- 1:17Speaker 1: I noticed this morning you gave a bobblehead a show.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Heyo tani bobblehead, right, okay, uh. Starting with today is
- 1:26Speaker 1: a show Heyo Tani Bibblehead Day at Dodger Stadium, right,
- 1:30Speaker 1: you think they would do that December seventh, wouldn't they?
- 1:33Speaker 2: But they don't. Why? Why? Oh boy? What do you mean? Why? Why? Okay,
- 1:42Speaker 2: you're a horrible person. Thank you, thank you so much.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I can't wait till they show you your very special
- 1:48Speaker 3: place in hell.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Oh we have something so special for you. Please coming in.
- 1:53Speaker 2: We made these heads looking for you. Burden your bulls
- 1:58Speaker 2: right off.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Okay, so the giveaway this morning was the show Hey
- 2:02Speaker 1: o Tani Bobblehead, right, Amy? Yeah, okay, if you turn
- 2:06Speaker 1: into Kiss Radio and listen to seacrests, he's giving away
- 2:10Speaker 1: a Mercedes Benz this morning. Uh, that is absolutely correct.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And where are you gonna put that car? In a
- 2:18Speaker 2: new house? This is this is the Ryan Seacrest Show.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Amy's given away a ticket to Disneyland and one of
- 2:29Speaker 3: equal or lesser value.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It's like yamava, the stuff that the stuff they give
- 2:34Speaker 1: away and Marongo, I mean, it's just it's insane.
- 2:39Speaker 2: We'll Lamborghini this week and just crazy stuff.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Oh yeah, they gave away God what they give away
- 2:47Speaker 3: at Marengo the Cadillac and it was gorgeous. I was
- 2:50Speaker 3: out there stunning Cadillac. You like Cadillacs.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I don't like Cadillacs. Lindsay does. She has a Cadillac.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Don't they refer to them as jukenu?
- 3:00Speaker 1: They do, but she is, she is, well they I
- 3:05Speaker 1: don't know they everybody Amy, Yeah, Lindsay. When I first
- 3:10Speaker 1: got married to Lindsay, she actually considered converting, uh to Judaism.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Oh, I thought till a normal way.
- 3:18Speaker 1: No, No, she actually, I mean she was looking at
- 3:21Speaker 1: and I said, you're not going to convert.
- 3:22Speaker 2: She goes, why not? It goes I've already been married
- 3:24Speaker 2: to a Jew.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm not going to be doing that again ever, And
- 3:28Speaker 1: so I convinced her not to.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Did they unshix the fire? She speaks more Yiddish.
- 3:35Speaker 1: She throws Yiddish words around like crazy because you're sugar.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought it was weird when I walked in.
- 3:44Speaker 1: She goes, Neil, She'll go that's a shanda, which is
- 3:52Speaker 1: a shame on many, many different levels. Okay, so today
- 3:57Speaker 1: it's ok stuff going on today. Rod Pile is going
- 4:03Speaker 1: to be with us and he's going to do that
- 4:05Speaker 1: at what time? Seven fifty seven thirty Oh, there he is. Yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Artemis is coming.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Down things right in front all the times in it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: So Artemis is coming down tonight, and it was will
- 4:19Speaker 1: talk to him about it because everybody makes a huge deal.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Especially they've gone farther than any human being. They beat
- 4:27Speaker 1: Apollo by three and a half yards. I will say
- 4:31Speaker 1: it was the biggest longest trip. But re entry this
- 4:35Speaker 1: is yeah, the re entry is something else. The nail
- 4:37Speaker 1: bidy Yeah, yeah, twenty five thousand miles hour, tiles and
- 4:40Speaker 1: all that stuff.
- 4:41Speaker 3: This is that's what bi was the most probably the
- 4:44Speaker 3: most dangerous part of the entire two.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Well, it's always the most dangerous part. And this one
- 4:49Speaker 1: is the fastest re entry they've ever had, twenty five
- 4:51Speaker 1: thousand miles per hours, no joke. Now that impresses you, well, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 1: because that is that's something that's not due to forty
- 4:59Speaker 1: yards past. Uh, the Apollo eleven or the Apollow thirteen crowd. No,
- 5:05Speaker 1: And then I I just don't get I'm gonna talk
- 5:08Speaker 1: to Rod because it's just a huge deals being made
- 5:10Speaker 1: out of this.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I'm going Oh, and the human beings.
