- 0:00Speaker 1: Hair fails. I have hair.
- 0:01Speaker 2: You have hair unless you're a balding man. But something
- 0:05Speaker 2: a lot of people do and also don't know about
- 0:07Speaker 2: me is that I went to college to be a
- 0:08Speaker 2: hairdresser and I left in my last semester like a
- 0:11Speaker 2: month before it was over because I got a job
- 0:13Speaker 2: in a factory.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Don't do that. Follow your dreams.
- 0:16Speaker 2: But one thing I absolutely love to do is watch
- 0:18Speaker 2: hair fails and hair succeeds. Truth be told, I would
- 0:22Speaker 2: always dye my hair every single month, which meant I
- 0:24Speaker 2: had no hair. And then in 2019, I cut it
- 0:27Speaker 2: off to here and now baby, baby, she grew. Truth is, though,
- 0:31Speaker 2: I desperately want to dye hair and I dye wigs
- 0:33Speaker 2: sometimes and I decided to do a test strip with
- 0:35Speaker 2: bleach on my hair to see what would happen.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Nothing happened, babe.
- 0:39Speaker 2: So instead of living through that, let's live through.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Some other people's mistakes. Pull up a chair! Get comfy
- 0:46Speaker 1: and get a snacky-acky. Because we love this, don't we?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Laughing at others' misfortune? No, that's not nice.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Dyeing my best friend's hair blonde. Okay. before it's beautiful
- 1:00Speaker 1: why would you even touch it.
- 1:04Speaker 2: No that's not it's not saturated oh no box dye
- 1:10Speaker 2: is not one size fits all.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Oh no you have fire roots.
- 1:16Speaker 2: You know what babe's gonna be honest with you toner
- 1:19Speaker 2: toner isn't gonna fix that so if you're gonna like
- 1:21Speaker 2: lighten hair it's really hard you have to use different
- 1:23Speaker 2: stuff You know, I know she probably wanted that balayage look,
- 1:26Speaker 2: but you're gonna have those fire reeds. You need to
- 1:27Speaker 2: dye those dark. You have to pull that blonde out.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Just go get highlights. You were already a highlighted baddie.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You should have gotten a good balayage, okay? Save it
- 1:33Speaker 2: up and do it, okay?
- 1:35Speaker 1: Gosh. See, gorgeous. That's like what the other girl had
- 1:37Speaker 1: going on in that hair.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Oh my god, okay.
- 1:40Speaker 1: This is what I wanted. Beautiful. Okay, this is the pastels. Oh,
- 1:44Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And this is what I got.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Oh no. That happened to me last night. I was
- 1:49Speaker 1: dyeing a wig. Here's the thing, man. I don't know
- 1:52Speaker 1: how some people get their hairdressing license. I don't. It
- 1:55Speaker 1: shouldn't be given to them. My hair is foolproof. I
- 1:57Speaker 1: can go to not great places because it's a black
- 2:00Speaker 1: hair dye. That's all you have to do. So I
- 2:01Speaker 1: think I'm sitting there.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I'm like, you can't mess this up because it's only
- 2:03Speaker 2: going black.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Dye my hair, right? We're at the sink. I'm like, oh,
- 2:06Speaker 1: you really got to get in there.
- 2:07Speaker 2: I could feel like there just wasn't getting any liquid
- 2:10Speaker 2: at the back of my head. So then when we
- 2:11Speaker 2: get in the chair, I brush it out. I'm like, yep,
- 2:12Speaker 2: I don't need a blow dry.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I go home. Didn't wash any of the dye out
- 2:15Speaker 1: of the back of my head. So I'm like, I'm
- 2:17Speaker 1: never going there again, ever. So what happens?
- 2:20Speaker 2: I go to a different place about six months later,
- 2:22Speaker 2: because I was scarred, because where the dye was, I
- 2:24Speaker 2: let it air dry. I didn't realize until I woke
- 2:26Speaker 2: up in the morning and my pillow was black, and
- 2:27Speaker 2: then I had a rash.
