- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin? Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 2: Say? What are you trying to do?
- 0:03Speaker 3: Beyond the usual controversial talking over.
- 0:07Speaker 4: The welcome to prepare yourself?
- 0:14Speaker 5: Yeah, okay for Craig preparing my deal.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Here, particulate, stimulated.
- 0:25Speaker 6: There there you go.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Back, you start becoming a gene. Is the Craigcullin Show.
- 0:33Speaker 6: Jesus, oh God.
- 0:34Speaker 2: No dot talking talk.
- 0:36Speaker 5: This station is well the ultimate power in the universe.
- 0:39Speaker 6: Your host, he's a good man. That's right.
- 0:43Speaker 4: It is, in fact, the Craig Collins Show K S
- 0:45Speaker 4: E V. The Voice of Texas Thrilled to be with you.
- 0:49Speaker 4: That is seven hundred am. So many things is the
- 0:53Speaker 4: way that I often start any kind of segment I
- 0:55Speaker 4: do on any kind of radio. But so many things
- 0:57Speaker 4: to talk about, and there really is a lot there today,
- 1:00Speaker 4: and well I've also been talking a lot. I have
- 1:03Speaker 4: been filling in on the Danish show, which if you
- 1:05Speaker 4: listen to this station between two and four o'clock you've heard.
- 1:09Speaker 4: It was kind of fun to walk in again today
- 1:11Speaker 4: and have some of the guys here that work that show,
- 1:15Speaker 4: you know, say something to me about it, because we
- 1:17Speaker 4: sit behind a board and then it's me talking and
- 1:20Speaker 4: usually I'm sitting next to them at some point before
- 1:23Speaker 4: we move on to the other shows, and there's some
- 1:25Speaker 4: sort of joke about how radio works because sometimes things
- 1:28Speaker 4: are not in fact live, even if they see him live.
- 1:31Speaker 6: But thrilled to be with you, lots of stuff. As
- 1:33Speaker 6: I said to get to.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I do think that playing at least one clip from
- 1:37Speaker 4: President Trump, who is speaking today in Georgia, is important.
- 1:42Speaker 6: And I love the thing he's saying here.
- 1:44Speaker 4: He's saying to get rid of the filibuster, just end it,
- 1:49Speaker 4: get it to be done, because it's stupid. And I
- 1:52Speaker 4: think he even calls John Thune a rhino because they're
- 1:56Speaker 4: the ones preventing it. I know that the argument against
- 1:59Speaker 4: this is, wow, the Democrats are gonna use this once
- 2:02Speaker 4: it's a thing that exists. They're gonna do it anyway.
- 2:05Speaker 4: The thing that will make me so mad before I
- 2:07Speaker 4: hit play in this audio, and I'll just tell it
- 2:09Speaker 4: to you here, is that if in a couple of years,
- 2:12Speaker 4: somehow someway and I don't think this will actually happen,
- 2:15Speaker 4: a Democrat wins the White House and they consolidate power.
- 2:18Speaker 4: The first thing they will do if they have all
- 2:21Speaker 4: three branches of government, like we have right now is
- 2:23Speaker 4: remove the filibuster and just go crazy with that level
- 2:27Speaker 4: of power. So why not do it first and get
- 2:29Speaker 4: at least some amount of time where we can do
- 2:31Speaker 4: things without having to deal with the stupidity of the philibuster,
- 2:34Speaker 4: Like you know, the Save Act. The Save Act would
- 2:37Speaker 4: be much easier to pass if we blew up the filibuster.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Here is the President talking about exactly this thing, exactly
- 2:43Speaker 4: the way that he should be talking about it, and
- 2:45Speaker 4: something we really should have done by now.
- 2:47Speaker 7: They got to really terminate the filibuster, get everything approved
- 2:50Speaker 7: right away, because you're gonna have a stoppage. You're gonna
- 2:54Speaker 7: have a stoppage in September. The Democrats won't approve everything.
- 2:57Speaker 7: They become deranged, like deranged check Smith, remember that derangeduppy.
- 3:02Speaker 7: They're deranged, and they won't approve. You'll have a You're
- 3:05Speaker 7: gonna have a shutdown in Sebacia.
- 3:06Speaker 6: I'm crazy.
- 3:07Speaker 7: And in two years later you have the Dead Sailing Bill.
- 3:10Speaker 7: They would love it. I call it the nineteen twenty
- 3:12Speaker 7: nine You know what nineteen twenty nine means.
- 3:14Speaker 6: That was not a good year.
- 3:16Speaker 4: No, and there's no resid no that the crash of
- 3:19Speaker 4: twenty twenty nine was not in fact good. A lot
- 3:21Speaker 4: of the Great Depression was in fact bad. The Roaring
- 3:24Speaker 4: Twenties were fun, it sounded like for a while, and
- 3:26Speaker 4: then things didn't go so well. But the President saying,
- 3:30Speaker 4: let's get the filibuster removed, let's get the Save Act done,
- 3:33Speaker 4: Let's do whatever we can to secure our elections, it
- 3:37Speaker 4: simply makes sense.
- 3:39Speaker 6: At this point.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I believe that there's no real reason not to do it, because,
- 3:44Speaker 4: as I said, the big problem and actually, you know what,
- 3:46Speaker 4: I'll tell you this. So I've been filling in on
- 3:49Speaker 4: a lot of stuff, not just Dana's National Show, but
- 3:52Speaker 4: some other things. And one of the places that I
- 3:54Speaker 4: occasionally do radio is Indiana, specifically in Indianapolis. And of
- 3:59Speaker 4: course Indiaana did not redistrict when Texas chose to do it.
- 4:04Speaker 4: And now one of the big conversations going on in
- 4:06Speaker 4: that state far to our north, is how a lot
- 4:08Speaker 4: of these Republicans that refuse to redistrict are probably going
- 4:12Speaker 4: to get primaried. A bunch of money is being thrown
- 4:15Speaker 4: in all kinds of places to remove the politicians who failed,
- 4:18Speaker 4: because it's fighting fire with fire, and you have some
- 4:21Speaker 4: people that say you know what, this map and this
- 4:24Speaker 4: state actually looks fair, whatever state it might be, or
- 4:27Speaker 4: people here that say Texas was fair before. By redistricing it,
- 4:32Speaker 4: you're making it less fair to any Democrat winning any race.
- 4:36Speaker 4: And my response is, I don't like cheating. I'm not
- 4:39Speaker 4: a fan of cheating. I don't want to do it
- 4:41Speaker 4: in any capacity. I definitely don't want to cheat in
- 4:44Speaker 4: our elections. However, you're also an idiot if you watch
- 4:48Speaker 4: the other side continue to do stuff that makes you
- 4:50Speaker 4: lose and them win, and you don't fight back at all.
- 4:54Speaker 4: And so I think redistricting, and I think the big
- 4:56Speaker 4: reason that Texas did as much of it as we
- 4:58Speaker 4: did is because you're trying to fight that fire with fire.
- 5:02Speaker 4: And it's a long gooing feud, if that's what you
- 5:04Speaker 4: want to call it, between both sides of the political aisle.
- 5:07Speaker 4: This wouldn't be the first time that anybody has done
- 5:09Speaker 4: something like It's not new, and so pretending it's new
- 5:12Speaker 4: is sort of ridiculous. But beyond that, I think that
- 5:15Speaker 4: we just need to do it. And so I'm annoyed
- 5:17Speaker 4: by the people that want Republicans to win, you know,
- 5:23Speaker 4: any sort of race, any sort of election, but also
- 5:26Speaker 4: think that you shouldn't redistrict to do some of that
- 5:29Speaker 4: if the Democrats are doing it everywhere and anywhere they can,
- 5:32Speaker 4: and honestly talking about doing it more ridiculously in places
- 5:36Speaker 4: like California. All Right, I'll move on. I did like this.
- 5:39Speaker 4: This is a little bit of back and forth. Well,
- 5:41Speaker 4: you know what, I'll save that. We'll save some CNN
- 5:44Speaker 4: stuff for a second. Let's jump Jasmine Crockett to the front,
- 5:47Speaker 4: shall we, and then we'll get to some other things.
