- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Marximo on the Voice of New York seven.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Wo wong, Well, welcome to our number three. That's right,
- 0:12Speaker 2: our three. We start at nine o'clock. Now it's nine
- 0:15Speaker 2: to noon every day, nine to noon every day. The
- 0:19Speaker 2: Communist Socialist, whatever the helley is, doctor Abdul al Sayad
- 0:25Speaker 2: has won the Democratic primary in Michigan. That means he'll
- 0:29Speaker 2: be the Senate candidate against the Republican Mike Rogers. Now
- 0:33Speaker 2: this is not New York City or La or San Francisco.
- 0:36Speaker 2: This is Michigan, the heartland of America. Hard to believe
- 0:40Speaker 2: a communist socialists can win statewide. They can win in
- 0:44Speaker 2: a little district. You know, parts of the outside of
- 0:46Speaker 2: the Detroit Dearborn, certain areas have become very left wing kookie,
- 0:50Speaker 2: a lot of Muslim population there, a lot of what's
- 0:55Speaker 2: her name, talib whatever kind of types there. But this
- 1:00Speaker 2: is a statewide race. Most of Michigan is pretty common sense,
- 1:04Speaker 2: old fashioned kind of stuff. So most people think he's
- 1:08Speaker 2: got no shot statewide. But the doctor Abdul l Sayad,
- 1:13Speaker 2: the Communist nominee, this is just infected the Democratic Party.
- 1:19Speaker 2: You know, there was a time in America in the
- 1:21Speaker 2: nineteen fifties, where if they thought you were a Communist,
- 1:25Speaker 2: you were blacklisted. You could never work again. I don't
- 1:29Speaker 2: care who you were in show business, you were blacklisted
- 1:31Speaker 2: a communist, and not even if you were an active
- 1:35Speaker 2: communist FF years ago. You had gone to a Communist meeting,
- 1:40Speaker 2: you were blacklisted in the Hollywood, you never work again.
- 1:42Speaker 2: It happened to a lot of people, a lot of people.
- 1:48Speaker 2: In fact, that Lucille Ball, they said, might have been
- 1:51Speaker 2: a Communists, might have gone to a Communist meeting, Well,
- 1:54Speaker 2: that would have meant cancellation if I love Lucy the whole.
- 1:57Speaker 2: So they turned out it wasn't true, but they had
- 1:59Speaker 2: to go crazy proving that that she was never at
- 2:03Speaker 2: anything with communists, have never went to any Communist meeting.
- 2:06Speaker 2: But that was then. If you, even when you were
- 2:09Speaker 2: at college, went to a Communist meeting, you were a blacklist.
- 2:11Speaker 2: You could never work again. That was Hollywood.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Then.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Now, if they find out you're a Communists in Hollywood,
- 2:16Speaker 2: they'll throw fundraisers at the house for you. You'll be on
- 2:20Speaker 2: MSNBC every night, you'll be on CNN. They'll love you,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and what the hell happened? Now, hopefully it's just a
- 2:26Speaker 2: weird phase America is going through. Well, there was another
- 2:30Speaker 2: assassination attempt on President Trump. He's also got a big
- 2:35Speaker 2: golf course and resort out there in Los Angeles, and
- 2:38Speaker 2: he went out there yesterday to They were doing something
- 2:41Speaker 2: at that golf course, a tournament or something. He was
- 2:43Speaker 2: going out there for that and also to make a speech.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And they found an assassin and would be assassin wandering
- 2:50Speaker 2: around the golf course. They arrested him. They found all
- 2:55Speaker 2: kinds of weapons and stuff on him. They knew he
- 2:58Speaker 2: was a potential assassin. He was arrested. They will prosecute him.
- 3:04Speaker 2: He wasn't the smartest assassin in the world. Now, how
- 3:07Speaker 2: many assassination attempts is this? He got Butler, he got
- 3:11Speaker 2: the golf course in Palm Beach. You've had a number
- 3:15Speaker 2: of assassin I think we're up to five now. I
- 3:16Speaker 2: remember the guy came to mar A Lago with a
- 3:18Speaker 2: bomb that got him before he got in. But this
- 3:21Speaker 2: is the next would be assassin. Now, this guy wasn't
- 3:24Speaker 2: so bright. He's wandering around on a golf course. This
- 3:28Speaker 2: is how they first spotted the guy. First of all,
- 3:30Speaker 2: he wasn't playing golf. He was just wandering around on
- 3:33Speaker 2: a golf course. And it's the day the President's going
- 3:36Speaker 2: to be there at this golf course, so there's a
- 3:37Speaker 2: lot of extra security. And they notice he doesn't look
- 3:40Speaker 2: like a golfer. You know, if you want to do
- 3:43Speaker 2: something like that would be assassin. And you're going to
- 3:46Speaker 2: be walking around a golf course, get a pair of
- 3:48Speaker 2: golf shoes and one of those foot Joy golf shirts
- 3:52Speaker 2: or something it look like you're a golfer, put on
- 3:54Speaker 2: a golf glove, carry a club. But he didn't even
- 3:56Speaker 2: do that, so they could clearly see he was totally
- 3:59Speaker 2: out of place there when they went over to him,
- 4:01Speaker 2: started to question him, ended up searching him, found all
- 4:04Speaker 2: that stuff, so they got him. The president when it
- 4:08Speaker 2: comes to Iran, he thinks there'll be a deal, maybe
- 4:11Speaker 2: later today, maybe tomorrow to open the straight of horn Moods.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We'll see how that goes, and that should take care
- 4:17Speaker 2: of the whole situation for about a week and then
- 4:20Speaker 2: it'll all start up again. Now everybody hates what the
- 4:24Speaker 2: president's doing in Iran, even Republicans. They hate this. On again,
- 4:27Speaker 2: off again, start again, Stop bomb the hell out of you.
