- 0:03Speaker 1: Megan Fox and Megan Kelly would be such a power
- 0:05Speaker 1: and they actually would. Like Megan Fox is someone who
- 0:08Speaker 1: seems like, despite how progressive she is, would date a Republican,
- 0:12Speaker 1: you know, totally, like she would go full trad wife.
- 0:21Speaker 1: But she is so talented. And that evil director from Transformers,
- 0:25Speaker 1: Michael Bay literally blacklisted her from Hollywood like that bit
- 0:29Speaker 1: on him, like in My Big Factory Winning Oh my god,
- 0:33Speaker 1: Oh no. They do it for luck, but it's also
- 0:35Speaker 1: a bad thing. I don't know. When I spit on someone,
- 0:38Speaker 1: it's always for a good reason and because they've asked.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Usually I don't like to get spat eyes. I don't
- 0:45Speaker 1: like my mouth to get spit in, but me either,
- 0:47Speaker 1: and I like to get to spit on. I don't
- 0:49Speaker 1: like spit in my mouth. People like spit in your throth.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I think when it works like and usually like when
- 0:58Speaker 1: I don't see it coming. If I'm really in the moment,
- 1:01Speaker 1: it can be really hot. But if it's not. But
- 1:07Speaker 1: I love spinning on people. We should do it. Disobedience
- 1:09Speaker 1: episode for Hankkah So I've never seen it. Actually, can
- 1:15Speaker 1: I tell you, okay, I'm lying? You know what I did.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I skimmed through it on a plane. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I don't know what kind of state I was in,
- 1:25Speaker 1: or like why I had so little time to watch it.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I know it's but I'm gonna I'll watch it. I'll
- 1:31Speaker 1: be the Virgin. And that's for eight Crazy Nights of Hanukkah.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I love that. That is our our kind of Jewish
- 1:38Speaker 1: holiday film. There's not even that many Jewish movies. No,
- 1:42Speaker 1: they're like three. Like it's like, I've never seen Crazy Nights.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I've never I've never seen Yentil either. Will you induct us?
- 1:50Speaker 1: So we should? Phoebe? You should be a guest, Maybe
- 1:53Speaker 1: we should maybe we should do a whole Barbara. But listen,
- 1:58Speaker 1: we love Mrs Doubtfire like we will probably love It's like,
- 2:02Speaker 1: what's my favorite movie? So good? Best? What ever? I
- 2:07Speaker 1: would go so far as to say, I'm really stoned,
- 2:16Speaker 1: and I'm stoned, and I have to recount the plot
- 2:19Speaker 1: of hocus Pocus one do you need? Otherwise known before
- 2:23Speaker 1: today just as hocus Pocus? But now there are two?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Now there are too. And I honestly never thought this
- 2:29Speaker 1: would happen. I thought it would be something that people
- 2:32Speaker 1: would just talk about. Doing like, oh, the sequel is happening,
- 2:35Speaker 1: The sequel is happening, or it would be a reunion special, yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and they'd get together and maybe like do a musical number. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:42Speaker 1: friends or the Harry Potter reunion. Yeah, the Harry Potter
- 2:46Speaker 1: Reunion was weird really just because of J. K. Rowling
- 2:50Speaker 1: or like no, which it was just weird, yeah, weird energy, Yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but also because of J. K. Rowling. Who of the
- 2:56Speaker 1: three kind of like stars of that the Harry Potter franchise,
- 3:01Speaker 1: would you like fun Mary kill Harry, Ron Harmony, Rupert,
- 3:06Speaker 1: Emma and Dan Well. I don't know if I'm talking
- 3:10Speaker 1: about the characters are like the actors as the characters, Okay,
- 3:13Speaker 1: the characters? Yeah? Yeah, um fuck Mary kill mm hmm
- 3:19Speaker 1: Mary Harmony fuck, Ron kill Harry. That is so the
- 3:25Speaker 1: Mirriad period. So this is up to a great start.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I have totally derailed you from telling us the plot
- 3:35Speaker 1: of the first took. I would not call it a derailment.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I would know that direction, the direction to beautiful tangent. So, virgins,
- 3:43Speaker 1: we're coming to you from our first live watch ever.
- 3:47Speaker 1: This is you're listening to history being made, History being
- 3:51Speaker 1: made in my living room. Um. This is also the
- 3:53Speaker 1: first episode of our Halloween spook Tacular. Yes, um, let
- 3:57Speaker 1: the games commence. Um, we punting begin if we haven't
- 4:02Speaker 1: already find a boo oh, I like what you did there.
- 4:08Speaker 1: So we're going to watch hocus Pocus to, the sequel
- 4:12Speaker 1: to the iconic Disney movie hocus Pocus, which was I
- 4:16Speaker 1: don't know if you know this released in the summer
- 4:18Speaker 1: and not Halloween. Oh I did not know that. I
