**URGENT** US States MOve to RECLAIM Silver & Gold as Money 💰💰 Are YOU Included? · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:32
Massive breaking news in the gold and silver community.
0:35
This is a story we need to follow closely.
0:38
Legal tender legislation, it's taking over in the United
0:43
States. We're going to give you all the
0:44
examples, the latest news from an expert in the field.
0:48
We're also going to talk about why this is so important, why
0:52
legal tender legislation should be a big deal to you as a
0:57
precious metals investor. Today, we are joined by Daniel
1:00
Diaz. He's with the Citizens for Sound
1:02
Money. Let's see if we can pull them up
1:04
here. Hello, Daniel.
1:05
Thank you for joining us. Hey, Ron, good to.
1:08
Be back. Hey, brother, I know you're
1:10
going to give us all the details about what's going on in the
1:14
country right now. This is big, big news.
1:17
But first, I want to ask you why?
1:19
Why should a precious metals investor even care if their
1:23
state is passing legal tender legislation?
1:26
Yeah. So that's a question that comes
1:28
up a lot when we are posting our victories on on X and and a
1:33
question that come up when I'm speaking.
1:35
And one of the main reasons is because we're trying to make
1:38
gold and silver legal tender again and and create a sound
1:41
money economy. So look, 778% of Americans, the
1:47
study came out last year in the summer says that that they're
1:52
living paycheck to paycheck. 78% of Americans living paycheck to
1:55
paycheck. Well, not $1000 to their name.
1:57
So if you walk into a room and you do a quick glance, 4 out of
2:01
five people broke. They don't.
2:03
They're living paycheck to paycheck and they don't know
2:05
why. They don't understand that
2:08
what's happening is that the dollar is being printed into
2:10
oblivion and people are losing their purchasing power and what
2:13
I call their economic energy. So right now, gold and silver is
2:18
categorized as personal property.
2:20
It's not categorized as money. And the legal tender legislation
2:24
that's going around the country as of today, there are now,
2:29
there are now 11 states that have made gold and silver legal
2:33
tender. We'll get to that in a minute.
2:35
And by making gold and silver legal tender, they're elevating
2:38
it from being personal property, which it's taxed at a different
2:43
level. And it's also gives people
2:46
consumer protections because when gold and silver is
2:49
considered a barter transaction, if you're trading back and forth
2:53
for goods and services, by elevating it to money, it's
2:56
treated as Federal Reserve, the same as Federal Reserve notes.
2:59
So it's extremely important to bring back a sound money economy
3:02
and to get people to feel confident in using gold and
3:06
silver that the states also accept them, whether initially
3:10
they're they're forced to accept it or it's voluntary, which most
3:13
states are, are, are doing. Like for example, Missouri, the
3:18
state's not going to accept physical gold and silver for the
3:21
payment of taxes. They will only accept electronic
3:23
gold and silver for the payment of taxes.
3:26
Florida, it's optional for any municipality all the way up to
3:30
the state government counties and even public schools to
3:32
accept gold and silver. But there's a qualification.
3:35
They have to have an account, what they call in Florida, a
3:37
qualified public depository, which basically means they have
3:40
to open up an account with a bank or credit union that that
3:42
can hold qualified public funds. So it's important to.
3:48
Yeah, I can't hear you. You're muted.
3:52
Let me, let me. I'm sorry.
3:53
I muted my microphone. You said something earlier that
3:56
blew me away and I and then I want to get in, but you said
3:59
that 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
4:03
So if I walk into a a church or a bar or wherever, basically 4
4:09
out of five of those people are broke.
4:11
Is it is it too harsh to say you're you're the guy with
4:15
Citizens for sound money? So is it?
4:17
But is it too harsh to say that those four out of five people
4:21
are basically living as debt slaves to a certain?
4:23
Degree. It's the truth.
4:26
That's what's happening, yeah. The dollar.
4:28
The dollar isn't money. The dollar is debt.
4:31
It's a currency. Yeah, yeah.
