- 1:37Speaker 3: oh my goodness, the snow is actually starting to melt
- 1:39Speaker 3: a little bit. Coming up a little bit later on.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It's Restaurant Week here in Charleston. It kicks off today
- 1:44Speaker 3: and tomorrow. I say today and tomorrow because if your
- 1:47Speaker 3: favorite restaurant is closed today, as many are on Mondays,
- 1:50Speaker 3: then it will start for you tomorrow. Some will begin tonight, though.
- 1:54Speaker 3: We'll talk to Restaurant tour and one of the folks
- 1:55Speaker 3: associated with the Downtown Charleston Association, Kevin Madison, about restaurant
- 2:00Speaker 3: also Jason Huffman from American Prosperity standing by, and we'll
- 2:03Speaker 3: get into some things in the news as well. I
- 2:05Speaker 3: do want to start though, going to the newsroom bringing
- 2:07Speaker 3: in Jeff Jenkins with a recap of the testimony Friday
- 2:10Speaker 3: and the White Feather Lance Trild. Jeff, good morning, talk
- 2:13Speaker 3: about Friday in the courtroom.
- 2:14Speaker 5: Okay, so today, Dave, just we'll mention what's going on today.
- 2:19Speaker 5: So the defense could rest its case today, probably will
- 2:23Speaker 5: rest its case. They may have one or two more witnesses,
- 2:26Speaker 5: and then there might be a rebuttal witness coming up
- 2:29Speaker 5: for the prosecution, so we could have all testimony. Possibility
- 2:33Speaker 5: that all testimony will be in on this trial by
- 2:35Speaker 5: the end of the day today, and I think there's
- 2:37Speaker 5: an outside chance that we could get jury instructions and
- 2:40Speaker 5: closing arguments today. So it's possible that the jury could
- 2:43Speaker 5: get the case by the end of the day. If not,
- 2:45Speaker 5: that would happen tomorrow, I would think. And so the
- 2:49Speaker 5: defense continued to put on its case on Friday. Donald
- 2:53Speaker 5: Ray Lance, one of the defendants, testify in the morning.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Then the afternoon they had a forensic psychologist on the stand.
- 3:00Speaker 5: This was the defense and basically part of the defense's
- 3:03Speaker 5: case is these parents were, uh, you know, Jenny K.
- 3:06Speaker 5: Whitefeather and uh and Donald ray Lance were uh caring
- 3:11Speaker 5: for these kids, their adopted children.
- 3:13Speaker 2: UH.
- 3:13Speaker 5: And they were overwhelmed because of some of the behavior
- 3:18Speaker 5: of the oldest child.
- 3:19Speaker 3: UH.
- 3:20Speaker 5: And he was one of the two that was found
- 3:21Speaker 5: locked in the shed because of his struggles with mental health.
- 3:27Speaker 5: And so they put a forensic psychologist on the standard
- 3:29Speaker 5: basically testified yet you know, parents can become overwhelmed, uh,
- 3:33Speaker 5: and said some other things uh. Probably probably the key
- 3:36Speaker 5: part of the test.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Note.
- 3:37Speaker 5: The key part of the day was cross examination from
- 3:41Speaker 5: Madison Tuck, who's the Knaw County assistant prosecutors handling this case, uh,
- 3:46Speaker 5: to Donald ray Lance, and she questioned him directly, you
- 3:50Speaker 5: know about so you never locked these kids in the shed.
- 3:53Speaker 5: There are two locks on this shed, and you didn't
- 3:54Speaker 5: do that. You never withheld food from these kids and
- 3:58Speaker 5: just gave him peanut butter sandwichers or took away the sandwiches.
- 4:00Speaker 5: And so she and he his answers sometimes were long pauses,
- 4:07Speaker 5: not direct answers, kind of long answers. The judge, Judge
- 4:11Speaker 5: Mary Clareaker's had to step in a couple of times
- 4:12Speaker 5: and tell him to answer the question. So you know
- 4:15Speaker 5: that that may end up being, you know, key testimony.
- 4:19Speaker 5: We'll have to see obviously what the jury does. But
- 4:22Speaker 5: we're winding it down today. Jury could get it today.
- 4:25Speaker 5: If not today, they'll probably get it tomorrow.
- 4:27Speaker 3: That's what I was going to say. I mean, as
- 4:28Speaker 3: you said at the outset there, Jeff, today could be it.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I mean that's all indications are kind of kind of
- 4:33Speaker 3: pointing in that direction.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it is, and I think maybe one or two
- 4:37Speaker 5: defense witnesses left. If that, then a rebuttal witness, and
- 4:41Speaker 5: then you get then you get into the final stages
- 4:44Speaker 5: of the trial.
- 4:44Speaker 3: All right, of course we'll have if there's a decision today,
- 4:47Speaker 3: and even if there's not, we'll be covered and we
- 4:49Speaker 3: get folks in the courtroom. We'll have it on air
- 4:51Speaker 3: and online. Jeff, I appreciate you being here, man. Thanks

- 5:19Speaker 3: be getting a little later start the normal because this
- 5:22Speaker 3: is the year that the new governor is taking over.
- 5:24Speaker 3: That's generally what happens. Regular session set to start on
- 5:28Speaker 3: February eleventh. The Group of Americans for Prosperity will be
- 5:30Speaker 3: keeping an eye on things under the domas they always do.
- 5:32Speaker 3: The executive director of the group, Jason Huffman, is here now.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Good morning, Sarah, Welcome to the show, Dave, thanks for
- 5:37Speaker 3: having me on. Thank you for being here. And you
- 5:39Speaker 3: folks have released to the media and others something that
- 5:44Speaker 3: you're calling the Pathway to Prosperity Legislative Agenda with a
- 5:48Speaker 3: subtitle I guess back by a six figure spent long title.
- 5:52Speaker 3: So let's get to it. What are you folks looking
- 5:54Speaker 3: for in the session this year? And I could take it,
- 5:58Speaker 3: we can take it piece by piece. I guess let's
- 6:00Speaker 3: start with one part of it, which is regulatory reform.
- 6:02Speaker 3: What are you looking for in regulatory reform sure.
