- 0:00[SPEAKER_03]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_03]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_03]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_03]: something huge just happened in Washington, D.C. something that will have a major impact on the upcoming midterm elections.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_03]: The justices of the Supreme Court just systematically dismantled one of the less most powerful election stealing tools.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_03]: And you know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_03]: those mysterious envelopes that keep showing up after election day.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_03]: Those ballots that materialize on a nowhere days after you went to the polls.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_03]: And somehow somehow they always seem to swing one way.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_03]: Well, not anymore, because right now the Supreme Court appears ready to say that election day means exactly that.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_03]: a day not a week not a month not a season one day and here's the thing that makes us even more explosive it's not just the court president Trump is simultaneously swinging a sledge hammer at the Senate demanding they pass the save America act.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_03]: and threatening to blow up the entire DHS funding deal if they don't.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_03]: Make sure to stick a minute and vary into this video because I'm going to show you precisely how we're living through a genuine historic inflection point in the fight for free and fair elections in America, which promises to destroy all the deceit.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_03]: The Democrats power has depended on until now.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_03]: Hey gang, it's me, Darkster Steve, you're a Patre professor and join yet another glorious day in Trump's golden age that you made possible back in November of 2024, so if you want a front row seat on how you continue to change the world of ways you never even imagine.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_03]: make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_03]: Election integrity is finally here and it's a Supreme Court.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_03]: That's poised to get it done.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_03]: As many of you know, the United States Supreme Court just heard one of the most consequential election law cases in decades.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_03]: And based on what happened in that courtroom yesterday, the days of mail-in ballots mysteriously trickling in the after election day.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_03]: maybe finally number the case is Watson versus Republican National Committee and it's a blockbuster the RNC brought this challenge back in 2024 targeting ironically Mississippi's law that allowed mail-in ballots to be counted as long as they arrived up to five business days after election day provided that they were postmarked by election day.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_03]: The RNC's argument is simple, powerful, and rooted in the text of the law itself.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_03]: Federal statutes designate a specific election day, and that means what it says.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_03]: Any ballots not received on that day are by definition invalid.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_03]: For over two hours, the courts consider justice's grilled Mississippi's defenders, and virtually all court analysts agreed
- 3:13[SPEAKER_03]: The justices were not impressed.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_03]: The man who stole the show, justice, Sam Alito, who delivered what can only be described as a verbal sledgehammer to this liberal insanity.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_05]: We have lots of phrases that involve two words the last of which the second of which is day.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_05]: Labor Day Memorial Day George Washington's birthday in Dependence Day, Birthday, and Election Day, and they're all particular days.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_05]: So if we start with that, if I have nothing more to look at, then the phrase Election Day.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_05]: I think this is the day in which everything is going to take place and we're almost everything and then we have three points in time 1844 1872 1914 and we can ask what would people have thought on those days is meant by this phrase election day which which of those should we choose which of those days dates should we choose?
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: Well
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think you could choose any of the three.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, honestly, I think the single best one, if you're just gonna choose one is 1872.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason I say that is because 1914 is the latest in time, but that's what the one that Congress gave the least thought to.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's actually some very clever legal framing that Alito just did there.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_03]: He asked that that was the RNC lawyers talking to.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_03]: He asked him at which historical moment,
- 4:43[SPEAKER_03]: should the court interpret what election day actually means.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_03]: The RNC lawyer is arguing that election day means precisely that.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_03]: The day the election takes place.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_03]: It's not election week, month, year.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_03]: The votes are tallied and determined on that day.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_03]: So 1844,
- 5:00[SPEAKER_03]: is a year before Congress formally set a uniform federal election day, which it did in 1845.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_03]: 1872, that's a key year, because that's, that's the year a leadow considered the single most instructive date.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_03]: By 1872, the Civil War had just passed, and some wartime
- 5:20[SPEAKER_03]: What's called field voting exceptions existed.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_03]: But Alito's point was that even during that nationally emergency, every state still insisted ballots had to be received into official custody by election day.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_03]: Whether through proxy or field voted, that's where soldiers on the front lines could cast their vote on the field as it were.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: even during the Civil War.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: And it's aftermath.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_03]: Nobody was saying, Oh, it's a crisis.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_03]: They need a whole month after election day to vote.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_03]: That, Lito argued powerfully reinforces the idea that election day has always meant
- 5:58[SPEAKER_03]: The day ballots must be in official hands.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_03]: 1914, he brought up.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_03]: That's the year Congress extended the election day statute to cover U.S. Senate elections, following the 17th Amendment, which established direct Senate elections, rather than senators being appointed by state legislatures.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_03]: So what Alito was doing there was basically showing.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_03]: how the very meaning of election day is actually woven into the fabric of our nation's jurisprudence.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_03]: No matter which of these three historical snapshots you use to interpret the phrase election day, the answer is always the same.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_03]: It means the day ballots must be received by not a rolling post-election window.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_03]: And I think in that series of observations, the questions
- 6:48[SPEAKER_03]: Bottom line, Democrats want an extended election day precisely so they can overall what you did on election day.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_03]: They want to apply money morning quarterbacking into the very results of the game played the previous day.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_03]: Election Day for Democrats is simply that day that tells them how many more votes they need to concoct in order to overcome how you voted.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_03]: And Alita wasn't alone, Neil Gorsek seems to have caught and exposed precisely that scheme.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_03]: Listen to how he turns the attorney arguing for the indefinite mail-in ballot scheme into a babbling idiot.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say you have a state where a large portion of the electorate
- 7:31[SPEAKER_04]: males in their ballots on or close to election day, not far-fetched many states are like that.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_04]: Then the day after the election, a story breaks that one of the lead candidates engaged in an inappropriate sexual escapade, or perhaps is concluding with a foreign power, again not far-fetched, I think, and the competing candidate immediately goes on the airwaves, and
- 7:58[SPEAKER_04]: and to tell the common carriers not to deliver them.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_04]: And many common carriers will do that with anything that you've sent through them.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_04]: That actually just called them up and said, I want to back.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_04]: In that hypothetical, did the election happen on election day?
