- 0:04Speaker 1: Drama, darling. Drama, darling. Drama, darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hello, everybody, and we're back. We got Roni on the
- 0:25Speaker 2: docket today. I'm so excited to talk about it. Welcome in, darlings.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Welcome in. Deanna Chang, welcome in.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Hi, welcome in. Oh, thank you for my own personal. Yeah,
- 0:40Speaker 3: that's for you, babe. I'm feeling welcomed. I am feeling
- 0:44Speaker 3: properly welcomed in.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Oh, good.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I am feeling so jazzed up because we've got a
- 0:51Speaker 2: premiere on our hands, and I will waste zero time
- 0:56Speaker 2: getting into it because we have Martha Stewart. That is
- 1:00Speaker 2: such a fierce name. compelling character of our time that
- 1:05Speaker 2: they were like, forget the rest of the housewives. Let's
- 1:09Speaker 2: bring on Martha and she's going to open up this
- 1:13Speaker 2: show this season. Thank you. Blessings. I'm so happy to
- 1:18Speaker 2: be here. Oh, can we just take a deep cleansing
- 1:21Speaker 2: breath for Martha, Deanna? Beautiful, beautiful. Everybody, let's just take
- 1:28Speaker 2: a minute and have our zen moment with Martha. Shall
- 1:33Speaker 2: I introduce the wig cam for today, which is a
- 1:35Speaker 2: Martha Stewart wig. If you're watching this on Patreon, you're
- 1:41Speaker 2: seeing a wig that is actually Martha Stewart, a.k.a. also
- 1:45Speaker 2: Captain Sandy.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah, the wigs are, this is a, you know, they're multi-purpose, obviously.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Clearly.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah. We have to, in this economy, you know, we
- 1:57Speaker 3: have to be flexible.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I mean, when Hollywood wigs on Hollywood Boulevard shut down,
- 2:03Speaker 2: it changed my life forever, Deanna, because there's only so
- 2:07Speaker 2: many wigs you can get online, you know?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You look shocked.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Well, I didn't know you went through something like that.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Thank you for acknowledging that. I would like to talk
- 2:18Speaker 2: about it. It was the year, I would believe it
- 2:21Speaker 2: was about 2016. 2016. When it went under. Oh, it
- 2:26Speaker 2: still does. Because they had, and we'll get to Roni
- 2:30Speaker 2: in a second, okay? I just, I want to give
- 2:33Speaker 2: Hollywood Wigs its due acknowledgement. And I can see in
- 2:37Speaker 2: Deanna's eyes that she has space for me and compassion.
- 2:43Speaker 3: No, and I have the, I have it in my mind,
- 2:47Speaker 3: my mind's eye, the store.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know what? It was right down the
- 2:50Speaker 2: street from Hollywood Wigs. toys and costumes, you know, like
- 2:54Speaker 2: right by Second City. Right. So just a stone's throw
- 2:58Speaker 2: from there. And I was popping, you know, those were
- 3:01Speaker 2: my stomping grounds. I was at Second City on the stage,
- 3:03Speaker 2: popped back down, head on over to Hollywood Wigs, head
- 3:06Speaker 2: on over to Hollywood Costumes, Toys and Costumes, whatever it's called,
- 3:09Speaker 2: which is still open today. Almost every like housewife show
- 3:13Speaker 2: that needs to go buy a costume for a party
- 3:15Speaker 2: or Halloween, they're going to go there. So I was
- 3:18Speaker 2: just bopping around. And inside of Hollywood Wigs, was a
- 3:23Speaker 2: wig stylist and so you could go in there and
- 3:26Speaker 2: say and so she would do the greatest drag queen
- 3:30Speaker 2: wigs you've ever seen and the likes of me so
- 3:35Speaker 2: I'm an artisan she did I.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Mean but truly this is a you know this is
- 3:42Speaker 3: a a craftsman it's like going to a cobbler like
- 3:46Speaker 3: they they're Yes. A dying breed.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Thank you. You can't just walk into a wig store
- 3:51Speaker 2: nowadays and be like, can you make a Kim Zolciak wig?
- 3:54Speaker 2: Here's a picture. Let's pick out the wig to start with.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And now I want you to make it Zolciak. And
- 4:00Speaker 2: that's what they did. And that's what they did.
- 4:04Speaker 1: So.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's not the time and place. So sorry. Thank you.
- 4:10Speaker 2: So anyway, sometimes we're getting wigs off of Amazon and
- 4:14Speaker 2: they're not cutting it. And I'm not going to be getting,
- 4:16Speaker 2: you know, real hair wigs at this point in my career.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I can't do it.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Those are crazy. They're thousands of dollars.
- 4:25Speaker 2: They are. So anyway, the wig cam today is Martha Stewart, a.k.a.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Captain Sandy. You'll see it again with Captain Sandy, but
- 4:33Speaker 2: I'll throw a hat on it or some sunglasses. Yesterday,
- 4:36Speaker 2: as you know, Deanna, it was Lisa Barlow and Kyle
- 4:39Speaker 2: Richards with a cowboy hat. But getting back to Martha Stewart,
- 4:43Speaker 2: who is such a legend that, you know, I couldn't
- 4:47Speaker 2: wait for this. Everyone was like, are you excited for
- 4:50Speaker 2: New York? I was like, Martha Stewart's makeup artist is
- 4:55Speaker 2: going to be on there. We've already seen that she's
- 4:57Speaker 2: going to make a cameo. What else do I need? Nothing.
- 5:01Speaker 2: They could have the worst season in history. And I
- 5:04Speaker 2: will still be like, this is the greatest season of
- 5:06Speaker 2: all times.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Well, I love that. I didn't have as much get
- 5:11Speaker 3: up and go for this series coming into it.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You and everyone else, all the darlings felt the same way.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Low expectations.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Very on the ground. And I will say... I'm in ground.
- 5:23Speaker 3: On the ground. And I don't think their trailer did
- 5:27Speaker 3: at least the first episode justice because... Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Thank you. I don't know.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I mean, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I thought it was spectacular. And I think in the
- 5:38Speaker 2: back of my mind, perhaps I also, too, outside of
- 5:41Speaker 2: the Martha stuff, had a very low bar. And because
- 5:45Speaker 2: we've got, you know, a couple of new gals coming
- 5:47Speaker 2: in here. We've got Haley Glassman. We have Daisy. And
- 5:52Speaker 2: we have Erica, who's renting a dress. Thank you, Rent
- 5:55Speaker 2: the Runway, or wherever she got it. But, like, thank you,
- 5:58Speaker 2: my friend. We know you're married to a tech billionaire.
- 6:01Speaker 2: but you showed up in a gold sequin that you rented.
- 6:04Speaker 2: And I can relate. Thank you for that.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We're starting from ground zero with these gals in a sense,
- 6:13Speaker 2: but we do.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 2: And we do have a little bit of some, the
- 6:16Speaker 2: threads of some structure from yesteryear and that's where we're
- 6:21Speaker 2: picking up. And I, I am so here for it.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I have some darling comments on the Patreon that just
- 6:28Speaker 2: want to read. And then we're going to get right
- 6:30Speaker 2: into Daisy's place in Battery Park.
- 6:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So Joanna says, Psy breaking down about her marriage was
- 6:36Speaker 2: very good. Love the Carrie Bradshaw opening. That was awesome.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Thank you. Right.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It was like pulled from Sex and the City. And
- 6:44Speaker 3: at first I was like the movie, you know, and
- 6:47Speaker 3: I'm like, is this like, no, smart. It's the Sex
- 6:51Speaker 3: and the City opening for the movies. Like that's where
- 6:53Speaker 3: we're at.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Smart smart it is and she started it like she's
- 6:59Speaker 2: there and the voiceovers by the way the narration of
- 7:02Speaker 2: each character very sex in the city um and uh
- 7:08Speaker 2: okay erica the billionaire renting clothes is comical it's definitely
- 7:11Speaker 2: lighter and brighter than before by brin okay we've got
- 7:16Speaker 2: con says i watched about two-thirds of it and it
- 7:18Speaker 2: wasn't and was enjoying it opening scene with martha stewart
- 7:21Speaker 2: caught me off guard oh because you didn't know was
- 7:23Speaker 2: coming con Alyssa Newby says, watching Haley have a conversation
- 7:30Speaker 2: is very interesting. And what's a lavender marriage? Do we know?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Okay. What is it?
- 7:39Speaker 3: So it's interesting.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Come through, how to be less old. Let's go, Substack.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Okay. I mean, a lavender marriage is when two people
- 7:49Speaker 3: have taken to the courts and they've made it official
- 7:53Speaker 3: under the eyes of God in America. They're married, but
- 7:57Speaker 3: one or both are gay.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 8:02Speaker 3: But they are functioning, forward-facing as a straight couple.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Oh my God, that's so interesting. So it's basically like
- 8:09Speaker 2: kind of a compatibility arrangement for maybe some stability and
- 8:15Speaker 2: structure within a couple so that you can perhaps enjoy that. uh,
- 8:21Speaker 2: that your lifestyle, your sexual lifestyle as preferred or emotional,
- 8:25Speaker 2: what have you, um, in a pied-à-terre.
