- 1:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:04SPEAKER_07: It's funny.
- 1:05SPEAKER_07: I I guess I never Maine is, you know, they they say you can fit how many states can you fit in Maine?
- 1:12SPEAKER_07: How how many like Rhode Islands?
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Rhode Island, Delaware, Connecticut.
- 1:17SPEAKER_07: I think that's why I wonder if Rhode Island has more than one area code.
- 1:22SPEAKER_07: No, I'm probably sure I'm pretty sure it's just the one.
- 1:25SPEAKER_07: Maine only has one.
- 1:26SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:27SPEAKER_07: There are other places that have more than one.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I don't remember.
- 1:30SPEAKER_07: Is it just because it's so big?
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:32SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, like New York City itself's probably at like 12.
- 1:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_03: You know, so.
- 1:37SPEAKER_07: Anyway.
- 1:37SPEAKER_07: I can't believe I started that line of conversation.
- 1:40SPEAKER_07: That was really dumb.
- 1:41SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 1:42SPEAKER_07: It was interesting.
- 1:44SPEAKER_07: I'm done.
- 1:44SPEAKER_07: How how often do we talk about area codes?
- 1:46SPEAKER_07: Hey, you know what my my daughter's doing right now?
- 1:49SPEAKER_07: She's upstairs watching a movie.
- 1:50SPEAKER_07: You know what movie?
- 1:51SPEAKER_07: Strange brew.
- 1:52SPEAKER_07: No.
- 1:54SPEAKER_05: That would be awesome.
- 1:55SPEAKER_05: She's 10.
- 1:56SPEAKER_05: So she's the one for strange brew.
- 1:58SPEAKER_05: We watched it when we were 10.
- 1:59SPEAKER_05: I know, but that's that's different.
- 2:01SPEAKER_10: I mean, she's a girl.
- 2:03SPEAKER_07: Um, she won't get it.
- 2:04SPEAKER_07: She won't totally not get it.
- 2:06SPEAKER_07: No, uh, she's she asked me, she said, Dad, can I and you know, we're we're, you know, those strange parents uh in 2024 who um actually parent and protect our kids from things, you know, or try to anyway.
- 2:24SPEAKER_07: Um she's ten and she has not watched any Marvel movies.
- 2:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
- 2:30SPEAKER_07: Which is surprising to all her friends because they've all seen all of them.
- 2:33SPEAKER_07: Well, I'm sure, yeah.
- 2:34SPEAKER_07: So anyway, she says, you know, Dad, can I is there any Marvel movie that I can watch?
- 2:40SPEAKER_07: And I said, not Deadpool.
- 2:43SPEAKER_07: No God.
- 2:46SPEAKER_07: You know that I watched the first Deadpool and I couldn't get all the way through it.
- 2:49SPEAKER_07: Really?
- 2:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it was even it was even harsh for me.
- 2:52SPEAKER_07: Actually, that's not true.
- 2:53SPEAKER_07: I did get all the way through it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_07: But I I I turned to my wife and I said, There's no way our children will ever watch this movie.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: You should watch the censored one, the second one.
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:02SPEAKER_03: The one he did with Fred Savage.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: I I saw He actually does like a it was a Christmas version and it's it's PG 13.
- 3:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:09SPEAKER_03: So it's actually cleaned up a lot.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I saw it.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: So it's actually that's actually pretty good.
- 3:13SPEAKER_07: I saw the promo for it where you saw it's from the Princess Bride.
- 3:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:17SPEAKER_07: Um and I haven't seen I still haven't seen the second one.
- 3:20SPEAKER_07: You know.
- 3:21SPEAKER_07: So anyway, um, she says, is there any Marvel movie that I could watch?
- 3:24SPEAKER_07: And I'm thinking to myself, is there?
- 3:27SPEAKER_07: Um because I, you know, probably not Iron Man.
- 3:31SPEAKER_07: Captain Captain.
- 3:32SPEAKER_07: Well, which one?
- 3:34SPEAKER_07: Which one what?
- 3:34SPEAKER_07: Which Iron Man.
- 3:35SPEAKER_07: Well, you want to start the first one.
- 3:37SPEAKER_07: I don't want to start out of sequence.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: Well, she could watch the first Iron Man.
- 3:41SPEAKER_03: That wasn't that wasn't bad.
- 3:42SPEAKER_07: You think so?
- 3:42SPEAKER_07: I don't I don't know.
- 3:44SPEAKER_07: There was no, there were some things where he's like in bed with a woman and oh yeah, yeah.
- 3:50SPEAKER_07: It's definitely PG 13.
- 3:52SPEAKER_03: Actually, Captain America.
- 3:53SPEAKER_07: That's what I was thinking.
- 3:53SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:54SPEAKER_07: Was Captain America.
- 3:55SPEAKER_07: The first Avenger movie, yeah.
- 3:56SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 3:56SPEAKER_07: And uh I mean there's some scary things in there, but not really.
- 3:59SPEAKER_07: Yeah, nothing terrible.
- 4:00SPEAKER_07: Nothing real scary.
