:11I've always said that you could say that's maybe a rookie
- 46:14mistake. Maybe it should have been look
- 46:16at that sort of thing. But you know, that's few and far
- 46:18between. It's not like and.
- 46:19Like with syrup chasing, we're all friends with Big Greg, who's
- 46:23named after. Of course, it'd be easier just
- 46:26to say, oh, it's a great figure and you know, be nice to Greg
- 46:31when you see him, but you have to call it how it is as well.
- 46:34You know. Right, helmets and plumes should
- 46:37come with a way to plug the hole so and also plugs for the
- 46:43shoulder holes. So you know the pauldron holds
- 46:47in the in the figure that you just be able to pop a bit of
- 46:49plastic in there and mix it covered up and the helmet as
- 46:53well. Helmets would look weird, I
- 46:54think, with the plug holes. Maybe.
- 46:56Maybe there's one helmet that doesn't like the Google helmet.
- 47:00Dave Williams has a cool solution to that.
- 47:03He buys these little plugs that can get on Amazon and they fit
- 47:08the whole Yeah, perfectly. Yeah, I mean, maybe, but also
- 47:17whenever. It's never bothered me, no.
- 47:19Normally I can totally see where the person's coming from with
- 47:21this, but then it's extra pieces that you're probably going to
- 47:25lose because they're small. And then if you put that in to
- 47:28fill the hole trying to get it out, you probably likely to
- 47:30scuff the figure. Is not scuff the figure.
- 47:33It's something as a design. To be wearing generally and
- 47:36they're. On the back, and I think there
- 47:38is some figures where they have done it and like the scaly body,
- 47:45like for example on Koi you can put the fin thing in the back.
- 47:48Yeah, that covers up the holes. And there is a piece that also
- 47:51plugs in the back that goes into the pauldron holes.
- 47:54So you when you have the figure without the pauldrons, they have
- 47:58that. So I think they are doing stuff.
- 48:01And what's his name? The big orange guy Kragner,
- 48:04doesn't he have little things to go in there?
- 48:07So, you know, I think they're trying.
- 48:10I think it's more difficult with the Knights and stuff like that.
- 48:13But then the soft goods also covers a lot of the stuff, you
- 48:15know, you know, and OK, they leave the holes in soft goods
- 48:19for the Baldwins. But, and mostly with all of
- 48:22those figures, you would have to pauldron, yes.
- 48:24I mean, if they're going to change anything like that, it
- 48:26would be the the rectangular hole for the wing adapter thing
- 48:29in the yeah. That should.
- 48:31Be covered first because you know you didn't get the adapters
- 48:34anymore. They're robbing those of the
- 48:35adapters now. Now.
- 48:37When? When we get our farmer or our,
- 48:40you know, butcher figure then that might be a problem.
- 48:46More availability of female characters with variety.
- 48:50Like we kind of address the 2.0 this in the 2.0 but they don't
- 48:53sell. Yeah, right.
- 48:58Human heads look too large out of proportion compared to
- 49:01helmeted ones without pauldrons. The geometries of the head and
- 49:04the shoulders looks weird to me in one point those there should
- 49:07be more advantage taking different style of face guards
- 49:10for Knights helmets. I think we're starting to see
- 49:13this more recently, at least the use of raisable face guards.
- 49:18I mean Gideon, the first Gideon had a face guard that you could
- 49:22put up and down. So no, I don't say this doesn't.
- 49:28Maybe I'm used to it. Maybe I'm, you know, biassed
- 49:31into it now. Yeah, I think, I think, I think
- 49:34they are a tiny bit bigger than maybe, you know, normal
- 49:37realistic proportions. But it's never been an issue for
- 49:40me at all. I mean, that might be my
- 49:42collecting back, my collecting background where as long as I
- 49:45collected initially was like super deformed stuff and and
- 49:48that sort of thing where the heads were a bit bigger.
- 49:51But now for me it's they're absolutely fine.
- 49:53I don't see any problem with them at all.
- 49:54In fact, a couple of 3D companies like Uncle Jim, for
- 49:57instance, you do amazing weapons.
- 49:59They've started doing heads now, and those heads are proportioned
- 50:03much more in line with the human form, and they look ridiculously
- 50:06small, automatic. Yeah, I think they're
- 50:10proportioned well for the body I.
- 50:11Mean my favourite head in the line is one of the biggest heads
- 50:15in the line, and that's Atlas, isn't it?
- 50:17And I really, really like that head and the way it looks.
- 50:21In all my customising with third party heads, the only problems
- 50:25I've ever had is the odd head has been too small.
- 50:28Never really came across a head that was too big.
- 50:31So yeah, maybe that that data tells you something about me or
- 50:35the way the figures are built in proportioned same.
- 50:37Exactly same here, John. Yeah, Small's only ever been the
- 50:40issue. Wings fall out or start to sag.
- 50:43The plug in the plugs need to be longer and the ports deeper and
- 50:48maybe not smooth, not round. Yeah, there is.
- 50:52There is a problem with those wings.
- 50:54I can't disagree with this comment that they are right.
- 50:56Wings do struggle. Even the specs in wings, Yeah,
- 51:01no, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 51:02I tend to have them sort of down anyway, but yeah, they, yeah,
- 51:07all of the wings on every character.
- 51:10Sometimes they're spot on, sometimes they're a bit heavy
- 51:14and you know, you can't. Yeah, yeah.
- 51:17I'm sure this has been addressed by Chris on on on 4:00-ish
- 51:22o'clock or one of those. But to find it now, I don't
- 51:25know. But yeah, I think this is just a
- 51:29difficult thing to do and maybe there could be a better
- 51:33solution. I certainly can't offer it, but
- 51:36I wish they were a little bit better.
- 51:39Yeah. Totally agree.
- 51:41Which is. Why I wouldn't buy wings back
- 51:43now just because I know it won't be frustration.
- 51:48Having all the difference face face plates to be keyed
- 51:50differently defeats the entire purpose of a face plate system,
- 51:54and to say it's to preserve the sculpt is just an excuse for
- 51:58poor planning. Still love the horsemen though.
- 52:01OK, someone. Getting personal with this one.
- 52:04So this. Was actually slightly addressed
- 52:08in that some of those face plates weren't ever designed to
- 52:11be face plates. Right.
- 52:13And they didn't know themselves they were going to be face
- 52:16plates until the factory keyed them and keyed them separately,
- 52:21right? And they just went, oh, well,
- 52:23there you go. We can just keep it so it's so.
- 52:25There were supposed to be full heads, you know, the face plate
- 52:28in. Yeah, OK.
- 52:29Yeah. It was addressed on the I think
- 52:32it was the what do you call it, the pop and swap episode for.
- 52:37Horror, not horrified. It's on Jeremy's channel.
- 52:40It's also on The Four Horsemen. Yeah.
- 52:42Yeah, and it was, I'm sure it was Joe who said it.
- 52:44Joe Basavolo, you mentioned it. No.
- 52:48What? I will say is that the face
- 52:49place are not all the same size. So that also stuff like the
- 52:54skeleton face plates though. Yeah.