- 4:21Speaker 1: just remember the commercials being on at like all the
- 4:25Speaker 1: fucking time when that movie came out. Like well, it's
- 4:28Speaker 1: also aired twenty times a day on free Form every
- 4:33Speaker 1: October for the past fifteen years. Um, which is why
- 4:39Speaker 1: I think we got this sequel, hocus Pocus to starring
- 4:43Speaker 1: Bette Midler Sarah not Michelle Geller. I almost said Michelle
- 4:47Speaker 1: Gellar Sarah Jessica Parker, but Michelle Geller would eat and
- 4:51Speaker 1: Kathy n Jeemie of uh, um, what she think what's
- 5:00Speaker 1: it called? What's it called? Sister trapped fame and also
- 5:07Speaker 1: of and also of this fame of pocus Pocus fame.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Kathiny Jimmie is underutilized, like she needs to be in
- 5:16Speaker 1: more things. I think she's about exactly as utilized. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: don't know we need her more. She was on Younger.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Oh why I as younger is amazing, It's not we're
- 5:26Speaker 1: a younger Okay, she's amazing on Veep. She's so good
- 5:30Speaker 1: and that is like something she needs to be more
- 5:33Speaker 1: things like that. She plays like one of the press
- 5:35Speaker 1: guys like wives. It's amazing. Anyways, anyway, recapping Focus Pocus
- 5:40Speaker 1: is a film about three witches, the Sanderson Sisters, who
- 5:46Speaker 1: like to suck the youth out of children and as
- 5:49Speaker 1: which as I want to do and die in Salem
- 5:52Speaker 1: because anything which that happens has to happen in Salem.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm glad you actually recapt I really did not remember
- 5:58Speaker 1: what happened. But then they are brought to life by
- 6:00Speaker 1: a virgin lighting the Black Flame candle, and their mission
- 6:04Speaker 1: is to brew this potion and suck the lives out
- 6:07Speaker 1: of the children of Salem before sunrise so that they
- 6:10Speaker 1: can live forever. Um there plans are thwarted by a
- 6:16Speaker 1: trio of um plucky little kids, one of whom is
- 6:20Speaker 1: played by Thora Birch, and a talking cat who is
- 6:25Speaker 1: um Thackery Banks, who's like a pilgrim. There's always a
- 6:28Speaker 1: talking cat, the good does triumph over evil unfortunately, the
- 6:33Speaker 1: Witch is doing amazing musical number, and Thackery Banks goes
- 6:36Speaker 1: to heaven at the end of the film. Yeah, and honestly,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I feel like the virtuosity of these three witches is
- 6:43Speaker 1: what carries the film because it is, at the end
- 6:44Speaker 1: of the day, like a children's film, right, because three
- 6:47Speaker 1: of them are so And it was a huge flop
- 6:51Speaker 1: um when it came out. I didn't know that, but
- 6:54Speaker 1: because of VHS rentals and it being played on TV
- 6:57Speaker 1: every year, it has become a cult class it was
- 7:00Speaker 1: always a classic to me. I also feel like it's
- 7:04Speaker 1: like our generation is like kind of to a cringe
- 7:07Speaker 1: level obsessed. Well, it's BuzzFeed core like focus Friends, like
- 7:13Speaker 1: the office culture. It's it's um, it's they see it's
- 7:17Speaker 1: words with friends coded not I mean, oh my god. Okay, Yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 1: that's a really good way of putting it. And I
- 7:26Speaker 1: think that's culturally kind of how Yeah. Um, so we
- 7:30Speaker 1: are at Frands. Producer Phoebe's here and we have the
- 7:35Speaker 1: movie queued up to zero zero zero. It's actually not
- 7:38Speaker 1: I have to I have to do it again. I'm sorry,
- 7:41Speaker 1: And so I'm going to count down. I'm going to
- 7:44Speaker 1: say three to one start, and on start is when
- 7:49Speaker 1: we and all of you are going to press play.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So you just, you know, listen, listen to our voices,
- 7:55Speaker 1: turn it up over, louder speak, make us speak louder
- 8:00Speaker 1: and Bette Midler, yeah that her speaker makes us like
- 8:03Speaker 1: in the room with you as you are. Because the
- 8:06Speaker 1: way you should think of this is we're doing DVD
- 8:08Speaker 1: commentary for, as you pointed out earlier, a movie we
- 8:11Speaker 1: have no involvement. Yes, yes, we were not a producers
- 8:14Speaker 1: on this, though they should have hired us. Honestly, we
- 8:17Speaker 1: are experts, for sure. We are. I'm definitely an expert
- 8:20Speaker 1: on Witches, and I'm an expert on you know, Sarah
- 8:25Speaker 1: Jessica Parker. No, not really. Okay, have you ever seen
- 8:28Speaker 1: Miami Repsody? No? I haven't either, The First Wives Club? Okay,
- 8:35Speaker 1: So we're going to count down. I don't know what
- 8:38Speaker 1: to expect. I hope this movie is good or I
- 8:40Speaker 1: hope it's so bad it has to be one of
- 8:43Speaker 1: the two. I think it's going to be the Latter
