A 37-year-old man, Jacob Audie, has been sentenced to life without parole for the premeditated murder of his 72-year-old roommate, Michael Schille, in a shocking April incident in St. Paul. Audie called 911 after shooting Schille, leaving him fatally wounded on the couch — and investigators found an AR-style rifle, magazines, and shell casings scattered around the apartment.
