- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Just after 6 o'clock on this Wednesday morning, Ricky Sanchez
- 0:06Speaker 3: has those three things presented by Mark Spain, Real Estate.
- 0:08Speaker 4: What's happening, Ricky?
- 0:09Speaker 5: The viral video of Charlie XCX's reaction to Taylor Swift at.
- 0:13Speaker 6: The VMAs is fake. So you may have seen this.
- 0:16Speaker 5: Video circulating online of Charlie XCX looking fake. Just unimpressed
- 0:21Speaker 5: while Taylor Swift was accepting her artist director award at
- 0:26Speaker 5: the VMAs.
- 0:27Speaker 6: But that clip, it now has over 300 million views.
- 0:30Speaker 4: It isn't real.
- 0:31Speaker 5: The footage of Charlie patting her knee in a form
- 0:34Speaker 5: of like applause was actually taken while Nirvana was accepting
- 0:38Speaker 5: their Video Vanguard award, not during Taylor's acceptance. Not that
- 0:42Speaker 5: there's anything wrong with the way that she was clapping,
- 0:44Speaker 5: but there is this ongoing idea that these two are
- 0:47Speaker 5: feuding and that they hate each other, that Charlie XCX
- 0:50Speaker 5: and Taylor Swift are just not friends. So this was
- 0:52Speaker 5: just edited to appear as if this is making it worse,
- 0:57Speaker 5: like that she really just does not like her.
- 1:00Speaker 6: None of it's actually real. It's all fake. Wanted to
- 1:03Speaker 6: make that known.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Over 3 million views is crazy on Twitter alone. So
- 1:07Speaker 5: people are really kind of eating this up and it's
- 1:09Speaker 5: just not real. A potential toxic algae warning is issued
- 1:14Speaker 5: for Centennial Park Pond.
- 1:16Speaker 6: This is pretty wild, but it happens, okay?
- 1:19Speaker 5: So state officials are testing the water and experts are
- 1:21Speaker 5: asking everyone to avoid any contact with the water until
- 1:24Speaker 5: results come back. That includes your pets. Keep them away
- 1:28Speaker 5: from the water as well. They're unsure what exactly is
- 1:31Speaker 5: floating on the surface. There's a possibility that it's blue-green algae.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Which is kind of dangerous. So it can release dangerous
- 1:39Speaker 6: toxins into the water.
- 1:40Speaker 5: So just avoid the pond. Make sure that your pets
- 1:44Speaker 5: are not near it. If you happen to be in
- 1:46Speaker 5: the park near the pond, you might notice a strong
- 1:49Speaker 5: odor coming from it. So if you see any like
- 1:52Speaker 5: animals near it, maybe shoo them away. We're trying to
- 1:55Speaker 5: figure out exactly what's going on. But, you know, a
- 1:57Speaker 5: pond is an ecosystem. So this kind of stuff does happen.
- 2:01Speaker 5: We're going to wait and see what experts say to
- 2:03Speaker 5: do next. And Dolly Parton, her cup of ambition coffee
- 2:07Speaker 5: has launched. The coffee launched nationwide yesterday for National Coffee Day.
- 2:12Speaker 5: It's an ode to her song, 9 to 5. A
- 2:15Speaker 5: press release says that the coffee line was, quote, a
- 2:18Speaker 5: dream of hers more than 40 years in the making.
- 2:22Speaker 5: The project is a collaboration with a family-owned roaster and distributor,
- 2:27Speaker 5: Community Coffee. Sales are going to support Dolly's Imagination Library,
- 2:31Speaker 5: which is amazing. You can shop the variations of coffee
- 2:34Speaker 5: and mugs that say Cup of Ambition, which is really cute.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You just go to cupofambition.com. They dropped some off yesterday
- 2:42Speaker 5: for us.
- 2:42Speaker 6: It's delightful. It smells amazing.
- 2:45Speaker 5: It smells exactly what you would think Dolly's Cup of
- 2:47Speaker 5: Ambition would smell like.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 6: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 2:52Speaker 6: need to know.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Thank you very much, Ricky. Have you heard?
- 2:56Speaker 3: Our Jingle Ball tickets are on sale now for Capital
- 2:58Speaker 3: One cardholders. It is coming up December 17th, 107.5 The Rivers.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Jingle Ball is happening. Nashville has never had a Jingle Ball.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Tons of great artists on this lineup. You can get
- 3:08Speaker 3: your tickets right now at 107.5theriver.com slash Capital One.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Get them before they're gone.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Get them before everyone else. Here's Taylor.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 3:18Speaker 5: It's Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning on 107.5
- 3:20Speaker 5: The River.
- 3:21Speaker 6: We've got Jade and Clarksville on the line. Good morning, Jade.
- 3:24Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 3:25Speaker 1: How are you?
- 3:26Speaker 6: We are fantastic. Jade, I have a question for you.
- 3:31Speaker 5: You're calling for these Preds versus the Dallas Stars tickets,
- 3:35Speaker 5: which means that you're a hockey fan.
- 3:37Speaker 6: I need to know if you would be willing to.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Strap a catfish to your body to sneak it into
- 3:43Speaker 5: the arena to throw it on the ice.
- 3:44Speaker 6: Like, are you that big of a fan? Um, well,
- 3:47Speaker 6: as a New Yorker, I grew up playing hockey and
- 3:51Speaker 6: going ice skating.
- 3:52Speaker 7: So, I mean, there's nothing I don't think I would do.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Okay. I like the answer. There's nothing I wouldn't do.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:59Speaker 5: I like it because I so badly want to throw
- 4:02Speaker 5: a catfish on that ice.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 6: I so badly want to do it. That sounds like
- 4:07Speaker 6: it would be engaging.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Right?
- 4:09Speaker 5: And, like, I'm 4'11, just to give you an idea, Jade. So,
- 4:11Speaker 5: I want the biggest catfish, like the size.
- 4:14Speaker 6: Of my body.
- 4:15Speaker 5: And I want to toss that thing onto the ice.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Ricky, you're going to have to have somebody pick you
- 4:19Speaker 4: up so that you can make it over the little plastic.
- 4:22Speaker 6: You have no faith in me.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Nope. Wow.
