- 0:29Speaker 3: And Tony must agree.
- 0:30Speaker 2: We gotta agree.
- 0:31Speaker 3: And I don't know what his picks are.
- 0:33Speaker 1: He don't know what mine are, but it's the top
- 0:35Speaker 1: five Denzel movies in order.
- 0:38Speaker 3: All right.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Now, First, I feel like should we should we submit
- 0:42Speaker 1: once for the like for the pot of Movies. We
- 0:47Speaker 1: could do that, Okay, So I'll do my first submission that.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I feel like, there's no way you're gonna say no
- 0:51Speaker 1: to this. I already know where you're going, Malcolm, Malcolm
- 0:54Speaker 1: X of course only bested my Sister act too. It's
- 0:58Speaker 1: the only movie I think is better than Welcome Hex Sister.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I was gonna go the whole day without mentioning.
- 1:06Speaker 3: You know, Oh, come.
- 1:09Speaker 2: On, you open the door, Come on.
- 1:15Speaker 3: You open internet. You can start over. I say we
- 1:23Speaker 3: start over, You say we start Yeah?
- 1:27Speaker 2: So what can they hear us? Still?
- 1:29Speaker 3: They can hear us?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Can y'all hear us in the freeze? Let us know
- 1:44Speaker 2: if y'all can hear us in the freeze? I don't
- 1:48Speaker 2: think they can frozen two electric boogooroo?
- 1:56Speaker 3: Do you do?
- 1:58Speaker 2: They say that connection is fast?
- 2:00Speaker 3: What the hell going on?
- 2:02Speaker 2: What the hell going on? What the hell? We're back?
- 2:05Speaker 3: We're back, y'all can hear us and see us?
- 2:07Speaker 2: Right? The double leg?
- 2:10Speaker 3: Should we start over? What was the last thing? I
- 2:11Speaker 3: feel like we was on the phone. When was the
- 2:13Speaker 3: last thing I said?
- 2:14Speaker 1: The art?
- 2:16Speaker 3: Forget it? Forget it? We're back?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, So I'm gonna submit my first movie to
- 2:21Speaker 1: to the court. Okay, Malcolm Max, Malcolm Max is a
- 2:23Speaker 1: good choice. I got no way that's coming off. It's
- 2:26Speaker 1: staying in there. Okay, all right, what you got is
- 2:29Speaker 1: in there?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Okay, So I'm gonna go training.
- 2:32Speaker 1: They absolutely okay, that's my one and two. That's the
- 2:35Speaker 1: yin and yang of Denzel. I feel like those are
- 2:37Speaker 1: the two films that are uh that he I feel
- 2:40Speaker 1: like he can do more, but he has shown us
- 2:42Speaker 1: on wax, so to speak. This is the difference in
- 2:45Speaker 1: my range. Now here's where it gets tricky for me
- 2:48Speaker 1: for Denzel. Okay, so I don't want to how do
- 2:52Speaker 1: I say this? There's a there's some movies where Denzel's
- 2:57Speaker 1: performance he's really consistently great.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, right, but how is it greater? Right?
- 3:04Speaker 1: So what I mean is like great debaters and say,
- 3:09Speaker 1: for example, uh, football movies, remember remember the Titan? Which
- 3:17Speaker 1: performance is better? Which movie is better?
- 3:20Speaker 3: To me?
- 3:21Speaker 1: That's great debaters? Is remember the Titans for debate? And
- 3:25Speaker 1: Titans is great debaters for for football? You know what
- 3:28Speaker 1: I'm saying, like, how do you decide which movie is better?
- 3:31Speaker 3: Now?
- 3:31Speaker 1: Glory, for example, I can say this is a different performance,
- 3:35Speaker 1: different movie. But is that even a Denzel movie? Or
- 3:37Speaker 1: is he in that movie? Because he's not the lead.
- 3:39Speaker 2: He's not the lead.
- 3:40Speaker 3: He steals the show's crucial, he's absolutely crucial.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Remember that movie for him?
- 3:44Speaker 1: One Glory tear iconic moment, get your hands off me, Grave,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you think you're better than me?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Nor and then he took his boots off. No, side.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Rugged, the fee was toe off.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Manil was Turkey Legs, that Disney fall off the bat.
- 4:08Speaker 2: The Black Eyed bes going.
- 4:11Speaker 3: So I don't know how you you know, so you
- 4:13Speaker 3: want to just keep going movie for movie.
- 4:15Speaker 2: We can go. We can go through his filmography and
- 4:18Speaker 2: see which ones is just like, all right, it's not
- 4:20Speaker 2: making it's not making it.
- 4:21Speaker 3: And then we.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Contend to contend to let's do it. So we're going
- 4:25Speaker 2: all the way back. Okay, so we're going back to
- 4:30Speaker 2: the soldier story he was in. He was part of an.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Unsound Okay, I think that's the first time. I think
- 4:36Speaker 1: he said get your hands off me. Actually, that's what that.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I can't remember the name. The older light skin actor.
- 4:41Speaker 1: People say they don't like him to this day.
- 4:43Speaker 2: The drill Sergeant. He was fantastic in that.
- 4:47Speaker 3: We're turning over, Leah, we're starting over, y'all.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I don't know what's happening. This is crazy.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Greg's gonna be all messed up trying to I'm Greg
- 5:01Speaker 3: sucks at that day.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Why do you got this out of order? Let me
- 5:09Speaker 2: go over here.
- 5:14Speaker 3: This is crazy.
- 5:15Speaker 1: The other thing, Leah, if the internet is messed up,
- 5:18Speaker 1: like if it keeps stopping we can just record locally
- 5:21Speaker 1: and then I can stream on the phone.