- 2:28Speaker 1: All over the back of my head, okay? So I
- 2:30Speaker 1: go to a new place. I go in, I'm like,
- 2:32Speaker 1: Is there anyone who can dye my hair? They go, yeah, sure,
- 2:34Speaker 1: just a second. Who walks out? That girl. The girl
- 2:37Speaker 1: who left the dye in my head. So she dyes
- 2:39Speaker 1: my hair. We're at the sink.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I say to her, I don't say that I've met
- 2:42Speaker 2: her before. She didn't remember me for some reason. I said,
- 2:44Speaker 2: you got to get really deep in the back of
- 2:46Speaker 2: my head. It's really hard to get the dye out
- 2:47Speaker 2: of there.
- 2:49Speaker 1: She didn't. And I felt, I sat at the chair
- 2:50Speaker 1: and I went like this and I looked at my hand.
- 2:52Speaker 1: There was black dye all over my hand and I
- 2:53Speaker 1: couldn't bring myself to say it. I couldn't. I would
- 2:56Speaker 1: have rather died. And I still gave her a tip.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Because I have no backbone.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh, that's something else that I can't handle with hairdressers.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So I have long hair. To maintain healthy long hair,
- 3:08Speaker 2: you don't start brushing up here. You work from the
- 3:11Speaker 2: ends and you work your way up so you're not
- 3:12Speaker 2: giving breakage.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Look at what's happening here. Oh my God, do you
- 3:19Speaker 1: see how full the brush was? Oh, the first cut.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Is she not gonna know how to blend?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:31Speaker 1: That wasn't a choice. I would have blended out a
- 3:33Speaker 1: little bit.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Oh, those are.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Babe knew immediately, but look, she's handling it well.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Oh.
- 3:41Speaker 1: The spiral. The spiral starts. My dad called me yesterday
- 3:45Speaker 1: because I was doing this instead of studying. I wolf
- 3:48Speaker 1: cut my hair the other day, and I regretted it immediately.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I skipped my class today. See, these are just people
- 3:53Speaker 1: who are cutting it across, and then they're not... Whatever.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Now I'm going to cut the mohawk sections. If anyone
- 3:59Speaker 1: wants to clone me, here's your chance. If this isn't
- 4:03Speaker 1: a wolf cut, I don't know what is. Okay, it
- 4:04Speaker 1: looks really cute though. You did a really great job.
- 4:06Speaker 2: For me, like I have really long hair, so like
- 4:08Speaker 2: you can't really notice.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But like, you know, I did some like face framing
- 4:12Speaker 1: pieces and that's enough for me. Don't touch my hair!
- 4:16Speaker 2: No!
- 4:17Speaker 3: No.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Oh, this is gonna be bad. This is gonna be
- 4:22Speaker 1: really bad. You know what sucks too?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Like cutting bangs. Like that's the front of your face.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Like it's gonna take half a year to grow that
- 4:32Speaker 2: shit out and everyone's gonna be looking.
- 4:34Speaker 1: At you and be like, been there once, been there once.
- 4:36Speaker 1: How's your mental health? It doesn't look like bad though.
- 4:38Speaker 1: It's kind of cute. It works with your face. Ooh. Okay.
- 4:44Speaker 1: This is about the length I have. So roll it up. Okay.
- 4:48Speaker 1: And then roll one down. Volume.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Yep.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Allergy. It's crazy.
- 5:01Speaker 3: No. Babe.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Oh no. What did he do? I swear if this
- 5:07Speaker 1: ends and it doesn't show us. What the fuck? The
- 5:27Speaker 1: braids don't want to leave. You look like a Marvel villain.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, so he has like suntan from where
- 5:32Speaker 1: the braids were? That's crazy. Oh god, that has to
- 5:46Speaker 1: be so scary. Just one slip and you're bald. Bro.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Undercuts sound like such a nightmare growing it out. That
- 5:54Speaker 2: looks great.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Oh, you are so hot. I love that, I love that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I think on certain people, the undercuts work amazing. For
- 6:00Speaker 2: heavy necked bitches like me, no. This is the style
- 6:04Speaker 2: that I prefer.