- 8:45Speaker 1: Girl Again. I'm going to say three to one. No, no, no,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I think it should be on one. No, it has
- 8:52Speaker 1: to be on. You think it should be on to
- 8:55Speaker 1: I think it should be on. No, I think you
- 8:57Speaker 1: think it's one. I think it should be three. You
- 9:00Speaker 1: know what, it's gotta be go. We're not leaving, have
- 9:07Speaker 1: to start over. We have been waiting twenty years for this.
- 9:15Speaker 1: It's time, I Sistars, it's more than twenty years. I think,
- 9:19Speaker 1: did you say it came out at three? So twenty
- 9:22Speaker 1: one years, twenty one years. This hocus pocus is old
- 9:26Speaker 1: enough to drink legally. No, I'm so old. Oh my god,
- 9:31Speaker 1: it's twenty nine years. I'm old. Old in your battom mouth.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Both things that we knew to be true? All right, Um, okay,
- 9:42Speaker 1: so how are we going to do this? We're gonna
- 9:44Speaker 1: do three to one. But that wasn't that wasn't it?
- 9:49Speaker 1: So go back to zero? Okay, okay, get ready, Sistars,
- 9:55Speaker 1: Cistars three two one go. We nailed that tour. Here's
- 10:08Speaker 1: the castle scenario. I wonder if it's gonna be spooky.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You know how sometimes they customize it a little bit,
- 10:16Speaker 1: They make it a little they give it a little spice,
- 10:19Speaker 1: like there should be a cauld written in that little
- 10:23Speaker 1: It looks like it looks like hogwarts. It's giving witches.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Oh and it's it's sinister. I just kind of a shiver,
- 10:36Speaker 1: just ran down my spine. And oh that's a bird.
- 10:48Speaker 1: It's a big bird. Birds are gross. I actually agree
- 10:53Speaker 1: like pet birds. Why I don't think this bird is
- 10:56Speaker 1: a pet. I think it's something spooky. Okay, so you
- 11:00Speaker 1: think it's like a familiar houses looking pretty old timey
- 11:12Speaker 1: Salem sixty three. I'm so glad you're reading it. You
- 11:19Speaker 1: know I'm setting the time in place. Honey, of course. Uh,
- 11:31Speaker 1: this is going to be one of the young witches same.
- 11:47Speaker 1: This is so okay, honest, Oh my, she has always
- 11:51Speaker 1: been that bitch that was kind of a jump scare
- 11:58Speaker 1: baby bat. She's giving you thanks. This is the worst
- 12:05Speaker 1: day of my life. On your birthday every day. Mm hmmm.
- 12:14Speaker 1: This little blonde girl, she's doing a lot. But look,
- 12:26Speaker 1: oh my god, I feel like I'm watching like a
- 12:29Speaker 1: child's play. These actresses are giving Disney. She's getting married.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna start dropping the into a conversation. Didst thou snap?
- 12:55Speaker 1: I do that sometimes when I don't want to clean
- 12:57Speaker 1: a dish, you just break it and throw it out.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I've done that recently. Mm hm oh, the teeth are teething.
- 13:11Speaker 1: She those are some spirit Halloween teeth. Are they gonna
- 13:17Speaker 1: eat the spider? Wait? Is that supposed to be Kathy
- 13:27Speaker 1: and Sarah? Okay, it's the three of them. Mhm slay,
- 13:44Speaker 1: the jig is up. M m okay, he's trying to
- 14:04Speaker 1: give timpothy. Oh that's um what's his face? Oh he's gay. Yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 1: that's Tony Hill from VP. Oh my god, my queen Billy.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Who's that the zombie from the first movie? I don't
- 14:39Speaker 1: remember scandalous hym yeah or deep so much so? Are
- 15:27Speaker 1: they witches yet? There? Are they just weird? I think
- 15:34Speaker 1: they're witches. He's serving ah, oh my god, Oh my god. Work. Yes,
- 16:10Speaker 1: this is quite an excitable little town. There's a lot
- 16:13Speaker 1: of They don't have much of the background. Look at
- 16:17Speaker 1: the churn butter. The background actors are really giving. Look
- 16:21Speaker 1: at them. What don't you be if you were a
- 16:23Speaker 1: focus focused too, I would you be eating every frame?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Twerking in the bag. Yeah, I'm going to get The
- 16:33Speaker 1: girls are running. The girls are pressed, So they're witches.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Maybe they haven't realized their full potential. No, it's a sequel. No,
- 16:44Speaker 1: it's a prequel. It's a sequel. This is this Yeah, yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: I don't like you. M m hmm. I've done this
- 17:13Speaker 1: on Academy in before. This is us on Fire Island.
- 17:32Speaker 1: They are acting, They're like, I'm booking a Marvel show
- 17:34Speaker 1: after this. It's the song. M hm m uh. That
- 18:08Speaker 1: was fierce. Wait who is that actress? Um, that's the
- 18:15Speaker 1: British actress who's in. Oh she's in on the Ta Lasso,
- 18:19Speaker 1: which I've never watched never. Well, she's amazing mm hmmm.

