- 0:01There we go. Hey, yo, we're back again. The ground is
- 0:04show the Boy. Let's Sanchez here with Quincy's Jamal and Joe fer Old Jr.
- 0:13Knees Paul for episode what a Honda's Go fire Man. It's a nice
- 0:22little milestone. Man. It's crazy because we actually have more than one hundred
- 0:24episodes, so we got a couple of two partners. But this is the
- 0:29official Han Dawn Yes answer applause here, Yeah, facts, man, And
- 0:38the dope thing is, you know, before we got on, we just
- 0:40were talking about like how some of the online performance has been like with TikTok
- 0:45and just you know, the different types of videos we've been putting on and
- 0:48people just been rocking with it, been doing real well. We're building like
- 0:52a little nice community on TikTok with you know people that's rocking with the clips
- 0:56that were dropping. So we're gonna keep building that, keep building this.
- 1:00And then like I said, man one hundred, that's super dope, bro.
- 1:04We were We're all at very different places literally when we started this,
- 1:11you know what I mean, Like Joe was in Vegas, you know what
- 1:14I mean. I think Quincy had just moved to Atlanta. Yeah, this
- 1:19room was empty. It wasn't even I didn't even paint it yet. You
- 1:22could still hear the echoes from the floor because there was nothing in here but
- 1:25my computer. Yeah, that's true. I forgot about that. And even
- 1:30with Joe, you know, he had like the makeshift spots a couple of
- 1:33times when he was like traveling or in the middle of for between here and
- 1:37I definitely facts. Man. It's crazy just how much things have changed,
- 1:44how the show has changed, you know, the type of stuff we're doing
- 1:48with it from how it started. And it's funny, man, because like
- 1:52a lot of people now, the podcast is like the new being a rapper,
- 1:56you know what I mean, everybody got a podcast. And I feel
- 2:00like we had a plan when we started executing this, and we've just kind
- 2:02of stuck to that formula and that plan open rocking with it and checking us
- 2:07out because you know, it's not really a gimmick what we're doing, you
- 2:12know what I mean. And when you can just line it up with what
- 2:15you on and what you're about, that's always going to be a win,
- 2:17you know what I'm saying. It comes down to, you know, there's
- 2:22a lot of content creators that you know, they have to have a strategic
- 2:28plan and type of content they want to put out in order to be in
- 2:32that algorithm that shows up in your feeds and your for you pages. And
- 2:38while we try to adhere to that, at the same time, we try
- 2:40to stick to the basis of what this we envision this podcast to be.
- 2:46Facts definitely, Man, well what do you think, Quincy, just as
- 2:51far as like the growth and how the show has evolved and stuff, and
- 2:54just kind of seeing where we was at when we started where we're at now
- 2:59kind of how do how does it hit you video? It's dope because it
- 3:02feels like now it's just literally as natural. It's like a part of our
- 3:07you know, we don't even have to think about planning, like when we're
- 3:08going to set things up, you know what I mean. It's really a
- 3:10part of our schedule. And it's not it's not something new anymore, you
- 3:17know what I'm saying. It's like we don't even I mean, we used
- 3:21to try to write down what we're going to talk about and super schedule it
- 3:24out, and like now we just jump on and just jump right into it,
- 3:28you know what I mean. It's like we get our topics, our
- 3:30outline and we already know where we're going out, we're doing it and it's
- 3:34just locked in. And man, that leads me to talk about something that
- 3:38I didn't think about talking about. But it's just it hit me when you
- 3:42said that now, Like for me, shout out to Freddy, shout out
- 3:47to my brother Franco. Me and Quincy talked about it too. It's just
- 3:53something that's really hit me lately, is just like understanding what you're bringing to
- 4:00the table and the amount of work that you've put in just in general with
- 4:04like different things in life and really leading with your best foot forward with those
- 4:10things. Like and let me explain basically what I'm saying is like all of
- 4:15us have different skills. All of us have different things that we're good at
- 4:19that we you know, Joe, you got your DJing, you know what
- 4:25I'm saying. You a taste maker, that's your vibe. Quincy, you
- 4:29know what I'm saying. He got his cooking. He got a lot of
- 4:31other things, you know, professionally going on as well. He got the
- 4:34music. You know. Me, I got the shop, the salon,
- 4:39the music production, you know what I mean, the camera work. There's
- 4:44like so many different angles that we can hit things from pause. But the
- 4:49dope thing about it to me is we got a track record behind it,
- 4:56all of us, Like everything that I mentioned for all of us and them
- 5:00the homie Freddy and including my brother Franco, we all got work behind those
- 5:08things and a track record and a quote unquote resume that people know we do
- 5:12that for real, you know, like they know that that we're locked in
- 5:17as far as like the things that we're tapped into. And I say that
- 5:21to say, this is the time, especially with hit An episode one hundred,
- 5:27especially just the way things are going and talking about the growth that we've
- 5:30had. It's like there's so many dope things that we could all bring to
- 5:33the table that could also like just elevate everything we're doing from every angle.
- 5:40You know what I'm saying. It's like the podcast is one thing, but
- 5:44the podcast isn't limited to just when we're recording and now this day, you
- 5:48know what I'm saying, Like, the podcast is like the community. The
- 5:51podcast is all those things that I'm talking about, all those different skills,
- 5:55all the things that everybody got going on. It's like, all right,
- 5:58how can we, you know, just everybody stay locked in in their path
- 6:03so that when we come together for stuff, it's that much more impactful because
- 6:08we all on it, you know what I'm saying. And there's so many
- 6:11things that all of us can bring to the table that we necessarily have like
- 6:16kind of like let slide to the side. Like for me specifically, it's
- 6:19like the photo and video, you know what I'm saying. I went so
- 6:21into artists mode and that thing in my head of like you can't be an
- 6:26artist and a videographer, you know what I mean, Like they got to
- 6:29see you like you a star or whatever. And it's like we were talking
- 6:30about with the podcast, it's like, nah, bro, we're doing things
- 6:33the way we know it works, not trying to do it the way everybody
- 6:38else is doing it just because you know that's the blueprint or that's the cool
- 6:42way to do it or whatever. You know, We're doing it in a
- 6:44real way. So just picking up on that is getting back on all that
- 6:49stuff that we can bring to the table to make things great, to really
- 6:54just lead with that. So it just hits every aspect of life, you
- 6:57know what I mean. Feel that we definitely was chopping that up earlier,
- 7:02and I mean I think that's a that's a really good I would say,
- 7:08revelation to really kind of come to because at the end of the day,
- 7:11like you said, we all kind of have our own talents, you know
- 7:13what I mean. And like even me, I think I mentioned to you
- 7:15earlier. Man, I was always good, well not always, but a
- 7:19few years ago I got really good with the stock stuff. You know.