- 4:25Speaker 4: It's going to be a heavy fish. If it's that big, it's.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I think you can do it.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Thank you. At least Jade has some, you know, I
- 4:31Speaker 6: don't know, idea of what I can do. You guys
- 4:34Speaker 6: don't trust me at all.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I'm just looking out for you. Throw that thing up.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It's going to fall right back in your face. The
- 4:39Speaker 3: scales are going to be.
- 4:40Speaker 6: But also, how funny would that be?
- 4:42Speaker 4: Okay, do it. You're right. Yep. I will say, Jade,
- 4:46Speaker 4: I'm glad that you said as a New Yorker, because
- 4:47Speaker 4: I was going to ask where you're from, because I
- 4:49Speaker 4: love your accent. As soon as you answered the phone,
- 4:51Speaker 4: you sounded like Nanny Fran to me.
- 4:52Speaker 7: I think it's because I have a little bit of
- 4:56Speaker 7: a cold. I'm a teacher, and so my voice is
- 4:58Speaker 7: kind of going out. It's that time of year.
- 5:01Speaker 4: It is that time of year.
- 5:02Speaker 7: But yeah, I definitely have that New York thing.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I love it.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Also, thank you for what you do. Like we always say,
- 5:07Speaker 4: we love and appreciate our teachers so much. So thank
- 5:10Speaker 4: you for what you do.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Oh, thank you.
- 5:12Speaker 5: I really appreciate that.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'm on my way to work right now.
- 5:15Speaker 3: And we talk a lot about how hard it is
- 5:17Speaker 3: as a teacher. We rarely talk about how many germs
- 5:19Speaker 3: you're bringing home. And that's why you have your little
- 5:21Speaker 3: cold right now because you're around all those kids all
- 5:22Speaker 3: the time. I don't like that you said those kids.
- 5:27Speaker 6: It's true, though.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Honestly, my husband makes me sick probably four times a
- 5:32Speaker 5: year because of the kids.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Where do you teach? Give him a shout out.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Northeast High School.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Hey, Northeast High School. We haven't even told you yet
- 5:41Speaker 3: that you are the first caller of the day, so
- 5:43Speaker 3: you did get these tickets.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Wonderful.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Thank you so much.
- 5:46Speaker 1: My son's going to be so excited to go with me.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Oh, I love that. Hold is your son. 13.
- 5:52Speaker 7: He's the one who called in.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Strap a catfish to him. They're not going to pat
- 5:56Speaker 4: him down.
- 5:56Speaker 2: There you go.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Oh, absolutely.
- 5:58Speaker 5: He'd be ready.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 5:59Speaker 6: Unsuspecting child.
- 6:00Speaker 4: We're going to put you on hold to get all
- 6:03Speaker 4: your information.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Have a great day and have so much fun at
- 6:05Speaker 3: this game this weekend.
- 6:06Speaker 4: Thank you so much. We've got another chance tomorrow. Tomorrow
- 6:10Speaker 4: and Friday, more chances to win these.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 6:13Speaker 3: We all have Jingle Ball fever over here. It's 107.5
- 6:16Speaker 3: The River. The on-sale or the pre-sale is happening right now.
- 6:21Speaker 4: The Capital One cardholder pre-sale. You can buy your tickets
- 6:24Speaker 4: for 107.5 The River's Jingle Ball.
- 6:26Speaker 3: On our website, 107.5theriver.com slash Capital One. And Ricky mentioned
- 6:30Speaker 3: a second ago, she's been going to Jingle Ball since
- 6:32Speaker 3: she was a little baby.
- 6:33Speaker 5: Well, it was like the biggest thing ever and all
- 6:36Speaker 5: you ever wanted to do growing up in the tri-state
- 6:39Speaker 5: area of like New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut was
- 6:41Speaker 5: go to Jingle Ball because it was huge. I was
- 6:45Speaker 5: just looking through old videos and pictures of when I
- 6:48Speaker 5: worked at Jingle Ball in 2018, which Kevin said 10
- 6:52Speaker 5: plus years ago. It was almost 10 years ago.
- 6:56Speaker 4: It was only eight years, okay? Which is a long time. No,
- 6:59Speaker 4: we're going to say only.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But.
- 7:02Speaker 5: It's always so crazy to see where the artists end
- 7:05Speaker 5: up and the artists that play these things. Because Sabrina
- 7:08Speaker 5: Carpenter was there. And she was the last billing on.
- 7:12Speaker 6: This particular show.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Oh, she opened the show.
- 7:15Speaker 6: And now she's freaking Sabrina Carpenter.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 7:18Speaker 2: What?
- 7:19Speaker 5: I have videos of her just talking to me and
- 7:21Speaker 5: walking around backstage as if it's no big.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Deal by herself.
- 7:24Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 7:25Speaker 6: It's insane. Cardi B played that show.
- 7:27Speaker 5: Shawn Mendes, Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa. I have videos of
- 7:31Speaker 5: her just walking around, dancing, and just hanging out with everybody.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Would you mind sending me those videos?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Kevin.
- 7:38Speaker 6: You're so creepy, dude.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Well, I just want to do research.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Jingle Ball's been around forever.
- 7:45Speaker 3: It's an enormous IP, intellectual property, and it's coming to Nashville.
- 7:50Speaker 4: For the first time ever.
- 7:51Speaker 3: We are bringing it Alex Warren, Hilary Duff, Teddy Swims, OneRepublic, Nickelback,
- 7:55Speaker 3: and more.
- 7:56Speaker 4: And you don't know who's going to be there. Like
- 7:57Speaker 4: Ricky said, JYT is opening the show. They might be
- 8:00Speaker 4: the next One Direction.
- 8:01Speaker 6: You never know. Zach, you've never been to a Jingle Ball, though.
- 8:04Speaker 6: So what questions do you have?
- 8:05Speaker 5: What are you thinking about when it comes to Jingle
- 8:08Speaker 5: Ball that you just don't know what to expect?
- 8:10Speaker 4: Okay, so I've never been before, but how I'm relating
- 8:13Speaker 4: it in my head, the way that you just described
- 8:14Speaker 4: it of like the biggest thing up north, that's how
- 8:17Speaker 4: I kind of feel. I feel like it's a pop
- 8:18Speaker 4: version of like Bonnaroo, but inside with air conditioning. Like
- 8:22Speaker 4: every year, everybody gets excited for like Bonnaroo, the music festival.
