- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice. Sure, welcome to the Dan Night Show. I'm your house.
- 0:17Speaker 1: So it's Friday, which means our dear friend Cory Andrew
- 0:20Speaker 1: joins us. Hey, Corey, are you there?
- 0:22Speaker 2: I am here. Happy Friday, everyone.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Happy Friday. Another week. I love a Friday. I'm nearly done,
- 0:28Speaker 1: so I have like a couple of hours of work
- 0:30Speaker 1: to do and then I'm done for the day. I'll
- 0:31Speaker 1: be done by now, and lucky duck, I'm gonna get
- 0:35Speaker 1: myself a Marga Reta and a good book I think
- 0:38Speaker 1: for the rest of the day. Okay, let's jump into
- 0:40Speaker 1: the show. We've got a ton of gossip to get
- 0:42Speaker 1: to you. What time is it? My friends rules to
- 0:44Speaker 1: your time? So a big story at the top of
- 0:47Speaker 1: the show that I can take a little credit for.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Sutton Foster has split with her husband after her secret
- 0:54Speaker 1: romance with Hugh Jackman explode. So a year ago, I
- 0:59Speaker 1: was the first reporter to write that Sutton and Hugh
- 1:03Speaker 1: had got very friendly during their time on Broadway together.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Shortly after my report, Hugh and his wife broke up,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and now nine ten months later, Sutton and her husband
- 1:16Speaker 1: of ten years, he's a screenwriter called Ted Griffin, have
- 1:20Speaker 1: called it quits. So this development comes after we told
- 1:24Speaker 1: you first that they grew very very close on Broadway,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and Insider said they have been inseparable. Everyone in the
- 1:31Speaker 1: theater world has seen their chemistry up close and personal.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
- 1:39Speaker 1: They went on to say that she was quite surprised
- 1:42Speaker 1: by this. Sutton was very excited to work with Hugh Jackman.
- 1:46Speaker 1: She's so talented, she's so brilliant. She was excited to
- 1:49Speaker 1: be on stage with Hugh Jackman. But she never won
- 1:51Speaker 1: second thought that they would fall in love. This is
- 1:55Speaker 1: a complicated one for me because I feel terribly here
- 1:59Speaker 1: for Deborah, his wife of twenty seven years. I've known
- 2:02Speaker 1: her quite a while. She's a really, really good person.
- 2:06Speaker 1: And so one day she's going to rehearsals with her
- 2:09Speaker 1: husband for this new Broadway revival of The Music Man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and then the next day he's hooking up with the
- 2:15Speaker 1: leading lady. And I hate seeing relationships. And another friend
- 2:19Speaker 1: of mine, though, did point out that you can't deny
- 2:24Speaker 1: love and if you fall in love, I can see
- 2:27Speaker 1: your roll in your ass. If you fall in love
- 2:30Speaker 1: and they have been together, now this is not just
- 2:31Speaker 1: the show mance. The show has been gone for a
- 2:33Speaker 1: year and they're still dating, so they are still together.
- 2:37Speaker 1: If they do end up getting together officially, they're together,
- 2:41Speaker 1: trust me. But if they get together officially, I hope
- 2:43Speaker 1: it lasts. I hope he doesn't blow up or Q
- 2:46Speaker 1: hasn't blown up his whole life for a fleet.
- 2:49Speaker 2: For a Yes, well, you raise a great point about that,
- 2:51Speaker 2: because very often people get excited when they're working together.