- 5:50Speaker 4: Jasmine Crockett is a lunatic. That's probably one way to
- 5:54Speaker 4: describe her. It's one way that I enjoy describing her,
- 5:56Speaker 4: to say the very least. And one of the things
- 5:59Speaker 4: she's now claiming, which I thought was wildly amusing, is
- 6:03Speaker 4: that race is the reason this is, according to Jasmine,
- 6:06Speaker 4: that people did not want Argentina to win the twenty
- 6:11Speaker 4: twenty six World Cup, and a couple things happen to
- 6:15Speaker 4: be a problem in that way of thinking. And I'm
- 6:17Speaker 4: not much of like a soccer guy, as I've stated
- 6:21Speaker 4: multiple times on this very show. There's a lot of
- 6:23Speaker 4: soccer things I do not in fact know, and I
- 6:26Speaker 4: doubt i'll we will ever truly understand the way that
- 6:28Speaker 4: the soccer people do. But one thing I am aware
- 6:31Speaker 4: of is that people hardcore I think that's the right
- 6:35Speaker 4: way to say it, wanted Argentina to win the World
- 6:38Speaker 4: Cup in twenty twenty two, and then they didn't want
- 6:42Speaker 4: Argentina to win the World Cup in twenty twenty six
- 6:44Speaker 4: because one, they'd already won one, and two that's the
- 6:48Speaker 4: way that sports always works. It's the quote from the
- 6:51Speaker 4: Michael Jordan Sneaker movie Air where they say that they'll
- 6:55Speaker 4: build you up to tear you down. They love you
- 6:57Speaker 4: when you're the rocky underdog, and the minute you become
- 7:00Speaker 4: the person at the top of the food chain, they
- 7:03Speaker 4: desperately want to see you lose. That's all that happened. Plus,
- 7:07Speaker 4: and this was the funniest part. My wife, who's Mexican,
- 7:10Speaker 4: she's not going to be, you know, a racist white person,
- 7:13Speaker 4: which is what Jasmine Crockett is saying existed here, because
- 7:17Speaker 4: that's the only people she focuses on as being terrible,
- 7:20Speaker 4: horrible racists. My wife didn't want Argentina to win because
- 7:23Speaker 4: she thought the refs were cheating form. That was hilarious
- 7:26Speaker 4: to me, and some other people thought it too, a
- 7:28Speaker 4: lot of moments where it seemed that Argentina benefited and
- 7:32Speaker 4: other people, even the United States seemed to get a
- 7:35Speaker 4: rag red flag where Lionel Messi didn't. So I think
- 7:38Speaker 4: there were a lot of reasons that had nothing to
- 7:40Speaker 4: do with race, that were in fact the actual things
- 7:44Speaker 4: pushing people to cheer against Argentina if you were even
- 7:47Speaker 4: still paying attention to the World Cup with it, which
- 7:50Speaker 4: a decent amount of people were not. But here is
- 7:52Speaker 4: Jasmine Crockett saying it was racism. That's all it was,
- 7:55Speaker 4: and that's all it will ever be.
- 7:58Speaker 8: They captured the imaginations of the higher world when they
- 8:01Speaker 8: saw all of these people of color that was playing
- 8:04Speaker 8: for all these teams, and ultimately, if you recall the
- 8:07Speaker 8: last two teams, it was Argentina in Spain, and it
- 8:11Speaker 8: seemed like the vast majority of the world was rooting
- 8:14Speaker 8: for Argentina or actually against Argentina.
- 8:20Speaker 6: And why was that?
- 8:20Speaker 8: Just give me an explanation if you could get if
- 8:23Speaker 8: you'll just let them finish the.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Answer spending the best team, maybe that's what.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Maybe it's a team thing.
- 8:30Speaker 8: There's also a racist history that it can't possibly be
- 8:34Speaker 8: racism ken it, And then yes, it is.
- 8:36Speaker 4: That's what she says it is, and that's crazy and ridiculous.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Here's the reason this is so funny to me. It
- 8:42Speaker 4: is I think in the world of politics and race
- 8:45Speaker 4: is one of a couple things that people lean on.
- 8:48Speaker 4: There are these buzzwords that they seem to want to play.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Like you could play a drinking game in which you
- 8:53Speaker 4: listen to a democrat and the democrat told you this was.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Terrible, that was terrible.
- 8:59Speaker 4: These people bad or evil for society, and inevitably, every
- 9:03Speaker 4: time they called somebody an ist of any kind, a racist, a.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Sexist, you got a drink. You might die during.
- 9:10Speaker 4: A version of that drinking game if a Democrat is
- 9:13Speaker 4: doing it, because of how terrible it would be for you,
- 9:15Speaker 4: how bad the things would go in the world, of
- 9:18Speaker 4: how many drinks you'd have to have. And it's just
- 9:20Speaker 4: amazing to me that that's basically the only avenue that
- 9:24Speaker 4: it seems some have in the world of our political
- 9:26Speaker 4: system to try to criticize anything. They're like, you know what,
- 9:30Speaker 4: the only way I have to go here, the only
- 9:32Speaker 4: way to convince my side that we're the good guys
- 9:35Speaker 4: on the other side of the bad guys, is to
- 9:36Speaker 4: say somebody's a giant piece of poop, and to say
- 9:39Speaker 4: it this way, and if I do that enough times,
- 9:42Speaker 4: maybe you'll believe it. And then finally you'll start voting
- 9:46Speaker 4: for us and stop voting for them. And case in
- 9:49Speaker 4: point of political theater might actually be a Zorn mumdami.
- 9:53Speaker 4: He has been behaving as though he himself is completely
- 9:58Speaker 4: unaware of the fact the United States doesn't give a
- 10:01Speaker 4: crap about international law.
- 10:03Speaker 6: We don't recognize it.
- 10:04Speaker 4: We wouldn't allow the rest of the world to dictate
- 10:07Speaker 4: how things go here in the United States.
- 10:10Speaker 6: That's important to us.
- 10:11Speaker 4: That freedom of us choosing what's best for our country
- 10:14Speaker 4: and our people long a staple of what it means
- 10:17Speaker 4: to be an American. Zoron seems to either not know
- 10:20Speaker 4: that or willfully be ignoring that up until yesterday, when
- 10:24Speaker 4: he finally admitted that he won't be arresting Benjamin Netan Yahoo,
- 10:28Speaker 4: regardless again of how many times he said his administration
- 10:32Speaker 4: was going to explore it. Legally, they have no legal
- 10:35Speaker 4: ability to do this. And I thought it was really interesting.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Fox put together a clip of him saying he was
- 10:42Speaker 4: gonna do it or thinking about it, and then eventually
- 10:45Speaker 4: saying I can't do it, and calling on the United
- 10:48Speaker 4: States as a whole to arrest Benjamin Netanyaho when he
- 10:51Speaker 4: goes to New York. And I did also like that
- 10:53Speaker 4: Zoron said net Yaho wasn't welcome in New York even
- 10:58Speaker 4: though he's going to go there, and that he should
- 11:00Speaker 4: be arrested, which won't happen, and then Net and Yahoo
- 11:03Speaker 4: will leave. So it's sort of like saying you're not welcome,
- 11:06Speaker 4: but the door is open and enjoy the stay, which
- 11:10Speaker 4: is what will again, as.
- 11:11Speaker 6: I said, actually occur. But here's how Fox cut this up.
- 11:14Speaker 5: As mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyah who.
- 11:17Speaker 5: This is a city that our values are in line
- 11:19Speaker 5: with international law. It's time that our actions are also,
- 11:22Speaker 5: even though the US is not a signature of the ICC. No,
- 11:24Speaker 5: it's time that we actually step up and make clear
- 11:26Speaker 5: what we are willing to do to showcase the leadership
- 11:28Speaker 5: that is sorely missing in the federal administration.
- 11:30Speaker 9: My administration has reviewed every avenue available a clickable law
- 11:35Speaker 9: to determine whether New York City could execute the International
- 11:38Speaker 9: Criminal Court's arrest warrant.
- 11:39Speaker 6: The answer Benjamin who can?
- 11:41Speaker 5: Oh?
- 11:41Speaker 6: Is that answer?
- 11:41Speaker 9: Body, it is clear that we do not have the
- 11:43Speaker 9: independent legal authority to enforce this.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Warmth Man, that is shocking. I'm shocked, you're shocked, We're
- 11:48Speaker 4: all shocked. It's it's crazy. I don't know how I'm
- 11:50Speaker 4: going to get over the fact that New York can't
- 11:52Speaker 4: do a thing that it feels like it wants to
- 11:54Speaker 4: do that the United States as a whole wouldn't do
- 11:57Speaker 4: because we don't recognize international law, because that would be bad,
- 12:02Speaker 4: by the way, not in the sense that any one
- 12:04Speaker 4: thing they say or do would be a negative, but
- 12:06Speaker 4: the fact that they'd have a ton of control over
- 12:09Speaker 4: our country. You know who else doesn't recognize the international
- 12:13Speaker 4: courts Israel.
- 12:14Speaker 6: They also don't seem to care about that stuff.
