- 0:10Welcome to read Reality TV Cringe. I am one of your hosts, Delia,
- 0:14and I'm here with my real tight homegirl and my daughter in law Beatrice.
- 0:19Save me. How are you doing? Doing great? Now that I'm
- 0:22with you? We have so much content to go over. Tonight we are
- 0:26going to be reviewing the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville and also the latest
- 0:31episode of ninety Day Fiance. Two totally different vibes, Yes, totally different
- 0:37vibes. And I took all the notes and such for Plathville and you did
- 0:41for ninety Day Fiance. But I just have to say, going right in,
- 0:45I didn't mind the music tonight on Plathfill I didn't either. I thought
- 0:49it was so wholesome. I had a tear ball you did, and it
- 0:53wasn't just because of the music, but it was for this family and everything
- 0:56this family has been through. See I know me too. It's very very
- 1:00sweet and sad. Yeah, very sad. And Mariah's to blame one hundred
- 1:04I'm drinking. I know she's not, but no, I thought these were.
- 1:07I thought these were actually really excellent episodes. So I'm excited to get
- 1:11started with you. But before we do, we have to give you the
- 1:15disclaimer to hide your wife and hydra kids. This is a politically incorrect podcast.
- 1:21We say a lot of bad words, we have dumb opinions, and
- 1:25we are unapologetic and so if you're we're a final lore here. Also,
- 1:34we got on Instagram at Reality TV Crunch Jane. We got a Patreon Patreon
- 1:38dot com sash Reality TV Crunch. We're covering Love after lock Up on there.
- 1:44We released our first video episode of that two day. Yes. Also,
- 1:49if you are watching on YouTube, please don't forget to like and comment
- 1:52and share and obviously subscribe. Stay connected to the Raccoons. Every little thing
- 1:57you do helps us to grow the Raccoon family. So thank you in advance.
- 2:02All right, now, before we get into the episode of Welcome to
- 2:07Plath Phil, I understand. We got a little message we did on our
- 2:12speak pipe And by the way, if you want to leave us a message,
- 2:15you can talk up to ninety seconds. That's a lot of time.
- 2:17It is a lot of time to tell us what you think. All you
- 2:20have to do is go to Speakpipe, dot com, slash Reality TV Cringe
- 2:24and we'll listen and we might play it as well. Yeah, we got
- 2:29a message. I think her name was Rachel. Okay, hey, girls,
- 2:31love the podcast, keep it up, never stop. I'm here with
- 2:35a hot take on Kim Plath. So I come from a Southern Baptist homeschool
- 2:39family, so I have kind of a weird insider view on her mentality,
- 2:45not excusing anything that she's done wrong, which the things are manifold, but
- 2:49I think Olivia's toxicity and influence on this family goes way farther into the destruction
- 2:54of the family than we even know. And I think that in the preview
- 2:58when Mariah's ad ivie'al responsele, I think it's kind of acknowledging that I think
- 3:02Kim poured her life into a belief system that she was told will give you
- 3:08this Beaver Cleaver family experience. But then her kids grow up, Ethan doesn't
- 3:13talk to her for what years, her seventeen year old moves out. I
- 3:16mean, she's just totally disillusioned. She was wanting this wholesome family life.
- 3:22The church said, do all these things, shelter your kids, homeschool,
- 3:24and you'll get this perfect child in this perfect life. That didn't happen for
- 3:29her, and coupled with the trauma of having run over her child and caused
- 3:32their death. Obviously it was an accident, but I can see how this
- 3:36is a very broken woman and so she looks at you know, she looks
- 3:39over the ocean of her life and is like, this life with Barry was
- 3:43a waste, This was a lie. This didn't turn out the way I
- 3:46was told it was going to. And I think that the divisions that Olivia
- 3:50sewed and kept in that family are a huge contributing factor as to why they're
- 3:53all in shambles right now. What do you guys think? Love the podcast?
- 3:57You guys are awesome and never stop this podcast. I will die.
- 4:02Thank you, Rachel, Thank you Rachel. You're awesome. And that was
- 4:06an interesting take. Yeah, and I think it's pretty based, Like I
- 4:11actually agree with a lot of it, because I think Kim's going through kind
- 4:14of a midlife crisis, Like it probably is because of everything that Olivia did,
- 4:19obviously, but compound that with her oldest children just being like fuck you,
- 4:24Mom, you suck e rasis terribly we hate you essentially for the last
- 4:29couple of years. Like I'm sure that really messed her up. Yeah,
- 4:32and that's the first time I've ever looked at it that way. Yeah.
- 4:35Now, of course, Hosanna, which is the eldest child, she's gone
- 4:39off and she's kind of stayed in the vein of how they brought her up
- 4:44and just kind of perpetuating the same old thing. But Micah moved away started
- 4:48a modeling career, which was certainly not conventional or traditional. Ethan married in
- 4:54a conventional way according to their religion, but that is obviously turned out to
- 4:58be a shit shown Mariah leaving when she's sixteen slash seventeen, and yeah,
- 5:03I can see how she'd look back on the timeline of her life and say,
- 5:06wow, I did all of this. I truly believed it. I
- 5:10didn't eat sugar for all these years. Sugar were all right, okay lady.
- 5:14Nobody did all of these things for my children believing, and it didn't
- 5:17work. None of it worked. Like three out of four of my eldest
- 5:19kids hate me, don't like me, or are gone well go to therapy
- 5:24though yes, strikes me as so freaking checked out. I'm like, what
- 5:29are you doing this season? Kid, because every single episode is tell a
- 5:32different kid about your new lover. Yeah, Ken Palmer, Like nobody cares.
- 5:39We needed to hear that one time, And then how are you making
- 5:42this family heal? Like what are you doing to make sure that your kids
- 5:46feel safe right and included and a part of your life? Like what about
- 5:49that? I'm way more interested in how you are parenting your children, like
- 5:53we see with Barry versus this same thing every single week, right, And
- 5:59maybe it's because it's like the first time you've ever been happy or whatever,
- 6:01or maybe it's the first time you've been happy since Joshua passed. And I
- 6:05get that and everything, but like, slow your role a little bit and
- 6:09step outside of yourself and see how your actions could be harming or impacting all
- 6:14of your children that you decided to have. Regardless of this whole divorce with
- 6:16Barry, you still have all of these kids' lives that you're responsible for and
- 6:19responsible for being a good role model too. So I don't know it's hard
- 6:24for me with Kim because I totally understand and empathize with her, because I
- 6:29mean, she is definitely a broken woman, like Rachel said, And I
- 6:31saw a post recently on Reddit of somebody echoing these same sentiments of being like,
- 6:36well, she was raised by an alcoholic mother and like she was sexually
- 6:40molested or whatever as a kid. So it's like she's had a long history
- 6:45of deep trauma that she probably has never dealt with, honestly. And now
- 6:48you're fifty something and you have a million kids and you're leaving a twenty five
- 6:54year marriage and trying to explore yourself. And that's fine, but like,
- 6:59I don't know good she's doing it in such an immature way. And we
- 7:01were talking a few episodes ago about one of the shows that we cover,
- 7:06and we were saying that like the moment you are significantly traumatized in your life
- 7:14and or like take a massive dose of drugs, you tend to be frozen
- 7:16in time intellectually and emotionally at that age, right, And so we see
- 7:21Kim, who you know, she has told us she was abused, and
- 7:25I think she was molested in this way, and she had an alcoholic mother.
- 7:29She was always being traumatized as a child, and then she had continued
- 7:32trauma in her marriage, especially when Joshua passed. I think she's frozen in
- 7:36time intellectually. I think she's frozen in time emotionally. I don't think she
- 7:41knows how to emote in a healthy way. Yeah, I feel like she's
- 7:45numb, checked out and just trying to get her box eight. Yeah,
- 7:47I think that's life. She really thinks that's life. I have to tell
- 7:50you, though, with regard to Welcome to plathfil something really chapped my hide.
- 7:55And it's when Ethan's coming back to pick up his car, but really
- 7:58to see his family, and he's sitting down with Barry, and Barry is
- 8:01so happy to talk with him, and Ethan is like so happy to be
- 8:05there, and Ethan is talking to him about his new job loading trucks,
- 8:11moving boxes, and he's sitting next to his father, who's college educated and
- 8:16who has a bomb ass job. I don't know what that job is,
- 8:18but I know that it allowed him to afford all of these multiple properties.
- 8:24He's well off, he's well educated, and you're sitting next to your twenty
- 8:28four year old son who can only load boxes onto a truck because you never
- 8:31gave him an education, You never equipped him for this life. To me,
- 8:35the weight of that regret is also what might be keeping Kim completely numbed.
- 8:43Because if she allowed herself to feel anything, can you imagine in an
- 8:48honest and authentic way to really feel the gravity of what she has done to
- 8:52her kids, Like, how do you go on? I mean really after
- 8:56all of that, plus with her accidentally over Joshua and everything, Like,
- 9:01dude, I don't even know how she functions even the way that she does
- 9:05right now. Like, I know she's immature and she's emotionally disconnected, but
- 9:09like I feel like she kind of has to be in order to go through
- 9:11life because of the shit that she has done to everybody around her. It's
- 9:16like and Bury too and Barry too complicit. If I'm Barry in this moment,
- 9:20I'm like, what can I do to get my son into a new
- 9:24job, into a new trade, into a new profession. Although Ethan is
- 9:28very handy and he can own his own mechanic shop if you, oh,
- 9:31there's a lot of things that he can do and that he has done.
- 9:33But I would be like, what can I do to help my kids right
- 9:37now? Right? I don't know. I just felt like the juxtaposition of
- 9:39where they were both in life, and Ethan doesn't have the same advantages that
- 9:45Barry had. No, he took them all away from their kids, plus
- 9:48their celebrations, they yep, those all away, Yeah, And that is
- 9:52sad. It's fucked up. All right, Let's get into the last episode
- 9:56of Welcome to Plaithvill season five, episode ten, entitled I I Am Not
- 10:00Bound to Please. I'm so tired of I'm not bound to Please. We
- 10:05open with Ethan making his way to Kroe. He's obviously going to pick up
- 10:11one of his cars, but really he's going to be there to see his
- 10:13siblings. He misses them quite a lot. Yeah, we have Olivia on
- 10:18the couch talking about how there has been a shift with Ethan since they arrived
- 10:22in Minnesota, because there was a block of time that Ethan was not talking
- 10:26to his family at all. But his family has been reaching out and Ethan
- 10:31has been talking to them, and now there's a change in his spirit and
- 10:35he seems more interested to engage with his family. So that's why he's going.
- 10:39And he hasn't called Olivia, He's only sent her a text. Yep.
- 10:45And Olivia is not necessarily happy about him changing his relationship with his family
- 10:50either, because she says in her talking head, I told him he needs
- 10:52to keep me updated, and then the next thing I know, he's making
- 10:56plans without me and he's lying to me. I'm like well, I don't
- 11:00know about that. I don't know if he's necessarily lying to And also,
- 11:03is it really your business to know what he's doing with his family. If
- 11:07he's trying to mend the relationships with his family, and he's not making you
- 11:11go, he's not putting you in an unsafer compromising position by being around his
- 11:16family, which trigger you so much. He is going by himself. He's
- 11:20made that decision to let you be at home, and you're still not okay
- 11:24with it. It's just really fucked up to me. He's damned if he
- 11:26does, and he's damned if he doesn't. Yeah, and so he's just
- 11:30like, Okay, well, I'm going to go. I'm not going to
- 11:31have endless phone calls with you where you're making me feel bad because I want
- 11:35to have a relationship with my family. And if I brought you this entire
- 11:39time down, you would be preparing me on how I'm supposed to act with
- 11:43my family, and I'd have all of these conditions and you'd be gate keeping
- 11:46my connection with these people. And I don't want that. It's too much.
- 11:50So just give me a break, let me see my family for real,
- 11:52and I'm happy be free for real hashtag for a little beron. So
- 11:56he gets to the Plath home and opened the door and all the little girls,
- 12:03so Ethan and mic Go's there, Yeah, what did you think?
- 12:07I thought this was so sweet? And Micah was saying that this is like
- 12:11the first time him and Ethan have really been at home together in a really
- 12:15long time, so it's really special. And Ethan talks about how he's kind
- 12:20of thought about missing out on the little kids's lives and everything over the past
- 12:24few years, but he says something pretty interesting. He's like, I don't
- 12:28think anything would have changed it though, Like it doesn't matter if I was
- 12:31in a different headspace or whatever back then, Like it still would have happened
- 12:35the way it needed to happen. So I don't want to dwell on it.