- 5:13Speaker 1: It's the first time human beings have laid eyes on
- 5:17Speaker 1: the on the wrong side or the other side of
- 5:19Speaker 1: the moon.
- 5:19Speaker 2: So take pictures with a satellite they could see. It's crack.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Just take pictures that.
- 5:29Speaker 1: People don't know anyway, So we're gonna have Rod and
- 5:32Speaker 1: then of course foody Friday at eight o'clock, eight thirty,
- 5:35Speaker 1: it's ask Candle anything and uh, very special ass Candle
- 5:39Speaker 1: anything today a guest, Uh.
- 5:42Speaker 2: That we're not gonna talk about that. Well, that's special
- 5:45Speaker 2: and we're not giving any names. Okay, anyway, we're going
- 5:48Speaker 2: to Robot.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's we're gonna yeah, we're gonna use AI to
- 5:53Speaker 1: figure out. Matter of fact, here's what we're gonna do.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Ask Candle anything. Who do you want it to be?
- 5:57Speaker 1: We'll be born and happy. We'll use AI and that
- 6:00Speaker 1: he'll come in it'll be Obama. Yeah, all right, let's
- 6:04Speaker 1: do it, guys. We've got news to cover.
- 6:08Speaker 2: It's time for Handle on the news with Neil and
- 6:10Speaker 2: Amy and me. Late story.
- 6:13Speaker 1: How long?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Well, how long? Jd Vance is.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Joining Kushner and Witkoff. They're going they're going to Pakistan
- 6:27Speaker 1: to try to end this war in Iran. Now what's
- 6:31Speaker 1: very interesting is and I feel sorry for jd Vance.
- 6:34Speaker 1: He is he has publicly come out against the war.
- 6:39Speaker 1: He has said that we shouldn't get into foreign wars.
- 6:42Speaker 1: This is previously and now he has to change it
- 6:46Speaker 1: over and defend the war. I mean, he has no choice.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Off he's the vice president. He's got to do what
- 6:52Speaker 1: his boss says. But man, there's a lot going on.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We're gonna be talking about that. And yesterday we talked
- 6:59Speaker 1: about was it yesterday the day before when the President
- 7:02Speaker 1: said if the Strait of Horror moves isn't open up,
- 7:04Speaker 1: we didn't destroy I'm going to destroy Iran, you know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: the civilization which is going to be destroyed.
- 7:09Speaker 2: That made a huge deal. I didn't. I never thought
- 7:11Speaker 2: that was what happened. That's his bluster. That's what he does.
- 7:14Speaker 1: H So I had to open by five o'clock, so
- 7:18Speaker 1: the attack was off and the strait still closed.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And at this point the United States has gotten zero
- 7:28Speaker 1: for the attack.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Nothing, nada. So we'll see what the talk said. What
- 7:34Speaker 2: is it like, mild military discomfort? Uh right?
- 7:38Speaker 4: No, no, no, they no, you think it's just mild military.
- 7:41Speaker 1: No got nailed. No, they got nailed. I mean Iran
- 7:44Speaker 1: got nailed. But the problem with Iran, and we're talking
- 7:46Speaker 1: about this is the Iranian regime. By the way, it's
- 7:50Speaker 1: a new regime, right, It's.
- 7:53Speaker 2: That's a new regime. It's now hard but even harder.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Lineability for nuclear weapons they still have.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, of course they do.
- 8:00Speaker 1: And the point is is that Iran the regime is
- 8:04Speaker 1: like Hamas. It does not matter as long as they
- 8:07Speaker 1: stay in power. They don't care how many of their
- 8:10Speaker 1: citizens die and how much. Yeah, they don't care how
- 8:13Speaker 1: much of their country is destroyed.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Okay, Uh, Donald and Bib may not be on the
- 8:21Speaker 4: same page right now. So President Trump of course is
- 8:24Speaker 4: trying to get a piece deal they want. He wants
- 8:26Speaker 4: to end this thing, and uh, Israel is just bombing
- 8:31Speaker 4: the crap out of Lebanon.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's problem.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's a problem. Usually they're on the same page. And uh,
- 8:39Speaker 1: the President said to Netagna, who calm it down, you know,
- 8:44Speaker 1: take a take a softer approach, and Neta who responds
- 8:48Speaker 1: with the biggest attack of the war so far against Hezbollah.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I mihud you.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Well, BIB actually stands for bum bum bum bum. All right,
- 9:02Speaker 3: this was interesting and I'm not sure where to place it.
