It's libited. Welcome everybody. Welcome to this week's edition The Snowreal Does Show,
0:21
Episode number seven hundred and thirty eight for April fourth, twenty twenty four.
0:26
Welcome to your WrestleMania forty pre show edition of s r T You I
0:34
am one after the show, I am Jeff Peck. Joined every single week
0:38
in my host The Lonely Doctor Tray Franklin Doctor Trey. For the fourteenth time
0:42
in SRTU history, we preview WrestleMania. My friend, Uh, this is
0:47
always kind of like my nostalgia show in a way because my first time really
0:53
being the co host was on a WrestleMania show. So I'm like, I
0:59
get excited because I get to kind of relive my previous twelve years now with
1:03
the show. Can I pause you right there? Yeah? So, oddly
1:07
enough, I had written down a note in my phone at one time and
1:11
we must have been talking about like how long you've been with It must have
1:17
been some sort of like big show for us, because I wrote down and
1:21
I just found out my phone today. Oddly enough, Captain's first show as
1:25
full time host March twenty ninth, twenty twelve, it was to preview Wrestle
1:30
Manti twenty eight, episode number one hundred and eleven. It is now episode
1:34
number seven thirty eight, and it's April fourth, twenty twenty four, so
1:38
officially twelve years now being the co host wrestled Maybia twenty eight, which is
1:44
actually still one of my least favorite WrestleManias but for all but yeah, like
1:49
that's why I get excited because it brings all that, all that back to
1:52
me. I remember being parked on the side of a mountain discussing WrestleMania Team
2:00
nine with you. At one point we were on this. We did like
2:02
an hour and forty five minutes on that show. It's like, it's crazy,
2:07
how far like six hundred episodes, six hundred twenty seven episodes now,
2:12
Like it's amazing for me just to reflect on twelve years, like I said
2:16
before, like you like not too long ago. Like I have a sixteen
2:21
year old daughter who I saw the show she was four, you know,
2:23
and now we have little Saty Franklin running around with Spider Man and Carnage,
2:29
yelling at Kirby Ponder's attendance. Whitch. So all these things that have happened
2:32
in twelve years, which doesn't seem like, you know, you've been doing
2:36
fourteen years. I've been doing twelve. It doesn't seem like it's been twelve
2:39
years. But dear God, I mean, at one point, Jeff Cole
2:44
Cobannon see a punk, we're friends. We did this. Yeah, there's
2:47
a lot of stuff that was going on. Aw wasn't around Tony Kahn's family
2:52
didn't known Jacksonville Jaguars. Yeah, there was a bunch of stuff that was
2:55
going on when we first started recording this podcast. This is my fifth teenth
3:00
year covering WrestleMania in a podcast form. The first time I was on the
3:04
Wheelhouse, it was for Wrestlemaning twenty five. I remember being in New York
3:07
City in a studio and we were on blog Talk Radio Live that evening,
3:13
and I remember always remember that in the chat. I don't think you called
3:16
it. I think it was in the chat that you had written that Ray
3:22
Mysterio just defeated JBL to win the Intercontinental Championship in less than a minute and
3:28
JBL immediately retired after the match. I always remember that. So it's like
3:31
wild to think here we are fifteen years later and we're talking into microphones about
3:37
this. Podcasting when we first started covering professional wrestling was very new at the
3:43
time. Now everybody has a podcast, and podcasting has evolved so much.
3:47
Even the audio form of podcasting is almost outdated to it a point. It's
3:53
a lot of people watching stuff on YouTube or Vimeo or TikTok, Instagram,
3:59
what have you. Twitch people are now watching podcasts, which is kind of
4:02
funny. We've we've gone from audio being the cool thing to now video is
4:09
the cool thing. So I guess maybe video killed the podcast are maybe so
4:14
fourteen years of covering WrestleManias here previewing WrestleMania is it's something else. So from
4:20
wrestlming in twenty five when I was on a wheelhouse to Wrestlemanting twenty six being
4:24
the first one we ever covered in the history of the still Real does show
4:26
in Phoenix, Arizona, to today in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for WrestleMania forty.
4:33
It has been a wild ride. It has been a fun ride, and
4:38
we all brace ourselves. This is like the first official kickoff for me,
4:43
for Doctor Trey, for Everyboddy that's listening to this podcast, hopefully the same
4:46
for you to WrestleMania Weekend. I joke around, especially the last couple of
4:49
years when it's been two nights, that at the end of this all,
4:54
we all should have a T shirt that they sell. Actually, I think
4:57
they should give it away that says I survived wrestle Ay forty weekend because Friday
5:01
night you've got SmackDown right after the Hall of Fame ceremony, Saturday Morning Stand
5:08
and the Liver, Saturday Night Wrestling forty uh, Sunday Night Wrestling forty night
5:13
too, Monday Night, the RYE after WrestleMania Tuesday Night, the NXT after
5:17
Standing Liver Wednesday. I guess there's a break from we programming, but if
5:21
you tune inn aw WHI just continues on and on. It is something to
5:27
behold, Doctor Trey. When we first started, it was just one night.
5:30
There was no NXT, it was just one show. There was the
5:33
Hall of Fame the night before, and now it's just NonStop. And I'm
5:38
not even including the things that they've added to it. The kickoff show to
5:43
the weekend on Friday afternoon, the Slammys on Sunday morning now is back.
5:47
It's it's a wild ride, Doctor Tray. I feel like at times that
5:53
maybe it's it's a bit much, but I guess the way to look at
5:57
it is it is a celebration one weekend a year from the standpoint to just
6:00
celebrate professional wrestling. Yeah, and and you know we talk about it,
6:03
you know, fourteen years of this show covering it, and and even at
6:10
twenty eight or at twenty six, it was a big event, and it's
6:14
just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger. And you have all the other companies
6:18
that now show up to piggyback off Wrestleman and that's been going on for probably
6:23
about really hard for about seven eight years that we've had these you know,
6:27
the gc w's, the czw's, all these our shows showing up around the
6:31
area. So you got all that stuff going on. It's it's it's crazy.