- 52:56I mean, that's where I think it's annoying because if you
- 52:59have a skeleton face plate, you'd love to be able to pop it
- 53:01into any face plate adapter you have for sure.
- 53:07But what do you think, Rich? Yeah.
- 53:09I agree. You know, in hindsight, do you
- 53:12want everything to absolutely fit into the same?
- 53:15Yeah, same thing, but you know, some scopes are just different.
- 53:19You know what? Miles said.
- 53:20It's good to hear that. That explains a lot of it as
- 53:22well. Yeah, fair.
- 53:24Enough I missed the old armour details on the Kickstarter
- 53:29Knight and the 2.0 knight bodies.
- 53:31I wish there was an updated version of those filigree
- 53:33instead of a shift to a more generic historically accurate
- 53:38armour, since armour was oftentimes used as in fashion as
- 53:42well as functional military equipment.
- 53:45That's probably why I like Gideon version 2 and Enoch so
- 53:47much since they have lots of armour accents.
- 53:52OK. I thought the armour was getting
- 53:54more detailed. No, for the most part.
- 53:57Maybe the odd one like the Valiant.
- 53:59Like maybe I'd. Say so.
- 54:00I mean, the original Kickstarter stuff in my mind is relatively
- 54:03plain. So yeah, I'm slightly surprised
- 54:05by this. Maybe there is more little.
- 54:07You know that little thing that goes down the front is with the
- 54:10little egg crosses. Slightly more detailed maybe
- 54:13then like a valiant knight torso but as that's maybe the
- 54:18difference between a display armour and bat armour.
- 54:21But. There you go.
- 54:22So a lot of the Knights now are getting cloth soft, good tunics,
- 54:28aren't they? Which is covering the torso.
- 54:30So there's where they're putting the detail in the tunic rather
- 54:35than on to the arm. And the arms, I think are more
- 54:38detailed. Yeah.
- 54:39And then you got, you can definitely do the pauldrons and
- 54:42yeah. Better.
- 54:44Yes. Better Tricky.
- 54:45One I mean, I don't like. I understand what the person is
- 54:48getting at. But I.
- 54:50Wouldn't say, I wouldn't say the original Kickstarter.
- 54:54Now the 2.0 female bodies, like for example the armoured one
- 55:00that comes on the Steel Knight and I think that's the one on
- 55:05Grisha for example, there's loads of detail and that you
- 55:09could be painting dots on those little things all day.
- 55:13So I imagine some of the. Hopes.
- 55:17Probably. Cost a lot in the factory to get
- 55:19painted, you know, with all the paint hits.
- 55:23So. It's tricky one.
- 55:24I mean, there's. I'm not entirely disagreeing
- 55:25with this, but I don't need it either.
- 55:30Yeah. If we get Qui on on the puppy
- 55:32talk an hour and a half on this question.
- 55:34Yeah. Christmas Carol figure obscure
- 55:38should have been a 5 pack instead of waiting once a year
- 55:41for a character. Takes up time up for other
- 55:44winter team releases. I think this is based on the
- 55:47assumption they have a load of winter team releases in their
- 55:51pocket. Also the price if they don't
- 55:54know 5 at once. You're asking someone to pay
- 55:57$300 plus for A5 pack. I mean, that's a difficult sell.
- 56:01If you have you know, you can sell lots of these things to to
- 56:04non mythic telepathism, that sort of stuff.
- 56:06So you're going to struggle to know somebody might buy a Father
- 56:08Christmas or yeah, a Jacob Marley or whatever sort of thing
- 56:12just for the fun of it. But to ask them to spend 300
- 56:15plus dollars on A5 pack is another macro entirely.
- 56:19Marley There were some parts in that because they do clearly
- 56:23think about what people will want in terms of buying things
- 56:27for parts and there were parts in that that we still haven't
- 56:30gotten in anything else. So they you know if we they
- 56:35relieves the five pack, they sell probably 15 pack to one
- 56:39person as it is they may well get their £300 from one person
- 56:44for one figure so. Yeah, like what?
- 56:50Maybe. What?
- 56:52I would say, 'cause more time waste from me is in hindsight,
- 56:55maybe release and repaints in the retailer wave.
- 57:00It's cool and all, but and it does get them to reuse the
- 57:04sculpts and you know, maybe that that's financially better from
- 57:06them. But maybe stick a Scrooge out in
- 57:08the retailer wave, Stick one of the ghosts and the retailer
- 57:11wave. Then you get there quicker if
- 57:13that's the purpose. And that's a really good idea.
- 57:17But. Again, that doesn't really save
- 57:19them money and. You know.
- 57:23It's funny because I actually really like the fact they're
- 57:25doing the the haunted. I forget what the film film is
- 57:29called, but the haunted house style very bright blue of the of
- 57:35the Christmas Carol figures, but I then also like the muted ones.
- 57:39So I quite with that one. I quite like that they're doing
- 57:41them both, but they're. Kind of because they've done 2
- 57:44now they're kind of wedded to it, Yeah.
- 57:46If they do another, they kind of have to do both, don't they?
- 57:50Or people are. Somebody's going to be left out.
- 57:54Some collector is going to be like, I don't have all the ones
- 57:58in this colour scheme. So yeah, I don't know.
- 58:02I mean, if I give the example of this episode, of course we could
- 58:05have just recorded an extra episode and stuck it out in the
- 58:07middle of a week, or we could keep it for when we have a week
- 58:13with not much to talk about. And that's what we did.
- 58:16So I guess that's a small example of, you know, you have a
- 58:21lot of, you have a bunch of stuff that you can release at
- 58:24Christmas and you kind of have to ration it out over, you know,
- 58:28you assume you're going to be doing it for the next 10
- 58:30Christmases. You know, you don't just look at
- 58:34this Christmas and what we're doing.
- 58:37You know, that's not if you're looking at the long term as a
- 58:41business, as a collector, I think we very much look at next
- 58:44figure, next figure, you know? Yeah.
- 58:45And from the cost of producing it, if you had a 5 figure pack,
- 58:48you'd get far fewer new parts. Then you will gain 5 figures
- 58:52individually. Yeah, totally.
- 58:55M scales should be two packs at nearly the same price but
- 58:58without the big dial accessories.
- 59:01I mean it's another way of looking at it I don't think.
- 59:04And bad value with the M scale. I mean I don't even need the big
- 59:07dial pieces. I know it's another hunk of
- 59:09plastic. I think the figures are awesome
- 59:12in themselves. I think the every company does
- 59:17it. The costing is spread across a
- 59:19wave of figures. That's why with marvel you'll
- 59:22get some characters with lots of accessories and lots of new
- 59:24sculpts and some with virtually nothing.
- 59:26It's how it works. It's like you know you have a
- 59:28set price for the wave and that has he's been across the
- 59:32figures. It's not as if they bring an
- 59:34entire wave of him, just nothing BIM scale and then charging you
- 59:37the same. I actually.
- 59:39It's another way of giving us diode pieces that I've already
- 59:42said I'd quite like that we get in the diode pieces as much.
