- 0:04Speaker 1: Good morning family, God bless you. Welcome back to the
- 0:06Speaker 1: morning DeVos you bro Sam Lopez aka DJ Sam Rock
- 0:10Speaker 1: so winners with a z DO or rg celeb radio network.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Le have Valley's number one urban gospel music station online
- 0:18Speaker 1: since two thousand and eight. Amen, And we have a
- 0:21Speaker 1: wonderful problem with the radio network. It's growing so much
- 0:24Speaker 1: that I might be having to upgrade my content delivery
- 0:28Speaker 1: network the plan. Amen, So I might have to invest
- 0:33Speaker 1: more funds into it. Amen. So if you're feel in
- 0:36Speaker 1: your heart to help in that direction or finances first
- 0:40Speaker 1: for your prayer, but with finances to continue going strong
- 0:45Speaker 1: and really being having a bandwidth literally to host all
- 0:50Speaker 1: the listeners that are coming through. Amen. There's a way
- 0:53Speaker 1: to do that and we could you'll see it later
- 0:55Speaker 1: on the screen the link to do that as well.
- 1:00Speaker 1: They were talking about how to handle disputes. Amen. As Christians,
- 1:07Speaker 1: we have disputes. Leavers have disputes. You see the world
- 1:12Speaker 1: and the wars that are going on right those disputes
- 1:17Speaker 1: in the world, the wars Amen are based on faulty
- 1:23Speaker 1: ways of handling disputes. But how should Christians handle disputes? Amen?
- 1:31Speaker 1: I should have put that in there. But how to
- 1:34Speaker 1: handle disputes the right way, Amen is founding the scriptures.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Founding the scriptures, and we have the perfect man, God man, Amen,
- 1:44Speaker 1: Jesus telling us how to handle it. Handling a dispute
- 1:48Speaker 1: like a Christian means responding in a way that honors God,
- 1:55Speaker 1: bless the love of Christ, and seeks peace over pride.
- 2:00Speaker 1: There's always peace over pride. Man over here, that's so winners. Amen.
- 2:04Speaker 1: If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or any prayer requests,
- 2:08Speaker 1: please don't hesitate to leave it on a live chat.
- 2:11Speaker 1: We're gonna be in. Matthew and I've spelled Matthew wrong. Wow,
- 2:14Speaker 1: that's crazy. Matthew eighteen fifteen, Amen, Matthew, Chapter eighteen, verse
- 2:21Speaker 1: number fifteen. And you know humanity sets in when I
- 2:26Speaker 1: see type. I see typos right away. I think God
- 2:29Speaker 1: gave me that gift to see typos. I could change stuff. Amen,
- 2:33Speaker 1: You could change stuff too when you see typos. Right,
- 2:36Speaker 1: what do you have to do when you see typos?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, You have to fix the word. Amen.
- 2:41Speaker 1: The word fixes us, and we could fix the spelling
- 2:44Speaker 1: of the word in the natural realm. So let's go forward.
