Latest / Dits & Dahs / silence as potent positivity
Transcript
- Sue: I entrusted you listeners to one of my tracks on the Osmoferations playlist that has a duration of just under thirty minutes. It's the entire session that I improvised earlier that day, and instead of splicing it into smaller chunks that end up being a couple minutes in duration, I left the whole creative process intact. And what I'm speaking today is the fact that as a musician, I who learned to improvise, the performance itself of what I was doing, musical notewise and such, is what I'm trained to do. So I it functions and at a level within me that is I won't say I'm on automatic, but it I'm in good form, physically and all that, to do the improvisation. But what really g happens during those moments of silence, internally, I have ended one such improvisational thought. And I'm now preparing the next improvisational thought and making decisions about what it should sound like and what type of arpeggiation might I use so that I have a clean start. And it isn't there then that in those spaces is where you have the most potent energy. And because it's bounded by heard musical segments that are of meant to be happy or positive at the very least, then those spaces are also surrounded by that which is positive. So it's a moment to think about in the silence just how much you is in there and how important that is. And then you recognize where all the other spaces are and and put yourself in there and, you know, build on that. And then the universe is a much happier place for it because after all, it's your contribution into the universe and the fact that you acknowledge that you are the universe that balances everything in such a way That you can go about your life happily so, knowing that you have defended yourself from those who don't understand the meaning of spiritual trespassing either consciously or subconsciously. They won't stop. But at some point, more of us are gonna have to understand the importance of proactively being positive, if only to ensure that someone that we may never meet will never experience that energy by us being a little more positive within ourselves. We don't care who results from feeling our positivity, no. We just know that by doing so, others will feel it and react positively and that's a good result, but it's not our f intended result, I should say. So it's within those spaces. I will aga I will exert them, but I thought the context of the creative process will give you an insight about my mindset. Creatively that is. Enjoy. Thanks for listening. And if you did venture down the 30 minute commitment to my music. I really appreciate you. Whatever commitment you're able to give, I'm grateful.