- 59:45Haven't got the space at the moment.
- 59:47Put them up and put them in places.
- 59:49So I'm, yeah, I really like what they're doing with them.
- 59:51I think he's at any, you know, look at, I forget what his name
- 59:57is, the little fox guy. And he's coming with like his
- 59:59backpack as well. And and and Byler.
- 1:00:03Frost for Yeah. Byler.
- 1:00:05Yeah, he's he's perfect Little set legacies.
- 1:00:13Should have all weapon holding hands available vertical,
- 1:00:16horizontal and not just two random hands.
- 1:00:19OK or is that 2 deserve better? The fact even though it's the
- 1:00:24legions conversion, Sir Valgard was stacked with parts for $55
- 1:00:28and even the standard version has an extra set of hands.
- 1:00:32Scaffold 2 extra sets, although two extra sets.
- 1:00:36Herzog has zero extra hands. OK, someone doesn't like the
- 1:00:41fact that Herzog doesn't come with extra hands an.
- 1:00:43Orc fan. I don't disagree, I actually I
- 1:00:47like when we get loads of different hands, even if I might
- 1:00:50not use them all. I quite like to have a relaxed
- 1:00:53hand and a hand holding a weapon.
- 1:00:55Although he knows Case, he's holding the shield and the
- 1:00:58sword, I think people have to not think about sort of Valgard
- 1:01:03and what he got that was blatantly Jeff, because it was a
- 1:01:05con, not exclusive, but that particular one was a con, a
- 1:01:11treat for the con, wasn't it? Yeah.
- 1:01:13Absolutely, but. Yeah, I do think, yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:18I'd be happy with more hands, less.
- 1:01:22Hands. It's also really unusual for
- 1:01:25them not to have loads of extra hands too.
- 1:01:26So yeah, yeah, it was special because he hasn't got extra
- 1:01:30hands. He has a lot of new stuff and if
- 1:01:34you have one of those old or cans packs he'd be fine.
- 1:01:39Thanks. They didn't need to change the
- 1:01:42original crusader horse. The racist one, no.
- 1:01:47This is nonsense. Of course they needed to change
- 1:01:50this is. Trolling.
- 1:01:50Yeah, let's move on. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:53We don't need to go down that. Some of the shoulder pauldrons
- 1:01:55are so large and extravagant that they hamper arm
- 1:01:58articulation too much. Alternate and simpler pauldrons
- 1:02:02should be included in these cases, or better engineering so
- 1:02:05they both look good and play well.
- 1:02:12Yeah, well you seem to. You seem to want to reply here
- 1:02:15now. I mean, I don't care.
- 1:02:17I love the pauldrons. And I mean, I'm not, I'm not.
- 1:02:20So what, what, what do people want to do with their figures?
- 1:02:23How are they getting imposed in in people's setups?
- 1:02:26You know, like. Spider Man.
- 1:02:30But the end. I hate it when people say things
- 1:02:32like better and Oh yeah because you're an ex I mean.
- 1:02:35You can just DNA turn them up a little bit and, and I think
- 1:02:40exactly that must be one very specific pauldrons and.
- 1:02:45I don't disagree, some of the pauldrons do block a bit of
- 1:02:48movement, but again, but. Stick on the pair of pauldrons
- 1:02:53yourself and see how you got on, and then you'll see how
- 1:02:56realistic they actually are. American football pads in OK,
- 1:03:02they can do that. And you know, but I don't think.
- 1:03:05Rich. Yeah, I yes, the pauldrons are
- 1:03:11huge. Yes, they do hamper posing and
- 1:03:13that sort of stuff sometimes, but.
- 1:03:15Doesn't bother you as you put them in as you put them in.
- 1:03:19Yeah, most people don't get the figures out and put them in a
- 1:03:21different pose every day. So I can see why this person
- 1:03:24would want different stuff. I totally get it.
- 1:03:26I don't disagree necessarily. But again, in practise, most
- 1:03:29people get the figure, they put it in a pose they want, they put
- 1:03:34on display, and unless their display room is absolutely
- 1:03:37enormous, it's not going to be with the figure waving his
- 1:03:39things above his head like that sort of thing.
- 1:03:44I think I, you know, as, as very standard poses go, that's pretty
- 1:03:48badass. Cool.
- 1:03:49Yeah. Exactly.
- 1:03:50Pose that on. Don't let John say any
- 1:03:52different. That's perfect.
- 1:03:54That's perfect. He's waiting.
- 1:03:56It is. It is a Razak too.
- 1:04:00Yeah. Get a gloss or a Marvel Legend
- 1:04:02Spider Man or something you know.
- 1:04:04Then you can pose them all day. Deluxe figures with enough parts
- 1:04:09to make two different figures, but not enough to make two
- 1:04:12complete figures. Correct?
- 1:04:14Because otherwise they would charge you for two figures.
- 1:04:18I mean, that's the crux of this, isn't it?
- 1:04:19Yeah. It's like you pay $55 or $60.00,
- 1:04:22whatever it is direct from the horseman, or you pay 85 for a
- 1:04:27couple for a couple of bits of lag.
- 1:04:28It's like an annual. So many people are popping
- 1:04:31swappers, customizers, maybe traded parts.
- 1:04:34I mean, you're going to find, especially if you're in America,
- 1:04:38you're going to find people on the group.
- 1:04:40Like trading? Away parts like torsos, you know
- 1:04:44whatever you need feet you can find them for pretty cheap to
- 1:04:49make up your you know or you trade away your extras that you
- 1:04:52don't want and you make it up. So yeah the otherwise it would
- 1:04:57be a 2 pack. I think that is the purpose and
- 1:05:01they often give you the best parts.
- 1:05:02Like is it in the the one that came with Necronominus the
- 1:05:07zombie Zombie? What are they called again?
- 1:05:10Of the Undead 2 pack, Yeah. Are.
- 1:05:13The builder packs are not 2 packs fun to the trap here, but
- 1:05:16they gave you the articulated parts.
- 1:05:19They're actually all the parts the third party people are not
- 1:05:22allowed to make. Yeah.
- 1:05:23So you can know that Jeremy was behind that because basically
- 1:05:28then that's it. That is 2 figures for people
- 1:05:30that go with custom torsos and and feet and stuff like that.
- 1:05:36I. Will say it would be good if
- 1:05:38like every so often they would do a a crotch pieced pack.
- 1:05:43Pieced piece pack. It's easy for me to say and
- 1:05:48ankle peg pack and then I would be ecstatic.
- 1:05:52What are you doing with your crotch Peaches and ankle pegs?
- 1:05:55It's. Going to say figures it's crotch
- 1:05:57I. Suppose if you buy.
- 1:05:59If. You buy a third party torso.
- 1:06:01Yeah. You you couldn't have to use it.
- 1:06:03Yeah. Ankles, they you get a lot of
- 1:06:05like feet that. Don't have what you do?
- 1:06:09More and more when. When they have the really cheap
- 1:06:11legion builders, buy a few, break them all down into parts,
- 1:06:15throw them in a parts bin, and you'll never have this problem
- 1:06:18again. I know it will be an investment
- 1:06:19at the start, but that's what I kind of did.