4:33
So they're, they're working and and they don't have enough money
4:36
to buy any real property that's going to appreciate in value.
4:40
And so they work for for paper money and then it just gets
4:44
debased and debased and debased over time is that.
4:48
OK, 100% and it's. Even.
4:49
All right. Sorry I interrupted you.
4:50
Yeah. Yeah, No, no.
4:52
And it's not even, I wouldn't even call it debasing.
4:54
I, I call it theft when you put your economic energy.
4:57
So this is something that I've been using recently when I speak
5:00
publicly at conferences or whatever, I am differentiating
5:05
money from currency. And the way I do that is by
5:07
focusing in on economic energy. So where you focus and you put
5:11
your economic energy is where your, your treasures are stored.
5:14
So go ahead and show it. Show that round.
5:16
Yeah, so there's there's a one ounce silver.
5:18
So if I, if you come over today, although it's going to be a long
5:22
flight because I think you're in Florida, but if you come over
5:24
today and cut my grass and I give you this, right, Very
5:28
likely 20 years from now, this is still going to have the same
5:33
value. Whereas if I give you $35.00
5:36
cash, I say here, here, Daniel, I'm going to pay you with, with
5:39
some of this stuff, you know, and your eyes light up.
5:42
Where do you think it's going to be in 20 years?
5:44
Is that is that a good example of what you're?
5:46
Talking about 20 years, I'm not even sure if we'll have the same
5:49
monitor dairy system. I mean, like, look, the world's
5:53
moving towards a digitized commodity world.
5:58
Every central bank in the world is buying gold and silver hand
6:02
over fist. May or was it April, April or
6:05
May? I was on recently with Andy
6:08
Scheckman and it was the Comex's largest delivery of gold in U.S.
6:13
history. I think it's the most gold the
6:15
US has bought in 30 or 40 years. Look, if you get out of your,
6:20
your daily life and just start looking what the world is doing,
6:23
every major central bank in the world is buying gold hand over
6:28
fist. They're turning in and not
6:30
buying U.S. Treasuries.
6:31
The dollar dominance is disappearing and they're moving
6:35
to real money. And then Basel 3 is elevating
6:39
gold from a commodity to a class one asset, which basically is
6:43
the same as as currency. The head of the of of the Bank
6:47
of International Settlement said, I think earlier this year
6:51
that gold is acting more like a currency than a commodity.
6:54
So so can I ask you a question quickly?
6:57
And then I promised to the viewer and thank you to our
6:59
viewers for being here. Thank you for being in the
7:02
basement. You're the most important part.
7:04
But I'm I'm wondering if they have the same question I do.
7:07
And that's about this. Is it Basil, Basil 3 from what I
7:11
understand that will be in July or sometime this summer and that
7:15
you and then that and that the United United States was the
7:19
last holdout basically is what I understand.
7:22
And then that will then elevate gold to this tier one asset like
7:26
the same thing as cash or US bonds.
7:29
Why? Why is that not being made a big
7:32
deal, a bigger deal of in the gold and silver community?
7:38
Well, the Basel 3 is more of a like the rules for the large
7:41
banks, institutional banks and, and, and essentially what
7:45
they're doing is you can, it's how they hold money on their
7:47
balance sheet. And they can right now, gold is
7:51
treated as a commodity on the balance sheet and by elevating
7:54
to tier one, it's considered like a currency, liquid assets.
7:57
So it, it's, it's just, that's an important distinction because
8:02
it's essentially what we're doing with legislation too,
8:03
right? It's going from a commodity to
8:05
money, right? And it's the same thing we're
8:07
doing at a micro, a smaller level.
8:09
Instead of all the banks around the world agreeing, the states
8:12
are doing it as well to protect themselves and to give people
8:15
the confidence to use gold and silver in transactions.
8:18
OK. So we, I promised everybody that
8:21
we would talk about this massive legislative, the wave that's
8:26
going across the United States, gold and silver legal tender.
8:30
I think there's nobody better to talk to than to you.
8:32
I know there's some breaking news.
8:34
It's, it's a fluid situation which develops.