- 8:29Speaker 3: That's right. And, you know, I always have thought of
- 8:31Speaker 3: a lavender marriage. I think, I think in general, the
- 8:35Speaker 3: woman is straight and the guy is gay. That's the
- 8:38Speaker 3: general setup. And a lot of times I think it's
- 8:40Speaker 3: for kids to have kids and, you know, a lifestyle.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 3: But I think this may go in the opposite direction
- 8:47Speaker 3: where it's lavender for the ladies, the color lavender, and
- 8:51Speaker 3: maybe the guy is a straight man.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Maybe they're both gay.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:55Speaker 3: So we haven't met him yet.
- 8:57Speaker 2: So it's so exciting. I mean, what was wild is
- 9:00Speaker 2: that when Erin was getting this information for the first time,
- 9:04Speaker 2: along with the rest of.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Us, it seemed like it, unless she was just getting
- 9:10Speaker 3: the Yeah, I couldn't tell if she was getting it
- 9:13Speaker 3: all for the first time or she was just learning
- 9:15Speaker 3: about that she broke her nose on a set of doubles,
- 9:19Speaker 3: double Ds.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Set of doubles, set of drama darlings. I mean, those
- 9:23Speaker 2: drama darlings up in her face. And I was trying
- 9:26Speaker 2: to visualize and I'm thinking, is it just the forward
- 9:30Speaker 2: penetration movement that would cause such force? And I still
- 9:37Speaker 2: can't see it. Like how maybe they were, they just,
- 9:40Speaker 2: you know how you bonk heads? that had to have
- 9:43Speaker 2: been what it is, right?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Well, it also could have been the way I was
- 9:47Speaker 3: imagining it is the gal was laying down and she
- 9:50Speaker 3: had some fakers and those can be hard. And maybe
- 9:54Speaker 3: similar to last episode when Tamara and Eddie were out
- 9:59Speaker 3: in about and like he face planted into her ass
- 10:04Speaker 3: which I just found that's so shocking uh too comfortable
- 10:09Speaker 3: on camera thanks.
- 10:10Speaker 2: But yes you can say that again.
- 10:14Speaker 3: You know um gosh might might be time to We're
- 10:18Speaker 3: just face planting into ass.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But besides the point, if those were fake and hard
- 10:26Speaker 3: from yesteryear, those were a harder, a harder product.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Get those out, honey.
- 10:34Speaker 3: So she might have dove into some, who knows, just like.
- 10:39Speaker 2: The rocky shore of a bosom.
- 10:41Speaker 3: You know, and maybe she thought it was going to,
- 10:44Speaker 3: maybe it was a bosom she thought was going to
- 10:46Speaker 3: hold her. Meanwhile, she went into the sternum. It's so
- 10:49Speaker 3: hard to say.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Oh, sternum. Interesting. That would make way more sense. Maybe
- 10:56Speaker 2: she was like, as we conjecture on what happened, our
- 11:00Speaker 2: conjecture on this would be maybe she was going to
- 11:03Speaker 2: motorboat in the moment and then really drop the anchor
- 11:09Speaker 2: on that pretty quickly on her nose and had some regrets.
- 11:13Speaker 2: But I also was, I loved the follow-up questions when
- 11:17Speaker 2: Erin was like, did you see her again? Well, first
- 11:20Speaker 2: of all, did you have an orgasm? Did you see
- 11:22Speaker 2: her again? And both answers were, well, I don't remember.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And then, yes, she saw her again. I loved it.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Yeah. It's good.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Boy, that causes a lot of damage. I mean, who knew?
- 11:34Speaker 2: But also, you know, ladies, be careful about what's in
- 11:37Speaker 2: those drama darlings because... these days you got to get
- 11:41Speaker 2: that out. There's so many issues are happening with what
- 11:44Speaker 2: was put in. So upgrade, get them out, do what
- 11:47Speaker 2: you got to do. Let's take care of ourselves, you know?
- 11:50Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 11:51Speaker 2: PSA.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Quick PSA. So let's deal with Martha because we can't.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we're not going to skate over it. Okay, let's go.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I need to go beat by beat.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Okay, just like, there she is. So, I thought to myself, wait,
- 12:09Speaker 3: is Martha just coming here for the show, but she
- 12:12Speaker 3: usually goes to Martha? And then it kind of got answered,
- 12:16Speaker 3: I think.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you got your question answered, that she loves it there,
- 12:19Speaker 2: popcorn ceilings and all. She seemed very comfortable.
- 12:23Speaker 3: That was the best part of that scene, is that
- 12:27Speaker 3: whatever these two, their relationship is very comfortable, and that
- 12:33Speaker 3: was so much fun to watch.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It was... heartwarming to see the bond between the two
- 12:40Speaker 2: of them, knowing that she's been with her in multiple
- 12:44Speaker 2: places in, you know, Dubai, who knows where else, you know,
- 12:50Speaker 2: doing her makeup at lunches and things like that. But
- 12:52Speaker 2: they truly have a friendship. Yes.
- 12:56Speaker 3: And to have Martha, I mean, the idea of her
- 12:59Speaker 3: coming swinging through and just.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Just you know she's going to be upset. You know,
- 13:07Speaker 3: I already know she's aggravated with all of my choices.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Oh my God.
- 13:12Speaker 2: She's aggravated that she has a family because she's like, well,
- 13:15Speaker 2: you were sleeping or doing whatever you do to make
- 13:18Speaker 2: breakfast or whatever for your family. I was up reading
- 13:26Speaker 2: an article about J.F.K. Jr. It's an editorial. Yeah, she's
- 13:31Speaker 2: irritated and I think she can't wait for Daisy to be,
- 13:36Speaker 2: I mean, she probably wishes Daisy was single and the
- 13:39Speaker 2: kids were grown because she probably wants to hobnob with
- 13:42Speaker 2: her all over town all the time. And I want
- 13:44Speaker 2: that for them too, quite frankly.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Absolutely. And Daisy, you know, I've been, we've been clocking
- 13:51Speaker 3: Martha's face for the last few years because she's looked
- 13:55Speaker 3: so stunning and the makeup's been so good. So to
- 13:59Speaker 3: see that we now have on our side.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:03Speaker 3: The girl behind the face, you know, is exciting.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Didn't you love when they showed the setup of her makeup?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Like that whole spread. I paused my TV and I
- 14:16Speaker 2: took a nice shot of it. Oh, good. Because I
- 14:19Speaker 2: really want to get in there. And I'd love to see.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I mean, you can't see the bottoms of the items, unfortunately.
- 14:26Speaker 2: But listen, you can go to Google Image Search and
- 14:29Speaker 2: you can pop some of those things in and see
- 14:30Speaker 2: what they're doing. Yeah.
- 14:32Speaker 3: What she's got. Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Now, Martha, with that lighting, you know, first thing in
- 14:37Speaker 2: the morning, bright sunshine. Gosh darn, she looks great. And
- 14:42Speaker 2: let's also acknowledge that she has had work done. I mean,
- 14:46Speaker 2: it's not like she hasn't had work done, but it
- 14:48Speaker 2: is so good. And she hasn't overdone it. And it's
- 14:51Speaker 2: just perfect. And then we get a whole nother level
- 14:55Speaker 2: of I party with John John, where we actually have
- 15:01Speaker 2: someone who went to lunch. With Jon Jon to talk
- 15:05Speaker 2: about George. And the reveal that she was with him
- 15:10Speaker 2: the Monday before the Friday. I like how she was
- 15:13Speaker 2: very specific. And she was like, well, what are you
- 15:17Speaker 2: doing this weekend? And who's flying? And who's your co-pilot?
- 15:23Speaker 2: We've never had that information. It's eerie. It sends chills
- 15:27Speaker 2: down your spine. And I forgot that Carolyn Bessette's sister
- 15:31Speaker 2: was on the plane too.
- 15:32Speaker 3: So you didn't watch Love Story that came out.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. I wanted to and I never did.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And now I think that, I think maybe like over Thanksgiving,
- 15:42Speaker 2: I want to carve out some time. You know, I
- 15:44Speaker 2: got to look for, I got to look ahead. Love
- 15:46Speaker 2: Story and Carol's book, because I haven't read What Remains either.
- 15:49Speaker 2: That was an option for this summer's book club, but
- 15:52Speaker 2: we chose Reza's book. So I'd love to jump into
- 15:55Speaker 2: What Remains. Have you seen it?
