- 1:04Speaker 5: It's a podcast, Come twenty five whistles wine?
- 1:10Speaker 6: All right, how about that freaking duke Yukon game? Wild
- 1:13Speaker 6: crazy blow the whistle? So here we are.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Yeah that was crazy.
- 1:17Speaker 7: Man.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I gotta tell you I am down with basketball. Once
- 1:20Speaker 1: Arkansas lost, I thought the tournament was over.
- 1:22Speaker 4: Oh you're not watching.
- 1:22Speaker 6: I thought they canceled up for everybody.
- 1:24Speaker 8: Now it turns out as still goes on.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Well how about that?
- 1:27Speaker 6: Okay?
- 1:28Speaker 1: So I was only watching scores and Yukon was getting
- 1:32Speaker 1: their butts kicked, so I didn't even put it over.
- 1:35Speaker 1: And then halftime happens, and you can still getting their
- 1:37Speaker 1: butt kicked, And so I checked it over midway through
- 1:40Speaker 1: the fourth and they started to make a move. So
- 1:42Speaker 1: I just started monitoring a little close. And once I
- 1:43Speaker 1: started getting close, I flipped it. I actually saw the play,
- 1:46Speaker 1: but I watched. It's like I I got to treat,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but I haven't eat the cereal. You know, I dug
- 1:52Speaker 1: in the box, got the toy there, didn't need to
- 1:54Speaker 1: sit none. I only got the good stuff.
- 1:56Speaker 8: Yeah, most of these games, I feel like you can
- 1:58Speaker 8: watch the second half and if something good happens, you
- 2:00Speaker 8: got it.
- 2:02Speaker 6: I could not. Again, everybody's going to say this one
- 2:04Speaker 6: hundred times.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Everything that could have went wrong went wrong there, And
- 2:08Speaker 1: I've heard it broken down five hundred times, and only
- 2:10Speaker 1: ten seconds in the clock. They could have kept the
- 2:12Speaker 1: ball back court. They had a time out left. He
- 2:14Speaker 1: could have not tried to pass the ball. All these things,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but you still got to.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Hit that shot, and that's a very low percentage shot.
- 2:22Speaker 6: Still got to hit that shot. It's a low percentage
- 2:25Speaker 6: shot to just shoot it open three.
- 2:28Speaker 4: But man, he was like half court logo.
- 2:31Speaker 6: He was will barrel in those nuts after that shot.
- 2:34Speaker 6: That was awesome. It wasn't even like off the backboard.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It wasn't like Kentucky and Santa Clara chunks it up prayer.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it was nothing.
- 2:43Speaker 8: You watched it live, like, did you think Because when
- 2:44Speaker 8: I was watching it, as soon as he shot it,
- 2:46Speaker 8: I was like, I think that's going in.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Now you look good for the game.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I definitely did not think it was going in, just
- 2:51Speaker 1: based off of there's no way that SHOT's going in,
- 2:53Speaker 1: like everything that had to happen the inbound.
- 2:56Speaker 6: He freaked out that the guys tipped it. Yeah, the guy,
- 2:59Speaker 6: the first guy didn't shoot it.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He had the understanding to pass it back to the
- 3:02Speaker 1: guy as he shot. I was like, there's no my God,
- 3:05Speaker 1: and I was like, I believe.
- 3:08Speaker 6: Here's the thing.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I was very happy because everybody hates Duke unless you
- 3:13Speaker 1: love Duke. Duke is the Yankees, Duke is the Cowboys Duke,
- 3:17Speaker 1: but they Duke.
- 3:17Speaker 6: Wins easy, easy.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But I started to think to myself, why do I
- 3:22Speaker 1: hate Duke right now? I shouldn't because I like Shire
- 3:26Speaker 1: as a coach says like fine, good guy. So I
- 3:30Speaker 1: just hate the brand. Then they choked their brains off
- 3:34Speaker 1: the fact they had Canipple and flag. Last year, they
- 3:38Speaker 1: lost to Houston in the final four right or Championship.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Game No Final.
- 3:43Speaker 8: And they were up big, like seven last couple months,
- 3:45Speaker 8: last two.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Minutes left, they were up nineteen in this game. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: I don'tbelieve it was awesome unless it happens to you,
- 3:52Speaker 1: like I had one of these versions of this happened
- 3:54Speaker 1: to me last year Sweet sixteen. Texas Tech comes back
- 3:57Speaker 1: and it was the biggest come from behind victory in
- 3:58Speaker 1: Sweet sixteen history.
- 3:59Speaker 6: To take me Arkansas. That's that's tough to take.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, Man, if you're on the other side of it,
- 4:03Speaker 1: it's just amazing.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 1: So I don't even like Yukon. I should hate Yukon
- 4:08Speaker 1: because Hurley annoys the.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Craply annoys the crap out of me too.
- 4:11Speaker 8: He's much easier to dislike than Duke is.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yes, correct, but I've disliked Duke my whole life. Therefore,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I was rooting for Yukon to beat Duke. The shot again,
- 4:24Speaker 1: what a shot.
- 4:25Speaker 4: And this kid Mullins freshman. I think he was zero
- 4:28Speaker 4: for three on the day on threes, so like it
- 4:31Speaker 4: wasn't like he's going to be the last shot.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't have the stats in front of me, but
- 4:34Speaker 1: I believe the first half they were like one for
- 4:36Speaker 1: sixteen for threes or something like that, and then they
- 4:40Speaker 1: came alive.
- 4:41Speaker 4: I don't think that he wanted to take that last shot.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I think the plan was probably just pass it off.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Maybe we'll get some of the inside, we'll tie it
- 4:47Speaker 4: up and we'll get overtime.
- 4:48Speaker 6: There wasn't There was no time to have a plan.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Because it was just a steal.
- 4:51Speaker 1: A steal, yeah, it was yeah, the deflective ball. They
- 4:53Speaker 1: got it to the guy who was kind of like
- 4:55Speaker 1: it's an elbow the three point line, and there was
- 4:58Speaker 1: one second on the clock and He's like, I'm guarded,
- 5:01Speaker 1: so I'll just the other guy wasn't think he's getting
- 5:03Speaker 1: the ball.
- 5:03Speaker 6: He's just trying to cross just in case. There was
- 5:05Speaker 6: no time for him to think.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It was like, here's the ball, one point five seconds left,
- 5:08Speaker 1: safety valve, ball.
- 5:09Speaker 7: Up, boom.
- 5:10Speaker 4: But Kevin knew was going in.
- 5:11Speaker 8: Though I'm saying, like you, you have an idea at
- 5:14Speaker 8: least it's gonna be close. The way that he shot it,
- 5:17Speaker 8: the way that he left his hand, I was like, oh, wow,
- 5:19Speaker 8: this looks like it's going in right away.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I mean, I'm kind of messing with you. But sometimes,
- 5:23Speaker 4: like this whole tournament, like there is the shot style
- 5:25Speaker 4: where you look at a shot go up and you
- 5:27Speaker 4: kind of have a good idea of like oh that
- 5:29Speaker 4: was ugly, that's not going in, or like oh that
- 5:31Speaker 4: looks like a good shot.
- 5:32Speaker 8: Like the Saint John's Friday Night against Dude. The kid
- 5:35Speaker 8: took like a step back the lefty and that was
- 5:37Speaker 8: way off and you knew from the beginning.
- 5:39Speaker 4: And then he air bawled, Yeah, you thought the form
- 5:41Speaker 4: was good on this half court?
- 5:43Speaker 1: You know, the one that looked good was the Iowa
- 5:44Speaker 1: from the corner. Yes, he was alone as soon as
- 5:48Speaker 1: it came off his hand. This wasn't this round because
- 5:50Speaker 1: they lost this round by the game before. Yeah, he
- 5:53Speaker 1: was wide open as a fast break to win, to
- 5:54Speaker 1: win that game. Mm hmm that against Florida, knock out Florida.
- 5:57Speaker 6: That one was in as soon as it out to
- 6:00Speaker 6: the hand.
- 6:00Speaker 8: Yeah, I saw it.
- 6:02Speaker 4: This This game was the best ending so far of
- 6:05Speaker 4: the tournament, right, like, this is the best.
- 6:06Speaker 1: This is one of the best to make that shot it, Yeah,
- 6:09Speaker 1: in an NC double A tournament game, that's the furthest
- 6:12Speaker 1: game winning shot like that within one second ever.
- 6:15Speaker 4: The furthest away. That's amazing, Yeah, because.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Because there have been long ones made, but then there's
- 6:20Speaker 1: like three seconds still on the clock like this hit
- 6:22Speaker 1: and it was like point two or three on Yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 1: point three and then they changed it to point four.
- 6:25Speaker 4: And then to think that coming back from a nineteen
- 6:28Speaker 4: point deficit and winning would be like six in NC
- 6:32Speaker 4: DOUBLEA tournament history. That's crazy too, Like there's been crazier
- 6:36Speaker 4: games than this.
- 6:37Speaker 6: And Duke, they just have they have the number one
- 6:39Speaker 6: recruiting class every year.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Man, those Boozer kids are good. But that's tough that
- 6:44Speaker 8: the one of the brothers turned it over. He felt
- 6:46Speaker 8: bad for him.
