- 0:18Speaker 1: Judge Gino tells us.
- 0:20Speaker 2: And if you accidentally give somebody the wrong lottery ticket
- 0:24Speaker 2: and the right one wins, are you should you get
- 0:26Speaker 2: your money?
- 0:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey tells us, Real people O Cases Justice All
- 0:33Speaker 1: rise everybody. Oh, Hong Kong, below the belt, you said, Oh.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Man, man, welcome to the gabble. This is gonna hit

- 0:55Speaker 1: So we know I know right now, Yes that's true.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It could. The market could flood, you could fly right now.
- 1:01Speaker 1: We are bitcoin.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Where yeah, where the bitcoin of TV court shows? Bilo
- 1:07Speaker 2: so High, Hold to the Moon to the Moon, Dan,
- 1:11Speaker 2: You and I both watched the TV courtroom show that
- 1:13Speaker 2: the other person did not get to watch, And we're
- 1:15Speaker 2: gonna tell tell the other.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Person all about it and hopefully you can guess the verdict.
- 1:20Speaker 1: You can lie along at home if you want to
- 1:22Speaker 1: let us let us know what you think what I
- 1:26Speaker 1: don't know? I started to say, let us know, and
- 1:27Speaker 1: then I realized, by the time we get the show
- 1:30Speaker 1: is done with that, Yeah, that you can get a
- 1:33Speaker 1: live phone line. Let us tell your verdict. I went
- 1:37Speaker 1: over to Steve Harvey season two I got rid of
- 1:41Speaker 1: got picked up. So that's yeah, it's on Hulu. I
- 1:44Speaker 1: love it plus plus all one thing. Now, apparently Max
- 1:49Speaker 1: is going to be thrown in there too, now big
- 1:52Speaker 1: you know how, eventually it's just gonna be cable television.
- 1:55Speaker 1: We're gonna work our way back to direct TV. We're
- 1:57Speaker 1: gonna just have it all in one. One thing. I'll
- 2:01Speaker 1: go for sure.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Jamie Lieber and Barry Romberg they're married, but I guess
- 2:07Speaker 2: they kept Jamie and Barry. Jamie and Barry they are
- 2:12Speaker 2: suing for ten thousand dollars or a lost lottery ticket.
- 2:16Speaker 2: They're suing Jamie's brother in law, Frank Frank Cretazzo. Frank
- 2:23Speaker 2: Cretazo technically ex brother in law.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But we just to get into that. Have you talked
- 2:27Speaker 1: to it? It's not important, Jamie says that we get
- 2:29Speaker 1: you know, hey, what's your case? You know how few
- 2:32Speaker 1: class thirty seconds to your case.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Is that him?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yes, yeh, Jamie says, Frank's my brother in law. I'm
- 2:37Speaker 1: suing five thousand dollars for lottery winnings and another five
- 2:40Speaker 1: thousand dollars for not keeping his word.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Frank says, I don't owe them money. I don't owe
- 2:46Speaker 2: them apology. I don't owe them. Wow, that's right.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Loves that. Steve Harvey says, I object, which is great
- 2:56Speaker 1: because he's the judge. He says, you can't use that
- 2:58Speaker 1: language in this court room. He objected. I love that.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Steve Harvey has a problem with the s words. You know,
- 3:04Speaker 1: we don't do that. He objected. The judge objects overrules
- 3:10Speaker 1: by me as well sustained. Jamie explains that every year
- 3:15Speaker 1: the local football team does a lottery fundraiser. Okay, there
- 3:21Speaker 1: are one.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It's basically a raffle, but there are one thousand tickets available.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You pay fifty dollars for a ticket.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Winner gets fifty thousand dollars, eight thousand of which goes
- 3:34Speaker 2: to the football team.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Winner gets forty two thousand. Basically, okay, do that makes sense?