- 9:05Speaker 3: The first lady Milania Trump, who usually stays kind of
- 9:10Speaker 3: in the Shadows came out yesterday and said she she
- 9:13Speaker 3: had this press conference, said she never had a relationship
- 9:16Speaker 3: with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice Maxwell.
- 9:23Speaker 3: She says it's that she's never been friends with Epstein.
- 9:28Speaker 3: She said, I'm not Epstein's victim. Epstein did not introduce
- 9:31Speaker 3: me to Donald Trump. Now, I've heard these rumors and
- 9:33Speaker 3: and I've even said on the air before some time
- 9:36Speaker 3: ago that I don't know if Donald Trump is in
- 9:40Speaker 3: those files in the way people cars is. Well, I'm
- 9:44Speaker 3: saying he's absolutely in those but he does have an
- 9:47Speaker 3: attitude that he's protecting something, if not himself, then someone else,
- 9:51Speaker 3: and I thought it might be her.
- 9:52Speaker 2: But this is this is a weird one. And here's why.
- 9:55Speaker 1: What the what Trump's trying to do is put this acide.
- 9:57Speaker 1: That's no big deal. Epstein is small potatoes. Let's we
- 10:01Speaker 1: have other things to worry about. His wife comes out
- 10:04Speaker 1: and puts Epstein back on the front burner.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Well, some were joking yesterday that Trump starts a war
- 10:12Speaker 3: with Iran to take our eyes off of the Epstein files,
- 10:16Speaker 3: and now he's bringing the Epstein files back up to
- 10:20Speaker 3: take our eyes off.
- 10:22Speaker 2: We're going to go back and forth.
- 10:23Speaker 1: But she spent I mean, she was not happy and
- 10:27Speaker 1: talked about how she had nothing to do with it
- 10:29Speaker 1: and people that said that she does.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Or but why now are we going to get a
- 10:34Speaker 3: drop another drop of files? Or are we going to
- 10:36Speaker 3: get what?
- 10:37Speaker 2: I don't know?
- 10:38Speaker 1: And Pam BONDI was subpoened by the House Oversight Committee
- 10:42Speaker 1: and she has she won't appear. She said subpoena this yeah, yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: well yeah, probably true. But she says, I'm no longer
- 10:51Speaker 1: the attorney Ja, I'm no longer the attorney General. I don't
- 10:54Speaker 1: have to show up, which is crap. By the way,
- 10:56Speaker 1: of course she has to show up. Otherwise, anybody quit
- 10:58Speaker 1: any job, right, anybody was peanut has to show up.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So you know, they just make up rules. But there's
- 11:05Speaker 1: stuff going on.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Still, have you been subpoena? I have not ever I
- 11:13Speaker 2: have been subpoena. Okay, I thought so. I have.
- 11:17Speaker 4: About to throw on the brakes. So the Artemis two
- 11:23Speaker 4: astronauts are on their way back to Earth. This is
- 11:28Speaker 4: bill handle. The four astro nuts flew around the Moon
- 11:31Speaker 4: and they're going to splash it down this evening. They're
- 11:34Speaker 4: going to go up to twenty five thousand miles an hour,
- 11:37Speaker 4: and then they slam on the brakes when they hit
- 11:38Speaker 4: the atmosphere, and then we lose radio contact with them
- 11:42Speaker 4: for about six minutes and hope that everything goes well.
- 11:46Speaker 4: And if it does, we'll see them splash down at
- 11:49Speaker 4: five oh seven off the coast of San Diego.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Wouldn't it be terrific as they you know, they lose
- 11:54Speaker 1: communication as they go around the moon. Wouldn't it be
- 11:57Speaker 1: great as they we did communication or reconnected as and.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Then they moon the cameras all the way down. Yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 2: you know what I would do.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I would just tell the crew. I said, Okay, we're
- 12:09Speaker 3: coming back three seconds. Everybody screamed. Yeah, they're like Houstons,
- 12:18Speaker 3: But we wish them well. It is probably the most
- 12:22Speaker 3: nail biting part.
