- 1:06Speaker 2: Let's jump right into our thoughts on Harvest Moon with
- 1:09Speaker 2: a synopsis.
- 1:11Speaker 3: After her family goes bankrupt, a city woman travels through
- 1:16Speaker 3: the country to fix up a struggling pumpkin farm that
- 1:19Speaker 3: her father bought as an investment.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Harvest Moon was directed by Peter de Luise. Peter has
- 1:24Speaker 2: a long resume of Hallmark movies that he has directed
- 1:27Speaker 2: including Girls Got Hallmark favorites like The Birthday Wish and
- 1:30Speaker 2: Hanukah Onraie. He has also directed and produced a number
- 1:34Speaker 2: of episodes of When Calls the Heart. Fun fact. He
- 1:36Speaker 2: is the son of Dom de Luise.
- 1:38Speaker 3: He's also the brother of Luke's sisters husband i'm an
- 1:42Speaker 3: Escaro Okay, DJ.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yes Michael Delowise huh is Peter de Luise's brother, Yes Nice,
- 1:55Speaker 2: son of.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Dom Delowise Okay. JP Martin and Ron Oliver the teleplay
- 2:00Speaker 3: for Harvest Moon.
- 2:02Speaker 1: This is J. P.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Martin's fourth and final writing credit. He also receives the
- 2:07Speaker 3: story credit for this film. Ron Oliver, a Busy Homewark
- 2:11Speaker 3: writer and director, co wrote the teleplay for this film.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Ron has also written scripts for two of the Groomsman movies,
- 2:19Speaker 3: Christmas at the Plaza, A Timeless Christmas, and This appears
- 2:24Speaker 3: to be his first script for Homemark.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Jesse Shram stars as Jenny. This appears to be the
- 2:30Speaker 2: first of many Hallmark movies for the actress, whose resume
- 2:32Speaker 2: includes The Birthday Wish, A Nashville Christmas, and Mystic Christmas.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Jesse Hutch plays Brett Jarrett. Jesse has an impressive ninety
- 2:40Speaker 3: eight acting credits, which include a role in twenty episodes
- 2:44Speaker 3: of the Hallmark series Cedar Cove. His upcoming projects include
- 2:48Speaker 3: the movie Mimics, directed by and starring Christopher Paul Laha
- 2:53Speaker 3: do Out sometime in twenty twenty six. Rowan con plays
- 2:56Speaker 3: younger brother Harry.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Rowan's twenty two acting credits include It Was Always You
- 3:00Speaker 2: and sigin Seal Delivered The.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Bows We Have Made. Patricia Isaac plays Bestie Brook. Harvest
- 3:06Speaker 3: Moon was early in Patricia's career. She has since gone
- 3:09Speaker 3: on to appear in a New Year's Resolution, and she
- 3:13Speaker 3: holds the story credit for last Year's Christmas with the
- 3:17Speaker 3: sings Oh, interesting, guys, this is the first time I've
- 3:21Speaker 3: read this, but wow.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Tell us play by Emily ting Yeah, story by Patricia Isaac.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Barbara Pollard plays Aunt Rosie. Barbara also appeared in The
- 3:30Speaker 2: Birthday Wish with Jesse Shram, as well as in All
- 3:33Speaker 2: of My Heart in Love, a movie we'll be reviewing later.
- 3:35Speaker 3: In this fall throwback series, Familiar Face, Linda Boyd plays
- 3:40Speaker 3: lou If she looks familiar, that's because she has one
- 3:43Speaker 3: hundred and sixty five acting credits and counting. She was
- 3:47Speaker 3: in the first two seasons of Sullivan's Crossing as well
- 3:50Speaker 3: as the first four seasons of Virgin River. Willie Ames
- 3:54Speaker 3: plays William Stone. Willie will always be Young Buddy Lemback
- 3:57Speaker 3: to Us, but he has gone on to hold fifty
- 3:59Speaker 3: one acting credits, including twenty sixteen's Dater's Handbook as well
- 4:03Speaker 3: as the one season Wonder Date My Dad from UpTV.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Harvest Moon was filmed in British Columbia, Canada and twenty
- 4:11Speaker 3: fifteen one Final Note.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Leila Fitzgerald plays daughter Abby. She has twenty eight acting credits,
- 4:16Speaker 2: including four Darrow and Daryl movies. She also played daughter
- 4:19Speaker 2: Elisa in Date My Dad.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Let's take a quick break for some ads, and.
