- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Yeah, the person on Amazon who ordered dead Body got
- 0:14Speaker 2: it pretty quickly.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I think it was someone who worked there. I don't
- 0:18Speaker 3: know how they died.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Well, what do you, dude, You're not.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Gonna shut down the whole warehouse? No, which you would
- 0:24Speaker 2: shut down that area? You would think, you would think.
- 0:27Speaker 4: But people get really angry if Amazon promises same day delivery.
- 0:31Speaker 4: It doesn't matter.
- 0:31Speaker 2: No snow, no sleep, nor dead bodies get in the
- 0:35Speaker 2: way of Amazon deliveries.
- 0:37Speaker 1: And now handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen, here's
- 0:42Speaker 1: Bill Handle, and.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Good morning, hokday.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Wednesday is April twenty two, as we start yet another day.
- 0:56Speaker 2: This time around, I can actually see Will Colestriver on
- 1:00Speaker 2: the monitors, so I will say good morning, thank you,
- 1:03Speaker 2: Good morning, Bill, Yeah, good morning. And when I can't
- 1:05Speaker 2: see you, you you're not there. You disappear. Sorry, Cono,
- 1:10Speaker 2: good morning, Good morning, Bill and Amy.
- 1:14Speaker 4: You're up just barely okay.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I don't know. How are you feeling?
- 1:20Speaker 2: I you know I did Okay, yesterday was seven and
- 1:23Speaker 2: a half miles we walked. I measured that and it
- 1:27Speaker 2: was I was pretty tired. I went to bed early.
- 1:30Speaker 5: And do you feel okay, you're not getting sick like me.
- 1:33Speaker 4: No, I'm getting not getting sick.
- 1:34Speaker 5: All those hundreds and billions of strollers that we ran
- 1:37Speaker 5: across somebody got mold.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, you know there are hundreds of strollers at one point.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I mean, the diseases that must be flowing through those areas.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It's like a third world country in terms of the diseases.
- 1:50Speaker 5: There has to be nothing in Disneyland looks like a
- 1:53Speaker 5: third world country.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's absolutely true, and there is. And good morning,
- 1:59Speaker 4: good morning.
- 2:00Speaker 2: And the loveliest said of Lord Amy said, well yeah,
- 2:04Speaker 2: and Neil.
- 2:05Speaker 4: You're the last last one.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Jeez, Louise.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Okay, a couple of things we're going to cover today.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yesterday I said that I didn't think the president could
- 2:16Speaker 2: not stop another ceasefire. I mean he he would never
- 2:21Speaker 2: have another ceasefire unless he was going to have another ceasefire.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Extend the ceasefire. And I said, yeah, that's probably going
- 2:29Speaker 2: to happen. What did he do, of course, extended it. Now,
- 2:32Speaker 2: this one's indefinitely not because he doesn't want to go
- 2:37Speaker 2: have a full blown war, is because the president of
- 2:40Speaker 2: Pakistan asked him please don't resume the war. So at
- 2:45Speaker 2: this point the war, the ceasefire is in place indefinitely
- 2:49Speaker 2: because the United States is produced it's its demands and
- 2:56Speaker 2: Iran has not responded. Therefore, we're going to wait for
- 2:59Speaker 2: Ron to respond. And what if it's never, it doesn't matter.
- 3:03Speaker 2: It's just it's crazy, this thing going on. And the
- 3:06Speaker 2: other thing, I was watching CNN and the approval rating
- 3:10Speaker 2: of the president is down to thirty three percent, thirty
- 3:13Speaker 2: four percent, the lowest of his presidency. However, the report
- 3:19Speaker 2: coming out of CNN, the survey they just did, is
- 3:23Speaker 2: Congress's approval rating ten percent, ten percent. And then he
- 3:33Speaker 2: put it into perspective. Twelve percent of the population believes
- 3:40Speaker 2: that the moon landing was faked ten percent, the same
- 3:46Speaker 2: percentage as approval approve of Congress. Ten percent believe the
- 3:51Speaker 2: Earth is flat, So the flat earthers are at the
- 3:58Speaker 2: same beliefs level that approve of Congress. And we wonder
- 4:06Speaker 2: why politics are such a god awful mess.