- 8:25Speaker 4: This is kind of like a music festival because there's
- 8:27Speaker 4: so many artists all in one night. 100%.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Yeah, no, that's exactly what it's like.
- 8:32Speaker 5: And you just, like we said, never know who these
- 8:34Speaker 5: people are.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Going to end up being.
- 8:35Speaker 5: This may be the time that you see them before
- 8:37Speaker 5: they're anybody huge that you can't get.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Tickets to go see. It's pretty crazy to have all
- 8:43Speaker 6: these people under one roof one night.
- 8:45Speaker 4: I think my only question that I have is like, yeah,
- 8:47Speaker 4: I'm super excited for Hilary Duff, but how long does
- 8:50Speaker 4: each person get to play? Because there's so many people.
- 8:52Speaker 5: That is a great question, and that all depends on
- 8:54Speaker 5: each and every one.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Of these shows.
- 8:56Speaker 6: So I can't give you the exact time frame.
- 8:58Speaker 4: But enough time for me to enjoy the fact that
- 9:00Speaker 4: they're there. It's not like a couple songs or anything.
- 9:03Speaker 4: It's like you're going.
- 9:04Speaker 6: To get a song, and then it's like, okay, bye.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Hilary Duff.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I just wanted to make sure. No, for sure.
- 9:10Speaker 5: But that's not what it's like at all. You're going
- 9:12Speaker 5: to be able to sing and dance and have a
- 9:13Speaker 5: good time. with your favorite artists before the next artist
- 9:17Speaker 5: goes on.
- 9:18Speaker 6: And honestly, I will say, once you see these artists,
- 9:20Speaker 6: even if you're not the biggest Teddy.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Swims fan or a huge Nickelback fan, you may see
- 9:26Speaker 5: them perform live and go, wow. Because I wasn't a
- 9:29Speaker 5: big Calvin Harris fan, but in 2018, I saw the
- 9:31Speaker 5: Calvin Harris set and I.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Was like, Okay, I get it now.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Sure.
- 9:35Speaker 3: You go in, you're not a Nickelback fan, you leave,
- 9:36Speaker 3: they blow your hair back, you're the biggest fan on
- 9:38Speaker 3: the planet.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Get your tickets before they're gone.
- 9:40Speaker 3: With all of these people on the bill, they will
- 9:43Speaker 3: sell out. So if you're a Capital One cardholder, you
- 9:45Speaker 3: can get them right now at 107.5theriver.com.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Time's running out for you. I know, I know.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You only have until tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. to
- 9:51Speaker 3: take advantage of the pre-sale. So get them, get them,
- 9:54Speaker 3: get them. We will see you there December 17th. Also,
- 9:57Speaker 3: I will add that you can win them coming up
- 9:58Speaker 3: at 7.45.
- 9:59Speaker 4: At the Game of the Day. Yes, yes. Play that
- 10:01Speaker 4: and win them.
- 10:02Speaker 6: And all three of us will be there.
- 10:03Speaker 4: We're your hosts for the night.
- 10:05Speaker 6: So we're really excited to see you as well.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Shaking hands and kissing babies.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Why does he have to make everything weird?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Is that weird?
- 10:12Speaker 4: Yes, I don't want to kiss someone's baby.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:15Speaker 3: And just don't forget to send me those Dua Lipa videos.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 10:19Speaker 4: All right, all right, all right.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Good morning, friends.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Thanks for starting your Wednesday with us. It's just after seven.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Megan Thee Stallion, Tate McRae, Megan Maroney, and Cat's Eye
- 10:31Speaker 5: are all going to perform at this year's Victoria's Secret
- 10:33Speaker 5: Fashion Show. Kevin, don't open your mouth. On October 18th,
- 10:37Speaker 5: you can watch the show live on YouTube starting at 6.30 p.m.
- 10:41Speaker 6: Our time.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Performances are going to also be available on Victoria's Secret's
- 10:45Speaker 5: TikTok and their Instagram feeds as well. Megan Thee Stallion
- 10:49Speaker 5: posted about her part in the fashion show saying that
- 10:52Speaker 5: her dream has finally come true. This is a really
- 10:55Speaker 5: cool moment for people who obviously grow up wanting to
- 10:57Speaker 5: do this, like Megan Thee Stallion. So congrats to all
- 10:59Speaker 5: of them on being part of it. Vandy's new right
- 11:02Speaker 5: field facility at Hawkins Field is on track to open
- 11:05Speaker 5: in February with more ways for fans to enjoy a game.
- 11:08Speaker 5: So it's going to be ready just in time for
- 11:10Speaker 5: the Vandy baseball season. Construction started in 2025 to expand
- 11:15Speaker 5: the stadium's capacity and offer. more enhanced ways for the
- 11:18Speaker 5: game day experience to be enjoyed. So the new site
- 11:21Speaker 5: has more than 10,000 square feet. There's a new weight
- 11:25Speaker 5: room and pitching lab. New additions are expected to include
- 11:29Speaker 5: a party deck 360 bar located on.
- 11:31Speaker 6: The main concourse, which sounds pretty sick.
- 11:34Speaker 5: Also a 60 foot six bar on the upper concourse
- 11:37Speaker 5: for the fans enjoyment.
- 11:38Speaker 6: So it sounds really awesome. We're very excited about it.
- 11:40Speaker 4: It looks really cool.
- 11:41Speaker 6: All the renderings of it as well.
- 11:43Speaker 5: And the biggest hair trend this year for women is
- 11:46Speaker 5: the Bixie. So the Bixie is kind of a mashup
- 11:50Speaker 5: of a bob and a pixie cut, if you don't
- 11:52Speaker 5: know what it is. Stylists say it's becoming more and
- 11:54Speaker 5: more requested by everybody this year for their haircuts. Picture
- 11:59Speaker 5: 90s Winona Ryder, Cameron Diaz, Meg Ryan. They all kind
- 12:04Speaker 5: of rocked a Bixie at one point. That's the new
- 12:06Speaker 5: hairstyle that everybody's into. Shorter hair is very in right now.
