- 0:56Speaker 8: Good.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Love it.
- 0:57Speaker 6: Midweek. Dude, the first weekend in a long time, there's
- 1:01Speaker 6: nothing going on.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Happens this weekend.
- 1:04Speaker 6: So as we get closer to that, the more excited
- 1:06Speaker 6: I'm becoming. Yeah, that's the best thing ever. Not that
- 1:07Speaker 6: I haven't had fun doing things. You know, we've been busy. Yeah,
- 1:10Speaker 6: but you've earned it. Yeah, to have like a whole
- 1:12Speaker 6: weekend of nothing.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Lay it on me.
- 1:14Speaker 9: Awesome.
- 1:14Speaker 6: So we get close to that. It's the meeting of life.
- 1:16Speaker 6: It is Wednesday. My name is Woody. That is Greg Gorey.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Hi, Woody.
- 1:20Speaker 6: We got Menace. Gina Grad is here. We got Seabass.
- 1:23Speaker 6: We got Sammy.
- 1:23Speaker 10: Hello.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Jeff G is here. We got Dumbass Tyler. We got Morgan.
- 1:28Speaker 6: There is Bort and Menji. And Vaughn, our video producer.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Phones are open.
- 1:32Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:32Speaker 6: You can send us a text. Check in over to 22987.
- 1:34Speaker 6: We'll get to the birthdays. and the porno birthday here
- 1:43Speaker 6: in just a moment. But today for Greg, people were
- 1:46Speaker 6: asked about their favorite fall activities.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Oh God.
- 1:49Speaker 6: So I want to know here, I'm going to give
- 1:51Speaker 6: you the list and you look over those and you
- 1:54Speaker 6: tell me which ones you hate the most. Because as
- 1:56Speaker 6: you know, Greg, Greg doesn't like fall. He says, if
- 1:58Speaker 6: you get excited for fall, it's gay.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Yeah. And girly.
- 2:02Speaker 6: It's girls and gay guys who get excited for fall.
- 2:06Speaker 6: So of the things that are on that list, these
- 2:09Speaker 6: are all things that people look forward to with fall.
- 2:11Speaker 6: A lot of things are getting crossed out. The ones
- 2:14Speaker 6: I hate the most, you said, right? Yeah, what do
- 2:16Speaker 6: you think are the biggest offenders that get you the
- 2:18Speaker 6: biggest eye roll?
- 2:19Speaker 5: Okay, so browsing this quickly, dress up in a Halloween costume,
- 2:25Speaker 5: hate it.
- 2:27Speaker 6: Like even going to a party where there's a costume party?
- 2:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I hate that, and my number one pet peeve
- 2:33Speaker 5: is when you act out your costume.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Oh, like you get in character.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Are you six years old?
- 2:40Speaker 6: I'm a vampire.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:42Speaker 6: Well, kids do that in elementary school. Like they have
- 2:46Speaker 6: to assume the identity of a historical figure.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Yes.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Like my daughter did. She was Sally Ride. Oh, the astronaut.
- 2:52Speaker 6: She goes, hi, I'm Sally Ride. I was the first blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:55Speaker 6: And she had to do the whole spiel when people
- 2:56Speaker 6: would walk up to her and she had to introduce
- 2:58Speaker 6: herself and give a little history.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Yeah, same kind of thing.
- 3:00Speaker 10: That's what that's for.
- 3:01Speaker 6: Except I'm a sexy tube of toothpaste.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Also on my list, you know how Menace says like
- 3:06Speaker 5: in the old timey days, they went to opera and
- 3:08Speaker 5: stuff because that's all they had.
- 3:10Speaker 10: They didn't have options.
- 3:11Speaker 5: That's why this is on my list. Visit a pumpkin patch.
- 3:15Speaker 5: We have stores now. We don't need a pumpkin patch.
- 3:19Speaker 8: And by the way, the pumpkin patches aren't pumpkin patches.
- 3:21Speaker 8: They are a field they cleared and just laid out pumpkins.
- 3:25Speaker 10: Pumpkins weren't grown there.
- 3:26Speaker 7: Don't spoil it, see that?
- 3:28Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 3:28Speaker 10: That's an Instagram worthy experience.
- 3:30Speaker 6: There's one out kind of by my house. They've got
- 3:33Speaker 6: like a little pyramid they built out of bales of hay.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Yeah. And kids can climb on it.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And you're right.
- 3:38Speaker 6: They're just kind of scattered pumpkins about.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:40Speaker 1: It's not a patch.
- 3:41Speaker 6: It's not a pumpkin patch. It's a dump truck.
- 3:43Speaker 5: It's the ground.
- 3:44Speaker 10: And they're really expensive.
- 3:46Speaker 5: And then take a kid trick-or-treating. That's on my list.
- 3:48Speaker 5: I hate that here.
- 3:51Speaker 6: I hate fun.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Especially when the kid is like a baby, like an
- 3:54Speaker 5: actual baby. You're doing that for yourself.
- 3:57Speaker 10: That's like bringing a baby to a theme park.
- 3:59Speaker 6: I get that.
- 3:59Speaker 5: And then I'll put consume pumpkin-flavored stuff as one of
- 4:03Speaker 5: the top offenders here. That is so overrated. So boring.
- 4:07Speaker 10: What about pumpkin pie?
- 4:08Speaker 5: Pumpkin pie? Fine.
- 4:09Speaker 6: But I think that's more Thanksgiving, right?
- 4:12Speaker 5: Thanksgiving.
- 4:13Speaker 6: So the pumpkin worship is over the top. Oh, and
- 4:16Speaker 6: display Halloween.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Almost everything's on the list of the things I hate
- 4:19Speaker 5: the most. Display Halloween decorations. I saw a really nice
- 4:22Speaker 5: house just the other day and they had the perfectly
- 4:25Speaker 5: trimmed hedges around it, creating a nice border around the
- 4:29Speaker 5: front yard. And they draped that cotton candy fake.
- 4:32Speaker 10: Oh, the cobwebs?
- 4:33Speaker 5: Cobweb. I'm like, oh, let's take a nice house and
- 4:36Speaker 5: make it look like a total dump. So annoying. Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 6: I knew we'd get Greg with that one.
- 4:42Speaker 5: He hates this list. There is one thing on the
- 4:44Speaker 5: list I love, watching scary movies.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 4:48Speaker 5: But have you noticed the streamers, and I know they
- 4:50Speaker 5: do this on purpose, if you want to watch the
- 4:52Speaker 5: OG Halloween, this is the time of year you'll never
- 4:56Speaker 5: find it on Netflix, HBO Max.
- 4:58Speaker 10: Because somebody wants you to pay for it.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Because they want you to pay for it. I think
- 5:02Speaker 5: that's just mean. You know? Like, come on, Netflix. Throw
- 5:06Speaker 5: Halloween on there.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Can't we go to like Tubi or something, Greg?
- 5:09Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 5:09Speaker 10: I don't want commercials.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I'll check on Tubi then.
- 5:12Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Well, there you go.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Now you have Greg's definitive list of things that suck
- 5:15Speaker 6: about fall.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:17Speaker 5: Pretty much everything.
- 5:18Speaker 6: And yeah, no particular order.
- 5:19Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You're welcome.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Time for your birthdays and your porno birthday.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Don't show it.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It's your birthday.
- 5:28Speaker 6: We're going to party like it's your birthday.
- 5:30Speaker 5: We're going to.
- 5:31Speaker 6: Sip a card like it's your birthday. And you know
- 5:34Speaker 6: we don't give a fuck because.
- 5:35Speaker 3: That's your birthday.
- 5:36Speaker 6: And starting with the birthdays, happy birthday to Simon Cowell,
- 5:40Speaker 6: who is 67 today. You got Tom York from Radiohead Menace.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Zero.
- 5:45Speaker 6: He's 58 years old. Sean Ashmore from the X-Men movies,
- 5:49Speaker 6: the boys, the rookie.
- 5:50Speaker 2: He's 47.
- 5:51Speaker 6: Brie Olsen. Remember, he was a he. She was Charlie
- 5:55Speaker 6: Sheen's head goddess during his whole meltdown.
- 5:58Speaker 10: Oh, that's why that name sounds familiar.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Brie Olsen.
- 6:01Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 6: Who am I getting confused? Isn't there like an actress?
- 6:05Speaker 6: Brie Larson. Brie Larson.
- 6:07Speaker 7: And the Olsen twins.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Olsen twins.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Okay, yeah.
- 6:09Speaker 6: So I'm getting conflated. 40 years old. You got John
- 6:13Speaker 6: Cougar Mellencamp, who's 75. Tony Braxton is 59. That guy,
- 6:19Speaker 6: Lewis Capaldi, who looks like a human garbage pail kid.
- 6:21Speaker 10: Whatever happened to him?
- 6:23Speaker 6: 30 years old. Still around, I guess, right? And then
- 6:25Speaker 6: your favorite, Joy Behar from The View, Greg.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Oh, how's Joy doing?
- 6:28Speaker 6: Is 84. Your porno birthday today is Viva Athena. And
- 6:33Speaker 6: today's birthday girl, she's been under the sheets more than
- 6:36Speaker 6: a ghost. 53 fine adult films, including Viva La Exotica.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Oh, fancy.
- 6:43Speaker 6: She was in Bathing with a Black Man, Volume 1.
- 6:46Speaker 6: Squeeze It All Out. She was in Viva Double Dips
- 6:50Speaker 6: with her stepfamily.
- 6:51Speaker 5: Nice.
- 6:52Speaker 6: My Boyfriend's Dad Makes Me Orgasm, Volume 6.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 6:55Speaker 6: She was in A Cup Girls, Volume 7. And then
- 6:59Speaker 6: Who Can Forget Her Unforgettable Role in Banging for My
- 7:01Speaker 6: Overdue Carly's.
- 7:03Speaker 7: You can do that?
- 7:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:04Speaker 6: It's called trade, right? I wonder if she's got the Cybertruck.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Right, C-Bad?
- 7:08Speaker 6: That's Viva Athena, who's 30 years old today. And that
- 7:11Speaker 6: is your porno birthday, your celebrity birthdays here on The
- 7:15Speaker 6: Woody Show. We'll take a quick break. We've got some
- 7:18Speaker 6: more Wednesday Woody Show for you next. Hang on.

- 8:07Speaker 12: keep enjoying the woody show podcast.
- 8:13Speaker 6: And we go right over that way To where Greg
- 8:17Speaker 6: Gorey is.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:18Speaker 6: He's got the trending news headlines.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Well, the Dodgers are one win away from the NLCS
- 8:23Speaker 5: after Yoshinobu Yamamoto's 10-strikeout game. They can close out that
- 8:27Speaker 5: series today. In San Diego, the Padres won to stay
- 8:31Speaker 5: alive against the Brewers, but Milwaukee leads that series two
- 8:34Speaker 5: games to one.
- 8:35Speaker 6: What's the name of the... Jeff, what's the name of
- 8:36Speaker 6: the closer for the Padres?
- 8:39Speaker 1: I think his last name is Miller.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Miller, yeah. Dude, this guy... The Padres are in the playoffs, right?
- 8:45Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:46Speaker 6: And they're fighting for their life.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah, they are.
- 8:48Speaker 6: And he went on paternity leave.
- 8:50Speaker 2: What?
- 8:50Speaker 6: His wife's having a baby. What a pussy.
- 8:53Speaker 5: Wow.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Yeah. Like, hey, man, you're on the Padres, dog. Wait,
- 8:57Speaker 6: is having a baby or had a baby?
- 8:59Speaker 5: No, is having. Oh, my God.
- 9:01Speaker 6: That's even worse. Now, here's the thing. They all have
- 9:04Speaker 6: medical facilities now at all these modern stadiums.
- 9:07Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 9:07Speaker 6: This is not your grandfather's baseball stadium. There are medical
- 9:10Speaker 6: facilities there. You bring her there. I was talking to
- 9:12Speaker 6: Tim Martinez about it yesterday. You set up a thing there.
- 9:16Speaker 6: You do like a custom suite.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 6: So I wish you can give birth. Like if it's
- 9:19Speaker 6: about to pop, you know what I mean?
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 6: He can run down from the bullpen. He could be
- 9:23Speaker 6: in there.
- 9:24Speaker 7: How cool would that be?
- 9:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 6: And then what a story, right?
- 9:26Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Also like, hey man, like he's taken what? Three days?
- 9:31Speaker 1: That was the part that bothered me the most. If
- 9:33Speaker 1: you want to take like one day, I understand it's
- 9:35Speaker 1: his first kid.
- 9:36Speaker 6: It's the playoffs. It's the best of five series, dog.
- 9:39Speaker 5: He's not born yet.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Three days is wild to me.
- 9:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that kid's really going to remember, oh, I'm so
- 9:44Speaker 7: happy dad was there.
- 9:45Speaker 6: Yes, Gina.
- 9:46Speaker 14: Yeah, apparently the baby was supposed to be born late October,
- 9:49Speaker 14: but she did go into labor already.
- 9:52Speaker 6: This is bad timing. Before you go, you know, shooting
- 9:55Speaker 6: up the club, you know, like, you know that you're, well,
- 9:59Speaker 6: he was playing for the Padres. So you really can't
- 10:01Speaker 6: count on the post season.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:03Speaker 6: But I'm saying like you, you, you time it out
- 10:06Speaker 6: so that, you know, you're, if you're going to plan
- 10:08Speaker 6: a family, uh, You plan the nine months so it
- 10:11Speaker 6: falls during the offseason. So you don't have this thing.
- 10:13Speaker 6: And by the way, he's one of the best, if
- 10:16Speaker 6: not the best, closer in baseball.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Yeah, he's really good, man.
- 10:18Speaker 6: The guy's making tons of money.
- 10:21Speaker 5: What are you doing, dude?
- 10:22Speaker 10: I also just want to double check. Did you say
- 10:24Speaker 10: shooting up the club?
- 10:25Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what they used to say. Like, dude, he
- 10:28Speaker 6: shot up our club.
- 10:29Speaker 7: I've never heard that.
- 10:30Speaker 6: You've never heard that? You're not in these streets the
- 10:32Speaker 6: way that Menace and I are.
- 10:33Speaker 2: No, that's why.
- 10:35Speaker 7: We didn't react because that's how we talk.
- 10:37Speaker 10: But I'm not here.
- 10:39Speaker 6: That's how I talk.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:42Speaker 7: Yeah, like, is his sack, like, in her purse?
- 10:45Speaker 5: Like, dude, what? I don't know.
- 10:47Speaker 7: What's happening?
- 10:47Speaker 6: Yeah, you'll have all kind of time. Like, once the
- 10:49Speaker 6: Padres are done with the postseason. I mean, the postseason,
- 10:52Speaker 6: even if you go all the way through the World Series, like,
- 10:54Speaker 6: you'll have all this time to bond and do skin
- 10:55Speaker 6: on skin. So weak. This is the postseason.
- 10:59Speaker 11: If you remember, this is very different, but when Chris
- 11:01Speaker 11: Daughtry was on American Idol.
- 11:03Speaker 10: Yeah, we all remember.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He didn't go home.
- 11:05Speaker 11: His wife had his baby while he was still doing
- 11:07Speaker 11: American Idol.
- 11:07Speaker 15: And he was like, Jesse, I'll meet you when we're done.
- 11:10Speaker 6: And doesn't he have a song called Home? I'm coming home. Yeah.
- 11:14Speaker 10: I didn't know you were such a Daughtry fan.
- 11:16Speaker 6: I didn't know the one song.
- 11:18Speaker 10: You're a huge super fan.
- 11:19Speaker 5: He's committed.
- 11:20Speaker 15: Yeah, some things are important for your family's future.
- 11:22Speaker 6: It must have been on his mind. Somebody said his
- 11:24Speaker 6: wife is delivering in October before Miller is.
- 11:27Speaker 7: That's funny.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I mean, the Padre season is going to be over.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Chances are tonight well i mean it's the best of
- 11:32Speaker 6: five they were down to nothing they won the game
- 11:35Speaker 6: you know last night but uh yeah i mean believe
- 11:37Speaker 6: it the odds are not in their favor but dude
- 11:39Speaker 6: you you are the guy you're the.
- 11:41Speaker 7: Yeah if you had a job that sucked yeah i
- 11:43Speaker 7: get it right yeah if.
- 11:45Speaker 6: You take the days off and it's no offense against
- 11:47Speaker 6: people like you know drive a forklift or something that
- 11:49Speaker 6: looks cool but like you know like If you miss
- 11:52Speaker 6: a day from work, it's fine. And what do you care?
- 11:54Speaker 6: You don't care about that. But, dude, you're getting paid
- 11:56Speaker 6: millions of dollars. And the whole city hates you. It's
- 11:59Speaker 6: the postseason. It's not even a regular season game.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Oh, and imagine all the bettors, you know, how whiny
- 12:04Speaker 7: they get. And this guy's not playing? Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Oh, weird.
- 12:07Speaker 6: And the wife, when she gets all mad and goes, really?
- 12:10Speaker 6: You're not going to be here? Go, hey, look around.
- 12:12Speaker 6: You like your house?
- 12:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 12:13Speaker 10: You like this life that we're bringing a child into?
- 12:16Speaker 1: I bet you she's way out of his league, and
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's why he feels obligated.
- 12:19Speaker 6: He's a professional baseball player. I guarantee she's not out
- 12:22Speaker 6: of his league. Well, it's certainly not.
- 12:25Speaker 15: Because he loves her. I think we can agree on that.
- 12:27Speaker 6: If she loved him, she'd understand. He can give her
- 12:33Speaker 6: the best push present of all time. I'm not saying
- 12:35Speaker 6: that she doesn't. I'm saying if she is mad, well,
- 12:38Speaker 6: then she is not right for him.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:41Speaker 6: It's not going to work.
- 12:42Speaker 14: Is there any caveat for, like, birth complications? Because she
- 12:46Speaker 14: went into labor early.
- 12:47Speaker 9: Sure.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Doctors will handle that.
- 12:49Speaker 6: I mean, what's he going to do? I mean, he's
- 12:52Speaker 6: a relief pitcher.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 6: Like if you need to like keep the other team
- 12:54Speaker 6: off the board, you know what I mean? You bring
- 12:56Speaker 6: him in.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:57Speaker 6: If your wife was having a medical complication, you bring
- 13:00Speaker 6: a doctor and say, Mason, you got to get a scalpel.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Not much he can do.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:04Speaker 6: It'd be like the doctor not showing up because he
- 13:07Speaker 6: had something else going on.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 5: And then you bring in the relief doctor.
- 13:09Speaker 6: Miller, you show up, dude.
- 13:11Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 5: Other games today, the White Sox can knock out Cleveland,
- 13:14Speaker 5: punch their ticket to the ALCS in front of their
- 13:16Speaker 5: home crowd in Chicago. And the Yankees look to stay
- 13:19Speaker 5: alive because the Tampa Bay Rays are up 2-0 in
- 13:21Speaker 5: that series.
- 13:22Speaker 6: Dude, that could be the worst ALCS, most boring matchup.
- 13:26Speaker 6: The White Sox and the Rays. Can you imagine?
- 13:29Speaker 1: I'd cheer for the White Sox in that case.
- 13:30Speaker 6: I'm saying, but can you imagine anybody, the ratings for
- 13:32Speaker 6: that would suck.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Getting excited over that. We've got to cover some really
- 13:35Speaker 5: bad news. I'm legit bummed out. But Krista Pike, the
- 13:38Speaker 5: Tennessee death row bitch who survived two lethal injection shots,
- 13:42Speaker 5: she was then hospitalized. Now she's awake and she's talking.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Damn it.
- 13:48Speaker 10: About her near-death experiences?
- 13:50Speaker 6: Can't somebody just step on the oxygen hose or something?
- 13:53Speaker 5: Kink her IV?
- 13:54Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 5: She is now the first known person ever in the U.S.
- 13:56Speaker 5: to survive execution drugs. And poor baby. Her lawyers say
- 14:00Speaker 5: she suffered severe burns on her arms when the drugs leaked.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 14:05Speaker 5: So she's still in the hospital. She is shackled to
- 14:08Speaker 5: the bed. Doctors don't know how she's going to be
- 14:11Speaker 5: affected in the long term. They say it could be
- 14:12Speaker 5: weeks or months before they know.
- 14:14Speaker 9: Long term?
- 14:15Speaker 5: And then thanks to her, all remaining executions in Tennessee,
- 14:17Speaker 5: as we've mentioned, have been halted for the rest of
- 14:19Speaker 5: the year. Nothing but bad news.
- 14:21Speaker 6: See, I like how, what was it, the guy who's
- 14:24Speaker 6: getting the firing squad, what was... Oh, the Fort Hood guy.
- 14:27Speaker 6: The Fort Hood guy. Yeah, see, that's how you do it.
- 14:30Speaker 6: You think it's going to be a mistake with a
- 14:32Speaker 6: firing squad?
- 14:32Speaker 7: That'd be a gnaw dog.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Yeah. Or it could be like an obstacle course. You
- 14:36Speaker 5: know how you run from one thing to the next
- 14:37Speaker 5: to the next and have like The firing squad. If
- 14:40Speaker 5: that doesn't work, then you have the injection.
- 14:41Speaker 6: The guillotine.