- 4:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:01SPEAKER_07: But I think uh what's his name with the the face there?
- 4:03SPEAKER_07: The the um Oh the bad guy the bad guy.
- 4:06SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:07SPEAKER_07: Red red uh red uh Red something.
- 4:11SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 4:11SPEAKER_07: Red skull.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: No, red skull.
- 4:12SPEAKER_07: Red skull, yes.
- 4:13SPEAKER_07: Is it yeah?
- 4:14SPEAKER_07: Uh that might scare her.
- 4:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, maybe she's she's she's kind of she's sensitive.
- 4:18SPEAKER_07: Princess Bride scared her.
- 4:20SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah, that's right.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they did say that.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:22SPEAKER_07: So she can't handle Princess Bride.
- 4:24SPEAKER_07: She's not gonna handle that.
- 4:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 4:26SPEAKER_07: So anyway, so is there any superhero movie I could watch?
- 4:29SPEAKER_07: I was like, well, she's like, could I watch Superman?
- 4:32SPEAKER_07: I'm like, Yes, you can.
- 4:34SPEAKER_07: Actually, yeah.
- 4:35SPEAKER_07: So she's up there watching Christopher Reeve.
- 4:37SPEAKER_07: Oh, the Christopher Reeves.
- 4:39SPEAKER_07: Yeah, she could watch those.
- 4:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:40SPEAKER_07: That was totally cool.
- 4:42SPEAKER_07: I started watching it with her, but you know, uh I that's is that me?
- 4:48SPEAKER_07: I thought I turned my phone off.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's not me, because I don't have a thing.
- 4:51SPEAKER_07: Oh no, it's a little bit more than a little bit.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: Well, I was thinking over my you could almost watch the uh for the Henry Cavill um.
- 4:58SPEAKER_03: I don't remember that one.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: It was actually really good.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and there's nothing bad in that one.
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:02SPEAKER_07: Well, I anyway, I started her on it, but I you know, watching a movie with my children, and I think even children these days, is so frustrating.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: Because children are frustrating?
- 5:15SPEAKER_07: Watching a movie with them is frustrating.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: Okay, yeah.
- 5:18SPEAKER_07: Because and I and uh you know, you can call me an old fogie if you want to, but you are an old fogey.
- 5:23SPEAKER_07: It's because But I'm older than you, so I'm an older fogey.
- 5:26SPEAKER_07: It's because they ha their devices.
- 5:30SPEAKER_07: Oh, right.
- 5:31SPEAKER_07: Their attention span is just I mean, I guarantee you it's ADD.
- 5:38SPEAKER_07: You know, uh because she's like I'm crashing your head.
- 5:42SPEAKER_07: We start the movie.
- 5:44SPEAKER_07: Why is that d why you know, why why did the planet explode?
- 5:48SPEAKER_07: Why don't you listen?
- 5:50SPEAKER_07: Why don't you watch the movie?
- 5:51SPEAKER_07: You'll find out.
- 5:51SPEAKER_07: Yeah, right.
- 5:53SPEAKER_07: Learn here, listen to the story.
- 5:56SPEAKER_07: Is that his dad?
- 5:58SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 5:59SPEAKER_07: She's asking all these questions.
- 6:01SPEAKER_07: Would you just watch it?
- 6:02SPEAKER_07: And then mom comes home.
- 6:04SPEAKER_07: Mom! And goes, she goes out in the kitchen.
- 6:07SPEAKER_07: What did you get?
- 6:08SPEAKER_07: Uh I'm gonna pause this so you can watch it.
- 6:13SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 6:15SPEAKER_07: And then she comes back and okay, I'm here.
- 6:17SPEAKER_07: On pause.
- 6:18SPEAKER_07: I mean, you know, I haven't seen the movie in a long time.
- 6:20SPEAKER_07: I'm like, okay, so this is the part where, you know.
- 6:23SPEAKER_07: And then she starts talking to one of her brothers.
- 6:25SPEAKER_05: I'm like, are you gonna watch this movie?
- 6:28SPEAKER_05: Are you gonna listen?
- 6:31SPEAKER_07: And it was just so frustrating.
- 6:33SPEAKER_07: And I you know, even my older kids are the same way.
- 6:35SPEAKER_07: I can't my older kids have the Teresa gene.
- 6:40SPEAKER_07: And when I say, How's your podcast going with her, by the way?
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's going great.
- 6:43SPEAKER_03: Hey Teresa, how's it going?
- 6:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I know.
- 6:47SPEAKER_07: It's so silly.
- 6:49SPEAKER_07: It's so silly.
- 6:50SPEAKER_07: Watching a movie with my wife is frustrating because well, A, number one, she falls asleep, she never gets through it.
- 6:58SPEAKER_07: But B she's like she she she took one fiction and film class in college, and now she predicts every single movie.
- 7:09SPEAKER_07: You know, it's like the predicts the ending.
- 7:11SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay.
- 7:11SPEAKER_07: And spoils it.