- 12:23Speaker 1: We're going to talk to Rod Pyle at seven thirty.
- 12:28Speaker 3: All right, Federal judge finds Pentagon is violing the court order.
- 12:32Speaker 3: If you remember, there was all the hubbub with the
- 12:35Speaker 3: Defense Department saying, hey, listen, as far as reporters go,
- 12:39Speaker 3: we're resetting things. We're going to say who gets where.
- 12:43Speaker 3: You're not going to have his open access to things
- 12:47Speaker 3: as once before the US District Judge Paul Friedman sided
- 12:52Speaker 3: in this case with the New York Times and said, no,
- 12:57Speaker 3: that's unconstitutional. And so far the Pentagon is not playing.
- 13:02Speaker 1: And so far, and here's the good news, the administration
- 13:06Speaker 1: is paying attention to court orders. What Pete headsig I
- 13:10Speaker 1: tried to do is go around this court order by
- 13:13Speaker 1: playing chess and moving a couple of rules around in
- 13:18Speaker 1: the court said, no, you can't do that. If the
- 13:21Speaker 1: administration just tells the court, we don't care what you say,
- 13:25Speaker 1: just not interested, which can be done because Nixon threatened
- 13:29Speaker 1: that there's no place to go because the court doesn't
- 13:32Speaker 1: have police. The court doesn't have any enforcement ability.
- 13:37Speaker 2: There's no extra superior And is that so far? So good?
- 13:42Speaker 1: The Trump administration is paying attention to what the court
- 13:46Speaker 1: is saying so far, and it may stay that way, hopefully.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Parents protesting the LA School District and three unions are
- 13:58Speaker 4: still talking. If they don't come up with a new
- 14:01Speaker 4: contract deal, a strike would start on the fourteenth. And
- 14:05Speaker 4: it's not only teachers, but administrators and workers and everyone.
- 14:09Speaker 2: It's a lot of people.
- 14:11Speaker 4: So parents held a news conference outside school district headquarters
- 14:15Speaker 4: yesterday and basically said we want you to settle this,
- 14:18Speaker 4: and they said, just you know, pay the teachers what
- 14:21Speaker 4: they're asking for.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's but that's what they've been doing in the past.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'm going to talk more about this at seven o'clock.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And you know what's caught up in the middle of
- 14:29Speaker 1: all this.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Are a thousand kids.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and Neil Sabra, whose kid goes to public school.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's going to be interesting time. A lot of
- 14:38Speaker 3: the parents are concerned. We may be the house that
- 14:42Speaker 3: has because we both work from home, so we may
- 14:45Speaker 3: be the house that takes care of all the kids.
- 14:47Speaker 2: All right, and we're going to talk about that coming
- 14:49Speaker 2: up at seven o'clock.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Well, I know everybody's excited amy about having the Olympics
- 14:55Speaker 3: in Los Angeles, but now you've got some officials expressing
- 15:00Speaker 3: these fears that seem to be growing. The taxpayers in
- 15:03Speaker 3: the city treasury could be hit with a round of
- 15:06Speaker 3: what they refer to as crippling costs to support the
- 15:09Speaker 3: twenty twenty eight Olympic Games here in the city.
- 15:12Speaker 4: And we're not talking about the price of tickets.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Yeah, oh no, we're not.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You know, create all the memes about how bad, how
- 15:19Speaker 3: hard it is to get tickets and how stupid the
- 15:21Speaker 3: system is and all that stuff.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And also crippling costs are not about the parallel Olympics either,
- 15:27Speaker 1: It is about the regular Olympics.
- 15:30Speaker 2: This is different. This is not a physical.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Oh okay, I'm going to do that story coming up
- 15:35Speaker 1: at seven twenty. And then a factoid that I'm going
- 15:38Speaker 1: to ask about.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Where you're going to find your next wife at the Paralympics.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Soggin married twice. You're a big aniss. Okay. Uh.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Neither snow nor rain, nor heat nor gloom of night.