- 14:42Speaker 5: You have the guillotine. You got to run from one
- 14:43Speaker 5: to the other.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Like Squid Games.
- 14:45Speaker 11: Yes.
- 14:45Speaker 6: I mean, how would you escape the guillotine?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Well, that would be the final one.
- 14:48Speaker 6: But you could say, look, if you somehow manage to
- 14:52Speaker 6: survive all of that, then we let you go. Yeah.
- 14:56Speaker 6: So it makes it easier to try.
- 14:57Speaker 11: Right.
- 14:58Speaker 5: Also, some more information in the alleged sexual assault case
- 15:02Speaker 5: at Cornell. ABC News says that campus police got an
- 15:04Speaker 5: anonymous tip a day after a 2024 campus alert about
- 15:08Speaker 5: a rape went out, and that anonymous tip said leaders
- 15:11Speaker 5: of the Chi Phi fraternity were telling potential witnesses to
- 15:14Speaker 5: stay quiet because the sexual assault allegation could ruin their reputation.
- 15:18Speaker 5: And a student had told investigators that members of Chi
- 15:21Speaker 5: Phi had a meeting to, quote, get everybody on the
- 15:23Speaker 5: same page, and they should describe the entire thing as a, quote,
- 15:27Speaker 5: consensual orgy. And there's also text messages that show some
- 15:31Speaker 5: frat members talking about how to contain the situation. All
- 15:34Speaker 5: got reported to the police by Jane Doe. But the
- 15:37Speaker 5: frat members now say they didn't have that meeting about
- 15:39Speaker 5: this so-called orgy. It was just a weekly chapter meeting.
- 15:42Speaker 6: There's also a bar that she claims that she went
- 15:45Speaker 6: to to get drinks. They're like, no, she didn't.
- 15:47Speaker 10: This whole thing is a mess.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 15:49Speaker 6: I mean, there's... Jeff and I were just talking a
- 15:52Speaker 6: little bit about it because every couple hours, there's like
- 15:56Speaker 6: something from... You know, the frat side. And then two
- 16:01Speaker 6: hours later, there's something else from her side that doesn't
- 16:03Speaker 6: look great for her. Like in these text messages or,
- 16:06Speaker 6: you know, written signed statements. Yeah. So talk about a mess.
- 16:10Speaker 12: Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 5: That one frat bro who's trying to turn the tables
- 16:13Speaker 5: and say he's a victim.
- 16:14Speaker 15: Right. She sodomized him.
- 16:16Speaker 10: He got non-consensually.
- 16:18Speaker 7: He got pegged?
- 16:18Speaker 10: Digited.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Well, that's what he says. No way.
- 16:21Speaker 6: 714, Mason Miller most likely banged his wife on Valentine's Day.
- 16:25Speaker 6: That's why she's giving birth this month. How cliche. You
- 16:29Speaker 6: knock her up on Valentine's Day?
- 16:31Speaker 7: How basic.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Oh, dude.
- 16:32Speaker 6: Yeah, would you get her one of those big gas
- 16:35Speaker 6: station teddy bears? With the giant card.
- 16:39Speaker 10: Oh, my God.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Chocolates from Walgreens.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Do you guys have a pendant that's split in half,
- 16:44Speaker 6: and you got half, and she got.
- 16:46Speaker 10: The other half?
- 16:47Speaker 5: You consider the fancy chocolate Ferrero Rocher?
- 16:51Speaker 6: Dude, I love those.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Yeah, what's up, dude?
- 16:54Speaker 9: Okay.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Also, people are so weird. People are so bored.
- 16:59Speaker 5: So case in point, Amy Jones, this 23-year-old from Milwaukee,
- 17:04Speaker 5: the other day she was bored and decided to pose
- 17:06Speaker 5: as a substitute teacher at Rufus King International High School.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Oh, this story is funny.
- 17:11Speaker 5: It's funny. So to do this.
- 17:13Speaker 6: It's like how Seabass is trying to infiltrate the substitute
- 17:16Speaker 6: teacher system.
- 17:17Speaker 5: She's a total Seabass because over a week ago, she
- 17:20Speaker 5: got past school security by blending in with the students.
- 17:23Speaker 5: And once she was in the school, she heard about
- 17:25Speaker 5: this big substitute teacher shortage. And then the other day,
- 17:28Speaker 5: she went back to the school when eight teachers were
- 17:30Speaker 5: out and went into a classroom that another sub had
- 17:33Speaker 5: set up. But she acted like it was a mistake. No,
- 17:36Speaker 5: I'm the sub. So that one leaves. Then the plan worked.
- 17:39Speaker 5: She had the kids in the classroom.
- 17:42Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 17:43Speaker 6: And now she's just messing with them.
- 17:44Speaker 10: To what end?
- 17:45Speaker 6: Here's a little from one of the news reports.
- 17:47Speaker 9: Students also say Jones started playing rap music very loud
- 17:51Speaker 9: and dissed kids for their weight, race, looks, and money.
- 17:54Speaker 9: Even asking if any students had a vape or marijuana because, quote,
- 17:58Speaker 9: the class was so lame and annoying.
- 18:00Speaker 7: Oh, dude, that was the best day ever at school.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Where was she when I was in high school, man?
- 18:07Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 18:08Speaker 1: She's tired, man.
- 18:09Speaker 5: She was making fun of fat kids. She was telling
- 18:12Speaker 5: them to.
- 18:12Speaker 6: Shut the F up. Asking these kids about, like, you know, sex.
- 18:16Speaker 7: Class is so lame.
- 18:18Speaker 5: She bragged about having felonies on her record. She said
- 18:21Speaker 5: she's okay with going to jail.
- 18:23Speaker 7: This is so awesome.
- 18:25Speaker 5: So some students finally had enough. They told the faculty.
- 18:28Speaker 5: So the cops escorted Amy out. She told them, I
- 18:32Speaker 5: was bored and I just wanted to F around.
- 18:34Speaker 7: Love it.
- 18:35Speaker 5: So she is going to be in court later this month.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Not guilty for.
- 18:38Speaker 10: Being too awesome.
- 18:40Speaker 9: Students also say Jones started playing rap music very loud
- 18:43Speaker 9: and dissed kids for their weight, race, looks, and money.
- 18:47Speaker 9: even asking if any students had a vape or marijuana because, quote,
- 18:50Speaker 9: the class was so.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Lame and annoying.
- 18:55Speaker 7: So lame. Maybe Brokey's got some cheap up in there.
- 19:00Speaker 5: Oh, that rules. Also, the death certificate is out for
- 19:03Speaker 5: Dennis Haskins, the guy who played Mr. Belding on Saved
- 19:05Speaker 5: by the Bell. It lists Parkinson's disease as the immediate
- 19:08Speaker 5: cause of death and also lists a bunch of other
- 19:11Speaker 5: conditions that Dennis had, including, Jeff, irritable bowel syndrome.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 19:15Speaker 1: My guy, IBS gang.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Yeah, depression, high blood pressure, and hyperplasia. That's a thing
- 19:21Speaker 5: that enlarges your organs. So apparently nobody knew that Dennis
- 19:24Speaker 5: had Parkinson's because he had cut off communication with the
- 19:26Speaker 5: people closest to him once he got diagnosed. He had
- 19:28Speaker 5: been living in this assisted living facility. and stopped returning
- 19:31Speaker 5: calls because he didn't want anybody to know that he
- 19:34Speaker 5: was ill. That's what Norm MacDonald did when he didn't
- 19:36Speaker 5: tell anybody.
- 19:37Speaker 6: Man, there was some, oh, there was a guy, used
- 19:39Speaker 6: to work with this guy, this radio guy, his name
- 19:41Speaker 6: was Mike, nice dude, and had no idea he was sick.
- 19:44Speaker 6: I saw him like a year before he died. And
- 19:47Speaker 6: all of a sudden, it's like in the radio trade
- 19:49Speaker 6: news about, like his death. And I'm like, wait, what?
- 19:52Speaker 6: And he had cancer real bad. Didn't tell anybody. I
- 19:55Speaker 6: don't think I could do that.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:56Speaker 6: That would be so difficult. Wouldn't you want some kind
- 20:00Speaker 6: of support? I mean, I guess... Just because you didn't
- 20:02Speaker 6: tell everybody doesn't mean you told nobody.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah, your family.
- 20:04Speaker 10: Well, same thing happened with Chadwick Boseman. Remember, he just
- 20:07Speaker 10: died out of nowhere.
- 20:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 20:09Speaker 6: That's another one.
- 20:09Speaker 10: Sad.
- 20:10Speaker 6: It's kind of like, I don't know. I feel like
- 20:12Speaker 6: you'd want everybody to know. That way you get all
- 20:15Speaker 6: the sympathy. You get all the cool stuff.
- 20:16Speaker 1: All the days off.
- 20:19Speaker 6: Even the people who are your enemies, all of a
- 20:22Speaker 6: sudden they're nice to you. They don't want you to die.
- 20:25Speaker 6: So at least make your last however long you got
- 20:28Speaker 6: more peaceful because everybody's going to be nicer to you
- 20:30Speaker 6: because you're sick. It's like you don't leave a tip
- 20:33Speaker 6: for the bartender until they're looking. You don't make an
- 20:37Speaker 6: anonymous donation to a charity. No, you attach your name
- 20:40Speaker 6: to it.
- 20:40Speaker 5: You make sure everybody knows. I would want to impart
- 20:42Speaker 5: all my wisdom for one last time. Share that.
- 20:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 5: Finally, our legal best friend, Rich DeMuro, Rich on Tech.
- 20:49Speaker 5: He did a whole write-up on Amazon Prime big deal days.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Those were yesterday and today. So you have today to
- 20:54Speaker 5: get in on some deals.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Did you buy anything yet?
- 20:56Speaker 10: I bought 15 things yesterday.
- 20:58Speaker 2: You did?
- 20:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Oh, you got a new ring doorbell? What's the new
- 21:01Speaker 6: ring doorbell?
- 21:02Speaker 5: It is so cool.
- 21:03Speaker 6: What does it do that the old one didn't do?
- 21:05Speaker 6: Why'd you get a new one?
- 21:05Speaker 7: Is it the 4K one?
- 21:06Speaker 5: The other one, for some reason, it worked all the
- 21:08Speaker 5: time unless somebody actually rang the doorbell. Then you couldn't
- 21:12Speaker 5: talk to them and you couldn't hear them.
- 21:14Speaker 6: It's like how cell phones do everything but hold a
- 21:16Speaker 6: phone call.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Exactly. So I got this new one. It has this
- 21:18Speaker 5: function that I find awesome, but it's technically useless. So
- 21:22Speaker 5: if somebody is walking up to the door, it says,
- 21:25Speaker 5: Man with backpack walking to front door.
- 21:28Speaker 10: It describes them.
- 21:29Speaker 5: It describes it. Or cat walking across driveway. So you
- 21:33Speaker 5: can see it, but it tells you what it is.
- 21:35Speaker 6: That's kind of nice. You don't have to like open
- 21:37Speaker 6: up the camera and look at it. Like you can
- 21:38Speaker 6: see that there's an alert. It's detected some kind of motion,
- 21:41Speaker 6: but it tells you what it is. And that way
- 21:43Speaker 6: it's like, okay, man with backpack. Let me see what
- 21:45Speaker 6: that is.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:46Speaker 10: Leaf blowing across the porch.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:49Speaker 7: It's all two 4K ones, and they're awesome. They're so clear.
- 21:52Speaker 7: They are so clear.
- 21:53Speaker 6: I want to be able to see people robbing my
- 21:55Speaker 6: house in 4K.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:56Speaker 7: I want to see their photo.
- 21:58Speaker 14: Well, I got something, Greg. One thing that I'm wondering
- 22:00Speaker 14: what you think of it. It's the shark cordless hand vac.
- 22:04Speaker 10: Does that look kind of fancy?
- 22:05Speaker 5: I support it.
- 22:06Speaker 14: It just looks like a long tube, maybe some sort
- 22:08Speaker 14: of sexual item, and that had a pretty good sale price.
- 22:10Speaker 5: But do you charge it out of sight? Like in
- 22:12Speaker 5: the garage or it's not just in the kitchen, right?
- 22:14Speaker 6: Sure, okay, I'll go put it in the garage.
- 22:16Speaker 10: I was going to put it in the laundry room.
- 22:17Speaker 10: Is that allowed?
- 22:18Speaker 5: That's utilitarian. That's okay. So Rich DeMuro says don't trust
- 22:23Speaker 5: just the percentage off number. If it says 40% off,
- 22:26Speaker 5: might not be the best deal. Check the price history.
- 22:28Speaker 5: That's one of his tips.
- 22:28Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, I remember that. It was like a website
- 22:30Speaker 6: or an app or something that it keeps track of
- 22:33Speaker 6: all the stuff. So it'll tell you the historical over
- 22:35Speaker 6: the last six months, the last six weeks.
- 22:37Speaker 10: Like a line graph.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Yeah. Rich says to basically check over the past three
- 22:41Speaker 5: months to see if you're getting the best deal. And
- 22:43Speaker 5: if you buy stuff on a regular basis, let's say
- 22:45Speaker 5: cleaning supplies, he says if it's a good deal, stock
- 22:48Speaker 5: up on it now. Some of his favorite picks for
- 22:50Speaker 5: big deal days, the Aura digital photo frame. That's $ 150.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I have that.
- 22:54Speaker 7: It's great.
- 22:55Speaker 9: Love it.
- 22:55Speaker 6: He loves those. Like, Rich is a sucker for a
- 22:58Speaker 6: digital photo frame.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 5: He loves the Apple AirPods, $ 129. Let me ask you
- 23:02Speaker 5: a question.
- 23:03Speaker 6: How do you feel about the digital photo frame? Like,
- 23:06Speaker 6: I would think that you would think it's kind of Trashy.
- 23:08Speaker 5: You know what?
- 23:09Speaker 6: I have one because I got it as a gift.
- 23:11Speaker 6: I've never taken it out of the box. And why?
- 23:13Speaker 5: Because I have the Amazon Alexa show.
- 23:17Speaker 12: It's a big- Because he already has one.
- 23:19Speaker 5: That's why. And I load photos into there, so they
- 23:21Speaker 5: rotate in there.
- 23:22Speaker 7: That's cool.
- 23:23Speaker 6: So he likes it. But would you ever have a
- 23:24Speaker 6: standalone digital photo frame?
- 23:27Speaker 5: Probably not.
- 23:28Speaker 6: I wouldn't think Greg- Probably not.
- 23:29Speaker 10: You know who it is made for? Grandparents. Every grandparent
- 23:34Speaker 10: I know, it is perfect. And I love them too.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Because there's some where you could just upload it to
- 23:40Speaker 6: an app and it sends it to their photo frame.
- 23:43Speaker 10: That's what I do.
- 23:44Speaker 6: You just got to be careful that your sex tape
- 23:45Speaker 6: doesn't make it on there.
- 23:46Speaker 10: I have had nightmares about that.
- 23:49Speaker 6: Gina's mom is in her living room. She's like, oh, look,
- 23:52Speaker 6: there's a picture of my grandson. Oh, look, there's a
- 23:54Speaker 6: picture of my daughter's vagina.
- 23:55Speaker 10: Is that Andy?
- 23:56Speaker 14: And you can also upload videos, so be careful.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I know.
- 24:02Speaker 5: If you travel a lot, Rich likes the Inspira digital
- 24:04Speaker 5: luggage scale. That's $ 10. And then another one of his favorites,
- 24:08Speaker 5: the rechargeable motion sensor nightlight, two-pack for $ 17. And he
- 24:13Speaker 5: says he takes it with him when he travels because
- 24:14Speaker 5: hotel rooms can be dark. And he says that's scary.
- 24:17Speaker 6: It's a nightlight. Dude, if anything, I've found more hotel
- 24:21Speaker 6: rooms than not these days. You can't even figure out
- 24:24Speaker 6: how to turn these different lights off. No. They have
- 24:26Speaker 6: under the sink.
- 24:30Speaker 6: There'll be like some kind of light and you're like, well,
- 24:32Speaker 6: how does that turn off?
- 24:33Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Like a glowy... We were just at a hotel recently.
- 24:35Speaker 6: There was a light in the closet and it just
- 24:38Speaker 6: stayed on. Even when the doors were closed, it stayed on.
- 24:41Speaker 6: I'm like, there's no switch. You would think that the
- 24:43Speaker 6: door closing would maybe turn... Nope.
- 24:45Speaker 10: Like a visor mirror in a car.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Nope.
- 24:47Speaker 6: Gotta drape a.
- 24:47Speaker 5: Towel over that.
- 24:48Speaker 6: There's like 18 random lights that are just on or somehow...
- 24:53Speaker 6: triggered by motion or dimness of light. Is there like
- 24:59Speaker 6: an all-off button somewhere?
- 25:02Speaker 10: A kill switch?
- 25:03Speaker 5: A good night setting is what they need. Well, that's
- 25:06Speaker 5: what's going on, Wood.
- 25:06Speaker 6: You know where people really got burned when the technology
- 25:09Speaker 6: was brand new, when you were able to take pictures
- 25:13Speaker 6: with your phone and it would immediately send it to
- 25:15Speaker 6: the cloud?
- 25:16Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Right?
- 25:17Speaker 6: And people were doing that. And so everything that was
- 25:19Speaker 6: going on in their camera roll was showing up on
- 25:21Speaker 6: the cloud. And then the cloud was also tied into
- 25:24Speaker 6: like people's televisions or whatever. And so it would just
- 25:26Speaker 6: pull from there. And so like somebody be out and
- 25:29Speaker 6: doing something and they would upload something to the cloud
- 25:31Speaker 6: and all of a sudden it would show up on
- 25:33Speaker 6: something in their house and their kids are around.
- 25:35Speaker 10: I would die.
- 25:35Speaker 6: It's something completely inappropriate.
- 25:37Speaker 10: I'd have to change my name.
- 25:38Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 25:41Speaker 6: That's so funny.
- 25:42Speaker 5: All right.
- 25:42Speaker 6: Thank you very much, Gregory. Do it. Greg is one
- 25:45Speaker 6: of the smartest people I know, and for certain things,
- 25:48Speaker 6: one of the dumbest people I know.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Really dumb.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Am I going crazy?
- 25:51Speaker 5: Am I that dumb?
- 25:53Speaker 6: I don't have that other side, like where you're really smart.
- 25:55Speaker 2: No.
- 25:56Speaker 6: I think you're being too generous.
- 25:58Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 26:01Speaker 6: On our Instagram, final call, last call, so you can
- 26:07Speaker 6: judge this baby.
- 26:08Speaker 10: Hell yeah.
- 26:10Speaker 6: Our listener, Becca, she sent us some pictures of Her son,
- 26:16Speaker 6: his name is Bo Hunter. And yes, that is a
- 26:19Speaker 6: hunting reference.
- 26:20Speaker 10: They meant to do that.
- 26:21Speaker 6: They meant to do it. Take a look at the
- 26:24Speaker 6: pictures that she sent. Again, we feel that every parent
- 26:27Speaker 6: should know if they're showing off pictures of a kid
- 26:32Speaker 6: that's cute or not.
- 26:33Speaker 10: Of an uggo baby.
- 26:34Speaker 6: Yeah, you don't know. It doesn't mean that you don't
- 26:37Speaker 6: love the baby physically. It doesn't change how you feel
- 26:39Speaker 6: about it.
- 26:39Speaker 10: In fact, they deserve more love.
- 26:40Speaker 6: It just maybe, I don't know, just, you know, stop
- 26:44Speaker 6: showing it off all the time. Yeah.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Like, we get it.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Yeah, you're putting people in a really awkward position.
- 26:49Speaker 10: Yeah, stop doing that to your friends.
- 26:50Speaker 6: Yeah, so on a baby scale of one to ten.
- 26:53Speaker 6: So ten meaning just totes adorbs and then just... Baby fever.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 10: One meaning stash it away.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:02Speaker 6: Yeah, keep that picture to yourself. Under wraps. Yeah, last call...
- 27:07Speaker 6: On the pictures that are there on our Instagram right now,
- 27:09Speaker 6: it's pinned to the top of our profile, just at
- 27:12Speaker 6: The Woody Show on Instagram. You can check that out.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Random thought. I saw this and I'm like, yeah, you
- 27:24Speaker 6: know what? That's pretty funny. I wonder what that would
- 27:26Speaker 6: be or who that would be. You guys ever think
- 27:29Speaker 6: about how there's a random person out there who has
- 27:34Speaker 6: a story about the weirdest person they've ever encountered. And
- 27:37Speaker 6: it's you.
- 27:38Speaker 5: I think about that quite often.
- 27:40Speaker 10: Wow.
- 27:40Speaker 5: Or that just a random person out there just has
- 27:43Speaker 5: any memory of you.
- 27:44Speaker 6: I saw that. I'm like, wow, that's yeah. Like there's
- 27:47Speaker 6: gotta be people out there and whatever, like the, the,
- 27:50Speaker 6: the weirdest person they've ever encountered and they're telling a story.