- 5:27Speaker 3: No scuse me, it's that dog gonna spectrum me.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I can never have nothing to say because it's always
- 5:39Speaker 1: That's what the problem is every time over.
- 5:50Speaker 2: It's just something.
- 5:53Speaker 3: What you changed?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Cauz have over three million fans on Facebook, two million
- 5:58Speaker 1: fans on Instagram, a million on YouTube.
- 6:00Speaker 3: TikTok.
- 6:13Speaker 2: We're back, y'all?
- 6:14Speaker 3: Are we back?
- 6:15Speaker 2: For now?
- 6:17Speaker 3: We're back? Y'all?
- 6:18Speaker 2: Can hear us and see us simultaneously?
- 6:21Speaker 3: Should we start all over? For Greg? Start over? We
- 6:24Speaker 3: didn't really get that.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Let's start Let's start over for Greg Man. Okay, we'll
- 6:27Speaker 2: do this for Greg for Greg?
- 6:29Speaker 3: All right? For Gregory? What up?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Y'all? Welcome to Bob Brothers. I'm Kevin Stage. We're doing
- 6:33Speaker 1: something brand new. But before we get to that, let's
- 6:35Speaker 1: tell you right now we're on tour, okay, and I
- 6:38Speaker 1: don't know what David is going to air, and I'm
- 6:39Speaker 1: not doing them now. I don't, I don't, I don't
- 6:41Speaker 1: have time. Just go to Kemo Stage dot com or
- 6:44Speaker 1: Tony Baker Comedy dot com. Please link in our bio,
- 6:47Speaker 1: check our pages, see what cities are left. We'll be
- 6:50Speaker 1: on tour through almost Thanksgiving, almost Thanksgiving Thanksgiving, and you're
- 6:54Speaker 1: watching this, then, then don't check, right, all right, matter
- 6:57Speaker 1: fact check.
- 6:57Speaker 3: You don't know. We might be, We might be, we
- 6:59Speaker 3: might be in a year from now. You don't know what, right,
- 7:00Speaker 3: You never know, you never know, you never know.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So we're doing something new today. We're doing the top
- 7:04Speaker 1: five Denzel movies ranked in order, in order, and Tony
- 7:09Speaker 1: and I must agree to agree, all right, So I'm
- 7:11Speaker 1: gonna kick it off with my first entry that I
- 7:13Speaker 1: think there's no way that you kick off, right, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: that's Malcolm X. Yes, agreed, Gay Fantastic film. Early in
- 7:20Speaker 1: Denzel's career. Many of us learned about Malcolm X from
- 7:25Speaker 1: that movie. I then went back and read the autobiography
- 7:28Speaker 1: and it was it had a lot of I mean,
- 7:29Speaker 1: it wasn't everything, obviously the book and cover more iconic
- 7:32Speaker 1: performance of.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Course accepted for sure. Yeah, all right, go ahead, piss.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, I'm gonna submit training day of course. Yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 2: just you know, iconic performance. It just showed us a
- 7:48Speaker 2: different side of Denzel we hadn't seen before. Yeah, at
- 7:51Speaker 2: that time, you know, it was him in villain mode.
- 7:53Speaker 2: But even his villain mode it was still just like,
- 7:55Speaker 2: is he a villain? He kept us guessing the whole time.
- 7:58Speaker 2: It's quotable.
- 7:59Speaker 3: It's just to.
- 8:01Speaker 2: This day, still rewatch it. That's a movie. If Oscar winning,
- 8:04Speaker 2: Oscar winning, If I catch it on I men watch it.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Doesn't matter what, it don't matter what.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I caught it in there in the bathtub, And even
- 8:13Speaker 1: though I know what happens, I'd be like, they finish
- 8:15Speaker 1: killed man.
- 8:16Speaker 2: He was in that tub, shotgun to his nostrils, thog.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Can you imagine how scary that is.
- 8:22Speaker 3: He wasn't a good American, he'd be dead and he
- 8:25Speaker 3: lucky the wallet fell out.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Man just so happened to fall happened the chances he
- 8:32Speaker 2: was dead.
- 8:32Speaker 3: When did you figure out what Denzel was doing in
- 8:34Speaker 3: that movie?
- 8:36Speaker 2: In that moment when he set him up with the essays,
- 8:39Speaker 2: That's when I was like, oh, he really is a villain.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Because I was still I was still back and forth
- 8:43Speaker 2: to that point because I thought maybe the cop that
- 8:45Speaker 2: he killed was corrupted. You know, I ain't no, I
- 8:48Speaker 2: ain't know what was going on for sure. But then
- 8:51Speaker 2: in that moment he was trying to keep because I
- 8:53Speaker 2: knew Jake was legit. Jake was legit, so once he
- 8:56Speaker 2: was like, I'm gonna kill Jake. He trash.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, me too.
- 9:00Speaker 1: All right, So now here's where we come to a
- 9:03Speaker 1: little fork in the road. Now, Denzel is a victim
- 9:07Speaker 1: of his greatness as far as ranking goes, because he's
- 9:10Speaker 1: so consistently good in his movies. How do you tell
- 9:13Speaker 1: the difference, for example, great Debaters versus remember the Titans,
- 9:18Speaker 1: his performance equally as good. Yeah right, so how do
- 9:21Speaker 1: you decide both good movies, both enjoyable.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I'm not even saying these two should be in his
- 9:26Speaker 3: top five.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I'm just saying he has a lot of movies like
- 9:29Speaker 1: That Man on Fire, you know, and Denzel Q, John
- 9:33Speaker 1: Q and all that.