- 15:54Speaker 4: But coyotes. That's another story. So in Carson there are
- 16:00Speaker 4: concerns about more and more aggressive coyotes, so much so
- 16:06Speaker 4: that the post Office has stopped delivering mail to some
- 16:09Speaker 4: of the homes.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, coyotes.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You know, when a coyote mates with a dog, like
- 16:14Speaker 1: a regular dog, the progeny, there is a more vicious coyote.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's really strange. Now, it's more vicious than it would
- 16:23Speaker 1: normally be. Just if they made it with another coyote.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Could they mate with any breed? I don't know. I
- 16:30Speaker 2: think so. I would imagine I think so Chihuahua. Maybe no.
- 16:34Speaker 1: No, the CIA, yeah no, the Chiawa explodes, I know
- 16:38Speaker 1: if they have started mating. But my dog, my little Gucci,
- 16:43Speaker 1: got eaten by a coyote. Coyote had had her for breakfast,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and it was really it was tough.
- 16:49Speaker 2: It was tough. That's sad. It was sad. I mean,
- 16:52Speaker 2: it's the circle of life, actually a circle of death
- 16:55Speaker 2: in that case, not for the one eating. That's correct.
- 17:00Speaker 3: FBI they found the alleged leaker of the down fighter jet,
- 17:06Speaker 3: and the FBI arrested them former US Special Operations Command
- 17:12Speaker 3: employee allegedly leaking the downed downing of the F fifteen
- 17:18Speaker 3: E fighter jet shut down over Iran last week. Who
- 17:23Speaker 3: does I don't understand who does that?
- 17:25Speaker 2: To what benefit? Did you leak that kind of information?
- 17:31Speaker 2: You don't know? So traitorous and it.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Is there's you know, the President said that two things.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Number one, going after the leaker, which is legitimate, who's
- 17:41Speaker 1: going to argue First Amendment? Which is crap? I hope
- 17:43Speaker 1: he goes to jail for a very long time. And
- 17:45Speaker 1: then the issue is going after the publication. I think
- 17:50Speaker 1: in this one was was it the New York Times
- 17:53Speaker 1: that first published this? You know what they're going to
- 17:56Speaker 1: get away with it at times. That is first Amendment
- 18:00Speaker 1: because they didn't leak it. It was already leaked. All
- 18:03Speaker 1: they did was published, So they're not going to get
- 18:05Speaker 1: nailed on this. But this guy, the problem is, I
- 18:09Speaker 1: don't even think the Iranians knew that the plane was
- 18:12Speaker 1: shot down until the leak.
- 18:14Speaker 2: And if it turned out that they did know, then
- 18:16Speaker 2: no harm, no foul. Yeah, but he didn't know that
- 18:19Speaker 2: or she or whoever. Is it a mail? I think
- 18:22Speaker 2: it is a mail, So I don't know. I just
- 18:25Speaker 2: that type of thing drives me nuts. Yeah, you know,
- 18:28Speaker 2: send him to Iran say this is your prison. Okay.
- 18:33Speaker 4: So a settlement has been reached between the State of
- 18:38Speaker 4: Maryland and the owner and operator of that big old
- 18:42Speaker 4: cargo ship that crashed into the bridge in Baltimore two
- 18:46Speaker 4: years ago, causing it to just collapse. The settlement in
- 18:50Speaker 4: principle was reached and resolves a portion of the state's
- 18:53Speaker 4: claims rising from the ship's crash into the Francis Scott
- 18:57Speaker 4: Key Bridge, which has not been rebuilt up the state people.
- 19:03Speaker 4: The Attorney General says, our work is not finished, but
- 19:05Speaker 4: this settlement is an important step toward making Maryland whole again.
- 19:10Speaker 1: This is an interesting one because the operator of the
- 19:16Speaker 1: ship paid three hundred and fifty million dollars. Now we're
- 19:19Speaker 1: only talking to Maryland, not to the individuals that were involveduse.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I think it were a couple of debts and the
- 19:25Speaker 1: insurance company for Maryland wrote a three hundred and fifty
- 19:29Speaker 1: million dollar check the maximum. They basically took policy limits.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So Maryland got seven hundred million dollars. And my guess
- 19:37Speaker 1: is their premiums are going to go up.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Just guessing, well, it's going to cost between four point
- 19:42Speaker 4: three and five point two billion.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know where they replaced the bridge and
- 19:47Speaker 1: where are they going to get that?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Where are they going to get that? All right?