- 12:10Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Need to know.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Good to know all of it. Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 12:15Speaker 3: I hope you are ready to learn because it's just
- 12:18Speaker 3: about time for Zach's Facts.
- 12:20Speaker 4: He's got his thinking cap on. Bringing us something good next.
- 12:23Speaker 2: On The River.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Class is in session.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 12:29Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Did you guys know that you are more likely to
- 12:33Speaker 4: die from a vending machine than from a shark? Apparently, statistically,
- 12:39Speaker 4: vending machines kill more people each year than sharks do.
- 12:42Speaker 4: So according to research data, roughly 2 to 13 deaths
- 12:46Speaker 4: per year just in the United States from vending machines.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Sharks cause an average of 5 to 10 unprovoked deaths
- 12:53Speaker 4: worldwide each year.
- 12:55Speaker 5: I didn't know that I should be afraid of vending
- 12:57Speaker 5: machines as well.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Most vending machines happen whenever a person tries to shake
- 13:01Speaker 4: or tilt a heavy machine because they can weigh up
- 13:04Speaker 4: to 900 pounds.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Don't do that.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Whenever you've got to shake it to get your snack out,
- 13:07Speaker 4: don't do it. It's not worth your $ 4 goldfish.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Don't forget about all the deaths linked to all the
- 13:12Speaker 3: sugary snacks in those vending machines, too.
- 13:15Speaker 2: This guy.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Okay.
- 13:16Speaker 6: Zero joy in his life.
- 13:17Speaker 4: And there's your fact of the day. Don't shake the
- 13:19Speaker 4: vending machine today at school, kids.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Be safe. 107.5 The River.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Good morning, friends. I need some help.
- 13:27Speaker 3: I know I'm a little bit older than Ricky and Zach, whatever.
- 13:30Speaker 3: But certain things just don't, they were never a part
- 13:33Speaker 3: of my life. Like soft launching a relationship.
- 13:36Speaker 4: What is that?
- 13:39Speaker 5: Oh, I mean, I think it really explains itself. Instead
- 13:42Speaker 5: of hard launching and just being like, this is my
- 13:44Speaker 5: boyfriend or girlfriend, you soft launch.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Why though? Kevin, there's so many reasons why. And Kevin
- 13:50Speaker 4: said they literally just changed their relationship status on Facebook.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 13:54Speaker 4: Oh, my God. That's so true.
- 13:56Speaker 6: We were part of that, though, too.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Yeah, at the beginning.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Yeah, at the beginning, for sure. I'll explain to you.
- 14:01Speaker 5: I soft-launched my relationship with my husband.
- 14:03Speaker 4: With AJ?
- 14:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Explain it to those of us that just don't understand.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Taylor swims on 107.5 The River.
- 14:12Speaker 5: He's playing our first ever jingle ball on December 17th
- 14:15Speaker 5: at Bridgestone Arena. If you have a Capital One card,
- 14:18Speaker 5: you have a chance to get tickets before anybody else.
- 14:20Speaker 5: And time is running out. You only have 48 hours
- 14:22Speaker 5: to get these tickets. Go to 107.5theriver.com slash Capital One.
- 14:26Speaker 5: It started yesterday morning, so get them before they're gone.
- 14:30Speaker 4: They are going to go fast, man. It's a big show.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Kevin, we're going to have a little bit of a.
- 14:35Speaker 5: lesson here on soft launching because Kevin doesn't understand what
- 14:38Speaker 5: soft launching.
- 14:39Speaker 3: A relationship is explain it to the old man here
- 14:41Speaker 3: why you would even need to do it I just
- 14:44Speaker 3: don't get any of it so.
- 14:45Speaker 5: A hard launch is when you're basically out of nowhere
- 14:48Speaker 5: out of the blue this is my girlfriend this is
- 14:51Speaker 5: my boyfriend this is the person that I am in
- 14:53Speaker 5: a relationship with out of nowhere you post about them
- 14:55Speaker 5: And obviously people who don't see you all.
- 14:57Speaker 6: The time are like, whoa, where'd they come from?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 5: A soft launch is either, you know, you post maybe
- 15:03Speaker 5: their hands and you're on a date holding hands. Or
- 15:07Speaker 5: you post flowers that.
- 15:10Speaker 6: You received from this person.
- 15:11Speaker 4: So is it to build anticipation? Is it to get
- 15:14Speaker 4: people asking questions?
- 15:14Speaker 5: It's to give you an idea that somebody's dating somebody
- 15:16Speaker 5: without shoving it in.
- 15:17Speaker 6: Your face right away.
- 15:18Speaker 4: I also think that I like the idea of it
- 15:20Speaker 4: because it's kind of like... When you don't know if
- 15:23Speaker 4: the pool is cold or not, you start with just
- 15:24Speaker 4: your feet. So you've got to like slowly go into it.
- 15:27Speaker 6: There you go.
- 15:28Speaker 4: That way, because if it doesn't work out, you're not like,
- 15:31Speaker 4: oh God, now everybody knows who my boyfriend is. One
- 15:33Speaker 4: week later, they just disappear off your Instagram. So it's
- 15:35Speaker 4: because you doubt the relationship. That's why you do it.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Not because you doubt the relationship, but because it's new.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 5: And if you're anything like us, I'm speaking for Zach
- 15:45Speaker 5: here because I know that he's like this as well.
- 15:47Speaker 5: When somebody pops up out of nowhere with someone, you go, oh,
- 15:50Speaker 5: I'm so happy for you.
- 15:51Speaker 6: And then when they disappear, you're like, wait a minute,
- 15:53Speaker 6: what happened?
- 15:53Speaker 4: Yeah, where'd they go? Tell me everything.
- 15:55Speaker 6: I want to know all the details.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Even though it's none of my business to know all
- 15:58Speaker 5: the details, I want to know all of the details.
- 16:00Speaker 5: So if you soft launch, there's nothing actually confirmed about
- 16:04Speaker 5: the relationship.
- 16:05Speaker 6: I soft launched AJ.
