- 1:46Hello everybody, and welcome to Honey Badger Radio. My name is Brian Iho
- 1:49with Alison and this is maintaining frame number says like one oh four one o
- 1:55seven. Actually, uh, you know something something something women most affected.
- 2:02So Alison, you can talk now, I unmuteed you. Oh yeah,
- 2:07no, no, I'm good, I'm good. I got we got it,
- 2:08we got it up. We're on Artists Time in this particular channel.
- 2:15Yes, we are going to be talking about how boys are lost and because
- 2:19of that something something women more oppressed, something something. Boys are lost in
- 2:25a desert, so they need to draw their own map to an oasis and
- 2:30everything. That's how it works, isn't it Brian, Yeah, well of
- 2:37course it is. I mean, how else do we deal with the crisis
- 2:39of masculinity if not by blaming men? Hmmm exactly. We haven't done that
- 2:44hard enough, and there's been a nanosecond since we last blamed men. So
- 2:49let's let's do it again, all right. So we we are going to
- 2:52be looking at this fine fellow, I have to navigate to find you.
- 2:58Truthless, that's true. Ruthless. Truthless is that some like strudle, except
- 3:05you don't have one. Strudleless. I don't know he is it pronounced like
- 3:13that's truth? It's truth? Truth? Do we have this truth? Is
- 3:16this truth somewhere in the building? Okay, I'm sorry. I'm sure that
- 3:21there's a very legitimate reason behind this name, and it is a dignified name
- 3:24with a storied history and a deep and profound lore that in cooperate incorporates themes
- 3:31of loss and desire for understanding and a willingness to question oneself and doubting the
- 3:40doubts. You know, I'm sure it all has it, it has it
- 3:44all, but we don't know what it is. So we're just gonna have
- 3:46to go with the title, which is truthless. I don't know the name
- 3:49of this guy. I should know the name of this guy. I'm really
- 3:52sorry, guys, I don't know the name of this guy. He seems
- 3:53really just out of nowhere. Don't you think it's probably another huge channel though,
- 4:00Yeah, yeah, I know, the one of these out of nowhere
- 4:03like influencers that just yeah, yeah, let's let's see what the channel says.
- 4:11Is Truthless Joined September sixth, twenty seventeen, Australia, one hundred and
- 4:15nineteen videos, one million subs. Holy man, what's his magic? Huh
- 4:21wow? Okay, well, I guess we'll find out because we're gonna cover
- 4:25this particular video by him, which is the answer isn't online masculinity, says
- 4:30a man talking about masculinity online. Okay, all right, fair enough,
- 4:36And young men are lost? Now, I wasn't kidding when I said it
- 4:42appears to be just from an initial tickle through his trunk. Oh God,
- 4:46that was awful. I'm sorry that. What he seems to be saying is
- 4:50that young men are lost in a desert. And literally, the way that
- 4:55you get unlost in a desert if you're a young man, is you simply
- 4:59pick up your pen and paper and draw yourself a map to the nearest oasis.
- 5:04Do you see any flaws in that logic, Brian, Like, I
- 5:06mean, it seems pretty sound. Don't you think there's no there's no there's
- 5:09no there's no hole in that bucket. It seems the easiest way to deal
- 5:15with these kinds of problems is to basically do everything you can to not ask
- 5:21anyone except men to take it on. I mean, yeah, it is
- 5:25just the nature of the burden expect Yeah, basically tell men. If you
- 5:28expect anybody else to do any of the work, you are a burden.
- 5:30So if you if you fail to unburden others, then you become a burden.
- 5:34If you tail to take on the burdens of others, you become a
- 5:36burden. And if you have burdens, you are a burden. And uh
- 5:41yeah, such it be Okay, let's uh so before we begin once again.
- 5:46Oh, if you want to send us a message, can do so?
- 5:50Have feedbadger dot com slash just the tip, except do not use the
- 5:55username clyde because I'm sorry, I just saw you how you're like? What?
- 6:13No, Apparently the username clyde it gets caught in the system. Then
- 6:18subsequently your super chow gets eaten. So don't use that username. Perhaps just
- 6:24put an asterisk in the place of the why. I do not know why
- 6:27that's causing an error. By the way, guys, I can't even begin
- 6:30to understand why discord has a problem with the username Clyde, but apparently it
- 6:34does, so don't use that. But anyway, if you want to send
- 6:38a message, you can do so it feed thebadger dot com slash just the
- 6:40tip. You get the full benefit of not sending your comment through the YouTube
- 6:46comment Enhancement system, and as long as you're not named Clyde, you should
- 6:49be fine and we get the full benefit of whatever funds you send. It's
- 7:00the only censored word I've seen so far as Clyde. Well, just to
- 7:05be safe, though, maybe it's a good idea not to use the names
- 7:09inky, Blinky and Pinky either, just so you get all the ghosts out
- 7:15of the way, because they're all risky, and Clyde especially I assume,
- 7:17as well as Sue. Don't do Sue, but anything else is fine.
- 7:21Clyde is definitely on the FBI watch list for some reason. It's a sneaky,
- 7:28sneaky little little ghost, all right. So once again, feed the
- 7:30Badger dot com slash just a tip to send us a tip and also a
- 7:34message. And if you want to support the show, you can do so
- 7:36it feed the Badger dot com slash support except not yet because I haven't set
- 7:40it up, but eventually it will be. It will be up and you
- 7:43can go there. All right, let's just all right, let's get into
- 7:46it. Yeah, did you did you buy any chance look at this opus?
- 7:53And no, I have not seen it at all. I don't know
- 7:56what's going to be in it, So, I mean it is broken up
- 8:00in the chapters. So do you want me to jump to a specific chapter.
- 8:03Let me let me take a look at those chapter headings, because I
- 8:05don't my experience masculinity in others. Uh, yeah, I can't see it
- 8:13at the moment if you're showing its masculinity in crisis in crisis as loves it.
- 8:22Oh. Yes. The biggest predictor of engagement, which he basically discusses
- 8:28how identifying enemies. I've talked about this on this channel before. If you're
- 8:31a channel who identifies the enemy, like you, you point at a specific
- 8:37group of people, you get a lot more engagement, which is I think
- 8:39one of the reasons why we don't. I mean, we do call out
- 8:43feminists, but mostly feminist behavior. We don't really say that feminists are the
- 8:50only one who's who engage in that behavior either. So the fact that we
- 8:54don't identify specific political group is the enemy consistently probably squelched some of our engagement.
- 9:01And he goes over that as well, and then the next chapter is
- 9:05what do you do? Mm hmm, So he gives a sort of an
- 9:09idea and then he gives his own concept of how boys should navigate this crisis,
- 9:16which of course he doesn't really identify what the crisis really is or where
- 9:22it's coming from. And his end result is basically saying it really is.
- 9:28You know, you're in lost in a desert, make yourself, just draw
- 9:31yourself, imagine an oasis and draw yourself a map to it. And there's
- 9:39some there's some parts that are missing there. And I don't even think he
- 9:43realizes there that they are missing, because he is stuck in a framework that
- 9:48he hasn't even begun the question. So let let's start. I mean we
- 9:54could just start me let him intro. I mean, avoid the this this
- 9:58move. This video is sponsored. But let's just start it? Is it?
- 10:09Thumb? Hold on a second. I just want to share the source.
- 10:18Yes, one million subscribers. I was an online person and I became
- 10:22an offline person. Wow. How did you do it? Like a million
- 10:26freaking subscribers? Wow? And you're right. The whole topic about masculinity is
- 10:33absolutely radioactive. If you talk about it from one particular angle, you will
- 10:39be completely avoided by almost every algorithm. And now I don't even think it's
- 10:43because you're necessarily it's conscious censorship. It's because it's actually challenging something, something
- 10:50very fundamental and essential to our social landscape. Like I said, he's within
- 10:54a particular framework and he does not question it. So we're going to identify
- 10:58that framework right here on Honey Badger Radio the way we usually do this is
- 11:01a maintaining frame, right right. I forgot, Yeah it is. I
- 11:05said that one O seven. No, I did it, that's why?
- 11:07Oh yes, oh yeah, that's right. You introede, Yeah, I
- 11:11did. I apologize of like the memory of a goldfish. All right,
- 11:15let's keep going, all right, because you declared them, you declared them,
- 11:52not the future like, because there's an entire academic brand devoted to framing
- 12:01masculinity is bad with no redeeming qualities. And if they want, like anybody
- 12:09who uses the term toxic masculinity, describe positive masculinity that you associate with men
- 12:13and boys the same way you associate toxic traits, go ahead. Nobody has
- 12:18ever been able to, and nobody who uses the term toxic masculinity has ever
- 12:24been able to describe positive masculinity and genuine positive masculinity, as in, these
- 12:30traits are positive and they are more likely to be seen among men and boys
- 12:35than women and girls, period, full stop. Just like you say that
- 12:37these toxic traits are more likely to be seen among men and boys, nobody
- 12:43has ever nobody who uses that phrase has x ever successfully finished the positive masculinity
- 12:52challenge, right, So maybe that's why boys are feeling lost, because their
- 13:00identity is under attack. Yeah, all right, well let's continue. Well
- 13:07I'm sorry, I'm still I'm still fiddling around with my automatic scene switcher thing.
- 13:13I just want to make sure it works, you know, No,
- 13:16that's fine, that's fine, you can. Honestly, I think it's great.
- 13:20Like I do a long rent and you say yep, because what can
- 13:24you say to that likes socide. We have decided to put masculinity in our
- 13:30crosshairs, right, and to give young men know nothing positive about their sexual
- 13:35identity, gender identity. I guess it's gender identity, nothing positive, no
- 13:39positive recognition of being poisoned men. And then you have the audacity to ask
- 13:43yourself, why do they seem lost? Hmm? Such a head scratcher.
- 13:48Huh. Okay, just the second here, I just want to make one
- 13:54more adjustment, and we're going to do that. Okay, Okay, now
- 14:03I'm switching to the source and we're gonna play more of the video masculinity Toxic
- 14:09Women. If you don't like, let want to define traditional masculinity as toxic.
- 14:15We need men full times likely to kill themselves, sexist, rapist piece
- 14:20of shit. You got it. Let's tuckle this topic in two thous pope.
- 14:30Okay, so he's identify it's a mess. Mm hmm, which it
- 14:33is, mm hmmm. He doesn't identify the genesis of the mess. I'm
- 14:41saying that the river is polluted, but he's not going and stepping up the
- 14:46bank of the river to find out who's dumping the sewage in. And we,
- 14:50I mean, anybody who's been listening to us for a while knows exactly
- 14:54who I'm gonna or what I'm going to call out. Men oppress women,
- 14:58defining the relationship between men and women, that is the relationship. The two
- 15:05genotypes, the two genetic categories that human beings come in aside from all of
- 15:09some of the extraney or the extra ones, the two main genetic categories that
- 15:15led us to the point where we exist today are defined by hatred, war,
- 15:22oppression. Okay, right, The two groups of people, the two
- 15:26main groups of people that we that through all of human history had to cooperate
- 15:31in order for us to even be here, are defined in terms of oppression.
- 15:37Okay, that's the source of the corruption. That is the source of
- 15:43it. Right. And of course, because boys are the ones who are
- 15:48defined as the oppressors, they're the ones who are dealing with having their identity
- 15:52tirageted for annihilation, at least any positive aspects of their identity. They can
- 15:58still feel like they share rape with each other, sort of grape with each
- 16:02other, and domestic violence, and all of the negative parts of being human,
- 16:06all the social ills of being human, but all the positive traits.
- 16:10Nope, you can't exclude girls and women and girls from those positive traits by
- 16:15giving them to men and boys. That would be misogyny. Well there you
- 16:18go. Why are boys lost? Why don't they know what it means to
- 16:23be a boy, because we've told them that it is evil and that they
- 16:30are evil for even wanting to have a masculine identity. That's where he's coming
- 16:37from. Okay, but let's see, let's see what he has to say.
- 16:41All right, Oh, let's go back to the sources and play some
- 16:45more, and we'll be understanding crisis and pott tea, we'll be finding a
- 16:48ridnut to a solution. Alright, let's give a shot. If you're the
- 16:52kind of person who feels like they need therapy, you're useless. This da
- 16:56is getting at pretty heavy, so I thought it'd kick things off light with
- 16:59my top five dumb boy moments. Coming in at number five, me and
- 17:03two friends got super drunken scaled a crane. Coming in at number four.
- 17:07I used to be such a joke that when I got my wisdom teeth out,
- 17:10I learned how to pull bongs through my nerves. Number three. When
- 17:12I was a teenager, I wanted to impress my friends while I was driving,
- 17:15so I climbed on top of the car while I was driving. Number
- 17:18two this haircut, and number one when I was twenty, I broke a
- 17:21rib because I put a beer bottle on a sign and I tried to fly
- 17:23kick it off, but my foot got caught on the sign and I just
- 17:27fell. Yeah, what does it mean? Like? What are we getting
- 17:34at here? All right? Let's play some more here? So that all
- 17:55right? So that my experience with masculinity sucked. I never really had traditional
- 18:00masculinity model. To me, I'm not lack other boys. I like to
- 18:03shave, but I like spying on my friends. And then also, so
- 18:07you are the product of a single mother. Yeah, I was gonna say,
- 18:11are you is there's something in your life that might be missing that a
- 18:15lot of like younger guys that have I guess what you consider normal masculinity.
- 18:22Is there something about them that they how to shave? You know? But
- 18:29here's the other thing. He's he's identified these risk taking moments and he says,
- 18:33that's my experience with masculinity. Masculinity sucked, all right, But the
- 18:41general tendency towards risk taking also includes innovation. It also includes the protection and
- 18:48provision of society. It also includes, you know, making actually being able
- 18:55to manage the emotional pressures of high stress jobs. And I'm not even talking
- 19:00about like a traders, like a Wall Street traders. I'm talking about like
- 19:03people who men mostly who manage the utility grits and have to make decisions that
- 19:10are life and death, you know, surgeons. Those are all in fact,
- 19:15if you look at the majority male occupations, most of them are defined
- 19:21by being more willing to take risks being more willing to tolerate pain and danger
- 19:27and discomfort and while also being physically stronger. So you say that your experience
- 19:37of masculinity was bad, and you give an example of a bunch of risk
- 19:41taking, and you don't take that further, because that's not just There's not
- 19:44just negatives to risk taking. There are also significant positives, right, almost
- 19:51anything that you identify as a negative aspect of masculinity, if you are really
- 19:56going to identify it with masculinity, aside from all the social that get lumped
- 20:00in, which are total crap. But if you're going to identify things like
- 20:04risk taking, then you have to accept the positives. So go, and
- 20:12you know, go and go up a tall building, Go up to the
- 20:17top story, you know, look out and look down and say to yourself,
- 20:22men's risk taking built this. Okay, fly an airplane. Men's risk
- 20:27taking made this safe enough for there to be commercial air travel, right,
- 20:33Okay, enjoy spending money. Men dying in war made that possible for you,
- 20:40Like, go, appreciate the parts of risk taking that have helped built
- 20:45everything that you enjoy, in everything that everyone in our society enjoys. And
- 20:51he didn't even think that you see that. Yeah, sure, he went
- 20:55right to you know, look at all of the dumb stuff I did as
- 20:59a man. This is this is the reality for all men. And it's
- 21:02like, well, no, you had the same instincts and the same drive
- 21:07that other men have, but you used it in really stupid ways. And
- 21:11it's yet, it's every man's fault that you did that. And we need
- 21:17this instinct. It's an energy or whatever you want to call it or whatever,
- 21:22but we need it driven in the right direction, in a healthy direction
- 21:26that's not self destructive, it's not harmful. And you didn't have that.
- 21:30So that's not the fault of men or masculinity. That's not the fault of
- 21:36the internet influencers. That's just you. That's just your fault. Yep,
- 21:42Okay, let's watch a little bit more. All right, we're back to
- 21:45the sources here. And also, as a vivor of child sexual abust we're
- 21:52in the ripestness nile. I was a child what the fan. As a
- 21:55result, I struggled a lot with sort of like all the kind of things
- 21:57that you'd imagine you'd struggle that. Yeah, my carden mechanisms. He's to
- 22:02be terrible I was my friend. I know I would not normally say this.
- 22:07I don't think that this is necessarily the case because you went through child's
- 22:11sexual abuse. There's some other stuff you talk about later. I don't think
- 22:14you are in a position to really explain how to deal with this stuff because
- 22:21I don't think you're in a position to really appreciate masculinity in and of itself.