- 1:06:24It's not. What I did is I had a bunch of,
- 1:06:26you know, these Legion builder reinforcements, those ones.
- 1:06:32That. Basically ended up being
- 1:06:34everywhere and more at retailers for years.
- 1:06:38I had a bunch of those. I had like 2 extra all in's of
- 1:06:40those so basically broke one all in down into parts and to the my
- 1:06:44past bin and I've never looked for like a torso adapter again.
- 1:06:51There's always one there. I'm presuming this person's
- 1:06:54going from the point and it's probably is around the undead
- 1:06:56builder. Then.
- 1:06:57They got it. They want to make two figures,
- 1:06:59but they don't want to spend full price on another figure.
- 1:07:02Yeah. And then use the extra bits from
- 1:07:04this. They're like, Oh, well, if they
- 1:07:05just had two figures, then it would be in the price of two
- 1:07:07figures and it would say $15 or whatever sort of thing.
- 1:07:13Articulated hinge feet is OK. Is our OK in 2025?
- 1:07:20Is this like the toe bend sort? Of yeah, no thanks.
- 1:07:24No, I'm not keen on those. To be honest, I'm not.
- 1:07:26A fan normally either. I think there are some figures
- 1:07:30that do it OK, but there's a lot that don't and it looks weird.
- 1:07:36Yeah. Maybe when it's really needed, I
- 1:07:39mean, we'll see in like some of the creatures in the future.
- 1:07:43I think there might, it might pop into the line, yeah.
- 1:07:46That would make sense. I think as as ARC and possibly
- 1:07:49GOT. I can't remember possibly.
- 1:07:52Double jointed joints go against what brought many into the line.
- 1:07:56They break up the beautiful scopes for added articulation
- 1:07:59that isn't needed. Hidden joints and posable statue
- 1:08:02looking figures is what make Mythic Legions special.
- 1:08:06So. This is Stephen Bichotti's
- 1:08:07answer. Point there not naming names.
- 1:08:12Is it? I don't know is he?
- 1:08:14He has this very much as his opinion.
- 1:08:17Yeah, it does. Sound like him.
- 1:08:19Yeah, I. Don't.
- 1:08:19I don't disagree, to be honest. Yeah, I mean, I'm not there's.
- 1:08:23Enough articulation for me. Yeah, for sure.
- 1:08:26Yeah. I'm not going to not buy things
- 1:08:27because they've got more articulated elbows and that sort
- 1:08:29of stuff. But at the same time, if they
- 1:08:31carried on just as it were, I'd be very happy with that.
- 1:08:33Yeah, I don't. Think more articulation will
- 1:08:36make me buy more because I love the look of the figures as they
- 1:08:38are. Yeah.
- 1:08:39And that compensates for any maybe slight frustrations there.
- 1:08:44From time to time if I want to do a particular pose I'm taking
- 1:08:46a picture or something like that, but I'm just popping them
- 1:08:49on my chef mostly. Never ever had a problem.
- 1:08:52It's funny, isn't it? Because the thing that probably
- 1:08:55stopped me from getting into them sooner aside from.
- 1:09:00What? You had to go through to get
- 1:09:01them and you know, it was still a bit wary of importing figures
- 1:09:05at that point. It was probably not the
- 1:09:10articulation as much, but the joints and particularly the hips
- 1:09:14and that. But the minute I got them I was
- 1:09:17in love. It was like the best figures I'd
- 1:09:19ever seen and they're still the best figures you can buy and.
- 1:09:23We're. Getting more figures with more
- 1:09:25articulation. But the horsemen are very
- 1:09:28determined. Oh, Eric.
- 1:09:29But I think the whole, all of them are very determined to only
- 1:09:34do it in a way that maintains that scope, aren't they?
- 1:09:39Yeah, I think we'll see Ogres. Should be their own race and not
- 1:09:45just bigger orcs. This one confuses me.
- 1:09:50This. Confuses me as well.
- 1:09:52Yes, OK. I thought ogres were kind of I.
- 1:09:55Presume they're basing this on the whole the well, no, there
- 1:10:01is. They said at some point that one
- 1:10:03of the buyers, I think says that there's there's a race of and
- 1:10:07that they call them a particular name and that accounts for the
- 1:10:09goblins, the orcs and the ogres. But it doesn't mean they're all
- 1:10:13the same race. They just lump, you know,
- 1:10:15stereotyping them and just lumping them all in a Great
- 1:10:18Unclean group or whatever sort of thing.
- 1:10:20Well, they're not just bigger orcs, Yeah.
- 1:10:25OK, yeah, as I said, I don't think they're orcs.
- 1:10:30I mean we did have different types of ogres, didn't me?
- 1:10:36Like the human one and stuff. Or.
- 1:10:38Like human skinned one and stuff.
- 1:10:40Yeah, we've got half a giant, we've got the cyclops.
- 1:10:42Or Caucasian scam to say I don't know if I have an unpopular
- 1:10:47opinion so much as folks just shake their head when they see
- 1:10:51how little I purchased at the con.
- 1:10:54Entitled Just buy whatever you want it might.
- 1:10:56Be your first time at the con. So, you know, I you know, I
- 1:10:59didn't buy him huge amount first legions can maybe bought more
- 1:11:03for people outside of the colon. You know that said, Oh, you're
- 1:11:07going when you get me something, you know this particular thing
- 1:11:11than I did for myself, But that changes.
- 1:11:15Oh yeah. But also well done on the
- 1:11:18discipline and if you had a great time, then it doesn't
- 1:11:22really matter how much you're lately purchased because I'd
- 1:11:24love to be able to go to legions gone purchase nothing and have
- 1:11:27the same amount of fun and I probably would, you know, have
- 1:11:31the same amount of fun. That's a big.
- 1:11:32Step though, isn't it that one? I think, I think the same as
- 1:11:35you, John is like, oh, you know, I could just buy like half a
- 1:11:36dozen painted heads and then I'll be finding it bad than
- 1:11:39else. But doing that in practise is
- 1:11:41another matter entirely. It's.
- 1:11:42A fun of seeing Rich coming with the painteds, custom or
- 1:11:46whatever. You know that and the buzz is
- 1:11:48gone, you know? The giant giant box I get into.
- 1:11:52It's like the lad that's just scored a last minute penalty for
- 1:11:55the for their football team. I do get excited.
- 1:11:58I mean, you're cutting you off there, no?
- 1:11:59It's all right, it's all right. It's different.
- 1:12:01People go for different reasons, don't they?
- 1:12:03I do think in toy community and feels like particularly in the
- 1:12:07legions community, there are people who spend a hell of a lot
- 1:12:11of money on figures. But, and, but then there's
- 1:12:16people like us who it's an opportunity for us to get them
- 1:12:19at a bit of a cheap price and, and, and more availability of
- 1:12:23figures we might not be able to get otherwise and that sort of
- 1:12:25thing. People go for all kinds of
- 1:12:27reasons. There'll be people there who
- 1:12:28don't spend any money at all, who just go for the enjoyment
- 1:12:32and I, I. Genuinely think if you if you're
- 1:12:35not behind a table and you can resist spending money, you'd
- 1:12:39probably have an amazing time. Because we just walk.