6:36
The other thing was juggle with with with the wife about it the other
6:41
day because I told her that, you know, hey, this, you
6:42
know that this weekend's WrestleMania weekend. It's two nights, and all of a
6:45
sudden going on, I'm like, you know, you and I have both
6:46
gotten married and we've had to convince our significant others that who were not really
6:53
wrestling fans when they met us that it's perfectly normal for us to consume twenty
7:00
some hours of wrestling over three period and them be okay and not leave us
7:06
strand on the side of the road somewhere. Yeah. I have this discussion
7:12
with my wife. I have this discussion with my family. It's like,
7:15
it's wrestlemaning a weekend and they all get it. It's like literally one weekend
7:17
a year where all I dedicate is to just sit down on my couch and
7:21
watch professional wrestling. It's a lot, and I think if you've removed the
7:27
wrestling fandom outside of this entire thing, Doctor Trey, Like, it's crazy
7:30
how much programming is on and wrestling fans can't get enough of it. It's
7:35
like, I would love to enjoy my Friday or Saturday night and maybe just
7:40
tune in a wrestlemaning on Sunday. But I also sat through like seven hours
7:44
of wrestlemanting thirty five and that was wild. It's a grind. It's a
7:50
fun grind, but it's a grind. And what's crazy to me, especially
7:54
the last two years, is when you look back at our shows of the
7:57
year, we always see to love wrestlemaning, especially these last two years Wrestumanting
8:03
is Saturday, specifically for thirty eight and thirty nine were some of the most
8:05
highest rated shows we've ever covered in the history of SRTU, and that is
8:09
sandwiched in between a SmackDown a Hall of Fame on a Friday, a stand
8:15
in the liver on Saturday morning, and then knowing that another show is coming
8:18
Sunday night, Like that's that's pretty amazing that by that point, middle of
8:22
Saturday, middle of it all, that we're so entertained, this show still
8:26
resonates where it's matched the event of the year quality that we're not completely exhausted,
8:31
ready to tap out and go what the hell am I doing with my
8:33
life? I do think there's also a little bit of thankfulness to that.
8:37
Now, look, the last two wrestleme has been fantastic. I'm not going
8:41
to question our judgment on it. But we also came out of the pandemic
8:45
era and a little bit of the Vince Booking era. Because I don't really
8:50
think that maybe thirty four and thirty five we're up to par where we would
8:56
like them to be. Then you know, we kind of leaned into the
8:58
pandemic era and then coming out of it and a little bit of you know,
9:03
you don't know what you got un till it's gone have been the last
9:05
two Wrestlemans. But the booking has been really solid, the performance have been
9:09
really solid, and plus you have really strong competition kind of pushing the envelope
9:15
as well. So I mean it's just been kind of a perfect storm of
9:20
everything coming together. But yeah, like if you can go, you know,
9:24
eight hours of WrestleMania, plus you started adding in all the other shows
9:28
and like I said earlier, probably almost close twenty hours of ww programming over
9:33
four days and still not be sick of it. That that kind of tells
9:37
you that you're on part Now. I will say last year month, the
9:41
raw after WrestleMania was god awful. I think we all agree on that.
9:45
The month after WrestleMania. Yeah, the raw after WrestleMania, the raw after
9:48
WrestleMania, the one that Vince took over. Yeah, No, people were
9:52
not a fan of that, but I ultimately think we all kind of like
9:54
swallowed our pride on that because everybody was really upset about the Brock Cody stuff,
10:00
and I thought that ended up being very good. Yeah, it's funny
10:03
because I was listening to I've been listening a bunch of Chris Van Valley's interviews
10:07
this week, and everybody's talking about Cody's story, Cody story, and you
10:13
know, should he have won it last year? And da da dada.
10:15
I'm like, people kind of forget how good that brought Cody feud was and
10:20
that all started on that raw after WrestleMania, and that we all kind of
10:24
universally hated. I think, you know, it's it's sometimes you know,
10:28
we need jerk react to stuff, and it's like, well, this actually
10:31
works out pretty well, sou but it all kind of led into this,
10:35
so, yeah, you gotta look at it. Go. This is almost
10:37
two years of booking and storyline leading into this WrestleMania. Yeah. I mean,
10:43
there's a lot of different ways to look at it, and I'm sure
10:45
we'll we'll touch upon it here later in the show. But I get the
10:48
Cody story stuff, but I also understand like how good Roman Reigns has been
10:52
right now, Like I think, yeah, two, five, ten,
10:58
fifteen, twenty years from now, we look back at the era of Roman
11:01
Reigns dominating as a world champion or like, man that was a really good
11:05
time for professional wrestling. Has it been a little bit down in the last
11:09
six to twelve months, Yeah, it has been because he hasn't been on
11:11
television all that much. But you can make a strong case that one of
11:16
the reasons why wrestling is so good right now is because of Roman Reigns and
11:18
the bloodline, the creative behind them and what they're doing in the ring,
11:22
and what they're doing with their matches, what they're doing with the vignettes and
11:24
the backstage. And that doesn't just happen because of what some writers writing or
11:28
the direction the Triple H is pulling, like Roman Reigns, Paul Hayman,
11:33
Jimmy j Solo, Sammy, whoever's involved in that storyline has to pull the
11:39
same, you know, make it compelling on television. They've done that as
11:41
well. It's been a lot of fun. I'm really excited for wrestling.
11:46
He forty weekend. It's got to be a grind. Say goodbye to your
11:48
friends and family for this webcoming weekend and hopefully everybody has a fun time sitting
11:52
down watching wrestling for I don't know, fifty eight hours whatever it ends up
11:56
being. Let's start with Friday, right Doctor trey Wa Hall of Fame Class
12:01
of twenty twenty four. Get our thoughts here. I mean, there's no
12:03
way we're gonna like, oh, I predict you know, I guess there
12:07
are predictions and spoilers in this, but just overall thoughts. You've got Paul
12:11
Hayman to be inducted by Roman Reigns. Paul mccanno is reportedly going to be
12:15
inducted by MENDUSA, Thunderball Patterson is going to be inducted by his friend Scott
12:18
Spears, not to be confused by Sean Spears. Leamiavilla is going to be
12:22
inducted by the Rock Uh, the US Express, Barry Wyndham, and micro
12:26
Tunda. There at this point, there's no induction who's inducting them quite yet?
12:31
And the Muhammad Ali is going to be inducted by Lannie Ali. Don't
12:35
tray your thoughts on the Hall of Fame Class of twenty twenty four. It's
12:39
it's a good class, I think, I mean to me, it's it's
12:43
a good quality class. It may not have that headliner guy that you know
12:48
everybody knows, you know, it doesn't have you know, it doesn't have
12:54
you know, the Hulk Cocans of the Rocks doesn't have that name brand guy
12:58
that I mean. It's not the Undertaker from last for his last year,
13:01
year before last, but I mean for wrestling fans, I mean Paul Haman
13:05
Thunderbolt Patterson. Like, I'm really hoping a lot of the younger folks learn
13:09
about him from this. Leah Mayavia, if you watch Young Rock, you
13:13
learned a lot about her from that. Berry Windom and Microtunda are two of
13:16
the greatest in ring performers of my generation, you know, growing up.
