- The Finance Pastor: Hello, everyone. This is Felix Garcia, aka the finance pastor. And what an honor and a privilege it is to be welcome into your home and what a day it has been in the stock market. Many uncertainty. Google Google's earnings have really set the tone for the market today. It wasn't, it was worse than expected. And Google has been down pretty much all day today since last night. Over 10% down on that stock right now. Crossing to almost 15, 16%. But what we're seeing now is that the stock market, even though Google had bad earnings, it is still somewhat resilient. It didn't tank like many people thought it might have tanked. But we're seeing moves in the stock market. I don't know what you guys are expecting the stock market to do, but I do know one thing that God is on the throne. And I don't know what your situation is right now, but I'm here to encourage you and let you know that God cares for you. You are the apple of his eye. And God wants good things. Now, even though God wants good things for us, that doesn't mean that we won't have suffering in this life. We will. When we were born, we We cried and we started suffering, and there will be suffering on this earth. The only place that we will ever get relief is in heaven. And I don't know about you, but I want to go to heaven like many of you here. And I'm so thankful for the blood of Jesus. I'm so thankful for what He has done on Calvary for my sins, that He's died on the cross for a sinner like me, and I'm so grateful. And for me is I like talking about God and money. And when you mention those two things at the same time, you get a lot of people that have feelings on it. And I get it. There have been many people that have misused the word of God. I want you to know that there's no name it and claim it here. There's no thousand dollar C. There's none of that. What I do believe is in hard work. What I do believe is working a job, because it is biblical to work. It is biblical to work. And I believe In like seed time and harvest, meaning you plant, you wait, and then you harvest. I like to do that in the stock market. I also invest in real estate, but I'm more of a buy and hold and wait for the long term. And you start seeing that if you start looking for the long term, if you start trading with five, 10, 15, 20 years down the road in mind, you would do so much better than trying to be make it all right now. There's many people that love the income, the day trading, the futures market options. Those are fine. And I'm not against those. I just, my personality is not made for day trading. I don't like the emotional wherewithal of trading and looking at a computer and trading all day. That's not my personality. So I like picking stocks and and type of strategies that fit my criteria, that fit my personality. For some of you, you're conservative. In nature, or you're moderate, or you're aggressive. Those are the three main things. And some of you may fall into I want to be conservative/slash moderate. Some of you may be like, I want to be fully, I want to be 80% conservative, and maybe 15% moderate, and maybe 5% aggressive. And I tell people, there's not a right or wrong. It's only what's right for you. And I want to encourage you guys that whatever you season, whatever season you are in life, whatever things you're feeling. Facing God is in control, He understands all things, and we can always trust on God, even though what we may see in the natural may not look like everything is coming to place, but God makes no mistakes, and that's the thing I'm here to encourage you. God makes no mistakes, everything is yes and amen. Many people, you look at scripture, and that's what I love about the Bible, is that it gives a story. We look at the story of David, we look at the story of of Job where there was blessings in their life, yes, but there was also hardship. And we will go through hardship. There's no perfect, no perfect Christian life. We will suffer. And that's the thing that God gives us an idea of what to do when things don't go in our way. What to do when maybe we ask questions from God like why me? Why me? Why now? And there's many things that we do ask out for stuff like that. And I'm here to encourage you and let you know that no matter what season you're in, God cares for you and He loves you. And if you haven't heard that today, God loves you. And He died on the cross for you and me and all our friends and loved ones, and even the people we might not like. So that's a that's a a pretty good a start right here. So I want to get a chance to look at what's happening right now. right now as we're live in the stock market. there's a lot of news that are are entering right now, but the biggest one is gonna be Google and let's look at some stock stock charts. All right, I want to take a look at Google stock right now. So we can see right now in my screen, technically it is down 39 points, so way over we're looking close to 40. So you're looking about close to 15, 14% that is down currently right now, rough number there. But we are seeing that there is some heavy selling pressure. This range right here. I could see Google drop to this range, and this was where it was at last year, around October, generally around this time last year, is almost going right back to the same price. that's pretty much what has happened. All the growth that we saw from Google, it really you caught it from here from April 26 to this year. That has been the biggest growth for for Google. So what you're seeing now is some retracement. Can it go turnaround? The answer is it can, but will There be short-term bias to the downside, and one of the things that I start, we all gotta remember it's election season. I don't know about you, but