- 12:17Speaker 4: So if you create a court, and if I tell
- 12:20Speaker 4: you it's not something that I care about at all,
- 12:22Speaker 4: regardless of what you do or say, there's no scenario
- 12:25Speaker 4: where eventually someone else can be like, but yeah, those
- 12:28Speaker 4: guys over there, they said, this illegal thing is happening,
- 12:31Speaker 4: and you've got to be held accountable for the terrible,
- 12:33Speaker 4: horrible thing that You've told this multiple times. You don't
- 12:37Speaker 4: care what we say or do, all Right. A couple
- 12:39Speaker 4: other quick things. I do like this. This is Abby Phillip.
- 12:43Speaker 4: She is debating with Scott Jennings and other people about
- 12:47Speaker 4: what's going on in New Jersey voter fraud there. And
- 12:50Speaker 4: one of the things I liked is saying that you
- 12:53Speaker 4: have a zero tolerance for something because it was really stupid,
- 12:58Speaker 4: the semantic argument of I'm going to argue about if
- 13:01Speaker 4: something is widespread or not. The President of the United
- 13:04Speaker 4: States said that we have widespread election fraud and election issues.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Even after New Jersey admits that they have election issues,
- 13:11Speaker 4: the Democrats are saying, yeah, but they're not widespread, which
- 13:14Speaker 4: feels like a hollow win unless you understand how they
- 13:18Speaker 4: do this all the time, and Scott Jennings certainly does.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Here's a little bit of that.
- 13:22Speaker 10: This is obviously not a great situation. She acknowledged that,
- 13:27Speaker 10: but it also doesn't demonstrate that there's widespread voter fraud
- 13:30Speaker 10: in New Jersey or anywhere.
- 13:32Speaker 11: In New Jersey.
- 13:34Speaker 12: Sixty six hundred non citizens made it onto the voter rules.
- 13:37Speaker 13: That's that's to me, is wide widespread voter fraud.
- 13:39Speaker 10: That's widespread. Yeah, I think would be pretty sad if
- 13:43Speaker 10: one person it's the number of registered voters in the state.
- 13:47Speaker 13: Well, New Jersey spends sixty billion dollars over that overall
- 13:51Speaker 13: on its budget.
- 13:52Speaker 6: So I think if we're yeah, but I mean.
- 13:53Speaker 10: You're just you just said it's widespread. So where's the
- 13:56Speaker 10: proof that it's widespread?
- 13:57Speaker 14: Six hundred non citizens?
- 13:59Speaker 10: Yeah, that is point zero zero six percent now spread
- 14:03Speaker 10: out voters in the state. Mikey Cheryl, she won her
- 14:11Speaker 10: She won her election by half a million votes. There
- 14:14Speaker 10: were three point three million ballots cast in that election.
- 14:17Speaker 10: Four hundred in eligible voters. Let's say, because we don't
- 14:20Speaker 10: even know, let's say they all voted for her, which
- 14:23Speaker 10: maybe they did, invalidate the election. That would be about
- 14:26Speaker 10: one hundredth of a percent of all the votes cast widespread.
- 14:30Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, six hundred. I'm going to jump in for
- 14:32Speaker 6: a second. Here's what's really interesting about this.
- 14:34Speaker 4: I'm going to let it keep going, and Jennings is
- 14:36Speaker 4: going to come in and say he has a zero
- 14:37Speaker 4: tolerance for any kind of fraud.
- 14:39Speaker 6: It doesn't matter who or what.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Doesn't matter if it's somebody that's not supposed to vote
- 14:43Speaker 4: because they're here illegally, or somebody that's not supposed to
- 14:45Speaker 4: vote for some other reason, or you collected a vote
- 14:48Speaker 4: from a retirement home that a person wasn't even aware
- 14:51Speaker 4: they filled out, and you sent that one in like
- 14:53Speaker 4: whatever it is. There are some people that say, hey,
- 14:56Speaker 4: election fraud of any kind is bad, and actually, you know,
- 14:59Speaker 4: it's funny about this. Oftentimes these discussions get couched in
- 15:05Speaker 4: specific things in the world of maybe the last few
- 15:08Speaker 4: weeks or months, or certainly days because of what happened
- 15:12Speaker 4: in Jersey. A lot of people talk about illegal immigrants voting.
- 15:16Speaker 4: What's interesting to me is thinking about the other countries
- 15:19Speaker 4: and how they work. And I often think about my wife,
- 15:22Speaker 4: who was born and raised in Mexico, and how elections
- 15:25Speaker 4: work there.
- 15:26Speaker 6: And actually, this is kind of funny.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I'm not sure if she'll like that I throw this
- 15:29Speaker 4: out there in the radio, but darn it, I'm gonna
- 15:31Speaker 4: do it. I'm gonna defend your brother.
- 15:32Speaker 6: Betty.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Her brother got host in an election where he was
- 15:36Speaker 4: trying to be the president of the town, the small
- 15:39Speaker 4: town that they live in, which he had been before.
- 15:41Speaker 4: By the way, her brother in Mexico had run and
- 15:45Speaker 4: won to be president in the past, and he's doing
- 15:47Speaker 4: it again. And then they found out on the day
- 15:49Speaker 4: of the election, one of the guys who was fighting him.
- 15:53Speaker 4: One of the guys who's competing against was just paying
- 15:56Speaker 4: people to vote, which is illegal, but it's Mexico.
- 15:59Speaker 6: It's like, eh, yeah, we don't know.
- 16:00Speaker 4: And so the guy panted out a bunch of money,
- 16:03Speaker 4: a bunch of people voted for him, and guess what,
- 16:05Speaker 4: Moy that's her brother's name, did not win an election
- 16:08Speaker 4: and someone else did. We don't want that stuff to
- 16:11Speaker 4: happen here. We want any version of a voter fraud
- 16:14Speaker 4: to be prevented in the United States. That's the basis
- 16:18Speaker 4: of the discussion, if you're Scott Jennings, and that's the
- 16:21Speaker 4: value of the position to the world or to the country,
- 16:25Speaker 4: is that our elections are actually the most secure. We're
- 16:28Speaker 4: not just going to say that, we're going to actually
- 16:30Speaker 4: do it because it's better for everybody involved, even people
- 16:34Speaker 4: running in small races and places where somehow someway, someone.
- 16:38Speaker 6: That deserved to win didn't win.
- 16:40Speaker 4: But I'll get back to it, because this whole fight
- 16:42Speaker 4: about widespread, widespread six thousand isn't three.
- 16:46Speaker 6: And guess what, I don't want three.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Non citizens made it onto the voter rules. That's pretty bad.
- 16:50Speaker 10: I think pulled on widespread Yeah, sixty six hundred people
- 16:55Speaker 10: who were inadvertently registered to vote, the vast majority of
- 16:58Speaker 10: them never cast a ballot. And your call four hundred
- 17:01Speaker 10: maybe ballots cast by people who are registered never independence
- 17:06Speaker 10: as widespread in a state. Yeah, there are six point
- 17:09Speaker 10: eight million registered.
- 17:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm with the governor. I think it's a pretty
- 17:13Speaker 6: big problem.
- 17:14Speaker 10: Doesn't that math? Doesn't math?
- 17:15Speaker 6: Jesse Well, I.
- 17:16Speaker 13: Didn't say it invalidated Mikey Cheryl's elections.
- 17:19Speaker 10: I didn't say you said that. But I also dispute
- 17:21Speaker 10: the idea that there's any proof that this is white.
- 17:23Speaker 10: I think there are thousands of non citizens on the
- 17:25Speaker 10: voter rolls in New Jersey, and I'm pretty concerned about that.
- 17:27Speaker 6: I would call it a widespread problem. I think the
- 17:29Speaker 6: bigger problem here is that what's.
- 17:30Speaker 10: Your definition of widespread? By the way, is it one percent?
- 17:33Speaker 10: Is it two percent?
- 17:34Speaker 13: I don't know more than one hundreds?
- 17:37Speaker 6: What's your tolerance for this? My hold on my tolerance
- 17:41Speaker 6: is zero.
- 17:42Speaker 4: That's what eventually Scott Jennings was going to say there
- 17:45Speaker 4: after asking Abby to actually confirm the thing that matters
- 17:48Speaker 4: the most, what is your tolerance?
- 17:50Speaker 6: How much fraud is okay for you?
- 17:52Speaker 4: Because it's the you know, it's the slippery slope version
- 17:56Speaker 4: of a discussion that I'm amazed we even have to have.
- 18:00Speaker 4: People should think that any amount of fraud is bad
- 18:03Speaker 4: and that we shouldn't have it and we don't want it.
- 18:06Speaker 4: And when you tell us it doesn't exist, you should
- 18:08Speaker 4: actually be telling us the truth.
- 18:10Speaker 6: And when you acknowledge that you weren't telling us.