- 4:09Speaker 4: Huh.
- 4:11Speaker 2: And then we'll see how long this cease fire goes.
- 4:13Speaker 2: And it's just this thing goes up and down. Oil
- 4:16Speaker 2: is back up again, although it's leveled off because we
- 4:19Speaker 2: don't know what's going to happen? Stock market is doing great?
- 4:23Speaker 2: What are oh stock market doesn't open until six thirty.
- 4:26Speaker 2: What are the futures?
- 4:27Speaker 4: Amy?
- 4:28Speaker 5: The future is up for doubts.
- 4:30Speaker 4: God, it's just it doesn't stop. It's up, it's down.
- 4:35Speaker 6: It just.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I don't get any of it. And if you ask
- 4:40Speaker 2: any if you ask anyone, you ask ten people who
- 4:44Speaker 2: have any grip on reality as to what's going on,
- 4:47Speaker 2: You'll get ten. You'll get ten different responses. That's like
- 4:54Speaker 2: if two Jews are on a desert island and you
- 4:59Speaker 2: ask them where should we put the synagogue? You'll get
- 5:03Speaker 2: three opinions. That's the way it works in life. And
- 5:07Speaker 2: that's what's happening now. Okay, what else is going on.
- 5:13Speaker 2: We've got Jim Keeney coming in at eight thirty, as
- 5:16Speaker 2: we always do, and we've got just some local news
- 5:22Speaker 2: that we're.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Going to have.
- 5:24Speaker 2: We'll get a cover today because I'm doing a lot
- 5:26Speaker 2: of international news, but we're going to start with some
- 5:29Speaker 2: international news. It's time for handling the news with Amy King,
- 5:33Speaker 2: Nil Savedra and b Late Story Spile.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, there's another one. Now.
- 5:43Speaker 2: The good news for the president is he's not going
- 5:46Speaker 2: to give us a date certain, because if you remember
- 5:49Speaker 2: two weeks ago, it's going to be tonight, and then
- 5:51Speaker 2: we're going to go on another week, and then another
- 5:53Speaker 2: ten days, and then it extended again, and then it
- 5:57Speaker 2: was supposed to be Tuesday night, and then it was
- 5:59Speaker 2: extended to Wednesday night, yesterday at six o'clock, and oh tonight, No,
- 6:06Speaker 2: it was yesterday at six o'clock.
- 6:07Speaker 4: That's when it ended, if I'm not mistaken.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And hours before the war, the decimation of Iran, its
- 6:14Speaker 2: power plant system, every bridge. All of a sudden there's
- 6:18Speaker 2: another ceasefire, and a couple of things. First of all,
- 6:22Speaker 2: the White House is saying, we don't know who we're
- 6:24Speaker 2: talking to. That's the problem. Who's representing Iran. The leadership
- 6:32Speaker 2: is completely fractured. That's one problem, which makes sense. And
- 6:38Speaker 2: the other problem is that it's don't want to go
- 6:45Speaker 2: to war. I mean, the president does. Can you imagine
- 6:47Speaker 2: if there was a boots on the ground attack to
- 6:51Speaker 2: go after those nuclear facilities or those the enriched uranium
- 6:56Speaker 2: of which there's about nine hundred pounds and no one
- 6:59Speaker 2: knows where it is. And this is weapons grade stuff,
- 7:02Speaker 2: so it is it is a god awful mess. Also,
- 7:05Speaker 2: Iran is taking custody of two ships that were in
- 7:11Speaker 2: the strait trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
- 7:16Speaker 2: The US has picked up one oil ship oil container ship,
- 7:23Speaker 2: saying that this is one of the shadow fleet, because
- 7:26Speaker 2: Iran is using a shadow fleet non registered ships or
- 7:30Speaker 2: changing the name. Oh the other thing I want to
- 7:32Speaker 2: point out in Disneyland, Amy I was talking to one
- 7:37Speaker 2: of the guide people that walk around and take folks around,
- 7:41Speaker 2: and she was one of a couple of guys that
- 7:44Speaker 2: were assigned to JD Vance going through the park, and
- 7:49Speaker 2: she was saying there were one hundred and fifty security
- 7:54Speaker 2: personnel that were guarding him, and when he and his
- 7:58Speaker 2: family went on a ride, the entire area was cordoned off.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Secret Service was in the ride in front, in the
- 8:08Speaker 2: ride in back, for example.