- 4:31Speaker 2: We'll make a peace agreement. Then we'll bomb the hell
- 4:33Speaker 2: out of you. You know, you could go. People say
- 4:36Speaker 2: they should just go finish him off. Yeah, it's a
- 4:39Speaker 2: big thing to do. You know, that's Hiroshima. Remember Hiroshima
- 4:43Speaker 2: was stunning, shocking, jaw dropping, it was. And then they
- 4:49Speaker 2: signed that the peace agreement on the deck of that
- 4:53Speaker 2: ship MacArthur and all that. I mean, you're not going
- 4:55Speaker 2: to have that here. I mean, you could just go
- 4:59Speaker 2: wipe my I guess President's thinking is. I can't explain it.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I don't know what his thinking is on this, but
- 5:03Speaker 2: I guess it is if we ever do have to
- 5:06Speaker 2: just go wipe them out, at least it will be
- 5:09Speaker 2: clear that it was an absolute last resort, that we
- 5:14Speaker 2: gave him every chance in the world over and over again.
- 5:18Speaker 2: But remember it's Trump, It's Trump derangement syndrome. No matter what,
- 5:23Speaker 2: they're gonna forget that he gave him every chance. They're
- 5:25Speaker 2: just gonna yell at him for wiping them out, and
- 5:27Speaker 2: they'll never remember that he gave him a twenty seven
- 5:30Speaker 2: piece agreements. But he thinks they'll be a deal later today.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I want to give him every last chance before decapitation.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I'm very proud of the fact that I will give people,
- 5:40Speaker 4: I'll give people a chance. This is a big move
- 5:42Speaker 4: to do an attack that big on a contry I'd
- 5:46Speaker 4: rather not do. Now, we've already throw lots of large attacks,
- 5:51Speaker 4: but they were normal large.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, so they've got stuff plan that is going to
- 5:56Speaker 2: be so massive it will just take out anything and everything.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Now you see these reports that the US is running
- 6:02Speaker 2: out of missiles. We don't. We're running low on long
- 6:05Speaker 2: range missiles. We're running low on this the stockpiles are deplete. Well,
- 6:10Speaker 2: the President says that's not true. And this is all
- 6:12Speaker 2: coming from fake news networks, you know. And they supposedly
- 6:15Speaker 2: have seven sources, twenty three sources, ninety four sources, but
- 6:19Speaker 2: who knows it's coming out? Here's Reuters. You can't trust
- 6:22Speaker 2: routers anymore. They've become so biased and slanted. Exclusive Reuters
- 6:27Speaker 2: report the Army has burned through much of its stockpile
- 6:31Speaker 2: of precision long range missiles. But a lot of people
- 6:34Speaker 2: there say it's not true, citing three people familiar with
- 6:37Speaker 2: the data.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Huh.
- 6:39Speaker 2: The Reuters reports the Army is used virtually all of
- 6:43Speaker 2: its tactical missiles.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Again, I wouldn't believe Reuters at all, very very biased.
- 6:49Speaker 2: One source told Reuters, We've used half our global supply
- 6:53Speaker 2: of Tomahawk missiles. Those are the ones launched from destroyers, cruisers,
- 6:57Speaker 2: submarines that can take out targets. But again President says
- 7:01Speaker 2: it's not true. And he said we have more munitions
- 7:05Speaker 2: right now than anyone in the world, and far more
- 7:08Speaker 2: than we need. He said, our defense companies are at
- 7:10Speaker 2: this moment making more munitions than they have ever made before.
- 7:14Speaker 2: They're even expanding their plants and equipment at record levels.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Now.
- 7:19Speaker 2: The other thing that fake news will keep telling you
- 7:21Speaker 2: is that, and there may be some truth to this,
- 7:23Speaker 2: that Russia and China are helping Iran, helping them target
- 7:28Speaker 2: US forces, supplying them with missiles. There's no actual evidence
- 7:32Speaker 2: that they've actually supplied anybody with missiles. But but and
- 7:38Speaker 2: this could be the case. It's also believed that Russia
- 7:42Speaker 2: and China are supplying Iran with intelligence and satellite imagery.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Now that's a key thing. That's one reason we're able
- 7:51Speaker 2: to hit targets so well. We have satellites, and it's
- 7:56Speaker 2: not like Google Maps kind of a satellite. These satellites
- 7:59Speaker 2: are so clear you can zoom in on a license
- 8:03Speaker 2: plate on a car. I mean they're really clear. You
- 8:06Speaker 2: can see everything from up there. So we have satellite imagery.
- 8:09Speaker 2: We can watch everything in Iran. We can watch every
- 8:11Speaker 2: movement of everybody. Well, China has that too, and Russia
- 8:15Speaker 2: has that too, So it's believed they are supplying with Iran,
- 8:19Speaker 2: supplying Ran with satellite imagery that way. You know, when
- 8:22Speaker 2: they strike one of our air bases or one of
- 8:25Speaker 2: our planes that's on an air base and cutter or Oman,
- 8:29Speaker 2: how do they know how do they target it? So well,
- 8:31Speaker 2: it could be Russia and China supplying them with that
- 8:37Speaker 2: satellite imagery. So that's something to watch out for. Hey,
- 8:43Speaker 2: you know people meet online now, that's the way everybody meets.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It's through dating apps. You know, they're on Bumble and
- 8:49Speaker 2: Tinder and Hinge and okay, Cupid in all of these
- 8:54Speaker 2: dating apps. That's been the case for years, ten years.
- 8:57Speaker 2: So apparently the new younger generations don't like the dating apps.