- 2:48Speaker 1: We pray first. After we pray, we shut us out
- 2:50Speaker 1: for like sixty seconds. Hopefully I fixed that. Amen, My apologies.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I don't like typos in anything, anything that I do well,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I said anything, Amen, accent go for it, Sam, So listen,
- 3:02Speaker 1: let's go. We'll pray first. After we pray, we'll share
- 3:05Speaker 1: this out for like sixty seconds, and then on the
- 3:07Speaker 1: other side of the sixty will come right in with
- 3:10Speaker 1: the scripture. Amen, how to handle disputes today on the
- 3:13Speaker 1: morning Devo. Let's pray. Father. I pray, Lord God, that
- 3:17Speaker 1: you will help me, help us as believers, help this
- 3:21Speaker 1: nation of believers, young old, everyone in between, to settle
- 3:28Speaker 1: disputes in a manner that honors God. And we will
- 3:32Speaker 1: not lift up pride, but we will lift up peace
- 3:35Speaker 1: over pride and the holy name of Jesus. I pray
- 3:38Speaker 1: that your will be done during the time that we
- 3:41Speaker 1: have together all these morning DeVos, from whatever time people
- 3:45Speaker 1: are watching or listening, that they will receive your word
- 3:49Speaker 1: by way of your spirit, by way of your revelation,
- 3:53Speaker 1: that we would really embrace what you're saying and how
- 3:58Speaker 1: to handle disputes according to your will and purpose. I
- 4:01Speaker 1: pray a head of protection over myself, my wife, our family,
- 4:05Speaker 1: our children, our grandchildren, our both sides of the family,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and every single person that's watching and listening. I pray peace,
- 4:14Speaker 1: be still and know that there is a God over
- 4:17Speaker 1: our hearts, over our minds, physically, emotionally and spiritually. And
- 4:21Speaker 1: thank you, Lord God, that you give us health to
- 4:23Speaker 1: our body, strength to our bones. I pray, Lord God,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that we can stay focused on the perfector and author
- 4:29Speaker 1: and the architect of peace and the Prince of peace.
- 4:33Speaker 1: We will stay focused on you, Lord God, help us
- 4:36Speaker 1: not to be distracted, help us to settle disputes and
- 4:40Speaker 1: handle it with holiness, and handle it with grace and
- 4:45Speaker 1: mercy and truth and love. I pray this's by faith,
- 4:48Speaker 1: knowing that you hear these prayers and you answer them
- 4:51Speaker 1: according to every single individual situation that's happening right now
- 4:56Speaker 1: in my life, in the world's life, and every single
- 4:59Speaker 1: person who called upon your name to be saved. We
- 5:03Speaker 1: are rescued, we are born again, we are restored, we
- 5:06Speaker 1: are redeemed, and we have Holy Spirit God helping us
- 5:09Speaker 1: to how to answer the question of how to handle
- 5:13Speaker 1: disputes and to do it well. In Jesus Holy Name,
- 5:16Speaker 1: my prayer it's by faith, and all those agree who
- 5:19Speaker 1: agree with this prayer, we say amen to the Amen.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Since the joyce I see you, Good morning, God, bless
- 5:23Speaker 1: you well. Thank you for the blessings over the group
- 5:26Speaker 1: as well. A prayer blessing over you and your family
- 5:29Speaker 1: as well. And Jesus Holy Name. So let's go forward
- 5:31Speaker 1: sixty seconds. How we share this out. When we come back,
- 5:34Speaker 1: We'll get right into today's Morning Devo. I'll be right
- 5:37Speaker 1: back man. Amen. So for those who are whip me
- 6:59Speaker 1: at the top of the morning Devo, Amen, there's a
- 7:03Speaker 1: link right now that you're looking at, if you're watching,
- 7:06Speaker 1: if you're live with me, Amen, And for those who
- 7:09Speaker 1: are just listening. I had mentioned earlier that we have
- 7:11Speaker 1: a wonderful problem going on on the network, that we're
- 7:15Speaker 1: getting more listeners than I'll bandwidth. Amen. And that means
- 7:20Speaker 1: that if simply say that, if I get more listeners
- 7:26Speaker 1: than what my bandwidth can handle, Amen, the radio network
- 7:31Speaker 1: shuts down temporarily. It sets down temporarily until we fix
- 7:35Speaker 1: the matter and add more bandwidth to the content delivery
- 7:39Speaker 1: network that I'm currently using. We're fully licensed, Amen. This
- 7:43Speaker 1: is all a worker the hand of God. Amen. So
- 7:47Speaker 1: it was going to expand, it was going to happen.
- 7:50Speaker 1: This was going to happen. So if you have it
- 7:52Speaker 1: in your heart to help me and help the ministry,
- 7:56Speaker 1: help me, help other ministries and help other families and
- 7:58Speaker 1: help other listeners receive what we're giving out. Amen. On
- 8:02Speaker 1: the network, please or hesitate, go to so wins with
- 8:06Speaker 1: a Z dot orgy forward slash donate. That's all I'll say. There.