- 1:12:41Around take it all in you know you might have to run around
- 1:12:45initially to get photographs or anything before things start
- 1:12:47selling but you can just walk around take it all in and have a
- 1:12:50great time you. Know it is also the reason you
- 1:12:54do spend a good bit rich is that you are selling stuff as well.
- 1:12:58And it helps you know it and it certainly removes the guilt of
- 1:13:02maybe spending some of the stuff because you think, well, I've
- 1:13:05just, I've just sold this. I now have this money in my
- 1:13:09pocket and I'm just going to reinvest in my collection.
- 1:13:12And it's actually a 0, a $0.00 transaction.
- 1:13:16Yeah, I wouldn't have spent half one day if I wasn't selling
- 1:13:18stuff. Yeah, because that's how you
- 1:13:20bankrupt yourself. And in the first year, when we
- 1:13:23didn't have a table, you were laser focused on what you wanted
- 1:13:26and really disciplined for the most part.
- 1:13:28I was, yeah, yeah. This time it was a little more
- 1:13:31scatter gun, but yeah. A hard disagree here from me.
- 1:13:36Please no more 1.0 elves. Badrick is too big.
- 1:13:39Badrick is amazing. Sorry, he's one of my favourite
- 1:13:42figures. Oh.
- 1:13:43I've said so many times I'm not actually a fan of the skinny
- 1:13:46elves. It's it's very Lord of the
- 1:13:48Rings. And I mean, there's some cool
- 1:13:52ones I've got. Funnily enough, the the shadow
- 1:13:54elves are the best ones that look like that in my opinion.
- 1:13:59But yeah, Partrick's awesome. And this new thief we're getting
- 1:14:02looks awesome. So yeah, hard disagree too.
- 1:14:08Yeah, I can see where the person's coming from, but yeah,
- 1:14:111.0, I was pretty cool. Mythic Legions Orcs are too
- 1:14:15human. They look more like half orcs.
- 1:14:18Metsy toys Orcs scale a beautifully.
- 1:14:21Mythic legions figures which is awesome so I.
- 1:14:27Kind of see what they're saying, because I would, yeah.
- 1:14:30Again, it's more Lord of the Rings kind of orc.
- 1:14:34Or World of Warcraft kind of made me.
- 1:14:38But well, that's what the methi toys are and I actually, and
- 1:14:40they are much bigger, yeah. That's what I mean.
- 1:14:42Oh yeah, You're saying the Legions ones are more like Lord
- 1:14:45of the Rings? Yeah.
- 1:14:46Yeah, whereas I do like when it, I'm not the biggest Orc fan, but
- 1:14:50I do kind of like the Warhammer and the, you know, the the World
- 1:14:54of Warcraft sort of looking Orcs.
- 1:14:57But yeah, yeah. I think they're in a position
- 1:14:59now though, that the brute, like Thornog, you know, that's
- 1:15:04probably the size most people would want an orc, I think.
- 1:15:06Yeah, but they've done so many 1.0 size ones.
- 1:15:09You can't flip the scale completely now because it was
- 1:15:12weird. No, I'm not.
- 1:15:14Sure, I agree. I.
- 1:15:15Don't know, it's difficult, isn't it?
- 1:15:16Because actually by the in the law of again, Lord of the Rings,
- 1:15:21they're the orcs or elves, which is why they kind of look human.
- 1:15:25You know, they're corrupted elves.
- 1:15:27If I remember, brightly goblins is a corrupted elves and the
- 1:15:29orcs are more of a yeah. But yeah, I don't know.
- 1:15:33I've never thought. They don't bother me, I like
- 1:15:37them. They did remind me of Lord of
- 1:15:39the Rings more than Warcraft, but never played Warcraft or any
- 1:15:42of these fantasy games so I am not one to talk.
- 1:15:49All the people have complained that music subjects articulation
- 1:15:52just can't pose a figure and more points of articulation
- 1:15:56won't help you. OK, we've been over this.
- 1:16:00Yeah, I. Really can't come in on an
- 1:16:01article on articulation and posing.
- 1:16:03I mean, I'm in a bad place on that so.
- 1:16:05We need more wing adapters. No, we don't.
- 1:16:08So I mean, maybe if you're brand new and it's your first figure
- 1:16:11and they have wings if. People want them.
- 1:16:15I can start selling $5 a piece at nearest years Legions con,
- 1:16:18that's no problem. Here's a Here's one.
- 1:16:20The wait time on waves. It's too long.
- 1:16:25I tend to agree here. Yeah, I agree as well I'm
- 1:16:28afraid. I can totally see why it takes
- 1:16:30ages and they don't want to produce stuff in advance
- 1:16:32necessarily, but two years is too long and it's always two
- 1:16:35years now and. I know there's AI, know there's
- 1:16:38a lot of stuff now, but I would like them to be further along.
- 1:16:43And they were always saying this was to be their goal.
- 1:16:46You know, absolute ideal world. Literally at the point where
- 1:16:51they're just looking for production numbers, they're
- 1:16:53going to pre-order would be the dream.
- 1:16:57But you know, being like literally painting the prototype
- 1:17:03finished the night before, you know, the the announcement is
- 1:17:08too far out now. As long as we're down the line
- 1:17:11and that's given them two year lead times.
- 1:17:14Into the waves Ashes of AG Bendor was supposed to be one
- 1:17:18year. I know things can happen, but
- 1:17:20now it's going to be closer to two years.
- 1:17:24You know, is it even going to be over 2 years now?
- 1:17:28I mean, it was what, when it hits May, June time, it'll have
- 1:17:32been two years since it was since it's yeah, yeah, that
- 1:17:37year, 2 years. It's just too long.
- 1:17:41Yeah, you know, I mean it will. Never stop me buying me the
- 1:17:43legions but. I know because it is still like
- 1:17:47every wave is being kick started again, you know, and I know it's
- 1:17:53an expensive business. I know there's more costs in it,
- 1:17:56but it's very established line to be this long now and they do
- 1:18:01do a lot of stuff that's drops in hand like figuras and all
- 1:18:06that. Would we prefer if they just
- 1:18:08went away and pre-orders were much shorter?
- 1:18:13You know, I think. Most people probably would if it
- 1:18:16took a vote on it, but then the in drop, you know, the in stock
- 1:18:21drops and that sort of stuff off but.
- 1:18:23Yeah. You know, like the Dawns of
- 1:18:26Discovery, I was really wanting to do the all in, but then I
- 1:18:31decided not to because it's just too much money upfront.
- 1:18:33So I just got a few and I'll do the rest of the retailer.