- 18:12Speaker 4: The truth, that in fact it does exist, then you
- 18:14Speaker 4: go the road of all right, we were wrong. We're
- 18:17Speaker 4: going to actually try to fix this now because we
- 18:19Speaker 4: realized is in fact a real thing, instead of just
- 18:22Speaker 4: shoving the goalposts a little bit further and saying, well,
- 18:25Speaker 4: it's there, but it's not that bad. By the way,
- 18:27Speaker 4: I want to play one other piece of audio that
- 18:29Speaker 4: I thought was pretty funny. Javier Bisera is certainly not
- 18:33Speaker 4: a guy that's liked by a lot of people on
- 18:35Speaker 4: my side of the political aisle, someone who worked for
- 18:38Speaker 4: President Biden, someone who has some weird positions on some things.
- 18:43Speaker 4: One of those weird positions is on street tacos in California.
- 18:47Speaker 4: This went very viral, and I figure this would be
- 18:50Speaker 4: offensive to a whole lot of Texans who like themselves
- 18:53Speaker 4: some text mechs because it sounds like Javier Bisera is
- 18:56Speaker 4: saying some street tacos are much better than others ought
- 19:00Speaker 4: to know which cart to go to, and he said
- 19:02Speaker 4: it in a way that showed a certain level of
- 19:04Speaker 4: anger that I'm not used to a lot of politicians
- 19:07Speaker 4: having specifically about tacos.
- 19:09Speaker 14: Here we go, whether you are new to our state
- 19:11Speaker 14: in visiting, and we hope you do spend some money.
- 19:13Speaker 14: And if you're going to buy a street talk, will
- 19:15Speaker 14: buy a real street talk word not if not something
- 19:18Speaker 14: from one of these, you.
- 19:19Speaker 6: Know, one of these, I'll leave it at that.
- 19:23Speaker 4: How dao is that? Don't you buy a street taco
- 19:26Speaker 4: from a white guy? How dare you even think about
- 19:29Speaker 4: buying a street taco from a white guy he doesn't
- 19:31Speaker 4: know how to make a taco.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Look, I'll tell you two things.
- 19:33Speaker 4: And actually I do want to play this audio again
- 19:35Speaker 4: because I really enjoy it, because I can tell he's
- 19:37Speaker 4: about to drop the F bomb and then stops himself.
- 19:40Speaker 4: That's how passionate Javier Besserra is in the world of taco.
- 19:43Speaker 14: Whether you are new to our state in visiting, and
- 19:45Speaker 14: we hope you do spend some money, and if you're
- 19:47Speaker 14: going to buy a street thalk, will buy a real
- 19:49Speaker 14: street talk word, not if not something from one of these.
- 19:53Speaker 4: Yeah, he's that passionate. But here I'll tell you two things.
- 19:57Speaker 4: And I mentioned it a second ago, I'll mention it again.
- 19:59Speaker 4: I am married to a Mexican. There is a difference
- 20:02Speaker 4: in street tacos. I'm not gonna pretend that's not true.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Some taste more authentically Mexican. Some taste more tax mechs
- 20:09Speaker 4: than American taco bell is not a representation of the
- 20:13Speaker 4: type of taco you would get in Mexico. But to
- 20:16Speaker 4: be this level angry and to tell, like the tourists
- 20:19Speaker 4: of California that if you come here and you're gonna
- 20:21Speaker 4: spend money and give it to us, we're gonna get
- 20:23Speaker 4: taxpayer dollars from the things you're spending. You better not
- 20:26Speaker 4: buy a taco that we don't want you to buy.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Only buy the good ones. Stay away from whitey is
- 20:31Speaker 4: what I heard him say basically there. I'm sure he'll
- 20:34Speaker 4: tell me that I'm crazy for saying it, but I
- 20:36Speaker 4: just thought that was hilarious. And by the way, as
- 20:39Speaker 4: I say all this, I'm gonna say one last thing
- 20:41Speaker 4: that I probably shouldn't say that might actually get me
- 20:44Speaker 4: in a little bit of trouble, but darn it, who cares.
- 20:46Speaker 6: We're in this trust tree together. Let's go ahead and
- 20:48Speaker 6: do it.
- 20:48Speaker 4: If I go to Chipotle and it's a very white
- 20:51Speaker 4: kid that's gonna wrap my burrito, I know it's not
- 20:54Speaker 4: gonna go as well.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Buy and large it usually and goes a burrito. It's
- 20:57Speaker 6: hard to wrap. I can't do it that.
- 21:00Speaker 4: We need a certain skill set to make it so
- 21:01Speaker 4: it doesn't immediately fall apart when I bite into it.
- 21:04Speaker 4: And so I'm not saying that there aren't certain skills
- 21:08Speaker 4: in our society that seem to be cultural that some
- 21:11Speaker 4: of us have and some of us don't, and that tacos,
- 21:13Speaker 4: if I'm looking for authentically Mexican, are in fact more
- 21:16Speaker 4: delicious from some and not others. I'm just saying it's
- 21:19Speaker 4: such a silly thing to be up in arms about,
- 21:21Speaker 4: and specifically when you're in a place like California or here,
- 21:26Speaker 4: in a place that made tex Mechs famous throughout the nation.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Something that tastes American and also Mexican not so bad,
- 21:35Speaker 4: just very different from something that's supposed to taste authentically
- 21:38Speaker 4: like either one, but all right, I'll take a break.
- 21:40Speaker 6: A lot coming up.
- 21:41Speaker 4: This is the Craig Collins Show KSV the Voice of Texas.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Thrilled to be with you as always.
- 21:48Speaker 15: More, Miss Kevin o'haraw with o'haran Company real Estate, our

- 21:57Speaker 15: Evident, that all men are created equal, that they are
- 22:00Speaker 15: endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among

- 22:07Speaker 15: secure these rights, if governments our instituted among men, deriving

- 23:10Speaker 16: across your screen. Remember you're always going to get a
- 23:13Speaker 16: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 23:16Speaker 16: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 23:18Speaker 16: with somebody who gives a you know what, whether or
- 23:20Speaker 16: not you're happy in the end. At Baker Mortgage, we

- 23:47Speaker 4: one three.
- 23:48Speaker 2: When it comes to go.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Run stores, no, no one knows more.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Than Nadanta, we gotta call late New Year's Eve. I'll
- 23:57Speaker 2: father with big plans for his family The next day
- 23:59Speaker 2: said his gruage or spring just snapped. He couldn't get
- 24:01Speaker 2: his car out and wouldn't be able to get his
- 24:03Speaker 2: family to where they needed to go. He felt stuck
- 24:06Speaker 2: and alone. So we showed up best with the right
- 24:09Speaker 2: spring and the right parts to fix it right.
- 24:10Speaker 6: We didn't talk about the price.
- 24:12Speaker 2: We didn't wait till the morning. We fixed it right then.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Because at Garage Door Doctor, it's never just about the job.
- 24:18Speaker 2: It's about the person behind it, the dad, the veteran,
- 24:21Speaker 2: the grandpa, the neighbor.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Hi, I'm Tommy, mellow.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Owner of Garage Door Doctor. When you need help, we're
- 24:27Speaker 2: the ones.

- 24:36Speaker 2: a lifetime. Because we're proud to serve the people who
- 24:38Speaker 2: rely on us.
- 24:39Speaker 17: When it comes to the rons, does no one knows
- 24:42Speaker 17: more than the dog door doctor.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Oh, this is a win win across the board.
- 24:51Speaker 18: It enables people to get into the capital markets early,
- 24:55Speaker 18: and as you know, the capitol markets is one of
- 24:56Speaker 18: the things that makes the US so dynamic. It's that
- 25:00Speaker 18: hacks to for compounding, which means it can grow and
- 25:03Speaker 18: it increases financial literacy.
- 25:05Speaker 1: So this is a win across the board.
- 25:08Speaker 11: It kind of makes me wonder why we didn't think
- 25:10Speaker 11: of this sooner.
- 25:11Speaker 12: Now we did, but you know that there've been there's
- 25:14Speaker 12: been lots of discussions about this in the financial world,
- 25:17Speaker 12: but no leader has taken it on. And I think
- 25:20Speaker 12: it's important, especially as it brings in the lower income
- 25:24Speaker 12: people into it early on.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And that's a really important thing.
- 25:28Speaker 6: Because yes, I'll stop it there.
- 25:30Speaker 4: This is the Craig Collins show KSV seven hundred, the
- 25:33Speaker 4: Voice of Texas. They're talking about Trump accounts and how
- 25:36Speaker 4: awesome it is to get a three thousand bucks from
- 25:38Speaker 4: the government. If you have a kid that kid gets
- 25:41Speaker 4: an account, a thousand dollars goes in it, and how
- 25:43Speaker 4: much money that can grow to, especially if you throw
- 25:46Speaker 4: a little extraction there if you can over time.