- 22:30And I'm not saying that you can't be. But and also, if
- 22:36you're a single the product of a single mother, you are going to be
- 22:41more vulnerable because you don't have an adult man using his risk taking to protect
- 22:45you. So I mean, this is like, I feel bad about saying
- 22:51this because it's not like I don't want to say that he's negating there was
- 22:55right to talk about this because of his horrific experience, because I've had that
- 22:57done to me too. But then again, I mean, I don't I
- 23:02won't get into that. But I think he has some unresolved stuff. Mm
- 23:07hmm, that's what I no. Definitely definitely some some unresolved Uh. Let
- 23:15me just put it this way. If somebody had been gored by a bull,
- 23:19I don't necessarily think they're gonna they're gonna have a completely accurate view of
- 23:26cattle, you know what I mean, and uh, and what cattle need
- 23:33or whether or not cattle are worthy of living. So let's keep and I
- 23:37you know, I feel bad for him because he had this experience, but
- 23:40let's let's keep going. All right, let's keep going. No me more.
- 23:45I had terrible men on him, like I was almost gonna die.
- 23:51I left impulsivity. I just enjoyed the high of adrenaline often app that's right.
- 23:57So they haven't died. Maged to my life together twelve years. And
- 24:00I'm not saying that that's on the other side of sort of reckless boyhood.
- 24:04I'm just saying that I know what it means. So at no point,
- 24:08at no point, did you actually have a relationship with a man to help
- 24:15you overcome this, at least you're not willing to express that, or that's
- 24:19not the first thing that comes to mind, just pointing it out. Mm
- 24:23hmmm, Because a relationship with a man is going to be really important part
- 24:27of your relationship to your masculine identity, especially for a boy who apparently didn't
- 24:32grow up with a father, you know. And uh, okay, well,
- 24:37let's let's let's hear some more. All right, let's hear some more.
- 24:41Here we go. I know what it means to you struggle with typically
- 24:45male unhealthy coping mechanisms, and I also know what it means to you be
- 24:48on the other side of those struggles. Then let's say, in crisis,
- 24:56has he, like, here's my question, has he really overcome that?
- 25:00Or has he got something in his life that he hinges his identity on in
- 25:08terms of serving like that. There's a big difference there. Yeah, you
- 25:17have you have you overcome it? Or are you masking it through service to
- 25:22something else, your your family? You know? That's that's that and that's
- 25:30that's something I notice about men. I'll use it a much much more cheerful
- 25:36anecdote. There is a a patron in our discord many years ago, and
- 25:44he was sort of berating himself because he hadn't hung a bunch of pictures like
- 25:49he and it had been months, and he was he was like a someone
- 25:53who really liked Jordan Peterson. So he was he was like, Oh,
- 25:57I gotta clean my room, you know, I gotta make and I and
- 26:00I can't make myself do this. I'm like, I'm I have had these
- 26:03pictures for months and months and months and I haven't pung them, and I
- 26:07just I can't believe that I'm so lazy. And I was like, well,
- 26:11why don't you try something I do. Just do a next action,
- 26:17a next immediate action. So instead of berating yourself about not hanging the posters,
- 26:22just identify what's the next thing you need to do it, Like,
- 26:25if do you need to get hooks, then the next thing is go to
- 26:29the store, get hooks. I know, if you need to get a
- 26:33hammer, go to the store, get a hammer. If you need to
- 26:34hammer the you know, put the hooks in the wall. Then your next
- 26:37immediate action is to, you know, measure out where you want the hook
- 26:41and put it into the wall. Just nothing like there's nothing between you and
- 26:45this next action. And so he did. I don't know if he did
- 26:49it. I gave him that advice. A few months later, I asked
- 26:53him, Okay, so, how what's what's happening with the with the with
- 26:56the pictures? And he said, I hung them. And then I realized
- 27:03that I hate them. And this is something that I've noticed about man.
- 27:07I know that's sort of a funny, like it's just The reason why he
- 27:11didn't want to hang them actually was because there was a subconscious revulsion towards them.
- 27:18He didn't want them on his wall, and he had instead of addressing
- 27:22that, instead of addressing the problem, the emotional problem he was having with
- 27:27the pictures, he focused on the thing he had to do and berating himself
- 27:33for not doing it. And that's what I mean. It's like you evade
- 27:37the emotional problem by focusing on the action that needs to be taken, and
- 27:41then sometimes all you do is just get into a negative thought spiral of I'm
- 27:45not taking this action and I'm such a lazy person, you know whatever,
- 27:48right, But it's because you've evaded the real issue, which is you don't
- 27:55like the picture, you know. And this is something like again I've noticed
- 28:00about men. They will evade, not evade, but they'll just and I'm
- 28:04not saying this is a bad thing, because it's a very necessary thing in
- 28:07certain circumstances, but they'll avoid the emotional reaction to something in favor of attaching
- 28:15to emotionally, not emotionally, but cert certain terms of their identity to a
- 28:19particular action that needs to be taken place. And now this, like I
- 28:22said, this is not a negative thing. This is just something I've observed,
- 28:26And if you think about it, it's pretty pretty important that men do
- 28:32this because you can't always spend time marinating in your emotions. Often, especially
- 28:38the things that men get up to. You have to identify the next thing
- 28:42that you need to do, the next action that needs to be taken to
- 28:45deal with the circumstance. But when you're dealing with something involving mental health issues,
- 28:52involving trauma, involving really not liking the picture that you were given as
- 28:56a gift, then focusing on the next action or the action that you need
- 29:03to take can be a way of avoiding it. And this is why I'm
- 29:07asking, is this guy genuinely has he genuinely overcome whatever issue he has,
- 29:14or has he simply found something to do something else to serve you know?
- 29:22Okay, I'm just under saying that, Yeah, fair enough, All right,
- 29:26let's get back to the source and play some more not a to Maybe
- 29:33this is like asking if there's a climate crisis, even if you deny climate
- 29:37change, it's not going to be a bad thing to look after your planet,
- 29:41even if you deny that there is a masculinity crisis. It's not going
- 29:44to be a bad thing to help young men become better. The counter argument
- 29:48would be, Okay, you know what, I'm not going to get sucked
- 29:55into the climate argument, but I will say one thing, climate changed has
- 30:00basically sucked the air out of every other environmental cause. And I say that
- 30:07as somebody who was very concerned about other environmental causes and watched the one that
- 30:14governments can tax become so much more important than every other one. So I
- 30:21just want to say that. But but that's like, inside, I know,
- 30:22that's not all. If you if you think, if you think the
- 30:26climate activism is a money laundering scam wrapped up in a government plot to you
- 30:33know, like essentially delete human beings as the carbon, I don't think there's
- 30:38anything wrong with that because there's plenty of evidence. So without getting into it
- 30:41too much, it's okay to be critical conversation around climate change. So and
- 30:48that's nothing. May be critical about the conversation around men's mental health, Yes,
- 30:55exactly, Christ somewhat, but he's he's acting like, well, this
- 30:59is just like he's basically saying, Allison, this is how absurd this conversation
- 31:06is I'm going to compare it to climate change, because if you have any
- 31:11criticisms of this thing that I have essentially made into a golden calf, that
- 31:15is climate change, and something is wrong with you clearly, and I don't
- 31:19actually have to explain myself at all, and so that the the issue is
- 31:25not what you feel about climate change at all, has nothing to do with
- 31:27that. The issue is how he is framing this conversation so that you can't
- 31:33have an opinion outside of the one that he's going to give you. That's
- 31:37what this really is. So you know, once you understand the tools and
- 31:41how they use it, it's really easy to say load. I wonder if
- 31:44this is the payload. But let's keep going, like to get the sneak
- 31:48this under the wire. But you know the delivery system is I am the
- 31:52final authority because you know, I don't know, it's like it's just the
- 31:59way that it's framed tells you everything I think. But we'll see I haven't
- 32:01seen much of this. It's obviously just started. So here we go.
- 32:07But in the list of Skull Galloway, compassion is not a zero sum game
- 32:12to understand a masculine Yeah, see, it's treated like a zero sum game.
- 32:17And often, I hate to tell you, but you're just at the
- 32:21lip of all of this problem, like you're the very lip. You're just
- 32:24deep. You do not know how deep this goes. But there are incredibly
- 32:31powerful ideological interests that are invested in manufacturing this idea of asymmetrical female victimhood because
- 32:43because it's a money spinner, it makes money. Women as victims, specifically
- 32:49women as victims because they're victims makes money. And the people who are making
- 32:53money like that not only are ignoring male victims, but they're also ignoring science
- 33:00that would reduce the rate of female victimhood. And why are they doing that.
- 33:04They have no invested, written reason to reduce the number of female victims
- 33:08that would reduce their income. So this is the There is some he's he's
- 33:14you are you are a little baby? You are a little baby. Okay,
- 33:21no idea, no idea. Okay, Well let's let's uh yeah,
- 33:23let's keep going. And we have to ask, is what are those words
- 33:28even main? Mmmm? Good lord, I see that sentence. Of course,
- 33:37saying that sentence isn't quite as clear as how I've written it there because
- 33:42the word man will spot the ways the word there that can mean anything,
- 33:45and the word Internet, it's basically a euphemism. We could be talking about
- 33:47any parts of the Internet. So let's get freaking specific, fellows. Let's
- 33:53look at the word man first. Masculinity can be anything depending on who you
- 33:58ask. If you are the biologist, it's you haven't a why primosime.
- 34:13Yeah, it's almost like it's designed so that you can't talk about it.
- 34:16It's almost like that's the reason why it's contreated as a social construct. And
- 34:21now you can't discuss femininity either, because it's essentially oppressive to women. Both
- 34:25of them are. In fact, all roads lead to oppression of women.
- 34:30I just I'm just curious, like, and we're curious where he's going with
- 34:36this, because he made a very strong statement at the beginning about all of
- 34:40the abuse that boys and men are suffering. It's and you know what,
- 34:45I get it because I got some guy on my Twitter saying, oh,
- 34:47you know, well, I'm a big, strong man. I can handle
- 34:52it. I can shoulder this burden of misondery and constant hatred of men.
- 34:57And I'm like, yeah, but they do it to boys too. You
- 35:00want boys to do this like you want boys to live in this world?
- 35:04You want boys to live in what he was showing, like the sheer contempt
- 35:09and disregard that was being displayed for boys. Do you want do you want
- 35:14boys growing up in that? You know, like a little six year old
- 35:17boy doesn't know anything, just a little innocent. All he wants to do
- 35:22is have a goldfish and play soccer, and he has to shoulder the burdens
- 35:25of feminist miss indry and are even even like feminist traditionalist miss indry, you
- 35:32know, like is that what you want for the world? And but I'm
- 35:36curious, like he's he's going into how do you define men in masculinity?
- 35:39Well, I mean obviously those people you first showed, those women felt that
- 35:45masculine men and masculinity was defined as being useless and of course the man versus
- 35:51bear thing defined as being harmful and dangerous and exploitative and rapie. I mean,
- 35:57this is what you're telling your little six year old boy, is he
- 36:00once has his goldfish and wants a puppy, wants to play soccer. You're
- 36:04telling him take responsibility because you are evil, Like you're growing You're gonna grow
- 36:09up to be evil, kid, You're going to grow up to be the
- 36:13most hateful creature on the planet. It's time for you to buck up,
- 36:16man up, or you want to cry about that, well, here's a
- 36:20backhand, like honestly, okay, so let's see what he's gonna say.
- 36:27All right, let's get back to it, bil right. If you wanted
- 36:32to figure out what masculinity was according to traditional Western values, you might stumble
- 36:37upon something called hedgemonic masculinity. He's the one that often gets protakeed in like
- 36:39those big, long, thin paces. The masculinity that makes this guy the
- 36:43bread winner, makes him stoic, competitive, tough, strong, dominant,
- 36:45and also, I'm my sun. Can't be gay, boys don't cry.
- 36:49Of course, if we dill the clock back even further toward dynastic China,
- 36:52pretty much China, we get a different answer. Where in masculinity was largely
- 36:54shared by two concepts when and who? When is your cultural accomplishment? So
- 37:00the art calligraphy, how much you contribute to society? And whoo is your
- 37:02martiall prowesssring? Okay, but that's exactly the same. Okay, I wanted
- 37:08to say dumbass, but that those are two ways of saying the same thing
- 37:15like, I mean, honestly, guy, are you gonna are you gonna
- 37:19say, are you gonna point to two pictures and one says sphere and the
- 37:22other says round and say, oh, these are two different things. No,
- 37:28No, sphere and ball. You know, like you've got that little
- 37:30round thing in the corner there. Oh it's a sphere, No it's a
- 37:34ball. Well those are two very different things. No they're not. That's
- 37:42just manhood in the Chinese cultural context, and that was manhood in the Western
- 37:46you know, business context. They're the same. Well it's it's based in
- 37:53the stoicism, so it's actually like the Western yeah, well know, the
- 38:00Chinese version was like confusion. It was like from yeah, no, I
- 38:04know, but I'm saying when you said that the business like, you know,
- 38:07the Western business, I was saying that I think it's but the Western
- 38:13business context is downstream from a more you know, Greek Stoic slash like you
- 38:22know, Protestant. You know, these are these are all like connected.
- 38:27It's like a thread and it's very similar. Like you said, it's not
- 38:30really different from the Chinese version. They're just using different words and maybe they
- 38:35have a slightly different framework. But it's I mean, like, yeah,
- 38:38it's it's all the same everywhere, Like masculinity is basically the same everywhere,
- 38:45so it doesn't change that much. So anyway, should I play more mm
- 38:51hmm ulinity? According to in cells here you just be a child or no
- 38:55one cares? And should no one cares? Writ a manifesto. Yes,
- 39:00that's the next move that find are an asshole? Okay, okay, right
- 39:04here, you have no compassion at all for many who are struggling. Yeah,
- 39:15like the contempt you have okay in cells of the men who are not
- 39:19being picked essentially who don't have prospects in our society, all right, and
- 39:27you're already expressing contempt towards them. So what do you have to offer?
- 39:31Mm hmm. Well, there's section here on it, right, Yeah,
- 39:36I know I've already watched some of it, but let's keep let's keep going,
- 39:38all right, all right, let's get back to it. What I
- 39:40complained that masculinity is a social construct, toxic, fragile, and in crisis,
- 39:46all of these different ways to save being a man. Now, all
- 39:52those different perspectives, I guess it's you know, usually a time and a
- 39:54place with they are used to wait a second, you're missing one. You're
- 39:58missing one, a bucket for everything wrong with humanity, because that's what the
- 40:02first thing you showed. Seriously, do you mean no, no, yeah,
- 40:09well I guess toxic masculinity. But he's calling it hegemonic masculinity. He's
- 40:15completely omitting the framework of masculinity, like he says, hegemonic masculinity a social
- 40:21construct. Well, what about everything you showed at the beginning. Masculinity is
- 40:27a bucket to hold all everything wrong with humanity. That's what you showed at
- 40:30the beginning. That's what he showed at the beginning, and he's not he's
- 40:35omitting it now as a definition of masculinity. Why is that? Like,
- 40:39what what are you trying to do here? Yeah, all right, let's
- 40:46play some more whole lot of I think debating off the word man is something
- 40:53that people will probably be doing forever, so with the idea that there are
- 40:58just many slightly more tangible part of this definition according to the Internet, which,
- 41:05according to Lady Gaga, is a toilet. The Internet is a toilet.
- 41:09Truly is man? How to be a man? According to the Internet.
- 41:14So earlier I mentioned that this was a year femism when we say the
- 41:16internet, what are we really saying. We're really saying how to be a
- 41:20man, how to be a man, so how to gain value as a
- 41:24man, basically, right, and look, okay, let's let's continue.
- 41:30I know we have the banana occasionally. Sorry, guys, you gotta talk,
- 41:34but let's let's let's just let him, let him say what he has
- 41:37on our smartphone. Here's a nice little article from the nine fifties. None
- 41:45at all. So the reason that I think is because you look at the
- 41:49UNUS statistics and it's like eight hours a day, and then you also look
- 41:52at the socializing statistics and it's going down and say, like, ah,
- 41:54human interaction is getting replaced by media interaction at scale. As None of this
- 42:00is a judgment on anyone. By the way, if you use your final
- 42:01it and you feel bad about that, I don't blame you. I blame
- 42:04to find dude jen Z. You guys got freaking womped. I can only
- 42:07imagine how hot it would be to you have these things in high school.
