- 0:32Massive breaking news in the gold and silver community.
- 0:35This is a story we need to follow closely.
- 0:38Legal tender legislation, it's taking over in the United
- 0:43States. We're going to give you all the
- 0:44examples, the latest news from an expert in the field.
- 0:48We're also going to talk about why this is so important, why
- 0:52legal tender legislation should be a big deal to you as a
- 0:57precious metals investor. Today, we are joined by Daniel
- 1:00Diaz. He's with the Citizens for Sound
- 1:02Money. Let's see if we can pull them up
- 1:04here. Hello, Daniel.
- 1:05Thank you for joining us. Hey, Ron, good to.
- 1:08Be back. Hey, brother, I know you're
- 1:10going to give us all the details about what's going on in the
- 1:14country right now. This is big, big news.
- 1:17But first, I want to ask you why?
- 1:19Why should a precious metals investor even care if their
- 1:23state is passing legal tender legislation?
- 1:26Yeah. So that's a question that comes
- 1:28up a lot when we are posting our victories on on X and and a
- 1:33question that come up when I'm speaking.
- 1:35And one of the main reasons is because we're trying to make
- 1:38gold and silver legal tender again and and create a sound
- 1:41money economy. So look, 778% of Americans, the
- 1:47study came out last year in the summer says that that they're
- 1:52living paycheck to paycheck. 78% of Americans living paycheck to
- 1:55paycheck. Well, not $1000 to their name.
- 1:57So if you walk into a room and you do a quick glance, 4 out of
- 2:01five people broke. They don't.
- 2:03They're living paycheck to paycheck and they don't know
- 2:05why. They don't understand that
- 2:08what's happening is that the dollar is being printed into
- 2:10oblivion and people are losing their purchasing power and what
- 2:13I call their economic energy. So right now, gold and silver is
- 2:18categorized as personal property.
- 2:20It's not categorized as money. And the legal tender legislation
- 2:24that's going around the country as of today, there are now,
- 2:29there are now 11 states that have made gold and silver legal
- 2:33tender. We'll get to that in a minute.
- 2:35And by making gold and silver legal tender, they're elevating
- 2:38it from being personal property, which it's taxed at a different
- 2:43level. And it's also gives people
- 2:46consumer protections because when gold and silver is
- 2:49considered a barter transaction, if you're trading back and forth
- 2:53for goods and services, by elevating it to money, it's
- 2:56treated as Federal Reserve, the same as Federal Reserve notes.
- 2:59So it's extremely important to bring back a sound money economy
- 3:02and to get people to feel confident in using gold and
- 3:06silver that the states also accept them, whether initially
- 3:10they're they're forced to accept it or it's voluntary, which most
- 3:13states are, are, are doing. Like for example, Missouri, the
- 3:18state's not going to accept physical gold and silver for the
- 3:21payment of taxes. They will only accept electronic
- 3:23gold and silver for the payment of taxes.
- 3:26Florida, it's optional for any municipality all the way up to
- 3:30the state government counties and even public schools to
- 3:32accept gold and silver. But there's a qualification.
- 3:35They have to have an account, what they call in Florida, a
- 3:37qualified public depository, which basically means they have
- 3:40to open up an account with a bank or credit union that that
- 3:42can hold qualified public funds. So it's important to.
- 3:48Yeah, I can't hear you. You're muted.
- 3:52Let me, let me. I'm sorry.
- 3:53I muted my microphone. You said something earlier that
- 3:56blew me away and I and then I want to get in, but you said
- 3:59that 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
- 4:03So if I walk into a a church or a bar or wherever, basically 4
- 4:09out of five of those people are broke.
- 4:11Is it is it too harsh to say you're you're the guy with
- 4:15Citizens for sound money? So is it?
- 4:17But is it too harsh to say that those four out of five people
- 4:21are basically living as debt slaves to a certain?
- 4:23Degree. It's the truth.
- 4:26That's what's happening, yeah. The dollar.
- 4:28The dollar isn't money. The dollar is debt.
- 4:31It's a currency. Yeah, yeah.
- 4:33So they're, they're working and and they don't have enough money
- 4:36to buy any real property that's going to appreciate in value.