- 27:53Speaker 6: It's about you.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:54Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 6: I mean, how many times have I been on this
- 27:56Speaker 6: show and we're talking about something? I mean, I've worked
- 27:59Speaker 6: at so many different radio stations and I've worked with
- 28:00Speaker 6: so many different people and, 50 years into life, you've
- 28:03Speaker 6: encountered a lot of... I have a story about this
- 28:06Speaker 6: guy or whatever, and this guy was so weird. He's
- 28:10Speaker 6: out there somewhere. Walking around, living his life. Meanwhile, I'm
- 28:13Speaker 6: here like, dude, you're the weirdest person I've ever met.
- 28:16Speaker 5: He's just getting lunch.
- 28:18Speaker 10: That made me very uncomfortable.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Or something that you do, and someone's like, yeah, dude,
- 28:23Speaker 6: I got this friend, Gina. And she does this thing.
- 28:26Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people say that.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Oh, I bet there's people out there that have stories
- 28:31Speaker 5: of maybe the people that witnessed one of my nuclear meltdowns,
- 28:35Speaker 5: you know, they still tell it at a dinner party.
- 28:38Speaker 7: Well, yeah, I had this one listener. She would text
- 28:41Speaker 7: in or hit us up on social media, probably for
- 28:44Speaker 7: like a good five years. And it would just say,
- 28:47Speaker 7: I met her one time and she said that, Oh,
- 28:49Speaker 7: menace is super awkward. It was meeting, meeting menace was awkward.
- 28:54Speaker 7: And that's all she would post like all the time.
- 28:55Speaker 7: And then finally I go, well, maybe you were awkward.
- 28:59Speaker 7: And then she stopped posting.
- 29:00Speaker 5: Boom, roasted.
- 29:01Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 6: No, I'm not. Maybe you were.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Maybe you were just awkward.
- 29:05Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 29:08Speaker 7: I don't know why she had constantly had.
- 29:09Speaker 6: It, like, just keep on.
- 29:10Speaker 15: I'm never near glue, bitch.
- 29:12Speaker 7: Maybe you were just the one.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:14Speaker 6: I don't know. But, I mean, and not just, like,
- 29:17Speaker 6: the weirdest person they've ever encountered.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I mean.
- 29:22Speaker 5: Maybe they witnessed you doing something crazy.
- 29:24Speaker 6: Yeah, or, like, you... you are someone's most hated person.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Or you are the, you know, whatever, ugliest person. Like
- 29:37Speaker 6: if someone was asked, who's the ugliest person you know?
- 29:40Speaker 6: And they'd be like, oh, this guy, Woody.
- 29:44Speaker 10: Hands down, no contest.
- 29:46Speaker 5: Yeah, right.
- 29:46Speaker 6: It's just something like whatever. Or like, you know, or
- 29:50Speaker 6: it could be the opposite. Let's keep it positive for
- 29:52Speaker 6: a second. Who was the person that you dated that,
- 29:59Speaker 6: That was the one that you felt got away. Oh, man.
- 30:02Speaker 6: I dated this guy, Greg.
- 30:03Speaker 5: I didn't realize how great he was.
- 30:05Speaker 10: Slipped through my fingers.
- 30:06Speaker 6: I dated this chick, Sammy. She was a little nuts.
- 30:08Speaker 6: She pooped a lot. But you know what I mean?
- 30:12Speaker 6: Keeping it positive, too. But I was in love with her.
- 30:17Speaker 6: There are stories out there that people tell And they're
- 30:20Speaker 6: about you as the whatever-est person.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yep, yep.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:25Speaker 6: I would love to know what those are.
- 30:26Speaker 10: Would you?
- 30:27Speaker 7: I would.
- 30:27Speaker 6: I kind of would. I like crossroads. Yeah, you have
- 30:32Speaker 6: no problem with that. It doesn't bother me when people
- 30:36Speaker 6: are upset because everybody's got their version of a story, right?
- 30:41Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 6: And for me personally, it's why I've always said, you
- 30:45Speaker 6: can label me whatever you want, you know. Whatever bad
- 30:49Speaker 6: thing you want, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, whatever-ist.
- 30:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 6: As long as what you're basing it on is something
- 30:58Speaker 6: I've actually done or I've actually said.
- 31:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:01Speaker 6: As long as it's not like a hearsay, like, oh,
- 31:03Speaker 6: I heard or something that was taken out of context or.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Didn't hear the full story.
- 31:07Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Or if you hate me- If I am someone's, and I'm, look,
- 31:12Speaker 6: I know for a fact, like, I am definitely some
- 31:15Speaker 6: people's most hated person. And that's okay, because when I,
- 31:19Speaker 6: the people that I know that that applies to, I go, yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 6: you know what? I'm fine with that.
- 31:23Speaker 10: Yeah, I get that.
- 31:24Speaker 6: Because I feel like I didn't really do that person dirty,
- 31:28Speaker 6: or I, like, I know what the situation was, at
- 31:30Speaker 6: least from my side, and I can live with that.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:33Speaker 6: And therefore, it doesn't bother me. It bothers me more,
- 31:36Speaker 6: and things do bother me more, when the story's wrong.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Where it's like, no, no, no, no, no, that is
- 31:41Speaker 6: completely fabricated. Or no, no, no, that is completely out
- 31:44Speaker 6: of context. But if it's true, or it's something I've
- 31:48Speaker 6: really done, then fine. Then so be it.
- 31:52Speaker 5: So you would want to know.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yes.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Would you want to know, because I think about this
- 31:56Speaker 5: all the damn time, when you have somebody over to
- 31:59Speaker 5: your house to entertain, or you go to somebody else's house,
- 32:02Speaker 5: and then on your way home, you and your wife
- 32:03Speaker 5: are saying like, wow, they only served one bottle of
- 32:06Speaker 5: wine or whatever it is. Oh, yeah.
- 32:08Speaker 6: You would want to know what their review was of
- 32:10Speaker 6: your dinner party.
- 32:11Speaker 5: When people leave my house, I wonder, what are they
- 32:13Speaker 5: saying right now? Like, oh my God, that chicken was
- 32:15Speaker 5: not good.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 32:17Speaker 6: Wow, their house has a weird smell. Oh, I would
- 32:19Speaker 6: love to know that kind of stuff.
- 32:20Speaker 5: I would love to know too, so I could improve.
- 32:22Speaker 14: That's what I was going to say, like the suggestion
- 32:24Speaker 14: box for next time.
- 32:25Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just out of curiosity or like, you know,
- 32:28Speaker 6: have I ever been either someone's best friend or the
- 32:32Speaker 6: worst they've ever had, right? Or like when it comes
- 32:36Speaker 6: to like what you think. Greg, and you know how like,
- 32:39Speaker 6: because you've been propositioned by women Who know you're gay.
- 32:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 6: And they'll go, but I'm the best at BJs.
- 32:48Speaker 12: Right.
- 32:48Speaker 6: And I would give you a BJ. Because you say
- 32:52Speaker 6: that no woman gives a BJ as good as a
- 32:55Speaker 6: man does.
- 32:56Speaker 5: I truly believe that.
- 32:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 5: And it's the same reason that a woman prefers a
- 33:01Speaker 5: female gynecologist. Who knows women better than a woman, right?
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:04Speaker 6: I mean, that makes sense.
- 33:05Speaker 5: Who would know how to oral?
- 33:07Speaker 6: So there are people who are super confident in their ability.
- 33:13Speaker 6: They think that, man, I'm really amazing at this particular
- 33:16Speaker 6: thing in bed. Truly, honestly, have you ever been someone's
- 33:23Speaker 6: best when it comes to that or someone's worst? And
- 33:27Speaker 6: you're going around. It's like judge my baby. You're going
- 33:30Speaker 6: around showing pictures of a kid you think are pretty.
- 33:32Speaker 6: You run around thinking that you're awesome at something and
- 33:34Speaker 6: you really suck at it. No pun intended.
- 33:38Speaker 14: It's very possible that I've been both because I would
- 33:41Speaker 14: think that I was somebody's best if it was like
- 33:43Speaker 14: a casual hookup and I was just like performing at
- 33:47Speaker 14: like a 10 just for fun.
- 33:48Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:49Speaker 10: But when you're just like, you're not really into it. Like, boy,
- 33:51Speaker 10: what a pillow princess. You didn't even move.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:54Speaker 10: I think there's probably some misdreavus out there.
- 33:57Speaker 6: Most guys don't even care about that as long as
- 33:58Speaker 6: they're getting laid.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Oh, that's good.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Totally.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Like probably more important that you probably, women probably think
- 34:04Speaker 6: more about it than the guys do.
- 34:05Speaker 10: Well, yeah, you have more work to do.
- 34:07Speaker 6: It's like free pizza.
- 34:08Speaker 5: I don't think I'm on any 10 best list. That's
- 34:10Speaker 5: for sure.
- 34:10Speaker 10: You don't think?
- 34:11Speaker 6: No, maybe one person.
- 34:12Speaker 10: But you're so like.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Who told me it over and over and over. This
- 34:15Speaker 5: is the best ever. But other than that, I don't
- 34:18Speaker 5: even make the top 10.
- 34:20Speaker 6: And man, I went down. I just went down like
- 34:22Speaker 6: a rabbit hole of thought after just seeing that. Because
- 34:24Speaker 6: it just popped up. And it's like, you guys ever
- 34:26Speaker 6: think about. how there's random people out there who have
- 34:29Speaker 6: a story about the weirdest person they've encountered, and it's you.
- 34:32Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:33Speaker 6: That's so funny. I love thinking about that. It's so funny.
- 34:36Speaker 6: It's hard not to. All right. 877-44-WOODY. You can send
- 34:40Speaker 6: us a text. Do that over to 22987. More Woody
- 34:43Speaker 6: Show is next.
- 34:44Speaker 5: The Woody Show returns right after these messages.
- 34:50Speaker 2: The Woody Show. All right.
- 34:53Speaker 6: So people were asked how they feel about flying on
- 34:56Speaker 6: a plane. Was Greg asked? They did not ask Greg.
- 35:00Speaker 6: We already know. And they were given options. Afraid, bothered slightly,
- 35:04Speaker 6: not afraid, not afraid at all.
- 35:07Speaker 5: Right.
- 35:09Speaker 6: 13% are like Greg and they are afraid.
- 35:12Speaker 5: Only 13?
- 35:12Speaker 10: 13%.
- 35:13Speaker 5: That is very surprising.
- 35:15Speaker 6: 30% said that flying bothers them slightly.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Really?
- 35:19Speaker 6: Think about how many people travel and fly and stuff.
- 35:21Speaker 5: I know, but like I've said before, the stats do
- 35:23Speaker 5: not comfort me.
- 35:25Speaker 2: At all.
- 35:25Speaker 5: The stats don't comfort you? They do not. I mean,
- 35:28Speaker 5: I know. You can tell me all day. It's safer
- 35:30Speaker 5: than driving. I understand that.
- 35:33Speaker 6: 57% said they're not afraid at all.
- 35:35Speaker 5: That's you.
- 35:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Where do you fall into that, Gina? Because
- 35:39Speaker 5: you seem okay with it.
- 35:40Speaker 10: I used to be.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Unless it's an act.
- 35:42Speaker 14: No, no, no. I used to be very afraid. And
- 35:44Speaker 14: then for me, it's just exposure therapy. The more I
- 35:46Speaker 14: do it, I do not care at all. I don't
- 35:47Speaker 14: take anything. I don't think about it anymore.
- 35:50Speaker 10: But if I go a while without flying, it picks
- 35:52Speaker 10: up again.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:54Speaker 5: Same.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Would this make it better, Greg, if more stuff like
- 35:57Speaker 6: this happened on planes? There's this woman and she's on
- 36:01Speaker 6: an American Airlines flight. This is from Baltimore to Miami.
- 36:06Speaker 6: And she was spread eagle.
- 36:09Speaker 9: Oh.
- 36:09Speaker 6: And she had her legs up.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 6: On the side of the plane and everything, and she
- 36:14Speaker 6: was just going at it, pleasuring herself.
- 36:16Speaker 10: Good for her.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Yeah, just like knocking one out, aggressively right there.
- 36:24Speaker 5: Would that help? Yes, it would. Of course.
- 36:26Speaker 7: That's a good distraction, right?
- 36:28Speaker 5: Here's an idea. My Propofol Airways idea apparently is never
- 36:32Speaker 5: coming to fruition because you can't get people anesthetized on
- 36:37Speaker 5: a flight. But what if we had, let's say you
- 36:39Speaker 5: have a three hour flight. What if one hour of
- 36:42Speaker 5: those three hours, we throw all social norms out the
- 36:45Speaker 5: window and they allow certain things like this, like, Hey guys,
- 36:49Speaker 5: free hour. If you want a Joe, if you want.
- 36:51Speaker 7: It's up to you.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Is she on Ambien or what?
- 36:55Speaker 7: Is she on something?
- 36:56Speaker 6: She told the cops that she couldn't remember a thing after, quote,
- 36:58Speaker 6: several drinks.
- 36:59Speaker 15: There we go.
- 37:00Speaker 6: During a two-hour delay. Yeah, she's 46 years old.
- 37:03Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 37:05Speaker 6: And I don't know. I can't speak to her because
- 37:06Speaker 6: I haven't seen anything, no mugshot, no nothing. I don't
- 37:10Speaker 6: know if it was one of those things that'd be
- 37:11Speaker 6: worth seeing, like that you'd want to see it.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Maybe it was something.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Maybe it was something like super gross.
- 37:16Speaker 10: Was anyone else in her row?
- 37:19Speaker 6: To be able to get in that position. The article
- 37:21Speaker 6: literally says a 46-year-old woman was caught on video pleasuring
- 37:25Speaker 6: herself on an American Airlines flight from Baltimore to Miami.
- 37:28Speaker 6: And she had her legs up on the side of
- 37:31Speaker 6: the plane. Oh, so she's a window seat.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Yeah, she probably, yeah, just turned around, put her legs up.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Yep. Oh, my God.
- 37:38Speaker 6: Well, you got to pass the time somehow.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I never see stuff like that.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Never.
- 37:43Speaker 7: I know.
- 37:43Speaker 6: Come on. I know. Never anything fun like that.
- 37:46Speaker 5: Never seen somebody Joe in a parking lot. Never seen
- 37:48Speaker 5: a flasher.
- 37:48Speaker 6: Never seen anybody dragged off the plane.
- 37:50Speaker 2: No.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Everything's normal all the time.
- 37:53Speaker 6: Come on. Yeah. Were you with me, Menace? Or was
- 37:56Speaker 6: it somebody else on a flight going somewhere and- We
- 38:01Speaker 6: thought the person on the aisle seat across from us
- 38:03Speaker 6: was literally dead.
- 38:06Speaker 10: What?
- 38:07Speaker 7: Yeah, I think so.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 38:09Speaker 6: This family was transporting their mom or this old woman.
- 38:15Speaker 6: But this old woman, I mean, she looked like a
- 38:18Speaker 6: corpse and she was not responding. They were going, mom, mom, mom.
- 38:22Speaker 6: And they're like, mom, mom. And they were moving her
- 38:25Speaker 6: from wherever we were going.
- 38:27Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 38:27Speaker 4: From.
- 38:28Speaker 6: And they were moving her to some facility, I guess,
- 38:30Speaker 6: that was closer to them. And they had a nurse
- 38:34Speaker 6: that was traveling with them. Man, who was with me?
- 38:37Speaker 10: Shouldn't that be her job?
- 38:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 7: That sounds familiar.
- 38:40Speaker 6: We swore this woman was dead. She was not responding.
- 38:44Speaker 7: I've definitely had that on international flights.
- 38:45Speaker 6: That was exciting.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I bet.
- 38:47Speaker 7: With old guys. And I don't know if they were
- 38:49Speaker 7: asleep or what.
- 38:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:51Speaker 7: But I just got off the plane. They might have
- 38:53Speaker 7: been dead.
- 38:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Oh, somebody said TMZ posted the video. Yeah, I'm looking
- 38:57Speaker 6: at it.
- 38:58Speaker 10: You can't see much. It's just like through the cracks
- 39:00Speaker 10: in the seat.
- 39:02Speaker 6: You can't see her face?
- 39:03Speaker 15: You can see her bare legs up in the air.
- 39:05Speaker 10: Yeah, like you see two knees and that's it.
- 39:08Speaker 6: Can you tell that she has ankles?
- 39:09Speaker 10: Or cankles?
- 39:12Speaker 6: Ankles or cankles, that's a good sign.
- 39:14Speaker 15: She looks fit. I'll say that from the angle of
- 39:16Speaker 15: her leg.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Normal leg, yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 6: Then there you go, Greg.
- 39:20Speaker 5: Okay, that would help.
- 39:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 1: That would help.
- 39:22Speaker 6: You know other passengers have some better video.
- 39:25Speaker 10: Yeah, the one right across the row had to shoot
- 39:28Speaker 10: that too.
- 39:29Speaker 6: Yeah, or if you're in the row in front of her,
- 39:32Speaker 6: you can just take the video from between the crack
- 39:34Speaker 6: and the seats.
- 39:35Speaker 10: She's not going to remember it.
- 39:36Speaker 6: Yeah, you'll be able to see what kind of haircut
- 39:38Speaker 6: she's got.
- 39:40Speaker 5: How mortifying for her.
- 39:41Speaker 6: Is it still raw dog in the flight if you're
- 39:43Speaker 6: touching yourself? Wonders the 415 on the text?
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 5: Count. Try it.
- 39:47Speaker 6: I ain't your pal, dickface. Dickface. Dickface.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I ain't your pal. Dickface.
- 39:54Speaker 9: Dickface.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Dickface.
- 39:57Speaker 6: The Woody Show. Now we're going to have Menace's word
- 40:01Speaker 6: of the day. Ooh, we're going to learn. In just
- 40:05Speaker 6: a moment. I did want to play a clip. It
- 40:10Speaker 6: is about how everybody is getting dumber. Despite all these things,
- 40:14Speaker 6: all these, like, advancements in how easy information is to
- 40:18Speaker 6: obtain or, you know, if you are curious about something.
- 40:22Speaker 5: There's your answer right there.
- 40:23Speaker 6: It used to be, you know, your parents would go, well,
- 40:26Speaker 6: look it up. And then it sucked because that meant
- 40:29Speaker 6: actual work.
- 40:30Speaker 5: You might have to go to the.
- 40:31Speaker 7: Library, find an encyclopedia. It might take days.
- 40:35Speaker 6: Right. But now, and so it's just the reliance on,
- 40:39Speaker 6: and menace will say for, you know, spelling or for
- 40:43Speaker 6: vocabulary words like, wow, I got a computer. I got
- 40:46Speaker 6: a phone and I don't need that stuff. This comedian,
- 40:50Speaker 6: Pineapple Honeydew.
- 40:52Speaker 9: Oh.
- 40:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 40:53Speaker 6: Never heard of this person before, but I thought this
- 40:55Speaker 6: was pretty funny. Did a video mocking how people sound
- 40:58Speaker 6: when they're using now chat GPT for everything. This is
- 41:01Speaker 6: pretty good.
- 41:01Speaker 13: Chat BBT, is my refrigerator running? Chat BBT, is Shrek
- 41:05Speaker 13: 2 the sequel or the first one? Chat BBT, how
- 41:08Speaker 13: old is my mom? Chat BBT, do I know enough
- 41:11Speaker 13: words to write an email? Chat BBT, what's your star sign?
- 41:14Speaker 13: Chat BBT, what's that name? What's that one movie?
- 41:17Speaker 6: Chat BBB is chicken vegan. Chat DVD, can you write.
- 41:21Speaker 13: The email for me, please? I don't know enough words.
- 41:24Speaker 6: I'm going to do it.
- 41:26Speaker 10: That's what's going.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Chat BBB.
- 41:27Speaker 6: What's that one movie? Yeah, what's that one movie? Yeah, yeah.
- 41:30Speaker 6: People will do that to us. They'll text us and go, hey,
- 41:32Speaker 6: can you guys play that one song? What one song?
- 41:34Speaker 7: Yeah, you got it.
- 41:35Speaker 6: What are you talking about?
- 41:36Speaker 10: Coming up.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Who's that guy?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:38Speaker 8: Or they'll text us questions that they could have answered.
- 41:40Speaker 8: Already answered before texting.
- 41:41Speaker 6: Absolutely. Not stuff that we know, like stuff that the
- 41:44Speaker 6: world knows. Right, right. Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 6: If you want to know, like, take opinion or, you know,
- 41:50Speaker 6: who on the show would be most likely to, that's
- 41:52Speaker 6: a question for us. But when it's a simple question
- 41:55Speaker 6: that is easily. Googleable. Googleable.
- 41:58Speaker 5: You used your thumbs to text that. Yeah.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Right.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Type it into Google.
- 42:01Speaker 6: Yeah. Is it an old person thing? To use ChatGPT
- 42:08Speaker 6: because somebody said using ChatGPT the way that you used
- 42:13Speaker 6: to use Google is an old person thing. I get that.
- 42:16Speaker 6: Like you should still be Googling things, not just putting
- 42:19Speaker 6: whatever your search thing is into ChatGPT or Gemini or
- 42:23Speaker 6: whichever one you're using.
- 42:25Speaker 7: I just think ChatGPT is for older people in general.
- 42:28Speaker 10: But in general.
- 42:30Speaker 7: I just find older people using it more than all
- 42:33Speaker 7: the others.