- 4:23Speaker 2: We'll come right back with our first impressions of Harvest Moon.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm scared to ask Wendy, what was your first impression
- 4:38Speaker 2: of Harvest Moon?
- 4:40Speaker 3: You know, I think it's bad when I'm rooting harder
- 4:42Speaker 3: for the pumpkin cream storyline than our central couple. Oh no,
- 4:47Speaker 3: oh no.
- 4:48Speaker 2: My first impression is Jesse Shram saved the farm.
- 4:52Speaker 3: What Like, It's hard. That's what I hated everything about.
- 4:59Speaker 2: That's my main Well, hopefully like something, let's talk about it.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I do have some likes. So what I liked is
- 5:07Speaker 3: that Jin played by Jesse Shram, who I love dearly.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I think she is so freaking adorable. She wasn't your
- 5:13Speaker 3: stereotypical spoiled heiress, I thought. I mean, it starts out
- 5:20Speaker 3: like Paris Hilton level of entitlement. Sure, which I was like,
- 5:24Speaker 3: I don't like this, only because my truly, as I'm
- 5:30Speaker 3: watching this, my note says, I don't think this character
- 5:33Speaker 3: would be likable in twenty twenty five. I think this
- 5:37Speaker 3: character works in twenty fifteen and before that, because there
- 5:42Speaker 3: was this like you know, like rise in the social
- 5:48Speaker 3: society girl type image, you know. Anyway, But with that said,
- 5:54Speaker 3: I did like that she wasn't rude or mean spiritage.
- 5:58Speaker 3: She was like very polite. I thought she was self aware,
- 6:01Speaker 3: even though like she's out of touch financially, like specifically
- 6:05Speaker 3: when she says to Brett like just by a new tractor,
- 6:08Speaker 3: Like it's that kind of like I'm like a cringe
- 6:10Speaker 3: inside a little bit. But she never like went low
- 6:13Speaker 3: with the people, even when the talentspeople were not nice
- 6:16Speaker 3: to her. Yeah, what I'm gonna talk about a little
- 6:20Speaker 3: bit later too. I came away with it towards the
- 6:23Speaker 3: end of movie. I wanted her to succeed so she
- 6:26Speaker 3: wasn't completely vapid, you know.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yet to piggyback on that, I like, she's she's not
- 6:32Speaker 2: just a dumb rich girl. She is looking at this
- 6:36Speaker 2: farm as a business. Initially she's like, I'm just gonna
- 6:38Speaker 2: sell it and make money because I don't have any
- 6:41Speaker 2: And then when she gets there, she's willing to get
- 6:44Speaker 2: her hands dirty, even though they lean hard into the
- 6:48Speaker 2: cluelessness of you know, she shows up dressed in stilettos
- 6:51Speaker 2: and all of that, and she has ideas that are
- 6:54Speaker 2: good business ideas. Weighs for the farm to make money. Yes,
- 6:58Speaker 2: she continues to be a little out of touch and
- 7:00Speaker 2: makes comments that are out of touch, and she it
- 7:02Speaker 2: takes a while for her to grow out of that,
- 7:04Speaker 2: but she does have a brain, and I appreciate that
- 7:07Speaker 2: she was thinking that way and they allowed her to
- 7:10Speaker 2: grow in that way.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah. My next like is, you know, I love a
- 7:15Speaker 3: makeover trope. I just talked about it earlier this week
- 7:17Speaker 3: with Catchup the Day, and this movie gave us a
- 7:20Speaker 3: few get we have Jin helping Lou and the other girls.