- 12:37And I'm like, dang, okay, Yeah he's been introspecting. Yeah,
- 12:41I think he does ask the kids whether Kim has been around, and
- 12:46they're like every now and again, maybe every couple of weeks, So she's
- 12:50not spending a whole lot of time with her family. Maybe they're going over
- 12:52to the dance studio apartment. Yeah maybe, I don't think so. And
- 12:58I also think she has since relooked to somewhere in Florida, which is something
- 13:01I heard probably on Reddit, so don't take my word for it, but
- 13:05I think she's spending a lot of time in Florida, so I don't even
- 13:07know if she's around that much. Those poor girls, yikes. Yes,
- 13:11it's a bummer. They go into the living room and they start playing the
- 13:15guitar and singing. I love this so much. It was really wholesome.
- 13:20Yeah, and I loved it. I love it a lot. I come
- 13:24from a musical family and we all play instruments and shit, and I just
- 13:26loved this so much because both Mica and Ethan start playing the guitar and the
- 13:33girls are like a little singing with them. I'm just like my heart.
- 13:37It's like the thread that connects all of them. And when we get to
- 13:41Mariah and Lydia, we also have a musical thread there, and I just
- 13:46thought it was really special, which is saying something because of course we usually
- 13:48lament anytime Mariah opens her mouth to sing for real, but this was actually
- 13:54pretty lovely. After this, we bop on over to Victoria, Minnesota,
- 13:58and Olivia is meeting with some RANDO person who's not actually her friend. It's
- 14:01a producer plant, and we're having a conversation with this person so that Olivia
- 14:07can start to discuss how she feels about her wedding vows and where she is
- 14:11right now with her relationship with Ethan. I felt the entire scene was disingenuous.
- 14:18Yep. I think she is currently as we're watching, she's currently on
- 14:22a campaign to start to malign Ethan, especially when she's sitting on that couch
- 14:28girl and she's talking about how Ethan doesn't want to have kids with me,
- 14:31he doesn't want me to be able to influence our children, he doesn't want
- 14:35our kids to be anything like me. Those are such vilifying statements. Yep.
- 14:41Do we believe her? Is there a kernel of truth here with that?
- 14:46I'm sure there is a kernel of truth in that. Ethan's like,
- 14:48well, we have very different opposing views, and I don't want you to
- 14:52like tell our kids that my beliefs are shitty or vice versa. Like it's
- 14:56probably something like that right where he tried to explain it to her, like
- 15:01we need to come to some kind of agreement, Like it's fine if we
- 15:03differ on some things, but if we are so far apart on these major
- 15:09issues and how are we going to raise kids? Like that's a valid that's
- 15:11super responsible and enlightened. Yes, yes, so I think she's totally,
- 15:16like you said, on a campaign to make him evil. So didn't he
- 15:22ask in this season alone, like twice when they're having kids? That's the
- 15:26thing too, Like he has been asking her for children, yep. And
- 15:28the way she's trying to contextualize it now is like, no, he's saying
- 15:33no to children because me and my value. Yeah, okay, in my
- 15:37integrity, he does someone have kids with me? But yeah, me too,
- 15:41because I feel like he's been asking you for kids and you're probably the
- 15:43one. But that's just me and my bias with the lamp. I'm so
- 15:46biased against her because I just don't believe anything that she says. So at
- 15:50this conversation with this Lady Maya, she's talking about her vows and how when
- 15:54she took her vows and we see a flashback she vowed to let ethan lead,
- 16:00to obey, to follow, and how now you're of our Lord twenty
- 16:04twenty two when this is being filmed, she just doesn't feel that way anymore
- 16:08because she wants to be an equal, which I think is valid. But
- 16:12do we think that Ethan doesn't want her to be an equal or doesn't treat
- 16:18her like an equal, because I think Ethan accommodates and adjusts his entire life
- 16:23for her. Yep, all the time, hence all the time moving every
- 16:26single year, and he's like, every time we move, it sets me
- 16:30back. Yeah, And I'm thinking, does that mean in your career,
- 16:33in what you're trying to build for yourself, how does it set you back?
- 16:37But I believe him, Oh yeah, but he does it anyway because
- 16:40she's an equal partner or more in that relationship. What did you think He's
- 16:44always standing up for her, He's always trying to comfort her, and he's
- 16:47trying his best, even though he comes from a fucked up family that doesn't
- 16:51know how to communicate properly or emote like real human beings like, He's trying
- 16:55his best to deal with Olivia and her irrationalities, but it's never good enough
- 17:00for her. And the whole wedding vow thing. I've watched this episode three
- 17:03times and I noticed on the third time, when she's telling her friend Maya,
- 17:07my vows were to obey and submit to him. Then the producers do
- 17:11a really nice, dirty edit, and the vows that they showed were just
- 17:15her saying, I've out to respect you and love you, and like treat
- 17:18your opinion like it would be mine, and like respect to you and just
- 17:22be a good wife. Like there's nothing in there that says I'm I'm vowing
- 17:26to obey you one hundred percent and be the dutiful what's that Handmaid's tale?
- 17:30Like she's acting like it's that, and it's not that. Like marriage is
- 17:34about mutual respect. You've never respected Ethan. That's clear in your all of
- 17:40your actions from the last several years, and now you're going to flip the
- 17:44script and say that it's him this whole entire time. I'm not buying it.
- 17:47I want it, Yeah, I just don't see it in terms of
- 17:48the facts and what we're seeing on film. And it feels like Ethan does
- 17:52a whole lot to make sure that you're happy. And I really think that
- 17:56Ethan expected your relationship to vastly improve once you got to Minnesota because you had
- 18:03been telling him the reason that you're unhappy and miserable is because of his family,
- 18:07and so if he takes you away from his family. This is going
- 18:10to give you the opportunity to build into a new marriage, but no,
- 18:14you immediately start separating yourself more. And one thing I wanted to point out
- 18:18here at the beginning of this conversation with Maya, Maya's like, what's up.
- 18:22What you been up to? And She's like, oh, just bartending
- 18:23school. And I think Maya's like, have you been traveling? And She's
- 18:27like a couple of trips coming up here and there, but not much.
- 18:32And then when we get to Barry in Ethan, yeah, Barry's like,
- 18:36so is Olivia traveling a lot for her photography business? And Ethan's like,
- 18:40I can't even keep up. She's always gone, you know. She'll tell
- 18:44me she's not going to be here, and I'm just like, oh,
- 18:45okay, I don't even know where she's going. That something about that sat
- 18:49a little weird with me, Like is she traveling and going places and doing
- 18:55things with other people? Telling Ethan that it's for her business, I wouldn't
- 19:00be surprised when really she's going to Saint Lucia for another reason, Because may
- 19:06I remind you on watch What Happens Live, yea like girl implied that if
- 19:11anybody in that relationship cheated Ethan or Olivia. It wasn't going to be Ethan.
- 19:15Yeah, it was gonna be Olivia. So I'm like, where are
- 19:18you going? Girl? And what are you doing? Girl? She got
- 19:21the seven year itch. There's got to be some kind of playing around here
- 19:25or whatever, because her whole story that she's unhappy because of Ethan's family is
- 19:30bullshit now that we're in this season. And that's fine. If you're unhappy
- 19:33with Ethan, like more power to you, and you deserve to like get
- 19:37out of an unhappy marriage and be happy with somebody else, that's fine.
- 19:40Just be fucking authentic about it. You can't help but like throw them under
- 19:45the bus and have these nasty digs and these passive aggressive conversations with these fake
- 19:49ass friends that you don't even care about, don't even know, like mind
- 19:53you this whole conversation with her friend, like she's only talking about herself too.
- 19:56So I'm just like, this is so stupid. I can't stand here.
- 20:00Stupid. And as she's on the couch, the producer asks her,
- 20:03are you thinking about walking away from your marriage? And she says something like,
- 20:10well, I mean it's not my choice, but at the same time,
- 20:15you know, I'm thinking about what it is that I want to do
- 20:18for myself. But so she's implying again that this is not something that she
- 20:22actually wants to do, that this is more Ethan's choice. Just like Ethan
- 20:25doesn't want to have children with me, Ethan also doesn't want to be married
- 20:27to me. When Ethan in his talking heads this whole episode, this whole
- 20:32season, is like, I hope me and Olivia can work things out.
- 20:34I love her so much, I care about her so deeply. All I
- 20:37want to do is work on my relationship with Olivia. And when Barry invites
- 20:41him to the California trip, Ethan's like, I don't want to go because
- 20:45I want to work on things with Olivia, right, So, like that's
- 20:48all that's been his first priority this whole entire time, And Olivia is implying
- 20:52that he's going to leave her. Okay, I mean I kind of hope
- 20:53he does leave her. Yeah, I would be so shocked if he's the
- 20:57one who initiates this divorce because spoiler, they are now separated and on their
- 21:02way to a divorce. But I don't know. I still think she's puppet
- 21:04master orchestrating the entire thing and trying from this point on to frame him as
- 21:10the bad guy in the relationship when the fact of the matter is oliviy,
- 21:12you've just changed. And you know what, that's okay. You married him
- 21:15when you were eighteen years old or nineteen years old. You were young,
- 21:18you didn't know you were You hadn't lived on your own yet, you got
- 21:21out on your own, you were able to develop your passions and your interests.
- 21:25You discovered that this guy's never going to change. He's got his values,
- 21:29his core values, and his beliefs. Yours shifted and started to grow
- 21:33change. And that is entirely okay. But call it what it is.
- 21:37You don't have to demonize him as you're walking out the door. Yeah,
- 21:41exactly, You just don't have to do that. Gross Okay. So after
- 21:45this we head on back to kro Georgia, where Barry gets off work and
- 21:48he sits down with Ethan. And I thought this was a really beautiful scene
- 21:53because and Ethan if even references how just a little while ago he almost got
- 22:00into a physical altercation with his father. Yeah, but they've come a long
- 22:04way. And what this says about Barry is that he's forgiving, he's quick
- 22:10to forgive, and also that he prioritizes and truly loves his children and wants
- 22:15a relationship with his kids. And so they're just having a regular schmegular conversation.
- 22:21Bearr's like, what are you down here for? Are you here for
- 22:22your cars? And Ethan said, well, yeah, but also to see
- 22:26you and the siblings. That's the main reason I'm here. That was so
- 22:30freaking sweet, And like Barry just has the biggest smile on his face his
- 22:33whole entire time, like actually emoting like a human being, and it's just
- 22:37really like wholesome. And I love that Ethan has grown enough too to like
- 22:41move past some of his anger with his dad too, and like look at
- 22:45him, like, wow, he's actually really changed and prioritized us, And
- 22:48I really appreciate that. And so I hope that this is just like the
- 22:52start of them mending things and like the whole family kind of coming back together,
- 22:56because it seems like all of the siblings are missing this big family unit
- 23:02that they grew up with. And I mean, why wouldn't you, like
- 23:04if you had a decent enough childhood, despite like the homeschooling and the religious
- 23:10indoctrination and like all of that stuff, all that aside, they at least
- 23:14had like a family that seemed to love each other. You know, absolutely,
- 23:18yes, they were knitted together and they shared a lot of values.
- 23:22And you can tell that the kids, the older kids, look back on
- 23:26that really fondly. Yeah. And I think this is why Ethan is returning
- 23:30to Georgia because he needs this. He can feel his relationship with Olivia falling
- 23:33apart. They are no longer on the same page, and he just needs
- 23:37kind of that soft place to land, which is his family. And Barry
- 23:41is just the perfect parent here giving him that soft place. So happy to
- 23:45see you, son. It's like the prodigal son from the Bible. Yeah,
- 23:47and the son comes the wayward son comes back, and the father is
- 23:49doesn't matter where you've been, w you've been with lying down with pigs,
- 23:55which you know, we don't mean to say that's Olivia well land down because
- 23:59you're let's have a party. Like he's just got that energy and I really
- 24:03love to see it. He asks about Olivia and her business, and to
- 24:07the camera, Barry says, you know, my main thing is I want
- 24:11to just connect with Ethan. Yeah, it's really awesome that he's home.