- 6:47Speaker 6: I feel bad for Kating because he's shorter, Like he's
- 6:49Speaker 6: not he's not the guy. I mean, he's the guard.
- 6:51Speaker 4: And let's crazy. Their twins, right, and I was thinking like, oh,
- 6:53Speaker 4: the little one, even though he's not little.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And I didn't know the difference in their height until
- 6:57Speaker 1: that commercial. Maybe it's a Team Mobile commercial. Oh yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 1: they're face to face talking in the commercial, and I'm like, oh,
- 7:02Speaker 1: he really is a lot small. It's not just that
- 7:04Speaker 1: Cam Boozer is just the better athlete, It's.
- 7:07Speaker 6: Just he has the size bigger.
- 7:09Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 8: Did you hear the Duke radio call?
- 7:11Speaker 4: We have it here?
- 7:12Speaker 7: Yah?
- 7:12Speaker 8: Yeah, Eddy of you hear it?
- 7:13Speaker 4: No, I'm not good.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Okay, so oh Kevins only brought it. That's why I
- 7:16Speaker 1: have it here. Yeah he Kevin, great job, want you thanks.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Duke radio announcers wanted a technical for the Husky players
- 7:21Speaker 1: running off the bench after Yukon hits the game winning
- 7:23Speaker 1: shot on Sunday.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Here you go, hit it in they do.
- 7:25Speaker 9: For Boozer, bobbled it back for Sar and he needs
- 7:28Speaker 9: to get rid of it.
- 7:28Speaker 10: Does for Kaiden seven.
- 7:29Speaker 9: Seconds trying to throw it ahead, deflected, stolen, by Connecticut
- 7:33Speaker 9: two seconds. It's Smolan's up top for the wind. Oh
- 7:35Speaker 9: he hit it with three tints in a second ago,
- 7:39Speaker 9: Tyler Kai Smith ran off the bench. That should be
- 7:42Speaker 9: a technical. Oh with three tints in a second ago,
- 7:45Speaker 9: Connecticut has only seventy three to seventy two.
- 7:49Speaker 6: You wish, buddy, No ref is gonna call that technical.
- 7:53Speaker 8: But what about the hurly like headbutting that ref?
- 7:55Speaker 10: Did you see that clip?
- 7:56Speaker 7: No?
- 7:57Speaker 4: No, he actually a headbutton.
- 7:58Speaker 7: Dude.
- 7:58Speaker 8: He was like all intense after they made it, and
- 8:00Speaker 8: he walked up to the ref almost like to be like, yeah,
- 8:02Speaker 8: we just made that, and I mean god like in
- 8:05Speaker 8: his it was weird. Everyone's like, why didn't he get
- 8:07Speaker 8: a technical?
- 8:08Speaker 6: You'll see a little bit probably will I get annoyed
- 8:10Speaker 6: at the hurly stuff, but a little bit probably because
- 8:12Speaker 6: they know who he is.
- 8:13Speaker 8: That's what I was thinking.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He does that crap all the time, and if you
- 8:15Speaker 1: called it every single time, it'd be NonStop texts. Yeah,
- 8:17Speaker 1: he probably gets the benefit of doubt for winning and
- 8:19Speaker 1: always being crazy.
- 8:20Speaker 7: That's fair.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I didn't see it. That's without me seeing the clip,
- 8:23Speaker 1: because he's always going insane. They don't call crap.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Yeah, because you'd call ten text on him a game.
- 8:27Speaker 8: Yeah, even when they made the shot, I mean he was,
- 8:29Speaker 8: he was going nuts.
- 8:30Speaker 4: You ever see Hurley with a hat on? Huh? He
- 8:33Speaker 4: looks young, really, most people do. And then he's like
- 8:37Speaker 4: take his hat off, like he's old again.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Arizona is awesome, perdue game a run, and then Arizona
- 8:43Speaker 1: came back, and really they're really good.
- 8:44Speaker 6: They're really good. I think Michigan is the dominant one though, Dude,
- 8:47Speaker 6: I'm telling Arizona Michigan are the two teams. I think
- 8:49Speaker 6: Arizona they're both so good.
- 8:51Speaker 4: I wish that's not the case because I have Illinois
- 8:53Speaker 4: on my Calcutta, which would be good.
- 8:56Speaker 6: But I think they can beat Yukon. Yeah, Illinois and
- 8:59Speaker 6: Yukon and Michigan in Arizona playing and that's Saturday, Indianapolis.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Saturday, and then the championship is on Monday. Correct, what
- 9:07Speaker 4: time do we leave?
- 9:08Speaker 6: We don't leave. I don't know. I didn't even know
- 9:12Speaker 6: there was basketball. They canceled it.
- 9:15Speaker 4: I'm surprised you watched it, just.
- 9:17Speaker 6: A very very end because I was watching the score.
- 9:19Speaker 1: We were also watching the Arkansas football game, which they
- 9:21Speaker 1: hit up Big three, a big home run to win
- 9:23Speaker 1: the game, which was crazy because Florida is number five
- 9:25Speaker 1: in the country.
- 9:25Speaker 6: Uh, so we had it going.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But I just have no interest and my wife isn't
- 9:31Speaker 1: going to watch a game with me that I'm not
- 9:33Speaker 1: super interested in only because I bet on it.
- 9:35Speaker 6: I don't even bet on it.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Because like the Michigan Tennessee game, I'm just like, why
- 9:38Speaker 4: am I watching this? It was a bluff not to
- 9:41Speaker 4: watch this.
- 9:42Speaker 6: I score. Yeah again, I didn't even know there's basketball.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Which might be the first game of the tournament that
- 9:46Speaker 4: I did not watch, Like.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Oh, it was the first round for me.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I didn't want I've watched every game until that because
- 9:51Speaker 1: I was just home with a baby.
- 9:53Speaker 6: That's it. So yeah, and the baby is doing about
- 9:56Speaker 6: a mile on the treadmill. Now that's great. No, I
- 10:01Speaker 6: she'll get up sometimes.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Job.
- 10:03Speaker 10: Maybe that's pretty good for newborn.
- 10:06Speaker 6: Yes, it's very good, really good.
- 10:07Speaker 1: We went to chat GBT and we're like, newborn only
- 10:10Speaker 1: doing a mile? Should we be embarrassed? It's like, no,
- 10:12Speaker 1: that's great, you should do that. Let'sten to this story
- 10:15Speaker 1: about Brandon.
- 10:16Speaker 6: So I was talking to Brandon over the weekend and
- 10:18Speaker 6: he's like, hey, man, I got it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: My mouth hurts. I got abscess in my mouth, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: so he went, you went to an emergency dentist.
- 10:25Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Man, I woke up on Saturday this this side and
- 10:28Speaker 3: it's still really swollen. But it was like the size
- 10:31Speaker 3: of a golf ball, and I was like, oh my gosh,
- 10:34Speaker 3: like and it hurt.
- 10:35Speaker 10: Chew all that stuff.
- 10:36Speaker 3: And so I was like, so tried to call around
- 10:39Speaker 3: to any emergency dental place.
- 10:41Speaker 10: There was none.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I didn't know there were emergency dental place. I thought
- 10:43Speaker 1: you had to like call a dentist to get them
- 10:44Speaker 1: to come in.
- 10:45Speaker 3: That was me too, And so I got a hold
- 10:47Speaker 3: of somebody and they said, yeah, we don't have a
- 10:49Speaker 3: dentist in. You should just go to an urgent care,
- 10:51Speaker 3: regular urgent care, just to make sure it's not infected.
- 10:54Speaker 3: I was like, okay, So I go, and while I'm waiting,
- 10:57Speaker 3: I'm searching. I'm searching, and I found one in South
- 11:00Speaker 3: of Nashville emergency dental. They're open nine to nine every single.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Day, nine to nine, nine pm to nine am.
- 11:06Speaker 10: At nine am to nine pm.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Okay, so what if you happen at midnight though, You're
- 11:09Speaker 6: just screwed.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Not really an emergency dental place.
- 11:14Speaker 10: Right, that's that's why.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Well you don't have to get an appointment at any time.
- 11:17Speaker 10: Oh, they take walk ins.
- 11:19Speaker 8: All the things.
- 11:20Speaker 3: So so I canceled the urgent care. I told the
- 11:23Speaker 3: doctor what was up. He was like, oh, dude, just
- 11:25Speaker 3: go So I got an.
- 11:27Speaker 10: Appointment for six PM.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I go in.
- 11:29Speaker 3: They give me two huge shots and numbing stuff. And
- 11:32Speaker 3: by then, dude, it was a baseball. It was getting bigger.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Could you feel it getting bigger?
- 11:36Speaker 9: Dude?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Yeah, a baseball and that pain. They're like one to ten,
- 11:39Speaker 3: what's your pain? I was like, I'm gonna say a nine.
- 11:42Speaker 3: This is this is unbearable and.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Brand it's like my mouths. But if you need anything,
- 11:45Speaker 1: let me know. I'll cut some clips.
- 11:46Speaker 6: And I'm like, dude, I like handle your stuff.
