- 0:00Speaker 1: His job, make it all make sense. He's marks alone
- 0:05Speaker 1: on Seventena.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Having a big ceremony as we speak. Right now at
- 0:12Speaker 2: the White House, President Trump is speaking. King Charles is there,
- 0:16Speaker 2: the King, and there's quite an audience on the lawn
- 0:20Speaker 2: at the White House. There many dignitaries. You'll see all
- 0:24Speaker 2: the top Democrats. Again, what happened to the no king stuff?
- 0:30Speaker 2: They're all celebrating the king. He's going to address Congress today.
- 0:33Speaker 2: All the Democrats will be there. There's a big state
- 0:36Speaker 2: dinner tonight. All the Democrats will be there. What happened
- 0:39Speaker 2: to your no king stuff? Here's a real, actual king,
- 0:43Speaker 2: and you're all over him, slabbing all over him, taking
- 0:45Speaker 2: pictures with him. So you just can't try to figure
- 0:51Speaker 2: it out. It's all it's all total hypocrisy. You know.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I almost made the mistake of saying I hate that
- 0:57Speaker 2: stupid phrase. I almost said, you can't make this stuff up.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That's the dumbest phrase in the world. There are people
- 1:03Speaker 2: who do make that stuff up for a living. All
- 1:05Speaker 2: the great writers, screenwriters, they all go crazy whenever you're
- 1:10Speaker 2: to use that expression, Yeah you can't make this stuff up,
- 1:13Speaker 2: Yeah you can. That's what they do. For a living.
- 1:15Speaker 2: They make up stuff even more outrageous than that. So
- 1:19Speaker 2: King Charles will come to New York tomorrow, Mom Donnie
- 1:22Speaker 2: will show them around. Also, you're gonna have the other
- 1:27Speaker 2: controversy with Mom Donnie. You got all this FIFA stuff coming,
- 1:31Speaker 2: which is FIFA is all the soccer stuff in the
- 1:33Speaker 2: World Cup and all that. It'll be here in New York,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it'll be in New Jersey, it'll be all over the place.
- 1:39Speaker 2: It's gonna tie up everything. Hang on, sorry, it's all
- 1:48Speaker 2: those buffets choking to death on something. So it's gonna
- 1:53Speaker 2: just be a snarled up mess. And Donnie addressing that.
- 1:56Speaker 1: These events were not initially set to be free, but
- 1:59Speaker 1: the world's should belong to the world, and so we've
- 2:02Speaker 1: made the decision together for fans to be able to
- 2:04Speaker 1: watch that together without having to spend a dollar.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, so, I don't know what TL he's talking about.
- 2:09Speaker 2: He doesn't either. It's going to cost a fortune for everything.
- 2:12Speaker 2: The tickets are outrageous, even to take the train. Everything's
- 2:17Speaker 2: going to cost a fortune. It's going to be totally disruptive.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I guess that's good. It brings a lot of attention
- 2:22Speaker 2: to New York you know whatever. You see the Grand Prix,
- 2:26Speaker 2: the Formula One Grand Prix Miami, Monte Carlo, Las Figs.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You know, they got to close up the whole downtown
- 2:32Speaker 2: for a week. It's an absolute nightmare. But but it
- 2:36Speaker 2: looks good. It's like a advertisement all over the world
- 2:39Speaker 2: for the city. So we should be proud. The World
- 2:42Speaker 2: Cup is coming.
- 2:42Speaker 1: We will be hosting five free official fan events, one
- 2:47Speaker 1: in each borough, featuring live viewings, local food offerings, and
- 2:51Speaker 1: so much more.
- 2:53Speaker 2: It's funny he gets excited about this, the World Cup.