- 16:06Speaker 4: Hold on. I want to hear that story. But like,
- 16:09Speaker 4: I feel like posting just somebody's hands like we're holding
- 16:12Speaker 4: hands like that's like leaving like a vague status update.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Like you're just like you're fishing for people asking questions.
- 16:19Speaker 4: That's what it seems like to me. I feel like
- 16:20Speaker 4: it's kind of like the thing of the friend that
- 16:22Speaker 4: you don't see all the time. You're like, oh, good.
- 16:23Speaker 4: They're dating somebody until they finally announce who it is.
- 16:26Speaker 4: Like it gives you an idea, an update on their life. OK,
- 16:29Speaker 4: how did you soft launch AJ?
- 16:31Speaker 6: In a very different way.
- 16:33Speaker 5: When I met AJ, I had a podcast, 20-somethings doing
- 16:36Speaker 5: nothing is what it was called.
- 16:37Speaker 6: And I didn't want to say his name on.
- 16:41Speaker 5: The podcast because he's a very private person.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Not so much anymore.
- 16:45Speaker 5: He was a very private person when I first met him.
- 16:50Speaker 5: While I signed up to tell everybody about my life
- 16:53Speaker 5: and to be very open and honest about it, he didn't.
- 16:55Speaker 5: So when we first started dating, I was talking about
- 16:58Speaker 5: our dates that we were going on, but not.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Saying his name. So his name was Steve on the podcast. Yep,
- 17:05Speaker 6: his name was Steve. We never referred to him as AJ.
- 17:08Speaker 5: I still have people who listen to this show because
- 17:11Speaker 5: of my podcast that still call him Steve to this day.
- 17:13Speaker 6: We are married at this point.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I'm going to start calling him Steve.
- 17:16Speaker 6: I have a cousin who still calls him Steve. We
- 17:19Speaker 6: are married now.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Do you ever call him Steve? No. Oh, I want
- 17:22Speaker 4: to call him Steve too.
- 17:23Speaker 6: Not anymore.
- 17:23Speaker 2: That's so funny.
- 17:24Speaker 5: But that was my version of soft launching him because
- 17:26Speaker 5: I didn't want to say his name.
- 17:29Speaker 6: Put his business out there. And then if we didn't
- 17:30Speaker 6: work out, then his business is out there.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 4: No, I think it's fair and respectful.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 17:36Speaker 6: Now his business is everywhere because he married me.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Stop saying his business.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 17:43Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 17:45Speaker 5: If you want to go to the first ever 107.5.
- 17:48Speaker 6: The River Jingle Ball, we got your.
- 17:50Speaker 5: Tickets with Kevin Mano's Game of the Day presented by
- 17:52Speaker 5: Genesis Diamonds. We're playing two seconds of Jingle Ball for
- 17:56Speaker 5: Jingle Ball.
- 17:57Speaker 6: Tickets to see Alex Warren, Hilary.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Dove, Teddy Swims, OneRepublic, Nickelback, Stella Lefty, The Beaches, and JYT.
- 18:04Speaker 3: It's very important that you just paid attention to Ricky
- 18:06Speaker 3: when she gave you the lineup of the show because
- 18:08Speaker 3: you need to know those artists.
- 18:09Speaker 4: I'm going to play you two.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Different clips, very short clips of songs from Jingle Ball artists, okay?
- 18:15Speaker 4: One second each.
- 18:16Speaker 3: That's why we're calling it Two Seconds of Jingle Ball.
- 18:19Speaker 3: You have to call us and identify both songs if
- 18:21Speaker 3: you want to win these tickets.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Once you hear the clue, it's 615-737-9107. Here we go.
- 18:24Speaker 4: Today's two-second audio clip. Here we go. Here it is.
- 18:32Speaker 4: Did I tell you I'm on a train?
- 18:36Speaker 3: Did I tell you I'm on a train?
- 18:38Speaker 5: Kevin's making it so that it's an actual sentence from
- 18:42Speaker 5: both clips, and you did a good job.
- 18:43Speaker 2: There, Kev.
- 18:44Speaker 3: If you can identify both of those songs, 615-737-9107, you
- 18:46Speaker 3: are going to Jingle Ball December 17th.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Here it is one more time. Hold on.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Did I tell you? Let's go. It's game time, baby.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 18:59Speaker 5: It's 107.5 The River. We're about to get into Kevin
- 19:02Speaker 5: Mano's game of the day for tickets to our first
- 19:05Speaker 5: ever Jingle Ball presented by Capital One.
- 19:07Speaker 6: We are so excited. It's going to be at Bridgestone
- 19:09Speaker 6: Arena December 17th. We've got Daphne and Antioch.
- 19:12Speaker 1: On the line.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Good morning, Daphne.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Hi, how are you?
- 19:15Speaker 4: We're good. Good to have you. Daphne's a great name.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Who are you named after?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 19:20Speaker 7: I'm named after the figure in Greek mythology. She turned
- 19:22Speaker 7: into a tree.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Very cool.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Curious.
- 19:25Speaker 4: No, she turned into a tree.
- 19:28Speaker 3: We don't have time to dig into that story, but
- 19:30Speaker 3: did you hear.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Our two-second clue a moment ago? I did. Okay, it's
- 19:35Speaker 4: two seconds of Jingle Ball. That's the game.
- 19:37Speaker 3: We are playing two seconds of songs. One second, one
- 19:40Speaker 3: second combined. You have to identify who is the artist,
- 19:43Speaker 3: what is the song. If you can do that right,
- 19:45Speaker 3: you're going to join us on December 17th for the
- 19:47Speaker 3: Jingle Ball. Daphne, I'm going to play it for you
- 19:48Speaker 3: one more time, okay?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:50Speaker 4: All right. For tickets to this year's biggest show, Daphne,
- 19:56Speaker 4: can you name those?
- 19:58Speaker 7: Yeah, first one is Lose Control by Teddy Swims. And
- 20:00Speaker 7: the second one is I Like It When You're Nice
- 20:03Speaker 7: to Me by... Oh, crap.
- 20:08Speaker 4: We're just going to stop here.
- 20:08Speaker 6: It's not Ella Langley.
- 20:09Speaker 4: We're going to stop you right there because that's not correct.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not the name of the song. I'm so sorry.