- 7:23Yeah, you worked on and you did the reading, you did, you
- 7:27were really locked in, I remember every day. And then you know,
- 7:30I learned about all the corruption and all of the you know, the the
- 7:35ugly side of the stock market, which really detoret me from you know,
- 7:40being in the stock market. And I had a homie come to me and
- 7:42was like, bro, like you know how to maneuver it, you know
- 7:46what I'm saying, Like, yeah, it's trash, but you know how
- 7:48to work around it to make money. So why aren't you doing that?
- 7:51And it was just something so simple, you know what I'm saying that It's
- 7:54like, why did I take two years of time where I could have been
- 7:58making some bread, you know, And just because of I mean I would
- 8:03just call it pride, you know what I mean, Like, just because
- 8:05of my pride was mad at the fact that it was corrupt. When everything
- 8:09in society is corrupted, you know what I mean. So, you know,
- 8:13and then with that said, you know, for the last month,
- 8:16I've been back in the stock market, and it's crazy because in one month's
- 8:18time, I've made enough money to really completely shift my next few months of
- 8:24how I planned on handling things, you know, facts, And that's that's
- 8:28the thing, man Like, there's so many there's so many things in front
- 8:33of us, and we all fall into those comfortable patterns, and then you
- 8:37kind of like you realize that you're leaning back too much, and then you
- 8:41start sitting up being like, all right, man, like what am I
- 8:43doing right now? Like let us get back locked in, you know what
- 8:46I'm saying. It's you know, for me, I've kind of been so
- 8:50locked in to the the new business and just getting that off the ground and
- 8:56really focusing on it instead of saying, bro, I still got all these
- 8:58other things, these avenues that I could open up to make the money come
- 9:03from there, and I'm just focused on the things that are that are not
- 9:09moving as fast as I like to it, and I'm trying to kind of
- 9:11like nudge them along. When I just know, I just got to give
- 9:13it that time but still be all my other stuff at the same time.
- 9:16You know what I'm saying. That sucks, man, especially when when you're
- 9:20dealing with like, like life changing decisions things like that. I always go
- 9:26back to the quote like comparisons is a thief of joy. You know,
- 9:31it makes it hard to enjoy the things you got going on because you're comparing
- 9:33yourself to like what other people are doing. But that that's a good thing,
- 9:37And that's like, you know, comparing how different we all are by
- 9:41the same we all are. It's good to find you can have as many
- 9:45friends as you want, but you got to go to the friends that are
- 9:48gonna influence and kind of motivate a certain aspect of you. So when it
- 9:54comes to anything like content creation, creativity, podcasts like y'all are pretty much
- 10:00my main group. I go to this. People I've been with friends with
- 10:03for over twenty plus years who just don't do this, you know, who
- 10:05know nothing about this, And no matter how close we are, these dudes
- 10:09and my brothers, I don't go to them, and I haven't. I've
- 10:11had a podcast for two years. We probably talked about it for a total
- 10:13of six minutes in the two years. But it's good to focus your interests
- 10:20and have certain people you can go to to motivate and influence those interests.
- 10:24It's just like, oh, just because my close friends aren't fucking with it,
- 10:26I can't fuck with it. No. I have a group of people
- 10:30here who I'm cool with and I understand and they fuck with it like I
- 10:35fuck with and that kind of motivates me and influence me to keep doing the
- 10:37thing the way I look at it too, and that that is great you
- 10:41said that because it kind of brought me back to my train of thought with
- 10:43that is like I always I don't want everyonet to be the guy, the
- 10:48old guy that Tom has passed them by, like just as far as like
- 10:52for example, like with the AI, you know what I mean, Like
- 10:54my initial instincts is like, bro, what is this? I'm not messing
- 10:58with it? But that's what That's what dudes my age was saying when the
- 11:01Internet came around, when it was my age that I am. Now you
- 11:03know what I'm saying, Oh, I'm not going to get a computer.
- 11:07Oh that's that's kids stuff, or that's the you know, I'm not going
- 11:09to mess with that business has done old school whatever, and then look at
- 11:11thirty years later, it's a mainstay and they still don't know how to send
- 11:15an email. You know what I'm saying. I don't want to be that
- 11:18guy. So it's like just being tapped in what's going on, and even
- 11:22just thinking about the fact that, like we come from that era where it's
- 11:26like what you're doing in the behind the scenes stuff, it was always like
- 11:30nobody cares. They just want to see the final product, you know what
- 11:33I mean. That's where we came from. That thing has shifted now,
- 11:37bro, Now they want to see the progress. You know what I'm saying.
- 11:39People want to just rock with you, and then they support what you
- 11:43do if they rock with you. You know what I'm saying. It's a
- 11:46way different era. You know, back in the day, they was like
- 11:48putting stars in front of people or putting the people that would be the quote
- 11:52unquote influencers in front of you, like, hey, it is the person
- 11:54that you want to be like, and that's it. But now again with
- 11:58the Internet and all that stuff, everybody he could just tap into exactly what
- 12:01they want to be on, you know what I'm saying, And going back
- 12:05to that thing where like being a podcaster nowadays is like the new being a
- 12:09rapper. Everybody got a podcast, Yeah, everybody got a podcast. But
- 12:13if you're not talking about nothing, nobody's listening. And if you're talking about
- 12:16something, people are gonna tap in. They're gonna they're gonna have to weave
- 12:20through a lot of junk to find it, but once they find it,
- 12:22they're gonna lock in. Thanks. But yeah, man, something we talked
- 12:28about last week which kind of led into expanding on that thought was I don't
- 12:35know if anybody's seen it, and we'll probably do like a reaction video to
- 12:39that after this, but if anybody has seen the clip of Tank, I
- 12:43believe he was on Drink Champs for the clip, but he was basically just
- 12:46talking about how he can do a song like Please Don't Go and sing it
- 12:54and kind of it be the same style, almost the same song as Aam
- 12:58Smith Stay with Me, you know what I mean, the same vibe,
- 13:03same type of song. Everything. Sam Smith's song is gonna be a top
- 13:07forty number one hit. Tank's song is gonna be maybe a number one,
- 13:11but in the contemporary R and B category, and there's no difference. The
- 13:16only difference is it's a black man singing it. And what Tank was talking
- 13:20about is what I'm gonna lead into Quincy, so he can give the details
- 13:24on that because he has a little backstory to it as well. Yeah,
- 13:28So basically, you know, before I get into it, you know,
- 13:33I kind of want to just touch on. So my fiance and I we've
- 13:37been doing couples counseling now for a little over two years. It took us
- 13:43about three counselors to find the right person for us. But once we found
- 13:48that person, we've been going up, you know what I'm saying. We've
- 13:52been going up since then. And so one of the books that our counselor
- 13:56recommended for us to read is Love and Respect by Emerson Egrits. And I'm
- 14:03not a big reader. I like audiobooks personally. My fiance is a huge
- 14:07reader. But basically what we've been doing is she's reading it, I'm listening
- 14:11to it, and we kind of just dive into it and talk about it,
- 14:15you know. And so going back to the Tank situation, because there's
- 14:18a piece in the book that connects really well to what Tank was saying.