- 8:10Speaker 5: If there was the Secret Service had a really fun day.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:13Speaker 2: And then there were twenty five of them that were
- 8:18Speaker 2: caught taking photos with Mickey and they were mugging for
- 8:22Speaker 2: the camera and pretending to handcuff Mickey.
- 8:24Speaker 5: Did you know that they were not?
- 8:27Speaker 4: It's true they weren't not, But it's a great story, isn't.
- 8:29Speaker 5: It would never allow for that to happen.
- 8:33Speaker 3: I never take more than seventy five security people with
- 8:36Speaker 3: me when I go to Disney.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Now I know it's compaxis.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it is nuts also necessary, Yeah, that's true. Mean
- 8:43Speaker 2: this day and age, it is necessary. And so he
- 8:46Speaker 2: took his family and they just had a family thing
- 8:48Speaker 2: and it was it was worth that worth and he said,
- 8:52Speaker 2: if I don't get in for free, I'm going to
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know, bomb Disneyland, take out his entire power facility.
- 8:58Speaker 6: It's the most horrible thing you talking about.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Not a lot. You know.
- 9:02Speaker 2: What I'm wondering is if he paid to get into Disneyland.
- 9:07Speaker 4: What do you think, Amy?
- 9:09Speaker 5: Hmmm, good, good question.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Would you think he paid?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Give him?
- 9:13Speaker 5: Did they compass tickets?
- 9:15Speaker 2: I know that's true, and when and did it? And
- 9:17Speaker 2: did he pay for a corn dog?
- 9:21Speaker 5: I don't know. I'll ask my people, Yeah, would you please?
- 9:24Speaker 2: I would I would like to know. And when one
- 9:27Speaker 2: hundred and fifty security personnel come in, I'm sorry.
- 9:31Speaker 6: I'm assuming they pay.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Yeah, for the government, they do, because yeah, they'd get
- 9:35Speaker 5: in trouble with the government if they didn't, and that
- 9:37Speaker 5: would be a huge scandal. JD. Evans went to Disneyland
- 9:40Speaker 5: and didn't pay for a corn dog.
- 9:41Speaker 6: I mean, I think we every face right now paid
- 9:46Speaker 6: for JD. Evans and his family to go.
- 9:48Speaker 4: That's probably a good point.
- 9:49Speaker 5: I think he actually paid. You're thinking he got freebies.
- 9:52Speaker 6: No, I think they got all of us paid for it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah, if he paid, if he paid, it had to
- 9:57Speaker 2: be the US government paid. Although here although maybe he
- 10:01Speaker 2: paid for his own family.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Yeah, that's possible. Insect.
- 10:05Speaker 2: And then the rest of it was a security which
- 10:10Speaker 2: maybe the government paid for it, and it maybe not.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I Good'd love to find out what the specifics were
- 10:16Speaker 2: on that one.
- 10:18Speaker 4: And here's a little factoid.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Nikita Krushchev, if you don't remember his name, he was
- 10:23Speaker 2: a chair of the Communist Party of Russia. And in
- 10:26Speaker 2: nineteen sixty when he went to the United Nations and
- 10:32Speaker 2: he pounded on the lectern with a shoe and talked
- 10:35Speaker 2: about how Communism was going to override and the world's
- 10:38Speaker 2: going to be Communists.
- 10:40Speaker 4: He went to Los Angeles and all he.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Wanted to do was go to Disneyland, and they said
- 10:45Speaker 2: no because they couldn't they couldn't guarantee security.
- 10:49Speaker 5: He was turned down and could have changed the whole world.