- 11:51Speaker 8: Like is it drooling on his computer?
- 11:53Speaker 3: I'm in the chair, like you know, texting pictures. But yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 3: they started a root canal. That's what I had to
- 11:59Speaker 3: get it. And I already had a crown on this tooth.
- 12:04Speaker 3: So what they think is the crown broke and there
- 12:07Speaker 3: was you know, like debris from the there's just stuff
- 12:10Speaker 3: getting in there over a time. Oh god, it you know,
- 12:14Speaker 3: and and just slowly infecting and then you know, waking
- 12:18Speaker 3: up like that. They said, I caught it early, so
- 12:21Speaker 3: eight pm I'm getting a root canal. They give me
- 12:24Speaker 3: a temporary crown, and I get home by.
- 12:26Speaker 10: Like eleven thirty.
- 12:27Speaker 8: Wow, you know, and you look fine?
- 12:29Speaker 11: Feel good?
- 12:30Speaker 4: Man?
- 12:31Speaker 10: I feel so much better. Oh my gosh. But right
- 12:33Speaker 10: here you can feel it's it's like a like a
- 12:36Speaker 10: grape small. Yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 6: How'd that root canal feel.
- 12:41Speaker 10: Better than better than I thought.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I've had one done before, two or three years ago,
- 12:46Speaker 3: and it was fast and they I'm deathly afraid of
- 12:49Speaker 3: the dentist. I hate it, you know, but they walked
- 12:53Speaker 3: me through everything, they told me what they were doing,
- 12:54Speaker 3: and I think they got it done in like forty
- 12:57Speaker 3: five minutes.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Did it?
- 12:59Speaker 6: It didn't hurt real bad?
- 13:00Speaker 10: No, because they numbed literally this entire side of my face.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I started to get root canals when I first started
- 13:06Speaker 1: to go to the dentist. So I never went as
- 13:07Speaker 1: a kid. But then when I started to go to
- 13:08Speaker 1: the dentists in my twenties, when I got insurance, I
- 13:10Speaker 1: had probably seven years of work I had to do
- 13:13Speaker 1: to get back to normal, and at that time, getting
- 13:15Speaker 1: a root canal when I very first started getting root canal,
- 13:17Speaker 1: so I was probably its probably two thousand and one.
- 13:19Speaker 1: They hurt, they hurt, they every I had like three
- 13:22Speaker 1: immediate they hurt, they hurt, they hurt different dentists. And
- 13:25Speaker 1: then over time, I feel like this now and get
- 13:28Speaker 1: a root canal. But I have to get one. I can,
- 13:31Speaker 1: I can go in.
- 13:31Speaker 4: It doesn't.
- 13:32Speaker 1: The shots hurt a little bit when they numb you,
- 13:34Speaker 1: but they're able to do that now so easily.
- 13:36Speaker 10: The technology is. It's incredible.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Don't they knock you out? Don't you yeah? Or a
- 13:42Speaker 4: gas laughing gas or what do you do?
- 13:43Speaker 6: I do laughing gas? Dide I have had a machine
- 13:45Speaker 6: in my house. I do that today.
- 13:47Speaker 8: That's why you don't have a machine.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It's one of the greatest. It's the only time I've
- 13:50Speaker 1: ever been like high. That's when I like understand what
- 13:54Speaker 1: love even is.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Ye man, It's just everything just makes sense.
- 13:57Speaker 6: I'm not kidding, like I'm floating and all black.
- 14:02Speaker 1: The last time I was floating and I was an
- 14:03Speaker 1: All Black and I can hear the music that they're playing,
- 14:05Speaker 1: but Hendrix and how No, it's just whatever they're playing
- 14:08Speaker 1: on like the the PA system. But when you're totally aware.
- 14:16Speaker 1: You can hear the song as you do more and
- 14:18Speaker 1: more laughing around, and then it disappears. And that's how
- 14:22Speaker 1: I know I'm coming back because I've had so much
- 14:23Speaker 1: don't work like I know where I am now. It's
- 14:25Speaker 1: like somebody who's really good at drugs takes a lot
- 14:27Speaker 1: of drugs. They know exactly where they are. When I
- 14:29Speaker 1: started doing it starts, the music starts to come back,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but I can't hear it. I know I'm coming back
- 14:32Speaker 1: to and then when I hear it fully I'm back,
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm like, ah, damn, that's like a movie.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Yeah. I'm never more relaxed.
- 14:38Speaker 7: Though.
- 14:38Speaker 1: It's a place that I've never been in my life
- 14:41Speaker 1: that I get on laughing gas where I'm not tense,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I'm not stressed.
- 14:46Speaker 6: I'm like.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Thinking about abstract thoughts, not just how to get stuff done.
- 14:52Speaker 4: That's cool, it's just regular thoughts.
- 14:54Speaker 6: It's wild.
- 14:55Speaker 4: You know, Brandon is talking about his story about his
- 14:58Speaker 4: like the baseball thing. I I had a golf ball
- 15:00Speaker 4: one like, uh, I don't know. This is like a
- 15:02Speaker 4: couple of years ago on my cheek and I went
- 15:05Speaker 4: to the doctor and I'm like, what is happening? This
- 15:06Speaker 4: thing is getting bigger and bigger and oh it hurts
- 15:09Speaker 4: so bad. And it ended up being Margaret too many Margaritas.
- 15:13Speaker 4: The doctor was like, you need your salvary glands. Yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 4: your salvary glands getting infected. He's like, are you drinking
- 15:19Speaker 4: anything sour? And I was like, I don't think so.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Then I realized, like I've been drinking Margarita's every night
- 15:24Speaker 4: for the last like two weeks.
- 15:26Speaker 6: So, but there had to be something that allowed the margheritas.
- 15:29Speaker 1: The line man the line, there's something wrong with it
- 15:33Speaker 1: that the Margarita affected it.
- 15:36Speaker 6: In a negative way.
- 15:37Speaker 4: He said, basically, if you're if you're something sour that
- 15:40Speaker 4: you're drinking has like clogged up your salivary gland and
- 15:44Speaker 4: it's like all Margarita, so blaming them Marguerite. I had
- 15:46Speaker 4: to cut out Margarita's in my life.
- 15:47Speaker 10: Did they have to drain it out and come out
- 15:50Speaker 10: and partied.
- 15:50Speaker 4: It out and Marina comes out? Nah, they just put
- 15:54Speaker 4: me on antibiotics. But that was crazy. I had to
- 15:56Speaker 4: cut out Margarita's in my life.
- 15:59Speaker 6: So Eddie has a friend. I guess who do you
- 16:02Speaker 6: know that's selling a cow?
- 16:03Speaker 4: Okay, so this is a buddy of mine who he
- 16:06Speaker 4: has a farm, and he called me one day. He's like, man,
- 16:10Speaker 4: I have an opportunity for you because I know you
- 16:12Speaker 4: love to grill, you love to smoke meat. He's like,
- 16:16Speaker 4: I'm doing this thing for my friends where like you
- 16:19Speaker 4: can buy a cow.
- 16:20Speaker 7: Do it.
- 16:21Speaker 6: And he's like, I need to hear more about that.
- 16:23Speaker 4: He said, get your buddies involved, like because if you
- 16:26Speaker 4: buy a whole cow, because you can buy a whole
- 16:27Speaker 4: cow for like two grand, and it's like, that's a
- 16:31Speaker 4: lot of meat. So if you want, you can do
- 16:34Speaker 4: a quarter of a cow, which is less meat but
- 16:37Speaker 4: still a lot of meat. So it's nine hundred dollars
- 16:39Speaker 4: to buy a quarter of a cow. You get to
- 16:42Speaker 4: pick which cuts you want. You want briskets out of it,
- 16:44Speaker 4: you want t bones, you want ribbis, filets, ground beef,
- 16:48Speaker 4: whatever you want. You get to choose your quarter of
- 16:51Speaker 4: the cow for nine hundred bucks. And I said, you
- 16:53Speaker 4: know what, stand by, I'm going to talk to my buddies.
- 16:55Speaker 6: It's just for meat. Though it's not an investment.
- 16:57Speaker 4: No, it's meat. It's just meat, dude, the freshest meat.
- 17:01Speaker 4: It's a cow. So if we buy today, we will
- 17:04Speaker 4: have fresh meat. By next year.
- 17:06Speaker 6: I wouldn't know the difference if the whole foods and.
- 17:09Speaker 4: The body does your body knows.
- 17:12Speaker 1: If it were some sort of investment or it's like
- 17:14Speaker 1: buy a baby cow and then sell it later, maybe
- 17:16Speaker 1: I would be into it.
- 17:17Speaker 6: I'm not buying it for meat.
- 17:19Speaker 4: You don't want fresh meat.
- 17:20Speaker 6: Yes, you go to the store and no, I.
- 17:22Speaker 8: Mean technically you're saving money, right, And that's what he said.
- 17:25Speaker 8: He's to get in such big bull.
- 17:27Speaker 6: Yeah, you buy a quarter of a cow for how much?
- 17:33Speaker 10: Nine hundred bucks, but a whole cow is how much
- 17:35Speaker 10: two thousand?
