- 0:03Speaker 1: It's a podcast called twenty five Wists Stocking fun Fall
- 0:08Speaker 1: and they are were a whizz. So yeah, it's too bad,
- 0:11Speaker 1: but what did you expect. It's a podcast called twenty five.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Whistles twenty line Wheel.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Thank you, welcome to the show. I think the thing
- 0:22Speaker 1: I read this morning that was most shocking to me
- 0:23Speaker 1: was that Steffler Shawn Williams Scott's worth like thirty million
- 0:26Speaker 1: dollars might sit story. No, I didn't see that crazy
- 0:31Speaker 1: because you think.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Well, what are you going from America? That's it.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Steffler character. He had a small role in uh the
- 0:40Speaker 1: HBO series Preacher, Big Mega Church, a Righteous Gemstone, Thank
- 0:44Speaker 1: You Due? Where's my car? Yeah? True, he had a
- 0:48Speaker 1: little run a couple of roles. But America Pie, Yes, yeah,
- 0:51Speaker 1: so I guess he's getting a divorce and all that
- 0:52Speaker 1: stuff is public, like you have to show what you made,
- 0:55Speaker 1: how you're making it. And he has like eighteen million
- 0:58Speaker 1: dollars in real estate. He's making like one hundred thousand
- 1:01Speaker 1: bucks a month. He's getting like thirty thousand bucks a
- 1:03Speaker 1: month in dividends off, Like, dude's got it going. I know,
- 1:05Speaker 1: it doesn't really say how he's making it. Wow, But
- 1:08Speaker 1: I would have expected unfairly that since he had a
- 1:11Speaker 1: very brief run, he would have had a very brief
- 1:14Speaker 1: run of making money. M and then he's like, you know,
- 1:17Speaker 1: struggling to get by.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Does his character have anything to do with that? Like
- 1:19Speaker 3: in the movies he kind of plays like a dumb guy.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You know, I want to say limited, it's just limited roles.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, Like I can think.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Of him in well only one, but now two movies
- 1:29Speaker 1: Role Model than that. I don't watch that.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's a good one.
- 1:31Speaker 1: That's really Wait did they play Beth in that? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I've seen that. Did he have a big role in that?
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:39Speaker 1: Paul Red All right, Well I was surprised he made
- 1:41Speaker 1: so much money.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Kevin's right though, like Aston Kutcher, right, Like, he always
- 1:45Speaker 4: played a dummy, so I always thought he was dumb.
- 1:47Speaker 2: But he's really smart, right, Like.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I think there's a little more made of how smart
- 1:52Speaker 1: he really is. I think that's been a narrative because
- 1:55Speaker 1: he like invested a bunch as an angel investor, he
- 1:57Speaker 1: had a bunch of money. I think he's probably somewhere
- 1:59Speaker 1: in the midday. He's probably pretty smart.
- 2:02Speaker 4: But those characters always get me though every time. Also, yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 4: same with Stiffler's Stiffler like he was a dummy. Like,
- 2:11Speaker 4: so I assume he was a dummy.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, that's anyway. I thought that was interesting. Cup beat
- 2:15Speaker 1: the Brewers again last night, which is pretty cool. They
- 2:17Speaker 1: won two out of three so far. They're playing a
- 2:18Speaker 1: five game series. It's because of rain delays. Gotcha. They're
- 2:23Speaker 1: only six back now from the Brewers. The Brewers one
- 2:25Speaker 1: fourteen in a row. Trust me, this is going to
- 2:27Speaker 1: be only a baseball minute. But I watched I don't
- 2:32Speaker 1: ever watch the full game, but I watched a bit
- 2:33Speaker 1: of it, and I kept track of it on my
- 2:35Speaker 1: my app. Here's something the Cubs playing the Brewers last
- 2:38Speaker 1: night and Boom Books Cambia, their their broadcaster said they
- 2:42Speaker 1: would buy an entire bar in Iowa Mozzarella sticks if
- 2:45Speaker 1: the Cubs turned a double play.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Here you go.
- 2:47Speaker 5: If he hits a ground ball and a short start
- 2:50Speaker 5: the six four three, will you buy Manzi sticks for
- 2:53Speaker 5: everybody at the corner?
- 2:54Speaker 1: Tap? Absolutely hard.
- 2:58Speaker 5: They don't know if they have Mozzarella's sticks. A quarter tap,
- 3:01Speaker 5: I'll go have seas with you. Okay, one cups, let's.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Go amazing bro up.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Pretty funny.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Huh yeah, yeah, I love how that worked out.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Food funny. I'll give you another food story that was crazy.
- 3:20Speaker 1: There's a Michelin starts chef who started cooking up a
- 3:23Speaker 1: burger made of pretty much cat food and people like it.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Oh no, man, So I will read to you because
- 3:32Speaker 1: I think the language of this story is very important.
- 3:36Speaker 1: A Michelin starred chef made a burger of stuff you
- 3:39Speaker 1: would usually only serve to a cat. People enjoy it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Chef and animal lover Alice Osten worked with cat food
- 3:45Speaker 1: brand cat Can to create a cat food burger. Here
- 3:49Speaker 1: are people on the street of London giving the cat
- 3:51Speaker 1: food burger a try. This is the cotkin kluck bugger.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That's try. I've never eaten cat food before.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I think he likes it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: The isshues, it's tasty, it's good. I wouldn't expect this
- 4:03Speaker 1: to beat cat food. It's a little mashamee, but flavor
- 4:05Speaker 1: wise actually not too bad. Exit all, it's not too bad.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It tastes like a boggle. I would rather people not
- 4:13Speaker 1: know it's cat food, correct, And then here and you
- 4:16Speaker 1: would think, well, if you know it's cat food and
- 4:19Speaker 1: you're eating it, maybe it feel grosser, But I think
- 4:21Speaker 1: what it does is that sex sets an expectation of
- 4:23Speaker 1: this is going to be gross, and so when it's
- 4:25Speaker 1: not gross, you're like, you know what, I think you
- 4:28Speaker 1: like that bad for cat food? Interesting? Yeah, and it's
- 4:33Speaker 1: a it's a fun little viral thing for that company
- 4:35Speaker 1: to do.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I wouldn't have eaten it. Like, well, if they come
- 4:37Speaker 4: like man on the street, you know, like, oh.
- 4:40Speaker 1: What if they don't say cat food. What if they're like, hey, wow,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'll try it. Chef Alice five star Michelin chef has
- 4:45Speaker 1: made this burger. We're getting people on the streets reaction
- 4:48Speaker 1: to it to see how good they think it is.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Would you take it?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Let me give it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: The risk there is like it's like human flesh or something.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know, you don't really ever know. You don't really
- 4:56Speaker 1: ever know it.
- 4:56Speaker 2: But if you tell me it's cat food, I won't
- 4:58Speaker 2: even try it. Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I don't know that I would have either unless it's
- 5:01Speaker 1: on my channel and I get this. Okay, Well, let's
- 5:06Speaker 1: do this as far as sports go, because this is
- 5:08Speaker 1: kind of the last week we have of it not existing.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It's in its early stages now as far as preseason football,
- 5:16Speaker 1: which I'm bored by. Preseason football. Now, it's like we
- 5:19Speaker 1: wait for week one a preseason. It's like Major League Baseball.
- 5:21Speaker 1: We wait for opening day and then it just kind
- 5:23Speaker 1: of sucks for a while until it gets good again.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Preseason you got your first game, then it's like who cares?
- 5:28Speaker 1: And then you wait for week one college football. Finally,
- 5:32Speaker 1: we have a game this weekend in Ireland, and I
- 5:35Speaker 1: do it early so they can get back and get
- 5:37Speaker 1: adjusted again. Yeah, because you have all the time before
- 5:39Speaker 1: to go to Ireland, and then you have once the
- 5:42Speaker 1: game start, it's like game, game, game, game game. But
- 5:45Speaker 1: they go to Ireland, they play, then they wait a
- 5:47Speaker 1: week then right. Yeah, it's a real game too, good game. Yeah,
- 5:51Speaker 1: it's real teams. It's Kansas State and Iowa.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Or Iowa State.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a solid game, real programs, yep, not fake
- 5:58Speaker 1: where I saw that. Next year Michigan is playing like
- 6:01Speaker 1: Eastern Michigan or something. Yeah, I hate to see too.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I don't care about that.
- 6:05Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 6:06Speaker 1: It's like, if you're first of all, I think college
- 6:08Speaker 1: football in the UK is kind of stupid. I think
- 6:12Speaker 1: NFL is cool over there because I get to watch
- 6:14Speaker 1: the games earlier, and that block that's when I wake up.
- 6:17Speaker 1: That's fun. And I also think they're trying to expand
- 6:20Speaker 1: the NFL globally, which makes sense. They're really not trying
- 6:23Speaker 1: to expand college football.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Well.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Kansas State, and I always say it, I feel like
- 6:26Speaker 3: is pretty random, like at least like I don't know,
- 6:28Speaker 3: Notre Dame. Maybe it's the fighting they played in Ireland.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and they played in Ireland and that made sense.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That makes sense. But Kansas State, and I always state
- 6:35Speaker 3: like two Midwest team just going out and playing in Dublin.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But even college is so regional, even in America, it's
- 6:41Speaker 1: so regional.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Like do they even know who Kansas State is? In Ireland?
- 6:45Speaker 1: There's no, And because it's not professional and players can leave,
- 6:50Speaker 1: there'll be no. It just doesn't make sense to play
- 6:51Speaker 1: college football over there.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So but it's whatever. We get to the game earlier,
- 6:56Speaker 1: we get to watch it.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, I like that money on it.
