- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And today we have an amazing guest on.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: It's Jay Genepathy, and she is the CEO and founder of FinAccurate.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: And she is remarkable.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: I was like reading her bio and I was like, oh my God, this woman does not stop.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: So besides being a mom and a wife, she is a certified accountant, cost and management accountant.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: You obviously love numbers.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Okay, so now there's an IRS enrolled agent, you are Main Street certified tax advisor, you have your executive MBA, and I think I missed something in there as well.
- 1:45SPEAKER_00: And you started FinnAccurate.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: So again, welcome.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: And first of all, like tell me a little bit about your journey and how you became the, you know, your journey to the leadership position of the CEO of this company.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Thanks, Jacqueline.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Thanks for having me on your uh podcast.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: Uh, I'm honored to be here.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Uh, appreciate the invite.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Uh so yeah, uh, my name is Jainti Karapati.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: I do go by Jake.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Um, I'm always been an um accountant.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: So since my sixth grade, I uh found that I had uh interest towards numbers, and uh it all started from there, but then eventually uh I took uh accounting as my education in my 11th grade, uh, and then uh going into college, studying for bachelor's in accounting, and then a gradual transition was into be certified as an accountant.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: So all of my education was in India.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Uh, I'm a chartered accountant from India, which is a professional education similar to uh the CPA in the US.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I not only did that, but um I also did three professional education uh uh certifications parallelly, cost and management accounting, which is uh another um uh you can say another CPA, and then also I did uh corporate law in India.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: So all three professional education each are like about four years, and I did all of all of them parallelly.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: So did all three in India and then I landed in a corporate job as a financial accountant.
- 3:19SPEAKER_01: Um that's the only company worked for uh almost 11 years.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: I started as a financial accountant, it's a multinational company.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Uh uh, worked started working for them in uh India, southern part of India, Chennai, and I was there.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Even though I was working in India for that company, I was handling North America operations for that company.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: It was a global shared service center.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: So started there uh seeing my work and uh I got uh promoted very soon there.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: And also an opportunity opportunity opened up in Australia for the same company.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: So they had me move there.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: So I worked in Sydney, Australia for about a year and a half, too.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: And then again, as part of a multinational company, again another uh interesting, challenging opportunity opened up in the United States in 2009.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: So they offered me to go move to uh uh US from uh Australia.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: So 2009, I came here and uh I didn't know this is going to be my destination.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: So I moved around.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Finally, I found my uh journey and my uh uh what the real journey started after coming here from 2009 to 2015.
- 4:33SPEAKER_01: I worked for the multinational company, I was part of two major acquisitions, so as a corporate accountant, so I've done a lot of uh post-major uh merger integration projects while I was with them, and then eventually became uh accounting controller for the same company.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: I did large uh uh acquisition and also finance transformation projects with the same company.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: So I was in the corporate environment, working long hours, working hard, and uh growing as a corporate accountant.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So since at one point I felt I've I'm growing as a technical accountant, too, I had the education as a cost accountant and working closely with small businesses was really my interest.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: As I was growing in the corporate ladder, I was more and more getting into a technical accountant kind of a profile, which didn't interest me.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: I didn't feel like this is not something I want to do for the rest of my life.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: So that's when I realized uh um I have to start something on my own.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: So I made a decision and it was a bold move because I had no idea of um starting a business on my own.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: I have no entrepreneurial background, either me or in my family.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: So I I all I knew was I didn't want it to grow as a corporate accountant, I have to do something else.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: So that that was all.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: So I decided to quit my job, high-paying corporate job with zero clients on hand.
- 5:57SPEAKER_01: So I booked, uh, took that bold move in 2015 and uh started Finacurate at that time.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, wanted to work with uh closely with small business owners.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: We started off as providing bookkeeping and CFO services, and uh started uh networking and finding clients uh close by in uh Boston, which helped me grow to uh certain level.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: Within six months, I was able to replace my corporate uh salary.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: So that was uh that initially finding clients was a challenge, but then within uh two clients, I was able to replace my uh corporate uh salary, which helped me a lot to go uh go further.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: So that's where the journey started.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: I can maybe uh share more uh well I well I first of all I wanted to ask you.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, first of all, it's absolutely fascinating.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So a couple things.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: So your like going back to your core like when you're starting at the corporate level.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: That your journey, you know, I I find it so inspiring that you were given the opportunity or and or taken the opportunity to, you know, obviously be in a great position in India and then again coming to the United States.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: So tell me a little bit about that.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, who inspired you or was there a person like in that lead when you're thinking about leadership, you know, not everybody is offered that.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: So how did that how did that come out about?
