- 0:09Speaker 1: Well, I invited you, hear, I thought I made myself
- 0:15Speaker 1: perfectly clear.
- 0:17Speaker 2: But you're I.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Guess to my home. You gotta come to me empty,
- 0:24Speaker 1: And I said, no, guess, your own presence is presence enough.
- 0:31Speaker 1: And I already had too much stuff. So how do
- 0:36Speaker 1: you dare to surbey me?
- 0:48Speaker 3: Hello, it's me Bridger. I'm back in the kitchen. It's
- 0:51Speaker 3: one hundred and six degrees outside. If the air conditioning
- 0:55Speaker 3: you know, starts cranking, don't let that noise startle you.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Just remain calm. It's me trying to stay cool in
- 1:00Speaker 3: these blazing temperatures. I need to tell you that this
- 1:05Speaker 3: is a big announcement. By popular demand, Yes, by popular demand,
- 1:10Speaker 3: we will be doing a live stream of the upcoming
- 1:13Speaker 3: live show in Brooklyn at the Bellhouse on October thirteenth.
- 1:18Speaker 3: What does this mean for you, Well, first of all,
- 1:19Speaker 3: it means that I will absolutely cave under pressure. If
- 1:22Speaker 3: enough people scream something at me or demand something of me,
- 1:25Speaker 3: I will do it. So that's something to keep in
- 1:27Speaker 3: mind in case you want to manipulate me in the future.
- 1:30Speaker 3: If a mob is after me, I will definitely crumble.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I'll do whatever it takes to survive and make the
- 1:35Speaker 3: mob happy. What else does this mean. It means that
- 1:38Speaker 3: let's say you're in Australia and you want to watch
- 1:40Speaker 3: the live show and you don't have time to get
- 1:43Speaker 3: on that ninety hour flight to New York. Well, you
- 1:45Speaker 3: can buy the live stream and watch the live show
- 1:49Speaker 3: in your Australian home on your Australian electronic.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Very easy.
- 1:54Speaker 3: The same goes for let's say you're an Omaha and
- 1:56Speaker 3: you just can't be bothered to come to New York.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Well again, you buy the lives and you watch it
- 2:01Speaker 3: in your Omaha home.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Very simple.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Maybe you're my mom in Salt Lake City, Mom, you
- 2:06Speaker 3: can get the live stream. This is a thing you
- 2:08Speaker 3: can do, so it really you know, wherever you are
- 2:12Speaker 3: in the world, you can watch the show via internet
- 2:14Speaker 3: with this live stream, and you get it at veeps
- 2:17Speaker 3: dot events. Slash I said, no gifts, that's v e
- 2:21Speaker 3: e ps dot events. Slash I said, no gifts. We'll
- 2:25Speaker 3: put this link into the show notes. Analis, I'm advocating
- 2:29Speaker 3: for the listener right now. Will you put that in
- 2:31Speaker 3: the show notes as well as a link to the
- 2:34Speaker 3: tickets for the in person live show. Those tickets have
- 2:37Speaker 3: been marked as going fast, which is very stressful. So
- 2:40Speaker 3: if you want to see the show in person, you
- 2:42Speaker 3: definitely need to jump on that asap. But all that
- 2:46Speaker 3: information will be in the show notes. Or you can
- 2:48Speaker 3: always go to the Instagram. You're always safe at the
- 2:51Speaker 3: I said no gifts, Instagram. We provide all of this information.
- 2:55Speaker 3: There is there anything else I need to say? No,
- 2:57Speaker 3: you go to veeeps dot event slash. I said, no gift.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I'll see you at the show or I'll feel your
- 3:03Speaker 3: presence over the internet. Both are magical. But now it's
- 3:08Speaker 3: up to you. You've got to go buy the live
- 3:09Speaker 3: stream or get your ticket. You know, we're a team,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and I need you to put in some effort, an
- 3:14Speaker 3: honest effort, in order for us to feel like we're
- 3:17Speaker 3: still kind of a team. So do your part and
- 3:22Speaker 3: let's all enjoy the live show together. And now let's
- 3:26Speaker 3: get into the podcast. Welcome to I said, no gifts.
- 3:30Speaker 3: I'm Bridger Wineger. We are in the studio. We're not
- 3:35Speaker 3: in the backyard. We're here and what's going on. I
- 3:41Speaker 3: took two freeways here, shouldn't be on either of them.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I'm not the person who's built for freeway driving. I
- 3:49Speaker 3: use the restroom here at the studio, we are out
- 3:52Speaker 3: of paper towels. I don't know if this is the
- 3:55Speaker 3: correct channel to get that information out, but my hands
- 3:59Speaker 3: were not as dry as I would have liked exiting
- 4:02Speaker 3: the bathroom. So that's just a little piece of information
- 4:06Speaker 3: for you and for whoever is refilling the paper towels.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I think we should get into the podcast. I adore
- 4:14Speaker 3: today's guest. I just think he's wonderful. It's Reggie Wants Reggie.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Welcome to said no gifts, Thank you very much. It's
- 4:21Speaker 3: so nice to see you. And my hands are now
- 4:23Speaker 3: completely dry.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh that's so cool. Yeah they look dry.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Just take a peek and yeah, yeah, you're extremely dry.
- 4:32Speaker 3: The skin is falling off.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like, oh my gosh, I'm seeing bone. Now
- 4:36Speaker 4: that's a problem.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I parch absolutely, wow, parched. How's your day going so far?
- 4:44Speaker 2: It's going. Yeah, it was pretty successful. Yeah. I got
- 4:48Speaker 2: up at a decent hour.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I was supposed to feel a call about an upcoming colonoscopy.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, my first one, first one, first one.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Oh.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, how are you feeling about that?
- 4:59Speaker 4: Well?
- 5:00Speaker 2: I feel well. I know I've got to do it.
- 5:03Speaker 4: A thing of course, there's like the fear of like,
- 5:05Speaker 4: oh no, what if, like there's something wrong. But I
- 5:09Speaker 4: think in general, I'm I'm kind of just I know
- 5:11Speaker 4: it needs to be done, and so I have a
- 5:14Speaker 4: good game face on about it. And you missed the
- 5:16Speaker 4: call they they were supposed to call me and they
- 5:19Speaker 4: didn't call me. Oh no, it was really weird. And
- 5:21Speaker 4: then they send you a text that says like, if
- 5:22Speaker 4: you have any problems, contact us, and there's no number
- 5:25Speaker 4: in the text. So I'm like, what do I contact?
- 5:28Speaker 4: What am I contacted?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:31Speaker 3: Text back?
- 5:31Speaker 4: Maybe, I guess, Oh yeah, I guess I could try that.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I could try that.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Do you have it scheduled?
- 5:38Speaker 4: I don't know. Actually I think that that's what the
- 5:40Speaker 4: call was about. I think the call was about talking
- 5:42Speaker 4: about it, right and then uh, and then scheduling it.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I think, okay, well we could I mean, we could
- 5:47Speaker 3: just get it done here. We could get I can
- 5:48Speaker 3: hop online. It's so true. Do you have done that?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Oh? I forgot to put this on hang glider mode?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Had glider mode? The studio is haunted.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I know, I know. Okay, Okay, it's in a hang glider.
- 5:59Speaker 4: You've got Wow.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So a colonoscopy and I mean I don't know that
- 6:05Speaker 3: much about them. How long does it take?
- 6:07Speaker 2: You know, I don't know.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I have a feeling it probably takes probably like half
- 6:11Speaker 4: an hour or something like that, or maybe like forty minutes,
- 6:13Speaker 4: forty five minutes, I'm guessing, and they put you out completely. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 4: you do the fall, the propo fall. Oh yeah, so
- 6:20Speaker 4: take the fall. Yeah, and so yeah you propofol it
- 6:24Speaker 4: and then you know it's like, hey, guys, hey, what's
- 6:27Speaker 4: going on?
- 6:28Speaker 2: No, it's done? What like that vibe?
- 6:30Speaker 3: Do you like that feeling?
- 6:32Speaker 2: I've only had it once.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I had a had all of my intestines removed and
- 6:37Speaker 4: then replaced with just like really absorbent material.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Tells oh, yes, we all know that. Of course that
- 6:42Speaker 3: was kind of all over the news.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Yeah, telescopy, but I know I that's not true. Just
- 6:48Speaker 4: so the listeners out there don't do that. No, it
- 6:51Speaker 4: was for a lipoma. So it's like a like a
- 6:54Speaker 4: like fatty it's like a fatty deposit like a tumor
- 6:57Speaker 4: kind of but it's benign, right, It's just fatty tissue
- 7:00Speaker 4: that kind of like it just like grows and like
- 7:02Speaker 4: sometimes I can people get them in their forearms or
- 7:04Speaker 4: like even on their head and there's just like these
- 7:06Speaker 4: like kind of weird lumps in there. So I had
- 7:09Speaker 4: one under my shoulder blade, like under my right shoulder blade,
- 7:13Speaker 4: and it was when I would lay down on my back,
- 7:15Speaker 4: I could feel like a little rolling thing and and
- 7:17Speaker 4: it just felt gross and I didn't like it.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Kind of sounds nice, actually.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Well, I mean if it was even if I had
- 7:22Speaker 4: one on the other side, maybe that would be better.
- 7:25Speaker 4: But I didn't want to cause like spinal non alignment
- 7:27Speaker 4: or everybody putting un necessary pressure.
- 7:29Speaker 2: But yeah, so I went for the profile.
- 7:31Speaker 4: But the funny thing is like the table that they
- 7:33Speaker 4: put you on to operate on, it's like it looks
- 7:36Speaker 4: like a torture table, I mean, because your arms are
- 7:39Speaker 4: like this and they strap your arms down and then
- 7:42Speaker 4: above you is all those hexagonal operation lights you know
- 7:45Speaker 4: that you've seen in a million movies. Twilight Zone.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, oh my god, this is what
- 7:49Speaker 2: this is like, you know.
- 7:50Speaker 4: And then I just remember joking, as I always am
- 7:53Speaker 4: constantly joking up until I was out, and then when
- 7:55Speaker 4: I got up, I.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Started waking up.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I was just on a gurney off to the side,
- 8:00Speaker 4: and it had been like I don't know, like an
- 8:02Speaker 4: hour or something like that, but I was still joking,
- 8:04Speaker 4: so I acted like I was in a sleep, and
- 8:06Speaker 4: then I started beatboxing, and then.
- 8:08Speaker 2: They were like looking over at me.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Oh my god. I know. I was like, I was like,
- 8:12Speaker 4: isn't that weird someone wakes up and they're just beatboxing.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I don't know what I was thinking, anyways, weird experience.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Very very odd experience. It's like there's something kind of
- 8:21Speaker 3: mystical about it or something to me where you just
- 8:23Speaker 3: vanish from everything.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Yeah, it's well, it's just weird to have a missing
- 8:26Speaker 4: It's like, you know, alien abductions, like when people talk
- 8:28Speaker 4: about missing time.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Right, That's that's what it is.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly what's It's.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Like, there's no wasn't. And the weird thing about anesthetics
- 8:35Speaker 4: that I've heard that I've learned about. I had a
- 8:37Speaker 4: friend who was becoming an anesdesiologist. They said they don't
- 8:42Speaker 4: actually understand the mechanism why it makes people unconscious fully.