- 20:18Speaker 6: Have a great day, love.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Bye.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Bye, Daphne. Try again tomorrow.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Ariana in hermitage is on the line now daphne uh
- 20:27Speaker 3: just played and she did not correctly identify the songs
- 20:29Speaker 3: i'm gonna play it for you one more time okay.
- 20:31Speaker 5: Ariana okay sounds good kevin all right here we.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Go did i tell you i'm on a train did
- 20:38Speaker 4: i tell you i'm on a train can you name
- 20:39Speaker 4: those songs.
- 20:42Speaker 7: The first one is going to be Teddy Swims, Lose Control.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:47Speaker 7: And the second one is Boston by Stella Lepke.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Yay!
- 20:51Speaker 4: Let's go!
- 20:55Speaker 2: Yay!
- 20:56Speaker 4: Congratulations, Ariana. We're going to see you December 17th.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Thank you guys so much.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Oh, my gosh. We're on the way to school, and
- 21:03Speaker 4: my daughter goes, Mommy, we have to play. You've gotten
- 21:05Speaker 4: them right every single day. We have to.
- 21:08Speaker 1: We have to. Keep calling.
- 21:09Speaker 6: And this is our magical day. Thank you guys for
- 21:13Speaker 6: starting up our day.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Amazing.
- 21:16Speaker 4: You're literally the cutest thing on the entire planet. I'm
- 21:19Speaker 4: so happy.
- 21:20Speaker 6: I felt so bad for Daphne because Daphne tried before
- 21:23Speaker 6: you and she lost. But Ariana, we are so, so,
- 21:25Speaker 6: so excited for you.
- 21:27Speaker 5: You're going to see Alex Warren, Hilary Dove, Teddy Swims, OneRepublic, Nickelback,
- 21:31Speaker 5: Stella Lefty, The Beaches, and JYT with.
- 21:34Speaker 6: Us at our first ever Jingle Ball here in Nashville.
- 21:37Speaker 7: Oh, we can't wait. We're so excited.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I love that you called it your magical day. You
- 21:41Speaker 4: guys are awesome. We're going to put you on hold
- 21:42Speaker 4: to get all your info, okay?
- 21:44Speaker 2: Thanks, Kevin.
- 21:45Speaker 4: Thank you. She kept using my name. That was very lovely.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I liked it.
- 21:48Speaker 6: I saw you smile, and I was like, oh, he's
- 21:50Speaker 6: so happy.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Here we go. Ricky Sanchez is standing by with those
- 21:57Speaker 4: three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate. What's happening, Ricky?
- 22:00Speaker 5: Fans were absolutely shocked last night. by the elimination that
- 22:03Speaker 5: happened on Dancing with the Stars. If you haven't watched
- 22:06Speaker 5: it and you don't want spoilers, turn down your radio
- 22:08Speaker 5: for like.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Five seconds, okay? Taylor Hansen.
- 22:12Speaker 4: He was eliminated.
- 22:13Speaker 1: What?
- 22:13Speaker 6: I know.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Him and his dance partner, Britt Stewart, danced a foxtrot
- 22:18Speaker 5: to What a Fool Believes by the Doobie Brothers for
- 22:21Speaker 5: Yacht Rock Night. And they scored an 18. The competition
- 22:25Speaker 5: is now down to 12. And next week is all
- 22:27Speaker 5: about Mariah Carey. So the couples are going to perform
- 22:30Speaker 5: to a bunch of her biggest hits. Everybody was shocked.
- 22:33Speaker 5: I see it all over social media.
- 22:35Speaker 6: They can't believe it.
- 22:36Speaker 4: They can't believe it.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Prickly pear coffee is getting in the fall spirit by
- 22:41Speaker 5: hosting coffee with Luke Scott Patterson, who plays Luke on
- 22:45Speaker 5: Gilmore girls is going to transform prickly pear coffee to
- 22:48Speaker 5: Luke's diner for an intimate, immersive experience for fans. Tickets
- 22:51Speaker 5: are on sale now. They include entry, a Q &
- 22:54Speaker 5: A story time with Scott Patterson, your choice of coffee,
- 22:58Speaker 5: a guided Gilmore Girls inspired cookie decorating class from Doodle
- 23:02Speaker 5: and Doe, and a session in their new photo booth.
- 23:05Speaker 5: You can go to pricklypearcoffee.com for all the info.
- 23:09Speaker 6: And Kevin, I thought of you.
- 23:11Speaker 5: The Oasis documentary finally has a release date. Oasis Don't
- 23:16Speaker 5: Look Back in Anger is going to start streaming on
- 23:18Speaker 5: Disney Plus and Hulu starting October 9th.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Which is really soon.
- 23:22Speaker 5: The documentary film covered the band's reunion tour, Oasis Live 25,
- 23:26Speaker 5: and also has a bunch of behind-the-scenes looks, unseen footage
- 23:30Speaker 5: that you can see during, obviously, a really huge moment.
- 23:33Speaker 6: This reunion was massive for pop culture.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Great way for you to be a part of it
- 23:37Speaker 5: from the comfort of your couch if you couldn't actually
- 23:39Speaker 5: see them get together.
- 23:41Speaker 6: Um, so yeah, October 9th, you can start streaming it.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Good to know.
- 23:44Speaker 6: I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three things.
- 23:46Speaker 1: You need to know.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I just, I spend all day watching siblings fight my children.
- 23:50Speaker 4: I don't know if I did. Put it on the
- 23:52Speaker 4: TV and watch siblings fight.
- 23:53Speaker 6: But it's Oasis.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 23:57Speaker 5: We want to make a decision for you. It's Ricky, Zach,
- 24:00Speaker 5: and Mano in the morning on 107.5 The River. We
- 24:03Speaker 5: make so many decisions every day. It's really easy to
- 24:06Speaker 5: have decision fatigue because just of food-based decisions alone, we
- 24:11Speaker 5: make 226 decisions a day on food.
- 24:14Speaker 4: That's nuts. That's exhausting.
- 24:15Speaker 6: It's absolutely exhausting.
- 24:17Speaker 5: And we're going to start with me because I'm exhausted
- 24:19Speaker 5: for making decisions.
- 24:20Speaker 6: I want you guys to help me out.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Here, okay?