- 42:33Speaker 6: Because it's the OG. It's the Xerox or the... It's
- 42:36Speaker 6: the most recognizable... Yeah. So is it kind of like
- 42:40Speaker 6: once everybody knows about a band, it's no longer cool? No.
- 42:43Speaker 6: So therefore it's... Right?
- 42:44Speaker 5: No.
- 42:44Speaker 6: Like once something becomes super popular, now it's the thing
- 42:47Speaker 6: that's not cool anymore. Because you need to be on
- 42:50Speaker 6: to the next thing before everybody else.
- 42:52Speaker 7: No, I just think younger people just research more stuff
- 42:55Speaker 7: to find what's a better product.
- 42:57Speaker 6: But is it not good? Is ChatGPT not?
- 43:00Speaker 7: I don't think it's that great versus other ones.
- 43:02Speaker 10: I do use it a lot. And when I use it,
- 43:05Speaker 10: I'm like, actually, that's not right. You're right. Thank you
- 43:08Speaker 10: for correcting me. Why did I have to correct you?
- 43:11Speaker 6: Is there a difference? Are you comparing apples to apples,
- 43:14Speaker 6: meaning the free version of ChatGPT compared to the free
- 43:19Speaker 6: version of whatever the other ones are?
- 43:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 43:22Speaker 6: It's still not as good? I don't believe it is.
- 43:25Speaker 6: All right, because I don't know. I'd have to Google that.
- 43:28Speaker 6: I would say this.
- 43:29Speaker 8: Well, that's the thing with Google, which there's Gemini. That's,
- 43:33Speaker 8: in my experience, the pussiest one out there. Anything that
- 43:36Speaker 8: is slightly controversial. Oh, yeah, that I hate. I want
- 43:41Speaker 8: to buy a legal product. Well, did you know that
- 43:44Speaker 8: in certain states, it'll start with a big list of
- 43:46Speaker 8: things I can't do.
- 43:47Speaker 5: I'm not asking for your morality.
- 43:50Speaker 6: Rally.
- 43:50Speaker 7: I will tell you this. I do use ShagGBT voice.
- 43:55Speaker 7: I never use it for like type. I never type
- 43:57Speaker 7: in anything.
- 43:57Speaker 6: Is that the one that you talk to? Yeah. And
- 43:59Speaker 6: you have a relationship going with it?
- 44:00Speaker 7: Yeah, I'll talk to that one in the morning through
- 44:03Speaker 7: my car, but that's it.
- 44:05Speaker 10: But it's still just an aggregator.
- 44:07Speaker 14: So what's the difference between Googling it and having it
- 44:09Speaker 14: come up with all of the, you know, websites and
- 44:11Speaker 14: stuff and giving you an answer?
- 44:12Speaker 8: Well, to me, the thing there is it like instead
- 44:14Speaker 8: of me searching through, like if I want a specific
- 44:16Speaker 8: product that does specific things.
- 44:18Speaker 7: I'll tell an AI that, and it'll pre-search for me.
- 44:21Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what I mean.
- 44:22Speaker 6: But I won't have to go and look and say,
- 44:24Speaker 6: wait a minute, is that?
- 44:25Speaker 10: Oh, it can still be wrong.
- 44:26Speaker 6: Well, like I was mentioning, my one friend, Gene, he
- 44:31Speaker 6: is a review guy. Before he stays at a hotel,
- 44:35Speaker 6: goes to a restaurant, I mean, he digs into all
- 44:37Speaker 6: the reviews. And he's been using AI to go through
- 44:42Speaker 6: all the different reviews, but he's got it set up
- 44:45Speaker 6: in his rules that, about what to exclude. Cause like
- 44:49Speaker 6: CBass will say like, you know, I don't want to
- 44:52Speaker 6: exclude all reviews that just mentioned an employee by name
- 44:56Speaker 6: because typically like, Oh, I had a great experience with
- 44:58Speaker 6: the front desk, the front desk woman. And therefore like
- 45:02Speaker 6: the room might not have been great, but they really
- 45:03Speaker 6: liked that front desk woman. So that's why they gave
- 45:05Speaker 6: him five stars. Shouldn't work here anymore. Yeah. So anything,
- 45:08Speaker 6: anything like that, that could just like, Oh, or like
- 45:09Speaker 6: you had, you know, I couldn't find any parking spots.
- 45:13Speaker 6: The rooms may be great and they're going to be
- 45:15Speaker 6: a great place to stay. And it was actually a
- 45:16Speaker 6: really good value. But, like, they couldn't find the parking
- 45:19Speaker 6: spot out front, so they gave it one star. So
- 45:21Speaker 6: he figured out a way to, like, to filter those out.
- 45:24Speaker 10: Like, filter out anything personal that's a one-off.
- 45:28Speaker 8: It'll do things like that. Like, if I'm in a
- 45:30Speaker 8: town and I find me a Planet Fitness that has
- 45:32Speaker 8: Olympic-style squat racks, that's not listed on the Google results.
- 45:37Speaker 2: It doesn't.
- 45:38Speaker 8: Grok or whoever will go in through like the Yelp
- 45:41Speaker 8: and say, oh, so-and-so mentioned that. So it'll pre-filter stuff
- 45:45Speaker 8: that the home website doesn't need.
- 45:46Speaker 1: It'll do a deep dive.
- 45:47Speaker 6: But I'm with you, CBaz. I hate it when it's
- 45:50Speaker 6: so politically correct. It's obnoxious. It's got a septum piercing.
- 45:55Speaker 6: Whose ass are you covering?
- 45:57Speaker 10: You're not a real person.
- 45:59Speaker 6: All I wanted was for take this picture of Greg
- 46:02Speaker 6: and make it look like he's slow. That's all I want.
- 46:05Speaker 10: I'm not asking for the world.
- 46:08Speaker 7: Marginalized communities, blah, blah, blah.
- 46:10Speaker 6: I'm like, oh, my God. Shut up.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Just make him.
- 46:13Speaker 6: Just make him.
- 46:14Speaker 5: Just make him special.
- 46:15Speaker 6: Put him on the short bus, please. That's all I'm
- 46:17Speaker 6: asking for, so I can send it to him. We
- 46:19Speaker 6: can laugh. There's a stigma around short bus. Shut up.
- 46:23Speaker 6: That's all I want.
- 46:24Speaker 10: This is between me and Greg.
- 46:25Speaker 9: Right.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Show him shooting heroin.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Come on.
- 46:29Speaker 5: Come on.
- 46:29Speaker 7: I can't do that.
- 46:30Speaker 6: What are you doing?
- 46:31Speaker 5: Drugs are bad. 877-44-WOODY.
- 46:35Speaker 6: You can text us over to 22987. We do have
- 46:39Speaker 6: a menace word of the day. Real learning.
- 46:43Speaker 14: There was this model, this legit fitness model that I
- 46:47Speaker 14: worked with, and he was super hot. And so I
- 46:50Speaker 14: thought it would be the ultimate power.
- 46:51Speaker 10: Move to bang him. And I did.
- 46:53Speaker 14: And then instead of him telling everyone, I told everyone
- 46:57Speaker 14: because I thought that would make me look cool.
- 46:59Speaker 10: And it caused a ton of problems. And then he
- 47:01Speaker 10: got fired.
- 47:02Speaker 5: The Woody Show.
- 47:05Speaker 6: Now, before the word of the day, what are you
- 47:07Speaker 6: heating up over there, Seabass?
- 47:09Speaker 8: I've got a special incentive for Menace to do really
- 47:11Speaker 8: great on his word of the day today.
- 47:13Speaker 6: All right, let's try really hard, buddy. I got another
- 47:15Speaker 6: flavor of the new Hot Pocket Snack Breaks.
- 47:18Speaker 2: Oh, damn.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 47:19Speaker 6: These are the Cheesy Stuffed Pretzels.
- 47:21Speaker 8: So it's a pretzel crust Hot Pocket stuffed with gooey cheese.
- 47:26Speaker 10: Menace, you better do good.
- 47:27Speaker 6: Only if you try really hard on your word of
- 47:29Speaker 6: the day. All right.
- 47:30Speaker 7: I mean, I just ordered everybody food.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Yay!
- 47:33Speaker 7: You ever heard of an appetizer? Yeah, true.
- 47:35Speaker 5: All right.
- 47:36Speaker 6: Well, let's see how he does. Menace, word of the day.
- 47:40Speaker 2: All right.
- 47:42Speaker 6: So in an effort to extend beyond the 91 words
- 47:47Speaker 6: that he knows. And dwindling.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:50Speaker 6: I'm trying to cut a couple out, actually.
- 47:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 47:53Speaker 6: We have a word of the day calendar. We give
- 47:55Speaker 6: him a page from that calendar. It's got the word
- 47:57Speaker 6: on there. It's got the, as he would call it,
- 47:58Speaker 6: the burnunciation guide.
- 48:01Speaker 5: Which is very helpful to him.
- 48:02Speaker 6: Has the definitions.
- 48:05Speaker 10: Upside down cue.
- 48:06Speaker 6: Uses it in a sentence.
- 48:08Speaker 7: It's hieroglyphics every time.
- 48:09Speaker 2: It is.
- 48:10Speaker 6: And Menace is going to give us his best shot
- 48:13Speaker 6: at it. I'm going to spell it for everybody so
- 48:14Speaker 6: everybody knows at home what we're talking about here. C-A-T-A-C-L-Y-S-M.
- 48:22Speaker 6: C-A-T-A-C-L-Y-S-M is today's word of the day. And Menace, what
- 48:27Speaker 6: is today's word? How would you say that?
- 48:29Speaker 1: Cataclysm.
- 48:31Speaker 12: Whoa!
- 48:32Speaker 10: You earned all the hot pockets.
- 48:33Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 48:34Speaker 9: Menace.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Start eating. Wow.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Wow.
- 48:37Speaker 7: Let's check out the senses, though.
- 48:39Speaker 6: On the first try.
- 48:41Speaker 5: It must have been that pronunciation guide that really helped
- 48:43Speaker 5: you out.
- 48:43Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 48:43Speaker 5: Because it looks totally normal.
- 48:45Speaker 7: I mean, do you get that reference from, like, another language?
- 48:49Speaker 7: Or is that, like, legit?
- 48:51Speaker 6: Now, Menace, did you look at the definitions already?
- 48:53Speaker 3: No.
- 48:54Speaker 6: What does it mean?
- 48:54Speaker 2: Don't look.
- 48:55Speaker 7: Cataclysm?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:57Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 48:57Speaker 5: Like.
- 48:59Speaker 7: I would say Devastation, maybe.
- 49:01Speaker 6: Devastation? What is going on? Who are you? And what
- 49:06Speaker 6: have you done with Menace?
- 49:07Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 49:09Speaker 6: Definition number one.
- 49:10Speaker 7: Don't worry, it'll get worse.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 49:12Speaker 7: A momentous and violent event marked by overwhelming upheaval and demolition.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 49:28Speaker 10: Question mark.
- 49:29Speaker 6: All right. Yeah.
- 49:31Speaker 7: A sudden and violent physical action producing changes in the
- 49:35Speaker 7: Earth's surface.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 49:37Speaker 5: Okay.
- 49:38Speaker 7: Flood or deluge or plague or whatever.
- 49:42Speaker 6: Where's plague? I don't know.
- 49:45Speaker 2: D-E-L-U-G-E.
- 49:46Speaker 1: What is that word?
- 49:48Speaker 6: Deluge?
- 49:48Speaker 2: Close.
- 49:50Speaker 6: What would a deluge be? A douche?
- 49:53Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 49:54Speaker 6: A douche.
- 49:55Speaker 7: I mean, I don't know. Flood or dilute?
- 49:58Speaker 6: Dilute.
- 49:59Speaker 5: Yeah. No?
- 50:00Speaker 7: Nah.
- 50:01Speaker 5: You were close. Dilute?
- 50:04Speaker 2: Dilute?
- 50:06Speaker 5: Dilute?
- 50:06Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Dilute?
- 50:08Speaker 7: I don't know that word. It's in the Winter Olympics.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Is it?
- 50:11Speaker 6: Luge?
- 50:12Speaker 7: There it is. Flood or luge?
- 50:14Speaker 5: No.
- 50:14Speaker 9: No.
- 50:15Speaker 5: All right.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 50:17Speaker 5: All right. Moving on.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:19Speaker 5: Just forget it.
- 50:21Speaker 7: Well, let's see. Windish. Okay.
- 50:27Speaker 6: So this is used in a sentence.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:29Speaker 7: Used in a sentence.
- 50:30Speaker 2: It's deluge, by the way.
- 50:31Speaker 7: Deluge.
- 50:32Speaker 1: What is it?
- 50:33Speaker 5: I say deluge.
- 50:34Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Deluge.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Very fancy.
- 50:36Speaker 7: I don't even know what that is.
- 50:36Speaker 5: How do you say it, Seabass?
- 50:38Speaker 6: I would say just deluge. Oh, I've only heard deluge.
- 50:41Speaker 6: I think yours is probably more accurate.
- 50:43Speaker 2: All right.
- 50:44Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 50:44Speaker 6: Of course.
- 50:46Speaker 7: In a sense, the Sagittarius and sexual Detroit Sebastian.
- 50:55Speaker 6: Detroit. The word is A-D-R-O-I-T. Apparently that's how you spell Detroit.
- 51:01Speaker 7: Detroit Sebastian brought in canned snails for an event. Exponarian?
- 51:09Speaker 6: Exponation?
- 51:10Speaker 2: Menace?
- 51:11Speaker 6: I don't know what that word is. Greg knows that
- 51:13Speaker 6: one for sure. What is that word, Greg?
- 51:15Speaker 1: Epignarian?
- 51:16Speaker 3: Close.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Epicurean.
- 51:19Speaker 2: Epicurean.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Epicurean.
- 51:21Speaker 6: I don't know that word.
- 51:22Speaker 5: Food-related.
- 51:23Speaker 6: Don't know that word.
- 51:23Speaker 7: Epicurean.
- 51:24Speaker 5: We're going to go on an Epicurean adventure.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Yeah, don't know that.
- 51:27Speaker 7: Extermination. Menace has unleashed an involuntary cataclysm of heavy hurling
- 51:35Speaker 7: and barfing.
- 51:36Speaker 6: Heaving. Heaving. Not heavy. Heaving, I've heard of.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Oh, heaving. What's the first part of that sentence again?
- 51:41Speaker 7: It said, involuntary cataclysm of heaving, hurling, and barfing.
- 51:46Speaker 10: No, you mean the very first sentence.
- 51:47Speaker 5: I mean the very beginning.
- 51:49Speaker 7: Of the sentence. Oh, sagittarius. Sagittarius. And then that was
- 51:55Speaker 7: brought to you by BBC News Bulletin.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Oh.
- 51:58Speaker 6: He's just skipping his over stuff.
- 52:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just going to keep talking. You'll forget.
- 52:02Speaker 7: S-A-G-A-C-I-O-U-S.
- 52:07Speaker 1: May I?
- 52:07Speaker 6: Please.
- 52:08Speaker 8: Since this is about me from the BBC News. When
- 52:10Speaker 8: the sagacious and sexually adroit Sebastian brought in canned snails
- 52:14Speaker 8: for an epicurean examination, Menace unleashed an involuntary cataclysm.
- 52:17Speaker 7: I can't even hear you, dude. Speak up.
- 52:21Speaker 8: Menace unleashed an involuntary cataclysm of heaving, hurling, and barfing.
- 52:25Speaker 10: What happened?
- 52:27Speaker 5: And it was immortalized even in a pillow.
- 52:29Speaker 7: The first sentence again?
- 52:31Speaker 6: When the sagacious and sexually adroit Sebastian. This is all
- 52:34Speaker 6: just one sentence.
- 52:35Speaker 1: What is that?
- 52:36Speaker 7: What does that even mean?
- 52:40Speaker 6: Well, what's someone who is sage or a sage?
- 52:43Speaker 7: I don't know. That's some crap that they.
- 52:45Speaker 6: They ward off spirits?
- 52:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:47Speaker 6: Like you wave them.
- 52:48Speaker 5: Around the house? Put it in context. You totally know that.
- 52:51Speaker 6: But when a person is that.
- 52:53Speaker 10: Oh, you're such a sage.
- 52:55Speaker 2: What?
- 52:55Speaker 6: Like, for example, I need help with the computer.
- 52:59Speaker 5: I'm going to call Rich on tech. He's the sage
- 53:03Speaker 5: at all things tech.
- 53:04Speaker 7: Who in the hell says that?
- 53:06Speaker 5: Almost everybody.
- 53:07Speaker 6: No. Almost everybody.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Jeff?
- 53:11Speaker 6: Does that sound familiar to you at all?
- 53:12Speaker 5: Yes, I can define it.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you can define it, but do people say that?
- 53:16Speaker 6: In some circles, they do. In this room, I doubt it,
- 53:19Speaker 6: but in some circles, they do.
- 53:21Speaker 14: It's definitely sarcastic, like, look, I'm not a sage, but
- 53:24Speaker 14: this is my opinion.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Who says that?
- 53:26Speaker 15: I've never heard that. I mean, I understand it.
- 53:28Speaker 6: Menace, I'm 1,000% with you on that.
- 53:30Speaker 8: But again, Sammy, that's like saying, a dog's never built
- 53:34Speaker 8: a rocket ship, obviously.
- 53:35Speaker 6: Yeah, we get that. It doesn't add to the conversation. Seabass,
- 53:40Speaker 6: at one point, Were you the one that said you'd
- 53:42Speaker 6: never heard people say doggo when referring to the dogs?
- 53:45Speaker 6: Or was that menace? I saw it a lot on
- 53:48Speaker 6: social media. Oh, my doggo.
- 53:50Speaker 7: I think I said I don't want to hear people
- 53:53Speaker 7: say that.
- 53:53Speaker 6: I probably said that I hate that. It's stupid. It's
- 53:57Speaker 6: obnoxious and unfunny. Just because you've not run into people
- 54:00Speaker 6: who refer to the dog that way doesn't mean that
- 54:04Speaker 6: I understand.
- 54:05Speaker 5: What you're saying.
- 54:06Speaker 6: I believe it's a thing. I do believe it's a thing.
- 54:11Speaker 6: I think it's for smarter people than I. I'm not
- 54:13Speaker 6: running in those circles for being sage. When you say that,
- 54:19Speaker 6: who says that?
- 54:20Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 54:21Speaker 7: It's a good indicator of people I don't want to
- 54:25Speaker 7: hang out with.
- 54:25Speaker 8: The point being that sage would be the same root
- 54:28Speaker 8: word as sagacious. And when you learn lots of words.
- 54:33Speaker 6: I think you're losing them even further. The whole point
- 54:36Speaker 6: of all of this is that.
- 54:37Speaker 7: When you learn lots of words.
- 54:38Speaker 6: I mean, you got gay, right?
- 54:39Speaker 9: Gay.
- 54:40Speaker 6: It's a gay shit I was getting.
- 54:42Speaker 8: When you learn lots of words and you encounter unfamiliar words,
- 54:44Speaker 8: you can often use the words you already know to
- 54:47Speaker 8: interpolate what the other words mean.
- 54:48Speaker 6: What's interpolate? I do know what interpolate is.
- 54:52Speaker 10: Me too. Only from music.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:54Speaker 6: Only from flight training.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Oh.
- 54:56Speaker 11: Oh.
- 54:56Speaker 10: I don't know. Is this an interpolation?
- 55:00Speaker 6: So a droid, I will say, I don't really know
- 55:01Speaker 6: what the word, the root word for that would be.
- 55:03Speaker 5: Droid? I think it's Detroit. Detroit.
- 55:05Speaker 7: That's a mess.
- 55:07Speaker 10: I think it's droid.
- 55:08Speaker 6: I have to remind myself of that. What is today's word?
- 55:12Speaker 7: Oh, cataclysm.
- 55:13Speaker 6: Cataclysm.
- 55:13Speaker 10: Nice.
- 55:15Speaker 6: This edition was a cataclysm.
- 55:18Speaker 5: It just struck me that I have to remind myself
- 55:20Speaker 5: of that. Like when Woody says, like, I can't connect
- 55:23Speaker 5: sage and sagacious, and I've never heard anybody say sage.
- 55:26Speaker 5: You know how to fly an effing plane.
- 55:28Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 55:29Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's never registered with me, people saying something
- 55:33Speaker 6: like that.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Really? Yeah.
- 55:34Speaker 14: Okay, I have a really stupid question. Cataclysm sounds like
- 55:38Speaker 14: that word at church.
- 55:40Speaker 5: Catechism.
- 55:41Speaker 10: Thank you. I was like, what is that word? I
- 55:43Speaker 10: can't think of it. That's a catechism.
- 55:44Speaker 6: Okay, I've heard somebody in the text, sage advice.
- 55:46Speaker 10: That's it.
- 55:47Speaker 5: Sage advice.
- 55:48Speaker 6: I've heard that.
- 55:49Speaker 7: But you can't put the two together.
- 55:51Speaker 6: Well, if you said sage advice, I would understand what
- 55:54Speaker 6: that means.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Right.
- 55:55Speaker 6: That's good advice.
- 55:57Speaker 7: Okay, so there you go.
- 55:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:58Speaker 7: This hates you.
- 55:59Speaker 5: Because you would get that advice from a sage. You've
- 56:01Speaker 5: heard people say that, right?