- 24:15I want to make sure this relationship is on track, and you know,
- 24:18at some point in the future I would love to get things back on track
- 24:22with Olivia so we can be civil, we can be in the same room
- 24:26at functions, and we can at least be superficially nice. That was great,
- 24:30right, that was so good. And like, even with all of
- 24:33this too, Ethan in his talking head is like, you know, Dad's
- 24:37opening up to me about the divorce and all of that, but I don't
- 24:40want to get into anything with Olivia because that will just make tensions worse.
- 24:42And I want to ask you why, why would that make tensions worse?
- 24:47Because Olivia would be mad about it, or they would be mad about it.
- 24:49Oh, Barry in them the family might not like Olivia even more.
- 24:55Yeah, so it would make that chasm even wider. Oh that it totally
- 24:59would, Yeah, totally would. Yeah, but Olivia probably wouldn't want Ethan
- 25:03to be talking about her, yeah at all. So he does seem pretty
- 25:07stiff, stiff lipped even when he's talking, for example, with Micah.
- 25:11Yeah, you can tell his face is really red and he doesn't want to
- 25:15say much. But he also really really wants somebody to talk to. Yeah,
- 25:18he has nobody to talk to about it. He does not. He
- 25:22asks Barry about Kim. Yeah, and he doesn't even say mom, he
- 25:26doesn't. He says Kim. Yeah. He's like, so, Kim's not
- 25:27around right, not at the house anymore. And Barry's like, yeah,
- 25:32she moved out. I'm like, dang. And Barry says that they have
- 25:36like fifty percent custody or whatever, so she gets the kids fifty percent of
- 25:41the time. But then the kids when Ethan came by or whatever, said,
- 25:45oh, she's here every now and then. Right. Interesting, I
- 25:48wonder where the truth is with that. I don't know. It's not with
- 25:51Kim. The truth is not in Kim. This scene ends with Barry inviting
- 25:56Ethan to join him and Isaac as they travel out to La to visit Micah,
- 26:00and Ethan just gets this smile that honestly we really haven't seen since season
- 26:04one that nooish, Oh my gosh, I'm gonna hang out with my dad
- 26:07and my bros. This is awesome. He gets a smile that makes me
- 26:12really see and believe that he wants to come back into the fold with his
- 26:18family and this is why Olivia is so threatened. Yeah, this is why
- 26:22Olivia is so put out because she ain't gonna stop him. This is what
- 26:26he wants. He wants to go home, yep. And that's why she
- 26:29Maybe that's why she leaves, because she's like, oh, you want to
- 26:30get back together together with your family and then cool, peace out. I'm
- 26:34gonna find myself, right. She will take that as a rejection as opposed
- 26:40to helping him to make that connection and doing whatever she can so that he's
- 26:44healthy and happy and has what he needs. And she is healthy and happy
- 26:47and has what she needs, which I think Ethan wants her. But she
- 26:49can't do it. Yeah, she doesn't know how to do it. Next,
- 26:52we go to Tampa and we have this scene with Mariah and Lydia and
- 26:59I thought this was sweet. When they pulled out the speaker to play some
- 27:03of their music, I was like, is this going to be your solo
- 27:06songbook music? Because it's so I need a dress. I braced myself for
- 27:10it. But they pulled up some of their old gospel songs and we were
- 27:15able to see some of the photographs from when they were a Christian traveling band.
- 27:21Yeah, they did that for a few years. Yeah, they have
- 27:23two whole albums out. I went and looked them up and everything, my
- 27:26gosh, and it's all auto tuned, which I'm like, Mariah and Lydia,
- 27:30do you not know auto tune exists for your own singles? Like,
- 27:33I feel like it would have been a lot better. May I make a
- 27:36recommendation? But it's cute because they play one of the songs and then both
- 27:40of the girls start singing again, and I'm like, oh, my gosh,
- 27:42I'm feeling something in my old dead heart. And then they play a
- 27:47song that Mariah doesn't recognize and it's actually Ethan singing, you know, And
- 27:52I was like, this is so sweet. It was so cute. And
- 27:55Ethan's voice kind of reminded me of my grandfather's, like that old timey like
- 28:00just like sweet Christian guy singing, because I Poppy used to do that.
- 28:03He used to play the guitar and everything and just sing old timey songs.
- 28:07So I really loved that. I did too. Lydia's like, wouldn't it
- 28:11be cool if we could get the whole family back together. We could just
- 28:14sing some of these songs together again. Awesome and Mariah gets really morose,
- 28:21her face kind of falls, and we start talking once again about her troubles
- 28:26with Ethan and how she has blocked Ethan and Ethan can't talk to me that
- 28:30way, and that there were issues which you know, we've already heard before,
- 28:34so we don't necessarily have to talk about again, because the more interesting
- 28:37thing that she ends up saying to Lydia is that she blames herself for the
- 28:42downfall of her family. She thinks that trashing her family publicly on the national
- 28:51stage visa vis this show, throwing them under the bus, talking mad shit
- 28:56about her parents is what led. Maybe that was the first chink in the
- 29:00armor of the family, but it led to its ultimate destruction. And you
- 29:04know what, I don't want to put that on her, because the divorce
- 29:08between Barry and Kim, that's on them. But at the same time,
- 29:12I feel like she and I don't want to put this on her, but
- 29:15I feel like she did a lot of damage to this family and the culture
- 29:18of this family and shaming this family and like trying to humiliate her parents.
- 29:26And she says Olivia is partly responsible for that course, because of course I
- 29:30think we think Olivia was the pied piper trying to lead those children out of
- 29:34the Plath family. But it was ultimately Mariah's decision and MICA's decision, and
- 29:41Ethan's decision, yep, to throw them under the bus. And maybe that
- 29:44was the first wobble for Kim. Maybe. And I mean, she talks
- 29:48about the ripple effect, like once you have one division in the family,
- 29:51it just rips and rips and rips until there's this huge cavern between everybody.
- 29:56And so I was happy to see her take a little bit of respond just
- 30:00because that's good for growth, like personal growth and just understanding how your actions
- 30:06affect everybody else. And I thought it was interesting how part of her frustration
- 30:10with Ethan comes from this idea that he hasn't really stood up for the family.
- 30:15Yes, and he's been trashing that too too. Yeah, And so
- 30:18I'm like, Okay, so you were trashing the family. Now you've come
- 30:21around, and now you're frustrated that Ethan is still trashing the family or still
- 30:25has his anger that we did it in the first place, because he's the
- 30:27eldest son. And yeah, whether Mariah was selfish or not, the fact
- 30:32of the matter was she was sixteen years old, right, seventeen years old,
- 30:36Ethan, you were an adult and your wife was doing what she was
- 30:40doing. And so I think she's really disappointed that Ethan allowed that to happen,
- 30:45yeah, and allowed even her and Mica to say the things that they
- 30:49did yeah about the family and even celebrate when they did right, and not
- 30:55say anything, not do anything about it. He just let it happen for
- 30:57years, and he's still kind of complicit in it because he's not willing to
- 31:03admit that Olivia is the problem in the family, which I really hope if
- 31:07we get another season. I'm sorry to interrupt you, but if we get
- 31:10another season, I really hope we get some truth out of that gay please,
- 31:12I really hope. But I'm kind of worried, Like with how his
- 31:15Instagram post was when they announced their separation, he was very like short with
- 31:21his words, careful with him. He didn't say anything mean. Meanwhile,
- 31:25Olivia's has been snarky this whole entire time, but like she would kind of
- 31:29deserve a little shade thrown back at her. I think so one hundred percent.
- 31:33I felt so bad for Mariah me too, And that's got to be
- 31:37really heavy to sit under. For sure, But you know what, it
- 31:41is not her fault. Again, she was a minor, And I feel
- 31:45like ninety nine point nine percent of the responsibility of the dissolution of this family
- 31:51is on Kim Plath. Yeah, and when we get to the next scene
- 31:52where she's talking to Amber, Kim actually takes some responsibility for her part in
- 31:59things. I guess I'm like, it was the whole part. Yeah,
- 32:02it was the whole Enchilada. Yeah, is your responsibility for things? But
- 32:07yeah, I felt bad for Riah. I felt those tears. I even
- 32:09had a little miss in my eyes. I did, and I normally I'm
- 32:13like, shut up, stop singing. You're so maudlin, cheer up.
- 32:17You're young, you're beautiful. Your body is flawless, honey in your little
- 32:21velvet shorts. Life ahead of you, you don't even know. But she's
- 32:24nineteen, she's twenty. Yeah, she's really wanting her family and she's hurting,
- 32:29and I feel bad for her. Well, yeah, it's really hard
- 32:31to go through a divorce, especially in a family this big and everything,
- 32:35and then it's hard to realize that you've hurt your family in the process and
- 32:37then have to like take responsibility for that. And grow from it. And
- 32:42it can be hella depressing, but like girl, cheer up, buck up,
- 32:45be there for your family. Right. The only time we have is
- 32:49the presence exactly, So make the most of it, my dear. Next
- 32:52week, go over to Amber and Kim. They are at Kim's dance studio.
- 32:59Apartment is really beautiful, I said every single time. But these people
- 33:01are loaded. I know that is a nice apartment. And Kim wants to
- 33:06have another conversation with another child about her cheating, adulterous. Oh ass ways,
- 33:14little Amber has to have this ship visited upon her innocence, and I'm
- 33:17resentful, and her eyeliner was really bad, and like your upper lid eyeliner
- 33:23is like not even touching your lid, and it's what are you doing?
- 33:28It's the booze, dude, she's drunk. She's drunk. What's up?
- 33:31Really, She's she's to go to a makeup cowner. She needs to have
- 33:36somebody to her makeup professionally. What Mary Brown? Why haven't they given some
- 33:45hair and makeup to Mary Brown or any of those women. It's been twelve
- 33:50seasons, eighteen seasons. I'm saying, you know what they're doing. They
- 33:52exactly what they're doing. So what did you think of this conversation between Kim
- 33:57and Amber. Well, I was kind of hoping for more snarkiness from Amber.
- 34:00I was hoping for more of an attitude because they showed the flashback of
- 34:04her last season being like, well, why are you expecting dad to move
- 34:07out? Shouldn't you be the one to get out of her? Mom's gotch
- 34:09A good iconic scene, So I was really hoping for some kind of comment
- 34:14like that of like, yeah, that's pretty suss mom that you're dating another
- 34:17guy, and like why are you telling me about this if you're not planning
- 34:21on marrying him yet? Like, I don't know. But Amber seemed okay
- 34:24with it kind of She's like, well, I may I have my own
- 34:27feelings about it, but I love you and you're my mom. And I
- 34:30guess she had gone into this conversation knowing already that she had been dating Kim.
- 34:36Yes, because she had already heard from her siblings and or her father,
- 34:38other people who are trying to take care of her. Yeah, so
- 34:42she already knew. Kim hadn't even talked to her about it, but she
- 34:44already knew. It's just all so bungled and terribly handled. I have no
- 34:47respect for you as a parent, Kim, none. But I thought Amber
- 34:52handled it as best as she could. And she says to the camera like,
- 34:54it's not really what I want, but you know, I'm but then
- 34:58I decided to be a p just so mature. She's Wow, I'm happy
- 35:02that my mom is happy. And Ken seems like a nice person like Yolo,
- 35:07and she's like fourteen, right, Like I would not have been that
- 35:08emotionally mature. I would have been so mad. I feel like she's a
- 35:12little ticking time bomb. I'm like, she could go a couple of different
- 35:15ways as those hormones start cycling through that little body. She can go demon
- 35:21mode or she can go angel lydia mode. I'm very curious to see which
- 35:23which is very smart she is and she has her own opinions, which is
- 35:27why Kim was rightly afraid to tell her. For sure. Kim was so
- 35:31relieved. Yeah, she was like, oh my god, the really she's
- 35:34okay because all the older kids express their discomfort, discomfort, negativity, negative,
- 35:39that's the right word. Yeah, with all of this, so I'm
- 35:42so glad that at least I have one kid that's happy with it for her
- 35:45now, for now, but you fucked her up. Yep, this girl's
- 35:50now fucked up. So that's on you, Kim. And then of course
- 35:53the final part of this episode, we have Ethan and Micah making the track
- 35:59from Caro all the way up to Minnesota, taking that car back, but
- 36:04really facilitating a conversation that these two brothers really need to have. And so
- 36:09there were some things that came out in this conversation that I thought were interesting
- 36:14for me. For example, when Ethan just kind of out of nowhere starts
- 36:19saying that love hurts. Yeah, you know, love hurts. When Joshua
- 36:24died, it hurt. And then Micah said, it still hurts when our
- 36:29dog Ruby died and we had to put her down. That hurts. When
- 36:32Olivia changed and became a totally different person, that hurts. I'm just like,
- 36:38he needs somebody to talk to. Really, he really needs therapy.