- 7:12SPEAKER_07: You know, it's like he's gonna do this and then he's gonna do this, and then he's she's gonna marry him, and blah blah blah.
- 7:17SPEAKER_07: I'm like Well, I don't have to watch it now.
- 7:21SPEAKER_07: You know, not that that is always what happens, but she gets bored.
- 7:25SPEAKER_07: She's this is the story, it's predictable, and then falls asleep.
- 7:28SPEAKER_07: Oh.
- 7:29SPEAKER_07: And my my Well, it saves her time.
- 7:32SPEAKER_07: My older kids are that way too.
- 7:33SPEAKER_07: You know, they're like, Well, he's gonna do this and he's gonna do that.
- 7:36SPEAKER_07: And I'm like, would you just watch the movie?
- 7:39SPEAKER_07: Please.
- 7:41SPEAKER_07: You know, I like to be told the story.
- 7:44SPEAKER_07: I like to let it unfold.
- 7:47SPEAKER_07: Maybe I'm old yeah, I'm an old fogey.
- 7:49SPEAKER_03: Whatever.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, I like to see her watch uh usual suspects and figure that one out.
- 7:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, I think I I'm not sure if she's gonna be able to get it.
- 7:57SPEAKER_03: She wouldn't see that one.
- 7:58SPEAKER_07: I'm not sure if she's seen that one or not.
- 8:00SPEAKER_07: I seem to think she has.
- 8:01SPEAKER_07: It was a long time ago.
- 8:02SPEAKER_03: Well, it may be maybe, but I had to watch that one like the first time I watched it, I had to rewind it.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's keyword rewind.
- 8:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:10SPEAKER_03: And then I had to watch it again immediately.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:13SPEAKER_03: Because there was so much I missed after the ending.
- 8:16SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 8:16SPEAKER_07: So it was well done.
- 8:17SPEAKER_07: Great movie.
- 8:18SPEAKER_07: It was a great movie.
- 8:19SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 8:20SPEAKER_07: Um I went to the movies um a couple days ago with my daughter.
- 8:25SPEAKER_07: Uh watching a movie in the theater is a little different with her, which is that is.
- 8:29SPEAKER_03: Did you watch that purple crayon movie?
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: So it's with the Shazam guy, right?
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:35SPEAKER_07: So it started out kind of just really dumb.
- 8:38SPEAKER_07: Um the acting, I mean, was overdone.
- 8:42SPEAKER_07: And well, it's a kid's movie, right?
- 8:44SPEAKER_07: It is.
- 8:44SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 8:45SPEAKER_07: But I mean, it's like it it's you have to suspend reality a little bit, obviously.
- 8:50SPEAKER_07: Oh, sure.
- 8:52SPEAKER_07: But the b very beginning of the movie is just kind of dumb.
- 8:58SPEAKER_07: And and the way it happens, but it grows on you.
- 9:02SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 9:03SPEAKER_07: And it gets pretty good.
- 9:06SPEAKER_07: You know, it's a cute movie.
- 9:08SPEAKER_07: Um very elf-like.
- 9:11SPEAKER_07: Oh, really?
- 9:12SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 9:12SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 9:12SPEAKER_07: Zoe Deschanel's in it.
- 9:14SPEAKER_07: Well, there you go.
- 9:15SPEAKER_07: But there's your connection.
- 9:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 9:17SPEAKER_07: But it's I laughed out loud.
- 9:19SPEAKER_07: I mean, it was there was a couple things that were that were really funny, and then there was some surprising things.
- 9:24SPEAKER_07: So I enjoyed it.
- 9:26SPEAKER_07: Harold and the purple crayon is what we're called.
- 9:27SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 9:27SPEAKER_07: What we're talking about.
- 9:28SPEAKER_07: So yeah, Harold and the Purple Crayon.
- 9:31SPEAKER_07: It was funny because I I walked into the theater and uh he with my with my 10-year-old daughter, and Dow goes, Two for Deadpool.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: Of course he would.
- 9:43SPEAKER_07: I was like, nope, sorry.
- 9:46SPEAKER_07: The funny thing is, is so funny.
- 9:49SPEAKER_07: My my son went with his girlfriend as well.
- 9:52SPEAKER_07: Which which son?
- 9:53SPEAKER_07: Uh Eli and his his girlfriend.
- 9:55SPEAKER_07: And so um he went to see It Ends With Us, but there was some um he was distraught there for a while because he found out that it was rated R.
- 10:08SPEAKER_07: And he's 16.
- 10:10SPEAKER_07: Right?
- 10:11SPEAKER_07: So he thought, I can't go in, they're not gonna let me in.
- 10:15SPEAKER_07: And and I looked it up on online and it says it's PG 13.
- 10:21SPEAKER_07: And then I went to the Braden's Facebook page and they have it as R.
- 10:25SPEAKER_07: So it's like, would you do you you know that guy?
- 10:29SPEAKER_07: I'm like, yes, I do.
- 10:30SPEAKER_07: He said, Would you message him and see if he'd let us in?
- 10:35SPEAKER_07: So I messaged Tao.