- 25:49Speaker 6: Why didn't we do this before?
- 25:51Speaker 4: Everybody loved it and nobody took the action necessary to
- 25:54Speaker 4: make it a thing.
- 25:55Speaker 6: Now that it is a thing, hopefully it's going to
- 25:57Speaker 6: be wonderful. Not for me. I didn't get one. You
- 26:01Speaker 6: didn't get one.
- 26:02Speaker 4: That can be the thing we're most sad about that
- 26:04Speaker 4: when we were, you know, born, that they weren't doing this,
- 26:07Speaker 4: but now they are, so I just I really like it,
- 26:09Speaker 4: and I think I should talk about the Trump accounts more.
- 26:13Speaker 4: There is also a discussion about fraud that there deserves
- 26:16Speaker 4: to be had more. Fox and Friends this morning talked
- 26:20Speaker 4: more about some giant arrests in the world of fraud.
- 26:24Speaker 4: And it's crazy when you talk about medicaid and Medicare fraud,
- 26:29Speaker 4: how how ridiculous it gets. Let's play that first, because
- 26:32Speaker 4: I have some audio I want to play from CNN
- 26:35Speaker 4: more polling data from Harry Enton that's demonstrating how popular
- 26:40Speaker 4: President Trump is, which you've probably heard before. But there's
- 26:45Speaker 4: some new versions of it that I think matter. But
- 26:47Speaker 4: before let's let's do the Fox News thing, because this
- 26:51Speaker 4: is this is a big deal. One of the people
- 26:53Speaker 4: recently captured who was hiding abroad that had done medical
- 26:58Speaker 4: fraud and Medicare fraud of all kinds. He had successfully
- 27:02Speaker 4: stolen half a billion dollars five hundred and forty seven
- 27:08Speaker 4: million dollars in Medicare fraud, mostly by fraudulently billing for
- 27:13Speaker 4: cancer services, which makes him a unique piece of crap.
- 27:16Speaker 4: But here, let's do this.
- 27:17Speaker 11: There was another person who was napped who's on this list.
- 27:20Speaker 11: He it's alleged that he has five hundred and forty
- 27:25Speaker 11: seven million dollars in Medicaid fraud. He's a fugitive overseas
- 27:29Speaker 11: and he was apprehended in the Middle East. He was
- 27:31Speaker 11: returned to the United States on July twenty first, yesterday.
- 27:34Speaker 11: He was carrying a fake Mexican passport under a false name.
- 27:38Speaker 11: He has he has these labs and he's billing Medicare
- 27:40Speaker 11: for unnecessary cancer genetic tests each each time he is fraudulent,
- 27:46Speaker 11: he's charging the government ten to twenty thousand dollars. And
- 27:49Speaker 11: now he is a multimillionaire because of this.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and by the way, I know it's you know
- 27:55Speaker 4: TV that I'm playing, and I know for radio you
- 27:57Speaker 4: can't see the thing. We do live stream we livestream
- 28:01Speaker 4: in a bunch of places on YouTube, on x and
- 28:04Speaker 4: on Rumble for this show, and then some of our
- 28:06Speaker 4: shows even are on our Facebook page as well. I
- 28:09Speaker 4: think that's KSV Radio for everything except Facebook, and then
- 28:13Speaker 4: for Facebook, I think it's KSEV seven hundred. I think
- 28:16Speaker 4: is actually the thing you look up but type in
- 28:19Speaker 4: our call letters and you should find us on any
- 28:20Speaker 4: of the social media.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Anyway, if you were watching.
- 28:24Speaker 4: You would see the big info graphic that's up as
- 28:27Speaker 4: Fox is talking about it, and the ridiculous amount of
- 28:30Speaker 4: money that a bunch of people who are still FBI's
- 28:33Speaker 4: most wanted fraudsters or those who've actually been apprehended have
- 28:36Speaker 4: gotten from our country. The two at the front of
- 28:39Speaker 4: the list, the one they just arrested and one that's
- 28:40Speaker 4: still at large, both over one hundred million dollars, one
- 28:44Speaker 4: of them actually one hundred and forty two and then
- 28:46Speaker 4: this one five hundred and forty seven million, but a
- 28:49Speaker 4: bunch of other ones five.
- 28:50Speaker 6: Million, ten million, twenty million. This also matters.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Here's the thing, and I'll play the data or the
- 28:57Speaker 4: Harry Enton stuff about the Trump popularity and how he's
- 29:01Speaker 4: still doing well with his base for the red pillars.
- 29:05Speaker 4: That's what Dan Bongino calls them, the people out there
- 29:07Speaker 4: that think everything is terrible even though they voted the
- 29:10Speaker 4: side and power into power. The most valuable thing to
- 29:13Speaker 4: say is that some of what you most wanted is happening.
- 29:17Speaker 4: In the world of fraud, especially a medical fraud. They're
- 29:20Speaker 4: uncovering a tremendous amount of it. And I keep talking
- 29:23Speaker 4: about that on the show because I feel like I'm
- 29:26Speaker 4: one of the only persons doing one of the only people,
- 29:28Speaker 4: excuse me doing it. They didn't feel like there's a
- 29:31Speaker 4: lot of people out there constantly saying, hey, this fraud
- 29:33Speaker 4: over here discovered, not just in the world of say,
- 29:36Speaker 4: voter fraud, and that's the whole thing that's now in
- 29:39Speaker 4: the news, but the actual money stuff that we keep
- 29:42Speaker 4: getting back. This seems to be good. This seems to
- 29:45Speaker 4: be a campaign promise kept. Here's a little bit of
- 29:47Speaker 4: Harriet and on the popularity of the current president.
- 29:50Speaker 13: Trump is still very popular with Republicans. Just take a
- 29:53Speaker 13: look here. Okay, twenty first century own party approval rating
- 29:56Speaker 13: about at this point a second term. We got Trump,
- 29:58Speaker 13: we got Obama, we got books. Look, the real fairly popular,
- 30:01Speaker 13: but the one who is the most popular, and we
- 30:04Speaker 13: have seen this time and time out. No matter when
- 30:06Speaker 13: you look, is Donald John Trump. He's the only one
- 30:08Speaker 13: who's over eighty percent. Eighty three percent of Republicans still
- 30:11Speaker 13: approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing as president.
- 30:14Speaker 13: He still has that magic touch. We'll see if it
- 30:17Speaker 13: carries over to South Carolina. But we've seen it in
- 30:19Speaker 13: primaries this year, centate primaries, and that is because he
- 30:21Speaker 13: is still a very popular man, historically popular when it
- 30:24Speaker 13: comes to his own party.
- 30:25Speaker 4: Yeah, And the reason I played this, I think I
- 30:27Speaker 4: played it yesterday, but I wanted to play it again
- 30:28Speaker 4: today is that there is such a misunderstanding. I still
- 30:31Speaker 4: hear people talk about, you know, polling and data and
- 30:35Speaker 4: even like what's going on with Iran right now, and
- 30:37Speaker 4: how all of this has really truly harmed the popularity
- 30:41Speaker 4: of this current president. And when you're actually looking at
- 30:44Speaker 4: this side of the political aisle, when you're looking at
- 30:47Speaker 4: people that put him into power, No is the simple
- 30:50Speaker 4: answer to that discussion. And it's not even like sort
- 30:54Speaker 4: of a no, It's a definitive no. In the world
- 30:56Speaker 4: of how much he actually is in fact still retaining
- 31:00Speaker 4: the vast majority of support that you'd expect him to
- 31:02Speaker 4: have from that side of the aisle, so he won't
- 31:05Speaker 4: be the reason that the Republicans don't do well in
- 31:09Speaker 4: the midterm elections. I think the only true reason that
- 31:14Speaker 4: Republicans may struggle. And I know a lot of people
- 31:16Speaker 4: are saying this, and I've kind of rejected it. I
- 31:20Speaker 4: should say that about this show, a part of me
- 31:22Speaker 4: has really assumed that it wasn't actually going to happen,
- 31:26Speaker 4: that Republicans were going to do better than expected. And
- 31:29Speaker 4: part of the reason why is that thing always occurs
- 31:32Speaker 4: every time they tell us blue wave, red wave, whatever
- 31:35Speaker 4: it might be, the actual version of the thing that
- 31:37Speaker 4: happens always winds up being less. And maybe part of
- 31:41Speaker 4: the reason it does is because they tell us so
- 31:43Speaker 4: much what they think the thing is that will happen,
- 31:46Speaker 4: Like they project so many times that oh, this side's
- 31:50Speaker 4: going to lose so poorly that maybe those people show
- 31:53Speaker 4: up more. Maybe it's a good thing that they keep
- 31:55Speaker 4: telling us that Republicans are going to lose, because maybe
- 31:57Speaker 4: that means more Republicans vote. But what I actually think
- 32:00Speaker 4: about it, what's most amazing to me is how overblown
- 32:04Speaker 4: those positions wind up being. As to the actual outcome
- 32:07Speaker 4: of the election, I think what truly will That's what
- 32:10Speaker 4: I was getting at, dictate. The outcome of the midterms
- 32:14Speaker 4: is how many people are gullible enough to believe that
- 32:18Speaker 4: everything being promised to them by the Socialist Democrats, by
- 32:22Speaker 4: the Democratic Socialist Party, by the tall ricos, when they're
- 32:27Speaker 4: saying the things they actually believe and not pretending that
- 32:29Speaker 4: they think some other stuff. Now because they realized how
- 32:32Speaker 4: hard it is, he realized how hard it is to
- 32:35Speaker 4: get elected with some of the crazy stuff he said
- 32:37Speaker 4: in the past. When all of those things happen, all
- 32:40Speaker 4: will be left with is how many people believe them
- 32:44Speaker 4: that they would do it, and for some reason, some crazy,
- 32:47Speaker 4: unknown reason to me, believed it would actually be good
- 32:50Speaker 4: for us, because I think a vast majority of people
- 32:53Speaker 4: understand that it would.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Be terrible for us, horrible for us.