- 6:05Speaker 7: So every year since twenty eighteen, we've released a Pathway
- 6:07Speaker 7: to Prosperity legislative agenda. This year we anticipate given just
- 6:11Speaker 7: what a historic landscape we're in, with an overwhelming election
- 6:15Speaker 7: of Governor Patrick Morrissey, very many principal champions in the
- 6:19Speaker 7: state legislature, a lot of really bold reforms. This is
- 6:22Speaker 7: a roadmap to help principled lawmakers be able to make
- 6:25Speaker 7: the state a better place to live, work, and raise
- 6:27Speaker 7: a family. So, when we're talking about regulatory reform, a
- 6:30Speaker 7: lot of states don't have the rulemaking process that we
- 6:33Speaker 7: have currently. A lot of states have a situation where
- 6:36Speaker 7: agencies are just making law without any oversight from lawmakers.
- 6:40Speaker 7: Now that's not the case in West Virginia. It's great
- 6:42Speaker 7: that we have a rulemaking process, and we want to
- 6:44Speaker 7: beef up that process.
- 6:46Speaker 3: We want it so that when.
- 6:47Speaker 7: An agency rolls out a rule or a rag that
- 6:50Speaker 7: is going to cost the private economy over a million
- 6:53Speaker 7: dollars over four years, they have to tell lawmakers about that,
- 6:56Speaker 7: so that lawmakers are aware of this information and apply
- 6:59Speaker 7: additional scrutiny to that rulemaking process. It's called the Rains Act.
- 7:04Speaker 3: The Rains Act. Okay, again, we're talking with Jason Huffman
- 7:06Speaker 3: for Americans for Prosperity. I want to move on to
- 7:09Speaker 3: one part of this was to make health care more affordable.
- 7:12Speaker 7: Absolutely one of the major things that states can do
- 7:16Speaker 7: if they haven't done so already, and many of them have.
- 7:18Speaker 7: I think we're one of thirty five states that still
- 7:20Speaker 7: has certificate of need laws on the books. We want
- 7:24Speaker 7: to fully repeal all certificate and need laws. And Dave,
- 7:26Speaker 7: we've talked about this more, but explain I want to.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Jump in there. Explain what certificate of need is. I
- 7:30Speaker 3: know you have talked about it in the past, but
- 7:33Speaker 3: explain what certificate of need is.
- 7:35Speaker 7: So essentially, it was a thing that was set up
- 7:36Speaker 7: in the seventies. The federal government said that states had
- 7:38Speaker 7: to adopt it, so they all did. Since then, the
- 7:40Speaker 7: federal government has said, you know, doesn't matter if it's
- 7:43Speaker 7: a Department Justice under Republicans or Democrats, this is a
- 7:46Speaker 7: terrible idea. Please repeal it. In West Virginia hasn't done
- 7:49Speaker 7: so yet. Essentially, what certificate of need does? It allows
- 7:53Speaker 7: unelected bureaucrats to come into your community and say you
- 7:56Speaker 7: don't need that health care service. You don't need those
- 7:59Speaker 7: extra hot hospital bets, you don't need that new CT machine.
- 8:03Speaker 7: And so what we've seen is it's a huge detriment.
- 8:08Speaker 7: It drives up costs, it lowers the accessibility of healthcare.
- 8:13Speaker 7: And you know, all of the research, there's volumes and
- 8:15Speaker 7: volumes of research on this day. All of the data
- 8:18Speaker 7: suggests that there is no benefit to a certificate need
- 8:22Speaker 7: and we really need to repeal all of those laws
- 8:24Speaker 7: in West Virginia, and so that will be our top
- 8:25Speaker 7: priority in the.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Session you had Expanding educational freedom. That's a big that's
- 8:32Speaker 3: a big thing these days, talk about that. Sure.
- 8:34Speaker 7: So when we passed the law on twenty twenty one
- 8:36Speaker 7: to become the first state in the country to have
- 8:38Speaker 7: a universal education savings account, the Hope Scholarship, that law
- 8:42Speaker 7: contained to trigger and essentially what it says is that
- 8:45Speaker 7: in twenty twenty six, it will expand eligibility to all
- 8:49Speaker 7: school aged kids in the state. So forty thousand more
- 8:52Speaker 7: kids are going to be eligible for the Hope Scholarship
- 8:54Speaker 7: in twenty twenty six to enroll in that program and
- 8:56Speaker 7: have their tax dollars put in their parents' hands to
- 9:00Speaker 7: be able to choose the education that best suits their needs.
- 9:03Speaker 7: We want to make sure that expansion happens without incident,
- 9:06Speaker 7: and so that's something that we're prioritizing the session.
- 9:10Speaker 3: And supporting Governor Morrissey's economic agenda. I want to jump
- 9:14Speaker 3: in before I get you to explain that, because you, folks,
- 9:17Speaker 3: Americans for Prosperity, if I remember correctly, were one of
- 9:20Speaker 3: the first groups that endorsed now Governor Morrissey in that
- 9:23Speaker 3: crowded primary field last year in the Republican ticket. So
- 9:28Speaker 3: supporting Governor Morrissey's economic agenda. Talking about that, well.
- 9:32Speaker 7: I'll just say, you know, going back to the primary,
- 9:33Speaker 7: it was the most I think within recent memory competitive
- 9:37Speaker 7: primaries for the role of governor in the state. And
- 9:40Speaker 7: so I think, you know, Governor Morrissey won that primary,
- 9:44Speaker 7: he won the general very decidedly, and I think what
- 9:47Speaker 7: that tells us is that we have a mandate from
- 9:48Speaker 7: the people when it comes to bold policies that we
- 9:52Speaker 7: know are going to make the state a better place
- 9:53Speaker 7: to live, work and raise a family. I think Governor
- 9:56Speaker 7: Morrissey is going to be one of the most transformational
- 9:59Speaker 7: governors in America. He's a policy guy, he does not
- 10:02Speaker 7: back down from a fight with the special interests to
- 10:04Speaker 7: make sure that West Virginians are being put first. And
- 10:07Speaker 7: so we're very excited to see him and along with
- 10:09Speaker 7: the you know, the legislature, a lot of principal policy
- 10:12Speaker 7: champions there, and so we've just got a great landscape
- 10:15Speaker 7: to really advance a lot of reforms rapidly that are
- 10:18Speaker 7: going to make the average person's life better.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I don't want to talk about what we've seen so
- 10:22Speaker 3: far from Governor Morrisey. I mean, the session, as I mentioned,
- 10:26Speaker 3: hasn't started yet. It'll start February eleven. But he came
- 10:29Speaker 3: out of the gate in day one with executive orders,
- 10:32Speaker 3: much like President Trump did with some executive orders and
- 10:34Speaker 3: so on and so on. I would imagine you folks
- 10:36Speaker 3: have been pretty happy with what you've seen so far.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Sure, yeah, I mean, you know, the elimination of DEI,
- 10:41Speaker 7: him coming out and saying that this administration is going
- 10:43Speaker 7: to be one of the most pro educational freedom administrations
- 10:47Speaker 7: in the nation. Listen, he wanted to make a statement,
- 10:49Speaker 7: and he's a guy that understands what the people want.
