The Sleeper Awakes Chapter 5 - The Moving Ways
In which the protagonist beholds a vast and wondrous architectural marvel, a great arcade filled with moving platforms coursing swiftly through the immense space and thronged by a multitude of strikingly dressed people. Amidst the clamour of voices recognising him as "the Sleeper," he is caught in a turbulent stir of excitement and urgency, compelling him to be hastened away before the city descends into confusion.