- 2:57Speaker 2: He's all excited. The World Cup. It's coming. It's going
- 2:59Speaker 2: to be great for New York. Meantime, if you're a
- 3:02Speaker 2: billionaire like Ken Griffin and you're about to pump six
- 3:05Speaker 2: billion into the economy to build an enormous skyscraper, he
- 3:08Speaker 2: hates you. He's mad at you. You know, this Ken
- 3:10Speaker 2: Griffin building he's going to put on fifty second in
- 3:13Speaker 2: Park would employ fifteen thousand people and to build it
- 3:19Speaker 2: will employ six thousand construction workers for about five years.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's going to take that long to build it. So
- 3:26Speaker 2: he's mad at that guy. But the World couple be
- 3:29Speaker 2: here for a day and a half. Two minutes and
- 3:31Speaker 2: he's all excited about that. Go try to figure that out.
- 3:34Speaker 2: So you know, for those of you that that think
- 3:38Speaker 2: New York is dying, it's over. That's it. It's these
- 3:43Speaker 2: big real estate guys, these big billionaires. They're very smart
- 3:47Speaker 2: when it comes to this stuff. They can see into
- 3:49Speaker 2: the future, and they're building or about to build massive
- 3:54Speaker 2: skyscrapers all over New York. This Ken Griffin building would
- 3:56Speaker 2: be it. Fifty second and Park. Remember the old Brooks
- 4:01Speaker 2: Brothers store on Madison Avenue, the original flagship Brooks Brothers
- 4:06Speaker 2: has been closed for a couple of years. It's a
- 4:08Speaker 2: coffee shop. Well, one of the big real estate companies,
- 4:11Speaker 2: one of the great builders in New York. They're going
- 4:13Speaker 2: to tear all that down that build a massive building.
- 4:16Speaker 2: They're a beautiful new building. And then the Roosevelt Hotel,
- 4:22Speaker 2: which was the Migrant that's probably going to come down.
- 4:24Speaker 2: I think it's JP Morgan Chase looking at building another
- 4:27Speaker 2: skyscraper there. If you go to fifty eighth and Madison,
- 4:32Speaker 2: you'll see all the buildings have been torn down. There's
- 4:35Speaker 2: a big hole in the ground. Well, there's a eighty
- 4:38Speaker 2: five story skyscraper about to go up there on fifty
- 4:43Speaker 2: seventh between fifth and sixth on both sides of the street,
- 4:47Speaker 2: there's like seventy five story skyscrapers going up on both sides.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I mean, I can rattle off about twenty of these
- 4:52Speaker 2: skyscrapers going up, and they're all multi billion dollar projects,
- 4:58Speaker 2: billions for each building. And these real estate guys are
- 5:01Speaker 2: spending it because they know New York is going to
- 5:03Speaker 2: have a big future. They're not moving these buildings somewhere else. Now.
- 5:09Speaker 2: The only one that's questionable, and this I don't know about.
- 5:14Speaker 2: You know, there's a lot of skyscraper there's a bunch
- 5:17Speaker 2: of skyscrapers in Columbus Circle, and then after that it's
- 5:20Speaker 2: the Upper West Side where there's no skyscrapers, except now
- 5:24Speaker 2: there's one. It's about sixty sixth then Broadway. It's like
- 5:28Speaker 2: a fifty five sixty story skyscraper. It just kind of
- 5:32Speaker 2: stands out. You've never seen a skyscraper on the old
- 5:36Speaker 2: Upper West Side. Well, now there's another one. I think
- 5:40Speaker 2: it hasn't been fully approved yet, but it's where the
- 5:42Speaker 2: old ABC TV was on sixty seventh and Columbus. The
- 5:48Speaker 2: ABC it was actually a campus. It was like three
- 5:51Speaker 2: or four buildings. That's where Live with Regis was every
- 5:54Speaker 2: morning Channel seven News, all that ABC stuff moved down
- 5:59Speaker 2: to Tribeca because somebody bought all those buildings. They're tearing
- 6:02Speaker 2: them down. They want to build an eighty five story skyscraper.