- 8:46Speaker 3: That feels like something somebody should get into.
- 8:48Speaker 4: I would, I agree, but it is a weird thing.
- 8:52Speaker 4: It just works right and they're able to find tune it.
- 8:56Speaker 4: But the actual mechanism. Why the brain just shut saw
- 9:00Speaker 4: for at least the cognitive elements, the conscious elements shut off.
- 9:03Speaker 2: They don't fully understand.
- 9:04Speaker 3: There are things about like with dreams and stuff where
- 9:06Speaker 3: we just haven't nailed it down, and it just feels like,
- 9:09Speaker 3: I guess we'll never know.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Well are we supposed to know?
- 9:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 9:12Speaker 3: Maybe we're not supposed to know. That's the last mystery
- 9:15Speaker 3: that we can have.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, let's just have one. Yeah, let's have one. Guys.
- 9:18Speaker 3: So when they when you had your shoulder operated on
- 9:21Speaker 3: the you this is I just I'm curious about the
- 9:23Speaker 3: mechanics of this. You lay down on your back, then
- 9:26Speaker 3: do they flip you over?
- 9:28Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, I guess they would. Yeah, I guess they would.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Is so weird, Like why they.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Wouldn't start you on?
- 9:34Speaker 3: I've imagined just get like a massage table where your
- 9:36Speaker 3: face is going through the little hole.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Interesting, Actually, good, good question. Now I'm going to contact
- 9:43Speaker 4: my doctor. What were you doing with I don't yes, Like,
- 9:45Speaker 4: what did you guys do? Exactly?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Like?
- 9:49Speaker 4: Uh, what she did? Actually the doctor she was very wacky.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Is the first person I went to that consulted about life.
- 9:54Speaker 4: One was like really dry and I just didn't like
- 9:56Speaker 4: his vibe. Right, this this woman that I went to see,
- 10:00Speaker 4: she was incredible, Like she was just like wacky zany
- 10:03Speaker 4: and just like, nah, this will be easy, blah blah
- 10:05Speaker 4: blah blah, you know, like nonchalant, was highly rated and
- 10:08Speaker 4: all that stuff. And and I just like after the operation,
- 10:12Speaker 4: she sent me she texted me a picture of the lipoma.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Was it large? It was large? But the weird thing
- 10:19Speaker 4: is like it's perfectly round. Oh yeah, it was like
- 10:22Speaker 4: it was like maybe about like that man Nature's miracle. Yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 4: about like that thing.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It was weird.
- 10:26Speaker 4: It's like a perfectly round like a coin, like a
- 10:29Speaker 4: thick click, a thick coin.
- 10:31Speaker 2: It was weird.
- 10:32Speaker 4: What color was it?
- 10:33Speaker 2: Just white? Because it's fat. It's fatty, Yeah, it's fatty tissue. Yeah. Wow.
- 10:36Speaker 3: I wonder what they did with it. Probably gave it
- 10:38Speaker 3: away a necklace or something.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Yeah, but definitely a necklace for sure. Medallion yeah, because
- 10:42Speaker 4: it's too medallion looking.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Or belt buckle.
- 10:45Speaker 4: It's not quite big enough a belt buckle, so I think, yeah, medallion, right,
- 10:47Speaker 4: Maybe an earring or a gauge.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Oh, an earring. Oh, a gauge would be fantastic. Once
- 10:52Speaker 3: gauges come back in that will. Somebody's gonna get.
- 10:54Speaker 2: That cannot wait.
- 10:55Speaker 3: So are you prone to growing these things or was
- 10:57Speaker 3: it just like a random occurrence.
- 10:59Speaker 4: I think you can just get one and then that's it.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I have no idea why I surprise. It was a
- 11:05Speaker 4: special little surprise, but I'm glad. I was trying to
- 11:07Speaker 4: go my entire life without ever being operated on, so
- 11:11Speaker 4: that was my first operation.
- 11:12Speaker 3: You haven't had your wisdom teeth out?
- 11:14Speaker 2: I have not? Okay, you well yeah you know? Yeah?
- 11:18Speaker 2: Well am I I don't know, no, I mean I
- 11:20Speaker 2: feel wise.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Of course, of course there's an aura.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely, you get your wisdom teeth out, you get
- 11:26Speaker 2: a little dumber.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Have your d Has your dentist said anything about them?
- 11:30Speaker 4: Yes, they're always like, well we should take out those
- 11:32Speaker 4: wisdom you can get in visi line. But they're also
- 11:34Speaker 4: just trying to upset.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean, God bless the dental industry, but
- 11:38Speaker 3: there is I've been to dentists before run like, oh,
- 11:40Speaker 3: none of this is necessary.
- 11:42Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 11:43Speaker 4: But they're just like, you might want to do you
- 11:44Speaker 4: know what, your teethill look better if you need and
- 11:45Speaker 4: we can do this proceding.
- 11:46Speaker 2: And you're like what what what?
- 11:47Speaker 4: And then then you look at the bill and you're like,
- 11:49Speaker 4: you've just tacked on nine hundred dollars or more.
- 11:53Speaker 3: My friends just telling me this morning. He was earlier
- 11:57Speaker 3: that Sari went to a new dentist and they said
- 11:58Speaker 3: you have to have five teeth out, and he's like, okay,
- 12:01Speaker 3: so and they gave him the bill it was like
- 12:02Speaker 3: four thousand dollars. It's like, well, okay, I can deal
- 12:05Speaker 3: with this. But then what they didn't tell him was
- 12:07Speaker 3: there's the other part where like his teeth had to
- 12:08Speaker 3: be replaced, which is now going to cost him seventeen
- 12:11Speaker 3: thousand dollars. Well, he had already agreed to this other prize,
- 12:15Speaker 3: so now he's stuck paying seventeen grand to get teeth
- 12:18Speaker 3: put like fake teeth put in this.
- 12:20Speaker 4: And wow, why, I mean, it seems like you could.
- 12:25Speaker 4: I guess maybe it's his fall for not reading the fine.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And I blame him. I blame him.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Well, I guess if you get your teeth out, you'd
- 12:31Speaker 4: expect something to go back in there, depending on the teeth.
- 12:34Speaker 3: Right, But it feels like these teeth were in the back,
- 12:37Speaker 3: So I guess I guess in my mind, I would
- 12:39Speaker 3: just assume like I guess you ever.
- 12:40Speaker 4: Meet him that, Yeah, but you need to you know,
- 12:42Speaker 4: chewing chew, Yeah, you got Chewing's good.
- 12:45Speaker 3: If someone gave me a seventeen thousand dollars bill, though,
- 12:47Speaker 3: I would just be sipping, Oh my god, just go
- 12:49Speaker 3: to Mexico, get me a stroke. Go to Turkey.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah, go to.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Turkey or Mexico and get the same procedure done for
- 12:55Speaker 4: three hundred.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Dollars exactly seventeen. Yeah, you've got to keep your eye
- 13:00Speaker 3: on the bill.
- 13:00Speaker 4: At the dentist, man, I'm telling you because I go
- 13:02Speaker 4: to one that's in I guess it's Beverly Hills, Ish
- 13:06Speaker 4: or whatever, and you know, it's like Dentists to the
- 13:08Speaker 4: Stars or whatever, and there I do like the way
- 13:11Speaker 4: it's all. It's all women that run the place, and
- 13:14Speaker 4: I really like that. And the dentist is she's really cool.
- 13:18Speaker 4: But you can tell that during like work meetings or whatever,
- 13:20Speaker 4: they're just about like how much up selling did you do?
- 13:23Speaker 4: How much upselling did you do? Because my girlfriend recently
- 13:25Speaker 4: went to my dentist because she needs to get a
- 13:28Speaker 4: tooth through place, and I was like, well, you might
- 13:29Speaker 4: as well go to you know, someone that's really great
- 13:32Speaker 4: at the cosmetic part of it, because it's something that
- 13:34Speaker 4: you deal with every day. Blah blah blah. And she
- 13:36Speaker 4: went there and she I went out to go get something.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I came back and go visited her in the chair
- 13:42Speaker 4: while the doctor was like away for a second.
- 13:43Speaker 2: She was just chilling there and she's like.
- 13:45Speaker 4: They want me to like get this and this and this,
- 13:48Speaker 4: and I just kind of declined because I just don't.
- 13:50Speaker 4: And I'm like, yeah, I forgot to tell you. They
- 13:52Speaker 4: are really hardcore on up selling.
- 13:54Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 13:55Speaker 3: It's very mechanic energy.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it is.
- 13:57Speaker 3: It really is where you're like, oh, I don't know
- 13:59Speaker 3: what's happening, and you may be completely correct and this
- 14:02Speaker 3: may ruin my life, but I also don't want to
- 14:04Speaker 3: spend any more money, So just give me the bare minimum. Yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 3: just change my oil.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Yeah, just just do that. You have to.
- 14:09Speaker 4: You have to hold the line. Yeah, I'm just here
- 14:11Speaker 4: to do this. That's really nice. I'm just here to
- 14:14Speaker 4: do it the whole time. And they're like, okay, fine,
- 14:16Speaker 4: just I guess I'll just do this. Yeah, it's okay
- 14:19Speaker 4: to just do that, guys.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Right, hold the line until your car's on fire or
- 14:22Speaker 3: your mouth is bleeding, ye, then go back.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah totally.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I mean if you notice you don't stop so well
- 14:26Speaker 4: after refusing getting your great beds changed, Like that's when
- 14:29Speaker 4: you change.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Them, right exactly. Do you know? What I do love
- 14:36Speaker 3: about a not so much mechanic, but like a tire
- 14:39Speaker 3: place is just being able to go in and get
- 14:40Speaker 3: your tires filled for free. Have you ever done this? Oh,
- 14:42Speaker 3: they can just fill up your air for free. It
- 14:45Speaker 3: feels like the people at these tire places live to
- 14:47Speaker 3: do this. They are always so unbelievably friendly about just
- 14:50Speaker 3: filling up your tires. You know.
- 14:52Speaker 2: That's that's weird. That's a dream of mine.
- 14:54Speaker 4: I wanted to start a service that would just fill
- 14:57Speaker 4: tires and they just be like a you know, you
- 14:59Speaker 4: can pull off the road and they feel your tires
- 15:01Speaker 4: and then you just leave. It's crazy, you know what
- 15:03Speaker 4: I mean? Because like even though I have like, you know,
- 15:06Speaker 4: I have a compressor. It's in my car, you know,
- 15:08Speaker 4: and and it's battery powered and it works fine, but
- 15:10Speaker 4: you can only do one tire at a time, right,
- 15:13Speaker 4: and it's like and.
- 15:14Speaker 2: It's pretty slow.
- 15:15Speaker 4: And so these these you know, the tire places, they
- 15:18Speaker 4: have these double compressor or whatever things, and there's like
- 15:21Speaker 4: you know and you're done and you're done. You know,
- 15:24Speaker 4: I want to I want to have that Formula one
- 15:26Speaker 4: feeling like you.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Go into the pis like go go go work like.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I want that you pull it after going like thirty
- 15:36Speaker 3: five miles the hour slowly.
- 15:38Speaker 2: D Yeah, now I'm stopping, do it guys.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I feel like people would be into that novelty. That
- 15:45Speaker 3: really does feel like a business that could take off.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Yeah, Because I mean there's two things that people do
- 15:51Speaker 4: in LA that I noticed those pet pup of mind.
