  So what happened to you this week?

  So far after recording, you know, sometimes you know how we
• 1:27
  say it's OK to have jealousy for God, right and we read in
• 1:33
  Scripture you you can tell Paul and John all had that fervor
• 1:38
  for. Yeah.
• 1:39
  For God that that that that jealousy, however, though,
• 1:43
  right? I noticed that my test you
• 1:45
  forgot has been quite unchecked lately.
• 1:48
  I just like had it in a cage. Just kind of just realized that
• 1:53
  if it were to like really like open the bottom, it'd be, it'd
• 1:57
  be pretty bad. Oh, I got you.

  Yeah, that's pretty much it. And yeah, interest,

  interestingly another thing too. It's always a reminder, but for
• 2:10
  everybody to to hear that you just don't have you would think
• 2:16
  you have control of time, but it just it's just doesn't right, It

  doesn't it Like obviously as a business owner, you would think
• 2:27
  as much as I plan, you know, follow the itinerary for the day

  or the the job scheduling for the week.

  It's just, it just throws it. Off.

  Yeah, yeah, absolutely. And sometimes the clients, you

  know, they have a lot of, they'll ask a lot of question
• 2:43
  about the project, how's it going to start, try to add
• 2:47
  things up and it's just navigating around that.

  Right, right. Honestly, dude, I, I realized
• 2:53
  that there's just no control and so pretty much every time in the
• 2:58
  right now we're like divided into 3 jobs and when I go to a
• 3:02
  client, I speak to one of the main contractors, another two
• 3:05
  clients of ours or just just every time I get there's a guy
• 3:09
  just have mercy of me. Yeah yeah and, and, and I think
• 3:13
  I don't know if you have a chance to look at at this, at
• 3:16
  this versus Colossians 4-5 through 6 while you look for it.

  I'll explain a little bit of, of why I'm bringing that up The the
• 3:27
  verse pretty much talks about how like how to be wise and the
• 3:33
  right timing and accordingly, right.

  And so every time I get to certain places, I'll just be
• 3:41
  like, God have mercy, you know what I mean?

  Yeah. And interestingly, I was talking
• 3:48
  to one of my friends, you know, him, Steve, like he's in Korea
• 3:51
  and he, we're talking about how like the culture is, it's pretty
• 3:54
  cool and stuff. And how like, and their culture
• 3:57
  is all about honouring, you know, the hierarchy of the
• 3:59
  family, you know, like from, from grandfather to grandmother
• 4:03
  to like all the way down to the children, right?
• 4:06
  How like there's this level of, of, of honouring and stuff like
• 4:11
  that. And so he was telling me like
• 4:14
  how, how he tried his best, like trying to, you know, study the
• 4:17
  culture. So he wasn't even like close to
• 4:20
  it, but. Different from different from
• 4:23
  the Hispanic culture, right? Yeah.
• 4:24
  I mean in, in certain tiny little aspects.
• 4:26
  It's similar in the, in the aspect like if you grew up in a
• 4:28
  Hispanic family where it's really conservative, you might
• 4:32
  see that, you know, for example, like when when I see my
• 4:35
  grandfather in Spanish, we'll be like, you know, we'll put our
• 4:38
  two hands and kind of just like bow down and be like Bendiuello,
• 4:43
  right, right, right. That's something I grew up doing
• 4:46
  to my aunt over there and everybody who was older than me.

  Yeah, yeah. So.

  And so the what I'm trying to get at is when my jealousy for
• 4:55
  God is unchecked, what my what I meant.

  But what I mean by unchecked is like I've never let it come out

  and I have to, you know, keep a check on it.

  I just had in the Cajun right at any moment that can pop out
• 5:10
  first. It could, it could be any
• 5:12
  situation that has to do something with God.

  Yeah, yeah, you know, right. Just realizing like God letting
• 5:18
  me know, hey, listen, that thing's about to pop.

  So if you keep check on it, it's gonna be bad.

  The blow, The blowout. Yeah, yeah.

  Yeah, and it's probably something always towards God,
• 5:29
  like in the defense of him, right.

  But any who, that's something that was a reminder.

  So I don't know if you found it, you could you could read

  Colossians 4-5 through 6. OK, so Colossians.

  Colossians actually. Oh yeah, 4-5 right, 26, right.

  OK, so it says. Chapter 4-5 through 6.

  So it says this. Act wisely toward outsiders,

  making the most of the time. Let your speech always be

  gracious, seasoned with salt so that you may know how you should

  answer each person. Wow.

  And I believe it's James also that said too, right.

  Yeah. That the the the anger of man

  does not complete the righteousness of God.