- 24:22Speaker 3: This is very bold of you to come to Zach
- 24:24Speaker 3: and I to help you make a decision.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I know, and I feel like I'm going to regret it.
- 24:28Speaker 4: I don't think you're feeling okay today, but go for it.
- 24:32Speaker 6: OK, I have a wedding this weekend.
- 24:34Speaker 4: OK, shocker, guys.
- 24:36Speaker 6: Big shocker. But this one is different.
- 24:39Speaker 5: It's not an actual wedding wedding with the ceremony and
- 24:41Speaker 5: the reception.
- 24:42Speaker 6: The ceremony already happened. My friend already eloped. This is
- 24:46Speaker 6: just the reception part.
- 24:47Speaker 5: So just a big party together, all loved ones to
- 24:50Speaker 5: dance and sing and do all those things and have
- 24:52Speaker 5: a good night, drink and eat.
- 24:54Speaker 6: I don't know what to wear. I have two options. OK,
- 24:58Speaker 6: two options here.
- 24:59Speaker 5: I have a green dress, and I'm talking like very
- 25:02Speaker 5: green dress that's flowy, it's comfy, and it's like, Kevin's
- 25:07Speaker 5: not going to know what this means, but it's a
- 25:08Speaker 5: tiered dress.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:10Speaker 6: So it's very flowy, very comfy, bright green though, okay?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Sounds like a Christmas tree, to be honest with you,
- 25:16Speaker 3: with the tiers and the bright green.
- 25:18Speaker 4: You're not wrong, Kevin.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Or, I'm already regretting this, I have a classic black
- 25:24Speaker 5: dress that I can wear, but it's still a little dramatic.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Like the bottom part, I wore it to one of
- 25:30Speaker 5: my friend's weddings a year ago, and the bottom part
- 25:33Speaker 5: flares out a bit.
- 25:34Speaker 6: So it's a little more dramatic, but it's also very comfy.
- 25:37Speaker 6: They said for everyone to be comfy on the invite.
- 25:40Speaker 6: It said cocktail attire, comfy shoes, be ready to like
- 25:43Speaker 6: dance and have fun.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I feel like this is such an easy decision for me,
- 25:47Speaker 4: for you. The green one.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:50Speaker 4: The green one. Duh. I was going to say the
- 25:52Speaker 4: black one without a doubt. Oh my God. This is terrible.
- 25:55Speaker 4: This is terrible. Just hear me out. I say the
- 25:57Speaker 4: green one because the ceremony is already over. Like you're
- 26:00Speaker 4: not sitting there through like a very proper ceremony. You're
- 26:02Speaker 4: going there just to party. So you have to wear
- 26:05Speaker 4: the most fun outfit. Okay. That's what I'm thinking. And
- 26:09Speaker 4: it's more comfortable so you can break it down, dance.
- 26:12Speaker 6: Break it down.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Break it down.
- 26:13Speaker 3: But you're going to look like a Christmas tree. You
- 26:16Speaker 3: don't want to look like a Christmas tree. And I
- 26:18Speaker 3: think being comfortable is more important than having a fun
- 26:21Speaker 3: party dress.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Which one is more comfortable?
- 26:24Speaker 2: The black one.
- 26:24Speaker 4: The green one. The green one. Oh, I thought you
- 26:25Speaker 4: said the.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Wait.
- 26:26Speaker 6: The black one is comfortable. The black one is comfortable.
- 26:28Speaker 6: But more comfortable is the green one.
- 26:30Speaker 5: I'm also realizing this is why you don't ask street
- 26:32Speaker 5: men any advice about fashion.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Heaven.
- 26:37Speaker 3: My real decision is for you to go to whatever
- 26:40Speaker 3: store you go to to get a dress because neither
- 26:43Speaker 3: of those are good options.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Wow.
- 26:45Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Well, this is also why we have three of us
- 26:47Speaker 5: that make decisions on here.
- 26:48Speaker 6: We're going to make a decision for you.
- 26:49Speaker 4: 615-737-9107.
- 26:52Speaker 5: If you have something that you don't want to make
- 26:54Speaker 5: a decision about, whether it's what to make for dinner
- 26:56Speaker 5: tonight or what to wear to an event, whatever it
- 27:00Speaker 5: may be, we're going to help you make a decision
- 27:01Speaker 5: and an actual definitive one because.
- 27:03Speaker 4: There's three of us. That's right, Christmas tree.
- 27:05Speaker 1: 615-737-9107.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Big or small, we want to make a decision for you.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 27:12Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 27:13Speaker 3: We are making decisions for you over here at 107.5
- 27:17Speaker 3: The River. A regular human being makes like thousands of
- 27:21Speaker 3: decisions every day. All these little micro decisions about what
- 27:24Speaker 3: to eat and everything. So we want to help you out.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Alyssa in Hendersonville is on the phone right now. Alyssa,
- 27:29Speaker 3: how can we help? What decision would you like.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Us to make?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:33Speaker 7: I don't know what to do for fall break.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:37Speaker 6: When is fall break for you, Alyssa?
- 27:39Speaker 7: Um, sometime in October, but my birthday is also in October.
- 27:44Speaker 7: I also don't know what to do for my birthday
- 27:46Speaker 7: because my son's birthday is five days before.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Mine this is a lot oh dang do you like
- 27:52Speaker 4: to travel i do what what kind of vacation do
- 27:56Speaker 4: you enjoy do you like like a beach or a
- 27:58Speaker 4: mountain or like a big city like what kind of
- 28:01Speaker 4: vacation do you want.
- 28:01Speaker 6: A mountain just one small mountain hiking like a nature trail.
- 28:05Speaker 7: Or go to the mountain um i think i like
- 28:10Speaker 7: mountains more than beaches i don't like the heat i'm so.
- 28:14Speaker 6: Ready for the Sure, that makes sense.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Well, how many family members? Can we ask that? How
- 28:18Speaker 4: many family members are we talking about here?
- 28:20Speaker 1: Six.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Six, oh my gosh.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Oh, there's six of you, Alyssa?
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Dang. Okay.
