- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Hello everyone!
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the Astrology for Beginners podcast.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: I'm your host Stefanie Kate Boucher and I am so happy to have you here.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: This is the podcast for you if you have ever wanted to learn how to read a natal chart or were kind of interested in astrology and wished that you understood more about it but you didn't know where to begin or it seemed too complicated and you didn't have the time or the resources to invest in learning it.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: My goal is to break things down for you, episode by episode, in the most simplified way that I can so that you can learn to speak the language of the stars.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Thank you for learning astrology with me.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: We are here today to continue learning about planets and the way they influence our personalities and our lives.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Today we will be moving on from the personal planets for now which as you know are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars and we're jumping into the social planets which are Jupiter and Saturn.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: So we are going to learn about both the Great Benefic and the Great Malefic as they are called, what energies they carry, which areas of life and the behaviors they govern, and then we'll also talk a bit about how you can start to interpret both of these planets in your own chart.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Before we get to all of that I just want to remind everyone that as I am recording this we are now in the midst of eclipse season.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: We had a lunar eclipse on March 25th.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Lunar eclipses are typically about reviewing the past and letting go of something.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: and then there will be a solar eclipse coming up on April 8th solar eclipses are about the future and looking toward new beginnings so we are currently right in the two-week stretch of time between the two eclipses between letting something go and starting something new which means
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners featuring Stefanie Kate Boucher titled The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: This could be due to something external like a change in employment or a relationship that might be having some challenges or maybe you're working through some conflict with someone important to you or you found out that you're going to have to move and find a new place to live.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: or it could be more internal like maybe you are questioning some part of your life more or you're looking at your perspective on something or you're examining some long-standing behavior patterns and you want to think about how you can make some changes going forward so that that part of your life feels more fulfilling to you.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: And I bring all of this up to say that if you find yourself in this category right now and life feels a little prickly, you aren't alone.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: You're simply caught up in the current of the collective energy that is available to us right now.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: And it probably means that this eclipse
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Triggered a planet or angle in your natal chart, maybe more so than for other people.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: Some eclipses are going to rock your chart in a really big way.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: Other eclipses, not so much.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: We don't all get impacted equally by every single eclipse.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: But at various points throughout our lives, chances are that we all get to tap into
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners featuring Stefanie Kate Boucher titled The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: The Planetary Ruler of Libra is Venus
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Venus currently is in Pisces which is the sign of her exaltation meaning she does really well there and she's really happy to put it in the most simple terms.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Venus of course as we know from our prior episode on Personal Planets is the sign of abundance and prosperity of love and beauty in all forms so the fact that she is happily positioned in one of her favorite parts of the sky
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: bodes really well for long-term outcomes that are prosperous, beautiful, and loving.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Another thing that's interesting is that the lunar eclipse in Libra formed a trine with Pluto in Aquarius.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: Pluto as the planet of transformation or death and rebirth can, like eclipses themselves, trigger changes that feel unsettling.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: But this is a trine we're talking about.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Trines are very friendly, harmonious, and gentle aspects.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: And again, this would seem to indicate that
- 6:26SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: I'm going to be talking more about the upcoming solar eclipse in my Moon Circle newsletter on Substack.
- 7:02SPEAKER_00: One of the things I do there is put out a rather lengthy new moon forecast every month, and because this upcoming Aries new moon is also the solar eclipse, it will be focused heavily on that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: and you can get that delivered right to your email box by subscribing to the newsletter at mooncircle.substack.com there's also a piece there currently about the lunar eclipse which we just had okay moving on
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: We are discussing social planets, and you might remember from our prior episodes that the planets in our solar system can be divided into three groups depending on their distance from the Sun.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: The personal planets, which we've talked about and include the two luminaries Mercury, Venus, and Mars, are the closest to the Sun.
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: and they are the planets that have the biggest impact on our day-to-day lives.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: They also tend to have the strongest influence of all the planets on our personalities, our thinking and behavior as individuals.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: These planets move around the Sun relatively quickly due to their smaller orbits, which means we experience them as having a greater number of transits over our lifetime and the transits that we're having in our charts are constantly changing.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: And these are transit charts I'm talking about.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: Now, way over at the other end of the spectrum are the outer planets.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Those are Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: And while they can certainly influence us in personal ways, and we'll talk more about how in a future episode, their larger purpose is more about shaping generations of people and impacting the collective of humanity by bringing up certain themes for people to look at.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: For example, Millennials, having been born, many of them, most of them, with Pluto and Scorpio, have this very transformational energy about them, like all around, because both Pluto and Scorpio are about transformation.