- 4:40And so they work for for paper money and then it just gets
- 4:44debased and debased and debased over time is that.
- 4:48OK, 100% and it's. Even.
- 4:49All right. Sorry I interrupted you.
- 4:50Yeah. Yeah, No, no.
- 4:52And it's not even, I wouldn't even call it debasing.
- 4:54I, I call it theft when you put your economic energy.
- 4:57So this is something that I've been using recently when I speak
- 5:00publicly at conferences or whatever, I am differentiating
- 5:05money from currency. And the way I do that is by
- 5:07focusing in on economic energy. So where you focus and you put
- 5:11your economic energy is where your, your treasures are stored.
- 5:14So go ahead and show it. Show that round.
- 5:16Yeah, so there's there's a one ounce silver.
- 5:18So if I, if you come over today, although it's going to be a long
- 5:22flight because I think you're in Florida, but if you come over
- 5:24today and cut my grass and I give you this, right, Very
- 5:28likely 20 years from now, this is still going to have the same
- 5:33value. Whereas if I give you $35.00
- 5:36cash, I say here, here, Daniel, I'm going to pay you with, with
- 5:39some of this stuff, you know, and your eyes light up.
- 5:42Where do you think it's going to be in 20 years?
- 5:44Is that is that a good example of what you're?
- 5:46Talking about 20 years, I'm not even sure if we'll have the same
- 5:49monitor dairy system. I mean, like, look, the world's
- 5:53moving towards a digitized commodity world.
- 5:58Every central bank in the world is buying gold and silver hand
- 6:02over fist. May or was it April, April or
- 6:05May? I was on recently with Andy
- 6:08Scheckman and it was the Comex's largest delivery of gold in U.S.
- 6:13history. I think it's the most gold the
- 6:15US has bought in 30 or 40 years. Look, if you get out of your,
- 6:20your daily life and just start looking what the world is doing,
- 6:23every major central bank in the world is buying gold hand over
- 6:28fist. They're turning in and not
- 6:30buying U.S. Treasuries.
- 6:31The dollar dominance is disappearing and they're moving
- 6:35to real money. And then Basel 3 is elevating
- 6:39gold from a commodity to a class one asset, which basically is
- 6:43the same as as currency. The head of the of of the Bank
- 6:47of International Settlement said, I think earlier this year
- 6:51that gold is acting more like a currency than a commodity.
- 6:54So so can I ask you a question quickly?
- 6:57And then I promised to the viewer and thank you to our
- 6:59viewers for being here. Thank you for being in the
- 7:02basement. You're the most important part.
- 7:04But I'm I'm wondering if they have the same question I do.
- 7:07And that's about this. Is it Basil, Basil 3 from what I
- 7:11understand that will be in July or sometime this summer and that
- 7:15you and then that and that the United United States was the
- 7:19last holdout basically is what I understand.
- 7:22And then that will then elevate gold to this tier one asset like
- 7:26the same thing as cash or US bonds.
- 7:29Why? Why is that not being made a big
- 7:32deal, a bigger deal of in the gold and silver community?
- 7:38Well, the Basel 3 is more of a like the rules for the large
- 7:41banks, institutional banks and, and, and essentially what
- 7:45they're doing is you can, it's how they hold money on their
- 7:47balance sheet. And they can right now, gold is
- 7:51treated as a commodity on the balance sheet and by elevating
- 7:54to tier one, it's considered like a currency, liquid assets.
- 7:57So it, it's, it's just, that's an important distinction because
- 8:02it's essentially what we're doing with legislation too,
- 8:03right? It's going from a commodity to
- 8:05money, right? And it's the same thing we're
- 8:07doing at a micro, a smaller level.
- 8:09Instead of all the banks around the world agreeing, the states
- 8:12are doing it as well to protect themselves and to give people
- 8:15the confidence to use gold and silver in transactions.
- 8:18OK. So we, I promised everybody that
- 8:21we would talk about this massive legislative, the wave that's
- 8:26going across the United States, gold and silver legal tender.
- 8:30I think there's nobody better to talk to than to you.
- 8:32I know there's some breaking news.
- 8:34It's, it's a fluid situation which develops.
- 8:38What's the latest that you can share with us in terms of what
- 8:41what you're seeing out there right now, Daniel?