- 1:18:37And then I'm looking at the retailer orders that I did for
- 1:18:43Rising Suns, for example, I ordered a few extra at a
- 1:18:46retailer because at that time that's what I was, you know, I
- 1:18:49didn't have enough extras. In the meantime, I've got a
- 1:18:51bunch of extras and now I have like a couple of 100 quid that I
- 1:18:55have to spend a retailer that I don't really want to and I
- 1:18:57wouldn't have ordered if that wave or no, if that wave was
- 1:19:04coming in a year ago, I would have still been happy with these
- 1:19:07extras. Now I don't need them.
- 1:19:10Now I can sell them on, you know, or I could, you know, be
- 1:19:14really scummy and go to the retailer and say I don't want
- 1:19:16to. I.
- 1:19:17Don't want them anymore, but I don't want to do that because I
- 1:19:21want to support, you know, my local retailer and you know,
- 1:19:26whatever. So that's the kind of situation
- 1:19:28where well. Realistically, if the retailer,
- 1:19:31if people are constantly cancelling their orders, the
- 1:19:33retailer stop selling, they won't.
- 1:19:35Do them for the next order. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:37So this is where it becomes tricky.
- 1:19:40So. Yeah, that's the bit I think I
- 1:19:43would agree. I it's difficult because I'd,
- 1:19:45you know, I don't ever want the quality to be affected by, by
- 1:19:52them rushing them out. But yeah, that's I don't want.
- 1:19:55It to be rushed out but but like maybe we don't and there would
- 1:19:59maybe need to be a gap where there's no pre-order for a
- 1:20:02couple of months till we get to a point where we're at We're
- 1:20:06further down the line with a couple of things I.
- 1:20:10But what you touched on there is actually spot on.
- 1:20:14It's that well I don't necessarily have the money now
- 1:20:18so I'll pre-order when I can pay later but then two years down
- 1:20:21the line I don't know if I've got the money then because what
- 1:20:24else is about? So I've the last few waves I've
- 1:20:29bought a lot less and just accepted I won't necessarily.
- 1:20:32I'll have to try if I want. I decide I want something when
- 1:20:36they're released, I'll have to try and get it, but yeah, then
- 1:20:39coincide with them saying, well we're going to produce less and
- 1:20:41make them more difficult to get a hold of.
- 1:20:43So yeah, I. Will not, I will not be pre
- 1:20:47ordering extras anymore. You know, a pre-order figures
- 1:20:50that I really want. But my.
- 1:20:54Extras now will come in when they get to in stock and I'll
- 1:20:59take my chances on it because it's just too much stuff that's
- 1:21:03on pre-order, you know? I don't know about you guys too,
- 1:21:08but if ever I speak to anyone who's not a toy collector, so
- 1:21:11work colleague or whatever sort of thing, and I say, Oh yeah,
- 1:21:14you know, I've got something or I've been in a couple of weeks
- 1:21:16time and I, you know, paid up front for it two years ago and
- 1:21:19they're like 2 years ago. And there's just, and I admitted
- 1:21:24they don't know about the toy industry that, you know, there's
- 1:21:25always a bit of weight with pre-orders.
- 1:21:26Yeah, yeah, just to. And then they're like, are you
- 1:21:29an idiot? And then there's this sort of.
- 1:21:30Attitude as well. It is hard to to explain.
- 1:21:33Yeah, and I also went through a phase at some point where every
- 1:21:38pre-order ordered was like the week I was away on my holidays.
- 1:21:43Oh yeah, you know. And I don't go away that often.
- 1:21:48But. It wasn't 3 or 4.
- 1:21:50A Lithia, Arathir and another one arrived, all big.
- 1:21:58The big massive all inbox arrived when I wasn't here and
- 1:22:02nobody was here. Obviously I figured it out with
- 1:22:06the neighbour, whatever, but that's the thing.
- 1:22:10When you ordered two years in advance, you have no clue what
- 1:22:13your circumstances are going to be when that big box arrives.
- 1:22:17That's then that is the that's another the dragon.
- 1:22:19Is the one, you know, what's going to happen now, Where will
- 1:22:22it be if I am not here when the dragon arrives?
- 1:22:24I think I might actually have a heart attack because, you know,
- 1:22:29I might have to drive to customs to beg to let that thing in, you
- 1:22:31know? Can you just, yeah, bring it
- 1:22:33home with you? Yeah, right.
- 1:22:38That's the other one. Then with me is a rent and there
- 1:22:41is a desire to get a house at some point.
- 1:22:44So it's quite going to transfer all this stuff over and.
- 1:22:49Oh. Yeah, that moving truck, that'll
- 1:22:51be an extra moving truck. Yeah, in most cases selling
- 1:22:54parts like cart is a bad idea. I mean.
- 1:23:01I'm assuming they mean breaking things up and just yeah.
- 1:23:03Oh yeah, that's a disaster of an idea.
- 1:23:05I mean. People do, but.
- 1:23:07Years, no, but I think do they think do they mean this for the
- 1:23:12horsemen or for for people that are selling I assume?
- 1:23:16They mean people that are selling them.
- 1:23:18I don't think so. I mean, as Joe Suiter, he seems
- 1:23:21to be doing fine with it. If it's for the, I'm going to
- 1:23:25assume it's for the horsemen. You know, that people are saying
- 1:23:28they, they wish they could, you know, sell legs online and
- 1:23:32torsos and, you know, separate. That would be a disaster for the
- 1:23:37line. You know, he wouldn't be so many
- 1:23:40bits of figures out in the wild. Just, you know, no, OK.
- 1:23:46I prefer the generic knight helmets to the visor helmets
- 1:23:49with face plates. I've been a big fan of the
- 1:23:53Armoury Knights. All right, well, I like the
- 1:23:58visor once I've. Said I like both.
- 1:24:01I like both. I just have a bit of variety.
- 1:24:03Yeah. You know the visors give you
- 1:24:04that. Yeah, Bird, bad articulation and
- 1:24:10the whole lot of all. Right, go and buy a line where
- 1:24:14they don't reuse the mould. Yeah.
- 1:24:20Enjoy that one figure from every line.
- 1:24:23And it's not like your opinion, it's just that you're in the
- 1:24:25wrong line to like look like something else.
- 1:24:28Helping. Yeah, like.
- 1:24:30Mundo 1/12 He man figures are over $100 a figure.
- 1:24:37That skeletal is definitely using that human body.
- 1:24:41Yeah, you know, so and OK, Legions might be that level, but
- 1:24:46it's a real Ghostbusters. I mean, yeah, yeah, they're.
- 1:24:49All wearing the same, they've all got the same bodies and
- 1:24:52they're £100 each. It's just.
- 1:24:54Weapons should be made of PVC instead of ABS resin blend
- 1:24:58plastic. So he wants the really hard
- 1:25:02weapons to be like solid hard. Not so sure about that.
- 1:25:07They're going to break then much more.
- 1:25:09Yeah. In a snap yeah.
- 1:25:11I think there's a line like the really thin one that came with
- 1:25:15Mouse King. It's very easy to to bend it and
- 1:25:17then mine was slightly bent and I heated, heated it too much and
- 1:25:24now I can't get it's just a, it is just an elastic band
- 1:25:28basically. So yeah.
