- 0:003 lifelong friends, 6 trusty balls and endless NFL ticks.
- 0:05Welcome to three guys 6 Balls NFL podcast.
- 0:08Welcome to episode 54 of three guys 6 balls NFL podcast.
- 0:11I'm your host Joel, and I'm here with my Co host Will Avery is
- 0:15getting home late from work, so he'll be joining us shortly.
- 0:17So for now it's just Will and I. But free agency has officially
- 0:21been open for one week. And so today we're going to talk
- 0:23about who we think we're the winners and losers of free
- 0:25agency. And then after that, we'll be
- 0:27doing some more scouting reports for you guys and adding more
- 0:30players to our top 50 big board. Before we get started, Will, is
- 0:33there anything that you want to talk about before we get going
- 0:36here? Was there something I was
- 0:41supposed to? No, I just wanted to see if you
- 0:45had anything to bring up before we before we just jump in so.
- 0:49I mean, I've got, I've got topic specific things, but nothing
- 0:54something besides that. OK, well then we'll just go
- 0:57ahead and just jump right into the winners and losers of free
- 0:59agency. So, well, why don't you get us
- 1:01started? You can pick if you want to
- 1:03start with the winners or. Losers.
- 1:05I'd like to start with a single loser here.
- 1:08And this is a team loser. And this is a very, very
- 1:11opinionated thing. And I'm going to, I'm going to,
- 1:13I'm going to make a lot of people mad right now because I
- 1:15think there's a lot of people view this as good.
- 1:17I am not one of them, and my my first loser is the Baltimore
- 1:22Ravens. Absolutely.
- 1:23Purely, purely for bad business. I don't even know how what else
- 1:27to call it. And and the their Baltimore
- 1:30homers are going to be like, well, he didn't pass the
- 1:32physical. Sure, your doctors said he
- 1:37didn't pass the physical after background deals were going on
- 1:41between you guys and Trey Hendrickson to have a different
- 1:46deal where you didn't give up to first round picks, you didn't
- 1:49pay him more money you got and I would say exactly equivalent
- 1:56Trey Henderson is not as good anymore as Max Crosby is
- 2:00potential. So that like the potential for
- 2:02this upcoming season, I think is lower a little bit, but you are
- 2:07what you're saving in value is worth that little bit of
- 2:11potential. And so I think it's incredibly
- 2:14bad business to do what they did.
- 2:17They traded for him. They brought him in pending
- 2:20physical. I don't know if you've noticed,
- 2:23but all of these trades now since that time have all had
- 2:27that little pending physical tag on him.
- 2:28They probably did before. That just stands out to me so
- 2:31much more now that they traded for him.
- 2:34The the the Raiders got this huge contract off the books,
- 2:38allegedly. They went and signed $280
- 2:41million worth of people, and then all of a sudden Baltimore
- 2:44went, actually, we're going to sign this other dude instead.
- 2:48You can have your guy back. He didn't pass our physical, and
- 2:51now the wages are just stuck with it.
- 2:53And I, the conspiracy theorist to me wants to say, well, yeah,
- 2:56it's because the Raiders stole Tyler Lindenbaum.
- 2:59They fine take take Max Crosby back then.
- 3:02We don't want your we don't want him.
- 3:04If you're going to steal our players, we're not little dates
- 3:06of our guy. We're not going to take your
- 3:07guy. I just did not like to move at
- 3:10all. I thought it was bad business.
- 3:12It's not like they didn't know he was recovering from a torn
- 3:14MCL. That wasn't private news that I
- 3:17mean, that clearly happened. He actually got mad at his own
- 3:20team for not letting him play the last two games of the season
- 3:23last year. And when they benched him that
- 3:26day, I actually said on this show that day, he posted
- 3:29pictures of her videos of him on his Instagram of him playing
- 3:32basketball and jumping on trampoline and doing all sorts
- 3:35of things showing, hey, guys, I'm not actually that injured.
- 3:38And unlike Jerrod McCoy, he can come back from a knee surgery
- 3:44within one offseason. I just think it's crazy.
- 3:48I keep bringing it back. I can't.
- 3:49I can't go to die. Did you see the press
- 3:52conference? From from which one match
- 3:55Ravens. No, the Ravens.
- 3:58I read about it. I didn't.
- 4:00I didn't see it. It just looked like that they
- 4:03were just making stuff up. Oh, absolutely.
- 4:05Like they didn't actually know what to say.
- 4:07They were just making stuff up, just making up reasons why that
- 4:11didn't happen. So it just, it's just a bad
- 4:14look. I would like to turn this into a
- 4:17positive though and say a winner of that move was the NFL fans
- 4:22because there was overwhelming negative spin on the Ravens
- 4:27specifically for doing this. Like, like people were up in
- 4:31arms about how bad of business this was by the Ravens and I saw
- 4:35more negative negativity towards the Ravens for doing this than
- 4:40anything else on the move. And so I, I really appreciated
- 4:43that the whole of the NFL fan that kind of got together
- 4:46against the Ravens for doing this kind of bad.
- 4:49Like it just set such a bad precedent.
- 4:51I don't want to just keep repeating myself saying bad
- 4:52business over and over and over again, But that's just all I can
- 4:55track it up to is is you made a deal.
- 4:58You agreed to that knowing the risk.
- 5:01You didn't have your own personal doctor say, oh, the
- 5:03risk is too high. Also, we can sign this other guy
- 5:06for cheaper. Let's do that instead.
- 5:08I it's good in house business sure, but league wide business
- 5:14it just sets a really bad precedent.
- 5:15Yeah, nobody's going to want to trade with the Ravens for a long
- 5:19time because of that. So I agree with you 100%.
- 5:22It's just a bad look. Yeah, I'm going to stay with the
- 5:25losers for free agency. And for me, one of the biggest
- 5:28losers of free agency is George Pickens.
- 5:30If I were George Pickens I would not play until I received a long
- 5:34term contract extension. If I were him I'd be like I'm on
- 5:37a one year $27.3 million deal after I just balled out with 93
- 5:41catches over 1400 yards and 9 touchdowns.
- 5:44While this dude Alec Pierce is over here for the Colts getting
- 5:47$29 million a year after he just barely scraped by 1000 yards for
- 5:51the first time in his career. Pickens and Pierce were drafted
- 5:55in the same year with back-to-back picks, and Pickens
- 5:58has been way more productive in those four years than Pierce
- 6:00has. Pickens has 110 more catches
- 6:03over 1300 more yards, four more touchdowns over those four
- 6:06years, and he's getting paid less money.
- 6:09I'm sure George Pickens will eventually get paid more than
- 6:11Pierce, but for now he's one of the biggest losers of free
- 6:14agency in my opinion. It's weird to say that a guy who
- 6:18didn't get a move done, like he didn't get traded, he didn't
- 6:21resign somewhere like he wasn't he's not even up for a contract
- 6:24right now technically. So it's weird to say that he's a
- 6:27loser. But I fully agree with you.
- 6:28Like he needs to be seeking. Hey, where is where?
- 6:31It's my turn, guys. But we all knew that the 49ers
- 6:34were going to be here with your time is kind of running out.
- 6:37You're going to have to start paying your really good guys.
- 6:42You said George Pickens. I was thinking George Kill,
- 6:45that's on me. You're right.
- 6:47George Pickens, you're right though.
- 6:48Same thing. Stick sticks though.
- 6:50You're right. George Pickens, Cowboys good
- 6:53going. I was stuck on the white guys.
- 6:55This one's my bad. We talked about 3 white guys.
- 6:57I was just stuck on it. This one's on me.
- 7:01Anyway, George Pickens, you're right.
- 7:03He he stepped up for the Cowboys this year with everything going
- 7:07on with CD and all the other team that he was the guy when
- 7:11they need him to. And when CD came back, they
- 7:13still stuck with him. And and you're again, you're
- 7:16right. He was, he deserves more.
- 7:19And, and the problem is, and again goes back to the same
- 7:22thing I was saying incorrectly, Dallas just isn't going to pay
- 7:26it. Dallas doesn't pay out their own
- 7:28free agents at all. And, and and he didn't need the
- 7:31same treatment that Amari Cooper got where they Dallas trade a A1
- 7:35for Amari. Cooper had him for half a season
- 7:38and Amari left And it's like, OK, well, you're going to do the
- 7:41same thing just for what? I swear it's not an earthquake
- 7:47for those listening. My I bumped my table.
- 7:49My whole screen just shook. Anyway, he's going to be here
- 7:53for the year. They're going to use them to his
- 7:56fullest potential and then they won't sign him to a big enough
- 7:59deal and he'll get a big deal somewhere else.
- 8:01That's just the way Dallas does business right now.
- 8:03And it's it's consistent. They just don't pay big money
- 8:07for for big players unless they're home grown players.
- 8:12They will do that for their goals.
- 8:14So what Jerry is trying to do is he's trying to get somebody to
- 8:17give him more draft picks so that he doesn't have to pay
- 8:20George Pickens, right? That's what he's trying to do.
- 8:23Because if if George Pickens plays on the franchise tag this
- 8:27year, he can actually get franchise tag again next year.
- 8:30Oh, really? Jerry Jones?
- 8:32I believe that's the rule. I believe you can't.
- 8:34I believe you can do it more than once.
- 8:36So Jerry Jones can actually hold on to George Pickens.
- 8:39I don't know if George Pickens is going to play or not.
- 8:41If I were him, I wouldn't, but I don't know if he's going to
- 8:43play. But he can be franchise tagged
- 8:45more than once in a row. And so I need to look that up.