- 6:04Speaker 1: For heavy chinned bitches like me.
- 6:08Speaker 3: No!
- 6:10Speaker 2: You know that they're going in with the best intentions.
- 6:12Speaker 2: They don't even know their day's about to suck.
- 6:14Speaker 1: That's what I want.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Yeah. This is what happens when you start brushing out
- 6:24Speaker 3: my hair. My hair is falling out in clumps. She
- 6:27Speaker 3: tells me this is the end result after toner.
- 6:29Speaker 1: What the hell is this?
- 6:30Speaker 3: I need to speak to my manager.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I would never let you walk out. This is awful.
- 6:36Speaker 3: And she just walks off, gets her manager. I never
- 6:39Speaker 3: speak to the lady again. And they're like, okay, we'll
- 6:41Speaker 3: make your hair one color. This is my hair right now.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I genuinely do not know what to do. Someone please help.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That is horrible.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I'm, sorry But if you are not confident with color
- 6:53Speaker 2: like if somebody walks in and says can you do this?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Too many people are like, yeah, babe, that's fine.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's like hold my beer No, if you're not confident
- 7:00Speaker 2: don't ruin somebody's life for me one time adam cut
- 7:02Speaker 2: like this much off my hair and because I spent
- 7:04Speaker 2: my whole life trying to grow my hair out I
- 7:05Speaker 2: had a literal mental breakdown and I even asked them
- 7:08Speaker 2: to do it like you need to look at people
- 7:09Speaker 2: You need to evaluate and if you are not confident
- 7:11Speaker 2: to create what they're looking for like a lot of
- 7:13Speaker 2: the time It's not gonna look just like the photo
- 7:15Speaker 2: But that wasn't even 10% of what the photo was.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Those were huge chunky highlights, like it's not hard. If
- 7:19Speaker 2: you're not confident, say no! I don't like where this
- 7:24Speaker 2: is going.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 7:31Speaker 2: That mom doesn't give a shit. She's just like, you
- 7:33Speaker 2: wanted this, we'll do it. Are we gonna see it
- 7:35Speaker 2: out of the ponytail?
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's like textured hair too. That can be so hard
- 7:39Speaker 1: to cut. Oh no, oh no, ready? It's not the worst,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but it's not great.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Ugh.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Guys, you know what the door means.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Bad decisions, and this time it's hydrogen peroxide. So I
- 7:55Speaker 4: know hydrogen peroxide can lighten your hair, so that's.
- 7:57Speaker 1: What I'm trying to do today.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Just like all my other hair videos, I'm going to
- 8:01Speaker 4: be working on the front two pieces of my hair. Honestly,
- 8:04Speaker 4: I don't know how this hair is still connected to
- 8:06Speaker 4: my head, but it is. And as long as it is,
- 8:08Speaker 4: I'm going to be doing crazy things to it. And
- 8:10Speaker 4: I already have ideas. Now don't get your hopes up.
- 8:14Speaker 4: That's definitely not gonna happen.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Your hair looks so healthy and shiny. Like, so healthy.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Hydrogen peroxide can really dry out your hair, so I
- 8:21Speaker 4: just put some conditioner on the parts that I have
- 8:23Speaker 4: the hydrogen peroxide on.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I don't know if that cancels it out. I don't
- 8:26Speaker 1: know how that works. Hydrogen peroxide was dripping everywhere, so
- 8:29Speaker 1: I put some toilet paper on it to keep it
- 8:31Speaker 1: from dripping.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Oh, that's so cute. So it said to leave it
- 8:33Speaker 4: on for 30 minutes and I tried saying that, but
- 8:35Speaker 4: I flipped you guys off on accident.
- 8:36Speaker 1: But I'll see you guys in 30 minutes. Rude. It
- 8:39Speaker 1: honestly probably wouldn't have done much. I have never had heatless.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Why is this a fail? I usually see these work
- 8:44Speaker 1: so well.
- 8:44Speaker 2: So.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I'm so scared.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Ah.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Okay, put it at two times speed. Because I honestly
- 8:52Speaker 1: don't really know. Oh, you got this.