- 8:43The latest is happened yesterday.
- 8:46Texas is the 5th state this year to make gold and silver legal
- 8:50tender. So, so far this year we had
- 8:53Alabama, Idaho, Florida, Missouri and now Texas.
- 8:59The two largest Republican states in the country have now
- 9:02made gold and silver legal tender and electronic payment
- 9:06systems transferring the ownership of gold and silver
- 9:09legal as legal tender. Same thing with Missouri,
- 9:12Alabama and Idaho only made physical gold and silver legal
- 9:15tender. And I just want to throw one
- 9:17thing in that shocked me when I learned it.
- 9:19The size of the economies in both Texas and Florida are
- 9:24staggering. I don't know the the the details
- 9:26but I you know this thing was like 1.
- 9:29Florida's 1.7 trillion and we're the 15th largest economy in the
- 9:32world if we were our country. Thank you.
- 9:36I'm looking up, I'm looking up Texas right now Texas GDP is 2.7
- 9:41trillion. So if you add Florida together
- 9:441.7 trillion + 2.7 trillion, that's 4.4 trillion.
- 9:50And now I'm looking at the largest GPS in the world for the
- 9:53countries GDP countries and that let's see where we are on the
- 9:57country list. So if Texas and Florida united
- 10:00their GDPS, we would be the third large, 3rd, no sorry, 4th
- 10:06largest country in the world in GDP, right below Germany.
- 10:10So this is a big deal, right? I mean, this isn't just Cowboys
- 10:15and orange juice. This is like like a massive,
- 10:17massive deal that these two states are moving forward with
- 10:21legal tender legislation. Yeah.
- 10:23And when you add the other nine states, GDPS together, that puts
- 10:27us at #3 right behind China. Wow, wow, wow.
- 10:33Yeah. So there we the 11 states in the
- 10:36United States would have made gold and silver legal tender
- 10:40would combine would be the third largest economy in the world
- 10:45behind China and the United States.
- 10:47Yeah. And this can only add to the
- 10:49demand for gold and silver, I would imagine, Right.
- 10:52I, I'll let you talk more about the specifics to the extent that
- 10:56you're, you know, able to in regards to what's happening in
- 11:00each of these states. But I know like for instance,
- 11:02Florida, you're you're, you live in Florida.
- 11:05So I would imagine you're probably very, very in tune with
- 11:08what's going on there. I was there from day one.
- 11:11I mean, I helped, I helped draft them the legislation with the
- 11:15the writers and the sponsors and the government.
- 11:17Government. I mean, I know, I know the
- 11:19Florida bill better than any other bill.
- 11:20And I think the next best bill would be Texas because I've been
- 11:23helping out on taxes and then Missouri.
- 11:25So in Florida is 36 pages. All the other states have a few
- 11:30page bills. But Florida has done something
- 11:32that no other state has done. And I think Florida has created
- 11:35a model, model legislation for electronic transfer systems of
- 11:41gold and silver. OK, OK, so how, how does it
- 11:45work? What would if, if I'm living in
- 11:47Florida, which I'm not, I live in Missouri, maybe you can tell
- 11:50me what to expect in Missouri. But if I'm living in Florida and
- 11:53I'm a gold and silver person, what, what kind of changes?
- 11:56I mean, how would it, how's it going to impact someone who's a
- 11:59a Floridian? So it's now law in Florida and
- 12:03the law says it doesn't go into effect until July 1st.
- 12:05So the reason for that is because of the regulatory
- 12:08framework that we established, 4 companies that are transferred
- 12:13gold and silver electronically. So there's two parts to the
- 12:16Florida bill, Missouri bill and Texas bill.
- 12:20You have the physical side, which I'll get into a second
- 12:22because that's pretty easy. And then there's a digital side.
- 12:25The digital side is where I think Florida is leading the
- 12:27country because what we've done is we've integrated gold and
- 12:32silver companies into current Florida regulatory framework for
- 12:35transferring dollars. So all we did was we modified
- 12:39the regulatory framework in Florida to accept gold and
- 12:41silver custodians and gold and silver transactions.
- 12:45We got the one thing we needed to get rid of was FDIC to
- 12:48qualify as a money services business in custodian.