8:38
What's the latest that you can share with us in terms of what
8:41
what you're seeing out there right now, Daniel?
8:43
The latest is happened yesterday.
8:46
Texas is the 5th state this year to make gold and silver legal
8:50
tender. So, so far this year we had
8:53
Alabama, Idaho, Florida, Missouri and now Texas.
8:59
The two largest Republican states in the country have now
9:02
made gold and silver legal tender and electronic payment
9:06
systems transferring the ownership of gold and silver
9:09
legal as legal tender. Same thing with Missouri,
9:12
Alabama and Idaho only made physical gold and silver legal
9:15
tender. And I just want to throw one
9:17
thing in that shocked me when I learned it.
9:19
The size of the economies in both Texas and Florida are
9:24
staggering. I don't know the the the details
9:26
but I you know this thing was like 1.
9:29
Florida's 1.7 trillion and we're the 15th largest economy in the
9:32
world if we were our country. Thank you.
9:36
I'm looking up, I'm looking up Texas right now Texas GDP is 2.7
9:41
trillion. So if you add Florida together
9:44
1.7 trillion + 2.7 trillion, that's 4.4 trillion.
9:50
And now I'm looking at the largest GPS in the world for the
9:53
countries GDP countries and that let's see where we are on the
9:57
country list. So if Texas and Florida united
10:00
their GDPS, we would be the third large, 3rd, no sorry, 4th
10:06
largest country in the world in GDP, right below Germany.
10:10
So this is a big deal, right? I mean, this isn't just Cowboys
10:15
and orange juice. This is like like a massive,
10:17
massive deal that these two states are moving forward with
10:21
legal tender legislation. Yeah.
10:23
And when you add the other nine states, GDPS together, that puts
10:27
us at #3 right behind China. Wow, wow, wow.
10:33
Yeah. So there we the 11 states in the
10:36
United States would have made gold and silver legal tender
10:40
would combine would be the third largest economy in the world
10:45
behind China and the United States.
10:47
Yeah. And this can only add to the
10:49
demand for gold and silver, I would imagine, Right.
10:52
I, I'll let you talk more about the specifics to the extent that
10:56
you're, you know, able to in regards to what's happening in
11:00
each of these states. But I know like for instance,
11:02
Florida, you're you're, you live in Florida.
11:05
So I would imagine you're probably very, very in tune with
11:08
what's going on there. I was there from day one.
11:11
I mean, I helped, I helped draft them the legislation with the
11:15
the writers and the sponsors and the government.
11:17
Government. I mean, I know, I know the
11:19
Florida bill better than any other bill.
11:20
And I think the next best bill would be Texas because I've been
11:23
helping out on taxes and then Missouri.
11:25
So in Florida is 36 pages. All the other states have a few
11:30
page bills. But Florida has done something
11:32
that no other state has done. And I think Florida has created
11:35
a model, model legislation for electronic transfer systems of
11:41
gold and silver. OK, OK, so how, how does it
11:45
work? What would if, if I'm living in
11:47
Florida, which I'm not, I live in Missouri, maybe you can tell
11:50
me what to expect in Missouri. But if I'm living in Florida and
11:53
I'm a gold and silver person, what, what kind of changes?
11:56
I mean, how would it, how's it going to impact someone who's a
11:59
a Floridian? So it's now law in Florida and
12:03
the law says it doesn't go into effect until July 1st.
12:05
So the reason for that is because of the regulatory
12:08
framework that we established, 4 companies that are transferred
12:13
gold and silver electronically. So there's two parts to the
12:16
Florida bill, Missouri bill and Texas bill.
12:20
You have the physical side, which I'll get into a second
12:22
because that's pretty easy. And then there's a digital side.
12:25
The digital side is where I think Florida is leading the
12:27
country because what we've done is we've integrated gold and
12:32
silver companies into current Florida regulatory framework for
12:35
transferring dollars. So all we did was we modified
12:39
the regulatory framework in Florida to accept gold and
12:41
silver custodians and gold and silver transactions.