- 9:34Speaker 3: But anyway, let me.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna just submit to you one I think you
- 9:37Speaker 1: might consider, and then it's gonna get tough, and it's
- 9:41Speaker 1: probably gonna get tough on the rankings. Tough, I'm gonna submit.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna submit Glory because it's one of my earlier
- 9:50Speaker 1: Denzel things and he has the bonus of winning an
- 9:54Speaker 1: Oscar for that as well, Best Supporting Actor some eighties, eight, eight, nine,
- 10:00Speaker 1: eighty nine, Yeah, okay, first Oscar, So it was back
- 10:05Speaker 1: back training Day, not back to back, but what we're
- 10:07Speaker 1: talking about back to back iconic iconic movie wasn't even
- 10:11Speaker 1: like his lead, but it was more of an ensemble
- 10:13Speaker 1: cast for sure. You know what I'm saying. I guess
- 10:15Speaker 1: Matthew Broderick and.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Aways. Those are the names above the title.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Carrie Elway was above den't hell.
- 10:23Speaker 2: No not in not in that. I think it was
- 10:26Speaker 2: Matthew Broderick. There might have been Morgan. Those four people
- 10:31Speaker 2: they were above the title four.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Oh got you?
- 10:34Speaker 1: You're saying, no, no, no, no, no, okay, okay, all right, So
- 10:37Speaker 1: now Tony, I don't know. It gets tricky because he
- 10:40Speaker 1: got a lot of movies. You got highest to Lois
- 10:42Speaker 1: in there.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah, people hate people not liking it.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I'm just joking. I haven't seen it. Have you seen it?
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah? I liked it, but people they not liking it
- 10:49Speaker 2: in my review comments section, they not feeling it.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I heard the score, but it's like the music is.
- 10:54Speaker 2: But Spike Lee's music has always been overbearing. It really
- 10:59Speaker 2: like turn it up, turn the volume up. From school
- 11:02Speaker 2: days on back man, his music be loud. Yeah, always
- 11:08Speaker 2: had loud, like turn that ship up. I can't hear
- 11:15Speaker 2: it like Spike is loud. Nah man, crank it up
- 11:18Speaker 2: a little bit. His music has always been loud. His
- 11:20Speaker 2: whole promography peeves food is my biggest expense. It's just
- 11:27Speaker 2: my biggest expense in life. Like, the amount of money
- 11:31Speaker 2: I spend on food weekly is crazy. It's crazy, you know,
- 11:36Speaker 2: outside of like you know, my house food is number two.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I feel like the amount I spent on food is
- 11:44Speaker 2: just crazy. And you really don't have to spend big

- 12:09Speaker 2: cheesy Mexican street corn hash. That sounds amazing to me.
- 12:13Speaker 2: This sounds amazing. And I know y'all be like, Tony,
- 12:16Speaker 2: you're a vegetarian, but I be, I still know what
- 12:20Speaker 2: sounds good, okay, And you'll spend less on these flavor
- 12:25Speaker 2: packed homemade meals than you would on your normal groceries
- 12:28Speaker 2: or at a restaurant cooking the same things over and over.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Is that what you're doing cooking the same things over
- 12:33Speaker 2: and over. That's me, I cooked same things over and over.

- 13:55Speaker 2: back to the ball brothers. Let's talk a lot, let's talk.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Let's talk about his Academy Award nominated performances. We just
- 14:02Speaker 2: throw that out there first, so Glory kicked it off.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Then he was nominated for Malcolm X. He was robbed
- 14:10Speaker 2: because you know, they gave it to Alcoacido Alcina. They
- 14:15Speaker 2: just did that because they old Alphacina ow people. Man, No,
- 14:19Speaker 2: I agree, It's not my fault, man, I agree. The
- 14:22Speaker 2: fact that Alpercino never had an oscar up until that
- 14:24Speaker 2: point is insane.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And that's why Jamie Curtis beat Angela Bassett and Stephanie Sue.
- 14:29Speaker 3: And I loved Angela Bassett.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Yeah, if Jamielee, if Angela didn't win and Stephanie Sue won,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you can't hate him.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I wouldn't be mad Jamie Lee Curtis did.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Jamie Lee Curtis wasn't even the best supporting actor in
- 14:41Speaker 1: the movie that she was in.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Agreed, and she won because they owe her Hollywood starlett.
- 14:48Speaker 2: They didn't owe her though. I don't know what they
- 14:51Speaker 2: felt like. Curtis, like she had a long resume of
- 14:56Speaker 2: just like Oscar Killer.
- 14:58Speaker 3: She just been in Hollywood.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Her family been like, that's cool, man, give her the
- 15:03Speaker 1: honym Rarey.
- 15:05Speaker 3: No disrespect JLC.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I like Activia, I love probiotics and my yogurt, but
- 15:11Speaker 1: that ain't got nothing to do with what we talk
- 15:13Speaker 1: about right now.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Man, my bad. I just was still pissed off at
- 15:16Speaker 3: that hot dog fingers.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Nigga so wildig wet fingers, that.
- 15:21Speaker 1: She was in the movie for like three minutes and
- 15:23Speaker 1: it wasn't like a Viola Davis doubt three.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Minutes like dang man president. Oh my god, it was
- 15:29Speaker 2: Jim Lee Curtis got hot dog fingers.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Move along.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Sorry all right, sorry, okay. So Malcolm X he was nominated.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Then he was nominated again for the Hurricane.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Oh shoot, I didn't eve know he got nominated for that.
- 15:47Speaker 3: He did. That was not performance.