  Yeah of of scripture there. And so that for me was something

  that I was like, alright, you know, right.

  The thing is that like our thoughts bro, they they jump.

  They come like the wind, like a tornado.

  It's it's a it's crazy. And if you pay attention just to

  one thought, forget it, right? It could be true, but don't

  dwell on it. Yeah, exactly.

  Agree it was just certain those certain things that that so talk

  also talking to Steve that was like a like a third reminder of
• 6:55
  of so far of this week of like a third reminder of that since we

  were talking about that and I was just like, wow, interesting

  and I and I told them, you know that we would just he's just
• 7:08
  talking crazy. It was like if I were to ever
• 7:10
  end up with a Korean jig, those would be the challenges because

  the culture is so different, right.

  It's all you know, like you got to honour like honour the

  hierarchy yeah it's in their religion or their Pagan religion
• 7:22
  is weaved into their culture too.

  So we were talking about that, but it was also a reminder of

  how like an opportunity like that, that for me when I go to
• 7:31
  job sites or I deal with a potential client or like that,
• 7:34
  it's literally, bro, genuinely an opportunity for to learn to
• 7:39
  be wiser. Oh, OK, OK, right.

  And and how to respond because sometimes, you know, sometimes
• 7:46
  they'll ask illogical questions. Sometimes there's just like.

  There's no way you're really asking this.

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right.

  So you develop patience and all that stuff, right?

  Like. And that's just like in the, you
• 7:58
  know, on a day-to-day basis, but then it comes to like your

  brother's sister in Christ and you start seeing how some
• 8:05
  churches act and stuff like that.

  You're, you're, you're, it's to the point where it has, it's
• 8:09
  gotten to the point where like, I have had it so unchecked.

  And I was like, all right, so like, check what's going on
• 8:14
  here. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  So for me thus far, that's that's something that.
• 8:19
  They've been meditating upon. Absolutely.

  Yeah, No, it's always good to sit down and meditate.

  I believe in, you know, scripture also tells us to, you
• 8:26
  know, discern, meditate. We forget to do that because
• 8:31
  since you know, well, we, we live in America.
• 8:33
  So like our, our mindset is always trying to project to the
• 8:39
  future, to the future, never on the present, very, very, you
• 8:42
  know, or the past, you know, we're never settled in the
• 8:44
  present, which the present is actually where we should all be
• 8:48
  consistently all time at everyday.
• 8:52
  Even I fall into that trap too sometimes.
• 8:54
  But thanks be to God, you know, that I've actually been getting
• 8:59
  way better at it compared to my early walks with CAD.

  But no, that's, that's, that's actually good advice that you're
• 9:09
  actually given right now because, you know, I've had
• 9:13
  moments of jealousy too, right, right.
• 9:15
  And I've been, I, I would hold it, hold it.
• 9:18
  And it was like a, like a, a backpack within me with rocks,
• 9:23
  you know, being like heavier and, you know, getting heavier
• 9:25
  and heavier. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  And you want to say something so bad?

  And then you know what sometimes it does when the person asks the
• 9:33
  question? You know, sometimes like your
• 9:36
  tone might sound a little too harsh.

  Yeah, like condescending. Yeah, you're making them feel
• 9:41
  dumb. Exactly, exactly.

  Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I've had those moments too,
• 9:45
  man. And you know what, like when you
• 9:47
  read about the apostles, the way they were with the community,
• 9:51
  you know, within the body of Christ, they, they were not
• 9:55
  walking on egg shells. Whatever Paul had to say, he
• 9:58
  said it. He's like, oh, you guys are
• 9:59
  being hypocrites. Oh yeah, When he called up
• 10:01
  Barnabas and Peter, yeah, he was.
• 10:04
  It was clear. Yeah, it was clear he wasn't
• 10:05
  holding back. Oh, he wasn't.

  He was. And he had jealousy for God, you
• 10:09
  know, and Christ too. You know, Christ, you know, he
• 10:13
  would say things you say, oh, you guys are only here 'cause I
• 10:15
  feed you. Or he would go flip the he
• 10:18
  flipped the table at the at the temple.
• 10:20
  You know, You know, all these great men of God, you know the
• 10:23
  Messiah, Moses too also, he never held back.

  You know, he, he always said what he had to say for his
• 10:30
  jealousy for God. But what I'm trying to say is
• 10:33
  that like they're actually a perfect example of not keeping
• 10:38
  that jealousy for God in a cage. Rather they, you know, they
• 10:43
  would just say. Yeah, do it.