- 6:07Speaker 2: But that's on the upper West side, in the middle
- 6:09Speaker 2: of all those regular apartments. You'll see these two enormous skyscrapers.
- 6:13Speaker 2: It's kind of jarring. The same thing happened in Queens
- 6:17Speaker 2: and Brooklyn. You know, remember you used to look over
- 6:18Speaker 2: at Queens from Manhattan and there was one little skyscraper,
- 6:22Speaker 2: one little city bank building. Now you look over there,
- 6:25Speaker 2: it's a whole skyline. On both sides of the East River,
- 6:29Speaker 2: there's a skyline. So you're going to see more and
- 6:32Speaker 2: more of that. There's going to be these skyscrapers everywhere.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But uh, if he asked these big real estate guys,
- 6:41Speaker 2: the heads of these big real estacings. So once' you're
- 6:42Speaker 2: worried about Mam Donnie, I'll tell you he's just a
- 6:45Speaker 2: blipping time. He'll be gone before you know it, because
- 6:48Speaker 2: these projects are you know, eight year, ten year projects.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Now Mam Donnie wants to do a ticker tape parade
- 6:56Speaker 2: for the Artemis two crew, the astronauts. Well, have you
- 7:01Speaker 2: heard anybody talk about him in the last week? Boy,
- 7:03Speaker 2: they got forgotten about fast, the Artemis two astronauts. You know,
- 7:08Speaker 2: it used to be if you were an astronaut in
- 7:11Speaker 2: the good old days of Gemini Apollo, when you came
- 7:14Speaker 2: down from the Moon, you were on the Tonight Show,
- 7:16Speaker 2: you were on Meet the Press, you were on everything,
- 7:18Speaker 2: you were on the Today Show, you were all over
- 7:20Speaker 2: the place. But we forgot all about these guys. Do
- 7:24Speaker 2: you know anybody could name their names? I don't think so.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So they want to do this ticker tape parade here
- 7:30Speaker 2: in New York. You wouldn't think Mamdani'd be a big
- 7:33Speaker 2: parade guy. You wouldn't think he'd be a big Space
- 7:37Speaker 2: program guy. But he wants to do it. He wants
- 7:40Speaker 2: NASA to pay for it. That's the problem. Ticker tape
- 7:43Speaker 2: parades cost a lot of money, not just the cleanup, sanitation,
- 7:48Speaker 2: but you got to have a lot of cops. That's
- 7:50Speaker 2: a lot of overtime. So he wants NASA to pay
- 7:54Speaker 2: for Good luck with that. Hey, Katie Couric, seems like
- 7:59Speaker 2: a nice, you know, perky, nice, cute Katie Kurk. She
- 8:03Speaker 2: definitely has a weasel side to her. She turned on
- 8:07Speaker 2: Matt Lower. She never did this before. There's a new
- 8:11Speaker 2: book that's come out from one of the alleged rape victims.
- 8:16Speaker 2: She's written a long, detailed book. I can't see the
- 8:24Speaker 2: title here, but it's her memoir and she tells the stories.
- 8:28Speaker 2: She was on the road with Matt Lower. She was
- 8:32Speaker 2: like an assistant a producer. I guess she was a producer.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And they're traveling there, staying in the hotel at the Olympics,
- 8:38Speaker 2: and somehow she ends up in Matt Lower's room and
- 8:41Speaker 2: she says she was raped by him. Then she says
- 8:45Speaker 2: another time in his Today Show office he raped her.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Remember he had that button. When he's at his desk,
- 8:52Speaker 2: he can reach under and touch a button that'll lock
- 8:54Speaker 2: all the doors. Now, who has that kind of a
- 8:57Speaker 2: button in their office. I know a lot of big
- 9:00Speaker 2: CEOs that have incredible, unbelievably equipped offices. There's no button
- 9:04Speaker 2: under the desk to lock the doors. That's usually James
- 9:08Speaker 2: Bond Villain has that button. Maybe somewhere in the highest
- 9:14Speaker 2: levels of the intelligence department. Somebody needs that button. But
- 9:17Speaker 2: what does Matt Lower need the button to lock the doors.