- 19:03Speaker 1: It's a safe space. She is giving merrily An into
- 19:30Speaker 1: the Woods a run for her money. I don't know
- 19:37Speaker 1: about this concept book. Yeah, it's not it's not really
- 19:41Speaker 1: a little ostritch feathers. Mhm. Oh that's gonna be turned
- 20:01Speaker 1: into a gift and like so many lame people are
- 20:04Speaker 1: going to use it. You will, No, I'm better than that.
- 20:09Speaker 1: We'll see. I wonder if that's gonna come back at
- 20:40Speaker 1: some point. Foreshadowing. Nothing gets past you rooms. How do
- 20:49Speaker 1: you know it's gender? Yeah, I feel the pronouns would
- 20:54Speaker 1: be it. It didn't. Yeah, it is, it is hm
- 21:00Speaker 1: m h It sounded like she said, can't can't imagine?
- 21:16Speaker 1: Why imagine? Why can't I love her makeup? Not the
- 21:23Speaker 1: lit again with assuming the books gender m hmm, period,
- 22:15Speaker 1: his wigs not looking so great with that that big
- 22:17Speaker 1: hat work, Diva. Disney needs to book Tony a lot more.
- 22:24Speaker 1: He's really working for the Disney medium. So that's their
- 22:37Speaker 1: origin story. They like got a book and set something
- 22:40Speaker 1: on fire and then they were like eating children there.
- 22:44Speaker 1: That's kind of like a big leap to me, is
- 22:48Speaker 1: this making Trainer? It sounds like it. Are you a
- 22:52Speaker 1: true true trainer? You know, I am just kidding. I know,
- 22:55Speaker 1: like four songs, that's a lot. I don't know that