- 14:24And so basically Tank is saying that, like mainstream culture is pushing you know,
- 14:28violence, drug dealing, drug using, and all of these negative aspects
- 14:33in our black and minority community. When it comes to the music. However,
- 14:39when Sam Smith makes a song like Stay with Me that goes to top
- 14:43of the charts, it's pushed everywhere. Tank sings the same exact song and
- 14:48it gets limited bandwidth. And his point was is because our violence isn't the
- 14:52threat our love is. And so going back to the book that I was
- 14:56reading, basically in the the book, the doctor is insinuating that women crave
- 15:03unconditional love and men crave unconditional respect. Yet you know, the agenda that's
- 15:09pushed through music is men saying, you know, fuck bitches get money and
- 15:13women saying niggas ain't shit. And so it's literally breeding like a dysfunctional home
- 15:18through music wavefarm, you know what I'm saying. So that's kind of the
- 15:22dots that I connected between the two situations, which is crazy to me.
- 15:28Facts, man, there's a lot of layers to that for sure, man.
- 15:31And also it's one of those things where we even saw it in our
- 15:39trips to Atlanta, our quote unquote music industry time period, you know what
- 15:46I mean, because you see, there's a cookie cutter formula that you can
- 15:50follow and clearly get to at least a certain level to maybe get that look
- 15:56to make it to the next level, you know what I mean. And
- 16:00there's a pretty clear blueprint of what you have to do. And it's exactly
- 16:07what you're saying, Quincy. It's like you got to be on some ratchet
- 16:10stuff. You gotta vibe in these areas. You got to be around these
- 16:12certain type of people. This is the image they want, this the age
- 16:15they want, this the vibe they want, And you can literally just follow
- 16:18that to a t and just get all the details around the aura and the
- 16:23vibe right. And if you make the right moves, you're almost guaranteeing that
- 16:29you're gonna do something. You know what I mean, Because Bro, we've
- 16:33both seen it and we both know it. When it comes to street culture,
- 16:36Bro, there's one thing that's always going to be king the dude with
- 16:41a pocket full of money. Bro. It's the same thing we talk about
- 16:45with the Drake thing. Bro, everybody knows a dude in the hood that
- 16:48is not really hood, but he got a pocket full of money. So
- 16:52everybody lets him slide, you know what I'm saying. And at the end
- 16:56of the day, that money thing, dog, and just the way that
- 17:00you can kind of pay your way into an image or pay your way into
- 17:03a vibe or do things a certain way. And it's, like I said,
- 17:07it's almost like, all right, you checked all the boxes, let's
- 17:10try to bring you to that next level, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:11And it was the thing that deterred us and made us say, nah,
- 17:15Bro, this ain't This ain't the type of vibe that we're trying to be
- 17:18on, and these ain't the type of people we're trying to rock with.
- 17:21And like like where you were talking about Quincy with the industry basically saying the
- 17:26industry is trying to push violence and hate and not push love in the black
- 17:32and minority community. It's true because when we went to Atlanta, we saw
- 17:34that down to a t. That's exactly what that music industry is about,
- 17:41exactly what it is. And Bro, that kind of leads me to think
- 17:45about this, what do y'all think? Who's wrong them or us? You
- 17:51know what I'm saying, Like they pushing it to us, but we eating
- 17:55that shit up. Bro, you know what I'm saying. It's like the
- 18:00cat chasing his tail or the dunk chasing. You know what I'm saying,
- 18:02Bro, All three of us are huge Future fans. Dog. Yeah,
- 18:06the Future. He he do got some real stuff he'd be saying. But
- 18:11in between that, in between that, it's just a whole bunch of ignorance.
- 18:14Bro, He's just saying it in a cool way. Yeah yeah,
- 18:18I can't hear you, Joe. Oh yeah, No. Some of that
- 18:22stuff that Future says. Damned, it's crazy, but it sounds so good
- 18:29the way he's saying it. You just want to repeat it exactly, bro.
- 18:32And we all all ignorant stuff for sure, and we all fall into
- 18:34that category bro, you know, black and minorities, and we eat like
- 18:40like tanks that we eating it up, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 18:42they pushing it on us, but we also giving it the bandwidth, you
- 18:45know. And I feel like that goes into kind of like the nuanced thing
- 18:51that we've talked about, like, and we've talked about it a lot with
- 18:53rappers specifically. It's like a lot of people don't understand that rap is a
- 18:59game, rap is acting, rap is a scene, rap is a show.
- 19:04Yeah, you're listening to it, and you're you should listen to rap
- 19:08and take it at phase value, like if you're watching Terminator, you're watching
- 19:11Star Wars or something. Bro leave it there. You not leave the theater
- 19:17and try to freaking use the force on somebody outside. You know what I'm
- 19:21saying, Like, you understand that Star Wars is a you know, a
- 19:25show, you know fiction. You know understand that it's a movie. You
- 19:27know what I'm saying. You're not leaving a Marvel movie and going outside and
- 19:30trying to fly to freaking Thorist planet. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 19:33you understand the disconnect the same you know wrestling, bro Rap is wrestling.
- 19:41As soon as you're done with it, you understand that. You just watch
- 19:44the show, and I feel like that's like the part of it that falls
- 19:48into the nuance. It's just like we know so many dump broh. There
- 19:55was a dude we used to hang out, like when we all used to
- 19:57hang out when he was younger. Right at this point in our lives,
- 20:03we all had like a girl or like pretty much a baby. Mom's like
- 20:07all of us had a kid already, and everybody had a baby mom's at
- 20:11that point. You know what I'm saying. We was all dealing with our
- 20:12baby moms, like we was either still together or going through our thing whatever.
- 20:17But we all had a girl. And there was one particular dude in
- 20:19the group that we wouldn't make fun of him for trying to cake up girls
- 20:23and cake up girls basically means like we would try to say, like,
- 20:27oh, you're always trying to be a lover boy. You know what I'm
- 20:30saying. Keep in mind, we all got girls and kids, we got
- 20:34whole families. Making fun of this guy for trying to be romantic with a
- 20:40girl, and he believed this so much that he would try to dog chicks
- 20:45to like be like, nah, bro, I'm not on that, Like
- 20:48nah, no, dog. We all got girls, we all got kids,
- 20:52we got families, We having birthday parties with matching shirts and everything.