- 1:25:32But I, I got an extra so that's scavenge the sword out of that
- 1:25:36and use the other one for parts. So, which was my intention
- 1:25:39anyway? So.
- 1:25:40It's almost a no win with this. It's like, yeah, you go softer,
- 1:25:43people complain. You're harder, people complain.
- 1:25:45Yeah, we've all been there. Sounds likely.
- 1:25:49To go softer, but yeah. Sounds like my love.
- 1:25:52Love. Are we talking about demon wings
- 1:25:53here? Right.
- 1:25:56Ogre and brute. They're different sizes, but
- 1:25:59they technically are the same scale.
- 1:26:01OK, this is a pedant. Yeah.
- 1:26:03This is a pedant. Yeah, Yeah, is.
- 1:26:05This you Rich? It's not me.
- 1:26:07No, no. Right.
- 1:26:12OK, next, I believe that people who purposely post unpopular
- 1:26:18opinions should have been insulted when those opinions are
- 1:26:20challenged. Well, I really hope so.
- 1:26:24We might be losing a lot of, well, the few viewers we've got.
- 1:26:29Well, I can tell you this won't be our only unpopular opinions
- 1:26:32episode because we are not even halfway through the opinions
- 1:26:34halfway. Now there is more than 100 and
- 1:26:37we're on #42 so I reckon we go to around 50 and called quits
- 1:26:41for the night and then we'll do another episode in the future,
- 1:26:44yeah. Nothing makes me laugh more.
- 1:26:46I don't think in the cabal and someone someone's trying to be
- 1:26:48clever and going oh, an unpopular opinion or I think
- 1:26:51this blah blah. And then someone has the
- 1:26:53opposite opinion and they're like, how dare you challenge my
- 1:26:55opinion and it's just my. Opinion.
- 1:26:59Yeah, mine is your role. There.
- 1:27:05Should be more Ogre scale armour, particularly pauldrons.
- 1:27:09That includes custom parts. I didn't see any at all at
- 1:27:11Legions con. Yeah, I think it will come in
- 1:27:14time with more Ogre scale figures.
- 1:27:17We've only just got the armoured Ogre scale for example.
- 1:27:21Or is it oversize? Actually I should be saying
- 1:27:27pauldrons and stuff and you know, yeah what there is going
- 1:27:31to be out there. No, it's going.
- 1:27:33To take a long while because you can't yeah you know as somebody
- 1:27:36with a faction a custom faction that's pretty much all logo
- 1:27:38scale figures that takes a lot of display room you know you.
- 1:27:43So they can't give us an entire way but bogus scale or whatever
- 1:27:46sort of thing. So they're going to come out
- 1:27:47slower. So it's going to take longer to
- 1:27:48get all the various bits and they.
- 1:27:49Cost more and probably sell less for that reason alone.
- 1:27:53I'm alone. You ever buy one?
- 1:27:55Many customizers are not, you know, only maybe the odd very
- 1:28:01few customizers are buying ogres scale or oversized to to
- 1:28:05customise because it's a whole lot of painting now.
- 1:28:08I've I've always thought to like one or two at most except for
- 1:28:12the half giant or I have 15. You have 15 1/2 giant 15.
- 1:28:16Half Giants. What?
- 1:28:19Are they all different customer heads and stuff?
- 1:28:20Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:21And different torsos on some of them I had commissioned.
- 1:28:25And this sort of funny show you. Wow, those T boys.
- 1:28:28Wow, we need a picture of those. Yeah, stick to a budget.
- 1:28:42I think they made too few different orcs for too long.
- 1:28:46I switched to other companies from my orc army.
- 1:28:48There are and not enough dwarfs. One per wave please.
- 1:28:54Yeah, it's difficult, isn't it? I mean.
- 1:28:55I wouldn't like a hard and fast rule about any particular
- 1:28:58character type per wave. You know, we, they, they have to
- 1:29:01creatively decide what works in a wave.
- 1:29:04You know they do. And it's, you know, the whole
- 1:29:06switch to other companies, I immediately thought, oh, they've
- 1:29:08just gone and got loaded meti toys ones and but then the meti
- 1:29:10toy Yorks are all the same. They.
- 1:29:13Might be slightly different head, or a slightly bit of
- 1:29:15armour, but they're all basically the same figure.
- 1:29:17Yeah, colours. Yeah, it's it's.
- 1:29:21Difficult isn't it? Because actually, whilst I agree
- 1:29:24I'd like more dwarves, I also want all the other cool
- 1:29:27characters we get in as well. So.
- 1:29:30Yeah, I mean, I'd, I would love to see vampires in every single
- 1:29:34wave. At least two vampires in every
- 1:29:36wave. But it's not going to happen, so
- 1:29:37I just suck it up, buttercup. And you've had to suck off
- 1:29:41waiting for vampires now for a while.
- 1:29:43So vampire, you get a few I mean.
- 1:29:45They're not. They're not that popular.
- 1:29:47I'm hoping that the follow on from Borrow Einsman might
- 1:29:50another. Another fun episode we have to
- 1:29:52do soon is our predictions for this year.
- 1:29:55Before we do. And we have to review last
- 1:29:58year's predictions. I have to go through that
- 1:30:00episode and clip out our predictions and we can shameless
- 1:30:03we need. To do that sooner rather than
- 1:30:05later, I think one of my predictions for this year, I
- 1:30:07think will come true. Before we propose, Well, we can.
- 1:30:09Say it now then. That when they're showing that
- 1:30:15elf, the health, the thing in a couple of weeks time, that's
- 1:30:18where the new touring figure will drop as well, because it's
- 1:30:20the first show. Maybe it's maybe that's the
- 1:30:24touring figure. That 2026 touring figure will
- 1:30:26suddenly appear. Oh cool, lots of people are
- 1:30:29saying female barbarian. Oh.
- 1:30:33No, no, it wouldn't be. It wouldn't be the RPG stuff.
- 1:30:36It would just be a, you know, by the way, he is a female
- 1:30:39barbarian or yeah. OK, the female ballot.
- 1:30:42Let's see. The legions have more in common
- 1:30:48with Lego than they do with Marvel Legends.
- 1:30:51And I agree with them 100%. I think it's a fantastic take.
- 1:30:54Let's not. Say who it is if you know, but I
- 1:30:56I definitely agree with this as well.
- 1:30:59They do, and when I see my kid even playing with them now, when
- 1:31:03I've showed them what he can do, he's definitely instantly going
- 1:31:06to do that rather than like trying to pose them in an
- 1:31:10articulated way, I think. It's such a fun part of it.
- 1:31:15Yeah. You never get too old for that
- 1:31:17sort of stuff, you know? I mean, obviously lots of adults
- 1:31:19collect Lego. I was putting together a
- 1:31:21blockies transformer last night and had a great time doing it.
- 1:31:25Oh. They're so fun.
- 1:31:26Yeah. Yeah, that's fun and even you
- 1:31:29can do it, Rich. So exactly.
- 1:31:32You know, I mean it took don't go wrong.
- 1:31:33It took me quite a while to do it.