- 6:59Speaker 1: So there you go. Yep we do, and DraftKings come
- 7:03Speaker 1: back next week on the show. Let's go. Yeah, Carl anytime, baby,
- 7:06Speaker 1: glad to have a sponsor back our Draftking sponsors.
- 7:09Speaker 2: So there we missed it.
- 7:11Speaker 1: We did miss it. Sponsorship, well, we've they've never stayed
- 7:15Speaker 1: with us through just baseball, just.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You know, like I didn't see him for a while
- 7:19Speaker 2: in a while.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Yeah, we've never actually had a sponsor through like the
- 7:23Speaker 1: bad time.
- 7:23Speaker 2: That's right.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Why would they spend money for us to talk about nothing?
- 7:27Speaker 1: Nothing like for them to the better golfer? Yes, yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 1: Hey who did you play golf with? Because you said
- 7:35Speaker 1: you play golf for somebody really good and somebody really bad.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Man.
- 7:37Speaker 4: It was just a day where I was like, you
- 7:39Speaker 4: know what, let me go to the golf course, no
- 7:40Speaker 4: tea time and see if they can squeeze me in.
- 7:42Speaker 1: You did that.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I do it all the time. It just depends on
- 7:45Speaker 2: the day. If I'm like, you know, if it's open,
- 7:47Speaker 2: I'll just give it a shot.
- 7:48Speaker 4: And so they said, yeah, I wait about thirty minutes
- 7:51Speaker 4: and we'll hook get with someone harp.
- 7:53Speaker 1: With hills, got it.
- 7:54Speaker 4: So I go and I go to the driving range
- 7:58Speaker 4: and they're like, all right, you're good to go. You're
- 7:59Speaker 4: gonna take off with these two dudes. There was one
- 8:02Speaker 4: guy who was seventy maybe sixty eight, like hi, either
- 8:08Speaker 4: late sixties or like he was seventy. Dude, he hit
- 8:12Speaker 4: the ball a mile, he birdied, birdied, almost had two
- 8:16Speaker 4: hole in one, and I was like, dude, who are
- 8:18Speaker 4: you And He's like, I've just been playing my whole life.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I played in college, played for LSU. We were really
- 8:23Speaker 4: good in college, never played pro or anything. And I'm like, dude,
- 8:26Speaker 4: you are so much fun to play with it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Was he really good?
- 8:28Speaker 6: Though?
- 8:29Speaker 1: It was really good. He was awesome. Was he cool
- 8:31Speaker 1: with you not being as good as him?
- 8:32Speaker 2: Well, he actually told me, He's like, you're a good golfer.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And I enjoyed playing time.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Tell me.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Bones you think I'm good? Yeah, look at if. This
- 8:42Speaker 1: is my picture of my friend Bobby.
- 8:45Speaker 4: And it's funny because I made him play the blues
- 8:47Speaker 4: because you know, like older people they played like the
- 8:49Speaker 4: Reds all over there. And he's like, I'm gonna play
- 8:50Speaker 4: the Blues with you guys, because like it'll be fun.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And he dominated. So that was cool.
- 8:55Speaker 4: But then on the other side, there was this guy.
- 8:57Speaker 4: He showed up kind of late to the tea box.
- 9:00Speaker 4: He just kind of looked like a mess I'm coming, guys,
- 9:03Speaker 4: coming coming, And he shows up.
- 9:06Speaker 1: He drives his lunchbox.
- 9:09Speaker 4: It's kind of like Lunchbox, wasn't lunchbox kind of it
- 9:11Speaker 4: wasn't lunchbox, kind of like lunchbox. And you know, his
- 9:14Speaker 4: first two drives, they go to the right, he loses
- 9:16Speaker 4: the ball. He's like, that's sorry, I'll drop one of
- 9:18Speaker 4: you guys. So he drops, pulls out his nine iron,
- 9:21Speaker 4: swings the crap out of it, breaks the nine iron,
- 9:24Speaker 4: the head flies off, almost passes the green. I'm like,
- 9:27Speaker 4: oh my gosh, this is gonna be long. He might
- 9:29Speaker 4: have been the worst golfer I've ever played with. He
- 9:31Speaker 4: lost like thirty balls, and he was like every show,
- 9:35Speaker 4: He's like, man, my nine iron was my best club
- 9:37Speaker 4: in the.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Back, so he can't get it anymore, right, So narrow, No,
- 9:43Speaker 1: it was.
- 9:43Speaker 4: It was just a weird round where like I played
- 9:45Speaker 4: with the best golfer I ever played with with the
- 9:47Speaker 4: worst golfer I ever played with. What was the cart situation?
- 9:50Speaker 4: We all had three different carts, which is awesome. Like,
- 9:53Speaker 4: I don't know how he got away with that, because
- 9:54Speaker 4: most of the time they're like, no, just play two.
- 9:56Speaker 4: One of you guys sit with each other.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Did you guys exchange numbers?
- 9:59Speaker 2: Nah?
- 10:00Speaker 4: No, Man, I've had some really good relations like good
- 10:03Speaker 4: rounds with people where we leave shake hands at the
- 10:05Speaker 4: atem and be like, dude, it was really fun hanging
- 10:07Speaker 4: out with you and talking to you. But no numbers
- 10:09Speaker 4: are ever exchanged. It's always like, maybe i'll see you
- 10:12Speaker 4: out here sometime. Do you think both of you want
- 10:14Speaker 4: to exchange numbers? Yet you don't want to be the
- 10:17Speaker 4: one that says, hey, can I get your number? Like
- 10:21Speaker 4: that guy, the older guy, he was really good. Yeah,
- 10:23Speaker 4: if he said, hey, can I get your numbers?
- 10:25Speaker 1: We can play again? What would you have said?
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:28Speaker 1: Sure, if he asks, sure.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Would you thought it was weird a little bit? You
- 10:31Speaker 4: would have yeah, because I played with one time. One
- 10:34Speaker 4: time I played with this guy and somewhere in the
- 10:36Speaker 4: middle of the round he was like, I'm an accountant,
- 10:39Speaker 4: I'm like a financial advisor, and then I felt like
- 10:42Speaker 4: he was just trying to get business. So at the
- 10:43Speaker 4: end of the round he was like, let me give
- 10:45Speaker 4: you my number, and I said, okay, cool, I'll take
- 10:48Speaker 4: your number. And then he said text me, and that
- 10:50Speaker 4: way I can have your number.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I never texted.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Did you like playing with them?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Not really?
- 10:55Speaker 1: And so you wouldn't have anyway, right, It wasn't like
- 10:57Speaker 1: you guess hit it off, and then it was let's
- 11:00Speaker 1: exchange numbers because we had such a good time based
- 11:02Speaker 1: on only golf.
- 11:02Speaker 4: No, man, it's just turned into a sales pitch up.
- 11:04Speaker 4: It's almost like he went to the golf course try
- 11:06Speaker 4: to get paired with.
- 11:07Speaker 2: People just so you can do a sales pitch. Yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 2: that's it was very uncomfortable.
- 11:11Speaker 1: That sucks. I've exchanged numbers of people on the golf
- 11:12Speaker 1: course before, and have you not in a long time
- 11:14Speaker 1: maintained relationships, Well, not maintained, but I've played with them again,
- 11:18Speaker 1: like so deep. I haven't in a long time. But
- 11:20Speaker 1: when we lived in Austin and I don't anybody who
- 11:22Speaker 1: played golf, and I just started playing golf. I was
- 11:25Speaker 1: a member of a club like a hybrid club called
- 11:27Speaker 1: Great Rock or I remember we played all the time.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Would leave EDDI would leave his job because he wasn't
- 11:31Speaker 1: working with me. Then he was working for news.
- 11:33Speaker 4: I was a news cameraman and so like a lot
- 11:35Speaker 4: of times I was just on call if nothing was happening,
- 11:37Speaker 4: I'd be like, dude, it's a slow day, and I'd
- 11:39Speaker 4: take the news truck on the golf course and the
- 11:42Speaker 4: head club, the pro guy. What it always like, dude,
- 11:44Speaker 4: I always thought there was news going on here, and
- 11:46Speaker 4: I'm like.
- 11:46Speaker 1: What's so I would just go play by myself there,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and sometimes they would stick somebody with me and then
- 11:53Speaker 1: I would be like, hey, we have a good time,
- 11:54Speaker 1: Like we get your number because I play a lot
- 11:56Speaker 1: by myself, So that that happened a couple of times.
- 11:58Speaker 1: It never felt weird. I never play with people now,
- 12:01Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, unless it's like some elevated event,
- 12:05Speaker 1: then it happens, or like a charity thing. But I
- 12:07Speaker 1: don't get my number then usually what's weird? I don't
- 12:09Speaker 1: think it feel weird to me. Like if I had
- 12:11Speaker 1: a good time with somebody it was like, hey, you
- 12:12Speaker 1: want to change, I don't think i'd feel weird about that.
- 12:14Speaker 4: It's pretty rare to have a bad time, like whenever
- 12:17Speaker 4: I go walk to the golf course and just get
- 12:19Speaker 4: randomly paired up. It's pretty rare if I get teamed
- 12:21Speaker 4: up with someone that I don't like.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But is it also rare to get teamed to by
- 12:25Speaker 1: somebody you really like? No, most of the time it's
- 12:28Speaker 1: always people I like, and you don't ever change numbers.