- 10:52Speaker 5: He could have come out of there as the happiest
- 10:53Speaker 5: person on Earth and said, let's make peace with the world.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he could have, but he couldn't get into Disneyland. Okay,
- 11:00Speaker 2: continuing on with more handle on the news, Amy, Neil.
- 11:03Speaker 5: And Me score four for the Dems. Virginia voters on
- 11:08Speaker 5: Tuesday approved a Democratic redistricting plan kind of like the
- 11:12Speaker 5: thing that they didn't in California, that could allow the
- 11:15Speaker 5: party to pick up as many as four new seats
- 11:17Speaker 5: in the midterm elections. So, with ninety three percent of
- 11:20Speaker 5: the vote in the yes vote had about a two
- 11:23Speaker 5: and a half percent margin of victory, but it's enough,
- 11:26Speaker 5: and so the upcurrent, instead of having six to five
- 11:29Speaker 5: advantage for Democrats, it's expected to be like ten to one.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:34Speaker 2: President Trump started all this when he asked for redistricting,
- 11:39Speaker 2: giving Republicans the edge, and Texas did. Texas was the
- 11:44Speaker 2: first state that went ahead and did this, and then
- 11:47Speaker 2: the Democrats in response like we did in California. So
- 11:51Speaker 2: now you have states all over the United States that
- 11:54Speaker 2: are redistricting in the middle of the a census decade,
- 11:57Speaker 2: which has never happened before. When it's all said and done,
- 12:00Speaker 2: it's going to be a break even, except that this,
- 12:03Speaker 2: nothing's going to change if.
- 12:05Speaker 5: This goes through though that it gives the Democrats a
- 12:08Speaker 5: fore vote advantage.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Except I think there is if I'm not mistaken, there
- 12:13Speaker 2: is one state that would go the other way. And
- 12:15Speaker 2: I may be wrong, you may be right on that, Amy,
- 12:17Speaker 2: And if I am right on that, if you are
- 12:20Speaker 2: right on that, we will shut up. Okay, we will
- 12:22Speaker 2: not bring this up again. What do you mean we,
- 12:25Speaker 2: Amy will not bring it up again.
- 12:27Speaker 5: Why do they do this in the middle of midterms,
- 12:29Speaker 5: Because the middle of the year, I think they should
- 12:32Speaker 5: pass a law that says they can only do it
- 12:34Speaker 5: during censuship.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Right, And they don't. There is no law because the
- 12:37Speaker 2: state's control. Once again, we go back to the Constitution
- 12:41Speaker 2: and the states redistrict, which is legitimate because demographics and
- 12:46Speaker 2: geography change with every census, and it's been traditional it
- 12:52Speaker 2: is done during every ten years based on census. The
- 12:55Speaker 2: President said let's do it midterm because I want to
- 13:00Speaker 2: give advantage to the Republicans. And then in response to that,
- 13:03Speaker 2: everybody fell into place, which of course the Democrats or
- 13:09Speaker 2: the Republicans do exactly what he says. The Democrat just
- 13:12Speaker 2: went the other way and said, you do this I'll
- 13:13Speaker 2: do that. You know, my dad's bigger than your dad.
- 13:17Speaker 6: I'm not sure if that's the saying.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Okay, my Schawans is bigger than your Swanse was the
- 13:21Speaker 2: actual saying. But I don't want to bring that up.
- 13:25Speaker 3: God, I've never heard you say anything less true. All right,
- 13:30Speaker 3: Besarah Javier Besara, the you know, the former cabinet secretary
- 13:35Speaker 3: and President Biden's administration. He has been running for governor
- 13:41Speaker 3: of California along with just about everybody else. And of
- 13:46Speaker 3: course we're seeing the Democratic members kind of thin out,
- 13:49Speaker 3: as Eric swollwell you dropped out, and now it's kind of,
- 13:55Speaker 3: you know, juggling around. You had two Conservatives in the lead,
- 13:59Speaker 3: and now Basarah seems to be cleaning things up, getting
- 14:04Speaker 3: some momentum, some money, and movement. As the polls in
- 14:08Speaker 3: the governor race continue to shift. With every single change.