13:22
So I'm really excited for the class. I am surprised at, you know,
13:26
Roman inducting Paul Hayman, but I guess storyline wise, it makes sense
13:30
because dear God, how much fun would have been to have CM punk induct
13:33
Paul Hayman into the Hall of Fame in Philadelphia, you know, but it
13:39
makes sense. I'm and you know, I think if you listen to this
13:41
show long ago, everybody knows I'm a huge Paul Hayman fan. He's Paul
13:45
Hayman mark. So like I'm I'm really excited for Paul's speech on this.
13:48
Yeah, Hayman had an interview where they talked about his Hall of Fame induction.
13:52
I guess he turned it down a couple of times. He didn't want
13:54
to do it while he was active, and it got to the point where
14:00
he didn't want to disrespect Triple H. This is the first Hall of Fame
14:03
induction class that Triple H has been behind. He did not want to disrespect
14:07
Triple H as the quote unquote headliner. And he also mentioned that his children
14:11
pushed him to participate in this as well and get his flowers. So I
14:18
fully expect the speech to be wonderful and interresting for Paul Hayman's sake. I
14:24
wonder if there's gonna be any type of silencing on brock Lessner mentions. I
14:28
would imagine there isn't, So it's going to be a fun night. To
14:33
me. The Hall of Fame is like the most sincere joyous ceremony of Wrestmania
14:37
weekend, where it's like wrestling fans love love note to professional wrestling, and
14:43
the wrestlers who are being honored love note back to professional wrestling and the wrestling
14:46
fans. So I just feel like it's such a positive energy in the room
14:50
and I'm really looking forward to watch in the Hall of Fame late on Friday
14:54
night after SmackDown, Let's go to Saturday Morning, Doctor Trey, NXT Stand
14:58
and the Liver preview predictions this Saturday from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia,
15:03
Pennsylvania. We've got one, two, three, four, five, six
15:07
seven matches on the card. We'll start with the pre show here. You've
15:11
got Sewn Spears taking on Joe Gasey. I'm gonna take Shawn Spears in this
15:15
one, Doctor Troy, real quick? What time does this show start?
15:20
Twelve pm Eastern? So I so technically it's it's morning for me, but
15:24
it's actually noon for you. Okay. So I'm intrigued by this, and
15:30
I know we've done a morning show like this before, but for like the
15:33
performers to be I mean, that's an early morning TV call time and get
15:39
out in the ring. It's aren't going So I'm gonna be interesting how the
15:43
performances are for a show this early. But Shawn Spears Joe Gasey, I
15:48
kind of want these guys to end up being together. I don't know about
15:50
you, but I just the craziness of Joe Gayzy and the Shawn Spears character.
15:56
They're they're portraying right now. I kind of want them to end up
15:58
together at some point, but I'm taking Sean Spears because I feel like Gays,
16:03
He's just in this like lovable crazy person role where it doesn't matter if
16:08
he wins or loses because his performances regardless are memorable. So I'll take Sean
16:14
Spears getting the win over Joe Gason. Next match is THEA Hale fallon Henley
16:18
Klane Jordan Taken On Jacy Jane, Keana James and is He Dame? Doctor
16:22
Trey? Who do you like this one? It's it's a WrestleMania weekend,
16:26
it's early in the show. I usually I take baby Faces a lot during
16:30
Wrestlemany weekends, but I will take the Heels in this one, so I'll
16:34
take je I can't for Jesse, Jace Jane, Jay C Jane. I
16:40
kept want to think Josie and the Pussycats for some reason. Oh take Jase
16:44
James team to get the winning this one. I'm gonna take Ja C Jane
16:47
and Keana James is he Dame as well? I think you got to keep
16:49
feeding the fire to make the baby Faces very compelling and a win by the
16:53
Heels is the way that it should go at Stanton Liver. Next match,
16:57
here's for the NXC Tag Team champion Ship Baron Corbin and Broun Breaker. The
17:00
wolf Dogs will be defending against Nathan Fraser and Axiom. That really surprised me
17:06
that Nathan Fraser and Axiom won. That They've been really fun to watch on
17:10
NXC television, So I'm pleasantly happy and surprised. I thought this spot was
17:12
gonna be taken by Gallas and Anderson. It was not. With that said,
17:18
I'm gonna go with Baron, Corben and Brown Breaker to retain. I
17:19
think if it was Gallows and Anderson in this match, I would take the
17:22
Good Brothers, but it's not, so I think Baron and Braun retain,
17:27
even though Braun is on SmackDown right now. Yeah, I completely agree with
17:33
you. I was totally expecting the Good Brothers to get to win. They
17:36
didn't. I thought Nathan Fraser Axium are gonna break up like four months ago.
17:41
It hasn't happened yet, so and I just don't see a clear spot
17:47
right now for Braun to really. I know you've had a couple of matches
17:49
on SmackDown, but once Russell Meini season kind of kicked off. We really
17:53
haven't seen him on SmackDown that much. So I'm gonna take Braun and Baron
17:56
getting the win as well and retaining stand and deliver. Next match, here
18:02
is Opa Femi defending the NX North American Championship in a triple threat match against
18:06
Die Jack and Josh Briggs. If there was a time for Opa Femi to
18:10
lose the championship and not get pinned, you do it in a triple threat
18:14
match. Will that be the case on Saturday morning? Not to try,
18:18
I'm going with Oba fam I think he's the fastest rising guy in the cubby,
18:22
and I don't think they're ready to move him up to challenge whoever the
18:26
NXC champion is. So I will take Oba Fammi a little bit of an
18:29
homage maybe to Roman Reignses wrestle Maybia matched where you know he stacked him and
18:34
pinned him. I think you might see Oba Fenny take out both guys and
18:37
stack them on top of each other get the pin. It's amazing to me
18:41
how much he has almost like been a prodigy in a way, a professional
18:45
wrestled Noma Femmi. I think his move set is still a little bit on
18:52
the green side where it may be, you know, a little bit.
18:56
I don't know about the protection ends of things when it comes to other performers
19:00
in the side of the ring, but he is a phenomenal character in a
19:04
wrestler and I've really enjoyed his work thus far. I have him retaining the
19:07
NXT North American Championship as well, so we both have Opa Femily walking out
19:11
as NXT North American Champion. Next match here is for the NXT Women's Championship
19:17
as Lyra Valkyria takes on Roxanne Perez. I have enjoyed this one. The
19:22
Roxanne Perez slow character development is my way of building a character from a baby
19:26
face to a heel. Allah say Drew McIntyre and how well he has been.