- 3:40Speaker 1: So this is an eight thousand dollars fundraiser for the
- 3:42Speaker 1: foot football team. Got it. So they he's like, she says, uh,
- 3:50Speaker 1: so Jamie's actually lucky. I'm not selling for forty two
- 3:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars, but we're in small claims court. So uh. Basically,
- 3:57Speaker 1: Frank sells the tickets. He's one of the coaches, and
- 4:00Speaker 1: he sells tickets, and they he sends him a text
- 4:05Speaker 1: with a spreadsheet of ticket numbers that he has, Okay,
- 4:09Speaker 1: one through one thousand, he has a hodgepodge of them,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and they say, we would like threeh eight. It's the
- 4:16Speaker 1: ticket eight, and so he would you know, Basically, he
- 4:24Speaker 1: got that info and was like, all right, great, I'll
- 4:26Speaker 1: get you get you your ticket. It takes some time
- 4:30Speaker 1: to actually get the physical ticket. You know, they were
- 4:33Speaker 1: doing that over text and blah blah blah. So a
- 4:35Speaker 1: couple of weeks pass and he texts her, Hey, I'm
- 4:38Speaker 1: gonna come over after my brother's birthday party. I'll bring
- 4:42Speaker 1: you the ticket. Some time passes, it gets to be
- 4:45Speaker 1: closer to midnight. He never shows up. So you know,
- 4:50Speaker 1: they were like, okay, he must have gotten carried away.
- 4:53Speaker 1: But it's still their ticket three eight, it's still theirs locked.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So Frank says, yeah. So a couple of weeks pass
- 4:58Speaker 1: and I'm going to my brother's birthday party. I brought
- 5:01Speaker 1: some tickets with me to sell at the party, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: it's going great. Hand me money, get a ticket, Hammi money,
- 5:08Speaker 1: get a ticket, Handy money, get a ticket. He says,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I sold around fifty to sixty tickets party. So the
- 5:14Speaker 1: next day comes and she calls him and says, hey,
- 5:17Speaker 1: we're out and about we're gonna come. We're gonna pick
- 5:19Speaker 1: up the ticket since you didn't come by last night.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And he says, you won't believe this, but last night
- 5:25Speaker 1: I sold your ticket at the party. Oh my god.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So he had the tickets obviously, one of them was
- 5:32Speaker 1: three oh eight because he was gonna.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Bring fred charge of tickets. That's the three hundred of them.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. So so they're matts about this. They
- 5:43Speaker 1: say you should have set it aside, but they say okay.
- 5:47Speaker 1: They end up buying four tickets that he had left
- 5:49Speaker 1: on his person from the night before. They head out
- 5:54Speaker 1: of town and they get a call from her mom saying, hey,
- 5:59Speaker 1: do you do you still have the three o eight
- 6:01Speaker 1: ticket and she says no, he didn't. He sold the
- 6:05Speaker 1: ticket and mom is like the winner.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah, like betting on mystic Dan. You've not betract Dane
- 6:14Speaker 2: and uh.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Awesome, Jamie. Jamie's husband, Barry is very bad if I've
- 6:22Speaker 1: thought about this. Big mad Bear's a big boy too.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Bear's a big boy with big mats. Frank says, when
- 6:28Speaker 1: it happened, I felt awful. In fact, Jamie shows a
- 6:32Speaker 1: text message where she says, tell me three O eight
- 6:35Speaker 1: didn't actually win. Can't believe this happened. And Frank sends
- 6:40Speaker 1: a text back and just says, I'm so sick over
- 6:42Speaker 1: all of this. So clearly having a tough time. He
- 6:45Speaker 1: admits that he did it and he's wrong. Then uh,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and then he he goes them it says uh, Steve
- 6:53Speaker 1: says who won, and he says a local fireman one,
- 6:57Speaker 1: so good good great for the fireman. So Jamie and
- 7:01Speaker 1: Barry explained that the situation gets worse because it is
- 7:07Speaker 1: customary for whoever wins the ticket to tip the person
- 7:12Speaker 1: who sold them the ticket. So that's why Frank's out
- 7:16Speaker 1: there trying to sell three hundred tickets, not just because
- 7:21Speaker 1: he wants a football team to get eight thousand dollars. Yes,
- 7:26Speaker 1: if somebody Frank Frank will get some money. And she
- 7:31Speaker 1: hears that Frank got a tip of five thousand dollars.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Frank. You know, Frank says, I did
- 7:41Speaker 1: get a tip. It wasn't five thousand. It was a
- 7:44Speaker 1: little less than it was four thousand, four thousand dollars.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Give it to them right this second. I don't. Barry
- 7:51Speaker 1: speaks up at this moment and says that money should
- 7:54Speaker 1: have been in our mailbox the next day. Yes, so
- 7:58Speaker 1: she explains obviously why they're here for the ten thousand dollars. Uh,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you know he got a tip. That money the max.