12:45
We got the one thing we needed to get rid of was FDIC to
12:48
qualify as a money services business in custodian.
12:50
And then all they have to do in Florida, let's say Kinesis or
12:53
Glint or Alpine Gold Exchange with the UPMA want to start
12:57
transacting digitally. They go into the state of
12:59
Florida, they register as a money services business.
13:02
I think the fee to become MSB is 100 grand and you need to have
13:06
$3,000,000 in assets. That's it.
13:08
Pretty low bar for companies. And then if you operate in the
13:11
state of Florida, you have to have gold.
13:13
So you can either contract with a company that currently is a
13:17
custodian, licensed custodian, or you can open up your own
13:20
vault in Florida and have the have the gold and silver.
13:23
The legislation's unique. It says it has to be close
13:25
enough to police stations and emergency services for security
13:28
purposes. I mean, there's a lot more to
13:30
it, but that's the the 10,000. Foot view, yeah.
13:33
That's the gist of it. I mean, there's other things
13:36
about States and trusts. You don't have to worry about
13:38
that. Now on the physical side, this
13:41
is where it got interesting in Florida, we've been working with
13:44
the Senate staff for months and the 3rd to last iteration of the
13:50
bill after meeting with them and, and we got 95% of what we
13:55
wanted came in with a provision out of left field.
13:59
Nobody economic war rooms, Christian family coalition, us,
14:03
the government, nobody talked to these draft, these drafters
14:06
about this issue. And I called the, the drafters
14:08
of the bill. I'm like, what does this line
14:10
do? Why?
14:11
Why did you put it in here? What's your rationale?
14:12
The rationale for the IT was a one sentence liner and and it
14:16
changed like a like a 10 sentence line liner on the bill.
14:21
The one sentence liner would have nullified the entire
14:23
purpose of the bill making nothing legal tender.
14:26
Basically it said that the only thing that would be considered
14:29
legal tender in Florida would be gold and silver ingots, bars,
14:33
rounds or whatever that did not have any design.
14:38
It could only have the the weight impurity stamped on it.
14:42
Well, there's not a single product in the world that only
14:45
has the weight impurity mint stuck on it.
14:48
Everything has a mint mark. So we tried to push back on
14:52
that. They came back with a different
14:54
version that allows a mint mark. So now bars can be legal tender
15:00
and that's it. I mean, and US minted coin, US
15:02
minted coin is already legal tender.
15:04
There's a provision in the Florida bill.
15:05
So we try to push that and get that changed.
15:08
But it was so late in the legislative session that we
15:12
said, you know what, we'll come back next year and fix it.
15:14
Let's just get this through. It's the most robust legislation
15:17
in the country Electronically. We're making some physical gold
15:20
and silver legal tender. And then unintended consequence
15:24
of of this provision being in Florida was Texas took that same
15:29
provision and put into Texas. So the bill that passed
15:32
yesterday only 5%, not 5 to 10% of physical bullion, basically
15:38
bars with no design, only a mint mark, weight and purity are
15:42
legal. Tender and electronic currencies
15:44
legal. Tender, let me let me let me ask
15:46
you a question. I'm going to pull up the my
15:48
channel sponsor for gold and silver here first met and I
15:53
don't know if you can see this on the screen, but hold on.
15:56
Let me get to the right. Let me go to bars because they
16:01
have bars. I'm just wondering if they're if
16:03
these bars would qualify this to give everybody a visual.
16:08
There's a 10 oz. I don't know.
16:11
If that is their mint mark, yeah, that would qualify as
16:15
legal tender. OK, OK, OK.
16:17
And while and while we're here, if it's OK, I just want to say
16:20
thank you to the channel sponsor, First Mint.
16:23
They are a mint in Las Vegas, NV owned by First Majestic Silver,
16:30
Keith Neumeyer's company. They mine silver in Mexico, ship
16:34
it to Nevada and have it made into these world class silver
16:39
bullion end products. It's literally from the mine to
16:42
the mint. So if you if you buy silver from
16:45
first mint, it's never touched the Comex or the LBMA.