  Yeah. You're right.
• 10:46
  And because of that, you know, they they also had, you know,
• 10:49
  fruits of the spirit of self-control, I believe.
• 10:53
  Yeah. James speaks about the
• 10:54
  controlling of the tongue. Exactly.

  And all these things, you know, so they, they had, they had, you
• 10:59
  know, they're jealous. You forgot.

  But they always let it loose with control.

  Yeah. Basically.

  So that's actually good to meditate.

  Upon Yeah, yeah. So yeah, just that's basically

  what's happened to me so far, yeah, up until this moment.

  But but what? What about you thus far to the
• 11:18
  week? Right for the, for the week for
• 11:20
  me, you know, some, something really interesting happened to
• 11:24
  me. It's either you believe it or
• 11:26
  not, you know, that doesn't matter 'cause I saw with my own
• 11:29
  eyes. But in my early, early walks
• 11:34
  with God, bro, I remember I was already awake and it wasn't even
• 11:40
  a dream. It was more like a vision kind
• 11:42
  of right, right. Because when the vision ended, I
• 11:45
  was already awake. I I remember I was like, I had
• 11:49
  like a black T-shirt and there was a guy in front of me and I
• 11:53
  shook his hand and I said, I said, oh, like, I can see that
• 11:58
  your elbows hurt, Right, Right. Right.

  And you're a mechanic, aren't you?
• 12:02
  Like when I shook his hand in the vision, I could see like
• 12:06
  everything that was going on with him.
• 12:08
  OK. Yeah.
• 12:09
  That he was a mechanic, that his elbows hurt, Right.
• 12:11
  Yeah, like tennis elbows. And and I was like, Amen, can't
• 12:15
  pray for you, so I gotta may heal your elbows, But I was
• 12:18
  already awake during that vision.
• 12:20
  So it was like a a vision that like I was healing someone,
• 12:24
  right, right, right. So like, you know, now, now that
• 12:27
  I'm like, you know, three years in strong with God, you know, my
• 12:32
  walk with God and I go outside because I see my little brother
• 12:36
  outside. This happened a day ago or two
• 12:41
  days ago, I think. And, and you know, I, I'm, I
• 12:46
  love, I love animals, by the way, like even insects too.
• 12:51
  I can't. I feel bad doing an insect.
• 12:53
  I've seen it. Yeah.
• 12:54
  I see a spider, I grab it and I put it outside.
• 12:57
  I see an Ant, I grab it and I put it outside.
• 12:59
  I I I never kill. I can't.

  I do I. Just can't.

  Every time I see a spider it has a die.

  I just. Yeah, I can't do that.

  I don't know why. I just can't.

  You know, that's when I should have refrained.