- 14:13Speaker 4: There's going to be tremendous pressure on the Democratic runners,
- 14:19Speaker 4: the candidates to leave two in the race, so two
- 14:24Speaker 4: Democrats will be on the ballot as opposed to two Republicans,
- 14:28Speaker 4: because if all the Democrats run, everybody's going to cannibalize
- 14:32Speaker 4: everybody else, and the Republicans are going to.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Take it anybody in double digits yet on Democratic side.
- 14:39Speaker 5: Yeah, Tom Steyer and Javey Arbisara.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Yeah, those are the two.
- 14:42Speaker 2: And Stier's already spent one hundred million dollars and he's
- 14:45Speaker 2: going to spend a couple hundred million dollars more.
- 14:48Speaker 4: And uh, Besarah is.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I think if I had guess, I think Basarah is
- 14:55Speaker 2: going to be one of the two that hang and will.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Probably be if I had the guests will be elected.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Because you like any of the candidates, Bill, you know.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I don't know enough about candidates. I know that.
- 15:05Speaker 2: But Sarah is a traditional Democratic liberal. Tom Steyer is
- 15:11Speaker 2: a billionaire moderate and that's all I know.
- 15:18Speaker 5: Newsom is not endorsing, and neither is Nancy Pelosi.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Not at this point. I mean there will be an endorsement.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I mean Nancy Pelosi's last endorsement sort of kind of
- 15:30Speaker 3: went by the wayside.
- 15:31Speaker 2: She still has tremendous power in the Democratic Party, tremendous.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Power keeping those murders close to home.
- 15:41Speaker 4: This is so sick.
- 15:42Speaker 5: The guy who recently pleaded guilty to New York's Gilgo
- 15:45Speaker 5: Beach serial murders told his ex wife while he's in
- 15:49Speaker 5: jail that he killed most of his victims in the
- 15:52Speaker 5: basement of the family's dilapidated home. Oh yeah, the air
- 15:56Speaker 5: episode is going to air tomorrow night on Peacock. There's
- 16:01Speaker 5: a documentary about it. And Rex Humeerman apparently also told
- 16:06Speaker 5: his wife's that the eight women he has admitted to
- 16:08Speaker 5: killing were his only eight victims only.
- 16:15Speaker 2: And then his wife, his ex wife, said that he
- 16:17Speaker 2: had When does she say that? Was it recently or
- 16:23Speaker 2: was it before? And did the did the authorities know?
- 16:28Speaker 5: It's in the teaser? Because I remember he was charged
- 16:30Speaker 5: with he was going to plead guilty to seven and
- 16:32Speaker 5: then in court he goes, oh, by the way, I
- 16:34Speaker 5: killed another one.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just so gross, all right.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So you have the Texas law of requiring to display
- 16:46Speaker 3: the Ten Commandments in classes like poster type thing.
- 16:49Speaker 6: While the court ruled.
- 16:50Speaker 3: In this case, the US Court of Appeals for the
- 16:52Speaker 3: Fifth Circuit voted nine to seven to uphold Texas Senate
- 16:56Speaker 3: Bill ten, which was enacted last year and requires these
- 17:00Speaker 3: posters or the Ten Commandments to be displayed in a
- 17:04Speaker 3: visible spot. See, they thought of everything in every public
- 17:09Speaker 3: elementary and secondary school classroom in a state.
- 17:12Speaker 2: In big font so everybody can see it. There's the
- 17:17Speaker 2: Ten Commandments.
- 17:18Speaker 5: How does this not violate the separation of church and state?
- 17:21Speaker 2: Because we are now talking about a court and this
- 17:24Speaker 2: will be upheld, and it was in the appeals court
- 17:27Speaker 2: that religious freedom First Amendment, the interpretation of First Amendment
- 17:34Speaker 2: supersedes the concept of separation and church and state because
- 17:38Speaker 2: if you look at the Constitution, the separation of church
- 17:42Speaker 2: and state takes that Congress will not in not abridge
- 17:46Speaker 2: anybody's religion. Out of that come separation of church and state,
- 17:50Speaker 2: and now you have personal freedom, religious freedom which was
- 17:54Speaker 2: limited in a public way. For example, you couldn't have
- 17:58Speaker 2: Nativity scenes andblic parks.