- 20:56And he's the only one believing that, you know, saying, Na,
- 21:00nah, bro, I'm not going to get locked down by these girls.
- 21:02Like bro, come on, you know what I'm saying. Definitely going to
- 21:06join the crowd. And that's the kind of thing I'm talking about, Bro,
- 21:08That's the kind of dude that we'll believe what the rappers are saying.
- 21:11You know what I'm saying, but it's still an interesting thing to think about
- 21:17from that point. That's who that fan base is too. The dudes who
- 21:19just want to be grimy and think that's just what how they're going to live
- 21:22by. Yep. The dudes that got done wrong by one girl in sixth
- 21:26grade and aren't mentally smart enough to understand that the girl that broke your heart
- 21:30was a child. Brother. I used to say too those Twitter days,
- 21:34and this was like over ten years ago. I was like, yo,
- 21:37I once in future, just just pretend like I'm heartbroken. I'm not even
- 21:41really heartbroken. I just want to pretend like it. Yeah, bruh,
- 21:45and dog, I swear it's what I just said. It's so crucial,
- 21:49bro. So many dudes build this persona off of a chick that did them
- 21:55wrong in middle school and high school. You got done by a child,
- 22:00My guy who was a child. She was a child. Y'all just had
- 22:06a stupid y'all was falling out over things when you know, you fell out
- 22:12with a chick when the most important thing in your life is playing Halo too,
- 22:15and you just now you cheat on every girl, like, Bro,
- 22:19grow up, Dog, grow up these these these like issues and stuff.
- 22:26And like you said, Quincy is kind of like chasing the tail type thing,
- 22:30Like is it just like from what we're seeing, you know what I'm
- 22:33saying, Because like where we grew up Quincy, none of us had a
- 22:37dad, Bro, Like you know what I'm saying. Your circumstance was different
- 22:40because he just wasn't physically able to be here because he was his life was
- 22:44cut short, way too early. But for us, it was like all
- 22:47our dads just left, like they were all alive and good and well,
- 22:49they were just all gone. And this whole neighborhood where nobody got a dad,
- 22:53no dad, asked everybody. That's crazy, Bro. I think the
- 22:59only person that had that dad was Edgar because they came from d R like
- 23:02the whole family mm hmm and the and uh Ricky and Damien. They had
- 23:07their father's stuff. Oh yeah, that was it. That was it though,
- 23:10right, Yeah, that was it. That's kind of crazy, bro.
- 23:12Yeah, I never thought about that. He had two bustfools of kids,
- 23:17tools Dog, and two of them had dads. Bro. That's crazy.
- 23:22That is wild, Bro. That is out of this world. Dog,
- 23:26it's crazy, man. And like you said, Quincy, like and
- 23:30when we talked about last week to the chicken of the egg thing, it's
- 23:33like, Bro, it's harder. It's harder. It's hard to thrive coming
- 23:36out of that dog. It's hard to drive, and it's hard to get
- 23:41to the point where we've gotten. Bro. You know what I'm saying.
- 23:42Yep. And that's why I sent that image in the chat, bro,
- 23:45because it kind of coincided with the whole clip because it's like, you know,
- 23:49that dysfunctionality, it translates over to you know, the the whole uh
- 23:56what do you call it? Kind of wage discrepancies that's far as like what
- 24:00people make. Yeah, Like you know what I'm saying, like the median
- 24:03household income. So I basically for the people listening, I basically sent over
- 24:07this image in our little chat basically kind of just showing like the median household
- 24:11income in the US. And I'm not gonna go through every you know,
- 24:17ethnicity because it's a lot, but I'll just do the top few and the
- 24:19bottom few. Basically, Jewish Americans we're at one hundred eighty eight thousand.
- 24:25Indian Americans were at one hundred and fifty two thousand Filipino Americans with at one
- 24:27hundred and nine thousand. Those are the top three and bottom three. Or
- 24:33basically, your average American is at sixty three thousand, Native American is at
- 24:37fifty eight thousand, and then African American is that fifty one thousand, and
- 24:41then I'm just gonna mention Hispanic and Latin Americans sixty five thousand. Brouh.
- 24:47I'm glad you brought that up, because I'm gonna keep it one hundred thousand
- 24:49on this bro. You you name the top people, right, and there's
- 24:56mad like most of them are minorities, right. And you named the bottom
- 25:02people and most of them are minorities, right. Dog. I'm Puerto Rican,
- 25:04Bro, I'm full Puerto Rican, one hundred percent. Mom and dad
- 25:08Puerto Rican. I was born in Puerto Rico. I came here from Puerto
- 25:11Rico. Dog. Puerto Ricans that I know are lazy, Bro, They're
- 25:18lazy. Dog. I'm gonna keep it one hundred thousand, Bro. I
- 25:25know mad people in my family and family friends that have come out here to
- 25:27try to make a way, and I know they weren't putting in the effort
- 25:32that they needed to be putting in to make it out here. Bro.
- 25:36It's hard, dog, But that's why Indians. Bro. You hear stories
- 25:40about Indians. Dog, they go to school out in India. They just
- 25:44look at what area. I mean, this is not everybody, but I'm
- 25:47just getting phone Yep. This is a scenario that that is true that I've
- 25:52heard from Indian families. Bro. They go to school to be a very
- 25:55specific type of doctor. They look at where in the United States they don't
- 26:00don't have that doctor, and they just come here and move here and go
- 26:03to that place. And that's it. Broh. Wow, you know what
- 26:06I'm saying. Then, and then we talk about the Asian community, Bro,
- 26:11they'd be moving out here, all living together, all working at one
- 26:15business, making something happen, saving brou. They're not, you know,
- 26:18they're not frivolous with their money and they're making it happen. Dog. I
- 26:22know mad Mexican people that are be on the same thing. They come together,
- 26:26they shack up in the smallest place that they could find. They worked
- 26:29their ass off, and in a year they living better than people that have
- 26:33been in the United States for twenty years. Though, Hey did it for
- 26:37us, and we came from Caly's you know what I'm saying, So I'm
- 26:41ana touch on that real quick pause. So basically, he had a hiring
- 26:44event yesterday at my job, huge hiring event. Majority black people came to
- 26:48the event, and it was really badly executed, I will say, to
- 26:56the point where it wasn't targeted, like the ads and stuff weren't target anybody.
- 27:00And everybody showed up. And so there were a lot of black people
- 27:04that came, and I mean honestly a lot of them, bruh, came
- 27:07looking crazz And so we had a meeting basically this morning talking about it,
- 27:14like and we were like, yo, you know, they needed to be
- 27:18better targeting with the ass We needed to be targeting people that actually have the
- 27:21credentials that actually, you know what I'm saying, can do the jobs.