- 12:31Speaker 4: The only dude recently too, was a weird one. I
- 12:34Speaker 4: got paired with three college kids and they were like,
- 12:37Speaker 4: it was just a different vibe because they're just like.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Bro, good shot and they're drinking the whole time. And
- 12:42Speaker 2: I'd rather play with.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Older people that like kind of take the game a
- 12:45Speaker 4: little more serious than like just three college dudes that
- 12:48Speaker 4: were just having a good time.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So you gave them your snapchat though, right they have
- 12:52Speaker 1: my location.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Now.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm surprised to you, mister Friendly, because you are people
- 12:57Speaker 1: like you immediately, because you're very warm, you love some.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Small talk and well, thank you do.
- 13:01Speaker 1: I love it, And I'm surprised you don't change the
- 13:03Speaker 1: numbers of people so you can go and be like, hey,
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'm going out today.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Man, the phones, the phone's hard for me.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Like even just like dads I meet at the games
- 13:11Speaker 4: or whatever, they're like, hey, let's get together sometimes and
- 13:13Speaker 4: we exchange numbers.
- 13:14Speaker 2: And they call.
- 13:15Speaker 4: They'll text me once sometimes call, and like if they
- 13:18Speaker 4: don't initiate the conversation, I don't really ever reach out
- 13:21Speaker 4: to them and text. It's just something I don't know.
- 13:23Speaker 4: I'm not good on the phone. You see me on
- 13:25Speaker 4: text on group chats.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You don't forget it, you don't get involved. Yeah, just
- 13:29Speaker 1: stay away. You're too good for the room.
- 13:32Speaker 2: You are.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yes, I just got an email from my manager and
- 13:38Speaker 1: he's like, Hey, what do you want to play in
- 13:40Speaker 1: this Pred's celebrity golf tournament the Nashville Predators Cool, which
- 13:46Speaker 1: is the team. I hate charity golf events, not because
- 13:49Speaker 1: of the charity, but because the people they get teable
- 13:51Speaker 1: to me. They're always disappointed. Yeah. I'm never the most
- 13:55Speaker 1: famous person, nor should I be, But I'm never the
- 13:58Speaker 1: most famous person if it it's a celebrity charity event,
- 14:01Speaker 1: I'm usually scraping near the bottom of the overall fame.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And so what I don't like is the reaction to
- 14:11Speaker 1: people when they get me.
- 14:12Speaker 2: What do they do?
- 14:13Speaker 1: And they like, they're not They're very nice about it.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Some people have never heard of.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Me, so they say, who are you?
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm sorry that's happened. I have a video of it, Yes, exactly,
- 14:23Speaker 1: like it's happened before where I'm out playing one of
- 14:25Speaker 1: these events and they come from like somewhere in like California,
- 14:30Speaker 1: or like, you gotta excuse us, we're not familiar with
- 14:34Speaker 1: your work, can you tell us? And I don't I'm
- 14:36Speaker 1: not insulted by that. But what sucks for me is
- 14:38Speaker 1: when they paid to get a celebrity and the person
- 14:42Speaker 1: they have is basically their meal man, Like they don't
- 14:44Speaker 1: get it's the same to them, So that sucks, Like
- 14:47Speaker 1: I don't like that feeling because those aren't cheap for
- 14:49Speaker 1: them right now. The good thing about these tournaments is
- 14:52Speaker 1: you switch at nine holes. So what I hope is
- 14:54Speaker 1: they give somebody awesome after they get me, because I'll
- 14:57Speaker 1: play the the one I play every year or I've
- 15:02Speaker 1: played a few years in a row. Is is no
- 15:04Speaker 1: Chris Tomlins. Oh yeah, he has really famous people. It
- 15:08Speaker 1: is I'm talking about. When I was playing, it was
- 15:11Speaker 1: Ben Roethlisberger, Nick Saban, massive stars me. And if you're
- 15:18Speaker 1: looking at the list at Drew Brees, Luke Bryan, if
- 15:22Speaker 1: you're looking at the list and you're going, man, a
- 15:25Speaker 1: lot of great celebrities here, I wonder who I'm going
- 15:27Speaker 1: to get. I'm not somebody who's in the top ten.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So it's uncomfortable for me to have fun when I
- 15:35Speaker 1: know the people that I'm playing with are disappointed.
- 15:37Speaker 7: But you know what was cool from the outside looking in,
- 15:40Speaker 7: These people would start looking him up and they'd be.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Like oh oh oh, and so.
- 15:46Speaker 7: They kept asking him questions there go to where they
- 15:49Speaker 7: were like I didn't know that, blah blah blah. And
- 15:51Speaker 7: and so they're like asking him advice about like podcasts,
- 15:55Speaker 7: and like they're trying.
- 15:55Speaker 1: To get their money's worth now, trying to get any
- 15:58Speaker 1: value out of it at all. They're like, you know,
- 16:00Speaker 1: we started a podcast, what would you recommend? And so
- 16:03Speaker 1: now I'm like, you know what I'll produce? Your podcast.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Is so bad?
- 16:08Speaker 2: Worth it?
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah?
- 16:10Speaker 3: Have you ever been paired up with somebody like total
- 16:12Speaker 3: opposite of that is like a super fan? Yes, okay,
- 16:16Speaker 3: how's that experience?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Great?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Okay, because that's the experience that I want the person
- 16:21Speaker 1: to have because they're paying money to be with someone
- 16:23Speaker 1: that they think is cool. Mostly in golf, that does
- 16:27Speaker 1: not happen because mostly people playing in charity golf events,
- 16:30Speaker 1: they're usually men forty eight plus all the way up
- 16:35Speaker 1: to like seven, And that's not my target demo or
- 16:38Speaker 1: even a demo that stumbles in like fifty three year
- 16:40Speaker 1: old men for the most part, and so especially a
- 16:42Speaker 1: group of them. If I got three of them, tough,
- 16:45Speaker 1: yeah tough, I feel bad. And so I would like
- 16:48Speaker 1: to go play this and I haven't responded. Would you
- 16:50Speaker 1: want to participate in one of the celebrity golfers?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Uh?
- 16:53Speaker 1: The Golf Classic at Greystone Golf Club in Dixon, Tennessee.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I've never played there.
- 16:58Speaker 2: It's nice, it's a wide open that's my kind of.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Pred's players, PREDS alums, Local celebrities will be paired with
- 17:06Speaker 1: each foursome. There are several competitions within the tournament September eighth.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I just.
- 17:13Speaker 1: You might get teamed up with Mike Well you it's not.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I don't do my I don't because I worry about
- 17:18Speaker 1: it the whole time. I'm like, I'm going to disappoint somebody.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Will you look and see the celebrities were last year
- 17:23Speaker 1: at the Brent Peterson Golf Classic. See if you can
- 17:28Speaker 1: find a list. And I'm curious as to it's like, hey,
- 17:33Speaker 1: you come out Roman Yosi, you play with him Sred's Yeah, Like.
- 17:38Speaker 3: It's got to be a I mean, it's all Nashville
- 17:39Speaker 3: based people, right, So what it's said, Yeah, local celebrities.
- 17:42Speaker 1: No, Pred's players, Pred's.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Alum and local celebrit.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And local celebrity.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I don't but that could be a lot of people
- 17:50Speaker 3: probably know everybody there with the artists or whatever.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Like local celebts.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Sounds like, yeah, you're a meteorologists, but like it's not
- 17:56Speaker 4: what that means in Nashville.
- 17:58Speaker 1: You know what. That's a fair point.
- 18:00Speaker 3: If it was in Des Moines, Iowa, maybe it'd be
- 18:01Speaker 3: your meteorologies.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah, great point, shout out Iowa. Great point there. I'm
- 18:06Speaker 1: curious to know who their list is because for the
- 18:08Speaker 1: charity itself, would love to do it, for the golf,
- 18:10Speaker 1: love to do it. For the disappointment I put on
- 18:11Speaker 1: people's faces. It sucks, man, it sucks. It really does suck.
- 18:15Speaker 1: And I well, like when Tomlin asked me, and I've
- 18:18Speaker 1: played it multiple times, I'm not gonna say no to him.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I like Chris a lot, and he's like, I need
- 18:22Speaker 1: some celebrities. So we have enough celebrities for all the
- 18:25Speaker 1: teams that are playing. And they put out two massive
- 18:27Speaker 1: groups and I'm like, I'm in I played in one.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I think I said this. I played in one group
- 18:32Speaker 1: where I wasn't even the most famous pson and I
- 18:33Speaker 1: was the celebrity. Who's in the Michael Chandler, Yeah, I
- 18:39Speaker 1: get in there and it's like he's part of the
- 18:41Speaker 1: group that joined to play the tournament. I'm like, dude,
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm not as famous as you, and you paid for
- 18:45Speaker 1: a celebrity tough, although I would say we're both niched
- 18:52Speaker 1: in our celebrity world, like people that know who I
- 18:54Speaker 1: am do not know who Michael Chandler is. Yeah, fighter,
- 18:58Speaker 1: but yeah, no, I was just so, yeah, if you
- 19:00Speaker 1: find him, Michae, let me know. Yeah, Hey, Brandon, are
- 19:02Speaker 1: you tagging me in baseball card stuff?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh? You're tagging me in baseball card stuff? Me?
- 19:07Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, no way, how are you acting like that?
- 19:12Speaker 1: What sagging you in baseball stuff? And he brought it
- 19:14Speaker 1: to know, Well, you brought it to my attention, and
- 19:16Speaker 1: so you want to do it?
- 19:18Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Sure, No.
- 19:19Speaker 4: I just I opened Instagram up and I got a
- 19:21Speaker 4: tag on something. I'm like, oh, what's the post? And
- 19:23Speaker 4: it's a giveaway a pack from nineteen eighty five tops
- 19:28Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 19:28Speaker 2: You can win. Tag a friend and you tag Oh yeah,
- 19:32Speaker 2: it was a joke.