- 9:19SPEAKER_00: And so they've been a generation known for
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: questioning why society has had the norms that it's had and if we really need them or if some of the pieces of society should be changed.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Another example is Generation X having Pluto and Libra which is about transforming the nature of relationships and of course this generation was the first generation that had large numbers of kids being raised by divorced parents or households where all the adults were
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: for Beginners featuring Stefanie Kate Boucher titled The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: So you have the personal planets on one end shaping us individually, the outer planets on the other end shaping us collectively, and in the middle you have the social planets Jupiter and Saturn and they function as the bridge between those two groups.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: These planets place you as an individual with all of your unique traits and talents and idiosyncrasies
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: into the context of your world and the communities and culture in which you live.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: These are the planets that allow you to function in society by creating value systems, a sense of structure, stable institutions and cultural traditions and all of that type of stuff.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: Jupiter and Saturn can also represent the polarity that exists between where your hopes are, where you're feeling optimistic, and what you believe you can have and do in life .
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: vs. Where You Rub Up Against Limitations Saturn For example, perhaps a child really dreams of growing up to be a professional basketball player or something, and that's how they see themselves in the future.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: It's something that brings them a ton of joy, and it's really, really fun, and they're very enthusiastic about the whole thing.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: That's Jupiter giving them a dream and giving them hope.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is responsible for that sense of joy they feel when they play which makes them want to keep doing it and then Saturn says well wait a minute that's not going to be so easy you're only you know genetically programmed to be five foot seven and that's not going to be tall enough or maybe you know you are tall enough but Saturn says okay you're only going to have a shot at this if you make lots of good choices and you are very disciplined and you work very very hard over
- 12:02SPEAKER_00: Jupiter stays in a single sign for about a year and it takes 12 to 13 years
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: to complete one full revolution around the Sun.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: So you get a Jupiter return about every 12 years or so and that's when Jupiter returns to the same place in the sky it was when you were born.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is called the Great Benefic which basically just means that it's considered very friendly and positive and Jupiter really is friendly and positive.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is the planet of blessings and good luck.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: and this is the planet that makes life feel joyful.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Jupiter brings the fun into our lives.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: It's also associated with abundance, prosperity, and growth and that could be material growth or wealth or it could be emotional or spiritual growth.
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Any kind of growth or expansion is possible with Jupiter.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: Jupiter magnifies and expands whatever it touches.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: As I alluded to before, Jupiter is extremely optimistic, sometimes overly optimistic, which you do have to be careful about with this planet because too much optimism could get you into trouble.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Too much optimism could have you making some poor choices like, say, at a blackjack table in Vegas, for example.
- 13:51SPEAKER_00: But of course, optimism is very important because we would never attempt to do anything at all unless we believed that we could or unless we believed that it might be possible.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: And Jupiter makes us believe that things are possible.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: So go give that thing a try, right?
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Go for it.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is adventurous and does that.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: It's also worth noting that Jupiter is very much associated with wisdom.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: It wants to find meaning in our existence here.
- 14:21SPEAKER_00: It's very philosophical and able to step back, see the big picture of life and how everything comes together and then create a vision.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: There's this famous quote from Robert Kennedy and he said, Some men see things as they are and ask why.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: I dream things that never were and ask why not.