- 7:25Speaker 3: I kind of like that Harry's dance lesson complete with
- 7:31Speaker 3: these shared headphones. It was giving footloose energy so cute.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I loved. I love that those scenes felt very lighthearted
- 7:38Speaker 3: and fun, and it gave this character jin like a
- 7:42Speaker 3: space to show that she wasn't just about like money
- 7:46Speaker 3: and privilege, like she really wanted to connect with these people.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah, she showed up for all of them. She shows
- 7:52Speaker 2: it for the daughter, she shows it for the brother,
- 7:54Speaker 2: she shows it for Lou. She's real supportive of everybody.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I mean, there's so much warmth in this movie. It's
- 7:59Speaker 2: so silly when it starts, and it's so over the
- 8:02Speaker 2: top with them in that clothing store without outrageous sparkly
- 8:07Speaker 2: silver couch, like I don't even know what's happening there
- 8:09Speaker 2: that You're like, you know it has to go in
- 8:12Speaker 2: a different direction, Like they can't keep up this level
- 8:16Speaker 2: of insanity.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Well maybe then I'm a jerk for Like that set
- 8:20Speaker 3: the tone for the whole movie for me, And I
- 8:22Speaker 3: was like, ugh, I don't think you're a jerk for me,
- 8:25Speaker 3: because I had read the synopsis and I was like,
- 8:28Speaker 3: all right, her downfall is coming any minute now. I mean,
- 8:30Speaker 3: you saw that moment of her I felt like the
- 8:33Speaker 3: card declining moment was written on the wall from the
- 8:36Speaker 3: second they start shopping, simply because the premise of the
- 8:38Speaker 3: movie is rich girl loses all her money. So I
- 8:43Speaker 3: was willing to forgive that part because I knew that
- 8:46Speaker 3: it was ultimately going to be short lived. And I
- 8:49Speaker 3: think Jen and Brooke have a little bit of a
- 8:53Speaker 3: growth moment, Like they're both they both seem so vapid
- 8:57Speaker 3: and self absorbed when they're in the store, but both
- 9:02Speaker 3: of them are smart women. Brooks ultimately the one who
- 9:05Speaker 3: helps her turn this business into a success, and so
- 9:08Speaker 3: it's to me the annoying part is relatively short lived,
- 9:12Speaker 3: and then we see them grow into watchable, likable characters. Yeah,
- 9:18Speaker 3: to piggyback on Brooke, I do appreciate that she has
- 9:21Speaker 3: this small redemption because I thought she was written as
- 9:24Speaker 3: like pretty awful, but she's a girl's girl. When she
- 9:28Speaker 3: overheared that stuff, you know, the diner girl was like
- 9:33Speaker 3: spreading rumors about like what Brett was doing, she went
- 9:36Speaker 3: immediately yeah, jin to tell her, and I was like,
- 9:39Speaker 3: I loved that. I'm so happy it wasn't like this
- 9:42Speaker 3: like weird, silly miss communication and like there was some
- 9:46Speaker 3: sort of fallout from that, so I thought that was
- 9:48Speaker 3: a great way to move this movie forward. And then
- 9:51Speaker 3: it was refreshing to see then these two go on
- 9:56Speaker 3: to be successful in their you know, in their next endeavor.
- 10:00Speaker 3: M Speaking of the pumpkin cream, it's a lot in theory.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I didn't hate it. One of the other movies Hallmark
- 10:08Speaker 3: movies that I like is that I think it's it's
- 10:11Speaker 3: a Tyler Hines Lacey Sha Beer movie Sweet Carolina. If
- 10:15Speaker 3: they have like a pecan something or other, like dy
- 10:19Speaker 3: remember the premise of that movie at all? At all?