- 42:09But that will come clear because when we are talking about a smartphone, we're
- 42:12actually talking about the way that we get this sort of more wild information social
- 42:16media pausive for the banana, just to say, I wonder if he's gonna
- 42:22mention that social media is basically dominated and run by women. I don't suspect
- 42:27too well like that. They literally set the tone and they are the ones
- 42:30that make the judgments on what men are worth, and that includes the so
- 42:36called male influencers. Their effectiveness is dictated by women's approval in my opinion,
- 42:43but that's probably not going to come up, is what I suspect. Okay,
- 42:46be advised, world, if you have a penis, you probably deserve
- 42:50murdering. Be well advised, world, If you have a penis, you
- 42:53probably deserve murdering. Okay, what the hell does that mean? All right?
- 43:00Back to this, guys, will if you have a painist, you'd
- 43:06probably deserve murdering. It's a bit extreme, but extreme is the What we're
- 43:13really talking about is an ecosystem of media businesses. Fracking was left of your
- 43:16attention with God to your slot machine, accountics, pushing whatever content is best
- 43:21optimized for limbic hijack and time theft in the name of maximizing shareholder grive.
- 43:24Selling ya one million subscribers, guys, Okay, this guy has one million
- 43:30subscribers one million, we have like maybe ten thousand. Right, who do
- 43:35you think is fracking the Limbic system here? You have nothing to speak on.
- 43:42Whatever you do, the algorithm loves you. Maybe that makes you just
- 43:44a better content creator. I wouldn't argue with that. I'm never intended to
- 43:49was. I never started my life saying, hey, I want to make
- 43:51content in YouTube. I want to be a media or even like a media
- 43:54person or a promoter. I was like, I want to be an artist
- 43:58and a writer, and then the issue of men's issues became really important to
- 44:01me. So that's what I sort of segued into. But I just want
- 44:06to point out that based on this argument, I mean, he's he's got
- 44:13a million million subscribers from one hundred and twenty videos, He's obviously hitting some
- 44:20aspect of fracking the Olympics system. You know, as he considered that,
- 44:27Okay, never mind, let's keep going. All right, Uh yeah,
- 44:30let's let's continue, Let's switch scenes here. Honestly, this is getting boring,
- 44:37I mean, because the other thing is that he's just he shows that
- 44:40level of extremism, and he's shown it at the beginning. But I'm wondering
- 44:44where he's going with it, like I know where he's going with it.
- 44:47But you know, let's let's let's move to the next section. All right,
- 44:52you want me to jump ahead to the next if you want, Melgith,
- 44:55well, no, no, no, I think we can skip some
- 44:58of this because essentially, this is the thing that I've noticed a lot,
- 45:02is that when people like this guy, and this is just one example,
- 45:07there's lots of people, a lot of women making content very similar that are
- 45:10like Lauren Southern was made a video that was sort of like along the same
- 45:15lines where she was saying, Oh, it's all about essentially when it comes
- 45:19to what's going on with men, it seems like instead of landing on well,
- 45:23maybe there's something about like the conversation or the way that we treat men,
- 45:28or the way that we think of men's existence in our lives, you
- 45:30know, either and in the present as well as historically, and how these
- 45:35like ideas that men have always oppressed women throughout history, therefore they're deserving of
- 45:38less sympathy, Like all of these things could be a problem that's sort of
- 45:43like starting to multiply on itself exponentially, and there's gonna be like it's gonna
- 45:47come to a point where men are just gonna walk away and we're not gonna
- 45:51have any of their help, and you know, we don't really deserve it
- 45:54because we have essentially allowed this to happen. They could be doing that,
- 45:59but it seems like when the opportunity to talk about men's issues comes up,
- 46:02they go, it's not about men, it's about capitalism. This is what
- 46:06really frustrates me because that's what he's saying. He's like, oh, this
- 46:08is just people maximizing the shape the shareholders. They're trying to maximize profits,
- 46:14so they're just using men to do it, or they're they're they're in there
- 46:19creating or in emboldening like negative engagement towards men instead of addressing like, well,
- 46:23why is their negative engagement towards men? Why are men being treated this
- 46:28way? Why is this our reality? But no, he can't do that
- 46:31because that would mean he had to, like, you know, question his
- 46:35entire life paradigm, which he's not willing to do. But you know what,
- 46:39I'll blame capitalism, That's what I'll do. I'll blame the greedy corporations
- 46:45for doing that. And that's why he says the algorithm likes it. He's
- 46:47trying to trick people into thinking that this thing that he's that you see is
- 46:52happening. It's not happening. It's not really mis injury. It's capitalism.
- 46:55Guys, help us fight it, because I can accept that, you know
- 47:00the other thing they can't. So anyway, So he says, the algorithm
- 47:06loves it. I don't really care. It loves it for you because you're
- 47:08saying the things algorithm likes. The biggest predictor of engagement. Do you want
- 47:15that one? Yeah, sure, let's go for it. Let's go to
- 47:17that one. Then, the single biggest predictor of whether a post willet high
- 47:22engagement is how much it dunks on an outgroup, not how much it confirms
- 47:27the belief and how much it confirms the war. So, even bigger than
- 47:30the volume of ideas are people negating straw men of those ideas, basically making
- 47:35these soft puppets and then just like bashing them down, caricaturizing an entire ideology
- 47:38into one thing, and then just being like that sucks, and that sucks.
- 47:43Here's what happens next. What do you mean the breakers out of money
- 47:51in su it? You only have enough, Jesh, for the next three
- 47:53customers. Yeah, just I mean, I don't think there's going to be
- 48:02much of a banana with this one, but let's keep going. The problem
- 48:07isn't the gamut of opinions. It's not even the people. No, it's
- 48:09what Marshall McClue and identified in the nineteen sixties. It's the medium is the
- 48:14message. If your medium is one that tells people, but the best way
- 48:17to get your message out to as many people as possible is to be extreme
- 48:20and tribalistic, then yeah, even the most benign sentences start to look like
- 48:24a flame war. And it makes sense that the more time you spend in
- 48:27a medium like that, the more time you will start believing that there are
- 48:30sides or groups. You might actually even be feeling it. Right now,
- 48:32we can do a quick little test. Is there any part of your brain
- 48:36that still kind of has that weird like brainwashing from social media that's trying to
- 48:38sort me into an abstract team? Is he red PILs blue? Is he
- 48:42pro med or pro women? Which one is? Because he left his cart
- 48:45and apologist? Well, I think you are going to reveal yourself as soon
- 48:50as you set up your sides. You're going to reveal what side you're on.
- 48:53Okay, let's keep going. Yeah, there are sides, all right,
- 49:00Well, I mean there's definitely the side that demands take a side.
- 49:04You know. That's the funny thing. It's like, when feminists framed the
- 49:07sex the relationship between the sexes in terms of oppression, they constructed this whole
- 49:13idea of picking a side that you had to add there were sides to pick
- 49:16between men and women, Like before then, do you did you have to
- 49:22pick up a side? No, because there was no side. There was
- 49:25only men and women cooperating for the betterment of their families and their communities and
- 49:30society. So it's like, right there, you can't get away from the
- 49:37fact that feminists demanded that sides be picked. Okay, And I mean when
- 49:43I talk about things, I'm like, the idea that there is ultimately a
- 49:49side between men and women is destructive. That idea that there is men oppressing
- 49:54women is destructive, you know. And but let's let's get let's find out
- 50:00what side he thinks there are. Yeah, are you bored? You're siding
- 50:07names? They are just people. But it doesn't always feel like that.
- 50:12Our brains are hardwired for groups. Yeah, even something as simple as a
- 50:15coin flip or you know, wearing a different college jes you can make us
- 50:17feel tribalistic. So guys to stand that, probably if you are a young
- 50:22teenage boy looking at the internet, getting most of your information from the internet,
- 50:25these sides might feel quite tangible. Really, you think like wait here,
- 50:31wait wait, these sides might feel tangible. Did do you Did we
- 50:37not watch that video? Do you remember the video? The beginning? Yeah?
- 50:44Sure, all of the kid need men and the women are like,
- 50:46no you mean that video? Yeah? That video? Are it? Are?
- 50:51Men are part of our future? No? You know, like,
- 50:53did you watch that? You think that that boys are going on and they're
- 50:58thinking what do you think boys response to watching stuff like that is going to
- 51:07be hm and also listening to their teachers and also having to learn things like
- 51:16that they are oppressors of women. I mean that itself is an extremist concept,
- 51:23and this is the framework that I don't think that this guy has ever
- 51:27stepped out of. We live in an extremist society. We are all a
- 51:35part of the extremism. We all ingest it, we all have it in
- 51:39our side ourselves because to some degree, unless you have taken the steps to
- 51:46actively question it. We are all touched by this narrative, this contemptible narrative
- 51:53of oppression. Okay, and boys grow up in it. This is what
- 52:01they grow up with. They grow up with the condemnation of their gender identity
- 52:08as being the worst thing in the world. Literally, like patriarchy is what
- 52:15it's responsible for all human ill Toxic masculinity is responsible for everything negative about being
- 52:22human? Right, how much worse does it get for boys and their identity?
- 52:30And then they go on the internet and they see things like kill all
- 52:34men, be advised. If you have a penis you deserve murdering and all
- 52:38of the other and oh, there's no there's men are useless, men are
- 52:42there's nothing. Oh, I choose the bear over a man like And then
- 52:46you have the audacity to be like, oh and these boys think they have
- 52:51to choose a side. Well, I wonder why. Okay, maybe he
- 52:54addresses this because I think I'm miss I skipped a bit of this section.
- 52:59But let's see, Well, do you want to hate yourself? Would you
- 53:06prefer to worship Ripus? Which one? Just pick? Pick? God,
- 53:09you're a sixteen year old boy, you gotta make that choice, I guess.
- 53:14So he's talking about Andrew Tate. So he creates the dichotomy and then
- 53:22he makes you choose, and then you choosing is picking sides. Well,
- 53:27I mean he might created the sides. The sides are you either hate yourself
- 53:34or you worship a rapist. That's what he chose when he said, just
- 53:37now, oh, we all picked teams. Here are the two teams that
- 53:40you guys are a part of. So he's a automatically creating a false dichotomy
- 53:46completely. He's basically just creating two extreme sides and saying you gotta choose one.
- 53:52No man, even the ones that are dealing with the modern world as
- 53:54it is, as anti mail as it is, is doing this. No
- 53:58man is doing this. But he's framing it this way because he's got the
- 54:01one billion IQ That's why this is more high IQ Internet bullshit. I can't
- 54:07stand this ship. I can't stand these fucking people. But anyway, let's
- 54:12let's hear some more. I'm sure that's what it is. I'm sure it
- 54:14is what it is, but let's let's do it. You have Brian has
- 54:16not seen this at all. I have nothing. Are you gonna refine that?
- 54:22What I'm gonna see what he's Okay, he refines his his his spectrum
- 54:28a bit, but let's keep going. All right, I'm gonna go back
- 54:30a little bit just so I hear it better cool, weird? Right?
- 54:39So what do you do? Well? Do you want to hate yourself?
- 54:43Would you prefer a leaship for rite this? Which one gotta make that choice?
- 54:50I guess neither do nothing. And that's exactly what I'm saying. It's
- 54:53hard to be convincing when you say men are in trouble after all, Like,
- 54:59look around, des All forty five US presidents have been men, and
- 55:04probably the next president will be one two. If you look at the S
- 55:07and P. Five hundred a few years ago, there are actually more CEOs
- 55:12named Michael or James than there are women CEOs period and put that. Wow,
- 55:21what an astounding insight. Okay. Also, the ratio of CEOs to
- 55:28ditch diggers and sewer workers is much higher or much lower for men than it
- 55:34is for women. Women have are about like I think one ceo per maybe
- 55:39one hundred maybe ten women sewer workers, and men are like one CEO per
- 55:45a couple hundred thousand or maybe a thousand sewer workers. I mean, if
- 55:52you include all the really bad jobs, a couple hundred thousand. So,
- 55:57for whatever reason, people don't want to point this out, there's a selective
- 56:01pressure for women out of the worst jobs. So women aren't taking the worst
- 56:06jobs, and there was being selectively maneuvered up into the CEO positions instead.
- 56:15Okay, these men aren't president of the United States. It's easy to get
- 56:22Let me look at it. Let me give you an idea of how this
- 56:25works. If you have one hundred men and one hundred women, one woman
- 56:30will be selected for CEO and maybe five men will be selected for CEO.
- 56:37Eighty men will be selected for the most dangerous, destructive, physically impactful,
- 56:44potentially deadly jobs in the world, and only about maybe one or two women
- 56:51will be in those jobs, maybe five that everybody. All the other women,
- 56:55the rest of them will be in middle management, will be in air
- 56:59condition or service, will not be doing dangerous, difficult, risky work.
- 57:05All right, And they look at that situation where you have I don't know,
- 57:10ninety eight percent of women in a materially better position than eighty percent of
- 57:16men, and they say that it's a situation that favors men really because because
- 57:28on top in the CEO position there are more men. Okay, they are
- 57:37men that are doing well. And realize that the majority of men are not
- 57:42hanging on so well. Is that their fault is that men's fault that they're
- 57:50not doing so well? Whose fault is it? Wasn't this the point of
- 57:55the last couple generations? Wasn't this the point of the future is female that
- 58:00men not be doing as well as they did? Okay, I'll be quiet.
- 58:14Doin a misogynist cult? What's your next step? Basically do nothing,
- 58:17which I think for a lot of young men would manifest as porn, gaming
- 58:22and bonds meet not in education, employment or training. Sixty three percent of
- 58:28young men a single during COVID the decline and enrollment was seven times high for
- 58:30men. Seventy one percent of males held a full time job in twenty twenty
- 58:34one, down from eighty five percent. You s unemployment. It has risen
- 58:37to fifteen point two percent in the UK. That's pretty bad news, and
- 58:40it gets worse. So we got that stare time. You are three times
- 58:44more likely to develop an alcohol dependency and three times more likely to report frequent
- 58:47drug use. Now just be mindful. Sometimes when you hear sad statistics about
- 58:55a group that you are part of, there is a part of you that
- 58:59reacts not with sadness but almost with joy. Not because you're happy, but
- 59:02because you feel validated, because you feel seen, because you've been gone through
- 59:07something, and like any human, you need empathy, and if you don't
- 59:09feel like you deserve it, stats can give you that authority, like,
- 59:14yes, I knew I wasn't going crazy, I knew that there was something
- 59:16up. But this same mechanism can become defensive when you hear similar stats about
- 59:22outgroups. So while men had it worse in education and healthcare, women had
- 59:27it worse in employment and unpaid labor, and much much worse in domestic violence.
- 59:30But they didn't. That's a bald faced defensive Alison. You don't don't
- 59:38get defensive. Explained that. No, he just explained. The chemicals in
- 59:43your brain might react and you might get defensive. Let's get like, yeah,
- 59:51women are outgroups. Come on, like, seriously, I regard women
- 59:55as an out group. I'm sorry here, I have my woman car.
- 1:00:01Okay, okay, obey the freaking yeah, please don't ban us, go
- 1:00:09ahead, but seriously, okay, those are my women are not an out
- 1:00:15group card that right there? Okay, guy, screw you, screw you
- 1:00:22all right, And I'm I'm saying this deep from in within my female cockles.
- 1:00:28Whatever the hell those are. This whole idea like this immediate segue into
- 1:00:35women have to be the biggest victims is foisting a particular identity on women,
- 1:00:39and that is lacking agency relative to men. There was the the consequences of
- 1:00:45their actions are less important, are less meaningful in the greater world. It's
- 1:00:51this learned helplessness. And what's interesting is the awareness of your effect on the
- 1:00:58outside world. Your effect on the outside world is a huge component of theory
- 1:01:01of mind and awareness like or self awareness, like of a conscious being,
- 1:01:07of being a Literally this is the test of whether an animal has like a
- 1:01:12similar consciousness level to humans, is it aware of itself in the greater world.