- 15:53Speaker 4: It's like, one, tire pressure is always off, which affects
- 15:56Speaker 4: your fuel economy and the way the car handles and
- 15:58Speaker 4: the way rides.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Secondly, driving position.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I see so many people who are shorter who are
- 16:06Speaker 4: looking up when they're driving, and I'm like, what are
- 16:09Speaker 4: you doing. That's a modern car just raised the sea level.
- 16:12Speaker 4: It's so weird to me that people just like they
- 16:14Speaker 4: have these weird driving positions and they just they're like,
- 16:16Speaker 4: that's good.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I wonder if, with speaking as a short person, if
- 16:20Speaker 3: there's like an insecurity thing where some short people are
- 16:22Speaker 3: getting in the car and they're like, I'm not lifting
- 16:23Speaker 3: the seat, I'm not being aided by the seat. I'm
- 16:25Speaker 3: tall enough.
- 16:27Speaker 4: God, I hope not. I really, I hope not. I
- 16:29Speaker 4: think you could be right in some cases.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I mean, I will speak for the short community. A
- 16:33Speaker 3: lot of more bad, bad shorties.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So the stereotype.
- 16:40Speaker 2: It is true.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Meanwhile, I'm riding as high as possible. I am flying
- 16:44Speaker 3: in my seat. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, as I should be.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I mean you should be.
- 16:48Speaker 4: I mean it's like, you know, feel like feel like
- 16:50Speaker 4: you're a part of the like you are the machine
- 16:53Speaker 4: and I've become the machine.
- 16:55Speaker 3: This is kind of a mech that I'm yeah, exactly
- 16:57Speaker 3: rating that guy.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Four worled mech percent.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I should have a bird bird's eye view at all times.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I think so. And I think you know, and
- 17:05Speaker 4: people be like, oh, who's that who's that tall? And
- 17:07Speaker 4: you know, like you might as well get that vibe too.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, then throw people off. When I step out of
- 17:12Speaker 3: the car, they're like, oh no, it's like, oh.
- 17:14Speaker 4: We're gonna get not as tall as I thought. I
- 17:17Speaker 4: think that that's going to be more of the reaction.
- 17:19Speaker 4: I don't think they're gonna say that persons short. They're
- 17:23Speaker 4: just gonna be like, oh, just not quite as tall
- 17:24Speaker 4: as I thought.
- 17:27Speaker 3: It's somewhere in between surprise and disupport. It's kind of
- 17:30Speaker 3: about nothing. It doesn't alter their day or anything.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Okay, and then moving on. I better get that liquorice
- 17:35Speaker 2: or whatever.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Someone on the wind the licorice kind of watching me
- 17:41Speaker 3: the entire time. It's callowing me to get out of
- 17:44Speaker 3: the car. When was the last time you had licorice?
- 17:47Speaker 2: Chris, I don't know.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I don't I want to know.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I don't like.
- 17:51Speaker 3: I don't like liquorice, none of them.
- 17:53Speaker 2: We're going to be well.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Red vines is not really licorice, right, and there's I know,
- 17:59Speaker 4: but they call it, well do they it?
- 18:01Speaker 2: Maybe they don't.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Maybe they call it like licorice product.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Licorice inspired, Yeah, liquorish ness.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Uh, they're liquorice, nois.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I don't know, I mean no, last time I had
- 18:14Speaker 4: liquorice probably a long time ago, A long time because
- 18:16Speaker 4: I'm not a treacle. I love, No, just kidding, I
- 18:20Speaker 4: don't know. I don't know what any of that is liquorice.
- 18:23Speaker 3: I haven't anymal But you're not so you're but you
- 18:25Speaker 3: are counting red Vines as a non liquorice thing that
- 18:27Speaker 3: you may have more recently.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I don't think I've had a red vine recently either.
- 18:32Speaker 3: I think redvine's disgusting.
- 18:33Speaker 2: They are disgusting.
- 18:34Speaker 4: As a kid, they taste good, I think because I
- 18:36Speaker 4: remember having them as a kid and I was like, oh,
- 18:39Speaker 4: these tastes weird, and you know how like those addictive
- 18:41Speaker 4: products like diet coke or something like that.
- 18:43Speaker 2: It tastes like shit.
- 18:44Speaker 4: But then like people are still like doing it around you,
- 18:47Speaker 4: and you're like, ah, maybe I'll give another chance, and
- 18:48Speaker 4: then like it hooks then get into you. Yeah, and
- 18:51Speaker 4: then it's like, okay, no, this is delicious. Like no,
- 18:53Speaker 4: like Starbucks coffee. It's like Starbucks coffee. It tastes like shit.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Oh it's a bad drink.
- 18:57Speaker 2: It's a terrible drink. But people are like, no, I
- 18:59Speaker 2: love it. I just love it. I'm like, I can't
- 19:01Speaker 2: be friends with you.
- 19:03Speaker 4: I think.
- 19:04Speaker 3: I mean, the real uh deal breaker for me with
- 19:06Speaker 3: a redvine is how soft it is?
- 19:08Speaker 4: You like you'd rather be like I like it, just
- 19:13Speaker 4: absolutely no.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I like, you know, like a twizzler is kind of hard.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I prefer that texture to like the weird, like your
- 19:23Speaker 3: teeth just sinking. To weird. What is that texture even interesting?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that is true. I'd never even thought about.
- 19:30Speaker 3: It because to the finger it's not that soft, but
- 19:32Speaker 3: once it gets in your mouth, it's just dissolving.
- 19:34Speaker 4: And I like that, you know, you have it's nice
- 19:36Speaker 4: to have a little bit of work. Yeah, with certain
- 19:39Speaker 4: foods a little bit right, Yeah, because you already know
- 19:42Speaker 4: it's like non nutritional food, but you might as well
- 19:46Speaker 4: get some mastication energy good for your muscles and whatever.
- 19:50Speaker 3: That's a thing I feel like online where like I
- 19:53Speaker 3: read that like young like teen boys are chewing gum
- 19:56Speaker 3: a lot in order to like make their jaws better looking.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that looks maxing whatever thing that they're doing.
- 20:02Speaker 3: What's this look?
- 20:03Speaker 4: I think it's called looks maxing. It's it's a it's
- 20:07Speaker 4: a home like like a beauty trend for I think
- 20:11Speaker 4: it's for kind of more towards the masculinish side or
- 20:15Speaker 4: whatever like things where it's mainly like young boys going on.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm look max looks.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Looks maxing maximizing your low Yeah, and like working on
- 20:25Speaker 4: the jaw line with the mastication they or like there's
- 20:27Speaker 4: like a tool like this rubber puck thing that you
- 20:29Speaker 4: chew on. Oh yes, contour lines and like subtle accentuation.
- 20:32Speaker 3: There's no way that's working. I don't imagine.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I don't people.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I don't know if people swear it is they chew
- 20:39Speaker 4: on stuff just to give them that nice, firm jaw.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 20:42Speaker 4: But like we're all chewing constantly, I know, But but
- 20:45Speaker 4: are we chewing the work out?
- 20:48Speaker 3: You know?
- 20:48Speaker 4: It's like I'm lifting boxes all day or I'm lifting
- 20:51Speaker 4: my keys that I've dropped on the floor for the
- 20:53Speaker 4: fifth time.
- 20:54Speaker 2: In one day. But am I lifting two hundred pounds?
- 20:57Speaker 4: Right? No?
- 20:58Speaker 3: So got to get the hockey puck? Yes, where do
- 21:04Speaker 3: you even buy that? Is that like an Amazon product?
- 21:07Speaker 4: I think I guarantee you if you did an Amazon
- 21:09Speaker 4: search for like, why don't you call it like jawline
- 21:14Speaker 4: Improvement max or maximizer, Like I guarantee there'll be a
- 21:19Speaker 4: million products.
- 21:19Speaker 3: This feels I mean, speaking of up selling it the dentists.
- 21:21Speaker 3: That feels like a product they should be selling at
- 21:23Speaker 3: the front desk.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you mean of the dentist. Yeah, yeah, you're right, Yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 4: you're right. Well, let's put it this way. I have
- 21:30Speaker 4: a I have a mouth guard that's a sleep guard.
- 21:33Speaker 4: That's like to help sleep apnea.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Oh sure, sure.
- 21:37Speaker 4: And it's a custom scan of your mouth, you know,
- 21:39Speaker 4: so it's very very precise. However, it really kind of
- 21:43Speaker 4: cranks on your teeth. So in the morning when I
- 21:45Speaker 4: get up the next day, it's just like if I
- 21:47Speaker 4: bite down on something, it feels like my teeth are loose.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Oh and I'm not really liking that vibe. But and
- 21:54Speaker 4: I told my dentist. They're like, no, you just need
- 21:56Speaker 4: to get used to it. And I'm like, is that true?
- 21:57Speaker 4: Or am I fucking up my teeth and you guys
- 22:00Speaker 4: wanting me to fuck up my.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Oh interesting, they're setting a trap.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna have to go down an AI worm hole.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Let a robot tell you about the dentist.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I let them my robot tell me about everything. Today,
- 22:12Speaker 4: I was like, I was having trouble with my camp
- 22:13Speaker 4: with my Polaroid, and I just was like having a
- 22:15Speaker 4: casual conversation with it. It's like, oh, no, I meant
- 22:18Speaker 4: to say this model. It's like, oh my bad, No, no,
- 22:21Speaker 4: hold down the flash button for two seconds. You'll see
- 22:23Speaker 4: the line uppear b.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I was like, this is a are you using just
- 22:27Speaker 2: GPT four? Oh? Oh oh. Four oh, four, oh is
- 22:30Speaker 2: the one?
- 22:31Speaker 4: Is that one you have to sign up for? I
- 22:34Speaker 4: think you do have to sign up for it. Maybe
- 22:37Speaker 4: I'm not totally sure, but I know I'm subscribed to
- 22:39Speaker 4: chat GPT oh, just because I wanted to figure out.
- 22:42Speaker 2: But four, I was like insane.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Anytime, like my girlfriend or a friend will have questions
- 22:47Speaker 4: and they're always like looking in manuals or they're doing
- 22:49Speaker 4: a Google search, and then I just go to the
- 22:51Speaker 4: AI and I immediately get the answer.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Wow, and you trust it every time.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I mean sometimes you have to like wonder and that
- 22:57Speaker 4: I'll just cross reference with a web search or I'll
- 23:01Speaker 4: rephrase the question to the AI and see if it
- 23:03Speaker 4: yields the that's a great right to write.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yeah, just test the waters.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Yeah, but it, I mean, it's incredibly accurate for things.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's it's really insane.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And it's on your phone.
- 23:13Speaker 2: It's just on the phone. Yeah. Wow, it's just a
- 23:15Speaker 2: GPT app.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I feel ancient talking about this. I've used the text
- 23:20Speaker 3: one basically is a thesaurus.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure to
- 23:24Speaker 4: get it on my phone. Interesting, Yeah, it's really nice
- 23:27Speaker 4: on the phone. Also, Apple Intelligence is coming out. Oh,
- 23:30Speaker 4: in a couple of weeks, right, Yeah, either a couple
- 23:32Speaker 4: of weeks. I think they will launch it then, or
- 23:35Speaker 4: maybe I think that they are going to launch it then,
- 23:37Speaker 4: or it'll be a couple months after that. Yeah, okay,
- 23:39Speaker 4: because they've been I have the developer, Oh beta, how's
- 23:44Speaker 4: it going?