- 36:43Yes, Mike's not the person. I think Mike's going to do his very
- 36:45best. Micah's energy alone, to me transmutes people like, I don't know,
- 36:51I'm trying to say something here. I think Micah's presence is so chill
- 36:54and lovely and accepting that Ethan can feel safe to off gas in front of
- 37:00Michaeh and Mike's not going to judge him. No, Mike's maybe going to
- 37:04talk from his perspective, but he's not going to do it in a judgy
- 37:07way, and that's going to help Ethan to process. Yeah, And I
- 37:10think that's what Ethan really needs, honestly, And I'm sure wanted to go
- 37:15yeah, And I'm sure Micah is like happy to just be talking with him
- 37:17about anything and everything. But like for Ethan, who's been emotionless pretty much
- 37:23the last several seasons we've seen him, like, he hasn't really been the
- 37:27happy, go lucky guy from season one for a while, for him to
- 37:30just open up with love hurts, and I'm really tired of it hurting.
- 37:35I'm like, damn, your like heart is broken right now. It's broken
- 37:38because you miss your fucking family, even though you don't really want to admit
- 37:42it, you miss them a lot, and you miss how it used to
- 37:45be before Olivia came and fucked it all up. You miss Olivia and who
- 37:49she used to be. And it's fine that she's changed, but she's changed
- 37:52in such a way that you can't really grow with her, that's the problem.
- 37:57And then all of this stuff like I'm just like I feel really bad
- 38:00for him. I feel really bad for him, and Olivia's really messed him
- 38:02up because love shouldn't hurt this bad. Well, but I mean, when
- 38:07you get married at eighteen years old, it's going to hurt. And I
- 38:09really can't. As for as much as I don't like Olivia, I cannot
- 38:13blame her for becoming her own person. And then that not aligning with who
- 38:16Ethan is. That's really not her fault. But I do feel bad for
- 38:21Ethan. In this moment, he kind of opens up the conversation by saying,
- 38:23I spent a year and a half to two years really sad, Yeah,
- 38:28like deeply sad because Olivia changed. And I asked myself, is it
- 38:31because of mom? Did Mom make Olivia change? Or is it something in
- 38:36Olivia that caused her to change? But whatever happened made me really sad.
- 38:40Well, I'm like, what did she change? So, like, what
- 38:44did she change so much that has been devastating to him? The religion?
- 38:47Yes, I mean, but like that and then she would have to be
- 38:52like an atheist then, right, because that would that to me, is
- 38:54like the only realalistic scenario that would get make Ethan so devastated, right,
- 39:01Like if she just completely denounced all of it, was like, I'm an
- 39:04atheist. I don't even believe in any of it. All this shit is
- 39:07stupid. Your beliefs are stupid. If she reacted like that, but it
- 39:09doesn't seem like she is. No, I don't know what exactly the change
- 39:14is because she's just saying it's political and it's social, I can guess,
- 39:19but I can tell you what caused the change, and it's fame. It's
- 39:23this television show. And as soon as she felt she had a platform to
- 39:30model herself as the better person, yeah, or the person with superior morals
- 39:34and values, she took that all the way. Mm. And I think
- 39:38virtue signals and makes herself out to be a certain kind of person. And
- 39:43I don't even know if I believe that she's actually that kind of person,
- 39:46the person she wants us to believe that she is. Like, if she
- 39:51were actually that person, I would vibe with that. We probably align in
- 39:53most ways politically, socially, and otherwise. But I don't believe her.
- 39:58Yeah, And I can imagine that's very confusing to somebody like Ethan who just
- 40:01wants to connect and I want to connect to the person that I thought you
- 40:05were and now who are you? And why are you this person? Right?
- 40:07And it's like it's not like she changed so much over a long period
- 40:10of time, like they've only been married for four years. So I'm sure
- 40:15that's also shocking for him too, like just okay, like two years ago,
- 40:21we were vibing and we were fine, and now everything is completely one
- 40:23percent different and I don't even know how to like mesh with you anymore.
- 40:29So I'm sure that's why it's heartbreaking what happened. Well, Welcome to plathfal
- 40:32happened, and what's going to happen to Olivia for real? For real when
- 40:37Welcome to Plathville is over or she's not invited back to Welcome to Plathfel because
- 40:42she's no longer a Plath No. I've been seeing so many comments online being
- 40:45like I want to spin off with just you. I want to see just
- 40:49you in your life. I don't care about the plaths like people here.
- 40:51The reality is that nobody wants to see that. I don't see anybody is
- 40:54actually going to watch that I ain't watch this Olivia in terms of the national
- 40:59consciousness. Reality to television consciousness is only important insofar as how she relates to
- 41:07the Plath That sounds the Plaths that sounds terrible. But that's what we're interested
- 41:12in, I mean interested in her impact on this family. We're interested in
- 41:15how she's actually in a relationship with Ethan, and I would be interested to
- 41:20see what happens to her afterwards. But under no circumstance do I want to
- 41:23follow this woman and her life because she doesn't tell the truth. I really
- 41:25don't think she tells the truth. Everything's a set up and a con She's
- 41:30a master manipulator. And I was thinking while watching this episode with like her
- 41:35and her sister Lydia Grace, and like they must have come from such a
- 41:38fucked up family to both be like these crazy, manipulative, shady people,
- 41:45like where everything has to be a fight, everything has to be a conflict,
- 41:50they're always reacting to something like their family life must have been much more
- 41:55messed up than the plasts. I am ido too, Yes, I think
- 41:58that you have a microcop of inter family politics and like who's the kid that
- 42:04gets the most favor and it sounds like Olivia was always vuying for that,
- 42:07and she was a narc and she was turning Lydia, Grace and the other
- 42:09kids in and so it just sounds like it was pretty terrible. Yeah.
- 42:14So I think there's hope for Olivia. I think she's got a lot of
- 42:16raw materials. She can turn that around. And again I say, at
- 42:21her age, I was an absolute monster, an absolute monster. I was
- 42:25too unconscious. I was a free radical on the planet, damaging everything I
- 42:30contacted. So there's hope for Olivia, But I am not buying currently.
- 42:34I am not buying what she is trying to sell. Nope. Now,
- 42:36the other thing that they had a conversation about in the Uhau on the way
- 42:40to Minnesota was Mariah, Yes, so what did you think about that part
- 42:45with the whole music conversation? Right, So Mica brings it up and says,
- 42:50well, Olivia stole her music and held it over ransom over Mariah,
- 42:54and Ethan immediately is like, no, that's not the case. But I'm
- 42:59like, I was trying to remember while I was watching this, has Mariah
- 43:01talked about her stealing the music? As Mariah said, Olivia stole my music
- 43:06and didn't give me the passwords. I don't think she said it so plainly
- 43:09as that. I think she implied it that. One day she wanted to
- 43:14get into the account and she noticed I'm unable to get into the account.
- 43:17Yeah, so she wrote Olivia and said, hey, can I get the
- 43:20log in information? I want to get my music, and that is when
- 43:23they started to have it back and forth. Olivia didn't respond right away,
- 43:28and so within a day or something, Mariah responded to her non response saying
- 43:32I'm going to get a lawyer, and then Olivia nuked the account, sent
- 43:37her her files and then said take all of my pictures off of your Instagram
- 43:40because if you don't, I'm going to copyright claim them. Right, So
- 43:44it sounds to me, then tell me what you think. It sounds to
- 43:46me like Mariah doesn't know technology. Yeah, she didn't know how to log
- 43:51into the account that Olivia had set up for her and potentially maintained for her.
- 43:57And at some point, when she knew that Olivia had called out Kim,
- 44:00her mother for stealing from Ethan, she knew she didn't want to be
- 44:05affiliated with Olivia anymore, and so there was already conflict and problems. She
- 44:08asked for the information and that was the last straw and turned around and probably
- 44:14framed it as Olivia was going to take my music. Yeah, I don't
- 44:16think Olivia was trying to do that. I don't know. I don't think
- 44:20so either. I think Olivia was probably being a little bit more shady than
- 44:22what she's implying, though petty certainly patty petty, like the older sister type
- 44:28of thing of like, oh well, no, I never said that,
- 44:30Like you're just lying, You're just trying to get me in trouble with mom.
- 44:32Like it's like that kind of a vibe for me, where I think
- 44:37Mariah's being a little dramatic too, because she's like, I'm going to get
- 44:39a lawyer and get my stupid music. Are my five dollars that I made
- 44:44for my music if you stole from me? Like that's a little ridiculous.
- 44:47But I'm just like also kind of tired of hearing about this whole commys wow,
- 44:52Like I'd rather hear about the whole credit card MLM thing with Kim.
- 44:55I'd rather get all the sides from that. I'm tired of hearing Olivia just
- 45:00like play the victim with this whole Mariah music, thaying like, it's done.
- 45:04You gave her her music. Can we just be over it? But
- 45:07she's so fucking bitter and so aghast that somebody could accuse her of stealing and
- 45:13holding this music ransom over Mariah, that she's just going to milk it for
- 45:17all that it's worth and continue to cause tension within the family because now it
- 45:22would for its tension between Micah and Mariah, because Mike's siding with Mariah and
- 45:28Olivia used to be friends with both of them, and now she's like,
- 45:30fuck, y'all right, I'm just over it. Yeah, I'm kind of
- 45:34over it too. And I really wish they would have just talked about the
- 45:36social media post because that is what Ethan is really upset about, and that
- 45:39would have led into a conversation about the credit card that Kim allegedly took and
- 45:45ran up and made Ethan pay, and like, I want to hear more
- 45:47about that. Because of course, when Kim had the opportunity to address this,
- 45:52she's like, I know my truth. I don't have to tell anybody
- 45:55my truth. My truth, so I'm like, okay. So then if
- 45:59there's an act accusation out there against you, and you're not going to defend
- 46:02it. We have no option but to kind of believe what the accusation is
- 46:07exactly. But if we could have Ethan in the U haul truck with Micah,
- 46:10maybe elaborate a little bit about why he's pissed about the social media post,
- 46:14because I can attest to the fact that mom stole from me, like
- 46:17I would love to hear that. Yes, I would love to hear that
- 46:21too, and then it maybe it would help Mariah and Mica and not be
- 46:23filled with rose colored glasses, you know, over their mom and stuff,
- 46:27because they're both kind of trying to be in better faith with Kim And I'm
- 46:31just like, Okay, your mom's not an angel here. She's not perfect.
- 46:36Like she's done some shitty shit too. Absolutely there's truth to all of
- 46:40it. I'm just tired of like Olivia milking it just for the cameras and
- 46:44for drum of Mariah milking, walking, milking and not talking about it.
- 46:47It's dumb, right, get over it, grow up. I'm over it.
- 46:52This episode ends with Ethan sitting on the couch saying that he can say
- 46:55one hundred percent with certainty that Olivia did not steal he did not steal,
- 47:00and anybody who says that they did is lying. Okay, Mariah, and
- 47:05so he allowed to say, but they're lying. Yeah, so okay,
- 47:07I don't know. I actually think it's maybe a misunderstanding. It probably it's
- 47:10not that deep. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Do We then go
- 47:14to the preview and we see Barry and Kim sitting at a table watching Mariah
- 47:19ballroom dance, and Barry's telling the camera that he does not condone Kim seeing
- 47:27Ken Palmer, but what can he do about it? Oh my god,
- 47:30he is seething. He looks mad, he looks uncomfy sitting there next to
- 47:35Kim. Oh, oh Jesus. But he showed up, didn't he?
- 47:37Yeah, he did. He showed up. Then we see Mariah calling while
- 47:42Micah and Ethan are in the U haul and saying that she's not gonna apologize
- 47:46for something she's not sorry for. Okay, Christian girl, Okay, come
- 47:52on, just put your shit down. Pride cometh before a fall. Say
- 47:55I'm sorry I should have paid September's rent. I mean, I'm offender.