- 1:01:16And you are basically by making women out to be victims, you are
- 1:01:22forest forcing a particular identity on them of just being acted upon rather than being
- 1:01:28actors in the greater world. So screw you on that level, right,
- 1:01:34There is a balance to be struck here. Men have every right to feel
- 1:01:38validated when they are told that they have problems and they recognize those problems in
- 1:01:45their own life. Okay, and you framing it as in, oh,
- 1:01:51but you don't. If you get that, you can't question whether or not
- 1:01:54women have problems. Bullshit, I'm going to question that because it's a because
- 1:02:00in our society there is a huge pressure to deny men's problems and to exaggerate
- 1:02:07women's problems. And you can see like that there we have statistical evidence that
- 1:02:12we do that, We have ideological evidence. We have evidence of feminists going
- 1:02:16into domestic domestic violence studies or framing domestic violence studies in order to present domestic
- 1:02:24violence is asymmetrical with men doing it to women. Okay, so yes,
- 1:02:30we can call this out those those aren't. This is a false equivalence when
- 1:02:35when like and he starts off, Oh, men are supposed to be stoic
- 1:02:37not talk about their problems. But you know, don't, don't don't get
- 1:02:40too sucked into talking about your problems men. You might start to forget women's
- 1:02:45problems. Screw you. Can we just have the conversation about men's problems without
- 1:02:52this preemptive Yeah, but don't go too far. Don't go too far.
- 1:02:55You might cease to be useful for women's problems like teams? Can I escape?
- 1:03:04Can I escape from having problems like? Can I escape from having needs
- 1:03:09that constantly need to be served? Can I escape from that role? Is
- 1:03:14it possible? I don't mean to be aggravating, but like, is it?
- 1:03:20It's like, is there a space for women who are like you know
- 1:03:22what? I'd like to exist without a constant emphasis on how I am hard
- 1:03:29done by how life sucks and how I constantly have needs that need to be
- 1:03:32served. No offense like none taken. Okay, all right, let's get
- 1:03:39back to it. Yeah, I just want to bring that up. Kids.
- 1:03:43I don't want anyone to really feel shame about their reactions when they hit
- 1:03:45starts. If you get defensive, if you feel vindicated, I don't think
- 1:03:49it's anything to worry about. Well, that is is getting your brain beyond
- 1:03:52the reactions to solutions. Now, if that option doesn't entice you, there's
- 1:03:58always suicide. Fellas are killing it and by it I mean ourselves. So
- 1:04:02this is this is one of my best mates I lost in last yemit of
- 1:04:05suicide. Fucking love. I love this dude so much and ah no,
- 1:04:11man, black, it's it's just real, you know what I mean.
- 1:04:15But yeah, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under fifty years
- 1:04:18old. And what concerns me here is the data on how many men talk
- 1:04:21about it and how many men just spade run it. So of all soccer
- 1:04:25referrals in the UK, it's only a bit over a third on men,
- 1:04:28but of all their suicides three quarters of men. It's not because the men
- 1:04:31in the UK specifically, very specifically, it's not because they are not getting
- 1:04:36help or going to mental health or social services, because they are. Most
- 1:04:41of the men who end up killing themselves have gone to a doctor or a
- 1:04:46therapist right. In fact, they are in contact with it months before their
- 1:04:50suicide. So the idea that they're not getting well, first of all,
- 1:04:55they're not getting referrals, well is that on them? Referrals are just something
- 1:04:59generally your doctor does. And honestly, I can understand why they get less
- 1:05:04referrals because look, think about it. Men aren't screened for things like sexual
- 1:05:09abuse, they aren't screened for things like domestic abuse, they aren't screened for
- 1:05:13things like depression based on a hostile work environment like nowhere are they given any
- 1:05:20idea or any concern over these things that they might experience. So at no
- 1:05:26point are is anybody in this NHS I think that's the UK one. Are
- 1:05:31they stopping and saying, hey, is this particular man experiencing domestic violence or
- 1:05:34sexual abuse or harassment? They don't, because he's a man, so why
- 1:05:40would they be giving him referrals? Right? Oh, he might be experiencing
- 1:05:44some negative health outcomes as a result of being a new father. Nope,
- 1:05:47post postpartum depression doesn't exist for men, except that it does. Oh,
- 1:05:51he might be experiencing nevigive the things as a result of losing his relationship with
- 1:05:56his children or his his marriage breaking down. Is there any screening for that?
- 1:06:02No, there's no screening. There's no There's no point in a man's
- 1:06:08life where anybody in this medical health industry thinks, oh, hey, he
- 1:06:14might be going through some shit. Maybe he should be referred to a psychiatrist.
- 1:06:17And if he is, God help him. Like if he ends up
- 1:06:20with a feminist, one's just gonna blame him for his own problems. But
- 1:06:24whatever. But anyway, there's no point. The men are not being recognized
- 1:06:29as having issues. That's why they're not being referred, and you're gonna blame
- 1:06:32men for that, for a society that simply does not recognize that when men
- 1:06:40go through life changes or negative experiences, that they might need assistance of some
- 1:06:46kind. And maybe the referrals shouldn't be to therapists, maybe they should be
- 1:06:50to I know, men seem to do better with group therapy or alternatively,
- 1:06:58therapies that involve actual activities, you know, fishing, building something, going
- 1:07:05out and doing something with your friends, stuff like that. But is there
- 1:07:09any point in the system where there's any consideration for men going through things in
- 1:07:13their life. No, that's why they don't get the referrals, and that
- 1:07:18is that are they to blame for that? Well, let's find out.
- 1:07:24Maybe I don't know. It sounds like you knowhere is well, yeah,
- 1:07:29let's see. Let's see what he says. I don't know. I tried
- 1:07:31to light in this section by having like Nate or Yate, uh hate laugh
- 1:07:36hate find is hilarious. But yeah, this is a pretty pretty freaking dog.
- 1:07:42Well why men don't talk about their mental health? Got some qualitative data
- 1:07:45here. I've larned to deal with it. Forty percent don't much to be
- 1:07:46a burden on anyone thirty six to embarrass twenty nine negative stigma around that type
- 1:07:50of thing twenty The thing that I think combines these two Nate and Yate is
- 1:07:56let's say Nate is comfort. It's the absence of chat, and suicide is
- 1:08:00the absence of life. So the less we have to overcome, the more
- 1:08:03likely ittle O feelmantingless, of course, like so much data. I don't
- 1:08:10know. I think this guy has some serious stuff he's not processing. Say
- 1:08:15again, what was that I said? I think this man, like,
- 1:08:18just judging from what that that sound he just made, I think he has
- 1:08:21some serious stuff he's not processing. Hopefully he doesn't have a wife who's like
- 1:08:29if he cries, she's disgusted. Yeah, exactly. I was gonna say,
- 1:08:33hopefully not somebody who discussed him when he expresses his emotions. But and
- 1:08:39also I will say, like for the thing I've learned to deal with.
- 1:08:42It is probably another way of saying I don't want to be burdened on other
- 1:08:45people, because I think in general that's the reason why men do it,
- 1:08:47and they'd rather you think that they're okay because you realizing or them sharing with
- 1:08:56you that they don't want to be a burden is actually going to make them
- 1:09:00feel as though they're making themselves into a burden. So they're not gonna say
- 1:09:05it, Hm sorry, well yes, and I was gonna point that out
- 1:09:11too, like this is the so that basically the leading cause is what I've
- 1:09:14said multiple times on this show. Men don't want to feel like a burden.
- 1:09:18And if men don't, if if the primary thing that men are expressing
- 1:09:26about depression, well, depression can make you feel like a burden, right,
- 1:09:32and it can make you feel like the solution to you being a burden
- 1:09:35is to yeat yourself. Right. So one of the symptoms of depression,
- 1:09:42one of the most critical systems of depression, may be feeling like a burden.
- 1:09:46Right. What does our society do to men but make them feel like
- 1:09:50a burden on everything, like on women? Basically like it, you know
- 1:10:00women specifically, Yes, yeah, that's what is the bear meme. If
- 1:10:03not that, yeah, men are a burden women, everything is just men
- 1:10:08are useless. Men are a burden, right, and that is that is
- 1:10:14the primary symptom of depression. So in that sense, our society is inculcating
- 1:10:19depression and boys and men by forcing them to feel like a burden through constant
- 1:10:27repetition of this and uh yeah, so that. And I remember we listen
- 1:10:34to Healthy Gamer and he talked about how feeling like over identifying yourself as the
- 1:10:42problem is a symptom is the big symptom of depression, which then leads to
- 1:10:46suicide. So our society over identifies men and boys as the problem. What
- 1:10:54a surprise they are experiencing depression And he talks about speed running, speed runging
- 1:11:02suicide. Well, okay, let's just unpack that men and boys have to
- 1:11:09live in a society that is deliberately targeting them with the kind of speech that
- 1:11:17causes them to believe that they are a burden, that they are the problem,
- 1:11:23which is which is basically depression. We are inculcating depression in men and
- 1:11:28boys like we're as a society. We have chosen to do this. This
- 1:11:31is this is how we are interacting with men and boys as a society.
- 1:11:36Okay, why are men speed running depression because the instant they no longer I
- 1:11:44remember I was talking about how the guy who focused on getting the pictures up
- 1:11:48instead of recognizing that he didn't like them. When men are no longer able
- 1:11:55to focus on their relationships as a source of value for themselves and being able
- 1:12:02to serve the people they're with. Then all of that societal messaging just comes
- 1:12:12crashing down. You are a burden, and you know, they speed run
- 1:12:19the suicide because they have nothing else. Like the thing that was keeping that
- 1:12:26tidal wave at bay was their ability to serve the people in their life.
- 1:12:31You get what I'm saying, Yes, yea. And once something happens,
- 1:12:35maybe they lose a job, maybe they lose a partner, maybe they lose
- 1:12:39a kid. Something like that happens, that wall breaks down, the tatal
- 1:12:44wave comes through, and then they're gone because they have nothing else because this
- 1:12:50society has eroded everything else. All right, let's get back to it.
- 1:13:01Yeah, reason for existence. They go stock riving mad. Thankfully, we
- 1:13:06do have a secret fifth option. Did we get through before we get into
- 1:13:13the secret fIF fifth option which really isn't but the secret fifth option is basically
- 1:13:17inventing the map to the oasis that that's going to solve everything when you're lost
- 1:13:24in the desert, just imagine the oasis and draw a map to it.
- 1:13:28But that that spectrum he made, did you notice that on one side was
- 1:13:34kill all men, and then the on the other side was, oh maybe
- 1:13:40he Oh, shoot, guys, I'm I might I might dip out.
- 1:13:45I might end up leaving because I think we're having a bit of a brown
- 1:13:48out. Oh your internet might yeah, might crap out. We'll see,
- 1:13:54we'll see, well' seeah, let's uh, let's pray to the uh.
- 1:14:00Pray to pray to the goals. Pray to the Saskatchewan Internet goals. Okay,
- 1:14:05but I'm pretty sure he has he put up the the spectrum yet.
- 1:14:12Maybe it's a little bit later. On one side it had On one side
- 1:14:17it had kill all men. On the other side it had if you were
- 1:14:24my daughter, I would I might commit athlony. Did you hear that yet?
- 1:14:30Oh? No, but I did skip a bit. The algorithm loves
- 1:14:32it. Yeah, the albums Yeah, And I think we skipped a little
- 1:14:39bit of it. So well, let's see if it Let's see if it
- 1:14:41comes up, I'll switch over to that scene, we'll play it. Of
- 1:14:45what we learned about understanding the crisis, Firstly, if there is a crisis,
- 1:14:49or if there isn't a crisis, it does not hurt to show compassion
- 1:14:53towards young men. If anything, it makes life easier for everybody. Empty
- 1:14:57is not a finite razorus. It's more like a snowball than what you give
- 1:14:59them. Yet, Secondly, we learn that human interactions being replaced by media
- 1:15:02interaction at scale that's traveling. Thirdly, because of the fact that the messages
- 1:15:06that we receive online are often written by a tiny sliver of the platform's uses,
- 1:15:11by people who are highly incentivized to create an outgroup and then dunk on
- 1:15:15it, and any alleged evidence of this crazy outgroup, you know, like
- 1:15:18a really messed up post, is often just evidence of one crazy person.
- 1:15:23This is excuse him that we are saying reflective politically, we'll have the world
- 1:15:26all right. I want to pause it there for a second, because this
- 1:15:30is why I don't talk about crazy Twitter users that often unless I'm illustrating a
- 1:15:34point or an argument, because I'm not going for the outliers, dude,
- 1:15:39I'm going right for the academic feminism. These aren't the crazy people on Twitter
- 1:15:48or a feminists in the you know, talking about kill all men. This
- 1:15:54isn't even like the guy on the street asking women questions about men and hearing
- 1:15:58they're retarded ass for responses. This is about people in positions of tremendous power
- 1:16:03and influence that like run our media, the media that you claim is actually
- 1:16:08just farming for the shareholders. They're actually creating these narratives. Sorry to tell
- 1:16:14you this is not. This is again he's he's pretending like, oh,
- 1:16:18guys, there's no teams, but then he's constructing teams. And then when
- 1:16:23I point out that there is a team, there are sides and that that
- 1:16:27it's not it's not like you know, it's like when people say we're in
- 1:16:30the midst of a culture war, right, No, there's no culture war.
- 1:16:33There are people destroying everything and there are people who are trying to keep
- 1:16:38it together. That's not a war. That's like, that's like barbarians you
- 1:16:42know, at your at your fortress, and you're just trying to keep them
- 1:16:45away. Like that's what it is. And that's what feminism is doing to
- 1:16:49men, to women, to relationships, to families, to our government at
- 1:16:56writ large, your word, not mine, all over Like that's not that
- 1:17:00there's no teams, dude, Like I want to go live in the country
- 1:17:04that's run by the patriarchy because this ain't it. You know, maybe I
- 1:17:11get like a fair shot, maybe I would be able to own some land
- 1:17:14and like start my own business, you know, without having to like navigate
- 1:17:18this feminized Maybe black Rock doesn't own all the companies, you know. But
- 1:17:23again, he's gonna pretend like this is like I'm gonna bring the book never
- 1:17:27before discovered or heard of, nuanced through the conversation by first misrepresenting everybody and
- 1:17:33then stepping in and saying, man, you guys got this all wrong.
- 1:17:36It's a good thing. I figured it all out and here's the answer,
- 1:17:40and it's gonna be something really stupid that we've already covered. But anywhere okay,
- 1:17:45well, you know I would have to agree with you. And the
- 1:17:49thing is that he doesn't realize that he's already in an extremist position, like
- 1:17:56you look at that framework. He's already he's already straw manning the the men's
- 1:18:00side of the conversation. He's strong manned the ship out of it. So
- 1:18:03now he now that he's constructed. This is what they always do. They
- 1:18:06they create a person or they create a an id ideology aside, they build
- 1:18:13it, you know, and then they and then they knock it down with
- 1:18:15their lodging and they're like, look at how easily defeated. That was I
- 1:18:18must be super smart. It's just it's yeah, okay, well here's here's
- 1:18:25the big problem. Okay. On one side, we have media, we
- 1:18:30have academia, we have NGOs, we have the government, all invested in
- 1:18:35a particular narrative, which is men oppressed women and construct society for their own
- 1:18:40benefit at the expense of women. Got the United Nations doing that? Yeah,
- 1:18:44we got to. It's crazy, crazy, every institution who buys into
- 1:18:49this narrative, right, all on one side, all of it. And
- 1:18:58then you have a couple of commentators on the internet who are using the algorithm
- 1:19:03that is constructed to make money in order to drive hits, and they and
- 1:19:10they use controversy to do it, and they're basically just beating off of,
- 1:19:16you know, everything on that side. They're not really offering an alternative.
- 1:19:21They're just teasing it in order to get like a little bit like to divert
- 1:19:28some of the attention. So you have the central belief system and then you
- 1:19:33have the central belief systems, series of fools and designated trolls and count and
- 1:19:43controlled opposition. Right, these two are not equal. In fact, you
- 1:19:50think that there's a spectrum with feminism and Andrew Tait. But they're actually both
- 1:19:58on the same side because they both define men in the same way. Right,
- 1:20:05the other person, the other group you have not identified all the other
- 1:20:11group that is an alternative to the feminist definition of masculinity. I mean,
- 1:20:16the only difference that I would say with Andrew Tate is that he takes them
- 1:20:19the feminist definition of masculinity, you know, brings out, I guess,
- 1:20:24the more positive aspects, the pro social aspects of being a playboy. But
- 1:20:30he's still defined in feminist terms like this is this is like a couple episodes
- 1:20:35ago, somebody was we were we were responding to someone else who said,
- 1:20:40you know, Andrew Tad is a thirteen year old boy's idea of manhood.
- 1:20:43Well, he's also a feminist woman's idea of manhood. Like so they're both
- 1:20:47there, right, and then who's over here? Who's over here? You
- 1:20:54don't even know who's over here, you haven't even looked. But you're not
- 1:21:01because you're still in the same framework. You're still in the same framework.