- 8:06Speaker 1: They can ask for tens of max. But also, you know,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you've your words, your bonds, you sold it. You should
- 8:11Speaker 1: give us some money and so uh and and Frank says, uh,
- 8:17Speaker 1: there was. It was an honest mistake. You know, you
- 8:21Speaker 1: told me a number. No money was transferred to me,
- 8:24Speaker 1: uh until you actually got the tickets. And so technically
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm not in the wrong here.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Steve always does something weird. That's my thing is he
- 8:33Speaker 2: always does something weird, like you know, I'm gonna give
- 8:36Speaker 2: you three thousand plus he's got to be your valet
- 8:39Speaker 2: for two years, Like he's always it's always something that's
- 8:43Speaker 2: not expected.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I think he should. They should get ten thousand dollars,
- 8:47Speaker 1: the max they can get. That's what I think.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I think he's gonna give them five thousand and then
- 8:52Speaker 2: give them I don't know one hundred tickets to next
- 8:56Speaker 2: year's thing. I don't know something like that. You're close,
- 9:00Speaker 2: he explains. Technically, Frank is right. He doesn't owe you anything.
- 9:04Speaker 2: It's not what he did. He's still above the law
- 9:06Speaker 2: here because the money wasn't transferred into hard the law.
- 9:10Speaker 2: But he says, I don't care about the law, which
- 9:12Speaker 2: is wonderful.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Frank.
- 9:14Speaker 2: You got caught up in the moment. You're out there,
- 9:16Speaker 2: you're slinging tickets. Frank, it's family, right, family. And then
- 9:23Speaker 2: Steve says, I don't really understand what this lottery is.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Acting like it's for the football team.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Eight thousand dollars out of fifty thousand dollars is not.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It's not about the football team. So here's what I'm
- 9:35Speaker 2: gonna do.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Frank. You're not gonna give him any money. The court
- 9:40Speaker 1: is gonna give the family five thousand dollars, and the
- 9:43Speaker 1: court's gonna give the football team five thousand dollars because
- 9:46Speaker 1: the football team deserves more than eight thousand dollars. Wow,
- 9:50Speaker 1: and both of them are coming directly from the court.
- 9:52Speaker 1: So Frank gets to keep his money. They get five
- 9:54Speaker 1: thousand dollars goes to kind of like the tip that
- 9:57Speaker 1: maybe they should have gotten five thousand, really two thousands.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but because if it would have had a case,
- 10:07Speaker 2: if they said, hey, three to oh eight and then
- 10:09Speaker 2: I venmoed you the money, like it was like it's
- 10:11Speaker 2: the fact that they didn't.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Send the money. It was just hey, we want it,
- 10:16Speaker 1: I want to You've got it. He wanted, You've got it,
- 10:18Speaker 1: You've got it. That's right, that's right. Let's head on
- 10:20Speaker 1: over to Judge Gino. Shall we ah arsenal Itory Court.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That's right.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Money's big over Money's big over there. Hillary Gray is
- 10:28Speaker 2: suing al g r a Y suing Alison Ortiz for
- 10:35Speaker 2: forty six thousand past medical seventy two hundred and lost wages,
- 10:40Speaker 2: one hundred thousand, pain and suffering for a total of
- 10:43Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty three thousand, two one hundred dollars.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Let's get into the legal sauce, shall we do. Hillary
- 10:50Speaker 2: Gray is a cosmetologist. She says she's been doing this
- 10:53Speaker 2: professionally for over ten years and she met Miss Ortiz
- 10:57Speaker 2: at a mortuary convention.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Now, I I don't get any more details here, but
- 11:05Speaker 1: i'd love them. How are those two things connected?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Well, I think she was looking for work and she
- 11:10Speaker 2: likes making up dead people, Like that's something she likes
- 11:14Speaker 2: to do. Judged, you know, ask her, how do you
- 11:18Speaker 2: get into making up dead bodies? She's like, beauty is
- 11:20Speaker 2: beauty to me. Like you want to give the family
- 11:23Speaker 2: the best that you can give them, and that's important
- 11:25Speaker 2: to them. And Jane is like, it's pretty unique, and
- 11:28Speaker 2: she's like, well, I'm pretty unique.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That's right.