- 48:00The two yelled at me, But we can get over this. You're my
- 48:01brother. I love it. It's really not that hard, but she doesn't
- 48:05want to do that. And finally we see Olivia facetiming with Lydia Grace,
- 48:08who is a iconic shit stir. Yeah, what are you gonna do if
- 48:14Michael walks into your house after texting you and saying he just wants to keep
- 48:16it light and airy, And she's like, I can't be fake. Olivia
- 48:20says, I don't know how to be fake, So we're gonna have a
- 48:23conversation about it. Okay, okay, If anybody on this show knows how
- 48:29to be fake, honey, it's you Ben being fake for real. So
- 48:35I'm here for it. And you know, I was reading Reddit before I
- 48:37actually watched the episode, and people were like, oh my god, so
- 48:40boring and they're singing again, and so I was going into it like,
- 48:44oh lord, this is going to be terrible. But I actually really liked
- 48:47this episode me too. I like seeing the kids coming back together. I
- 48:52like seeing Barry kind of centered in the middle of that family. I like
- 48:55seeing Kim being so shallow ye that all she has in her life is to
- 49:00talk about Ken Palmer to her kids who don't want to hear it anymore.
- 49:04At all like, I cat, I love it, even though Olivia shit,
- 49:07I'm just like, oh bitch, you're trying to pull the wool over
- 49:09everybody's eyes. But Ussie right through you. We both see right through her.
- 49:14We've got raccoon eyes. Yeah, we can see in the dark.
- 49:16Yeah, we're nocturnal. This is a great time to take a break.
- 49:21We got to pay the bills. We will be back on the other side
- 49:23to talk about nine to Day Fiance. I can't wait. That was a
- 49:28shit show as well, so we'll be right back. All right, we
- 49:32are back to talk about ninety day Fiance. And I just want to say,
- 49:37not ninety day fiance the other way. No, not nine to day
- 49:40fiance before the ninety days, not even ninety day fiance the single life,
- 49:45Nope, or nine to day Fiance Pedra and Chantelle. Although I want to
- 49:49watch that and you won't. Let a lot of people know, a lot
- 49:52of people want us to watch it. I'm just like, oh my god,
- 49:54apparently there's some shit going down with Pedro. Well, I watch my
- 49:58thoughts on YouTube, and you know who that is. She's so funny.
- 50:00I already know how funny she is. Yeah, And if you don't,
- 50:02you should find her. Yeah, but I was watching her recap of Pedro
- 50:07and Chantal, and I was looking at some of the footage and I'm just
- 50:09gobsmacked and how different Chantal looks, because the last time I followed them was
- 50:15like maybe their first season or their first couple of seasons. But she is
- 50:19one hundred percent different. Yeah, and Pedro was in his tidy whities in
- 50:23the bathroom with his leg kicked up onto the counter with all of his junk
- 50:28spilling forth. I'm like, but you liked out, Petro. You done
- 50:31this is incredibly an appropriate. Could you imagine if your husband did that when
- 50:36he was brushing his teeth? No, what are you doing? Pro Magnan
- 50:39nn ogg make fire? Jesus, we see your jump? Thanks so crazy
- 50:45anyway, but I want to watch it. It seems really ridiculous and right
- 50:49up our alley. But we won't. We won't. We've got three shows
- 50:52that we're currently doing, plus we have busy three extra shows that we are
- 50:54currently covering on Patreon. So let's just stick to ninety Day Fiance for now.
- 51:00Okay, Yeah, well, start us off. What do we got
- 51:01here? You're gonna bring us up to speed because this has been airing for
- 51:07about a month. Yep, So you will kind of download us on all
- 51:10of the couples. Yeah, and then we'll get into this week's episode.
- 51:14Yeah, Okay, I'm just gonna go over all the couples. All right,
- 51:16I'm just gonna say, I'm gonna follow your Yeah, I'm going limp,
- 51:19go with the flow, going, limp, go with the flow.
- 51:21So we have six couples this season. A couple of them are new.
- 51:24First one we have is Robin Sophie. But who's the hamster guy? That's
- 51:30Clayton. Oh my god, I can't wait to get to the hamster guy
- 51:32because not hamster guinea pigs. Oh I'm sorry, my bad. God,
- 51:37that was wonderful. But anyway, who's the first couple, Rob and Sophie.
- 51:40Rob is thirty two from La aka Anglewood. Dollar Store Drake, Yes,
- 51:46dollar store Drake. Okay, God, it's Sophie who's twenty three and
- 51:51from London, England, and she's so fucking rich. Dude? Is she
- 51:54so rich? She doesn't even know what her grandfather does for a living.
- 51:58She's not rich. She has made and ship. She's a social media influencer,
- 52:02Like she's just living her best year girl, I really love him if
- 52:06she's willing to cohabitate with him in that broke down cardboard box of an unsafe
- 52:14apartment, that radio apartment that looks like a hostel, with his fucking bathroom
- 52:19that's outside of his plays and all this shit everywhere. I'm just like,
- 52:22it's California. He's probably paying four thousand a month for that. Is he
- 52:27like a singer, is in the entertainment industry. He said, jack of
- 52:30all trades, and he used to be a model. And that's how he
- 52:32met Sophie because she DMed him because you know, he's so hot and so
- 52:36attractive, and so he was getting dms upon dms upon dms from all these
- 52:40hot bitches, but they weren't hot enough for him until Sophie DMed him.
- 52:45Well, He's like, wow, in all fairness, the man is handsome.
- 52:50He looks a little bit like Jesse Williams from Gray's and that I am
- 52:53a little bit a little bit of I'm a little bit of He's not hideous,
- 53:00Well, he's not hideous. It's got kind of a weird head.
- 53:02He does have kind of a strange head. And his profile, like from
- 53:07his profile, he looks like a baby. Yeah, but what makes him
- 53:13ugly is his personality, dude and the serial killer eyes. I'm just like,
- 53:16what is wrong with you? You are operating at such a disadvantage.
- 53:20You really have no business giving her a hard time for having trauma around birth.
- 53:23Yeah, Jesus Christ. Well yeah, so you missed that last episode
- 53:27because we're catching up on these. So last episode, she revealed at like
- 53:31some dinner or whatever, that she didn't want to get pregnant, and apparently
- 53:35they had never talked about this before, even though they're planning to get married.
- 53:37Apparently they had never talked about it. He was shocked. He got
- 53:40up from the table like stormed off and was like, super piston her for
- 53:45not wanting to get pregnant, because that's how you communicate and maintain a healthy
- 53:49relationship. Is you just storm yep? Yes? And so then she revealed
- 53:52she's got a medical condition. She had assist on her over or something or
- 53:55a tumor, I can't remember, and she was told that it could affect
- 53:59her for tidy. And so in this week's episode, we meet them having
- 54:04lunch or whatever, and they're trying to talk about this agreement on studio apartment.
- 54:13So they're having lunch or whatever, and she's talking him about it and
- 54:15trying to explain herself as to why she doesn't want to have kids or why
- 54:21she's scared of being pregnant, and he's like, but I want a little
- 54:22me though. I want babies though, So how are you gonna I'm okay
- 54:27with a sarrogate. Yeah, I'm okay adopting. And he's like, well,
- 54:30if it's not like from my lloy from ud, if it's not blood
- 54:34of my blood, I'm not interested. God, God, ego, ego,
- 54:37ego, ego, Dick, how about just sit with her? Ask
- 54:40her where her fear comes from. Why does she feel that way? Is
- 54:44there anything I can do for you? I'm not going to rush you,
- 54:46baby, And if and when we ever have a child in the future,
- 54:50it's going to be beautiful. I'm going to be right there to support you.
- 54:52I mean, is that just a crazy pipe dream that it's possible a
- 54:54man would do that for a woman? Yes, because it's not okay,
- 54:58fiance, I'm sorry, okay, oh you missed too. And like the
- 55:04first second episode, he had such a cringe airport proposal to her. He
- 55:08like did a whole ass dance with like a speaker and ever aal like Salu
- 55:15and Collate. It was so way to minringe a speaker a speaker like bluetooth
- 55:21speaker, and he did it in the middle of like the walkway area,
- 55:23so people are walking by him, and he's like, God, can you
- 55:25guys just like leave me alone. I'm trying to like dance. And Sophie's
- 55:30jet lagged as fuck and she's tired with no magup. She's like, can
- 55:32we just like go home. It's like four in the morning, wash my
- 55:36butt and eat a girl cheese sandwich and just chill. But she's got to
- 55:39go back to that fucking studio apartment. Though. He's just so cringe and
- 55:44he like got mad at her because she wasn't like super excited about it because
- 55:46she's jet lagged and tired, and she's like, and also, I'm embarrassed.
- 55:50This is embarrassing. Do you see yourself? It was pretty amazing and
- 55:53you see yourself from outside of your own body? Yeah, because I'm seeing
- 55:57you and it's awful. Yeah. The other thing in their storyline is that
- 56:01she has not told him that she is best actual Oh my gosh, she
- 56:06locked at you to box well, she's never been to box it. She's
- 56:08never been to get a box it. She liked to get a box it
- 56:15a woman yet though she's more like by curious, Sorry, isn't that every
- 56:24woman? Is that such a scandal to tell Dollar Store Drake. He's gonna
- 56:28love it, By the way, I hope he's gonna immediately want to set
- 56:30up a threesome, you think so, of course, I don't know,
- 56:35man, I don't know. I feel like she's scared to tell him because
- 56:39she's worried that he's gonna get mad, and like, judging by how he
- 56:42reacts to everything else, to always be mad, I feel like you'll escalate.
- 56:45And so in this episode, they go to the cur with Rob's friend
- 56:53and who seems really nice. Well, he doesn't like, Oh, Sophie,
- 57:00I'm sorry. I was thinking of oh, you're right. They go
- 57:02to the club with that guy, and she has a friend that she met
- 57:06on some site, some dating app. Right in the friends section of the
- 57:10dating app. She met this lady and they go to the club together and
- 57:16Rob's friend is immediately like, so are you into girls? How'd you meet
- 57:20this girl? Uh? Do you like girls? Like she's asking her friend
- 57:23and she's like, now, I'm not who are you? Yeah, I
- 57:27just met you. Why are we talking about my sexuality in appropriate? And
- 57:30Sophie's like, no, she doesn't. I guess she allegedly met this friend
- 57:35on the dating app in the friends section before she realized that she was bisexual.
- 57:39She wanted to eat the box. Probably, she probably want to eat
- 57:42a box. She probably wants to experiment a little bit. Okay, should
- 57:45come into la. She wants to be freaky data. That's fine, but
- 57:47like, tell your man first, though, Yes, I feel like he's
- 57:51just gonna explode about it. He's gonna be like what, he's gonna be
- 57:53one of those toxic men that's gonna be like you exactly. It's my jack
- 57:58himmering. And it's not enough for me. No, I need much more.
- 58:02I need a box a box. But yeah, that's pretty much at
- 58:08the end of this episode. I was going to get to Okay, sorry,
- 58:12so I was gonna get to that, you're in charge of ninety fiance.
- 58:14You never let me lead. I'm sorry, I'm terrible, And then
- 58:19the episode concludes with some shocking information I was shocked, which is Sophie moved
- 58:27out of the shitty studio apartment into a much nicer house with a much nicer
- 58:31hotel, with an actual bathroom, an actual shower. I guess. The
- 58:36night prior to her moving out, she was looking on Rob's phone and she
- 58:40found an app where he was soliciting and sending nudy photos and videos to some
- 58:46OnlyFans chick probably or to several chicks, I don't know. But it really
- 58:52tore her up because he's done this before. So he's done this before,
- 58:55and she's confronted him about it and said, please don't ever do this again
- 58:59because this is a hard boundary and I don't want you to do it again
- 59:01because I consider it cheating. And then he does it again, and so
- 59:05they had a big old fight, and she's devastated because she loves him and
- 59:07she has nobody here, and she's stuck in Englewood, California by herself.
- 59:12And she's like, if I was in London, I would just go to
- 59:15my mom's or go to your friends. I'd be see you never. I'm
- 59:17like, well, if you're so rich, just get on your first class
- 59:21ticket, get on the plane and go back to London. Just get out
- 59:22of here. You don't want to live here. You don't want to be
- 59:24here, but she loves him for some reason, so they're probably gonna talk
- 59:29about it, and he's gonna be like, I wasn't even doing anything.