- 56:02Speaker 6: Oh, that's sage advice?
- 56:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:03Speaker 6: Okay, yeah.
- 56:04Speaker 1: That I have.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I've heard that.
- 56:06Speaker 7: In any other context, no.
- 56:08Speaker 6: Right, like whatever you guys said.
- 56:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:10Speaker 6: I've already forgotten.
- 56:10Speaker 10: Being a sage.
- 56:11Speaker 6: Being a sage.
- 56:12Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 6: Being a, like, no.
- 56:14Speaker 5: He's my sage.
- 56:15Speaker 7: No one's saying that.
- 56:16Speaker 6: Wise old sage. I'm with you, dog.
- 56:17Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 56:18Speaker 6: 877-44-WOODED. Out of the top pockets. You can, uh.
- 56:22Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 6: Let's try it.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Try it out.
- 56:24Speaker 5: Apparently, sagacious means somebody who makes smart, insightful choices after
- 56:28Speaker 5: deep thought.
- 56:29Speaker 6: That sounds like Seabass to me. Sebastian, why are you
- 56:31Speaker 6: using the word sagacious incorrectly? Whoa. Didn't Greg just define
- 56:37Speaker 6: it for us? Three, two, three. I didn't pick it
- 56:40Speaker 6: up clearly because I don't know any of that. Why
- 56:42Speaker 6: are you using the word incorrectly?
- 56:45Speaker 7: You can't just say you're doing it wrong if you
- 56:47Speaker 7: tell me why.
- 56:47Speaker 5: I think you have to take it up with the BBC.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Also, you said that sounds like Seabass.
- 56:51Speaker 7: Where is he?
- 56:53Speaker 3: Kidding.
- 56:54Speaker 6: Right here, buddy.
- 56:55Speaker 9: Oh, okay.
- 56:55Speaker 6: But Greg's right. This is from the BBC, so we're
- 56:57Speaker 6: talking about the BBC.
- 56:58Speaker 5: If you have an issue with it, take it up
- 56:59Speaker 5: with them.
- 56:59Speaker 6: What do you think of this thing that he brought in?
- 57:01Speaker 7: It's very cheesy. It's cheese for it again.
- 57:03Speaker 10: Oh, that's their thing, I guess.
- 57:04Speaker 8: These new snack breaks. It's all cheese. Well, actually, technically,
- 57:07Speaker 8: there's supposed to be bacon in there.
- 57:09Speaker 6: There is?
- 57:10Speaker 7: No, it's all bacon. I mean, all cheese. Just cheese
- 57:13Speaker 7: and bread.
- 57:14Speaker 6: Yeah, what are you giving it? Hot pocket snack break.
- 57:16Speaker 7: Stuffed pretzel.
- 57:18Speaker 6: Stuffed pretzel edition.
- 57:19Speaker 7: I'll give it a 5 out of 10.
- 57:21Speaker 6: A 5 out of 10?
- 57:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it's mid.
- 57:22Speaker 10: I really want to try it.
- 57:28Speaker 6: A lot of wiener news here over the last couple
- 57:31Speaker 6: of days. So now a city commission candidate in Florida,
- 57:35Speaker 6: no longer in the running for office because he had
- 57:38Speaker 6: shut off a few pictures of himself. He was at
- 57:40Speaker 6: a community event. There were like 30-some people plus kids.
- 57:44Speaker 6: And for whatever reason, he decided to show a bunch
- 57:46Speaker 6: of nude pictures of himself to everybody. And in some
- 57:50Speaker 6: of the images... That he was showing, he was doing
- 57:54Speaker 6: the helicopter with his wiener.
- 57:55Speaker 10: Everybody's showing off.
- 57:57Speaker 5: Trying to make Gina jealous.
- 57:58Speaker 6: Not only is it another story involving a wiener, it's
- 58:01Speaker 6: another helicopter wiener story.
- 58:03Speaker 1: So jealous.
- 58:04Speaker 6: That's so weird.
- 58:05Speaker 7: Like, not to have awareness, just like, you shouldn't be
- 58:09Speaker 7: doing that.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:11Speaker 6: So, some people complained to the cops about it. Cops
- 58:14Speaker 6: looked into the whole incident. They have not said that
- 58:16Speaker 6: they have made any kind of arrest or filed any charges.
- 58:19Speaker 6: You know, but... Dude, bizarre.
- 58:22Speaker 14: And he wasn't like, oh my God, how did that
- 58:23Speaker 14: get in there?
- 58:24Speaker 6: Yeah, it's just so weird. I mean, well, guys, it
- 58:28Speaker 6: was a Wiener Helicoptery Day parade.
- 58:31Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 6: No, it's the Chamber of Commerce. Just a Chamber of
- 58:34Speaker 6: Commerce event.
- 58:34Speaker 7: These are the type of weirdos that we just need
- 58:36Speaker 7: to eliminate from society.
- 58:37Speaker 6: Yep, this is what the island's for.
- 58:38Speaker 7: Because they have no awareness that this is not good.
- 58:42Speaker 6: That you should not be doing this. Do I know
- 58:45Speaker 6: who Freddie Jackson is?
- 58:46Speaker 1: Oh, of course, dude.
- 58:49Speaker 5: Freddie Jackson.
- 58:50Speaker 6: Of course. So R & B legend Freddie Jackson died
- 58:55Speaker 6: this week at 70, three days before his birthday, menace.
- 58:58Speaker 6: That's not cool. Birthday move. Imagine that, dude.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I know.
- 59:01Speaker 7: Can't get the full celebration in.
- 59:02Speaker 5: I saw the headline, but I don't think I know
- 59:04Speaker 5: who he is either.
- 59:04Speaker 10: I'm trying to think of any Freddie Jackson songs. I
- 59:06Speaker 10: don't sound familiar.
- 59:07Speaker 1: I'll let you guys discover them on your own.
- 59:09Speaker 10: Freddie.
- 59:09Speaker 2: I know of you.
- 59:10Speaker 6: Freddie Jackson. All right. Let's see what we got here.
- 59:13Speaker 7: That's not.
- 59:14Speaker 8: JG's response sounded kind of like what Menace might say
- 59:16Speaker 8: if he didn't know what he was talking about.
- 59:18Speaker 1: No, come on.
- 59:19Speaker 6: Give me a song.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Rock Me Tonight.
- 59:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Rock Me Tonight.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I actually had a beer with Freddie Jackson once.
- 59:25Speaker 6: See, this is called.
- 59:26Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 59:27Speaker 6: Oh, I know this song.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 59:29Speaker 2: My love. Right?
- 59:31Speaker 6: Is that right? You are my lady.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:35Speaker 7: There's something that I want to say.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Okay.
- 59:39Speaker 10: Uh-huh.
- 59:40Speaker 6: You know the song, right?
- 59:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:44Speaker 6: My love.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Right?
- 59:46Speaker 7: I just want to show.
- 59:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I definitely love it.
- 59:49Speaker 10: I want to slow dance right now so bad.
- 59:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 59:52Speaker 6: Is this not Peebo Bryson? No, it's Freddie Jackson.
- 59:55Speaker 5: They are twinning.
- 59:57Speaker 15: You are the love of my life.
- 59:59Speaker 6: My love.
- 1:00:00Speaker 14: Wasn't the song like those love compilations?
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: Yeah, the Time Life compilations.
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: Yeah, like the romance songs.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: Judy from Time Life.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Uh-huh. What was the other one.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: That said Rock Me Tonight?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Rock Me Tonight is a jam.
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: So is Seventh Grade Sloan.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: You are my lady.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: My love, you're everything I need and more.
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: Yeah, see, I know this part.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Baby making music.
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: You are my lady. You're all I'm living for.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: We do know Freddie.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: We know Freddie.
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: R.I.P.
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: R.I.P. The Freddie.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Aw.
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: You Are My Lady was featured in the film Top
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: 5 in 2014.
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: I like that movie.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: Is it the Chris Rock movie?
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: Right, right.
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: It's one of the only, nobody liked it.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: I thought it was great. I just remember, like, because
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: the stations now that are supposed to be the easy
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: listening stations, they're not. They're, like, playing Pink and Kelly
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: Clarkson and, you know, Backstreet Boys. Like, that song we
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: just heard, the You Are My Lady, this was every
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: easy listening station. This is all you heard.
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: That's the definition.
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: This is, like, Sade.
- 1:01:08Speaker 15: Yes.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: This is it, right?
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: Oh, God, Sade. I can't get enough.
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:12Speaker 10: Michael McDonald.
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: It was like doctor's offices. It was elevator music, right?
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: Yeah. It was like stuff that you could really put
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: on and chill. Every station had it between the sheets.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: No.
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: The station I worked at, it was pop and hip hop,
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: but at 10 o'clock at night, it was turn off
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: the lights with Victor Zaragoza. They would play songs like
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: this all night.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: This is the jam.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: This is Freddie Jackson.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: Yes. Freddie Jackson. Rock me tonight. Featured in love and basketball.
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:01:48Speaker 14: I don't mean to be a jerk, but like who
- 1:01:50Speaker 14: really gets in onto this music?
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: A lot of people.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: Yeah. My wife says that about any song, like who,
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: like who's putting this stuff on and she hates my wife.
- 1:02:00Speaker 10: Music people.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: My wife. I laugh about it too. Like the term
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: make love sucks.
- 1:02:04Speaker 10: Oh, it's horrible.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: Like, I want to make love.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: Make to you.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: Like, oh, God. I mean, other than the boys to
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: men song, I'll make love to you.
- 1:02:12Speaker 10: No, that's the only path.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: It's fine.
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: But even in every song that sounded like that, the
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: 90s was like, there was a part in the song
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: where it break down and it was, baby, I just
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: want to grab you and hold you tight. And it
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: was like they break it down like a little speech.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: I know this song.
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: When is it?
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: It'll go to the hook next, I believe.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: When he's right, like, am I getting my teeth cleaned
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: or am I about to have sex? Maybe both if
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: you go to the right dentist. Dentist office? I'm waiting
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: for the hook. I'm going to give it the respect
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: it deserves.
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: This is no You Are My Lady. Yeah.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Come on.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Building to it.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Oh, my God. We're like eight days into it already.
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: People didn't have ADD back then.
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: You could have one.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Holy crap.
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: This song is seven minutes long.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Right?
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: Seven minutes. Like, you could make love with foreplay in
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: seven minutes.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: That was the point.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: And have a smoke. Yeah. Oh, is this it?
- 1:03:20Speaker 9: Hold on.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: It sounds like it's building. Hold on.
- 1:03:23Speaker 12: Oh.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: For old time's sake.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: Wow, that was worth the wait.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Thank you, Greg.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: What the hell is this crap?
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: Oh, geez.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: He's about to say, roll with me tonight.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: Rock me tonight and roll with me tonight?
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: For old time's sake.
- 1:03:44Speaker 10: For old time's sake.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: For old time's sake.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: And then, ooh, ooh, ooh.
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: Yeah, no, dude, You Are My Lady, that's a jam.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Loved it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: That's a jam.
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: Didn't know I knew it.
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: Rest in peace, Freddie Jackson.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: The Woody Show.
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: Greg, everybody else, do you guys remember this song? We
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: were just talking about Freddie Jackson before the break. Yeah,
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: he passed away. And now it's stuck in my head.
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: You are my lady. My love. You're everything I need
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: and more. But you just said... Make it real. Do
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: you remember this song?
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Of course.
- 1:04:18Speaker 10: Oh, I love this song.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Jets.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you know this, right, Jeff? Of course. I was
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: going to say, if you knew that other Freddie Jackson
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: song and you didn't know this song.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: There's like four great Jets songs.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: It's like they all use the same keyboard and drums
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: that whole decade.
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: There were like a hundred of them, right?
- 1:04:35Speaker 10: Yeah, they're all brother and sister, right?
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: The brother and sister.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Tonight, it's been a year.
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Dude, Greg, this is a good.
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: Cryer, you know?
- 1:04:58Speaker 15: Yeah, this is.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: This is a sip, whine, and cry song.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: Because I think on the B side of this, they
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: had it in Spanish.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: Yeah, they were from Miami, if I'm not mistaken, right?
- 1:05:07Speaker 10: I thought they were, like, Pacific Islanders.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: No, no. No, man.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: Yeah, because, like, the flip side on the... On the vinyl,
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: it was in Spanish.
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: Oh.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: And I would listen to that one a lot because
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: I thought it was cool. I'm like, oh, that's cool.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: They're doing it in another language.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: New Jersey.
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: They're from New Jersey?
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: Like, what's their ethnicity?
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Excuse me.
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: They are Polynesian.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Thank you. Really?
- 1:05:33Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: Tongan American.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Don't play with me on the sets.
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: Great song.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: Though we're apart You're in my heart.
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: Give me one more chance to make it. Dude, I'm
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: going to listen to all these songs today.
- 1:05:55Speaker 10: Yeah, Crush On You.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: Oh, yeah. Crush On You.
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: That was fast. Yeah. Oh, my God.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: Crush On You. I got to pick it up.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: It's so 80s, dude.
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: God, I love that.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: Rules are.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Sammy's just looking around like.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 10: I don't know any of these songs.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: I was too.
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: Grab some pine, Sandy.
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: Sandy. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: This song's the best.
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: You know this one, right, Menace? Yeah, of course.
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: It's a massive song. That was a good one.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: There's another one.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Massive.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: This was couple skate at the skating rink. I was
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: the game.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: He would play.
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you remember this song. He's ripping and ripping.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:18Speaker 10: They get right to the.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: Hook, don't worry.
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: Don't you know, don't you know, don't you know.
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:28Speaker 12: Wait.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: It's going to hit, Greg.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I know it will.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: There it is. Yep.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: You're second versing. Yeah, I'm the second versing.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I love the band. Don't you know, don't
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: you know, you.
- 1:07:51Speaker 15: Got it all over him.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: You got me over him. Honey, it's true.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: There you go, Greg.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: I knew it. There's just you.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: You must have been heaven sent. Hearing me call you
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: in out of the league. And you're all that he's not.
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: Just look what I got. Cause you got it all. Okay.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: All over his head.
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: Screaming. Watch this. Sammy's like just in a fog.
- 1:08:34Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:08:34Speaker 6: Has no idea. But watch this, guys.
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: You're the best girl that I ever did.
- 1:08:38Speaker 15: Oh, heck yes.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: Same here.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: I got your jersey.
- 1:08:41Speaker 15: You take a sip, you buzz like a hornet. Billy
- 1:08:43Speaker 15: Shakespeare wrote a whole bunch of songs. I can't speak, baby.
- 1:08:48Speaker 11: Something in your eyes went and drove me crazy.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Now I can't forget you and it makes me mad.
- 1:08:53Speaker 15: Left one day and never came back. Stayed all summer,
- 1:08:56Speaker 15: then went back home. Macaulay Culkin wasn't home alone.
- 1:09:00Speaker 16: Alone michael j fox was alex p keaton you look

- 1:09:17Speaker 6: LFO summer girls. This was a big one. I've never
- 1:09:20Speaker 6: heard of it. Jeff, you've never heard this one?
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: I've never.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: That was a big song.
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: What?
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: What?
- 1:09:28Speaker 5: I only know it because of Sammy.
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: Really? It's a great song.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: You've never heard it before?
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: That was not in my genre.
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:09:35Speaker 7: When I imagine Sammy's life in high school, it's the
- 1:09:38Speaker 7: movie 10 Things I Hate About You. are Mean Girls,
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: for sure. That's the vibe. That's all these songs, everything.
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: That's the soundtrack.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: Pretty much.
- 1:09:48Speaker 15: I mean, LFO was very much pre that.
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: LFO was 90s.
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: That's the only song from that. Did they have another song?
- 1:09:54Speaker 11: Yeah, they had Girl on TV, which is about Jennifer
- 1:09:58Speaker 11: Love Hewitt.
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: Oh, wow.
- 1:10:00Speaker 7: That was a big song, too.
- 1:10:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: Girl on TV.
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: Did you know the other song that I was thinking of? Jeff,
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: we're talking about all these, like, you know, Freddie Jackson, Jets,
- 1:10:12Speaker 6: all that stuff. How about Quiet Storm songs?
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: Between the Sheets, you guys remember?
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Definitely hit it to this song, for sure.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: Do you know this song, Sammy?
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: Wasn't it called Night and Day?
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: It's called Night and Day, spelled N-I-T-E, Greg, which will
- 1:10:27Speaker 6: probably drive you crazy.
- 1:10:30Speaker 15: I don't believe I've heard this.
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: Song, no.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: What?
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: What?
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: Oh, dude.
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: Really? Fuck you. No one's ever had their hand in
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: your pants.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: In this one?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I actually think I might have lost my virginity to
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: this song.
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: Is that right?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: This was definitely in heavy rotation.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: I mean, I like that it just starts right with
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: a hook.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: He was light-skinned, so he was winning with all the
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: chicks back in the day.
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: He was a hero. Is that the key?
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: So you play everybody, you know?
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: 818 says Greg and Woody should turn off the mics
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: so we can start tonguing for these songs. Yeah.
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: You guys should French.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: Like we have.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: Girl.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: It's one of the ones.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: Girls. Yeah.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: Like toward the end of the song though.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Girl. Yeah.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: I'm going to.
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: Listen to all this stuff today. Let's start a new station.
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: I think it already exists. Not really though.
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: Now we're full on nostalgia train.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: LFO, by the way, you can still go see live.
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: Oh, cool.
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: On the Pop 2004.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: This was on.
- 1:11:44Speaker 8: The New Jack City soundtrack, wasn't it?
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: Yes. This is another one, man. You can really drop
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: some panties in this one.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: And all white dudes, right?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Silk shirt? No, not all. No, one black dude.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:06Speaker 6: This is pretty cool for white people. Yeah, mostly white dudes.
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Yeah, three white dudes, one black dude. Oh, they hate
- 1:12:13Speaker 7: each other now. They jump on stage and sock each
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: other at shows.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: Yeah, Color Me Bad. They had a couple big hits.
- 1:12:22Speaker 6: With two Ds.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: They had a Spanish one, too.
- 1:12:24Speaker 13: Yep.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: I want to make you feel all right.
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh-huh.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: I can't deny, baby.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: I want to love you down.
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: Love you down.
- 1:12:40Speaker 10: Yeah, that was a big one.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: You are so nice.
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: All I want to do is.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: I wanna sex.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: You up Tick tock, you don't stop.
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: So good Yeah, dude Performing this weekend at a private
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: event in New York City What, Color Me Bad? Yeah Really?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: I couldn't. Someone's like 60th birthday.
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: Probably. God, man. I was thinking like, if I can invent,
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: what were you asking the other day, Gina? You said
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: if you can, like, uh, if you woke up.
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: Oh yeah.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: In 1995.
- 1:13:17Speaker 12: 1995.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: What is the first thing you would do?
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: Uh, I saw a bunch of the answers and obviously
- 1:13:25Speaker 10: the main one.
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: Get my stuff together for school. That was my senior
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: year of high school.
- 1:13:28Speaker 10: But if you as yourself woke up like, oh my God,
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: it's 1995.
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: So my adult song.
- 1:13:34Speaker 14: Most people said, call their mom and dad immediately and say,
- 1:13:37Speaker 14: there's this company called Apple.
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: You got to dump money into it.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: There's a lot of that. I would call my grandparents.
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: I was thinking about them the other day. Not to
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: bum everybody out, but I had.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: One of those.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: A song came on. And, oh, man, I love this song.
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: It was from the 80s. And I started doing that
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: thing where you do that, like, in your mind. You're like,
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: what was going on at this time? And I was
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: thinking about all the people, like family members, aunts, you know, uncles,
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: different people who are no longer with us. And I
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: started thinking about my grandfather. I started thinking about my grandmother.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: And I'm like, man, like, they were... They were alive
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: and well. My grandma was still living on her own. So, yeah,
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: that's what I would do. I think if 95 I
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: woke up, those would be my first two phone calls.
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: I'd call my grandfather and my grandmother.
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: That's sweet. There was another answer I remember that said,
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: this is sad. This is the same vibe.
- 1:14:28Speaker 14: He's like, oh, well, I would call my dad and
- 1:14:30Speaker 14: tell him to get a colonoscopy because he ended up
- 1:14:32Speaker 14: dying of colon cancer.
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: That's a fun killing right there.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: Well, no, I mean, you know. Other than that, I
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: would turn the radio on.
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: Browse Tower Records. Walk around a record shop all day.
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: Wait, am I in an adult body or am I
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: in my high school body?
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: You are yourself now.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: It's 13 going on 30.
- 1:14:51Speaker 6: The DeLorean showed up. You punched in 1995. And you
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: showed up as yourself now.
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: As yourself now? Yeah.
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: Your age now. Oh, see, if we could go back
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: to the age. Your biati now.
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: My answer would change drastically if I could be that
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: age again.
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: Yeah, if I was young in 1985.
- 1:15:07Speaker 5: Go through such a whore phase.
- 1:15:09Speaker 7: Saves you straight.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: So many goatees.
- 1:15:13Speaker 5: Because if you thought you were, like, old and lame,
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: you're like, oh, my God, I'm young and not lame.