- 17:35Speaker 6: I mean I heard that makes no sense because you
- 17:39Speaker 6: if you buy half of the cow, that's eighteen hundred.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Oh, I've meant to say four thousand. That's on me.
- 17:43Speaker 4: That's that's my math. That's my math. Plus like, so
- 17:47Speaker 4: you can buy the quarter for nine hundred, or you
- 17:49Speaker 4: can buy the whole cow. And he's not trying to
- 17:50Speaker 4: make money off of us. He said, this is just
- 17:52Speaker 4: for my buddies.
- 17:53Speaker 1: If I could buy a cow and then sell it
- 17:55Speaker 1: to idiots whould buy the quarter, then I'd be in.
- 17:58Speaker 8: I'll buy an eighth.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I did think that it was a business opportunity when
- 18:01Speaker 4: he first called, I'm like, it's not like meat opportunities, opportunity.
- 18:05Speaker 8: Where's this coming from?
- 18:06Speaker 4: A ranch right down the road and Dixon?
- 18:08Speaker 8: Nice?
- 18:09Speaker 6: Are you gonna buy it? You have to not. You
- 18:10Speaker 6: have to get people in with you.
- 18:11Speaker 4: I can't do it by myself. I don't even have
- 18:13Speaker 4: that much storage. Like, I can't buy half a cow
- 18:15Speaker 4: or a quarter of a cow and put that on
- 18:16Speaker 4: my freezer. So but if you guys want to go
- 18:19Speaker 4: in and we split our cuts, Dude, if you want,
- 18:22Speaker 4: if you want, you can pick your ribbis or whatever
- 18:25Speaker 4: and I'll grow them for you. Nine hundred bucks. We
- 18:30Speaker 4: can all go in in a quarter of a cow.
- 18:31Speaker 6: Right now, I'm out. I don't need the meat, but
- 18:35Speaker 6: you love me. So now it's a third of a cow.
- 18:37Speaker 6: If you guys want it, and Mike, because Mike's vegan.
- 18:39Speaker 3: He Mike, I want to talking to you, Mike, Mike
- 18:43Speaker 3: buzz in just to throw it away.
- 18:44Speaker 1: So three hundred bucks, three hundred thirty three bucks from
- 18:47Speaker 1: each of you if you want all that meat.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Kevin, Kevin, dude, I'm in.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Was that me?
- 18:57Speaker 10: Don't do it?
- 18:58Speaker 6: It's actually a cow and you hear the one we.
- 19:01Speaker 8: Can so if it's me, you and Brandon.
- 19:02Speaker 11: What is it?
- 19:02Speaker 8: Three hundred bucks?
- 19:03Speaker 6: Three thirty three, three thirty three?
- 19:04Speaker 10: Let me think about it.
- 19:05Speaker 8: I got to know how much it is too, because
- 19:07Speaker 8: to your point, I.
- 19:07Speaker 6: Got right, that's a thousand. I was thinking if I
- 19:10Speaker 6: were to do it, I'd say it was a thousand
- 19:12Speaker 6: if it were nine hundred. So it's three hundred, you
- 19:14Speaker 6: make a hundred. In my mind, I was yes.
- 19:16Speaker 4: In my mind, I was like, how yeah, I mean
- 19:18Speaker 4: there may be some processing fees in there. Oh my god,
- 19:23Speaker 4: that's not going to be any more than like it.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Can be three thirty three. Now, that's what That's what
- 19:27Speaker 6: I'm saying.
- 19:27Speaker 4: It might be three thirty three.
- 19:29Speaker 6: Dude, I mean, I'm in you're not get it till April.
- 19:32Speaker 4: It's a year.
- 19:33Speaker 8: Yeah, a year, right, they're going to raise it, and yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 8: that's fine. That gives me time to create space.
- 19:36Speaker 4: If we if we say yes today, they're going to
- 19:40Speaker 4: he's going to buy the cow as a little calf.
- 19:42Speaker 6: He's making money off of you.
- 19:44Speaker 3: No, man, he said no, It's just this feels like
- 19:46Speaker 3: a pyramid scheme right now, the way you're talking, and
- 19:48Speaker 3: then you get.
- 19:50Speaker 10: Yeah, you get it on the ground floor. Can we
- 19:52Speaker 10: come visit the cow.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Yes, yes, he says, I send you pictures of it
- 19:56Speaker 4: and make it work.
- 19:57Speaker 10: It would make it worse for the cow.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Mysterious he dies, So you're out completely.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I don't want the meat what you love meat? Yeah,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but I like to buy meat from the grocery store
- 20:08Speaker 1: now when I want it and when you need it. Yeah, okay,
- 20:12Speaker 1: And I don't need you to cook it.
- 20:13Speaker 10: Brandon Man, I'm I'm I'll let you know.
- 20:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 20:17Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Clock's ticking, though, guy.
- 20:19Speaker 8: That is the line of them out.
- 20:20Speaker 6: You can't press us on the Clucks table.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I'm just saying, the longer we wait, the longer we
- 20:23Speaker 4: have to wait for this meat, it's gonna take a
- 20:26Speaker 4: whole year.
- 20:28Speaker 6: That to me is not appealing. Yeah, it's gonna take
- 20:32Speaker 6: a whole year. You might die. Well then you spend
- 20:35Speaker 6: all this money or the.
- 20:37Speaker 10: Cow might die like that, Mike.
- 20:39Speaker 8: Yeah, we got to sign something who makes sure the
- 20:42Speaker 8: cow gets to a certain You.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Guys are out whatever.
- 20:44Speaker 6: Hey, Kevin said he might be in me, so just
- 20:46Speaker 6: me and Kevin. I thought was the money making opportunity.
- 20:48Speaker 6: I'd have been in on that.
- 20:49Speaker 4: But it's a meat making, yeah opportunity.
- 20:52Speaker 6: Did you watch the Dinosaurs on Netflix.
- 20:54Speaker 8: Yeah, well not all of them. I've watched three of
- 20:57Speaker 8: the whole Dinosaurs the Dinosaurs.
- 21:00Speaker 6: I thought about watching it, we didn't jump.
- 21:03Speaker 8: Yeah, and if you've seen the reviews, it's got like
- 21:05Speaker 8: these glowing that's all we even thought about it. And
- 21:08Speaker 8: I'm like, I watched, We've watched, like I said, three
- 21:11Speaker 8: or the four, and I'm gonna watch the last one.
- 21:13Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure, but I'm not like eager to watch it.
- 21:16Speaker 8: It's been almost a week and I haven't watched it
- 21:18Speaker 8: and they're only like forty five minutes.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Would you buy a quarter of a trinosaurus for?
- 21:23Speaker 8: Yeah, the graphics, the CGI, all that is unreal amazing,
- 21:30Speaker 8: but like the stories themselves and the facts and all that,
- 21:32Speaker 8: it's just like I don't feel like I'm learning anything,
- 21:34Speaker 8: and I want to learn something if I'm watching it,
- 21:36Speaker 8: Like they just throw random stuff in here and there.
- 21:38Speaker 8: They go from like two hundred three thirty million years
- 21:40Speaker 8: to like ninety eight and then back, I don't know,
- 21:43Speaker 8: back and forth. So it's good to watch visually, but
- 21:47Speaker 8: it's not my favorite.
- 21:48Speaker 6: Mike, do you watch it?
- 21:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 21:49Speaker 5: I learned a lot, but learned a lot about what
- 21:51Speaker 5: though Mike, like how the dinosaurs adapted to the environment,
- 21:54Speaker 5: how much the world has changed over all those millions
- 21:56Speaker 5: of years, and like how they're basically chickens.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Feel like it's like because that's their birds.
- 22:02Speaker 4: I watched the first episode and oh you did, Yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 4: I did, And I felt like I was like, this
- 22:06Speaker 4: is a cool fictional story, Like like, how do they.
- 22:10Speaker 8: Know that too? That's another fact.
- 22:13Speaker 4: I enjoyed it because it's kind of like, well, that's
- 22:15Speaker 4: cool the visual of.
- 22:15Speaker 6: That commendating by their bones. Possibly no, no, no, no,
- 22:19Speaker 6: not possibly.
- 22:20Speaker 4: It's a guess. But from Mike to be like, I
- 22:22Speaker 4: learned so much. I don't know what we learned.
- 22:24Speaker 6: It is not a guess. It's I mean, I think
- 22:29Speaker 6: they form a hypothesis and they chase it down.
- 22:31Speaker 4: That's a guess. That's a fancy way of saying a guess.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Yeah, but then they do the work to figure out
- 22:34Speaker 1: if they feel like it's true based on what they
- 22:36Speaker 1: originally thought.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Yeah, now it is cool to see like a dinosaur attack. Yeah,
- 22:40Speaker 4: Like that's cool to see that real.
- 22:42Speaker 7: I know.
- 22:42Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. It's a good movie. It's like
- 22:44Speaker 4: it's it's like watching a movie. But I wouldn't watch
- 22:47Speaker 4: it to be like.
- 22:47Speaker 6: There are scientologists paleontologists.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Yeah, but they're just like us, man.
