Rancho Fire Contained Near Sparks
A wildfire dubbed the Rancho Fire erupted near Sullivan Lane in Sparks Friday night, quickly growing to five acres before crews arrived. Multiple fire departments including Sparks, Truckee Meadows, and Reno rushed to the scene to protect nearby homes and prevent spread. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, though El Rancho Drive was temporarily closed between Sullivan Lane and Moorpark Court.