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: It's a very good question because uh that's the key to my next steps in my career, because uh it was not the opportunity was not like uh always given to me or uh so the one thing in my throughout my career is I always focused on what I'm doing in the present.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: So not just what the job is required of me, I pour my passion, love into the work and really work hard.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: So when um I at some point in my corporate job as well, uh I always wanted to, okay, I have this current role, I'm doing this.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: What do I need to do to go to the next level?
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: So I always ask my managers that if I need to get promoted, what do I need to do?
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: Not just promotion, it's not about promotion.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: I if this is my career goal, if I have to go to the next level, what do you uh see me like me doing it?
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: So I always understand what's up next for me, and I volunteer myself to do that job.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: I've done that many times at the corporate world, though my job profile doesn't require me to do, say, I was a corporate accountant, I really wanted to be in the FPA, financial planning and analysis, um, understand that, go to that next level.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: So I talked to that FPA manager here and uh I told him I want to get involved in these projects.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Uh then I just started going early to work, uh spending a couple of hours more doing those extra jobs at work.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: So I volunteered myself to do the next level.
- 9:06SPEAKER_01: So when uh the managers see that, when I'm able to help the organization grow and go to the next level, that's when opportunities come to come.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: Anyone, for that matter.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: So how am I how am I contributing to the growth of the organization?
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: When someone sees that, they want that that's the kind of person the organization is looking for.
- 9:27SPEAKER_01: Who can help me achieve this organizational goal?
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: Is this person showing that uh attribute?
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Then you are immediately going to be the first choice.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: That's how, like, I uh uh I think every single step in my career that I took happened to me that way, seeing that I'm just I'm going beyond what I'm doing at work and always showing that interest, going to that next level, having that goal.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: So that's how each opportunity landed on my plate.
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: So it's that's my so did you do you feel that that is something that was like where did you learn that?
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: You know, was it was it something from your family, or did you have, was there a manager or somebody that said to you, hey Jay, you know, if you want to get ahead, or hey Jay, let's talk about your career path.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Each and like what do you need to do?
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: So where do you where do you feel like it was uh given to me or told to me?
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: I was always I always had aggressive goals about my career.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: It's uh it's not uh I cannot uh stay in a comfort zone.
- 10:37SPEAKER_01: I always have to be doing multiple things.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: It started from my uh me doing three professional education at the same time.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: One, uh doing just the chartered accountant uh say profession itself was challenging, but I didn't stop there.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: I always had to challenge myself with the doing more things.
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: That's even more challenging.
- 10:57SPEAKER_01: That that's one thing I didn't realize I had that, but uh now looking back, that's what I had in me from my education to my corporate job to go venturing into entrepreneurship.
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: I could go back, uh, looking back, I can see that this is the attribute I had I have in me.
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what is helping me go to the next level.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: I don't think it's anyone telling me if you do this, I will uh that will take you.
- 11:23SPEAKER_01: It's just me uh always focusing on and having an aggressive goal more than what I can do and not uh staying uh uh in a comfort zone and uh being content with what I have.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: No, that's it's it's really it's it's fascinating.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: So, you know, if you're thinking about that, so is there anybody that you think about in your life that's like an inspiration that you'd be like, okay, like that person that's that you know, like who is that person for you?
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: Definitely a it's uh a lot of uh people in the corporate world, uh, the uh CFO at that time and uh and not the manager as a role model, but uh they are also the people who uh uh offered me that opportunity to go to the next level.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: So uh they recognize the talent and not uh um that there were no politics or anything.