- 8:48Actually, I believe you can, but let me look it up real quick.
- 8:52I know with Madden you can't, but that's not the end all be
- 8:55all be all of everything. OK, so it says yes, an NFL
- 8:59player can be franchise tagged twice or even 3 times.
- 9:02A second consecutive tag requires the team to pay the
- 9:05player 120% raise over the previous year's salary though,
- 9:09so and then a third tag results in 144% increase.
- 9:13That is according to the AI overview because I didn't want
- 9:16to dig into it too much. So it could be, yeah, it must be
- 9:19100. Percent true.
- 9:19It's our AI overlarge. It's for sure true.
- 9:22Must be 100. Percent true, if that's what
- 9:24it's telling me. So.
- 9:24Or 144%, yeah, but but he can be tagged more than one time.
- 9:29So Jerry could just tag him. And again, I don't know if he's
- 9:33going to play, but he could just tag him and then just hope that
- 9:36eventually somebody gives him a first round pick or a second
- 9:39round pick or whatever pick it is because Jerry doesn't want to
- 9:42pay him long term. So he's just hoping that
- 9:44somebody will give him draft picks.
- 9:46I think that's what Jerry is doing.
- 9:47And, and the problem is, is that again, thinking of, of Jerry,
- 9:53that benefits Jerry a lot. Well, I'm paying, I'm franchise
- 9:56tagging, but now I'm paying him 125.
- 9:59You said 125%. So it's, it's 25% more than you
- 10:02got this year, right? And 144.
- 10:05Percent. So it's so 20% extra over this
- 10:07year if he were to get franchise tagged.
- 10:10He did get franchise tagged this year, correct?
- 10:12This year. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:13So it would be 2020% more next year.
- 10:16And then if they do it again, it's like, well, I'm, I'm paying
- 10:18him more money. It's just on one year short term
- 10:20deals. If he doesn't play, then that's
- 10:22going to be the narrative. It's like he got more money on
- 10:25the tag and he's choosing not to play.
- 10:28And so it'll just turn the entire fan base against him,
- 10:31unfortunately, because as much as as as Dallas likes to say,
- 10:37oh, well, Jerry's standing in the way.
- 10:39Jerry's the problem when he makes moves by the end of the
- 10:43year, everyone's like, we'll see my composes got hurt.
- 10:46What what we're going to do with you now?
- 10:48We've got their pack. We got to pick 20.
- 10:49We got to pick 12 and pick 22 picks in the top three.
- 10:52That's wonderful. Wow, what a mastermind.
- 10:55And so you just turn the, the, the whole fan base.
- 11:00Remember the whole fan base. That's, that's an absolute, but,
- 11:04but a majority of the fan base just turns opinion as the season
- 11:08goes on to be on his side. And that's all that's all that
- 11:11matters to these owners is that, hey, as long as you're on my
- 11:13side, you're going to keep watching games, you're going to
- 11:16keep buying tickets, you're going to keep eating that
- 11:17popcorn. Money, money, money.
- 11:19Exactly, Will do you want to read that text that Avery just
- 11:22sent us? Oh I would love to this.
- 11:24This is a live reading. I have not seen it yet.
- 11:27He was texting while I was talking.
- 11:30He says, yeah. He says, yeah, I won't make it,
- 11:36so Hebrew's not here, obviously. He says, yeah, I won't make it.
- 11:39And Joe replies at all. And Avery replies with
- 11:43preemptively apologizing to Dwayne.
- 11:45It says, and I quote, I'm a bitch.
- 11:48So there's that. Sorry Dwayne, that your oldest
- 11:52son is saying about himself, but when he if he does get here, we
- 11:57will reaffirm him and self love and self-care.
- 12:00That's very important. He said he might hop on in like
- 12:0420-30 minutes or so. So we might get him for some of
- 12:07this episode, but we'll see. We're back around.
- 12:10We're back around to you. So give us another.
- 12:13Let's just stick with the losers.
- 12:14Let's just. Stick with the losers, man.
- 12:18I was ready with a winner. So give me one second.
- 12:22Give us a winner. Then give us a winner.
- 12:24Well, I I either way. What do you want?
- 12:26Tell me what you want, Daddy. All right, we'll stick with the
- 12:28losers. I'm going to go with one loser
- 12:31and a dragon. Fortunate, and this is the price
- 12:33you pay when you win big, is the Seattle Seahawks.
- 12:36I, I think they lost a lot of key players that got them where
- 12:41they needed to go and some that you can fix it, right?
- 12:44Like, like I live in the Northwest.
- 12:47There's a lot of Seahawks fans at my work.
- 12:49When Kenneth Walker signed with Kansas City, everyone said,
- 12:52yeah, he was good, but he only had like 1000 yards this season.
- 12:56He was only good at the end of the season that there was so
- 13:00much justification that went on for yes, he was good, but he was
- 13:05OK, really super MVP. But really during the season
- 13:08he's only OK. And overall I agree with that,
- 13:11but it's the immediate again, we're we're back on this
- 13:14immediate turning of opinion. While he's not my guy anymore,
- 13:18he can go kick rocks for all I care.
- 13:21But they're also leaving out the part where he was sharing time
- 13:23for most of the season, so. Right.
- 13:25And Seattle has had a continuous history of running back injury
- 13:29where they've had to have a stable of running backs ever
- 13:32since Marshawn left. It has just been injury after
- 13:34injury. I mean, you can just run through
- 13:36the players. I can't because I'm not a
- 13:38Seattle fan. But they they could just run
- 13:40through the players that they've had just consistently just and
- 13:44it has not been exclusive or it has not been without Charbonnay
- 13:48and Walker having their own injury problems.
- 13:51So them re signing it was it was on the Rockstar.
- 13:54But then re signing Rashid Shahid was their biggest outward
- 13:57move, at least that I saw. They lost a lot of people.
- 14:01And that's just the price you pay when you win the Super Bowl
- 14:03is that you've got mediocre, well, you've got good guys on
- 14:05mediocre contracts that other people want to pay big money to.
- 14:09And so they lost a lot of pieces and they lost the Super Bowl
- 14:12MVP. And so whether justified or not,
- 14:15we'll see. But yeah, unfortunately.
- 14:17I'll say this. Go ahead, finish.
- 14:18Unfortunately, I think they did kind of lose out this this free
- 14:22agency period. I will say this about the
- 14:23Seahawks though. I going into the next season, I
- 14:26have more confidence that the Seahawks could repeat as Super
- 14:29Bowl champions than I did that the Eagles could repeat as Super
- 14:33Bowl champions. Because I think the Eagles lost
- 14:35way more pieces than the Seahawks did.
- 14:37And I still think the Seahawks have better like an overall
- 14:40structure than the Eagles had going into this next season.
- 14:45I could be wrong about that. It's probably just because I
- 14:48can't withstand the Eagles. I don't like Seahawks either,
- 14:50but I can't stand the Eagles. But I think the Seahawks would
- 14:52have a better chance of repeating than the Eagles had of
- 14:55repeating. My only my only issue with that
- 14:57statement is that the other two good teams in the NFC West got
- 15:02better this free agency period. Like I, I would say, I would say
- 15:07the Rams legitimately got significantly better that that
- 15:11is yeah, I put my Ram's hat on because I was going to make that
- 15:13take anyway. But the Rams got significantly
- 15:15better. They immediately addressed their
- 15:18needs and did it in full force. And then I think the the Niners
- 15:23are addressing needs. And as they get healthy, then
- 15:25they receiver was a problem. They didn't have IU all year.
- 15:28And who knows what's going on with that guy right now.
- 15:30It's a receiver has been a big need.
- 15:31And what they did was they went out and they got a big body, big
- 15:35play receiver. And so sorry, but so I, I, I
- 15:42think the rest of the NFC West is getting better while the
- 15:45Seahawks are at minimum staying stagnant.
- 15:48And if everyone else is moving forward while you're not moving,
- 15:51then you're moving backwards by default or by default.
- 15:55Sounds the right word, right? Whatever, We're moving on
- 15:59anyway, Joe, give us your next loser.
- 16:02See that transition there? Well, actually, so I'm going to
- 16:05actually go to a winner because we were.
- 16:07Talking about, sure you get to. So I want to stay on the topic
- 16:14of the Rams for a minute. So yeah, please.
- 16:15I feel like, I feel like the Rams are like Thanos right now
- 16:19trying to collect all the Infinity Stones.
- 16:20Absolutely. And the 13th pick in the NFL
- 16:22draft is the last stone. They've got Matthew Stafford,
- 16:25Pukunukua, Devante Adams, Trent Mcduffie, and a stacked
- 16:28defensive line. And the moment that they make
- 16:30that pick at 13 is like the moment that Thanos rips that
- 16:34division's head and puts it in the Infinity Gauntlet.
- 16:37The Rams are absolutely loaded right now.
- 16:39And so I think they're they are one of the biggest winners of
- 16:41free agency and they are probably the Super Bowl
- 16:44favorites right now. But just remember, we did end up
- 16:47getting his head cut off by Thor.
- 16:49So I don't know what that means for the Rams, but you know what
- 16:52that really like. That was after the snap.
- 16:55OK? He snapped his fingers.
- 16:57Santos did what he wanted to do. But that could mean after the
- 17:00regular season and then the plot, I don't know.
- 17:04Santos accomplished his goal. He created balance.
- 17:08He got rid of half of all the people, created the balance, he
- 17:13achieved his goal. He was defeated, sure.
- 17:16And in the end, Matthew Stafford will retire.