- 18:01Speaker 4: And you're going to see it's very different.
- 18:04Speaker 2: They'll actually be you'll actually see park employees actually crucified
- 18:10Speaker 2: during Easter.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Easter. It's going to be a very very different world.
- 18:14Speaker 5: Okay, But here's my question, Like, if a park decides
- 18:17Speaker 5: it wants to do a Nativity scene, isn't that different
- 18:20Speaker 5: than a school being ordered to the Commandments?
- 18:25Speaker 4: Yes? I think so, it's just a question of levels.
- 18:28Speaker 4: That's a good question.
- 18:29Speaker 2: And this would be well, even if a park were
- 18:33Speaker 2: mandated to put a Nativity scene, I think that's not
- 18:37Speaker 2: as powerful an argument as I think the school part
- 18:42Speaker 2: is far more offensive. Forcing kids to look at the
- 18:46Speaker 2: Ten Commandments. What if you have an atheist kid who
- 18:48Speaker 2: doesn't believe look at the stigma. And the defense was,
- 18:52Speaker 2: no one forces the kid to look at it, no
- 18:54Speaker 2: one forces the teacher to teach it. It's just going
- 18:57Speaker 2: to be up there. It's like the wallpaper, and it
- 19:00Speaker 2: has to be the Ten Commandments. So you know, I'm
- 19:03Speaker 2: a big fan of separation at church and state, so
- 19:06Speaker 2: I find that offensive. But you know, obviously the appeals
- 19:10Speaker 2: court said no, So Texas has the Ten Commandments.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Is this going to go to the Supreme Court?
- 19:15Speaker 2: Oh me, the Supreme Court might say no, I'm not
- 19:18Speaker 2: going to grant serciori, which means that this stays.
- 19:20Speaker 5: Okay ah. Two no more flu vaccine requirement. Yeah. Defense
- 19:27Speaker 5: Secretary Pete Heigsith announced that the annual flu vaccine is
- 19:31Speaker 5: now going to be optional for US military personnel. Flu
- 19:33Speaker 5: vaccines have been mandatory since nineteen forty five at the
- 19:37Speaker 5: end of World War Two, referring to the COVID nineteen
- 19:41Speaker 5: vaccine that led to the dismissal of eight thousand service
- 19:44Speaker 5: members who didn't take it. Exists, said, our men and
- 19:46Speaker 5: women in uniform were forced to choose between their conscience
- 19:49Speaker 5: and their country, even when those decisions posed no threat
- 19:53Speaker 5: to our military readiness.
- 19:55Speaker 2: What conscious If you're against flu vaccine, the argum is
- 20:00Speaker 2: the government can't force you to have a flu vaccine,
- 20:04Speaker 2: but if you're in the army, the government can force
- 20:06Speaker 2: you to do virtually everything or anything. So I don't
- 20:10Speaker 2: quite understand the thinking of one or the other. I
- 20:15Speaker 2: don't think he says it would say, if the government
- 20:19Speaker 2: mandates you, for example, to go from A to B,
- 20:22Speaker 2: you can say, no thanks, I'm not going to tell
- 20:24Speaker 2: me what the army tells me to do.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I'm not listening to that.
- 20:27Speaker 3: It didn't he have a beef with someone who said
- 20:30Speaker 3: to follow your conscience.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And no, dude, the beef was not your conscience. The
- 20:35Speaker 2: beef was you don't have to follow illegal orders.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Well what does that mean? Though?