- 27:23Like we were sending people out because it's like, Bro, they coming in
- 27:26there with strollers and their kids, like it's a Disney park, Like,
- 27:30Bro, you're supposed to be coming to get a job, Like what is
- 27:33happening? And so my bad, I got I gotta cut you off.
- 27:36I emma forget dog. It goes back to the thing we're talking about Dog,
- 27:40no dads, nobody there to teach you anything. Like the things that
- 27:44you're seeing around you is everybody just being mad lazy, Like it's the chicken
- 27:48of the egg thing. Bro, This is the catch twenty two on that
- 27:51dog, because I agree because we had one person on the call that was
- 27:53really passionate and saying exactly what you were saying, like very passionate, And
- 27:59I was like, look, I'm not judging nobody. I trust me,
- 28:03am all pro black, and I want all of us to succeed. But
- 28:06at the same time, you gotta look at it like this, if this
- 28:10is your business, would you want that person taking care of your mom?
- 28:14You know what I'm saying. And then on top of that, on top
- 28:15of that, I was in the same boat as them at one point,
- 28:21I didn't have nobody to teach me how to tie a tie. I learned
- 28:23from YouTube. But check this out, though, Dog, Think about all
- 28:27the extremely hard shit that you had to do to get to this point,
- 28:33not just regular hard shit, extremely hard shit working three jobs and going to
- 28:38school. At the same time, dog, like, do you really fault
- 28:42people because they're not literally sacrificing their whole life for five plus years to make
- 28:48something happen. Bro. Look, you know, I'm I get it.
- 28:52I do, and I get what you're saying too, because we've done that.
- 28:56Bro, We've put in the work to get out of the situations we
- 28:57was in. None of us living in an apartment complex, no more,
- 29:00Dog, you know what I'm saying. Like, we're not hanging with the
- 29:03homies no more. We're not on the block, no more. We not
- 29:07corner boys, no more. Dog, We are in houses in the suburbs.
- 29:11My guy, you feel me Like, so, I'm definitely feeling where
- 29:15you're coming from. But like you know me, Dog, I always like
- 29:18to look at the other side with it. Dog, we had to go
- 29:21through a lot of extremely hard shit that a lot of white people didn't have
- 29:26to go through that a lot of other you know what I'm saying, Like
- 29:30when you think about the ship, Like even what Joe's talking about, Brother,
- 29:33shit his family had to do to get to this point where he's able
- 29:36to get to the point where he's at professionally, Dog Like, it was
- 29:41extremely hard shit that a lot of people didn't have to necessarily go through.
- 29:47Bro. So it's like, you know, sometimes people just need a chance.
- 29:49Dog. You know, what I mean, like, obviously you have
- 29:52to show certain qualities in the ratchetness that is, you know what I'm saying,
- 29:59Like you have to, you have to you have to still meet the
- 30:02criteria. Of course, you know, it's not just give a chance to
- 30:04somebody that don't deserve it. But dog, there's a rose in the concrete.
- 30:08Dog. Yeah, So I think I don't think you. I don't
- 30:12think you really get it to go to the house. And that's that's the
- 30:15toughest. That's that's a give and take about this generation and like for less
- 30:19of for an instance, for you that the children you're raising, which they
- 30:22are great kids, but just because they don't experience the hardship they got to
- 30:26know what what what comes with having that hardship and having to go through the
- 30:30ship you didn't have to go through. I graduated from high school and I
- 30:36flew or not even flew. We drilled, We drove in the vand me
- 30:38and my father drove to the van of Pittsburgh and worked renovating Danny's restaurants overnight.
- 30:45That was my summer vacation. Not to graduate in high school because I
- 30:49didn't want to go to school and I didn't want to do shit with my
- 30:52life. My father's like, all right, so you come do do what
- 30:55I do. Then you work with your hands. It took me about two
- 30:57and a half months where we had it was like three in the morning.
- 31:00We drove to a random store in Pittsburgh. It's not in your Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania
- 31:07and they didn't like the wallpaper. So I'm there trying to put the wallpaper
- 31:11on. It's like three forty five in the morning. I haven't talked to
- 31:12any of my people because I'm working from two in the morning two in the
- 31:17afternoon, so I'm sleeping, like and this is post high school graduation where
- 31:19I thought it's gonna be the life I live, bro and experiencing what I
- 31:25thought I avoided my whole life and thought I wanted to do. And I
- 31:30broke down. Bro. I remember just breaking down the night. And then
- 31:33that's what my father told me. He's like, you have your chance here
- 31:36to choose where you want to go in life. You want to do this
- 31:38with me, or you want to go to school and get an education and
- 31:42not have to do this with me. And that's where I made the choice,
- 31:47and I was like, this ain't this ain't for me. Yeah.
- 31:51Yeah, after those two half months, he brought me back home and he's
- 31:55like, we're this weekend, I'm taking you back home when you're going to
- 31:57schools say less Man that that was the difference maker between who I am today
- 32:05and who I could have become. Man who said I wouldn't become successful e
- 32:07the way, but that definitely steered me to where I am right in the
- 32:12right direction. Yeah. Bro. So I know I've probably told you guys
- 32:16like little pieces of this and but I haven't really like told you the whole
- 32:21story. Bro. But like when when I was in high school, like
- 32:25towards the end of high school, Quincy knows that we had got signed to
- 32:29like a little record label. Right. It was me, my boy Richie,
- 32:32and my boy Josh. We was a rap group. It was a
- 32:36rap group of like five of us in the neighborhood. There was three of
- 32:38us that really stuck with it and the third actually it was two of us
- 32:44that really stuck with it. And then one we just picked up from school,
- 32:46which was Richie. You know what I'm saying. He went to school
- 32:49with us. I met him at football tryouts and we just hit it off
- 32:53and and he was a rapper. I was a rapper. We started making
- 32:55music together. He was dope and we was making dope music together. So
- 33:00he just ended up in the group. Two. We get signed to a
- 33:02record label out of Maitland, which is like in the middle of or Like
- 33:07it's in central Florida, like in Orlando. We get signed to a record
- 33:12label. We book a show opening for three six Mafia the House of Blues.
- 33:16So that's my first show. Bro, I've never done a show before.
- 33:20We just neighborhood rappers. Then we get it. We open it up
- 33:23for three six Mafia the House of Blues. We you know, we get
- 33:29to the show, kill it. Bro. It was. It went so
- 33:31dope. The crowd was super into I mean it was, bro. It
- 33:35was amazing. Bro. It was like one of like the craziest experiences in
- 33:37my life. We have the show. We we have like a little meet
- 33:43and greet type thing with three six Mafia in the backstage. You know,
- 33:46we were riding this high and then literally after that happens, we're all gonna
- 33:52move, like the whole everybody on the label, We're all gonna move to
- 33:57Cali, Bro to La. So like the dude that was our manager.