- 10:36SPEAKER_07: This was like it's I don't know, just before six o'clock.
- 10:39SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_07: And I said, I said, my Eli wants to take his girlfriend to the movie.
- 10:44SPEAKER_07: Uh it ends with us.
- 10:45SPEAKER_07: Uh online it says it's PG 13.
- 10:47SPEAKER_07: You got it rated as R.
- 10:49SPEAKER_07: Do you think they could get in?
- 10:52SPEAKER_07: And he messages back probably about 20 minutes later.
- 10:55SPEAKER_07: Oh crap.
- 10:56SPEAKER_07: Marlene put that up there.
- 10:58SPEAKER_07: It's PG 13.
- 11:02SPEAKER_07: He says, I usually check those things, but I didn't check that one.
- 11:06SPEAKER_07: So you know, crisis averted.
- 11:08SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 11:09SPEAKER_07: They got to go see it.
- 11:10SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 11:10SPEAKER_07: So that's hilarious.
- 11:12SPEAKER_07: That was yeah, that was that was my weekend.
- 11:14SPEAKER_07: So um not much happening in the way of rock and roll news or music news, to be honest with you.
- 11:21SPEAKER_07: Not really.
- 11:22SPEAKER_07: Journey or suing themselves again.
- 11:23SPEAKER_03: Well, that's that's that's that's par for the course.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, I just whatever.
- 11:27SPEAKER_03: They put the fun in dysfunctional.
- 11:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they do.
- 11:30SPEAKER_07: Um, you know, other than that, just you know, kind of hyping things up, and there's not really nothing to to talk about that's worth talking about.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: Well, we'll close it out.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: Right, I've been O'Brien.
- 11:43SPEAKER_07: Episode 207.
- 11:44SPEAKER_07: Did you say I've been O'Brien?
- 11:45SPEAKER_07: I've been O'Brien.
- 11:48SPEAKER_07: Uh so I thought we'd do uh this day in rock history.
- 11:50SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 11:51SPEAKER_07: Sounds like a plan.
- 11:52SPEAKER_07: First, before we do some events in history, we could talk about uh birthdays.
- 11:57SPEAKER_07: Is that is that David Coverdale, I see?
- 11:59SPEAKER_07: That is David Coverdale.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: Uh, I thought I recognized I thought I recognized that uh that that stance.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, just like, oh, I'm tough.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: No, you're not.
- 12:08SPEAKER_07: Because you're David Coverdale.
- 12:10SPEAKER_07: Today, and the reason I'm saying today is because this is going to drop on Thursday.
- 12:13SPEAKER_07: Correct.
- 12:14SPEAKER_07: So this is the fifteenth of August.
- 12:18SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 12:18SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 12:19SPEAKER_07: We've time traveled.
- 12:20SPEAKER_07: It is the 15th of August.
- 12:21SPEAKER_07: Today's Tommy Aldridge's birthday.
- 12:23SPEAKER_07: Ah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_07: White snake.
- 12:24SPEAKER_07: Skeletor himself.
- 12:28SPEAKER_05: Red skull.
- 12:29SPEAKER_05: I'm sorry.
- 12:29SPEAKER_05: That dude.
- 12:31SPEAKER_05: That dude is not handsome.
- 12:33SPEAKER_05: No.
- 12:33SPEAKER_05: No.
- 12:33SPEAKER_05: And but he's been he's looked the same.
- 12:36SPEAKER_05: But he's yeah, he's looked exactly the same old as well.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: I think he's in his 70s now.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: He he looked he looked exactly the same when he was in his 20s.
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: 30s.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: Exactly the same.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: I mean, he's just that skeletor face man.
- 12:47SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 12:47SPEAKER_07: It doesn't say how old he is, but I'm sure he's sure he's in his 70s.

- 28:30SPEAKER_03: It's just silly time.
- 28:32SPEAKER_07: Uh let me look here.
- 28:34SPEAKER_07: Cause I yeah.
- 28:38SPEAKER_07: So uh we could do our mixtape thing.
- 28:42SPEAKER_07: Do you want to do the mixtape thing?
- 28:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, is it too early to do that?
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, a couple weeks ago we were gonna talk about 90 songs.
- 28:49SPEAKER_03: There was a ultimate classic rock.
- 28:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 28:51SPEAKER_03: Do you want to do that?
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: We never did.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: We put it in the notes, but we never did actually talk about it.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Maybe we should do that.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: Can you find it?
- 28:59SPEAKER_07: I'm sure I can find it.
- 29:00SPEAKER_07: Let's do this.
- 29:01SPEAKER_07: Let's while I'm looking for it, let's do our mixtape.
- 29:04SPEAKER_07: So, because we asked the question.

- 29:10SPEAKER_03: I'm just gonna put in.
- 29:11SPEAKER_03: See, I'm gonna be smart today and not put the cover in the box.
- 29:16SPEAKER_03: I'm not usually the look at that.
- 29:18SPEAKER_03: I found it right away.