- 12:13SPEAKER_01: So the it's rare to see managers who can recognize the talent and then take you to that next level.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: So I would say I was fortunate to have every step I took in my career, I had that right person in that environment, be it my manager or the uh CEO of that organization who recognized the talent and then will directly come to me and talk to me, skipping my managers and recognize that talent.
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: So that opportunity I always had.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, throughout my corporate career, there were so many people who inspired and uh uh my direct managers too uh in my corporate job in Boston.
- 12:51SPEAKER_01: Uh, he also had like multiple degrees and a hard worker.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: He was in his uh um uh 60s and still working like very long hours at work and uh very intelligent, how he questions at meetings and everything.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: I get inspired working with the smart people like that.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: So definitely I was fortunate to work with a lot of uh great managers who recognize the talents as well.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: That's right, that is that's really great.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: So talk to me then about you know, as now that you started your company and you're the CEO, how do you do the same for your team?
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: And how and how big is your team?
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: So I have a total of 20 people working for us.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: We have a team in India, and I have a staff here in the US and a couple of people, uh one in El Salvador, El Salvador, and one uh tax accountant in Canada.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: So we're kind of spread out.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: Uh in the Boston office, is it's me and one other person, uh, but we are like 20 people organization, all working uh remotely.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: The team in India, we have an office in India, so they work there.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: Uh so uh since I know how I see my team, is I always remember how I started, who helped me, how I was recognized and uh appreciated for my work and given the next level of opportunity.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: That's how I see I uh my my employees to go.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: I always uh tell them to not just focus on their work but also continuing education and then giving them challenging assignments and giving them the opportunity to go do it themselves, even if they make mistakes.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: Uh I one of my staff always tells me, how how come you never get angry even if we make mistakes?
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: Because I knew uh that's how I grew.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: I made mistakes in while while I was a financial accountant at the junior level.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: So I knew you, it's not that you are making that mistake intentionally, you are learning, you will go to the next level.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: As long as you're not making the same mistakes again and again, you're learning from it, that is fine.
- 15:02SPEAKER_01: So I can really appreciate where they come from because that's how none of these positions were given to me.
- 15:09SPEAKER_01: I worked hard to get there.
- 15:10SPEAKER_01: So I can see the same thing.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: As long as uh they are making real effort to go prove themselves at work, I recognize it.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: So go and always present them the opportunity to go to the next level.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: I think that's uh such a key point there, too, what you've just said.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: And I and and for to the listeners, remember like that is a huge insight.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: That couple things, like number one, don't get upset at people, they're learning.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, if they if they are making the mistake over and over again and they're not learning, that's that's a mistake.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: But if they make a mistake, even if like it's twice, it's like remember, you did that before, now you like you know, maybe it's put a post-it note to remember like this is your check and balance, right?
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: Because it's true, and and I and I would say it's the same thing in li in with parenting or you know, life like you know, getting upset for somebody for a mistake that they didn't do as long as the people are trying, yes, that is a huge, huge part of that.
- 16:13SPEAKER_01: And they are aware they may they're they they're acknowledging it and then learning from it and moving on.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: So that's the that's what you look for in a employee.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: And it and and not try to lie about it.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Exactly, right?
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so that's really that's really true.
- 16:33SPEAKER_00: And it's and that's actually a quality to I think for for a leader to think about when you're also in the hiring process.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: Like if that's something, obviously we hope that everybody is truthful, but also it's the it's the it's like the like the parent saying to the kid, right?
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: If you drink, I will just pick me up, just pick up the phone, call me, I will pick you up wherever you are, no questions asked, and not get upset so that they feel comfortable because if it's creating that environment of comfort so for people to grow.
- 17:11SPEAKER_00: So I absolutely love that.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: So the other thing I want to so where are you like in like you know, where is your leadership going with your company right now?
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Like if you could say, if I could if I could work on one thing or two, what would that be?
- 17:31SPEAKER_01: Um definitely it's it's a challenge uh being uh the owner CEO of the company and uh still wearing multiple hats.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: So we are in our 10th year, and uh um I still am the person who is doing the sales and uh taking care of marketing and still executing strategies for uh work deliverables and having a team.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: And uh, though I always uh go uh want to spend more time uh with my uh employees and help them grow and everything, but uh you will always don't find that time to do it all until you get to another uh level.