- 26:19Speaker 1: He seriously thinks she's a witch. A quiz on a

- 26:26Speaker 1: would give a quiz every day. M hm? Is she
- 26:34Speaker 1: naming milk alors alternatives? She also said Garbonzo is there

- 31:59Speaker 1: what a virgin was really Yeah, whoa, and now we
- 32:05Speaker 1: have this fucking podcast. I have no idea when I
- 32:08Speaker 1: learned who is this guy? Boom? M hm m what
- 33:11Speaker 1: do you think the black flame candle smells like? Like?
- 33:14Speaker 1: What's its boy smells? Um? I was going to send

- 33:20Speaker 1: is the scent ums? Like lard and black licorice jasmine. No,
- 33:25Speaker 1: like the food deu bois or whenever it's called. Okay,
- 33:39Speaker 1: I see what kind of girl you are. Oh, I
- 33:48Speaker 1: don't think this is appropriate. That is a kind of
- 33:52Speaker 1: questionable shape. M what does she know? She's giving suspicious?
- 34:32Speaker 1: He was great, okay, soundstage. M Oh, they're going to
- 35:06Speaker 1: start a forest fire. Actually, I guess it's the East coast.
- 35:09Speaker 1: There's humidity. All their clothing is from coals. Diviny Coles cash,
- 35:26Speaker 1: I was no, not anymore. I was gonna say it's
- 35:28Speaker 1: giving a little a sous, but actually Coles does feel
- 35:32Speaker 1: more accurate. Is that shell silverstein? They're going to look
- 35:52Speaker 1: and m they really did that. Those leaves look dry
- 36:13Speaker 1: as hell. Okay, Gretta, it's a trick candle. I hate
- 36:18Speaker 1: those Those are the worst at birthdays. Oh my god,
- 36:25Speaker 1: oh Dune Dune, Donna done, Dune Dune. The song is
- 36:37Speaker 1: so imaginative. It was just sex. Imagine the Sex of
- 36:41Speaker 1: the City theme song started. I can hear it. Samantha
- 36:47Speaker 1: comes out and just like that, they should have cast
- 36:50Speaker 1: him control and the witch at the beginning. Kim Control
- 36:54Speaker 1: is gonna be the cameo she wouldn't do and just
- 36:57Speaker 1: like that, but she'll do Hocus focus too, But she
- 37:00Speaker 1: never filmed any since Sarah Jessica Parker, Oh no, uh,
- 37:19Speaker 1: oh my god, it's giving Breaking Dawn Part two. How
- 37:26Speaker 1: much was this candle? This candle like they got it
- 37:29Speaker 1: for free? Right it was a gift gift with purchase
- 37:47Speaker 1: hey yah yeahm m hm m work. That was such
- 38:07Speaker 1: a good entrance. Wow, fuck it up. She lived, she served,
- 38:16Speaker 1: she died, she came back to life, She died again,
- 38:18Speaker 1: She came back to life again. Music number right away.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, I have goose bumps. Rose and I
- 38:33Speaker 1: are swinging right now. Fully is this an original song?
- 38:36Speaker 1: I think so? Or Oh my god, Sarah watching her
- 38:46Speaker 1: do this after and just like that, it's crazy insane.
- 38:54Speaker 1: The song isn't her versatility actually? H m hm who
- 39:02Speaker 1: are they performing to. I'm not gonna lie s jump scare.
- 39:34Speaker 1: That's what I was referencing earlier. I get it, I
- 39:37Speaker 1: get it. What if it's revealed to them in the
- 39:54Speaker 1: movie that the book is trans and now you says
- 39:55Speaker 1: she her pronounce well J. K. Rowling would not like
- 40:00Speaker 1: that in this movie, not her witch World as HP
- 40:13Speaker 1: is wig is good. Who's as JP? It's just the
- 40:20Speaker 1: brow is better. H m hm. Oh my god, They're
- 41:03Speaker 1: gonna become makeup influencers. Not time Hack. She's so good,
- 41:31Speaker 1: it's really good. She's so funny, like you forget that.
- 41:35Speaker 1: She's like a great physical comedian. And the three of
- 41:42Speaker 1: them have an incredible chemistry. Do you think they've hooked up?
- 41:47Speaker 1: Maybe Bet and Cathy. I'm looking that up on a
- 41:50Speaker 1: oh three when we're finished. These bitches fall for the
- 41:57Speaker 1: same tricks every time they do Walgreens. Wow, she says,
- 42:02Speaker 1: sickening they're supporting Big Farma. I'm well, I'm sure Walgreens
- 42:07Speaker 1: like is owned by Disney or owns Disney. M h
- 42:42Speaker 1: m hm. Smart. That was a far joke. We were like, yeah,
- 42:57Speaker 1: me going into a convenience store stone fully hyah huh. Oh,

- 43:35Speaker 1: Did you see the doctor teals call the teleport? H
- 43:59Speaker 1: m hm m. It would be cool if this movie
- 44:19Speaker 1: took a hard turn and they fully cannibalized the children,
- 44:22Speaker 1: or if they just started doing a beauty tutorial, not eating.