- 17:20Maybe. I've actually seen multiple
- 17:21things where it's the Rams are building to win right now with
- 17:25this most likely Stafford's last year.
- 17:27And so they are building to give him one heck of a send off,
- 17:32right? Byron Murphy?
- 17:34Nope, try again. Byron Young came out and said in
- 17:38a. You're just getting all the
- 17:40wrong people. Yeah, I'm.
- 17:41I'm heavens, there's a reason I couldn't.
- 17:46Anyway, Byron Young came out and said they had a defensive line
- 17:49meeting and the the meeting was essentially this is Stafford
- 17:53last year, we have to play better as a defensive line unit.
- 17:57And so like they're already, I mean, we are barely in.
- 18:00Yeah, we're into the league season now.
- 18:02We're barely into the league season and they're already
- 18:04talking about, hey, we weren't good enough last year.
- 18:07The defensive line is probably the best part of the Rams
- 18:10defense and they're like, we're not good enough.
- 18:12We need to get better. OK, we're bringing all these
- 18:14pieces behind us. We don't even we shouldn't even
- 18:16need them. Let's just get to the
- 18:17quarterback faster. Let's just be better on the
- 18:19defensive line. And so they're they're they're
- 18:23just stockpiling right now to to give it their own win, just like
- 18:28the Buccaneers did with with Brady his last year.
- 18:31Yeah, just like. And they're so Broncos did,
- 18:34yeah, just like the Broncos did with Peyton Manning in his last
- 18:38year. You're making all these moves
- 18:39because you've got this, this maybe first ballot Hall of
- 18:43Famer, who knows anymore and a quarterback who who has a shot
- 18:49to just win one more on his way out the door.
- 18:53And, and so they're trying to give it to him.
- 18:54And I and, and so my winner is going to be Chris Shua, Rams
- 18:58defensive coordinator, who who saw the need, was not unaware of
- 19:03it. That's that's my worst fear.
- 19:05And my, my least favorite part about some of these NFL coaches
- 19:09is that they have obvious needs and obvious holes in their game,
- 19:15whether it be offensive line or secondary or whatever it may be,
- 19:19whatever unit it is. And they just ignore the fact
- 19:24that everyone's talking about it.
- 19:27And it's, it's very common as NFL fandoms to be to pinpoint
- 19:31certain things. Oh, our offensive line is bad,
- 19:34our running backs are bad. We need this, we need that.
- 19:36But I feel like maybe it's this whole offseason really.
- 19:39I feel like maybe more so than other years, teams are targeting
- 19:43specific pieces to make their coaching Staffs have better
- 19:47players. And I, I, yes, that happens
- 19:49every offseason. I know that's what free agency
- 19:51is. We need better players to help
- 19:53our coaches that I feel like it's been even more so we're not
- 19:56just trying to get the best people, we're trying to get the
- 19:58right fit. How many, how many free agents
- 20:00did the Raiders even sign this year?
- 20:02They got so 280 something, $1,000,000 just in the Raiders
- 20:05team. Tom Brady, you got his hand in
- 20:07there and said we need to be better right now.
- 20:09We've got we've got Ashton Genti, we've got Fernando
- 20:12Mendoza coming in, most likely. In April, we have to get an
- 20:17offensive line, we have to get receivers, we have to get people
- 20:20in the door. And so I think Chris Shula at
- 20:23the end of the season, everyone was talking about how bad the
- 20:25Rams secondary was. He's like, whoa, fine, stop
- 20:28talking about it. Let's get this guy, this guy,
- 20:30this guy resigned Cam Curl, we get Trent Mcduffy, get General
- 20:34Watson, bring these guys in here and let's let's do it.
- 20:38Stop talking about my. Drafts Mack Lemon.
- 20:41At this point, at this point, yes, honestly, let's Devonte
- 20:45Adams he's he's coming to his he's got two more years left in
- 20:50his contract. Excuse me, he's not in his last
- 20:52year. He's got two more years left in
- 20:53his contract. But who better to learn under
- 20:56than the guy who had what 12-1 yard touchdowns last year in the
- 21:01red zone? Demon just just tore it up in
- 21:03the red zone last year. Why would you not want to learn
- 21:06from that guy? And so I think they're doing all
- 21:09the right things. I am.
- 21:10I'm still incredibly torn on what I want the Rams, what I
- 21:14would like the Rams to do at pick 13.
- 21:16I have no idea. I'm just going to sit I've.
- 21:19Heard a lot of Spencer Fano Tuck.
- 21:21Yeah, I don't like. That like, like seriously, I'm
- 21:23not joking. Yes, I know, I know, I know.
- 21:25I've seen it a lot and I don't like it.
- 21:27And it's too bad that Monroe Freeling has just skyrocketed up
- 21:30the boards, because that's pushing.
- 21:32Oh, I think you'll be there at 13.
- 21:34I really do. The only the only team I see
- 21:36that could take him is the Browns.
- 21:38Honestly, if the Browns don't take him, I think he'll be there
- 21:40at 13. But still, with him sky rocking
- 21:44up the boards, it's pushing Phano down to the Rams and I
- 21:48just it'll be fine. It's just not what it's just and
- 21:52it's not even because it's an offensive lineman.
- 21:54It's not a sexy pick. I just don't think he's that
- 21:56good. So, but hey, what do I go?
- 21:59I look like this, What do I go? All right, well, let's stick
- 22:04with the winners since we're on the topic of winners right now.
- 22:07And you mentioned the Raiders. I think the Raiders won free
- 22:09agency. The Raiders needed to build
- 22:11their offensive line to make life easier for Fernando
- 22:14Mendoza, and they did exactly that by signing center Tyler
- 22:17Linderbaum to a three-year, $81 million contract.
- 22:20All of a sudden, the Raiders offensive line actually looks
- 22:22pretty good. And then there's the other moves
- 22:24they made. They signed linebackers Nicobe
- 22:26Dean and Kobe Walker. They signed edge rusher Kwitty
- 22:28Pay. They signed receiver Jaylen
- 22:30Naylor. And best of all, they signed
- 22:32kicker Matt Gay. But going into free agency, the
- 22:36Raiders knew they had to get better on the offensive line and
- 22:39they 100% did that in free agency.
- 22:41So I think they are a big winners of free agency this year
- 22:45and they get to keep Max Crosby. I think that's a win.
- 22:48All right, maybe they are currently on track to keep Max
- 22:51Crosby. All right, it's going to.
- 22:52It's hard to go back. Sounds like he's going to stay.
- 22:54Yeah, it but it's hard to go back into that building that A
- 22:57didn't want you to play at the end of last season, B traded you
- 23:01away for the new hot young thing.
- 23:03Here's two first round picks. All right, good.
- 23:05Here's this guy, go take him whatever.
- 23:07And so it's hard to to walk back in that facility.
- 23:10But the day that he got, I don't want to say that rejected is the
- 23:15best word, I guess. Rejected from the the Ravens the
- 23:18very next day, Wednesday morning, 6:00 AM, he reported
- 23:21into the Raiders facility. Like that is a professional
- 23:25move. This is my job.
- 23:27That it didn't go this way. It's going this way and I'm
- 23:30going to be a professional about it.
- 23:32And that that speaks a lot to him.
- 23:34I mean, I we talked about it a lot.
- 23:36He is like the Raider himself. Matt Flower, Joe Sheepers.
- 23:41Joe Flacco was the Raven like looked like a Raven.
- 23:45Max Crosby looks like the like a Raider.
- 23:49And so he just has that fit. And so I, I like him in in Las
- 23:54Vegas. I think he would be wonderful if
- 23:56he I would be wonderful if he stayed.
- 23:58I, I it would it that him staying raises the entire AFC
- 24:03West by a lot. I think with him leaving, the
- 24:06Raiders are right back in the same spot.
- 24:08We're going to be fourth in the West and, and who knows?
- 24:11But, and this is not an actual joke with him staying, they
- 24:14could get third or seconds and and have a real shot of not
- 24:18being pick number one or pick a top five pick again for like the
- 24:2220th year in a row. It's not actually 20.
- 24:24I know. Although having the top pick
- 24:27next year is not the worst thing in the.
- 24:29World no. It's everybody's trying to
- 24:31stockpile 2027 draft picks right now.
- 24:34I just think it's. Trying to get Jeremiah Smith.
- 24:37Yeah, although again, I've said this before, he's he's going to
- 24:40be the best prospect. He will not be the number one
- 24:43pick. Probably not, but or yeah,
- 24:45they're trying to get Arch Manning.
- 24:46That's what they're trying to get.
- 24:48That's a player playing next season.
- 24:53Anyways, let's go back to the losers.
- 24:55And I want to tell you who my loser is, Will.
- 24:57And then this has to do with the trade that happened.
- 25:00So I want to know what you think of this after I go.
- 25:04Through it so. OK, so for me, one of the losers
- 25:08I have a free agency is the Denver Broncos.
- 25:10The Broncos were the only team in the NFL to not sign one
- 25:13single outside free agent during the first week of free agency.
- 25:16They signed a bunch of their own free agents, but not one single
- 25:19outside free agent. And then this week they give up
- 25:21a first and a third round pick for Jalen Waddle.
- 25:24I like Jalen Waddle, but giving up a first and a third round
- 25:27pick to me is too much. And you want to know why it's
- 25:30too much? Because we just saw George
- 25:31Pickens get traded for a third round pick last year.
- 25:34And I understand that we just saw DJ Morgan get traded for a
- 25:36second round pick, but that was also too much.
- 25:39We also just saw Michael Pitman Junior get traded for a sixth
- 25:42round pick and the Steelers got a 7th in return.