- 29:19SPEAKER_07: Oh, look at you.
- 29:20SPEAKER_07: Look at you.
- 29:21SPEAKER_07: Fifty songs from the 90s that don't suck.
- 29:23SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 29:24SPEAKER_03: Well, that narrows it down.
- 29:28SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: So we gotta have the winner from last time.
- 29:32SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 29:32SPEAKER_07: I don't remember what last time was.
- 29:34SPEAKER_07: It was the uh favorite hair metal.
- 29:37SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 29:37SPEAKER_07: I said Fallen Angel.
- 29:38SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 29:39SPEAKER_07: Uh oh, and uh that's funny because Cousin Larry, I gotta show you what Cousin Larry uh wrote me.
- 29:45SPEAKER_07: Because he felt the need to qualify his answer, I think.
- 29:48SPEAKER_07: I don't know why, because his answer was fine.
- 29:51SPEAKER_07: Uh let me switch back here.
- 29:53SPEAKER_07: Hold on.
- 29:55SPEAKER_07: Because he I think he picked uh do you remember who he picked?
- 29:59SPEAKER_03: Uh yeah, I'm gonna find it before you do.
- 30:06SPEAKER_07: Metal Health.
- 30:07SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 30:08SPEAKER_07: Okay, this is what he said.
- 30:09SPEAKER_07: Listening to the podcast, Fallen Angel, great choice.
- 30:13SPEAKER_07: I do have to defend my choice of Quiet Riot.
- 30:16SPEAKER_07: They are listed as a hair metal band on the internet, so it must be true.
- 30:20SPEAKER_07: Laugh out loud.
- 30:21SPEAKER_07: And he said he sent me the list the twenty greatest hair band hair metal bands of all time.
- 30:25SPEAKER_07: Poison Bon Jovi, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Warrant, Quiet Riot, Rat.
- 30:31SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:33SPEAKER_07: I I don't think you needed to defend that answer.
- 30:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I think that was a fine answer.
- 30:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 30:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:39SPEAKER_03: Okay, so oh, so we're doing the winner from last week, right?
- 30:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let me find what our lovely and intelligent judge said.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 30:54SPEAKER_03: The winner is.
- 30:55SPEAKER_03: The winner is.
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: First off, who doesn't like poison?
- 31:04SPEAKER_07: Secondly, my that doesn't vote well because I I think I said at the beginning, you know, I don't really like poison.
- 31:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 31:11SPEAKER_03: Secondly, my little metal heart really enjoyed this week's picks.
- 31:15SPEAKER_03: All three were, again, epic and really hard picks.
- 31:18SPEAKER_03: I grew up listening to a lot of poison, and I had to go with Fallen Angel.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: I like her.
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I told you.
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: She's a metalhead.
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 31:25SPEAKER_03: That's awesome.
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: The story is hard and true.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: The guitar is epic, and of course the hair.
- 31:31SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 31:32SPEAKER_03: So you are the winner from perfect.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: Okay, so so this week is the road trip song.
- 31:40SPEAKER_03: Uh Road Trip.
- 31:42SPEAKER_03: Road Trip to Vegas song.
- 31:43SPEAKER_07: Road trip to Vegas.
- 31:44SPEAKER_07: Alright, let me get this one.
- 31:46SPEAKER_03: I'll get uh I'll get Cousin Larry's.
- 31:48SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 31:50SPEAKER_03: Alright, so Cousin Larry said.
- 31:53SPEAKER_03: So a bunch of songs come to mind for this week's question.
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: I'm my going to be 500 miles by the proclaimers is the is the one because it was a cassette tape stuck in the tape deck of Marshall's car on how I met your mother, which is true.
- 32:08SPEAKER_07: That's what he's picking?
- 32:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:09SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 32:10SPEAKER_03: And the gang was stuck listening to it on every road trip.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: Honorable mention is the honorable mention to Life is a Highway by Tom Copper.
- 32:17SPEAKER_07: Oh, that's a good one.
- 32:18SPEAKER_03: I'm a huge ACD fan, as you know, and Sin City came to mind right away.
- 32:22SPEAKER_03: So I will go with that as my choice.
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: So which one?
- 32:25SPEAKER_03: He's going with Sin City by AC DC.
- 32:27SPEAKER_07: Oh, let's just listen to it.
- 32:30SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I mean we know this one well.
- 32:31SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 32:33SPEAKER_07: Okay, so he's going with Sin City.
- 32:34SPEAKER_07: Sin City by AC DC.
- 32:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I mean, come on.
- 33:12SPEAKER_07: I mean honestly, if you're our age, or maybe even a little younger, AC DC is kind of the soundtrack to your life.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: Kinda, yeah.
- 33:23SPEAKER_07: You know?
- 33:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 33:24SPEAKER_07: I mean, whether you like them or not.
- 33:25SPEAKER_03: Even if you did listen to them, they were still there.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:28SPEAKER_03: You know, they were like Reagan and uh you know.
- 33:31SPEAKER_03: Right, like in front of the tapestry.