- 10:23Speaker 3: I swear they make some sort of like beauty product
- 10:26Speaker 3: out of something. Yeah. I think anyway, it's a little
- 10:30Speaker 3: bit silly, this pumpkin cream slubschet, and I'm going to
- 10:33Speaker 3: talk about it and my wishes specifically. But I did
- 10:35Speaker 3: like how it ended up at the end of the movie,
- 10:38Speaker 3: tying everything together. It gave us like some really like quirky,
- 10:42Speaker 3: funny moments where Brett and Harry like accidentally eat they
- 10:46Speaker 3: think it's pudding and eating it, you know, and then
- 10:49Speaker 3: Brooke discovering like its special ingredient. Like it added that
- 10:53Speaker 3: cozy fall thread that made it a fall movie.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Well, we have this big ensemble, and you needed something
- 11:01Speaker 2: to tie them all back together because they make us
- 11:04Speaker 2: care about all of these people, Lou and the daughter
- 11:06Speaker 2: and the aunt.
- 11:09Speaker 3: She's an aunt, right, Like.
- 11:10Speaker 2: We need some way to bring all of these people
- 11:13Speaker 2: back together, and it can't just be for the love story.
- 11:18Speaker 2: So I think they did a nice job with that
- 11:20Speaker 2: pumpkin cream and making everyone involved in that whole process
- 11:24Speaker 2: in the end, what do you think of Willie Ames?
- 11:27Speaker 3: He was fine. I just wish he had kind of
- 11:29Speaker 3: a bigger role. I it's so.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Funny because I okay, I thought they gave him way
- 11:34Speaker 2: more than they usually do.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh really, I mean in my mind, maybe just because
- 11:39Speaker 3: I'm a child of like the seventies and eighties, Like
- 11:43Speaker 3: I feel like he's like a real big actor. He
- 11:47Speaker 3: should have had a bigger maybe steak in this. But
- 11:50Speaker 3: I don't know, Like it's fine.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah, is it a little bit of stunt casting to
- 11:54Speaker 2: put him in this. I was just glad that they
- 11:57Speaker 2: kept I envisioned his involvement being like right up top, honey,
- 12:00Speaker 2: we have no money, and then at the end summer resolution,
- 12:03Speaker 2: I'm glad that they continued to keep him involved. I
- 12:06Speaker 2: loved his house, the flashes of like the arcade games
- 12:08Speaker 2: and the bowling alley and all the overtop silliness.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I thought was fun. Yeah, and then when he shows
- 12:14Speaker 3: up at the end, he's like a little bit country
- 12:16Speaker 3: and I just thought I thought it was nicely done.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I just would like to point out the line my
- 12:21Speaker 2: big growthm big around here is not a line we
- 12:23Speaker 2: would probably hear in twenty twenty five Homewark, But I
- 12:26Speaker 2: liked it, and I do love a one year flash forward.
- 12:31Speaker 3: You don't think that we get that line in twenty
- 12:34Speaker 3: twenty five, we get like shades of fun Mayby like that.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Everyone proves me wrong, Hallmark writers. Yeah, Ken, we talk
- 12:42Speaker 3: about the wishes. Oh yeah, let's hear him. Brett as
- 12:47Speaker 3: a love interest does not work for me. What are
- 12:50Speaker 3: you freaking kidding me? Right now? This guy red Flag,
- 12:54Speaker 3: get the f out of here. Okay. First of all,
- 12:58Speaker 3: they give him the most tragic I've ever seen on Hallmark,
- 13:02Speaker 3: like you're gonna you're a widow and an orphan. Right,
- 13:05Speaker 3: His mom and.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Dad, everyone's dead, all in the same car accident.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I was kind of confused. I was like, wait, who's
- 13:13Speaker 3: the Is this his? At one point I thought his
- 13:16Speaker 3: brother was his son like I couldn't. I was like,
- 13:19Speaker 3: who died here? And how were they all related? Anyway?