- 34:02He was based in it. Like he came from LA to Orlando, lived
- 34:06in Ortlanta for a little bit, and he was ready to go back and
- 34:07he was like, Bro, let's all you know. He was like,
- 34:09Yo, let's all pack up and we out were going to LA and we're
- 34:14gonna make this music thing happen, coming off that, coming off, you
- 34:19know, that performance, just getting signed. Everything kind of looking cool for
- 34:22us as far as like what we're doing, as far as artists and our
- 34:25vibe, our look. Everything cool. Right, some something goes, something
- 34:31goes on with my mom and she hits me up and she's like, hey,
- 34:36I'm about to move to Pennsylvania. I want you to come with me.
- 34:42Bro. I just I didn't even it wasn't even a thought for me.
- 34:45Bro. I'm like, all right, bet, I tell these dudes,
- 34:47hey, I'm about to move to Pennsylvania with my mom. She needs
- 34:52me dog. And everything falls apart. Bro. I moved to instead of
- 34:57going to LA signed, like coming off all that and everything, I had
- 35:02to go to Pennsylvania and work in a warehouse. Bro in the middle of
- 35:07the winter where it was like a warehouse with the where the sheets, you
- 35:10know, the the aluminum doors that slide up, Dog, So the things
- 35:15was open because it was like a warehouse where they're bringing mad apple products.
- 35:20You know what I'm saying to like basically ship out, to box up together
- 35:23and ship out, Bro. And it's dumb cold. Bro. It's like
- 35:28blizzard time, literally, Bro, Like we went through a blizzard while we
- 35:31was there. Dog. I'm from Puerto Rico, Bro, Fort Rico,
- 35:36Texas and Florida is the places I've lived. Dog. And I'm supposed to
- 35:40be in La signed to a label with my label mates, and I'm in
- 35:45Pennsylvania in a warehouse in fucking blizzard weather. Bro. Waking up at three
- 35:52thirty in the morning to go to work at the warehouse to come home at
- 35:57like seven or eight Bro at night like just going crazy because you know,
- 36:04just because my mom needed my help, Bro, and and I just you
- 36:07know what I'm saying, I had to be there. That's a sacrifice.
- 36:09You didn't know how big of a sacrifice you made at that young of an
- 36:14age, Bro, I didn't know. Dog. It just wasn't even a
- 36:17thought. Wow, it wasn't even a second thought in my head. Bro.
- 36:21I was just like, my mom needs me I'm gone. Like they
- 36:23was mad at me. I had to kind of I had to wait like
- 36:27the contract out because I was like signed for five years, you know what
- 36:30I'm saying, And like after I left, bro, everything kind of just
- 36:32fell apart. But they still had the rights to like my music for the
- 36:36next like two or three Like it was like three more years. It might
- 36:39have been like four more years, bro, but you know what I'm saying.
- 36:42So I had to kind of like I didn't really want to do nothing
- 36:45musically because I knew that if if anything happened, they were going to get
- 36:50all the money, you know what I'm saying. So I kind of just
- 36:52waited that out. And like, Bro, it's just crazy, like crazy
- 36:57crazy crazy, like like all the twists and turns that my life has taken
- 37:01and like all those you know, left when I could have made a right
- 37:06rights when I could have made a left, you know what I'm saying,
- 37:07And just like, but I'm where I need to be, you know what
- 37:10I'm saying. Like that, that that's that's a big part of how I
- 37:14evaluate. There's sometimes I go deep into the decisions I made in life,
- 37:20and I'll be it a lot of them. I wish I would have chosen
- 37:23differently. I'm like, maybe I would have not been wearing AT today.
- 37:28Like sometimes I wish things went better for me than they did, but then
- 37:32that would affect me being here wearing AT today, And there's nowhere else I'd
- 37:38rather be than wear I'm at today. That's the question. Choose that ship.
- 37:43Yeah, I feel that my bad for cutting you off, but it's
- 37:45honestly, bro, There's something that I've wanted to ask you, but I've
- 37:50never asked it because I kind of feel embarrassed to ask it, But I
- 37:54want to. I want your honest answers for this. When we were in
- 37:59high school, what was your like perception of me? When I met you?
- 38:09I felt I thought like you kind of like were the you know how
- 38:15like you see, like the leader in the neighborhood. Yeah, you kind
- 38:19of came off as like the person that everybody kind of followed, you know
- 38:22what I mean, definitely like in school because like and like that's kind of
- 38:27what I want to know, like because I was like the one that was
- 38:30like I was in school, but like I wasn't going to school all the
- 38:35time. I was kind of hanging out with like the older kids and like
- 38:38into some shit that I shouldn't have been into. So it was like I
- 38:43always wondered like like how y'all like kind of perceived that, you know what
- 38:49I mean, And just like because I like when I look back at it
- 38:52now from you know, just growing up and just knowing like how stupid I
- 38:57was being. Yeah, you was another Yeah that's exactly what I like.
- 39:02Nah, But I thought that was just kind of like you know, like
- 39:07your personality, you know what I'm saying. And that's another reason why it's
- 39:09so funny to me sometimes of how like introverted you are now compared to how
- 39:14like extroverted you were then, you know what I'm saying. It's a complete
- 39:16difference. And even like kind of tying it into that Cali thing, like
- 39:21almost moving to Cali out of high school, Like I think about it like
- 39:25that that's who I was at that time. Imagine me going to LA like
- 39:30that, like no house training. I didn't really like you know what I
- 39:35mean, like I was. I was just so like spaced out like mentally
- 39:39almost like it's like if I would have went that way, bro, I
- 39:43don't think it would have went well for me. It probably exactly it could
- 39:45have went down a whole bad road. Yeah, that's when you look back,
- 39:51and that's those what ifs that you just got to give up. And
- 39:53I wonder how I would have went because you accepted the way it went.
- 39:58Now yep, Bro, Like it's crazy, dog, because like I literally
- 40:05and it's bro. It's something that I've even talked about with my wife recently.