- 33:32SPEAKER_03: Capit, you know, cabbage patch dolls.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
- 33:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_09: Okay.
- 33:38SPEAKER_07: Do you want to do yours or do you want me to do mine?
- 33:39SPEAKER_07: I can do mine.
- 33:40SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 33:40SPEAKER_07: Do what yours.
- 33:42SPEAKER_03: Bigfoot.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Oh my chicken foot.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: Chicken foot.
- 33:45SPEAKER_03: Yes.

- 34:15SPEAKER_07: Because like where cousin Larry did uh since City, I mean it's Vegas, right?
- 34:20SPEAKER_03: You could have done uh you went with feel and like and like this this is the song where you just you roll down all the windows and you crank it as loud as you possibly can.
- 34:41SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 34:44SPEAKER_07: I I went with with attitude and feel too like like get you get you in the mood.

- 35:31SPEAKER_03: Okay, hold on, it's this one.
- 35:34SPEAKER_07: Remember, it's really like the only one that we like to play on the radio?

- 35:40SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 35:44SPEAKER_07: It's forgiven.
- 35:45SPEAKER_07: You forgive me this one.
- 35:46SPEAKER_07: But but I mean, driving to Vegas.

- 36:57SPEAKER_03: Because I'll always have that song.
- 36:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's a great song.
- 36:59SPEAKER_07: Um so there you go.

- 55:24SPEAKER_07: Uh what do you think of that song, Ed?
- 55:26SPEAKER_07: Yes! Uh it's time to climb the wall of tunes.
- 55:34SPEAKER_07: And while I while I climb the wall, my belly is a little bit more.
- 55:37SPEAKER_07: Oh wait, let's start the music.
- 55:38SPEAKER_07: Start the music.
- 55:42SPEAKER_07: Nah.
- 55:43SPEAKER_07: There it is.
- 55:44SPEAKER_07: Uh while I'm climbing the wall, I'm going to read from A Hard Day's Right.
- 55:49SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 55:50SPEAKER_03: So today's song is off the white album.
- 55:54SPEAKER_03: It's called Sexy Sadie.
- 55:57SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 55:58SPEAKER_03: Fancy.
- 55:59SPEAKER_03: If the kids are up listening, put them to bed.
- 56:03SPEAKER_03: No, I'm just kidding.
- 56:04SPEAKER_03: Ah, because it's not what you think.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: Sexy Sadie appears to be a song about a girl who leads men on, only to make fools of them, but was actually written about the Marishi Maresh Yogi.
- 56:17SPEAKER_03: Who?
- 56:18SPEAKER_03: Whom Yeah, exactly.
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: With whom John had become disillusioned, knowing that he could never record a potentially libelous song about Marishi.
- 56:26SPEAKER_03: He titled it Sexy Sadie.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: But on the demo recording of the track, he let Rip with a string of asseties directed toward the real quarry.
- 56:37SPEAKER_03: There were two reasons why the Beatles decided to leave Ripp Rick Rishakesh.
- 56:43SPEAKER_03: Rishakesh, yes.
- 56:44SPEAKER_03: One was that they had been told that the Maurishi was only after their money, and the other was the rumor going around that he had made a sexual advance to one of the females on the course.
- 56:53SPEAKER_03: Although there was never any concrete evidence behind these accusations, it was enough to unnerve them, and the three Beatles arranged a meeting with the guru where they informed him that they were leaving.
- 57:03SPEAKER_03: Pressed to explain their decision, John reportedly said, quote, Well, if you're so cosmic, you'll know why, unquote.
- 57:10SPEAKER_03: Paul Horn, who remembered them leaving, believes it was partly because they expected too much of the Maurishi, and partly because of the jealousies amongst some hangers on at the camp.
- 57:22SPEAKER_03: These courses were really designed for people who wanted to become teachers themselves and who had a solid background in meditation, Horn says.
- 57:29SPEAKER_03: The Beatles really didn't have the background and experience to be there, and I think they were expecting miracles.
- 57:35SPEAKER_03: George was obviously really interested, but Ringo wasn't into Eastern philosophy at all.
- 57:40SPEAKER_03: John was on his own trip and always skeptical about anything until it had been proven to him.
- 57:45SPEAKER_03: Paul was easygoing, it could have gone either way.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: The big fuss came when there were some people there who were more interested in the Beatles than learning to meditate, and they became hangers-on, continues Horn.
- 57:56SPEAKER_03: There was one girl, a school teacher from New York, who was really into the Beatles, and she started all this crap about Maurishi making passes at her.
- 58:04SPEAKER_03: She told the Beatles this and they got upset about it and left.
- 58:07SPEAKER_03: Basically, there were a lot of rumors, jealousies, and triangles going on, and she got back at the Beatles through saying this about the Mao Rishi.
- 58:15SPEAKER_03: The bottom line, though, is that it was time for them to go home anyway.
- 58:18SPEAKER_03: This is just the catalyst.
- 58:20SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
- 58:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 58:24SPEAKER_09: Justice M would like to everything.