- 10:53Speaker 7: He's demonstrated that all the way through the campaign and
- 10:55Speaker 7: now as a governor, he's wasting no time with getting
- 10:58Speaker 7: to business with the work of the people.
- 11:00Speaker 3: You mentioned the I and that's been a those three
- 11:04Speaker 3: letters have been in the news a whole lot over
- 11:07Speaker 3: the last cup, not only from you know, from from
- 11:09Speaker 3: Governor Morrincy, but also President Trump and others. Only get
- 11:12Speaker 3: into the I a little bit later on.
- 11:14Speaker 7: What is it about the d e I de I
- 11:17Speaker 7: that concerns you folks so much? Well, I mean it's
- 11:20Speaker 7: it's anti meerocratic. We're we're republic for a reason, right.
- 11:24Speaker 7: I think that when it comes to the role of government,
- 11:28Speaker 7: the proper role of government, dee I really has no
- 11:30Speaker 7: place there. Folks should be put in a position because
- 11:33Speaker 7: they could do the job well, not because you know,
- 11:35Speaker 7: we're picking one version of a person over another. And
- 11:39Speaker 7: so I'm glad to see the governor did that.
- 11:42Speaker 3: And you guys are spending some cash to get your
- 11:44Speaker 3: word out now this now, this segment is a news segment.
- 11:46Speaker 3: You're not paying to be here. But but I mean,
- 11:48Speaker 3: but you are spending some cash, right, Why why is
- 11:50Speaker 3: that so important?
- 11:52Speaker 7: Well, because Dave, there's a lot of special interests out
- 11:54Speaker 7: there that want to see the system continue to be rigged.
- 11:57Speaker 7: They're they're working take certificate and needs. In the example,
- 12:01Speaker 7: they like the way the system is because they benefit
- 12:03Speaker 7: from it. They put up these barriers to progress because
- 12:08Speaker 7: it's something that benefits their bottom line. So what we're
- 12:11Speaker 7: doing is the same thing we do every year, Dave.
- 12:13Speaker 7: We're going to bolster to lawmakers, encourage them, give them
- 12:16Speaker 7: the political courage that they need to go and do
- 12:19Speaker 7: the tough thing, the right policy move because it's the
- 12:22Speaker 7: right thing to do. That's going to look like, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 7: calls going into lawmakers, citizens reaching out to lawmakers, writing
- 12:29Speaker 7: them a postcard. You know, We're going to run digital
- 12:32Speaker 7: ads that educate the public on these issues and why
- 12:35Speaker 7: they're so important, you know, send direct mail to those folks,
- 12:39Speaker 7: just so that they can become a part of the movement,
- 12:42Speaker 7: become a part of folks that are engaged in the
- 12:44Speaker 7: legislative process, because guess what democracy belongs to those that show.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Up and for those who may not have heard you
- 12:50Speaker 3: and Kressen Gallagher, who's the deputy state director of the
- 12:53Speaker 3: organization of the show in the past, give us the
- 12:54Speaker 3: basic idea behind Americans for Prospering. Sure.
- 12:57Speaker 7: So, we're a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that is trying to
- 13:00Speaker 7: tackle the toughest issues facing the state. Center right policy
- 13:05Speaker 7: minded organization. We have a set of principles with regards
- 13:10Speaker 7: to the free market. We think that the free market
- 13:13Speaker 7: is a thing that has lifted more people out of
- 13:14Speaker 7: poverty than any government program ever thought about. And so
- 13:18Speaker 7: we want to instill those principles into reforms that lawmakers
- 13:22Speaker 7: are adopting very rapidly, so that we can make a
- 13:26Speaker 7: place where folks confined their version of the American dream
- 13:29Speaker 7: more easily.
- 13:30Speaker 3: And where can people learn more about your organization?
- 13:33Speaker 7: I would just take a look at our social media
- 13:34Speaker 7: channels Facebook, Twitter, Americans for Prosperity West Virginia.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Jasonfan It's always a pleasure to have you on the show.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Probably won't have you on before the Legendative session because
- 13:43Speaker 3: you guys are a little busy around there around the Capitol.

- 16:47Speaker 3: as I told you on Friday's show, Restaurant Week kicks
- 16:50Speaker 3: off either today or tomorrow in Charleston. I say that
- 16:52Speaker 3: because if your favorite place is normally closed on Mondays,
- 16:57Speaker 3: then it will start for them tomorrow, and they're open today,
- 17:01Speaker 3: it will start this evening. As you may have figured now,
- 17:04Speaker 3: I'm scheduled to have Kevin Madison on to talk about
- 17:08Speaker 3: but don't know where Kevin is not heard from mister Madison.
- 17:11Speaker 3: We booked him on the show last week and not
- 17:13Speaker 3: here as of now, so I guess we'll just move
- 17:17Speaker 3: on I will tell you that I do have on
- 17:20Speaker 3: my social media and Dave alland Radio, I have a
- 17:22Speaker 3: list of the restaurants that are taking part in Restaurant Week.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And if you can go to any of the restaurants pages,
- 17:28Speaker 3: their social media pages, their websites or whatever, you can
- 17:30Speaker 3: find more information about what their exact menus are. Under
- 17:35Speaker 3: the Gazette Mail last week actually printed some of those.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Some of the restaurants that are taking part in Restaurant
- 17:40Speaker 3: Week again starts today or tomorrow here in Charleston. Some
- 17:44Speaker 3: of the restaurants are Adelphia ten ten Bridge, Barcada's at
- 17:47Speaker 3: the Fort, Black Sheep, Britos and Bruce, Bricks and Barrels, DT, Prime, Dim,
- 17:52Speaker 3: Two Brothers and a Grill, Fernbank Public House, itchubon the Lookout,
- 17:57Speaker 3: Pies and Pints, a Restaurant, A Bruise, a restaurant, A Brews,
- 18:01Speaker 3: Sam's Uptown Cafe, Sergio's, Sohos, the Capitol Market and the
- 18:05Speaker 3: Volsted Rooms some of the restaurants that are taking part
- 18:08Speaker 3: in the Restaurant Week festivities in Charleston. And again had
- 18:12Speaker 3: Stephen Keith, the food Guy on from the Gazette Mail
- 18:16Speaker 3: on Friday, and he and asked me a little bit
- 18:18Speaker 3: of time talking about it as well. And you know,
- 18:21Speaker 3: our restaurants here in Charleston have really really suffered a
- 18:26Speaker 3: whole lot over there. Well, I mean, let's just go
- 18:29Speaker 3: back in time. Let's go back to twenty twenty with COVID,
- 18:32Speaker 3: and Restaurant Week actually started after the water crisis back
- 18:36Speaker 3: in what twenty twenty twelve, I guess, and our twenty
- 18:42Speaker 3: twenty thirteen, and that's when it actually kind of got
- 18:44Speaker 3: started to kind of tell people, hey, these are restaurants
- 18:47Speaker 3: because of the water crisis. If you remember what happened
- 18:49Speaker 3: back then, these restaurants have really really suffered. And so
- 18:52Speaker 3: what we want to do, we meaning these businesses, is
- 18:54Speaker 3: try to get people to come back into these particular restaurants.