- 15:49Speaker 2: That's that's one of my favorite performances of his ever.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Then he was nominated in one for Training Day. Then
- 15:55Speaker 2: he was nominated again for Do Dudu, nominated again for Flight.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Man.
- 16:07Speaker 2: That was good. No, he was he wasn't. Tom, Yes,
- 16:12Speaker 2: he won for that. Tom Hanks won for Philadelphia. The
- 16:15Speaker 2: next year he won for Forrest Gump. So he did
- 16:17Speaker 2: the beat the beg So he was nominated for Flight.
- 16:21Speaker 2: He was nominated for Fences. He was nominated for Roman
- 16:24Speaker 2: j Israel. I did nobody ever seen that movie?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Did you see it?
- 16:29Speaker 2: I saw it?
- 16:30Speaker 3: How was it? It was? It was cool?
- 16:32Speaker 2: But his performance was good. Anytime people be Likenzel plays
- 16:35Speaker 2: the same character, I was like, did you see Roman
- 16:39Speaker 2: Jay Israel? Like? No, then shut up, just shut up,
- 16:45Speaker 2: shut it up. Then he was also nominated for the
- 16:47Speaker 2: Tragedy of Macbeth. So those are all his nominated and
- 16:51Speaker 2: or one uh Oscar performances.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Okay, so.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Out of the Oscar dominated performances, I feel like we
- 17:04Speaker 2: could put the Hurricane in the discussion.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Okay, So now here's my thing right to me, his
- 17:13Speaker 3: performance is.
- 17:13Speaker 1: A part of the equation, but the movie is also
- 17:17Speaker 1: we're talking movie. We're talking movies now. Now I like Hurricane.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I love that movie right now. And here's here's my point.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Love Denzel and he Got Game one of my favorite performances.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Would not argue that He Got Game is a great
- 17:31Speaker 1: movie because Ray Allen absolutely stinks. He stinks it up.
- 17:38Speaker 1: I hate it as a young person. I did like
- 17:43Speaker 1: the recruiting part.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Of the movie.
- 17:45Speaker 2: I bet you was like it was boozs in then.
- 17:48Speaker 3: And he wasn't talking. Okay, but man, I was like, Broy.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Ray Allen, man, stick to dribble? What's that high school musical?
- 17:57Speaker 3: No? No, no, stick in the stuff? You know? I
- 18:01Speaker 3: want to hand him the ball your mouth man.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So I wouldn't argue that's a great Denzel movie because
- 18:10Speaker 1: I don't think ray Allen stinks it up, even though
- 18:13Speaker 1: it's a great movie.
- 18:14Speaker 2: I think he got Game is out.
- 18:16Speaker 1: He got Game is out. And that's how so Hurricane.
- 18:20Speaker 1: If you go on top five, I cannot say it's
- 18:23Speaker 1: top five of the Denzel, let's do this. Let's get
- 18:26Speaker 1: the rule outs out the way. Okay, rule them out,
- 18:28Speaker 1: rule them out, Okay, carbon copy. We're ruling it out
- 18:33Speaker 1: because you've probably never.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Even seen virtuosity. Virtuosity is out. Power is probably out,
- 18:38Speaker 2: never seen it. Crime, freedom is out for queen and
- 18:41Speaker 2: country is out.
- 18:43Speaker 3: The British accent? Who out? You think my British accent
- 18:48Speaker 3: is bad?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Denzel was like, man, I'm not doing this again.
- 18:52Speaker 3: You don't do the accent.
- 18:54Speaker 2: That's why he'll do it.
- 18:55Speaker 3: No, more. He didn't do it in a no.
- 18:59Speaker 2: For Queen the Country Out the Mighty Quinn. Although it
- 19:02Speaker 2: was good out he was Jamaican this early, this early
- 19:06Speaker 2: than Zeil. I'm going. I'm going to chronological lord here.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Glory is still in contention, herd Condition is out. No
- 19:14Speaker 2: better Blues Dope. I'm gonna say, really do like it.
- 19:19Speaker 2: It is love it, but it's Spike, Spike acting for sure. Yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 2: but the safe can't play the trombone. I'm in the trumpet.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Cool ass movie cool, Mississippi. Massala is out. Good Masala
- 19:29Speaker 2: movie out, Ricochet, Dope movie out.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Don't know that one you've never seen?
- 19:34Speaker 2: Rickashaw, Oh, that's a good action thriller. John Lick the
- 19:37Speaker 2: is the villain. Malcolm X. We already discussed much to
- 19:41Speaker 2: do about. Nothing is out.
- 19:43Speaker 3: That's Shakespeare.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Nope, Ensemble Peace, the Pelican Brief, Julia Robinson him
- 19:48Speaker 2: out man, it's out.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Man, it's out. But that's a good movie. It is
- 19:52Speaker 3: a good movie.
- 19:52Speaker 2: But we have a narrowing now an hour all right,
- 19:56Speaker 2: all right, Philadelphia in contention, we will sit.
- 20:00Speaker 3: And set set it on the counter for now.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Crimson Tide, it is about to get tough. For now
- 20:08Speaker 2: because we gather on his filler out the way. He
- 20:11Speaker 2: is tough, but I don't think it's yeah yeah, so
- 20:15Speaker 2: we'll take it out. Virtue watsingy big.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Out, big out. Russell Crow crushed him in there.
- 20:19Speaker 2: This is in my personal time five. But I know
- 20:21Speaker 2: it's not gonna make it. Devil in the Blue Dress, Love,
- 20:23Speaker 2: Devil in the Blue Dress. I love that movie.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Probably not top.