- 2:54Speaker 2: It's something new, it's something fresh, and the mistake is
- 2:57Speaker 2: off and made that people confuse that for love. They
- 3:00Speaker 2: confuse that for something that they would go ruin their
- 3:03Speaker 2: marriage for or wreck their homes for. So what I
- 3:06Speaker 2: would say to that is if the marriage was already
- 3:09Speaker 2: in jeopardy, if they were already emotionally drifting in part,
- 3:13Speaker 2: that is where you're susceptible to this. But if you're
- 3:16Speaker 2: in love with someone, you can go to work every day.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I mean the rest of us go to work every
- 3:20Speaker 2: day and come home without having a relationship with someone
- 3:24Speaker 2: you know or or leaving our husbands. Right, So they're
- 3:26Speaker 2: at work, it's a work relationship. So I think there's
- 3:28Speaker 2: probably trouble in paradise beforehand, and this allows it to
- 3:34Speaker 2: open up if there's already a vulnerability.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I get it. I get what you're saying. I wouldn't
- 3:38Speaker 1: allow it to happen. It just would never get to
- 3:40Speaker 1: that point with me. If I was in a job
- 3:43Speaker 1: and somebody was flirting with me for the first ten minutes,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I think, oh, it'd be funny, it's flattering. Flattering, that's
- 3:48Speaker 1: the right word. It'd be really flattering. But it would
- 3:51Speaker 1: never get past that point with me. Just I would
- 3:55Speaker 1: never allow my mind to drift to that point. But
- 3:58Speaker 1: maybe that's because I'm happy in my life marriage she wasn't.
- 4:02Speaker 1: So sometimes I wish, though, that when you're not happy
- 4:05Speaker 1: in your marriage, I wish that you took a break,
- 4:09Speaker 1: didn't date anybody else, But just take a moment to
- 4:12Speaker 1: figure that out. Because if you if you replace the
- 4:15Speaker 1: person so quickly, is it really love or is it
- 4:20Speaker 1: just moving on? Is it rebound? Is it a rebound?
- 4:25Speaker 1: I like Sutton, and I'm sad too. I don't know
- 4:28Speaker 1: her husband, but I'm sad a ten year marriage has ended.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It's amazing that when couples, when married people choose to cheat,
- 4:38Speaker 1: they blow up two different worlds, not just their own world,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but also the world of the person they're cheating with.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's a major, major responsibility, one that I could not handle. Corey,
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's not for me.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Well, look at the situation with Angelina and Brad pitt Aniston.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I mean it's a very similar thing where you had.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I think Brad just got enamored with He's working with
- 5:02Speaker 2: one of the most beautiful women in the world physically,
- 5:06Speaker 2: and he was like, you know what, I'm going to
- 5:08Speaker 2: risk it all and he did. But I don't want
- 5:11Speaker 2: to be an advocate for I'm not being an advocate
- 5:13Speaker 2: for having adulterous affairs. But my point is you don't
- 5:16Speaker 2: have to wreck your home if you have a wandering eye.
- 5:20Speaker 2: That's all I'm gonna say.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Nice what you're saying. I'm just saying what you're saying.
- 5:23Speaker 1: But I think the problem is here is it wasn't
- 5:25Speaker 1: just the wondering. I I think we fell in love.