- 11:31Speaker 2: So Miss Ortiz, who's very Southern, very white and Southern, says,
- 11:35Speaker 2: our funeral home is a family run business. I've owned
- 11:37Speaker 2: it for twenty years. My husband owned it before that
- 11:39Speaker 2: when he passed away. His family has owned it for generations.
- 11:42Speaker 1: It's how all southern funeral homeless, right, all of it's crazy.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Yes, I have a full staff for this, But I
- 11:49Speaker 2: was at the mortuary convention. I had my booth set up.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I met Miss Gray. She seemed nice, and I thought,
- 11:54Speaker 2: you know, sometimes we can't control how busy we are.
- 11:57Speaker 2: If it gets really busy, I could call her if
- 11:59Speaker 2: I needed some extra help.
- 12:01Speaker 1: So we had a weekend.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We had three funerals all in one weekend, so I
- 12:05Speaker 2: didn't have enough people to do all the work necessary.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I called him miss Gray. She came to help that weekend.
- 12:09Speaker 1: We can make up two dead bodies personally, but a
- 12:12Speaker 1: third one on there. All right, this is where things
- 12:15Speaker 1: go south, no pun intended.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Hillary says, Uh, So, I'm I got this body, and
- 12:21Speaker 2: I'm I'm working on I noticed some threads on the
- 12:23Speaker 2: jacket of the body, and that bothers me, and so
- 12:26Speaker 2: I pull those threads off. And then I noticed a
- 12:28Speaker 2: jacket a string, a thread that appears to be going
- 12:32Speaker 2: into the pants pocket. But that's not Hillary's job, right,
- 12:35Speaker 2: it isn't okay, but she wants the body to look good.
- 12:40Speaker 2: But again, threads on the jacket, right, So yeah, this
- 12:45Speaker 2: is the whole rub of the case.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Right. So she's like, I can't say I reach.
- 12:50Speaker 2: I pull open the bottom half of the casket and
- 12:53Speaker 2: I reached down to pull that string off. It is
- 12:56Speaker 2: not a string, Calm down, it is a rat. Ah.
- 13:00Speaker 1: She just pulled a full grown rat by its tail.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Okay, yes, as you see her say this, now, I know,
- 13:09Speaker 2: I know, I haven't witnessed a lot of rats, nor
- 13:12Speaker 2: have I seen one of the casket, But I think I.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Would be able to tell the difference between a string
- 13:19Speaker 1: and a rat tail, right, Yeah, I would be.
- 13:24Speaker 2: She claims that this was something that was just down
- 13:26Speaker 2: there and she wanted to get it out of the
- 13:27Speaker 2: way because she didn't want it to look in. So
- 13:30Speaker 2: the rat attacks her, full on attacks her. Yeah, it's
- 13:35Speaker 2: a rat attack, a attack she is. She is getting
- 13:39Speaker 2: bitten by this rat. Shoulder arm had shoulders, so as
- 13:45Speaker 2: the the rat then crawls up her arm, she reaches
- 13:50Speaker 2: to hold on to the top of the casket as
- 13:53Speaker 2: the rat is on her arm and showing her it
- 13:56Speaker 2: is not stable. It's the bottom half of the casket
- 13:59Speaker 2: that she opened, and it slams down, making the rat scatter,
- 14:04Speaker 2: but also breaking her out.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Okay, all right, I thought it was going to be worse.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I thought the whole thing was going to fall on her. Okay, right.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Gino says, I'm just uncomfortable right now, and then he
- 14:13Speaker 1: says this line which made me uncomfortable, which is rats
- 14:16Speaker 1: turned me into a little boy.
- 14:18Speaker 2: That's what he said. And I'm always like, Gina, there's
- 14:20Speaker 2: got to be a better way. He's got to be
- 14:22Speaker 2: a better way. So She's like, yeah, the rat was
- 14:24Speaker 2: all the way up and down my arm, scratching claw
- 14:26Speaker 2: and biting, you know, broke my hand as I slammed it.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Did you say how much she's sing for?