- 22:52Speaker 6: They're not.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Those titles make them sound so smart, but they're just
- 22:57Speaker 4: like us, you know, like they're hanging out of the
- 22:58Speaker 4: bar right now watching basketball.
- 23:00Speaker 8: Yeah, buying a cow.
- 23:03Speaker 10: Does it help that Morgan Freeman is.
- 23:05Speaker 8: Of course that's cool. Yeah, it's cool to look at
- 23:09Speaker 8: and watch and all that. But even like the first dinosaur,
- 23:12Speaker 8: I don't really know where it came from still.
- 23:15Speaker 10: Forty billion years ago.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Yeah, but the.
- 23:17Speaker 6: First anything, we really don't know where it came from.
- 23:19Speaker 10: I know, and new phrase, the velociraptor.
- 23:22Speaker 8: It was a tiny one.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I can't believe that you think of paleontology is just
- 23:27Speaker 1: like us. Yeah, I mean, but what about like an astrophysicist.
- 23:31Speaker 4: The only reason I say that is because, like I
- 23:33Speaker 4: went to high school with people that are doctors, and
- 23:34Speaker 4: I'm like, dude, I know I know these guys.
- 23:36Speaker 6: Okay, but you're not taking a shot at paleontology.
- 23:40Speaker 4: No, No, just just because.
- 23:42Speaker 1: You said they guess, but you could say that about physicists, correct.
- 23:46Speaker 6: You can say that about a lot of science.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, So you watched the Dinosaur one. It's like,
- 23:51Speaker 4: it's really cool. The visual is awesome, but I wouldn't
- 23:53Speaker 4: look at it and be like, wow, that's really how
- 23:55Speaker 4: it was. We don't know. They're just guessing about.
- 23:58Speaker 6: When they do unsolved mysteries and they show you the
- 24:00Speaker 6: person doing the crime.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I love those.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Based on what the conclusions they've drawn. Huh the reenactments
- 24:07Speaker 6: is that real? No, it's not close though, based on
- 24:09Speaker 6: what they know. The Dinosaur Show is basically just unsolved
- 24:12Speaker 6: mysteries pretty much.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah, the reenactment. Yeah, there's one where like Matthew McConaughey's
- 24:16Speaker 4: reenacting one like an unsolved mystery nonosaur.
- 24:24Speaker 6: You also didn't believe in dinosaurs though, I remember correctly
- 24:26Speaker 6: until a few years ago.
- 24:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 4: A couple of years ago is when I wait.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Wait what exactly? That's what I'm trying to piece all
- 24:31Speaker 1: this together. As he's talking. I just remember Eddie also,
- 24:34Speaker 1: he just thought they were fictional, as like they were
- 24:36Speaker 1: a cartoon, not real, correct.
- 24:38Speaker 4: I remember going to the museum and they'd have like
- 24:41Speaker 4: dinosaur prints. I'm like, oh, that's cute, like dinosaurs. It's
- 24:44Speaker 4: like it's like Medusa, like, oh, she had snakes coming
- 24:47Speaker 4: out of her head. Cool like Zeus, you had lightning bolts.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Love it.
- 24:51Speaker 6: So mythology and dinosaurs to you were the same.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Correct, And then I realized later, I'm like, no, this
- 24:56Speaker 4: is they were like real animals that.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Later like a few years ago, like two years ago.
- 25:03Speaker 7: Wow.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought it was like a yeah, like a
- 25:06Speaker 4: myth the dinosaurs roam in the earth. But it's crazy.
- 25:11Speaker 4: The thing is, I don't think that they were as
- 25:13Speaker 4: big as we thought that they were, right, Like, they're
- 25:16Speaker 4: not super super huge.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Well, scale was different because they weren't buildings to compare
- 25:20Speaker 1: it to, right, So I do think I don't know,
- 25:22Speaker 1: let's ask.
- 25:24Speaker 8: And it just took millions of years to get to
- 25:26Speaker 8: that size.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Like I think the Bronosaurus in my mind is the biggest.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Now it's only because as a kid it was always
- 25:32Speaker 1: painted the biggest. Yeah, So let me ask here, what
- 25:37Speaker 1: was the largest dinosaur and how large was it?
- 25:41Speaker 2: The largest known dinosaur, and indeed the largest land animal
- 25:45Speaker 2: ever was probably Argentinosaurus. This massive titanosaur lived during the
- 25:49Speaker 2: Late Cretaceous period around ninety five to one hundred million
- 25:53Speaker 2: years ago. Based on fossil estimates, Argentinosaurus is thought to
- 25:57Speaker 2: have reached lengths of about one hundred to one hundred
- 25:59Speaker 2: and twenty feet and may have weighed in the ballpark.
- 26:01Speaker 6: Of seventy to one hundred tons.
- 26:04Speaker 12: In other words, it was like a walking building.
- 26:07Speaker 6: How big was the Bronosaurus?
- 26:10Speaker 2: The Brontosaurus was definitely big, though not as gigantic as
- 26:13Speaker 2: the largest titanosaurs. Adults were typically around seventy to seventy
- 26:17Speaker 2: five feet long and weighed about fifteen to twenty tons.
- 26:21Speaker 2: They were still massive by any measure. Picture something longer
- 26:24Speaker 2: than a standard school bus and weighing more than a
- 26:26Speaker 2: couple of elephants.
- 26:28Speaker 6: How tall was the Bronosaurus?
- 26:31Speaker 2: Brontosaurus stood roughly fifteen to twenty feet tall at the hips.
- 26:35Speaker 2: When you factor in its long neck extending upwards, it
- 26:38Speaker 2: could easily reach around forty to fifty feet high when
- 26:41Speaker 2: stretching its neck upward, so it could feed from pretty
- 26:44Speaker 2: tall trees, making it a true giant of the Jurassic.
- 26:48Speaker 4: That's pretty big.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Twenty feet from the hips.
- 26:50Speaker 4: That's really big.
- 26:52Speaker 6: Huh what does she call it?
- 26:53Speaker 4: A tight tightenanus?
- 26:54Speaker 1: I guess that's a bigger version of just a dinosaur that.
- 26:56Speaker 1: It feels like some transformers, doesn't it?
- 26:58Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm sending you a picture of the arch tinosaurs.
- 27:00Speaker 10: Whoa thank you? This is insane? Yes, come on, and
- 27:04Speaker 10: these are the fossils that they found, right, That are real?
- 27:09Speaker 4: Eddie, That are real?
- 27:09Speaker 7: Now?
- 27:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I have one other question.
- 27:12Speaker 1: We have a friend here who doesn't really believe in dinosaurs,
- 27:15Speaker 1: or he has a loose belief in them, but he
- 27:17Speaker 1: thinks they're just guessing. Whenever he watches a series like
- 27:21Speaker 1: on Netflix called Dinosaurs, he doesn't think.
- 27:23Speaker 6: That they really are what are depicted. What would you
- 27:26Speaker 6: say to.
- 27:26Speaker 2: Him, I'd say it's understandable to be skeptical of how
- 27:31Speaker 2: exact we can be, after all, we're talking about creatures
- 27:34Speaker 2: from millions of years ago. But I'd remind him that
- 27:37Speaker 2: paleontology is a science. It's not just guesswork. It's based
- 27:42Speaker 2: on fossils, bones, and evidence. Scientists piece together clues like footprints,
- 27:47Speaker 2: fossilized skin impressions, and even chemical analysis of bones. Are
- 27:51Speaker 2: the Netflix animations perfect? No, they are artistic interpretations based
- 27:56Speaker 2: on the best available evidence. But the bones themselves, those
- 28:00Speaker 2: are real, and they tell us these creatures absolutely existed.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, what they look like? I mean, she's
- 28:07Speaker 4: she's saying that what they look like.
- 28:09Speaker 6: She's not saying what you said.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Yeah, but like we don't know how they moved. We
- 28:12Speaker 4: don't even know how they the other ones, or how.
- 28:14Speaker 1: They move based on how big they were, or even
- 28:17Speaker 1: like the distance and bones.
- 28:20Speaker 6: Yeah, like if you put the hips together the legs.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Did you see a picture of the Yeah, the bumblebee
- 28:26Speaker 6: you sent me bumblebee Argentinasaurus. Wow, that looks like a
- 28:33Speaker 6: Tyrannosaurus and a bronosaurus made love and that came out.
- 28:36Speaker 6: It looks mean and angry with the teeth. But then
- 28:38Speaker 6: it's a big, tall, draft looking thing, like a how
- 28:41Speaker 6: did it turn to a dinosaur?
- 28:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 28:43Speaker 8: I'm here for it, Eddie called out the pilliontologist.
- 28:46Speaker 6: Yeah, it was kind of.
- 28:46Speaker 4: Weird because you're not from out you are. I think
- 28:49Speaker 4: they're doing fine, fine work, but we're also guessing.
- 28:55Speaker 6: They're not guessing. That's not accurate. They're not guessing.
- 28:58Speaker 4: They're not guessing how one dinosaur attack the other one. Yes,
- 29:01Speaker 4: they are based on how they think.
- 29:03Speaker 6: The based on guessing. They're formulating educated opinions based on
- 29:10Speaker 6: the chemical, the bones, everything that they're able to put together.