- 19:53Speaker 3: The Department of Justice reportedly opened an investigation on an
- 19:57Speaker 3: interesting group, the NFL. They are looking into anti competitive
- 20:03Speaker 3: tactics that harm consumers.
- 20:07Speaker 2: According to their Wall Street Journal.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Of course it does, because you've got an entire league
- 20:12Speaker 1: that's representing all the teams and the consumer. I mean,
- 20:16Speaker 1: you have no say in what's broadcast and what isn't.
- 20:19Speaker 1: And there's no competition although it is a monopoly. The
- 20:25Speaker 1: NFL absolutely and Congress gave them the monopoly.
- 20:30Speaker 2: How and why?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Because it's an exception was what was it called here,
- 20:37Speaker 1: Sports Broadcasting Act Because the way the NFL works, it
- 20:45Speaker 1: is an entity and they split all the proceeds among
- 20:48Speaker 1: the teams simply the way they work. Otherwise, the teams
- 20:50Speaker 1: are competing for each other for television rights, and there's
- 20:53Speaker 1: some teams that would get more, and then you have
- 20:57Speaker 1: certain people that would pay more for watching certain games,
- 21:01Speaker 1: and they didn't want to do that.
- 21:02Speaker 2: It would be pretty complicated. It basically protects the crappy
- 21:05Speaker 2: little teams, not that there are.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Any to put together. Didn't the Rock try and put
- 21:11Speaker 3: together a competitive football?
- 21:13Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not talking about a competitive league. We're talking
- 21:15Speaker 1: about within the NFL. And so it's true. I don't
- 21:19Speaker 1: know what I think Congress is working on it, although
- 21:23Speaker 1: asking the courts you're talking about the Department of Justice
- 21:26Speaker 1: is asking the court to overturn that act, the Sports
- 21:30Speaker 1: Broadcasting Act, as unconstitutional, effectively in violation Sherman anti trust.
- 21:35Speaker 4: But you know why, it's because you can't see the
- 21:38Speaker 4: games just broadcast free anymore. They're saying that it's because
- 21:43Speaker 4: everybody has to pay for them and they're charging too much,
- 21:46Speaker 4: and by doing that they're violating that whole exception.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah, no, they're competition usually where they compete against each other.
- 21:54Speaker 2: The whole concept of competition.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Not only is there no competition and it hasn't been
- 21:59Speaker 1: since nineteen sixty one, but to your point is you
- 22:02Speaker 1: cannot get free football games anymore because everything is paid for,
- 22:07Speaker 1: because it all changed with streaming.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I mean, would you.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Ever thought that Amazon would broadcast TV Game would broadcast
- 22:14Speaker 1: NFL games, or Peacock would broadcast and you pay for those.
- 22:20Speaker 4: And you pay big for him if you want, like
- 22:22Speaker 4: the NFL package.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I was listening to an interview with somebody who
- 22:27Speaker 1: was attacking this. People pay one thy twelve hundred dollars,
- 22:31Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars to watch all the games and it's big,
- 22:34Speaker 1: big money.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Yeah right, crazy First Amendment freakoffs. Shawn Combs was in
- 22:41Speaker 4: court yesterday. His attorneys are requesting he immediately be released
- 22:45Speaker 4: from prison and for his conviction to be overturned. He's
- 22:49Speaker 4: serving a fifty month prison sentence for prostitution related charges,
- 22:55Speaker 4: and his lawyers, among other things, argued that the freak off,
- 23:00Speaker 4: orchestrated with girlfriends and male sex workers, were, as they
- 23:03Speaker 4: put it, highly choreographed sexual performances that were basically amateur
- 23:08Speaker 4: pornography and should be protected by the First Amendment.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Now I don't think he's going to get that, but
- 23:13Speaker 1: I think he's going to be released because, as his
- 23:16Speaker 1: lawyers argued, defendants normally get less than.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Fifteen months for this prostitution.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Well for these convictions what he was convicted about for,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and he was acquitted of the major stuff that he
- 23:30Speaker 1: could have gotten a lot more. However, I think, you know,
- 23:33Speaker 1: the judge is the appeals court going to say, yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 1: it's yeah. In the end say we wouldn't agree with
- 23:42Speaker 1: what the judge says, but it's within the parameter.