- 47:50Speaker 1: I have one. It's fine, it doesn't work in that
- 47:53Speaker 1: I don't use She on a hoverboard, she's on room bus.
- 47:57Speaker 1: I think that's really fun. M hm. But like the
- 48:08Speaker 1: Walgreens would sell brooms if they sold swift for wet jats,
- 48:11Speaker 1: so they would just have a regular as room. H
- 48:29Speaker 1: m hm m hm M. So Sam Richardson is also
- 49:04Speaker 1: a witch. He's helping them. Yeah, he's evil. You think

- 1:01:41Speaker 1: sex and the City characters, that Aiden, what is the
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: one that laid down the pipe? Yeah? You think? I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: think Carrie and Mr Bike had better sexual chemistry because
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: they just had that thing. But I think Aiden laid
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: it down down. And also I think he was into
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: some kinky ship. Yeah. Probably, he's probably really fucked up.

- 1:23:01Speaker 1: gonna are gonna clean up the salt. They're gonna suck
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: it up. Wow, capitalism once again allied to evil. It's
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: actually very clever. The screenwriters. They snapped, Ah, that's not
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: how roombas work, though they're very fickle. The Sanderson's sisters
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: are now canonically women in stem Oh oh oh, she
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: enters the Marvel Cinematic universe. It's Disney. I know, that's

- 1:29:40Speaker 1: leaning in. She has girl bossing. Oh m hm, yeah,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: she's talking in the book Rose called it. That would
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: be devastating. Can you imagine your favorite book choosing someone
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: else instead of you. I would be pretty surprised that
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: my book was sent sent Bett Miller is acting her
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: ass off m hm m h m hm m her sisters,
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: h m hm. I love Cathy's little finger guns. Yeah,

- 1:36:04Speaker 1: that's a This is a beautiful message about Joes, Chose
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: and the actual family. Their sisters, well, you don't know,
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: they're biological sisters. M they're like sisters twiddling the dolls,
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: the dolls, the diva dolls. M oh, alright, okay, but
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: now she's all powerful, so just killed them all. He's like,

- 1:40:04Speaker 1: I'm touched. I'm my heart is warmed, mine is cold.
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: I knew it. I knew the book was gonna cry.

- 1:41:18Speaker 1: forgive him? Yes? He was cursed. It wasn't his fault
- 1:41:26Speaker 1: he was. I have no idea. I just repeated what
- 1:41:28Speaker 1: Phoebe said. No, but I thought at the beginning he
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: was just like liked the Sanderson sisters. He was a fan.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: Oh oh, I thought he just saw them. Oh whatever,
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: yeah they should kiss. Huh oh no, Billy, h m
- 1:42:00Speaker 1: hm that you were gay? What do you think it's
- 1:42:28Speaker 1: gay about him? Like the scarf? I think what's gay
- 1:42:32Speaker 1: about him is he likes sucking chicken balls. You can
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: just tell yeah, like that when he was wander around
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: their woods with no head on. It's like slick got
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: up stock at a hole. Shut up. H m hm