- 18:09SPEAKER_01: So going into 2025, our my goal is to have another level like CEO who can take care of, be that person, be that leader for my staff, be more available to them than me.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: So where where my time is more focused on the strategy and uh forward looking and taking the company to the next level.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: So that's that's one thing I've as a small business CEO, entrepreneur, it's a challenge.
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: And it has always been a challenge for a long time.
- 18:41SPEAKER_01: But I I would say now we are a team of 20 people and we have a lot a lot of the work being done by the team.
- 18:47SPEAKER_01: Now I'm able to get to that level.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: But I feel I felt uh that uh I have to be more available for my employee to help them uh grow in the areas that they are lacking.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: So that's still something I need to improve on, but I'm working towards that for the next uh year or two.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: That's that's from a leadership perspective and also from a leadership perspective.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: Uh in the last few years, what I realized I have to do more for my employees to show them, though I I always think about uh the one-year, three-year, five-year goals, but uh um in the last in the in this year, we really started sharing all of that vision with our employees.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Uh so uh um uh I didn't realize the impact that will have on the staff.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: Now the feedback that I'm getting from my staff, now we can see a clear vision where my I am going to be in the growth of the organization organization as you share these visions with us.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: So I felt um sharing, uh sharing what what I'm thinking, where the organization is going, and then involving them in that growth journey is uh is huge.
- 20:00SPEAKER_01: And I'm really enjoying this phase where I was able to get to where prior to that it was just all me.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: I would just tell them this is what you need to do, versus now showing them a clear path, which gives them the confidence and feel that is the organization, there is a mission that we are working towards.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: So I think that's that's that's uh I'm enjoying this phase.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: So that's right.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: No, that's actually that's really fantastic.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: I I love that, and and that's a great growth, growth space, a growth space to be in.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: So I'm curious, you know, you've had all this great success, right?
- 20:36SPEAKER_00: And you've done super well.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: So I'm always I'm always kind of curious, you know, was there one moment in your journey that you were like, oops, and how did you how did you recover from it and how did it make you better?
- 20:55SPEAKER_01: Actually several, it's not one.
- 20:57SPEAKER_01: Uh so um one thing uh I would say is uh uh in the 10 10 years of my entrepreneurial journey, uh I always uh tried uh several uh uh things, whether it's like marketing or uh sales strategies or coaching to go to the next level.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: So one thing uh that helped me grow to where I am right now, um I I would try though I know uh or to if I if even if I feel 50% I will be successful at this, if I take this next initiative, I will still do it.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: Most of the time, uh when when we finish that project, uh it might end up being did not work out the way I wanted it to be.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: But I will have some learnings from it that I know I will not repeat this going forward.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: So throughout the last 10 years, we've spent on a lot of uh trainings, consulting, mastermind programs, and everything.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: And uh there was always a learning that uh as an auto.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: You always have to do that positive attitude and not feel bad about the failures or just getting stuck in that stage and not moving forward.
- 22:11SPEAKER_01: You always have there is always ways if you really try hard.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: You just have to keep going and then figure out what will take you from that position of being stuck and to be unstuck.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: So I was in that stage in my the third to fifth year.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Um grew twisted in a certain level in my revenue.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: I didn't know what I need to do next to get out of that uh uh status quo or stagnant stage in my growth.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: So then I figured uh not figured out like through the help of coaches and uh mastermind programs, I figured uh uh going from a compliance mindset to an advisory.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: So you are in accounting and bookkeeping space, there's a lot of compliance-related tasks from a tax plan, uh filing and bookkeeping aspects.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: But uh I realized the the small business industry really needs advisory help from um from a tax uh planning perspective.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: Uh, there is uh this market for tax planning is underserved.