- 13:21Speaker 3: Tragic backstory which could have made me sympathetic towards him,
- 13:26Speaker 3: I don't know. Instead, he is a grumpy he's mean,
- 13:30Speaker 3: he has a terrible attitude, he's rigid, he's dismissive, he
- 13:35Speaker 3: is down right unkind to.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Just so, the grumpy sunshine romance trope is not going
- 13:42Speaker 2: to work on you. So I think this is the
- 13:46Speaker 2: point which I need to share my wish before we
- 13:50Speaker 2: go any farther, because I think you're gonna have some thoughts,
- 13:54Speaker 2: my thoughts on the conflict. You're gonna be so mad
- 13:57Speaker 2: at me? Is it woman on woman crime? That I
- 14:00Speaker 2: didn't think Brett did anything too terribly wrong, because listen,
- 14:06Speaker 2: then you can yell at me. He wanted to hate
- 14:10Speaker 2: her from the beginning, right because she was coming in
- 14:13Speaker 2: and gonna sell the farm out from underneath them. He
- 14:16Speaker 2: felt threatened by that. So his response is like, we're
- 14:19Speaker 2: gonna make her hate it here, she's gonna sell it.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Nobody's gonna want to buy it. I'll get it for
- 14:25Speaker 2: a song, is his phrasing. Uh okay, he doesn't want
- 14:29Speaker 2: to lose the farm, so he wants to get rid
- 14:31Speaker 2: of her. It doesn't seem that crazy to be like, go,
- 14:33Speaker 2: do these dumb chores that we don't actually do just
- 14:35Speaker 2: to get you out of my hair. And then you're
- 14:38Speaker 2: gonna sell the farm, and then I'm gonna buy it
- 14:40Speaker 2: because this is my farm.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I work here just because you own it. I don't
- 14:46Speaker 3: didn't bother me all that much. No, I hated everything
- 14:50Speaker 3: you just said. What I really hated about him was
- 14:56Speaker 3: like he's like, oh, I'm gonna teach her a lesson,
- 14:58Speaker 3: Like fuck off, dude, Like no, oh, I don't. I'm
- 15:01Speaker 3: gonna I'm gonna make your time here super hard. So no,
- 15:07Speaker 3: I just hated it. I hated it so much. It
- 15:10Speaker 3: feels malicious. It feels what's that word vindictive? Yes, fiteful yes. Also,
- 15:20Speaker 3: but you know, like when you plan to kill somebody,
- 15:22Speaker 3: what is that called premeditated? Yeah, I feel like, you know,
- 15:27Speaker 3: like he knew when she was coming back out there.
- 15:30Speaker 3: He was like, this is what I'm going to do.
- 15:32Speaker 3: I'm going to make her do all this stuff and
- 15:34Speaker 3: she's going to see. I just hate it. I hated him.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I hated him. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 15:39Speaker 2: But then the stuff he made her do was like
- 15:41Speaker 2: count pumpkins, and so it was so innocuous. Once he's there,
- 15:44Speaker 2: he's not putting her into actual danger.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's the idea behind it. But he even
- 15:50Speaker 3: had a thought it does not make him a good guy.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a bad person. Maybe I don't like it.
- 15:55Speaker 3: What else to do? Wish for it? When they have
- 15:57Speaker 3: their big kiss finally, I was like, no, this is
- 15:59Speaker 3: not earned. Like Jen to me, like I never saw
- 16:04Speaker 3: he okay in the barn. Yeah, he never gave any
- 16:08Speaker 3: indication that like he was into her. A few scenes
- 16:11Speaker 3: right before that is when they are at the cafe
- 16:14Speaker 3: and they're talking about the violets and she's like pitching
- 16:16Speaker 3: the idea about the violets and he gets pissed off
- 16:18Speaker 3: and he leaves. He's like, I've lost my appetite. And
- 16:22Speaker 3: then in two scenes later you're like, now I'm want
- 16:24Speaker 3: to kiss her. No, you're not into her. I don't
- 16:28Speaker 3: know why she's into him, because he's super unlikable other
- 16:31Speaker 3: than he's like this honky farm guy who she doesn't
- 16:35Speaker 3: get to interact with in the city because she's this
- 16:37Speaker 3: big city girl. I no, no, no, no, no no.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I do agree with you there that I felt like