- 19:33Speaker 1: It was like a long time ago. It was a joke. Yeah,
- 19:35Speaker 1: it was.
- 19:36Speaker 7: It was right after we opened those packs that I
- 19:38Speaker 7: found God. Sorry, I was like, he's using I'm not
- 19:41Speaker 7: that kind of guy.
- 19:42Speaker 1: It was a joke.
- 19:42Speaker 7: I thought you would see it like that day, but
- 19:44Speaker 7: not like six months later.
- 19:49Speaker 1: This isn't a normal thing you're doing.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You're well, now, I really wanted to Did you get
- 19:53Speaker 2: the pack? Did you win?
- 19:54Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, one? No, I'm just kidding. Have you ever won
- 19:56Speaker 1: a question for the room? If you guys ever won anything?
- 19:59Speaker 1: Not competing because I've competed in one stuff obviously, I
- 20:02Speaker 1: think we all have competed in one stuff, But like,
- 20:04Speaker 1: if you ever randomly won anything, because it's not like
- 20:08Speaker 1: a raffle feeling, I haven't. I remember once in eighth
- 20:12Speaker 1: grade we had a trip to the library and the
- 20:14Speaker 1: book fair was in town and we all put our
- 20:17Speaker 1: bookmarks in and my book mark was pulled and so
- 20:18Speaker 1: I got a free book.
- 20:20Speaker 2: That's awesome, dude.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean that comes to mind because maybe also
- 20:24Speaker 1: I don't play a lot of random Can you win
- 20:27Speaker 1: based on you putting a ticket in things? But I
- 20:31Speaker 1: don't have anything like that.
- 20:32Speaker 3: The only thing that comes to mind for me is
- 20:33Speaker 3: the dorm dudes last year. Yeah, well, the one thing
- 20:36Speaker 3: I entered, but we were so involved with that. But
- 20:38Speaker 3: the one thing I entered, I wanted Jersey, but I
- 20:40Speaker 3: also paid for it.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Cool, but you paid to get in I get paid, Ye,
- 20:42Speaker 1: so I guess I want it. See you bet in
- 20:48Speaker 1: one that?
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah? So I could well.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah. I remember once when I was twelve, I called
- 20:56Speaker 1: one five point nine k Z and won two tickets
- 20:59Speaker 1: to Behind Them All Cinema and a thirty dollars gift
- 21:02Speaker 1: card to El Chico.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Hey, that's cool.
- 21:04Speaker 1: We're like, you're a crazy winner. I'm basically a price pig.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, El Chico metsa restaurant.
- 21:11Speaker 2: Did you have to go to the radio station too?
- 21:12Speaker 1: That was a cool stander, I know. I was like,
- 21:15Speaker 1: oh my god, this is where Flanbryan works.
- 21:20Speaker 2: But even when you go, you can't get too far.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Now. I know you're like looking at because I was
- 21:24Speaker 1: the big window, like it said one or five point
- 21:27Speaker 1: nine k and it had blinds on it, but the
- 21:31Speaker 1: blinds were turned down, and I knew the DJ was
- 21:33Speaker 1: back behind the blinds, so cool. And I knew Flan
- 21:35Speaker 1: Bryan was in there because I was listening to him
- 21:37Speaker 1: on the way up there. So I had to get
- 21:38Speaker 1: dropped off to get the tickets, of course, but I
- 21:40Speaker 1: won that by being like caller ten back in the day.
- 21:43Speaker 3: One time we went to a Patriots preseason game and
- 21:45Speaker 3: they were like, this whole section will win a coke
- 21:46Speaker 3: if they score a touchdown on this drive. And I
- 21:48Speaker 3: was in that section.
- 21:50Speaker 1: You got a coke.
- 21:51Speaker 3: So they're driving awesome, I swear they're driving and we're like, yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 3: the whole crowd is just getting excited because you want
- 21:56Speaker 3: a free coke. Because he went something get down to
- 21:58Speaker 3: the ten yard line was a pick.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Oh no, I got excited for you because it would
- 22:04Speaker 1: be cool to win. That is different than like a
- 22:06Speaker 1: free throw where you went chicken tenders at at a
- 22:08Speaker 1: fast food player. You have to go get it. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: like for two nine to nine chicken tenders, I'm not
- 22:13Speaker 1: going to drive across town for a coke. In the
- 22:16Speaker 1: stadium where you are now, they bring it to you.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Pretty refreshing.
- 22:21Speaker 1: I think it was.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I want to say, uh, Rohan day like the third Yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 3: I think so.
- 22:26Speaker 1: He played l SHU, right, I think so it was.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I mean, this is twenty years ago.
- 22:29Speaker 1: He was a coke.
- 22:30Speaker 2: That's true.
- 22:31Speaker 3: You're listening.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Let me know. That's funny. Let's see Rohan. I feel
- 22:37Speaker 1: like he played at LSU, but it maybe didn't. Oh,
- 22:39Speaker 1: he did play at LSU. Good forty seven years old,
- 22:42Speaker 1: Good member Roan Davis, a former professional quarterback and national
- 22:44Speaker 1: champion who played for L s U and the Patriots. Yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 1: there you go. It was Matt Castle. Yeah, you get
- 22:51Speaker 1: your coke. We get that one back. I'd make him
- 22:54Speaker 1: buy You.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Remember when we played that golf tournament we won trip
- 22:59Speaker 4: to Puerto Rico.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Hold on, we didn't.
- 23:05Speaker 2: We did, we didn't. We didn't catch him in because
- 23:07Speaker 2: we cheated.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Hold On, no, I know a long time ago. I
- 23:12Speaker 1: don't remember this. To go ahead, we played, well, let's
- 23:15Speaker 1: take a break, we'll come back after the break. Okay,
- 23:24Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We played golf tournament.
- 23:26Speaker 4: You me, our buddy, Steve, and someone else Scotty maybe
- 23:30Speaker 4: Mike Scotty, maybe Scotty.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and we kind of cheated.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I don't remember cheating.
- 23:36Speaker 4: We were like, dude, we played so bad, and we
- 23:38Speaker 4: were like we can't like turn in this bath. And
- 23:40Speaker 4: it wasn't like we're gonna go cheat and win all
- 23:42Speaker 4: these prizes. We're like, we scored so bad, we got.
- 23:45Speaker 1: God, I remember this, I've blocked it out of my memory.
- 23:46Speaker 2: We're like we got to make up a score. We
- 23:48Speaker 2: were just just to not make us look bad. That's it.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Oh, you're you're dude, I have blocked this because of
- 23:56Speaker 1: the trauma whenever they announced we won and we weren't
- 23:58Speaker 1: trying to win. We weren't trying to We didn't want
- 24:01Speaker 1: to be embarrassed on the board.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Honest to god, we were not trying to win. And
- 24:04Speaker 4: we had we had bought all of these little like
- 24:05Speaker 4: cheat things like you can buy like yarn yarn for
- 24:10Speaker 4: like twenty bucks and that gets you closer to the
- 24:12Speaker 4: pin and you can use We used everything.
- 24:15Speaker 2: You will score terribly, yes.
- 24:17Speaker 4: So then Bobby's like, all right, let's just make up
- 24:19Speaker 4: this score sounds good, it's not too crazy.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Middle of the ground. You know, we were going to
- 24:23Speaker 1: be up on the board. Our name is gonna be
- 24:24Speaker 1: up there. I was starting to have a little bit
- 24:26Speaker 1: of success, so I didn't want to be embarrassed. We're
- 24:28Speaker 1: not going to win, but we're not gonna be last.
- 24:29Speaker 1: No one's gonna take a picture of it and posted on Twitter.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Correct, So we turned the card in and we go
- 24:34Speaker 4: get burgers. They had burgers and drinks while everyone else finished,
- 24:37Speaker 4: and they started putting all the scores on the.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Board, and dude, we were up by like ten.
- 24:43Speaker 1: We dominated, and the more cards were coming in.
- 24:47Speaker 8: We were like, oh for sure, more like no, dude,
- 24:49Speaker 8: we were dominating, and so I think somebody beat us eventually,
- 24:56Speaker 8: but we got second place, and second was like a
- 24:58Speaker 8: trip to Puerto Rico, and we're like, we can't take them.
- 25:02Speaker 1: We didn't take the trip. We weren't cheating to win.
- 25:05Speaker 1: We were just cheating to save face. So we weren't.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I do have a picture of us holding the trophy though,
- 25:11Speaker 1: the second place trophy.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a terrible picture.
- 25:14Speaker 1: But we did not take the prize because we have
- 25:16Speaker 1: try we left.
- 25:17Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, we took like they gave us a certificate,
- 25:19Speaker 4: but we never used it, Like, yeah, we didn't.
- 25:21Speaker 1: We didn't use the prize. They didn't give us like
- 25:24Speaker 1: an airplane there. Okay, let's go. I have a picture
- 25:29Speaker 1: of us in the trophy. Okay, so the trophy we did.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Keep that out of your memory.
- 25:34Speaker 1: It's so funny. But I remember going, oh, God, we
- 25:38Speaker 1: didn't cheat to win this thing. Don't hope we didn't win,
- 25:40Speaker 1: don't know. And nobody, they just nobody was going above
- 25:42Speaker 1: us on the board and finally they put one up
- 25:44Speaker 1: and I thought, maybe they're just saving all the good
- 25:45Speaker 1: teams till the end. Yeah, no, nope, we finished second.
- 25:49Speaker 4: And do and we were just trying to pick a
- 25:51Speaker 4: score that just wasn't bad. That's it, not a really
- 25:54Speaker 4: good one. But do we dominated that tournament?
- 25:57Speaker 1: I wonder if Steve remembers that. I wonder what his
- 26:00Speaker 1: recollection is.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Of that was that in Texas, Texas?