- 23:14SPEAKER_01: Okay, so my thirst for like go uh keep going at it and figuring out what will work in this market ended up being understanding tax planning is the way to go.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: So I figured out that path, and that was a pivotal moment uh for me and for my for the business.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: From there, we found a path, and then everything uh now from marketing to sales, everything was focused on that one uh pivot that we can do for the organization.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: So um so for oops moment, yes, there were so many, but I just didn't stop or freeze there, and then I moved forward uh so and uh learn whatever I could from that uh incident and then move on.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Always as an entrepreneur, you have to have that positive attitude, otherwise you will you will definitely fail and then regret and uh go not not not succeed as an entrepreneur.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: You know, it it it's there's so much, there's so much truth in there.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: There's a couple of things, and would you not agree, like half the bar half that battle is is what you're saying to yourself up here, right?
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: Like if you have those oops moments to get out of it, right?
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: You you have to have the inner confidence and and as you said to learn from it, but to know that like to know that it's a learning experience, right?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And so that's and to be able to say to yourself, okay, it's a learning moment.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: I can move on from it, not don't stay in that downdrough, right?
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: And with there is always a way, you just have to push forward.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: There's always a way to get out of it, just knowing that, and uh God, there is a way to go get to the next level and pushing forward, then the you'll succeed.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: There's a statistics like in the um United States is there are about 34 million small businesses, and uh 93% of them fail in uh uh their first three years, and they don't move forward.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: And only 93% even get to that, uh 7% get to that 1 million revenue mark, which is a huge failure uh rate, right?
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: Like a lot of uh business and there's several statistics like uh businesses don't go beyond three years, and uh there's only the 7% that go up to the 10-year mark, and uh things like that.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: So I think most of them uh uh faced with a failure, they get uh um uh they they feel down and this is not for me, and then they don't push forward.
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: I think that's where you have to stop and think uh who can help me to get out of this uh level.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: And uh, there's always way to ask a question, get help, and there's plenty of help available.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: That's another thing I uh appreciated starting this journey.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: Uh definitely in the Boston area where we network with other business owners, there are always people who are willing to help.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: They understand the challenge in uh being on your own, starting something on your own, and I see people are want to really help.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: So there is help there, you just have to ask for it.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: So that is just so key.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: And I and I and and you know, listeners like you know, always obviously ask for help.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: The the amount of something something that you said I think is also really important on that growth and that journey to go from um either being you know being up to the 7% statistic, which is you have to look at what you are doing and seeing if there's a way to add or enhance, or sometimes you may have to pivot.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: So as you said, you went from being more of that tax compliance to advisory, and you saw that that was that shift in your business was going to help propel you exactly up.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: Yes, correct.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: You just have to keep going.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: Only you will like yeah, no one can tell you what you need to go do next.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: So each entrepreneur, I feel like uh uh it's your journey and it's very unique to you, and only uh you can figure out what is right and what's the right next step for you, and you can get all the help and advice and everything, ultimately it's you who have to make the decision and find what's the best thing for you.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: I I always wonder why uh uh entrepreneurship is uh so uh challenging, why is it so difficult, why there are so many failures?
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: It's just that uh and and then the answers I get is mostly even though there's so much help, there is like um uh small business organization that can help, there's governmental organization, there is so much help, there is a lot of uh templates and business plans, everything you can do, any help you can get, you have everything.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: And still there is this so much failure.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: It's is I I feel like it's uh entrepreneur as a journey is very unique, very unique to you.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: And only you have to figure out no matter what's out there, you still and the only way to figure that out is keep going and trying different things, and until you figure out what's that one thing that works for you, you have to keep going at it.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: That's the one way you could be.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I would I I totally agree with you on I totally agree, and there's so many, there's so many resources out there, and the biggest thing, and you have and you said this already, is you have to ask.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: So speaking of which, I Jay, I have absolutely I could talk to you forever.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: Um you have so much, there's so much great, I get so much great wisdom and insights and all that to share.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: Um, but I I'd love for you to share how can people get a hold of you and connect with you and obviously get more of your wisdom and and obviously get into some of your services because I think your what you're doing from a tax for small businesses is really as you it's really important.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Um and I think it actually also helps with reducing, you know, maybe we can increase that number from 7% to 8%.
- 29:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, definitely.
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, thanks.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: How people can find how can how can people connect with you?