- 18:58Speaker 3: And it's been going strong ever since. And then with COVID,
- 19:01Speaker 3: and you know what COVID did to the restaurant business
- 19:03Speaker 3: across America and not only here in Charleston obviously, but
- 19:06Speaker 3: across America even more important, and let's face it, at
- 19:09Speaker 3: any time I say anything negative about the snow and
- 19:14Speaker 3: the ice in the cold weather, I always get a
- 19:16Speaker 3: phone call, our a text from a good buddy Joe
- 19:18Speaker 3: Stevens from the West Virginia Ski Areas Association. But it's
- 19:21Speaker 3: been a rough winter, I'll say that. And when you
- 19:24Speaker 3: have what we've had for the first couple of weeks
- 19:26Speaker 3: of January, people just aren't heading out to the restaurants
- 19:28Speaker 3: as much. People can't get their employees can't get there.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Many of them had to close for several days. And
- 19:35Speaker 3: again it's not just not being able to get there,
- 19:37Speaker 3: but a lot of time their employees couldn't get there
- 19:39Speaker 3: and so on and so forth. So it's been rough
- 19:41Speaker 3: on our restaurant. So the weather is fantastic. Would be
- 19:43Speaker 3: a great opportunity for you to call ahead of time,
- 19:46Speaker 3: and you probably should in most cases with those restaurants
- 19:50Speaker 3: I listed, you probably should at least give them a
- 19:52Speaker 3: call ahead, send them a message or whatever, and say
- 19:54Speaker 3: do I need a reservation? You are going to need
- 19:56Speaker 3: for some of those that I mentioned earlier. And again
- 19:58Speaker 3: I've got the complete list of restaurant here in Charleston
- 20:00Speaker 3: taking part in it posted on Dave Allen Radio on Facebook.
- 20:04Speaker 3: You probably should go ahead and plan on making a
- 20:06Speaker 3: reservation and so so get out there and support these
- 20:09Speaker 3: local businesses. I mean, they they really need you. These
- 20:12Speaker 3: local restaurants have really suffered in the early part of
- 20:14Speaker 3: twenty twenty five with the weather that we've had, so
- 20:17Speaker 3: so get out there and try to try to support
- 20:21Speaker 3: and we'll try and then I've got another restaurant tour
- 20:23Speaker 3: scheduled to be on the show on Wednesday, so well,
- 20:27Speaker 3: we'll see how that goes. Older adults should protect themselves

- 20:56Speaker 3: of AFP it's Americans for Prosperity, calling them Americans for
- 21:00Speaker 3: No Prosperity, and warn anyone from recommending people associated with
- 21:04Speaker 3: AFP from being sent his way for consideration in the administration.
- 21:09Speaker 3: That's an interesting occurrence because our governor has always surrounded
- 21:12Speaker 3: himself heavily with AFP folks, creates an odd situation. I
- 21:17Speaker 3: was unaware of that. I did not know that President
- 21:19Speaker 3: Trump had said that, So look into that a little
- 21:22Speaker 3: bit for the a is. It's kind of interesting that
- 21:26Speaker 3: he would say that. I don't know what the reason
- 21:27Speaker 3: for that would be, but I'll dive into it a
- 21:30Speaker 3: little bit. Tex says doing away with the certificate of
- 21:33Speaker 3: need would solve a problem where none exist. For locally
- 21:36Speaker 3: owned hospice agencies that have provided excellent care to West
- 21:39Speaker 3: Virginia families for forty five years and invested hundreds of
- 21:42Speaker 3: millions of dollars establishing, maintaining, and growing hospice and bereavementcare
- 21:47Speaker 3: services paliative services throughout the states. Doing away with cons
- 21:52Speaker 3: certificate of need would allow large out of state, for
- 21:55Speaker 3: profit corporate healthcare companies to come in and cherry pick
- 21:58Speaker 3: patients who they can make money off of instead of
- 22:01Speaker 3: caring for everyone who needs care, which is the exact
- 22:05Speaker 3: opposite of what Pathways to Progress claims, says a texture.
- 22:16Speaker 3: As I recall when DEI was called tokenism, there was
- 22:20Speaker 3: an anger, an offense being offered a job or special
- 22:23Speaker 3: treatment because of your race, gender, religion, sexual preferences, et cetera,
- 22:28Speaker 3: instead of your qualifications and merit. When did this switch happen?
- 22:32Speaker 3: I'm gonna get into the DEI thing coming up a
- 22:34Speaker 3: little bit later on in the show Texas Dave, can
- 22:39Speaker 3: you confirm or deny the rumors of ICE doing raids?
- 22:43Speaker 3: And Canali have Putnam Counties? Also? Can you confirm or
- 22:46Speaker 3: deny the rumors that J. C. Penny is closing at
- 22:49Speaker 3: the town Center. Well, I like you if you were
- 22:52Speaker 3: perusing social media at all yesterday. I did see some
- 22:55Speaker 3: postings about ICE agents in in Kanah and Putnam. Actually
- 23:02Speaker 3: I saw Cable County was the one that I saw.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I didn't see Kanaw. I did see Putnam and Cabull Counties. Listen,
- 23:08Speaker 3: and again, I hate to get into speculation because I
- 23:10Speaker 3: don't know whether it is true or not. I can
- 23:12Speaker 3: tell you that nothing officially came out. I did see
- 23:16Speaker 3: a lot of folks posting about it on social media,
- 23:19Speaker 3: warning people that ICE agents were in town, which sound
- 23:24Speaker 3: kind of sounds like eighty o A betting to me.