19:30
This new edgier, meaner side of Roxanne Perez has been really good and
19:33
a very welcomed edition to NXC television. And I think she leaves with the
19:37
NXT Women's Championship again on Saturday, Doctor Trey. I almost feel like this
19:44
would have been Coora Jade's spot if she hadn't gotten hurt, because I feel
19:48
like the ro sand character is almost. I don't say carbon copy what they
19:52
do with Kora j, but it's very similar. I don't know if they
19:56
would have moved Roxanne this way if Cora hadn't gotten hurt, but I like
20:00
it. It's weird because she's so small that you go, there's no way
20:06
she can be this little badass. You know she's sneaky, but she's kind
20:08
of a badass too. But I'm with you. I think this is the
20:12
right time to put the belt back on her. We've seen this with multiple
20:17
people in NXT, where you get a run of the baby face, they
20:19
move you to heel, and then you get a run into the heel,
20:22
So I think this is the kind of same formula using for Roxane here.
20:25
So I see her winning this title as well. Next match is Elia Dragonoff
20:30
defending the NXC Championship against Tony DiAngelo. A couple of weeks ago, I
20:33
was not on board with Tony D'Angelo being this match with a little bit more
20:37
edge and development in his character. As of late, I am fully in.
20:41
This has been a very good build for this match, and it's playing
20:44
like second fiddle to a match that doesn't have a title involved. That's main
20:47
eventing it. This is a tough one to call, Doctor Trey. Is
20:51
it time for Elia to drop the title to the Dawn of NXT Tony D'Angelo.
20:56
Yeah, this one got harder after I read an interview was sewn Michaels
21:00
this week where he like they asked him, like, who's one of the
21:03
guys that you think is the breakout guy? The guy he The first person
21:06
he said was Tony DiAngelo and how he kind of got it was kind of
21:08
a for lack of going to hurt a crappy gimmick. He just embraced it
21:12
has ran with it because that made it harder to pick. But I still
21:18
see Ilia pulling this one out, you know, like once again, he's
21:22
still the baby face, even though Tony deeds to like a liked character,
21:26
but he's not a full fledged baby face. So I'm taking Elia to get
21:29
the win. I just think it makes sense that can keep the belt on
21:32
him because he hasn't had it as long as a run as I think you
21:34
want. So I'll take Elli dragon Off retaining. Yeah, I like you
21:38
have Ilia dragon Off retained the NXC Championship as well. I feel like he
21:41
has taken the brunt of this feud so far and has been kind of thrown
21:47
around in a way that we haven't seen him on NXC television, where you
21:52
know, he's kind of being bitched out by Tony Dan the rest of the
21:55
family so far, and it's weird to see him that way, and they're
21:57
you know, playing mind games with him and intimidating him, and for whatever
22:00
reason, he's following along, and I think that's kind of a strange way
22:04
to be booking. But it's also helped elevate Tony DiAngelo as someone who is
22:10
on the level of Elia dragon Off, which it was about three or four
22:11
weeks ago was not the case in my eyes. So I'm looking forward to
22:15
this one, and I again I like Doctor Tray. I have Elia Dragonoff
22:18
retaining the NXT Championship at Stand and Deliver, and that takes us to the
22:22
main event match Doctor Tray. This was announced earlier this week as the main
22:25
event is the first time during WrestleMania Weekend that two African American males will be
22:30
headlining a event during WrestleMania Weekend, which was pointing out on Tuesday's NXC television.
22:36
It's a very historic moment for both Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. It's
22:40
Trick Williams versus Carmelo Hayes. And this is a tough one to call,
22:45
which is NXT in general. NXT pay per views are very difficult to pick.
22:49
And I was thinking and like, I could see Carmelo winning, I
22:53
could see Trick winning. I ultimately see Trick Williams leaving Stand and Deliver as
23:00
the winner. There's a lot of a background of this being one of his
23:03
hometowns in front of his family, and I think they want to end Stand
23:07
and Deliver on a good note. It is Russell Manny Weekend, So I
23:11
have Trick Williams getting his revenge against Carmelo Hayes and defeating him this Saturday.
23:17
Yeah, you're right. This one's been back and forth in my head because,
23:21
you know, a lot of times the old school booking, we'd always
23:23
go with the hot hand, whoever the hot baby face was closed out the
23:26
show on a high note. But the last couple of years we've seen it
23:30
go the other way, whether it was Cody and Roman last year or some
23:33
other things like that. It's got me going kind of back and forth with
23:38
it. I think to me. The safe pick is going with Trick Williams,
23:44
but I think I'll be contrayed. We got to disagree on something on
23:47
this show, so I'm going to take Carmelo getting the wind pissing people off
23:51
and making them tune into the following NXT show to see what the fallout is.
23:56
So I'll take Carmelo with kind of the surprise picker, because I think
24:00
everybody's picking Trick. So there you go. That is NXC. Sandys Liver
24:03
will of course recap it next week when we recap everything from WRESTMANI a weekend
24:08
and then it takes us to that evening Doctor Trey WRESTLMANI forty nine one pre
24:12
for predictions. It's this Saturday from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
24:17
We have one, two, three, four, five, six seven matches
24:21
on night one, officially announced by Triple H on social media. I believe
24:25
on Monday, Monday afternoon, Monday night going into Raw. The first match
24:30
I have here, which you kind of semi predicted you would put in the
24:33
direction of Bianca Belair and Naomi Taken on Kabookie Warriors. I thought we were
24:37
going to get Shade Jade card Gill taken on Bianca bell Air. I think
24:41
we eventually get there, but this is now the beginning of that which I
24:44
love. I think old school Vincikman booking would have been give him Jade and
24:48
Bianca. Now I think with Triple H's booking, you give them Jade and
24:52
Bianca working together now and maybe it pays off a year from now, maybe
24:56
they save it for SummerSlam. Nonetheless, your choice, Doctor Trey, Jade,
25:00
car Gill, Bianca, Balaia and Naomi take on Damage Control and see
25:04
this is also the way of protecting your tag team champions if you go that
25:08
route as well, because even if they lose, they don't lose the belts
25:11
because it's a six person tag match. So with that, I'm taking Naomi,
25:15
Bianca and Jade because that way Jay can get a win at WrestleMania and
25:22
Damage Control does losing tag belts. So I think that's the smart pick.
25:25
So I'll go. I'll go Naomi, Bianca and Jade getting the win.
25:29
Yeah, I think it would be a travesty in Jade card Gill's like debut
25:33
non Royal Rumble match for w you know her actual like in an announced match
25:38
for her to take the loss. I don't think they're putting Jade on the
25:42
RUSSELLMANI car to take the l so I'm gonna take Jade, Bianca and Naomi.
