Redge: Cue the Hotline Message! Hello friend, you've reached Mr.
• 3:44
  Redge: Redge's hotline.
• 3:46
Redge: What are you curious about today?
• 3:49
  Braylon: Hey Jonathan, hey Reginald.
• 3:50
Braylon: My name is Braylon, I'm ten years old, and my question is can we go see Rapunzel and Mythdom?
• 3:56
  Braylon: Thank you.
• 3:58
Redge: Oh Braylon, we absolutely adore Rapunzel.
• 4:03
Jonathan: Our stem princess of Mythdom.
• 4:05
  Redge: Wicked smart.
• 4:07
Jonathan: Do you remember when we first met her back in season three?
• 4:10
  Redge: How could I forget?
• 4:12
Redge: She walked up your driveway completely covered in mud.
• 4:16
Jonathan: Because she escaped her tower to get to the science fair
• 4:19
  Redge: to win a scholarship.
• 4:21
Jonathan: And ever since then, she's been one of our favorite adventurers in Mythdom.
• 4:27
Redge: Question everything! That's her scientific motto.
• 4:31
Jonathan: Braylon, have you heard Rapunzel's hopscotch hypothesis
• 4:35
  Redge: Yes Oh yes.
• 4:37
Redge: The episode where Rapunzel used science to solve the mystery of why all my energy disappeared, and I didn't want to go on any adventures at all.
• 4:47
Jonathan: Which was deeply alarming, by the way, and she used the scientific method to discover why.
• 4:53
Jonathan: I think it would be very cool to go on more adventures with Rapunzel and Mythdom someday.
• 4:58
Jonathan: Next up is Sebastian from Australia.
• 5:02
Redge: Ooh, that's very far from Once Upon A Time.
• 5:05
Jonathan: Sebastian's grown up sent us an email saying he really enjoys our stories and wants to know if we'll make more Scribleton adventures.
• 5:14
Redge: Scribbbleton, the tiniest town in Once Upon A Time with
• 5:20
  Liverwort: I am liverwort.
• 5:22
Jonathan: And other friends we had to shrink down to meet.
• 5:25
Jonathan: It really would be fun to explore more of Scribbleton, and um you didn't hear it here, Sebastian, but we may even have plans to do so this season.
• 5:35
Jonathan: Redge, Sebastian also asked our favorite animals.
• 5:39
Jonathan: Sebastian said that his are tigers, and I shared that mine is a big old grizzly bear.
• 5:45
  Redge: Hmm, strong choices.
• 5:47
Redge: As for me, well I suppose listeners will be absolutely shocked to learn
• 5:55
  Jonathan: Dramatic Pause
• 5:57
Redge: that my favorite animal is the magnificent hedgehog.
• 6:02
Redge: Clever, cozy, excellent taste in accessories, outstanding taste in snacks.
• 6:09
Jonathan: Some of these feel very specific.
• 6:11
Redge: Well I stand by them.
• 6:13
Jonathan: Next up, Saoirse sent us artwork using the Mr.
• 6:16
  Jonathan: Redge Hotline coloring page.
• 6:18
Redge: Which is such a cool way to send a question.
• 6:22
Jonathan: Saoirse says that she's currently listening to Sleepy Hollow and loves how spooky it is.
• 6:27
Redge: Mmm, excellent taste in dramatic storytelling.
• 6:30
Jonathan: Sleepy Hollow was one of my favorite spooky tales growing up, so I'm really happy you enjoy our Dorktales version, Saoirse.
• 6:37
Redge: Jack and the Beanstalk is still her favorite episode.
• 6:40
Redge: Excellent drawing of Jack climbing up the Beanstalk, by the way.
• 6:44
Jonathan: That one was so much fun to perform, especially the ogre and ogress scenes.
• 6:49
Redge: That's interesting because Saoirse wants to know how you make so many unique noises and sound effects.
• 6:57
Jonathan: Honestly, I always loved making sounds with my voice.
• 7:00
Jonathan: Monster growls, howls, chirps, sword fight sounds, evil laughs, whatever helps bring a story world to life.