- 8:09Speaker 1: When you go to that page right there, so win
- 8:11Speaker 1: is with a Z dot orgy forward slash donate, you
- 8:14Speaker 1: could just see a page of what's happening on the ministry,
- 8:19Speaker 1: in the ministry by way of Holy Spirit, by way
- 8:21Speaker 1: of what God has shown us. And from there you pray, Amen,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and you take action from the prayer. The result of
- 8:29Speaker 1: the prayer. Thank you so much in advance since the joy,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and I see you. Good morning, God bless you, welcome
- 8:34Speaker 1: back to the morning. Devo, my system and my friend.
- 8:37Speaker 1: How to handle disputes. You ever had a dispute, an argument, disagreement? Amen? Yes, right,
- 8:43Speaker 1: So this applies for everybody, whether you're a Christian or not.
- 8:47Speaker 1: But we as believers, we have man, we have not
- 8:52Speaker 1: a clue, we have the way to handle disputes according
- 8:56Speaker 1: to our Lord. And I will say to the Lord
- 8:58Speaker 1: Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen, tells us plainly, if how
- 9:02Speaker 1: to handle it, and when somebody handles it according to
- 9:06Speaker 1: how the Lord handles it, the other side should receive
- 9:11Speaker 1: that right. Other sides should receive that especially. I believe
- 9:15Speaker 1: this is I believe the Lord was talking to us believers,
- 9:19Speaker 1: especially as believers. We should be able to come to
- 9:22Speaker 1: the table, Amen, and handle disputes the way the Lord
- 9:26Speaker 1: wants us to handle disputes. It's amazing right that we
- 9:31Speaker 1: are in a world that doesn't know how to handle disputes,
- 9:35Speaker 1: the kingdom of this world, where we're not all this world.
- 9:40Speaker 1: We are in this world and the system of this world.
- 9:43Speaker 1: That's why you don't hear me or emphasize on anything
- 9:48Speaker 1: world system, world current events and all that. I gonna
- 9:50Speaker 1: argue over governmental issues. I'm not why, cause it's a
- 9:54Speaker 1: world system that's broken needs to be fixed. We have
- 9:58Speaker 1: a kingdom. We're in a kingdom. Amen, Let's talk kingdom
- 10:02Speaker 1: over the Kingdom of this world is not going to work.
- 10:06Speaker 1: But the Kingdom of our God, Amen, It's perfect. The
- 10:09Speaker 1: Kingdom of our God is full of peace. And grace
- 10:12Speaker 1: and mercy. The Kingdom of our God has all authority
- 10:14Speaker 1: and reign because we have the King of Kings and
- 10:17Speaker 1: the Lord of Lords governing over it. So if we
- 10:21Speaker 1: want to debate over you know, governmental things and why
- 10:26Speaker 1: this president of this and you know Israel all this
- 10:29Speaker 1: other stuff that's going on around the world, we pray
- 10:33Speaker 1: as believers, Amen, for peace, the peace of Jerusalem and
- 10:36Speaker 1: peace of God's people, not over political issues. There's Christians
- 10:42Speaker 1: and politics. Absolutely, Amen, that's good. But how do we
- 10:47Speaker 1: handle disputes. Are we going to handle disputes according to
- 10:51Speaker 1: the world's system or we're going to handle disputes according
- 10:53Speaker 1: to the kingdom principles of God? Think about it? Is
- 10:57Speaker 1: your choice, right, Amen, I suggest us that we handle
- 11:01Speaker 1: it the way the Lord wants us to handle it.
- 11:04Speaker 1: Just me. I'm just saying how to handle disputes today
- 11:07Speaker 1: in the morning, Devo. Let's get to the scripture. Amen.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Matthew eighteen, verse number fifteen. This is the Lord, our Lord,
- 11:19Speaker 1: my Lord speaking. If your brother sends right, So this
- 11:26Speaker 1: is I believe the Lord is talking unto his people.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I believe the Lord is talking speaking universal truth, but
- 11:35Speaker 1: he's also speaking to his people go and show him
- 11:39Speaker 1: his fault in private, right, not on the internet. In private.