- 5:28Speaker 1: My sources are telling me that Sutton is in love
- 5:31Speaker 1: and Hugh is in love and this is worth blowing up,
- 5:36Speaker 1: blowing up both of their lives. There's children involved as well. Oh,
- 5:40Speaker 1: it is complicated, isn't it, Which brings us to our
- 5:42Speaker 1: whole question of the day. Sutton Foster has split from
- 5:46Speaker 1: her husband after her secret romance with Hugh Shackman has
- 5:51Speaker 1: been exposed. Our questions quite an interesting one. I want
- 5:55Speaker 1: you to think about this. Did Blake and Ryan know
- 5:58Speaker 1: about the affair? Do you think he's best friends with
- 6:02Speaker 1: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds? He's just finished a movie
- 6:06Speaker 1: with Ryan, Ryan and Blake new debb the wife. They've
- 6:10Speaker 1: been out together as a foursome and so when deb
- 6:13Speaker 1: stopped coming for dinner? Did Sutton come over to the apartment?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Did she introduce them to Sutton? Do they know? You
- 6:21Speaker 1: do tell your friend your secrets? So what do you
- 6:24Speaker 1: think did Ryan Reynolds Reynolds know about the affair? Go
- 6:34Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page. I'd noughty Nise rob her
- 6:36Speaker 1: Facebook page with some Lordy Today's Nordy does it? And
- 6:39Speaker 1: be she there to check back on Monday to hear
- 6:42Speaker 1: your results. Hey, Corey Love, what are you working on? Well?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yes, in another celebrity story, of course, but more somber,
- 6:49Speaker 2: I would say is emotional. The story here is Rosie
- 6:53Speaker 2: o'donnald breaking her silence on TikTok after her daughter Chelsea's
- 6:57Speaker 2: neglect of children of children. She got arrested for that,
- 7:01Speaker 2: and you know, Rosie's now on TikTok talking about it
- 7:05Speaker 2: and pretty emotional video, you know, pretty emotional where she
- 7:08Speaker 2: said it's hard to be a public person sometime, but
- 7:11Speaker 2: it's also and I love that she acknowledges this, it's
- 7:13Speaker 2: also hard for the children of those public people, and
- 7:17Speaker 2: that is something that's often overlooked, you know, and she
- 7:20Speaker 2: says that is one of those things where you know,
- 7:23Speaker 2: everybody has these going on in her family, but when
- 7:26Speaker 2: you're a public figure and you have to live it
- 7:27Speaker 2: so publicly, it's really much more difficult. So police were
- 7:30Speaker 2: called to Chelsea's residence on September ten, of course, and
- 7:34Speaker 2: it was following a domestic disturbance. Now, when they got
- 7:37Speaker 2: to the house, the house was in squalor, covered in filth.
- 7:41Speaker 2: There were reportedly meth amphetamine pipes, hypodermic needles where and
- 7:47Speaker 2: they were all within reach of Chelsea's eleven month old son, Atlas,
- 7:51Speaker 2: who could have easily got a hold of these things,
- 7:53Speaker 2: which would have been devastating in a whole other story obviously,
- 7:56Speaker 2: So the child protective services were notified and now Chelsea
- 7:59Speaker 2: faces felony charges including drug possession and chow neglect. There's
- 8:04Speaker 2: some really really serious stuff. But Rosie took to you know,
- 8:09Speaker 2: the internet, despite how difficult it was, to thank her fans,
- 8:13Speaker 2: to thank the fans for their kind of words and
- 8:15Speaker 2: well wishes. And I have to say again, I love
- 8:18Speaker 2: that she talked about the fact that children are impacted
- 8:20Speaker 2: because did not ask to be.
- 8:22Speaker 1: No, they didn't.
- 8:23Speaker 2: The children as people who knows how that impacts them?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. And you're never going to
- 8:28Speaker 1: step out of your mom and dad's shadow. Your mom
- 8:30Speaker 1: and dad are superstars. It's really hard. Financially, you're never
- 8:33Speaker 1: going to step out of their shadow too. It is
- 8:36Speaker 1: so complicated. I know Rosie a little bit, and she's
- 8:39Speaker 1: a really good mom. This is something she really tries hard.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And remember when she adopted Chelsea. I think Chelsea came
- 8:48Speaker 1: from a drug addicted biological mother too. A lot going
- 8:53Speaker 1: on here, and Rosie brought Chelsea into her home and
- 8:56Speaker 1: loved her and still loves her. But what can she do?
- 9:00Speaker 1: It breaks her heart and she would pay all the
- 9:04Speaker 1: money in the world she has to get Chelsea help,
- 9:07Speaker 1: but up to yet it hasn't worked. But that does
- 9:10Speaker 1: not mean Rose is going to stop trying. But I
- 9:13Speaker 1: do agree with Rosie. It is difficult, isn't it, being
- 9:17Speaker 1: a celebrity. It's easy to being a celebrity when you
- 9:19Speaker 1: walk in a red carpet and you're looking glamorous, you're
- 9:21Speaker 1: on that ozen pic and you're all fair. It isn't
- 9:24Speaker 1: easy being a celebrity if you put on some weight,
- 9:27Speaker 1: or when life gets difficult or your children have problems.