- 8:13[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, by the way, it swings the election.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: So the election did happen on election day Justice Gorsuch, as we've explained, our ballot does not allow using mail recall anything like that when somebody submits their ballot.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_04]: Just first deal with my hypothetical, and then I'll deal with your statute.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, the election happened on election day.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_04]: Even though it changes the outcome.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, it has to be your answer, doesn't it?
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yes, you're on, I'm just, I want to be clear about the, all right, we are not agreeing that the outcome can be properly changed in that circumstance.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_04]: Well, hold on, it did in my circumstances, in my hypothetical, you can't change my hypothetical counsel.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just saying it's unlawful, you're on, I don't know what's wrong with that, I'm just saying that it's an unlawful circumstance because we don't allow that, about, oh, in Mississippi, okay, but that hypothetical could happen in another state, right?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think if the state is not providing that on mailing, there's a final choice made.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think that would be a problem with that law under the statute.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_04]: Now you say your statute, you're different.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_04]: You could admit my hypothetical could have them, but you say it can't happen in Mississippi because recalls not allowed.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't find that anywhere and this would be law.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I was just brutal.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_03]: I got, again, Gorsick was boarding out there in his hypothetical that ballots simply sent through the post office or FedEx ballots that have yet to be counted are not official ballots.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_03]: In other words, can a ballot really be final if it hasn't even landed in the hands of election officials yet?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_03]: Well, if not, then it can theoretically be changed.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_03]: and that would mean it could hypothetically be changed after election day, changing the results and thus nullifying election day.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_03]: That's the kind of incisive reasoning.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_03]: that gets the heart of what conservatives have been arguing all along.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_03]: A ballot floating in the mail system after election day is a recipe for chaos and manipulation by its very nature.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_03]: And by the, it's not just political conservatives arguing this.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: Take a look at the latest polling on this 83% of likely voters believe that all ballots need to be returned by election day bar none.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_03]: That's the norm, 83%, that's actually, again, it's always been the norm.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_03]: As Justice Gorsik and Alito appointed out, it's yet another 80-20 issue.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: Americans overwhelmingly want their elections secured, of course they do.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_03]: And so the Democrats are once again arguing uphill again because their power depends on corrupt elections.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_03]: Now we should be getting a final ruling by the end of June right before the 2026 mid-terms.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_03]: So that means this decision will reshape the battlefield before every house and Senate seat across the country is contested this November.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, that raises the question, what's the latest on the say that?
- 11:10[SPEAKER_03]: That is exactly what we are about to find out.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_03]: The energy markets yesterday, right?
- 11:15[SPEAKER_03]: Did you see that?
- 11:17[SPEAKER_03]: flipping out nearly morning hours, Monday actually saw the wildest single day oil swing in modern history, Brent Crude's surge passed $119 barrel early in the session.
- 11:29[SPEAKER_03]: It's a largest single day spikes since 2020, as straight-a-hole moves tanker traffic remain frozen.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_03]: And then Trump said that the war was basically complete and would end soon and he promised to hit Iran 20 times harder, they blocked war moves oil flows and low and behold prices cratered, Brent plunged around $88 a barrel.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_03]: And that price fluctuation reminded me really the volatility that our savings are subject to.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, imagine this right 30 years of work, 30 years of saving, 30 years of sacrifice, then say two years before your retirement, the market tanks.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_03]: And just like that, boom, everything you built gone.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_03]: And it's gone.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: That's insane South Park.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_03]: Right before the finish line, again, I mentioned the other day it happened to my grandmother.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_03]: The market tank that she saw half of her savings just wiped out.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_03]: And here's the truth, nobody wants to think about anything can change overnight as we just saw yesterday.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_03]: Now, you've been led to believe that you're safe, you know, sitting in paper assets, but look around you.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: Look at what's happening right now.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: War with Iran escalating, oil prices, surging, global markets,
- 12:51[SPEAKER_03]: gang, the wealthy aren't sitting in paper.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_03]: The education aren't.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_03]: Central banks aren't.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_03]: So why are you?