- 20:40Speaker 4: I don't know if it translate.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Basically, it's basically saying, hey, if that's an illegal, illegal order,
- 20:48Speaker 3: you don't have to follow it because your conscience says otherwise.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But when you're talking about an illegal order, it's very
- 20:55Speaker 2: very different than the vaccine. Whether you take it or not. No,
- 20:58Speaker 2: best question, how is this different to Haig Seth, because oh,
- 21:03Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know his thing to take
- 21:05Speaker 2: a vaccine. How is that different from someone Because it's
- 21:10Speaker 2: a level, it's a level of what's reasonable, and it's
- 21:13Speaker 2: a level with personal freedom. And he believes that personal
- 21:18Speaker 2: freedom does not extend to orders from the military, but
- 21:22Speaker 2: it does extend to taking the vaccine. Yeah, no, I
- 21:25Speaker 2: agree with you. It's just none of this is logical.
- 21:28Speaker 2: None of this is logical. All right, we'll do one
- 21:31Speaker 2: more and we've got to go through a few of them.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Netflix just wants to buy whatever it can Radford's studios
- 21:37Speaker 3: there in the valley, very historic place, gun smoke Seinfeld.
- 21:44Speaker 3: They are purchasing it. If you remember, it was sitting
- 21:48Speaker 3: without anybody. It was just kind of left there because
- 21:52Speaker 3: it couldn't be afforded anymore. And now they are picking
- 21:56Speaker 3: it up.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, he's thinking Netflix has enough money if you want
- 22:00Speaker 2: no commercials.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Is now twenty five dollars.
- 22:02Speaker 2: A month for Netflix with no commercials. That's very special.
- 22:06Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, but I'm.
- 22:07Speaker 3: So glad that this isn't going by the way, So
- 22:09Speaker 3: that's a really neat location.
- 22:11Speaker 6: It isn't the Wonder Life was filmed there?
- 22:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's no, it's historic. I mean there is,
- 22:16Speaker 2: and I got a great hit bit of history. If
- 22:19Speaker 2: we have chance to come back regarding.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Films, a good group may have gone bad. Department of
- 22:26Speaker 5: Justice officials have announced that they have filed an indictment
- 22:28Speaker 5: against the Southern Poverty Law Center, a well known civil
- 22:32Speaker 5: rights organization, on charges in connection with what they say
- 22:36Speaker 5: is not dismantling extremism, but funding it. So the Alabama
- 22:41Speaker 5: based organization is accused of funneling millions of dollars to
- 22:45Speaker 5: organizations including the KKK and the National Socialist Party of America.
- 22:51Speaker 2: This is so crazy, this makes no sense. So they
- 22:56Speaker 2: pay informants to infiltrate. And now the government is saying
- 23:00Speaker 2: that donated money, which it is that's how it receives
- 23:04Speaker 2: its money, is actually helping the KKK, and it's furthering
- 23:08Speaker 2: what the KKK is doing and is lying to the
- 23:12Speaker 2: donors when they take when they take donations. This is
- 23:16Speaker 2: a Southern this is the Poverty Law Center, one of
- 23:21Speaker 2: the most famous civil rights organizations, fighting anti semitism, fighting
- 23:26Speaker 2: anti racial issues. I mean, this is just so nute.
- 23:31Speaker 2: It makes so I don't, man, I don't get it.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I really don't. And they're accused of lying to their
- 23:37Speaker 2: donors saying we really fight racism, and in reality they're
- 23:41Speaker 2: promoting racism. And that's what the government is saying. Oh,
- 23:46Speaker 2: because it's a very liberal, left wing organization, that's why
- 23:53Speaker 2: or why would they do that? Why would they infiltrate
- 23:55Speaker 2: and help the KKKY?
- 23:58Speaker 5: Exactly the KKK.
- 24:00Speaker 4: No, Now they're what the government is saying. They're in
- 24:02Speaker 4: favor of the KKK.
- 24:05Speaker 2: They're lying to the donors, and they're saying that they're
- 24:08Speaker 2: promoting the KKK by paying informants.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Sounds crazy, doesn't it it does? There?
- 24:16Speaker 5: There you go, time to pick up the pen again.
- 24:19Speaker 5: A resolution has been approved by the LA Board of Education,
- 24:23Speaker 5: the LA School Board. What did I miss one?
- 24:27Speaker 4: Oh?
- 24:28Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm supposed to do one now.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Oh I'm sorry, I skipped right over you, Neil.