- 9:31Speaker 1: I think Rose has handled this in a really elegant,
- 9:35Speaker 1: classy way. She's obviously known about it for a month.
- 9:38Speaker 1: She hasn't said anything. The story broke, and then she
- 9:41Speaker 1: made this really heartfelt, authentic video where she talked about
- 9:45Speaker 1: being a celebrity, talked about being a mom. If you
- 9:48Speaker 1: haven't seen it, check it out. Okay, the following story
- 9:52Speaker 1: made me a bit sad too. Liam Neeson, who is
- 9:54Speaker 1: seventy two and a very good looking man, may I say,
- 9:57Speaker 1: has revealed that he's saying goodbye to dat in saying
- 9:59Speaker 1: I'm past all that. So in a new interview with
- 10:01Speaker 1: People magazine, he said he's completely over dating. When he
- 10:05Speaker 1: was asked about his romantic life, Liam bluntly replied, quote no,
- 10:11Speaker 1: in a word, I'm passed all that. Wow. He went
- 10:15Speaker 1: on to say that He's had a full life and
- 10:18Speaker 1: now he's focused on other things. Now, what I should
- 10:21Speaker 1: remind everybody is Liam's wife, Natasha Richardson, died of a
- 10:28Speaker 1: tragic skiing accident in two thousand and nine. He said, quote,
- 10:34Speaker 1: it was a horrible thing to happen. He didn't want
- 10:38Speaker 1: to talk about it much more. So. I don't think
- 10:41Speaker 1: Liam Neeson is giving up on dating anymore because he's
- 10:46Speaker 1: seventy two. I don't think that's it. I think it's
- 10:49Speaker 1: when Natasha died. After that, it took him a long
- 10:53Speaker 1: time to start dating again. He did, he had a
- 10:57Speaker 1: few romances. I actually know somebody who went on a
- 10:59Speaker 1: few dates with him and thought he was lovely, But
- 11:02Speaker 1: he clearly was still in love with Natasha and he
- 11:04Speaker 1: never got over that. Maybe he never will get over
- 11:07Speaker 1: something is a really cruel way of phrasing it. Maybe
- 11:09Speaker 1: you never made peace with it. I don't think you
- 11:11Speaker 1: ever get over something like that. But I think that
- 11:14Speaker 1: I understand this here is that he wants to remember
- 11:17Speaker 1: Natasha and how could somebody come along and catch his eye.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I hope, sir, I'm optimistic about this, but I think
- 11:24Speaker 1: until he makes peace with what happened, the tragedy. What happened?
- 11:28Speaker 1: Then I understand what he's saying. What about you? Yeah,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I think that it's.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Really one of those things where once someone is your
- 11:36Speaker 2: when you think someone is your soulmate, and you lose them,
- 11:39Speaker 2: you don't have that companionship anymore, and everyone else is
- 11:43Speaker 2: sort of like a consolation prize. No matter how wonderful
- 11:47Speaker 2: they are, they're just not that person. And it's interesting
- 11:50Speaker 2: my grandfather about twenty years before he passed away, he
- 11:53Speaker 2: lost my grandmother and they were married as high school sweethearts.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Are both at the age of sixteen year married, and
- 12:00Speaker 2: he didn't remarry again. I mean he could have gone.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I was still a handsome man. And he died of
- 12:06Speaker 2: ninety three twenty years later.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Life. Oh, Cory, that's so interesting. I think I'm quite
- 12:13Speaker 1: happy surrounding myself with my friends, like the whole that
- 12:18Speaker 1: would be in my heart in my life, I would
- 12:21Speaker 1: fill that with all my girlfriends. With you, I'd be
- 12:24Speaker 1: at Bottinas every night. I don't necessarily put romance or
- 12:29Speaker 1: finding somebody new as high as I did when I