- 16:43Speaker 2: that kiss when she's like taking his hand and it's
- 16:46Speaker 2: talking about like sometimes it's okay to move on. I
- 16:48Speaker 2: was like, well, I don't think he's there yet. From
- 16:51Speaker 2: there though, once they had established that there was feelings,
- 16:54Speaker 2: I thought I liked the progression, but I don't disagree
- 16:57Speaker 2: with you about that first kiss.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Hated it. Did it? The other thing I didn't like
- 17:03Speaker 3: and I mentioned it p top was like the Paris
- 17:05Speaker 3: Hilton era, the whole I don't do carbs. I just
- 17:09Speaker 3: it was so twenty What do you mean I can't
- 17:12Speaker 3: put metal in a microwave? Uh huh? All that stuff
- 17:15Speaker 3: like it doesn't land I. And again I think I'm
- 17:22Speaker 3: the outlier here. I want give me a character that
- 17:27Speaker 3: feels aspirational, that gives you know, funny that is, well, okay, fine,
- 17:34Speaker 3: Jesse shram As this character. There was some funny moments,
- 17:37Speaker 3: but like I want to aspire to something, I want
- 17:40Speaker 3: to look up to somebody, and it just is just
- 17:43Speaker 3: like nepotism and like it's full on what is that
- 17:51Speaker 3: Paris Hilton Nicole Richie's simple yes, yes, yes, all right,
- 17:59Speaker 3: let's talk to you. Did you see that? Oh no,
- 18:01Speaker 3: I have one. Oh okay, tell me your final wish
- 18:04Speaker 3: the pumpkin cream. Yeah. I talked about like liking this
- 18:08Speaker 3: little subplot, but some of the details are ridiculous. Here
- 18:11Speaker 3: this leftover jar has been sitting here but is somewhat
- 18:14Speaker 3: somehow usable still because when she makes the recipe, it's
- 18:20Speaker 3: all like food products. It doesn't happen and it's not
- 18:26Speaker 3: like you're telling me it's not growing mold in it.
- 18:30Speaker 3: It grosses me out. And then, like I said in
- 18:34Speaker 3: Double Scoop, what in the diy when they launched this project,
- 18:38Speaker 3: this like product of theirs and it's still a little
- 18:42Speaker 3: Mason jars. It's like and like a homemade label. This
- 18:47Speaker 3: is not something these like high end women are going
- 18:49Speaker 3: to be using.
- 18:51Speaker 2: No, especially not when they've got it didn't make sense
- 18:54Speaker 2: because on the one hand, is this something you're producing
- 18:56Speaker 2: on the farm to be selling out the farm or
- 18:58Speaker 2: is it something where you've got this whole suite of
- 19:02Speaker 2: executives participating.
- 19:04Speaker 3: It didn't right. Yeah, it was not giving.
- 19:07Speaker 2: But again, think back to our early YouTube days when
- 19:11Speaker 2: we were doing like small business beauty unboxing, Like some
- 19:15Speaker 2: of the products were like that. Now we're day and
- 19:19Speaker 2: age of like celebrity skincare lines and those would die
- 19:23Speaker 2: on a vine so fast.
- 19:24Speaker 3: Yeah, but some were a little rough. Okay, that's fair.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It was like an Etsy beauty product. Are you buying
- 19:35Speaker 3: beauty products from Etsy? I thought Neil polish from Etsy? Once.
- 19:39Speaker 3: That feels different than something that you're gonna put on
- 19:41Speaker 3: your face. Yeah, okay, that's all I got for wishes.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Let's talk. Did you see that? I have a few,
- 19:48Speaker 3: let's hear them. Okay, I might have missed this, but
- 19:51Speaker 3: on Jen's bedroom door was did they ever mention like
- 19:55Speaker 3: a sign hanging on the door. I don't think so.
- 20:00Speaker 3: At one point, Lou goes to her bedroom and knocks
- 20:02Speaker 3: on the door and there is like an outline of uh,
- 20:06Speaker 3: there was a sign on that door, and like it
- 20:08Speaker 3: has been sun faded, and it just so I was like, wait,
- 20:12Speaker 3: did I miss something earlier in the movie that there
- 20:14Speaker 3: was a sign on this door and it was like
- 20:16Speaker 3: made into like a joke at some point. No, maybe not. Okay,
- 20:24Speaker 3: during the dance scene at the end, when they're doing
- 20:27Speaker 3: the line dance, line dance, I was gonna call it
- 20:31Speaker 3: the electric slide. Is that what it's called?