- 32:57Speaker 4: In fact, if we do something at all resembling say Cuba,
- 33:01Speaker 4: that would be a bad place for us to go
- 33:03Speaker 4: as a country. Sunny Hostin also complained again about the
- 33:07Speaker 4: Trump administration on the view This was I think about
- 33:12Speaker 4: a black people and how they need reparations. Look, I
- 33:15Speaker 4: don't want to talk about race all the time in
- 33:18Speaker 4: the show. I'll tell you that there's a few topics
- 33:20Speaker 4: right now that I feel like are so profoundly in
- 33:23Speaker 4: the avenue of race. But I also won't shy away
- 33:27Speaker 4: from it. If this is what other people want to
- 33:29Speaker 4: scream and yell about, and this is the thing that
- 33:31Speaker 4: they think will mobilize their side to vote that way,
- 33:34Speaker 4: and they think by getting me to speak about it
- 33:37Speaker 4: or get the other side to react to it, that
- 33:39Speaker 4: somehow well out ourselves as racist. Fine, let me use
- 33:43Speaker 4: emotion and intellect and intellect and intelligence or whatever to
- 33:47Speaker 4: actually get this conversation done without having to lean on
- 33:51Speaker 4: I hate it because I hate people who look a
- 33:53Speaker 4: certain way, because that is not all at all the
- 33:55Speaker 4: reason that I would object to something like this. But
- 33:58Speaker 4: here's Hostin again going viral, bringing out one of the
- 34:02Speaker 4: I think, you know, like bingo card versions of a
- 34:05Speaker 4: discussion when you're talking about race and trying to essentially
- 34:09Speaker 4: just buy people's votes.
- 34:10Speaker 17: I think the reason, the real reason behind this is
- 34:14Speaker 17: about financial repair to the descendants of the enslaved Africans reparations.
- 34:23Speaker 17: I think this reflects a really broad effort by the
- 34:27Speaker 17: Trump administration to reshape the way the nation's history is
- 34:31Speaker 17: told so that this country does not have to pay
- 34:34Speaker 17: black people for the forced labor and the unpaid labor
- 34:38Speaker 17: that built this country. I really think that's what this
- 34:40Speaker 17: is all.
- 34:41Speaker 4: A couple things, So first and foremost, to actually argue
- 34:44Speaker 4: the point she's making, we can't pay anybody that built
- 34:48Speaker 4: this country because they're not alive anymore, anyone that actually
- 34:51Speaker 4: created anything that did it in a way that was unfair.
- 34:54Speaker 4: Not only are they not alive, it's incredibly unlikely that
- 34:57Speaker 4: any of their direct descent I think all of their
- 34:58Speaker 4: direct descendants all so not alive. We have multiple generations
- 35:01Speaker 4: here where we can't reach far enough back to give
- 35:04Speaker 4: someone who did something that you're talking about the money
- 35:08Speaker 4: that you're saying.
- 35:09Speaker 6: That they deserved. And I would agree that that person
- 35:11Speaker 6: deserved it.
- 35:12Speaker 4: And there are a lot of people I've talked about
- 35:14Speaker 4: this before within this actual topic who live here that
- 35:18Speaker 4: aren't descendants of black people who lived here before in
- 35:21Speaker 4: the United States, the descendants of black people who lived
- 35:24Speaker 4: somewhere else. So would those individuals also get a check
- 35:28Speaker 4: if they didn't actually have a direct descendant who was
- 35:31Speaker 4: a slave, And then.
- 35:31Speaker 6: How would how would you parse that out? How would
- 35:34Speaker 6: that go?
- 35:34Speaker 4: Within the black community to say, well, not every black
- 35:38Speaker 4: person gets this money. They're going to write a check,
- 35:40Speaker 4: but we really have to do some ancestry DNA testing first.
- 35:44Speaker 6: Obviously it's convoluted. But here's the more important point.
- 35:48Speaker 4: And this is the thing I was thinking in a
- 35:50Speaker 4: different discussion which also has race as a factor in it,
- 35:53Speaker 4: when they talk about people who are here illegally in voting,
- 35:56Speaker 4: and actually Jake Tapper recently made a joke that I
- 35:59Speaker 4: thought was hlarious where he acted as though it was
- 36:02Speaker 4: crazy that people would vote who are here illegally.
- 36:05Speaker 6: He's like, why would you do it? And of course I.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Can answer that question, why someone who's here illegally would
- 36:11Speaker 4: vote here. I'll play the Jack Taper Taper excuse me
- 36:14Speaker 4: audio first so that you can see I'm not lying
- 36:17Speaker 4: to you.
- 36:17Speaker 6: But then I'll react to this.
- 36:19Speaker 4: I'll react to Sonny in reparations, I'll react to a
- 36:21Speaker 4: bunch of topics all at the same time. We'll wrap
- 36:24Speaker 4: it all up in a nice little bow.
- 36:26Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 36:26Speaker 14: You're in the country illegally, and you get a letter
- 36:29Speaker 14: saying that you can vote, and you know you're not
- 36:31Speaker 14: supposed to.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Not only you're not supposed to vote. You're not supposed
- 36:34Speaker 1: to be there. Why do you vote? Like?
- 36:36Speaker 6: Why would you do it?
- 36:39Speaker 1: I mean, but I just like wonder, like.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Okay, I'll stop right there. So here's the thing. And
- 36:44Speaker 4: I'm gonna lump another group of people into this category.
- 36:47Speaker 4: And you might not think they all deserve to be
- 36:49Speaker 4: in the same bucket of people. Bucket of deplorables is
- 36:54Speaker 4: what Hillary Clinton would call people. I'm not going to
- 36:56Speaker 4: do that, but just different groups of people all together.
- 37:00Speaker 4: You have young people that really want their student loans forgiven.
- 37:04Speaker 4: You have people that are from other countries that really
- 37:07Speaker 4: want to be citizens of the United States via the
- 37:09Speaker 4: waving of a magic wand. And you have in this case,
- 37:12Speaker 4: Sonny Houston saying that a whole bunch of black people
- 37:15Speaker 4: would like money for reparations. What's the through line of
- 37:18Speaker 4: all of that discussion? Money, money, and other forms of
- 37:23Speaker 4: value just being given to you. This is just buying votes.
- 37:28Speaker 4: The only version of discussion that the Democrats think really
- 37:32Speaker 4: benefits them is, Hey, you person there that's thinking about
- 37:36Speaker 4: voting for one side or the other, what if you
- 37:38Speaker 4: had money? If we get I feel like I'm quoting
- 37:42Speaker 4: a comedy bit that you probably don't know about I
- 37:45Speaker 4: can't help it. It's John Mulaney, and it's pretty funny
- 37:47Speaker 4: about how his college demands money from him after he's graduated.
- 37:51Speaker 6: But nonetheless, and he says it like that.
- 37:53Speaker 4: Nonetheless, what I think is funny is that this is
- 37:56Speaker 4: obviously a broken way to do things within our society,
- 38:00Speaker 4: and yet the rise of democratic socialism feels incredibly tied
- 38:06Speaker 4: to the basics of this concept. That concept being the
- 38:10Speaker 4: government is going to give you some more free stuff
- 38:13Speaker 4: if you vote Democrats into power. And the problem with
- 38:16Speaker 4: that offer, and I'm gonna one of several, let's say,
- 38:19Speaker 4: one of several problems with that offer, is that they
- 38:22Speaker 4: don't have enough free stuff to give it to everybody.