- 20:27Speaker 2: We're not gonna Courage under Fire. I think it's out yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 2: good movie, though Preacher's wife is cute out.
- 20:35Speaker 1: See you don't like que that's your problem. We wanted
- 20:39Speaker 1: Whitney Houston to have sex with the Angel. We wanted
- 20:42Speaker 1: to cheat on her husband, who wasn't even cheating on her.
- 20:45Speaker 1: All he wanted to do is get the roof of
- 20:47Speaker 1: the church or do something with the church. And we
- 20:49Speaker 1: was like, yeah, yeah, smash the angel, Whitney, give angels.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Whitney Houston the cheat in the name of the Lord,
- 20:57Speaker 2: and I want you to admit it.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Not only with the name of the law, with one
- 21:00Speaker 1: of his angels. He's like, yeah, man, angel, fine, y'all
- 21:03Speaker 1: do some sex.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Y'all wanted this.
- 21:06Speaker 3: What's wrong with us? Man? Y'all wanted celest your pumps.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Women women be wanting other women to cheating these romantic comedies. Man,
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm sick of the sick of the double standard Meg
- 21:18Speaker 2: Ryan and the trifling heifer in every romantic comedy. When
- 21:23Speaker 2: she's Harry Miss Sally, she was legit in that one.
- 21:26Speaker 2: But you got Male and the Sleepings in Seattle, Man,
- 21:29Speaker 2: she had a dude already sick of y'all trying to
- 21:35Speaker 2: get with the good guy, but she had a whole
- 21:37Speaker 2: nother man.
- 21:39Speaker 3: All right, get okay out of there, all right.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Falling left on gym Yo.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Falling is a okay. Now you gotta contend with falling, Okay,
- 21:52Speaker 3: so we leave it.
- 21:52Speaker 1: We put it on the side, man, because hey, now
- 21:55Speaker 1: falling is good John Goodman when he was singing.
- 22:03Speaker 2: It's a creepy film, a.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Freaking creepy film. I have forgotten about.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Fall It was a good time. We'll put it on
- 22:11Speaker 2: the side.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Put it on the side, towards the back of the continent.
- 22:14Speaker 2: All right, he got game is out, ray out there,
- 22:19Speaker 2: the siege is out. Yeah, Okay. The bone collector, I.
- 22:24Speaker 1: See, I was gonna say, I really like bone collect
- 22:26Speaker 1: about a falling, but I wouldn't say it's top five
- 22:28Speaker 1: really good movie though movie. You know, he was in
- 22:30Speaker 1: his thriller bag. It's a little suspicions in that bed,
- 22:34Speaker 1: just moving his head. It made me a little bit
- 22:35Speaker 1: afraid of taxis for a minute. Remember the little locked thing.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, then then you're you're done.
- 22:42Speaker 3: You're done.
- 22:43Speaker 2: It's stuck in there. That's crazy. All right, Okay, so
- 22:46Speaker 2: it's out the hurricane. I want to keep let me
- 22:51Speaker 2: you can continue. And he was, he was. He turned
- 22:54Speaker 2: in a great performance and the movie is good. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 2: all right, remember the Titans in the conversation got to
- 23:01Speaker 2: be Okay, training day, as we already stayed, it's in there,
- 23:05Speaker 2: John Q. In the conversations.
- 23:07Speaker 3: What I'm saying, John, you gotta be in there.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it got to be in there in the conversation.
- 23:14Speaker 3: It might be four or five, but I mean John.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Q in the Okay, Antwine Fisher, this is an important
- 23:22Speaker 2: film to.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Me personally, know what what what what happened.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It made me look for my my real pop. It
- 23:27Speaker 2: was real impacted, even though it wasn't my real pops.
- 23:29Speaker 2: But I thought it was my real pops at the
- 23:30Speaker 2: time because my fatherhood story was but at the time.
- 23:37Speaker 2: It just opened my mind up to looking for Pops.
- 23:39Speaker 3: But Davis is in there.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Trash, yeah, big trash. But I know, I know it's
- 23:44Speaker 2: not Tip five, very important movie.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Who acquire for the Little Boy?
- 23:48Speaker 2: Man?
- 23:48Speaker 3: Who for the Little Boy? I was like, man, the
- 23:51Speaker 3: little boy man? Come on, what's going on with a
- 23:53Speaker 3: little boy?
- 23:54Speaker 2: Tough man? That movie? That me up?
- 24:01Speaker 3: Crystal hold you know my real dad. I got the
- 24:04Speaker 3: whole thing going on.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I cried.
- 24:06Speaker 3: I was like.
- 24:11Speaker 2: That didn't look And this is when I wasn't crying
- 24:15Speaker 2: at movies at that time.
- 24:18Speaker 3: You sensitive in that area. All right?
- 24:20Speaker 2: All right? So Antoine fishes out out of time. It's
- 24:23Speaker 2: a good time, but it's out.
- 24:24Speaker 3: That's Paula Patton.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Is that no?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:28Speaker 2: So now Lathan is in this and even the.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Sex scene that they was they was fawning over a
- 24:33Speaker 1: couple of months back on Twitter, he smashes to not
- 24:35Speaker 1: lathen in there.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Yes he got me like this, yeah yeah, yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Didn't put it in.
- 24:43Speaker 2: This was up to no good. So he's trying to
- 24:45Speaker 2: cover his track. That's the thing. Man, I'd rather do
- 24:50Speaker 2: a sex scene than a love scene.
- 24:52Speaker 3: What's the difference.
- 24:53Speaker 2: I don't like people seeing me kiss.
- 24:56Speaker 1: You.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I rather just be all pumps, no kids. I can
- 25:00Speaker 2: get I can fake the pumps all day.