- 1:44:25Speaker 1: I don't think so. Okay, Well, let's I mean we
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: can get No, don't don't stop it. Let's like, oh
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: work okay, okay. Be fully was like I'll only do
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: a third number if it's in a recording booth s JP.
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: They really turned out. Yeah, this is not one of
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: the better June songs. They did not get lin Manuel
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: for this lin Manuel, Yeah, I don't know. Again, it's
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: giving clee cast version. Yeah, like barely voices like percent
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: auto tune. I love them. I don't care. I love
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: them too. Lunch is so funny. Well that was a movie.
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: Is that your day? Um? Okay, so skip credits. Does
- 1:46:13Speaker 1: that mean there's a post credit scene? Maybe? Plus press
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: skip credits and see what happens. There is a post
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: there is a post credit scene. Okay, So if you've
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: been watching this, also skip skip to the post credit scene.
- 1:46:25Speaker 1: We're starting it now. There's a black cat. But there's
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: no way there's going to be another sequel. What is
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: this setting up? Uh? No fucking way. Well, I don't
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: think there's gonna be a third one. Oh no way.
- 1:46:57Speaker 1: And let me tell you, Bette Midler is actually really
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: different called to book like she is like, I feel
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: like I've heard this and I that's the thing about
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: all of this that will make the three Quelt not hot.
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: I think so because I think as TP and Kathen
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: and Jimi are like probably a lot more book. You
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: know what I mean. But that is amazing. She was great. Okay,
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: what did you think? That's what I thought. I felt
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: like that was the three of them, like we're so
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: um compelling. Yeah, I didn't care about any time they
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: weren't on a screen. I felt like the climax was
- 1:47:27Speaker 1: kind of I didn't have as much of a climax
- 1:47:30Speaker 1: I felt. But other than that, I honestly thought it
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: was great. It was fine. It was definitely giving d
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: calm Disney Channel original movie for anyone who does, which
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: is what I wanted. Yeah. No, I like that the
- 1:47:41Speaker 1: original was was darker. Oh yeah, that's true, very light.
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: I didn't even think about that. You know that the
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: witches were amazing, but I did not care about anything
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: else that happened at all. And the musical number it
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: wasn't great. I liked it. I I it wasn't as
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: memorable as you know the one. But this, this in
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: no way will be as iconic as the first one. No,
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: it could never be. There's no sequel that could that
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: could talk. But it's not even like Mama Mia, here
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: we go again levels of like at least being a
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: glorious mess of this exists. Yeah, no, I agree with that.
- 1:48:24Speaker 1: I mean, I haven't seen all of Mama Mia. Here
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: we go again because I have my repeated attack girl.
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: This is another movie that I skimmed on an airplane.
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: I went into the share part. I literally skipped over.
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: But I don't even care about you watching Momma too.
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: You just need to watch Mama Mia right after I
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: watch Disobedience. Um. Um, Sarah, Jessico Barker amazing, Cathine and
- 1:48:47Speaker 1: Jimmie amazing. Um. Glad to see Tony Hale getting booked. Yeah,
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: I mean and with Sam Richards and it was like
- 1:48:54Speaker 1: I thought it was interesting that they tried to inject
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: like kind of mumble cord humor and to it like
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: the like the VP actors. But I feel like, yeah,
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: I will be looking up Billy and that guy fan
- 1:49:07Speaker 1: fiction after this, or writing well if none exists. Um.
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: The young Sanderson sisters were great. I already forgot about
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: something for the one who played Sarah. She was boring. Well,
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: they couldn't. She she's a child. She can't be a bimbo,
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: so she could only be dumb. But she was just
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: like doing a lot. Um. This movie was so there's
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: a show that they do at Disney during Halloween, which
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: is like like the Sanderson Sisters Live was Pocus live,
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: but not at them. This was no, not with them.
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: This was giving that it was giving. I had fun,
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: but like, will I ever watch this again? No, but
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: I will continue to watch Hocus Pocus every year Halloween.
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: I appreciated seeing them on screen again. I thought like
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: watching them interact was endlessly entertain and I'm glad that
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: they went for it. And it never felt like they
- 1:50:03Speaker 1: were like I guess I'm doing this. There was no
- 1:50:06Speaker 1: like eye rolling. They were committed to the bit and
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: they did it. And you know, I know they made
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: a lot of money. They have to be contracted for
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: a third movie. Why they really teased a third movie,
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: but also they teased a sequel in the first movie
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: and it took well, I mean it happened, but it
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: took twenty nine years because Bette Midler is hard to book.
- 1:50:35Speaker 1: I don't want a third movie, but this was fun. Um,
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: thank you all for listening to our first ever live
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: way the DVD commentary. Baby Yes, um let us know
- 1:50:47Speaker 1: if you want us to do this again. Um, slide
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: into our d M s at like a virgin four nine.
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Thank you so much Producer Phoebe for being here with
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: us and experiencing this. Um we're more popcorn honestly, and UM,
- 1:51:02Speaker 1: Happy Halloween, everybody. See you on Thursday, See you later,