- 40:08Like it's crazy for me cause like all all my friends, like all
- 40:15my old friends, they're still around, bro, you know what I'm saying,
- 40:19And I missed them, dog, you know what I mean, Like
- 40:21I'm not going to front here, like I don't want to be around them,
- 40:23like I want I want to see my guys, you know what I'm
- 40:25saying. Like these are people that I grew up with, the people I'm
- 40:29known from like elementary, middle school, you know, right out of high
- 40:31school, like hanging out and stuff. But it's like, Dog, the
- 40:35stuff that they're on, I just can't be on that stuff. You know
- 40:38what I'm saying, Like I just got it. It goes back to the
- 40:40thing that we talked about with you know, doctor disrespect and just all these
- 40:45people that be fucking up bro diddy, all that stuff. Man, it's
- 40:49like, Dog, these dudes knew what they had to avoid, you know
- 40:52what I'm saying, They just couldn't avoid it, right, you know what
- 40:57I'm saying. And for me, Bro, I'm not gonna lie do Sometimes
- 41:00it'd be hard for me to like avoid it all the time, you know
- 41:04what I'm saying. Like, and it's like one of those things where it's
- 41:07like, like I said, Dog, it kind of messes with your head
- 41:10when it's like all you knew growing up type thing, you know what I
- 41:14mean. And it's like sometimes I feel like it's unfair, Like dang,
- 41:16why can't I hang out with my friends? You know what I mean.
- 41:20That's kind of how I look at it, Like why can't I just go
- 41:22hang out here and there or whatever? But it's like, nah, Bro,
- 41:25like when when when things don't line up, things don't line up,
- 41:29you know what I mean? Yeah, that's I mean. I think we
- 41:34all probably have those friends. That's like that. I think you know that
- 41:38with growth come sacrifice, and sometimes that's just part of the sacrifice, I
- 41:43feel you, dog, And part of it was my own decisions. But
- 41:46all my friends are like that. It's every single one, bro, Like
- 41:52literally the only like the only people that are like out of it is probably
- 42:00you, Edgar, Izzy, Kevin, Kevin, and ricky mm hmm.
- 42:08That's literally five people, Bro, that I can think of right now specifically
- 42:13that I could say, all right, they they're like out of there in
- 42:17the clear. You know what I'm saying. I'm gonna be real though,
- 42:20I can't think of too many more that on the bulls dog like upstanding citizens.
- 42:29Yeah, Bro, that's it, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 42:31that's it. And I also think that, you know, if you
- 42:36didn't have, if you were in the life situation that you are in now
- 42:38with a family, a wife and stuff like that, you probably would you
- 42:43probably be looking at a little different you know what I'm saying, You got
- 42:45you got things to consider. Always say, dog, that my daughters in
- 42:51my life, like just the one was that I couldn't be no dead beat.
- 42:58That's the only like, that's literally the only thing that kept me going
- 43:00in the beginning because like, like when it came to me, Bro,
- 43:05I did not care, you know what I'm saying, Like I just tossed
- 43:07myself to the side. But when it came to her, it was like,
- 43:10nah, Bro, like this ain't no way, dog, she ain't
- 43:14going through none of this stuff. I recorded a song before she was born,
- 43:16dog that I want to find man like, and I literally called it
- 43:21before my daughter, and it was literally just me like writing what I wanted
- 43:27to be for her, you know what I mean, Like like you definitely
- 43:30got to find that, yeah, and I know I have it somewhere and
- 43:31I got to find it. And it really and it literally just touches on
- 43:35like the stuff we talked about, Like it's like it's crazy with music,
- 43:38bro, Like you can put those spots down and you don't even know that's
- 43:42like that you're really putting those stocks down because like, really, what I
- 43:45was talking about there is like, Bro, I've been through so much stuff
- 43:47that I don't want her to go through none of it. You know what
- 43:50I'm saying. I just want her to like the filter of me, like
- 43:54fucking up. You know what I'm saying. I just want to pass her
- 43:57the game and set her up. And it's like you don't got to go
- 44:00through none of it, but you're gonna You're gonna learn from the things that
- 44:04I did wrong and things that I've seen, you know what I mean.
- 44:07That's dope. Literally, like that was just like she was just my like
- 44:12guidance star and that was it. Like everything literally is from her, Like
- 44:15she's like the pillar of like me elevating in life, like it all is
- 44:21like she's that that thing, you know what I mean, like the north
- 44:23star of it always. And obviously after that, you know, it was
- 44:29even her before my wife, you know what I mean, Like in the
- 44:31beginning, you know, because like like I was saying, bro, like
- 44:36you know, I wasn't My mind wasn't all there in them stages, you
- 44:39know what I mean. So it was like it was her, then it
- 44:42was my wife, and then when I had my son, you know what
- 44:44I mean. Like, but it was like a growing process because of what
- 44:46we're talking about, bro, Like a lot of those good things weren't there
- 44:51for me so that I can kind of I had. I had to grow
- 44:53through stupid shit, you know what I mean, Like I didn't have nobody
- 44:58to say, nah, I don't do that, you know what I mean?
- 45:00Like, and bro, it's crazy, man, Just like I wanted
- 45:04to reflect on a lot of just life stuff and I'm glad y'all y'all was
- 45:08able to open up and we was really able to different things. Because episode
- 45:14one hundred of the podcast, it's a big episode. People been locked in
- 45:17with us. I really feel like it's dope to give them that start and
- 45:22just let them know, like really like the specific things we've been through and
- 45:24like different things that have shaped us and what has gotten us to this point.
- 45:29And just and I say that to say this, Bro, the stuff
- 45:31we're saying on this podcast, and we've been saying from the beginning, is
- 45:36real life stuff. You know what I'm saying, and were coming from,
- 45:38were coming at it from a point of view that is one hundred percent verified.
- 45:44You know what I'm saying, Like, we talking to you as dudes
- 45:46that have put in the work and have seen the fruit of the work,
- 45:50and we know these things work because we make it happen. And the fact
- 45:52that we all three minorities coming at it and making it happen is even more
- 45:58of a testament because we've worked through those issues as well. You know what
- 46:01I'm saying, Like, Bro, when I came here, my family didn't
- 46:05know how to speak English, Bro, and now we're in the position that
- 46:08we owning businesses, owning property, making stuff happen. Not different than the
- 46:13past facts, man, Like y'all, bro, Like the things y'all have
- 46:17done and are doing are like major things, you know what I'm saying.
- 46:22And it's just, you know, like I was saying earlier, we come
- 46:24from the era where it's like you just show you your proof and that's like
- 46:32what gets you along or whatever. But now it's like people want to see
- 46:36the progress. People want to see the scars, you know what I'm saying.
- 46:38Like it's a different world that we're coming up in, and we got
- 46:40that, you know what I'm saying, Like, we got those real stories
- 46:44and we've been through that real stuff. And if that's something that we got
- 46:46to tap into to lead into these next hundred episodes, you know what I
- 46:51mean? Yeah, we shall exactly. But yeah, man, as far
- 46:57as me what I got going on, We got our next softball game.