- 20:34Speaker 2: That's I don't know. If that's what they're doing, but
- 20:36Speaker 2: that is a line dance.
- 20:38Speaker 3: And one scene Jen is holding onto Brett's shoulders and
- 20:41Speaker 3: then the next shot like her she's far away from him,
- 20:45Speaker 3: like it wasn't enough to like no continuity have dropped
- 20:49Speaker 3: her arms. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have two small ones.
- 20:53Speaker 3: The pumpkin seedlings that they were like replanting. Those look
- 20:58Speaker 3: like ivy groundcover. They don't actually look like pumpkin leaves.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I thought, m but that's just like a me thing.
- 21:08Speaker 3: And last the selfie stick. Yeah, I was like, were
- 21:13Speaker 3: we using one of those in like twenty thirteen? Oh?
- 21:16Speaker 3: We were?
- 21:17Speaker 2: And you know how I know that I found I
- 21:19Speaker 2: was scrolling through our Instagram and I found a video
- 21:21Speaker 2: of us recording on a selfie stick. I mean we're
- 21:23Speaker 2: talking about like how awkward it was to be recorded,
- 21:25Speaker 2: and this was a ten year old Instagram video of us,
- 21:28Speaker 2: Like how.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Did the bloggers do it with their self stick? So, yes,
- 21:31Speaker 3: we were. Well I was just wondering because you just
- 21:34Speaker 3: shared a video of us when we were recording YouTube
- 21:37Speaker 3: videos and we had make made mention, Uh huh was
- 21:40Speaker 3: that recorded on a selfie stick?
- 21:42Speaker 2: It may have been that maybe why it's recorded from
- 21:45Speaker 2: nineteen feet above our heads.
- 21:49Speaker 3: I'm what is happening here? I don't know anyway?
- 21:55Speaker 2: What did you?
- 21:55Speaker 3: What do you have?
- 21:56Speaker 2: The selfie stick was top of my list. I have
- 21:58Speaker 2: one true did you see that? And that is when
- 22:00Speaker 2: her father calls while she's shopping and her credit cards
- 22:03Speaker 2: have declined. It says like incoming call Daddy. After she
- 22:06Speaker 2: answers it and she's holding it up to her head,
- 22:08Speaker 2: the screen still reads incoming call Daddy and has like
- 22:11Speaker 2: the answer or decline buttons on the screen.
- 22:14Speaker 3: I love it.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Then, just two observations. One, there's only one bathroom in
- 22:18Speaker 2: this house. Did they discuss it or it was just
- 22:21Speaker 2: this running plotline that she could never get in the
- 22:22Speaker 2: bathroom because we need a second bathroom in this house. Finally,
- 22:27Speaker 2: just a note that Jen's look at the dance is
- 22:31Speaker 2: very Sandy. In the final scene of Grease, her curly hair,
- 22:34Speaker 2: her black body con dress, it was.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Giving Sandy's makeover. Yeah, she's so cute. She's so cute.
- 22:41Speaker 3: She's so cute. There was the scene where, you know,
- 22:44Speaker 3: because she gets all muddy and then she gets like
- 22:46Speaker 3: some she borrows some clothes and she's wearing these really
- 22:50Speaker 3: cute oversized baggy jeans, which feels very twenty twenty five
- 22:56Speaker 3: because in twenty thirteen they are gonna be like tight
- 22:58Speaker 3: skinny jeans. Right. I was like, that is such a look.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I love it so much today she's adorable.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yes, I loved those jeans because they were they were
- 23:09Speaker 2: Aunt Rosie's jeans that were supposed to be like oversized,
- 23:11Speaker 2: so cute. Of course they fit are perfectly in the waist,
- 23:13Speaker 2: but yes, adorable. What did you rate Harvest Moon?
- 23:19Speaker 3: I gave it two and a half stars.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Ouch poor Jesse Freakin' Shram three and a half stars