• 7:09
Jonathan: I did them when I was playing pretend and making up stories as a kid.
• 7:13
Jonathan: And now I get to do them for you, Saoirse, and all our listening friends.
• 7:17
Jonathan: Thank you for asking me about it.
• 7:19
Redge: You do make an alarmingly convincing monster roar.
• 7:22
Jonathan: I also studied and performed on stage, which really helped me learn how to control and project my voice.
• 7:29
Redge: And now he uses those powers for storytelling magic.
• 7:33
  Jonathan: A very noble calling.
• 7:35
Redge: Delainey asks, have any characters come out of Once Upon A Time into our world?
• 7:41
Redge: And if not, who would you bring?
• 7:44
Jonathan: Well, Alice has taken us into Wonderland before, but no character has officially come to Earth yet.
• 7:51
Redge: Probably because filling out a paperwork at the Dimensional Crossing Station is exhausting.
• 7:56
Jonathan: If I could bring anyone here, though, it would definitely be you, Redge.
• 8:01
Redge: Oh, Jonathan! I would finally get to try your world's movie theater popcorn.
• 8:07
  Jonathan: That's your first priority?
• 8:09
  Redge: Obviously.
• 8:11
Jonathan: Josephine from Canada wants to know if we'll make more spy mystery episodes and continue the story of the Lair of the Rat King.
• 8:19
Redge: Double O Quills reporting for duty.
• 8:22
  Jonathan: Should we tell her?
• 8:23
Redge: I am authorized to reveal that after a recent meeting with Agent M, Jack A.
• 8:29
Redge: Lope and I will indeed be reporting for a brand new spy mission later this season.
• 8:36
Jonathan: Josephine and I are really going to love that.
• 8:39
  Redge: Top secret excitement.
• 8:40
Jonathan: And speaking of the lair of the Rat King, Cam M.
• 8:44
Jonathan: Bert, or King Cam, as he lets us call him, is so cool.
• 8:49
Redge: His train inventions are incredible.
• 8:52
Jonathan: The magical and mechanical work happening beneath Once Upon A Time is amazing.
• 8:57
Jonathan: I don't know when we'll return to the Rat King's lair, but I hope we do someday too.
• 9:02
Oryn, Yahir and Mom: My name is Oryn.
• 9:03
Oryn, Yahir and Mom: Hi Jonathan.
• 9:05
Oryn, Yahir and Mom: This is Oryn's mom, and he loves listening to Dork tales on the Yoto.
• 9:10
Oryn, Yahir and Mom: And he wants to listen to all of season six because he is six.
• 9:16
Oryn, Yahir and Mom: And also, Yahir would like to listen to season four because he is four.
• 9:22
  Jonathan: Hi, Oryn and Yahir!
• 9:23
  Redge: Hi, Yoto listeners.
• 9:25
Jonathan: You're one of so many families who listen to Dork tales on Yoto from around the world,
• 9:31
Redge: which makes us very happy little storytellers.
• 9:34
Jonathan: The Yoto app currently has 50 of our most recent episodes, and whenever a new episode arrives,
• 9:40
Redge: the oldest one rolls off the app like a sleepy little storytelling conveyor belt.
• 9:46
Jonathan: But grown-ups, just like I told Oryn and Yahir's mom, you can always find our full catalog organized by season on our website at Dorktalestorytime.com.
• 9:57
Jonathan: And using our RSS feed, families can even make their own Dorktales Yoto cards filled with favorite stories from our entire canon.
• 10:06
Redge: Huzzah! Jonathan, may I share some of the listener tale tour ideas we've received?
• 10:12
Redge: They're too good not to share.
• 10:14
  Jonathan: Absolutely.
• 10:16
Annabel: Hi, my name is Annabel, and I have an idea for another tale tour for you guys.
• 10:22
Annabel: I've been studying about this in my fourth grade class, and I really think it'd be a good idea and excited to have a trip to the Grand Canyon.
• 10:32
Annabel: It really is a fun journey where you can explore different wildlife, water sources, and rocks.