- 59:31I wasn't even doing anything. Well good kind of doing that in the car
- 59:37ride that she was filming. Yes, I'm not a perfect man, not
- 59:40perfect. Like you can say that again. I'm like, dude, there's
- 59:44one to say the least. There's a difference between like watching porn and then
- 59:47sending lude videos to a porn actress and then getting them back, Like that's
- 59:54what it sounds like he was doing. He was like responding, like,
- 59:57probably jacking off. Young people are crazy. I don't do add shit,
- 1:00:00I mean, but young just to send a nude. I did send a
- 1:00:04nude one summer somewhere in Colorado. You know that it could reserves it any
- 1:00:10moment, and if it does, I'll show you all because I look so
- 1:00:13good in it, woo like. But I'm just like, that was scandalous
- 1:00:16back then when I did it. Well, yeah, these you got kids
- 1:00:21doing it. You got all kinds of people just sending their nudes and sex
- 1:00:24and everything, and I'm scandalized for you young people. Stop doing it,
- 1:00:29and now there's a Hi Deep fakes and ship where people are making fake nudes
- 1:00:31of people's faces and I'm just like good Award Luciferian matrix. But do go
- 1:00:37in too. Yes, So that's how it leaves this episode. She's not
- 1:00:40going anywhere. She's crying about it. They're going to talk about it,
- 1:00:45and then she'll get back together with him, and then he'll inevitably do it
- 1:00:47again, like he's just a piece of shit. Oh. I did have
- 1:00:50an article though about him, okay, because he's been arrested. So Rob's
- 1:00:55been arrested twice. So his first offense took place in January one, thousand
- 1:01:00and seven, when he was seventeen years old. He was charged with one
- 1:01:02count of aggravated battery and one count of battery related to an incident that occurred
- 1:01:07at seven pm. Blah blah blah blah. And then the second time he
- 1:01:12was arrested was nine months later, and he was charged with one count of
- 1:01:15aggravated assault and one count of of obstructing or impeding of lawful activities. Oh
- 1:01:23my goodness. Yeah, So, I mean he was young and maybe he
- 1:01:29was involved with like bad people, but the aggravated assault thing though, I'm
- 1:01:34like you and danger girl. Yeah, I kind of went back to London.
- 1:01:37Yeah, you don't need any of that business. No, I don't
- 1:01:39really like him though, I've never I haven't gotten there's no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
- 1:01:45Got weird eyes. I'm just like you, look baby profile, weird
- 1:01:49man. Well you think he looks like Jesse? What's his face? And
- 1:01:52when he's looking straight on, there's like and if I'm blurring my eyes,
- 1:01:54I'm blurring my eyes and he's looking straight on, I'm like, oh my
- 1:01:57good goddess, daddy. Sorry, I don't know. We'll see what happens
- 1:02:01with them. Next couple we have is the most scandalous. I think Nikki
- 1:02:06Exotica and Justin aka Egor. Let's call him Igor. That is his name.
- 1:02:13That is his name, that is what his family calls him. Yes,
- 1:02:15that is what he was Moniker. Yeah, there's no reason to call
- 1:02:20him Justin. Well, he used to look like Justin Timberlake. That's why
- 1:02:23she renamed he. Come on, poor guy. I know. So NICKI
- 1:02:29is forty seven. If you can believe it, she I cannot. She
- 1:02:37looks older. Sorry, but she is a transgender woman. She's from Hoboken,
- 1:02:40New Jersey. She's had a million plastic surgery. I mean, yeah,
- 1:02:46well she's gotten only fans. She's prostitute. She yeah, and she
- 1:02:51charges like sixteen dollars a month for the only time. I'm not trying to
- 1:02:52hate on sex workers, but she's a terrible person. So she's awful.
- 1:02:57I don't care. She is awful. So she's had a million pleas of
- 1:03:00surgeries. She's had her eye color surgically changed. That yes, which is
- 1:03:05nuts. I didn't even know that that was the thing. Igor is thirty
- 1:03:09six and he's from Kishnau or whatever, Moldova. He has a personal trainer
- 1:03:15where Andre the monsters from. Yep, Yeah, those Moldovan men are something
- 1:03:21else. But they met seventeen years ago when Nikki was actually in Moldova meeting
- 1:03:29another man that she fell in love with. Okay, and this previous relationship
- 1:03:32didn't work out because when she flew back to Moldova because she was in a
- 1:03:36relationship with this guy in America and then he got into some trouble and he
- 1:03:39got deported, So then she flew back to Moldova to see him after he
- 1:03:43got deported. And she gets there and he's in an apartment with another chick,
- 1:03:49Like he's got a whole ass wife. So they ended their relationship.
- 1:03:52And then she immediately gets on a dating app because as we know, she's
- 1:03:54obsessed with sex. And she meets Igor and they go on a date and
- 1:03:59it was very wholesome and sweet. They didn't even have sex that first night.
- 1:04:02And then and how old was Igor at the time. He was nineteen,
- 1:04:06Okay, so pretty young, but I thought he was a miner.
- 1:04:10Like there were some people saying online that she had groomed him when he was
- 1:04:14like seventeen. I don't know if that's true or not, because I was
- 1:04:17looking up their ages. He was nineteen. But they dated for a while
- 1:04:21and then after her fourth trip to Moldova, she was like going back and
- 1:04:25forth to see him. After her fourth trip, he proposed to her.
- 1:04:29So they had a whole ass relationship. They were together for two years.
- 1:04:31But he did not know she was trans at this time. No, and
- 1:04:34she had already had the bottom surgery. So she had had the bottom surgery
- 1:04:39when she was twenty. So they were banging, Yes, they were banging
- 1:04:42a lot. They were together for two years. She did not tell him
- 1:04:46that she was trans this entire time. He had no idea, and back
- 1:04:49then she actually looked a little bit more natural, she wasn't as filled with
- 1:04:53plastic. And she decided to tell him that she was trans in the middle
- 1:04:57of an argument. So they were arguing ab something about like cleaning or whatever,
- 1:05:01and she said, you know what, I have a secret to tell
- 1:05:04you. I used to be born a man. And she admits to this
- 1:05:08herself that she traumatized him because of this. And so you refreshed me as
- 1:05:11to where they were in the timeline in terms of ages when this happened,
- 1:05:15Like he was early twenties, Okay, so he's known for a long time.
- 1:05:18Though it's not like he just learned this season. This was known for
- 1:05:23years. Yeah, this was fifteen years ago when they had already had their
- 1:05:26two year relationship. They had proposed and had sex, yes, and they
- 1:05:30were in the process of getting the K one visa back then. And so
- 1:05:33once she decides to blurt this out, their relationship basically ends for many,
- 1:05:39many, many years, and they're very strained because Igor was traumatized, of
- 1:05:43course, and didn't know how to react and didn't know how to deal with
- 1:05:45things, and so it really fucked a lot of things up, and so
- 1:05:49I guess over the last fifteen years they had been keeping in touch periodically and
- 1:05:55probably seeing each other off and on. As the years go by and Reese
- 1:06:00they have tried to like rekindle things a bit and like try to have a
- 1:06:03normal relationship again. So he proposed to her a second time. I think
- 1:06:06they were on a trip in like Mexico or something. And so that's where
- 1:06:10we're at now, is that he knows she's Trands. He's known she's Trands
- 1:06:14this whole entire time. He's like dealt with all of those feelings and everything.
- 1:06:16It's still hard for him though, and he still struggles with that as
- 1:06:19we see in this season, he struggles particularly with intimacy. But I think
- 1:06:27it's also because of how Nikki is with her personality. I think she's kind
- 1:06:30of crazy and she's overbearing yes, team too much, Yes, And so
- 1:06:35he doesn't really know how to get his man energy. He calls it to
- 1:06:41spark up for her. So that's where we see them in this episode.
- 1:06:44Can I ask you a question? Yeah, So, after he learns that
- 1:06:47she's trans, and then they make up and they start talking again and they
- 1:06:51see each other. They go to Mexico where they having sex at that point.
- 1:06:56Okay, so there was a time when he could have sex with her
- 1:07:00and felt aroused. Yeah with her, Yeah, after he learned that she
- 1:07:03was trying to So, Okay, that gives me some good context for what's
- 1:07:08going on here. But because in this particular visit, he's not having sex
- 1:07:12with her, well, she just got there, right, she just flew
- 1:07:15in. And because he hasn't been fucking her the second that she got in,
- 1:07:19she's upset by it because they haven't seen each other in nine month,
- 1:07:24nine months, so she expected him to just ravish her the second that she
- 1:07:29got off the plane, and he hasn't because again, they haven't seen each
- 1:07:31other in nine months. So it's like, just take some time a little
- 1:07:34bit. Let's just like calm down and like ease into it and it'll be
- 1:07:39fine. And judging from their relationship at the very beginning, when she said
- 1:07:44their first date, he didn't even try to have sex with her, and
- 1:07:45she was very surprised by that. He seems like the type of guy that's
- 1:07:48like, let's take things slow, let me romance you a little bit,
- 1:07:51let me whine and dine you a little bit, right, that's what it
- 1:07:54seems like to me. But that's not good enough for her. So last
- 1:07:57episode they had a huge fight in the park where she was like, if
- 1:08:00you don't fuck me within forty eight hours, I'm leaving. And she flipped
- 1:08:05out in the park like she was like very inappropriate. She was like asking
- 1:08:09him to lick ice cream off her face and like all this stuff, and
- 1:08:13he just upset. And now in this episode she's blaming it on the hormones
- 1:08:16because I guess she took a hormone shot like just before she flew over to
- 1:08:19Moldova, and those can make her crazy, which I guess I can understand,
- 1:08:25but like, dude, yeah, calm down, right, it's pretty
- 1:08:30fucking crazy. Like every scene with them is her talking about the intimacy.
- 1:08:35Well, and I'm sorry, but this is giving me Kimbali predator vibes.
- 1:08:41Yeah, and there's all kinds of older women on these franchises that are constantly
- 1:08:45pressuring younger men into sex in a very unhealthy and toxic way. Yep,
- 1:08:50that alone is a boner killer. Yeah. I think it's gross. I'm
- 1:08:55like, chill out. He doesn't owe you shit. First of all,
- 1:08:57let me ask you questions. So do we think that he has a fundamental
- 1:09:00issue with her being trans, like that he has a problem with it,
- 1:09:04or do we strictly think it's because of her ass personality. I think part
- 1:09:10of it will always be the trans thing. I think he is accepting of
- 1:09:15it at this point in time, but I think it's taken him a while
- 1:09:17to get to that point. And you know, maybe he's not necessarily attracted
- 1:09:24to her anymore either, not because of the transgenderism stuff, but because she
- 1:09:29looks a lot different from when they first started dating, and it is a
- 1:09:32stark change, and like her personality is a little crazy, little I mean,
- 1:09:40she's a full blown narcissist. Like when they're at that restaurant, she's
- 1:09:43like, oh my god, I just got clocked, honey, there's cameras
- 1:09:45there. Yes, And you are a bit of a spectacle physically, I'm
- 1:09:49sorry. I mean with all of your glitter clothing and your many plastic surgeries.
- 1:09:55So people, especially in Moldova, they're going to look it has nothing
- 1:09:58to do with being clocked. No, But it's like she connects absolutely everything
- 1:10:01back to her being transgendered. Yep. And then she's still not like acknowledging
- 1:10:08that, oh, Igor probably isn't wanting to have sex because of all of
- 1:10:13the shit that I've put him through in this relationship. Like they have been
- 1:10:15fucking before this, so maybe this is all like producer driven or something,
- 1:10:18or like, maybe this is just their storyline and maybe by next episode they
- 1:10:23will have had sex and everything will be fine. But she's expecting it like
- 1:10:27multiple times a day, every day because back when they were first together many
- 1:10:31many years ago, they were screwing all the time. So she wants to
- 1:10:35go back to that. That's what she thinks is good for a relationship.
- 1:10:41And I'm like, okay, but what if he can't deliver that, then
- 1:10:44are you gonna get mad at him for it? Or are you gonna blame
- 1:10:46it on the trans stuff? Like I don't think it's that. Like,
- 1:10:48I think he's dealing with a lot and you kind of messed him up for
- 1:10:53life by scarring him for life. I don't know a whole lot of forty
- 1:10:57seven year old women who want to have sex seven times a day, I
- 1:11:00mean, or a year. I don't even want that. I just like,
- 1:11:03there's just a certain kind of rhythm to your life, and he's got
- 1:11:08a natural rhythm too, And so if he's nineteen years old, absolutely wants
- 1:11:11to fuck all the time, ten times a day. Absolutely, But he's
- 1:11:14thirty six years old, Yeah, he's out of a sexual prime. Yep.