- 23:26Speaker 3: But that's beside the point. I don't know. I cannot
- 23:29Speaker 3: confirm nor deny any of that. Because nothing official has
- 23:32Speaker 3: come out, and I don't know of any news organizations
- 23:34Speaker 3: that are reporting that that is definitely the case. As
- 23:37Speaker 3: far as the rumors that JC Penny is closing at
- 23:40Speaker 3: the Town Center again, I don't know. I know just
- 23:43Speaker 3: what you have, what you've probably heard, or what you
- 23:45Speaker 3: read on social media over the weekend. I do not know.

- 24:31Speaker 3: You started somebody's week off, right, As Hoppy used to

- 24:46Speaker 3: we originally had Canall circu Judge Mary Claire Acres scheduled
- 24:51Speaker 3: to be on the show today to talk about her
- 24:53Speaker 3: Valentine's tradition, which is the marathon of weddings the judge
- 24:57Speaker 3: Acres performs that day. She, as Jeff told you at
- 25:00Speaker 3: the top of the show, she is still tied up
- 25:02Speaker 3: in the White Feather Lance trial in Canon Circuit Court.
- 25:05Speaker 3: So we will get her rescheduled for another another show.
- 25:11Speaker 3: I don't know exactly when that'll be, but one I
- 25:15Speaker 3: will work on getting her back on the shop becase
- 25:17Speaker 3: that's always a big deal. And of course I know
- 25:19Speaker 3: that she always takes time from her schedule on Valentine's Day,
- 25:21Speaker 3: which is on a Friday this year, to call us
- 25:24Speaker 3: up to kind of update some of the numbers down there.
- 25:26Speaker 3: But I will get Judge Aacers rescheduled for another show
- 25:30Speaker 3: coming up. On tomorrow's show, Josh being from Jude Security.
- 25:33Speaker 3: If our good sponsors will be stopping by. Also, we're
- 25:35Speaker 3: gonna spend some time talking about pre K registration in
- 25:38Speaker 3: Canawa County within the Knawha County school System, and Ashley
- 25:42Speaker 3: offered Glance, the executive director of the Putnam County Chamber
- 25:44Speaker 3: of Commerce, will be here as they have a lot
- 25:47Speaker 3: of things going on big in Putnam County right now.
- 25:49Speaker 3: New businesses opening up and the annual Putnam County Chamber
- 25:52Speaker 3: of Commerce Membership Dinner is this Friday night at Valley Park.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I don't know how they're doing on tickets when I
- 25:58Speaker 3: talked to her last week, and there won't a whole
- 25:59Speaker 3: lot less if there are any at all. I mean,
- 26:01Speaker 3: this is a big, big event. If you live in
- 26:03Speaker 3: Putnam County or the surrounding areas, you know that. I
- 26:06Speaker 3: mean we're talking about like a thousand people show, a
- 26:08Speaker 3: bit dis event at Valley Park, so it's a pretty
- 26:11Speaker 3: big deal. We'll talk to Ashley about that coming up
- 26:14Speaker 3: on tomorrow's show. Bigley Pigley Wiggley Hotline three zero four

- 26:27Speaker 3: and strong leadership with President Trump at the helm. The
- 26:30Speaker 3: national anthem at the Eagles game yesterday was awesome, especially
- 26:34Speaker 3: the bald eagle flying to the stadium was priceless. Thanks.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I actually did see the gentleman who performed the national anthem. Now,
- 26:42Speaker 3: I think the one I saw was prior to the Kara,
- 26:46Speaker 3: prior to the Kansas City and Buffalo game. I think
- 26:49Speaker 3: that's the one I saw that was especially good. In
- 26:53Speaker 3: my opinion, I don't think I saw the first time.
- 26:55Speaker 3: Might be wrong about that, because you know, at this
- 26:57Speaker 3: point in the NFL season, the Cowboys aren't there. I
- 27:01Speaker 3: really don't care. And for I'm kidding for all of
- 27:05Speaker 3: these people, and I've talked to them, a lot of
- 27:08Speaker 3: people that and I don't want to turn this into
- 27:10Speaker 3: a sports segment, but for all a lot of these
- 27:11Speaker 3: people that are anti Kansas City Chiefs and whatever. Well,
- 27:15Speaker 3: as they used to say about the Golden State Warriors,
- 27:18Speaker 3: the Chicago Bulls, the NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon or Dale Earnhardt,
- 27:23Speaker 3: if you don't like him, beat them. It's that simple.
- 27:27Speaker 3: It's that simple. But Dave Island showing five. Any Live
- 27:30Speaker 3: is Brown as you parked by Morgan to Morgan, America's
- 27:32Speaker 3: largest injury law firm. Busy weekend for us here at
- 27:36Speaker 3: the Radio Range. Of course, we had a big part
- 27:37Speaker 3: in the thirty seventh annual West Virginia Hunting a Fishing
- 27:40Speaker 3: Show at the Condolsteam Convention Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 27:44Speaker 3: And what a night for Charleston. Friday night, I mean,
- 27:48Speaker 3: we had the hunting and Fishing show, We had the
- 27:50Speaker 3: Reds Caravan at the over at the theater at the
- 27:54Speaker 3: Coddlesteum Convention Center. Jeff Jenkins and Brian Bradley, myself were
- 27:58Speaker 3: over there for that, and then we had the Dark
- 28:00Speaker 3: and McCollum concert all going on at the same time.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Those three big events all happening in one building or
- 28:08Speaker 3: at least segmented parts of the building, all at one time.
- 28:12Speaker 3: That was pretty cool. But somehow they pulled off. So
- 28:15Speaker 3: hands off to the folks involved with the Kytle Seemen
- 28:18Speaker 3: Convention Center for pulling that off. It was absolutely incredible.
- 28:23Speaker 3: The hunting and Fishing show, of course, continued on Saturday
- 28:25Speaker 3: and now I worked the show Saturday morning into the
- 28:27Speaker 3: afternoon hours. Had a great time hanging out with people.