- 1:21:06You are still on the sinking ship, and it is sinking. This whole
- 1:21:12structure that's based on the idea that men oppress women. That the primary driving
- 1:21:17force between the relationship between men and women is oppression. It's sinking, right,
- 1:21:25And what's really aggravating when I listen to this guy is that not only
- 1:21:30is he not willing to acknowledge that he's within the sinking ship, which is
- 1:21:35this extremism which is sinking, but he is encouraging other people to stay in
- 1:21:42it. And we're going to see that. Okay, let's keep going.
- 1:21:48Young gen Z men are drifting towards the right. Young gen Z women are
- 1:21:51drifting towards left. In North America, ast age drifting out, not drifting
- 1:22:00towards the right. They're drifting out of politics, except for in South Korea,
- 1:22:04where they are going right slightly less fast than women are going left.
- 1:22:10Yeah, they went slightly right, so and it is a reaction. But
- 1:22:14that's fair, isn't it. So anyway, let's keep going. Yeah,
- 1:22:16women are just going completely off the rails, even well I live here in
- 1:22:20New Zealand. Next week cover the fact that lots of young men are just
- 1:22:24tapping out. They feel disenfranchised. So a lot of young days are just
- 1:22:28rejecting institutions, and yeah, plenty of young days are also just rejecting life.
- 1:22:31And finally we cover the fact that young men don't want to be in
- 1:22:33this predicament. They want guidance, they want structure, they want purpose,
- 1:22:36they want clarity. But lots of them feel understandably confused. I mean,
- 1:22:41when you're getting so many different competing messages, that is a normal reaction today's
- 1:22:45stand age boys, No, what do you mean by competing messages? They're
- 1:22:51just getting shpit on. Yeah, that's it, Like literally, they're just
- 1:22:58getting shipped on. And then there's entertain who doesn't explicitly shit on them.
- 1:23:04Yeah, you know. It's like it's like this, there's a tsunami as
- 1:23:10shit being flung at boys, and then there's this one spot, you know,
- 1:23:16where a little less shit is being flung at them, and everybody's like,
- 1:23:19why are they going over to this spot where there's less shit being flung
- 1:23:23at them? Oh, I wonder why, Like you don't. And the
- 1:23:28thing is that he's he starts with this incredibly intensely hateful message towards men and
- 1:23:33boys. You have no value as men and boys. Not only do you
- 1:23:39not have value as men and boys, you have no right to have a
- 1:23:44place to earn value as men as boys. Men and boys, that's the
- 1:23:47overwhelming message of our society. He goes from that to, oh, there's
- 1:23:53all kinds of messages being said. Okay, but really, aren't you mostly
- 1:24:01concerned about the really hateful messages towards men and boys? Like what doesn't that
- 1:24:10really the overwhelming point here? Like, honestly, if we lived in a
- 1:24:14society where women had this much shit thrown at them, wouldn't that be the
- 1:24:17point? You know? I mean, because when men were asked do we
- 1:24:25need women? None of them are very I think maybe one of them said
- 1:24:29no. Everyone else was like, yeah, of course we need women.
- 1:24:32When women are asked, no, we don't need men, Actually none of
- 1:24:38them said no. One of them said yeah, I think, you know,
- 1:24:42because I need some I do the dishes. So he was trolling.
- 1:24:44That was the only one that could have been interpreted as negative. But all
- 1:24:46of them were like, hell, yeah, we like women because women are
- 1:24:49great. And they didn't even think that. They assume. I think a
- 1:24:53lot of guys that answered that way honestly, they believe that if women were
- 1:24:57asked the same question they would answer the same way. They would have that
- 1:25:00much faith that women would be like, yes, of course we need men,
- 1:25:03you know, like, how do how else could I be, like
- 1:25:05live in the comfortable lifestyle in the first world that I currently have without men.
- 1:25:11How is it possible that I could feel safe, you know, in
- 1:25:14a first world country, protected by police and firefighters in the military if it
- 1:25:18weren't for men. And I'm sure that men were thinking that, Oh yeah,
- 1:25:21they would totally say that for us, but they totally didn't. And
- 1:25:25a lot of it is women are just like, well, I don't want
- 1:25:28to be seen as needing men, so I got to like, you know,
- 1:25:30they're basically reacting to a potential reaction from women when they say no,
- 1:25:35because they want other women to be like, yeah, you go girls.
- 1:25:39So it's like they're trying to like it's actually to other women, you know
- 1:25:43what I'm saying, Yeah, I know, they're signaling to other women.
- 1:25:46The way of explaining it, our society gives men and boys no sense that
- 1:25:51they are valued by women or can earn value from women by any action taken
- 1:25:58in this society. So there's no sense that men can be valuable to women
- 1:26:03by by doing this, or doing this, or doing a doing this activity
- 1:26:08in society, like for example, we talked about manhood in China. I'm
- 1:26:12betting that those men in China thought that by doing great cultural deeds they would
- 1:26:17get the ladies, you know, they would get the women would appreciate them.
- 1:26:23Women would be singing, you know that, using that zither type instrument
- 1:26:28and singing their praises and stuff like that. Right, I just don't remember
- 1:26:33the name of it. I know that the string instrument you're talking about,
- 1:26:35the Chinese one. Yeah, I can't. I can't remember the name of
- 1:26:39it. But I was just trying to think of it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:26:42But so in each of these societies there's a sense that if men were
- 1:26:46not innately valued, there at least was a clear pathway to being valued by
- 1:26:54the society and by women. There is none of that in our society.
- 1:26:59There is no recognition that men provide any value, nor that they can as
- 1:27:03men earn value. And here's where it sort of comes in with his relationship.
- 1:27:09When a man has a woman and she values him, it's sort of
- 1:27:13like a shield against that overwhelming message by society. But should he lose her,
- 1:27:20then that tsunami hits him full force. And that's probably why in the
- 1:27:26event of relationship breakup, or relationship difficulties, men are more likely to commit
- 1:27:31suicide. They like she said, they speed run suicide, you know,
- 1:27:35And is he going to address that, like any of that. I really
- 1:27:44I don't think so. But see, well that tells him that they are
- 1:27:47toxic, wrong, broken, unwanted and generally should feel shame for existing.
- 1:27:51That's pretty messed up. And so of course it's no surprise they don't really
- 1:27:56feel motivated to try. And of course it did. And like those people,
- 1:28:04yeah, convicted sex traffickers. So okay, all right, wait what
- 1:28:10why are you poisoning the well for people who tell men they matter? I
- 1:28:15mean, like if there's a side and that side by the way is like
- 1:28:19essentially our entire culture. It's like everything. No, he's been arrested.
- 1:28:27I don't know it, Like I don't think there's any been a final verdict.
- 1:28:30It doesn't matter. Alison Trump was also convicted of thirty four felonies.
- 1:28:35But that doesn't mean that they're guilty of anything. It's just that the systems
- 1:28:39don't work. The system doesn't work. But anyway, this guy is saying
- 1:28:45that there is an entire industry that makes all of its it flourishes on the
- 1:28:53hatred of men that is, that is from social media influencers at the bottom,
- 1:28:59you know, feminists just sitting on men, bread tubers, whatever,
- 1:29:01all the way up to the fucking United Nations. Okay, I'm sure that
- 1:29:06if there was a NASA paper, it would be shitting on men in there
- 1:29:10somewhere. If they weren't like astronauts at the top one percent, even then
- 1:29:14they'd be like, there probably should be more women astronauts. But the whole
- 1:29:18thing is set up this way. And then one guy because apparently the only
- 1:29:23guy that seems to exist to him is Andrew Tate, because there are no
- 1:29:27other men having this conversation because when he brings us up, it's like,
- 1:29:30oh, I guess it's just it's just the sex trafficker. Or it's like
- 1:29:34this entire society of man hating institutions, and why are you gonna pick that
- 1:29:41guy? And again acting like nothing else exists. What is the purpose of
- 1:29:45this? It is poisoning the well. It is essentially to hoist himself up.
- 1:29:48Hey guys, why you're listening to this guy. You could be listening
- 1:29:51to me. I'm not shitting on you, I'm just shitting on the one
- 1:29:55guy in the entire internet that says it's okay to be you. So you
- 1:30:02know that's it. I'm just he Yeah, this guy's kind of a piece
- 1:30:08of shit, And I'm sorry that your friend like ended his own life.
- 1:30:11But have you ever thought to ask yourself, like, how come he didn't
- 1:30:15come to you for help? But because maybe you weren't very helpful, Maybe
- 1:30:19you weren't putting out a vibe that said, hey, you can talk to
- 1:30:23me about your feelings if you're feeling despondent. But no, you wait until
- 1:30:26afterwards and you're like, well, I got to save the men from this
- 1:30:30man who actually is okay with them. Yeah, but that's the thing.
- 1:30:34It's sort of almost worse that he's acknowledging all of the stuff that happens to
- 1:30:41men and boys, Like he's recognizing the contempt, the shaming, and that
- 1:30:45it's overwhelming, like it's institutional. And but then he says, uh,
- 1:30:51the only person who says you matter is like a, well, he's not
- 1:30:55a convicted sex track the gir as bar as, I know, but you
- 1:30:58know he has this problem. Well, thank god you have this guy to
- 1:31:02point to, because God forbid you actually engage in this issue in an honest
- 1:31:10way, like you should. You should reach out to Roma Army. I
- 1:31:14understand, she invented men's rights activisties exactly, She's got a facilion views on
- 1:31:20TikTok to go to her. Let's be honest, Roma would be a better
- 1:31:25choice than than Andrew Tate. Well maybe not, but I don't know.
- 1:31:28I mean, it's like similar vibes. I don't know. Yeah, I
- 1:31:31mean maybe, but the point is at least at least she's somebody else.
- 1:31:35At least she's somebody else besides Andrew Tate ultimate man. Yeah, exactly,
- 1:31:42like and that that feminism constructed like literally that Andrew Tate invinces all of the
- 1:31:48last things that feminism said that defined men that could be passingly pro social.
- 1:31:54So he was basically constructed and then also constructed by the media because they chose
- 1:31:59to pay attention to him. And this is it. Okay, but let's
- 1:32:02see, let's identify. So we've identified what it is that Tait does,
- 1:32:09which is say that boys and men have value, right, Okay, so
- 1:32:15what is are you going to say that to them? Or what are you
- 1:32:19what's your plan? Let's see, let's find out. All right, hold
- 1:32:23on, it's probably bad. Progressives and the left especially seem to not want
- 1:32:29to acknowledge this, or at least not acknowledge that men might be a group
- 1:32:33in need of assistance itself. There's a sort of hesitance to talking about men
- 1:32:40as men and then said people want to say, well, we just need
- 1:32:43to be good people. But what does that look like specifically, because young
- 1:32:48men especially are asking for a specific path. Yes, because young men do
- 1:32:55not have inherent worth, we're not willing to recognize that, and we are
- 1:33:00also not willing to give them a path to earn worth, which is really
- 1:33:05what traditionalism does. At the very least, it gives young men a path
- 1:33:10to earn worth. And China did. It gave the Chinese man a path
- 1:33:15to earn worth through cultural works and military prowess. You know so, But
- 1:33:20we don't have that because if we were to acknowledge that this is the path
- 1:33:27through which men earn worth, because they're not going to get it innately,
- 1:33:31this is the pathway, then we would have to say that this is not
- 1:33:35the pathway through which women earn worth. And nobody wants to do that.
- 1:33:42Nobody wants to recognize that actually, men deserve to have their own unique things
- 1:33:48that they offer society and recognition of those things, because if you do that,
- 1:33:53then you're doing the horrible misogynist thing of excluding women, and you're taking
- 1:33:58away the rights, the right to have everything. Right. Okay, let's
- 1:34:01see what he has to say. I don't know if he even addresses that
- 1:34:04that the problem is this lack of worth, either the lack of inherent worth
- 1:34:10or the lack of men and boys having a way to earn worth that's unique
- 1:34:14to them. Do you see? Okay, why is it that you are?
- 1:34:33Okay? Do you how did Okay? So now we've just completely abandoned
- 1:34:38getting bombarded by hatred. So we're just assuming the hatred? Right, do
- 1:34:44you see what just happened? Let me look back a little bit. I'm
- 1:34:47just gonna play it again. Okay, Yes, we need to analyze this.
- 1:34:55There is a secret miss up shit code before chaos? What does that
- 1:34:59mean? To a code? Define your own sense of masculinity before getting bombarded
- 1:35:03by psychopathy? All right? Stop? See what I'm saying? The secret
- 1:35:09fifth option? Where is all the tusunamia hatred? Where is it in this
- 1:35:14little clever diagram? Oh? Does it just come from nowhere? Yeah?
- 1:35:17Like where Okay, why is it that young men and boys have to define
- 1:35:24their own masculinity a task that has stymied philosophers since the beginning of time?
- 1:35:30And well, these young men and boys are defining their masculinity. Maybe they
- 1:35:34could solve the grand unified theory of everything, you know, like seriously,
- 1:35:41and you're asking boys to do the teenage boys? Really no? Like I
- 1:35:48mean, yeah, maybe maybe when you're in your sixties, like you can
- 1:35:54look back on a life well lived and say, ah, this is the
- 1:35:56wisdom that I get. But you know, if you're thirteen year old boy,
- 1:36:02isn't that a bit much? Maybe you should just get rid of the
- 1:36:05freaking Like why is there no option of yeating the hatred? It's just it's
- 1:36:15it is it will Actually, no, here's what I think is actually going
- 1:36:17on here. It says code define your own sense of masculinity before chaos getting
- 1:36:26bombarded by psychopaths and grifters and simulated pleasure. So psychopaths, I guess meaning
- 1:36:31the fringe feminists that hate men online. That makes no I know, but
- 1:36:42I'm just I'm just laying out what his case is. So code define your
- 1:36:45own sense of masculinity before chaos. Getting bombarded by psychopaths, feminists, grifters,
- 1:36:53Andrew Tate and simulated pleasure, video games and porn and drugs. So
- 1:36:58that so those are like, those are the outcomes. A man is either
- 1:37:02going to find himself bombarded by psychopaths, grifters, or you know, vanishing
- 1:37:08and simulated pleasure, and he has to define his masculinity before that happens.
- 1:37:13Okay, So the first part of that I agree with, to find your
- 1:37:16own sense of masculinity. I think men are trying to do that, and
- 1:37:20I'm sorry, like it or hate it. Andrew Taty is one of the
- 1:37:24people offering them an option. Because the establishment, the institutions, the education
- 1:37:29system, the media, the journalists, et cetera. They offer men nothing
- 1:37:33less than nothing. They just tell them they're bad for society. And there's
- 1:37:36one guy that says that they're okay, and that is one option, and
- 1:37:41he does say, define your own masculinity. Okay, He's obviously not the
- 1:37:45only one, but I think that it is important for boys to define their
- 1:37:48own sense of masculinity. But we can walk in chew gum at the same
- 1:37:55time, so we can also do that while doing something about being bombarded by
- 1:38:00psychopaths, at least that because if it weren't for the psychopaths, there wouldn't
- 1:38:08be grifters, and there might not be as much simulated pleasure because maybe men
- 1:38:12would get their satisfaction from something else if there weren't psychopaths that were acting as
- 1:38:17active obstacles to a man's a young man's developmental life cycle. So from the
- 1:38:24moment he goes into school, he has to deal with bias, Then he
- 1:38:27goes into the workplace, he has to deal with bias. Then in the
- 1:38:30dating world he has to deal with biases. And all of these things are
- 1:38:33negatively affecting him. And there's a constant like static field miasma of hatred towards
- 1:38:40men or general antipathy and disdain that men have to navigate, especially if they're
- 1:38:45not people men, which is basically sevens or lower, and they have to
- 1:38:50manage to somehow survive that without going to grifters like Andrew Tate, or vanishing
- 1:38:58in porn and video games, which of course they're not supposed to do because
- 1:39:00they have to remain maintain being like I don't know, producing value, but
- 1:39:06we're not encouraging that in them, so we should, as you said,
- 1:39:11Allison, do something yeat the chaos. We can do that and also allow
- 1:39:17men to define their masculinity or follow a model of masculinity you know that they
- 1:39:23prefer. And on top of that, we could also be encouraging women to
- 1:39:28follow a sense of femininity and earn something as well, you know, instead
- 1:39:33of just giving them shit because they're women. Because that is also part of
- 1:39:38this problem, is that women are treated as though they have no work to
- 1:39:42do and men have to do all the work to just be seen as men.