- 1:31:34I think somebody else would have had four built.
- 1:31:36So it was just opening the box but.
- 1:31:38I'm going to I'm going to blame bad back for that too, because I
- 1:31:40was in a lot of pain when I was trying to do that last night
- 1:31:42was. It Was it a little one or one of
- 1:31:44the bigger ones? No, just the the sort of normal
- 1:31:48blocky size when you sort of thing to be.
- 1:31:50Fair. My first couple of them took me.
- 1:31:52I just, you know, it didn't. I did something about them
- 1:31:56initially that first it was so confusing trying to follow the
- 1:32:00instructions, but after you get used I think.
- 1:32:03It's the sort of thing so, so you get the case of nine figures
- 1:32:06with the Transformers anyway, and you just want to, in ideal
- 1:32:09words, you just build them all at the same time.
- 1:32:11Because once you know how the arm goes together, you can do
- 1:32:13it. But if you don't do it for like
- 1:32:15a couple months and then you're back and you're like, right, how
- 1:32:16does the arm go together again? But I've Speaking of the blocky
- 1:32:20scales taken off track just for a second.
- 1:32:22I've also ordered a box of the really small ones, so like half
- 1:32:25the size of the normal blocky ones.
- 1:32:27Blockies again, but they've started doing super deforming
- 1:32:31Transformers things are ordered a box of those.
- 1:32:33So I will see what they're like, I think.
- 1:32:39Gasper actually likes amusement, I think.
- 1:32:43He does too, I think. He does, I think.
- 1:32:45It's a character he plays. Yeah, more than anything.
- 1:32:48I mean, he he hangs around with the Purple Gang, gang guys, and
- 1:32:52all they do is is carry on. Yeah.
- 1:32:57Face plates should have been and could have been 100% in such
- 1:33:00change. Well, I'm glad you know more
- 1:33:02about toy production than me or Mallard or Rich or the Horsemen.
- 1:33:07As it was sent, yeah, some of it was never intended to be, but
- 1:33:11then they have been. And if they?
- 1:33:15This is the case where they should have just glued the face
- 1:33:17plate on some of them. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:33:20And people wouldn't have complained.
- 1:33:23The. Proportions on the humans are
- 1:33:24always off heads are too big, we've.
- 1:33:27Had this one already. Yeah, just.
- 1:33:29Give it. Wrong.
- 1:33:31Pauldron ports do not make very good wing ports.
- 1:33:35No, they don't really, No, but. They're not designed for that,
- 1:33:39are they? So not really, no.
- 1:33:42You can use them with the the demon wings as opposed to wings.
- 1:33:49Right. Let's do 3.
- 1:33:50More as my demon with two demon wangs on his back sticking out
- 1:33:53of his border. Handheld crossbows.
- 1:33:56Isn't the crossbow we have handheld?
- 1:33:58I thought so. Yeah.
- 1:34:00That's what I was thinking. You're thinking you hold.
- 1:34:01It like you hold it like this unless.
- 1:34:03They're thinking really small, so rather.
- 1:34:07Than OK wine. Oh.
- 1:34:08With a little little. A little little in it and pistol
- 1:34:12sort of that would probably. Be a new crossbow I'd be down
- 1:34:15for so. Definitely.
- 1:34:17Yeah, absolutely. And if the barbarian or bear,
- 1:34:21let's finish on this one, which just annoy if the barbarian or
- 1:34:24bear warrior types can get sculpted muscle.
- 1:34:26No shame in having Lady warriors to have some definition.
- 1:34:30Don't disagree, I think the two people are bit of the aim of the
- 1:34:342.0 females is that isn't it? But they're not quite as ripped
- 1:34:39as the men but. But.
- 1:34:42Don't disagree. Really pretty bad figures so.
- 1:34:47OK, no, let's do two more, right?
- 1:34:49So this one is a repetition. Still.
- 1:34:52A lot of QC of shoes this far into the line.
- 1:34:55We've addressed this one but put it in there just to show that
- 1:35:00there is more. And then finally for tonight,
- 1:35:03Magnus is overrated and OG Valgard is a terrible thing.
- 1:35:08Bombshells. So who's going to take this one,
- 1:35:17Mel? So.
- 1:35:19I think the Magnus head sculpt is fantastic.
- 1:35:22I don't necessarily disagree over the figure as a whole.
- 1:35:28Valgard, he was Mal on that one, yeah.
- 1:35:30OK. The figure itself is just.
- 1:35:32It's OK, it's good, it's cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:35:36And Valgard, I mean, it's it probably wasn't at the time, was
- 1:35:40it? I'd love to have the original
- 1:35:42Valgard just because of the rarity of it.
- 1:35:45So. Can we just not talk about the
- 1:35:47original Valgard? Trauma.
- 1:35:50I mean, the new Valgard is clearly better.
- 1:35:53Yeah. And the best thing about the
- 1:35:56original Valgard, and the most attractive thing I suppose, is
- 1:35:59that it was a Kickstarter exclusive, so if you had one,
- 1:36:01you felt special. He is a little bit unique and
- 1:36:04he's the only kind of gold coloured dwarf.
- 1:36:07It's not. It's not terrible figure, it's
- 1:36:09just the early days. Dwarf, yeah, that's what they
- 1:36:12were that, you know, if you think that's terrible, I think
- 1:36:14bronze dwarfs terrible steel, you know, silver dwarf is
- 1:36:18terrible, you know, porn is terrible.
- 1:36:20It's just that's what they were, you know?
- 1:36:22Like on CAN is just a Dwarf Legion builder with a couple of
- 1:36:27paint apps. But.
- 1:36:29He's £450 on eBay. It's just.
- 1:36:32Rare, you know. You don't mean dwarf, You mean
- 1:36:36or one. Can you know?
- 1:36:37Yeah, Yeah. The orc, you know, but it's the
- 1:36:39same kind of thing I'm trying to say, you know?
- 1:36:41I thought you said. Dwarf Legion Build No.
- 1:36:43No, you can. Or.
- 1:36:45Yeah, I mean years or yeah, but. Yeah, sorry, I must have had a
- 1:36:48moment. Sorry Matt, you've just read my.
- 1:36:53Point here. 220220 OK right so there we go.
- 1:37:00A Magnus is not operated. Magnus is amazing.
- 1:37:05I love them. I mean, maybe to today's
- 1:37:08standards, you know, he wouldn't be as amazing, but for when he
- 1:37:13was released, he was awesome. OK, so that's your lot for this
- 1:37:18week. And we'll be back with more
- 1:37:21popular opinions in the future. Part 2 of this one, and we'll
- 1:37:26call. We'll just call this one what it
- 1:37:28is and we'll call. More.
- 1:37:31Unpopular opinions the next time, I suppose.
- 1:37:35So yeah, great to be back and look for a little episodes for
- 1:37:39us. And thanks for listening, Stay.
- 1:37:47Safe out there, everybody, You're perfectly entitled to
- 1:37:50your own popular opinion. As long as you're always hard,
- 1:37:56right? Yeah, if you're he goes.