- 28:30Speaker 3: And I'll have to talk to Jim Strawn about this,
- 28:33Speaker 3: but man, I tell you, the numbers that I saw
- 28:36Speaker 3: on Saturday afternoon were fantastic. I think people just wanted
- 28:40Speaker 3: to get out of the house, to be honest with you,
- 28:42Speaker 3: and they were there at the Hunting and Fishing Show,
- 28:45Speaker 3: and more importantly for the vendors there, they were spending
- 28:48Speaker 3: a lot of money, That's what important, and brought a
- 28:50Speaker 3: whole lot of people into Charleston, and for the restaurants
- 28:54Speaker 3: and the hotels and so on and so forth. But
- 28:56Speaker 3: it was a great night. Of course, there was another
- 28:58Speaker 3: concert Saturday night at the Cottleseum and Convention Center with
- 29:02Speaker 3: Rodney Carrington, and then the Hunting Fishing Show wrapped up yesterday.
- 29:06Speaker 3: It was a lot going on for one weekend. And
- 29:12Speaker 3: I do really appreciate folks hanging out with us for
- 29:14Speaker 3: all four events, the Hunting and Fishing Show, the two concerts,
- 29:17Speaker 3: and the Red's Caravan. And also I want to say
- 29:20Speaker 3: thanks to everyone who helped out with our second annual
- 29:23Speaker 3: Panhandle Cleaning and Restoration WVRC Media Charleston Sock Drop for
- 29:28Speaker 3: Union Mission. We had well over two thousand two thousand
- 29:31Speaker 3: pairs of socks that were collected, and then more were
- 29:36Speaker 3: added to that Saturday night as one of the local
- 29:42Speaker 3: motorcycle groups had a birthday party for their leader. And
- 29:45Speaker 3: from what I was not there, but from what I
- 29:47Speaker 3: have been told, as part of the price of admission,
- 29:50Speaker 3: in order to get in you had to donate socks,
- 29:53Speaker 3: and so we were able to pick up another couple
- 29:56Speaker 3: hundreds of pairs of socks to be given to those
- 30:00Speaker 3: in need through Union Mission. How cool is that?
- 30:03Speaker 2: Now?

- 30:39Speaker 3: and California because of illegal labor bringing illegals to West Virginia.
- 30:44Speaker 3: We need workers to build our economy, says the text.
- 30:48Speaker 3: You know, and there is there is a lot of
- 30:53Speaker 3: focus face placed on the illegals coming across the southern
- 31:01Speaker 3: border as well. There should be. I have no issue
- 31:03Speaker 3: with that. However, if you're an employer and you are
- 31:09Speaker 3: employing these folks, you are just as guilty as they are.
- 31:13Speaker 3: And I have no issue. I have no issue at
- 31:15Speaker 3: all with strengthening the border, sending whatever we need to take,
- 31:18Speaker 3: you know, whatever it takes to get this problem taken

- 31:23Speaker 3: everybody's talking about ice and whatnot, I hope that they
- 31:28Speaker 3: will put as much further into going after the employers
- 31:33Speaker 3: that are illegally hiring some of these workers as well. Now, granted,
- 31:38Speaker 3: and everyone that's coming in is not working for legitimate employers,
- 31:41Speaker 3: I get that, but the ones that are, you're just
- 31:43Speaker 3: as guilty. You are just as guilty. So I hope

- 35:37Speaker 3: name coming to Charleston, Luke Bryan Wow as a textra
- 35:41Speaker 3: I knew that was happening, I did not know that
- 35:43Speaker 3: it had been made official. Ran down the hall there
- 35:46Speaker 3: doing the break. My man Rob Reel must be on

- 35:56Speaker 3: to on KWS. But yeah, it's just one big concert
- 35:59Speaker 3: in now right after another here in Charleston. Good stuff,
- 36:03Speaker 3: good stuff. Kind of a bizarre story here in the
- 36:07Speaker 3: capital city from early yesterday morning. Jeff Jenkins writes about
- 36:11Speaker 3: it this morning wv Metronews dot com. According to Charleston Police,
- 36:16Speaker 3: a man identified as thirty four year old Ethan Chick
- 36:19Speaker 3: Colbert of Saint Albans was murdered of the Easton of
- 36:23Speaker 3: Charleston early Sunday morning. That's the city's first murder in
- 36:27Speaker 3: the new year, and police, from what I understand, according
- 36:31Speaker 3: to the story, are still looking for the shooter. Now
- 36:33Speaker 3: you may recall that name. He served several years in
- 36:38Speaker 3: prison after being convicted in twenty twelve and a domestic
- 36:41Speaker 3: assault case. He was found to have beaten up his
- 36:45Speaker 3: girlfriend on the side of the road on I seventy
- 36:48Speaker 3: seven near Charleston. And the tragic well, the whole story
- 36:53Speaker 3: was tragic. But to make it even more tragic, I
- 36:56Speaker 3: guess you could say, if you remember that story, the
- 36:59Speaker 3: woman then eleven year old son was with her and
- 37:05Speaker 3: when he got out of the car to run to
- 37:08Speaker 3: get help, he was struck and killed by a vehicle.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Now again, as of showtime, no motive and no one
- 37:16Speaker 3: has been named as a suspect. That's kind of where
- 37:19Speaker 3: we are right now. Bigley Piculi Wiggly Hotline three zero

- 37:29Speaker 3: zero eight Tex says employers using migrant labor won't get punished.
- 37:34Speaker 3: They have their workers on H two A work visas. Now,
- 37:37Speaker 3: whether that documentation is valid or not is a question,
- 37:41Speaker 3: but the employers have plausible deniability to avoid repercussions of
- 37:44Speaker 3: hiring documented workers. And I've talked about this on the show.
- 37:47Speaker 3: I have a good friend of mine who owns a
- 37:50Speaker 3: company and he frequently uses out of the country workers,
- 37:55Speaker 3: but they are legal to be here because they are
- 37:58Speaker 3: on work visas. He works with the government on this.
- 38:01Speaker 3: If he was doing anything illegal, he wouldn't be more
- 38:04Speaker 3: than likely working with the government on this. But again,
- 38:08Speaker 3: I'm talking about the employers that don't go through the
- 38:11Speaker 3: proper process. And I don't know that you see it
- 38:15Speaker 3: so much in West Virginia, but you certainly see it
- 38:18Speaker 3: down south. The first time I saw it was about
- 38:21Speaker 3: ten fifteen years ago. My wife and I were visiting
- 38:23Speaker 3: some of her family in North Carolina and jumped in
- 38:26Speaker 3: the truck with my brother in law to go down
- 38:28Speaker 3: to a local hardware store, a big chain store it something.