- 15:57Speaker 3: I've never read it.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Okay. Okay. But you saw Love Story?
- 16:01Speaker 3: I did see Love Story, and that's why it's top
- 16:03Speaker 3: of mind. But I do think that her sister has
- 16:06Speaker 3: been left out of the story, just like the people
- 16:09Speaker 3: who were in the plane with Kobe have been left
- 16:11Speaker 3: out of the story. You know, you get... You know,
- 16:14Speaker 3: it just... It's what happens when there's... But yes, like
- 16:19Speaker 3: her poor mother lost everything.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Oh, my God. It's horrific. It's really sad.
- 16:24Speaker 3: It's horrific.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And I love that he... Was comfortable asking her for
- 16:29Speaker 2: advice on his magazine because we all knew.
- 16:31Speaker 3: He needed it.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah. What a time that was.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. And from the show, you know, he may
- 16:39Speaker 3: have been a little ahead of his time with the
- 16:42Speaker 3: magazine in terms of the type of content.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I think so. I do.
- 16:47Speaker 3: So sometimes you just don't hit it at the right time.
- 16:50Speaker 3: And then all these, you know, ne'er-do-wells come.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I feel like that happens to a lot of brilliant people. Yeah.
- 16:57Speaker 2: They're too far ahead. And then they're the ones who
- 17:01Speaker 2: really pave the way, but very rarely acknowledged when the
- 17:05Speaker 2: rest catches up. Never. In terms, I mean, it could
- 17:08Speaker 2: be anything from inventions to creativity to anything, to publishing,
- 17:12Speaker 2: to whatever. But it is interesting. I'm glad we're on
- 17:16Speaker 2: the same page about that. I do appreciate that.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Just also, I want to say, because I mean, Martha
- 17:23Speaker 3: had a juggernaut of a magazine going at the time.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Talk about striking it right at the right time.
- 17:32Speaker 3: And then she had her, you know, but she's back.
- 17:37Speaker 3: But also, it's just nice to see a man going
- 17:40Speaker 3: to a woman for advice. Just say that.
- 17:43Speaker 2: You know, I didn't even think about that. And you're right.
- 17:45Speaker 2: It's certainly something to be acknowledged. Because it doesn't really
- 17:49Speaker 2: happen that often. And it just goes to show that
- 17:53Speaker 2: he was humble enough to, you know, ask for some help.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Or smart enough. Because that's the person doing it. You know,
- 17:59Speaker 3: go to her.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Also, you know what? Maybe, and it says a lot
- 18:03Speaker 2: about him. I didn't watch Love Story, so I don't
- 18:05Speaker 2: really know much about him. And I don't know how
- 18:07Speaker 2: he's portrayed. I haven't read books about him. But, you know,
- 18:10Speaker 2: obviously his mother was a huge part of his life.
- 18:12Speaker 2: So maybe he was more comfortable going to women, you know?
- 18:14Speaker 3: I think so. I do think so. Mm-hmm. And his
- 18:18Speaker 3: sister was very involved. But he was, I mean, the
- 18:20Speaker 3: way they show him in the show in terms of
- 18:22Speaker 3: George is like he wasn't, you know, laser focused. He
- 18:29Speaker 3: was here, there, and everywhere.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You know.
- 18:33Speaker 2: So she moseys on into the kitchen. And this is
- 18:36Speaker 2: where she's like, I need to eat something. So let
- 18:39Speaker 2: me just see what, oh, no. Okay. What is it?
- 18:44Speaker 2: It's disgusting. I mean, I love that she was fully disgusted.
- 18:49Speaker 2: It's disgusting. Truly, Daisy knew it was coming. And I
- 18:54Speaker 2: love that she's like, you know, got to hide things
- 18:56Speaker 2: from her because she knows it's going to get her goat.
- 18:59Speaker 2: And she's blaming her husband for it, which is just so,
- 19:02Speaker 2: so great. And the pot's got to turn those pots around.
- 19:06Speaker 2: And then the teapot doesn't go. It's wonderful. It's everything
- 19:10Speaker 2: you want to see from Martha Stewart in someone's home.
- 19:14Speaker 3: And then just a full take to camera whispering there's
- 19:18Speaker 3: so much to be done, you know?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So much.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Just endless. There's nothing not to be done here.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Right.
- 19:27Speaker 3: You know, everything.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I always love when New York comes back because you
- 19:31Speaker 2: can learn how to live a little smarter with they
- 19:34Speaker 2: have such minimal space. And I always love to see it.
- 19:37Speaker 2: You know, you got to hang those pots.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 19:39Speaker 2: And It's great. I mean, the size of that teapot. Now,
- 19:43Speaker 2: I don't use a teapot anymore. I mean, I have
- 19:45Speaker 2: an electric tea kettle that I use sometimes and I'll
- 19:48Speaker 2: bring that out, but it's... hidden. But it's like, you know,
- 19:51Speaker 2: I'm not going to, you're going to have that teapot
- 19:55Speaker 2: and you're going to leave it there because there's nowhere
- 19:57Speaker 2: else to put it, you know? So you better be
- 19:59Speaker 2: using it. Yeah. All right.
- 20:02Speaker 3: And you are going to put a couple of, you know,
- 20:05Speaker 3: wine coolers in your son's little fridge.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Oh my God. That was so funny.
- 20:13Speaker 3: Just overall, these new broads are giving real to me,
- 20:22Speaker 3: which is so important. Now, did Hailey take her shirt
- 20:27Speaker 3: off at the RealReal? Yeah, that was annoying. I'm not
- 20:31Speaker 3: buying that bit of work, of stage work, but- But overall,
- 20:39Speaker 3: I'm like, I think they're authentic. And that is so good.
- 20:44Speaker 2: It's shocking. I mean, because you have to try so hard,
- 20:49Speaker 2: you know, to get a show off the ground. And
- 20:51Speaker 2: I think the New York ladies from before did what
- 20:54Speaker 2: they could do. And, you know, they didn't have a
- 20:58Speaker 2: seamless transition from the old guard to the new.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Still don't. Still don't.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But they have brought in some good help. They have
- 21:07Speaker 2: recruited some good troops. And I am very excited about it.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Haley is about as quirky as it gets. I mean,
- 21:17Speaker 2: this stoner, I'm loving.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sorry. I was calling... Daisy?
- 21:22Speaker 1: Daisy.
- 21:22Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I called her. Yes. Sorry. I was saying
- 21:25Speaker 3: Daisy seems... Like they both, they all do. But I
- 21:29Speaker 3: think I said Haley Batson.
- 21:30Speaker 2: You know what? We all, I think we knew what
- 21:32Speaker 2: you meant. We're on the same page. We're still getting
- 21:33Speaker 2: these names worked out. And because you've got a lot
- 21:36Speaker 2: of long, like, you know, extension, long blonde extensions and
- 21:40Speaker 2: a lot of lip work. When they showed that article of,
- 21:46Speaker 2: of John Gosselin and Haley Glassman, I about was like,
- 21:53Speaker 2: this isn't the same person. And I still will never
- 21:56Speaker 2: understand how that's the same person. I won't. You cannot
- 22:00Speaker 2: convince me that that's the same person. I won't hear it.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Wow. But that was probably 25 years ago.
- 22:10Speaker 2: If I show you a picture, if I see a
- 22:12Speaker 2: picture of you from 25 years ago or me, we're
- 22:15Speaker 2: going to look relatively the same. No, I know. That
- 22:18Speaker 2: is the most shocking thing. transition I've ever seen. Maybe, like,
- 22:23Speaker 2: I guess if you take off her makeup, her eye makeup,
- 22:26Speaker 2: which is a lot, and so that definitely does something,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but I know she's got, obviously, a lot of lip filler.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It's like.
- 22:32Speaker 3: She broke her nose on some boobs, so... That's right.
- 22:35Speaker 3: There's that.
- 22:38Speaker 2: So we don't know if any work was done there,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you know, like what people do when they're like, I
- 22:42Speaker 2: had to get sinus surgery, and then I just decided
- 22:44Speaker 2: to take this lump out. Oh, bullshit. But... But those lips,
- 22:51Speaker 2: they don't, they're lying, you know, but she looks great.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And I love the rollerblades, fur coat, vape in the
- 23:01Speaker 2: middle of the street, like a Kelly Bensimon.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Right. And you don't, listen, rollerblading is vintage. You know,
- 23:12Speaker 3: I don't, I mean, maybe it's happening in New York
- 23:15Speaker 3: and I'm just not aware, but I haven't seen. They
- 23:19Speaker 3: are back? Okay.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Yeah. They've come back. They started to come back maybe
- 23:23Speaker 2: a couple years ago, which actually tracks because that's probably
- 23:26Speaker 2: when they filmed. Okay.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah. It just felt like she was not playing around.