- 9:02Speaker 2: They want to meet in person. This has become the
- 9:05Speaker 2: big thing to actually meet in person now. Most of
- 9:10Speaker 2: them live in their parents' basement and never talk to
- 9:12Speaker 2: anybody ever, so it's hard when you're not used to
- 9:14Speaker 2: talking to anybody in person to go up and meet
- 9:16Speaker 2: somebody in person. But they're trying it. This is becoming
- 9:19Speaker 2: the big thing now. The reason you watch what younger
- 9:23Speaker 2: people do, especially people in the twenties. Whatever they do,
- 9:27Speaker 2: that's what everybody else is going to be doing in
- 9:28Speaker 2: a few years. It's always that way. They start using Twitter,
- 9:31Speaker 2: next thing, you know, everybody's on Twitter. They start using Instagram,
- 9:34Speaker 2: next thing, you know, everybody's on Instagram. It always works
- 9:36Speaker 2: that way. So what does this mean and they want
- 9:40Speaker 2: to meet in person, Well, apparently there's going to be
- 9:43Speaker 2: more and more in person. You know, everything is digital,
- 9:45Speaker 2: everything is online now, but that may start to switch
- 9:49Speaker 2: a little. For instance, Men's Warehouse. You have big clothing stores,
- 9:53Speaker 2: Men's Warehouse. They're opening a new one out in Long
- 9:56Speaker 2: Island Riverhead. But I'm looking at this. They're about to
- 9:59Speaker 2: open five hundred new Men's Warehouse stores, five hundred.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Now.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Supposedly retail is dead, nobody wants to go into the store,
- 10:08Speaker 2: but they've got data that shows otherwise, so they're opening
- 10:12Speaker 2: five hundred new stores. You remember Barnes and Noble, your
- 10:16Speaker 2: kids today, we didn't have any Kindle, we didn't have
- 10:19Speaker 2: any Amazon. Why we had to go to a bookstore.
- 10:22Speaker 2: You had to buy the books in person. They'd put
- 10:24Speaker 2: them in a bag. You had to carry the books home.
- 10:27Speaker 2: So Barnes and Nobles they were everywhere. Remember the one
- 10:31Speaker 2: on the west side sixty seventh Street Broadway, Remember the one. Well,
- 10:35Speaker 2: they were all over the place. They were enormous, enormous,
- 10:39Speaker 2: they were huge. You could walk for miles through a
- 10:43Speaker 2: Barnes and Noble. They had chairs everywhere, you could sit down,
- 10:47Speaker 2: you could read. You know, normally a store you don't
- 10:49Speaker 2: buy anything, they want to chase you out. Barnes and
- 10:50Speaker 2: Noble was the opposite. They had couches, chairs, take some books,
- 10:54Speaker 2: sit here all day.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Read.
- 10:56Speaker 2: So these big Barnes and Nobles, and then Amazon comes
- 10:59Speaker 2: along wipes Barnes and Noble. All the stores are gone.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Well they're coming back. They're starting to open a whole
- 11:04Speaker 2: new round of Barnes and Nobles. But this is a
- 11:08Speaker 2: different version. They're much smaller. They do sell books, but
- 11:13Speaker 2: there's also really nice cafes and a full menu, all
- 11:17Speaker 2: kinds of food. They're about to open another one and
- 11:21Speaker 2: comack LONGI and you get one of these new Barnes
- 11:23Speaker 2: and Nobles. There's one west Chester. I within the other days.
- 11:28Speaker 2: I think it's east Chester near White Plans. There's a barn,
- 11:32Speaker 2: So you're gonna start seeing more and more of these
- 11:34Speaker 2: so in person stuff might actually start making a comeback
- 11:39Speaker 2: in many ways, with shopping, with books, with all of
- 11:43Speaker 2: that stuff. Hey, I hate when they have these days.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You know, it's like National French Fried Day, it's National
- 11:48Speaker 2: Donut Day. They're the worst, although sometimes it's good because
- 11:51Speaker 2: around here National Donut Day there's like six donut buffets
- 11:55Speaker 2: outside because all the donut companies send them to us,
- 11:59Speaker 2: Or if it's National Taco Day, there's tacos everywhere down
- 12:02Speaker 2: the hall there. Today is National Underwear Day. This is disgusting.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Now this has got What the hell does that mean?
- 12:09Speaker 2: National Underwear Day? I was terrified when I got off
- 12:12Speaker 2: the elevator that that table where the buffets are would
- 12:15Speaker 2: be filled with underwear National Underwear Day? What the hell
- 12:18Speaker 2: is that all about? The reason they do like a
- 12:22Speaker 2: National Donut Day, the donut companies get behind this and
- 12:25Speaker 2: that way they think they'll sell more donuts that day.
- 12:28Speaker 2: But what are you supposed to do, supposed to run
- 12:30Speaker 2: out and buy underwear? Is this National Underwear Day? People?
- 12:33Speaker 2: Like they know what they want to wear. They got
- 12:35Speaker 2: enough pairs. Every so often you order some more. But
- 12:39Speaker 2: National Underwear Day absolutely disgusting. Hey, mom Donnie. As we
- 12:45Speaker 2: mentioned before, now under investigation by the Department of Justice
- 12:50Speaker 2: for anti semitism, open active investigation in a Mom Donnie
- 12:54Speaker 2: for anti semitism. Number of hate crimes is up dramatically
- 12:58Speaker 2: in New York and the majority of these new hate
- 13:00Speaker 2: crimes anti Semitic. Now here's another thing. Remember Biden and
- 13:06Speaker 2: the Democrats used to throw around the words anti They
- 13:09Speaker 2: used to say white supremacist. Used to be they call
- 13:12Speaker 2: everybody a racist. Then that wasn't good enough anymore. Suddenly
- 13:16Speaker 2: everybody's a white supremacist. Nobody knows what the hell they
- 13:19Speaker 2: were talking about. White supremacist. I mean, there are such
- 13:24Speaker 2: a thing as white supremacists. A bunch of them in
- 13:26Speaker 2: the Appalachian Mountains somewhere, there's a few of them in prisons,
- 13:31Speaker 2: but otherwise there's no such But we've now got it.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Came true. There are white supremacists, Mom Donnie would be
- 13:37Speaker 2: a good example. And many of these Democrats are now
- 13:40Speaker 2: officially white supremacists. Because if you study this phenomenon, white supremacist.