- 23:44Speaker 2: I like it?
- 23:45Speaker 4: I mean it's I mean, I don't know. They say
- 23:47Speaker 4: that series better on it. I don't know if I've
- 23:50Speaker 4: noticed that, because I don't really use Siri a ton,
- 23:53Speaker 4: but supposedly it's better and it understands contexts and nuance
- 23:57Speaker 4: and these types of things, which you would hope at
- 24:00Speaker 4: this point, because man, I tell you it's searching and
- 24:03Speaker 4: using serious like I come so close to throwing my
- 24:07Speaker 4: frone phone every.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Day, completely worthless, sectivity.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Completely worthless. But you fall for it. Every time. You're like, not,
- 24:13Speaker 2: maybe it's better.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Maybe she's changed.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Nope, not at all. She has not changed. Not a bit.
- 24:18Speaker 3: One thing that changed that I noticed. There was a
- 24:20Speaker 3: short period where they were trying where I'd be like,
- 24:22Speaker 3: I would say, hey, Siri, I'm trying not to activate
- 24:25Speaker 3: my phone here, and then I'd be like text whoever,
- 24:28Speaker 3: and then I would say, would you like me to
- 24:31Speaker 3: message the person because it was like trying to keep
- 24:33Speaker 3: it within the brand, and I was like, what, you
- 24:35Speaker 3: don't try to.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Force me to use your vocabulary.
- 24:37Speaker 3: You know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 24:39Speaker 2: It's terrible.
- 24:40Speaker 3: So that was just another infuriating thing to deal with.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I mean, speaking of infuriating things to deal with. Yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 3: I was really looking forward to having your here on
- 24:48Speaker 3: the podcast.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Yeaday.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I thought, Regg, you'll come by, we'll have a nice chat.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Who knows what we'll talk about, but it'll it'll end
- 24:56Speaker 3: and everything will be fine. So I was a little surprised.
- 24:59Speaker 3: The podcast is a called I said no gifts, and
- 25:02Speaker 3: you came kind of wandering into the studio holding what's
- 25:06Speaker 3: clearly a gift for me. Is there any explanation for this?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Well, in all fairness, this was intended as a gift
- 25:16Speaker 4: for you before you started this podcast. Oh okay, yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 4: and so I feel like it's kind of grandfathered. So
- 25:23Speaker 4: I guess this is okay, right, because I just didn't
- 25:26Speaker 4: get the time to get it to you.
- 25:28Speaker 3: This makes perfect sense.
- 25:29Speaker 4: And it wasn't finished at the time, but my intention
- 25:32Speaker 4: was there before the podcast, so well.
- 25:34Speaker 3: The podcast launched March twelfth, twenty twenty, and so obviously
- 25:38Speaker 3: like the pandemic got in the way.
- 25:40Speaker 2: You're right, I guess that is what it was.
- 25:41Speaker 3: You were all hold up and you weren't able to stop.
- 25:44Speaker 4: By and they couldn't manufacture it. So yeah, yeah, that's
- 25:48Speaker 4: totally true. I just I always forget about the pandemic.
- 25:50Speaker 3: But yeah, well should I open it here on the podcast?
- 25:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, give it it, give it, give it a whirl.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Okay, here we go.
- 26:00Speaker 3: It's a cute little like white bag. It's almost like
- 26:03Speaker 3: a piece of China. Yes, you know, blue print on it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: It is, well, it doesn't feel like China.
- 26:09Speaker 3: But oh that's a nice crispy crunch m.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah that's nice. Oh good.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Oh I actually, okay, so this is I have absolutely
- 26:20Speaker 3: no Oh so it's Huckleberry Watts something cannabis and fuse.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Are these gummies?
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh incredible?
- 26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, tell me why you brought these?
- 26:29Speaker 4: I brought it because I was thinking of a gift
- 26:31Speaker 4: that I was like, well, I haven't been I haven't
- 26:33Speaker 4: given I was given an extra box of them, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 4: and I just haven't been giving them out. And I
- 26:38Speaker 4: was like, well that counts as a gift and it's
- 26:40Speaker 4: my you know, and it's something I made and it's
- 26:43Speaker 4: the first time I've gotten to make something like that,
- 26:45Speaker 4: and I like it, and I think that you'd like
- 26:46Speaker 4: it if, I mean, if your brand of gummies, this
- 26:48Speaker 4: is my brand of gummies.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Unbelievable.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think this is like the last one too.
- 26:53Speaker 3: When did you start making these?
- 26:54Speaker 2: I think it was last year?
- 26:55Speaker 4: Oh yeah, like me or not even that long ago,
- 26:57Speaker 4: like maybe six months ago, seven months ago that came out.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Yeah, how did did this all come about?
- 27:03Speaker 4: Well, so Rose Delights is the company that makes this,
- 27:09Speaker 4: and they I was a fan of theirs, and they
- 27:12Speaker 4: reached out and asked about a collaboration and I was like, yeah, sure,
- 27:15Speaker 4: that'd be great. And I'm from Montana, so our state
- 27:19Speaker 4: is known for huckleberries.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Oh, I wasn't aware of this.
- 27:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it's very huckleberry centric and so I was like,
- 27:25Speaker 4: I want to make a huckleberry flavored rose to Light.
- 27:28Speaker 4: I think that would be really good. And so yeah,
- 27:30Speaker 4: we just went in on that and I was trying
- 27:32Speaker 4: to make it like lower sugar. It turns out they couldn't.
- 27:34Speaker 4: But it's only like three grams of sugar per.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Right, unless you're eating a handful of these, which you probably.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Should should not do that because they're each ten milligrams.
- 27:42Speaker 4: So I will say that. So people generally half it
- 27:44Speaker 4: or a little quarter it. I eat a whole one
- 27:47Speaker 4: because I just love it. Yeah, but people that I
- 27:50Speaker 4: know who are sensitivec have taken one whole one, which
- 27:54Speaker 4: I'm very surprised about.
- 27:55Speaker 2: H and they reported that they've had great times.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like with gummies, people are all over
- 28:01Speaker 3: the map as far as their reaction to it. Totally,
- 28:03Speaker 3: no one I think you do. That's why you need
- 28:05Speaker 3: to start half just in case, do half.
- 28:07Speaker 4: If you're feeling good, then try a little bit more
- 28:09Speaker 4: and then you're like, okay, this is my dose.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Right, that's the best way.
- 28:12Speaker 3: And with the development of this where you like trying
- 28:15Speaker 3: different gummies, they were sending you new flavors or where
- 28:17Speaker 3: they're just like, this is as close as we can
- 28:19Speaker 3: get to Huckleberry.
- 28:20Speaker 4: Deal with it. I think they sent me maybe or no,
- 28:25Speaker 4: actually I don't think that they sent me any of
- 28:27Speaker 4: the test patches.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I don't think so.
- 28:30Speaker 4: But that's okay because when I made this video for it,
- 28:33Speaker 4: you can check it in some my Instagram, like if
- 28:35Speaker 4: you can scroll way back you'll see like that. I
- 28:37Speaker 4: guess it's an ad but not really. It's it's me
- 28:39Speaker 4: performing and just riffing on huckleberries.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Okay, sure.
- 28:43Speaker 4: And it's just it's too long, which I love about it.
- 28:47Speaker 2: It just keeps going and going.
- 28:49Speaker 3: My sweet spot is something. It just goes too fast.
- 28:51Speaker 4: It's just like you're like, okay, that feels okay, No
- 28:53Speaker 4: a little bit more but no, wow.
- 28:56Speaker 2: No, okay, I give up. I give up. I'm just
- 28:58Speaker 2: gonna chill now.
- 28:59Speaker 4: But yeah, yeah, anyways, it was fun to make the
- 29:02Speaker 4: video and it was really it was just absurd, but
- 29:06Speaker 4: the whole idea of thinking of the product, having it made,
- 29:10Speaker 4: then doing this like ridiculous video where they didn't because
- 29:13Speaker 4: the guys were like cool, they just let me do
- 29:15Speaker 4: my thing.
- 29:15Speaker 2: There was no agenda. They're like, just do what you do.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I did that, and they just handled the lighting and
- 29:21Speaker 4: had like cool camera and they were like such cool people,
- 29:24Speaker 4: like the whole Rose Delight's crew.
- 29:25Speaker 2: They're very cool, and so I trusted them on it.
- 29:29Speaker 4: And then when they finally came and I got like
- 29:31Speaker 4: a I guess a sample, but I think it would
- 29:34Speaker 4: have been too late to change anything at that point.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I was like, this is really good, this real delicious.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Well, I mean you trusted the brand before.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Yes, so why not now? But yeah, it was fun
- 29:43Speaker 4: and I've never done that before. And I just love
- 29:45Speaker 4: the idea of like, oh, I have something and then
- 29:48Speaker 4: having a thing, you know, a physical object right available
- 29:51Speaker 4: in the world.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Cool.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Now, what is probably the only huckleberry flavored gummy?
- 29:55Speaker 2: Probably? Actually that's good to think about it.
- 29:58Speaker 3: What does a huckleberry taste like? I don't even I
- 30:00Speaker 3: feel like you can't buy them at grocery stores.
- 30:02Speaker 4: They they're seasonal. Okay, you can buy things that are
- 30:05Speaker 4: huckleberry flavored, whether they use huckleberries or if it's synthetic
- 30:09Speaker 4: thing whatever. They taste kind of like a more candy
- 30:13Speaker 4: natural version of a blueberry. Oh. Interesting, So they're a
- 30:17Speaker 4: little perfume okay, Like there's like kind of a floweriness
- 30:21Speaker 4: to the sweetness. It's a really beautiful sweet flavor.
- 30:24Speaker 3: And texturally, is it more like a raspberry?
- 30:27Speaker 2: No, it's like a blueberry. They look like blueberry.
- 30:29Speaker 4: I've got to get my eyes on this.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, check them out.
- 30:31Speaker 3: I apparently just don't have any idea what a huckleberry is.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they're so good and they grow in other places
- 30:36Speaker 4: besides Montana, but Montana's really like gone deep into it.
- 30:39Speaker 4: So whenever you go into Montana stores, it's like huckleberry chocolate,
- 30:43Speaker 4: huckleberry jam, huckleberry syrup, huckleberry whatever.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Really riding this thing. Yeah yeah, yeah, it looks almost
- 30:48Speaker 3: exactly like a blueberry. I I could not conceptualize what
- 30:51Speaker 3: it looked like. I assume kind of like a BlackBerry.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I went when I was I'm from Montana, and
- 30:58Speaker 4: I spent some time with my friend John. We had
- 31:00Speaker 4: like a little high school reunion. And my friend John,
- 31:03Speaker 4: growing up, his grandmother had a cabin or at home
- 31:08Speaker 4: on this resort like called Lake five on the edge
- 31:11Speaker 4: of West Glacier National Park.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Okay, it's called Lake five.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Lake five, Yeah, the number, yeah lake.
- 31:17Speaker 4: They were like nah, fuck this, They're like this has
- 31:20Speaker 4: to be turned in now.