- 23:34Speaker 3: She knows her way around a pair of rollerblades. That's real.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Maybe not always in a fur coat. Maybe not always
- 23:43Speaker 3: down the dead of the street because they blocked it
- 23:46Speaker 3: off and she was living.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 3: She knows her way around a pair of blades. That's
- 23:51Speaker 3: for sure.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I will say that I'm in the rollerblade club. I
- 23:58Speaker 2: used to rollerblade a lot.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Did you?
- 24:03Speaker 1: No.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Are you judging me? No. I'm kind of getting a
- 24:07Speaker 2: vibe that I'm kind of getting like a, really? Like a, huh?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Sort of a, really? I can't quite. Listen, I'd show
- 24:16Speaker 2: you pictures, but My family home burned down, so I
- 24:20Speaker 2: don't have... Oh, Jesus, Amy.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Don't do this to me. Oh, my God.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I'm kidding.
- 24:26Speaker 3: So are we talking back in the heat of the craze?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 2: The heat of the craze.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, of course I had a pair and
- 24:35Speaker 3: I tried them. I just wasn't particularly good at it. Oh,
- 24:37Speaker 3: I was.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I mean, I took to those gross point streets like
- 24:41Speaker 2: nobody's ever seen before.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Wow.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Wowies, owies. My dad had a pair. Wow. Oh, Lord.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Here they go. Here they come. Yeah. Here they come.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Those Phillips on those blades. And my dad shocked me
- 24:56Speaker 2: one day. I probably was that age when he was like,
- 24:59Speaker 2: you know, I was a speed skater. I was like, what?
- 25:03Speaker 3: It's like, who are you?
- 25:05Speaker 2: And at what point and for how long he was
- 25:07Speaker 2: a speed skater at some point? I don't know. But
- 25:10Speaker 2: because I didn't know it until he got on these
- 25:13Speaker 2: rollerblades and he's crossing over, crossing over. He's putting his hand,
- 25:18Speaker 2: the one hand behind his back, and he's doing like
- 25:20Speaker 2: the speed skating move. I'm like, what is, who are you?
- 25:25Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, I didn't tell you? I'm like, no,
- 25:29Speaker 2: what are you doing?
- 25:32Speaker 3: God, that's a real reveal.
- 25:35Speaker 2: It was to a 12-year-old, you know? Okay, so you
- 25:40Speaker 2: were 12. I would imagine. 12 or 13. That feels
- 25:46Speaker 2: ahead of.
- 25:46Speaker 3: The curve, Amy.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Ahead of the rollerblading curve.
- 25:50Speaker 3: You were not 12. Hold on. Let's just do where
- 25:54Speaker 3: we don't need to, but I am so curious.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Because I feel like- Should we do like, when did,
- 25:59Speaker 2: do you want to look up, when did rollerblades become trendy? Okay, great.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I'm very excited about this.
- 26:04Speaker 3: I think we need it.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Maybe I should bump it up to 14 or 15.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Do you think?
- 26:10Speaker 3: It says in the 90s.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Huh.
- 26:12Speaker 3: I had it like late.
- 26:15Speaker 2: 90s, early 2000s. Oh, you did? Oh, okay. In my head.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Got it. Okay. Fair enough. Well, maybe, I mean, who knows? Look,
- 26:23Speaker 2: hockey town. Michigan is hockey town. We love hockey. Maybe
- 26:28Speaker 2: the rollerblade trend got started a little earlier there. I mean,
- 26:31Speaker 2: who knows?
- 26:31Speaker 3: It's possible. It really is possible, you know?
- 26:35Speaker 2: Go Red Wings.
- 26:36Speaker 3: I don't think anyone in my high school was rollerblading.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Like I saw that out here in California. So I
- 26:42Speaker 3: don't know.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You know, this is a great question for the darlings
- 26:46Speaker 2: because you were East Coast. I'm Midwest. And if this
- 26:49Speaker 2: was out in California, I could see that, you know,
- 26:51Speaker 2: happening more out here. Where were you? Like whereabouts in California?
- 26:56Speaker 2: in the country are you or overseas?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:59Speaker 2: And did you, were you a rollerblader? Were you in
- 27:03Speaker 2: that club? Can you join the drama darling rollerbladers? You know?
- 27:07Speaker 3: Wow.
- 27:09Speaker 2: We'll get helmets.
- 27:11Speaker 3: But, but yes, that picture, I think I've been, you know,
- 27:16Speaker 3: when I see Dorit, old pics, there's so many old
- 27:19Speaker 3: versions of these housewives that.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a big one.
- 27:24Speaker 3: There's so many, you know, that you can't even find
- 27:27Speaker 3: the connective tissue. You know, you can't. No pun intended. No,
- 27:32Speaker 3: you really can't. It's a teardown and a new build.
- 27:37Speaker 3: You know, it's not. You were so right. So, all right.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Can we let's talk.
- 27:42Speaker 1: About a little more about Haley Glassman.
- 27:43Speaker 2: She's with Aaron. She lives in Hell's Kitchen. I mean, actually,
- 27:53Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Her pied-a-terre is in Hell's Kitchen. So she's
- 27:57Speaker 2: got in her cupboards, you know, $ 20, 000 worth of sunglasses.
- 28:01Speaker 2: They've got this whack-ass wine opener, which was driving me bonkers.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I was like, this shit's broke. Put your teeth on it.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I don't know what is going on. What is that?
- 28:14Speaker 3: They had no... Well, I feel like I have the
- 28:17Speaker 3: same basic-ass... wine opener. It's like the most, but you
- 28:20Speaker 3: get it at a bodega. Like it's just that basic wine. No,
- 28:22Speaker 3: but the top was off of it. They had, well,
- 28:25Speaker 3: I just thought they had no leverage.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Oh.
- 28:27Speaker 3: So they were coming from underneath it.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 28:30Speaker 3: They had to either bring the wine down or stand up.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Haley started to stand up and I was like, yes,
- 28:36Speaker 3: but then she was like, oh, I'm on camera. Like
- 28:39Speaker 3: they couldn't get leverage, you know?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Okay. Maybe it was the leverage thing. Certainly leverage thing,
- 28:45Speaker 2: but I actually thought that the part where you're supposed
- 28:48Speaker 2: to hold on to it on the top, once you
- 28:50Speaker 2: put the spiral in there, the screw part, once you
- 28:54Speaker 2: twist that in there, the handle you're holding on to,
- 28:58Speaker 2: that that handle was broken off of it.
- 29:01Speaker 3: It may have been.
- 29:02Speaker 2: But my God, if it's broke, it's not going to work.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Thank you. You're welcome. Suddenly, she's asking, can I buy this? Oh,
- 29:32Speaker 2: can you put this in the cart? And how much
- 29:35Speaker 2: does that cost? Well, I'm realizing these little conversations are
- 29:38Speaker 2: actually a really big deal. And I want her to
- 29:42Speaker 2: understand the value of saving, making smart choices, and that
- 29:46Speaker 2: money doesn't magically appear every time mom pulls out a card.
- 29:50Speaker 2: That's why I thought this was such an interesting idea
- 29:53Speaker 2: from Cash App. Cash App now offers managed accounts for
- 29:58Speaker 2: kids ages 6 to 12. that grow with them all

- 30:09Speaker 2: so you're not just watching from the sidelines. You're actually
- 30:12Speaker 2: in it with them. That's what makes it a real
- 30:14Speaker 2: teaching tool. Every time money comes in or goes out,
- 30:18Speaker 2: it's a chance to talk about it together. You set

- 30:42Speaker 2: their money grow. Whether it's birthday money from grandma, allowance
- 30:46Speaker 2: for finally cleaning up their room or feeding the cat,

- 30:56Speaker 2: Their savings, habits, and history carry forward every step of
- 30:59Speaker 2: the way, from a parent-managed account at 6 to a
- 31:02Speaker 2: teen account at 13, oh my gosh, teen, to a
- 31:05Speaker 2: full account at 18. I'm not ready for that yet.

- 32:31Speaker 2: Haley was high as a kite is like such a
- 32:34Speaker 2: fun reveal. I loved it. It is. We haven't really
- 32:37Speaker 2: had many high people on these shows before. It's about time.
- 32:39Speaker 3: It's not true. It is about time.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Yep.
- 32:42Speaker 3: They've all made such a fuss of it when they
- 32:44Speaker 3: are like not wanting to show their kids you're in Amsterdam. Like, guys,
- 32:48Speaker 3: just eat an edible, please, for the love of God.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Right. But now, you know, it's it's accepted. It's legal.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I mean, I should say it's legal and it's accepted.