- 12:50And then all they have to do in Florida, let's say Kinesis or
- 12:53Glint or Alpine Gold Exchange with the UPMA want to start
- 12:57transacting digitally. They go into the state of
- 12:59Florida, they register as a money services business.
- 13:02I think the fee to become MSB is 100 grand and you need to have
- 13:06$3,000,000 in assets. That's it.
- 13:08Pretty low bar for companies. And then if you operate in the
- 13:11state of Florida, you have to have gold.
- 13:13So you can either contract with a company that currently is a
- 13:17custodian, licensed custodian, or you can open up your own
- 13:20vault in Florida and have the have the gold and silver.
- 13:23The legislation's unique. It says it has to be close
- 13:25enough to police stations and emergency services for security
- 13:28purposes. I mean, there's a lot more to
- 13:30it, but that's the the 10,000. Foot view, yeah.
- 13:33That's the gist of it. I mean, there's other things
- 13:36about States and trusts. You don't have to worry about
- 13:38that. Now on the physical side, this
- 13:41is where it got interesting in Florida, we've been working with
- 13:44the Senate staff for months and the 3rd to last iteration of the
- 13:50bill after meeting with them and, and we got 95% of what we
- 13:55wanted came in with a provision out of left field.
- 13:59Nobody economic war rooms, Christian family coalition, us,
- 14:03the government, nobody talked to these draft, these drafters
- 14:06about this issue. And I called the, the drafters
- 14:08of the bill. I'm like, what does this line
- 14:10do? Why?
- 14:11Why did you put it in here? What's your rationale?
- 14:12The rationale for the IT was a one sentence liner and and it
- 14:16changed like a like a 10 sentence line liner on the bill.
- 14:21The one sentence liner would have nullified the entire
- 14:23purpose of the bill making nothing legal tender.
- 14:26Basically it said that the only thing that would be considered
- 14:29legal tender in Florida would be gold and silver ingots, bars,
- 14:33rounds or whatever that did not have any design.
- 14:38It could only have the the weight impurity stamped on it.
- 14:42Well, there's not a single product in the world that only
- 14:45has the weight impurity mint stuck on it.
- 14:48Everything has a mint mark. So we tried to push back on
- 14:52that. They came back with a different
- 14:54version that allows a mint mark. So now bars can be legal tender
- 15:00and that's it. I mean, and US minted coin, US
- 15:02minted coin is already legal tender.
- 15:04There's a provision in the Florida bill.
- 15:05So we try to push that and get that changed.
- 15:08But it was so late in the legislative session that we
- 15:12said, you know what, we'll come back next year and fix it.
- 15:14Let's just get this through. It's the most robust legislation
- 15:17in the country Electronically. We're making some physical gold
- 15:20and silver legal tender. And then unintended consequence
- 15:24of of this provision being in Florida was Texas took that same
- 15:29provision and put into Texas. So the bill that passed
- 15:32yesterday only 5%, not 5 to 10% of physical bullion, basically
- 15:38bars with no design, only a mint mark, weight and purity are
- 15:42legal. Tender and electronic currencies
- 15:44legal. Tender, let me let me let me ask
- 15:46you a question. I'm going to pull up the my
- 15:48channel sponsor for gold and silver here first met and I
- 15:53don't know if you can see this on the screen, but hold on.
- 15:56Let me get to the right. Let me go to bars because they
- 16:01have bars. I'm just wondering if they're if
- 16:03these bars would qualify this to give everybody a visual.
- 16:08There's a 10 oz. I don't know.
- 16:11If that is their mint mark, yeah, that would qualify as
- 16:15legal tender. OK, OK, OK.
- 16:17And while and while we're here, if it's OK, I just want to say
- 16:20thank you to the channel sponsor, First Mint.
- 16:23They are a mint in Las Vegas, NV owned by First Majestic Silver,
- 16:30Keith Neumeyer's company. They mine silver in Mexico, ship
- 16:34it to Nevada and have it made into these world class silver
- 16:39bullion end products. It's literally from the mine to
- 16:42the mint. So if you if you buy silver from
- 16:45first mint, it's never touched the Comex or the LBMA.