my phone and my text messages are getting inundated by candidates, and I don't even know how it is that I live in Tennessee and I'm getting text messages for candidates in California, Tennessee, Texas, and different states, which is kind of dumbfounding me. But I am getting so many political ads, but I actually Already voted, I early voted like many of you here, and I voted with my convictions and I didn't stick all to one party. I actually crossed party lines. So there's certain things that I agree with the Republican Party, and there's certain things I agree with the Democratic Party. How is that? It's because there's no one party that has a anction on God. God loves the just and the unjust. Both the same. So, with me, is I'm looking at what could happen after election season. You could see that if the Republican Party does not win the House or loses one one of the Senate, you could see that many people are not gonna be bullish on America. That means the fight for Donald Trump is gonna get a lot harder for him to pass anything. And one would have to argue that the economy is not doing as good as one would hope it would. Was it's almost two years since Donald Trump has been in office, and it's actually for some people we're worse off than where we were before he took office, and that is a fact. Many people are getting laid off, many people can't find jobs, and what we're seeing is the economy slowing down, and that's what's happening a lot with the stock market. What we're seeing is that a lot of things are happening where we don't know what's gonna happen next. So hopefully we're gonna be looking into what happens with Google, but I'm also looking at what the market is gonna bring to us today. Let's look at the SP 500 currently down 30 points. Like I have mentioned over the last few weeks, we have been hovering around the 7800 mark, and it seems like the stock market has having a hard Time breaking through this pivot point right here. It goes from 7800, 7600, 7800, 7600, and it's in those ranges. And what you have seen is that in the last year and a half, at least this year for me, I've had the toughest trading this year in the stock market. It has been so tough for me, especially like day trading. I've I've stopped day trading for a couple of months because it was just Over the place. I still do long term. I still have options. I still do those type of trades. But if one is honest, I have had the hardest year in business, real estate, and in stocks. It was crazy. I don't know if you guys have had the same issues, but things weren't going that smoothly. Even real estate, things are being held on to the market longer, more days on the market. You're not selling your house so quick like you used to. And you The stock market has not been as predictable as in times past. You have a lot of variables that are happening, and you start seeing that there's certain news that are really that work well when the economy is good, and you think that the stock market is gonna take off, and it just does the opposite. And the same thing with bad news. You think, okay, the market's gonna drop right now, and it does the opposite of what you think it will do. So this market is one would consider it's almost like it's. It's irrational. It's very irrational, and nobody knows what's happening. But what I do know is this: God knows all things. God understands that we need to eat. God knows, understand I need to work. But this is the thing. Sin is sin and God can judge a nation. And we don't know. We could have a buffoon in office. I don't know. I'm not saying he is, but we could have a buffoon in office, and God's judgment could be on the people. We have put our trust in a man when we should be putting our trust in God. And I'm here to tell you this God does not belong to the Democratic Party, and God does not belong to the Republican Party. He belongs to all people. Not black or white, not Puerto Rican, not Venezuelan, not South African, not American, not God belongs to everyone. Everyone. And we've seen a lot of foolishness that's happening in the world right now. Actually, I want to take myself off the I want to address a foolishness that's happening right now with these pastors in Ohio, this polygamous threesome over here. I don't understand God's people. This is a bunch of buffoonery. And I'm here to warn a lot of you preachers, man. If God has called you, if God has called you to be his messenger, take it serious. Man, there's people's souls at stake here. And we have a world that's taking God's word and making a mockery out of it. We need to be better. We can't support this foolishness. And if you're a member of that congregation, it lets me know that you are devoid of God's word. You've compromised God's word. That should be called from the from the ceiling, from the rooftops. This is wrong. Not only that, I want to address something else. Most of these churches that do that do foolishness, they're all non-denominational and they never have a covering. A lot of these churches want to be non-denominational because they want a move of the spirit. I want a move of the spirit. I want freedom of the spirit. Usually when I hear that, that lets me know that you don't want accountability. That's what I hear when I hear a church. we're going non-denominational because we want a freedom of the spirit. To me, is you don't want accountability. That's the reason why. And I tell people: God is looking for a church that wants to serve him in spirit and in truth. This foolishness, man. There's people's souls at stake, brother, brothers and sisters. There's people's souls at stake. What are we doing? And if you support this foolishness, there's a special place reserved in you in hell. This, I mean, you gotta