- 25:45And there's no way that the Broncos had to give up a first
- 25:48and a third round pick to get Waddle.
- 25:50The Broncos could have made a push to get Mike Evans in free
- 25:52agency. He went to the 49ers because
- 25:54because he said they were one piece away from the Super Bowl.
- 25:57Well, the Broncos were literally one piece of bone Nix's ankle
- 25:59away from the Super Bowl. So not only did the Broncos give
- 26:02up picks for Waddle, but they're paying him more than other guys
- 26:06they could have had. It just feels like there were
- 26:08other teams at the Broncos had to like outbid, but I just don't
- 26:11think that's true. There's no other team that would
- 26:14have offered anything close to what the Broncos gave up.
- 26:17And so, to me, the Broncos lost. I agree with that actually.
- 26:21And that was like first thing this morning I said that that
- 26:24that snapped or snippet to you guys with that.
- 26:27I mean, it's trading on 1st or excuse me, Bronco is trading.
- 26:33Oh golly, Miami receives. So they they got Denver's first
- 26:39and they're trading away. Oh, and their third and fourth
- 26:42round picks this year and dolphins are sending a fourth
- 26:44and one. And so like you said, it's the
- 26:46first and 3rd. I need a more picks so that make
- 26:49it make sense in my brain. You're right though, and we just
- 26:53don't see unless you're like the elite of elites in the NFL right
- 26:59now, you just don't see people going for that high that they're
- 27:03that much value. And you, you listed off so many
- 27:07examples of that just not happening.
- 27:09I, I don't even know what else to say.
- 27:11I it's just one of these things where the, the Dolphins also
- 27:16loses a free agency. They're paying.
- 27:18It's like 200 and 50 million. Hold on, I can get it pulled up
- 27:24here. They are paying are.
- 27:27You talking about what they're paying waddle?
- 27:29No, no, no, no. What they're paying in players
- 27:31to not play on their team this year.
- 27:33Oh, the dolphin. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:34They're paying like 175,000,000. Yeah, 175,000,000.
- 27:37So they're paying 256,000,000. They're paying Bradley Trev 31
- 27:40million, Tyree Hill 28 million, Jane Ramsey 20 million, Maker
- 27:44Fitzpatrick 12.9 million. And that's just their top five.
- 27:48There's like 17 more people they're paying to and not be on
- 27:52the team, including Zach Wilson, mind you, he made the list.
- 27:56They're they're paying so much money for people to not be on
- 27:59their team that they had to just get rid of his contract.
- 28:02That's all there was, was let's see what we can do to get rid of
- 28:05his contract. And we saw Dallas do this with
- 28:09defensive tackle Quay Walker. Am I saying what I will do?
- 28:14Dallas traded. Dallas, Dallas Dallas traded the
- 28:18me and who they traded to the 49ers.
- 28:20No, no, Dallas traded to Green Bay late round pick for
- 28:24defensive tackle and not talking about yeah, it was in the IT was
- 28:28this offseason. I know they traded away one
- 28:32year. Excuse me?
- 28:33Yep, it wasn't. Tackle.
- 28:36That's why that's what you said in the wrong.
- 28:38Position. Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep.
- 28:39OK, let's start this over. We've seen it recently with,
- 28:41with these veteran cap cuts that Dallas got edge rusher Rashawn
- 28:47Gary from the Packers for a fourth round pick because the
- 28:51Packers couldn't pay him. And so it was a cap cut.
- 28:54And, and so if if that's what the Dolphins are doing, which it
- 28:57seems like it with all of the money they're having to pay out
- 29:00to everyone to not be on their team anymore, the Packers clear
- 29:03$11 million in salary cap for a fourth round pick.
- 29:07And so the Dolphins, they just fleeced the Broncos.
- 29:12There's no other way to put that.
- 29:14Hey, we got to get rid of Waddle.
- 29:16Let's just. We want our first.
- 29:18Sure, we'll give you a first, but you have to give us 4th.
- 29:22Fine. You have to give us a fourth and
- 29:23a third. Yeah.
- 29:25OK. That seems fair.
- 29:26Like, what do we do It What? What?
- 29:28So it's just, it happens a lot with these these veteran trades
- 29:34where teams have to just cut money.
- 29:36And so you're getting out any value you can.
- 29:39And the the Dolphins won that trade.
- 29:43I think they lost the rest of free agency cutting to cutting
- 29:47all these guys. And they're just, they're paying
- 29:49so much money out. Yeah.
- 29:52And just to go back to the example with Mike Evans real
- 29:54quick. So I know Mike Evans is a
- 29:57different type of receiver than Jalen Waddle, but the reason I
- 30:00brought Mike Evans up is because Mike Evans, one of the things he
- 30:03wanted was the chance to win another Super Bowl.
- 30:05Well, the Broncos, like I said, we're literally one piece of
- 30:08Bonex's ankle away from going to the Super Bowl.
- 30:12And so if the Broncos really wanted to get Mike Evans, they
- 30:15could have got Mike. I feel like they could have got
- 30:17Mike Evans because they have the defense to get it done.
- 30:20And they were so close to going to the Super Bowl.
- 30:23Mike Evans is making 14, $1,000,000 less than Jalen
- 30:28Waddle, and if they would have just pushed hard to get Mike
- 30:30Evans, they wouldn't have had to give up any draft picks.
- 30:33That's why I don't like this trade is because there were
- 30:36other guys they could have gone after where they could have
- 30:39given up way less or not giving up anything at all if you just
- 30:42pay him. But now they're paying more, $14
- 30:46million more for another receiver where they also had to
- 30:50give up a first and a third round draft pick.
- 30:52It just doesn't make any sense to me.
- 30:54I'm listening, I swear to you, Avery just asked for the link to
- 30:57our show. Hey, send me the link.
- 30:59I have to get into our show. My laptop's not working.
- 31:06Oh geez. I thought I had it here.
- 31:08I don't have it saved because I don't need it saved because I'm
- 31:11in the show. It's on the discord.
- 31:19Oh, it's a Discord message. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:21Yeah, I'll try and pull it up real quick.
- 31:24I got it right here. That's 10.
- 31:26That's all right. This is great podcasting.
- 31:31This is great podcasting. All right, at least we're going
- 31:37to get our third set of balls back, so it'll feel right again
- 31:41it. Will feel right again.
- 31:42All right, well, before Avery hops on, why don't you give us
- 31:45one more free agency, loser, and then we'll we'll get one from
- 31:49Avery real quick. Can I give a winner instead?
- 31:51Sure, because I've got a winner that you're going to like.
- 31:53Actually, my winner here is the 2026 New York Ravens.
- 32:00I mean, Giants, Jim Harbaugh went to the right to the Giants
- 32:04and just took, just took Baltimore with him.
- 32:07It seems like everyone except Lamar.
- 32:09No, no, no, I everyone obviously.
- 32:11But the the Giants made so many positive moves and and if they
- 32:17can stay healthy next year with Malik neighbors and Cam Scatibu
- 32:20staying healthy, they're currently I've seen multiple
- 32:23mock shoot them drafting Jeremiah love to pair him in the
- 32:26backfield with Cam Scatibu and a real speed and bruiser tandem.
- 32:32That would be that would be crazy.
- 32:34It'd be like Jonathan Stewart. No, it'd be like Christian
- 32:36McCaffrey. Excuse me, too far back in the
- 32:39Panthers, Christian McCaffrey and Mike Tolbert, where you've
- 32:42got the speed and the power. It's like, all right, we get to
- 32:44the one yard line, give it to Tolbert.
- 32:46That's what that would be like, so I think.
- 32:48That we on his phone right now I'm.
- 32:50On my phone. Oh my gosh, dude.
- 32:56Can you? Can you turn the landscape?
- 32:59Yes. But you actually have to do it.
- 33:02Now you're just sideways. Just look at me some turn.
- 33:09Did that work? Is that working?
- 33:11No. No, it worked.
- 33:13No, it's good. It's good.
- 33:14It's good. Is it or are you just saying
- 33:16that? No, it's good just.
- 33:19Snag me just leave it just leave it just leave it like that it's.
- 33:24My boys. Oh geez.
- 33:30Dude, I don't even want to get into it.
- 33:32You would take the rest of this episode been on the road.
- 33:37Favorite and least favorite free agency moves?
- 33:40Oh, I thought Max Crosby to the Ravens was pretty sweet.
- 33:46And then I thought him going back to the Raiders was even
- 33:50sweeter. I liked.
- 33:52I know you guys talked about Jalen Waddle.
- 33:54I don't know what your guys's verdict on that was, but I
- 33:58actually like that. I think he will find a good life
- 34:02in Denver and I think that both teams got what they needed.
- 34:06I know Denver hasn't done much at all in free agency, but I
- 34:11don't think they really needed to as much.
- 34:15Not to say I think they still should have, but I think the
- 34:18Dolphins got what they needed for a rebuild and the Broncos
- 34:21got what they needed for Bonex. So All in all, I like, I like
- 34:26that trade. I don't think either one lost
- 34:29necessarily. I wish the Bucks had done a lot
- 34:32more. I'm surprised to see that the
- 34:35Titans, I believe the Titans have spent more than the
- 34:37Raiders, which I didn't know was possible.
- 34:39I thought the Raiders would blow everyone else out of the water,
- 34:41I think. If we had an extra 30 minutes,
- 34:44Avery, I would go over all the reasons why I think the Bucks
- 34:48actually had a good free agency. So maybe we can talk about that
- 34:51later. We'll talk about because I, I, I
- 34:54put a lot of effort into that because I thought it might come
- 34:56up, but it would literally take the rest of the show, so.