- 16:49There's their Buffalo round, my personal favorite with the
- 16:52Indian design. They got you're the snake.
- 16:55And these are all unique to 1st mint.
- 16:57So thank you, Daniel for for letting me know that if you're
- 17:01in Florida or or Texas, you likely can use those first Mint
- 17:05bars will will qualify as legal tender.
- 17:08Yeah, but those rounds that they have would not qualify as legal
- 17:10tender. Because they have a design on
- 17:12them, but that'll get changed next year, yeah.
- 17:14Yeah. Well, in Florida, Texas only
- 17:16meets every other year. So they're going to have to deal
- 17:18with that for two years in Texas till we're able to get back over
- 17:21there and change it. So Florida we're definitely
- 17:23going to try to start changing it when they have committee
- 17:25weeks starting in I think it's August or September this year,
- 17:28OK. So hopefully, hopefully before
- 17:31session starts January, we'll will already have the law
- 17:35changed. So that's the the situation in
- 17:38Texas. In Florida, electronic transfer
- 17:40is legal tender. Some bars are legal tender.
- 17:43Now Missouri, Missouri hit us a Grand Slam.
- 17:46Not only do they make electronic currents, not only have they
- 17:50made electronic currency not legal tender, but being accepted
- 17:54by the state as legal tender, it's a very nuanced as versus
- 17:58being legal tender makes it is the difference between
- 18:01constitutional and not constitutional.
- 18:03You can't make electronic currency legal tender because
- 18:06that would be a bill of credit if you treat it, if you're just
- 18:09saying that you're accepting it for payment as legal tender,
- 18:12that's fine. It's it's basically saying that
- 18:14the state is recognizing gold and silver as legal tender.
- 18:18And then bullion. All bullion in Missouri is legal
- 18:21tender. All bullion in Idaho is legal
- 18:24tender. And I haven't read the Alabama
- 18:25bill, but I'm assuming it's similar.
- 18:28Let me see. I'm just going to scan it quick.
- 18:32It looks like yeah, refined gold bullion species.
- 18:35Yep. So Alabama all bullion is legal
- 18:38tender in Alabama. So three of the of the five
- 18:42states, all bullion is legal tender physical, 3 states
- 18:46electronic and then Arkansas because they even though
- 18:48Arkansas made legal tender, gold and silver legal tender two
- 18:52years ago, this year they also made electronic transfer, gold
- 18:55and silver legal tender. So there's four states that have
- 18:58made electronic systems, not electronic currency, electronic
- 19:01systems to transfer legal tender ownership for payment and debts
- 19:09and so forth. So super exciting.
- 19:11We've almost doubled the amount of states.
- 19:14We had six last year that made gold and silver legal tender and
- 19:17then we added five more. That's an 80, I think an 88%
- 19:22increase. Is that right?
- 19:24Hold on. 6 divided by, sorry, 5 / 6.
- 19:30Other way around 6 / 5. No, sorry.
- 19:35You know what I'm I'm, I'm doing math 8383.3%.
- 19:40So we increased the amount of states by 83.
- 19:43Percent a little bit a a tad higher than the percentage of
- 19:47Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck so.
- 19:50Yeah, yeah. And you know, that's that's
- 19:52heartbreaking, man, for me because when I'm traveling the
- 19:55country, like I first realized that the statistic was true.
- 20:01I had just read it last year in the summer and I went to my
- 20:03local watering hole and I was talking and there's maybe 15
- 20:05people at the bar and it. Quickly dawned on me as we were
- 20:09talking about finances, that I was the only person in that room
- 20:12that didn't live paycheck to paycheck out of 15 people at the
- 20:16bar. And that when I realized that it
- 20:19smacked me in the face that this statistic is real.
- 20:22And then traveling to Missouri, we had last year, we had just
- 20:27got it through the Senate. I was meeting with the chief of
- 20:28staff of Democratic Senator and, and then I called him Uber and
- 20:31the Uber driver passed me by and I realized that the driver was a
- 20:35little older with a brand new Escalade.
- 20:37So when I called the, the driver came back and she pulled up and
- 20:41I got in and I noticed she was quite old.
- 20:43I'm like, ma'am, do you mind if I ask you how old you are?