- 29:13Speaker 6: So they're not guessing, you're like a lawyer. No, I'm not.
- 29:15Speaker 1: There's just a difference in guessing and having some evidence
- 29:19Speaker 1: and basing what you think based off the evidence that
- 29:24Speaker 1: is given.
- 29:24Speaker 7: Right.
- 29:24Speaker 3: What's crazy is how they can see from the teeth
- 29:28Speaker 3: that these dinosaurs are carnivores or herbivores. Because they can
- 29:32Speaker 3: see from the teeth, that's that's incredible to me. So
- 29:35Speaker 3: they can predict Oh, yeah, the tyrannosaurus, this is what
- 29:38Speaker 3: his teeth looks like. They can see from bones that
- 29:41Speaker 3: have been probably attacked by those same teeth.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Or even the bones. You know. No, but Eddie says,
- 29:47Speaker 6: there's no way.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Oh, Eddie, they're probably at a bar being like, guys,
- 29:50Speaker 4: we got to come up with something. We've been doing
- 29:52Speaker 4: this for how long?
- 29:53Speaker 8: One more shot and we'll get it.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Come on, all right.
- 29:58Speaker 1: We have Robert Parish coming up. Robert pars the Celtics
- 30:00Speaker 1: great who wrote a book.
- 30:02Speaker 6: We'll talk to him.
- 30:05Speaker 1: And then Eddie got into it with a kid at
- 30:06Speaker 1: the gym, so we'll talk about that. Got into it
- 30:10Speaker 1: a fight.
- 30:10Speaker 6: Yeah, just you know, clarify, I didn't say what else.
- 30:14Speaker 4: I don't think Eddie got into it with a kid.
- 30:17Speaker 4: It just sounds weird.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Just I don't think got into it. Sounds weird.
- 30:20Speaker 8: I wouldn't have gone there, said just.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Clarifying, then, you just want to be very clear.
- 30:24Speaker 6: If I said Eddie wrestled with a kid in the.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Yeah, or Eddie did some weird things with a kid
- 30:30Speaker 3: that or even Eddie punched a kid, that'd be even worse.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Got into it, got in yeah, So that's coming up.

- 31:46Speaker 1: Hall of Famer in Boston Celtics legend Robert Parrish, The Chief.
- 31:52Speaker 1: That name was given him by Cedric Maxwell for his
- 31:54Speaker 1: quiet and stoic demeanor during his playing days. Four time
- 31:57Speaker 1: NBA Champion, nine time All Star, a big part of
- 32:00Speaker 1: the Celtics long dynasty run in the eighties. He's got
- 32:02Speaker 1: a new book called The Chief, The Story of the
- 32:04Speaker 1: Boston Celtics most Enigmatic Icon, which you can purchase on Amazon.
- 32:08Speaker 1: If you're a Chief fan, I guess you could also
- 32:11Speaker 1: be a Celtics fan. Let's say Chiefs fan.
- 32:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Big.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Thanks to Robert Parrish for coming all of us. He's
- 32:16Speaker 1: seventy two years old and tall, very tall. Yeah, and
- 32:20Speaker 1: he won a championship with the Bulls. Yeah, which is crazy.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You forget about that.
- 32:25Speaker 8: Yeah, you don't think about that. He played with Bird
- 32:27Speaker 8: and Michael Jordan Dan won a championship.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Crazy here he is Robert Parrish. My first question is, like,
- 32:34Speaker 1: I know you for not saying much. So how tough
- 32:37Speaker 1: was it to write a book where you had to
- 32:38Speaker 1: say everything?
- 32:40Speaker 11: Actually quite easy, as I've seen before, more open, more acceensible.
- 32:52Speaker 7: Listen there.
- 32:54Speaker 11: So I feel like because of the transformation, the growth,
- 33:00Speaker 11: whatever you want to call it, I feel like it
- 33:02Speaker 11: was a good time to do about to then let my.
- 33:06Speaker 7: Fans and my haters you know that I.
- 33:11Speaker 11: Can hear a personality at this file. I do their jokes,
- 33:15Speaker 11: I do talk a lot of trash. Should just get him.
- 33:18Speaker 11: I looked through that window and who in what I
- 33:21Speaker 11: am not? Just an athlete.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Something that I did not know is that you were
- 33:25Speaker 1: drafted by Golden State. I just I can see you
- 33:27Speaker 1: playing with the Celtics, but I didn't know you were
- 33:28Speaker 1: drafted by Golden State. So you played with them for
- 33:30Speaker 1: a few years. What was it like personally? What did
- 33:33Speaker 1: it feel like to be traded I.
- 33:35Speaker 11: Took it as an insult initially because he was in
- 33:39Speaker 11: the midst of.
- 33:42Speaker 7: Doing a new contract.
- 33:44Speaker 11: US in contract negotiations, so I thought I was getting
- 33:47Speaker 11: going in the process of getting an extension from the Warriors.
- 33:51Speaker 11: And then when we was two days away from finalizing
- 33:54Speaker 11: the deal, I get a call from the Warriors on
- 33:58Speaker 11: the general manager saying that I had been traded. And
- 34:03Speaker 11: so my first instinct was I'm going to a city
- 34:08Speaker 11: that reminds me of the South, segregation and playing with
- 34:13Speaker 11: an overrated white boy, and that was wrong on both fronts.
- 34:20Speaker 1: No, of course, growing up in Louisiana, then you're in
- 34:23Speaker 1: California like Boston. To me growing up in the South,
- 34:26Speaker 1: I grew up in Arkansas. First time ever went to
- 34:27Speaker 1: Boston or New York, it was a culture shock to me,
- 34:29Speaker 1: Like to you when you go to Boston, What was
- 34:32Speaker 1: it like for you the first time?
- 34:34Speaker 11: No, very warm reception, the executives, ownership, fans were very gracious,
- 34:43Speaker 11: very warm receptives. Initially getting back on my perception that
- 34:49Speaker 11: I had of Boston coming in the perception that far
- 34:54Speaker 11: worse than reality. I have never experienced any type of
- 35:00Speaker 11: rejection in the type of prejudice has just been all
- 35:04Speaker 11: love for me.
- 35:05Speaker 7: Now, don't get me wrong.
- 35:07Speaker 11: I know prejudice and racism is in every city, So
- 35:11Speaker 11: I'm not gonna say Bosston does not have its flows.
- 35:14Speaker 7: Every city does.
- 35:15Speaker 11: I'm just saying I was not exposed to it, That's
- 35:19Speaker 11: all I'm saying. And to piggyback on what I'm saying
- 35:22Speaker 11: about that overrated white boy, was I ever rolled?
- 35:29Speaker 7: If anything? He's underread in my opinion? Anyways?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Yeah, what was it like? What was Larry like? I
- 35:36Speaker 1: got a Larry ball that sits behind me here too.
- 35:38Speaker 1: What was Larry like as a dude?
- 35:40Speaker 7: Cool? Cool brother, no question about it. You got to
- 35:44Speaker 7: get to know him though.
- 35:45Speaker 11: If you don't know him, he gives off that vibe
- 35:49Speaker 11: leaving me alone. I don't want to be bothered. But
- 35:52Speaker 11: if you get to know him, if he let you
- 35:54Speaker 11: in to his inner circle, ah funny, always talking trash.
- 35:59Speaker 11: If he's legendary league know for the have a sense
- 36:03Speaker 11: of humor, easy to get along with. I like his
- 36:07Speaker 11: leadership style. He's not aggressive with his leadership. He leads
- 36:12Speaker 11: by example and he's not the vocal type leader, which
- 36:15Speaker 11: I think long term works best because if you are
- 36:20Speaker 11: confrontational and gets in people of face. After a while,
- 36:23Speaker 11: they know you and what you're saying become background knows.
- 36:28Speaker 11: So all around, I have no complaints about my time
- 36:33Speaker 11: with Larry and the Boston Celtics. It's been all good.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Whenever you sat down and you started writing the book,
- 36:40Speaker 1: was there a part of your life that you wanted
- 36:42Speaker 1: to share that it was important for you to share
- 36:44Speaker 1: because you didn't think people quite understood this part of
- 36:48Speaker 1: your story?
- 36:49Speaker 7: The people poet, I.
- 36:51Speaker 11: Know that I have these tendencies or peculiarities, whatever you
- 36:57Speaker 11: want to call them. I know I give off that
- 36:59Speaker 11: vibe in and dismissives, and I know this one that
- 37:04Speaker 11: that's probably the main reason why my relationship with the
- 37:08Speaker 11: Boston media is would be a word fragile, And that's
- 37:16Speaker 11: mainly because of me. Nothing that the Boston media deed
- 37:21Speaker 11: or said. I'm really not a people person. I prefer
- 37:25Speaker 11: my own company. And I know I made their job
- 37:28Speaker 11: difficult because I pretty much avoided them as much as
- 37:33Speaker 11: I could, and that made their job more difficult.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Whenever you were coming up as a kid, you didn't
- 37:38Speaker 1: play basketball till a little later than most kids did.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Someone discover you as an athlete and go, hey, we
- 37:44Speaker 1: need to put you in basketball, and how quickly did
- 37:46Speaker 1: you adapt to actually being good at basketball?