- 38:31Speaker 3: He was working on something, and I just rode with him,
- 38:34Speaker 3: and I saw a great number of these workers that
- 38:40Speaker 3: were kind of standing around, and I asked my brother
- 38:42Speaker 3: in law, I said, well, what exactly are they doing?
- 38:45Speaker 3: He said, Oh, they come down here in front of
- 38:46Speaker 3: your low's or home depot or whatever the case was
- 38:49Speaker 3: down there, and they just kind of hang out here.
- 38:51Speaker 3: And then somebody that's got a roofing job or some
- 38:54Speaker 3: sort of a farming this is kind of in a
- 38:56Speaker 3: rural area, kind of a farming thing going on, they'll
- 38:59Speaker 3: just pull up, say give me him, him him, and
- 39:02Speaker 3: put him in the back of the truck. And so, yeah,
- 39:05Speaker 3: that's that's the kind of thing I think that needs
- 39:07Speaker 3: to be cracked down on it. Again, make no mistake
- 39:09Speaker 3: about it. I'm not saying that illegal immigrants should should
- 39:13Speaker 3: not be you know, the ones that are not making
- 39:16Speaker 3: any effort to become legal, not not doing about the
- 39:20Speaker 3: right the right way. I have no issue with that.
- 39:23Speaker 3: But I think that something needs to be done with
- 39:25Speaker 3: the employers as well. Texas Dave Baron Trump was born
- 39:30Speaker 3: in America when Malatia was not a citizen, and she
- 39:33Speaker 3: broke immigration laws, that is automatic deportation by Trump standards. Well,
- 39:37Speaker 3: maybe maybe he just wants rid of his wife. I
- 39:40Speaker 3: don't know. Text says these illegals show more entrepreneurial spirit
- 39:44Speaker 3: than most white Americans. You know what, I don't disagree.
- 39:50Speaker 3: For the most part, that's not going to make me
- 39:51Speaker 3: very popular, But for the most part, I for the
- 39:55Speaker 3: most I'm not talking about the ones that are coming
- 39:57Speaker 3: here and committing crimes. I'm talking about the ones that
- 39:59Speaker 3: are actually working. There's something to be said for entrepreneurial spirit,
- 40:04Speaker 3: but there's also something to be said for doing it
- 40:06Speaker 3: the right way. Restoring sanity. I don't think on the
- 40:13Speaker 3: surface anyone would argue with that term. Brad McIlhenny has
- 40:18Speaker 3: a story posted about this this morning wv Metronews dot com.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Senator Patricia Rucker, who is the newly named chair of
- 40:25Speaker 3: the Senate Government Organization Committee, says she will bring back
- 40:29Speaker 3: legislation that she calls the Restoring Sanity Act that would
- 40:37Speaker 3: codify restrictions on the use of DEI diversity, equity and
- 40:43Speaker 3: inclusion standards. Now, speaking on talk Line last week with
- 40:47Speaker 3: Dave Wilson and TJ. Meadow, Senator Rucker said she has
- 40:51Speaker 3: asked to reintroduce it this session, which gets underway next month,
- 40:58Speaker 3: and if it goes anywhere, the bill would be, according
- 41:03Speaker 3: to Brad's story, another in a series of state and
- 41:06Speaker 3: federal actions designed to crack down on DEI. Now, you know,
- 41:12Speaker 3: the whole concept of DEI is a set of policies
- 41:17Speaker 3: in business, government, and the world of higher education to
- 41:22Speaker 3: address what some see as systemic inequities faced by certain groups.
- 41:30Speaker 3: President Trump, Governor Morrissey, and others have talked about it
- 41:34Speaker 3: a lot. Now. President Trump's executive order was titled Ending
- 41:40Speaker 3: Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit Based Opportunities. That's the exact title.
- 41:47Speaker 3: President Trump has referred to such DEI policies as his words, dangerous, demeaning,
- 41:54Speaker 3: and immoral. The executive Order, I'm the President, also addresses
- 42:02Speaker 3: federal contracts and other private entities. Now, last week, President
- 42:10Speaker 3: Trump ordered all US government staff that had been working
- 42:15Speaker 3: on DEI stuff to be placed on paid administrative leave.
- 42:21Speaker 3: The administra You're so you're gonna have them stay home
- 42:24Speaker 3: and pay him. That makes sense. The administration has also
- 42:29Speaker 3: as federal employees to expose any of their co workers
- 42:35Speaker 3: who may still be working on DEI programs. Now, now,
- 42:41Speaker 3: let's go back stateside for a moment. On day one
- 42:46Speaker 3: in office, Governor Morrissey issued his own executive order to
- 42:50Speaker 3: quote order the cessation of DEI.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Now.
- 42:55Speaker 3: The order, according to the governor, says, no state office,
- 42:59Speaker 3: under the govern authority, or in any entity receiving state funds,
- 43:05Speaker 3: may allow again quoting preferences based on one's particular race, color, sex,
- 43:13Speaker 3: or national origin, et cetera end quote. House Minority Leader
- 43:18Speaker 3: Sean Hornbuckle referred to the governor's DEI initiative as again
- 43:23Speaker 3: quoting a lot of quotes here, creating a DEI boogeyman
- 43:27Speaker 3: that doesn't exist in quote. Senator Patricia Rucker, who was
- 43:33Speaker 3: born in Venezuela, says voters expect these things to be addressed,
- 43:39Speaker 3: and she was on talk line last week again with
- 43:43Speaker 3: Wilson and Meadows, saying, quote, we continue to get stories
- 43:46Speaker 3: from our constituents who are facing what I call discrimination
- 43:51Speaker 3: based on these types of policies end quote. She went
- 43:55Speaker 3: on to say that she considered DEI policies to be offensive.