- 24:31Speaker 3: My apologies, man, not like I'm already six out of
- 24:35Speaker 3: seven kids. Man, hey, you heard you heard of LASA.
- 24:41Speaker 3: You know that in battled homeless service here in LA. Well,
- 24:45Speaker 3: now they're laying off a bunch of workers. It's the
- 24:48Speaker 3: same uh organization that years of criticism. They lacked proper
- 24:54Speaker 3: oversight and financial control, and there's been massive concerns and
- 25:00Speaker 3: and now they're laying people off.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but the reality is is the county says, Okay,
- 25:05Speaker 2: you're done, we're taking over or did I do it?
- 25:09Speaker 2: You know, you guys don't know what you're doing and
- 25:12Speaker 2: retrospect or as a result, Okay, you don't need the
- 25:15Speaker 2: number of people to screw up what you're screwing up.
- 25:20Speaker 2: So I don't know how you can argue with Yes,
- 25:22Speaker 2: you could screw it up with less.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Yeah, they basically, yeah, screw it up. Yeah, it's effectively it.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Okay, now time to pick up the pen again. The
- 25:35Speaker 5: LA Board of Education approved a resolution yesterday which is
- 25:38Speaker 5: a hard turn from several initiatives that have provided each
- 25:42Speaker 5: student with their very own school issued computers and expanding
- 25:47Speaker 5: the use of said computers. Now, they have banned or
- 25:51Speaker 5: limited student access to screens during school hours. That includes YouTube,
- 25:56Speaker 5: gaming platforms, Roadblocks, Fortnite, and also Focus. This is heavily
- 26:00Speaker 5: on screen time racked up with actual school work. Students
- 26:05Speaker 5: will also be kept away entirely from screens until they
- 26:09Speaker 5: get to the second grade, and then after that screen
- 26:12Speaker 5: time would be tracked and limited.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Okay, you remember the gunman at the Mexican Pyramid. Did
- 26:22Speaker 3: you see that video? Yeah, people hopping down, running downstairs.
- 26:27Speaker 3: One Canadian woman was killed, the thirteen people injured. Well,
- 26:30Speaker 3: it turns out this gunman who opened fire on tourists there,
- 26:35Speaker 3: he had I guess, some materials of some kind related
- 26:40Speaker 3: to the nineteen ninety nine shooting at Columbine High School.
- 26:44Speaker 3: So weird tie in.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and well he had ub what he had writings
- 26:50Speaker 2: related to Columbine.
- 26:51Speaker 4: This was what the twenty seventh anniversary on the.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Day he did it, and he had books and.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I just nuts. And then he killed himself, which you
- 27:01Speaker 2: should have done way beforehand. Yeah, start first, all right, Amy,
- 27:07Speaker 2: maybe the last one. Now, this will be a party.
- 27:10Speaker 5: LGBTQ dating app Grinder is gearing up to host its
- 27:14Speaker 5: first ever party ahead of the annual White House Correspondence
- 27:18Speaker 5: Association Dinner. An invitation to the party from the Grinder's
- 27:24Speaker 5: head of Global Government Affairs says the event is touted
- 27:27Speaker 5: as an opportunity to bring together policymakers, journalists in LGBTQ
- 27:31Speaker 5: community leaders as we toast the First Amendment.
- 27:36Speaker 4: Yeah, Grinder is not what is cracked up to be.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I was really disappointed in finding people to connect with.
- 27:44Speaker 3: H hm, Neil, No, don't come to me after that.
- 27:51Speaker 3: Third in California dies from snake bite this year. You know,
- 27:54Speaker 3: normally listening to Amy earlier, what was it like one
- 27:59Speaker 3: per year in the United States person usually dies from
- 28:02Speaker 3: a snake bite, And now we've got three in California alone.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Yeah, and we've had over a half dozen people bit

- 28:34Speaker 2: you know, out in the desert. I think they have
- 28:37Speaker 2: the water snakes, don't they.
- 28:39Speaker 6: The hell's a water snake and why would it be.
- 28:41Speaker 2: It's a snake that lives in the snake that lives