- 37:48Speaker 7: Well, I would say I've discovered as an athlete.
- 37:52Speaker 11: I was discovered as a tall person because I said
- 37:56Speaker 11: it was not an athlete by any stretch of the
- 37:59Speaker 11: imagine that. My junior high school coach, Coleman Kid, pursued me,
- 38:07Speaker 11: encouraged me.
- 38:11Speaker 7: Always with the positivity.
- 38:14Speaker 11: Especially I just started playing organized basketball until the seventh grade,
- 38:21Speaker 11: and it showed growing up my siblings and my neighbors friends,
- 38:28Speaker 11: we played baseball, football, soccer, We raised rand track. We
- 38:33Speaker 11: never played basketball. So it was.
- 38:38Speaker 7: Very humbly.
- 38:41Speaker 11: Awkward time in my life because athletics came naturally to me,
- 38:46Speaker 11: except for basketball. Was not a good showing a good
- 38:53Speaker 11: start my first two years. I felt like I was
- 38:57Speaker 11: wasting my time. But my coach at the time, Coach Kid,
- 39:02Speaker 11: told me to stay with it. You were that tall
- 39:05Speaker 11: for a reason, And I used to tell him, Yeah,
- 39:07Speaker 11: I'm just tall for a reason because my parents are tall.
- 39:11Speaker 7: That's the only reason I could think of. Secondly, not
- 39:15Speaker 7: because they have the legs. No.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Of course, at what point did basketball start to feel
- 39:20Speaker 1: easier to you?
- 39:22Speaker 11: One day ninth grade before give you a little context here.
- 39:28Speaker 7: Before school started.
- 39:31Speaker 11: At eight o'clock ball ranged, we used to have more
- 39:34Speaker 11: than screammages every morning, and so I never showed any prumis,
- 39:40Speaker 11: never showed any possibilities of getting better. The only thing
- 39:45Speaker 11: I a dog was just getting cart of you or
- 39:47Speaker 11: running them down the floor. That's all I was able
- 39:49Speaker 11: to do. And then maybe the third game into my
- 39:56Speaker 11: ninth grade, that third season to basketball. Don't ask me
- 40:03Speaker 11: how I called it, but I can never catch it before.
- 40:07Speaker 11: So for me, there was a turning point. My number
- 40:12Speaker 11: junior high school was double zero, and my teammates and
- 40:17Speaker 11: the student body used to call me double nothing, and
- 40:20Speaker 11: it was appropriate because.
- 40:22Speaker 7: I didn't have any.
- 40:25Speaker 11: Idea of what to do it with the basketball until
- 40:30Speaker 11: the ninth grade.
- 40:31Speaker 7: And then for some reason, it just all came together.
- 40:34Speaker 11: All that hard work, all that sacrifice, all that encouragement
- 40:38Speaker 11: from Coach Key, pay you off. I would finally rewarded
- 40:44Speaker 11: for the effort.
- 40:45Speaker 1: We have a guy in the show that is a
- 40:47Speaker 1: massive Celtics fan, like die Hard, and so I wanted
- 40:50Speaker 1: to bring him in to ask you a couple questions.
- 40:51Speaker 8: This is Kevin, Yeah, how you doing, mister Parrish or
- 40:54Speaker 8: Chief Chief one. All right, I appreciate that. Thanks for
- 40:57Speaker 8: coming on. You were part of the eighties Celtics Lakers
- 41:01Speaker 8: rivalry that I wasn't around to see what my dad
- 41:04Speaker 8: still talks about till this day, and people say it
- 41:07Speaker 8: brought basketball back, the NBA back. What was that like
- 41:10Speaker 8: playing in that rivalry just for ten straight years, basically
- 41:13Speaker 8: playing each other all the time in the finals, you
- 41:15Speaker 8: guys getting the best of them.
- 41:16Speaker 7: What was that like?
- 41:17Speaker 11: It was rewarding, It was education, you know, I would
- 41:25Speaker 11: have to say they had tremendous influence and they definitely
- 41:30Speaker 11: had out of attention because I know they paid attention
- 41:32Speaker 11: to what we was doing, who we was playing, how
- 41:37Speaker 11: bad we beat them, And we did the same thing
- 41:41Speaker 11: with the Lakers. We followed them, we paid attention to
- 41:44Speaker 11: them because they pretty much mirrroded the way we go
- 41:48Speaker 11: about our business. We played hard, we played together, we
- 41:53Speaker 11: played smart, and that's the way the Lakers played and
- 41:57Speaker 11: approached the game.
- 41:58Speaker 7: Also, so I.
- 42:00Speaker 11: Think Larry Magic had they had a lot to do
- 42:03Speaker 11: with the intensity of the robbery. I'm gonna go back
- 42:08Speaker 11: to the father, Russell Chamberlain started that Laker Celtic robbery,
- 42:14Speaker 11: in my opinion, and then Larry and Magic in college
- 42:18Speaker 11: and that continued onto the pros. So that just intensified
- 42:23Speaker 11: that robbery because of the competitive nature of those players.
- 42:28Speaker 11: So I always feel like it was great not only
- 42:31Speaker 11: for the Lakers and the Celtics, but for the fans
- 42:34Speaker 11: and the NBA because we played some of the best
- 42:37Speaker 11: basketball at that time.
- 42:40Speaker 8: And what about rivalries in general? Back then? We see
- 42:42Speaker 8: all the clips of the fights you lamber everybody going on.
- 42:45Speaker 8: It was that real or was that like a competitive
- 42:48Speaker 8: thing on the court? Did you guys actually hate each other?
- 42:50Speaker 7: I think hated too strong of the word wheals.
- 42:54Speaker 11: If they disliked them, we didn't like one another, I
- 42:58Speaker 11: think it's safe to say that.
- 43:00Speaker 7: But certain.
- 43:02Speaker 11: They Detroit was the up and coming team in the East,
- 43:08Speaker 11: our biggest rival in the East. Where the seventy six ers,
- 43:12Speaker 11: Doctor j and Tony and Cheeks and Babba Jones and
- 43:16Speaker 11: Dawkins and those guys, and then Larry uh And and
- 43:22Speaker 11: Doctor you know who's the best player in the East.
- 43:26Speaker 11: They were both describing and competing for dominants and.
- 43:31Speaker 7: The best be number one.
- 43:34Speaker 11: And then that ribery escalated when the seventy Sixers got
- 43:38Speaker 11: Moses Malone. I think that the ribery intensified made both
- 43:44Speaker 11: sides more competitive. Muth watch basketball in my opinion, every
- 43:50Speaker 11: time those two teams met.
- 43:52Speaker 7: So it was great for the NBA, great for.
- 43:55Speaker 11: The Celtics seventy six ers and uh, I must say
- 43:59Speaker 11: having more in the ease help make all of us
- 44:03Speaker 11: better because we had to get better to get past
- 44:07Speaker 11: the sixers.
- 44:08Speaker 10: And what about this year.
- 44:09Speaker 8: I saw you at the game recently, the Celtics just
- 44:12Speaker 8: going to playoff spot and big surprise for everybody as
- 44:15Speaker 8: Mucchal as the fans, what do you think is it
- 44:17Speaker 8: Missoula is a Jalen Brown this year that they were
- 44:19Speaker 8: able to outperform what the expectations were.
- 44:23Speaker 11: It starts upstairs, Brad Stevens, the architect, That's where it starts.
- 44:28Speaker 11: And then and then trickle down to the coach Joe Missoula.
- 44:33Speaker 11: I think the mentality of the mindset, and also you
- 44:36Speaker 11: got to get the players created for buying into coach
- 44:39Speaker 11: Missoula's philosophy. They kind of mirror the Celtics of the
- 44:44Speaker 11: eighties and in disregard they play hard, they play smart,
- 44:48Speaker 11: and they play together. And unfortunately that Tatum got hurt.
- 44:53Speaker 11: He went down with an injury. But I think what
- 44:56Speaker 11: that injury did, it made the current and Celtics realized
- 45:02Speaker 11: the benefits and the rewards of playing solid defense, consistent defense,
- 45:09Speaker 11: and that's one of the reasons why they won the
- 45:11Speaker 11: championship because they were playing there suffocating, disrupted defense, and
- 45:16Speaker 11: they're back to those defensive tendencies. And I think it's
- 45:19Speaker 11: one of the main reasons why you see a surprise
- 45:23Speaker 11: because in my opinion, I don't think the Celtics was
- 45:27Speaker 11: starting over when they lost Tatum. They just reloaded guys
- 45:31Speaker 11: that stepped up. White Preacher and Company just stepped up
- 45:35Speaker 11: along with Jaylen Brown. They all stepped up and picked
- 45:39Speaker 11: up the board that was left by Jason Tatum, since
- 45:43Speaker 11: he is their best player.
- 45:44Speaker 1: You played for twenty one seasons. How did you stay
- 45:47Speaker 1: healthy for twenty one seasons?
- 45:49Speaker 7: A big health to due some luck.