- 44:01Speaker 3: And going back to last year, the Restoring Sanity Act
- 44:06Speaker 3: or his SB eight seventy from last year was sponsored
- 44:09Speaker 3: by Senator Rucker and advanced through the Senate Education Committee,
- 44:13Speaker 3: but then it stalled in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Now
- 44:16Speaker 3: Brand has a very detailed story about it, as I said,
- 44:19Speaker 3: posted at wv metronews dot com. And anytime you start
- 44:23Speaker 3: talking about DEI, it really gets people fired up. I
- 44:30Speaker 3: was in a text exchange, a very polite exchange, by
- 44:33Speaker 3: the way, with a good friend of mine over the weekend,
- 44:37Speaker 3: who happens to be a person of color, and he
- 44:40Speaker 3: texted me about that, and I just asked, and we were
- 44:43Speaker 3: kind of just talking about opinions. Funny thing was, we
- 44:46Speaker 3: started out disagreeing on a couple of things. Again it
- 44:50Speaker 3: is very, very very cordial conversation as best you can
- 44:53Speaker 3: have over text. But by the end of the text
- 44:57Speaker 3: conversation we found out what we were mostly on the
- 45:00Speaker 3: same page, a few differences here or there, but still
- 45:03Speaker 3: mostly on the same page by the end of the conversation.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Go figure to people with different opinions, even via text,
- 45:10Speaker 3: who can actually have differences of opinion and just talk
- 45:14Speaker 3: about it. What a novel concept. But Dave Island showing

- 45:58Speaker 3: The textra sent me back in in two thousand and

- 49:11Speaker 3: you man? So I've spent a lot of time this
- 49:14Speaker 3: morning reading text. I had a lot of text to
- 49:16Speaker 3: get you. One of those was a text somebody asking
- 49:19Speaker 3: me about the rumors that there were several ice arrests
- 49:25Speaker 3: I guess or whatever in the area yesterday. Again, we
- 49:27Speaker 3: have no confirmation of that. I saw it on social media,
- 49:30Speaker 3: as I'm sure you did, and you know it's on
- 49:32Speaker 3: social media. It must be true. It must be true.
- 49:33Speaker 3: But one of the texts I found particularly entertaining, TJ said,
- 49:39Speaker 3: if Ice is raiding West Virginia, say goodbye to the
- 49:41Speaker 3: quality of Mexican food. I have already, it's already catered
- 49:44Speaker 3: to the West Virginia palle but now it'll taste like
- 49:47Speaker 3: mayonnaise and marinara sauce. I don't know if I should
- 49:51Speaker 3: be if that is offensive or wat, but it's pretty
- 49:53Speaker 3: dang funny whatever it is.
- 49:54Speaker 12: Yeah, I think that's just trying to, you know, get
- 49:56Speaker 12: a funny end of this situation.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Well it worked because I laughed. Yeah, oh yeah, I
- 50:00Speaker 3: appreciate the humor. I was.
- 50:02Speaker 12: I was looking on the xbox here to see if
- 50:05Speaker 12: I could find how many people ICE actually arrested yesterday.
- 50:08Speaker 3: They put a daily number out and this is nationwide.
- 50:11Speaker 3: But yeah, it was Does nine hundred sound hot? Sounds?
- 50:16Speaker 3: I think not? Maybe nine eighty four? Even I thought,
- 50:18Speaker 3: is how about nine four? Now day? I thought it
- 50:21Speaker 3: was in the nine hundreds. It was in the nine hut.
- 50:23Speaker 3: And that's nationwide. That's calm down people. That's not in
- 50:26Speaker 3: Taye Valley in honey Nuts. That's that's nationwide. Well, you
- 50:29Speaker 3: got on a big show today, my friend. Yeah, we
- 50:31Speaker 3: got a lot going on. So coming up right tople
- 50:33Speaker 3: show of ten oh six minority whipping the House. Delegate
- 50:36Speaker 3: Sean flew Hardy from up in the Northern Panhandle joins us.
- 50:40Speaker 3: We'll ask him.
- 50:41Speaker 12: About this situation with the the de Soto seat in
- 50:43Speaker 12: the ninety first. You know, it broke on Friday with
- 50:46Speaker 12: clarification from the Supreme Court that the automatic stay was
- 50:49Speaker 12: just that from Roger Hanshaw. There's a provision in the
- 50:52Speaker 12: law that says you can't sue someone before or after
- 50:56Speaker 12: the legislature. I don't have the exact days in front
- 50:57Speaker 12: of me. I'll get it for the show, but you
- 51:00Speaker 12: can't sue him. And so he was part of that suit.
- 51:02Speaker 12: So he said, hey, I'm putting the Cabash on this,
- 51:04Speaker 12: I'm stopping it allows me to do that. So we'll
- 51:08Speaker 12: talk with Sean kind of see how the Democrats are
- 51:10Speaker 12: going to regroup, what they'll do, how we move on,
- 51:12Speaker 12: because if the status holds, Dave, I mean we're talking
- 51:16Speaker 12: May the twelfth, now before this gets adjudicated with the
- 51:20Speaker 12: Supreme Court, which will long be after session.
- 51:22Speaker 3: And then with the session is starting in February eleven.
- 51:24Speaker 3: That's that's somewhat problematic, somewhat problematic. And you know, what
- 51:28Speaker 3: good is one seat when you've got ninety others if
- 51:30Speaker 3: you're the Republican. So we'll get into that with Sean.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Ten thirty three.
- 51:33Speaker 12: There have been reports of whooping cough in Putnam County
- 51:37Speaker 12: and Cabal County. We'll talk with an infectious disease specialist
- 51:40Speaker 12: from Vandelia Health talk about that issue and also get
- 51:43Speaker 12: into vaccines in general. There's been a lot of call
- 51:46Speaker 12: on my show to explain how vaccines work. I've told
- 51:50Speaker 12: people what I think and what I read, but they
- 51:52Speaker 12: want to hear it straight from an MD.
- 51:54Speaker 3: So we'll do that a litlevent. You're not a doctor.
- 51:56Speaker 12: No, No, I'm many things, but doctor is not one
- 51:58Speaker 12: of But doctor's not one of them. I did stay
- 52:00Speaker 12: at a holiday and express a long time ago. But anyway,
- 52:04Speaker 12: So coming up at eleven oh six, a lot going
- 52:06Speaker 12: on in the Mountain State this week.
- 52:07Speaker 3: We had a murder here in Charleston. We had a
- 52:09Speaker 3: resort catch fire in the EP.
- 52:11Speaker 12: We had a trailer explode in Clarksburg, supposedly from a
- 52:14Speaker 12: gas leak. We'll learn more about that eleven thirty, our
- 52:16Speaker 12: friend Steven Adams stops by. Plus the text line's been crazy,
- 52:20Speaker 12: keep it coming. We'll get your thoughts, concerns, questions. It
- 52:23Speaker 12: would be a good show.
- 52:24Speaker 3: Should be? Yeah, should be? TJ. Meadows and Dave Wilson
