Schools Delay Start to Conserve Water | Lexington News
Casey County Schools are delaying the start of the school year by a full week due to a critical water shortage, but they’re making up for lost time by adding five minutes to each school day. To conserve water, sports teams now get bottled water, summer pressure washing and bus washing have been halted, and schools are switching to bottled water inside buildings to cut down on fountain use.