- 13:46Speaker 2: A core belief of it is anti semitism. That's one
- 13:50Speaker 2: of the core things of white supremacy, whether it's Hitler whoever,
- 13:54Speaker 2: it is, anti semitism is a core principle of white supremacy.
- 13:59Speaker 2: So you can now now actually come to call mom
- 14:03Speaker 2: Donnie a white supremacist. And some of these other other
- 14:07Speaker 2: democrats and these these Alsai Hods and these these but
- 14:11Speaker 2: you know they are all these crazy left wing socialist coops,
- 14:15Speaker 2: these Latte liberals, as we like to call them Latte liberals. So, uh, hey,
- 14:21Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three to two
- 14:23Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number we want some
- 14:26Speaker 2: new callers too. Uh and don't forget, we're on three
- 14:30Speaker 2: hours every day. The show starts at nine o'clock now,
- 14:33Speaker 2: so every day it's three hours nine to noon. And
- 14:37Speaker 2: it's working out real well. Numbers are way up at
- 14:40Speaker 2: nine o'clock. I don't like to keep mentioning that because
- 14:42Speaker 2: these people will get the idea to go four hours, no, no, no,
- 14:45Speaker 2: three hours is that's just plenty nine to noon. And
- 14:50Speaker 2: if you're a podcast listen it means you get an
- 14:52Speaker 2: extra hour to listen to every day. But We'll take
- 14:55Speaker 2: some calls next eight hundred three to two one zero
- 14:59Speaker 2: seven ten. Is an eight hundred three to two one
- 15:02Speaker 2: zero seven ten, No, No Mark Simoon show nin until
- 15:06Speaker 2: noon weekday more Mark sevent ten.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Wor Hey, let's.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Take some calls eight hundred three to two one zero
- 15:18Speaker 2: seven ten. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Let's go to k in Manhattan, K. How you doing?
- 15:26Speaker 6: Oh well? Thank you, Mark. I'd like to say that
- 15:29Speaker 6: I don't know if this was such a big win
- 15:32Speaker 6: for this elsa heat. I was surprised. I thought he
- 15:36Speaker 6: would win big and he won close, and this might
- 15:40Speaker 6: be a good sign for the general election.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It is, it is, and you probably will not see
- 15:47Speaker 2: him win. And it's be a you know, it's one
- 15:50Speaker 2: thing if you try this in New York City, crazy socialist, communist,
- 15:54Speaker 2: weirdo left wing kook. But it's Michigan. It's the heartland
- 15:58Speaker 2: state wide race. He will who's doctor abdul l sayad here?
- 16:03Speaker 2: He is all right?
- 16:04Speaker 4: You all money out of money in your medicare.
- 16:08Speaker 2: For what the hell is he talking about? Let's go
- 16:13Speaker 2: to sal in playing Field, Sal. How you doing good?
- 16:17Speaker 6: Mark?
- 16:18Speaker 7: Very good? You know, when I was a liberal. I
- 16:21Speaker 7: used to listen a lot to PACIFICA radio network, and
- 16:25Speaker 7: I was what's that?
- 16:28Speaker 3: W B AI Yeah, w B A I.
- 16:31Speaker 7: You know, I became a liberal listening to them, and
- 16:34Speaker 7: and I was just wondering, did you have any opinion
- 16:38Speaker 7: when uh Fast Bob Fast passed away?
- 16:43Speaker 8: Uh?
- 16:43Speaker 2: I think the reason I didn't have any opinion, I
- 16:45Speaker 2: didn't know he passed away. I've heard the name. I
- 16:47Speaker 2: don't know who the hell he is. Who's Bob Fast?
- 16:51Speaker 7: He used to you know, he started basically at the
- 16:54Speaker 7: impromptu UH talk radio. He would go midnight to whatever,
- 16:58Speaker 7: five o'clock in the morning and w w B A.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I, Yeah, w B A I.
- 17:03Speaker 7: And I was just wondering, if you network.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I hate to bring up the reality w B A
- 17:08Speaker 2: I had about two hundred listeners. It was not a rap,
- 17:11Speaker 2: literally literally two hundred listeners. Nobody hears it.
- 17:15Speaker 7: Listener sponsored though, right.
- 17:18Speaker 2: But it was a little tiny thing. Nobody heard it.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I never heard it in my life. I've heard I've
- 17:22Speaker 2: heard of it. I've heard the name Bob Fast. It
- 17:25Speaker 2: sounds vaguely familiar. I've never heard of him, never heard it,
- 17:29Speaker 2: never listen, didn't know he passed away. I'm sorry to
- 17:32Speaker 2: hear he passed away, but I don't know if you
- 17:33Speaker 2: mean a year ago or ten years ago or whenever.
- 17:36Speaker 2: W b AI. It's where these crazy left wingers used
- 17:40Speaker 2: to be able to buy the time there. You could
- 17:41Speaker 2: buy your own show, pay for your own show, or
- 17:43Speaker 2: they'd give you a show and you could get your
- 17:46Speaker 2: own sponsor. It wasn't a real station. I didn't even
- 17:48Speaker 2: know if it's still there. Let's go to Tony and
- 17:51Speaker 2: White Plains. Tony, how you doing.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Hey, Mark?