16:49
There's their Buffalo round, my personal favorite with the
16:52
Indian design. They got you're the snake.
16:55
And these are all unique to 1st mint.
16:57
So thank you, Daniel for for letting me know that if you're
17:01
in Florida or or Texas, you likely can use those first Mint
17:05
bars will will qualify as legal tender.
17:08
Yeah, but those rounds that they have would not qualify as legal
17:10
tender. Because they have a design on
17:12
them, but that'll get changed next year, yeah.
17:14
Yeah. Well, in Florida, Texas only
17:16
meets every other year. So they're going to have to deal
17:18
with that for two years in Texas till we're able to get back over
17:21
there and change it. So Florida we're definitely
17:23
going to try to start changing it when they have committee
17:25
weeks starting in I think it's August or September this year,
17:28
OK. So hopefully, hopefully before
17:31
session starts January, we'll will already have the law
17:35
changed. So that's the the situation in
17:38
Texas. In Florida, electronic transfer
17:40
is legal tender. Some bars are legal tender.
17:43
Now Missouri, Missouri hit us a Grand Slam.
17:46
Not only do they make electronic currents, not only have they
17:50
made electronic currency not legal tender, but being accepted
17:54
by the state as legal tender, it's a very nuanced as versus
17:58
being legal tender makes it is the difference between
18:01
constitutional and not constitutional.
18:03
You can't make electronic currency legal tender because
18:06
that would be a bill of credit if you treat it, if you're just
18:09
saying that you're accepting it for payment as legal tender,
18:12
that's fine. It's it's basically saying that
18:14
the state is recognizing gold and silver as legal tender.
18:18
And then bullion. All bullion in Missouri is legal
18:21
tender. All bullion in Idaho is legal
18:24
tender. And I haven't read the Alabama
18:25
bill, but I'm assuming it's similar.
18:28
Let me see. I'm just going to scan it quick.
18:32
It looks like yeah, refined gold bullion species.
18:35
Yep. So Alabama all bullion is legal
18:38
tender in Alabama. So three of the of the five
18:42
states, all bullion is legal tender physical, 3 states
18:46
electronic and then Arkansas because they even though
18:48
Arkansas made legal tender, gold and silver legal tender two
18:52
years ago, this year they also made electronic transfer, gold
18:55
and silver legal tender. So there's four states that have
18:58
made electronic systems, not electronic currency, electronic
19:01
systems to transfer legal tender ownership for payment and debts
19:09
and so forth. So super exciting.
19:11
We've almost doubled the amount of states.
19:14
We had six last year that made gold and silver legal tender and
19:17
then we added five more. That's an 80, I think an 88%
19:22
increase. Is that right?
19:24
Hold on. 6 divided by, sorry, 5 / 6.
19:30
Other way around 6 / 5. No, sorry.
19:35
You know what I'm I'm, I'm doing math 8383.3%.
19:40
So we increased the amount of states by 83.
19:43
Percent a little bit a a tad higher than the percentage of
19:47
Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck so.
19:50
Yeah, yeah. And you know, that's that's
19:52
heartbreaking, man, for me because when I'm traveling the
19:55
country, like I first realized that the statistic was true.
20:01
I had just read it last year in the summer and I went to my
20:03
local watering hole and I was talking and there's maybe 15
20:05
people at the bar and it. Quickly dawned on me as we were
20:09
talking about finances, that I was the only person in that room
20:12
that didn't live paycheck to paycheck out of 15 people at the
20:16
bar. And that when I realized that it
20:19
smacked me in the face that this statistic is real.
20:22
And then traveling to Missouri, we had last year, we had just
20:27
got it through the Senate. I was meeting with the chief of
20:28
staff of Democratic Senator and, and then I called him Uber and
20:31
the Uber driver passed me by and I realized that the driver was a
20:35
little older with a brand new Escalade.
20:37
So when I called the, the driver came back and she pulled up and
20:41
I got in and I noticed she was quite old.
20:43
I'm like, ma'am, do you mind if I ask you how old you are?