- 11:46Speaker 1: If he listens and pays attention to you, you have
- 11:53Speaker 1: one back of your brother. And I know for me,
- 11:57Speaker 1: if I'm angry, if I'm upset, and you approach me
- 12:01Speaker 1: with more nonsense, that's not going to help the situation.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But if I'm angry and I'm upset, and if you
- 12:06Speaker 1: approach me in private, and I listen and I pay attention,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and what you're saying is spirit led and driven by love, grace, mercy.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Because dispute is a dispute right, some money or something
- 12:22Speaker 1: is not agreeing. So when we handle each other, we
- 12:27Speaker 1: listen to each other, pay close attention to each other,
- 12:30Speaker 1: then that's a way entruate to peace over pride, and
- 12:36Speaker 1: we can handle the situation and win back the relationship,
- 12:40Speaker 1: win back our brother, win back our sister, and love.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Sometimes even when we do that, we could peacefully agree
- 12:51Speaker 1: to disagree, and that's okay too. But what's happening with
- 12:55Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus is saying, go to the person right
- 13:00Speaker 1: who is in fault in private. I know the temptation
- 13:05Speaker 1: nowadays is to go online and to do lives and
- 13:09Speaker 1: just blast people that's the temptation. Some people do that
- 13:13Speaker 1: because they're following the algorithm. Some people do that because
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's bringing financial gain to their ministry online. Amen. I
- 13:23Speaker 1: choose to bow out and not be involved in none
- 13:26Speaker 1: of that. But some people do it like that. So
- 13:28Speaker 1: who am I to judge. I'm just saying, if we
- 13:30Speaker 1: handle it the way the Lord Jesus told us to
- 13:33Speaker 1: handle the disputes, there would be a lot less internet
- 13:37Speaker 1: thugs out there. It'd be a lot less online. You
- 13:43Speaker 1: call it beef if you want to call it like that, Amen,
- 13:49Speaker 1: And a lot more people, although they might not see
- 13:53Speaker 1: your video hear your podcast because they're not interested in
- 13:58Speaker 1: peaceful things like this, interested in drama. Although you get
- 14:02Speaker 1: less clicks, less listens, less likes, less subscribers. It's okay.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You're following the mandate. You're following the king of king
- 14:11Speaker 1: and lord of lords. You're following how God a man
- 14:14Speaker 1: wants us to operate and move and be. It's more important,
- 14:18Speaker 1: right than fame, clicks, fortune, Amen, subscribers, It's a for me.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I'll be tempted a lot to just like I'm gonna
- 14:27Speaker 1: go live and I'm gonna say what I gotta say,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep it real and I'm gonna do this
- 14:32Speaker 1: X y Z. And then the Holy Spirit God says,
- 14:34Speaker 1: is that the right way to do it? That's is
- 14:36Speaker 1: that how the spirit is leading me to do something?