- 14:31Speaker 2: One hundred and fifty three thousand dollars hundred and fifty
- 14:35Speaker 2: three thousand, two hundred dollars, so forty six past medical,
- 14:39Speaker 2: seventy two hundred lost wages, one hundred thousand paint and suffer.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Okay, So miss Ortiz, Gina's like, was there a rat
- 14:48Speaker 1: on the body? Alison Ortez is like, this is weird.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I was out front with families, We had funerals happening,
- 14:55Speaker 2: Like there were one hundred people in our funeral home,
- 14:57Speaker 2: and I heard a scream, and like anytime that happens
- 15:01Speaker 2: in a funeral home, that's not the vibe we're trying
- 15:03Speaker 2: to give off.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I went immediately down.
- 15:06Speaker 2: But as opposed to other establishments where they love the
- 15:10Speaker 2: s but I mean of the places where a scream
- 15:12Speaker 2: is the worst case scenario in a funeral home. It's
- 15:18Speaker 2: gotta be in the back office of a funeral home.
- 15:21Speaker 2: It's got to be top ten unless it's a hanted house. Yeah,
- 15:24Speaker 2: tapped an answers on the board. Uh.
- 15:25Speaker 1: She goes.
- 15:26Speaker 2: She goes down there and she's like, uh, Hillary's going crazy.
- 15:31Speaker 1: She does.
- 15:31Speaker 2: She just keeps screaming about a rat. She's bleeding and
- 15:35Speaker 2: like we have all kinds of things going on. She's like,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I'm covering up her wounds. I'm looking for a rat everywhere.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I don't see a rat. I'm like, Okay, we got
- 15:41Speaker 2: all these funerals. You're done for the day. Go home,
- 15:44Speaker 2: go to the doctor where you need to go, and
- 15:46Speaker 2: we'll take care of this tomorrow. But I'm really sorry.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I don't see a rat anywhere. I gotta keep moving.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I gotta keep going and doing these funerals, right. Uh.
- 15:55Speaker 2: And so that's what happens. Hillary goes to the plasma. Nope,
- 16:00Speaker 2: she goes to a full casket they have brought into
- 16:04Speaker 2: the chambers.
- 16:05Speaker 1: They brought a.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Full a full body casket into Judge Gino's chambers.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Would be a vampire casket.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Could be a crackhead. Yes, she re enacts the whole thing.
- 16:18Speaker 2: There's a dummy body in the caskets. It's like Pandolf
- 16:21Speaker 2: playing this episode.
- 16:23Speaker 1: But is there no later, There's no like cameras back there.
- 16:27Speaker 2: There's no security, we don't have thing. So she shows
- 16:30Speaker 2: she opens up the bottom half of the casket. She
- 16:34Speaker 2: she's like, you're on her. This rat took chunks of
- 16:37Speaker 2: my flesh out. Pretty awesome, right. It's like Gino's like,
- 16:42Speaker 2: miss Ortiz, how is this not your fault? And Alison's like,
- 16:46Speaker 2: you're honor. Can I please the court? That's what she says.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I hope you do, you know, yeah, And he's like
- 16:52Speaker 2: yeah he.
- 16:53Speaker 1: She goes up and she goes our.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Our cosmetologists that work on our bodies get a casket
- 17:00Speaker 2: and it looks like this, and she closes the bottom half.
- 17:02Speaker 2: That's right, and she's like, there is no reason for
- 17:06Speaker 2: a cosmetologist to be anywhere below the neck, no reason.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It is not her job, it's not her place, it's
- 17:14Speaker 2: not her it's just not what she should be doing.
- 17:17Speaker 2: She's supposed to be working on the face of the body.
- 17:20Speaker 2: There's no reason for her to go anywhere below then
- 17:22Speaker 2: at all for any reason. And Gina's like, well that's
- 17:26Speaker 2: a really good point, Hillary, What are you doing going
- 17:28Speaker 2: below the neck of this body? And Hillary's like, you're
- 17:31Speaker 2: on a perfectionist, Like my name goes on my work.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I saw threads on the jacket. The body is supposed
- 17:38Speaker 2: to be look as though the family remembers them. I
- 17:42Speaker 2: didn't want it to reflect poorly on me. Allison's like,
- 17:44Speaker 2: your name's not on it. My name's on it, and
- 17:46Speaker 2: I've told you to just make up the face of
- 17:48Speaker 2: the body exactly right. And Gina's like, even if you're
- 17:51Speaker 2: a perfectionist, they're only going to see the top half right.