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yeah, and my buddy Scotty came to town to play the
- 26:07Speaker 1: tournament with us. I'm gonna see if Hell even answer
- 26:09Speaker 1: his phone?
- 26:10Speaker 2: What are you calling? Scotty?
- 26:14Speaker 1: I never call anybody ever, so he may be like,
- 26:17Speaker 1: why am I calling me? Hey, we're recording the show
- 26:21Speaker 1: right now, so you're about to be on. But Eddie
- 26:23Speaker 1: and I are talking about a golf tournament that we played.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Me you, Eddie, And what what do you? I forgot
- 26:32Speaker 1: all about this? What do you remember about that tournament?
- 26:36Speaker 1: We bought a lot of Yeah, we did because that
- 26:41Speaker 1: was legal because you bought it, the money went to
- 26:43Speaker 1: the charity. Go ahead. Yeah, so that you bought a
- 26:45Speaker 1: lot of y and we had a lot of yarn.
- 26:47Speaker 2: And I remember that we ended up finishing taking place,
- 26:50Speaker 2: and I.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Thought, like the greatest day for Now what else do
- 26:56Speaker 1: you remember?
- 26:57Speaker 2: I have?
- 26:58Speaker 1: I have a picture of that. Yeah, text it to
- 27:01Speaker 1: me of six, and Eddie was telling the story because
- 27:10Speaker 1: we played terribly, and Eddie was like, we cheated, but
- 27:13Speaker 1: we didn't cheat to win it. We actually cheated just
- 27:15Speaker 1: to not be last on the board. But we The
- 27:17Speaker 1: surprise was nobody was beating us, and finally at the end,
- 27:19Speaker 1: one team beat us. We're like, oh my god, we
- 27:21Speaker 1: can't believe we just won the second place.
- 27:25Speaker 2: It wasn't shocked.
- 27:26Speaker 7: And that's that they like had a super low score,
- 27:29Speaker 7: which they may be cheated as well.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So yeah, text me that picture if you don't mind.
- 27:37Speaker 1: I haven't. He framed the picture. We cheated the tournament.
- 27:45Speaker 1: We didn't cheat.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Man cheated.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna find.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Okay, see in his mind, we didn't cheat.
- 27:57Speaker 1: He blocked it. In my mind, I don't remember it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I don't remember the tournament. Oh the yarn. My other
- 28:07Speaker 1: this wasn't played. But it's actually funny. But the other
- 28:10Speaker 1: golf tournament story was there's a charity that I went
- 28:14Speaker 1: to Arkansas and I said, Eddie, come play. We went
- 28:16Speaker 1: to play this charity tournament. You can have it. You
- 28:18Speaker 1: can tell the story.
- 28:19Speaker 2: No, you tell the story.
- 28:20Speaker 1: So I'll just tell the first part the story pisses
- 28:22Speaker 1: me off.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Something in him.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna have him till the second half because his
- 28:31Speaker 1: perspective is is so much more fun and probably more accurate.
- 28:36Speaker 1: So they say, hey, come play the tournament. We go,
- 28:38Speaker 1: and it was a great field, a bunch of athletes,
- 28:42Speaker 1: Johnny Damon, Wade Boggs, George Brett, George Brett at George Brett.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And it's in Arkansas, so that is kind of my wheelhouse.
- 28:52Speaker 1: So even if it's like fifty year old men and
- 28:54Speaker 1: generally who cares in Arkansas, that's like my people. So
- 28:56Speaker 1: there were people that really thought it was cool that
- 28:58Speaker 1: I was playing. That made me feel good. And so
- 29:00Speaker 1: we're playing and it's coming towards the end of the
- 29:04Speaker 1: tournament as a hot day. Really nice course. I think
- 29:05Speaker 1: it was on the Blessings Course in Arkansas. Yeah, that's Tyson,
- 29:09Speaker 1: super nice. Okay take it from here.
- 29:12Speaker 4: So they put Bobby and I in different groups, like
- 29:16Speaker 4: he was in another group, I was another group.
- 29:18Speaker 2: The group I was with was pretty good. I played.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I think I played with like the golf pro like
- 29:23Speaker 4: who ran that course, so he knew the course. We
- 29:26Speaker 4: got I think we got second place. In that one
- 29:29Speaker 4: and so second place of the whole tournament gets free drivers. Wow,
- 29:33Speaker 4: like brand new tailor made drivers the top of the
- 29:36Speaker 4: line at that time.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And I was like, dude, look what we got. And
- 29:39Speaker 2: I showed Bobby do I got.
- 29:41Speaker 6: We got the freaking driver that we did not my
- 29:43Speaker 6: team did not win, Okay, I got the driver and
- 29:45Speaker 6: Bobby goes, yeah, So you probably don't know this, and
- 29:48Speaker 6: I don't expect you to know this, but tradition around
- 29:51Speaker 6: here is in the tournament is that you know how
- 29:53Speaker 6: it's for the first tea and then the kids.
- 29:55Speaker 4: The kids are here and whoever wins the drivers usually
- 29:58Speaker 4: donates the drivers to the kids.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, well, I didn't. I didn't
- 30:02Speaker 2: know that, but that makes sense. So I picked a kid.
- 30:05Speaker 4: He was over there talking to his dad and I
- 30:07Speaker 4: was like, hey, man, here you go, dude, this driver's
- 30:09Speaker 4: for you. He's like, are you serious. I'm like, absolutely,
- 30:12Speaker 4: enjoy it. And I walked back to Bobby and he's
- 30:15Speaker 4: cracking out, what do you what are you laughing at?
- 30:19Speaker 2: He's like, I'm joking. Nobody gives their driver to the kids.
- 30:28Speaker 1: I just like that, man. That's brutal.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Story.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Find us work that's some up.
- 30:37Speaker 3: No, did you mean for it to go to that far, Bobby,
- 30:39Speaker 3: or were you just kind of throwing it out there and.
- 30:40Speaker 1: See where it went. That was the whole point I
- 30:42Speaker 1: wanted to know, but I wanted him to My goal
- 30:45Speaker 1: was for him to give it away to a kid,
- 30:47Speaker 1: be so annoyed by it, and then not be able
- 30:49Speaker 1: to get it back, and then we could laugh about
- 30:51Speaker 1: it for years to come. And you know what, mission
- 30:53Speaker 1: accomplish success where we are success.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You know what all about that tournament too?
- 31:01Speaker 4: Was Wade Bogs Like when he showed up to the
- 31:03Speaker 4: country club. He brought two like eighteen packs of Miller
- 31:07Speaker 4: Lites to the country club, put him on the bar
- 31:10Speaker 4: and say hey, will you write weight on those? And
- 31:11Speaker 4: they're like, sir, we have free alcohol here. You're like
- 31:15Speaker 4: that those are mine. Nobody touches those.
- 31:17Speaker 1: That's a legend, dude. Hey drank a lot a lot? Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: drink a lot. Last thing about golf, Happy Go More
- 31:24Speaker 1: two cost more to make than centers and weapons combined.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Wow.
- 31:28Speaker 1: A recently released report revealed that Happy Go More Tow
- 31:30Speaker 1: costs one hundred and fifty two million dollars to produce
- 31:32Speaker 1: over a sixty four day period in New Jersey. Centners
- 31:35Speaker 1: cost ninety million. I like cinners and Weapons only cost
- 31:39Speaker 1: thirty eight million. I didn't see weapons, but it was good, right, Mike,
- 31:42Speaker 1: I love weapons. Yeah, So those two combined one twenty
- 31:45Speaker 1: eight Happy Go War two one fifty two.
- 31:48Speaker 2: All the cameos. I mean, does he pay all those people?
- 31:51Speaker 1: I do not think it was because the cameos, because
- 31:53Speaker 1: the cameos would have been pretty close to being free,
- 31:56Speaker 1: like you do that as a volunteer thing, because you're
- 31:58Speaker 1: only doing a day. They're not gonna pay somebody in
- 31:59Speaker 1: a million bucks for It's like we'd like to have
- 32:01Speaker 1: you come out and do a cameo. I think some
- 32:02Speaker 1: of the roles that were a little more than that,
- 32:04Speaker 1: But I don't think that was the actor's cost as
- 32:07Speaker 1: much as it was doing it all in sixty four days.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I mean, but think of the biggest actors. Sandler's probably
- 32:13Speaker 1: gonna cost a lot, but I think he's not an
- 32:15Speaker 1: overall deal. But Hailey Joel Osmant wasn't gonna charge you
- 32:17Speaker 1: that much.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah that's true.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, Adam Sandler, it's twenty million per movie for Netflix,
- 32:22Speaker 4: and that's good work.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Dude. Would you call them to tell them I'll do
- 32:26Speaker 1: it for nineteen. I want to undercut him real quick.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Any list on the celebrities last year in the tournament.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I didn't find a list for last year, but I've
- 32:35Speaker 3: seen some of the other years.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Would you kind of okay? Cool? If you have anybody
- 32:38Speaker 1: I'd like to hear the comparison for that PREDZ tournament.
- 32:40Speaker 1: You have Mike Fisher, Pred's player, celebrity, Scott Hamilton, Yeah,
- 32:45Speaker 1: good ice skater. Some of these other ones I don't
- 32:46Speaker 1: know about. Kermit Davis is Frog, yeah, Frog last name. Yeah.
- 32:53Speaker 3: You have Josh Reip who is from last Comic Standing.