understand God can't keep making a mockery out of God's word. Enough is enough. Enough is enough. Now. I'm hoping that these pastors can see the error of their ways. If not, judgments come into that house. I don't wish bad on anybody. I know God wants, He loves his people. And I know many of you that listen to me out there, you love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. I know that. Many of you love God with all your heart. But you're involved in a lot of foolishness. We need to go back to the preachings of sin. Everybody thinks that God Jesus didn't come here to bring peace, He came to divide and conquer. Jesus is peace, Jesus is peace. No, he didn't. He came to divide and conquer, to bring mother against son, son against mother, daughter against father. It's scriptural. God is weeding out the chaff. And I'm telling you, if you're a preacher, your preacher, you young preacher, if you're gonna preach God's word, do it for the love of souls, not for clicks and likes. If you're gonna preach God's word, do it for souls. Not for trying to get a new gymnasium or try to build some some mega mansion. Many of you that abuse that 501c3 so you can get paid, so you can buy yourself a mega mansion off the backs of people and call it scriptural, man. You're not living God's word, man. You're stealing. You're stealing. I know there's bivocational pastors. I'm not talking about you. There's many of you bivocational pastors that actually have invested the right way. I learned investing by preachers who use their work money to buy properties little by little. I've met many great pastors that don't use the church's money to buy properties or the church's money to build stuff. Only so you and your family can enjoy it yourselves, but not the congregants. I want to see them flying your jet plane. I want to see them go to your your your hunting lodge. I mean, this is a mockery. And the church and the body of Christ is tired. I'm telling you this: the body of Christ is tired. So I am expecting God to do phenomenal things. I know I went on a little tangent there, but this is, man, people's lives are at stake here. Saints, people's lives are at stake. And you have to understand that if you're called to be a minister of the gospel, if you're called to be a minister of the gospel, Take it serious. Take it serious. So that's my rant there. But I'm looking forward to what's going to happen in the stock market. I'm going to share my screen again. So we're looking at right now the Nasdaq kinda down, Dow Jones kinda been down and kinda we've seen this V pattern from the Dow Jones, but it can mirror this. Boom, boom, boom, going up. So if you're playing the diamonds long term, probably that might be a a decent play, but you have to wait till this comes back. let's look at Apple again. I'm in Apple. I've talked about this. This has been my best performing stock of the year, bar none. this and most of my stuff is in here, so I'm thankful. I got stocks in other places, but geez, there has been stock. Apple has been good to me. So thank you, Apple. Tesla, you've been all over the place. I'm still bearish on Tesla. Short term, I'm bearish, long term, I'm bullish. But if nothing happens by the end of November, November, I'm probably taking out my option. I'll put option to the downside because it's definitely been compromised there. So but again, anything can happen and I'm looking for short term down on the Tesla right here, but I'm also bullish on on in on SpaceX. Netflix, I'm I'm in this play, but I'm I'm down on it. I'm down, I'm in the $71 range. So each one of my shares are ten dollars in the negative. So I'm still holding on. This one is I'm either gonna be doing more dollar cost average and bring my buying power down and just basically keep buying. Long term, I'm looking at this stock. I'm looking at what this stock is gonna be the three to five years. That's why I'm buying now little by little. So I'm also look at what other people are investing in these companies. You have Bill Ackman from Pershing Square that been purchasing. And I'm not I wouldn't be shocked if they keep buying more around this price here. So this is the one thing when when an investor tells you they're gonna invest in a stock, they don't buy all at one shot, they buy over time. And usually some of the bad news is from their marketing partners. That way they could buy more at a cheaper price. So that's what I see a lot of. oil, again cross the 101. Mark, so if you're in oil, oil has been topsy turvy. The there's no relief for the American people. Donald Trump, again, you're not doing a great job. So, this is the one thing that's a barometer where many people look at gold. Has gotten beat up again. It has office highs of the 5500, it is down fifteen hundred bucks. If you bought in this range, you're down. silver's been the same thing. I I thought silver would have been a lot better than what it is, but you're seeing a consolidation. And you could see silver probably come down to that forty-six, forty-eight dollar range. This consolidation right here. So you see this range here. So if it hits that forty five, I'm actually gonna buy more. Is just a consolidation right here in this range. What I'm seeing. So silver if it keeps going down, which I think it will, probably gonna be consolidating around this area. that's what I'm seeing. SpaceX again, I'm long term on this one, so there's not really much charting for me to give in I in the hypothesis, but I do know that if if I'm playing long term and I'm I'm betting on Elon Musk, this is probably something I would do. but definitely We don't know what's going to happen today, but I do know that God is on the throne, and I'm hopeful to see what happens in the stock market today.