- 20:45She said, I'm 78 years old. I'm like, why are you driving
- 20:50Uber? She's like, well, I'm a widow
- 20:52and I, my husband's Social Security, my Social Security and
- 20:57our, our retirement doesn't pay enough for me to eat.
- 21:01I'd have to drive Uber to eat. It pays for this car.
- 21:04And if I didn't drive Uber, I wouldn't have enough money.
- 21:06Same thing in Missouri. I had the manager of a hotel
- 21:09tell me that she's working three jobs.
- 21:11I'm like, why are you working three jobs as a manager of a
- 21:13hotel? So I don't make enough to
- 21:14survive. And then my last this year, I
- 21:18went to a meeting at a church in Florida where we're talking
- 21:21about people who want to get involved in government and we're
- 21:23talking about what we're doing in Florida.
- 21:25I had this old lady writing, started writing something.
- 21:27I thought she was taking notes. She slid it across to me and
- 21:30says my name is Beth. I'm a 94 1/2 year old woman and
- 21:34I'm out spending my money. Please share my story with
- 21:38people next time you talk about this.
- 21:40And this is the real story of 78% of Americans across the the
- 21:44country and they don't know why. And that that's why it's so
- 21:47important to make gold and silver legal tender.
- 21:49It gives people the option to store their economic energy and
- 21:52something that preserves it. The only way to preserve your
- 21:56economic energies to put it into money, because it's it's the
- 21:59only way to prevent the theft of government.
- 22:01And you're not, you're not talking about like, oh, you're
- 22:03going to get rich by buying silver.
- 22:05You're going to get rich by buying gold.
- 22:06But no, what you will do, what you will do is preserve your
- 22:10wealth. Preserve it like you call it
- 22:13economic energy. My friend, Bald guy from bald
- 22:16guy money says, you know, like silver and gold are like
- 22:19batteries. Not that they store electric
- 22:22energy, though they do. Silver conducts it very well,
- 22:25but that they store economic energy like you talked about.
- 22:29You know, I can you can get a, a, a tube of American silver
- 22:33eagles and set it in the corner for 20 years, 10 years, five
- 22:38years, 100 years, 1000 years. And it's going to preserve that
- 22:42economic energy. Because you know, I talked about
- 22:44first meant earlier you got to think these like with them, you
- 22:49know, a lot of silver for instance, comes from Mexico.
- 22:52There's a ton of work we never talk about in this, in this
- 22:56business of silver and gold. How much actual work and effort
- 23:00and energy goes into getting the metals out of the ground And
- 23:04then from there it's just it's stored over the years.
- 23:07Economic energy. At the digging of the dirt, the
- 23:10processing machines multiply. The machines are force.
- 23:13Multiplier right, of the economic energy and that's
- 23:15another thing that I say, you know, like gold and silver is
- 23:18money. That's where you that's what you
- 23:20use to store your economic energy.
- 23:22Everything else that is an asset is a wealth generating asset.
- 23:26You know, whether it's cryptocurrency, businesses,
- 23:29stocks, bonds, that those are force multipliers that could
- 23:33potentially increase your economic energy.
- 23:35So you store your gold and silver or your economic energy
- 23:38and gold and silver to protect it, and then you invest it to to
- 23:42increase your economic energy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:45Well, Daniel, I want to say thank you for coming on.
- 23:48I do want to run out quickly to your website to show everyone
- 23:52the Citizens for Sound Money site.
- 23:55And here we go, citizens. The number 4 sound money.
- 24:00One of my favorite parts about this site besides this graphic
- 24:04sound markets require sound money, is if you go up to the
- 24:07top and you click on legislation and click on state list.
- 24:11I know it's very difficult to keep this updated, but you guys
- 24:16do a great job. It shows all the different
- 24:18states. And then down here, if I go down
- 24:21a little bit, yeah, there's an alphabetic list of states where
- 24:25again, I know it's a fluid situation, so it's impossible to
- 24:28keep it 100% accurate, but it gives a pretty good update in
- 24:32terms of what's going, what's going on out there in the
- 24:35market. Yeah, absolutely.
- 24:37And we try to update it every week or every other week.