- 17:54Speaker 2: And Hillary's like, I wanted to look nice. I want
- 17:57Speaker 2: to go above and beyond. I could see a string
- 17:59Speaker 2: on this jacket. I wanted to fix it. It's what
- 18:02Speaker 2: this family deserves. Allison's like, your this never happens if
- 18:08Speaker 2: she does her job and nothing more, it doesn't happen.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So what are the injuries?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Bye?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Bye bye. You could argue that it would actually be
- 18:15Speaker 1: worse because there if this, if it's an open casket,
- 18:19Speaker 1: if the rat, the rat was in there, it's gonna
- 18:21Speaker 1: jump out. Allison never acknowledges that there's a rat, and
- 18:24Speaker 1: there's one. We're gonna get more to that. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Uh. Hillary broke two fingers on her dominant hand or
- 18:31Speaker 2: left hands of dominants, so she can't do her makeup,
- 18:33Speaker 2: like that's her job to do makeup. She can't do it.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Biiten call marks all over her shoulder and arms. She's
- 18:37Speaker 2: still healing the out of work seventy two hundred. They
- 18:40Speaker 2: bring in an expert. The expert brings a rat into
- 18:43Speaker 2: the chambers with them.
- 18:45Speaker 1: With them. It's at a medical doctor who.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Brings a rat in in a little thing, and it's
- 18:51Speaker 2: a black rat. And this is a common black rat.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Humans having in eight fears of these rats. They like
- 18:56Speaker 2: to chew. They're omnivores and they they'll chew corpses, they'll
- 18:59Speaker 2: chew whatever. The physician did everything right. Her wounds were
- 19:02Speaker 2: cleared out. The two things you have to remember with
- 19:05Speaker 2: rat with this is is that there's no doubt she
- 19:09Speaker 2: will have a long term psychological trauma from being attacked
- 19:13Speaker 2: by a rat. That is something that people have. It's
- 19:16Speaker 2: like common. But the good news is is that rats
- 19:19Speaker 2: carry all kinds of terrible diseases, three of which are salmonella,
- 19:22Speaker 2: bubonic plague, and HIV. She was tested negative for all
- 19:27Speaker 2: of these guy and did dodge a bullet there. Judge
- 19:31Speaker 2: Gino says, have you ever seen rats in your funeral home.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Alison's like, never once. Hillary's like the funeral homes disgusting.
- 19:36Speaker 2: It's next to an alley of garbage, like she is
- 19:39Speaker 2: a picture of this alley behind the funeral home. It's
- 19:41Speaker 2: all these massive garbage dumps where all these businesses and
- 19:45Speaker 2: GINO very quickly is like that cannot be held against
- 19:49Speaker 2: this future. The funeral home cannot control what happens off
- 19:53Speaker 2: of their premises. Just because you have a picture of
- 19:55Speaker 2: dumps outside in an alley does not mean anything to
- 19:59Speaker 2: the funeral home. This evidence would not be admissible. He
- 20:03Speaker 2: specifically says that to her. Allison's like, I've passed every
- 20:08Speaker 2: health inspection, I have paperwork. I've never not passed a
- 20:12Speaker 2: health inspection. We have cleaners come in every evening, and
- 20:15Speaker 2: we have a regular exterminator. So my funeral home is
- 20:19Speaker 2: not disgusting. It just isn't Hillary. After what happened to her,
- 20:24Speaker 2: she goes online, tries to find reviews of the funeral
- 20:28Speaker 2: home and finds someone that she brings to.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Court with her Okay named Ellen Harris. Ellen says, I'm Alan.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Ellen says I had a funeral at this funeral home
- 20:40Speaker 2: for my mom. There was a bug in the casket,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and I saw rat droppings. Now we don't have any pictures.
- 20:49Speaker 2: We just have an eyewitness testimony saying there were rat
- 20:52Speaker 2: droppings and a bug from a different source that is
- 20:55Speaker 2: not the defendant or the plaintiff. Alison's like, no way,
- 20:59Speaker 2: we'd exterminate regularly. I've never seen rat droppings. There's never
- 21:02Speaker 2: been anything like that in the funeral home. I've never
- 21:05Speaker 2: not passed the health inspection. I've exterminated regularly. This is crazy.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Gino is ready to rule. I'm typically wrong, angry more
- 21:16Speaker 2: often than anyone.