- 32:58Speaker 2: And so now we're fine. Right.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Well, and it tracked. First of all, it is funny
- 33:04Speaker 3: also to have these new you know, a new housewife
- 33:07Speaker 3: is getting their their bearings. And she said that, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 3: Erin's not there 0.2 minutes and she's in tears, you know,
- 33:18Speaker 3: and to see a new housewife.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Erin's ready to film, baby. She's ready. Yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 3: She was like, I don't even know what's happening. Please
- 33:27Speaker 3: take your shoes off.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Oh, the shoes. I understood that. I'm like, yeah. Like
- 33:33Speaker 2: once you get fixated on something, no matter whatever that
- 33:36Speaker 2: person is doing, you cannot focus on anything else.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Right. And then she poured out two half bottles of,
- 33:44Speaker 3: I mean, it was a half bottle each in that glass,
- 33:46Speaker 3: which I was like, I respect that. And, and, you know,
- 33:49Speaker 3: that's one of the perks of living in the city.
- 33:51Speaker 3: You can get trash. Yeah, absolutely. Bop around.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Her mom being this, this woman who's so quirky. This
- 34:03Speaker 2: is a story that I think we'll have to dig
- 34:06Speaker 2: into as we get to know her, but That John
- 34:11Speaker 2: Gosselin was her mom's friend. And she was so committed
- 34:17Speaker 2: to pleasing her mother that she was dating him because
- 34:20Speaker 2: her mom wanted her to. And then after she was
- 34:23Speaker 2: just blasted in the press for being the mistress and
- 34:26Speaker 2: breaking up... What was the name? John and Kate. Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 2: John and Kate Gosselin. Breaking up John and Kate Gosselin.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Her mom... disappeared and.
- 34:38Speaker 3: She was like the hell she like did a duck
- 34:41Speaker 3: and roll she was like i'll see you in her.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Tap shoes yeah she just like hooked herself off the
- 34:48Speaker 2: stage in her taps.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Yeah it it didn't do like the it was listen
- 34:55Speaker 3: i think john is a nice guy um i don't
- 34:58Speaker 3: blame her for the suggestion but uh Certainly it sounds
- 35:06Speaker 3: like she was in the weeds. It was, they were
- 35:09Speaker 3: huge story back in the day that, you know, no bigger,
- 35:15Speaker 3: like truly they dominated for a good chunk of time.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Oh man. That haircut. Now, when you say John is
- 35:23Speaker 2: a nice guy, like what, what, what is your archive
- 35:27Speaker 2: for him? Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Okay. I think it's just in juxtaposition to her. And
- 35:33Speaker 3: I think she's a monster. And I think the kids
- 35:35Speaker 3: have now, as they're older, coming out against her.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Oh, man. Yeah.
- 35:39Speaker 3: That's what gives me that, you know?
- 35:40Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 35:42Speaker 3: So I think she's just rotted.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Yeah. She's rotted. So, yeah. Okay. So then Erin's crying
- 35:50Speaker 2: about having issues with her kids and with her daughter specifically.
- 35:54Speaker 2: And then Haley's like, every woman I've dated with kids
- 35:57Speaker 2: all have the same issues with their daughters, with their daughters.
- 36:00Speaker 2: And that's when we get like the big reveal and
- 36:04Speaker 2: the rest of the scene is just really pretty iconic.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I have to say.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I was very impressed. Again, low expectations, but I was
- 36:13Speaker 2: riveted and I always love being in New York City.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That's the thing. I've always loved watching New York, no
- 36:17Speaker 2: matter who's on it. I'm so bummed Jenna Lyons isn't
- 36:19Speaker 2: there anymore. It's okay. But it's okay.
- 36:24Speaker 3: You know why it's okay, Amy? Why? I had a
- 36:26Speaker 3: whole dream about Jenna Lyons last year. I like her too.
- 36:30Speaker 3: The problem is Jenna had one foot out the door
- 36:34Speaker 3: in a way that's pretty spectacular the whole time. You know,
- 36:38Speaker 3: it's like we have one foot out the door and
- 36:40Speaker 3: then we have one foot out the door. It was
- 36:43Speaker 3: such a calculated move for her. There was just such
- 36:46Speaker 3: a wall up. She's so high up on the food
- 36:50Speaker 3: chain in terms of corporate that That, you know, that
- 36:54Speaker 3: training is so deep. Like we were not going to
- 36:56Speaker 3: squeeze a lot of juice out of that lemon. And
- 36:59Speaker 3: so I, I'm okay to have what we had and
- 37:04Speaker 3: release her.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Okay.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Because I think, I think.
- 37:06Speaker 2: We weren't going to get anything.
- 37:08Speaker 3: It stresses the other girls out.
- 37:11Speaker 2: On a level. Oh God.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Right. And they would have roasted her this season. Because
- 37:17Speaker 2: if she wasn't going to be sharing anything more, they
- 37:20Speaker 2: would have not put up with it. And it would
- 37:22Speaker 2: have been like a takedown of her. And I wouldn't
- 37:24Speaker 2: want to see that.
- 37:25Speaker 3: And I don't think she liked it at all. And
- 37:27Speaker 3: I really, if you, it's not a fit. Thank you.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I'll see you. I'll see you somewhere else. You know?
- 37:34Speaker 2: Yeah. She really, I mean, she capitalized on every single
- 37:38Speaker 2: seed of that apple, though. I'll say that. It was
- 37:40Speaker 2: a smart business decision, but that's where it stopped for her.
- 37:44Speaker 2: It was- Like you said, it was one foot in
- 37:48Speaker 2: barely with that foot kind of dangling out as it was.
- 37:51Speaker 2: And it was like, I don't think she had any
- 37:53Speaker 2: intention of going back on once she got into that
- 37:55Speaker 2: serious relationship. And privacy became such an important part of
- 38:01Speaker 2: their lives, you know? I mean, I don't think she
- 38:03Speaker 2: was going to bring that relationship to the forefront. And
- 38:07Speaker 2: that's a bummer. Because it could have been another female
- 38:12Speaker 2: gay relationship that we could have seen and two very
- 38:16Speaker 2: successful women. But, you know, what are you going to do?
- 38:19Speaker 2: They're probably very stable people. And, you know, they don't
- 38:24Speaker 2: want to air their dirty laundry. And I can't blame
- 38:26Speaker 2: them for that. But she sure did milk a lot
- 38:30Speaker 2: from the street sale of her clothes, you know, from
- 38:34Speaker 2: the stoop sale that she had. All the way to
- 38:37Speaker 2: like the lash line to everything. And she just took
- 38:40Speaker 2: it and ran. And I'm kind of like, part of
- 38:42Speaker 2: me thinks that if she really wanted to make more money,
- 38:45Speaker 2: she probably should have stayed two seasons. But, you know.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Well, she is a partner at a very controversial firm
- 38:54Speaker 3: right now.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Okay. What did you find, Deanna?
- 38:57Speaker 3: Okay. So, you know, Blackstone is very controversial. To get
- 39:02Speaker 3: to that information based on my Googling right now, I
- 39:06Speaker 3: had to go in and out. So you're not going
- 39:10Speaker 3: to see that pop up as a bit of info
- 39:14Speaker 3: on Jenna Lyons. But what you will see is that
- 39:17Speaker 3: before joining Cashmere Fund, Jenna Lyons was a partner at
- 39:21Speaker 3: something called Fundamental Co., a value creation agency and brand
- 39:26Speaker 3: consulting that was spun out of, so Fundamental Co. was
- 39:30Speaker 3: spun out of the major private equity firm, Blackstone.
- 39:34Speaker 2: So she's consulting with them on a business level. Right. Oh, wow. Interesting.
- 39:41Speaker 3: And it's real tucked in there. Yeah.
- 39:43Speaker 2: So she's probably making a lot of money, which she
- 39:46Speaker 2: doesn't need the housewives anymore. No. No. Well, I'm going
- 39:50Speaker 2: to release Jenna and say that this season so far
- 39:54Speaker 2: is looking good. Cy, I mean, this is a shocker.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I know that we saw it in the headlines that
- 40:02Speaker 2: her relationship and her marriage was in trouble. I remember
- 40:05Speaker 2: hearing about this, but wow, this was interesting. Jessel comes
- 40:11Speaker 2: over to Cy's house and Jessel brings a regifted pine candle,
- 40:16Speaker 2: which I appreciated Cy acknowledging like, Oh, this is pine.
- 40:20Speaker 2: So this must be from the holidays.
- 40:22Speaker 3: I enjoyed that she drilled down hard on it. She
- 40:27Speaker 3: was like, definitely. So I was like, yeah, it's absolutely
- 40:31Speaker 3: a re-gift.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, Sai's going to know a product when
- 40:34Speaker 2: it comes into her house, right? I mean, that's what
- 40:37Speaker 2: she does. So I forgot that they lived in Brooklyn.
- 40:40Speaker 2: So now they moved to Manhattan and they bought this
- 40:43Speaker 2: new apartment. But I'm wondering if the husband's even there
- 40:46Speaker 2: at all. Like she asked for a separation, obviously. So
- 40:49Speaker 2: at this point, he's probably not even there, I would imagine.