- 31:21Speaker 2: It's like that the what lake is it?
- 31:25Speaker 4: It's the sixth, No, the fifth, Okay, fine, Lake five, done,
- 31:29Speaker 4: hold it up.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Just give it to him. I don't get tired of
- 31:31Speaker 2: him bitching.
- 31:32Speaker 4: That was it, you know, because that's what it was
- 31:34Speaker 4: like in the eighteen hundreds. But yeah, it was just
- 31:38Speaker 4: like it's just like this like little resort lake, but
- 31:41Speaker 4: homesteaders in the early years established property there. So there's
- 31:44Speaker 4: like two families, the ride Hours and the Bennetts. Oh,
- 31:47Speaker 4: they're right next to each other, and they knew each
- 31:49Speaker 4: other and they were friendly, but there have been like
- 31:50Speaker 4: rivalries from their children. So and one is a like
- 31:55Speaker 4: a resort that you can like stay at and like.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
- 31:58Speaker 4: And then the ride now is to have private property.
- 32:00Speaker 4: So it's just so interesting their houses and then my
- 32:03Speaker 4: friend's uncle's house, which is closer to the like. Anyways,
- 32:06Speaker 4: we used to go there and it was awesome. And
- 32:09Speaker 4: one summer when we had a reunion, we went Mount
- 32:11Speaker 4: Mountain biking on mushrooms and we came up to the
- 32:13Speaker 4: top of one are the trails that John makes. He
- 32:16Speaker 4: makes these trails, and we stopped these like huggleberries and
- 32:19Speaker 4: we just like ditched the bikes and like just started
- 32:21Speaker 4: picking these things off the bush and just eating them.
- 32:24Speaker 2: And they were so good.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Oh that sounds good. To find a wild berry in
- 32:27Speaker 3: any situation is really a magical thing. I would say,
- 32:30Speaker 3: it's so great, especially on mushrooms, and.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Totally you're like, oh, I got everything is in your
- 32:35Speaker 4: connecting and nature is the providence of whatever.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I just saw that what's her name, Alicia Silverstone was
- 32:43Speaker 3: somewhere live streaming herself and she found a berry in
- 32:45Speaker 3: a bush, and I think London was like asking her
- 32:47Speaker 3: listeners should I eat this?
- 32:49Speaker 4: Then ate the berry?
- 32:50Speaker 3: And then it turned out of there was like a
- 32:51Speaker 3: wildly poisonous berry. But it seems like she like as
- 32:55Speaker 3: far as like believing in science and the sort of thing.
- 32:57Speaker 3: She's kind of on the edge. I believe, so it's
- 33:00Speaker 3: it felt like in line with what she's doing, But
- 33:03Speaker 3: I don't. I didn't follow up with whether she died
- 33:05Speaker 3: or not.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Yeah, she probably did.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think we should assume she did.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I think she did. You're right, we should assume that
- 33:14Speaker 4: she did.
- 33:14Speaker 2: You're right.
- 33:15Speaker 4: I always forget that. That's how assumptions were when it
- 33:18Speaker 4: comes to death.
- 33:19Speaker 3: It's rounding up.
- 33:20Speaker 2: It is, it's surrounding up. Yes, that's right, that is true.
- 33:24Speaker 3: She's dead. Our hearts go out to her family, Yes,
- 33:27Speaker 3: all of our hearts do, right. But I guess I
- 33:31Speaker 3: guess the difference here is that if you find a
- 33:33Speaker 3: berry in the city, you probably shouldn't be eating a
- 33:35Speaker 3: berry in the city.
- 33:36Speaker 4: No city berry is not not advice unless you absolutely know,
- 33:41Speaker 4: if you're like a plant person and you really know
- 33:45Speaker 4: and you've like read I'm sure there's an author you
- 33:49Speaker 4: know that has written about berries in the city. You know,
- 33:52Speaker 4: it's just like like you're my favorite barrier or whatever,
- 33:54Speaker 4: and someone really knows. It's like printed in nineteen sixty
- 33:57Speaker 4: three or something, and they're just using that as their guy, like, you.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Know, this color berry on this type of tree is safety.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Scavenger's Guide to Berries in the City.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Yes, urban berries.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Do you know what I would love to do is
- 34:11Speaker 3: go into a cranberry bog Ooh what's have you ever
- 34:14Speaker 3: seen those the commercials, like the cranberry juice commercial commercials
- 34:17Speaker 3: where they're standing in like a it's like a lake
- 34:19Speaker 3: and they're just I don't understand and they're floating right,
- 34:22Speaker 3: I don't understand. Why isn't that don't they do they
- 34:25Speaker 3: do that to wash.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Them or something like that was the Yeah, you're right,
- 34:29Speaker 4: I don't know, grow there. Maybe that's just a commercial thing,
- 34:33Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like like that's a that's
- 34:35Speaker 4: a trope and they're like, no, people associate cranberries too,
- 34:38Speaker 4: like just a large surface area of floating berries.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Like a flowing fluid. Yeah, yeah, I don't understand. They
- 34:48Speaker 3: must they must have something to do with them growing.
- 34:50Speaker 4: Your Yeah, I would hope either that or it's just like, hey,
- 34:54Speaker 4: these things float, let's just put them on water.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I mean it.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Could be that because we are talking about commer.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, so the world of commercials, anything can happen.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Yeah, And then I feel responsible, right, it's like, we
- 35:05Speaker 4: don't need to educate people, just sell this product.
- 35:09Speaker 3: But I mean I feel like if those are just
- 35:11Speaker 3: naturally occurring, why haven't I been in one already, just
- 35:14Speaker 3: kind of wading through this lake of berries.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I think it's probably maybe a hygiene thing.
- 35:20Speaker 4: I would imagine, Oh, interesting, like one it probably like
- 35:24Speaker 4: one one did three people Max can like you know,
- 35:27Speaker 4: cruise through there before it gets contamplated.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Yeah, they can't chlorinate the fields or the water.
- 35:31Speaker 5: Go to Wisconsin, Massachusetts and New Jersey. You can go
- 35:34Speaker 5: to keep cod What for a cranberry bog.
- 35:37Speaker 3: And what what's happening?
- 35:38Speaker 2: They grow?
- 35:39Speaker 5: They grow in bogs like marshy lands. Yeah, acidic bogs
- 35:43Speaker 5: from the bottom of the land out.
- 35:45Speaker 2: So they are educating people. Wow, wow, Well.
- 35:48Speaker 3: They're leaving, they're letting people educate themselves, presenting this mystery,
- 35:53Speaker 3: saying you figure it out.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I think it's for those people that
- 35:56Speaker 4: even notice it. I think like some people are like, yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 4: that's cool cranberry stuff, you know, and that's it. And
- 36:01Speaker 4: then some people are like, wait a minute, but that
- 36:04Speaker 4: would be kind of cool to like wade in something.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Wait a minute, wonder if that's true. And then they
- 36:08Speaker 4: look and they're like, oh shit, they grow so that's cool.
- 36:11Speaker 4: But when I hear a bog, I'm thinking of like
- 36:13Speaker 4: maybe because it has ag in it, like fog, you know,
- 36:16Speaker 4: Like I'm thinking like it's foggy, and.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Then there's like a creature and there's.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Like caling, you know, and it's like what was that?
- 36:31Speaker 2: My god? So is it like that?
- 36:34Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. There's like I imagine one of those trees
- 36:38Speaker 3: with glowing eyes and the branches for arms and wrap around.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Of course, that's the first thing that you see. That's
- 36:44Speaker 4: the very very as soon as you go into a
- 36:45Speaker 4: bog like this, it's just immediately there that that tree
- 36:48Speaker 4: with glowing eyes and branches that look like arms and
- 36:50Speaker 4: branch yeah whatever.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Yeah, bog is not something you usually associate with like
- 36:54Speaker 3: the sun shining, or like cranberry juice. You are imagining potion.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm thinking potions. I'm thinking like something mysterious, foreboating, dangerous, cauldrons, cauldrons, Yeah, yeah, interesting, Yeah.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I don't know bayways. Yeah. So now I'm not gonna
- 37:12Speaker 2: eat cranberries because that's gross.
- 37:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Who would have thought? Interesting? I guess you just come
- 37:17Speaker 3: upon these just giant lakes of red berries floating, and
- 37:20Speaker 3: you say, let's turn this into a juice factory.
- 37:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess so, yeah, because I imagine it just looks
- 37:24Speaker 4: like a cluster of like dark trees in the distance,
- 37:27Speaker 4: and then you get close to it and you see
- 37:29Speaker 4: kind of a trail that's going between like two really
- 37:31Speaker 4: dark trees, and you're like, what is this and you
- 37:33Speaker 4: like kind of go down I guess like at least
- 37:35Speaker 4: probably sixty feet, and then then boom, You're like, oh shit,
- 37:39Speaker 4: and there's like rays of sun coming through some of
- 37:41Speaker 4: the branches, and you just see this red you know,
- 37:43Speaker 4: berry floating liquid mass.
- 37:46Speaker 3: You've left like a trail of bread crumbs back to
- 37:48Speaker 3: of course, back to the road.
- 37:50Speaker 2: We sixty feet.
- 37:51Speaker 4: I mean, you know how memory works, It's like every
- 37:53Speaker 4: foot it's like diminishing your memory of where you started.
- 37:57Speaker 3: After ten feet, you have no idea you were five seconds.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Success, So sure ten feet is all it takes. So
- 38:02Speaker 4: that's yeah, ten.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Feet is all it takes. Is the billboard let people.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Could you, hey, could you come here for a second?
- 38:10Speaker 4: Bring that water over your thanks a lot, Hey could
- 38:12Speaker 4: you go back to where you were?
- 38:13Speaker 2: What?
- 38:14Speaker 4: Where was?
- 38:15Speaker 2: I don't know. It's like seep, I told you.
- 38:20Speaker 4: That's why I always stop at nine feet pause because
- 38:23Speaker 4: it recess after two seconds and.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Then back to a little bit too. High school reunions.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Do you go to every high school reunion?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Yes? No, No, I've not been to one. I feel
- 38:35Speaker 2: bad about.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Oh so this was just like a reunion with the
- 38:38Speaker 3: high school.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yes, like high school like like friend group.
- 38:42Speaker 3: This makes more sense. Yeah, yeah, it felt out of
- 38:45Speaker 3: character that you were like headed back to the high
- 38:47Speaker 3: school reunion.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Like there's like four hundred kids or kids they're adults now,
- 38:51Speaker 4: but like four hundred adults like on mountain bikes, just
- 38:53Speaker 4: like to the forest.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Be guys Hunckleberry bush huncle By, Hey, Huckleber, Huckleberry, Hucklebert.
- 39:08Speaker 3: It's the graduating class of mountain bike high. Yeah, I
- 39:15Speaker 3: I just don't have it's interest wise. High school reunion doesn't.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Yeah you have, I've never been to one. Okay, it
- 39:22Speaker 3: feels I mean, first of all, traveling back home for
- 39:25Speaker 3: that feels.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Where's back home?
- 39:26Speaker 3: Utah? Utah, Utah. So it's a kind of Montana Jason, Yeah, it.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Is, Yeah, Colorado, Utah.
- 39:35Speaker 3: But we don't I don't believe we have huckleberries.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Utah doesn't sound like huckleberries.