- 34:59I I have to hop off in 15 minutes.
- 35:02Avery missed the first part of the show.
- 35:04He he used to make up for his time.
- 35:06We're out. We're paying hourly here.
- 35:08Is it? All stay on.
- 35:10I'll stay on after you guys get off and then do like a 40 minute
- 35:14just freestyle. Just just riffing, just giving
- 35:19my thoughts. It'll drift to basketball and
- 35:21stuff because no one's here to like rein me back in.
- 35:24Dude, I was on the road for so long.
- 35:30It would be good. It'd be good content if someone
- 35:32just, it's just like the show is ended but Avery's still on and
- 35:35I'm just like trying to monologue.
- 35:37I was on the road for like 2 1/2 hours and I probably was driving
- 35:42for about an hour of it. That was horrific.
- 35:45I've never experienced that yet. I've not been on the road that
- 35:47long. That was, it was also like the
- 35:49worst things were happening around the road.
- 35:52There were constant wrecks everywhere.
- 35:53I don't know what was going on. There's not been any bad
- 35:56weather. Weather is actually very
- 35:57beautiful right now. And I kept pushing his back.
- 35:59This was supposed to start, what, an hour, an hour and a
- 36:03half ago? And then I was like, make it
- 36:04start an hour ago. And then I was like, I'll be
- 36:06here in 1/2 hour. And then I wasn't there.
- 36:09And I was like, give me like 20 more minutes.
- 36:10And then even then, I was still late.
- 36:13And what else did you say? What else did you say?
- 36:15What else did I say? Yeah, what other text did you
- 36:18send us? Avery, Oh, I've already added.
- 36:26I mean, you can count this or not.
- 36:28I'll say it, I'll say it. I said my girlfriend's you.
- 36:33Mean that's not your friend. I wasn't trying to blow you
- 36:35under. The bus with your.
- 36:36Girlfriend. Not that part.
- 36:37Not that part. Well, you called.
- 36:39You, I wasn't trying to throw you under the bus with your
- 36:40girlfriend, buddy. I'm going to leave that in so
- 36:43hopefully she doesn't. What did you say that wasn't?
- 36:47What you said about you. I said blame Alex and her dumb
- 36:52bitch Asian. Friend, Yeah, you're making this
- 36:59so much worse for yourself. You're you're making this so
- 37:04much worse. That was or.
- 37:06There is so much. Worse, So much worse than it
- 37:09needs to be. Well.
- 37:11All I know is that she couldn't find she had an Airbnb and she
- 37:15thought there were no more keys that that the tenant didn't
- 37:18leave them. They did because it's part of
- 37:20the following the rules and they had never, they had misplaced
- 37:24their other keys because they gave it to their in laws who
- 37:27lost it. And so we had to go and find it.
- 37:30We had to drive over there. I thought it was an 8 minute
- 37:33drive, so 16 minutes total. It was 15 to 18 there and back.
- 37:38And then it, it, it got out of hand and I was just, I was like
- 37:42this bitch. I threw her under the bus.
- 37:47But it was. My.
- 37:48Hope she doesn't. Listen to this.
- 37:51Alex will listen to this. She'll be like, where is where
- 37:54is Avery? Why is he not on this episode?
- 37:56I thought he was on this episode and then.
- 37:57She'll and hopefully she'll turn it off.
- 37:59Hopefully she'll turn it off before she gets to this part.
- 38:02Yeah, Then she'll see me and then be like, oh, yeah, what?
- 38:06Where were you? And then I'm like her bitch
- 38:08Asian friend who lives in California, and she'll be like,
- 38:11that's right. She agreed.
- 38:12She'll agree with me. She won't even be upset about
- 38:14it. If her bitch Asian friend sees
- 38:16this, she'll probably be upset, but she'll also know that we did
- 38:19her a huge solid and she needs to get her keys copied so that
- 38:23we don't have to drive over there to make sure that her job
- 38:26is being done right. So.
- 38:29I'm so glad we're recording. It's all love.
- 38:32All love though. OK, well Will has to go soon, so
- 38:37let's get into some scouting reports real quick before Will
- 38:40has to hop off. Let's do it.
- 38:41And then Avery, maybe we can talk about some Bucks free
- 38:44agency after all, right. So we'll move on to some
- 38:48scouting reports. And So what we've been doing is
- 38:50going through ESPN's top 50 big board and moving down the list
- 38:53one through 50. But ESPN has recently updated
- 38:56their big board and moved a lot of players around.
- 38:58So today we're going to be doing scouting reports for a couple
- 39:02different guys. We had three planned.
- 39:04I don't think we're going to get through three.
- 39:05Hopefully we can do 2 while Will is still here with us.
- 39:08So if we don't get through all three, we'll do the other one
- 39:10probably next week. And so Will and I decided the
- 39:13two we were going to try and do is Penn State Ygard Venga Yuane
- 39:17and Ohio State defensive tackle Kaden McDonald.
- 39:21And so previously, those two guys ranked 22nd and.
- 39:24I'm so sorry. Yes, I'm so sorry Travis.
- 39:28HN made me think, made me think of this.
- 39:32I have heard Vega Awani. I have heard his name pronounced
- 39:375 different ways. Listen, if you are, if you are a
- 39:42prospect going into a media centered job, whether it be
- 39:49sports or entertainment of any genre, even Canadian Football
- 39:54League, it's actually pronounced McMurray, not McMurray.
- 39:58Just make sure you get the official pronunciation out there
- 40:02early. That way we're not calling you
- 40:05Robbie Gould for 20 or 10 years and it's actually Robbie Gould.
- 40:10What's? There is a video of Bango Yuane
- 40:14saying his name, that's why I'm pronouncing it the way I am
- 40:16because I heard him actually. Say that way spread because I
- 40:20heard so many people different, even PFF, the two guys in the
- 40:23PFF show say it different ways in their own Dang show.
- 40:27Get it out there and get it out there properly early.
- 40:30That way everyone can say it properly.
- 40:32Is one of those that is one of those guys, Trevor Sikkima?
- 40:35I don't know. There's one skinny white dude.
- 40:37Skinny white dude. Anyway, his name is pronounced,
- 40:43well, his first name. I'm shortening his first name.
- 40:46I'm shortening his first name to Venga there.
- 40:49It's actually Vega is how white people say it.
- 40:52But yeah, Venga is how you actually say it.
- 40:55So it's Venga Yoani is how you say his name According to him,
- 40:59so that's why I'm saying it that way.
- 41:01Anyways, Wenger Yuane previously ranked 22nd on the big board,
- 41:05now he ranks 5th. And Katie McDonald previously
- 41:08ranked 24th, now he ranks 21st. So these guys have been moved
- 41:13around. But let's just go ahead and
- 41:16start with the 5th overall player on the big board
- 41:18currently, which is Penn State guard Vengo Yuane.
- 41:21And Will. I usually have you go first with
- 41:23the offensive lineman, but I wanted to do something a little
- 41:25bit different today. I would like Avery and I to go
- 41:28first and then see if you agree or disagree with us on this
- 41:31prospect. Yes.
- 41:33So I'll start. I think Vengo Yuane is an elite
- 41:36pass protector. It seems like he can counter any
- 41:39pass rush move that a defender will throw at it.
- 41:42I saw a ton of plays where a defender would get their first
- 41:44move, shut down and then they try something else and then he'd
- 41:47shut that down too. His ability to mirror what
- 41:50defensive lineman are doing I think is elite.
- 41:52He's got a really good anchor and he does not get pushed back
- 41:55into the quarterback and he's always keeping the pocket clean.
- 41:58I know he's an interior offensive lineman and teams
- 42:01don't value that high up in the draft, but I think he's got a
- 42:04good case to be the best offensive lineman in this draft.
- 42:08I really like his contact balance.
- 42:10I think there were a lot of times on film where I saw a play
- 42:12ends with a defender on the ground and him either standing
- 42:15over them or he was on top of them because he can play through
- 42:18the contact and they couldn't. And once he gets his hands on
- 42:21you, you're done. He has an elite grip strength to
- 42:24latch onto defenders, and he does not let go.
- 42:27He's got the power in his hands and his hips to drive you either
- 42:30down the field or to the ground. And I know nobody likes their
- 42:34team to draft offensive lineman in the first round, But if Vengo
- 42:37Yuwane ends up on your team, do not be disappointed because
- 42:40Vengo Yuwane is a beast. Yeah, no.
- 42:43I. I agree with Joel, in fact.
- 42:45I mean, I saw this guy play and then I watched some of that game
- 42:48tape from the Oregon Penn State game.
- 42:51He just looks like a pro. He looks like he has the tools
- 42:55to be a professional offensive lineman.
- 42:59He he, he, he looks like a just a consummate professional.
- 43:03Jenga. Jenga Umami to me is someone who
- 43:07I think, oh. My gosh.
- 43:11Oh, hey, Mr. That's my job, OK? That's my job.
- 43:14I'm back. Yeah, I I, I do I By the way, I
- 43:21do think it's funny that a Mega had that tweet, or maybe he
- 43:24didn't saying is CTE even real when his name got pronounced a
- 43:29Mega egg Big Boo by the one guy who definitely has CTE.
- 43:33Like. He of all people should know,
- 43:38but no, I, I think I, I think he, I think he, he just looks
- 43:42like a safe pick to me. And I think for an offensive
- 43:46line, that's kind of what you want, unlike maybe certain skill
- 43:50positions where you think, you know, high ceiling but low
- 43:52floor. I think this guy is just like
- 43:54the, his ceiling and floor are very close to one another.