- 17:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I have a great idea, and I think it's
- 17:59Speaker 5: a perfect It.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Will be the judge of that go ahead.
- 18:03Speaker 5: For Marco Rubio and Donald Trump to finally ask the
- 18:06Speaker 5: Cuban voters to vote to become a commonwealth of the
- 18:10Speaker 5: United States, our eighth commonwealth. And my best friends in
- 18:14Speaker 5: White Plants and they escaped Cuba like nineteen sixties, and
- 18:19Speaker 5: I think it's we already have Guntanamo Bay.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Down there, and no, we don't need it to be
- 18:23Speaker 2: part of the USA. We just need to liberate it,
- 18:25Speaker 2: make it a democracy again. It used to be, and
- 18:28Speaker 2: when it was a democracy, it was flourishing.
- 18:31Speaker 3: You know.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It's one of the most beautiful places in the world
- 18:33Speaker 2: talking about a beautiful Caribbean island with beaches. It's gorgeous.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Our usc will be used there now will be official currency.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Also, yeah, no Cuba, and they'll get this done before
- 18:44Speaker 2: Donald Trump leaves. They'll liberate Cuba. Before it was taken
- 18:48Speaker 2: over by Castro and the communists. It was a democracy,
- 18:52Speaker 2: like a Baptista kind of a democracy. But it was unbelievable.
- 18:56Speaker 2: It was the original Miami Beach. In fact, all those
- 18:58Speaker 2: hotels in Miami Beach, the Fountain, Blue of the Eden Rock,
- 19:02Speaker 2: all those guys that built those hotels, originally they had
- 19:05Speaker 2: all their hotels in Cuba. It was just like Miami Beach.
- 19:08Speaker 2: It was absolutely spectacular, incredible hotels. They had casinos, they
- 19:12Speaker 2: had gambling. It was flourishing, making a fortune. And if
- 19:16Speaker 2: you go away and come back in about fifteen years,
- 19:19Speaker 2: it's going to look like that again when it's liberated.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Good morning, Mark, Mark, dear boristein Michigan is probably what
- 19:29Speaker 1: pushed this guy Elsiate over the finish line. Mark. Given
- 19:35Speaker 1: the fact that Andrew Cuomo wasn't pardon by Joe Biden
- 19:41Speaker 1: or Kathy Hulkler, and please correct me if I'm long.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Can't all the businesses that went onder because he was
- 19:49Speaker 1: the first one to close down the businesses. I remember
- 19:52Speaker 1: his march in twenty twenty. He says it was going
- 19:55Speaker 1: to be for two weeks, then a month, and then
- 19:58Speaker 1: it went on in definitely. Now when he did that.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Living in one of my apartments, I had to build
- 20:06Speaker 1: a tenant who was renting commercial space in another place.
- 20:10Speaker 1: And she had an after school tutorial school where if
- 20:14Speaker 1: you were falling behind in these subjects, you went there
- 20:17Speaker 1: and you studied this and that. And she had quite
- 20:19Speaker 1: a business and she had all these New York City
- 20:21Speaker 1: teachers moonlighting there. And she lost the business because nobody
- 20:26Speaker 1: was going to send their kids to school. They closed everything.
- 20:29Speaker 1: And she also stiffed nobody stiffed me because I made
- 20:33Speaker 1: that y under. She stiffed the landlord for sixty g's.
- 20:39Speaker 1: That's no small change. And how many other people who
- 20:42Speaker 1: lost their businesses stiffed their landlords and lost their livelihoods.
- 20:48Speaker 2: But you can't blame CMO so much for the lockdown.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Every governor and they were all doing that, but you
- 20:53Speaker 2: can blame him for that. No bail, no jail, which
- 20:55Speaker 2: he single handedly created this crime wave. You can blame
- 20:58Speaker 2: him for closing Indian that was twenty five percent of
- 21:01Speaker 2: our electricity. Everybody's electric bill tripled as a result. You
- 21:04Speaker 2: can blame him for she we're putting redoing the parole
- 21:08Speaker 2: board to all whack of liberals who let out every killer.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Every they let out forty three cop killers. You can
- 21:14Speaker 2: blame him for a lot of stuff.
- 21:15Speaker 1: But mock the nursing dog.
- 21:18Speaker 2: He killed ten thousand people in our nursing room. You
- 21:20Speaker 2: can blame him for that too.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Well, Mock. When he did that, this tenant told me,
- 21:25Speaker 1: I said, I told all my tenants, you'll rent to
- 21:28Speaker 1: do at the end of the beginning of next month.
- 21:30Speaker 1: She told me, well, you're gonna have to wait until
- 21:33Speaker 1: I get my check from the government. I told her.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I said, well, you're gonna have to go live back
- 21:39Speaker 1: but your mother or father again.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, well, Vincent, great call, Thanks for thanks
- 21:44Speaker 2: for calling. Hey when we come back. Oh and Culter's
- 21:46Speaker 2: not here. She's on vacations. She's on vacation this week.
- 21:51Speaker 2: She'll be back next week. But we'll talk to the
- 21:52Speaker 2: great columnist Rob Shooter. He writes about a lot of
- 21:57Speaker 2: great stuff, and we're asking about Rosie o'donnald. I want
- 21:59Speaker 2: to know what the hell is she doing back in
- 22:00Speaker 2: this country. I thought we got rid of her. We'll
- 22:02Speaker 2: find out in a moment on seven to ten WR.