25:45
And Bianca continues her very quiet winning streak at wressele Mania. I think
25:51
she would be five to zero after this presumed victory. On Saturday. Next
25:56
match, here is Ray Massirio and Dragonly taking on Santos Escobar on Dominic Mysterio.
26:03
I would have preferred to see Raymisterio taken on Santos Esco alread give him
26:06
this opportunity, but I also realized that would probably leave Dominic Mysterio off the
26:10
card, who deserves to be there as well. This is maybe my one
26:15
creative bugaboo is like, we've seen the Dominic Raymisterio stuff at nauseum and we're
26:19
seeing it again. It doesn't make sense. Uh. Dragon League getting in
26:22
the spot was pretty interesting, especially when you have Carlito in the ring and
26:26
on last Friday SmackDown fans were chanting for Carlito. So I guess maybe Carlito
26:32
eventually turns on Raymisterio two, who just loves to get continued to be screwed.
26:34
Over by people he aligns with. Nonetheless, I'm gonna take Ray,
26:38
Masterio and Dragon Led to win this one doctor try. I'm trying to think
26:41
of who hasn't turned on Ray at some point in all these tag TEXACM Remember
26:47
Batista turned on him at work, like Eddie Guerrero. Eddie's turned like Chavo
26:52
turned on everybody's turned on him. He's He's like the big show with turns
26:56
when it comes to people against him. Maybe Ray isn't aole. Maybe he
27:00
is just a cheap skate and doesn't want to pay for meals when they go
27:03
out together, like you know, like but poor guy, Like he's been
27:07
wrestling for thirty some odd years, he's made a good bank. He keeps
27:10
taking these young people on his wing and makes those guys pay for his meals.
27:12
You know, it's crazy. I am kind of surprised at the way
27:18
this came together. But then you look at also, you look at the
27:19
whole this weird Dominic, Santos Andrade potential alliance, Like it's it's a weird
27:26
thing to me, so but I'm here for I like it. So I'm
27:32
going to take Dominic getting Dominic and Santos getting the win because Ray beat Dominic
27:37
last year Wrestlebania, so this way, dominicets to beat his dad at WrestleMania.
27:40
So I'll take those two guys getting the win, all right, So
27:42
you have Santos and Dominic in victory here. Yeah. Wow, that's a
27:45
little bit of a surprise. Next match, keeping with family, Doctor Trey,
27:51
it's Jimmy Usso versus Jay Usso. It's the third brother versus brother match
27:56
in the history of WrestleMania. Every fifteen years since WRESTLEMANI ten, we have
28:00
had a brother versus brother match, So the streak continues, Doctor Trey,
28:03
Who do you like in this one? Oh? If only Solo was the
28:07
guest referee for this one, you know, then you could have had a
28:10
hall for the brothers right there together. This is hard because they're twins.
28:12
It's hard to figure out which twin you want to pick the win. Because
28:17
I can see it going either way. I think you just take the hot
28:19
hand. I think you go with Jay getting to win, just over Jimmie
28:22
because I think he's supposed to be the breakout star of the tag team team.
28:26
So I'll Jimmy's the good sidekick. Jay could be a star, So
28:30
I'll take Jay getting to win. Yeah, I'm gonna take Jay Uso as
28:33
well given his character, And I think the storyline is Jimmy losing to j
28:37
at WrestleMania. Post Russemania, maybe we see a reunion of the Usos pretty
28:41
soon next match. I am really looking forward to this one, and Doctor
28:47
Tray semi may have predicted how this can turn out that and just more on
28:51
that. In just a second, You've got Damien Priest and Finn Ballard defending
28:55
the undisputed w Tag Team Championship in a six pack ladder match against the Awesome
29:00
Truth, the New Day, New Catch Republic, and a Town down Under.
29:07
Now, it has been stressed on Monday's Raw by Michael Cole, the
29:11
match will end when both titles have been retrieved. So if one team grabs
29:15
the SmackDown Tag Team Championships, the match isn't over. If someone grabs the
29:21
Raw Tag Team Championships, that's when the match is over. So Doctor Tray
29:26
very very very well predicted that he saw that this title would be split at
29:33
WrestleMania, and it certainly appears Doctor Tray by the looks and sounds of it,
29:37
that that may be the direction. With that said, I'm going to
29:42
take the Awesome Truth winning the Raw Tag Team titles and a town down Under
29:48
winning the SmackDown Tag Team titles. This could all be for not and we
29:52
just walk away with Damian Priest and Finn mall Or winning both championships. But
29:56
very interesting what you had predicted may actually come to fruition here on Saturday after
30:02
Saturday evening. See every now and then, my my fantasy booking pays off.
30:07
Like every now that I hit, I think I see something and I'm
30:11
like, oh, this this very male. This very well may turn out
30:15
the way I think it goes because it makes sense. There's there's so many
30:18
tag teams now in WWE. I mean, hell, we had a tournament
30:21
for teams to get into this match. It makes sense to now split the
30:25
belts because you have depth on both sides of the tag rosters. So I'm
30:30
with you. I'm taking miss in Truth to win the Raw Belts, the
30:34
Raw Tag Team titles, the SmackDown when I'm interested because I there there's reports
30:38
on there that they were looking to maybe replace Waller in theory at some point
30:41
in this match. So but I'm gonna take a Town down Under as well,
30:45
because I think there's more money in those guys' long term once they split
30:51
apart if that's the route they go. So I'm agreeing with your picks on
30:56
this one as well. Next match here is the every year we call this
31:00
would be my wrestling fans match, Doctor Trey. There's always one on the
31:03
card. Gun Through defends the inn account a little championship against Sammy Zay.
31:08
Who do you like in this one? I think the only match I would
31:12
want to see on paper more than this and this is people think I'm crazy
31:15
for maybe Gunther and Dolph Zigler because Dolph maybe the best seller we've seen it
31:21
in wrestling in the last twenty years, and Sammy's close, you know,
31:26
so like I'm looking forward because I think we're gonna get that. You know,
31:29
Sammy just gets the crap beat out of him and it just looks like
31:33
all is lost. And this one's hard for the actual winners, hard for
31:38
me to pick. So I think I'm gonna take Gunther retaining just because Sammy
31:44
won the tag belts last year. You can't keep giving Sammy belts at WrestleMania.
31:48
Otherwise people think they're playing favorites, so I'll take Gunther retaining in this
31:52
one. Yeah, I'm gonna take gun Through retaining as well. I did
31:56
go back and forth in this one thought it could be Sammy's ay, but
31:59
I think this story is him taking the l and continue working towards being the
32:04
one to dethrone Gunther on the second go around and to win the Intercuntald Championship.