- 43:58And I think he, just like Joel said, he just, he looks
- 44:01reliable, He looks sturdy, he looks competent.
- 44:04And for an offensive lineman, I think consistency is is really
- 44:08what you want. Yeah, So will tell us if you
- 44:10agree or disagree with that and I know you love to hate on guys,
- 44:14so give us some of the things you don't like about.
- 44:15It let me tell you, oh, I could not be happier right now.
- 44:19I agree with you guys for the most parts.
- 44:22He has had 0 sacks in the last two years.
- 44:25In the last two years, he's allowed fourteen quarterback
- 44:28pressures, one this last year, 175 snaps past walking Stamps,
- 44:33one pressure, no snaps, one penalty all season.
- 44:38This guy is the guy when it comes to interior offensive
- 44:42lineman, when it comes to offensive guards.
- 44:46Thank you for pulling this up, big body.
- 44:49See this says 4 pressures allowed.
- 44:51What I said said one pressure allowed.
- 44:53This is the problem with pressures as a stat is different
- 44:57people static differently. So you're going to get different
- 44:59answers. So that's we're going to have a
- 45:01little discrepancy here depending on on who's grading
- 45:03what 64325. I think he measured in at the
- 45:07combine at 3:23. I know obviously that's just he.
- 45:12Did he did I just ChatGPT put 325 so I didn't want to change
- 45:16it was. 2 lbs weight, weight's just going to vary for the rest
- 45:19of his career and then when he leaves NFL hopefully he drops
- 45:22about £150 like most of these offensive lineman do.
- 45:26He is strong as I'll get out when he gets his hands on you.
- 45:29He's not letting go my issues with him.
- 45:35This boy cheats. This boy cheats so much.
- 45:40Oh my gosh does this boy cheat. He great feet.
- 45:45I saw this one, this one guy said it's it's shoes under
- 45:49shorts blocking for him and that is the absolute truth.
- 45:53He keeps his feet under him. He keeps everything in front of
- 45:57him. The problem is, is that on run
- 45:59blocking, he wants to hit you and then lay on you and, and to
- 46:05me that's that is good. I guess you're taking one of the
- 46:08people out of it, but you're also taking yourself out of it.
- 46:11He wants to make the hit and then make sure you stay down,
- 46:14but then you take yourself out of it.
- 46:15If the defensive guy is on the ground, chances are very low
- 46:19they're making the play. Not 0, but very low they're
- 46:21going to make the play. He should have been called for
- 46:24so many holding penalties. Every other snap he's pulling
- 46:29jerseys, he's doing all this stuff.
- 46:31He keeps his hands inside the shoulder pads for the most part,
- 46:35and that's why he doesn't get called for it.
- 46:37But that kind of play until it's refined at the NFL level is not
- 46:43going to go well initially. He's going to.
- 46:46I will not be surprised if in combined workouts this offseason
- 46:51where two different teams are having combined practices, if he
- 46:55is involved in at least one fight because of the way he
- 46:59plays offensive line and that is what she wants from your
- 47:03interior offensive lineman is exactly what you want.
- 47:06I want a guy who's going to cause fights and and Vega Venga.
- 47:14Venga. Venga ulari umami gugari uwani.
- 47:24Umami Bugatti. He is the guy you wants if you
- 47:29honestly, if I were the Raiders, I would legitimately consider
- 47:33putting him right next to Tyler Lindenbaum.
- 47:35You need for Fernando Mendoza. Trade back up.
- 47:38Get him, get him, put him next to Lindenbaum, get yourself a
- 47:42stacked interior offensive line, pass blocking, solid run
- 47:48blocking. He needs to develop a bit more
- 47:50to get his hands for him and to keep his feet.
- 47:53He will make a hit and then if you're on the ground, he's going
- 47:56to just jump on you and that will just get called for
- 47:58unnecessary roughness or that will get called for whatever.
- 48:01It is going to cause fights because he's not going to be the
- 48:04biggest guy around in the NFL, but it is going to be he.
- 48:08He is a beast. He's an animal.
- 48:09He is very, very good. Yeah, I don't have anything else
- 48:13to add. I love, I really like Van Gogh.
- 48:15You want a lot? I do.
- 48:17If the Bucks dropped at him at 15, I would not be upset at all
- 48:20to be. Honest, you shouldn't be.
- 48:22I would like it. OK, settled then.
- 48:23All right. All right, he's the pick at 15.
- 48:27He's the pick, the pick's in. I'm so I'm so happy.
- 48:32Do you guys have? Anything else?
- 48:34Yeah, I know. Do you guys have anything else
- 48:36you want to add with Vengo Yuani?
- 48:39Nope. Packing shirt OK.
- 48:42We got like 5 minutes. So let's talk about Ohio State
- 48:45defensive tackle King McDonald, who is currently ranked as the
- 48:48number 21 player on the ESPN Top 50 Big Board.
- 48:51And I'd like to start this off with a question for you guys.
- 48:54So King McDonald had 64 tackles in 2025, which is a very high
- 48:59number of tackles for a defensive tackle.
- 49:01Do you think that's because he's just that good?
- 49:03Is it because he had players like Caleb Downs, Arville Reese,
- 49:05and Sonny Styles around him? Or is it a bit of both?
- 49:09Me or you, Avery? I'll, I'll go quick.
- 49:12I, I, I think it's a bit of both.
- 49:14On one hand, I do feel like the talent at Ohio State makes a lot
- 49:19of the other players look really good.
- 49:21And if it wasn't for the track record that Ohio State has of
- 49:24putting legitimate pros into the league, I would stick with that.
- 49:30But I, I do think I think he's a little bit of a riskier pick.
- 49:35I mean, he's obviously on the other side of the line here.
- 49:37Part of it is just that the little bit, like what you said
- 49:39here, often stops rushing when the first move doesn't work.
- 49:43That does kind of concern me a little bit.
- 49:45I like to see someone with a little bit more tenacity or even
- 49:49just more tricks up his sleeve to keep it going.
- 49:52I don't know if that's more of an effort thing or just a skill
- 49:55set issue or or what. But then again, I I do feel like
- 50:00even though these guys can look inflated because of the town
- 50:03they have around them, Ohio State is always putting out
- 50:06ridiculously good guys every single year.
- 50:09I have written down here Styles, Reese and Downs owe this man a
- 50:14lot how successful they were able to be.
- 50:17Teams didn't know where to go defensively or offensively
- 50:21against Ohio State. And if you run up the middle,
- 50:23you running into Kaden McDonald, you running the outside, you
- 50:26running into to Downs, Reese and Styles, you can't run anywhere
- 50:31against this team. And so I I think he actually was
- 50:34fifth on their team in tackles this year.
- 50:36As it, like you said, as a defensive tackle is unbelievably
- 50:40high. It is not your job.
- 50:41Your job is to stop the the stop the play from coming at the
- 50:44middle and force everything outside.
- 50:46Or we can use our 12th man the boundary to our advantage.
- 50:50McDonald didn't need that. Yeah, he may have stopped after
- 50:53the first move, but his first move worked so often he it's
- 50:58almost as if he was just like, oh, I don't know what to do now.
- 51:01I'm stronger than this guy. Why didn't I push him out of the
- 51:03way? What do I do next kind of thing?
- 51:06And so I like this guy a lot. I, I, I don't have anything else
- 51:12really to say about him. He, he's a bit slower than you
- 51:14want, but he's a defensive tackle.
- 51:16You don't need it. He's not Lee Hunter on athletic,
- 51:19but he's not, he's not like how do you know?
- 51:22I have to look at our board to see who's who's Lee.
- 51:25Hunter moved down ESP NS Big Board.
- 51:27Absolutely. He did.
- 51:30Yeah. Yeah.
- 51:32So. They watched the show.
- 51:35Big big fan? Yeah, big fan of Kaden McDonald.
- 51:38Me too. Yeah.
- 51:39When you breakdown Kid McDonald's tackle numbers, you
- 51:41see that he had 31 solo tackles and 34 assist tackles.
- 51:45So pretty much half of the time he was making the tackle by
- 51:48himself. McDonald isn't just out there
- 51:50taking up space. He's actively looking for and
- 51:53pursuing the ball carrier. And because he's doing that,
- 51:55he's often disrupting the play and making ball carriers go
- 51:58places that they didn't intend to go.
- 52:00So for me to give a player comparison, Kid McDonald reminds
- 52:04me a little bit of Vidavea. Vita is a little bit bigger than
- 52:07he is, but Vita Vea and Kate McDonald are very similar
- 52:11because they aren't there to just take up space, they're
- 52:14there to find the ball while taking up space.
- 52:17Katie McDonald is a phenomenal run defender who shows flashes
- 52:20of being a good interior pass rusher as well.
- 52:22Vita Veo has developed into a very good interior pass rushing
- 52:25presence throughout his career, and I think Katie McDonald can
- 52:28do the same thing. He had three sacks in 2025, so
- 52:31he's shown the ability to rush the passer from the interior,
- 52:34but he does need to learn how to counter when his first move is
- 52:37shut down because as we'll mentioned, he kind of just stops
- 52:41after that first move just doesn't work.
- 52:43But overall, he's shown that he has the potential to be a very
- 52:47good interior pass rusher in the NFL.
- 52:50And if your team is looking for help on the interior defensive
- 52:53line, they should absolutely target Kate and McDonald.
- 52:58Will Do you have to go. I do have to go, sorry guys.