- 23:44Speaker 2: So we'll see.
- 23:45Speaker 1: If I had to guests, yeah, he's going to be
- 23:48Speaker 1: let go because there are fans.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Of how the hell did that happen?
- 23:52Speaker 3: All righty, small aircraft you heard this morning during wake
- 23:56Speaker 3: up call? Two people crashed Thursday afternoon on Catalina Island,
- 24:01Speaker 3: so says the FAA.
- 24:03Speaker 2: They confirmed this.
- 24:04Speaker 3: The plane a twenty fourteen airplane factory sling, I.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Don't know, do you know what that is?
- 24:09Speaker 3: No, I no idea took off from a Zappardi field
- 24:13Speaker 3: in Torrents ten fifty three am was last seen at
- 24:16Speaker 3: eleven thirteen am near Avalon, and I guess the aircraft
- 24:22Speaker 3: was en route to the island, crashed in Avalon around
- 24:25Speaker 3: twelve twenty pm. Kind of a rugged are not easy
- 24:29Speaker 3: accessible area, but both were dead upon.
- 24:32Speaker 1: If you ever talked to anybody who's flown in and
- 24:34Speaker 1: out of Catalina, it is a tough airport. It is
- 24:37Speaker 1: one of the most difficult airportort. No, it head feet right,
- 24:41Speaker 1: it's runway and if you go past the runway you're
- 24:45Speaker 1: in the ocean.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I mean, you're off. So scary. Have you been up there?
- 24:48Speaker 2: If not in an airplane?
- 24:50Speaker 3: Not an airplane, but you can take tours up there
- 24:53Speaker 3: where you go up there and it is the shortest,
- 24:55Speaker 3: shortest runway you've ever seen.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Okay, one more I think we have time for.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Is this an oxymoron? A cheap Tesla. Tesla is apparently
- 25:05Speaker 4: developing a new electric car regionally. Recently has approached suppliers
- 25:11Speaker 4: to talk about the manufacturing processes and components specifications for
- 25:15Speaker 4: a new vehicle that would be less expensive than the
- 25:18Speaker 4: why model, also smaller than the nearly fifteen foot y model.
- 25:23Speaker 4: It would be a brand new vehicle, not a variant
- 25:25Speaker 4: of the existing Model three or why lineup?
- 25:28Speaker 1: And I don't think it is an oxymoron because I've
- 25:32Speaker 1: had a Tesla. I had one for two weeks if
- 25:33Speaker 1: you remember the story. And yeah, I think it's a
- 25:35Speaker 1: cheap car. Oh yeah, I was not impressed with it.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Oh I think they're beautiful. I don't own one. I
- 25:43Speaker 2: was not.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah, people either hate them or love them.
- 25:46Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I was talking to Woody and he had one, and
- 25:49Speaker 1: he hated it as much as I hated mine.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Some people just don't like them. Maybe just main talk
- 25:56Speaker 2: show hosts fat ones? What is not fat? No? What
- 25:59Speaker 2: is that?
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'm not fat? You know, I keep on going in
- 26:01Speaker 1: my mind. I got a lot of bar in your head.
- 26:03Speaker 1: But yeah, I am bodied. Dysmorphia.
- 26:05Speaker 2: They can tie your stomach up, but they can't. I know,
- 26:08Speaker 2: A weigh the pain. I know.
- 26:09Speaker 1: I'm still in my head. I weigh over three hundred
- 26:11Speaker 1: pounds even though I'm one hundred and eighty three.
- 26:13Speaker 2: I have pictures you, I just I know.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I just looked at one that I have and it's
- 26:20Speaker 1: uh man, Okay, we're done, guys. Coming up the strike
- 26:26Speaker 1: that's going to happen LA Unified Big Time strike and
- 26:30Speaker 1: going to Neil because Neil is going to be caught
- 26:32Speaker 1: up right in the middle of it, and I'll jump
- 26:35Speaker 1: into that when we return.