- 1:11:16So yeah, she just seems full of pressure, full of dramatics,
- 1:11:20and completely inappropriate. And again that's a boner killer, and I feel bad
- 1:11:26for him, Like he's like, can I just go to my gym on
- 1:11:29my own, right, it's a small gym, the ceiling is falling in,
- 1:11:32it's not appropriate for people from other countries. I'll take you to a
- 1:11:35different gym. But like she's constantly pushing the limits and making it about the
- 1:11:42transdom, making him with the transfer, and also requiring him to prove himself
- 1:11:45to her and his love to her over and over again and exhausting. Yeah,
- 1:11:49the whole gym thing was really annoying to me because I'm like, he's
- 1:11:53literally saying, I found a gym that's good for foreigners and for people who
- 1:11:57are not from here, so like it would be good for you, trust
- 1:11:59me, please, I want to take care of you. I'm a personal
- 1:12:01trainer, right, yes, And she gets insulted by that, and she's
- 1:12:05like, well, we should be proud to be who we are. And
- 1:12:08I'm like, Okay, you can't change the whole country, though, you
- 1:12:12can't change these people. Like, yes, you can be out and proud,
- 1:12:15but like, that's totally an American Western privileged thing. In my opinion,
- 1:12:19as a layers being, as a representative of the community, we have
- 1:12:24it pretty good in most states in America. There are some states that are
- 1:12:28crazy. I'm not gonna lie. I've been to Alabama, okay, and
- 1:12:30those people are a little But for the most part, we don't know what
- 1:12:36it's like to be in a country that is predominantly homophobic and transphobic, like
- 1:12:42Moldova is not a friendly place for algibidicul act. So let your man take
- 1:12:45care of you, seriously, be safe. That's what he's supposed to do,
- 1:12:48and he's trying to do that. That's how he actually does show you
- 1:12:53love. So they're interesting. I'm not a fan of Nikki at all.
- 1:12:57No, and not a lot of people are. No, she's a narcissis.
- 1:13:00Yes, she's terrible. What else do you got going on besides all
- 1:13:02of this? I want to know who you are as a person, what's
- 1:13:05great about you? What do you believe in? What are you passionate about
- 1:13:08besides tits and ass and your face? For real? And was it this
- 1:13:11episode or last? I can't remember. She takes ninety minutes to get ready.
- 1:13:15Minimal, my god, Minimum. And all of the nails all of
- 1:13:18these women have. Can you imagine wiping your ass with those kind of nails?
- 1:13:21Like we cook, like we garden, we do all of these things.
- 1:13:25I cannot even imagine having nails longer than this. The second I have
- 1:13:29anything underneath my nails, I'm like, so disgusting. Let me dip them
- 1:13:31in bleach. They can have these claws. No thank you, no thank
- 1:13:36you at all. Guys. I My husband's like, if you ever get
- 1:13:40nails like that, He's like, absolutely not really, he thinks they're disgusting.
- 1:13:44I mean, I don't blame him, Yeah, I don't blame no
- 1:13:45offense. If you guys have nails. And there are some nails that are
- 1:13:48beautiful, like it's just not like most people keep them clean. Like when
- 1:13:51you get them long like that, clat clack clacking like that, it's like,
- 1:13:55oh my god, I can't can do it, Nikki, You're crazy.
- 1:14:00Next couple we have is Clayton and Anna Lee. So this is the
- 1:14:02first time we're meeting this couple. Clayton is the guy with the guinea pigs.
- 1:14:06Kenny Obese Chiicha love a guinea pig. I love in Obese Chiwawa.
- 1:14:11And it turns out they're pretty cute. But I'm like, take them on
- 1:14:14walks though. Yeah, it's not good for their house generally speaking. But
- 1:14:16Clayton, but he dresses up a skinney pig. I mean, do they
- 1:14:21enjoy it? Though? He seems kind of weird. Can you just pet
- 1:14:25me alone? I don't need to wear clothes. Meeting me in a natural
- 1:14:29habitat and I will thrive. Papa He lives in lexing Kin, Kentucky.
- 1:14:33He is a thirty year old who lives with his mother. His mother lives
- 1:14:38in a walk in closet. Honey, why why she was supposed to move
- 1:14:44out? But it was so comfy in the closet it's been three years.
- 1:14:46Well, she's a hoarder, obviously, because all of that mess in his
- 1:14:50apartment, in your own house, she probably hoarded it out. Did you
- 1:14:54see that storage unit? That was all her shit. I caun't with people
- 1:14:58like this. That was all her shit. Always the most belligerent people when
- 1:15:00you try and challenge them and all the ship that they're littering around your place,
- 1:15:04they get so upset and angry. Well, and I'm like, this
- 1:15:08woman is in a closet. Well, and this dude, this cyber security
- 1:15:11analyst, like, you're making decent enough money and I don't know what the
- 1:15:15cost of living is and lex and can it can't be, but it can't
- 1:15:17be like California for real. So I'm like, you can afford a two
- 1:15:21bedroom apartment so your mom doesn't have to live in the floor of a walking
- 1:15:25closet. But maybe she wants that. I don't know, honey, She's
- 1:15:28going to be a problem. This whole couple is gonna be a girlfriend's going
- 1:15:31to be a problem. And this guy is just so milk toast and shook.
- 1:15:38Is he a virgins he had sex before? Well, no, he's
- 1:15:42met Honaly in person, so maybe they did bang. I don't know.
- 1:15:45But he gains a lottle so he imprinted like a little duckling on her poo
- 1:15:48Nanni. He wants her back so much, but he can't get rid of
- 1:15:51his mother. She's so what They're gonna have sex in the bedroom probably,
- 1:15:55and she's going to be right there in the closet probably. Just like listening
- 1:16:00on this plant, I don't get it. Can you imagine if I mother
- 1:16:02in law? Absolutely, I'll just stay in your closet. Everybody really cuffy
- 1:16:08up with pillows down. No, I have my fucking pat my iPad,
- 1:16:11and I can watch it cray. I'll keep to myself. Just before we
- 1:16:15recorded this, her husband was telling me, will you take care of her
- 1:16:19if I die? And I was like, well yes. He's like,
- 1:16:21will you have her move in with you? And I said, yeah,
- 1:16:24you can live in my walk in class. Absolutely not. I want my
- 1:16:28own pad. If possible, I'd like my own pad. But I just
- 1:16:30this arrangement is preposterous. Is this for real? Is this script? Yeah?
- 1:16:34I think in his Oh my god, I think it's for real.
- 1:16:39But like Honily, seems like she is playing this dude for what it's worth.
- 1:16:44Because when Clayton gets on his computer to talk to hist his gaming friend
- 1:16:49or whatever that he's never met but he's known for thirteen years, he reveals
- 1:16:54that Honey has not told her family or anybody that Clayton even exists and at
- 1:16:59their dating and she hasn't told her dad, especially who her dad apparently calls
- 1:17:03her multiple times a day, like constantly, So I don't know if that's
- 1:17:10really her dad. Oh, Like, I'm wondering if it's like a boyfriend
- 1:17:13or something. Boyfriend. I don't know. It just seems shady. And
- 1:17:15then also Honaie revealed to Clayton that she's got a job waiting for her in
- 1:17:20the US. Oh okay, so I think she's just a green card for
- 1:17:25stair stepping to where she ultimately wants to be the because this is never going
- 1:17:29to work. No, she's gonna be pissed as soon as she gets into
- 1:17:31that apartment. And then that mother walks out from the kitchen with her hard
- 1:17:34face to on her way to the walk in closet, being like, can
- 1:17:39I bring some boxes for my storage unit and put it right in your space?
- 1:17:43Yai? Yeah, So they're gonna be a mess. Next we have
- 1:17:46Geehune and Devon two point zero A, Nick and Devin. Is that piggy
- 1:17:51Yeah okay, yeah, yeah, she's from Arkansas. Yes, she seems
- 1:17:57sweet. She's only twenty three Okay, it's really young. And then we
- 1:18:00have Nick who's from South Korea. I don't like him for some reason.
- 1:18:02Really mm mmmmmm. I think he there's something about him. He's got a
- 1:18:06mean strg there's something by checks sort of misogynistic about him, yeah, and
- 1:18:12judgmental about him. I don't like him. And she seems very vulnerable,
- 1:18:15yes, and gullible. She's young too. They met in Australia. I
- 1:18:19guess they were on some trip together or something. They met there, So
- 1:18:24that's how they know each other. And they've been dating for like two years.
- 1:18:28And so this episode picks up with her flying to South Korea because she's
- 1:18:32going to meet Nick's parents and hopefully get their blessing for him to move to
- 1:18:38the United States with her. And I don't know how this dude expects to
- 1:18:42adapt from Soul North not North Korea and Jesus Sol South Korea to go to
- 1:18:48Sarcey, Arkansas. It is going to be a huge culture show. I
- 1:18:53mean, I don't know how he's going to function, but we'll see how
- 1:18:56that goes. But he's like preparing her how to like interact with his parents
- 1:19:00and like don't look them in the eye and like make sure you bow and
- 1:19:03like drink from the side and like all these weird things. So she's prepared
- 1:19:09and respectful to his parents, and his parents sound like they don't like Americans
- 1:19:14and they don't like why we're so awesome. I mean, I guess to
- 1:19:17other cultures we are not to our own culture were. But they, they,
- 1:19:25I think, are judging her because they think that she is taking Nick
- 1:19:30away from them. Right, So I don't know, you have like a
- 1:19:31weird ulterior motive to come to America, seem like to make money or to
- 1:19:36use her for a green card. Because like, he's in Soul Korea,
- 1:19:40so he's probably gainfully employed, although Jihune wasn't. I knew he wasn't.
- 1:19:44But and he's gainfully employed, is he's not a loser yet? And so
- 1:19:47she doesn't want to go to Soul Korea because I would much rather go to
- 1:19:50Soul Korea personally Korean food. I mean me too, I love somebody,
- 1:19:55me too, eat my way up and down the corridors of Korea, honey,
- 1:20:00real. But no, they want to go to Arkansas. Oh god,
- 1:20:02have you ever been to Arkansas? No, and no offense if you're
- 1:20:04from Arkansas. That's a spooky steak Ethel's moving there. Oh, I actually
- 1:20:10loves it, and so it is big Ed and Liz, but there's just
- 1:20:13something about it. They're not very welcoming there. But I was in a
- 1:20:15couple of mountain towns, like out back places, and it was kind of
- 1:20:18like Colorado City. Oh yeah, they're looking at you, watching what are
- 1:20:21you doing in my town? Yeah, just a vibe there that I'm not
- 1:20:25really a fan of. So I'm worried for this young man. I'm worried
- 1:20:28too. And if I don't even know where Sirzy Arkansas is, so I'm
- 1:20:30like, that must be a small ass fucking town. Well, you know,
- 1:20:32Ruddit is already talking about it, and they're like, he'd better be
- 1:20:34ready because it's a really small town, racist town. Oh and then there's
- 1:20:40other people saying, actually it's not that bad. It's a college town.
- 1:20:43There's different kinds of people here. It'll be all right, But we'll see.
- 1:20:47Why is his name nick? Though? I don't know, Okay,
- 1:20:51I'm just wondering. We haven't really met like a lot of them yet.
- 1:20:55Okay, so it's only been the last like two episodes. Why does he
- 1:20:57call her piggy? That seems rude of endearment? He does she like it?
- 1:21:01No? I mean she's just like, well, I didn't realize that
- 1:21:04that was a terminitive endearment. But he's like, no, I think she's
- 1:21:06cute. She's kind of chubby, but like you know, to them with
- 1:21:10the K pop stars and everything, like chubby is not our version of chubby.
- 1:21:15Chubby is like healthy, okay, because you know some of the K
- 1:21:18pop stars, like there's one in particular, I can't remember the name,
- 1:21:20but your daughter's obsessed with her. Where like everybody hates her because she's like
- 1:21:27a normal looking chick and she has like meat on her body. Oh so
- 1:21:30they call her fat. Yes, Oh so they're gonna think, well,
- 1:21:31I want to call her piggy because I don't remember her name. Yeah,
- 1:21:34they're gonna think she's obese. Yeah, they're gonna think she's like chubby.