32:08
I do see Gunther dropping the title this year, and I think he
32:12
drops it clean and then goes for the World Championship at some point. But
32:15
I just I can't see Sammy winning it at wrestling. I hope I'm wrong,
32:20
but I have Gunther retaining the Intercontinental Championship on Saturday as well. Next
32:24
match is Rea Ripley defending the WA Women's World Championship against Becky Lynch. This
32:30
is has gone. There's been a nice upward trend on this feud in this
32:36
build as of late, and it's been better than it was three weeks ago,
32:39
thankfully. And this is a dream match. This is the it girl
32:45
from five years ago wrest May thirty five and Becky Lynch in the mainstay the
32:50
barometer in the women's division taking on the it girl and maybe the it wrestler
32:54
in all the professional wrestling right now. In my opinion, Rhea Ripley and
32:59
I wrestle Mania match. This is an exciting one. We've only seen it
33:01
played out once on NXC television back in December twenty nineteen. This is the
33:07
grandiose stage that is WrestleMania, and I think these two women are going to
33:09
bring in. This is another match I'm really looking forward to. This is
33:14
like another wrestling fans dream match. I'm going to take Ria Ripley to retain
33:19
the WA Women's World Championship, Doctor Trey. This one is another one I've
33:22
gone back and forth on because you know, once again, baby faces usually
33:28
come out on top of WrestleMania. But Ria's had the best year of maybe
33:31
any woman's wrestler in the last thirty years. I mean, I don't know
33:37
who can stack up a one year period like Ria can't. Becky Becky,
33:44
Yeah, but you even in that Becky run as the man. I don't
33:46
think it was the entire year Bianca was closed. I mean, but really
33:51
good point, very good point. Aria's gone to send it to another level.
33:54
I mean that match last year against Charlotte was amazing. And she's gone
33:59
the entire year and basically just wiped everybody. So I think I'm going to
34:04
take Ria just almost as a reward for how far she's how far if the
34:07
latter she's come in the last year, because I still think she's the hot
34:10
hand in the women's division. So I'll take Ria getting to win over Becky
34:15
at WrestleMania. And then finally the main event of Night one for WrestleMania for
34:19
do you have Roman Reigns and the Rock taken on Cody Rhodes and Seth Freaking
34:22
Ronalds and the Tay Team match. If Rhodes and Rollins win, then all
34:27
members the Bloodline will be barred from ringside during Roads's match with Roman Reigns on
34:30
Night two. If Rains and Rock win, then the championship match on Night
34:36
two will be held under Bloodline rules. Doctor Trey, who do you like
34:39
in this one? Does that include Paul Hayman? Yeah, I would say
34:44
so, Yeah, Okay, I'll be curious to see if Paul's actually banned
34:46
from ringside. I believe, I believe they've addressed that in their promos.
34:51
Yeah, I think you would be. Okay, that being said, it's
34:54
the old booker is you know, whoever gets who takes the whipping on,
34:59
you know, on one show leading into WrestleMania, the other team gets the
35:01
advantage of at the big show. I'm gonna lean on that. I'm gonna
35:05
take Steth and Cody getting the win over Rock and Roman on Night one.
35:08
Wow, that's interesting. I've definitely gone back and forth on this one.
35:14
I'm gonna pick Roman reigns in the Rock. And the reason why I'm doing
35:19
that is, I think if I look back to the foreshadowing of the Rock
35:22
beating the crap out of Cody Rhodes outside and them having the trailer and everybody's
35:28
pointing towards John Cena and Steve Austin making an appearance somehow during this Cody road
35:32
stuff at WrestleMania, I think that only happens under a bloodline rules match,
35:38
where you know, all interference is out the window at that point. Anybody
35:43
can interfere. It's not just the bloodline is the only one. It's it's
35:46
no disqualification basically, and I think that they don't want that. The only
35:50
quote bloodline rules match just has taken place on Raw this past Monday. So
35:54
I'm gonna take Roman rains in the Rock to win this match, and it's
36:00
it's gonna be a bloodline rules match for me. On night too, it's
36:02
gonna be bloodline being barred for the Ring and Night two for Doctor Tree.
36:07
When it comes to coding Rhodes and Roman Rats, you got me. I
36:12
think I almost wish my pick whoa the first time in twelve years, You've
36:17
got me to switch my pick on air. Now I've done it WHOA.
36:22
But I like that because I forgot about the Sena Austin stuff. And if
36:28
it's bloodline, I mean, it's the partest part about this for Jeff is
36:31
you got three guys who are wrestling in two nights, which means one of
36:36
those people could potentially lose both their matches at WrestleMania. That's that's the hard
36:40
part for me to fathom. So I will agree with you. I will
36:45
take the Rock and Roman Reigns getting to win at wrestled on Night one because
36:49
I forgot about the Sena Austin stuff. I do like that concept because there
36:52
might be a little bit of a triple ation sting when alson you got d
36:55
X and the nWo involved all at one time. And even though the match
36:59
was it was bad, the nostalgia part made people happy. So I will
37:04
if you have best the methodology, I will take the Rock and Roman Rains
37:07
winning on Night one. So official, you are changing your pick to Rowan
37:10
Rains in the Rock. Yes, that was official. Wow, there you
37:14
go, folks. I just sold doctor Tran changing his pitch. Now.
37:16
If that now I'm wrong, we're gonna hear about it on next week's shows.
37:20
I shouldn't have listened to Jeff. I should have stuck with my guns
37:23
and all of a sudden, John CNN Steve Asso come out in Night one.
37:27
Yeah, I did that earlier this year. You got me, you
37:29
got me convinced off air. I think it was the rumble. I changed
37:31
my pick because of you, and I was like, damn it, I
37:36
should have kept my pick. So I had the Rock for that one.
37:38
You thought the Rock was gonna win. No, I think it was the
37:40
women's side. I think I switched my pick on the women's winner. I
37:45
can't remember which was, but it was somebody else, Like there was something
37:47
else, I would he because it was the show. Before he predict the
37:51
show, you made a lot of valid points. I was like Damn,
37:52
that's that makes sense. Let's do that. So okay, that's ay.