- 32:56Speaker 1: I don't know who that is. He's pretty funny. JP Dumont, Hey,
- 33:01Speaker 1: I guess I might be famous in the tournament, more
- 33:04Speaker 1: famous as we go go ahead. Kelly Lovelace, who's a
- 33:07Speaker 1: singer song songwriter. Yeah, and that's all I'm seeing.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Oh, dude, you're good.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I's gonna be big time.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Bobby Bobby Bones is here.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Wow, the wade Bogs of that without the drinking. I
- 33:22Speaker 1: try to chase celebrity tournaments where they have the least
- 33:23Speaker 1: amount of celebrities, just just for ego boost after all
- 33:27Speaker 1: those uh okay, I'll hit back. The problem is it's
- 33:30Speaker 1: like right after the show, like I got to run
- 33:33Speaker 1: from it.
- 33:34Speaker 2: That's always tough.
- 33:34Speaker 1: It's tough. Yeah, here's a picture of us.
- 33:39Speaker 2: He came in.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Yeah, he does have it in a frame. Look at it.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Did you see it's a frame?
- 33:43Speaker 6: He said to me too, it's a frame of words
- 33:45Speaker 6: on it, a bunch of golf handicap rough bunker.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Man, dude, look at all the hair you have on
- 33:53Speaker 1: your face.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Harry is a little bigger too, Wow, throwback.
- 33:59Speaker 1: I don't think you're bigger those days.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Dude.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll put this up in the social club if
- 34:06Speaker 1: you have a Yeah, that's funny, man.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I can't believe you blocked that from your mind that
- 34:13Speaker 2: a day.
- 34:13Speaker 1: I didn't like how it made me feel because I
- 34:15Speaker 1: didn't care about the cheating to not finish last because
- 34:19Speaker 1: there was no prize. I didn't want to be somebody
- 34:22Speaker 1: taking pictures up been posting it. Y'all look so guilty
- 34:24Speaker 1: in that picture. Guilty. But I did feel guilty whenever
- 34:28Speaker 1: we finished second and got a prize. Yeah, because I
- 34:31Speaker 1: don't want that a trip. I can't believe you didn't
- 34:33Speaker 1: give it to a kid. There's some nine year old
- 34:36Speaker 1: Puerto Rico by himself, going dad, where are you? Yeah?
- 34:42Speaker 1: That driver's story gets told about once a year. It's
- 34:46Speaker 1: funnier every year.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Due I have a good driver, right, I'd still be here.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It'd be like the Nike to Okay, okay, so this
- 34:56Speaker 1: is what I have. Well, let's do a couple of
- 34:57Speaker 1: things we haven't done a lot of Like that's it's
- 35:00Speaker 1: it's not super sports current right now, meaning a lot
- 35:04Speaker 1: of stories don't matter, but we can do a few
- 35:05Speaker 1: that do matter. Michaeh Parsons. Now people are going he
- 35:09Speaker 1: may not be here, and that's not true. Now I
- 35:11Speaker 1: can play you shot and hire new Cowboys coach. Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 1: Brian talking about it in a press conference. This is
- 35:16Speaker 1: from ESPN.
- 35:17Speaker 7: Go ahead because I think at the end of the day,
- 35:18Speaker 7: we feel like Mike is going to be out there
- 35:19Speaker 7: when we can line up against Philadelphia here in fifteen
- 35:22Speaker 7: days or whatever it is.
- 35:23Speaker 2: And you know, so no answers.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel good about that.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, without a contract extension.
- 35:28Speaker 7: I feel good that Mike is going to be out
- 35:30Speaker 7: there against the Philadelphia Eagles.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Ed of your thoughts as a Cowboys fan.
- 35:35Speaker 4: I just think this is part for the course, it's
- 35:37Speaker 4: how Jerry does business. We do it over and over
- 35:40Speaker 4: every year. We did it with CD, last year, we
- 35:42Speaker 4: did it with Dak, we did it with Zeka Elliott.
- 35:45Speaker 4: He's in Cabo, like, we just do it over that
- 35:47Speaker 4: all the time. So I don't understand. I don't understand
- 35:49Speaker 4: why he does it this way or why they decide
- 35:52Speaker 4: to hold it this long. But I think he's going
- 35:54Speaker 4: to be a cowboy. I'm not worried about it.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I did see Schefter tweet that he can see the
- 35:59Speaker 1: divorce coming. Yeah, I saw that, and Schefter doesn't tweet crap.
- 36:02Speaker 1: He doesn't, so it wasn't imminent, but he's like, for
- 36:05Speaker 1: the first time, I think I can kind of see
- 36:06Speaker 1: the divorce happening. What was suck for the Cowboys is
- 36:10Speaker 1: if they end up trading Michael Parsons, and I don't
- 36:12Speaker 1: think they will, although I'm starting to bleed a little more.
- 36:15Speaker 1: They might just because when people like Schefter jump in
- 36:19Speaker 1: and go like he's heard that it's a possibility, although
- 36:21Speaker 1: it could be somebody. He could be working for somebody
- 36:24Speaker 1: to like, certain sources can tell Schefter things, make him
- 36:28Speaker 1: say things to make the process happen. But what sucks
- 36:31Speaker 1: for the Cowboys is had they traded Michael Parsons before
- 36:33Speaker 1: the draft, they could have drafted a couple of players
- 36:35Speaker 1: and said now they could possibly lose Parsons and have
- 36:38Speaker 1: some great draft picks. But that's just an empty spot then,
- 36:41Speaker 1: like they weren't able to fill fill it next year.
- 36:43Speaker 1: But it's like a dead season. Yeah, so I think
- 36:47Speaker 1: Parsons stays. But it's always as a fan base when
- 36:51Speaker 1: you hear your coach go, I think he'll be there.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Without actually addressing the follow up question, and I don't
- 36:58Speaker 1: think he's gonna play with that a contract. Why would you, Yeah,
- 37:00Speaker 1: you get hurt. And also let's say they do get
- 37:02Speaker 1: a contract a day before, you know what happens, usually
- 37:04Speaker 1: get hurt.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yes, And he's not ready for the game.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Because they haven't gone through camp. Their body's not physically
- 37:10Speaker 1: in football. I don't know that means football mode y gear.
- 37:15Speaker 4: It's it's like Dak too, Like they don't play Dak
- 37:17Speaker 4: during the preseason. I don't understand why he doesn't take
- 37:19Speaker 4: any snaps, Like the game against the Eagles, the very
- 37:22Speaker 4: first game of the season is when Dak's gonna touch
- 37:24Speaker 4: the field, Like, I don't think I'm.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I keep my I know he keeps quarterbacks from playing.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Probably give him some snaps, man like my homes plays,
- 37:34Speaker 4: Josh Allen plays.
- 37:35Speaker 1: What if they compromised Instead of giving him snaps, they
- 37:38Speaker 1: gave him snacks. So it's not quite.
- 37:43Speaker 2: We'll take it.
- 37:43Speaker 1: So it's like that's coming. We don't want to get
- 37:45Speaker 1: you hurt, So no snaps. But I guess I did
- 38:01Speaker 1: tweet that I would pay somebody random ten thousand dollars
- 38:04Speaker 1: if Arkansas made the college football Playoff.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Oh you didn't see it?
- 38:09Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, good, it's it's interesting to talk to
- 38:12Speaker 1: you about it. Then, So what are your thoughts?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Who?
- 38:15Speaker 1: Like, can they work for you? Somebody?
- 38:19Speaker 2: I forget? Who's getting money? What do you think about?
- 38:21Speaker 1: I'll read you the tweet I posted this a day ago.
- 38:24Speaker 1: If Kevin wants the money, I said, if Arkansas makes
- 38:29Speaker 1: the college football playoff, I'll give somebody random ten thousand dollars.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Let this shift the universe to favor the Hogs.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Hmmm, I mean I like it. Jaylen Brown did this
- 38:40Speaker 3: a couple years ago with the Celtics. They ended up
- 38:42Speaker 3: winning the title.
- 38:42Speaker 1: What did he What did he said?
- 38:44Speaker 3: The energy is about to shift but.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Did you offer money? But he did not for money.
- 38:48Speaker 1: He just said something that's not the same giving money.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I'm like, offering ten thousand dollars.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Cash, not ten dollars, dude, ten thousand dollars.
- 38:59Speaker 3: So somebody ran them if they make the playoff.
- 39:02Speaker 1: So that's top twelve teams.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I think that money is as good as
- 39:08Speaker 3: in your pocket.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Well, I'm not gonna take it out of the bank,
- 39:10Speaker 1: so it's not my pocket. That's true. Okay, Well it's
- 39:12Speaker 1: staying in the bank. How safe is it?
- 39:14Speaker 3: It's very very safe.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you're not hurting my feeling. Honest. I feel
- 39:22Speaker 1: like I'm pretty honest about the situation as well. And
- 39:24Speaker 1: it is not that although I was watching Bobby Petrino
- 39:26Speaker 1: talk yesterday and listen, Bobby Petrino is the last great
- 39:28Speaker 1: coach we've had, because why'd you do that, Bobby? Why
- 39:33Speaker 1: did you throw up for us? Like he was winning
- 39:35Speaker 1: ten games? He's won eleven games? You know what got him?
- 39:39Speaker 5: Right?
- 39:40Speaker 1: Ladies?
- 39:40Speaker 2: The ladies always.
- 39:42Speaker 1: But now it's the offensive coordinatord Arkansas, and I rarely
- 39:45Speaker 1: see him confident about anything. He's pretty confident about the offense.
- 39:48Speaker 1: He's like we're not quite there yet, but we're close.
- 39:51Speaker 1: He's never said that, he's never really and like our
- 39:54Speaker 1: quarterback is Taylor Greeny, I'll do one minute of selfish talk.
