- Lucas: Hey Luna, ready for another episode of Learn Danish with Fexingo? Luna: Yes, I am! Last time we described animals at the zoo, right? Løven er stor, Elefanten er stor... Lucas: Exactly. Today we'll focus more on size: big, small, tall. Let's start with 'big' again. Løven er stor. Luna: Løven er stor. The lion is big. Lucas: Perfect. Now 'small' — lille. For example, Musen er lille. The mouse is small. Luna: Musen er lille. That's cute. The mouse is small. Lucas: Now 'tall' — høj. Giraffen er høj. The giraffe is tall. Luna: Giraffen er høj. That's a long word. Giraffen er høj. Lucas: Good. Let's practice with a dog. Hunden er lille. The dog is small. Luna: Hunden er lille. Can I say Hunden er stor if it's a big dog? Lucas: Absolutely! Hunden er stor. And Elefanten er stor. You could say Hunden er høj. But usually we use 'stor' for size and 'høj' for height. Luna: Right. So Hunden er høj for a tall dog, Hunden er stor for a big dog. Lucas: Exactly. Let's repeat all today's phrases. Løven er stor. Luna: Løven er stor. Lucas: Musen er lille. Luna: Musen er lille. Lucas: Giraffen er høj. Luna: Giraffen er høj. Lucas: Hunden er lille.