- 14:46SPEAKER_00: This very much reminds me of Jupiter's energy because it's all at once benevolent, visionary, philosophical, and almost sort of has spiritual undertones, I think.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: It was a very Jupiter-like thing to say.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: So those are some of the ways that Jupiter can influence how we relate to the world on a personal level.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: In society itself, Jupiter rules over the areas of prosperity and philosophy, as mentioned.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: It also rules higher learning of all kinds, including academia.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Jupiter rules spirituality and religion.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: It rules our values, ethics and belief systems.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: Our belief systems most certainly fall under the realm of Jupiter.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: So does the legal system, by the way.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: And finally, Jupiter rules long distance travel and exploration.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Jupiter gives us a sense of adventure and encourages us to learn more about the world and about other people.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: So referring back to previous episodes of the show, Jupiter is the planetary ruler
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in your chart.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: Find the house that Jupiter is in in your chart when you have a chance.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: And of course you know from our episode on houses and from the handout provided in that episode that each house represents a particular part of your life.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: The house that Jupiter is in, in your chart, shows you the specific areas of your life where you are likely to experience opportunities, growth, expansion, and even blessings.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: This is an area of life that in many cases might just feel a little easier for you than other areas of your life do.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Things may come together here without you feeling like you have to try so hard.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Or when you do focus your efforts there, then you are capable of reaping very big rewards.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: Have you ever wondered why you or maybe someone else you know just seems to be lucky in a
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe you had a grandpa that, you know, smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish, ate tons of bacon and never really exercised, but he lived to be 90 anyway and like never had any major health problems while he was alive.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: Yet someone else in your family didn't do any of those unhealthy things.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: In fact, maybe they really tried hard to be healthy, but they seem to always have something going on with their health.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: So what's this all about, right?
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Well, maybe Jupiter.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: It's possible maybe Jupiter was involved in Grandpa's robust health despite the odds seemingly being against it.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And maybe the other person had, you know, Saturn involved there.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, you'd have to look at all different aspects of a chart, but these are the types of things that can happen.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: So again, look at the house, think about the different parts of your life that this house represents, and consider how these parts of your life are
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Areas where you have potential to really grow and expand.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: As an example, if you have Jupiter, let's say, in your second house of personal finances.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Well, first of all, if you have Jupiter in your second house of money and finances, good for you.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: That's pretty lucky.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: That may mean that making money comes pretty easily to you.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: You may have a real knack for knowing how to earn money.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: and lots of opportunities may come to you throughout your life that allow you to do that the second house though is also our house of personal values and self-esteem so Jupiter here could mean that you have a lot of confidence or it could also mean that you place a lot of emphasis on your personal value system and that value system is probably flavored by Jupiter's defining traits like for example
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: I always also like to address first house placements because they're a bit different.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: Remember that any planet in the first house becomes a big part of your persona and who you are and how you come across in the world.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in the first house would mean that Jupiter's energy, its traits and its characteristics are kind of infused into your personality.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: Having a planet conjunct with your Sun or making positive aspects with your Sun can also do similar things, by the way.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: It can also have the same kind of feel to it.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: So look for planets that are within 10 degrees in either direction from your Sun as well as planets in the first house.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: But someone with Jupiter in the first house would likely be a Jupiter-like person.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: who is very jovial very optimistic has a really positive attitude is very interested in the world and wants to learn and explore everything is highly generous philosophical maybe very spiritual and all those types of things that we talked about before
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Now, the sign that the planet is in, of course, is the indicator of how the energy of that planet will get expressed.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: It's how you go about acting out that Jupiter energy, how you go about creating that expansion that Jupiter blesses us with.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: and I'll get into each sign after we discuss Saturn because I'll do them together.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: So let's talk about Saturn.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: Saturn, lots of people don't love as much and for understandable reasons.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: Saturn's a disciplinarian, a strict teacher, a taskmaster who wants you to succeed but doesn't just hand things to you easily.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: it wants you to be disciplined it wants you to be responsible it wants you to exercise maturity it wants you to be committed to what you are doing and it wants you to create something structurally sound that is going to last a long time
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: In other words, Saturn asks you to work hard for the rewards that come your way.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: And of course, not everyone likes this idea all the time.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: We'd much prefer, almost all of us, that we accomplish our goals with ease and through some sort of divine blessing, as we might expect from Jupiter.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: And Saturn's not that.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Saturn's associated with limitations, obstacles, challenges, and sometimes really tough lessons.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: But here's the thing.
- 22:18SPEAKER_00: Saturn is very underrated, in my opinion.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: If you are willing to work with Saturn and put in the hard work and the time and the energy that it asks of you, it can be one of your most powerful placements.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: And the rewards over time can be enormous.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: In society, Saturn represents rules and regulations and laws.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: It represents order and structure.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: It represents stability.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: Tradition, also.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: It's what's expected of you.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Saturn represents consequences.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: Consequences, both positive and negative, are a big Saturnian theme.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: It represents mastery, pragmatism and realism.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: This is a no-frills, no-fantasy kind of energy.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: And it represents time.