37:57
If I could sell you, I could sell you. Restum in forty nine
38:00
to two pre eving predictions this Sunday from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
38:05
Once again, Doctor Tray successfully, you know, predicted that this match
38:08
would be on the card, and I'm happy. I'm very happy for all
38:10
six guys to be on the card. It's the Final Testament taking on the
38:15
Pride in a Philadelphia street fight. They have not referred to the Pride on
38:20
WE television as the Pride, but Triple H tweeted it out as the Pride,
38:23
So I'm going to go with them being that name. And at tip
38:28
to Doctor Tray for correctly predicting this being on the wrest many card. I'm
38:30
gonna take the Pride to get the victory in the Philadelphia street fight. Yeah
38:34
see, I've gone back and forth because it's a street fight means anything goes
38:37
and that's how you usually have the Heels win a match like this. I
38:40
don't know if Bobby Lashley and the Profits need this win as bad as Cross
38:45
and AOP need. I think I'm gonna take the final testament getting the win
38:50
here just because I think they need to win more than lash Lee in the
38:52
profits. Next match is what I would call another wrestling fans favorite match here
38:59
is La Night takes on AJ Styles. This has been a very subtly under
39:02
the radar good feud and build towards the wrestleminting fort you. It's been going
39:07
on since basically AJ Styles return to w earlier this year. It's a tough
39:13
one to call. AJ Styles has taken a lot of L's lately, and
39:16
I think it would make sense to give the victory to l A Knight,
39:20
being that he's like the uber popular star. I'm gonna go with AJ Styles.
39:23
He needs a victory here, Doctor Trey. I hate to see AJ
39:25
styles shoulders always on the mat for some reason, So I'm gonna take AJ.
39:30
Yeah. I've gone back and forth because I think both guys need to
39:32
win. La Knight three months ago is the hottest act in WWE, and
39:38
then you know he had the match with him and Sena tagging up, but
39:43
then he lost to Roman Reigns and he's kind of fallen back a little bit.
39:46
But then you're right, AJ is not tors like a great performer,
39:51
but he takes a lot of l's because he could make airbells look good.
39:52
So, but if you're picking Cody to win at the end of the night,
39:58
he needs a challenger coming out of wrestle Media, and I think it
40:00
makes sense for AJB that guy. So I'm gonna take aj getting the win
40:05
over La Styles as well. La Styles, La Styles, Sorry, La
40:08
Knights. That was a I believe that was a shoe brand back in the
40:12
nineties. La Styles. That was a late night Cinemax show back in the
40:15
nineties. But I know, hey, now that's a different podcast, different
40:17
podcasts. Uh. This this next match here is for the United States Championship
40:22
is Logan Paul defense against Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Doctor Trey. Who
40:25
do you like in this one? You know, if it was a singles
40:29
match, I'd probably pick anybody but Logan Paul. But with being a triple
40:32
threat, I could see Logan sneaking away the victory. So I think I'm
40:36
gonna take Logan Paul retaining the US title here because I think the trepidacious Kevin
40:44
Owens Randy Orton alliance, you know, leads them to kind of messing up
40:47
in here and Paul can steal a win, so I'll take Logan Paul retaining.
40:52
I'm gonna take Logan Paul as well to retain. Triple threat matches are
40:57
notoriously no disqualification. You always forget about it until the match actually takes place.
41:01
I think this is where Jake Paul makes his WE debut and helps his
41:05
brother defeat Randy Orton Kevin Owens in this match, so I'm going to take
41:09
Logan Paul to retain. Jake Paul should be getting ready for Mike Tyson fifty
41:15
eight year old Mike Tyson or however old he is. He gets okay my
41:17
ass in a boxing match, But I'm going to take Logan Paul to retain
41:22
the w United States Championship. So either Jake Paul interference and help to get
41:27
the victory, or something crazy like Randy Orton gives an RKO to Ko or
41:31
I don't think KO gives a stunner to Randy Orton to get on there,
41:35
but RKO to Kevin Owens. Somebody knocks out Randy Orton pulls him out of
41:38
the ring, and Logan Paul does the slimy heel thing and gets the pin.
41:42
So if this is what I want, I agree with you. I
41:44
think Logan Paul loses the title. Quick question, Does that mean we get
41:46
Mike Tyson and Kevin Owens against the Paul brothers at WrestleMania Backlash? Maybe?
41:52
Maybe I don't think they're calling it WrestleMania Backlash anymore. But and I don't
41:55
know if if Mike Tyson can do international travel with his like background in France,
42:00
I don't think he could go there, but yeah, maybe maybe he's
42:04
there by AI. When is a Tyson Paul fight? Like, I think
42:07
it's in the summer or something. Do we get Mike Tyson in WWE if
42:10
Jake Paul shows up to help Logan? Did we get Mike Tyson in WWE
42:15
before their fight? Maybe? I think there's a likely chance he's in w
42:20
now, then he would be in AW if he wants to talk about that
42:22
fight, given the Paul's relationship. Next match is EO Sky defending the w
42:29
Women's Championship against Bailey. This match, man, I don't know. This
42:34
feud has been kind of okay, It's at its peaks and valleys. I
42:37
wish they did a better job of making Bailey look like a sympathetic Babyface heading
42:42
into this one because she was such a damn good heel the last four years.
42:45
Very much hate heable and slimy, and the fans love to hate her
42:50
in a good kind of way. And I think doing the Babyface run here
42:54
hasn't been all that great, unless maybe the Hugger returns on Sunday night.
43:00
A lot of stuff with Paramore. She wanted Paramore to play her down to
43:05
the ring. They gave the ok to do that. I don't know if
43:07
that's the case and if WWE's come to agree with Paramore to play around on
43:12
Sunday, but that would be cool. I think Bailey needs some good babyface
43:15
love in this one, and maybe the Hugger Bailey does it. I'm going
43:17
to take Bailey to win the w W Women's Championship, but Russell Mania out
43:21
to try. Yeah. I was thinking about earlier. I was like,
43:22
I don't know if I could have Becky and Bailey lose. I don't think
43:28
I have both of them lose. And I was like, man, what
43:31
if we get Paramore during a cover of the old school Bailey theme song and
43:37
the wacky waving and flavor. I still say I don't know, if you
43:38
remember this, I said this, like when she won the Rumble that you
43:42
get the wacky waving and flavel two men up with like duct tape on them
43:45
around their wounds, signifying the return for which he basically chopped them down years
43:51
ago. But I'm taking Bailey as well. I just think it's as as
43:55
good as EO's been. I still think having Bailey be the champ is just
44:00
short term kind of finishes her story, so to speak. So there you
44:05
go, both of us taken Bailey to win the Wins Championship for WrestleMania,
44:09
and now that takes us to the ww World Heavyweight Championship match Doctor Treya Seth
44:14
Freaking Rollins Defense against Drew McIntyre. Who do you like in this one?
44:21
So I've gone back and forth on this one as well, because you know,
44:22
like I said earlier, I don't know if I want to pick somebody
44:27
to lose both nights at WrestleMania between the three main event guys who are working
44:31
double duty. But as I change my pick on one, I think I'm
44:36
gonna stick to my original thought on this match, which is Drew McIntyre wins
44:42
and then we get a Damien Prese cash in on Drew McIntyre. So I'm
44:45
gonna say Drew getting the win and then Damien cashing in on them. So
44:50
we are on the same page here. And it was basically confirmed to me
44:54
that there's going to be some sort of title change on Sunday by News that
44:59
they announced on Monday. Clash at the Castle is going to take place in
45:06
Glasgow, Scotland. The Scottish Warrior is going to go home in June.