- 25:02Speaker 1: But what about the like the pump, I mean the
- 25:04Speaker 1: kiss lead up. I'm not like, not romantic kiss, but
- 25:07Speaker 1: you know they're like you know a movie.
- 25:09Speaker 2: They love a good nostra breathy kiss, smash against the kids,
- 25:14Speaker 2: knocked the furniture down, take it, take for example, sinners right,
- 25:18Speaker 2: remember when Smoke had got back with his egg. Yeah,
- 25:22Speaker 2: they would marry the store for a while. Then they
- 25:23Speaker 2: just started smashing in the store.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Uh oh, I'm sorry smoking with Smoke with Annie, Yes, okay,
- 25:31Speaker 1: okay at her her thing.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And the lift skirt just hit it from the bag.
- 25:36Speaker 2: They didn't kiss. I can do they can go straight
- 25:38Speaker 2: from let's get just get the stirred up we're going there.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I could do that.
- 25:43Speaker 3: You can go straight pops.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I can go straight pumps. But the makeouts and the kissing.
- 25:47Speaker 1: So when when Stack was kissing Mary and the whole
- 25:49Speaker 1: spit in the mouth, you couldn't do the spinning mouth.
- 25:51Speaker 3: What is it about your kissing? Are you? Are you?
- 25:54Speaker 2: I'm just always been like I don't want people seeing it.
- 25:57Speaker 2: I don't want people seeing me kissing man you kissing.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Your eyes on.
- 26:01Speaker 2: They be closed. I don't know what it looks like
- 26:03Speaker 2: from the outside, but I just feel like they about this. Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 2: this has been the thing for me. Any girl that
- 26:09Speaker 2: has ever dealt with me knows, like, I don't like kissing.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Oh so you don't do public, So you'd rather do
- 26:15Speaker 3: a porn than a kissing scene.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I'd rather do straight pumps.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Remember Montgomery war Remember old.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Dude at the end of the first season Insecure, when
- 26:26Speaker 2: he was breaking old girl down. I can do that
- 26:29Speaker 2: all day and night, cheeks out. But the kissing man
- 26:34Speaker 2: like I I'll kiss my girl out the public. But
- 26:38Speaker 2: it's not gonna be it's not gonna be no be,
- 26:41Speaker 2: no butteriness, and it ain't gonna be it's gonna be
- 26:44Speaker 2: like hey, smooth and them looking around. I'm trying to
- 26:47Speaker 2: get out of it, man, But that's always been a
- 26:49Speaker 2: thing for me, Like like at.
- 26:51Speaker 3: My wedding, I was like, man, they're looking that's like
- 26:55Speaker 3: a pack.
- 26:57Speaker 2: But people are zero in on the pack.
- 27:01Speaker 3: That's hilarious.
- 27:02Speaker 2: They like, man, just watch them kids. But around the
- 27:06Speaker 2: corner when nobody's around, Oh, I'll devouring you hole down
- 27:11Speaker 2: to the shoes. All you see is a woman's shoes
- 27:14Speaker 2: hanging out of my mouth like you devoured her a man.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Nobody was around because I enjoy kissing a lot. But
- 27:22Speaker 2: I just know what man, make it dark man, all right,
- 27:25Speaker 2: I can't be you know. And then they got to
- 27:27Speaker 2: be fake on camera. It's tough.
- 27:29Speaker 3: And then you got to take the takes. Yeah, multiple takes.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Kid takes the caid and then the people in there
- 27:33Speaker 1: watch so the people watching you during the filming, and
- 27:36Speaker 1: then you are gonna also watch the.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Fills close ups loom in on the kids.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I kissed that girl and I was like, act a
- 27:43Speaker 3: dirty man.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Guys, Here's what I want you to do, a right,

- 30:00Speaker 2: Was what it was good though, it's cool. Yeah, Inside Man,
- 30:05Speaker 2: good time, but it's not you know.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I like Inside Man as a different Spike Lee movie
- 30:10Speaker 1: more than I would argue it's a top five.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Denzel, it was.
- 30:13Speaker 2: All right, deja as we see American Gangster. Oh, it's
- 30:19Speaker 2: in the conversation.
- 30:20Speaker 1: In the conversation, Okay, great Denzel, great film. Russell Crowe,
- 30:26Speaker 1: him and Denzel do good work together. The Killing Yourselbo
- 30:30Speaker 1: in the Street. I'm gonna go with you.

- 30:43Speaker 1: That is the problem you got you give me Malcolm X.
- 30:46Speaker 1: That's big joker, right or a little joker trading day
- 30:50Speaker 1: for sure.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I don't know how you take Glory off there, So
- 30:53Speaker 1: if you were to put American Gangster, that means there's
- 30:54Speaker 1: only one movie left.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Glory is coming off, coming on, all right, before we
- 31:00Speaker 2: get together, before we get to the breakdown. All right,
- 31:03Speaker 2: we're getting rid of stuff.
- 31:04Speaker 3: They tried to kill my wife.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, chest pump the Great Debaters out. Yeah, it
- 31:11Speaker 2: was a good time.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Shout out the journey smart for sure, for sure.
- 31:15Speaker 2: The taking the pill on one, two three out. Okay.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I was just gonna say that when you said, insight man,
- 31:20Speaker 1: get these trains held out of here man.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Book of Eli. I like Book of E Line a lot,
- 31:24Speaker 2: but it's the top five. I did enjoy, though I
- 31:27Speaker 2: did I feel like that. It was a blind I
- 31:29Speaker 2: watched them some reason unstoppable.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Train, little train situation going.