- 53:01You want to give us a bye now y'all?
- 53:05Bye now y'all. Bye Will.
- 53:09See you guys. Then there we're 2.
- 53:13Right. So since Will is gone, we will
- 53:16wait to rank these these two guys until next week.
- 53:20We'll we'll wait on that. But Avery, I have a lot to say
- 53:24about the Buccaneers free agency moves and I actually really like
- 53:27them. So I want to know, I want to
- 53:30know first why you don't like it that much.
- 53:33For me, I was, I was just expecting more, I guess.
- 53:38I I think they still filled the holes they needed to, but I
- 53:41guess I was just seeing some of the bigger moves that other
- 53:45teams were making was kind of disappointing like to see that
- 53:48we weren't making as many. But then again, that's probably
- 53:51more flash over substance. My big thing though, ultimately
- 53:56is just, and this might just be reading into tabloids a little
- 54:00bit too much, but I really just don't like Todd Bowles as the
- 54:05head coach. I think he's a nice man Nobody.
- 54:08I just, and it's just one of those things, I feel like, I
- 54:12feel like Mike Evans left because of the direction the
- 54:16team was headed. Like that's what I feel like
- 54:18maybe he won't say that. Maybe it's unprofessional to say
- 54:21it. But.
- 54:22That's what it is in in the twilight of his career.
- 54:25He's probably just looking to win and he probably would have
- 54:28been still fine knowing like where the team was if there was
- 54:32more change. But to me, I just see like, OK,
- 54:36it was a mediocre season. And if you don't include the
- 54:39first part of the season, it was a terrible season.
- 54:42And so to me, like when you don't have changes, like cuz I
- 54:46can understand, there's been times, I mean, I'm fans of other
- 54:48team, I'm a fan of other teams. And I can see where it's like,
- 54:51OK, we had a bad season, but it was because of some injuries or
- 54:56some of the games just went the wrong way.
- 54:58Or there's some calls where it's like, OK, but like as soon as we
- 55:02get our ducks in a row, like it's going to turn around.
- 55:04We don't need to start, you know, reinventing the wheel
- 55:06here. But here it's like, OK, I don't
- 55:09know whether it's the leadership, it just feels
- 55:11passionless. It feels like he's just there.
- 55:14I don't know where he gets, where the front office or
- 55:18management or ownership is getting the confidence with this
- 55:22guy, where it's really just like, yeah, we don't want to
- 55:24keep switching it up. Maybe it's just you want to keep
- 55:26something there for a little bit to like, get it going.
- 55:28But to me, I just don't feel like this is the guy.
- 55:31I feel like we're at risk of losing Baker at some point soon,
- 55:34and then you kind of lose the whole heart and soul of the team
- 55:37and it worries me. So to me, I was expecting more
- 55:41from free agency and still the draft.
- 55:45What was that? That is my wife opening the
- 55:47garage. So disrespectful.
- 55:52Apparently she didn't know. That I was still on the podcast.
- 55:59Because I was talking Dad. Right to hear you.
- 56:03I couldn't hear. You normally I hear you.
- 56:06Wow. Anyway, all that to be said, I
- 56:08was expecting. I was expecting more and I
- 56:12should have known that like bulls was the really big thing I
- 56:15wanted and I didn't get it. That was my big wish list item
- 56:18and never got it so. I think it's very understandable
- 56:21to be disappointed with Todd Bowles.
- 56:23I, I don't think any Bucks fan wants Todd Bowles to be there,
- 56:27but I'm just basing these moves off of the moves themself
- 56:31because Todd Bowles is there. So that's the only that's like,
- 56:34I'm kind of leaving that out even though I hate it.
- 56:37He is there. And so I'm just basing the moves
- 56:39off of the moves themselves. So a lot of people are unhappy
- 56:44with how free agency went for the Buccaneers, but I actually
- 56:47disagree. And so I'll go through all the
- 56:49losses and, well, not all of them.
- 56:51I'll go through the key losses and the key ads for the Bucks,
- 56:54and I'll tell you why I actually like this.
- 56:56So the key losses, we'll start with those losing Mike Evans.
- 57:00I'm not attached to Mike Evans like most Bucks fans are, but I
- 57:03get it. He's a franchise legend.
- 57:04So the loss hurts. But guess what?
- 57:07You just drafted a wide receiver in the first round of last
- 57:09year's NFL Draft. And when you draft a wide
- 57:11receiver in the first round, you're expecting them to be a
- 57:13top wide receiver and a Mecca. Ibuka showed you flashes of
- 57:17being able to do that last year. So no more Mike Evans means that
- 57:20now is his time and that's why you drafted him.
- 57:23We lost corner Jamel Dean. Jamel Dean is a good corner, but
- 57:27I don't think he's anything special.
- 57:29He's also hurt a lot. He didn't miss a ton of games,
- 57:32but he was always playing hurt. It was expected that he was
- 57:35going to leave pretty much the entire year.
- 57:36And so the Bucks last NFL Draft as well, drafted two corners in
- 57:40the second and third round by taking Benjamin Morrison and
- 57:43Jacob Parrish. I don't think we saw what
- 57:45Morrison can really be last year because he was hurt for seven
- 57:48games. But when he was on the field, he
- 57:49didn't play bad. And then Jacob Parrish I really
- 57:52like a lot and I think he played really good last year.
- 57:55So this is kind of the same situation with Mike Evans
- 57:57leading. You drafted these guys for a
- 57:58reason. They showed you potential and
- 58:00now it's their time to step up with the additions.
- 58:04The Buccaneers brought six players in who weren't on the
- 58:06team last year. And so I'll go through each
- 58:08player and I'll tell you why I like them.
- 58:10So starting with linebacker Alex Anzalone, the linebacker play
- 58:14for this defense was not good last year.
- 58:16So what did they do? They brought in a good
- 58:18linebacker. Is Anceloni one of the best
- 58:21linebackers in the league? No.
- 58:23But is he a solid linebacker? Absolutely.
- 58:26He was a team captain for the Lions and he wore the green dot
- 58:28for them during his time there. And so he knows how to lead a
- 58:31defense. Did the Bucks get better at
- 58:33linebacker? Yes, because Anceloni makes them
- 58:36better. But do they need to get more
- 58:38than just Anceloni at linebacker?
- 58:40Also yes. But it's a good start.
- 58:42Then moving to running back Kenneth Gainwell.
- 58:45I really like the signing because I think he's going to be
- 58:47big for the Buccaneers. Last season, Gainwell had over
- 58:501000 total yards and eight touchdowns for the Steelers.
- 58:52And now he steps into the RB2 role behind Bucky Irving to
- 58:55replace Rashad White, who sucks. So Gainwell gives you more than
- 59:00Rashad White does from a running back and as a receiver in my
- 59:04opinion. So I think he's an upgrade.
- 59:06Then moving to defensive lineman A Shawn Robinson, the Bucks said
- 59:10that one of their goals on defense this offseason was to
- 59:12get bigger. So they lost Logan Hall, who was
- 59:14in that position before who is 66283.
- 59:17They bring in Robinson who is 63320, so they got bigger.
- 59:22Robinson also plays with a nastiness that was missing very
- 59:25much so from the Bucks defense last season.
- 59:27So I think that is going to kind of change the attitude of the
- 59:31the entire defense having him on the defensive line.
- 59:34Then they also brought in edge Alkadeen Muhammed, who had 11
- 59:37sacks last year for the Lions. I get that he played next to
- 59:41Aidan Hutchinson and Aidan Hutchinson took all the
- 59:43attention. But Bucks signed this guy to a
- 59:46one year, $6 million deal. That's actually a $4 million
- 59:49deal that could be 6,000,000 based on performance.
- 59:51So the Bucks pass rush was bad last year.
- 59:54We all know that. So everyone is looking at the
- 59:56fact that the Bucks didn't sign Trey Hendrickson, a free agency,
- 59:58and saying it's a loss. But what the Bucks didn't do is
- 1:00:01sign a 31 year old pass rusher to a four year, $112 million
- 1:00:05contract that's worth 28 million a year.
- 1:00:08Instead, the Bucks went for the value that won't hurt them later
- 1:00:11down the road when a 35 year old player falls off.
- 1:00:15So them signing Al Qadim Muhammad to a $6 million deal is
- 1:00:18very good value because there there had to have been teams
- 1:00:22that were willing to give this guy more money.
- 1:00:24Aiden Hutchinson or not, he had 11 sacks and he's getting $6
- 1:00:28million a year. That is very good value in my
- 1:00:31opinion. Then moving to quarterback Jake
- 1:00:35Browning. The Bucks brought in Jake
- 1:00:37Browning to back up Baker Mayfield after losing Teddy
- 1:00:39Bridgewater. Everyone saying that this move
- 1:00:41sucks, but I actually really like it.
- 1:00:44Did Jake Browning play well last year?
- 1:00:46No, not at all. But did he play great in 2023?
- 1:00:50Yes, and at least Jake Browning is willing to go out there and
- 1:00:53sling the ball around. You do not get that with Teddy
- 1:00:56Bridgewater. Look at when Teddy Bridgewater
- 1:00:58was in for the Bucks this last season.
- 1:00:59He wasn't out there slinging the ball around like Baker, but Jake
- 1:01:02Browning can do that. So if Baker gets hurt, you now
- 1:01:05have a guy who plays more similar to Baker Mayfield than
- 1:01:08Teddy Bridgewater. And so you don't have to change
- 1:01:10your offense in that situation. And then finally, the Bucks
- 1:01:14brought in safety Miles Killebrew.