20:45
She said, I'm 78 years old. I'm like, why are you driving
20:50
Uber? She's like, well, I'm a widow
20:52
and I, my husband's Social Security, my Social Security and
20:57
our, our retirement doesn't pay enough for me to eat.
21:01
I'd have to drive Uber to eat. It pays for this car.
21:04
And if I didn't drive Uber, I wouldn't have enough money.
21:06
Same thing in Missouri. I had the manager of a hotel
21:09
tell me that she's working three jobs.
21:11
I'm like, why are you working three jobs as a manager of a
21:13
hotel? So I don't make enough to
21:14
survive. And then my last this year, I
21:18
went to a meeting at a church in Florida where we're talking
21:21
about people who want to get involved in government and we're
21:23
talking about what we're doing in Florida.
21:25
I had this old lady writing, started writing something.
21:27
I thought she was taking notes. She slid it across to me and
21:30
says my name is Beth. I'm a 94 1/2 year old woman and
21:34
I'm out spending my money. Please share my story with
21:38
people next time you talk about this.
21:40
And this is the real story of 78% of Americans across the the
21:44
country and they don't know why. And that that's why it's so
21:47
important to make gold and silver legal tender.
21:49
It gives people the option to store their economic energy and
21:52
something that preserves it. The only way to preserve your
21:56
economic energies to put it into money, because it's it's the
21:59
only way to prevent the theft of government.
22:01
And you're not, you're not talking about like, oh, you're
22:03
going to get rich by buying silver.
22:05
You're going to get rich by buying gold.
22:06
But no, what you will do, what you will do is preserve your
22:10
wealth. Preserve it like you call it
22:13
economic energy. My friend, Bald guy from bald
22:16
guy money says, you know, like silver and gold are like
22:19
batteries. Not that they store electric
22:22
energy, though they do. Silver conducts it very well,
22:25
but that they store economic energy like you talked about.
22:29
You know, I can you can get a, a, a tube of American silver
22:33
eagles and set it in the corner for 20 years, 10 years, five
22:38
years, 100 years, 1000 years. And it's going to preserve that
22:42
economic energy. Because you know, I talked about
22:44
first meant earlier you got to think these like with them, you
22:49
know, a lot of silver for instance, comes from Mexico.
22:52
There's a ton of work we never talk about in this, in this
22:56
business of silver and gold. How much actual work and effort
23:00
and energy goes into getting the metals out of the ground And
23:04
then from there it's just it's stored over the years.
23:07
Economic energy. At the digging of the dirt, the
23:10
processing machines multiply. The machines are force.
23:13
Multiplier right, of the economic energy and that's
23:15
another thing that I say, you know, like gold and silver is
23:18
money. That's where you that's what you
23:20
use to store your economic energy.
23:22
Everything else that is an asset is a wealth generating asset.
23:26
You know, whether it's cryptocurrency, businesses,
23:29
stocks, bonds, that those are force multipliers that could
23:33
potentially increase your economic energy.
23:35
So you store your gold and silver or your economic energy
23:38
and gold and silver to protect it, and then you invest it to to
23:42
increase your economic energy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
23:45
Well, Daniel, I want to say thank you for coming on.
23:48
I do want to run out quickly to your website to show everyone
23:52
the Citizens for Sound Money site.
23:55
And here we go, citizens. The number 4 sound money.
24:00
One of my favorite parts about this site besides this graphic
24:04
sound markets require sound money, is if you go up to the
24:07
top and you click on legislation and click on state list.
24:11
I know it's very difficult to keep this updated, but you guys
24:16
do a great job. It shows all the different
24:18
states. And then down here, if I go down
24:21
a little bit, yeah, there's an alphabetic list of states where
24:25
again, I know it's a fluid situation, so it's impossible to
24:28
keep it 100% accurate, but it gives a pretty good update in
24:32
terms of what's going, what's going on out there in the
24:35
market. Yeah, absolutely.
24:37
And we try to update it every week or every other week.