  Like hey listen, be wiser, I. Don't know So, so yeah, so I'm,

  I'm just chilling outside and, and my little brother, like
• 13:18
  there was like a Firefly and he kind of crushed it and it was
• 13:22
  still alive, but half of its body was crushed.
• 13:24
  And then he like grabs it, right?
• 13:26
  And then he like gives it to me and I look at it and it's just
• 13:30
  like, you know, like crushed from the bottom, you know, from
• 13:32
  the half of its body was crushed and, and, and I just look at it
• 13:36
  and then I see like, you know, like fireflies have these like
• 13:39
  big bold bulge eyes, you know, like, and I'm like, should I
• 13:44
  take it out of it's misery? It's like, Nah, I can't do that.
• 13:47
  I can't, I just can't. Like, I don't have the heart for
• 13:49
  it. And so, so as I was looking at
• 13:53
  it, dude, I, I could hear like within my heart or like within
• 13:57
  me, like, you know, Jesus, when he was telling Peter, oh, when
• 14:02
  Jesus cursed the fig tree, he cursed the fig trees like may no
• 14:06
  one ever eat of you again. And then, you know, they come
• 14:10
  back from I think that's when Jesus was flipping the tables, I
• 14:13
  think, I think. And and then Peter's like, oh,
• 14:17
  look, the, the fig tree that that you cursed, look, it's
• 14:21
  rotting away. And then Jesus like, yes, if you
• 14:24
  believe, if you believe, you can tell this mountain to move.
• 14:29
  It'll be tossed into the sea. So I look at it and all I'm
• 14:34
  thinking about is that. And so I start praying.
• 14:37
  I start praying upon it and I say, God, this is, this is one
• 14:40
  of your creatures. And I start praying right?
• 14:43
  And, but with full faith and, and, and I see, I kid you not,
• 14:48
  half of its body coming back to, to, to normal, like it's legs
• 14:53
  were all crushed up and now they're starting to move.
• 14:55
  And he starts like wiggling all around his whole body like is
• 14:59
  back to it's, it's literally becoming back into it's shape.
• 15:02
  That's in real time. In real time.
• 15:04
  I literally see the Firefly like coming back into it's shape in
• 15:08
  real time and then you know, I give it a little a little push
• 15:11
  to flip over and then it's wings are still kind of crushed.
• 15:16
  Can't really like fly you know. And I tell God I'm like God you
• 15:19
  are going to make this fire Firefly fly once again for it is
• 15:23
  your creation once again. And and it starts flapping it's
• 15:26
  wings and it does like 4 times like and it's wings start
• 15:30
  becoming all straight and everything.
• 15:33
  And I said, God, you are going to make it fly.
• 15:34
  And then it flew away. Wow.
• 15:37
  So that whole Firefly, when I first got it was half crushed.
• 15:41
  This whole body, you know, it was like, you know, when you
• 15:43
  crush an Ant, like it's all twisted up, right, right.
• 15:45
  And you know, there's no way it's going to survive.
• 15:47
  I was going to take it out of its misery, but I was like, Nah,
• 15:50
  pray with faith. And I let it go and it flew
• 15:53
  away. And I was like, I was like,
• 15:57
  there's no way. I just, I just saw that.
• 16:01
  And my little brother, like, he's like he, he literally sees
• 16:06
  the Firefly fly out of my hand and he's like, wait, what?
• 16:10
  He's like, dude, like I thought I thought that thing was, you
• 16:14
  know, he's like, I thought that thing was like crushed.
• 16:17
  And I was like, ah, but if you believe God can do anything and
• 16:21
  I walk away. No, and I believe you because
• 16:23
  our our friend, she had a hamster a while ago and I kid
• 16:30
  you not bro, it died. Really.
• 16:34
  I started with my own. I did that even like after the
• 16:37
  third, second, second day, I think it started to stink.
• 16:41
  You know that. Yeah, yeah, right.
• 16:43
  I told you just throw it away. Just just I would literally
• 16:45
  grabbed it and I wanted to no, she's like don't do it.
• 16:48
  I'm praying I'm fast, like God brings it back and I'm like,
• 16:51
  come on, it's an animal, yo, you know what I mean?

  Like, forget it, it's done. Right, right.

  And she just was adamant that no.
• 16:59
  And on the 3rd, 4th day, dude, that thing starts like
• 17:01
  breathing. No way.
• 17:04
  Dude I see this in real time. It starts breathing and moving
• 17:08
  bro. No way.

  Yeah, dude. I'm like, it's a hamster,
• 17:13
  though. Like, come on.
• 17:17
  But when I saw that, definitely, yeah, I have to be honest, my
• 17:22
  faith grew more right because I was like, I can't do anything.

  But to me it was like I'm it's an animal, but like God heard
• 17:31
  her prayer, right her her desire to see God's creation live more
• 17:38
  than her own desire to let it go right.
• 17:42
  I think that's what's what it was more to to it.
• 17:45
  Right, right. Absolutely.

  Right. And so that's the interesting,
• 17:50
  you know, Yeah, yeah. A developing gift at its
• 17:53
  infancy. Dude, yeah, man.

  Cause and then and then something else happened to me

  too while I was, I was 'cause my grandmother right now is in the
• 18:02
  hospital. She got into surgery, you know,
• 18:06
  like she, So I got there and my grandma, like, you know, she's
• 18:12
  in pain, you know, 'cause I mean, I've never gotten surgery,
• 18:15
  but I can imagine it's painful. You know, it's horrible.
• 18:17
  Yeah, that's what I heard. So like, you know, I get there
• 18:22
  and and, you know, she has a hard time laying down, you know,
• 18:26
  on the bed because of her pain. It took her so long to lay down
• 18:30
  and she has to walk with what's that thing that, you know, like
• 18:35
  patients use the. The crutch.
• 18:38
  Yeah, the crutch, but the one that's.
• 18:39
  Like it has wheels? It has wheels.
• 18:41
  Yeah, that one. So like, you know, she has to
• 18:43
  hold on to that and everything because she can barely walk.
• 18:46
  And yeah, so I'm just, I stayed with her overnight, you know, to
• 18:50
  like accompany her, you know, like to make sure she's OK.