- 1:15:17Speaker 10: So many frosted tips.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:15:20Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: I'm going to give you one more throwback, like, make
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: and love throwback.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:15:26Speaker 6: Let's see. How about you guys remember... Oh, wait. Hold
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: on one second. That's not working.
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: All right. Yeah.
- 1:15:33Speaker 9: Here.
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: Do you guys remember this one?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. Come on.
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: Not yet.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Can anybody name the group?
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: Yeah, I can.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I threw it in there.
- 1:15:42Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: You know this part, Greg. I do?
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: You've heard this.
- 1:15:50Speaker 9: I haven't.
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: Let me do all the things you want me to do.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Was this a real?
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: A big hit.
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: Because tonight, baby, I want to get freaky with you.
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: This would have been Greg's anthem.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: It sounds like the band in The Hangover that does
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: the wedding reception.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:16:24Speaker 15: A big band.
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: And they were serious. This is not a joke.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: They were for real.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: It's hot. I just want to. Uh-oh.
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: Oh, man.
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: This song was huge, Greg.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: Silk, right?
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: Silk, yeah. Remember, Sandy, no freaking.
- 1:16:45Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: Not loud. Stop.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: This is probably the hangover band.
- 1:16:53Speaker 6: We're going to take a quick break. We've got some
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: more Woody Show for you next. Hang on.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: The Woody Show will be.
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: There's been a lot of chatter. And you've seen a
- 1:17:08Speaker 6: lot of comedians pop up on social media talking about
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: our favorite guy, Sebastian Maniscalco.
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: He's getting a lot of shout-outs.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: About how hilarious and original he is and how all
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: his jokes have.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Points to them.
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: And that is a conversation for another day. Indeed. You know,
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: discussing his comedy.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Well, so.
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: There was a comedy channel on SiriusXM called like Rock
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: Dog Comedy or whatever, right? Yeah. And so it would
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: be a bunch of different comedians. They would play different
- 1:17:41Speaker 6: bits and whatever from different comedians.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: Tons of different, yeah.
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: Yeah. And then Sirius did a deal with Sebastian Maniscalco
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: where they gave him ownership of the channel, kind of
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: like other celebrities have their own channels on SiriusXM. And
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: they gave him this comedy channel. It was Sebastian Maniscalco's comedy, right? Like,
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: you're so good at comedy, you pick the best because
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: you're the greatest.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: And so when they did that, they changed up the
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: way that they were doing things, meaning they went from
- 1:18:09Speaker 6: however many, say, 800 comedians that were in a regular
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: rotation on the channel that you would hear down to
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: 300 or something. Something like that.
- 1:18:17Speaker 8: And the 800 were often lesser known or regional comics.
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: You never heard of.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: Yeah. So when they did that, And I never really
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: thought about it, I guess. I just thought it was
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: like a promotional vehicle for them. But they were making
- 1:18:33Speaker 6: royalties when their bit would play.
- 1:18:36Speaker 10: That's good.
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: So if whoever, Bert Kreischer, had a bit that would
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: play on that channel, he would then get like a
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: royalty check. And so a lot of the comics were like, hey, man,
- 1:18:48Speaker 6: like this is really cutting. my financial situation.
- 1:18:53Speaker 7: And you might say, how much?
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: Well, might only have been 15 or 30 bucks per play. Yeah,
- 1:18:57Speaker 6: but see, I looked into it. Yeah, because I was like, wow,
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: it's a lot more than I thought. Because you hear
- 1:19:02Speaker 6: about Snoop Dogg, who's talking about he has X number
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: of streams on Spotify and he got like.
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: $ 50, 000.
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: For a billion streams.
- 1:19:12Speaker 10: Yeah, because it's like a fraction of a cent.
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: I'm like, okay, so you break it down like that.
- 1:19:15Speaker 6: So let's say it was 10 a month.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:19:19Speaker 6: The comedian would get $ 150. So if they played 10
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: times in a month, if they played 500 times a month,
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: that's $ 7, 500 a month. So when they're talking about some
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: of the comedians that were on, they're saying, yeah, like
- 1:19:32Speaker 6: I'm using this to help pay my rent.
- 1:19:34Speaker 10: It's a good supplement, yeah.
- 1:19:36Speaker 6: One comedian was talking about how it was covering, you know,
- 1:19:38Speaker 6: diapers and formula for their baby. But yeah, and they're
- 1:19:43Speaker 6: asking Sebastian to do the right thing. And and to
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: go back to the way it was. Now, the other
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: side of this is how much do you really think
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: Sebastian Maniscalco is in control of any of this? This
- 1:19:57Speaker 6: is kind of like when Greg talks about Celebrities that
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: have a makeup line. They're not in the lab. Right.
- 1:20:02Speaker 6: And working on, you know, this new lipstick or whatever.
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: Just put their name on it.
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: Their name is attached to it. And there's no effing
- 1:20:09Speaker 6: way that Sebastian Maniscalco is pouring over the playlist of
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: who is getting played and who's not.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: He's not going to any office.
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: Unless, now I'm sure, because there is a lot of
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: beefing and infighting within the comedy world. right yeah sure
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: oh yeah yeah they're very catty they're very you know
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: they're competitive and they're you know there's a lot of
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: insecurity in comedy and there's a lot of like all
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: those things right So maybe there were a handful who
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: was like, hey, F that guy. F this guy. F
- 1:20:40Speaker 6: that chick. He's not going to be on there anymore.
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: What are you doing?
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: Yeah, so those handful were taken. But he's not on
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: a daily basis. To be fair to a person we
- 1:20:48Speaker 6: don't even like. And who sucks, yeah. And who sucks. Like,
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: I don't think he's pouring over the playlist either.
- 1:20:55Speaker 8: That being said, something– changed specifically. So a decision was
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: made to go from this wide pool of comics to
- 1:21:02Speaker 8: mostly well-known names.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: Someone made that choice. And they added in Joan Rivers
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: and Norm Macdonald. They were saying there was a bunch
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: of dead celebrities, but better known dead celebrities, or some
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: other bigger comics that didn't necessarily need the royalties who
- 1:21:17Speaker 6: were now more prominently featured. And I read a little
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: bit more into it, and I guess the way it
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: worked was And the reason for this whole thing in
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: the beginning, and it makes sense from a business standpoint,
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: the channel wasn't doing well. Like they weren't getting a
- 1:21:33Speaker 6: ton of, so they didn't just change it just because,
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: you know, to put Sebastian Maniscalco on it. They did
- 1:21:38Speaker 6: it hoping that he would bring more attention to the
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: service and to this particular channel going, oh, well, you've
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: got a big audience. If you like Sebastian Maniscalco, You
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: should check out all these, quote, curated comics.
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: Who are just the famous ones.
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: To try to get more listening on the channel.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: What are they saying when they mean they're not doing well?
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: How's that? That thing, because it's not a rated.
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: They measure. They know how many people.
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: Well, money.
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: Yeah, because every radio that is subscribed to SiriusXM, they
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: know if they can turn your individual radio off, they
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: know what it's listening to or what you got tuned in.
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: If you're, same thing through the app.
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: I know for sure.
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: It's like how Netflix does. It's the same thing. Netflix
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: knows exactly what you're.
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: I wasn't aware about the radio part.
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: Oh, yeah, because every radio has an individual ID. Yeah,
- 1:22:25Speaker 6: it's all digital.
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it's all digital.
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: So this is a version of what we hear. This
- 1:22:30Speaker 8: is a version of play the hits. This is, we're
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: going to play the most.
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: Variety is bad.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: No deep cuts. No undiscovered artists. This is where it's
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: going to play the famous people. And that's good. And
- 1:22:40Speaker 6: guess what?
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: That works because the vast majority of people don't care
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: about deep cut.
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 1:22:45Speaker 8: That's why when you listen to whatever the pop radio station,
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: you hear the same 10 songs every hour.
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: Or it's the Chili Peppers every five minutes. Right. That's
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: not our fault. And they go, well, what about this band,
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: the new and upcoming bands that nobody's ever, the local
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: music and bands? Well, it's because nobody really, you know.
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: People aren't sticking around. They've done stations like that, and
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: they don't bring in enough ratings to then turn it
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: into revenue. It becomes that way because of the business side.
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: It does suck, man, because there's a lot of the...
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: I've seen names of people that, oh, I like them.
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: They're funny. Or we know that they're on the rise,
- 1:23:20Speaker 6: and they haven't quite hit that Joe Coy selling out
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: arenas and stadiums yet. And they could really use that money.
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: So I'm kind of stuck because I don't think Sebastian
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: has anything. As much as I hate him, I think
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: it sucks. I think it sucks that he is taking
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: the brunt of it.
- 1:23:40Speaker 10: Yeah, because his name's on the door now.
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: His name's on the door. It's like if something happens
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: with this show, even if it's something I wasn't responsible for,
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: like there's sometimes people will take issue with, who was it?
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: What was it? Ashley Madison. Remember the- The cheating website?
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: Sign up here and you can cheat on your spouse
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: with other people who are married and looking to cheat.
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: And they were running- commercials for that during our show
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: man we would get people F you I'm not listening
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: and so I would bring it up to the people
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: who did make those decisions and go hey man like
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: I'm getting a lot of heat because we've taken a
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: very clear stance against cheaters and things like that before
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: Sammy started before Sammy started right and and and so
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: like that but that was something that was beyond my
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: control but because it's called the Woody show they're venting
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: to me as if I'm control of every person who
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: runs an ad on the station.
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: We did it every election cycle. The person that they
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: don't like runs an ad and it's during our show.
- 1:24:37Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: We didn't.
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: Why do you guys, why do you guys play this?
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: It's not like, you know who I'd love to have?
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: Ashley Madison.
- 1:24:45Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: I want them to advertise. I want the bot farm.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: So, I mean, it's a, it's a tough position. I
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: think that Sirius XM, they don't care because they're trying
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: to do whatever it is to get more people to
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: listen to these channels.
- 1:24:59Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:25:00Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: And at the same time, the comedians, obviously, they have
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: a vested interest because, I mean, they're making that's a
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: lot more than I thought.
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: But people really want to check out that channel.
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: They already have comedy greats. Netflix is a joke. Kevin Hart.
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: There's plenty of options on there.
- 1:25:16Speaker 10: But hearing a great bit and being like, I've never
- 1:25:18Speaker 10: heard of that dude. And now I'm going to look
- 1:25:20Speaker 10: his stuff up.
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: I love that.
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: Or a woman.
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: Tell everybody to check out What's Wrong With People from
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: Sebastian Maniscalco on Netflix. Might change his mind on Sebastian.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: I doubt it.
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: We've done deep dives on his movies, on his stand-up.
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: Let me tell you, he's fooling you. He's doing the
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: things that a comedian should do and making funny voices
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: like a cartoon character does.
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: And the deep dives worked on me. I'm a changed man.
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: I was one of the people that laughed. But he
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: went back on the movie.
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: I liked the movie, though.
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: And the thing with comedy, it's like anything else. It's subjective.
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: It's completely arbitrary. You know, based on the person, one
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: person may really like this. The other person really doesn't.
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: But for whatever reason, it's it's their brand of comedy.
- 1:26:04Speaker 6: It's their brand of music or their type of movie.
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: And it's not like one is right or wrong. I mean, obviously,
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: he's got enough people that find him hilarious.
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: And there's plenty of people that I think are super funny.
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: And I'm like, man, why aren't they bigger?
- 1:26:19Speaker 10: Yeah, why doesn't everybody know them?
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: Like some of these dumb movies that Greg talks about
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: that he watches on Amazon Prime. They're not dumb. It's
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: like the bargain bin of movies. And he's like, oh
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: my God, it's the best movie ever.
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: Shout out to Jexy.
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: Jess would have won an Oscar. Yeah, so it's like
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: you really love it. It doesn't mean that you can
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: love it any less or have to love it any less.
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: None of that affects me.
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: It just means you're wrong to love it.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: No, very right.
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: Like some of this music, man, that people are like, oh,
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: this is so great. I'm like, are we hearing the
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: same thing? This band blows.
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: It's just, you know.
- 1:26:53Speaker 8: And Sirius is a private company.
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: They don't have to pay these comedians, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: We all get that.
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: I've seen this bubbling up for a few months now
- 1:26:59Speaker 8: because of these local comedians that I'm friendly with.
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: But it really exploded. Yeah. Bert posted something pretty funny.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: Bert Kreischer. Let me find. He posted it on Instagram.
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: And people were hitting me up because we know Bert.
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: They go, is this real? Where the hell is it?
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: Burt would have made a car payment 15 years ago
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: on a channel like this. Yeah, Burt posted this. It says, comedians,
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: please stop posting videos to Sebastian and just call him.
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: That's how this should work, and it's a phone number.
- 1:27:29Speaker 9: Oh, man.
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: It's a 3-2-3 number. Oh, damn. Is that really his number?
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: I'm like, well, he and Bert are friends. Like, Bert
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: and Sebastian are friends. That's actually Bert's and Tom's number. Oh,
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: it is?
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: Okay, well, see, there you go. So, yeah, he wouldn't
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: be stupid. He wouldn't do that. You'd get kicked off
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: the platform. Okay, Bert, Joe, Gabriel Iglesias, all these people
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: that we're friends with, some people will say, okay, you
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: don't like Sebastian Maniscalco, but you think Joe Coy is funny.
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: Well, yeah. And I can't explain the difference why.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: I just do. And that's the subjective part.
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: Right. Of course.
- 1:28:05Speaker 10: Which comedy is.
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: Correct.
- 1:28:07Speaker 10: Always.
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: And just because somebody see that.
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: No, I said because I would say the difference between
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: them and Sebastian. Sebastian just comes off smug.
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: But isn't that part of his thing?
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:28:22Speaker 7: That's a character.
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: Is that funny?
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: Lewis Black is just pissed.
- 1:28:25Speaker 10: At least.
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: Is that funny?
- 1:28:26Speaker 10: Well, it's funny to a lot of people.
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: I think Lewis Black's funny. Joe has a payoff to
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: what he's saying. Sebastian does not. It doesn't go anywhere.
- 1:28:34Speaker 8: And again, we've analyzed it hundreds of times, people. You're
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: not going to convince us. We've got the data on
- 1:28:38Speaker 8: our side.
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: Yeah, but is it a science or is it more
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: of like an art to have the lack of a better.
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: That's what I'm saying is that if you look at
- 1:28:46Speaker 8: Sebastian Maniscalco, look at Dane Cook, look at Chris D'Elia,
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: They know the rhythms of comedy. And like Dave Attell
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: did this years ago where like he would say gobbledygook,
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: but he'd say it in the cadence of set up punchline.
- 1:28:58Speaker 7: And people would still laugh at it.
- 1:28:59Speaker 10: You know your cue to laugh.
- 1:29:00Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:29:01Speaker 15: Oh, I love Jane Cook. Oh, my gosh. Hilarious. When
- 1:29:05Speaker 15: he first came out.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: The super finger.
- 1:29:08Speaker 15: I could not get enough.
- 1:29:09Speaker 5: Great.
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: Does it make sense? That's another one I didn't get
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: at the time.
- 1:29:13Speaker 5: I never heard his voice. routines.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:29:16Speaker 8: He popped up on, I was listening to, uh, like the, uh,
- 1:29:19Speaker 8: just for laughs, which is, uh, the Montreal comedy festival.
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: And it was like, dang cup, 1997. I was like,
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: Oh my God. It was just, here's a dinosaur noise.
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: And here's, here's, I, I went, My sister showed up
- 1:29:31Speaker 8: and she's.
- 1:29:32Speaker 7: Rifling through tissues because she blows her nose too.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: It's very theatrical. It's cartoon of sound effects for little kids.
- 1:29:39Speaker 6: Like the stuff that we do or that we talk about.
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: And people go, oh man, I really like the Woody show.
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: Other people hate our guts. And they're like, oh, it's
- 1:29:46Speaker 6: the worst show I've ever heard. You guys are wrong.
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: So something for everybody, right?
- 1:29:52Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: With that said, I do want to watch the Dane
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: Cook documentary. about his brother stealing the money. Yeah, that's crazy.
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: Oh, it's so cute. I need it.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: I got to have it.
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: All right, welcome back. We were talking about the... drama
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: you've seen i'm sure uh if you follow any comedian
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: at all i'm sure it's like uh gotten to your
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: algorithm where all these other comedians are taking issue with
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: being uh axed off of the serious xm channel like
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: the raw dog comedy which is now the sebastian maniscalco
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: comedy channel and they're saying hey sebastian do the right
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: thing and you know Bring us back. We need the royalties.
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: Then we got into a whole discussion about what's funny,
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: what's not funny. Look, everybody likes different things. Different music, movies, comedy.
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: And that's allowed. It's for whatever reason. Again, I was saying, here,
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: I'll give you a perfect example. Here's a guy on
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: our own After Hours voicemail. Doesn't like us. Doesn't like me.
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: I don't give a shit.
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: Hey, Woody, you suck. See? I don't care if you
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: guys are recording me. I don't care if you're recording.
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: I mean, if you're recording live.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Hey, everybody.
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: It's the Woody Show.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: Blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: T-Bass is the.
- 1:31:14Speaker 6: Only cool person on there. Thank you. And I'm so
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: tired of everyone else.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: I'm so tired.
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: So different shows, different folks. So it just happens.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: It happens.
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: Jeff is pulling a clip from... Tyler, the creator. Because
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: this clip keeps popping up too. Just about like, hey man,
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: like what you like.
- 1:31:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: It's fine. You're allowed to not like whatever it is.
- 1:31:40Speaker 10: What a controversial opinion.
- 1:31:41Speaker 6: I don't get the Pokemon thing at all. Like these
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: adults going nuts for Pokemon. Don't get it. Didn't get
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: the little boo-boo thing. Didn't get it.
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: But go out and do it.
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: Go for it. Do what you gotta do.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: All day.
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: Yeah, go for it.
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: Quit your job.
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: To show that everybody's kind of different. Or maybe, you know,
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: because we're birds of a feather. We flock together. Maybe
- 1:31:58Speaker 6: it'll be more similar than I think. You have to
- 1:32:01Speaker 6: remove three of these things forever. Three of these things
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: will be gone forever. Beer, steak, football, video games, dogs, coffee, music, sex.
- 1:32:21Speaker 10: Damn.
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: So you have to remove three of those forever.
- 1:32:27Speaker 10: Beloved item.
- 1:32:28Speaker 6: Which one? Which three? Are you getting rid of Forever?
- 1:32:31Speaker 6: Is this the clip, Jeff? This is the Tyler, the
- 1:32:33Speaker 6: creator clip? Yeah, so while you guys are thinking on that,
- 1:32:36Speaker 6: you can text yours over to 22987. This is that
- 1:32:40Speaker 6: clip that's popping up.
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: If you're into it, you're into it. I do see
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: people be like, yo, I listen to this album or something,
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: and I don't get it. Tell me what I'm missing.
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: Maybe you just don't like it, and it's okay. You
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: don't have to force yourself to like some shit that
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: you just did not react to, and that's fine, and
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: move on. It's so crazy. People be forcing themselves to
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: like shit they don't fuck with. And it's like, just
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: don't like it and move the fuck on. So I
- 1:33:04Speaker 4: don't think people should like me. If they like me
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: and they fuck with me, I think that's incredible. But
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: I don't think they need to because people grew up different.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: They have a different ear. Like, whatever.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:17Speaker 6: So there you go.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: That's a fact.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: And Jeff was saying, that's why people like Tyler, the
- 1:33:21Speaker 6: creator so much.
- 1:33:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: He's super authentic, man. He is who he is. And
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: if you rock with him, you rock with him.
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: If you don't, you don't. Yeah.
- 1:33:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: See best.
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: If you rock with them, you rock. Yeah.
- 1:33:30Speaker 7: Tyler, the creator, you would like Tyler creator, right? See
- 1:33:33Speaker 7: best because he's so creative.
- 1:33:36Speaker 6: Uh, I mean, he's, he's odd.
- 1:33:37Speaker 7: If he, while he's out for you to see.
- 1:33:40Speaker 8: What you did there, but yeah, we've had an argument
- 1:33:45Speaker 8: with me before about this, his adult swim show where
- 1:33:47Speaker 8: I first saw him was a loiter squad.
- 1:33:49Speaker 6: And I was like, eh, it's just like, it's theater
- 1:33:52Speaker 6: kids trying to do jackass.
- 1:33:53Speaker 8: So like, I respect that he's, I mean, I don't,
- 1:33:56Speaker 8: I'm not mad at people for going to his, you know,
- 1:33:58Speaker 8: festivals or whatever, but I've never really listened to any
- 1:34:01Speaker 8: of his stuff or watched any of his stuff or
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: find him particularly interesting.
- 1:34:04Speaker 6: All right, so you have to remove three forever. Beer, steak, football,
- 1:34:08Speaker 6: video games, dogs, coffee, music, sex. Somebody just texted in
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: the most recent text is exactly my list. The three
- 1:34:16Speaker 6: I'm getting rid of, beer, video games, sex, Coffee.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: Oh, not coffee.
- 1:34:22Speaker 10: That's what I got.
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: Beer, video games, coffee. I'm surprised you kept football because
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: you're not a sports person.
- 1:34:27Speaker 14: I don't know anything about football, but I know it
- 1:34:29Speaker 14: makes people happy. And I'm not going to take away
- 1:34:31Speaker 14: something that's communal.