24:41
We need to do a final update. Now that legislative session is
24:43
ending for most states like Ohio and Pennsylvania and California
24:47
have year long sessions. I think there's one or two other
24:49
states. So we just got to do a final
24:51
update with everything that's happened this year and then
24:53
we'll that will be a resource for everybody to find the the
24:55
bills and the laws that pass. Sounds good, you know, give me
24:59
one second before we say goodbye.
25:01
I do want to say thank you to my other sponsors, Ledger, the
25:04
cryptocurrency hardware wallet security leader, and Moonpay.
25:09
Moonpay is the leading fintech company, over 30 million
25:12
customers, 180 countries. Thank you to them for sponsoring
25:16
Ron's basement. Thank you to Daniel Diaz for
25:18
coming on and giving us this update.
25:21
It is a big deal. You know, when I first got into
25:25
gold and silver 20 years ago, no one ever talked about like any
25:29
type of legislation. I mean, this is really the
25:32
states taking back control and allowing their citizens and
25:37
protecting their citizens and giving them the rights that the
25:40
founding fathers set out in the Constitution that silver and
25:43
gold are are money. Yeah, and I just want to before
25:47
we close, I just got a question from an acquaintance of ours,
25:52
John. He's watching and he asked how
25:55
does legal tender status change the lives of those living
25:57
paycheck to paycheck? And what that does?
26:01
You know it by making gold and silver legal tender, as I said
26:03
earlier, one that gives you a legal protections, you know,
26:06
when you do transactions right now, like in the state of
26:09
Florida, Florida has some of the worst barter laws, same with
26:11
Texas. I've done barter deals and and
26:14
I've had, and I've had people steal from that those
26:18
arrangements. It would have qualified as a
26:20
Grand Theft in if it was there was a monetary transaction.
26:25
But because it was barter, I had no legal recourse or prosecute
26:29
or take them to Criminal Court. I can do civil court for
26:32
contract law, but there are no legal protections.
26:34
That's one reason. And two, it gives confidence to
26:37
people when you can pay your taxes in gold and silver, when
26:41
the state starts accepting that, it gives people the confidence
26:44
like, hey, maybe I should use this.
26:46
And then when you use it digitally with a debit card, you
26:48
can start spending it. So it's making, what we're doing
26:51
is elevating in the minds of the people from seeing gold and
26:54
silver as a commodity to actually seen it As for what
26:57
it's been for thousands of years, money, transactional,
27:00
settling debts and buying goods and services with it
27:03
electronically and physically. So, and we're giving people the
27:07
option. We're not getting rid of the
27:08
Federal Reserve System. We're creating a, a parallel
27:11
economy, a sound money economy where people can put their
27:14
paychecks, they can put their, their retirement checks.
27:17
Don't put it all in there. I'm not giving a financial
27:19
advice. If you're on a fixed income,
27:21
start putting a little bit into gold and silver to preserve it
27:25
because you know, you're fixed and gold and silver does
27:28
fluctuate in the short term, but over the long term, it always
27:30
keeps up with inflation. So how does it help people that
27:34
are living pay to paycheck? Stop storing your money.
27:37
You're sorry. Your economic energy and a theft
27:40
tool, the dollar, the euro, the yen, it's a theft tool of the
27:45
government and the banks and the central banks.
27:47
Put it into gold and silver and preserve your economic energy.
27:50
And it's backed by nothing but debt, essentially.
27:53
I mean, it's backed by by nothing but debt.
27:56
And you know, yes, being able. And I like what you say because
27:59
it's true, right? And I'm not giving financial
28:02
advice, but I think a person who lives their life and puts a
28:06
certain portion of their money aside in either gold or silver
28:10
on a quarterly, monthly, annual basis, when they get to be the
28:15
ripe old age like I AM 55 years old, they'd be real darn happy
28:19
they they did it. So thank you, Daniel.
28:22
It's always great to see you. I know you're working tirelessly
28:25
out there for the for the silver and gold community.
28:28
We appreciate you and we'll look forward to seeing you next time.
28:32
Thank you for having me on.