- 40:52Speaker 3: These mans, there's a strain that is just not working.
- 40:58Speaker 3: I don't know what to say. You know, it's got
- 41:00Speaker 3: to get out there.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Well, you know what, Deanna? It makes me really think about,
- 41:06Speaker 2: you know, when we meet these housewives for the first time,
- 41:09Speaker 2: how many lies they're coming in with, you know, and it's,
- 41:13Speaker 2: it's disappointing for sure. However, it does make for a
- 41:16Speaker 2: great unfolding of things. If things start to, you know,
- 41:19Speaker 2: when the shit hits the fan, but it's like, you're
- 41:22Speaker 2: coming onto a show with skeletons in your closet. You
- 41:24Speaker 2: already know you're doing it out of the disparity of
- 41:27Speaker 2: knowing that we all know your marriage is going to
- 41:30Speaker 2: end and you want to make money. So like what
- 41:33Speaker 2: a perfect time in your life. to get on this show.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And that's pretty much what I realized happened. And her
- 41:41Speaker 2: acknowledging that she was living a lie is very interesting.
- 41:44Speaker 2: And it's kind of like, that's the kind of shit
- 41:46Speaker 2: that we don't like, you know? That's why when you're
- 41:50Speaker 2: on the show and you're yelling at Jessa like, you
- 41:52Speaker 2: don't have a good marriage. He's overseas. He's getting happy endings.
- 41:58Speaker 2: You know, she's yelling at her when really, you know,
- 42:03Speaker 2: look inside the house, right?
- 42:05Speaker 1: So.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Yeah, twist, plot twist, as it were. And really interesting
- 42:10Speaker 2: that Jessalyn and Cy are like good friends now. I
- 42:13Speaker 2: do like that. I always love when that happens.
- 42:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's important on these shows to have a switch up.
- 42:19Speaker 3: And Amy, have we been, how long has it been
- 42:24Speaker 3: since we've watched Roni?
- 42:25Speaker 2: Okay, so when I opened up my notes, the last
- 42:28Speaker 2: document was saved February 2025. So that would have been
- 42:33Speaker 2: like the, yeah, so it's been over a year and
- 42:34Speaker 2: a half. OK.
- 42:36Speaker 3: And, you know, the other thing that I will give
- 42:38Speaker 3: a little room to is like people do wait to
- 42:41Speaker 3: see change. And I think like he may have sold
- 42:44Speaker 3: the company, had a little money and she thought he
- 42:47Speaker 3: was going to pivot into something else.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:51Speaker 3: And that just never took place, you know. And so. Yeah. Yeah.
- 42:58Speaker 2: On Patreon, Dani Akari says, I enjoyed this episode and
- 43:02Speaker 2: I'm hopeful for the season. Psy and Jessel seem a
- 43:04Speaker 2: lot more open and honest. I see red flags in
- 43:07Speaker 2: Jessel's marriage. Seems like she'll be the next one to separate.
- 43:10Speaker 2: I love the new girls, the real history and connection
- 43:12Speaker 2: between Psy and Daisy. Daisy and Haley seem quirky and funny.
- 43:17Speaker 2: We need humor in this franchise. Yeah, we definitely do. Yes,
- 43:20Speaker 2: great point. I know we're kind of bouncing around, but
- 43:23Speaker 2: I forgot about the Daisy and Psy connection.
- 43:27Speaker 3: I'll never forget about it.
- 43:28Speaker 2: Scores.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Scores.
- 43:30Speaker 2: No.
- 43:37Speaker 3: That is, you know, I can totally see Psy bartending,
- 43:45Speaker 3: bitch face, making her money every night. You know, that's
- 43:48Speaker 3: one thing. But to be steeped in scores.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Which is like the left turn. She never
- 43:56Speaker 2: even told us about that. Did she? You know, she
- 43:59Speaker 2: she did say she bartended at a strip club. Maybe
- 44:01Speaker 2: she did say that.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Scores is so like where Howard Stern and co used
- 44:08Speaker 3: to go. I mean, I Ronnie the limo driver. I
- 44:11Speaker 3: know that. what's his name? I feel like I've heard
- 44:14Speaker 3: the name of the owner a million times through the
- 44:18Speaker 3: Howard Stern show.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Oh, and Danielle Staub. She like, wasn't she like, I
- 44:22Speaker 2: used to strip at scores, right?
- 44:24Speaker 3: I swear she did.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Remember when she got up on that pole when
- 44:28Speaker 2: they went to the pole dancing class?
- 44:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:32Speaker 2: It's impressive.
- 44:34Speaker 3: It's such a world and you have to be built
- 44:37Speaker 3: some kind of way to navigate man's at scores like
- 44:41Speaker 3: i just especially at that time when oh yeah you
- 44:47Speaker 3: know that is just new york city wow i mean.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Wow at its dirtiest point and we're talking dirty dirty
- 44:59Speaker 2: ass money we're talking cocaine we're talking drugs alcohol all
- 45:05Speaker 2: hours of the night the amount of men that that
- 45:09Speaker 2: that teamed in from the suburbs after listening to Howard
- 45:13Speaker 2: Stern to go there. Had to have been out of town. Lonnie.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Lonnie is the guy who runs scores and he would
- 45:21Speaker 3: come on the show and Lonnie and yeah, I mean,
- 45:24Speaker 3: you know, it's like, it's just so much. But to
- 45:31Speaker 3: be able to not blow up. And I believe Yeah, Martha,
- 45:37Speaker 3: hold on. Let me just get this out.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Sorry, wig camp popped up. We can't, I don't control it.
- 45:42Speaker 2: She comes up when she comes up.
- 45:43Speaker 3: She's judging and that's fine. But I do believe that
- 45:47Speaker 3: Psy was able to save them monies, not blow it
- 45:54Speaker 3: on drugs, not go down a bad road, use it
- 45:58Speaker 3: and build a beautiful life with it. Like hats off,
- 46:02Speaker 3: you know, hats off.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Psy, you know, a lot of people are not here
- 46:09Speaker 2: for Psy like before. They have not been a fan
- 46:12Speaker 2: of hers, right? I, I don't know. I, I like
- 46:17Speaker 2: her grit. She seems like somebody that I would be
- 46:20Speaker 2: friends with. Like if I met her, I feel like
- 46:23Speaker 2: I would, we're very different, you know? And I feel
- 46:26Speaker 2: like we, and I, and I kind of, I just
- 46:29Speaker 2: feel like we would have a good vibe. I, I like,
- 46:33Speaker 2: that when she's real, when she's real, she's real. And
- 46:36Speaker 2: I did love when she was yelling at Jessel for
- 46:39Speaker 2: being fake and phony. Like, stop talking about all this extra,
- 46:42Speaker 2: you know, curricular stuff and this peripheral things. Like, we
- 46:45Speaker 2: want to get to know you. I love that part
- 46:47Speaker 2: of her. What's crazy is that she was the one
- 46:50Speaker 2: that was hiding a lot of stuff, you know, obviously.
- 46:52Speaker 2: But like, I mean, I'm sure they all do. But
- 46:55Speaker 2: it's nice to see her come out the other side
- 46:57Speaker 2: saying like, I'm embarrassed. I apologize to you for poking
- 47:01Speaker 2: fun of you and for judging your marriage. And, um,
- 47:05Speaker 2: and that she says, she's like, I was living a lie,
- 47:08Speaker 2: but her doing all that work, you know, doesn't surprise
- 47:13Speaker 2: me that she ended up with someone where she did
- 47:17Speaker 2: all that because she's so used to taking care of herself.
- 47:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:20Speaker 2: And when you're so used to taking care of yourself,
- 47:22Speaker 2: like she, remember her mom kind of like abandoned her.
- 47:24Speaker 2: She had a lot of issues with her mom. That
- 47:26Speaker 2: was really intense. And her mom died.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Homeless for all intents and purposes, you know?
- 47:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Bad.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Drugs.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Really bad.
- 47:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:36Speaker 2: So she always had to be the person that was
- 47:38Speaker 2: like in control of her life to the point where
- 47:43Speaker 2: she was not going to take any prisoners and she
- 47:46Speaker 2: was not going to go down a bad road. So
- 47:48Speaker 2: to get, you know, getting a husband that looked, I
- 47:53Speaker 2: don't know, on paper, like stable and secure was there
- 47:57Speaker 2: for her. And at every turn, so she could be successful,
- 48:02Speaker 2: makes so much sense to me because she's always been
- 48:05Speaker 2: on her own. So if he's really not working, but
- 48:07Speaker 2: he has her back and he's supporting her, I could
- 48:09Speaker 2: see why she would stay and kind of hope. But
- 48:13Speaker 2: it sounds like it was a disappointing situation for her.