- 1:34:32Speaker 7: It's about you.
- 1:34:33Speaker 5: Yeah, this is yours.
- 1:34:33Speaker 10: Yeah, but it makes me happy. Like when my husband's
- 1:34:35Speaker 10: watching and he's having a good time. I don't care
- 1:34:38Speaker 10: about coffee. It gives me a stomachache. I never drink it.
- 1:34:40Speaker 10: I'd rather keep football.
- 1:34:41Speaker 6: So you're the same. Beer, football. I'm sorry. Beer, video games,
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: and coffee. Greg, what do you got?
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: I have video games.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:34:49Speaker 6: Beer.
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: And football, because I'm trying not to like football anymore.
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: He's trying not to.
- 1:34:55Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: And beer. Don't need it. I love it.
- 1:34:58Speaker 6: But you have that connection with your dad. So why
- 1:34:59Speaker 6: would you be trying not to? Damn it, I didn't
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: think about that. I didn't think about that.
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: But I could not live without dogs, coffee, music, sex.
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: Menace.
- 1:35:12Speaker 7: I am getting rid of video games, coffee, and football. Now,
- 1:35:19Speaker 7: I do love coffee, and I do love football, but
- 1:35:22Speaker 7: I could live without them.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 1:35:24Speaker 6: Of everything else on that list, we've got to get
- 1:35:26Speaker 6: three from the list.
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: Seabass?
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:35:29Speaker 6: Which three are you getting rid of? Coffee, I mean, look,
- 1:35:32Speaker 6: I get a lot of people who are like, oh,
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: that's their personality. Don't even talk to me before I've
- 1:35:35Speaker 6: had my coffee.
- 1:35:36Speaker 8: It's really interesting, but there are other substitutes for caffeine. Beer,
- 1:35:39Speaker 8: there are other substitutes for beer. And I want to
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: say dogs. However, just because I personally don't... I mean,
- 1:35:48Speaker 8: I've had dogs, whatever, they're fine, but they are very
- 1:35:50Speaker 8: useful tools.
- 1:35:52Speaker 7: So because of that- They're a beast of burden.
- 1:35:54Speaker 8: Because of that, I will say video games because I
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: think video games are fun, but you cannot argue they're
- 1:36:00Speaker 8: anything but a waste of time.
- 1:36:02Speaker 7: I remember in the 80s, people would say, oh, but
- 1:36:04Speaker 7: they develop hand-eye coordination.
- 1:36:06Speaker 6: For what? Moving your thumb?
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: That's not a useful skill. I mean, look at the
- 1:36:10Speaker 6: three of us are all on the same page.
- 1:36:12Speaker 10: Crazy.
- 1:36:13Speaker 6: Myself, Gina, Seabass so far. What do you got, Sammy?
- 1:36:15Speaker 9: Crazy.
- 1:36:16Speaker 15: I said video games was easy. I don't need video games.
- 1:36:20Speaker 15: The other two were difficult. I did go with coffee
- 1:36:22Speaker 15: as one of them.
- 1:36:23Speaker 11: I drink coffee every morning, I know, but I'm like,
- 1:36:25Speaker 11: maybe I can switch to tea or figure out something,
- 1:36:28Speaker 11: another way to get caffeine.
- 1:36:29Speaker 15: I think I can do that.
- 1:36:30Speaker 11: And then the third one was steak, which I love,
- 1:36:34Speaker 11: but everything else was way more important.
- 1:36:36Speaker 15: Beer, football, dogs, music, sex, need them.
- 1:36:39Speaker 5: Steak, sorry.
- 1:36:41Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: Sorry, steak.
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: You're out.
- 1:36:43Speaker 10: I'll take your steak.
- 1:36:44Speaker 6: I didn't say cheating. It's just regular sex.
- 1:36:47Speaker 15: Oh, in that case.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Jeff G.
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: Rethink it.
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: Get rid of video games for all the reasons that
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: Seabass said. I'm an IBS gang, so no steak for
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: me anyways. And then tequila can substitute beer. So video games, steak,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: and beer.
- 1:37:02Speaker 10: That's crazy.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: Steak and beer. Yep. Love music too much. Love coffee
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: too much. Love my dogs too much.
- 1:37:07Speaker 5: And of course, love sex too much.
- 1:37:11Speaker 6: I'm seeing way more people texting dogs than I anticipated.
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:37:15Speaker 6: Football, dogs, video games. Coffee, dogs, football.
- 1:37:18Speaker 8: Well, there was, did we talk about recently, like the
- 1:37:21Speaker 8: newest studies show that I think for the first time
- 1:37:23Speaker 8: in a long time, kittens at home have overtaken puppies
- 1:37:26Speaker 8: at home.
- 1:37:27Speaker 7: That's, well, the cost too. It's, you know, cats are
- 1:37:30Speaker 7: like five cents.
- 1:37:31Speaker 6: This person says easy beer, football, video games. This one
- 1:37:36Speaker 6: says sex because at this point I'm considered a nun,
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: video games and steak.
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: I mean, unless it's a ribeye, I would put steak
- 1:37:43Speaker 5: on my list.
- 1:37:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I had to keep beer because I've switched. I mean,
- 1:37:47Speaker 7: I rarely drink hard alcohol anymore.
- 1:37:50Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, beer I never drink because I'm drinking tequila.
- 1:37:54Speaker 6: Video games. Used to play video games. Really enjoyed sports
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: and the Grand Theft Auto kind of stuff. I'd never
- 1:37:59Speaker 6: gotten to a ton of other games. But yeah, at
- 1:38:02Speaker 6: this point in my life, it's fine. And then coffee,
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: just can't drink it.
- 1:38:05Speaker 5: You've always hated it.
- 1:38:06Speaker 6: Yeah. All right, welcome back, everybody. Hey. You know, we
- 1:38:14Speaker 6: talk about things that are way more expensive than you
- 1:38:18Speaker 6: would expect them to be. So, outdoor furniture.
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 1:38:22Speaker 10: It's insane.
- 1:38:24Speaker 7: Concrete.
- 1:38:25Speaker 6: Fake plants.
- 1:38:26Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:27Speaker 9: You know?
- 1:38:28Speaker 6: Yeah, the front door.
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: Front door.
- 1:38:30Speaker 7: Concrete.
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:38:31Speaker 6: All that stuff, right? Dude, school pictures. When you got kids.
- 1:38:36Speaker 10: Just ordered those.
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: I didn't know they still did though.
- 1:38:39Speaker 6: Oh yeah, they still do.
- 1:38:41Speaker 15: Highway robbery.
- 1:38:42Speaker 6: Oh man. And it's, it is a rip off because
- 1:38:45Speaker 6: they don't care. The kids come in there disheveled. Yep.
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: You know, because you might, you might send them out like, oh,
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: it's picture day and you get them all looking decent and,
- 1:38:53Speaker 6: hair brushed and stuff. It doesn't make it that far.
- 1:38:55Speaker 6: And you get the picture and you're just like, holy hell,
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: what the hell happened?
- 1:38:58Speaker 14: Yeah, we just did it and I said the same thing.
- 1:39:00Speaker 14: He goes, well, we didn't have pictures until after recess
- 1:39:03Speaker 14: and P.E.
- 1:39:03Speaker 6: I'm like, well, that was smart of the school.
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:39:05Speaker 5: So then you do a little set, right? Like a
- 1:39:07Speaker 5: five by ten and a.
- 1:39:08Speaker 6: Well, they send you the proof online so you can
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: see the picture online. It's, of course, watermarks and stuff
- 1:39:14Speaker 6: so you can't just print it there and it's a
- 1:39:15Speaker 6: lesser quality, not so sharp and things. And they're not,
- 1:39:20Speaker 6: it's not a great picture, but it's the, it's the
- 1:39:22Speaker 6: official picture, right? It's the one for, yeah, for this,
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: for this grade. And man, it's, it's a ton of money.
- 1:39:29Speaker 5: Is it in the hundreds?
- 1:39:30Speaker 6: It depends on what package you get, but even for
- 1:39:32Speaker 6: the most basic one, it's almost a hundred bucks.
- 1:39:34Speaker 14: And the basic ones don't include a digital picture.
- 1:39:37Speaker 10: So you have to go old school and cut with
- 1:39:38Speaker 10: the scissors, you know, cut little squares out the wallet size.
- 1:39:41Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a rip, dude.
- 1:39:42Speaker 10: Because, you know, we're all carrying pictures in our wallet still.
- 1:39:45Speaker 6: So parents are now using AI to fake their kids'
- 1:39:48Speaker 6: school portraits instead of paying the photographer.
- 1:39:50Speaker 7: Oh, that's a good idea.
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: Super easy.
- 1:39:51Speaker 6: So, you know, they say anywhere these school pictures go,
- 1:39:54Speaker 6: anywhere from $ 100 all the way up to $ 250 for
- 1:39:59Speaker 6: school pictures.
- 1:39:59Speaker 10: Yeah, if you want, like, it embossed or whatever.
- 1:40:02Speaker 6: And some are uploading kid photos to AI for, you know,
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: that whole, like, background look that they use to make
- 1:40:08Speaker 6: it look the same as all the other school pictures.
- 1:40:10Speaker 6: And then Others are using the AI to erase the
- 1:40:13Speaker 6: watermarks for the unpaid proofs that you get.
- 1:40:17Speaker 10: That's stealing.
- 1:40:19Speaker 6: So it is. Now, here's the thing. They said that
- 1:40:21Speaker 6: could get you fined up to $ 150, 000 for copyright infringement.
- 1:40:27Speaker 7: If you publish it.
- 1:40:28Speaker 10: Well, that's what they're going to do, obviously.
- 1:40:31Speaker 5: One of the.
- 1:40:32Speaker 6: Reasons when you sent us your picture is for Judge
- 1:40:35Speaker 6: My Baby. We ask you the question. Number one, are
- 1:40:38Speaker 6: you sure you're cool with us posting these? Number two,
- 1:40:41Speaker 6: these are your photos. You took these. You own the rights.
- 1:40:44Speaker 6: If somebody else took them, you bought the rights of
- 1:40:49Speaker 6: your kid.
- 1:40:50Speaker 7: It doesn't mean that that's your photo.
- 1:40:51Speaker 6: Yeah, correct. So judge my baby. We're closing everything out.
- 1:40:56Speaker 6: And I got to tell you, man, the numbers are
- 1:40:58Speaker 6: good as far as the number of people who went
- 1:41:01Speaker 6: and looked at the photos. A decent amount of comments
- 1:41:04Speaker 6: on there. Really good. Now, again, this is the whole
- 1:41:07Speaker 6: point of Judge My Baby is so parents know the
- 1:41:11Speaker 6: truth if they got a cute baby or not. Because
- 1:41:13Speaker 6: parents are real quick to whip those photos out and
- 1:41:16Speaker 6: show them off to everybody.
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:41:18Speaker 6: And you're putting people in an awkward position. And a
- 1:41:20Speaker 6: lot of parents don't want to do that either.
- 1:41:21Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:41:23Speaker 6: You know, I think it's rude just to, without solicitation,
- 1:41:27Speaker 6: just start showing off pictures of either your dog or
- 1:41:31Speaker 6: your kids. Yeah. Because not everybody wants to see them.
- 1:41:34Speaker 6: Not everybody's interested. And then now you're forcing people to
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: say like, oh, that's a, Good looking kid.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: Yeah. Right.
- 1:41:40Speaker 6: So we, uh, we get parents that send us the photos.
- 1:41:43Speaker 6: We post them on our Instagram at the Woody show.
- 1:41:45Speaker 6: And if you want to see the photos that we're
- 1:41:47Speaker 6: looking at and that we're going by here, you can
- 1:41:49Speaker 6: go on our Instagram. You can see it there. Just
- 1:41:51Speaker 6: take a look. We ask people to leave their most
- 1:41:53Speaker 6: honest feedback and then a rating on a scale of
- 1:41:55Speaker 6: one to 10. Where is Morgan? Cause Morgan's really good
- 1:41:58Speaker 6: at the one to 10 stuff. Yeah.
- 1:41:59Speaker 10: She's a good rater.
- 1:42:00Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:42:00Speaker 6: And so this baby that we've had is the pride
- 1:42:03Speaker 6: and joy of our listener, Becca, uh, And she said,
- 1:42:06Speaker 6: I recently had my first son in March. His name
- 1:42:08Speaker 6: is Bo Hunter. Yes, that's a hunting reference.
- 1:42:12Speaker 10: Oh, really?
- 1:42:12Speaker 6: He's a good boy, but also a big boy. He
- 1:42:15Speaker 6: was born at 7.5 pounds. Bo is five months old
- 1:42:19Speaker 6: and is now 20 pounds.
- 1:42:21Speaker 9: Damn.
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: Is that big? I don't know anything about baby.
- 1:42:23Speaker 6: Yeah, that's pretty big. 20 pounds, pretty big. He's he's
- 1:42:26Speaker 6: wearing 18 month old in size and in the clothing.
- 1:42:29Speaker 6: What do you guys think of Bo? And again, it's
- 1:42:32Speaker 6: on our Instagram. And before I go to some of
- 1:42:35Speaker 6: the comments and give you what an average doubt to
- 1:42:37Speaker 6: be from people who voted online, let's go around the room.
- 1:42:40Speaker 6: And Morgan, we will start with you. OK, wow.
- 1:42:43Speaker 15: You know what? I love a fat baby.
- 1:42:46Speaker 6: There were a lot of comments that said that.
- 1:42:48Speaker 10: Chunky.
- 1:42:49Speaker 15: They're way cuter when they're fat and chunky, so I'm
- 1:42:51Speaker 15: going nine. Nine out of ten.
- 1:42:53Speaker 6: Nine out of ten.
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:42:54Speaker 6: Did you see the picture and the overalls and stuff?
- 1:42:57Speaker 10: Yeah, and the name and the fact that he's fat. Bowhunter.
- 1:43:00Speaker 6: It just works. The little crab tattoo.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: On his arm.
- 1:43:03Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:43:04Speaker 7: Nine out of ten for me.
- 1:43:05Speaker 6: Nine out of ten. Menace. Ooh.
- 1:43:08Speaker 7: Unfortunately, they just banned Ozempic for... Kids under 10 years old.
- 1:43:13Speaker 6: Yeah, the World Health Organization just said no weight loss
- 1:43:16Speaker 6: drugs for kids under 10. That's too bad they're not
- 1:43:18Speaker 6: charging me.
- 1:43:18Speaker 7: Yeah, so this fat baby, out of luck. It just
- 1:43:23Speaker 7: looks like a baby that, I don't know, belongs at
- 1:43:25Speaker 7: a trailer park and has a six-pack already. I'm going... Yeah,
- 1:43:31Speaker 7: I'm going with a six on that one.
- 1:43:34Speaker 6: A six. Greg Gorey.
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: You know, I'm looking at this the way that you
- 1:43:37Speaker 5: look at real estate.
- 1:43:38Speaker 1: It's a house that has.
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: potential it's a fixer-upper and you can see past all
- 1:43:44Speaker 5: the wallpaper and the paint and you can make it
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: into something awesome sure I think Bo has that potential
- 1:43:51Speaker 5: he has.
- 1:43:51Speaker 17: Good bones right he has good bones there you go
- 1:43:54Speaker 17: he is actually pretty cute I mean is he a
- 1:43:57Speaker 17: legal whale yes And does he look.
- 1:44:02Speaker 5: A baby beluga? Is he on the white trashy side? Absolutely.
- 1:44:05Speaker 9: Side?
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: He's looking at the whole area.
- 1:44:08Speaker 5: That last photo when he's shirtless and has that little
- 1:44:11Speaker 5: body painted tattoo, that's a cute picture. I'm going 7.5.
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: A 7.5.
- 1:44:15Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:44:17Speaker 6: Nice. All right, Gina Gran?
- 1:44:20Speaker 10: I am just hypnotized by that belly. It is the greatest.
- 1:44:24Speaker 14: It's the only time in his life that everyone's going
- 1:44:26Speaker 14: to love him more. Because of that giant belly. I
- 1:44:29Speaker 14: think he's adorable. The cheeks are just giant.
- 1:44:32Speaker 15: He's perfect.
- 1:44:33Speaker 10: His thighs, fat thighs. He's an eight and a half.
- 1:44:36Speaker 6: He does look like in that one picture where you
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: see the tattoo. So it's kind of like a profile.
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: Not a profile, but like he's like being held by somebody.
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:44:47Speaker 6: That is the Gerber baby.
- 1:44:49Speaker 5: Face, for sure. Oh, totally.
- 1:44:51Speaker 10: It's a little round mouth.
- 1:44:52Speaker 6: Like the roundness of it. I'm saying literally the look.
- 1:44:55Speaker 6: This kid could go out as Halloween as the Gerber baby.
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: Yeah, if a baby ate the Gerber baby.
- 1:45:02Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:45:02Speaker 15: He has a good hairline too, I just noticed.
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: But, dude, I mean, don't I understand sitting like that
- 1:45:07Speaker 6: and having your belly push up like that? It kind
- 1:45:09Speaker 6: of pushes your tits up and like the whole thing.
- 1:45:12Speaker 6: I don't know if I could pull off the camo
- 1:45:14Speaker 6: overalls the way that he is in this one picture.
- 1:45:17Speaker 6: His wrists are so fat they have creases in them.
- 1:45:19Speaker 10: That's the best.
- 1:45:20Speaker 7: I love it when they do that.
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: Like if Bert Kreischer was a baby, right?
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:45:23Speaker 6: Like with the way that the belly protrudes like that.
- 1:45:25Speaker 6: But if there was a time... to be this chunky
- 1:45:29Speaker 6: and big where people aren't really going to give you
- 1:45:30Speaker 6: a lot of crap.
- 1:45:31Speaker 10: No, they love it.
- 1:45:32Speaker 6: Like I said, it's now.
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:45:34Speaker 5: So, yeah. Enjoy it.
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:45:36Speaker 6: I think otherwise, I mean, like he's got a cute face.
- 1:45:40Speaker 6: It looks like he will at some point be like
- 1:45:44Speaker 6: an over-the-road trucker or something. And maybe because it's just
- 1:45:46Speaker 6: the name, like the name kind of sets him up
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: for that.
- 1:45:48Speaker 10: You think he'll be a linebacker?
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: I mean, possibly.
- 1:45:52Speaker 6: I'm giving this kid a seven.
- 1:45:53Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:45:55Speaker 6: What about you, Seabass? He'll play high school ball.
- 1:45:57Speaker 7: That's for sure.
- 1:45:58Speaker 6: And then he may be an assistant high school coach
- 1:46:00Speaker 6: at some point.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, sure.
- 1:46:01Speaker 6: He's built for that. Like a gym teacher?
- 1:46:03Speaker 7: Oh, a thousand percent.
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: Yeah, this kid.
- 1:46:07Speaker 7: he's going to get fat when.
- 1:46:08Speaker 6: He grows up.
- 1:46:09Speaker 8: I mean, as hilarious, he's a nine. I mean, him
- 1:46:13Speaker 8: sitting in that little baby seat with his thighs don't
- 1:46:16Speaker 8: even fit.
- 1:46:16Speaker 6: In the holes.
- 1:46:17Speaker 10: That's all I even noticed then.
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: In the bumbo, yeah.
- 1:46:20Speaker 7: Oh my God.
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: Yeah, he's too fat for that age. Again, if you
- 1:46:23Speaker 6: want to see these photos that we're discussing, they're on
- 1:46:25Speaker 6: our Instagram right now, pinned to the top of our
- 1:46:27Speaker 6: profile at The Woody Show on Instagram.
- 1:46:30Speaker 8: And the bib he's wearing, we're getting the 45 seconds
- 1:46:32Speaker 8: a day that thing's clean and not covered in food.
- 1:46:35Speaker 7: So yeah.
- 1:46:36Speaker 6: Looks like Menace's seat over there on that side of
- 1:46:37Speaker 6: the studio, just crumbs. So yeah, he's hilarious.
- 1:46:41Speaker 8: I say this because I have friends who've died of
- 1:46:43Speaker 8: obesity when they get in their 40s. Parents, you got
- 1:46:46Speaker 8: to watch this kid because he will blow up.
- 1:46:48Speaker 10: Hey, they do stretch out sometimes.
- 1:46:50Speaker 6: That's true.
- 1:46:50Speaker 10: Bad babies stretch out.
- 1:46:51Speaker 6: Yeah, but they also get real fat more than often.
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: So yeah, overall- Look at Jerry O'Connell. He was kind of- Oh,
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: he was a chubby kid, right?
- 1:46:57Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: Not even like a baby, but like as a young man.
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: Go for Jerry O'Connell. More of him, less Ethan Asouple. Yeah,
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: or Chunk from the Goonies.
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:47:05Speaker 6: That's his name. Like now he's a lawyer, right?
- 1:47:07Speaker 10: Yeah, that's his real name.
- 1:47:08Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:47:09Speaker 7: So overall, a six, but hilarious, a nine.
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: Tammy.
- 1:47:13Speaker 15: I am wussy-bessing that this baby is hilarious.
- 1:47:17Speaker 11: First looking at it, I could not stop laughing at
- 1:47:19Speaker 11: the pictures because it was just so funny.