- 9:20Speaker 2: So she remember this was the story where supposedly he raped
- 9:22Speaker 2: this woman in the office and then when it was over,
- 9:26Speaker 2: she had passed out and they had a call the
- 9:28Speaker 2: NBC nurses to come drag her out of that kind
- 9:32Speaker 2: of stuff. So she's written a book about this. I
- 9:38Speaker 2: wasn't there. I can't tell you it happened, but sounds
- 9:41Speaker 2: to me like it happened because NBC investigated and Matt
- 9:44Speaker 2: Lower was fired twenty four hours later. Now I remember,
- 9:49Speaker 2: he's the host of the Today Show. He's getting twenty
- 9:50Speaker 2: five million a year. Is a big thing. He's the
- 9:53Speaker 2: number one Today Show. You don't fool around with that.
- 9:55Speaker 2: The fact that they fired him the next day, well,
- 10:02Speaker 2: I think that means something was going on there. So
- 10:06Speaker 2: she's written this book and they asked Katie Koric about it,
- 10:10Speaker 2: and she didn't defend Matt Lower anyway. She says, I
- 10:12Speaker 2: feel terrible for her. I think she was very brave,
- 10:16Speaker 2: very brave to write the book. And what can she
- 10:20Speaker 2: say if she knows it's true. I don't know, But
- 10:24Speaker 2: you got to remember something. They all worked with Matt
- 10:26Speaker 2: Lwer in fact, in fact, if you go back and
- 10:29Speaker 2: check the record. This was during all that me Too
- 10:32Speaker 2: stuff coming out, that Charlie Rose type stuff coming out.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I sat on the air Matt Lower, and I said,
- 10:38Speaker 2: it's coming. It's gonna happen. He's gonna get caught too.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So if I knew about it, I don't even work there.
- 10:45Speaker 2: If I knew about it, why didn't Katie Koric know
- 10:48Speaker 2: about it? If it's happening at NBC News and they're
- 10:52Speaker 2: supposed to be the top investigative journalists of the world
- 10:55Speaker 2: and it's happening two doors down in the hallway, how
- 10:58Speaker 2: come they didn't know about it home? They didn't say anything.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It's a pretty good question. Nobody's nobody's asked. So you
- 11:06Speaker 2: want to feel really old, really old. Remember David Hasselhoff,
- 11:12Speaker 2: Remember Baywatch? Remember him in that bathing suit and the
- 11:15Speaker 2: surfboard running along the beach in Baywatch. Look at this
- 11:18Speaker 2: picture David Hasselhoff now using a walker. He's got the
- 11:23Speaker 2: gray hair, white hair, he's got a walker. He's with
- 11:25Speaker 2: a for the his wife is helping him. He's using
- 11:28Speaker 2: a walker. Oh, actually he's only seventy three. I guess
- 11:31Speaker 2: he said some medical problems. Hey, Rob Reiner, you know
- 11:37Speaker 2: you had this crazed son, Nick Reiner, But did you
- 11:41Speaker 2: know about this one? Ryan O'Neill and Farah Fawcett have
- 11:44Speaker 2: a son. Ryan O'Neill and Farah Fawcett's son is named
- 11:48Speaker 2: Redmond O'Neill. He was in court last week with a
- 11:53Speaker 2: slew of charges. He's in court for attempted murder. He
- 11:57Speaker 2: looks really frightening. He's got the scary tattoos all over
- 12:02Speaker 2: his face. Apparently struggled with drug addiction from a very
- 12:06Speaker 2: young age, in and out of rehab. He has all
- 12:09Speaker 2: kinds of addictions he can't control. He's been in asylums
- 12:14Speaker 2: and all kinds of rehab for years. In twenty eighteen,
- 12:18Speaker 2: he went on a knife rampage across Los Angeles, attacked
- 12:21Speaker 2: five men, robbed the seven to eleven, seriously injured two victims,
- 12:25Speaker 2: including who was one who was stabbed in the face.