  And like, I'm like our grandma, you know, I was like, I'm going
• 18:58
  to go to sleep, but let's pray. So I, you know, I grab her hand
• 19:01
  in and I start praying and I tell God I'm like, all right,
• 19:05
  God, you know, let us rest in peace.
• 19:08
  And I pray for some healing over her, you know, whatever it is
• 19:11
  according to his will, you know, And then, you know, we go to
• 19:16
  sleep and in the middle of the night, you know, she, she wakes
• 19:18
  me up 'cause she's like, hey, can you call the nurse and have
• 19:20
  to go use the bathroom? And, and I kid you not, bro, she
• 19:27
  all the sudden she doesn't need the, the crutches anymore.
• 19:31
  Yeah, yeah, yeah. All she does is hold on to the,
• 19:34
  to the, to the pole, you know, that has like the, the liquid
• 19:38
  and everything. And she gets up normally and she
• 19:42
  walks to the bathroom with the nurse and I'm just like,
• 19:46
  interesting. And then she get she comes back
• 19:49
  and then she wants to lay back into bed, but this time she lays
• 19:52
  back into bed normally. Oh, wow.
• 19:54
  Without any pain. Without like, you know,
• 19:57
  obviously a little bit of pain, but like, it was like she just
• 19:59
  did it like by her. Like normally.

  Yeah. When before it, like me and my
• 20:03
  aunt were trying to lay her down so many times and we couldn't
• 20:07
  interest. And I'm just like, like, wow.
• 20:10
  Yeah, it's, it's, it's, it seems like at its core of everything,
• 20:14
  whether if it's a spiritual gift or any of the type of ministries
• 20:20
  that that Paul talks about in Second Corinthians, I believe,
• 20:24
  or wisdom or if you want to keep something in check or any of all
• 20:29
  the things that we're talking about, right.
• 20:31
  It seems like the the the the common factor is.
• 20:34
  Faith, right? Faith.
• 20:36
  Faith. It starts with faith.
• 20:37
  Yeah. Right.
• 20:39
  Absolutely. It is the true measure of it
• 20:43
  all. Yeah, absolutely it.

  Does say in scripture without faith it is impossible to
• 20:47
  worship? God.

  I agree. At it's core, it starts with

  that. Yeah, Faith.

  And sometimes, like you were, we were talking earlier, you said

  that sometimes we doubt. Yeah, man.

  Yeah. Because it's funny.

  God has. God has been showing me so many
• 21:03
  interesting signs. You know, I was swimming in my
• 21:06
  pool and I brought a towel, but from inside, you know, and I
• 21:10
  laid down and then I'm done swimming, you know, 'cause I
• 21:16
  like, I like, you know, getting a little exercise in this in the
• 21:18
  swim pool, you know, and then I grabbed my towel and in, inside,
• 21:24
  in the center of my towel, there was a dead bee.
• 21:28
  But The thing is that when I, when I put the towel where it
• 21:31
  was, there was no dead bee, nothing.
• 21:32
  It was just, I just grabbed it, coiled it up and then laid it
• 21:36
  down. And then all the sudden there's
• 21:38
  a bee right in the center. And all I could think about was
• 21:42
  what happened with the Firefly. And when I see it, already my
• 21:47
  heart was doubting. So when I grabbed the bee, from
• 21:51
  the very start I said God, I was like.
• 21:55
  You tried to do. I tried to do it again.
• 21:57
  It it didn't work this time. Yeah.
• 21:59
  And God was, you know, and and you know what?
• 22:02
  I took that, that bee as like a learning lesson too, you know,
• 22:07
  'cause I was in the since since the start of grabbing it, I
• 22:10
  already doubted it shouldn't be that way.
• 22:13
  No, when you when you, when you grab something, grab it with
• 22:15
  confidence and faith. Yeah.
• 22:17
  Just like how I grabbed that Firefly.
• 22:19
  But that's the thing, it's you know, our walk with God is
• 22:22
  untangible. You can't see it, right?
• 22:24
  Can't grab it? Exactly right.
• 22:27
  It's it's. It's something untangible.
• 22:30
  Do not see. Yeah.
• 22:31
  And well, it's interesting because Job, you know, the book
• 22:36
  of Job, Yeah, yeah, he followed God by hearing.
• 22:38
  But then at the end he's like, my eyes can see right.
• 22:40
  But he didn't see God. Right, right.

  With the the spiritual eyes. Yeah.
• 22:46
  Those moments of lesson, like with your grandmother, with the
• 22:51
  Firefly, Yeah, he went to beat you.
• 22:53
  You see God. Right.
• 22:55
  He's. Teaching you, you see.
• 22:57
  God, exactly. The, the, the moments of, of, of
• 23:01
  think, all these things happening in real time,
• 23:03
  interaction, all that. And I'm like, what is going on
• 23:05
  here? Right, right.

  Like I'm seeing God. Physically I cannot see him.