- 22:06Speaker 8: Maximo Live from the WR Life Back Studio.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Well, hey with us right now. Rob Shooter, the great
- 22:16Speaker 2: writer and columnists. Make sure you follow him on Substack
- 22:19Speaker 2: is substack is a Rob Shooter, naughty but nice. Follow
- 22:24Speaker 2: him on Substack. Make sure you get his book, his
- 22:25Speaker 2: best selling novel. You'll love it. It's called It Started
- 22:28Speaker 2: with a Whisper. It's available now. It's started with a
- 22:31Speaker 2: Whisper by Rob Shooter. Rob. How you doing?
- 22:35Speaker 8: Hey?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Good to be back my friends? How are you good? Hey?
- 22:38Speaker 2: Speaking of being back, I thought Rosie O'Donnell left the country.
- 22:41Speaker 2: What the hell is she doing back here?
- 22:45Speaker 8: She got help us off Rosies Back in New York.
- 22:48Speaker 8: She's been doing this controversial one woman show.
- 22:51Speaker 3: I actually saw it last week.
- 22:53Speaker 8: So she's doing this one woman show, and then I
- 22:55Speaker 8: think next week she's filling in for her pal Jimmy
- 22:59Speaker 8: Kimmel's on vacation. And now she's announced that she's returning
- 23:04Speaker 8: to the viewers So next year, it's the thirtieth anniversary
- 23:08Speaker 8: of The View.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Blabomouse, Rosie with her loose.
- 23:12Speaker 8: Lips, has announced to the world that she's coming back.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Well, I hit the phones.
- 23:18Speaker 8: Nobody at the View knows anything about the shit.
- 23:22Speaker 3: We don't know.
- 23:23Speaker 8: They said, next year is a big anniversary and will
- 23:27Speaker 8: they be celebrating it? And often these TV shows they
- 23:30Speaker 8: do retrospectives. They look back over the last twenty thirty
- 23:33Speaker 8: years and they pull up old clips and they bring
- 23:36Speaker 8: back old hosts. So is there a possibility that Rosie
- 23:39Speaker 8: might be invited back to be a guest on the show,
- 23:42Speaker 8: not a host.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yes, But as of this moment, as we speak now,
- 23:47Speaker 3: my friend, there's nothing on the books. Nobody knows about it.
- 23:51Speaker 8: Everybody at ABC is scratching their heads, including the.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Current host, the Whoopi Goldberg's and the Joys. There's just
- 23:59Speaker 3: not there yet.
- 24:01Speaker 8: They could be for once again, Rosie is ahead of
- 24:04Speaker 8: a skis.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I can't believe she was. Why what did you say
- 24:10Speaker 2: the thirtieth anniversary of The View?
- 24:12Speaker 8: Do you imagine that thirty years I was a young
- 24:16Speaker 8: publicist in New York. I'd just arrived in New York
- 24:19Speaker 8: and The View was one of the hottest shows, and
- 24:22Speaker 8: I used to go there taking different celebrities, and I
- 24:25Speaker 8: was lucky enough to work with Barbara Walters for a
- 24:27Speaker 8: little bit in my PR days. And at first everybody
- 24:30Speaker 8: made fun of that show. Everybody who bought that show
- 24:33Speaker 8: was going to get canceled. After the first.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Season, the numbers weren't very good, and I.
- 24:37Speaker 8: Think if ABC hadn't had Barbara Walters attached to it,
- 24:41Speaker 8: they would have canceled it.
- 24:43Speaker 3: But they didn't want to upset Barbara, so they.
- 24:45Speaker 8: Gave it a second chance, and in year two, year
- 24:48Speaker 8: three it took off. But initially that show was a
- 24:52Speaker 8: tough sell, and now it's been on for thirty years.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Back then, originally Joy behar was like a once week
- 25:00Speaker 2: that was it, right? Do you remember besides Barbara Waters,
- 25:04Speaker 2: who were the original.
- 25:06Speaker 8: Geby Metamophilis, she was like the MTV young person.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Who always said things that annoyed Barbara. And then there
- 25:13Speaker 3: was Star.
- 25:14Speaker 8: Joe Star was heavy. Star was on there, and Meredith Vieira.
- 25:20Speaker 8: I didn't know who Meredith was all the view so
- 25:24Speaker 8: it's Meredith Barbara Star and then Joy was the Phillip host.
- 25:30Speaker 8: Joy was I mean, Joy was a savvy player to
- 25:33Speaker 8: go from being a part time host on a TV
- 25:37Speaker 8: show to be in a full time host for thirty years.
- 25:41Speaker 8: She's the only original one left, is joy. She made
- 25:45Speaker 8: a penny or two, so she negotiated the politics, the drama,
- 25:49Speaker 8: all that stuff that goes on at ABC.
- 25:51Speaker 3: She's still standing.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, when it was Barbara Waters running it for
- 25:55Speaker 2: many years, it was kind of down the middle, some parlities, entertainment.
- 26:01Speaker 2: But then it became crazy, just strictly left wing.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Stuff's wild, isn't it.
- 26:05Speaker 8: Yeah, they're in a lot of trouble at the moment
- 26:07Speaker 8: with the FCC. The view is claiming that they are
- 26:12Speaker 8: a political show, not an entertainment show, and ABC moved
- 26:16Speaker 8: the view. When Barbara was there, it was in the
- 26:17Speaker 8: entertainment division and really they focused on celebrities and cooking
- 26:21Speaker 8: segments and fashion and occasionally a little bit of politics,
- 26:24Speaker 8: but it's more of a lifestyle type show. Then they
- 26:26Speaker 8: took a hard turn, which I don't think they would
- 26:29Speaker 8: have done if Barbara had still been alive.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Barbara's successus.