- 39:58Speaker 1: And last year he played, he plays Okay to pretty
- 40:00Speaker 1: good one Tennessee game, won some games, and he was
- 40:03Speaker 1: hurt all last year. He's not hurt right now because
- 40:06Speaker 1: you know why a lot of snacks key I do
- 40:13Speaker 1: this where my expectation is. I don't think we're in
- 40:16Speaker 1: a good place in general as an organization. I think
- 40:21Speaker 1: Sam Pittman has brought some stability to the program, but
- 40:24Speaker 1: I think we're kind of maxed out at what we
- 40:26Speaker 1: can do. And people always blame it on schedule. Everybody's
- 40:27Speaker 1: got a hard schedule and they're like, well, preseason, we
- 40:30Speaker 1: played what's preseason? Though it's never actually the reality of
- 40:32Speaker 1: how good the teams are and everybody in the SEC
- 40:34Speaker 1: is playing six seven ranked teams.
- 40:36Speaker 2: But you guys have a tough schedule.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but not any tougher than like an Oklahoma. We
- 40:41Speaker 1: don't really know how tough it is. It's like the
- 40:42Speaker 1: NFL that's when they go, we're waiting the schedule. It's
- 40:45Speaker 1: even less. It's even more so in the NFL because
- 40:47Speaker 1: the players shift so much. With the NFL, least a
- 40:49Speaker 1: lot of the prosy they the teams are more the same.
- 40:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the teams.
- 40:56Speaker 1: So anyway, ten thousand bucks.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Yeah, I mean, I hope, I hope
- 41:01Speaker 3: somebody random gets it for your sake and for their sake,
- 41:04Speaker 3: But I think it's pretty dang safe.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I would it's worth it to me. Do you think
- 41:08Speaker 1: that shifts universe at all?
- 41:11Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 41:12Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I have a question for you.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Would you say the same thing if they were projected high?
- 41:17Speaker 1: No? Why would I because I'll get to enjoy that anyway.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I'm trying to shift something. I'm trying to shake something
- 41:24Speaker 1: up here.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I get it.
- 41:27Speaker 3: I feel like the cowboys in Arkansas both do better
- 41:30Speaker 3: when the expectations.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Are low.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Because we never meet expectations.
- 41:35Speaker 3: Maybe that's what it is, but they like always outperforming.
- 41:38Speaker 3: And cowboys, you guys always think you're at the top
- 41:40Speaker 3: of the world, but we.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Don't always outperform our expectations. We just aren't expected to
- 41:45Speaker 1: do much. Ever, so when we do well, it's like,
- 41:47Speaker 1: look at them, they perform their expectations. Well, was it
- 41:49Speaker 1: three years ago? You guys had a really good year.
- 41:51Speaker 3: We won nine games once, right, and then like the
- 41:53Speaker 3: next year like, oh they're back, they're gonna and then
- 41:55Speaker 3: you guys wont like six games or something.
- 41:57Speaker 1: That's exactly what happened.
- 41:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so and then this year it's like nobody is.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Talking about Arkansas. Then if you count the bowl game,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I don't count the bowl games. There's not real games.
- 42:04Speaker 1: And you're also playing like minded teams. You're not playing
- 42:06Speaker 1: the random scheduled ly generated team. They're like, look at
- 42:09Speaker 1: Arkansas Bowl games. We've won five out of seven or
- 42:11Speaker 1: whatever the number is. And I'm dude, we played in
- 42:12Speaker 1: Memphis everyere against six and sixteen, Like we should win.
- 42:15Speaker 1: We should be seven out of seven. We shouldn't even
- 42:17Speaker 1: be in those games. It's my number one love as
- 42:20Speaker 1: far as that's not my wife or my dogs. And
- 42:22Speaker 1: you know what, I might sacrifice the dogs for championship.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I think Stanley.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Yeah, he's had a good life. He's worth it. It's
- 42:32Speaker 1: frustrating to not like have something you feel super optimistic about.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I love it the same. It's got to be like
- 42:39Speaker 1: a bad kid. What do you mean.
- 42:45Speaker 2: You still love them?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Well, you're dealing with older kids here.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but what do you mean when your.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Kid's bad, you love them the same, but you're just
- 42:51Speaker 1: like kind of disappointed and you're like, this is what's up?
- 42:54Speaker 2: Yeah? I see that.
- 42:56Speaker 4: I see that, but like, don't doesn't every start of
- 42:59Speaker 4: the season feel good?
- 43:00Speaker 5: Oh?
- 43:00Speaker 1: I feel great. I feel like we can do it. Yes. Well,
- 43:03Speaker 1: our first two games we play like Arkansas stated game too.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I think we play like North Alabama or something. Game one.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Weird lose one of those, Oh no, we can't.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Then we play Ole Miss week three at Old Miss.
- 43:13Speaker 1: May go down for that if you guys want to go.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Week four, I think we're playing at Memphis if we
- 43:18Speaker 1: lose that Memphis game, which we can because Memphis is
- 43:20Speaker 1: always pretty good and they're not. I can't believe we're
- 43:23Speaker 1: going to Memphis though, which is crazy. Yeah, that's wild.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I know if we start four and oh, Notre Dame
- 43:28Speaker 1: comes to Arkansas, I mean even if we start owing four,
- 43:30Speaker 1: no name comes to Arkansas either way, They're not going
- 43:32Speaker 1: to change either way. This still coming and Ole Miss
- 43:34Speaker 1: is gonna be really good if we can somehow beat
- 43:37Speaker 1: Ole Miss and Notre Dame comes to feign Oh, Arkansas
- 43:40Speaker 1: and Fattville. Yeah that everybody have an umbrella when you
- 43:44Speaker 1: sitting here, because you can figure it out. It's gonna
- 43:48Speaker 1: be Gallagher, you can figure it out.
- 43:50Speaker 3: It can be raining money.
- 43:52Speaker 7: No, no, hey, I think you should take you should
- 43:56Speaker 7: double down.
- 43:57Speaker 1: I think you should. It's not your money, it's not
- 44:01Speaker 1: your joint all join. I got five on it. Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 7: Northwest Arkansas Gazette take out an ad saying this is
- 44:10Speaker 7: what you're gonna do, so the players and the coaches
- 44:13Speaker 7: can see, Oh wow, this guy's serious about this.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Hold you know what I'm saying. You think that's interesting.
- 44:19Speaker 4: You think that when they wake up in the morning,
- 44:22Speaker 4: they get the Gazette one hundred and they're like, wow,
- 44:26Speaker 4: Bobby spending ten thousand dollars if we make the playoff,
- 44:29Speaker 4: Like yeah, see Bobby, yep, yeah, And then they take
- 44:34Speaker 4: it to the locker room and coaches like, up on
- 44:37Speaker 4: the board.
- 44:37Speaker 7: It's up on there like a champion today, played for
- 44:39Speaker 7: Bobby today.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Slap it out.
- 44:42Speaker 7: Patrino's gonna be like, I don't know if y'all read
- 44:44Speaker 7: the newspaper today.
- 44:45Speaker 1: And they're like, yeah, we did do it for the boners.
- 44:49Speaker 1: I'm taking the I'm taking the ad out. Can you
- 44:51Speaker 1: see how much that would be like like a half
- 44:53Speaker 1: page or what does that? That would be fun?
- 44:56Speaker 2: They're really going to do it?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Why not?
- 45:00Speaker 2: How long does the ad run?
- 45:02Speaker 1: Like it's a newspaper? He dies in a day, doesn't it? Oh?
- 45:05Speaker 2: Does it? Okay, so it's only a He's not colled ten.
- 45:07Speaker 7: Thousand dollars, he's already down twenty grand.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Yeah, but it would be worth it. Okay, that's fine.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Huh yeah, Okay, round the room real quick. Favorite team?
- 45:18Speaker 1: What's going on? Kevin, Patriot's what's happening on?
- 45:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:20Speaker 3: Patriots look good man. And they said the other day
- 45:22Speaker 3: that they're going to go all in. What I'm really
- 45:24Speaker 3: hoping for, Micah? Or what about like Scary Tear or
- 45:28Speaker 3: Scary Terry or Trey Hendrickson. I'll take them all or
- 45:31Speaker 3: any one or all they have the most cap space.
- 45:34Speaker 3: And Elliot Wolf said he's won trade a first or
- 45:37Speaker 3: second round pick, So come on, Micah.
- 45:38Speaker 1: You know what Montree would feel good about being a
- 45:40Speaker 1: Patriots fan right now is even if they're not either
- 45:43Speaker 1: if they don't win ten games this year or eleven
- 45:46Speaker 1: games or twelve games at ten, I could see ten.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Ten would be really good.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I could say I could see ten though. Yeah, but
- 45:53Speaker 1: let's say they don't win thirteen games, you feel good
- 45:55Speaker 1: because that's a new culture that's being built by somebody.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Trust because he's done it with far less like Vrabel did,
- 46:04Speaker 1: has had far less here and took him to the
- 46:07Speaker 1: ANFC Championship again. Yeah, so I would feel really good
- 46:10Speaker 1: if I were here. Yeah, that's really cool because even
- 46:12Speaker 1: this year, you're probably not gonna win the super Bowl,
- 46:14Speaker 1: but it's got to feel good that this is a
- 46:15Speaker 1: building year. That's what I'm missing from my team right
- 46:18Speaker 1: now is because we're just kind of like hanging out,
- 46:20Speaker 1: going well, this year probably ain't gonna be great, and
- 46:23Speaker 1: who even knows what that means forever.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:26Speaker 1: Yeah, we got a lot of hope, which is good.