- 14:39Speaker 1: Or is that my emotions and that's my flesh just
- 14:42Speaker 1: wanted to get things going me. Men? So how many
- 14:45Speaker 1: people struggle with that? I've been a very peaceful person
- 14:50Speaker 1: since God touched my heart and my life, before Jesus
- 14:53Speaker 1: touched my heart and my life, very angry, green light
- 14:57Speaker 1: all the time, ready to go. Things were on site
- 15:01Speaker 1: a lot of times. Amen. It was a process. I'm
- 15:04Speaker 1: still being processed through the peace over pride situation. But
- 15:10Speaker 1: I'm living out how God wants me to live. I
- 15:12Speaker 1: believe according to his word. If I don't have his
- 15:16Speaker 1: word as my guide, if I don't have his word
- 15:21Speaker 1: as the way I handle disputes, I'm just going to
- 15:24Speaker 1: go right back into my old bag and take those
- 15:26Speaker 1: things out of my old bag. Amen, it's not going
- 15:29Speaker 1: to be good for anyone. I'm old fans. Speak directly,
- 15:35Speaker 1: Speak respectfully to the person involved, don't speak to others
- 15:41Speaker 1: about them, Speak directly to the person involved. Sometimes the
- 15:45Speaker 1: frustration is this people will be like I did what
- 15:49Speaker 1: the Lord told me to do. I'm trying to handle
- 15:51Speaker 1: this peacefully, and the other person's not receiving. The other
- 15:54Speaker 1: person's not listening. The other person is, you know, ignoring
- 15:59Speaker 1: that you're doing when thing's right. We're only responsible for
- 16:03Speaker 1: how we respond, Amen. We're only responsible for how we
- 16:07Speaker 1: respond if you do it according to how Jesus wants
- 16:10Speaker 1: you to do it. Amen. We can follow it up
- 16:13Speaker 1: with the scripture be at peace with the possible, Paul said,
- 16:17Speaker 1: with all people, as long as it considers you like,
- 16:21Speaker 1: speak the truth and love brother or sister's sins, go
- 16:26Speaker 1: and point out their fault just between the two of you,
- 16:30Speaker 1: right the way the Lord Jesus says. Let me get
- 16:34Speaker 1: to that scripture that I'm trying to say, Romans twelve eighteen.
- 16:41Speaker 1: If it is possible, as far as it depends on
- 16:46Speaker 1: you see that live at peace with everyone. So we
- 16:52Speaker 1: don't have a great example in the world's system for
- 16:56Speaker 1: people living at peace with everyone, so called peaceful religions
- 17:01Speaker 1: right out there that are not. It's not it either
- 17:07Speaker 1: to be honest, right, We've got to be honest with
- 17:10Speaker 1: how we're seeing things. Scripture I believe is very honest.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Believe the scripture is like a mirah, and we see
- 17:19Speaker 1: ourselves in a scripture and we like, are we holding
- 17:22Speaker 1: up so what the scripture is saying? Or are we
- 17:24Speaker 1: just doing what our flesh wants to do. I want
- 17:28Speaker 1: to be right all the time. You want to be
- 17:30Speaker 1: right all the time. We're going to settle this in
- 17:34Speaker 1: different ways, right, that could be very dangerous. I'm just saying,
- 17:40Speaker 1: if you need counsel, we should be involving wise counsel
- 17:45Speaker 1: in all our disputes, right, involving If the situation don't change,
- 17:53Speaker 1: bring in a mature believer, bring in maybe a church
- 17:57Speaker 1: leader for help, bring in some one, and that could
- 18:01Speaker 1: really rightfully divide the word, Amen, because if it ain't
- 18:05Speaker 1: the word inside this way of handling dispute, then we're
- 18:09Speaker 1: handling things the wrong way. Brother Frank, I see you.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Good morning, God bless you. Amen. Good morning brother Sam
- 18:15Speaker 1: and your fam, Sam and your family, Hope everything is
- 18:19Speaker 1: well and blessed with you guys, Miss you, ay man,
- 18:22Speaker 1: miss you as well. Amen. Everything seems to be okay
- 18:26Speaker 1: on this end. Amen, Hopefully everything's okay. And thank you
- 18:29Speaker 1: so much for your concern and for coming through to
- 18:33Speaker 1: the morning Devo. Seek peace and unity. People are seeking
- 18:40Speaker 1: a lot of things, but how many people are seeking
- 18:42Speaker 1: peace and unity? I'm busy, you're busy. A lot of
- 18:48Speaker 1: people are busy. I was listening to a podcast and
- 18:51Speaker 1: a lady she did a wordplay on the word business.
- 18:55Speaker 1: She called it if you're a busyness owner. See that
- 18:59Speaker 1: a bit. Not a business owner, but a busyness owner.