- 39:41Speaker 3: I think it's a desert. I mean it's a desert,
- 39:43Speaker 3: so too dry.
- 39:44Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, it's definitely too dry. Huckleberries are like forests,
- 39:47Speaker 4: like pine pine.
- 39:49Speaker 3: The bears are finding them. Yes, they're eating them with
- 39:51Speaker 3: their honey.
- 39:52Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, with their pots of honey. Let's honey on them.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Well, is there anything else we should say about these edibles?
- 39:59Speaker 3: I mean, have have you had any experiences where you've
- 40:01Speaker 3: had too much edible?
- 40:03Speaker 4: Any memorable?
- 40:04Speaker 2: Oh gosh, yeah, there was a I think they still exist.
- 40:07Speaker 4: There's a brand of brownie that is infused with tac
- 40:12Speaker 4: and it's called I think Corova the name of the brand.
- 40:16Speaker 4: And this is pre compliance days and I just remember
- 40:22Speaker 4: someone saying like, yeah, this is like a lot of
- 40:24Speaker 4: THC and I was like, oh, well, I'll be the
- 40:27Speaker 4: judge of that.
- 40:28Speaker 2: And then I got a Coroova bar and.
- 40:31Speaker 4: It's like a like a brownie probably about that big,
- 40:34Speaker 4: kind of about.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Like that thick.
- 40:36Speaker 3: The brownie is about brownie size.
- 40:37Speaker 4: About brownie size, but like a good size brownie. Yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 4: not like small. Don't feel like you got ripped off now,
- 40:42Speaker 4: like a medium sized brownie, medium to large. And I
- 40:47Speaker 4: remember like seeing the dose. I can't remember what the
- 40:50Speaker 4: dosage was. It was a thousand milligrams maybe or something
- 40:52Speaker 4: like that for the whole bar, okay, And so I calculated,
- 40:56Speaker 4: you know, how much of the bar I could have
- 40:57Speaker 4: in order to have like forty miligrams or something like that,
- 41:00Speaker 4: And I cut this really thin, like brownie brittle thin slice.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Off of it, right, and I ate that. And I
- 41:11Speaker 2: don't think I've been higher off of an edible from
- 41:14Speaker 2: that much. Yeah, Like I don't.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Know what happened, Like it was definitely I must have
- 41:18Speaker 4: miscalculated or something.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Oh and it was hard.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Like because I got sick, you know, because I'm pretty
- 41:26Speaker 4: Me and TCH like we're pretty good. We worked really
- 41:28Speaker 4: well together. I really like the drug. But classic team,
- 41:31Speaker 4: A classic team, not everybody. I have a lot of friends,
- 41:34Speaker 4: including my girlfriend, They're just like, no, it gives me anxiety.
- 41:36Speaker 4: And then I'm of course, my immediate thing is like,
- 41:38Speaker 4: well you just haven't tried the right strain and the dosage,
- 41:40Speaker 4: but not like, oh that sucks, you shouldn't do that,
- 41:43Speaker 4: Like I'm just immediately like I think I can find
- 41:45Speaker 4: a way for you to enjoy it is my immediate
- 41:48Speaker 4: reaction always. But yeah, yeah, but that was so much
- 41:53Speaker 4: that I was getting sick, like I was feeling like nauseous, wavy,
- 41:56Speaker 4: like I was in a boat that was just constantly
- 41:58Speaker 4: like being tossed around, and it just yeah, I just
- 42:02Speaker 4: felt gross and sick. And it took me probably like
- 42:06Speaker 4: an hour and a half to get out of that zone.
- 42:09Speaker 2: That was way too much.
- 42:11Speaker 3: Were you just at home?
- 42:12Speaker 2: I was at home, okay, thank god? Yeah, of course. Yeah. No,
- 42:14Speaker 2: when I'm experimenting with high doses, I'm not going out. Wow.
- 42:18Speaker 3: So you're you just felt sick and then it was over.
- 42:21Speaker 3: Did it last after the hour and a half, Yeah, like.
- 42:23Speaker 4: The stone feeling was there for sure, but you know,
- 42:26Speaker 4: because like edibles can get in there and stay for
- 42:29Speaker 4: pretty long time.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah, of course, you.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Know how long did it take to kick in?
- 42:32Speaker 2: Ah, probably like forty five minutes, and.
- 42:34Speaker 3: Then you're just suddenly getting slammed with this not shoh yeah, like.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Well, like it's it.
- 42:38Speaker 4: First it feels like, oh I'm getting high and you know,
- 42:41Speaker 4: and then like maybe fifteen twenty minutes goes by as
- 42:44Speaker 4: it's climbing, and then you're like, Okay, this is that
- 42:46Speaker 4: level that's comfortable.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Oh shit, I know we're going to keep going.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Okay, well, I think this will be oh my god,
- 42:50Speaker 4: oh shit, you know, it just keeps going and going
- 42:52Speaker 4: and going.
- 42:52Speaker 3: What did you do with the rest of the brownie?
- 42:54Speaker 4: I think I kept it in my freezer forever. It
- 42:57Speaker 4: might still be in there. Yeah, it might still be
- 42:59Speaker 4: in there. It might still be in there. Yeah, but
- 43:02Speaker 4: I would never I don't like overdosing on THC edibles.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Why.
- 43:07Speaker 4: It's just not a fun feeling, and it can I
- 43:10Speaker 4: don't know. I think sometimes it can turn people off
- 43:12Speaker 4: because they have too much and then they kind of give.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Up on it.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want to go back there sort of.
- 43:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm like, no, it's it's you can. You
- 43:18Speaker 4: can do it because I believe in you.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Well, you now have kind of a stake in people
- 43:25Speaker 3: trying it, So you've got to You've got to get
- 43:27Speaker 3: as many people.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I have to get people hooked on Huckleberry edibles.
- 43:32Speaker 4: Like that's that's my because that's my market. That's how
- 43:35Speaker 4: I exist, That's how I survived, that's where my ideas
- 43:38Speaker 4: come from. Every time I sell one of these, I
- 43:41Speaker 4: get better ideas. So so if you want better art,
- 43:47Speaker 4: you all of you cameras.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Know Reggie is looking to all fifty cameras in the studio.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Fifty cameras.
- 43:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's crazy how many cameras there are right here.
- 43:57Speaker 4: And the cool thing is like I'm only playing to
- 43:59Speaker 4: the cameras, like I'm assuming the camera is the audience
- 44:03Speaker 4: at home kind of a VR experience. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 44:06Speaker 4: just like I'm addressing the camera. So if people feel
- 44:08Speaker 4: a little disconnected from the way I've been on this podcast,
- 44:12Speaker 4: then then just know that that's why there's like an
- 44:15Speaker 4: uncanny valley.
- 44:15Speaker 2: I'm focusing just on these cameras.
- 44:17Speaker 3: I'm now talking to the camera. I feel like we
- 44:19Speaker 3: should just do the rest of the podcast talking to
- 44:22Speaker 3: our individual camera.
- 44:23Speaker 2: Look at you.
- 44:24Speaker 3: It feels really comfortable.
- 44:25Speaker 2: A great looking camera.
- 44:27Speaker 4: Damn it looks like it can move on its own,
- 44:30Speaker 4: and you can focus on it.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Does look like it can move or swivel.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's a robot. It's a robot camera.
- 44:37Speaker 3: And then there's this middle one, yeah, which is kind
- 44:39Speaker 3: of our shared We'll have to fight over that in
- 44:41Speaker 3: the divorce.
- 44:42Speaker 2: That's true.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that's our child's camera. But I do hope that
- 44:45Speaker 4: you win, like I do hope you win. I mean,
- 44:49Speaker 4: I'll still go through the whole process, but.
- 44:50Speaker 3: You're secretly rooting for me in this divorce.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Yes, I want you to have that.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Okay, well, I think we should play a game.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Oh what do you lying to playing a game?
- 45:03Speaker 3: I need a number between one and ten from you
- 45:09Speaker 3: and think this through. Be very careful.
- 45:13Speaker 2: It's turn into a werewolf.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Wow, that was the one question you could never be answered,
- 45:24Speaker 4: just like the seven foot tall wolf figure. And I'm
- 45:27Speaker 4: like nine, the most specific curse possible. Someday you'll be
- 45:34Speaker 4: asked when just be wary.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Eight.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Okay.
- 45:39Speaker 3: I have to do some light calculating with your number
- 45:41Speaker 3: to get our game pieces. So right now, you can recommend,
- 45:44Speaker 3: you can promote, you can do whatever you want.
- 45:46Speaker 2: I'll be right.
- 45:46Speaker 4: Oh, okay, okay, yeah, and so I never thought it
- 45:49Speaker 4: was going to work out. We sent four two more
- 45:53Speaker 4: packages and they didn't really get in in time. But
- 45:57Speaker 4: you know, it's still cool, like we still made it happen,
- 46:00Speaker 4: and then we'll probably do it again, so we'll still
- 46:01Speaker 4: use the stuff that we ordered.
- 46:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. We had a fun time.
- 46:05Speaker 4: It was kind of cool sometimes like not everything has
- 46:08Speaker 4: to be perfect for something to be really fun. And
- 46:10Speaker 4: I'm just glad that we did it. Oh and if
- 46:12Speaker 4: you get a chance, say to Margaret, hey, don't forget
- 46:17Speaker 4: about those pants. She'll get it. It's so good.
- 46:24Speaker 3: Are you talking about the huckleberry?
- 46:26Speaker 4: Yeah to the camera, okay, perfect.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're not mate, there are no more of.
- 46:31Speaker 2: These now that's I think that's the last one you've got, the.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Last I got the berry.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Yeah, this is you can keep it in there and
- 46:38Speaker 4: tell it like years from no for like sixteen dollars.
- 46:41Speaker 3: This is I'll finally retire using this box of gummy.
- 46:44Speaker 4: So I look what I got, an unopened last of
- 46:47Speaker 4: the runt.
- 46:49Speaker 3: Whoa, and I know where his brownie is?
- 46:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yea, yeah yeah yeah maybe.
- 46:56Speaker 3: Perfect listener, I guess you're out of luck, but keep
- 46:59Speaker 3: an eye on redch and you never know when something
- 47:01Speaker 3: might pop up.
- 47:01Speaker 2: They're going to reissue, They're going to reissue.
- 47:03Speaker 3: There will be a reissue. There will be a retro throwback.
- 47:06Speaker 2: There will be a retro throwback.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Garanthe listener, don't forget the live show is coming up
- 47:12Speaker 3: October thirteenth. Go to the Bellhouse and why dot Com
- 47:17Speaker 3: or Google? I said, no gifts live. Do whatever you
- 47:20Speaker 3: need to do in order to find information on the Internet.
- 47:22Speaker 3: I can't babysit you. Okay, this is how we're going.
- 47:25Speaker 3: We're playing a game called Gift or a Curse. Okay,
- 47:27Speaker 3: I'm gonna name three things. You'll tell me if there're
- 47:30Speaker 3: a gift or a curse and why, and then I'll
- 47:33Speaker 3: tell you if you're right or wrong, because there are
- 47:35Speaker 3: correct answers, so be very careful.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna think extra all right.
- 47:40Speaker 3: This first one is from a listener named Stephanie, and
- 47:42Speaker 3: she suggested gift or a curse. Open air cars that
- 47:46Speaker 3: have two wheels in front and one wheel in the back.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Curse Why they look stupid as fuck?