- 13:01[SPEAKER_03]: More and more Americans are waking up to something.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_03]: Most people never even find out.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_03]: You can actually move your IRA or 401k into physical gold outside the market.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_03]: No taxes, no penalties,
- 13:19[SPEAKER_03]: They showed me how it all works and they've helped thousands of Americans understand how to protect part of the retirement with real physical goals.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_03]: So here's what you need to do right now.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_03]: Go to turlybyesgold.com or text turly to 35052 and get a gust of free gold guide.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_03]: And they'll show you exactly how it works.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_03]: It's clear, it's straightforward, every question answered that's turlybyesgold.com.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_03]: or text curly to three, five, zero, five, two, gang.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_03]: 30 years of work shouldn't ride on one market cycle.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_03]: Protect what you built, get the guide today.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm tying Homeland Security and to voter identification with picture and proof of citizen citizenship in order to vote, and those two items are the most important thing having to do with Homeland Security.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: So it should be part of the Homeland Security bill, and I'm requesting that the Republican center to do that immediately.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to take a fast vote.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about Easter going home.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_00]: In fact,
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: Make this one for Jesus, okay?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: Make this one for Jesus, that's what I tell him.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's a good, be a damn good thing.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: The most important part of Homeland Security is voter ID and proof of citizenship.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody can vote on Homeland Security without voter ID or proof of citizenship.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: And you can't have Homeland Security without voter ID or proof of citizenship.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: So we're tying them to get
- 14:54[SPEAKER_03]: So as you just saw there, President Trump is on the war path, and this target is the United States Senate.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_03]: Fresh off a Memphis rally on Monday, you heard him deliver one of his most direct ultimatums of the second term.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_03]: He's demanding no DHS funding deal without the Save America Act period.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_03]: Now for those who need a refresher, Save America Act is not, it does two powerful things.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_03]: It requires documentary proof of US citizenship to register to vote in federal elections.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_03]: And it mandates photo voter ID at the ballot box.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: Now, all eyes are on the Senate that, unfortunately, has been dragging its feet for months on this.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_03]: Trump has done with the delays.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_03]: He's demanding that the Senate tie the save act directly to the vote restoring funding to Homeland Security, which is a Democrats are obstructing.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_03]: But here's where the battle gets complicated.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_03]: Senate Majority, Leader John Thun, is warning that it's just simply not realistic to hold the entire DHS funding deal hostage.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_03]: to the save-ax passage, and it's because the Democrats, you know, like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, I mean, he's clutching his pearls, he's claiming Trump is derailing the negotiations as if Democrats haven't spent the last 38 days keeping the Department of Homeland Security shut down rather than allow election integrity measures to move forward.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_03]: Regardless, enter the great Senator from Louisiana John Kennedy.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: Now, he's a man who might just have the most creative and realistic solution to the whole impasse here.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_03]: On the Senate floor, Kennedy, who's a co-sponsor of the bill by the way, the save act bill.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_03]: He didn't just reaffirm his support for the save act.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_03]: He called for something bold.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_03]: He wants to pass it through budget reconciliation, so that means bypassing the Democrats' 60 vote filibuster wall entirely.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_03]: Republicans hold 53 seats.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_03]: And Kennedy's reconciliation, his plan there is pretty bold and straightforward.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_03]: Craft the save act.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_03]: So it passes what's called the bird rule, meaning that it conforms to budget reconciliation rules requiring all reconciliation bills have a direct impact on budgetary issues.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_03]: That's how Republicans pass the one big beautiful bill with just 50 votes plus a vice-presidential
- 17:22[SPEAKER_03]: everything to do with welfare budgeting, unemployment benefits, housing subsidies and life.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_03]: In other words, by cleaning up the voter registration, the budget is directly impacted in all kinds of ways.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: And that's what Kennedy is arguing for.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, the clock is ticking here.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_03]: Midterms are in November and 84% of independence actually support this bill.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_03]: The people are
- 17:48[SPEAKER_03]: with Trump on this.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_03]: The question is whether the Senate has the spine to match that energy.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_03]: And I think we're good to get it done.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_03]: I think we're good to do it.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_03]: Can you said that a reconciliation rewriting vote will take about 10 days, and so perhaps in the next two weeks,
- 18:06[SPEAKER_03]: We'll finally see the integrity of our elections defended, and with the Supreme Court decision pending in June, that integrity will be finally and fully restored.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_03]: I want to give you a gift before you go.