- 1:01:16And the reason why that is important is because he is a
- 1:01:18special teams ace. He made the Pro Bowl as a
- 1:01:21special teamer in 23 and 24 and he was an all pro and special
- 1:01:25teams in 23. He didn't make it last year
- 1:01:27because he was hurt, but he is very good on special teams and
- 1:01:30the Bucks special teams was bad last year.
- 1:01:32The Bucks brought in their the new special teams coach and
- 1:01:35Danny Smith who came from the Steelers where Miles Killebrew
- 1:01:37came from. And so he said I need this guy.
- 1:01:40And they went and got him his guy.
- 1:01:42So in my opinion, with the six new guys they brought in, they
- 1:01:45got better at linebacker, they got better on the defensive
- 1:01:48line, they got better at running back, they got better at backup
- 1:01:50quarterback, and they got better on special teams.
- 1:01:53They got better at more positions than they got worse
- 1:01:55at. And to me, that's a win.
- 1:01:58I'm not going to sit here and say that the Bucks were winners
- 1:02:00of free agency, but I don't think that they were losers
- 1:02:03either. Yeah, no, that's I, I, I would
- 1:02:07agree. I, I, I do like those changes.
- 1:02:10I, I think for me, though, it's more just, it's like it does I,
- 1:02:15I do think those are smart moves.
- 1:02:17For me, it's more like I want to see more urgency because to me
- 1:02:23it's in part of this. It get it.
- 1:02:25It obviously always goes back to Bulls, but the beginning of last
- 1:02:30season showed how good this team could be.
- 1:02:34And I felt like the coaching let him down.
- 1:02:36I felt like injuries let him down.
- 1:02:39And so partially I, I, I just want to know, like, it didn't
- 1:02:43seem like there was really much of a response to that
- 1:02:46second-half of the season. Like you look at that and you're
- 1:02:49like, OK, I'm expecting big moves here.
- 1:02:52It's not like it's the last game and things fell apart.
- 1:02:55It's like, dude, it was the last 10 games that like everything
- 1:02:59fell apart and everyone is like, Kay, I'm expecting a big
- 1:03:04response this offseason. And to me this feels like what I
- 1:03:09would want to see from like the Broncos where it's like, oh,
- 1:03:13we're right on the cusp, let's just improve a few positions.
- 1:03:17Let's not let's not shake up the roster too much.
- 1:03:21So on one hand, I'm not like I'm for it.
- 1:03:25Didn't Jake Browning was he? I could be totally
- 1:03:27misremembering this. Didn't he throw like 5 picks in
- 1:03:30a game last season? Or is that someone else?
- 1:03:33Yeah, he threw a lot of interceptions last year.
- 1:03:36But I know that he's on, he's on, he's on the, you know, he's
- 1:03:39on the Cincinnati Bengals. And I mean, even what's his face
- 1:03:43couldn't even stay healthy. So like I I do, I do like that
- 1:03:47he's still throwing it. I like seeing that.
- 1:03:49I agree with that. I guess to me, like in the
- 1:03:53backup quarterback is a position, but to me, if your
- 1:03:56quarterback goes down, like it's already kind of a wash.
- 1:04:00Like, again, going back to basketball here, Caleb Wilson is
- 1:04:04the best freshman that Carolina's ever had and that's
- 1:04:07saying a lot. And when he went down, it
- 1:04:10doesn't really matter who's a backup.
- 1:04:11It's like this, the season's kind of over.
- 1:04:14Like you can win some games and they beat Duke miraculously, but
- 1:04:17that was with Caleb Wilson. But then after that, that it's
- 1:04:20like it's, it's like you can't unless you're the Eagles with
- 1:04:24Knowles, like you're not really expecting to go to the Super
- 1:04:27Bowl here. So to me, like the backup
- 1:04:29quarterback situation isn't that that big of a deal.
- 1:04:31I am at this point kind of holding my breath to see what
- 1:04:34they do in the draft because I felt like last year's draft went
- 1:04:38really well. I thought that Ibuka and even a
- 1:04:40Tez Johnson coming out, it's like, dude, we pick this up, we
- 1:04:44pick this guy up in garbage time.
- 1:04:46And so I, I, I like seeing what some of these guys can do.
- 1:04:50I'm hoping that it, that was intentional and it wasn't just
- 1:04:53lucky from their front office of picking the right guys.
- 1:04:56So I'm hoping that at least and maybe it's a little bit of a
- 1:05:00plan, trust or attitude, but I want to see that their free
- 1:05:04agency moves compliment who they draft.
- 1:05:09So I'm I'm at least hoping for that.
- 1:05:11And then the other thing is the frustrating thing for me is that
- 1:05:16I feel like the only way Coach Bowles gets fired is if they
- 1:05:19have another one more disappointing season.
- 1:05:21And I don't want to have another disappointing season, but I also
- 1:05:24don't want to be just above mediocre.
- 1:05:26So it's frustrating from the end of life.
- 1:05:29If they win. If they win, then both stays
- 1:05:31longer too. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:05:33And it gives them more leeway. And I'm just not a big fan of
- 1:05:36just staying in that middle section.
- 1:05:38I want to go for a coach that's that has that, you know, I want
- 1:05:42to say just that buzz or that excitement.
- 1:05:44But yeah, it's so it's that that is definitely been getting me
- 1:05:49down. But I do agree with what you're
- 1:05:51saying about those positions, about being able to fill, get
- 1:05:54better at these positions, answer these, you know, these
- 1:05:57holes that are there. But yeah, I guess for me, I just
- 1:06:00wanted to see bigger, bigger changes.
- 1:06:04But I do agree that those are still good ones.
- 1:06:06Yeah, and, and they were very much in on the Trey Hendrickson
- 1:06:09signing because Trey Hendrickson wanted to go to Tampa.
- 1:06:13They wanted a shorter term deal and Trey Hendrickson wanted a
- 1:06:16longer term deal. I like the fact though that they
- 1:06:19didn't go for the longer term deal because like I mentioned,
- 1:06:22he's going to be 35 at the end of that deal.
- 1:06:24And when when pass rushers are over that age, maybe they're
- 1:06:29still good, but you don't know. And Trey Hendrickson is coming
- 1:06:32off an injury from last season. The older you get, you're not
- 1:06:35going to get less injury prone, you're going to get more injury
- 1:06:38prone. So I actually like that they
- 1:06:41didn't sign him to like, if they would have signed him to a two
- 1:06:44year deal, like a shorter term deal, I would have loved it.
- 1:06:47But because they didn't sign into the longer term deal,
- 1:06:50actually like it. And, and again, it was $28
- 1:06:52million a year. So instead you're bringing in
- 1:06:55the guy who had 11 sacks for $6 million.
- 1:06:58Yep. So I I think they're, they made
- 1:07:01smart moves because Will, and I briefly mentioned this too,
- 1:07:05they're still kind of recovering from when they put everything
- 1:07:08into when Tom Brady was here, when they won the Super Bowl,
- 1:07:12because when Tom Brady came, they put everything into that
- 1:07:15team. They signed a whole bunch of
- 1:07:17guys, a whole bunch of money. And they are still kind of
- 1:07:19recovering from that. So I like that they are aware of
- 1:07:23that still, but they're still making signings that improve the
- 1:07:26team. Now, did they improve the team
- 1:07:29to compete with the Rams and Seahawks?
- 1:07:32No, but but they are, I, I think they're still making smart moves
- 1:07:38that helps them at least financially for the future.
- 1:07:41So I I'm trying to look at it in a more positive way.
- 1:07:46That honestly, no, that, that is a good point.
- 1:07:48I, I do think that financial responsibility to your team's
- 1:07:51future is important. I, I, I do agree with that.
- 1:07:55I, I'm, I'm also on the boat of, of, you know, I don't think we
- 1:07:59would want Trey Hendrickson now for the cost, the time, the risk
- 1:08:03where it's like, I mean, for what to, to, to get, you know, I
- 1:08:06mean, we, we would obviously be better on defense, but it's one
- 1:08:10of those things where it's like, look, we're not really at that
- 1:08:12point. If we were right on the cusp and
- 1:08:14it was like, dude, this guy will get us over that hump and take
- 1:08:17us there, then I'd say go for it.
- 1:08:19But right now, I mean, hey, maybe there's other guys you can
- 1:08:22get in the draft, get some younger guys, make the team look
- 1:08:25more appealing moving forward. So that is a yeah, I I would
- 1:08:30agree with that 100%. Yeah, I'm glad we got to talk
- 1:08:32about that because I spent a lot of time going through that.
- 1:08:35Yeah, I put a lot of thought into that.
- 1:08:37So yeah, I unless you have anything else you want to add, I
- 1:08:41don't have anything else. So I think we'll wrap it up.
- 1:08:43So next week there's a couple different things that we could
- 1:08:46be talking about because the NFL owners meeting is coming up in a
- 1:08:49couple weeks. And last year we talked about
- 1:08:51the proposed rule changes. I haven't seen any of those
- 1:08:55proposed rules come out yet. So if they do come out before
- 1:08:58next week's episode, we'll probably be talking about those.
- 1:09:01But if they don't, we'll probably just do some more
- 1:09:03scouting reports unless there's something else significant that
- 1:09:05happens. But it's the offseason and the
- 1:09:07drafts not here yet, so probably doing scouting reports.
- 1:09:10So we'll see what happens. But as always, guys, don't
- 1:09:13forget to keep your balls played with.
- 1:09:15We'll see you next time. Also, Mark Davis and Sarah Kest
- 1:09:17still sucks.