- 21:17Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, I think that this is a pretty
- 21:19Speaker 1: clear case. She got into it. Here's the thing. The
- 21:25Speaker 1: question is, is can you just because I would say
- 21:30Speaker 1: she's probably OCD of some sort where she's very very particular.
- 21:36Speaker 1: She sees a string and it's like, I need to
- 21:38Speaker 1: get it. I see another string, I need to get it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: And that's just it's not her job. And so I
- 21:43Speaker 1: don't think that she deserves any money. I think she
- 21:46Speaker 1: got into some business that she shouldn't have been in
- 21:49Speaker 1: the first place. And did she probably if there was
- 21:53Speaker 1: a rat, and I have no reason to think that
- 21:54Speaker 1: she's lying about this. Did she actually help the funeral
- 21:59Speaker 1: home dodge bullet there because it would have jumped out
- 22:01Speaker 1: at a person who's waiting in line to see and
- 22:04Speaker 1: say goodbye to their dead relative. Yeah. Probably, but that
- 22:08Speaker 1: didn't happen. Ultimately, she opened it up of an area
- 22:12Speaker 1: that she didn't need to open up. Just stick to
- 22:14Speaker 1: the face and none of this happened. Is one hundred
- 22:16Speaker 1: percent on her. I'm not giving her any money. You'd
- 22:19Speaker 1: think that, wouldn't you. Bring Come on, No, you can't.
- 22:24Speaker 1: You'd think that.
- 22:25Speaker 2: You'd think that, wouldn't you. Judge Gino gives her all
- 22:28Speaker 2: the money.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I know, so frustrating. Why.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Judge Gino says that the place that this case turned
- 22:39Speaker 2: was in the witness testimony of rat droppings. He chose
- 22:44Speaker 2: to believe that with a witness, rat droppings were present,
- 22:48Speaker 2: and the law requires a business owner to take reasonable
- 22:51Speaker 2: measures to keep others safe and to lessen or eliminate hazards.
- 22:56Speaker 2: The rat droppings required a specific extermination that was never
- 23:00Speaker 2: given by Miss Ortiz.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Hillary gets all the money.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So you tell me that if I just find a witness,
- 23:06Speaker 2: that's exactly right. Did the witnesses have to provide Proof's
- 23:09Speaker 2: already mad? At the funeral to provide proof at all
- 23:13Speaker 2: it is. It was such a miscarriage of justice. Gino's
- 23:16Speaker 2: swinging a miss again. She gets all the money. Ridiculous.
- 23:20Speaker 1: It's unbelievable every time, so often. I'm so confident about
- 23:24Speaker 1: this one too. You can't mess this one up.
- 23:26Speaker 2: When he said so calmly she was getting all the money,
- 23:28Speaker 2: I couldn't believe it. I could not believe it. It's unbelievable.
- 23:32Speaker 2: But but what do you want if if she provides
- 23:34Speaker 2: actual papers proving that she on a regular basis, gets
- 23:39Speaker 2: gets this an exterminator out there, that trumps your witness. Right,
- 23:43Speaker 2: I have proof that I've done it. I've done the
- 23:46Speaker 2: things you're saying.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I need to take reasonable of action against No.
- 23:51Speaker 2: His thing was the extermination is for just pest control.
- 23:55Speaker 2: If you see rat droppings, you have to bring an
- 23:57Speaker 2: exterminator out to get rid of the rats. So if
- 24:00Speaker 2: you do regular extermination, it isn't to kill rats. It's
- 24:03Speaker 2: just a it's a preemptive like like you know, it's
- 24:07Speaker 2: it's designed to keep it from happening. Whereas if you
- 24:10Speaker 2: see rat droppings you have to bring up somebody just
- 24:12Speaker 2: for that. And she didn't do that. It's terrible. You're right,
- 24:15Speaker 2: Gino's wrong. The world's not fair. She shouldn't have gotten done.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Well, if you're angry at that, maybe come back next week.
- 24:23Speaker 1: That's right. If it makes you angry again, we'll find out.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Until then, all Rise.