- 47:57Speaker 5: Wrong?
- 47:58Speaker 4: Oh, it's a gift.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Oh it is.
- 48:00Speaker 3: I sawone on the freeway here today. I mean it
- 48:03Speaker 3: was a very confusing site. I think the reason these
- 48:07Speaker 3: things are a gift is I don't know who's buying them.
- 48:11Speaker 3: I'm not sure what the point is. There's a lot
- 48:14Speaker 3: of you know, it's giving me something new to think about.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Whenever I'm driving.
- 48:17Speaker 3: If I spot one of these, I think, what to
- 48:19Speaker 3: what end? Where did this person come from? Where are
- 48:24Speaker 3: they going? Is it a vehicle that's meant for a
- 48:28Speaker 3: practical purpose or is this something you just zip around
- 48:31Speaker 3: town in.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 48:33Speaker 4: And I love that, Okay.
- 48:35Speaker 2: I love gives you something interesting.
- 48:37Speaker 3: Something interesting. It's a nice little spark in the world.
- 48:40Speaker 3: You know. It's kind of the opposite end of the
- 48:43Speaker 3: spectrum from the cyber truck, which I know what's going on,
- 48:47Speaker 3: and I know everything involved is horrible. You know, I
- 48:53Speaker 3: have too much information on that car. So these bizarre
- 48:56Speaker 3: ones that are happening that Stephanie is obviously can't stop
- 49:00Speaker 3: thinking about herself gift gift until I find out more.
- 49:06Speaker 2: I'll think, I'll think of I'll think about that.
- 49:08Speaker 4: That's a good that's a good way of like, you know,
- 49:10Speaker 4: probably a more positive way of dealing with it from
- 49:12Speaker 4: now on.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Yes, dealing with it is.
- 49:14Speaker 2: I think it is it is definitely.
- 49:17Speaker 4: Everyone is going through something when they see that, When
- 49:21Speaker 4: they see a car like that in the Free You're like,
- 49:23Speaker 4: huh huh hm hm eh.
- 49:30Speaker 3: It feels like something you build a home. I feel like, yeah,
- 49:33Speaker 3: I don't know where you would buy that.
- 49:34Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean it's I think one of
- 49:37Speaker 2: the brands is can Am.
- 49:38Speaker 4: Is that true?
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yeah? Canam Canam? Yeah?
- 49:41Speaker 3: Is that a point on PanAm?
- 49:43Speaker 4: It could be, and I hope it is. It's like
- 49:46Speaker 4: his grandmother's name was pam Ann. He's like, well, in
- 49:52Speaker 4: honor of my grandmother's can it It's like it's not
- 49:54Speaker 4: spelled the same.
- 49:55Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, it was kind of close.
- 49:57Speaker 3: It's a subtle reference reference, tasteful re instagram.
- 50:00Speaker 2: My family will know. Okay it is. That's true.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Okay, so zero for one, zero out of one. So far,
- 50:08Speaker 3: not bad at all. Flying high number two. This is
- 50:12Speaker 3: from Somebody named Rebecca. Gift to a curse when an
- 50:14Speaker 3: American actor plays a historical figure from another country but
- 50:18Speaker 3: does not use an accent, even though everyone else in
- 50:20Speaker 3: the film is using an accent.
- 50:27Speaker 2: What is it is a plus or a curse?
- 50:29Speaker 3: Gift?
- 50:33Speaker 2: This is a plus or minus?
- 50:36Speaker 4: No plus no blesses. I would say, I'd say a
- 50:44Speaker 4: case why well, because once you're aware of it, and
- 50:50Speaker 4: if you remain aware of it for the entire film,
- 50:52Speaker 4: it's just torture. I think, uh yeah maybe. And also
- 50:58Speaker 4: I'm the type of person that is very affected by
- 51:02Speaker 4: things that I noticed that are not exactly like they're
- 51:05Speaker 4: just a little off, and so I might that might
- 51:08Speaker 4: drive me crazy towns right right, That.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Is correct.
- 51:16Speaker 3: We love to see somebody making a choice. We love
- 51:19Speaker 3: the actor showing up on set and saying I have
- 51:22Speaker 3: a new take on this person. They're American.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Fine, fine, it's a you know what.
- 51:28Speaker 3: A wonderful thing to go to a movie. Everybody else
- 51:30Speaker 3: is kind of sticking to whatever's happening. Then we have
- 51:33Speaker 3: one person that we never forget that we're in the movies.
- 51:36Speaker 3: This person is there to remind us. Yes, they you know,
- 51:39Speaker 3: otherwise we might think that we've traveled back in time.
- 51:43Speaker 4: Yes, right, orienting, Let's say hello, I'm Winston Churchill. Yes,
- 51:50Speaker 4: let's not gave into those Germans. Let's do something Hello,
- 51:55Speaker 4: yes missus pipswitch. No, the apothecary is still not here.
- 52:00Speaker 4: And I was on the pavement earlier today in the
- 52:02Speaker 4: lift I'm Winston Churchhill.
- 52:07Speaker 3: I would like to see that with a real strong
- 52:08Speaker 3: Midwest accent. You know, somebody shows up and just that
- 52:11Speaker 3: type of American accent.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that would be interesting.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Actually, that's even more.
- 52:18Speaker 4: That would be a gift to me. That's a gift
- 52:20Speaker 4: that's added value. The other one is more like what
- 52:23Speaker 4: if they just they're like, okay, they're like, can you
- 52:26Speaker 4: do this role?
- 52:26Speaker 2: Absolutely? Can you get the accent? Absolutely?
- 52:29Speaker 4: And they work with an accent coach for three months
- 52:31Speaker 4: and they're like, how is it it's like.
- 52:35Speaker 2: And then the trainer's like, I don't think.
- 52:37Speaker 4: They're like, well, I guess just it's too late now,
- 52:40Speaker 4: so I guess just don't use the accent.
- 52:42Speaker 2: People won't notice. They'll get used to it.
- 52:44Speaker 4: The thing is, if you keep doing something, people just
- 52:46Speaker 4: get used to it, and you'll be supported by other
- 52:48Speaker 4: people having the accent, so they'll just kind of fill
- 52:50Speaker 4: it in in their imaginations.
- 52:53Speaker 3: Well, hopefully we can see that soon. It is a gift.
- 52:56Speaker 3: You've missed two so far, and I say it again,
- 52:59Speaker 3: not bad. This final one is from somebody named Trevor
- 53:04Speaker 3: gift Or a curse Winter.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Well, I'm mean, hopefully I'll get this one wrong too,
- 53:11Speaker 4: because I love symmetry. I no, I think I think
- 53:15Speaker 4: it's a gift. Why, well, I pronounced a jiff shift. Yeah,
- 53:20Speaker 4: it's a gift. The original creator of the word gift
- 53:25Speaker 4: always intend something else in mind, something else.
- 53:27Speaker 2: In mind, and always intended to be gift. Uh.
- 53:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it's I think it's a gift because
- 53:33Speaker 4: I love winter. I think it's it's good looking generally,
- 53:38Speaker 4: even when it's miserable. There's like something about staying inside
- 53:41Speaker 4: and staying warm and being cozy and you know, making
- 53:44Speaker 4: a good meal, and you know, having the gear to
- 53:47Speaker 4: feel comfortable outside when you are outside, and you know,
- 53:50Speaker 4: knowing how to deal with it. I think it's a
- 53:52Speaker 4: I think it's a nice gift. And it's good to
- 53:54Speaker 4: have something to contrast spring in summer and fall too.
- 53:58Speaker 2: I'll throw that in.
- 53:59Speaker 4: It's a gift. You've got the point. I'm so sorry.
- 54:02Speaker 4: I'm so sorry. I love winter.
- 54:05Speaker 3: I love a time that allows me to be cozy,
- 54:08Speaker 3: to wear pants all the time, to wear more than
- 54:10Speaker 3: two pieces of clothing.
- 54:12Speaker 2: So nice.
- 54:13Speaker 3: And it is nice looking in most places.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean cities. It does get gross after traffics.
- 54:19Speaker 3: Right, get kind of the gray slush. But that's also
- 54:22Speaker 3: something to think about and to appreciate when it goes
- 54:25Speaker 3: away as a nice feeling. Yes, you know, it's just
- 54:28Speaker 3: a whole thing that you get to kind of appreciate.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:33Speaker 3: I love winter.
- 54:34Speaker 2: Yeah, me, winter love.
- 54:35Speaker 3: I think everyone secretly loves winter, as long as they're
- 54:38Speaker 3: not scraping snow off of a wind shield.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Oh that is the worst.
- 54:42Speaker 3: That's but that's you know, that's not Winter's fault as much.
- 54:45Speaker 2: No, I mean, I guess it's good exercise.
- 54:48Speaker 3: Good exercise.
- 54:49Speaker 2: You're late.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Oh, then you're freaking out. Yeah, you're probably not even
- 54:52Speaker 3: You've got a small hole that you're looking through.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yes, you're like, that's good enough.
- 54:56Speaker 4: Going defrostrts to maximum constant constant chi wiper's constant with
- 55:01Speaker 4: us slowly turn a slash. I'm starting to see a
- 55:02Speaker 4: little bit more horrible feel.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Okay, we got one out of three. Hey, you know
- 55:09Speaker 3: what they say, that's an A plus exactly. If I
- 55:13Speaker 3: remember my school system, an A plus one out.
- 55:16Speaker 4: Of three one three is an A plus. Yeah that
- 55:19Speaker 4: makes sense. Yeah, I was like, I think our school,
- 55:21Speaker 4: Wittier School in Great Falls, was the first to adopt
- 55:25Speaker 4: that grading system, and.
- 55:27Speaker 3: We all support that system, of course. All right, well
- 55:30Speaker 3: this is very well played, and this is the final
- 55:33Speaker 3: segment of the podcast. This is called I said no
- 55:35Speaker 3: emails people right into I said no gifts at gmail
- 55:38Speaker 3: dot com begging for answers, desperate pans. Wow, their lives
- 55:42Speaker 3: are a mess.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Damn.
- 55:44Speaker 4: Will you help me answer a question?
- 55:45Speaker 2: Yes?
- 55:46Speaker 3: Okay, let me get into the doc here. Okay, this
- 55:49Speaker 3: is simply Bridger. A lot of the time they'll also
- 55:52Speaker 3: say Bridger and guests. So this person immediately has created
- 55:56Speaker 3: an issue.
- 55:56Speaker 4: Attention.
- 55:58Speaker 3: That's fine, Okay, Bridger, I need help. My boyfriend is
- 56:01Speaker 3: a big gamer. We have been together for about two
- 56:04Speaker 3: and a half years and lived together. I have bought
- 56:06Speaker 3: him many game related presents over the last two years,
- 56:09Speaker 3: including a switch, a new computer monitor, a gaming chair, etc.
- 56:14Speaker 3: He also loves coffee, so I bought him a latte
- 56:17Speaker 3: maker for Christmas two years ago. I have also tried
- 56:20Speaker 3: to buy him clothes slash shoes because he's very large
- 56:23Speaker 3: six foot nine and size seventeen double wide and shoes,
- 56:27Speaker 3: and those are typically very expensive. But those are not
- 56:30Speaker 3: very exciting gifts to give. He's a funny guy who
- 56:33Speaker 3: is just hard to shop for. Unfortunately, I feel like
- 56:36Speaker 3: I'm running out of gifts to give him. For his
- 56:38Speaker 3: last birthday, I gave him headphones for working out and
- 56:41Speaker 3: gift cards to Steam so he can buy some games.