- 45:51Speaker 11: First of all, anatomy played that played the part genetics
- 45:57Speaker 11: rather and.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Stretching. I took.
- 46:03Speaker 11: The martial arts. We stretched for an hour before we
- 46:08Speaker 11: did any type of defensive defensive moves and poses and tactics.
- 46:18Speaker 7: Also, I took the yogurt. That helped tremendously.
- 46:21Speaker 11: Also, because as you get older, you're tighter, stiffer, and
- 46:26Speaker 11: we all know that athletics as the parish of old skill.
- 46:30Speaker 11: When you start to lose it, you know you're running fast,
- 46:34Speaker 11: you know Jeffers high, you're not as mobile. That's when
- 46:37Speaker 11: the flexibility plays a major role. And I think all
- 46:41Speaker 11: of those factors is the main reason why I avoided
- 46:44Speaker 11: any significant injury. Because if you don't have a significant injury,
- 46:50Speaker 11: and you take care of yourself and there's still an
- 46:54Speaker 11: appetite for your services, you can play for a long time.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Will everybody checks out the book The Chief, the story

- 48:48Speaker 1: All right, more from Eddie at the basketball gym. Eddie
- 48:51Speaker 1: almost fought a kid this time. Whoa, This wasn't just
- 48:53Speaker 1: parents fighting.
- 48:54Speaker 4: No kids for me, No, this is a big, big deal.
- 48:57Speaker 7: Go ahead.
- 48:58Speaker 4: So my son came to me, one of my boys,
- 49:00Speaker 4: and he was like, hey, Dad, somebody and he was
- 49:03Speaker 4: had tears in his eyes, like somebody stole my basketball.
- 49:05Speaker 4: These two boys in the hallway. They picked me up
- 49:07Speaker 4: like I don't know what's going on. So hey, Papa
- 49:09Speaker 4: Bear stepped up. So I'm like, show me these kids
- 49:12Speaker 4: and we walked out of the hallway. He said that
- 49:15Speaker 4: one right there, Dad. So I walk up to the kid,
- 49:17Speaker 4: I got puffy chests and everything, say, hey, where's my ball?
- 49:21Speaker 4: He said, what ball? You know what ball I'm talking about?
- 49:24Speaker 6: He got with you.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Yes, I go give him my ball and he goes,
- 49:28Speaker 4: oh that ball, Oh yeah, yeah, yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 49:30Speaker 4: And he goes back and gets the ball, and I
- 49:32Speaker 4: was like, and pick on someone your own size.
- 49:35Speaker 10: Oh you hit him with that?
- 49:36Speaker 9: Oh?
- 49:36Speaker 7: Told him.
- 49:37Speaker 4: The fear in his eyes when I said that was crazy.
- 49:40Speaker 4: He was just like, yes, sir, Yes, sir.
- 49:43Speaker 6: What would you have done if you to punch you?
- 49:45Speaker 2: Oh?
- 49:45Speaker 4: What's tough. I didn't think about that because immediately I like,
- 49:49Speaker 4: fight back.
- 49:49Speaker 11: No.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Man, this kid was probably thirteen, maybe fourteen.
- 49:54Speaker 11: Uh.
- 49:55Speaker 4: I probably just would have held him, you know how
- 49:57Speaker 4: you do, like the hold his head while he's trying
- 49:59Speaker 4: to like punch your gout or something. Yeah, something like that.
- 50:03Speaker 4: So you got the ball back, got the ball.
- 50:04Speaker 6: But the kid learn his lesson.
- 50:06Speaker 4: So I kind of saw them. I mean this was
- 50:08Speaker 4: like early in the day, so I saw them later
- 50:11Speaker 4: kind of just staring at me, like three of them, like, oh,
- 50:13Speaker 4: they're gonna jump me in the parking lot.
- 50:14Speaker 6: Here we go, bunch of thirteen year olds.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Bit So there was a little bit of fear in me, like,
- 50:18Speaker 4: oh man, they're like gathering the troops and they're gonnattack
- 50:21Speaker 4: me in the parking lot. But nah, it never happened.
- 50:23Speaker 4: But we're good. We got the ball back. And I
- 50:25Speaker 4: told my son, Like, stop going to the concession stand
- 50:29Speaker 4: or the hallway and messing with other boys, Like you're alone.
- 50:32Speaker 4: If you got five of your friends, do whatever you want,
- 50:34Speaker 4: that's fine. But by yourself dribbling the basketball in the
- 50:36Speaker 4: hallway in a different city, we don't even know where
- 50:38Speaker 4: we are, who these kids are. It's gonna happen, So
- 50:41Speaker 4: don't do that.
- 50:41Speaker 6: Do you watch you FC?
- 50:42Speaker 4: This weekend? Crazy UFC was crazy Macy Barber. Oh my gosh,
- 50:49Speaker 4: she got punched and dude, I thought she died. I've
- 50:53Speaker 4: watched you UFC for many years. I've never seen someone
- 50:57Speaker 4: like this before. Like she was out, her eyes were motionless,
- 51:01Speaker 4: her body was not moving for like three minutes straight.
- 51:05Speaker 1: Did they stop it immediately or did the person keep
- 51:08Speaker 1: pounding and the ref was just trying to decide.
- 51:10Speaker 6: When she was out.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Yes, that's always a weird thing where the refs got
- 51:13Speaker 1: to make a judgment call because sometimes they're pounding and
- 51:16Speaker 1: they're out or they're not quite out.
- 51:17Speaker 6: But it's borderline.
- 51:18Speaker 4: These fighters are trained to like don't stop until the
- 51:21Speaker 4: ref says it's over, like cause it might not be over.
- 51:24Speaker 4: So yeah, So I think her name was Alexa Grosso.
- 51:28Speaker 4: She punches her, knocks her out, but then she gets
- 51:32Speaker 4: around her and starts choking her like like a choke hold,
- 51:36Speaker 4: and she does it for like a good you know,
- 51:39Speaker 4: three seconds until the ref's like she's out. She's out,
- 51:42Speaker 4: get over and man, like I really thought she was dead.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Everyone did. My kids were in the kitchen wat you know,
- 51:47Speaker 4: doing something. They look over and one of my boys like, dad,
- 51:49Speaker 4: is she okay? I'm like, I really don't know, but
- 51:52Speaker 4: she got up eventually.
- 51:53Speaker 8: Dang, I'm watching it.
- 51:55Speaker 7: Is it bad?
- 51:56Speaker 8: Yeah, it's pretty bad. And then not to make fun
- 51:58Speaker 8: of it, but you know when they get up and
- 52:00Speaker 8: they start like wrestling the ref because I think it's
- 52:02Speaker 8: still going on, and she starts like taking out of it.
- 52:04Speaker 8: So she's so out of.
- 52:05Speaker 4: It, she grabbed the ref's leg like just kind of
- 52:07Speaker 4: almost like she's wrestling, like Kevin said the ref.
- 52:10Speaker 1: I saw a funny clip on TikTok speaking of kids basketball.
- 52:13Speaker 1: There's a sound that people play when people are shooting
- 52:18Speaker 1: a basketball, and it's a guy going, that's my man.
- 52:22Speaker 6: Have you guys seen this?
- 52:23Speaker 4: Yes?
- 52:23Speaker 1: Okay, So a kid was doing this to his friend,
- 52:26Speaker 1: but he wasn't using the sound that people use. He
- 52:29Speaker 1: was doing it himself.
- 52:30Speaker 4: Is this saying it?
- 52:30Speaker 1: Yes, the kid's probably ten years old, and the kid
- 52:33Speaker 1: is recording his friend shoot the shot. The free throats
- 52:35Speaker 1: at like a you know, Saturday ten year old game.
- 52:39Speaker 4: That's where I'm at usually, and.
- 52:40Speaker 1: He goes, that's my man, and the kid misses he's ten.
- 52:44Speaker 1: And the kid looks over and puts double birds up
- 52:47Speaker 1: and goes shut the f up, and the ref goes, what.
- 52:53Speaker 4: No, I mean, that's awesome, dude. I loved I'm telling
- 52:59Speaker 4: you when I was telling you about those AAU fights.
- 53:02Speaker 4: Like the kid that threw the bird to the man
- 53:04Speaker 4: that whistled, he was probably nine years old. To see
- 53:08Speaker 4: a nine year old flip a man off is hilarious.
- 53:12Speaker 6: That's my man. We're done, Thank you all for being here.
- 53:18Speaker 6: Hit us with that whistle, and then we will see
- 53:21Speaker 6: you guys later on this week.
- 53:23Speaker 4: I got you, man.
- 53:23Speaker 1: It's different whistle once we're in this studio. I know,
- 53:26Speaker 1: because Mike's got to whistle on the other studio. Eddie's
- 53:28Speaker 1: got to whistle in this studio. And I was a
- 53:29Speaker 1: lifeguard for many years. So my whistle's very like, hey
- 53:33Speaker 1: danger in the pool, whistle.
- 53:34Speaker 6: Hey nobody blows as naturally as you do.
- 53:37Speaker 4: All right, here we go.
- 53:39Speaker 6: All right, we'll see you guys later on this week.
- 53:40Speaker 6: Bye Buddy.