- 26:33Speaker 8: Even though she was an incredible newswoman, she knew the
- 26:36Speaker 8: power of entertainment. Her dad used to run the Latin
- 26:39Speaker 8: quarter here in New York. He was a showman, and
- 26:42Speaker 8: so Barbara loved celebrities, and she wanted that show each
- 26:45Speaker 8: day to be kind of fun and not so heavy.
- 26:48Speaker 8: If they were disagreeing about something, it would be Princess
- 26:52Speaker 8: Diana's dress, not taxes or immigrational. But now they've took
- 26:57Speaker 8: a hard turn, and there was recently a study I think.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Not ninety of the guests lens to the left.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so well, but you know, on both sides of
- 27:11Speaker 2: the aisle you got high IQ shows, low IQ shows.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Like on the left, Rachel Matter, that'd be a high
- 27:18Speaker 2: IQ show, and the view is the low IQ show
- 27:20Speaker 2: and you need that. So it's okay. I mean, well,
- 27:25Speaker 2: what are they on against? The price is right? I
- 27:26Speaker 2: mean it doesn't have to be that smart. Hey, Carson Daley,
- 27:33Speaker 2: what happened with him?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Matt Oh, this is trauma.
- 27:36Speaker 8: So I've just announced the kiki. Yeah, this is not
- 27:38Speaker 8: good anybody. He's been on the voice since day one.
- 27:41Speaker 8: I think he's the original cast member too. All those
- 27:44Speaker 8: judges and people spinning around in those red chairs, most
- 27:47Speaker 8: of them have changed parsons, the last connective tissue to
- 27:52Speaker 8: the original voice.
- 27:53Speaker 3: When it first debuted and it was a huge success.
- 27:56Speaker 3: He's now dropping out, is the official statement.
- 27:59Speaker 8: The official press release is put out by publicists, and
- 28:03Speaker 8: he wants to focus on his work on the Today Show.
- 28:06Speaker 8: But he has been doing that and the View for
- 28:09Speaker 8: the last and the Voice for the last decade, and
- 28:12Speaker 8: so I don't know what's suddenly changed. It isn't like
- 28:14Speaker 8: this is a new job and he's under a lot
- 28:16Speaker 8: of pressure. He's been juggling both for a really long time.
- 28:19Speaker 3: And let's be.
- 28:20Speaker 8: Honest, dean't the lead of the Today Show. He's on,
- 28:23Speaker 8: you know, for a few minutes every day. He's not
- 28:26Speaker 8: the host like Savannah. But he's been pushed out, so
- 28:30Speaker 8: he's no longer on the Voice and Kiki Palmer is
- 28:33Speaker 8: taking over. I'm told that even though the press releases
- 28:36Speaker 8: and all the all the interviews are positive and happy,
- 28:40Speaker 8: there's drama there. You and me have done this a
- 28:41Speaker 8: long time. People don't leave jobs like that, They get
- 28:44Speaker 8: pushed out. That is a fat job. It pays really well,
- 28:48Speaker 8: it's an easy job. They fly him back and forth
- 28:51Speaker 8: to la on a private plane. He tapes for a day,
- 28:54Speaker 8: he comes back, they put him in a posh hotel.
- 28:56Speaker 8: He's not sleeping on someone's doubt. It's a cushy, cushy job,
- 29:00Speaker 8: and it pays millions of dollars. And so the fact
- 29:03Speaker 8: that NBC has pulled that from him, that's not a
- 29:06Speaker 8: good sign.
- 29:07Speaker 2: What do you think it really is? They want somebody younger, thinner, whatever.
- 29:10Speaker 8: They want someone younger, someone of color, that shows a
- 29:12Speaker 8: little dated, that shows a little boring.
- 29:14Speaker 3: They like to woke things up, don't they. Over at NBC.
- 29:17Speaker 8: They're always bringing in new faces.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Look how they destroyed Dancing with the Stars.
- 29:22Speaker 8: That was such a great show, and then they kicked
- 29:24Speaker 8: off Tom bergeron I think Tyra Banks they brought in.
- 29:27Speaker 8: They wanted a personal color, they wanted a woman, they
- 29:30Speaker 8: wanted someone younger. These shows ain't broke when bosses start meddling.
- 29:35Speaker 8: And we've seen this in our careers that everybody else
- 29:37Speaker 8: is our friends. When bosses start meddling, it never turns
- 29:41Speaker 8: out well. My rule is, if it ain't broken, don't
- 29:44Speaker 8: fix it.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Rab Shooter, Hey, get his book. You love his book,
- 29:49Speaker 2: his new novel. It started with a whisper. And you
- 29:51Speaker 2: can follow him on substack naughty but nice as his substack.
- 29:55Speaker 2: What's the deal with Travis Kelcey. Now that they're married.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Together, they're still he's back at work. The training has begun,
- 30:05Speaker 3: so he's already back. She's laying there.
- 30:07Speaker 8: What Taylor's success has been over the last ten to
- 30:10Speaker 8: fifteen years is she knows and she's overexposed, and she disappears.
- 30:14Speaker 8: When celebrities pretend that they can't disappear, it's a lie.
- 30:18Speaker 8: They can. I've worked with them for a long time.
- 30:20Speaker 8: They get attention when they want attention. Jennifer Anderson, she
- 30:23Speaker 8: can disappear in LA when she don't.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Want us to see it. We don't see it.
- 30:27Speaker 8: Julia Roberts disappears, Sandra Bullard disappears. Taylor is feeling the
- 30:31Speaker 8: backlash from that wedding, that massive, ridiculous, kind of vulgar,
- 30:36Speaker 8: over the top wedding at Madison Square Garden. It was
- 30:39Speaker 8: not perceived the way that they wanted it to be perceived.