- 31:37Speaker 2: He did back the back trains, Dude, a safe house
- 31:44Speaker 2: out is that? Mike Wahlberg, Ryan Reynolds a different way flight,
- 31:51Speaker 2: great performance, but it's.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Not with me and Tony say, I'm I'm hungry right
- 31:55Speaker 1: now because that whatever.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I say came drunk. Right now. Even calling due, I'll
- 32:03Speaker 2: be like, only got one killed. It's always that kadence.
- 32:08Speaker 2: So flight is out.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Okay, flight is out.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Two guns is out? Yeah, two guns. It was just
- 32:12Speaker 2: it was they make that. It was he got the
- 32:14Speaker 2: bad You know what I'm saying, the equalizer dope, but
- 32:18Speaker 2: out get them all out? Then, okay, all three equalizers.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Especially the third one. Nigga about seventy years old. Equalize
- 32:24Speaker 1: the three No, no, you're cool, but they're not gonnap
- 32:26Speaker 1: top five. And also, I don't like when action heroes
- 32:29Speaker 1: are too.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Old, like Denzel did that and you died you because
- 32:35Speaker 3: then tel went short.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Chopped, but he grabbed, he grabbed a hand here and
- 32:40Speaker 2: he got.
- 32:40Speaker 3: The nerve and come on, I know old man's strength. Yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Then I heard by the way I kind of went in,
- 32:45Speaker 3: it was a little too much. I heard. I felt bowed,
- 32:48Speaker 3: really could laugh.
- 32:50Speaker 2: I still try to go through the episode Magnificent seven.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Out Yeah, yeah, cool though, Yeah, but no fences not
- 32:59Speaker 3: top five.

- 33:36Speaker 1: Dost thou wanting to watch it, No thou doesn't press
- 33:38Speaker 1: the play his fourth th h the stuff.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it, but I haven't seen it.
- 33:44Speaker 2: So Equalizer three, Gladiator two and Highest to Lowest both out.
- 33:51Speaker 3: I'm not gonna argue that. Okay, So where are we stand?
- 33:53Speaker 2: So now still in the conversation, we got glory is you?
- 33:57Speaker 2: You want to keep Glory around in the conversation. Okay,
- 34:02Speaker 2: we want to keep philadelph Do we say Philadelphia?

- 34:14Speaker 5: in the conversation. You have Philadelphia, Philadelphia? Okay, Philadelphia fallen
- 34:21Speaker 5: the hurricane, remember the Titans, John Q Man on fire,
- 34:25Speaker 5: Maybe American Gangster and maybe Glory.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna say American gangster got to go in solidified. Okay,
- 34:32Speaker 1: of what we have left, American gangster gotta be in there,
- 34:36Speaker 1: especially if you if you, if you're on Glory, then
- 34:39Speaker 1: I know American gangster.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I think Glory is out. Really Yeah, you know what
- 34:44Speaker 2: for a movie as a whole, I just remember bits.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I'm partial to war movies.
- 34:49Speaker 2: If I if I must introduce my bias love war
- 34:52Speaker 2: film Civil War.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I also was learning about it at that time. But
- 34:57Speaker 1: it ain't like, oh, man, let me cut Glory.
- 34:59Speaker 3: On it and watch the same Glory years. No, I
- 35:02Speaker 3: don't want to see slave feet with they have no socks. Man,
- 35:05Speaker 3: I don't want to.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Was in there. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Morgan Freeman.
- 35:10Speaker 2: Seeing Morgan Freeman and Dinzel together was a rare treat.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah, and that was great. He was Raphael Basically it
- 35:16Speaker 3: was l turtle for a.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Great leader slavery. But but but the movie as a whole,
- 35:25Speaker 2: it's just okay, I'm okay with that story is out?
- 35:28Speaker 3: Are you? Are you saying American gangster is American gangster.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I'm not fully committed to the top five just yet,
- 35:34Speaker 2: but I'm still down with the hang around.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Until what's your what's your entry that you.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I want to do? I want Man on Fire in.
- 35:47Speaker 3: There, Denzel, Dakota Fanning, Creasy Bear.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I really like the storyline the movie, the way cinematography
- 35:58Speaker 2: was going crazy.
- 35:59Speaker 3: And the correction.
- 36:00Speaker 2: I like how ruthless Denzel was to get that child back,
- 36:06Speaker 2: and his character was just interesting because he was dealing
- 36:09Speaker 2: with so much internal stuff throughout that whole thing. I
- 36:14Speaker 2: just think that was a That was a great Denzel
- 36:17Speaker 2: performance in a dope movie.
- 36:18Speaker 3: You're partial to action too, Oh yeah, for sure, partial
- 36:21Speaker 3: to action.
- 36:22Speaker 2: American Gangster got some action, but I just feel like
- 36:26Speaker 2: American Gangster there.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Was something missing, what was missing?
- 36:30Speaker 2: I don't know what it is.
- 36:32Speaker 3: That wasn't nothing missing?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Now everything had Russell craw and Denzel opposite each other,
- 36:38Speaker 1: bigging each other up.
- 36:40Speaker 3: Great story. I didn't know about Frank.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Maybe I wasn't as invested in Russell Crowe's side of it.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I don't think you need to be.
- 36:49Speaker 2: But still that was that was that movie.
- 36:52Speaker 3: It was I won't say fifty forty seven forty seven.
- 36:55Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, that's a that's a big
- 36:56Speaker 2: percentage off Man on Fire. I'm fully invested through out
- 37:00Speaker 2: I ain't even argue for but American gangs. I think
- 37:03Speaker 2: I just wasn't that into Richie side of the whole story.