- 48:16Speaker 3: I think the other thing is that she probably really
- 48:20Speaker 3: did need him in the position he was in when
- 48:22Speaker 3: they had really little kids because he was able to
- 48:27Speaker 3: you know, be home and do all that. Now that
- 48:29Speaker 3: they're older and it's a different, like that I think is,
- 48:33Speaker 3: and you're, wait, I'm doing, okay, I'm doing everything. You know,
- 48:38Speaker 3: I'm running the whole ship here.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Why?
- 48:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:44Speaker 2: I'm realizing this now, like, and now you're not working.
- 48:48Speaker 2: So can you start, like, as your lives evolve into different,
- 48:52Speaker 2: you know, stages.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Chapters. Yeah.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Right. You have to adapt.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 2: So, I mean, it's tough. I don't know if they're
- 49:02Speaker 2: divorced yet or if she's filed for divorce, but I
- 49:05Speaker 2: think it's just at this point, like they're estranged maybe.
- 49:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 49:09Speaker 2: So we'll see what happens there.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah. They're certainly done. I mean, when you're coming on
- 49:15Speaker 3: the television in this way, it's done.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:19Speaker 2: I thought Jessel kind of fake faking finding out was
- 49:24Speaker 2: pretty good. Like she did seem I mean, she obviously knew. Right.
- 49:28Speaker 2: She seemed to know.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I don't think I believe that she didn't know they
- 49:33Speaker 3: were separated.
- 49:34Speaker 2: The separation part.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I agree. I think that she knew everything, but
- 49:37Speaker 2: she didn't know that she asked for a separation, right?
- 49:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Do you like Jessel?
- 49:42Speaker 3: I loved her at times. Now, I got some bad
- 49:46Speaker 3: intel on Jessel.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Oh, dear. Yeah.
- 49:50Speaker 3: That she was a complete bitch at BravoCon, like walked
- 49:54Speaker 3: in like she owned the joint, did not say hello
- 49:56Speaker 3: to anyone.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:58Speaker 3: Was a total bitch to like her elders.
- 50:00Speaker 2: I don't know if you told me that or if
- 50:03Speaker 2: I feel like we've heard it in the universe of Bravo.
- 50:06Speaker 2: But yeah.
- 50:07Speaker 3: I have a direct source.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Oh.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Yeah. It's not. Yeah. It's direct.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 50:13Speaker 2: What was there for it. Wow. Yeah.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Then you did tell me that. I didn't hear it
- 50:17Speaker 2: from other people. It was you.
- 50:18Speaker 3: It was actually, it might've been ultimate girls trip.
- 50:22Speaker 2: That might've been it.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Not Bravo cons.
- 50:25Speaker 2: OK, well, speaking of ultimate girls trip, like, first of all,
- 50:28Speaker 2: we go to the the Lunar New Year, Jessel's Lunar
- 50:33Speaker 2: New Year party, which I absolutely loved. I loved seeing
- 50:38Speaker 2: them come down the Chinatown streets with the lanterns in
- 50:42Speaker 2: the back, the red, the black coming down those stairs.
- 50:44Speaker 3: You know, that's where I got married.
- 50:46Speaker 2: In Chinatown? Yes, I do.
- 50:48Speaker 3: In Chinatown. And we walked down that block with all
- 50:50Speaker 3: the lanterns.
- 50:50Speaker 2: Oh, that's the same block? That's the same block? Yeah.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Kind of like an alley, sort of, in a way? Yeah. Oh,
- 50:56Speaker 2: I didn't know that was the same place.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:58Speaker 2: That's so cool.
- 51:00Speaker 3: I know. It's cool. It is cool. It was cool.
- 51:03Speaker 3: It was amazing.
- 51:04Speaker 2: Do you, by any chance, know where they were? No. Okay.
- 51:09Speaker 2: But I've heard the branding. I don't remember seeing a name.
- 51:13Speaker 2: That was weird.
- 51:14Speaker 3: I know at one point I'm like, wait, is this
- 51:16Speaker 3: from the first season where, sorry, not the first season,
- 51:20Speaker 3: but season three of Roni where that fire happened at
- 51:28Speaker 3: the opium den? I was like, are we back at
- 51:31Speaker 3: the opium den? What was my first question? But I
- 51:34Speaker 3: don't think we were. Yeah.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Wow. Oh, you know what? You know why I know
- 51:39Speaker 2: that you know that? is because you recently watched that
- 51:43Speaker 2: season of Roni, and you recapped it for Garbage World, right?
- 51:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:50Speaker 2: And that's the opium den, old opium den, that I
- 51:53Speaker 2: watched that episode to recap with you, where Lou went
- 51:56Speaker 2: there on her date, and she was like, these are
- 51:59Speaker 2: the beds, this coffee table's the bed for where they
- 52:02Speaker 2: used to do opium? No. But also, million-dollar listing, New York,
- 52:08Speaker 2: I remember Ryan Serhant saying, Was like in an apartment
- 52:13Speaker 2: and he was like, this is an opium den coffee table.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Like it was, they use it as a coffee table.
- 52:20Speaker 2: What it used to be an opium den bed. And
- 52:23Speaker 2: it's like.
- 52:23Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 52:24Speaker 2: You know what I'm talking about?
- 52:25Speaker 3: It's all coming.
- 52:25Speaker 2: It all leads back to Bravo.
- 52:27Speaker 3: It all leads back.
- 52:28Speaker 2: All roads. But it does look a lot like that.
- 52:31Speaker 2: I mean, who knows? They could have. Who knows?
- 52:33Speaker 3: It could be a rebrand of that.
- 52:35Speaker 2: And, you know.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Yeah. Restaurants come and go. I mean, but I don't
- 52:38Speaker 3: think so. But it was cool.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it was really cool. And so we find out
- 52:44Speaker 2: that like apparently, you know, Aaron and Jessel really tussle. Tussle.
- 52:49Speaker 2: There was a tussle between Jessel and Aaron. Jessel loves
- 52:51Speaker 2: a tussle. And it was like Jessel goes up to
- 52:56Speaker 2: Aaron is like, people are telling me that you're on
- 53:00Speaker 2: a smear campaign about me. on Ultimate Girls Trip. And
- 53:04Speaker 2: then we find out, I mean, Erin's like, well, no,
- 53:07Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not talking about you. I'm not talking
- 53:08Speaker 2: about you at all. And then the second that Jessel
- 53:12Speaker 2: says the exact words that Erin said, she's like, oh,
- 53:15Speaker 2: I said that. Right on that.
- 53:16Speaker 3: I said it and I mean it and I don't
- 53:18Speaker 3: like you. Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Sad one.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I did. And then we get Chanel Ayan's voice message
- 53:27Speaker 2: full on, straight up, played on the premiere of And
- 53:32Speaker 2: I'm like, this gal is angling for a ripe spot here.
- 53:36Speaker 2: And please bring her on. You know, hopefully this is
- 53:40Speaker 2: a foreshadowing of what will be. But at the very end,
- 53:44Speaker 2: when Jessel is mouthing, like lip syncing to her voice message,
- 53:48Speaker 2: just pay attention to that bitch. It was gold.
- 53:53Speaker 3: It was good. And having Chantal just standing there in her,
- 54:00Speaker 3: you know, they did a mock-up of her, right, by
- 54:03Speaker 3: the text. Right.
- 54:05Speaker 2: In her gold gown.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Chanel, I'm sorry. Chanel Ayan. I don't ever say it separately,
- 54:10Speaker 3: you know?
- 54:12Speaker 2: It's either Chanel or Ayan. Yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Chanel was in... Yeah, so you might be right. That
- 54:19Speaker 3: may be a good foreshadow.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Probably is, because I know Chanel's been all over Hell's
- 54:25Speaker 2: Half Acre with these housewives. I mean.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Yes, she has.
- 54:29Speaker 2: She's kind of like.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Galena from McBee Dynasty, how she's doing a tour of
- 54:37Speaker 2: all the Bravo shows and getting to know all the
- 54:40Speaker 2: housewives because it's just an exciting world to be in.
- 54:44Speaker 2: And Chanel's no dummy. And she was such a star
- 54:48Speaker 2: on Dubai.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 54:50Speaker 2: So she spends a lot of time in New York,
- 54:52Speaker 2: you know?
- 54:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:53Speaker 2: I'm open. I'm open.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Wide open for that.
- 54:58Speaker 2: So anyway, they're having a tussle. And now, like, Aaron's like,
- 55:04Speaker 2: how do you know enough? How do you know about Jessel?
- 55:07Speaker 2: And Jessel's like, she knows more about me than you do.
- 55:11Speaker 2: And Sai's like, yeah, I do. I know a lot
- 55:15Speaker 2: about her. I like her, kind of. It's new. And
- 55:20Speaker 2: Aaron's like, since when? When?