- 19:02Speaker 1: She said, be careful with being busy. Then when you're
- 19:06Speaker 1: too busy, you're not listening well, you're not understanding your position,
- 19:12Speaker 1: your authority. You're not doing things according to how God
- 19:16Speaker 1: wants to do. You're doing things according to how others
- 19:18Speaker 1: are doing You ever looked at a person who maybe
- 19:22Speaker 1: is a preacher, evangelist, prophet, apostle, a passive teacher that
- 19:26Speaker 1: sounds literally like someone else. Because you know the person,
- 19:32Speaker 1: you be like, why is that person talking like that?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Then you realize that the person is heavily influenced by
- 19:37Speaker 1: another evangelist, passive teacher, prophet apostle, right, And they said, oh,
- 19:45Speaker 1: that's why, because they're really focusing on someone else's way
- 19:50Speaker 1: and style of preaching or doing things, and they're so
- 19:54Speaker 1: in tune with that person or that minister or that
- 19:57Speaker 1: ministry that they starting to sound that way. You ever
- 19:59Speaker 1: saw that that's busyness, Hey man, that's not the kingdom business.
- 20:05Speaker 1: That's the kingdom busyness. And you're too busy focusing on
- 20:10Speaker 1: another person's way of living instead of focusing on the
- 20:14Speaker 1: way the Lord wants us to live. We see that
- 20:16Speaker 1: could happen to anybody. To be honest, a man, for
- 20:19Speaker 1: years and years, I was following an evangelist, very popular evangelist.
- 20:25Speaker 1: He went to be with the Lord a couple of
- 20:28Speaker 1: years back. And although I wasn't trying to sound like him,
- 20:34Speaker 1: but he was into apologetics. He was contending for the faith.
- 20:38Speaker 1: He would go to these big events and present the
- 20:43Speaker 1: gospel message. Clearly he was an intellect though I'm not
- 20:47Speaker 1: an intellect, But what I was learning from him is
- 20:50Speaker 1: certain words, his demeanor. And I was in those spaces
- 20:54Speaker 1: where we were debating. This is way back. We were debating,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and I was trying my best to mimic the person
- 21:02Speaker 1: that I was following. Amen, But it wasn't me. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: was trying to be like somebody else. So anybody could
- 21:12Speaker 1: fall into that. But stay focused on Jesus. If you
- 21:16Speaker 1: want to be like somebody. I suggest you want to
- 21:19Speaker 1: be like Jesus. I suggest you be like the one
- 21:22Speaker 1: who came and conquered sin and death. Let you be
- 21:26Speaker 1: like the one that is called the Prince of Peace.
- 21:29Speaker 1: That you be like the one who is called Wonderful
- 21:31Speaker 1: counselor that you will be like the one who gave
- 21:35Speaker 1: us this word of how to handle disputes, the Lord
- 21:38Speaker 1: Jesus himself. Ultimately we have to let God be the judge.
- 21:46Speaker 1: You're having a dispute, disagreement, argument that could lead to
- 21:51Speaker 1: something other than God's will. Ultimately we have to let
- 21:57Speaker 1: God be the judge at that point. Right, do not
- 22:00Speaker 1: take revenge, for it is written it is mine to avenge.
- 22:04Speaker 1: I ruh will paid, says the Lord Romans twelve nineteen.
