Adapted by Harold Swanton from an original story by Everett T. Tomlinson, the script draws on W. Somerset Maugham’s The Moon and Sixpence and had previously been heard on The Whistler in 1945. As romance and adventure beckon, a brighter future brings unforeseen danger.