- 55:22Speaker 3: So.
- 55:25Speaker 2: That was a fun reveal that alliances are changing and
- 55:29Speaker 2: Psy is now pissed off at Erin because she's heard
- 55:32Speaker 2: that she's talking shit.
- 55:33Speaker 3: Well, Erin will always talk shit. That Erin is the
- 55:37Speaker 3: girl in the bunk at camp who lives to just,
- 55:41Speaker 3: she will never hold your secrets. She always takes the
- 55:45Speaker 3: tea and runs it. She thinks, she genuinely in her heart,
- 55:50Speaker 3: in her heart of hearts, believes that That if you're
- 55:54Speaker 3: annoyed with a friend, you talk shit about them. Like
- 55:56Speaker 3: that's the way of.
- 55:57Speaker 2: The world, you know? And if they find out, they
- 56:00Speaker 2: find out. But if they don't find out, you can
- 56:03Speaker 2: deny it all day long until they have the actual
- 56:06Speaker 2: dialogue of what you said and then you have to
- 56:07Speaker 2: own it.
- 56:08Speaker 3: And then you have to get mad at them for
- 56:10Speaker 3: not calling you up to discuss it. It's like, well,
- 56:13Speaker 3: you can also just not do it, you know?
- 56:16Speaker 1: Right.
- 56:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. She changes the story. She's like, I
- 56:19Speaker 2: didn't say anything. Oh, I did say that. You did
- 56:22Speaker 2: say it. Well, you should have called me. Everything was
- 56:24Speaker 2: just complete defense.
- 56:25Speaker 3: What kind of friend are you? Defense.
- 56:26Speaker 2: Defense. Defense.
- 56:28Speaker 3: Here's the thing about Erin though. Yeah. I can't take,
- 56:31Speaker 3: and it's been the same way since the beginning. I
- 56:34Speaker 3: can't take my eyes off her. Oh, I love it.
- 56:36Speaker 2: I love her. I love her. And you know what?
- 56:38Speaker 2: I love that she's friends with Lindsay from Summer House.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Like they're besties. Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 3: I didn't know that. Yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Or I should say Lindsay of In the City.
- 56:48Speaker 3: Wow. That's, yeah. That feels right, you know. But I
- 56:53Speaker 3: do think that, like, Jessel, even in this episode, I
- 56:57Speaker 3: liked her so much. I hated her speech. I thought
- 56:59Speaker 3: her speech was weak and lame, clunky.
- 57:04Speaker 2: But not the time and place. And to be like,
- 57:09Speaker 2: and I don't care if you talk about me, people
- 57:11Speaker 2: that are here, some people whose names begin with E.
- 57:16Speaker 2: It's like, girl, no.
- 57:20Speaker 3: It was so produced and so unnecessary.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:25Speaker 2: And the kicking out was cheap.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Very cheap. You're kicking Erin, who weighs one buck, out
- 57:31Speaker 3: of the... It's just dumb.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Also, there's no kerfuffle, you know? Right.
- 57:36Speaker 3: She doesn't need to be removed from the premises.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Right. And then what's going to happen? Boring party, you know? Right. Totally.
- 57:43Speaker 3: It was lame. You know, that was... But we'll see.
- 57:47Speaker 3: I'm excited. I mean, I'm ready for the new girls.
- 57:50Speaker 3: They gave me a lift.
- 57:51Speaker 2: They did. I loved when Aaron, I'm sorry. I loved
- 57:54Speaker 2: when Jessel and Cy were kind of talking to Haley
- 57:58Speaker 2: about like trying to figure out what Aaron has told
- 58:02Speaker 2: her that she shouldn't have. And Haley was just bewitched,
- 58:08Speaker 2: bothered and bewildered. You know, like her, her eyes are
- 58:11Speaker 2: crossed and they are just, I don't know. I don't remember.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Also the where did she hear it from she heard
- 58:21Speaker 3: it from the season you were on Jessal like we
- 58:24Speaker 3: all know you've been through IVF stop it it's.
- 58:26Speaker 2: A that pissed me off actually yeah like what went
- 58:30Speaker 2: through my head was Haley is probably thinking do I
- 58:33Speaker 2: say I watched this show no that's what she was
- 58:36Speaker 2: going through okay that is what she was going through
- 58:42Speaker 2: yeah okay Um, and then I just want to land
- 58:46Speaker 2: on the real, real with Daisy and Cy. I know
- 58:49Speaker 2: we talked about Daisy taking off her top and, um,
- 58:52Speaker 2: Cy being like, that's how she rolls. Sorry if you're uncomfortable. But, um,
- 58:58Speaker 2: the sale, the, oh my God, that jacket selling online
- 59:02Speaker 2: at the very moment when she wanted to buy it
- 59:04Speaker 2: made me actually laugh out loud because of that salesperson
- 59:09Speaker 2: was like, yeah.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:12Speaker 2: No. Yeah. And then he just like pulls it from her.
- 59:17Speaker 2: Just pulls it out of her hands. It's so funny.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I really felt the pain for her because she really
- 59:26Speaker 2: wanted that jacket. She loved it.
- 59:28Speaker 3: She loved it.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:32Speaker 2: I mean, I have to give it to Roni. I'm
- 59:36Speaker 2: going to give it four stars as a premiere, you know,
- 59:39Speaker 2: from where they were to where they are. I'm excited
- 59:43Speaker 2: for the season.
- 59:44Speaker 3: We've lightened the load. The only people that were doing schtick.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Really?
- 59:49Speaker 3: Oh, well, except for like taking off the shirt, but
- 59:52Speaker 3: even like the rollerblading and all that, like I was,
- 59:54Speaker 3: I bought into it, you know? So if these old
- 59:57Speaker 3: ones can mind their P's and Q's, I think we
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: have ourselves a season.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: I do. I do too. I'll leave it with one
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: last quote from Radonna over on Patreon, who's a darling.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I found it to be a good episode. I went
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: in with no expectations so that I Wouldn't be really disappointed.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Love seeing Martha Stewart. This might just be me. Why
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: do some of these women not wear their jackets like
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: a regular person? They just throw it over their shoulders.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: Just wear shawl. By the way, did you notice when
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Erin did leave the lunar party that Jessel's like, and
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: what's up with that jacket?
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: It was like a puffer. It didn't make sense, you know?
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: So I did feel the same. I had the same question.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: You know, I wouldn't have noticed it hadn't she said
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: that under a breath. And then I thought, huh, yeah,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: she wore a white puffer over. So I judged. Yeah,
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: I did too. Okay. Well, Deanna, can you tell everybody
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: where they can find you, please?
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Oh. Yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Hey, why.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Don't you go ahead and find me? You know what?
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: Make it simple. March yourself over to Instagram. March. It's
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: part of the Meta platform who is going to owe
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: $ 8 billion out in the next 10 years because of
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: their regulations. Do you know that, Amy?
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: No, I did not know that.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Oh, so Meta, many of the states of the United
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: States have sued Meta.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: For making Instagram and Facebook, which falls under that umbrella,
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: addictive to children. And they have to spend, it's $ 13
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: billion all in over the next 10 years. $ 5 billion
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: of that is if they can get TikTok and what
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: other platform? Not Twitter. TikTok and... Threads.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Snapchat. Maybe Snapchat. MySpace.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Yeah, Friendster. What is it? It's TikTok and it's not Instagram.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I mean, it's not. We have Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. What
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: else do we freaking have? Anywho. Yeah. Anyway, so two
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: other social platforms have to be rolled in. Yes.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: YouTube. Okay. YouTube.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: So if they can... influence YouTube and TikTok, then they
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: have the privilege of spending the other $ 5 billion out
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: because what that will do is even out the game.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: So right now, Facebook and Instagram are freaking out because
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: they have these regulations now. There's a list of regulations
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: that they have to abide by for any younger person
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: getting on the platform.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: That's great.
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: Two hour limits, no notifications at night. You can opt
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: in to no algorithm specifications. So you're not getting fed
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: all the same information.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: There's a bunch.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: That's amazing. And it's really great.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: YouTube needs to do that.
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: So far, no word from those two, but they are
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: probably going to... TikTok seems to be really like dragging ass,
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: but I think that The Surgeon Generals are going to
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: come after them, too. There's no doubt. And they're not
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: going to want to be hit with that astronomical find.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: So I think they're going to find their way.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: So if you could find me on Instagram at Deanna M. Chang.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Thank you for that. Deanna M. Chang. She has the information.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: She's going to give it.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: If she has it, you know, she's going to give it.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: You give it and I take it. Thank you so much. Thanks, DeeDee.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: Love you guys.
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: Bye, guys. Bye, darlings.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Bye. Cut it.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Cut it.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Cut, cut. Cut it. It's crazy.