- 12:32Speaker 1: was in my twenties. I wanted to have that, sure,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I wanted to have a partner, but now that I'm older,
- 12:38Speaker 1: there's something about companionship and hanging out with friends, and
- 12:42Speaker 1: I love being with Bruceles. Nobody I'd rather be with.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But I must admit I do have some good nights
- 12:48Speaker 1: with my friends and I laugh and I would be
- 12:53Speaker 1: totally happy with that. I understand what Liam's saying here,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but once again, I don't think it's because he's seventy two.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You don't just stop dating at seventy two, as we
- 13:01Speaker 1: know from the Golden Bachelorette, which I'm obsessed with. So Liam,
- 13:05Speaker 1: I hope somebody comes along. But I do understand what
- 13:07Speaker 1: you're saying. Okay, moving along. Roblo is finally admitted to
- 13:10Speaker 1: having a brief little fling with a certain superstar tell
- 13:14Speaker 1: me everything.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Well, what's so funny about this? Adn'tyone like anyone who
- 13:17Speaker 2: knows the whole Black Pack. We just assumed they were
- 13:20Speaker 2: just like in one big bed to the eighties, you know. So,
- 13:24Speaker 2: but Rob Loow is admitting that he had a brief
- 13:27Speaker 2: fling with Demi Moore during their their brat pack days
- 13:31Speaker 2: in the nineteen eighties. So he confirmed the speculation, and
- 13:34Speaker 2: he says, I mean Demi and I briefly, I'm not
- 13:37Speaker 2: telling tales out of school was briefly we had a thing,
- 13:41Speaker 2: so you know, of course he got he came back
- 13:43Speaker 2: to a big acclaim on the Parks and Recreation Show
- 13:47Speaker 2: in the past few years. But he said, you know, lightheartedly,
- 13:49Speaker 2: he joked about the atmosphere on the set of Saint
- 13:51Speaker 2: Elmo's Fire. I think said that's pretty much.
- 13:54Speaker 1: What I assumed anyway.
- 13:55Speaker 2: But he also went on to mention that was people
- 13:57Speaker 2: don't remember that Demi Moore and Emilio Estevez were in
- 14:00Speaker 2: aged for a while during this time, right, And he said,
- 14:03Speaker 2: even how they got all together, still remained good friends
- 14:06Speaker 2: even after that romance fizzle. So they were just a
- 14:09Speaker 2: really interesting part of American pop culture.
- 14:12Speaker 1: It was it was a moment.
- 14:14Speaker 2: It was a moment, and for me, Molly Ringworld was like, oh,
- 14:17Speaker 2: I was obsessed with Yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Molly Ringwald's or not.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we just love the brad.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Pat I look, but I think you're right. He's sort
- 14:24Speaker 1: of telling us something or confirming something we already all do,
- 14:27Speaker 1: or at least okay, quickly before we get a break.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I love this story. Oliver Hudson is admitting that he
- 14:32Speaker 1: hated fans coming up to his mom, Goldie Horn, when
- 14:36Speaker 1: he was little. He's opening up about it, saying that
- 14:39Speaker 1: when people came over for autographs, he absolutely hated it
- 14:43Speaker 1: because those interruptions were distracting from his personal time he
- 14:48Speaker 1: wanted with his mummy. He said, quote, I reflect on
- 14:51Speaker 1: these feelings that I used to have when I was
- 14:54Speaker 1: a young person, people coming up and wanting her Goldie
- 14:58Speaker 1: Horn's attention. We forget what a big star aldi holme
- 15:00Speaker 1: by a major star. And he said it distracted her
- 15:04Speaker 1: from her energy towards me, and I hated it. He
- 15:07Speaker 1: did go on to say, though, and I do this
- 15:09Speaker 1: makes me laugh. He said Kate was fine with it.
