A Pennsylvania cop is facing manslaughter charges after fatally shooting a 22-year-old man who was unarmed and had his hands raised—just feet away from the officer’s car. Body cam footage shows the moment Corporal Sean Farrell opened fire despite clear signs of compliance, prompting prosecutors to say deadly force wasn’t justified. The family mourns their loss, calls it reckless, and thanks prosecutors for pursuing justice. Farrell turned himself in, posted bail, surrendered his weapons, and awaits a September hearing.
