  Speaker 1: saying this a lot. It's college football season. You know,

  Speaker 1: I'm very loyal to my USC Trojans and alumni. I've
• 0:34
  Speaker 1: been following the program, the football program forever. It's in
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: my blood. And they won recently against Washington. And everybody was,
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: you know, in internet land was critiquing the win. I
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: have been watching the games with my brother. He's critiquing
• 0:56
  Speaker 1: the win. And I get it. College football, there's an
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: aspect of college football that's unique in the sense that
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: people critique the win. Like, the quality of the win
• 1:06
  Speaker 1: is judged, right? Fair. But a win is a win. And...
• 1:18
  Speaker 1: I have held that belief, and I've said that here
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: on this show, that a win is a win. A
• 1:21
  Speaker 1: blessing is a blessing, right? Yeah. And I heard Matt Leiner,

  Speaker 1: he did a... I'm starting to fill my Instagram feed
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: with football stuff, which is cool because it's been just
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: spirituality and personal development and witchery. So it's so nice
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: to have some new things in my feed. And so
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: I just happened to stumble across... Matt Leinart's, a video
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: from him. And he said, what I'm saying to you
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: is a win is a win. It might be an
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: ugly win, but a win is a win. A blessing
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: is a blessing. Something being healed, resolved, overcome, desire fulfilled

  Speaker 1: in your life is a win. So maybe it didn't
• 2:11
  Speaker 1: happen the way you thought it should. And believe me,
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: this is probably my biggest struggle at this stage in
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: my spiritual journey, is I believe something's supposed to happen
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: a certain way, right? And I go full out. But
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: if it does not start to unfold the way I
• 2:33
  Speaker 1: think it should, then I get a bit unfaithful. I
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: get pissed. maybe a little sad. And what I have found,
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: and this is what I work at every day, if
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: ever you're like, what's Amy working on in her personal
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: development life? This I will share because I am getting
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: ready to turn the corner, but I just had a
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: moment where I forgot. I forgot because many of us, well,
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: Colette Barron-Reed calls it spiritual narcolepsy, fall asleep at the wheel.

  Speaker 1: I forgot that A win is a win. A blessing
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: is a blessing. So some things that showed up, and
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: it wasn't what I thought, what I had been like, oh,
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: this is the way it needs to show up, God.
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: This is the way it needs to go. Some things
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: that showed up, though, that were very much in full
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: alignment with what I was asking for, but it didn't
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: look like what I thought it was supposed to look like.
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: And so it tripped me up. It really tripped me up.
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: And I was grateful for the thing that showed up,
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: of course. But I was like, well, where's this other
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: thing gone? And what does this mean? And, you know,
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: for the first time in a long time, I found
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: myself sitting and pulling some cards on it and asking
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: questions that I haven't been asking in a while. And
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: because I've been letting things show up, and letting God
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: do it, and just being in the place of a
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: win is a win, a blessing is a blessing. And
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: so what I realized, I don't have anything profound to
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: offer you other than this. Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: So here it was, I was pulling cards, and I was,
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: what does this mean, God? And it showed up like this,
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: and I wanted it like this, and this was the
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: way it was supposed to go, and You know, I
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: plotted it all out and I had executed. What happened here?
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: You know, does this mean I'm not supposed to do this?
• 4:35
  Speaker 1: Does this mean? And I had to, like, I started
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: to get hot. I started, my heart started to race.
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, hell no. This is not
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: the vibe. This is not the vibe. A win is
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: a win. A blessing is a blessing. And sometimes we
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: get so locked into the how and the when and
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: the style points that we forget a win is a win,
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: a blessing is a blessing. Do I think that because
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: USC had a quote-unquote ugly win, sorry, Matt Leinart described it,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: an ugly win, and he was actually praising the team. 100%.
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: And he was like, yeah. He was acknowledging. I love
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: his commentary. I really believe he was born to be
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: a commentator. He's so good at it. And he's cute.
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: He's so cute. He was cute when we were in college.
• 5:44
  Speaker 1: I was there when he was there. He's just still
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: so handsome. But at the end of the day, a
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: win is a win. And that's what he was saying.

  Speaker 1: It's like a win is a win. You can assess
• 6:00
  Speaker 1: how something went and maybe you can make some changes
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: as you go and there might be better approaches. But ultimately,
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: a win is a win. And I don't think just
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: because USC had an ugly win that they shouldn't be
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: going for the college football playoff. But here it is
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: because a blessing came through in a way that I
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: wasn't I hadn't decided it needed to come through. I'm
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: going to put some attitude on that because that's the mindset.
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: Then immediately I started to question, well, can I have
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: my desire? Can it really come through? Is it really
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: going to happen for me? No. Beautifully, I just defaulted into,
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: I'm like, wait a minute. I still think USC can
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: play for a spot in the college football playoffs. A
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: win is a win and a blessing is a blessing.
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: I can still have what I want. even if it
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: was an ugly win. And it wasn't necessarily for me.
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: I don't think my situation wasn't that it was an
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: ugly win. It was just very different than what I thought.
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: And I felt unprepared for the way it all showed up.
• 7:10
  Speaker 1: Same thing. Ugly win. Oh, yeah, yeah. It was an
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: ugly win. Like the way it all unfolded. I was like, oh, well,
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: you know, and we're not being bumped around by life. Breathe,
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: center yourself. Remember who you are. A win is a
• 7:24
  Speaker 1: win and the blessing is a blessing. Stay pointed towards
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: your desire. Things are going to be showing up all
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: the time that are for your good and in your favor.
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: And if you get locked into the how and the when,
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: before you know it, you're going backwards. Backwards. Like I
• 7:41
  Speaker 1: was in an energetic state as I was pulling those
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: cards and my heart was racing. I'm like, oh, I
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: practice all the time. This is not the vibe. I
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: don't do it this way anymore. And so I think
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: all of this has shown up to help me really
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: lock in. I don't do it this way. That's even
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: why I'm doing this show. Because that is how much
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: it's locked in now. Oh no. A win is a
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: win and a blessing is a blessing. Everything that shows
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: up is for my good and in my favor. Life
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: is on my side. Everything is supporting me and getting
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: what I want. And all I have to do is

  Speaker 1: stay open. Open. Open. And a thing showing up differently

  Speaker 1: than I think does not mean I can't have what
• 8:31
  Speaker 1: I want. Cool? A win is a win. A blessing

  Speaker 1: is a blessing. And the more open you stay to
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: that thought, and when I say open, letting go of

  Speaker 1: all your expectations of how it's supposed to happen and

  Speaker 1: when it should have happened, and the way it was
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: supposed to appear. The more that you stay in the
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: place of something good's getting ready to happen right now,

  Speaker 1: that good thing has happened, and you stay in gratitude,
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: you'll know how to navigate anything that shows up. I

  Speaker 1: know we live in a world that thinks we're supposed
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: to know every little detail of our life, right? I
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: believe the whole financial industry is sells us on this
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: bag that we need to be able to predict every
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: little thing that happens. And if we can't even predict it,

  Speaker 1: then we need to have something in place that helps

  Speaker 1: us deal with the fact that we are uncertain about something. No. No.

  Speaker 1: Do your best. Do what you know is right. Trust yourself.

  Speaker 1: And at the end of the day, a win is

  Speaker 1: not mean anything. It means you are moving towards your destination.