- 15:11Speaker 1: He said, Kate loved it. Kate was like bringing up
- 15:14Speaker 1: when somebody came over and wanted an autograph or a photograph,
- 15:17Speaker 1: Kate was like, do you want mine to? Kay? Always do.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She was going to be a star. Okay, We're going
- 15:22Speaker 1: to take a quick breaks and we would be right back.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Welcome back to the naughty benign. He's proud turn over
- 15:28Speaker 1: your friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the
- 15:30Speaker 1: polls that they don't How shall we talk about Mega
- 15:33Speaker 1: Markle keeping a personal memoir as a weapon in her
- 15:37Speaker 1: back pocket for revenge if needed. All. How clever is
- 15:41Speaker 1: it clever? That was our question, divius or smart? Let
- 15:44Speaker 1: someone like oh seventy percent said smart. She knows everything
- 15:48Speaker 1: and she's holding onto it for when she needs it.
- 15:50Speaker 1: God forbid her and Harry break up. That's when she'll
- 15:53Speaker 1: tell all. At the minute, she don't need the money
- 15:55Speaker 1: they're doing. Okay, Harry has inherited all that money from Granny.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They've got a ton of money. They've just bought a
- 16:01Speaker 1: new five million dollar house in Portugals Monday. They got
- 16:04Speaker 1: the money, and Harry made a lot of money from
- 16:06Speaker 1: that book, The Megan's Leg While these memories are still fresh,
- 16:10Speaker 1: Why did I just write this doubt and then I've
- 16:12Speaker 1: got it ready to go when I did? I think
- 16:14Speaker 1: I agree with you noughties. It is very smart. Hey,
- 16:17Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's poem. Got to my
- 16:19Speaker 1: Twitter page and nights wrong on a Facebook page, which
- 16:22Speaker 1: is naughty gossip. I'd be shure to check back on
- 16:24Speaker 1: Monday you to hear your results. And now I love
- 16:28Speaker 1: this part of the show. It's time for a noisy
- 16:31Speaker 1: of the Jurday.
- 16:33Speaker 2: And this is nice because I just imagine these two
- 16:35Speaker 2: paling around. So, yeah, this is kind of great. So
- 16:38Speaker 2: Meryl Streep and Martin Short they formed like this really
- 16:41Speaker 2: amazing bond on the set of their well, the hit
- 16:45Speaker 2: show Only Murderers in the Building.
- 16:46Speaker 1: It's a good show.
- 16:47Speaker 2: It's a really good show. And this is from one
- 16:49Speaker 2: of the co creators who is saying that Meryll and Martin,
- 16:52Speaker 2: that's Meryl Streep and Martin Short Boom. They have formed
- 16:56Speaker 2: this amazing friendship and they are really delighted by each
- 17:00Speaker 2: other on screen and off screens, the kid and it's
- 17:03Speaker 2: really yeah, and offscreen off the kind of really get along.