- 28:27Speaker 5: I mean, if you like the mountains, you're in the
- 28:29Speaker 5: perfect spot here in Nashville. We're so close to so
- 28:32Speaker 5: many different areas that you can go to that have
- 28:33Speaker 5: the mountains that also have a little bit of, you know,
- 28:37Speaker 5: like not a city per se, but an area that
- 28:40Speaker 5: you can go and eat and hang out and shop
- 28:43Speaker 5: and things like that.
- 28:44Speaker 6: I mean, my thought process immediately went to Chattanooga.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I love Chattanooga. You can go to Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain.
- 28:50Speaker 4: Like there's so much to do down there.
- 28:52Speaker 7: I love the aquarium, too.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Okay, so you've been.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:56Speaker 7: Yeah, I love Chattanooga. I think I've been to, like,
- 28:59Speaker 7: so many different places in Tennessee now. I don't know
- 29:02Speaker 7: whether to branch out to a different state.
- 29:05Speaker 6: I get that.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Alyssa, I think also a really good idea within driving range, Asheville,
- 29:09Speaker 4: North Carolina.
- 29:10Speaker 6: Asheville's really cute.
- 29:12Speaker 4: I've not been there. okay where haven't you been i
- 29:16Speaker 4: love it you are a travel aficionado we're.
- 29:19Speaker 3: Gonna find a place you haven't been so you can
- 29:21Speaker 3: experience something new but i say you just get an
- 29:22Speaker 3: airbnb for all six of you have one joint birthday
- 29:26Speaker 3: party for the two of you and just make a
- 29:27Speaker 3: week out of it yep okay.
- 29:29Speaker 5: That's so smart that's the first time kevin's ever been
- 29:33Speaker 5: called smart on.
- 29:33Speaker 6: The show this.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Is impressive and because also i agree with him.
- 29:38Speaker 6: And i agree with you that is a smart.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Idea the dress thing though i feel like we need
- 29:43Speaker 7: to circle back to that though i feel like wedding
- 29:47Speaker 7: wise black isn't really a go-to but also the green
- 29:52Speaker 7: seems like Very vibrant-y. Like, I feel like it'd be
- 29:55Speaker 7: fun if it's, like, vibrant.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:00Speaker 5: It's pretty vibrant, though, Alyssa. But I feel like because
- 30:02Speaker 5: it's the party part, that's okay.
- 30:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:04Speaker 3: I think it's good. I think we have officially made
- 30:07Speaker 3: Ricky's decision, too. You're wearing the green dress to the wedding.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Okay. Green dress it is.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Done deal. So many decisions made.
- 30:13Speaker 4: Look at us go. Thank you for calling. Have a
- 30:16Speaker 4: great fall break, and happy early birthday.
- 30:18Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Bye, love. Happy Jingle Ball.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Oh, thanks. Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 4: We'll see you at Jingle Ball. Sometimes you just got
- 30:27Speaker 4: to talk this stuff through.
- 30:28Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 30:28Speaker 4: We got there. We figured it all out. Thank God. Shockingly,
- 30:31Speaker 4: Kevin had the best idea.
- 30:32Speaker 6: I don't even know what to say.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I have no words.
- 30:35Speaker 2: 107.5, The River.
- 30:37Speaker 3: It's time for the Daily Double Tap, which is something
- 30:40Speaker 3: we do every day about this time. We play some
- 30:41Speaker 3: audio from a video. Ricky found this one because she
- 30:44Speaker 3: hates running.
- 30:45Speaker 5: I have flat feet and I have arthritis. I think
- 30:48Speaker 5: running is the worst possible thing ever. And I genuinely
- 30:51Speaker 5: am at the point in my life where I enjoy fitness.
- 30:53Speaker 6: I just hate running.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yep.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Do you really have arthritis? Or is that just an
- 30:57Speaker 4: excuse to not run?
- 30:58Speaker 6: I have Lyme disease and arthritis throughout my entire body.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 31:01Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I asked.
- 31:02Speaker 4: You're right. I take it all back.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:05Speaker 5: Here we go.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Today's Daily Double Tap.
- 31:06Speaker 8: I don't care how hard life get. I am not
- 31:09Speaker 8: getting into running. See, some people go through one traumatic
- 31:11Speaker 8: experience and all of a sudden they marathon runners and
- 31:14Speaker 8: they've been running 10 miles since Sunday. See, there's a
- 31:16Speaker 8: difference between me and you because you get dumped. You
- 31:19Speaker 8: getting up at 530 in the morning to go run.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I get dumped.
- 31:22Speaker 8: I'm just ordering food and watching a damn movie.
- 31:25Speaker 4: I'm fine. Some of y'all take things to the extreme.
- 31:27Speaker 4: I don't think that's necessary. It's fun.
- 31:29Speaker 3: It's nice to get out there, get some fresh air,
- 31:31Speaker 3: especially those early 530 in the morning runs when there's
- 31:34Speaker 3: some crisp air out there.
- 31:36Speaker 4: You know, you can just go for a walk. You
- 31:38Speaker 4: don't have to run.
- 31:40Speaker 3: There's like there really is something to the runner's high.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Like it feels good. It feels much different than taking
- 31:45Speaker 3: a walk.
- 31:45Speaker 4: There is also like scientific research behind how bad running
- 31:49Speaker 4: is for your body and your joints. It's so bad.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Your body just pounding on the concrete. So bad for you. Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 4: I think it's better than just sitting on the couch
- 31:57Speaker 4: like this guy ordering food, watching a movie all the time.
- 31:59Speaker 4: I think that's so much better.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 32:00Speaker 5: How dare anybody enjoy their life the way that they
- 32:03Speaker 5: want to by eating food on the couch?
- 32:04Speaker 4: Are you not saying the same thing about me? How
- 32:06Speaker 4: dare anybody enjoy their life by running? No, you do.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Hey.
- 32:09Speaker 6: I'm just never going to do it.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Okay. I'm not trying to talk you into doing it.
- 32:12Speaker 4: I'm just trying to defend the runners.
- 32:13Speaker 6: It seems like you're trying to talk us into doing it.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Just go for a run with me.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 32:16Speaker 4: We're going in circles now.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Just one run.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Let's go right now. All right, there's today's Daily Doubletape.
- 32:21Speaker 3: It always ends in a fight somehow, the Daily Doubletape.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