- 8:56Speaker 3: How?
- 8:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:57Speaker 1: All right.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Let's go. Okay.
- 9:00Speaker 1: This doesn't look like a fail. This looks pretty good.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Jiggle, jiggle, jiggle.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Those are beautiful. Your hair is stunning. Look at that. Okay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: those are a little tight. That's fine. You just run
- 9:15Speaker 1: a straightener over it. Calm it down. I have one style,
- 9:18Speaker 1: if you've noticed. Look at that one area. That's perfect.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Oh, no. Oh, no.
- 9:31Speaker 2: I'm worried you're gonna lose dreads. Please don't lose dreads.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Please don't lose dreads. I hope they don't just pull
- 9:36Speaker 2: right off.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Oh. No!
- 9:40Speaker 1: You can't get the, you can't get it to penetrate.
- 9:42Speaker 1: The purple's a vibe, though.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Like, I'm into it. It's like a nice color, though.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Like, it's fun. How many times are you gonna tone this? Oh, no.
- 10:05Speaker 2: This might be one of those situations where you just
- 10:08Speaker 2: have to shave and start again.
- 10:09Speaker 1: You just might have to because there's so much damage there. Plus,
- 10:12Speaker 1: you can't, like, it's so hard to.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Get lightener unless you do, like, a liquid lightener to, like,
- 10:15Speaker 2: really penetrate. And then it's going to get stuck in
- 10:17Speaker 2: the dreads, which is such a difficult, difficult situation. My
- 10:21Speaker 2: eyes are going to be so closed so you can
- 10:24Speaker 2: see it first.
- 10:29Speaker 1: How bad is it? How bad is it? Yes, right now.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Fire roots. Oh my god, we need to fix this tonight.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Is it so bad?
- 10:37Speaker 2: We need to fix this tonight. Ashley. Ashley. When you
- 10:43Speaker 2: blow it out, though, the end might be lighter. I'm
- 10:45Speaker 2: going to tell you what I would do for these girls.
- 10:48Speaker 2: You have a brown bottom, right? And you have light roots.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I wouldn't jump into trying to bleach out your ends.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I would get the color that your hair currently is
- 10:57Speaker 2: and do your roots.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Blend it out.
- 10:59Speaker 2: And then at the end, before you wash, just get
- 11:01Speaker 2: your hair kind of wet and just pull it through.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Pull it through and that's going to blend it into
- 11:05Speaker 2: one color. Then babes, just go to the hairdresser and
- 11:08Speaker 2: let them give you, again, balayage. If you want to
- 11:10Speaker 2: go straight blonde, they can test strip. But again, please
- 11:12Speaker 2: do a test strip. Your roots will always go lighter
- 11:16Speaker 2: than your hair. If you're going to lighten your hair,
- 11:17Speaker 2: do all of your hair, right?
- 11:19Speaker 1: See where you're going to get.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Then go through and do your roots because your roots
- 11:22Speaker 2: are virgin, right? Your roots are going to be that
- 11:24Speaker 2: virgin hair that's going to lighten really quick.
- 11:25Speaker 1: This shit is tough. This has layers and layers and
- 11:28Speaker 1: layers of black on it. And that's it. It's not
- 11:30Speaker 1: that bad.
- 11:30Speaker 2: What did come out of that wasn't that bad, but
- 11:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry and I really wonder where you ended up.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I hope you guys enjoy these hair videos.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I actually really love watching them, so tell me if
- 11:39Speaker 2: you do because I can do more.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Also, if you see below my merch here, it is
- 11:42Speaker 1: on sale. Take a look.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I want to come out with new stuff, but I
- 11:44Speaker 2: can't until this stuff is gone. If you're looking for
- 11:47Speaker 2: a Christmas present, I put out four novels.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I have four books.
- 11:50Speaker 2: So for the bookworm in your life, I'm sure there's something.
- 11:52Speaker 2: There's Vampires, Witches, Ghosts, and full-on real story about me
- 11:59Speaker 2: growing up in a haunted house.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So I love you very, very much. Until next time,
- 12:03Speaker 1: stay spooky.