- 24:41We need to do a final update. Now that legislative session is
- 24:43ending for most states like Ohio and Pennsylvania and California
- 24:47have year long sessions. I think there's one or two other
- 24:49states. So we just got to do a final
- 24:51update with everything that's happened this year and then
- 24:53we'll that will be a resource for everybody to find the the
- 24:55bills and the laws that pass. Sounds good, you know, give me
- 24:59one second before we say goodbye.
- 25:01I do want to say thank you to my other sponsors, Ledger, the
- 25:04cryptocurrency hardware wallet security leader, and Moonpay.
- 25:09Moonpay is the leading fintech company, over 30 million
- 25:12customers, 180 countries. Thank you to them for sponsoring
- 25:16Ron's basement. Thank you to Daniel Diaz for
- 25:18coming on and giving us this update.
- 25:21It is a big deal. You know, when I first got into
- 25:25gold and silver 20 years ago, no one ever talked about like any
- 25:29type of legislation. I mean, this is really the
- 25:32states taking back control and allowing their citizens and
- 25:37protecting their citizens and giving them the rights that the
- 25:40founding fathers set out in the Constitution that silver and
- 25:43gold are are money. Yeah, and I just want to before
- 25:47we close, I just got a question from an acquaintance of ours,
- 25:52John. He's watching and he asked how
- 25:55does legal tender status change the lives of those living
- 25:57paycheck to paycheck? And what that does?
- 26:01You know it by making gold and silver legal tender, as I said
- 26:03earlier, one that gives you a legal protections, you know,
- 26:06when you do transactions right now, like in the state of
- 26:09Florida, Florida has some of the worst barter laws, same with
- 26:11Texas. I've done barter deals and and
- 26:14I've had, and I've had people steal from that those
- 26:18arrangements. It would have qualified as a
- 26:20Grand Theft in if it was there was a monetary transaction.
- 26:25But because it was barter, I had no legal recourse or prosecute
- 26:29or take them to Criminal Court. I can do civil court for
- 26:32contract law, but there are no legal protections.
- 26:34That's one reason. And two, it gives confidence to
- 26:37people when you can pay your taxes in gold and silver, when
- 26:41the state starts accepting that, it gives people the confidence
- 26:44like, hey, maybe I should use this.
- 26:46And then when you use it digitally with a debit card, you
- 26:48can start spending it. So it's making, what we're doing
- 26:51is elevating in the minds of the people from seeing gold and
- 26:54silver as a commodity to actually seen it As for what
- 26:57it's been for thousands of years, money, transactional,
- 27:00settling debts and buying goods and services with it
- 27:03electronically and physically. So, and we're giving people the
- 27:07option. We're not getting rid of the
- 27:08Federal Reserve System. We're creating a, a parallel
- 27:11economy, a sound money economy where people can put their
- 27:14paychecks, they can put their, their retirement checks.
- 27:17Don't put it all in there. I'm not giving a financial
- 27:19advice. If you're on a fixed income,
- 27:21start putting a little bit into gold and silver to preserve it
- 27:25because you know, you're fixed and gold and silver does
- 27:28fluctuate in the short term, but over the long term, it always
- 27:30keeps up with inflation. So how does it help people that
- 27:34are living pay to paycheck? Stop storing your money.
- 27:37You're sorry. Your economic energy and a theft
- 27:40tool, the dollar, the euro, the yen, it's a theft tool of the
- 27:45government and the banks and the central banks.
- 27:47Put it into gold and silver and preserve your economic energy.
- 27:50And it's backed by nothing but debt, essentially.
- 27:53I mean, it's backed by by nothing but debt.
- 27:56And you know, yes, being able. And I like what you say because
- 27:59it's true, right? And I'm not giving financial
- 28:02advice, but I think a person who lives their life and puts a
- 28:06certain portion of their money aside in either gold or silver
- 28:10on a quarterly, monthly, annual basis, when they get to be the
- 28:15ripe old age like I AM 55 years old, they'd be real darn happy
- 28:19they they did it. So thank you, Daniel.
- 28:22It's always great to see you. I know you're working tirelessly
- 28:25out there for the for the silver and gold community.
- 28:28We appreciate you and we'll look forward to seeing you next time.
- 28:32Thank you for having me on.