45:10
And I don't think he's going to enter that show as a champion. I
45:15
don't think he enters that show as a heel, and I think he starts
45:21
working towards a little bit of that tweener babyface, and I think he wins
45:28
the championship at that show. We are due for a cash in from Damien
45:31
Priests. It's only a year, right, and he won it back in
45:36
July. I really wanted to do what you said and pic Drew McIntyre to
45:42
win in the Damien cash in. I think Damian interferes in this match Allah
45:46
WRESTLEMANI thirty one, makes it a triple threat and wins the championship that way.
45:52
I don't think Drew ever gets the title at all, and they don't
45:57
do like a really shady, you know, transitional championship there. So I'm
46:01
just gonna go Damian Priest to cash in and win this one. Enter it
46:06
Wrestleman thirty one style. The Heights of the Century happens to Seth freaking Rollins
46:10
nine years later. But it's funny that we're on the both the same wavelength,
46:15
heor Doctor Trey, that we both believe Damian Priest leaves WRESTLEMANI as world
46:17
champion. Yeah. My thought was you kind of get Drew his WrestleMania Championship
46:24
win in front of a crowd and then snatched away by Damien Priest, and
46:30
that's that's that was kind of my logic. The triple threat idea makes sense
46:32
too, to have somebody do the Heights in the Century to Seth. But
46:37
I kind of, you know, both both ideas make it sense. I
46:38
still think at the end of the day, Bolomens still have Damian Priest walking
46:42
at WrestleMania as the world champion. Yes, there you go, both of
46:45
us have Damian Priest, who's not in the match, leaving WrestleMania as the
46:49
world They've away champion. Which then leads to the whole relationship with the Judgment
46:52
Day and Damian Priest excuse me a Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre post WrestleMania.
46:58
I think maybe Seth and Becky going to take a little bit of time off
47:00
post WrestleMania and go lick their wounds and come back maybe in a month or
47:06
so. But we both have Damian pre sleeving WrestleMania as the world have Away
47:10
Champion. And then that takes us to the match, the main event match
47:15
of WrestleMania forty weekend, Night two, the entire weekend, the match everybody
47:21
is looking forward to, Doctor Trey. You and I both have it now
47:22
in a bloodline rules match because we both are picking Roman Reigns on the Rock
47:27
to win. On Night one, Roman Reigns defends the undisputed w W Universal
47:31
Championship against Cody Rhodes for the second time at WrestleMania. This is last year's
47:37
WrestleMania main event, taking place a year later. I have gone back and
47:43
forth. There have been times where I thought Cody Rhoads was going to win,
47:45
no doubt about it. There have been times as of this week that
47:50
I thought Roman Reigns was going to win, and I was like, Okay,
47:52
maybe somebody interferes in this, like Solosokoa did it Clash the Castle where
47:58
maybe Talmatunga debuts and costs Cody Roads the match. The foreshadow he's been put
48:04
in there that Sena and Steve Austin are going to be involved somehow, I
48:07
would imagine seeing it comes out to take out Solo Soakoa, Steve Austin comes
48:12
out to take out The Rock, and that place is going to lose their
48:15
fucking minds when The Rock and Steve Austin are battling out at WrestleMania forty on
48:21
Sunday night. I mean, that is just a moment ready to take over
48:24
social media and the world and make all the nostalgia in the fields that are
48:29
just giving me goosebumps as I talk about that. Leaving it as a one
48:31
on one match, maybe Tomatunga interferes, who's reportedly signed with w W and
48:36
takes out Cody that way. At the end of the day, I don't
48:40
see a way that WWE can end another WrestleMania Doctor Trey with Cody Rhoades not
48:47
finishing his story and not being crowned the w Universal Champion. I said it
48:52
on last week's show, WrestleMania one right, all the big ones with zero's
48:59
at the end. I've had big moments. Restum Any one was the birth.
49:01
Rest Many ten was Brett celebrating. Resumany twenty was Eddiean's Chris Benwass celebrating.
49:06
Wrest Many thirty was Daniel Bryan celebrating in the super Dome. You're not
49:10
going to end one of the wrestlemanis that end in zero? With Roman Reigns
49:15
holding both holding the championship up in the air and again and fans losing their
49:20
shit like, how the hell do they do this to us two years in
49:22
a row? You know, boycott WWEE. Social media is a blaze.
49:27
People are not going to watch wrestling ever again. I can't wait to see
49:30
how they react it ras after WrestleMania, we could all pump the brakes because
49:34
I think the show closes, WRESTLEMANI forty closes and Cody Rhodes is given the
49:38
torch to be the next guy. I've got Cody Rhodes leaving WRESTMANI forty Doctor
49:43
Trey as the undisputed w Universal champion. I'm just let me ask you at
49:47
the end of the show when they when Cody's announced the where do you see
49:51
Sena in Austin both holding holding Cody's hands out for a moment as like the
49:55
lineage torch passing between the generations. That would be a nice moment. But
50:00
I think both those guys don't want to take away his moment. I'm serious.
50:05
I thought I think they would be, like, I get it,
50:07
but I don't think I would want to do that. I I understand your
50:08
perspective as well. The only thing that would help that even more is if
50:13
somehow Hogan got involved. If you go from Hogan to Austin to seen It
50:16
or to Cody, you know, I mean, Hogan's got nothing going on
50:21
this weekend. So no, I love that book. I can't argue with
50:24
that. Like as as a law lifelong wrestling fan and going back two years
50:30
to how much you and I loved seeing Austin back in the ring fighting Kevin
50:35
Owens like it's our hero from the nineties, but you know, fighting the
50:39
SRTU hero for you know that time twelve years like that, the nostalgia just
50:45
made it great. And if you get that kind of match put together and
50:50
that's kind of gets involved. I can't argue with that. I'm taking Cody
50:54
to win. I love the Scena interaction with Solo Socoa, I love Austin
50:59
in the going at it. I love all that stuff. So even if
51:02
we're dead wrong, in my head, that's what's going to happen. So
51:07
I'm taking Cody to win the title as well. So they go. Both
51:10
of us are taking Cody Rhoads to become the new undisputed w Universal Champion.
51:15
And that is all of our preview and all of our predictions for Wrestlermini forty
51:20
weekend. We will recap and review everything on next week's edition of SRTU.