- 46:27Speaker 1: We right now don't have a lot of hope. And
- 46:29Speaker 1: I'm mister hope. There's not a bigger fan in the
- 46:31Speaker 1: world than me. I love it with all my heart
- 46:34Speaker 1: and soul. And you know what, I take a double circumcision.
- 46:37Speaker 1: I've had one with baby. If someone said you get
- 46:39Speaker 1: a national championship the third of the head, I'm in.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'll make the call and your pink No, No, that's
- 46:45Speaker 1: no call, Randon, that's no call. I've got him on Craigslist.
- 46:49Speaker 1: You're good. Like, I'm getting to the point to where
- 46:51Speaker 1: I'm starting to think I'm never going to get to
- 46:52Speaker 1: see a football national championship.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Well, did you have a lot of life left? You're not.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I've had a lot of life so far, and it's
- 46:58Speaker 1: never happened. I know, not only it did not happen
- 47:00Speaker 1: in my life. It's been since nineteen sixty four.
- 47:04Speaker 5: Wow.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Was that Jerry's team?
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yes? Wow, of course, yeah, anyway, whatever, like a Cowboys time.
- 47:13Speaker 4: I'll just tell you that after watching the Jerry Jones
- 47:16Speaker 4: Dallas Cowboys, I mean, I think I'm three episodes into
- 47:19Speaker 4: the out of eight of the Netflix documentary. I just
- 47:23Speaker 4: don't know it will ever be that again. It was
- 47:26Speaker 4: so it was so different. The culture of the Dallas
- 47:30Speaker 4: Cowboys in the nineties was like Jimmy Johnson was hardcore dude,
- 47:34Speaker 4: Like they lost a game that they should have won
- 47:36Speaker 4: and he didn't feed him on the plane.
- 47:37Speaker 2: Like that doesn't happen anymore.
- 47:40Speaker 1: You can't do that anymore.
- 47:41Speaker 7: And Jerry Jones won't let it happen again. He will
- 47:44Speaker 7: never let a Jimmy Johnson back in there.
- 47:46Speaker 1: But also that wouldn't happen anyway now. Right. It's like
- 47:48Speaker 1: when we played high school football, the coach was like,
- 47:50Speaker 1: you don't get water, you don't deserve it. Now, that
- 47:52Speaker 1: wouldn't happen, right. There's been education on I don't know,
- 47:54Speaker 1: food and water where you need it. And they make
- 47:57Speaker 1: a lot more money now and so there is more
- 48:01Speaker 1: of an entitlement. I'm rich and young. Yeah, where they
- 48:04Speaker 1: didn't make as much money than generally speaking, they made
- 48:06Speaker 1: a lot of money, but only the superstars, and even
- 48:08Speaker 1: the superstars didn't make as much money.
- 48:10Speaker 4: And they were tight, like Emmett, Michael Troy, they were
- 48:13Speaker 4: tight like Dion. Everyone was just like close close, and
- 48:17Speaker 4: they played for each other. I don't see that in
- 48:19Speaker 4: the Cowboys these days.
- 48:20Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 48:21Speaker 4: I thought that that documentary was gonna pump me up
- 48:23Speaker 4: for the season. It kind of brought me down a
- 48:24Speaker 4: little bit.
- 48:26Speaker 1: I think you'd like the SEC any given Saturday.
- 48:28Speaker 2: That's my next that's my next watch.
- 48:30Speaker 1: It's gonna be tough to watch that though during this season.
- 48:32Speaker 1: It's kind of you need to watch before the season starts.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Oh so I only have like a week a day.
- 48:38Speaker 3: How many episodes are there? I haven't watched that either.
- 48:41Speaker 1: Six five or six or seven. Maybe five.
- 48:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna takes five. That's doable.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah, somebody can probably look that up real quick. But
- 48:48Speaker 1: is good. And I didn't want it to be good,
- 48:51Speaker 1: huh because I didn't want to like other teams or anybody. Yeah, yeah,
- 48:55Speaker 1: I want to hate everybody. In seven episodes, it's seven,
- 48:58Speaker 1: but some of them though, are shorter, like there's a
- 49:00Speaker 1: thirty five minute episode forty seven. You guys, we do
- 49:03Speaker 1: and they came and will want one game. They do
- 49:05Speaker 1: one game with most teams.
- 49:07Speaker 3: When you beat Tennessee, yeah, yeah, nice, it was it.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Was the right game to be there because that's like
- 49:11Speaker 1: the one big win we had last year. But yeah,
- 49:14Speaker 1: you you come away from that. I almost don't want
- 49:17Speaker 1: to tell you who not to like.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I'm telling me, well, there are coaches.
- 49:20Speaker 1: You're like, I don't like them.
- 49:21Speaker 2: You're gonna watch it this week.
- 49:23Speaker 3: We'll try too, Yeah, well weekend.
- 49:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and they're a coaches too. You're like, I play
- 49:26Speaker 1: for them, that's yeah. But then you'd be like, well,
- 49:29Speaker 1: I'm not good, so they wouldn't let me play for them.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I would never play.
- 49:33Speaker 1: People are asking about your Superman.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Bet Yeah, what's going on with that? When do you
- 49:38Speaker 2: want to do it?
- 49:39Speaker 1: I'm ready, Like, well we can, we don't have to
- 49:40Speaker 1: doing the same time.
- 49:42Speaker 2: I think that's the street versus the cooking.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you gotta go.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I'ms assuming you want the cooking first, because that's what
- 49:46Speaker 2: you know.
- 49:46Speaker 1: I want the street first. You have to go stand
- 49:49Speaker 1: for two hours on the street in a Superman costume with
- 49:52Speaker 1: a sign, a big sign that says Bobby Bones is
- 49:53Speaker 1: a better golfer than me. So I guess I want
- 49:55Speaker 1: the presentation of what street when you can do it?
- 49:59Speaker 1: I don't need be there. I'm not gonna be there.
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'll just watch it on social media.
- 50:02Speaker 2: What street? Yeah, you want like the interstate.
- 50:04Speaker 1: It's got to be somewhere with a lot of traffic,
- 50:06Speaker 1: and it's got to be at a time where there's
- 50:07Speaker 1: a lot of traffic.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Like five o'clock traffic. The intate you get do like
- 50:12Speaker 2: four to six? Is that is that legal?
- 50:15Speaker 5: Like?
- 50:15Speaker 4: Is the cops gonna give me a hard time distracting
- 50:18Speaker 4: drivers with my Superman gonna be distracted by dude?
- 50:21Speaker 2: It's tight.
- 50:22Speaker 3: It's coming up with the excuses now.
- 50:23Speaker 1: No, no, no, Like, why does that man have a
- 50:25Speaker 1: vagina opposite of that. Yeah, okay, yeah, let me know
- 50:32Speaker 1: next week. It's up to you when you do that part,
- 50:34Speaker 1: whenever I do it.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Yeah, you're providing the costume though, right, No, wow, my god,
- 50:40Speaker 4: I'm gonna go find a costume now, you can.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Get on it. I got you, bro, all, I got
- 50:46Speaker 1: a guy.
- 50:47Speaker 4: I gotta let me look on Amazon real quick, and
- 50:51Speaker 4: then that's gonna be my costume forever.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Like, well, at least you have something for Halloween. Adult
- 50:55Speaker 1: Superman costume. I just want to see how expensive it is.
- 50:59Speaker 2: I mean, it's got to be good. I wanted to
- 51:01Speaker 2: kind of look like the Man of Steel.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Like I can. I can buy it for you because
- 51:04Speaker 1: it is eighty five bucks.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Yeah that's expensive, dude.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Okay, I'm going to get you the Men's m make
- 51:14Speaker 1: sure I'm going to get you the DC Comics Superman
- 51:17Speaker 1: A doun't costume prime eighty five bucks will deliver tomorrow.
- 51:22Speaker 1: Do you want extra small, size, small, medium, large, or
- 51:32Speaker 1: extra arts.
- 51:33Speaker 4: I'm assuming that'd be a medium, but like I go
- 51:36Speaker 4: large and be safe. Well, you don't want to lose Superman, like.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Then they'll be like the got vagina exactly.
- 51:42Speaker 2: You don't want that. Go medium.
- 51:45Speaker 4: Well, what does it say the sizes buy them like
- 51:47Speaker 4: if you wear a size thirty two?
- 51:49Speaker 7: Paints say based on your previous buys, based on your vagina.
- 51:56Speaker 1: They want me to take a picture of it. Okay, okay,
- 51:59Speaker 1: here's what it says.
- 52:01Speaker 2: Let's see stupid one stroke.
- 52:03Speaker 1: Adult men medium medium, forty to forty two. I don't
- 52:08Speaker 1: know what that is.
- 52:09Speaker 2: That's the waist big, yeah, chize right, check the one.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's gotta be chess.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Large would be forty to forty four.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Got a measure here, dude, you're gonna look great.
- 52:20Speaker 2: That's my chest, that's my barrel chest.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Yeah. I think you're gonna get a medium. Okay, I
- 52:25Speaker 1: don't know what do you think guys, Team Eddie medium large?
- 52:28Speaker 4: Yeah, medium's medium okay, because like I said, you do
- 52:32Speaker 4: want a little tighter by now.
- 52:36Speaker 1: So tight you think so large? Man, this guy, look
- 52:44Speaker 1: at this guy goes.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Small about it.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Okay, there you go. Look at this guy. He looks
- 52:49Speaker 1: like he's wearing a diaper.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Hang on. The boots are like, he's like too big
- 52:54Speaker 2: two stars.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Oh that was too big. Yeah that'd be part of that. Yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 1: there you go. Okay, that's it. We'll see you guys
- 53:01Speaker 1: next week. Have a great well you have Friday, then
- 53:03Speaker 1: the weekend we're out of here.