- 47:00Do We started owing three and then we've run the table, haven't lost since
- 47:04to the point where our last game we have to face the best team to
- 47:08make the playoffs, Bro, when they're go home. So man, I
- 47:13wouldn't have it any other way. That's going to be super dope. We
- 47:15have the underdog story of the century. We know, we just want to
- 47:19make We're gonna come through. If y'all want to bet on us with like
- 47:22plus one yo, and then my son's league. We're about to play the
- 47:28only team that's beat them. If we beat them, we tied for first
- 47:30on Saturday, so I'm super hype about that. We had our first practice
- 47:34with me as coach on Wednesday. Wore on mouth. They was tired.
- 47:37Bro sweatings, Yeah, water breaks, you know what I'm saying, Get
- 47:43all right, yep. I was making sure they understand that they need to
- 47:47get in an open position when we're on offense. They need to be ready
- 47:52to shoot. I don't want y'all looking off to the side. I don't
- 47:54want you to have to set up and turn around, like be ready to
- 47:58score. The team that we about to play they got some giants, dog.
- 48:00You know what I'm saying. I need my team to be able to
- 48:04hit these jump shots. So he was locked in. I'm excited to see
- 48:07how the game goes. I'm nervous, excited, man, but I know
- 48:08we don't make it happen. And then Sunday, Bro it all culminates in.
- 48:15It's gonna be the first time that I get to hold my nephew dog
- 48:20to hold them. I'm so hyped. It's you already know brom about had
- 48:27a soft guy tier. Bro. Bro, I'm gonna be blubbering all my
- 48:36guy. Man. That's funny. Yeah, man, Bro, when it
- 48:40like it's funny, Man, I'm like real like stone face and real serious
- 48:45and stuff like the outside people. Bro. But like with family stuff,
- 48:50Bro, I'm a big soft dog. Like when my kids go to school
- 48:54on the first day when they do something mad cool, I cry. You
- 49:00know what I'm saying, Like when I watched things, I cried like,
- 49:02Bro, I'm like the biggest softy, low key bro. But yeah,
- 49:07man, I know Quincy got a lot going on with the job and the
- 49:12wedding coming up. Bro. We're all, man, we all have some
- 49:15some dope times. Man. I feel like the last few episodes we were
- 49:20all like coming out of like rough stages, just as far as like locking
- 49:22in with work, locking in with business, just ups and downs of life.
- 49:27I already know, man, and we've just been locked in Man,
- 49:30And I'm hype. I'm excited because I feel kind of validated from the point
- 49:37of view that I picked you guys to do the show with because I knew
- 49:42y'all was gonna be locked in, and I felt I just had a feeling,
- 49:45you know what I'm saying. I was like, imagine on their stuff
- 49:49and they're gonna be locked in. And y'all have been locked in, man,
- 49:52And I'm super grateful to y'all for you know, locking in with the
- 49:55show and you know, giving it the importance that it deserves, because,
- 50:00like I said, man, we're talking about some real stuff here. Man.
- 50:02Yeah. Now, I remember the first couple episodes I had. I
- 50:06listened to them. Man, I just love the whole layout and a whole
- 50:09motion behind it, you know, coming from having a full year of having
- 50:14my own podcast, and this was in twenty seventeen when it was brand new,
- 50:17and the format that I dated compared to the format that we're doing here,
- 50:24it's such a different transition. It's such an appreciated transition. It takes
- 50:28the pressure off having to be so much in real time to just keep up
- 50:32with the algorithm and the trends and improved still how just genuine you know,
- 50:38constructive content can still get you the views and the engagement that you're looking for.
- 50:45Yeah. Man, we pretty much just worked out the kinks as far
- 50:47as like how to present the stuff that we want to present in a way
- 50:52that people are locked in with it. And like you said, like you
- 50:55said, Joe, we you know, we've we've made it work with our
- 51:00formula and what we want to present. We haven't you know, even like
- 51:04with the reaction stuff we've done and the different stuff we've done as far as
- 51:07tapping into current events, We've always approached it with the mindset of the theme
- 51:13that we want to stay in, which is staying grounded, you know,
- 51:15sticking to your pillars when it comes to you know, things that you're gonna
- 51:21do as far as morally in your life and bro a lot of the stuff
- 51:25that we've been talking about lately has been people failing morally, you know what
- 51:30I'm saying. And I feel like this podcast, this show, this vibe
- 51:35is a good thing to keep people in that line, you know what I'm
- 51:37saying to always remember, you know, kind of like from Tropic Thunderdog,
- 51:42you can't go full, you know what I'm saying. You can't go full.
- 51:45When you go full, that's when you cross the line. So you
- 51:50know, that's something I always even just carry with me when I'm going through
- 51:53the dark times. You know what I'm saying. I know I can't go
- 51:55full because I still got a plan I'm executing. I'm still lining up and
- 52:00that's the thing that keeps me focused when, like I'm saying, bro,
- 52:02you know, sometimes you want to falter and you realize like nah, man,
- 52:08like I can't go full. You know what I'm saying, and never
- 52:12go full, Never go full if you know, you know, I hope
- 52:16you know exactly. Never hold her back then last word, yeah man,
- 52:22but yeah, man, whatever y'all want to leave them with leave them with
- 52:27it because we ready to sign outn Hey, go ahead, stay all the
- 52:31way as better as you can never be. Yo. We said that we
- 52:36were in the meal the States. We did it, you ca. Yeah.
- 52:42So one time I was I used to get really lit on these episodes,
- 52:46right, like really to the point where if you go back on some
- 52:52episodes the last ten minutes, I'm just like, so I try to say
- 52:59stay ground I tried it. I was here and I was like, hell
- 53:01yeah, I was in the mode. I was like out. You know,
- 53:07when I went to go stay stay grounded, I was like, yeah,
- 53:09everybody's just stay yo. We got that, and not nobody counted that
- 53:16I thought nobody caught it either until like a week later like definitely said stay
- 53:22butter, And I was like, I don't know what I said, but
- 53:24the clip and it was literally like so clear, like how you trying to
- 53:29say stay grounded and stay stayed buttered, yo, And it just became the
- 53:38sign off after that, Bro, I'm going to pull that clip up for
- 53:42the one hundred and we got it. We got to we got to just
- 53:46bro let the whole g fans in because they know, brother, I've never
- 53:51said state butter ever in my entire life. Just like you know, that's
- 53:55never been a phrase or sign off that I remember using my life. It
- 54:00came out so far from ground and how did you like? That was definitely
- 54:05a missfire in my dog bring list, Yo? What you call frodian slip
- 54:10yo? Fags man, Yeah, that's that's the origins dog. And with
- 54:16that you already know, Joe, stay better. Puffy, do not county
- 55:51Puffy dot not Puspy, do not county Puspy, do not counter act not
- 57:07a not after acunding ever Act