- 17:05Speaker 2: And so I think it makes you do your job
- 17:07Speaker 2: better when you like the person you're working with. So
- 17:10Speaker 2: this is coming out ahead of season fours. That's how long.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I mean, time flies already in season four. And this
- 17:15Speaker 2: co creator says, you know, sometimes he takes a look
- 17:17Speaker 2: at them, and he says he remembers thinking like God,
- 17:20Speaker 2: and I think that's a positive thing. He's thinking, like,
- 17:22Speaker 2: how amazing it is that he watches the two or
- 17:25Speaker 2: he or she we don't know who was this co creator,
- 17:28Speaker 2: but the two of them are being watched, you know,
- 17:30Speaker 2: from the from the crew. And it's a really unbelievable
- 17:32Speaker 2: thing to see this friendship that they are just delighting
- 17:36Speaker 2: in each other on the screen in every way so great.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Ensure your life, live your best life. And now I
- 17:42Speaker 1: noticed the day Todd Christly from that reality show has
- 17:47Speaker 1: been fired from the prison chapel job he had for
- 17:50Speaker 1: chatting too much. So he's got himself a nice because
- 17:53Speaker 1: she job in the prison in the chapel. However, according
- 17:57Speaker 1: to his attorney, the decision to remove Todd from the
- 18:01Speaker 1: role was because he was a chatty cats and he
- 18:04Speaker 1: didn't shut up talking. I mean, it makes me these
- 18:08Speaker 1: realities does even when the cameras aren't on, they need
- 18:10Speaker 1: the attention, needing, needy, needy, needy, needy. Well, now Todd
- 18:14Speaker 1: has to apply for another job within the prison. We
- 18:18Speaker 1: should remind everybody that he's in jail because of tax evasion,
- 18:23Speaker 1: so he didn't pay his taxes. Paying your taxes, everybody,
- 18:28Speaker 1: and so he got caughties in jail and he had
- 18:31Speaker 1: a nice job in the chapel or I bet that's
- 18:33Speaker 1: a nice job. Well, he couldn't keep his mouth shut,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and now he has been fired. And the day, let's said,
- 18:40Speaker 1: with the moment of r get a rub. We try
- 18:43Speaker 1: to give you all the great funny celebrity gossip for
- 18:46Speaker 1: fifteen twenty minutes, but for a moment, we're a little
- 18:48Speaker 1: bit more deep. Today's moment of rub. I always do
- 18:53Speaker 1: something that I'm a little not ready to do, and
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think that's how you grow. Don't ever turned something
- 19:01Speaker 1: down because you're not one hundred percent qualified. Now you
- 19:04Speaker 1: shouldn't be zero percent, and you shouldn't be ten percent,
- 19:07Speaker 1: But anything above sixty, in my book, is a win.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And this is really interesting. There's a new study act
- 19:14Speaker 1: and it shows that men apply for jobs when they
- 19:17Speaker 1: are sixty percent or more qualified, women apply for jobs
- 19:21Speaker 1: when they're ninety five percent qualified. Don't do that if
- 19:26Speaker 1: you're sixty percent. It's a motto on this show. You're
- 19:30Speaker 1: good enough, Ye're good enough, go for it. I like
- 19:33Speaker 1: feeling a little bit uncomfortable, not totally uncomfortable. I don't
- 19:36Speaker 1: want to be out of my depth completely. Sure, I've
- 19:38Speaker 1: been a little bit uncomfortable. I like it. I remember
- 19:41Speaker 1: when you first went in studio at News Nation, Cory,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you were a little nervous. But now I've done it,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and I bet it was a good feeling. But now
- 19:48Speaker 1: you've done it and you were great. It must feel fabulous, yes, yes, and.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And thank you for bringing that up, because I've gotten
- 19:53Speaker 2: better because of those early opportunities. But also I now
- 19:58Speaker 2: speak to leaders. When I do other podcasts, I speak
- 20:00Speaker 2: to successful businessmen. They all have that in common, and women.
- 20:04Speaker 2: They all have that in common that they were given
- 20:06Speaker 2: an opportunity and they weren't sure if they can do it.
- 20:09Speaker 2: But instead of saying no, they said yes, and I'll
- 20:11Speaker 2: figure it out. I'll figure it there.
- 20:13Speaker 1: My first podcast. I've never done a podcast before, so
- 20:15Speaker 1: by definition I didn't know how to do and I said, yes,
- 20:18Speaker 1: it was awful, but I figured it out. Now I'm marvelous.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Okay, that is it for this week.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to They don't have
- 20:25Speaker 1: been nice with Robert Corey show a prediction and I
- 20:28Speaker 1: had radio didn't figure this This guy on the iHeartRadio
- 20:30Speaker 1: app Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review
- 20:33Speaker 1: if you can. They really do help and we do
- 20:34Speaker 1: read them and remember all together. Now let me hear
- 20:37Speaker 1: you singing out loud, if you're going to be to
- 20:44Speaker 1: take care of everybody, it's not even nice with ra