• 10:40
Annabel: It might be exciting for a lot of kids to learn about the history of the earth.
• 10:45
Jonathan: Wow, Annabel, that was so well presented.
• 10:49
  Redge: Seriously impressive.
• 10:51
Jonathan: You made the Grand Canyons sound so fascinating.
• 10:56
Redge: Wildlife, rocks, earth history, adventure.
• 11:00
Jonathan: I think you would make an excellent tour guide for a journey like that.
• 11:06
Redge: Professor Annabelle of the Grand Canyon Expedition.
• 11:11
Isla: Hi, I'm Isla, and I wanted to know if you could read a unicorn story to me, but I wanted to know if I could be in the story with all the unicorns.
• 11:26
  Redge: Oh, my dear Isla.
• 11:28
Redge: I hope you know you're already part of every story we tell.
• 11:34
Jonathan: And Redge really does love unicorns.
• 11:37
Redge: Especially Nico the Unicorn, the protector of unicorn magic in Once Upon A Time.
• 11:43
Jonathan: Listeners might remember her golden bow tie was stolen by Bull Dozer, the Meanie Minotaur.
• 11:50
Redge: Which was my mission to recover with Jack A.
• 11:53
Redge: Lope in the episode Operation Golden Tie.
• 11:57
Redge: You know, Isla, you remind me a little of Agent Kit from that story.
• 12:02
Jonathan: Curious and full of imaginative ideas.
• 12:05
Jonathan: Now let's hear what Lizzie has to say.
• 12:08
Lizzie: My idea for a place for Jonathan and Redge to go is the Sundown Zone.
• 12:14
Lizzie: And they're gonna have a party with the mosquitoes and all the creatures that come out at sunset.
• 12:21
Lizzie: The sundown zone is a place where it's always sunset for the animals to party and have a fun time.
• 12:30
  Redge: The sundown zone?
• 12:32
Redge: What a clever idea, fellow bug lover.
• 12:36
Jonathan: Lizzie, you remind me of Evelyn Cheesman,
• 12:40
Redge: the insect scientist you told me about in the Hidden Heroes of History episode?
• 12:44
  Jonathan: Mm-hmm.
• 12:45
Jonathan: She was an entomologist, someone who studies insects, and she went on eight solo expeditions, discovering new species of insects, reptiles, amphibians, and plants.
• 12:58
  Redge: Over 70,000 of them.
• 13:00
Jonathan: That kind of curiosity and imagination reminds me a lot of your sundown idea, Lizzie.
• 13:06
Redge: I would absolutely attend a sunset dance party for bugs.
• 13:11
Louisa: My name is Louisa and I live in New York.
• 13:14
Louisa: Can you please go to the Foreshadow for your magical minivan exploration?
• 13:19
Louisa: I would like to s have a podcast about that because you have never had one.
• 13:24
  Louisa: Thank you.
• 13:26
  Jonathan: Ah, the Foreshadow.
• 13:29
Redge: The ever dark lands of once upon a time, where it always feels like midnight.
• 13:36
Jonathan: Louisa, we actually do have something in the works connected to the lands of Once Upon a Time,
• 13:41
  Redge: including the Foreshadow.
• 13:43
Jonathan: We can't say too much about it yet.
• 13:45
Redge: A top secret storytelling business, you know,
• 13:48
Jonathan: but keep listening for updates.
• 13:51
Redge: And meanwhile, have you heard our episode Hoggenstein?
• 13:56
Jonathan: That's the story where Lugo the Bat tells us about working in the Foreshadow with the infamous Warthog scientist Hogenstein.
• 14:05
  Redge: Very spooky and mysterious.
• 14:08
  Jonathan: And now
• 14:09
Redge: it's shout out time! First names only, sometimes a last initial, plus a few Apple podcasts and Spotify account names.
• 14:19
Jonathan: And as always, we'll do our best with pronunciations.
• 14:22
  Jonathan: So here we go.

• 15:43
Redge: Redge hotline, don't you think?
• 15:45
  Jonathan: I agree 100%, Redge.
• 15:47