- 37:08Speaker 2: So you're going out and then I feel like American gangster.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Like once they got him and he was all cool
- 37:13Speaker 2: and cooperative, I feel like they started rushing the proceedings.
- 37:18Speaker 3: We want to fast forward that part, man.
- 37:21Speaker 2: But I'm still you know, it could be in there,
- 37:24Speaker 2: but that that's that's why I got.
- 37:25Speaker 1: We got to wheeling down, so everything we're saying is
- 37:29Speaker 1: still in there.
- 37:30Speaker 3: So we still John.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Oh my god, where you Okay? What's your thoughts on
- 37:38Speaker 1: John Q? Because that's up there? Is there something missing
- 37:41Speaker 1: from John Q? Did you believe the child didn't bring
- 37:44Speaker 1: enough to the table with the heart palpitations?
- 37:47Speaker 2: John Q is excellent, but that's just something I can't
- 37:53Speaker 2: because we got a factor in rewatchability.
- 37:56Speaker 3: I can't up John Q because of the sadness factor.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Yeah, man, that movie is heavy man.
- 38:02Speaker 3: James woods Boy, he played.
- 38:06Speaker 1: The rich people talking about hearts over tennis and the
- 38:10Speaker 1: and the black baby's heart exploded at baseball pracmos man.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Because we we we gotta we got a factory and rewatchability.
- 38:18Speaker 3: We remember the Titans. I could watch every day. Is
- 38:24Speaker 3: that was a TV movie?
- 38:25Speaker 2: It's still in contention.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's great, great watching. But how is it more
- 38:30Speaker 1: we watch more than the Great Debaters?
- 38:32Speaker 3: Yeah? Okay, I ain't seen the Great Left Side Wood
- 38:37Speaker 3: Harris is that guy.
- 38:39Speaker 2: From Donald they call me Donald was good in there.
- 38:44Speaker 1: That's like his thing that he knows how to do.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I don't know how to describe it, but he does.
- 38:48Speaker 3: It really well. And that doesn't really well and scrubbs.
- 38:50Speaker 2: It's a good time. It's a fun guy.
- 38:53Speaker 3: I don't know him, but I imagine.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Every role I've seen him, and he's been a good time.
- 38:59Speaker 2: New Jersey Drive.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Ryan Gosling is in there. Is the Country, the dude,
- 39:04Speaker 1: the sunshine, the actual guy. He's a football coach right now.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Really yes to day to day to this day. And
- 39:10Speaker 1: my brother went to that high school. Okay, Herman t.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Boon or whatever it's called.
- 39:14Speaker 2: We still got ten left.
- 39:16Speaker 5: I mean, now you're putting remember the Titans in there?
- 39:19Speaker 3: Are we saying Man on Fire is top five? I
- 39:25Speaker 3: might not argue with you.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I might. I think Man on Fire has a good
- 39:29Speaker 2: case with top five. We'll take the hurricane off.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Get the hurricane the hell out of here.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Acting performance Top five for sure.
- 39:37Speaker 3: The movie.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Nah, man, but we'll take the hurricane off.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Now. We're not doing top ten because top ten is
- 39:44Speaker 3: too easy.
- 39:45Speaker 2: That's the bailout. It's meant to be hard, dang, because
- 39:54Speaker 2: the problem is man on fire American gangster John Q.
- 40:00Speaker 2: I think John Q was out just because of rewatchability.
- 40:05Speaker 2: That's great, man, that's a that's a downer, even though
- 40:08Speaker 2: even though it's a happened and he's still went to jail.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I can't handle that movie. I love that.
- 40:12Speaker 3: By the way, they was like.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Yeah, man, yeah, your son is gonna be alright, gonna
- 40:20Speaker 2: do this two years.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Absolutely, And I don't want black people to go to jail.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But if they would just be like, man, no jail,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I'd be like, man, yeah, I'm not going to bury
- 40:32Speaker 1: my son.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Man, this is a heavy movie, so all these Malcolm
- 40:37Speaker 2: XX Training Day is heavy. But I can rewatch that.
- 40:40Speaker 2: I've rewatched it.
- 40:42Speaker 3: That's true.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah the end started man, Yeah, Okay, so I think
- 40:49Speaker 2: Philadelphia is out.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Yeah, get Philadelphia out of here, man and take the
- 40:52Speaker 3: cheese steaks with him.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Philly, Philadelphia's out.
- 40:59Speaker 5: Uh So the ones out that you've mentioned Philadelphia, John Q,
- 41:06Speaker 5: Glory and the Hurricane. So what's left is fallen, man
- 41:09Speaker 5: on fire, American Gangster.
- 41:11Speaker 3: And remember the Titans fallings out. Then we don't have
- 41:15Speaker 3: five here we do?
- 41:16Speaker 2: How we still got man left.
- 41:18Speaker 3: So falling, So we said manifire, still in.
- 41:23Speaker 5: Man on fire, American Gangster, falling. Remember the Titans, Malcolm
- 41:28Speaker 5: X Training Day.
- 41:29Speaker 2: So so we get six.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Okay, so that means we're saying Malcolm X Training Day,
- 41:35Speaker 1: Man on Fire, we were the Titans, and one more.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It's got to be Americans to be American gangs.

- 42:02Speaker 1: we move on?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you know I'm taking John Cue for I'm good
- 42:05Speaker 2: with these.

- 42:38Speaker 3: Friend, like I never seen it before.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I can't wait till the war and pushes his figure
- 42:43Speaker 1: through that poster, his face when he rips it off,

- 43:00Speaker 3: One for sure.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Malcolm X is one.