- 1:39:46So yeah, that's just my two cents. Okay, so my interpretations.
- 1:39:51First of all, bombarded by sociopaths. That's not the real problem.
- 1:39:58The rad femmes are not the real problem. It's all of the low grade
- 1:40:03fever of defining boys and men by oppressing women, which I'm sure this guy
- 1:40:10buys into. So he's part of the problem, you know that that has
- 1:40:15to go. That is the actual ground zero for the problem. The deconstruction
- 1:40:21of men's identity, the deconstruction of their worst to society. I mean,
- 1:40:26what happens when you say to a group of people that your primary action in
- 1:40:30society is detrimental, burdensome, hateful, borderline criminal. Like this is what
- 1:40:38that narrative says to boison men, to boison men, that their actions in
- 1:40:44society are bad for women. They're the opposite of earning value from women.
- 1:40:48They're taking value from women, right, that whole narrative, it's hateful and
- 1:40:54extremist. We don't even talk about their ad fems. The ratfims are amusing.
- 1:41:00They're basically like the They're basically like the clown Act at the end of
- 1:41:06the of the of the genocide. Like it's like they're they're just the least
- 1:41:14of it. They're just they're just laugh at them because they're crazy, and
- 1:41:17they're obviously crazy, and everybody understands they're obviously crazy. The real problem is
- 1:41:21the crazy stuff that nobody understands is actually crazy, which is men take value
- 1:41:28from women and society and have no method to provide provide it back. Well,
- 1:41:34I mean, they can get a job and earn money, but now
- 1:41:36that's also oppression. But so that that whole structure that men not only don't
- 1:41:43have an innate value like women, they have no path to earn value,
- 1:41:46but whatever they do is taking value away from men and or sorry, from
- 1:41:50women in society. It's turning society into something toxic, and that also masculinity
- 1:41:57is toxic without any kind of positive all of that, and it's all seen
- 1:42:00as sane and it is a careful extremism that needs to be heated, and
- 1:42:08that happens well before anybody encounters a rad fem on Twitter. Like, but
- 1:42:14the other thing is that it seems like we're he identifies that that Andrew Tate
- 1:42:19tells boys and men that they are worth something, like they have value.
- 1:42:25I don't know if he does. I don't listen to him very closely,
- 1:42:29no offense. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, But why isn't that
- 1:42:34part of what he's suggesting here, Like let's yat all of this stuff that's
- 1:42:41telling like taking young boys and saying, your contribution to society not only doesn't
- 1:42:48add value, but takes value away. And also you have no value,
- 1:42:54you know, like we get rid of that, we eat that, and
- 1:42:57then we also tell them that there is value and there's way to earn it,
- 1:43:00Like there's specific things that men do that are valuable to society and it's
- 1:43:05specifically men doing them, Like why can't we do that? Why can't we
- 1:43:10do what? He says Andrew t is doing, like, where is that
- 1:43:13in this? It's like you're basically saying, here's the problem men and boys
- 1:43:19or boys are experiencing a whole bunch of hatred and bullshit and you're not even
- 1:43:24identifying the true source of it. But at least you're acknowledging it. What
- 1:43:30needs to happen, you see, what needs to happen is boys need to
- 1:43:34man up and they need to fix this in themselves. So they need to
- 1:43:41define a masculinity in complete defiance of everybody in their life. If they don't
- 1:43:46have a father, you know, their mother, the women who are teaching
- 1:43:50them, the media, the academia, the government. They need to be
- 1:43:55stronger than all of that, and they need to define an identity and complete
- 1:44:00exclusion to any external factor. What like, that's a that's a big ask.
- 1:44:06I'm sorry, Brian. Yeah, boys should be able to define their
- 1:44:11own identity, but they should be given the space and the protection to do
- 1:44:16so. You know, they shouldn't be Yes, they should have the right
- 1:44:23to do that, you know, and absolutely it should be respected, but
- 1:44:29we also should be protecting them through that process. Okay, this is there's
- 1:44:35no sense of the response. He's offering no sense of the responsibility of anything
- 1:44:41external to the boy. Okay, and I know that you know, everybody's
- 1:44:45like, wow, men should define themselves, But especially when you're talking about
- 1:44:49boys, how are they supposed to even find a space to start in this
- 1:44:57much noise and hatred and guilt and shame, Like they're just constant going to
- 1:45:01be constantly fighting just to bail water out of the boat, much less actually
- 1:45:06getting to the point of creating a positive definition for themselves. So right there,
- 1:45:13like this is all just yeah, and it's appealing. I know that
- 1:45:16this, this seems like it would be something that would appeal to men and
- 1:45:19boys that you know, if they don't need anyone, they can just define
- 1:45:23it for themselves. If they need anyone, you know, then that's there's
- 1:45:26just somehow cheating or something. And they should be able to define, Like
- 1:45:30literally, they should be able to build manhood under a hail of bullets.
- 1:45:33That's so cool, but is it really real realistic or alternatively, are you
- 1:45:41just constructing if you're going to expect boys to somehow maintain a sense of self
- 1:45:45in a hale of bullets, are you just driving them to the only shelter
- 1:45:50that they can identify, which is apparently Andrew Tate, who least says you
- 1:45:58have value. Right, Okay, well, here's like I said, here's
- 1:46:02an idea. Turn off machine guns. Turn off the machine guns. Build
- 1:46:11a trench or something, or alternatively, if you can't because you don't control
- 1:46:15the machine guns, because we don't, build a trench that they can get
- 1:46:19out of the machine guns. And then hey, now that you have a
- 1:46:25little bit of a space to think and cogitate and room and safety, go
- 1:46:30ahead, figure out who you are. But that doesn't seem to be anywhere
- 1:46:38in this Again, it's just ah, yeah, boys need to take responsibility
- 1:46:42for all of society hating them and being able to manage to magic up a
- 1:46:45positive identity despite it all her like okay, and again I think men are
- 1:46:56great and boys are slightly annoying, but they become men, so they're great
- 1:47:00too. But at the same time as your people, there's there's limits to
- 1:47:04what can be expected from men and boys realistically. All right, I hope
- 1:47:11that is not insulting to who to men and boys? Oh no, I
- 1:47:18don't think so, all right? And you add a pleasure does vary in
- 1:47:21self away see from Jermaine greer human beings have an inalienable right to invent themselves.
- 1:47:27When that right is preempted, it is called brainwashing. Then turn off
- 1:47:31anyone, Then turn off the hail of shame and guilt. Like you are
- 1:47:39completely you have recognized that men are under fire, but you are not suggesting
- 1:47:44that they take cover. Instead, you are suggesting they become bulletproof. Sir,
- 1:47:49that is bullshit. Okay, you want to be, but if the
- 1:47:57chaos gets in before you set your code. Basically, when do you think
- 1:48:02boys are exposed to feminism? Say again, when do you think men are
- 1:48:12or sorry, boys are first exposed to feminism? When do you think boys
- 1:48:16are first exposed to the idea that women have more value than them? Like
- 1:48:27that's when this, he says, get in before the chaos. Well when's
- 1:48:30that like three two pre natal he quoted Germaine career. So yeah, you're
- 1:48:41just you, just you. You basically tuned out as soon as I am,
- 1:48:45Like I was a way before that. I knew where this was going
- 1:48:48from because it's always the same. Like I said, these people are really
- 1:48:53predictable, Like it's always the same, It's always the same shit, you
- 1:48:56know, It's like, oh, men, are in trouble and and I
- 1:49:00don't want them to. But what's really scary is that they might go to
- 1:49:03the scary person direction. I can't have that. So let me quote a
- 1:49:08feminist a thumb and then tell them that this one is totally one of the
- 1:49:11good ones and you'll be okay. I mean, I don't know, it's
- 1:49:15just it. Look, I'm I think we should we keep going if you
- 1:49:20want, you want to go to this peak or I'm sure you play through
- 1:49:25this. This is a slog. All right, let's get through this.
- 1:49:28These New Zealanders, Man square, go back to your shires. Well,
- 1:49:36according to that staunch biology taser from season three Community played by Okay Williams playing
- 1:49:46in the wild, man got to have a cod This man has got to
- 1:49:49have an acronym c O day A. Yes, an easy structure. So
- 1:49:56I will not pretend that I have any of the answers, however, Okay,
- 1:50:01So it says, compass, where you're going, outlets, what you
- 1:50:05do, dream team, who you're with, earned how it feels. Well,
- 1:50:11stop you right there, Stop you right there, buddy, You're not
- 1:50:15gonna let this sounds like some really common sense ship that any normal man would
- 1:50:18do if he had the freedom, especially if he's a young man, and
- 1:50:23the ability to form associations with men who are going to support him. Guess
- 1:50:29what, that's not allowed in our current time, not easily anyway. It's
- 1:50:33not encouraged for sure, isn't that? This is basically the same as what
- 1:50:40was it? Lawyer up? Hit the gym? Lift? Yeah, just
- 1:50:45lift, bro, Just you know what, you have problems? Just stop
- 1:50:48having them? Dude, you're feeling like yourself? Yeah, just don't you
- 1:50:59do you feel like a here's more of a burden. You haven't burdened yourself
- 1:51:03enough with all this crap. Like, honestly, why don't we just have
- 1:51:09somebody tell men and boys, or particularly boys in particular, since we're really
- 1:51:14concerned about them and we should be, why don't we have somebody tell boys?
- 1:51:17I was just kidding when I said boys are annoying. They're very rambunctious.
- 1:51:24That's good, But why don't we tell boys? Why don't we say,
- 1:51:30Okay, Andrew Tait is telling boys and men that they have value,
- 1:51:32Why don't we just tell boys and men that they have value? Oh?
- 1:51:35Right, you can't do that because that means you're excluding women from something women
- 1:51:41and girls from something, which is probably why he's not suggesting it because he
- 1:51:45can't do it, and also because Andrew Tait does it, so we can't
- 1:51:51do what he does because that makes us like him. I'm making this video
- 1:51:58because I think I've got a days and shut up asking the rock questions.
- 1:52:00And I think that these ares where are you going, what you do,
- 1:52:03who you with, how it feels those before getting all right? None of
- 1:52:14this. Boys and men are told that they are valueless and that there is
- 1:52:20no way that they can earn value, and in fact, that their contributions
- 1:52:25to society are a net loss for women. Okay, this is the crap
- 1:52:30they're told. And I know there's plenty of men will say, while I'm
- 1:52:34a man, I'm an island on to myself, I just I just tough
- 1:52:39it out. Well, what about the boys? This is what they're told,
- 1:52:42This is what they grow up believing about themselves. Instead of saying,
- 1:52:48before you get enticed by somebody who says you have value, like, why
- 1:52:55don't we just say that they have value or that they have the means to
- 1:52:58earn value unique to men, like instead of just doing this, why don't
- 1:53:04we just call out the hatred. Like you see what I'm saying, Brian,
- 1:53:08It's like, you know, men and boys exist in a hal of
- 1:53:13bullets. Well, why don't we Why don't we call that out? Why
- 1:53:16don't we say that's wrong? You know, why don't we just say,
- 1:53:20yeah, that we shouldn't be doing that, Like he's he's no. We
- 1:53:26Now we need to follow this twelve step plan to dealing with the society that
- 1:53:31why should boys have to do this? Like this is being forced by a
- 1:53:39society that's promoting hatred of men and boys. Why should they have to do
- 1:53:45this? Now, I'm not saying that it's necessarily I mean, obviously we
- 1:53:47have to deal with the world that exists until we can turn those machine guns
- 1:53:51off. So yeah, dig trenches, learn the discipline to avoid getting sniped.
- 1:53:58All that's necessary. But we should never forget that there shouldn't be machine
- 1:54:02guns in the first place. There shouldn't be mortar in the first place.
- 1:54:08Boys shouldn't be living on enemy behind enemy lines. They should be living in
- 1:54:14a world that cherishes them, that doesn't say that they're part of the problem.
- 1:54:19You know, they should be living in a world that recognizes the unique
- 1:54:23contribution that boys give to the to the world through their risk taking, through
- 1:54:28their innovation, through the way that they approach the world. When we need
- 1:54:32that as humans, we need boys. That's the messages they should be given,
- 1:54:40you know. And I yet, like I said, yes, we
- 1:54:42need to make a trench because those people manning the the manning the machine gun
- 1:54:47nest, they aren't gonna stop, you know. And they aren't gonna stop
- 1:54:50bombing boys and men. They aren't gonna stop. So we do need to
- 1:54:55do protective things, and we do need to take action. But like I
- 1:54:58said, we should never forget get that this shouldn't be happening in the first
- 1:55:01place, and that a society that turns its men and boys into its enemy
- 1:55:08does not deserve them. It doesn't deserve their commitment, it doesn't deserve their
- 1:55:13investment, it doesn't deserve their loyalty, it doesn't deserve anything from them.
- 1:55:25All right, Okay, that's okay. I'm trying not to talk that much
- 1:55:30because the A scene switcher will pick me up and it'll switch needlessly. So
- 1:55:38yeah, it's okay, it's okay, all right, let's go back to
- 1:55:40the video. I think is hopefully, hopefully better applies to masculinity than whatever
- 1:55:48the ell is being stepped up in the line. All right, compass elvis.
- 1:55:53It's like, what do you frick did? This is exactly the same
- 1:55:58as saying, well, men have a suicide crisis, Well, how have
- 1:56:00you thought about going to therap or dur Why aren't you guys talk about your
- 1:56:04feelings? Why do you want? Why are you killing yourself instead? Do
- 1:56:08you just hate women because you just don't want to do things that women do?
- 1:56:12Like putting it back on men is exactly what we already do, right,
- 1:56:19and and honestly, you just completely just completely jump over the one thing
- 1:56:25that Andrew Tate is doing right if he's doing it, which is saying men
- 1:56:30and boys have their own inherent value and you need to change that otherwise you're
- 1:56:40just gonna get more of the same. He can't be the only one who
- 1:56:43says that, Well, yes, I guess he is, because they want
- 1:56:46to say that. The only people who say that men and boys have value
- 1:56:51are convicted sex offenders. Great, so they can poison that well and they
- 1:56:59don't have to wreck this is important. Did you see what I mean?
- 1:57:01He's like to go there is to completely dismiss it. You, Yes,
- 1:57:05you did see that because you mentioned it yourself. I apologize, Brian,
- 1:57:11Sorry, I saw it, I knew it. I got a super chat
- 1:57:15or rumble rant. I want to read real quick before it disappears. So,
- 1:57:21yeah, it's been kind of quiet. Well there's an old super child
- 1:57:25from before too, but Nova fan gave us a dollar thank you, Noba
- 1:57:28Fan twenty one and says it's so infuriating. He acts like feminist man hating
- 1:57:32propaganda didn't exist throughout all of the twentieth century media until online social media and
- 1:57:38take showed up. Yeah, I know, it's like it's like acting like
- 1:57:41all this stuff exists in a vacuum and he's noticing it. And I wonder
- 1:57:45if he's not just like really new to this and he's just like, Wow,
- 1:57:48look at all this woman hatred out here. I better stop it.
- 1:57:51Oh, it looks like men have problems. If I address men's problems,
- 1:57:56if I if I what is it? If I address women's problem but disguise
- 1:58:03it as my own cooking as men's problems, then then people will listen to
- 1:58:08me and I will be successful in my ultimate goal, which is essentially looking
- 1:58:12out for women. Yep, because that's the only thing that's not happening.
- 1:58:17Truthless you you slide devil m hm sly, it's like it's like the steam
- 1:58:26Hams thing, but it's like hiding. It's like turning, you know,
- 1:58:31like hiding feminist activism in caring about men and also stopping men from following Tate.
- 1:58:39I guess so all right anyway, well, honestly, I don't think
- 1:58:42it's stopping men from following Tate. It's stopping men from recognizing that their desire
- 1:58:46to have value or a system of earning it, a clear system of earning
- 1:58:50it is legitimate, like literally, like I think that's the payload. Andrew
- 1:58:57Tate says that men and boys are have value. Oh he but he's he's
- 1:59:01this awful, horrible, ultimate, ultimate monster thing. So so let's let's
- 1:59:06let's not have to deal with that, because that's really that's really the problem.