- 1:21:39But like that's probably why I don't like her, because he calls her piggy
- 1:21:42and she doesn't like it. Let me catch my husband calling me something that
- 1:21:45I don't like. Well, yeah, she calls things and I'm fine with
- 1:21:49it. He calls me his six hundred pound wife, which is fine,
- 1:21:54but like if I didn't like it and he called me that, that would
- 1:21:58not stand. And he also never that and vice versa, because that's a
- 1:22:00disrespectful thing to do. That's why a great nick whatever his name is.
- 1:22:04I'm not really a fan of him either, because I think Devin is pretty
- 1:22:09nice. Like I'm hoping she's not going to be like old season Devon with
- 1:22:13Devin and Gihoon, because she was a fucking monster. But we'll see,
- 1:22:16well in the next episode. She's crying already, so something goes wrong with
- 1:22:19them parents. And he predicted that Karian restaurant. Really yeah, He's like,
- 1:22:24she gets overwhelmed really easily, and she'll cry. And didn't he say
- 1:22:26something like, I hope if she blows this up for me, Yeah,
- 1:22:30so because he's already reach she'll mess it up. But because he he said
- 1:22:34that if she cries, it's going to make his parents hate her. Oh
- 1:22:38my god. So I think that he's saying that in reference to like,
- 1:22:41I hope my parents don't see something in her, see something that she's done
- 1:22:45something to make well. The way he phrased it though, is like he's
- 1:22:48setting her up to fail, like she's going to blow it up. How
- 1:22:51about you be her advocate and representative. Is the person who loves her and
- 1:22:56shield her and cover her like a lover would do. But that's too much
- 1:23:00to ask for. It is ninety day fiance to ask for. Mistogynistic prick
- 1:23:04calls his girlfriend Peggy against her will m h. Next we have Geno and
- 1:23:10Jasmine. We still have more. Oh god, gen Chasman. She's absolutely
- 1:23:15insane. Ray Absolutely, there's something about her. I like, though,
- 1:23:20what don't There's just like something her sense of humor, like, so there's
- 1:23:25something about her that's a bit magical. Yes, ugly he is. Gino
- 1:23:31is such a slug. Gino is such a liar. Genos sent her nudes
- 1:23:39to his ex girlfriend. He is such a vile loser. I don't know
- 1:23:44why he would be with her because she's emotionally, verbally and possibly physically abusive.
- 1:23:48But she's way out of his league. Oh, one hundred thousand person.
- 1:23:53And now she has a rash and she's pissed about it. So this
- 1:23:56episode picks up with her itching her body all over. She's got hives from
- 1:24:00head to toe because Gina's house is dusty and dirty and gross. And you
- 1:24:04didn't see this episode, no, but when she arrived in America in Michigan
- 1:24:09wearing the thinnest fucking jacket every he doesn't and being like, I'm so cold,
- 1:24:13they just can't handle it. She gets to his house and he decorated
- 1:24:16with the Panamanium flag and everything, and he put it upside down, which
- 1:24:20was automatically an insult to her. And then there's like dust everywhere. He
- 1:24:25like didn't get any good food for her because she's vegan, so he didn't
- 1:24:29buy anything for her to eat. And then she gets to the Okay,
- 1:24:32she gets to the bathroom. I saw that, and there's literally a log
- 1:24:35of shit in the toilet. Okay, I didn't see that. I saw
- 1:24:39I saw the toilet. Well, there's a shit in there. Yes,
- 1:24:42come on, it's the standard in the hell to flush. It's the bar
- 1:24:45in hell for men. Like, how are you going to be fifty years
- 1:24:48old like Gino is and not know to flush your fucking toilet and just hire
- 1:24:53a maid to come on in and clean up your place? Well, because
- 1:24:56a woman is coming to town, he can't hire a maid because he quit
- 1:24:59his job. He quit his job? Is that way he could spend time
- 1:25:02with her? Why did she want to be with him again? And his
- 1:25:05dick doesn't work, if I recall correctly, his dick don't work. It
- 1:25:10does work if she peas on him. Oh, or she seems to love
- 1:25:14I don't know, dude, I don't know what is wrong. I think
- 1:25:16she has a weird complex with Gino where she thinks she's so beautiful because she
- 1:25:21is objectively she less beautiful than she used to be beautiful. Yes, she
- 1:25:26used to be beautiful before the fillers, right, But like I think in
- 1:25:30her mind she could get any man, and I think she could. She
- 1:25:32could, and she's choosing Gino because maybe money or something I don't know,
- 1:25:39or maybe she's got a weird like punishment fetish for him, like maybe it's
- 1:25:42a weird dynamic humiliation. Used to be an engineer, right, so he
- 1:25:45should be employable. Yes, okay, But like I think she's got a
- 1:25:49complex, like he won't come with me during sex, so am I ugly?
- 1:25:55Like maybe that's why she's gotten all these postive surgeries. Like I don't
- 1:25:58know, dude. They have a weird fucking vibe to me, and she's
- 1:26:01so emotionally unregulated and unstable, like it's insane. But I mean, how
- 1:26:05do you know not to clean up your house? Like the first time I
- 1:26:09met my husband, who was a bachelor. You know, he told me
- 1:26:13he owned his own home. He had like five vehicles, and I'm like,
- 1:26:15oh, score. So I went to his house. You see,
- 1:26:19it is on literally the side of a highway. And I went into the
- 1:26:24house and it was clean. It was serviceable. I mean it was decorated
- 1:26:29in the most terrible ways with like man metal posters on the walls and paneled
- 1:26:35walls and like industrial berber carpet, but like it was vacuumed, like there
- 1:26:40was nothing on the counters, which were like Vinylnola or whatever. It was
- 1:26:45really a terrible, terrible situation. But it was clean. Yeah, because
- 1:26:49he knew I was gonna come over and maybe I was going to drop some
- 1:26:51pannies. Yeah, I did not do I did not do it. He
- 1:26:54didn't give up the cook but at least those sheets were clean. Yeah,
- 1:27:00his bedroom was cleaned. Do you know every man knows. Take what you
- 1:27:03got, Shine it up, yeah, hint it up, dust it off
- 1:27:06right, you make it ready for the woman. You're not asking for much
- 1:27:11really, to clean up. Flush your fucking toilet, asshole. It was
- 1:27:15unbelieveabil. She walks in the bathroom and immediately is like, are you fucking
- 1:27:19kidding me right now, and he closes the toilets he and flushes. He
- 1:27:25was so embarrassed. Oh my god. And so in this episode he's like,
- 1:27:28my house isn't dirty. I'm not a hoarder or anything. Yeah,
- 1:27:31it's not dirty. And she has hives from hegetoe. Have you ever had
- 1:27:34hives from heagetoe? Yes? I have two. Yeah, there's nothing worse
- 1:27:38than the world. Fucking awful. It's terrible and it lasts for like a
- 1:27:42week to two weeks. She had to get an allergy shot. Yep.
- 1:27:44They had to go to urgent care to get an allergy shot. So she
- 1:27:46terrible. Be Okay, no, honey, I'd be checking out deuces going
- 1:27:51back to Panama and my ex boyfriend Dane for by the way, way hotter
- 1:27:56than Geno. Yeah. When she uses that in arguments all the time,
- 1:27:59she's like, he fucks me, that's a fact. I mean, yeah,
- 1:28:02can't get his stick card? Why are you with gnand and this weaponized
- 1:28:06incompetence toilet and I can't be expected to know how to dust a shelf.
- 1:28:12That's why you're here to be my bangmate. Yeah, so get to it,
- 1:28:15absolutely wild. Does she have an OnlyFans. I don't know. I
- 1:28:18wouldn't be surprised. God, I gotta make money somehow, I mean quit
- 1:28:24his job, So what are you gonna do? Wow? Yeah. And
- 1:28:28then the last couple we didn't see in this episode was Manuel and Ashley,
- 1:28:30which we don't have to talk too much about because they're really annoying. But
- 1:28:33Ashley's the witch. Manuel's the Catholic. I'm pretty sure he's here just for
- 1:28:40the green card because he's got a ton of family members in New York,
- 1:28:44which is where Ashley lives, and she didn't even know that he had all
- 1:28:46this family up in New York. Last episode, there was some argument with
- 1:28:49a phone where he was demanding to have a phone so he could contact his
- 1:28:54family, and then she was able to get a phone for him, but
- 1:28:57it would take two days. He's like, that's not good enough, and
- 1:29:00he gave his family Ashley's phone number, and so they were hounding her,
- 1:29:05like calling her twenty times a day, Oh my god, no, thank
- 1:29:09you to try and get a hold of him. So there's some weird shit
- 1:29:12going on with them where I think he's lying, he's scamming her. Yeah,
- 1:29:15but she's also kind of annoying person. Okay, well, but she's
- 1:29:19a witch, so that's gonna be interesting. Yeah, they've already gotten into
- 1:29:23it about it. Oh god, I missed it. Yeah. Shoot,
- 1:29:26I'll have to go back and watch, but I won't. You won't.
- 1:29:28I'll just recap you everywhere. Let me know what happens, girl. And
- 1:29:30then we have the preview. So Anna Lee arrives in America and she goes
- 1:29:34into Clayton's house with his weird mom and the guinea pigs and everything. And
- 1:29:39I'm sure that's going to be a mess. Are you so blessed to have
- 1:29:44a mother in law like me? Don't you just think every single day?
- 1:29:46Wow, it could have been way worse. She could have been in my
- 1:29:48closets. Awesome, I have a podcast with her. She's pretty, You're
- 1:29:53like my best friend. It could have been way worse. There's horror stories
- 1:29:58of people with their mother in law us. And then we have Manuel and
- 1:30:01Ashley going to couples therapy, so we'll get to see that it would be
- 1:30:05great if it was couple's therapy with doctor Orna. Oh yeah, oh god,
- 1:30:10yes. And then Nick and Devin have dinner with his parents as she
- 1:30:13starts crying, and then Justin introduces Nicky to his friends and she immediately talks
- 1:30:17about how she used to be a prostitute and do drugs, and then Gino
- 1:30:23and Jasmine fight. Okay, well I look forward to it. Yeah,
- 1:30:27and I'm excited to be on a new adventure. Yeah, Sister Wives is
- 1:30:30winding down, Plastla is winding down for the inevitable. We already know what's
- 1:30:33gonna happen. Everybody leaves their alls, divorces, families are blown apart.
- 1:30:38So now we need new victims. Yes, to follow, to stalk from
- 1:30:42our dumpster, the perch of our dumpsters. Yeah, watch and judgment.
- 1:30:45Does these people flail about their lives? Ridiculous people? There was no ridiculous
- 1:30:51much better than I know we are, though, everybody is, well,
- 1:30:58this was fun. Yeah, I'm liking the season already. I'm pretty entertained
- 1:31:00by all of these people, even though they're longer episodes, like, there's
- 1:31:04a lot of content. Yeah, yeah for it. I look forward to
- 1:31:08continuing the journey with you. Yeah, I am running out of gas,
- 1:31:11though, how long have we been potting? I feel like potting for a
- 1:31:13long tree to four days, so we gotta go. So anything else that
- 1:31:15we need to say to these beautiful records before we go beadressed. Well,
- 1:31:19if you love our podcast, I sure hope that you give us a glowing
- 1:31:23five star review on your favorite podcast platform. It really helps us. Girl.
- 1:31:27Thank you so much, and we'll be back next week to talk Sister
- 1:31:30Wives. We should also mention, by the way, we're off for Thanksgiving
- 1:31:32week. Yeah, but you know what, I think the season finale of
- 1:31:35Sister Wives is going to be on that they're not gonna break it up.
- 1:31:40I don't think so bad. Last time they made us wait, so they're
- 1:31:43amazing. Here's the thing. If Sister Wives releases their final episode the Monday
- 1:31:48of thanks and we're gonna have to do it. To do it, we're
- 1:31:50gonna have to going just for you, not for platform. For ninety we'll
- 1:31:55be there for Sister Wives. But if it's not the finale, we're gone.
- 1:31:59The only content you can get is gonna be on Patroon because we release
- 1:32:00something every week. You're gonna love it. Yeah, and so until we
- 1:32:05return, please don't forget that we love you so much, and please