- 58:30SPEAKER_03: Not my favorite Beatles song.
- 58:31SPEAKER_03: No, it's not mine either.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: But well done.
- 58:41SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 58:42SPEAKER_03: Always well done.
- 58:43SPEAKER_07: Always well done.
- 58:44SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 58:45SPEAKER_07: Um, so we're climbing the wall, or we climb I climbed the wall.
- 58:48SPEAKER_07: You climbed the wall.
- 58:49SPEAKER_07: And I have I have an album.
- 58:51SPEAKER_07: Alright.
- 58:52SPEAKER_07: Good for you.
- 58:52SPEAKER_07: So let the guessing commence.
- 58:57SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 59:00SPEAKER_07: Easy peasy.
- 59:02SPEAKER_07: No.
- 59:04SPEAKER_03: Height of popularity.
- 59:06SPEAKER_03: 80s.
- 59:10SPEAKER_03: Iconic songs?
- 59:11SPEAKER_03: Or just kind of like songs.
- 59:13SPEAKER_07: I would say I would I would say iconic songs.
- 59:16SPEAKER_07: I mean, I think they're pretty well known for a couple songs.
- 59:19SPEAKER_03: How many guys in this legend band?
- 59:22SPEAKER_03: You wouldn't ask me that.
- 59:24SPEAKER_07: One, two, three, four, five.
- 59:26SPEAKER_07: Five guys?
- 59:27SPEAKER_07: Five guys.
- 59:29SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 59:29SPEAKER_07: Carroll Smith.
- 59:30SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 59:35SPEAKER_07: The lead singer that is on most of their records is not with them anymore, but he's on his own.
- 59:42SPEAKER_03: That could be so many bands.
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 59:45SPEAKER_03: Uh any virtuosos in the band?
- 59:49SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 59:49SPEAKER_03: No.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 59:52SPEAKER_07: Their biggest hit was a cover.
- 59:55SPEAKER_07: Is it Mr.
- 59:56SPEAKER_07: Big?
- 59:56SPEAKER_07: Nope.
- 59:57SPEAKER_07: Their biggest hit wasn't a cover.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: Just to be with you?
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_03: That they wrote that.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_03: I'm just kidding.
- 1:00:02SPEAKER_03: What was a song was I think they did it.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_03: Oh, they did uh that Kat Stevens song.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_07: Oh, that's true, yeah.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_07: Wild World, but that wasn't.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_07: Um like a hair metal or just hard rock or I I would say they had hair.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_07: They d they definitely had hair.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_07: I would I would say I'm not thinking it was a band of skinheads.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_07: So I I I'm gonna say hair band.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_07: They're playing on the hair stations.
- 1:00:31SPEAKER_07: Uh more bluesy.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_07: But they're it's it's like blues metal.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_07: I guess.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_07: Cinderella?
- 1:00:39SPEAKER_07: No, but right ballpark.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_07: I think.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_03: Peter Pan.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_03: Oh, I'm going for it, oh sad.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_03: Whoa, I know you know so much.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_03: Speaking of Peter Pan.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_03: Were we?
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_03: No, now that I was.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_03: I read something interesting the other day.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_03: If you if you really think about it, Peter Pan is the bad guy, and Captain Hook is the good guy in the story.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_07: Explain.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_03: Well, their theory.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: This is just this.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: This is their theory.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: Peter Pan kidnaps children, you know, for right for every you know?
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_03: And everybody on Captain Hook's ship are rescued children.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_03: And that's why they're always fighting.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: It was an interesting theory.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: I was like, wow.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_03: You know?
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_03: I was like, wow, I never really thought of it that way.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_03: But anyway, back to the story.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: Little side there.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_03: Okay, I need some more hands here.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_07: Um the video for this famous cover song.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_07: One of them married.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_07: It's not a rock line.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_07: It's not a mammal.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_07: I guess I I forgot.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_07: It's been so long.
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_07: Oh, it's great white.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_07: It is great.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_07: It is great white.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_07: Is a great white shark a mammal?
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're they breathe air.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they don't they're not.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_03: Well, wait a minute.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, they don't know.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_03: No, sharks sharks are not mammals.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_03: Right.

- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_03: They don't they don't breathe oxygen.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_03: What's a mammal?
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_03: Whale is a mammal.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_03: That's what I mean.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_03: Dolphins are mammals.
- 1:03:08SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_03: But that's a football team.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_03: A team of mammals.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_03: A team of mammals.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_03: The New England mammals.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_03: So hey.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_03: Who are we playing this weekend?
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_03: The mammals.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_07: The Washington mammals.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_03: Nobody can be offended by that.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_07: So this the cover song, obviously.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_07: We were talking about Bobby Brown was the uh was the woman that married Janie Lane.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_07: She was like a big model back then.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_07: She was in Cherry Pie.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_03: Right, right.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_07: Anyway, it's just funny that I remember that.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they had some songs too.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_07: So uh this is oh, let me show you the the album.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_07: So this is the best of.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_07: I have that album.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_07: Best of Great White.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_07: This is not Great White's uh God.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_07: Greatest hits, I guess.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_07: Because there's another collection that I wish I had because Mr.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_07: Bone is on it.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_07: Mr.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_07: Bone is not on this one.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_07: What?