- 56:44Speaker 3: Do you have any suggestions for gifts? I love him
- 56:47Speaker 3: a lot, but I feel you can only give so
- 56:48Speaker 3: many gift cards to Steam. Thanks for the help. And
- 56:53Speaker 3: that's from Sarah from Chicago. Interesting. I mean, obviously the
- 56:59Speaker 3: first answer, if you're running out of gifts to give someone,
- 57:01Speaker 3: you have to leave it's a relationship.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that is That is a kind of an easy indicator.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Yeah, very clear sign that things are over.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Yeah, because if you can't, if they are not inspiring
- 57:11Speaker 4: you to get a gift for them, Right, how are
- 57:15Speaker 4: you going to end of the road? Yeah, that's it,
- 57:18Speaker 4: because it's just gonna it's going to collapse.
- 57:20Speaker 3: It's I mean, it's already collapsing. You're on the bridge
- 57:23Speaker 3: and it's falling underneath you.
- 57:25Speaker 4: You have like seconds to jump so you can reach
- 57:27Speaker 4: that ledge that isn't falling and pull yourself.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Up, prove your upper body strength.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Yes, so true.
- 57:33Speaker 3: True, But I mean assuming she stays in this kind
- 57:37Speaker 3: of dark, bleak relationship, yeah, into the road style relationship.
- 57:44Speaker 2: For sure.
- 57:44Speaker 3: She's complaining about buying these huge shoes, saying that it's
- 57:48Speaker 3: not a fun gift to give. I actually completely disagree.
- 57:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, when I'm at the Nordstrom rack, I love
- 57:53Speaker 3: to take a peek at the huge shoe aisle. You
- 57:56Speaker 3: can get into some very big footwear, and it's a
- 57:59Speaker 3: it's a different world from the shoes I'm looking at. Yeah,
- 58:03Speaker 3: so I feel like Sarah for herself, she can save
- 58:06Speaker 3: herself a lot of grief by having a good time
- 58:08Speaker 3: looking at huge shoes. She heads to any store and asks,
- 58:13Speaker 3: just point me in the direction of the things that
- 58:14Speaker 3: are seven sizes bigger than most people.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Right, right, I mean huge shoes. Yeah, what's your shoe size?
- 58:26Speaker 2: Mine is super huge. It's like twelve or eleven a half.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Oh that's a that's a good sized shoe.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Eleven and a half to twelve.
- 58:33Speaker 3: It's not a seventeen.
- 58:34Speaker 2: It's not even close.
- 58:36Speaker 3: How big is a seventeen shoes?
- 58:38Speaker 2: Big as this table?
- 58:39Speaker 3: It's probably about four feet long?
- 58:40Speaker 2: Yes, four feeling for sure?
- 58:42Speaker 4: I mean, I mean, I think if we did the math,
- 58:44Speaker 4: which we don't need to because we're definitely no.
- 58:46Speaker 3: One, please, no one do the math.
- 58:48Speaker 2: Don't do the.
- 58:48Speaker 3: Math, waste of time.
- 58:49Speaker 4: We're definitely right about this, but it's like three i'll
- 58:51Speaker 4: say three and a half to four.
- 58:52Speaker 3: Feet long, right, right, and a shoe that's four feet long.
- 58:56Speaker 3: What a novelty to look at.
- 58:58Speaker 4: I know, I really is. If you can even lift
- 59:01Speaker 4: them inside of your car.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Right, you have to borrow a friend's truck. To borrow
- 59:05Speaker 3: a truck, which is another fun little experience in and
- 59:08Speaker 3: of itself. Call someone up, I'm buying Roger New shoes.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Can I borrow the truck for the weekend? And you
- 59:15Speaker 3: have to hire like a task grab it to help
- 59:16Speaker 3: you get them out of the mall? Yes, which I
- 59:19Speaker 3: think I mean the fact that fork lift. Of course
- 59:22Speaker 3: you're renting the fork clift or one of what are
- 59:26Speaker 3: those things that's like a forklift but it's small and
- 59:28Speaker 3: you can push it.
- 59:29Speaker 4: Oh like a wheelbar No, no, a wheelbarrow, a hand truck.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Well, it has like the forkliff mechanism. Oh, it's like
- 59:36Speaker 3: I guess it's a hand forklift.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Oh oh, yeah, I know we're talking about. Yeah, that's a.
- 59:40Speaker 4: Pallet, Yeah, like a pallet. Pallet, not a cleanser. Pallet,
- 59:44Speaker 4: not cleanser pallet. Uh yeah, transport palette, transport pallet lift, pallet,
- 59:51Speaker 4: pallet lift, pallet vehicle.
- 59:52Speaker 3: So yeah, either a forklift or the pallette lift to
- 59:55Speaker 3: get out.
- 59:55Speaker 4: Of the mall.
- 59:56Speaker 2: To the forklift, yes, to the truck.
- 59:58Speaker 4: Yeah, well the pallet would totally work because it's not
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: height specific to be able to carry it out.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: Unless they have one of those little alarms on the
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: wheel that you can't get that far.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Out of the mall shut down.
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, kind of like a shopping cart style.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Oh that way, that's pretty cool. But yeah, you just
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: moved the vehicle closer. That's it.
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: Kind of park in a red zone for a minute, the.
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: Red zone hazard lights that protects you. It's a force field.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: Everybody knows that that will last you up to six hours. Yeah,
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: that's a six hour force field. The law enforcement will
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: be like, well, they.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Do have their flashes on, so let's just keep going.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Park the fire truck somewhere else.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fine. No, that's fine.
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: I don't think there's gonna be a fire today, so
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: let's just let them do that.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I'm sure it's going to be quick. It feels quick.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: This feels like a four foot shoe buy.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely four foot shoe buy for sure.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Well, the fact that she even rode in is kind
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: of mysterious. When the answer has been here right in
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: front of.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Her, they just get into the huge shoes thing, the.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Huge shoes thing. And I mean, I will say, you
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: can't buy a person too many gift cards.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: I don't think so. I mean, well I think you could.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: So there's like a toxic toxicity level where the person
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: will be poisoned.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, because they'll probably develop some kind of
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: like an unhealthy psychological condition where they'd be like I
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: have too many gift cards and I can't spend all
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: of them, I can't use all of them, and they've
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: been locked to my name, so I can't give them
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: away either, you know, So that that would be like
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: you're like spending all the time, You're just trying to spend,
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: and you're like, get I mean that could make them, Yeah,
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: that could make someone crazy.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: So drive them insane with gift cards. Yeah, okay, so
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: well maybe then maybe you're on Sarah's side here. I
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: fully disagree, but maybe you know, push the gift cards
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: as far as possible.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: What about a massage?
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Oh, you know, like a gift card to a massage.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Yeah, like like give him an.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Experience, such an underrated gift.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: I feel like almost everyone loves to get them sage.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: And it's always no matter unless you have some injury.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: It feels like a splurge, no matter what. If you're
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: buying it for yourself. Yes, so it's like someone buys
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: it for you. They've really done some work, some emotional
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: work that you don't have to go through on your way.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: To the parlor. That is correct.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: So you get the gift certificate. Interesting gift certificate. I
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: love a gift certificate gift yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: love a piece of paper proving that that gift has
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: been I.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Have by gift congratulations, new gift.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: May you use it?
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Well, they're wearing their cap and gown. No, we need
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: to get back to the gift certificate.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: I loved that kind of the oversized envelope that they
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: would come in.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Yeah, that feels certified.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: It was certified, and it was easily copied and could
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: probably be duplicated by some sort of forger.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, but you know it started certified.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: It starts it and that's what's important.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think that's cool, and yes, I agree.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: I think gift certificates would be the way to go.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Get gift certificates. Fill the shoes with gift certificates. Oh
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: that's yeah, that's cool. Kind of like the tissue that
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: keeps them. Yeah, except for crumpled certificates.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: Yeah, the shape keeps the shoe shape. Shoe shape, Steffans, I.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: Haven't seen that tissue in a shoe for a while.
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: I have you have? I recently had something because now
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: they use the cardboard shapes. Oh, which or not? I
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: don't like that at all.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know.
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: I mean they look kind of cool when you pull
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: them out, but yeah, the paper's kind of a little
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: bit nicer of a feeling.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: Right, like being able to pull that out, it feels
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: like you're gutting the shoe.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Yeah, totally. It's like I caught you. Now, it's like,
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: now I'll get to you as you I don't know,
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: something like that.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Well, Sarah from Chicago, if the relationship isn't already over,
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: we found a couple of ways to save it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Yeah, at least for the time being. I think you
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: have some great options and you should, really, you should
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: really go for it.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I mean, look feels to me like she is looking
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: at gift giving as entertainment for herself rather. Yeah, she's
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: bored with giving gifts and that's not her boyfriend's fault.
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: That is potentially true. Yeah, she could be projecting onto
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: where he's like, I don't need anything, I just love you, babe,
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: you know something like.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: That, and she's meanwhile bored at the mall looking for
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: looking at big shoes.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like I don't know what to get you.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: It's like, ask you give me anything, babe, No, you
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: need something, you know something I don't know.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: This is relationship sabotage.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean couples do this to each other all the.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Time, constantly. It's a classic case.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: And that's kind of what you're supposed to do.
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: You know, sabotage the relationship.
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: So sorry, but yeah, sir, it's like gift based sabotage,
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: you know, and a lot of like misunderstandings, like like
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: manufactured misunderstandings. That feels like a description of this podcast. Yeah,
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: manufactured misunderstandings. I mean the subtitle, well.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: Beautiful Sarah, do not write back in, oh, Reggie, Well
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: I've got this your own. I mean I would eat
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: one right now, but I have to drive home two freeways,
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: like I mentioned, two freeways that could be a dangerous
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: activity for everybody. I mean, it's hard enough with me
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: sober on the road. And I also could save these
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: four two years and get my sixteen dollars cash out.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it, guaranteed sixteen dollars.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: So there's a lot that could possibly happen with these gummies,
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: and I'm thrilled to have them.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I'm so glad that you were able to receive them.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Well, I've had a wonderful time with you here today.
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: Thank you for being here, my absolute place listener. The
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: podcast is over. I don't even know where to guide
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: you from here. You have got to find your way
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: out of the forest. I hope you have a wonderful day.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: The podcast is over. I love you, goodbye, I said,
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: no gifts isn't exactly right production. It's produced by our
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: dear friend Annalise Nelson and it's beautifully mixed by Ben Holliday.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: And we couldn't do it without our guest booker, Patrick Kottner.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: The theme song, of course, could only come from miracle
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: worker Amy Mann. You must follow the show on Instagram
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: at I said, no gifts. I don't want to hear
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: any excuses. That's where you get to see pictures of
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: all these gorgeous gifts I'm getting. And don't you want
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: to see pictures of the gifts?
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: The lie in why did you hear?
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Fun? A man myself perfectly clear? But you're a guess
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to me. You gotta come to me empty, And I said,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: no guests. You're our presences. Presence enough. I'm already too