- 1:59:12Like I think that's the big the big sticking point is can you say
- 1:59:18that men and boys have their own value, either they have it or they
- 1:59:24have their own way of their own way, unique to them, their own
- 1:59:28value proposition that only they have. Can you say that? And if you
- 1:59:34can't say that, you're not part of the solution. And he doesn't want
- 1:59:40to recognize that because he's not I don't think he's capable of doing it.
- 1:59:45Okay, let's keep going, all right, and let's guy throw them say
- 1:59:54compass. First question is where you going? What direction? Roughly? Do
- 1:59:58you want you a lot to be headed this? It feels like do you
- 2:00:00remember that corporate website that we went through about talking to boys? Does this
- 2:00:06not feel like this? Yeah? Yeah, maybe that's where Maybe that's where
- 2:00:15he's getting his info and he's sort of repackaging it. I just had that
- 2:00:18feeling wash over me. And basically this is this is boys. Don't go
- 2:00:25to people who think, who say that you have any kind of inherent value,
- 2:00:28continue to believe that you have to do more work and and nobody else
- 2:00:33has to do anything, not even stop the relentless tale of hatred. Okay,
- 2:00:42all right? The only thing And sometimes questions I have to come useless
- 2:00:45because they're more intimidating than they were alternatively maps of meaning no, you can't
- 2:00:51do that. That's Jordan Peterson. He's basically the same as the entertained.
- 2:00:56They are identical. Essentially, do you want to call in life? So,
- 2:01:01Frankie, is the need to have a specific answer, but a general
- 2:01:06answer. Yeah, I'm roughly headed north. I think kind of takes that
- 2:01:11pressure off. When I think about this, I sort of imagine that I
- 2:01:14am on a bicycle riding through the desert trying to follow a north Star.
- 2:01:17In that scenario, there's no pressure to perfect to die. They want to
- 2:01:26die. Don't do that. Do not go into a wilderness area just with
- 2:01:30a vague direction. Freaking good lord. No, I'm just saying, just
- 2:01:36just psa, don't do this thing. That's insane. People need to respect
- 2:01:43mother nature a lot more than they do. You're still there, Brian,
- 2:01:47Yeah, I'm just yeah, I'm just looking at the chat and waiting.
- 2:01:53Shall we continue? Guys, send in a super chow. This is getting
- 2:01:56a little eerie. I mean, surely you like this topic, So go
- 2:01:59to feed the badger. Com slash just the tip and tell us what you
- 2:02:00think. Wait, actually, I will check and make sure that nothing is
- 2:02:05hitting the uh like a barrier, some kind like a barrier like I want
- 2:02:12to make sure that there's there's no further clydes that are hitting the electric fence.
- 2:02:20I'm sorry, guys, I don't even know why that happened. Let
- 2:02:26me see nope, nope, So you guys send in those super chows because
- 2:02:30it should be fine com slash just the tip no that we we we should
- 2:02:36read that one. Actually, you know what, I'm gonna read that one
- 2:02:39because because the guy Clyde sent also sent the superchow in, apparently we missed
- 2:02:46it, and it's a fairly substantial one. So calling himself feedor Ivanovitch du
- 2:02:53Clova tucklove giving us fifty dollars last month or actually a coupleths ago. I
- 2:03:00know people consider me a bad man. Let them. I don't care a
- 2:03:02straw about anyone but those I love. But those I love I love so
- 2:03:06that I would give my life for them, and the others i'd throttle if
- 2:03:10you if they stood in my way. I have an adored, a priceless
- 2:03:13mother, and two or three friends you among them. And as for the
- 2:03:15rest, I only care about them in so far as they are harmful and
- 2:03:18useful, and most of them are harmful, especially the women. Yes,
- 2:03:23dear boy, I have met loving, noble, high minded men, but
- 2:03:26I have not yet met any woman, countess or cooks who are not venal.
- 2:03:30I have not yet met that divine purity and devotion I look for in
- 2:03:33women. If I have found such as one, I would give my life
- 2:03:36for her, But those gestures and contempt. And believe me, if I
- 2:03:40still value my life, it is only because I still hope to meet such
- 2:03:43a divine creature who will regenerate, priorify and elevate me. You but you
- 2:03:47don't understand it. I believe that's probably a quote from War and Peace.
- 2:03:57That makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah, okay, all
- 2:04:02right, let's get back to this. I guess I'm going to get myself
- 2:04:06a glass of water. This is going and I'm talking a lot. Yeah,
- 2:04:10I'm going to play some more of this and just be quiet. Takes
- 2:04:13out that barrier to entry. And also, because it's a bisclere, every
- 2:04:16bit of movement counts. It doesn't matter if you're peddling super fast or it
- 2:04:18just kind of relaxed, as long as you're not doing nothing do I for
- 2:04:23So, if you are looking for an actionable here or an example, I
- 2:04:26think one helpful way to think about this would be in categories categories of life,
- 2:04:30you know, health, money, work, whatever happens today. Use
- 2:04:32myself as an example here. So sobriety that used to be a big north
- 2:04:36Star. But when I thought about it as it's either one or the other,
- 2:04:40I could never really make progress because if I slipped up, I'm like
- 2:04:44and the worst. But when I started thinking about it as a compass,
- 2:04:46like I'm headed towards sobriety, I'm headed away from addiction, then I knew
- 2:04:50that if I slipped up, it didn't mean that I had to give up.
- 2:04:53It just meant that I had to course correct and keep making progress.
- 2:04:57So yeah, comp Okay, again, I don't see how this is unique
- 2:05:04or crazy, but I mean, these are all is it? This is
- 2:05:08gonna be really obvious. I don't know if I's not obvious. Okay,
- 2:05:13I'm going to say something. We're talking about a society that denies any unique
- 2:05:17value to men and boys, either inherently or giving them some means by which
- 2:05:20to develop some kind of unique value position. So how does anything any of
- 2:05:27this actually do that. The answer is it doesn't so far. It's just
- 2:05:31generic life advice that you give to like a sixteen year old who has to
- 2:05:34fill out a letter to apply to a college. I want to. I
- 2:05:41want to. I want to navigate my boy at boot by the north Star.
- 2:05:45You know, it's crap like that, Like it's all generic. Is
- 2:05:49this any different than what you'd say to a girl? So how does this
- 2:05:54help boys need to develop a unique value proposition? Answers? It doesn't so
- 2:06:00far. See if there's anything else, like, is any of this unique
- 2:06:04to go? And that's the thing. He does not want to recognize anything
- 2:06:09unique to men and boys, So he's not actually answering answering the issue.
- 2:06:15I mean, even though he doesn't want to recognize anything unique to men and
- 2:06:18boys, society sure as hell wants to make men and boys feel like they
- 2:06:23are worthless. You know that they drain worth from society. All right,
- 2:06:31let's keep going, yes ha haha. Oh, he's for outlets to understand
- 2:06:38outlets. Let's have a look at outbursts. He is one of my favorite
- 2:06:41phrases, idle hands of the devil's plaything. If you do not give yourself
- 2:06:44a task, the bad things in you will find a task, and it
- 2:06:46want to be pretty. For this, I'd like to imagine that some of
- 2:06:49the less than desirable traits within me little devils man, and I have to
- 2:06:54be busy in order to use them, otherwise they will use me. So
- 2:06:58risk taking adrenaline junkie is something very close to home. This has the potential
- 2:07:01to be quite dangerous. If we do nothing about this trait, it'll find
- 2:07:04a way to manifest. If your hands are idle, then I yeah,
- 2:07:08you might find the outburst comes in the form of reckless, drugged up driving.
- 2:07:12I personally did. I yeah, awful, But also idle hands could
- 2:07:17be engaged hands. So putting this trait to work might see you get into
- 2:07:23skating, climbing, surfing. This stuff might seem kind of obvious, but
- 2:07:26I think the reason that I wanted to include it was back to Christine Emma.
- 2:07:29She was saying that a lot of the men that she's interviewed feel as
- 2:07:30though they are constantly bombarded by messages of what they shouldn't do, Like you
- 2:07:34have this trait, well, definitely don't do this as opposed to messages of
- 2:07:39what you can do. So if, for example, you're a bit of
- 2:07:41a COMI were the messages coming from? Who's telling men what they that they
- 2:07:45shouldn't be doing? Shit? And how is it that boys need to be
- 2:07:53told what they can do when they're supposed to be what did Jermaine Greer say?
- 2:07:58You should be able to define yourself off. I mean within the ground,
- 2:08:03within the realm of not doing anything illegal. Right, you should have
- 2:08:09the right to define who you are. And so it's interesting how he's now
- 2:08:16talking. He's not talking about what is unique about men and boys and the
- 2:08:20value, the unique value that men and boys offer. He's now talking about
- 2:08:24what they should and shouldn't do. Basically, Okay, I also claiming to
- 2:08:31be against that thing. So interesting, interesting that and fascinating. Enjoy a
- 2:08:39little bit. Eh, I get told don't do that in social situations,
- 2:08:43and that would be good advice, But it's only so helpful to be told
- 2:08:46what not today. What you can do with those sorts of traits is become
- 2:08:50a brilliant fricking journalist. Oh my god, we need them, we need
- 2:08:54them. Aggress it defliably right. If you ignore it, if you ignore
- 2:09:03the fact that you might have that freaking file, you might find you stop
- 2:09:05punching people and punching walls. But if instead of ignoring it, we chatt
- 2:09:11it, and that excess energy my annual freaking black belt dude, this is
- 2:09:15a specific devil. But okay, right, no, it's really it does
- 2:09:20sort of have that feeling, don't you think of that, that PSA that
- 2:09:24we went through for boys. Yeah, but I mean it assumes that,
- 2:09:28like boys are just gonna punch people in the face, like just randomly.
- 2:09:33I'm sorry, but they're not in Antifa. They're just mostly just regular kids.
- 2:09:37Maybe stop encouraging women to encourage men to punch other men on behalf of
- 2:09:43women. Maybe wait, wait, we can do something about that. And
- 2:09:46I don't know, this stuff is really obvious. I can't really say anything
- 2:09:50to it because it's just really obvious. Shit Like, oh, you you
- 2:09:52feel aggressive, Well maybe you should go to the gym. Oh wow,
- 2:09:56what a crazy idea that I never thought of before. Well, and again,
- 2:10:00we're talking about trying to I mean, let's bring it back to brass
- 2:10:03tacks. We're talking about a society that expresses that men are worthless basically,
- 2:10:09And does any of this actually counter that message? No? No, it
- 2:10:15just offers men a way to like distract themselves without destroying themselves. But it
- 2:10:20doesn't solve anything, Like it doesn't. And again, like he has a
- 2:10:24partner, Like, I mean, really we should we should see what happens
- 2:10:28when and if they get divorced right or break up? He has a partner.
- 2:10:35So he has somebody who's telling him that he's, at least by her
- 2:10:39presence, that he has value to a woman, to someone else. Right,
- 2:10:43what happens when that's taken away for him? You're gonna wonder about that
- 2:10:48guy he has his friend that commits suicide. What was the circumstance? Was
- 2:10:52it? Because he lives in a society that says that men have no value
- 2:10:54specifically to women but also to society, and that he was in a relationship
- 2:11:00it went south or it was really bad. He lost that sense of value,
- 2:11:05and then he was left with the tsunami of all of the negativity of
- 2:11:09all the messaging in society which he may not even have consciously but have internalized
- 2:11:16that he is valueless and he's just a burden. Right, So what happens
- 2:11:20to this guy if he loses his shield, which is his wife or partner?
- 2:11:26Okay, And nothing he's saying is solving that problem, you know,
- 2:11:33and you know, just recognizing that men earn value for society, like through
- 2:11:39using the Chinese example, the cultural achievements, that is a shield against that
- 2:11:46sense of worthlessness even if there isn't a woman in your life. Right,
- 2:11:52the recognition that you are valued for your contributions for some other way, that
- 2:11:58you're not a society. But where is that in all of this that that
- 2:12:05specifically needs is what needs to be countered, And I need to I need
- 2:12:09to get this out because this is the problem. He is saying, Okay,
- 2:12:15this is the problem, but he's not actually offering any solutions for the
- 2:12:18problem. He's the problem is a society that says that men and boys are
- 2:12:22worthless. Okay, The solution is for men and boys not to take that
- 2:12:28message, is to manage that message in them. Not. The solution is
- 2:12:33for us to stop saying that and to start thinking about how men are valuable
- 2:12:39and boys are valuable. No, that's not the solution. The solution is
- 2:12:45for men and boys to accept that situation and manage the negative fallout of that.
- 2:12:54See what I'm saying, Like he's this, none of this is actually
- 2:12:58addressing the problem. It's it's saying this is the problem, but actually it's
- 2:13:01men. It's men and boys' response to the problem that's the problem. Okay,
- 2:13:07yep, yep, that's what it is. That So I'm saying,
- 2:13:11it's the same old song. Should I play some more of this? Yes?
- 2:13:16I'm happy I have water. I also think it's probably one that a
- 2:13:20lot of less know, self destructive, compulsive, prone to getting tunnel vision
- 2:13:24around points, you know, number go up. If it's used against you,
- 2:13:28this might look like turning you into prey for the gambling industry or for
- 2:13:31crypto pints. We've all seen this happen obviously. You know that Robin Hood
- 2:13:35Wall Street bet dround and I think that something as high as ninety percent of
- 2:13:37the people who've got preyed upon were men. Now that's used against you,
- 2:13:45is used by you got freaking ice bars and endurance sports. There is self
- 2:13:48destruction in there, there is number go up in there, there's tunnel vision,
- 2:13:52there's a I don't know, self respect. I'm aware that no actual
- 2:13:56recognition of the problem. None. What's so for? Just yep, this
- 2:14:01is a problem, But what's the real problem. What we're gonna focus on
- 2:14:05in the problem is men's response to the problem as the problem. Okay,
- 2:14:15I don't think it's gonna get better than this. I think he's I wonder
- 2:14:26if he's he's cribbing from home math with this stuff, or maybe he was
- 2:14:28just one of the original ones who did this. Okay, outlets, something
- 2:14:33for your body, take great pencia of sweat to the great pancia. So,
- 2:14:37I don't know, do exercise, something that facilitates mastery, competence,
- 2:14:41to side quest, potential career, something for your mind, Please love yourself.
- 2:14:48Okay, again, you're asking boys to be equivalent to the Buddha.
- 2:14:54No, it's not gonna work. Again, the problem is a society,
- 2:15:00like we started with with the whole thing about what society is telling men and
- 2:15:03boys you're worthless? Right, And now we're at here, and yeah,
- 2:15:09sure men and boys should follow these things. They should like do things for
- 2:15:13themselves like this. But at the same time as you need to deal with
- 2:15:20the actual problem, you see what I'm saying. Yeah, And maybe the
- 2:15:26way that you deal with the actual problem is give someone high profile who cares
- 2:15:31about men and boys and is an Andrew Tait? Who could that be?
- 2:15:35I don't know, Peterson? No, okay, he's just as bad,
- 2:15:43good lord? Yeah, okay, cool, running illustration? Gently? Is
- 2:15:48any of this different? Is this? Is this any any of this different
- 2:15:52than what you'd say to a girl? Really channel I don't know, less
- 2:16:01than desirable trait. Then a simple exercise will be thinking about the last time
- 2:16:05that you felt shame or last time you had an outburst, and then trying
- 2:16:07to understand what trait or what thing inside you might have caused that, and
- 2:16:11how that fire could be turned into fuel. Here's a few examples, just
- 2:16:16trait to outlet. So yeah, what you do? All right, let's
- 2:16:20look at the next letter D dream team. Here's a fun stat it's not
- 2:16:26fun. Forty nine percent of men feel more depressed than they admit to people
- 2:16:31in their life. And in nineteen ninety here I was born roughly three.
- 2:16:37Interesting, Well, look at his dream team. I don't think there's a
- 2:16:41single man on it. Let's find out. Let's see if maybe i'll go
- 2:16:48into detail a little bit. Those friends now and I swear it's not my
- 2:16:52phone. Listen to this, listeners, Okay, One in five fathers don't
- 2:16:58live with his children. In twenty fourteen, more young men we're living or
- 2:17:01young men we're living with their parents than with a wife or a partner.