- 22:08Speaker 1: You're not responsible for changing someone's heart. God is responsible,
- 22:15Speaker 1: by way of His Holy Spirit, were changing somebody's heart. Right,
- 22:23Speaker 1: So that's why if God is a judge and we
- 22:26Speaker 1: hit out all the time, well, you can't judge me.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Only God can judge me, and he will. But when
- 22:30Speaker 1: we're having a dispute, a disagreement, when we're having a
- 22:33Speaker 1: heated conversation, we're passionate, we're intense. Amen let God be
- 22:38Speaker 1: the judge of what's being said. That's why we don't
- 22:42Speaker 1: invite wise counsel. If the resolution doesn't come through, you know,
- 22:48Speaker 1: according to how God wants it to come. Bring a
- 22:50Speaker 1: mature and believer in. Bring somebody who who knows the Word,
- 22:55Speaker 1: who's filled with the Holy Spirit God to help us
- 22:58Speaker 1: resolve the dispute, Jesus said. But if they will not listen,
- 23:02Speaker 1: take one or two others along. Matthew eighteen sixteen. The
- 23:08Speaker 1: Lord knew, and he still knows that when his people
- 23:14Speaker 1: have a dispute, if we're not doing it according to
- 23:17Speaker 1: how He wants us do it to do it, we're
- 23:20Speaker 1: not gonna see the problem issue, disagreement resolved according to
- 23:25Speaker 1: His will. We're gonna He's gonna see us just fighting, arguing,
- 23:31Speaker 1: handling disputes according to how we want to. I want
- 23:34Speaker 1: to win, You want to win. So we're just gonna
- 23:38Speaker 1: just hash it out. We want to hash out things
- 23:42Speaker 1: between one another. And if it's not the way God
- 23:46Speaker 1: wants us to do it, amen, it's gonna get ugly.
- 23:51Speaker 1: This point blank period. Forgive even if the other person
- 23:56Speaker 1: doesn't apologize, right and imagine that that person didn't apologize
- 24:03Speaker 1: so I'm not going to forgive him. Yeah, I went
- 24:06Speaker 1: down that road a couple of times. Didn't work out.
- 24:08Speaker 1: What about you? Does that work out when you go
- 24:11Speaker 1: down that way? Forgiveness is not about excusing the wrong.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Forgiveness is about releasing the burden. Want to release yourself
- 24:22Speaker 1: and release the burden. You feel the tension when you
- 24:25Speaker 1: have aught against someone else, or there's a dispute going
- 24:28Speaker 1: on and it's unresolved. You could feel the tension. Amen
- 24:31Speaker 1: forgive as the Lord forgave you collagns. Three thirteen. That's
- 24:36Speaker 1: an ouch moment right for those who are in dispute
- 24:40Speaker 1: right now. It could be husband to wife, it could
- 24:44Speaker 1: be father daughter, it could be father's son, mother's daughter,
- 24:48Speaker 1: mother's son, family, church leadership, membership, whatever the case may be. Whatever,
- 24:55Speaker 1: just dispute is. If you don't see, well this person,
- 25:00Speaker 1: some better apologize. And if they don't apologize, I'm gonna
- 25:03Speaker 1: keep it moving and we're not gonna talk to more
- 25:06Speaker 1: that golly forgive even if they don't apologize. That's why
- 25:13Speaker 1: we need me. I listen, man, I try to practice this.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Quick to listen, slow to speak. I'll be listening. I'll
- 25:23Speaker 1: be like, let me hear. Even if I'm not liking
- 25:26Speaker 1: when I'm hearing, let me listen. Sooner or later. You know,
- 25:29Speaker 1: when people are angry, let them talk, because sooner or
- 25:33Speaker 1: later they're gonna speak something out that you could grab
- 25:35Speaker 1: them like, oh that's the issue, because it might not
- 25:38Speaker 1: be what I was thinking. Then you'll hear. Listen to understand,
- 25:42Speaker 1: not just to reply. Say that again, Listen to understand,
- 25:46Speaker 1: not just to reply. Don't let things escalate when people
- 25:51Speaker 1: are feeling unheard James one, nineteen. Everyone should be quick
- 25:56Speaker 1: to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
- 25:59Speaker 1: All all over the scriptures, but most importly what Jesus
- 26:02Speaker 1: said a man of how to handle disputes should be
- 26:05Speaker 1: the way we should be operating. Matthew eighteen. Read the
- 26:09Speaker 1: whole chapter for yourself. Amount of time I can see
- 26:12Speaker 1: to pray for you and your family, please play. Pray
- 26:14Speaker 1: for me and my family as we're traveling and we're
- 26:16Speaker 1: doing things this summer and this week. God bless you
- 26:23Speaker 1: all though. Got to keep you all and remember always
- 26:25Speaker 1: that God is good. I'm out peace,