- 38:26Speaker 4: And so what do they do. Do they take more
- 38:28Speaker 4: stuff that's not free, that's from someone that they said
- 38:31Speaker 4: doesn't deserve it, and then give it to someone that
- 38:33Speaker 4: they said is or the case that we've seen every
- 38:36Speaker 4: time that communism actually became a thing, they take stuff
- 38:40Speaker 4: and then they keep it all and then nobody gets anything.
- 38:43Speaker 4: And instead of you know, me being a promised my
- 38:45Speaker 4: free cookie of citizenship or student loan forgiveness or reparations
- 38:52Speaker 4: or whatever you just name it go across the board
- 38:54Speaker 4: instead of me getting my free my free ataboy for
- 38:57Speaker 4: voting Democrats into power. I said, they're scratching my head.
- 39:01Speaker 4: My life is no better, and all of a sudden
- 39:03Speaker 4: they're buying their third mansion. There's a reason I know
- 39:07Speaker 4: that I'm preaching to the choir, And to be honest,
- 39:09Speaker 4: I've been doing a lot of radio, so I'm using
- 39:11Speaker 4: this as sort of a Catharsis right now on the air.
- 39:15Speaker 4: But there's a reason that so many people in politics
- 39:18Speaker 4: go in at a certain income and come out at
- 39:21Speaker 4: a very different net worth. They come out worth millions
- 39:24Speaker 4: of dollars, and there's a reason that they're then advocating
- 39:27Speaker 4: for you to give them more. They're like, I want
- 39:31Speaker 4: more than I've had so far. Actually, you know, it's
- 39:33Speaker 4: funny to me. I'm not going to villify the rich.
- 39:37Speaker 4: That's a very simplistic thing. That's a thing that a
- 39:40Speaker 4: lot of people on the left do all the time.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Like even though someone's successful like Elon Muskin might create
- 39:46Speaker 4: a whole bunch of jobs, they're somehow bad and terrible.
- 39:49Speaker 6: That's what I'm supposed to believe.
- 39:50Speaker 4: I'm not going to villify the rich, but I will
- 39:52Speaker 4: say this about people that are that are uber, uber wealthy,
- 39:56Speaker 4: the the you know, the elites of the elites, because
- 39:59Speaker 4: I've I've heard them say in interviews, even the Warren
- 40:01Speaker 4: Buffetts of the world, I think have admitted this. At
- 40:04Speaker 4: a certain point, when you know that you're taking care
- 40:07Speaker 4: of when you know that your direct family descendants are
- 40:10Speaker 4: taking care of, it sort of just becomes like a
- 40:12Speaker 4: mental thing, like you just want to acquire more for
- 40:16Speaker 4: the sake of acquiring more. Like you're no longer motivated
- 40:19Speaker 4: to give yourself a better life. That part's taken care of.
- 40:23Speaker 4: You're motivated to have the largest amount of success you can,
- 40:27Speaker 4: which this isn't a bad thing. Again, I'm not vilifying
- 40:30Speaker 4: this as an idea, but you see that in politics.
- 40:34Speaker 4: You see the politician say I want the same amount.
- 40:38Speaker 4: I am now a multi millionaire, and I made it
- 40:41Speaker 4: through stealing money, taxpayer dollars, in all kinds of ways,
- 40:44Speaker 4: insider trading, you name it, whatever they're doing, and they
- 40:48Speaker 4: just get this obsession that seems so similar to the
- 40:51Speaker 4: thing that you hear the ultra successful person is doing,
- 40:54Speaker 4: that's actually creating jobs, that's actually benefiting the world.
- 40:58Speaker 6: Well, you know, making a bunch of money.
- 41:00Speaker 4: They're just making it in their own corner of the world,
- 41:02Speaker 4: and they just want that to get bigger. So all
- 41:05Speaker 4: of this to me feels as overly simplified as I
- 41:09Speaker 4: have now made it. And you can say I've created
- 41:11Speaker 4: a straw man argument if.
- 41:12Speaker 6: You want to.
- 41:13Speaker 4: All of it is just to make them richer. And
- 41:16Speaker 4: if we can see through it, if we can understand it,
- 41:18Speaker 4: if we can identify it when it's happening, we as
- 41:22Speaker 4: a society as a whole can reject it, and the
- 41:25Speaker 4: people who are being used, the people who are being
- 41:27Speaker 4: told vote for me. Like Jerseys sent out six thousand,
- 41:31Speaker 4: six hundred whatever, it was accidental registrations to people who
- 41:35Speaker 4: are here illegally, knowing full well that those people might
- 41:38Speaker 4: get caught if they choose to vote, and then they
- 41:40Speaker 4: get kicked out, and the conspiracist theorist in some of
- 41:43Speaker 4: us would say they didn't care about the person getting
- 41:47Speaker 4: I know all of us would say illegal immigration, you
- 41:50Speaker 4: can't stay anyway. I'm not trying to advocate for that,
- 41:52Speaker 4: but what I believe is possible here is that they're
- 41:55Speaker 4: being used. People are always being used by the political
- 41:58Speaker 4: party that claims they're protecting them, and for some reason,
- 42:02Speaker 4: some way, those people don't see it. The people who
- 42:05Speaker 4: are advocating for the side that has burned them a
- 42:09Speaker 4: thousand times before, has promised them something and not delivered,
- 42:13Speaker 4: they're like, yeah, but this time it's going to work.
- 42:16Speaker 4: And actually I think about that a lot in the
- 42:17Speaker 4: context to Houston before we take our next break, our
- 42:22Speaker 4: last break on the show, because it's only a one
- 42:24Speaker 4: hour show here, which is great, but so very often
- 42:27Speaker 4: when I talk to people here in this city about
- 42:31Speaker 4: all of the things going on in the world of politics,
- 42:34Speaker 4: and you know, all the different races where you could
- 42:36Speaker 4: vote this way, and especially a lot of the people
- 42:39Speaker 4: who feel like they have no shot at actually winning,
- 42:42Speaker 4: and there's some that I think do. Orlando Sanchez I
- 42:45Speaker 4: think does have a shot at winning his race, which
- 42:48Speaker 4: would be cool and it would be surprising, and there's
- 42:51Speaker 4: others like him. But you know, again, the thing that
- 42:55Speaker 4: I think is most important about this discussion and the
- 42:58Speaker 4: vast majority of races where people make the obvious assumption
- 43:01Speaker 4: that a Democrat's going to remain in power in Harris
- 43:04Speaker 4: County is why, like, if things are not going well,
- 43:08Speaker 4: if you think crime is bad, if you think you
- 43:10Speaker 4: know there's disparity in ways, that's not fair. If you
- 43:13Speaker 4: think there's a lot of problems, why keep the same
- 43:15Speaker 4: side in power that's been inside, that's been in power
- 43:18Speaker 4: for so long?
- 43:19Speaker 6: And nobody can answer that question.
- 43:21Speaker 4: And yet they'll continue to do it, and they'll do
- 43:23Speaker 4: it here, they'll do it in other cities, they'll do
- 43:25Speaker 4: it in parts of our country, and in twenty twenty
- 43:28Speaker 4: six they might wind up doing it throughout the entire
- 43:31Speaker 4: country via at least the House and hopefully not but
- 43:34Speaker 4: potentially the Senate as well. And then guess what we'll have,
- 43:38Speaker 4: will have the Biden form of government again, which was
- 43:41Speaker 4: worse for us, no matter how bad you think things
- 43:44Speaker 4: have gotten, no matter how bad gas prices or anything
- 43:47Speaker 4: else is, it was worse a short time ago. How
- 43:51Speaker 4: is that not a winning message? All right, we'll take
- 43:53Speaker 4: a break. A lot coming up in a very short
- 43:55Speaker 4: amount of time. Almost done the soapbox version of the
- 43:58Speaker 4: show today. Brian noon will be here tomorrow. Brian Noonan
- 44:03Speaker 4: is my friend who is absolutely on the other side
- 44:05Speaker 4: of the aisle politically for me. The Amigos do this
- 44:08Speaker 4: on Friday where they sit down and the judge for
- 44:11Speaker 4: twenty plus years now has been one of three people
- 44:14Speaker 4: that host that show and throws his opinion out there,
- 44:17Speaker 4: and a lot of the listeners argue with him, just
- 44:19Speaker 4: like Ben and Paul do, and a couple of the
- 44:22Speaker 4: listeners probably agree with him. I'm gonna do the same
- 44:25Speaker 4: thing regularly on Thursday We're Noonan who I don't know
- 44:28Speaker 4: if I'd always describe as a moderate Democrat, but certainly
- 44:31Speaker 4: I would in a lot of cases jumps in the
- 44:33Speaker 4: show and talks to me about topics where we differ
- 44:37Speaker 4: pretty consistently.