- 23:12SPEAKER_00: The concept of father time is Saturn, essentially.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: The location of Saturn in your chart shows you where in your life you may meet more resistance, challenges, or delays.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: You might have to work a little harder or in some cases a lot harder to get what it is that you want here.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: And that's not to say that you can't get it.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: You have to put in effort and discipline.
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: You're going to feel this restrictive Saturn energy most strongly during the early part of your life, probably for at least the first three decades or so until you hit your Saturn return.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: Saturn Saturn Saturn Saturn Saturn
- 24:17SPEAKER_00: and it's when most people transition from being that younger more you know carefree version of themselves into their more mature adulthood and by the way I don't think I mentioned this before Saturn takes somewhere between two and three years to transit a single sign about two and a half
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: But back to your Saturn house and sign placement.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: You may find yourself challenged in this area in some way that is persistent and ongoing.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: But the good news is that you didn't end up with this placement just so you could be frustrated about it forever.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: That's not what we're talking about here.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: What it is supposed to do in its most ideal sense is provide you with a series of experiences
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Saturn is about having authority, but authority has to be earned.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: It's not just given.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: And each of us can choose to do that.
- 25:53SPEAKER_00: Isn't that amazingly cool?
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: You could make the choice to have your Saturn placement be a growth area and ultimately step into your authority there.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: It doesn't require blessings that come from on high or
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Saturn creates a structure for things.
- 26:31SPEAKER_00: So Saturn in your chart could also be about where in your life you are able to build something and where you're able to build something with a strong foundation or something that lasts.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: To quickly use an example, a person with Saturn in the second house might bump up against some challenges with personal finances, especially during their first few decades of life.
- 27:03SPEAKER_00: Just as one example, this person grew up in either a household that was financially strapped or limited in some way or maybe just a very frugal household where there was a lot of focus on how to live within your means and frivolous spending was either not possible or it was frowned upon.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: so this person may have grown up with limitations around money and they carry this sense of limitation into their early adulthood and they view possibly quite rightfully money as an area of difficulty or constraint so they've probably developed very conservative spending habits perhaps and they don't
- 27:46SPEAKER_00: What is also likely to happen is that this person has become very responsible with their money.
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: They are disciplined with it.
- 28:04SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: through perseverance and through sustained effort because Saturn tends to encourage those types of perspectives so they work toward changing their financial circumstances and they'll keep learning and keep experimenting and keep honing in on different practices and when resources start coming in
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: The Social Planets Jupiter Saturn
- 29:08SPEAKER_00: And in really strong examples of this, certainly not everyone will go this route, but they could, this person may even be seen by others as a real authority around how to earn money, around how to work your way up from nothing, around how to save up for retirement.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: Maybe they write a book or start a podcast on it or just give advice to all their friends.
- 29:34SPEAKER_00: So again Saturn in the second house is a very different path than Jupiter in the second house, but both can lead to success and fulfillment.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: Alright, let's talk about these planets in the signs and then we'll wrap this up so you can go think about your charts.
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: I'll go through each sign and talk about both planets together.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: And of course we'll start with Aries.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: You lucky Aries people always get to go first.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: If you have Jupiter in Aries,
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: You might be someone who is of the mindset that you make your own luck.
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: Aries always signals very direct and assertive ways of doing things.
- 30:12SPEAKER_00: So this person would probably be full of enthusiasm, eager to explore the world, willing to take risks, could be very leadership oriented, and your blessings may come to you through taking action.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: If you have Saturn in Aries, that can be about learning how to assert yourself and getting better at that over time, or about developing patience around getting what you want.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: Because Aries isn't always the most patient of signs, right?
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: It could also be about developing courage or facing challenges that help you build up your courage.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: Taurus if you have Jupiter in Taurus you may seek to expand your long-term growth and prosperity.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: Taurus is a stable persistent earth sign remember who likes to take things slow so you might have good luck creating stability in the house where you know Jupiter is located and
- 31:15SPEAKER_00: and will probably end up feeling very comfortable there.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: But it's going to be this very sustained kind of comfort.