- 30:42Speaker 8: My sources are telling me they were stung by some
- 30:45Speaker 8: of the criticism. People are struggling, and they shut down
- 30:49Speaker 8: New York on the fourth of July weekend on a
- 30:51Speaker 8: major transit and there were above a major transit hub.
- 30:56Speaker 8: Everything about that wedding was odd, including the thousand people,
- 31:00Speaker 8: many of which they did not know. They're not close
- 31:03Speaker 8: with Robin Roberts or George Stephanopolis.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Know him, were you?
- 31:07Speaker 8: And so I think that backlash that has stung them
- 31:10Speaker 8: a little bit. He's back at work, but they're both
- 31:12Speaker 8: deliberately keeping a low profile. When you've got her money
- 31:16Speaker 8: and you've got private planes, you can disappear. So at
- 31:19Speaker 8: the moment she has done that, they have disappeared. I
- 31:22Speaker 8: don't think we'll see her for quite a while, and
- 31:24Speaker 8: I think, to be honest, it's probably a good thing.
- 31:26Speaker 8: I think everyone's sick of Taylor Swift at the minute.
- 31:28Speaker 8: She needs to lay low, and that's exactly what you're doing.
- 31:32Speaker 2: So people didn't like the wedding so much. You think
- 31:36Speaker 2: for a wedding, the perfect venue for a wedding is
- 31:39Speaker 2: not a basketball stadium. You think you.
- 31:45Speaker 3: That's a very funny question.
- 31:46Speaker 8: I would think you're readiness about love and commitment, not
- 31:50Speaker 8: Steven Spielberg sitting there on the front row looking, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 8: trying to.
- 31:53Speaker 3: Get a job. I just think it's so weird, you know.
- 31:57Speaker 8: I love the Gards and I've seen Billy Joel there,
- 31:59Speaker 8: We've seen concert there, We've seen great.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Sports and events that you ain't the first place that comes.
- 32:03Speaker 8: To mind when you think about an intimate romantic It
- 32:06Speaker 8: was rididulous. Everything about it was odd, and I think
- 32:10Speaker 8: that it was this step for Taylor.
- 32:13Speaker 3: She hasn't made many her fans love her, but you know,
- 32:17Speaker 3: she's always painted herself.
- 32:18Speaker 8: As the underdog, as a person that's on our side.
- 32:21Speaker 8: And I think she looked totally out of touch and
- 32:24Speaker 8: got stones like.
- 32:25Speaker 3: It was a bad look all the way around.
- 32:27Speaker 8: And Adam Sandler being the officians here, who are you?
- 32:32Speaker 3: It's just everything about it was stupid.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Hey, But the word was the reason she had all
- 32:36Speaker 2: these celebrities there and him doing the ceruma is that
- 32:39Speaker 2: the whole thing has been videotape for a Netflix special.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Do we know if that's happening.
- 32:45Speaker 3: We do know that it's been taped.
- 32:47Speaker 8: I know a couple of the camera men who were there,
- 32:49Speaker 8: and they're not videographers for weddings. This is not your
- 32:52Speaker 8: cousin Vinny with her camcorder. They're a professional, professional people
- 32:57Speaker 8: who work on morning shows, on evening shows. And these
- 32:59Speaker 8: were some of the best photographers, some of the best
- 33:01Speaker 8: camera people working today.
- 33:03Speaker 3: So it has been videos. The other thing too, about
- 33:06Speaker 3: that wedding.
- 33:07Speaker 8: Is that a lot of people felt as if it
- 33:09Speaker 8: was a branding experience rather than a wedding, and a
- 33:14Speaker 8: lot of it felt as if she was trying to
- 33:16Speaker 8: get him work. We know he's probably going to leave
- 33:19Speaker 8: the NFL after this season. It might be his last season.
- 33:22Speaker 8: He desperately wants to get involved in entertainment, and so
- 33:26Speaker 8: a lot of people at that wedding, I think we're
- 33:28Speaker 8: invited so that Travis could shmooter.
- 33:31Speaker 3: Them a little bit.
- 33:32Speaker 8: That's how Hollywood.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Works, Like, don't hate the game.
- 33:34Speaker 8: That is the game, and they play it really really hard,
- 33:38Speaker 8: getting connections, getting your foot in that door. And now
- 33:40Speaker 8: he is mister Taylor Swift. Everybody's going to take his call.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Wow, well, great stuff, brilliant as always. Robshooter great to
- 33:48Speaker 2: have an you on his substack is really good. Sign
- 33:51Speaker 2: up for a substack. Go to substack, Rob Shooter naughty
- 33:55Speaker 2: but nice. Sign up for a substack, and then get
- 33:57Speaker 2: his novel. What's the best place Go to Amazon and
- 34:00Speaker 2: get it.
- 34:01Speaker 8: Yeah, Amazon's the place. If you can pick it up
- 34:03Speaker 8: on Amazon. Lead a review. It's doing really well. Full
- 34:05Speaker 8: gossip colmpists get a morning shown and they.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Got in about celebrities, but they quickly realize the real
- 34:11Speaker 3: gossip is about themselves. Each of them has a secret.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yes, get the book. It's a new novel. It's called
- 34:16Speaker 2: It Started with a Whisper Rob Shooter. Get it on Amazon.
- 34:20Speaker 2: It started with a whisper Rob Shooter. Thanks for being
- 34:22Speaker 2: with us.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Great to see you. Get my friend take out, take.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Care, Talk to you soon.
- 34:28Speaker 5: Hey.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah, and Culters on vacation, should be back with us
- 34:30Speaker 2: next week. Don't forget at noon today Buck and Clay,