- 44:38Speaker 6: So that's coming up tomorrow. Quick break though.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Right now, this is the Craig Collins Show, KSV The
- 44:44Speaker 4: Voice of Texas.

- 47:44Speaker 4: This is the Craig Collins Show KSCV seven hundred, the
- 47:48Speaker 4: Voice of Texas. Thrilled to be with you for just
- 47:50Speaker 4: a few more minutes before Joe PAGs takes over after me.
- 47:54Speaker 4: I really love this viral video that's out there. It
- 47:58Speaker 4: is the There I Ruined It guy. He puts up
- 48:01Speaker 4: these great mashups and these silly songs all the time,
- 48:04Speaker 4: and this one is what a Taylor Swift song sounds
- 48:07Speaker 4: like to a non Swifty. So I'll say this to
- 48:10Speaker 4: anyone who doesn't notice this is not, in fact a
- 48:13Speaker 4: real song.
- 48:14Speaker 6: I'm not a swifty.
- 48:15Speaker 4: If you're not a Swifty, you might immediately think that
- 48:17Speaker 4: it is just the latest Taylor Swift thing, because the
- 48:21Speaker 4: hilarious statement here that I think is true is a
- 48:25Speaker 4: lot of her songs sound pretty similar. Here is the
- 48:27Speaker 4: fake version of the song that we hear every time
- 48:31Speaker 4: Taylor Swift comes on the radio and we're not the
- 48:34Speaker 4: dedicated hardcore Swifty fan.
- 48:39Speaker 23: Get away car at the front of the bar. It's like,
- 48:42Speaker 23: oh my god, get away in our car. Bad girl
- 48:45Speaker 23: gret lives, stay out late, I'll be your press. Mistake
- 48:51Speaker 23: brings a little ice.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Sight's not so nice.
- 48:54Speaker 23: Girls don't play nice.
- 49:00Speaker 6: Yeah, I just thought you should know.
- 49:08Speaker 4: I was not right there. I got another twenty seconds
- 49:10Speaker 4: that I do want to play. But that's that's the
- 49:12Speaker 4: Taylor Swift song. She says a lot of very specific
- 49:15Speaker 4: things about stuff she's doing, whether it's eating a bowl
- 49:19Speaker 4: of rice, which I really like, there just being around.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Usually somebody breaks up with somebody and somebody's upset about it,
- 49:25Speaker 4: and they they thought they were gonna like each other,
- 49:28Speaker 4: but then they didn't. But here is a continued typical
- 49:31Speaker 4: Taylor Swift song to a non Swifty because they all
- 49:34Speaker 4: sound a lot close like the menu had it.
- 49:36Speaker 23: Drive Through Kissing in the rain while the train goes
- 49:39Speaker 23: to che loves a speed bunk. Gotta ticket slow or
- 49:48Speaker 23: you're ruin your alignment and you spool.
- 49:50Speaker 13: Your coke, spill your coat.
- 49:55Speaker 6: That's my favorite part.
- 49:57Speaker 4: If you hit the speed bump too hard and you
- 49:58Speaker 4: ruin your alignment, because that does happen, and then you spill. Honestly,
- 50:01Speaker 4: if she sang about that, if she sang about like
- 50:04Speaker 4: mechanical issues with cars, I think I'd be in more.
- 50:07Speaker 4: I think I'd be more likely to listen to her
- 50:09Speaker 4: one of their silly piece of audio before we get
- 50:11Speaker 4: out of here.
- 50:12Speaker 18: That.
- 50:12Speaker 6: I also really liked.
- 50:14Speaker 4: A police in Massachusetts, Massachusetts arrested a guy that was
- 50:18Speaker 4: dressed like a mime. He was walking around in a
- 50:21Speaker 4: walking trail. I think he had like a top hat
- 50:23Speaker 4: and stuff on. Very creepy, weird dude, twenty nine year
- 50:26Speaker 4: old guy named her Nan Lux who was inevitably charged
- 50:30Speaker 4: with three counts of criminal harassment. But I really like
- 50:33Speaker 4: the way that the witnesses to the news team there
- 50:37Speaker 4: that I assume is on your side, most local news
- 50:40Speaker 4: teams are, but the way that they described him, because
- 50:42Speaker 4: some of it was pretty great.
- 50:44Speaker 8: I'm shocked.
- 50:45Speaker 13: I'm surprised. Because I walk here all the times.
- 50:48Speaker 6: I think I've seen this person maybe five times.
- 50:51Speaker 24: He passed me when I was going down the path.
- 50:54Speaker 24: Kind of freaked me out a bit. Top hat, tracular
- 50:57Speaker 24: paint on the face, black cape pan, real creepy.
- 51:00Speaker 5: That's creating a disturbance, and you know, harassing people.
- 51:04Speaker 15: That's just not appropriate, no matter what you call yourself
- 51:07Speaker 15: or do.
- 51:07Speaker 12: He was just kind of by the bushes by the water,
- 51:09Speaker 12: off the path, kind of stumbling around the bushes by himself.
- 51:12Speaker 5: And that was when I was starting to get a
- 51:13Speaker 5: little darker, so I got a little spooked.
- 51:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I gotta be honest.
- 51:16Speaker 4: He also sounds hammered by the end there when she's
- 51:18Speaker 4: describing as a dude stumbling around in the bushes.
- 51:20Speaker 6: But I love the guy.
- 51:21Speaker 4: That's like he had a top head, a cane, weird
- 51:24Speaker 4: dracula pain on his face.
- 51:26Speaker 24: Like this guy's I've had tracula paint on his face,
- 51:29Speaker 24: black cape cane, real creepy.
- 51:32Speaker 6: It sounds he sounds like the kind of guy you
- 51:33Speaker 6: would not want to bump into.
- 51:36Speaker 4: I've created a rule that I've talked about before in
- 51:38Speaker 4: the radio, and that rule is, or at least my
- 51:41Speaker 4: own version of it like my own set of standards
- 51:45Speaker 4: is that I am more creeped out, more intimidated by
- 51:48Speaker 4: someone who's doing something crazy in society who's also naked
- 51:52Speaker 4: than someone who's armed. I'm less afraid of someone armed
- 51:55Speaker 4: because typically I'm armed too, especially now that I live
- 51:58Speaker 4: in Texas. But on the crazy people who also get naked,
- 52:02Speaker 4: I just don't know what to expect there.
- 52:04Speaker 6: There's a whole new layer of this could be nuts.
- 52:07Speaker 4: I feel like this guy who's, you know, doing the
- 52:09Speaker 4: mime thing and harassing people, he's a tier under he's close,
- 52:14Speaker 4: but he's a tier under the naked.
- 52:15Speaker 6: Dude that I'm not sure what's going to happen with.
- 52:18Speaker 4: I don't want to be attacked or even interact with
- 52:21Speaker 4: a crazy dude dressed up like a mime who also
- 52:23Speaker 4: had a ridiculous amount of additional stuff, Like I didn't
- 52:26Speaker 4: know that mimes went the road of top hat and
- 52:29Speaker 4: cane and stuff. I thought it was just me and
- 52:32Speaker 4: the face paint and standing out in the street and
- 52:35Speaker 4: then I pantomime everything I do.
- 52:36Speaker 6: I didn't know. I guess I don't know the rules
- 52:39Speaker 6: in this situation, but I love it all right. We're
- 52:41Speaker 6: just about out of here.
- 52:42Speaker 4: The show is almost over thrilled to have you with
- 52:44Speaker 4: us every evening from six to seven o'clock on KSV
- 52:49Speaker 4: A seven hundred.
- 52:50Speaker 6: The Voice of Texas.
- 52:52Speaker 4: Before I go, I will tell you that I saw
- 52:54Speaker 4: one story about how terrible not having pennies is. They're
- 53:00Speaker 4: right about that. They're right about that. They might do
- 53:02Speaker 4: something about it. The government might somehow fix this. And
- 53:05Speaker 4: here's my advice to them. If they pass a rule
- 53:07Speaker 4: in the world of no pennies, it's got to be
- 53:10Speaker 4: price's right.
- 53:10Speaker 6: Rules. That means we always go down. You can't be over.
- 53:14Speaker 4: So if I'm fifty four, I get to pay you
- 53:16Speaker 4: fifty cents, not fifty five. The company cannot round up.
- 53:20Speaker 4: That's a problem I do not want to have, and
- 53:23Speaker 4: I think it'll work.
- 53:23Speaker 6: Out all right. That's it. That's the show.
- 53:25Speaker 4: See you guys next time. Craig Collins, the Voice of
- 53:27Speaker 4: Texas