- 31:23SPEAKER_00: With Saturn in Taurus, this can help people learn lessons around building strong foundations and building lives that give them a sense of structure.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: Much like a second house placement, this can be about building security over time.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Those tend to be the types of themes we get around Taurus.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Gemini suggests that you may really naturally excel in the area of communication and that sharing knowledge with others may be a pathway to growth and expansion for you.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: You might find a lot of opportunities that come to you through
- 32:03SPEAKER_00: Saturn in Gemini asks you to build up your communication skills again over time and you may at some point become a respected authority in some area tied to communication or at least in some area that requires you to use some hard-won communication skills.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Cancer finds that opportunities come to them through being nurturing or through being a protector of other people.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: There's an expansion of compassion and sensitivity here and this can serve them and the people around them quite well.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: They make really good parents, typically, or they can just have good luck protecting or helping other people in their communities and so on.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: Saturn in Cancer can become a real authority on the home front or in any place or any setting where people need to be nurtured.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: They may run a tight ship, however, and be the disciplinarian of the household.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: That can crop up with Saturn for sure.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: In Leo,
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is very expressive and luck is really on their side when they are bold, when they speak up or speak out, and when they engage themselves creatively.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Leo is confident and it gravitates toward being in the spotlight and they may find that they get a lot of opportunities to be in the spotlight.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: Saturn in Leo may have some trouble expressing itself early on possibly due to lack of confidence or maybe imposter syndrome but with practice and again maturity and time they can get really good at it and even become a public speaker or a performer or something like that.
- 33:57SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Virgo, well, if you have this placement, luck comes to you through your extensive problem-solving skills, your analytical nature, your ability to see all the details, and just using your intellect generally.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: Saturn in Virgo might struggle with perfectionism or self-criticism.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: It can be a nitpicky placement.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: or on the flip side there could be struggles around organization that you have to work on there's also potential with either of these planets in Virgo that you'll end up becoming very service oriented and develop a sense of authority around serving your community or people or the greater good somehow because Virgo also carries the energy of service
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Libra is blessed with diplomacy skills and the ability to get along well with others.
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: This is going to open doors for you and take you some places.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Saturn in Libra again could indicate challenges related to relationships or cooperation or on the other end of cooperation codependency but again that gets easier for you to work with over time.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: In Scorpio, Jupiter brings you blessings through transformative experiences.
- 35:22SPEAKER_00: There could be some rather dramatic life changes that happen from time to time, but they always end up resulting in life pivots or periods of enormous growth in some way.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: There could also be blessings that happen around intimacy.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: Saturn in this sign could be about learning to embrace change.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: Saturn likes stability, so deep transformation takes it out of its comfort zone for sure.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: It also asks you to get more comfortable with emotional intensity and intimacy.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: In Sagittarius, Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so this is a very compatible placement.
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: I've heard it said that you're actually extra lucky as a person with this placement.
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: You really get to double down on Jupiter's themes.
- 36:14SPEAKER_00: You're extra expansive, extra adventurous, definitely a real visionary, very open-minded, and you may be one of those people who just has some lucky things happen to them, honestly.
- 36:27SPEAKER_00: Watch out for being overly optimistic, though, to the point of carelessness because that's the caveat there.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: Saturn here is going to be about learning to balance optimism with realism so that you can ultimately have a healthy dose of both.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: The lesson is that you need both of these planetary energies to make life work well.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Capricorn is similar because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn so again this one is about balancing the two energies but with this one you want to accomplish your dreams but you learn to do that in a very pragmatic way that leads to long-term success if you have Saturn in Capricorn again this planet rules that sign so it's very comfortable here but this would be someone who was generally very traditional
- 37:17SPEAKER_00: Astrology for Beginners
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: Jupiter is going to find a lot of luck being forward-thinking and inventive.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: They're clever, out-of-the-box thinkers, and this can bring a lot of abundance and satisfaction into their lives.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: Saturn in this sign is a good problem solver, but this person may struggle a bit between the desire to be themselves and risk being different and the desire to fit in.
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: They want to contribute something unique, but they don't want to become alienated for it, and they're looking for balance.
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Jupiter in Pisces Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, so it is happy here, and it indicates blessings around creativity, spirituality, and even romance in some cases.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: There's often a
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: very powerful intuition that a person can use to create positive things in their life with Jupiter in Pisces.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: Saturn here by contrast can make it difficult to connect to your intuition or your sense of spirituality which can cause some problems like escapism or unhealthy behaviors until the person gets better at nurturing their spiritual side.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: It can also indicate someone who has some difficulty maybe setting boundaries and is learning to value themselves more.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: Okay that's all the signs.