- 12:30Speaker 2: That's not a place, Hollywood, probably not a place you
- 12:33Speaker 2: want to raise your kids. Not a great environment. Now.
- 12:39Speaker 2: The other thing is King Charles will be here in
- 12:41Speaker 2: New York tomorrow, so just remember that this is I
- 12:44Speaker 2: imagine there'll be a lot of security, be kind of disruptive.
- 12:47Speaker 2: So if you're planning on driving into New York. You
- 12:49Speaker 2: probably don't want to do it tomorrow. Hey, the Sphere
- 12:55Speaker 2: in Las Vegas. You've either been there. It's an amazing
- 12:59Speaker 2: thing to see or you've seen it. The Sphere in
- 13:02Speaker 2: Las Vegas built by Madison Square Garden, by James Dolan.
- 13:06Speaker 2: You know they spent two and a half billion to
- 13:08Speaker 2: build it. Kind of a gamble. Well, it's now officially
- 13:12Speaker 2: the world's highest grossing entertainment venue. Remember, the initial predictions
- 13:18Speaker 2: were all doomsday predictions. It's never gonna work well. Last
- 13:22Speaker 2: year alone, almost two million people bought a ticket to
- 13:25Speaker 2: go to the Sphere. Last year alone, it brought in
- 13:28Speaker 2: about almost four hundred million in revenue. It's the top
- 13:32Speaker 2: grossing venue in the world. It helped push the comp
- 13:37Speaker 2: They actually made it a separate company, Sphere Entertainment. It's
- 13:39Speaker 2: now in the black, big net profit investors have taken notice.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Company stock was twenty six dollars. Now it's one hundred
- 13:48Speaker 2: and thirty eight dollars. It's way way up. I talked
- 13:51Speaker 2: to Dolan maybe it was six months ago, about the Sphere.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I said, you're going to open them all over the place.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He just looked at me like No, it's a it's
- 13:58Speaker 2: impossible to much to do. It's too it's too tough
- 14:02Speaker 2: to build them, and kind of said, Las Vegas is
- 14:05Speaker 2: really the only place you can do it. Maybe you
- 14:08Speaker 2: could do it in Florida, because you really need a
- 14:10Speaker 2: lot of cooperation for the land, for the permits, for
- 14:13Speaker 2: the whole thing from the government there. And obviously you
- 14:16Speaker 2: can't do it in New York. They would just torture
- 14:18Speaker 2: you with zoning and regulations and all that stuff. And
- 14:22Speaker 2: also he kind of said, if you build them all
- 14:24Speaker 2: over the place, it takes away the cachet of the
- 14:27Speaker 2: one in Las Vegas. It's not so special. If it's
- 14:29Speaker 2: a chain and there's a whole bunch of them. Hey,
- 14:32Speaker 2: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 14:35Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten is the number, you know.
- 14:38Speaker 2: ICE is the Immigration and Custom Enforcement Agency Customs Enforcement ICE.
- 14:47Speaker 2: And there's all the controversy, all the flack. Somebody suggested
- 14:50Speaker 2: the President Trump and he loves the idea. Somebody suggested
- 14:54Speaker 2: changed the name to the National Immigration Customs Enforcement And
- 15:02Speaker 2: that way it's nice, it's not ICE. It becomes nice
- 15:06Speaker 2: and on the uniform it says nice and on the helmet.
- 15:09Speaker 2: It says Nice. Uh, he really got excited about that idea.
- 15:12Speaker 2: I think you're going to see him do it, so
- 15:14Speaker 2: expect that to happen pretty soon. They'll change the name
- 15:16Speaker 2: of ICE to Nice National Immigration and Customs Enforcement, So
- 15:21Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:25Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:28Speaker 2: one zero seven ten