- 2:17:03Apparently, even many men who are married are not ideal mates. Wives or
- 2:17:07twice as likely to initiate divorces as husbands. Must be men's fault. Must
- 2:17:13be men's fault, because women is perfect. Well, hey, maybe that's
- 2:17:18the thing. Maybe that's the thing you could give men. Women are so
- 2:17:22perfect that men actually have to strive to achieve to feel like they are capable
- 2:17:28of being equal to women. Men. We could give that to men,
- 2:17:31the fallout of being so imperfect relative to women. Okay, all right,
- 2:17:43Dame the sand. But yeah, can't left alone. You gotta have people
- 2:17:46that you gotta be able to feel to you, especially interaction. It's like
- 2:17:48oxygen man, anyone that you would feel comfortable admitting at least a few problems
- 2:17:52to you. I think that who in your life you would be emotionally honest
- 2:17:54to you emuchally vulnerable to you think that one of those women have a mask
- 2:17:58on? Are you freaking kidding me? Okay, no, okay, so
- 2:18:05like what No, those are all women as far as I can tell,
- 2:18:09Yeah, it looks like it looks like it. His entire dream team is
- 2:18:13a harrible women. What a surprise. Oh he's he actually tells you who
- 2:18:18they are. Let's play Let's play it again. Maybe there's a transsexual there.
- 2:18:31Is It quite common for men in New Zealand to have Karen haircuts.
- 2:18:37I don't know, Maybe it's just a bad drawing. Yeah, it could
- 2:18:39be just a bad drawn Why does the one have a freaking mask on?
- 2:18:43Okay? Weird? All right, well maybe those two are men. Perhaps
- 2:18:50that mates, but it's Australia, so who knows, yeah, who knows?
- 2:18:54Might be women. Okay, all right, there's only a little left.
- 2:18:58We can get through this. Well, I find to be a million
- 2:19:01times better than just messaging. I believe the term is synchronous conversation, like
- 2:19:05when you are both sharing the same timeline. That's when you get all those
- 2:19:16that's pne Brown quite too easier, mind, that's kind of what she does
- 2:19:20so well. Social media has given us this idea that we should all have
- 2:19:22a positive friends, when in reality, if we have one or two really
- 2:19:26good friends, we are lucky. Lucky man. If you can't think of
- 2:19:30anybody that you would talk, oh god, you know, you know guys,
- 2:19:35you lonely, just get friends? Have you ever thought about that?
- 2:19:41This guy's got really like bleeding edge commentary and advice. You know, do
- 2:19:48do healthy things, don't be violent, try not to get addicted to drugs
- 2:19:52or gambling, and make some friends. Wow, what a mind blowing concept.
- 2:19:58This, this It took us? How long to get through this twenty
- 2:20:01five minutes almost well, I'm enlightened. I can't wait to share this with
- 2:20:05my friends, tell the Hey, did you guys ever consider not being addicted
- 2:20:09to alcohol, gambling, or drugs or porn and maybe instead like walking and
- 2:20:16getting some sun and making friends and maybe just being a better person than the
- 2:20:20piece of shit you are. Now I just want to point out, like,
- 2:20:24again, let's go back to the beginning. Can you go back to
- 2:20:26the beginning? Like, wait, let's just before we do that check?
- 2:20:30No, no, I don't know. This is just the role models.
- 2:20:33I okay, fine, we'll finish it. Finish it, Okay, I
- 2:20:39don't I'll keep my freaking oh. If there's just nobody in your life to
- 2:20:43fill that role es, Firstly, I'm so sorry that's gonna be so freaking
- 2:20:46isolating, especially because most people can't, you know, for talk therapy,
- 2:20:48or some people will find it doesn't even work. So if you are in
- 2:20:52that camp, I don't know what the next move would be, like working
- 2:20:56on yourself? All right, next move? How about this? No mean
- 2:21:01to to my own horm This really isn't. But if you are in that
- 2:21:05situation. Badger Nation dot online at least you can come and chat with us
- 2:21:09really and me, maybe also Brian when he's doing his jojo streams. So
- 2:21:15badger Nation dot Online we got people there. They'll say hi. They have
- 2:21:20similar issues that they're dealing with, and they have similar like things that they
- 2:21:24enjoy. So if you are feeling lonely, just come and hang out there
- 2:21:31if that's If that's something you need, just just putting it out there.
- 2:21:35We also do a lot of the resources for the show in Badger Nation Badgination
- 2:21:39dot online. So if you've ever wanted to get any of the the sources,
- 2:21:45they're there. It's easier for me to put them there. And uh
- 2:21:50and yeah, if you want to help out getting sources or or suggesting new
- 2:21:54ideas to to cover, that's the best way to do it. Again,
- 2:21:58that's badger Nation dot Online. You don't have to be alone, you don't
- 2:22:01have to even say anything. You can just pop in and lurk and just
- 2:22:03know that there's people and activity happening, and we do care about men and
- 2:22:09we think that they should be valued. So there you go. We're all
- 2:22:13we're like, we're just like Andrew Tate. Okay, all right, all
- 2:22:26right, so okay, I think this is to think that you important.
- 2:22:35Isn't that so talleic creatiquiet? Evens have voids and you need to fill voids.
- 2:22:39I didn't have a dad to feel that malvoid. So can I look
- 2:22:43at some of these role models really quick? All right, I'm not gonna
- 2:22:46be able to play because of the auto change thing. But it's like RuPaul
- 2:22:52uh fucking Anthony Bourdain, Kermit the frog. Okay, it's no easy green.
- 2:23:00Oh no, it's the puppeteer, the guy, yeah, Jim Henson,
- 2:23:05h the guy from Andre whatever. I don't know, Yeah, I
- 2:23:13don't know. Whatever. I think he's just being cheeky by putting these like
- 2:23:16random people's faces. But again I don't know. It's is obvious shit,
- 2:23:20Like I don't know what to say. It's just obvious shit to me.
- 2:23:24So it's not deep. It's not deep. And the thing is there are
- 2:23:30people still saying like there are people online, mostly feminist women, telling men
- 2:23:35who they can and cannot have as a role model, while also tearing down
- 2:23:39their role models and replacing them with their own role models, which are not
- 2:23:43even really great about. Like do you know about the female basketball player that's
- 2:23:48really popular right now? What's her name again, Kately Clark. Kately Clark
- 2:23:52is like putting the WNBA on the map, and the women hate her.
- 2:23:58And she is literally like what a female role model, like a female athletic
- 2:24:05role model, should be. She is all of those things. She's good
- 2:24:07at what she does. She makes people want to watch people play girls play
- 2:24:11basketball, which is crazy, and she's good at it. And she's a
- 2:24:15team player. She's got like sportsmanship and shit, so at least compared to
- 2:24:22the other women on the WNBA. And but my point is not that I'm
- 2:24:26not putting her on a platform. My point is she is a role model
- 2:24:31that you would think is some that women would like. But they hate her.
- 2:24:37They are jealous of her. It's like a very hostile environment on the
- 2:24:41WNBA if you're Caiton Clark. Which is funny because it just shows that I
- 2:24:45don't know what the idea of a role model for men and a role model
- 2:24:50for women seem to be very different things. Women have role models like Corla
- 2:24:54Deville and Maleficent and you know, uh, Frozen and Jezebel and Lilith.
- 2:25:03Those are their role models, right Hillary Clinton? Men, they they they
- 2:25:11like to see, you know, they like, I don't know, like
- 2:25:13guys are excellent at what they do. You know, Haya Miyazaki or or
- 2:25:20Michael Jordan. When I was growing up, he was like quintessential, like
- 2:25:24everybody wanted to be like Mike. He made a song about it. But
- 2:25:30anyway, should I finishing off? All right, we'll finish off. I
- 2:25:35just switched freaking seeing Dave Chappelle. That's where I'm gravitated to. Was just
- 2:25:41asking yourself, who do you admire and what? So here I got you
- 2:25:43out what you mentally ate. Obviously looking at all days, paval, not
- 2:25:48every single thing about every single one you like Dave Chappelle. Yeah, Dave
- 2:25:52Chappelle's okay, mm hmm. He's funny, He's got some shit he's gotta
- 2:25:58like rustle with, but he's okay. Yeah, But they all inspire me
- 2:26:05in some sort of way. Finally we get to e earned, not expected.
- 2:26:11Yeah, this is how it feels. If I ever had to disteal
- 2:26:13everything that I have ever learned ever into one piece of actionable advice about life,
- 2:26:18it would be this, earn your own self respect. Act in a
- 2:26:20way that does that. There are plenty of metrics we can chase in life,
- 2:26:24you know, money, followers, records. But underneath all of that,
- 2:26:26I found that the one metric that dictates how I feel about it all
- 2:26:30is how I feel about me. Do I act like someone I would respect?
- 2:26:33Life's good? But making a decision like do I really want to talk
- 2:26:35about masculinity on the internet even though it's so like spicy? Well, which
- 2:26:39answer would lead to more self respect? I am going to respect myself for
- 2:26:43making this video. So Okay for you, good for you. I don't
- 2:26:50think you really put your neck out there that much. But all right,
- 2:26:54sure, yeah, let's go. Let's go back to the beginning because this
- 2:26:56is the actual problem. Let's remind ourselves what the problem is now that we've
- 2:27:01gone through his whole solution finally, not the beginning of the beginning, but
- 2:27:05where he shows all the ship that men have to deal with. Ok,
- 2:27:09here we go. It must be so hot to be young right now?
- 2:27:15Full stop? Why are men and boys struggling? And what should we do
- 2:27:18about Itulo left want to define traditional masculinity as toxic. We need men for
- 2:27:28times life way to kill themselves, sexist, rapist piece of shit. Well
- 2:27:35it's worse, like he's really soft pedaling it like it's it's much worse than
- 2:27:41that there is. Again, the problem is that we live in a society
- 2:27:48in which we cannot recognize any unique contribution that men and boys give to society
- 2:27:52in any legitimate context. And we by legitimate I mean academic, school media,
- 2:28:00that kind of thing, any kind of institutional context. We cannot recognize
- 2:28:05that men bring something to the table just by being men, right, and
- 2:28:09that means that boys, men and boys or boys are raised in a culture
- 2:28:15where they are told these things that they are worthless and they offer nothing,
- 2:28:18that they have nothing of value for women. And they need to know where
- 2:28:26they are looking for, what their purpose is, who they are, how
- 2:28:31they gain a value proposition in our society. And that is the problem.
- 2:28:37And his solution is not to get society maybe say well, maybe our society
- 2:28:45shouldn't be saying that boys and men are worthless. You know, his solution
- 2:28:50is apparently well, first of all, it basically is no different than what
- 2:28:56you'd say to a girl. So it's not developing a unique value proposition for
- 2:28:58men and boys. But it's also just putting the onus back on boys.
- 2:29:05They need to develop a positive sense of self in under fire without recognizing that
- 2:29:13society has no right to be doing this in the first place, and that
- 2:29:18they deserve some kind of sense of value, some kind of at least a
- 2:29:22sense of how to develop value, and that other societies have successfully explained this
- 2:29:26to their boys and men, and they have been successful societies like Chinese society
- 2:29:33is actually pretty successful on the whole. Right, But that none of what
- 2:29:37he's saying actually solves the problem. It doesn't even really address it. It
- 2:29:43actually basically says, well, this is the problem, but the real problem
- 2:29:46is men's response to the problem. Men and boys response to the problem.
- 2:29:50So we're going to solve that. No, that's not how it works.
- 2:29:56First of all, one, our society isn't the wrong. It doesn't matter
- 2:30:03how many people say it's right, how many people do it, how many
- 2:30:05women agree with it, that doesn't matter. It is absolutely one hundred percent
- 2:30:11wrong to say that men have no unique value proposition, especially when we rely
- 2:30:16on it to keep the lights on right. That is one hundred percent wrong.
- 2:30:20It is one hundred percent wrong to say that boys have no value,
- 2:30:22okay, especially when they're going to grow up to most likely be the men
- 2:30:26who keep the lights on right. That is wrong. That is not something
- 2:30:31a society has the right to do. Right, they are our society is
- 2:30:37at war with its own men, in the masculinity of its own men.
- 2:30:41Okay, fine, and we gotta make We want to make a space where
- 2:30:46that war isn't, where they aren't being shelled, where they aren't being shot.
- 2:30:50And then when we have that space, then they can start, boys
- 2:30:56can start developing a positive sense of self once they're out of the life line
- 2:31:00of fire. And it is not a failure of men or boys if they
- 2:31:03need to get out of the line of fire in order to develop a positive
- 2:31:07sense of self. Like, seriously, this is ridiculous. And finally,
- 2:31:11this man has a sense of value because he has a female partner. He
- 2:31:18has someone he knows that he is at least part somewhat because of her presence
- 2:31:22in his life. He is valued by a woman. The real test of
- 2:31:28everything that he's gone through and all of the wisdom and the coping skills is
- 2:31:33when he loses her. Now, I don't want him to lose his partner
- 2:31:39having seen her. I am going to add a when to that if when,
- 2:31:45and if he does, that's going to be the test, because he
- 2:31:50will no longer have a source of value. Yeah, all right, So
- 2:31:58I got a superchow and asume for chat. So Richard Beerre gave us.
- 2:32:03No, I just got one super child and one super Chat. Richard Pierre
- 2:32:07gave us five bucks and says, it is this guy in the same league
- 2:32:11as Manifestel or Hannah Cox. No, he doesn't. Nobody's in the league
- 2:32:16of a Manifestel. Yeah, it's a whole other level. And then I
- 2:32:20got a whole other level. Yeah. Then I got a super chat from
- 2:32:24Albertnata Retro for two dollars Canadian and he says, don't forget Amy Dunn,
- 2:32:28Brian the hero of Gone Girl. How could I forget that? All right?
- 2:32:35So you think that's crazy, you should watch Midsummer Holy shit. That's
- 2:32:43it. That's it, So we can go to the Patron show now,
- 2:32:46all right, okay, well, thank you all for joining. If you
- 2:32:50want to send a message after the show is overfeed the Badger dot com slash
- 2:32:52just a tip. It was a slow show today. Do you guys not
- 2:32:56like this subject? I got another rumble ran too. Oh okay, No,
- 2:33:00I don't know. Maybe it's just I don't know. All right,
- 2:33:01So Nova fan twenty one give us another dollar. Thank you, Noba fan,
- 2:33:05and says, looking at his past five years of videos, he seems
- 2:33:09to have switched from being an artist to a life advice grifter. Thank you
- 2:33:13for that. I think grifter is a little bit of an overused term,
- 2:33:18but I do think that there are places where it applies. So maybe you're
- 2:33:20right. I don't know. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
- 2:33:24All right, that's it, so grifter, I mean, well, grifter
- 2:33:28statement a strong statement, but I mean, like I said, it might
- 2:33:31be true. I don't know. I think it's overused. I think he's
- 2:33:35just doesn't have he doesn't understand, or maybe he just doesn't realize what he's
- 2:33:39doing. See, the problem is men and boys are being shot at.
- 2:33:46Well, the real issue is that they're not bulletproof, according to him,
- 2:33:50No, the real problems that they're being shot at. Yes, maybe they
- 2:33:52have to dig a trench, fine, maybe they have to take action to
- 2:33:56protect themselves. Fine, But the real problem never ceases being that men and
- 2:34:01boys are under fire in this society. Like you can't, you can't get
- 2:34:07away from that. I sure as hell I'm not gonna let anyone get away
- 2:34:11from it, even even if it means like as this guy recognizes that,
- 2:34:16you know, our channel is never gonna get really big. I don't know,
- 2:34:18stay never, you know, because we like, honestly, that's not
- 2:34:24identifying an enemy when I say that, the real problem is that our society
- 2:34:28is, you know, at war with its men and boys. It's treating
- 2:34:33them like crap, it's not giving them any kinds basically saying that men and
- 2:34:37boys are the enemy. Well, that's what means when you say that men
- 2:34:41impress women, means they're the enemy. And you know when it's saying that,
- 2:34:46like that's the problem. Now, that's not really identifying a political group.
- 2:34:50It's just identifying it an attitude and a behavior, and we all need
- 2:34:54to stop it. Like we've we've all probably been at one point inclined towards
- 2:34:58that at Adam Tutor behavior. But we had to liquify it, we had
- 2:35:01to get rid of it. We're all responsible for it. We're all responsible
- 2:35:05for ending it, not just forcing blame on men and boys and saying,
- 2:35:09wow, we're trying to shoot you, but you know you should become bulletproof.
- 2:35:13Why aren't you bulletproof? Like screw you? Like if you were any
- 2:35:18kind of man, you'd be bulletproof. Good lord. Anyway, once again,
- 2:35:24feed the badgery dot com slash just a tip if you want to send
- 2:35:26us a message. I got to stop hitting my mic and eventually feed the
- 2:35:31badgery dot com slash support if you want to support the show. All right,