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I don't think.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_07: That's just silly.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, no, Mr.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_07: Bone's not on that one.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_07: What the freak, man?
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_07: Uh, but you do have so they had a huge hit with this song.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_07: It's an old Ian Hunter song.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_07: And a few years later, well, because they had that six two two albums.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_07: First albums called Once Bitten.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_07: And then you know it's Twice Shy.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_07: So they had a hit with this song, I think off Once Bitten, right?
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_07: Uh or was it on Twice Shy?
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_07: I think it was anyway.
- 1:04:45SPEAKER_07: So then they released this song.
- 1:04:50SPEAKER_03: Call It Rock and Roll, which is kind of the same song, sort of.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's almost the same riff.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_07: Call it Rock and Roll.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_07: Come on, Lady Sugar, let's go rock and roll.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_07: But they had a lot of great songs.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_07: Obviously, they're known for this one.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_07: Rock me.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_07: Rock me.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_07: Let me fast forward here.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_07: Do you get what I meant when I said blues metal?
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_07: You know.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's very bluesy.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_07: Mark Kendall.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_07: Oh, like especially this one.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_07: Mark Kendall, the guitar player.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_07: House of Broken Love.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_07: Great stuff.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_07: And of course they had a couple of ballads.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_07: Angel song.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_07: Yeah, this is a great song.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_07: Great song.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_07: And I'm not gonna play all of it.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_07: Then of course they had Save Your Love.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_01: Save All Your Love.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_07: Great song.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_07: Um And there were some album cuts.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_07: Actually, I don't even know if they were album cuts.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_07: Was Lady Red Light released as a single?
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_07: I don't even think.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_07: It's a great song.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_07: Lady Red Light, Mark Me Tonight.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_07: Um, of course, they had the uh they had this all this momentum and they were going pretty good, and then the incident happened.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_07: A station fire in Rhode Island.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_07: Station was a nightclub in Rhode Island where I mean let's just face it, they made an idiotic move.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm who has pyrotechnics in a club?
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_07: In a in a club where the ceiling is low.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_07: That was just dumb.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_07: Yeah, really dumb.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_07: And a lot of people died.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_07: Yeah, that's an unfortunate thing.
- 1:07:05SPEAKER_07: And they were not the same after that, understandably.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: I mean, I get it.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_07: Uh they're still going.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_07: Um they had, of course, Jack Russell is had his own uh demons that he was dealing with.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_07: A lot of a lot of drug problems and whatever.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_07: But he he was touring as Jack Russell's Great White.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_07: Which I think he just announced recently that he's retiring from the road.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_07: Oh, okay.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_07: Um and and so Great White had um Terry Ilius of XYZ singing for them.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_07: Um they most recently had Mitch Malloy.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_07: Um I'm not sure.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_07: And I don't I don't know who's singing for them now.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_07: I have no idea.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_07: Um but they're still out there.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_07: They're still touring actually.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_03: Still going.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_03: So um there is I have their uh Led Zeppelin tribute album.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_07: Oh so freaking good.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_07: Speaking of that, well, here's their unplug.
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_07: And they do Zeppelin's babe I'm gonna leave you.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_07: Jack Russell sounds almost.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_07: Sounds almost exactly like Robert Plant.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_07: Let me just fast forward.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_07: I mean, if you didn't know.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_02: You know.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna leave Robert Plant.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_07: And when we get when they get get going here.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_07: Hold on.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_02: Uh leave you in the stomach.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_02: Leave you.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_07: Unreal.
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_07: I know.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_07: Uh there was there is also one song on this that is not on this Greatest Hits song or Greatest Hits uh record that I um missed.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_07: Do you remember this song?
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_01: Put 62 gallons in it now.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_01: 64 or whatever I just wrote down.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_01: Just add the 20.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_03: Oh, it sounds like a guy at a gas station.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_03: I don't know what this one.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_03: Do you remember this song?
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_04: We used we used to listen to this.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm a wasted rock ranger.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, wow.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_02: I totally forgot about this, man.
- 1:09:37SPEAKER_02: Find the higher high.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_02: I don't need no inspection.
- 1:09:42SPEAKER_02: All I need is my detection.
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_04: Isn't there a swear in this?
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_04: I don't remember.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_04: I don't remember either, but I remember the song.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_02: I've been doing it since I was dead.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_02: Ever had a dollar to my day.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_02: I got bit all inside my head.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_02: I had pennies with the breakfast toast, waiting with the evening roast, stored it's lots of powder in between.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's gone by that I wasn't drunk or high.
- 1:10:20SPEAKER_02: The only way I keep my strategy.
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_02: From kegger standard, fill my flaming train, half time.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_07: I don't remember it being that like that.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_07: I remember it was about drugs, but I I guess it's kind of boring.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_03: Well, it's pretty much just the same thing over and over again.