- 1:47:21Speaker 15: This baby loves to party, it looks like. It looks
- 1:47:24Speaker 15: like the hangover baby in the first picture.
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: Yeah, there's a comment about that.
- 1:47:28Speaker 15: In the other picture.
- 1:47:29Speaker 11: With the bumbo where his legs don't fit, to me,
- 1:47:33Speaker 11: he looks just like Ben Stiller at the end of
- 1:47:36Speaker 11: Dodgeball when he's all fat, just eating the chicken, you know?
- 1:47:40Speaker 15: Oh my God.
- 1:47:41Speaker 7: Look at that little fat baby.
- 1:47:42Speaker 11: So to see a little baby like that is hilarious.
- 1:47:45Speaker 11: But overall, I say six.
- 1:47:47Speaker 15: And like Greg, I.
- 1:47:48Speaker 11: Think good bone structure. I think symmetrical, cute face.
- 1:47:51Speaker 6: That's above average.
- 1:47:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:47:52Speaker 6: Six is above average. True. Some of the comments that
- 1:47:55Speaker 6: you guys have been leaving on our Instagram, it's the
- 1:47:57Speaker 6: Stay Puft Marshmallow Baby. I give him a seven.
- 1:47:59Speaker 10: For sure.
- 1:48:00Speaker 6: I worked with this guy in 94. Great guy. Can
- 1:48:03Speaker 6: make concrete like no other. This one says, the young
- 1:48:07Speaker 6: man is adorable. When he sees babies, he tells them
- 1:48:10Speaker 6: that he takes bigger poops than them. This dude is
- 1:48:14Speaker 6: a solid eight. This one says, this baby looks like
- 1:48:17Speaker 6: he's in construction or some sort of trade. He also
- 1:48:20Speaker 6: drinks on the job. Seven out of ten cuteness. He's
- 1:48:24Speaker 6: working off his second DUI. This one says, from Avoiding Regret,
- 1:48:29Speaker 6: Bo brought the guns to the gun show, but also
- 1:48:32Speaker 6: the beer to the belly. Right tackle for Nebraska, class
- 1:48:36Speaker 6: of 2046. This one says, it's crazy because I'm 45
- 1:48:40Speaker 6: years old and this is exactly how I look. How
- 1:48:42Speaker 6: is that possible? This Woody Show listener on our Instagram says,
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: he was issued a commercial driver's license at birth and
- 1:48:48Speaker 6: only drinks Keystone Light.
- 1:48:50Speaker 10: Hell yeah.
- 1:48:51Speaker 6: I see a pouch of Redman and Cornhusker's hat in
- 1:48:55Speaker 6: this kid's future. He looks like Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.
- 1:48:59Speaker 7: Oh, remember that dude?
- 1:49:00Speaker 5: Oh, my God, yes.
- 1:49:00Speaker 7: Speaking of how long you live when you get fat.
- 1:49:03Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true. And do a bunch of coke. This
- 1:49:05Speaker 6: one says, this baby's first word is going to be
- 1:49:07Speaker 6: the N-word.
- 1:49:07Speaker 7: Oh, jeez.
- 1:49:10Speaker 6: Probably judging by the outfit. Could be the S-word.
- 1:49:12Speaker 7: You don't know.
- 1:49:13Speaker 6: His license is already suspended.
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: Getting.
- 1:49:15Speaker 6: Says this one. This Woody Show listener, he already looks
- 1:49:18Speaker 6: like he's tired of everyone's ish. I'm sure we're going
- 1:49:21Speaker 6: to hear about this guy on Redneck News in the future.
- 1:49:24Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure we're looking at a future participant in
- 1:49:26Speaker 6: my 600-pound life. I think this kid's going to know Dr.
- 1:49:29Speaker 6: Now on a first-name basis. Always a regular at the
- 1:49:33Speaker 6: local dive bar. And this one says, give this baby
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: a 4 out of 10. Bo Hunter is more like
- 1:49:39Speaker 6: obese Hunter. Dude looks like he already has a drinking
- 1:49:42Speaker 6: problem and drives a Dodge Ram that smells like wintergreen
- 1:49:45Speaker 6: Copenhagen that he spilled in the cup holders. I love this.
- 1:49:49Speaker 7: You don't follow this baby into the bathroom.
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:49:52Speaker 6: He's about to blow it up.
- 1:49:54Speaker 7: You can destroy it.
- 1:49:55Speaker 6: All right, so here we go. The breakdown, everybody. Listener vote.
- 1:50:00Speaker 6: Averages out to a score for Judge My Baby of
- 1:50:02Speaker 6: a 7.4. Oh, good. That's a great score. That's pretty good.
- 1:50:08Speaker 5: That's very good.
- 1:50:09Speaker 6: Very good. It averages out to a 7.4. Well done, bro. Yeah. So, Becca,
- 1:50:15Speaker 6: thank you for sending the photos. I hope this helps you.
- 1:50:19Speaker 10: Show that baby off.
- 1:50:19Speaker 6: Yeah, you can show this baby off. 7.4 is a
- 1:50:21Speaker 6: respectable score. And if you'd like to have your kid
- 1:50:24Speaker 6: featured in a future round of Judge My Baby, well,
- 1:50:26Speaker 6: you can send us the photos. Make sure you own
- 1:50:27Speaker 6: those photos like we were talking about. And you setting
- 1:50:31Speaker 6: in is authorizing us to use the... We don't want
- 1:50:36Speaker 6: to get sued by big school book photo.
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:50:38Speaker 10: By Olin Mills.
- 1:50:39Speaker 2: Olin Mills.
- 1:50:40Speaker 6: Yeah, exactly. You can send those submissions over to us.
- 1:50:44Speaker 6: Email at thewoodyshow.com. That's email at thewoodyshow.com. I don't know
- 1:51:01Speaker 6: why I get so happy. When I read about like NFTs,
- 1:51:14Speaker 6: it's like, how did you not know? How did you
- 1:51:18Speaker 6: not know?
- 1:51:19Speaker 5: At the time, how did you not realize this.
- 1:51:20Speaker 6: Was going to go?
- 1:51:21Speaker 10: You had to have it.
- 1:51:24Speaker 2: What?
- 1:51:24Speaker 5: Like even people who were into it couldn't explain it.
- 1:51:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:51:28Speaker 6: So when I see a story, the value of NFTs
- 1:51:31Speaker 6: has plummeted in recent years. Justin Bieber paid $ 1. 3 million
- 1:51:36Speaker 6: for the Bored Ape NFT that has pretty much lost
- 1:51:39Speaker 6: all of its value.
- 1:51:40Speaker 5: I was going to say, not just plummet, just vanished
- 1:51:42Speaker 5: in value.
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: This is the one I didn't understand, like NFT. Jack
- 1:51:45Speaker 6: Dorsey's first tweet.
- 1:51:48Speaker 10: Yeah, remember that?
- 1:51:49Speaker 6: Was worth almost $ 3 million. Somebody paid $ 3 million.
- 1:51:54Speaker 10: Yeah, but I have the digital copy of it, guys.
- 1:51:57Speaker 6: And now it's worth less than $ 5. The fact that
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: it's worth $ 5 is insane. I don't know.
- 1:52:05Speaker 7: They tried.
- 1:52:06Speaker 5: I like that too.
- 1:52:08Speaker 7: Have you ever heard about- I mean.
- 1:52:10Speaker 6: If you have 1.3 million, and Justin Bieber clearly does.
- 1:52:14Speaker 6: He doesn't care.
- 1:52:15Speaker 7: He took a shot.
- 1:52:16Speaker 6: It was a flyer.
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 1:52:19Speaker 6: But I'm thinking about just the regular people who they
- 1:52:23Speaker 6: got money together and they bought an NFT for something.
- 1:52:25Speaker 5: It's like, man- What were you thinking?
- 1:52:28Speaker 6: How did you not know? It's the same as when
- 1:52:30Speaker 6: you feel like you would be better and you would know-
- 1:52:34Speaker 6: If you're on the phone with somebody and they're telling
- 1:52:36Speaker 6: you to go get gift cards and then bring them
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: back and give.
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: Them the numbers.
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: Because you missed jury duty.
- 1:52:41Speaker 6: Because you missed jury duty or whatever it might be.
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: Unpaid parking ticket. Yeah, like all these other scams that
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: go around. You feel, and maybe you're going to be
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: getting scammed at some point on something a little bit more.
- 1:52:53Speaker 6: I would hope it would be a little bit more elaborate. Yeah.
- 1:52:56Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:52:56Speaker 5: That you're kicking yourself. Well, a couple of things.
- 1:52:58Speaker 7: One, they say that Justin Bieber got that NFT for free.
- 1:53:02Speaker 7: To help start the hype of.
- 1:53:04Speaker 6: Still too much.
- 1:53:05Speaker 10: You still lost money somehow.
- 1:53:08Speaker 7: And then rich people buying stuff, they say that it's
- 1:53:11Speaker 7: just a way to wash money. Like to give each other.
- 1:53:14Speaker 10: To launder it.
- 1:53:15Speaker 7: Yeah, give each other money tax-free.
- 1:53:18Speaker 6: Here's a question. All right, so Justin Bieber gets this NFT,
- 1:53:21Speaker 6: Bored Ape, $ 1. 3 million. Wouldn't you typically be responsible for
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: the taxes on that? Like if you were gifted something like... Because,
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: you know, like when we give away a prize... on
- 1:53:33Speaker 6: the show and it's worth over a certain number of dollars,
- 1:53:37Speaker 6: the winner is responsible for the taxes.
- 1:53:41Speaker 10: On that prize.
- 1:53:41Speaker 5: Right, but I think that's what Menace is saying. They, quote,
- 1:53:44Speaker 5: buy it, so it's a purchase. So therefore, like, let's
- 1:53:47Speaker 5: say he knows the artist and he just wants to
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: help him out. He's buying it, so he's not gifting it.
- 1:53:54Speaker 5: He's not gifting the money. He's buying a product.
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: But I'm saying, like, Justin Bieber was given the Bored Ape, right? Yeah.
- 1:54:01Speaker 5: Oh, so would Justin pay taxes?
- 1:54:02Speaker 6: That's what I'm asking. Like, would he be responsible for
- 1:54:05Speaker 6: the taxes?
- 1:54:05Speaker 7: Well, if he, I mean, whatever he bought it for
- 1:54:09Speaker 7: at the time, like they could have sold it to
- 1:54:10Speaker 7: him for five bucks, but now that Justin Bieber has it,
- 1:54:13Speaker 7: it's worth 1.39.
- 1:54:14Speaker 15: They valued it.
- 1:54:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:54:15Speaker 14: It's just so funny to pay, and I know I
- 1:54:17Speaker 14: sound like an old, out of touch, whatever, but it's
- 1:54:19Speaker 14: so funny to pay taxes.
- 1:54:20Speaker 10: On something that doesn't exist.
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:54:23Speaker 10: You can't hold it. You have to explain it to
- 1:54:25Speaker 10: people and they still don't get what it is.
- 1:54:27Speaker 6: It's crazy.
- 1:54:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:54:28Speaker 6: I mean- Have you ever, beanie babies, when people bought those, right?
- 1:54:36Speaker 6: And you feel so stupid later. You're just like, oh, man.
- 1:54:39Speaker 6: But have you ever, anybody in this room, have you
- 1:54:41Speaker 6: ever bought something that you later regretted as the, you know,
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: like it was supposed to be more of an investment.
- 1:54:46Speaker 6: Like you bought something like, you know what, this is
- 1:54:48Speaker 6: going to be worth something or at least it's going
- 1:54:49Speaker 6: to hold its value. Maybe it's not going to make
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: me wealthy. But have you ever bought in on something?
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: I mean, I've dodged a few things. I've had a
- 1:54:59Speaker 6: few people ask me if I wanted to get involved
- 1:55:01Speaker 6: and go into business with them, be an investor, whatever
- 1:55:05Speaker 6: that is that they were starting, whatever business they were
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: starting or whatever thing they wanted to do.
- 1:55:09Speaker 5: And I was like, eh.
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: And I hemmed and hawed a couple times and I
- 1:55:13Speaker 6: ended up not doing it because I don't– even though
- 1:55:16Speaker 6: I do have investments– I don't have the stomach for
- 1:55:19Speaker 6: that kind of stuff.
- 1:55:20Speaker 10: For startup investments.
- 1:55:21Speaker 6: Correct.
- 1:55:23Speaker 14: On a much smaller scale, a friend of mine just
- 1:55:26Speaker 14: rode me for like two years to join her pyramid
- 1:55:29Speaker 14: scheme to be one of those. And I always came
- 1:55:32Speaker 14: up with creative ways, like, I'll let you know. And finally,
- 1:55:35Speaker 14: I was like, Gina, you just have to sack up
- 1:55:37Speaker 14: and say no. And she came at me again. And
- 1:55:39Speaker 14: I said to her, honey, my heart.
- 1:55:42Speaker 10: Is closed to this. And I didn't know what else
- 1:55:45Speaker 10: to say, and she never asked me again.
- 1:55:47Speaker 6: I was like, I don't know.
- 1:55:48Speaker 10: My heart is closed to this conversation.
- 1:55:50Speaker 6: Have you ever bought a thing, though? How, like, you know, Tyler,
- 1:55:54Speaker 6: for example, buys these cards.
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:55:56Speaker 6: I think I'm like, oh, this is going to be.
- 1:55:58Speaker 10: Yeah, this is my nest egg.
- 1:55:59Speaker 6: Yeah, this is going to be a thing. Have you
- 1:56:01Speaker 6: ever bought something that you thought was going to end
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: up being something, and then it ended up being just
- 1:56:05Speaker 6: another fad that kind of came and went?
- 1:56:07Speaker 5: Did you ever get? Not a physical thing. I did
- 1:56:09Speaker 5: buy 5% of a restaurant, and it didn't fit. fail
- 1:56:13Speaker 5: but it didn't succeed so i broke even like so
- 1:56:19Speaker 5: thank god but it could have.
- 1:56:20Speaker 6: Gone whose restaurant was it was like a friend family
- 1:56:24Speaker 6: member uh a distant relative distant relative yeah it didn't
- 1:56:29Speaker 6: go well wow what kind of restaurant was it like
- 1:56:31Speaker 6: a German sandwich shop.
- 1:56:34Speaker 10: Oh, German trees.
- 1:56:35Speaker 6: That's something, as long as we've worked together, I don't
- 1:56:37Speaker 6: think I've ever heard that story.
- 1:56:38Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not my- He's not proud. But yeah, it's
- 1:56:41Speaker 5: not my proudest story.
- 1:56:43Speaker 14: A very close family member to me got very invested
- 1:56:46Speaker 14: in Beanie Babies.
- 1:56:47Speaker 10: This was an adult. They were all over the house.
- 1:56:49Speaker 10: They were displayed.
- 1:56:50Speaker 14: And when I say displayed, I mean just like strewn
- 1:56:52Speaker 14: on every surface. And we all got a phone call
- 1:56:56Speaker 14: when they got the princess- dye one. That was going
- 1:57:00Speaker 14: to pay for somebody's college.
- 1:57:03Speaker 11: I still have my Princess Diana one. I found it
- 1:57:05Speaker 11: in a Rubbermaid tub with all my stuff. I'm like, oh,
- 1:57:07Speaker 11: the Princess Diana beanie.
- 1:57:11Speaker 6: We bought seven franchise stores of a big name food
- 1:57:14Speaker 6: company and the brand has since tanked. Now we're down
- 1:57:17Speaker 6: to five stores. Going to close three more. We're regretting
- 1:57:21Speaker 6: our decision. That sucks.
- 1:57:21Speaker 9: Super sucks.
- 1:57:26Speaker 7: I mean, I only bought ever one NFT and I
- 1:57:30Speaker 7: still have it. It's still useful because it's not artwork.
- 1:57:33Speaker 7: It's an NFT to have access to certain things like
- 1:57:39Speaker 7: events and stuff like that. So it's basically like a
- 1:57:43Speaker 7: never-ending ticket.
- 1:57:44Speaker 6: That's just a pass. Yeah, right.
- 1:57:45Speaker 7: You bought a pass. That's not an NFT. Well, it's
- 1:57:48Speaker 7: an NFT form because a lot of people.
- 1:57:51Speaker 5: So how do you use it when you present it?
- 1:57:53Speaker 6: Yeah, how do you use it?
- 1:57:54Speaker 7: Because I have to submit the NFT into a certain
- 1:57:58Speaker 7: site for it to unlock the access to certain things.
- 1:58:02Speaker 10: But does it have like is it just an image on.
- 1:58:04Speaker 7: It um it's it's kind of like is it a
- 1:58:07Speaker 7: code no it kind of looks like uh something that
- 1:58:09Speaker 7: fits in your wallet like uh like a like a
- 1:58:12Speaker 7: ticket yes is.
- 1:58:14Speaker 10: It designed to look like a ticket it is.
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: Designed to look like a ticket but it's a physical thing.
- 1:58:19Speaker 10: No no it's a picture of a ticket it's a.
- 1:58:21Speaker 5: Picture of a ticket And then you upload it.
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:58:24Speaker 7: And he gets into it and then unlocks different things.
- 1:58:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:58:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:58:27Speaker 7: So it's not like just like, so like, so like
- 1:58:30Speaker 7: actual events or into like a certain chat room on, um,
- 1:58:35Speaker 7: fortnight for no, no, no. On discord on discord.
- 1:58:40Speaker 6: Is it just a, so it's basically just a, how
- 1:58:42Speaker 6: you can send somebody a, uh, a gift card, but
- 1:58:44Speaker 6: through an email, like a digital, it's a digital gift
- 1:58:46Speaker 6: card essentially.
- 1:58:47Speaker 11: Right.
- 1:58:48Speaker 7: Yeah, but it never, yeah, you never, it never devalues itself.
- 1:58:52Speaker 5: Gotcha.
- 1:58:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:58:54Speaker 12: Okay.
- 1:58:54Speaker 6: We had some fraternity guys.
- 1:58:55Speaker 5: We're going to give you $ 1.
- 1:58:56Speaker 7: 3 million to explain it.
- 1:58:58Speaker 5: No, I know.
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: I mean, I have a somewhat idea.
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:59:02Speaker 7: It's like a never ending.
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: Obstabber. Yeah.
- 1:59:05Speaker 7: Obstabber.
- 1:59:06Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:59:06Speaker 2: 877-44-40.
- 1:59:06Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:59:09Speaker 7: Any way I explain it.
- 1:59:11Speaker 6: Right now.
- 1:59:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:59:12Speaker 10: It's just a pass that looks like a ticket.
- 1:59:13Speaker 5: Do you use it?
- 1:59:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I do.
- 1:59:14Speaker 10: You can submit it to certain things to get into
- 1:59:16Speaker 10: certain places.
- 1:59:16Speaker 6: And whatever, because that would be the thing. I would
- 1:59:18Speaker 6: think anybody who was selling something like that would be
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: one of those things, brands, events that is just a fad,
- 1:59:25Speaker 6: like the NFT is a fad. They're kind of in
- 1:59:27Speaker 6: the fad business.
- 1:59:28Speaker 10: Did you pay a ton of money for it?
- 1:59:30Speaker 8: No.
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: Yes, Jeff? One thing, I heard you guys talking in
- 1:59:34Speaker 1: the other room. One thing that's still very prevalent in
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: the hood, especially with Latinos- Our pyramid schemes, dude.
- 1:59:39Speaker 7: Dude, I was just saying.
- 1:59:41Speaker 1: Yeah, they buy into them a ton.
- 1:59:43Speaker 10: I'm saying.
- 1:59:44Speaker 6: There's a reason that Herbalife sponsored a soccer team. You're right.
- 1:59:47Speaker 7: I'm not saying anything about Herbalife specifically for all lawyers.
- 1:59:51Speaker 14: I've heard documentaries about it.
- 1:59:53Speaker 6: I'm just saying there's a reason that certain things are popular.
- 1:59:55Speaker 15: They go overseas.
- 1:59:56Speaker 1: And you'd think those would be way over. And they're
- 1:59:59Speaker 1: still there.
- 1:59:59Speaker 5: Don't do it. 877-44-WOODY.

- 2:00:42Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:00:42Speaker 6: Parting words of wisdom, please.
- 2:00:44Speaker 5: Yeah, if there is such a high tobacco tax to
- 2:00:47Speaker 5: discourage you from smoking, why is there an income tax?
- 2:00:50Speaker 10: That's a good one, Greg.
- 2:00:54Speaker 5: Think about that today.
- 2:00:55Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:00:55Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 2:00:56Speaker 5: They don't want you to work.
- 2:00:57Speaker 6: You've got to love the places that have no state
- 2:00:59Speaker 6: income tax.
- 2:01:00Speaker 5: I do love those places.
- 2:01:01Speaker 6: I mean, you know, we can get rid of the
- 2:01:03Speaker 6: federal and the state. Man, we'd really be living.
- 2:01:05Speaker 11: Right.
- 2:01:05Speaker 5: And like we always point out, some states do it,
- 2:01:08Speaker 5: and wow, it's like magic. They made it work.
- 2:01:10Speaker 6: Somehow. Right. Other states can't get enough of your money.
- 2:01:13Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 2:01:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 2:01:14Speaker 6: All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey. Thank you
- 2:01:17Speaker 6: so much for giving The Woody Show some of your
