It's stupid. We welcome everybody. Welcome to this week's listen to Still Real
0:20
the Show EPISO number six hundred and ninety nine, July six, two twenty
0:25
three. It is your forbidendoor and money to bank, recap and refueled,
0:31
witching of as to you, I am one after the show. I am
0:36
Jeff Becker. You're joined every single week my host only doctor Trey Franklin's Doctor
0:41
Trey. I've had to get caught up on a lot of wrestling, my
0:44
friend, so I have to ask this. I know you're on. So
0:50
for one, congratulations you're not the only married guy. I'll just show anymore.
0:53
That's right, thank you. Number two, you would on your honeymoon,
0:58
now I know what I would a mind wrestling was kind of forbidden on
1:02
my honeymoon to a degree, like I wasn't really we didn't watch wrestling.
1:07
We didn't I didn't really look up anything. I tried to stay focused on
1:11
the honeymoon phase. Now, did you abide by that guideline as well?
1:17
Or you know, since you've been dating your now wife for a very very
1:21
long time, did you kind of know the deal? So um to answer
1:26
your question first, circumstances. So I'm gonna say, with the circumstances permitting,
1:30
I did watch wrestling, and I will explain why I watched wrestling,
1:34
and I think once I explained it, everybody will feel bad. But got
1:38
married on Saturday, the twenty fourth of June. Sunday the twenty fifth,
1:45
we traveled and our flight was a little bit delayed, like I was on
1:49
the on the tar mat for a while, and once we flew into where
1:53
we were that evening, I did watch because it was very late and we
1:57
were just getting ready to start the next day. I did watch Woe's Most
2:01
Wanted Treasures and Stone Call Takes on America. So I did watch that wrestling
2:06
programming, so that at that point in time, that was supposed to be
2:09
the only wrestling programming I was going to watch, and I it was it
2:14
was gonna be way too busy for for us to do it. I didn't
2:16
even bother to tune in to Forbidden Door that night, Like I could have
2:21
easily like started watching the second half of the show if I wanted to,
2:23
but I chose not to. I was like, I'll wait till I get
2:25
home, I'll watch it on replay. Um fast forward a couple of days
2:31
later, Tuesday night, had dinner with Um, with with my family and
2:38
my wife's family all traveled down with us because we did what a reception in
2:44
a way, so we did did a reception with everybody we it was it
2:47
was going to be a destination wedding, but UM my grandmother, and we
2:52
wanted her to be part of it. She unfortunately had passed away about a
2:55
couple months after we we got engaged, so we couldn't moved plans around,
3:00
so we had this reception. Was this whole week that we had, the
3:06
vacation week Tusan. I had dinner with my wife and my my my immediate
3:12
family while the rest of her family were out doing some things and had some
3:17
meat loaf. My my sister in law had some meat loaf, My dad
3:21
had some meat loaf. Went home. About two am Wednesday morning, I
3:25
woke up to intense stomach pains and proceeded to get rid of anything that was
3:34
in my stomach in a very short period of time. That was what they
3:39
call food poisoning. So I had food poisoning all day Wednesday. It screwed
3:46
up the entire day. Obviously, had to go to urgent care. My
3:50
wife was with me for about most of the day during all that, and
3:57
it reached the point where I went to urgent Care about like four o'clock Wednesday
4:00
afternoon, got medication, started to feel better, was eating like a bird.
4:06
They put me on this brat diet, not because I'm a brat.
4:11
It's banana rice, apple sauce, and toast, no butter. I know,
4:15
exciting stuff to have while you're on vacation. So I was stuck doing
4:19
that. I started to feel better, told my wife to go with her
4:24
family enjoy the rest of the evening. So my family was out there as
4:29
well, and I stayed back at the hotel room and I watched on the
4:31
DVR that week's edition of Monday Night Raw for three hours. So I broke
4:39
my I had zero plans too. My plan was I was going to get
4:44
back on Saturday, July first, and then I was just going to sit
4:46
down and like power through all wrestling programming. But I was able. The
4:51
only thing I watched was the three hour edition of Raw, so that one
4:56
leading into money in the bank because I had food poisoning, and that was
5:00
like a okay, But outside of that, no other wrestling programming. So
5:04
your wife got so in the vows they say for better, for wors,
5:08
for sickness and in health. Your wife got hit with the worst part at
5:14
the sickness part right away. Oh yeah, I think she was like afraid
5:18
for me, because, I mean, throwing up is not a great pleasant
5:23
thing. And I said to her at one point, I was like,
5:27
this is one of the worst days of my life, like legitimately, and
5:30
when it comes to sicknesses I've had in my life, lime disease, the
5:35
flu, and that food poisoning bout I had is on the mount rushmore.
5:41
I mean it was I maybe in the last the entire time we've been together
5:47
has been twelve years, and I would say and maybe fifteen to twenty years,
5:55
I've probably thrown up five times, which is great, good number,
6:00
staff, right, that's good statistics. Five fifteen years, five times maybe
6:02
thrown up. I threw up like seven eight times in less than twenty four
6:06
hours. I mean I had nothing left in my stomach. Yeah. I
6:11
went through that, you know, a couple of months ago when I got
6:14
put on that new medication for my diabetes, and like we were doing the
6:16
show, I threw up during the show. I remember that I told you
6:19
that off air, like drew up, like hey bye, I threw up.
6:25
It's one of those things where like if you don't like for guys like
6:28
guys like I'm not I'm not a big drinker. You're not a big drinker.
6:30
We don't really ever get overly intoxicated and throw up. So for us,
6:33
like we're throwing up, there's something really wrong. Now, now are
6:39
you blaming the meat loaf? Did Dad and sister get hit with it as
6:43
well? Or no? Just you somehow? Nope, Nope, did not.
6:46
Um it was. It was a big Disney vacation that we all went
6:50
on. So I was down in Disney World in the fl which was hot
6:54
as hell. I don't know how you guys, you Southerners do it,
6:56
do Trey? I mean I stepped outside and I just within two I can
7:00
look like I took a shower. But no, they did not get sick.
7:03
I remember going urgent carera. I was like everybody was trying to tell
7:06
me doctor Trey that I had heat stroke. I didn't drink enough water.
7:11
And I'm a huge, like religiously huge. I drink water like crazy.
7:15
I never dehydrate. I only drink water quite honestly, like outside of coffee
7:21
and milk in my cereal, Like that's literally all I drink is just water.
7:26
I don't drink soda. I drink beer and an alcohol on occasion,
7:30
but it's strictly water. And I was like, I am not dehydrating,
7:32
guys, stop pushing that. Like I got food poisoning. But it's like,
7:35
but everybody else in the group didn't get food poisoning. So went to
7:39
urgent care and I was like, hey, you know, I think I
7:42
got sick off of this. Everybody else did not get sick off of it.
7:45
Is that possible? And the doctor said, he's like, everybody's DNA
7:47
is different. You know, you could have had a bad piece. They
7:50
could have had a better stomach to handle the entire thing than you were.
7:56
But yeah, it to me being the doctor saying this, this does sound
7:59
like food poison and I was and I was cleared up within twenty four hours,
8:03
thank god, because it did screw up like the biggest night that we
8:07
were supposed to have dinner wise, with all of our families together. It
8:09
was supposed to be the quote reception dinner. We did very much a DIY
8:15
very small wedding. I had twelve people including myself with my wife in attendance.
8:20
For the wedding, the same twelve people all traveled down to Florida as
8:24
well. It was a very fun time. But the next day, that
8:28
Thursday, we were supposed to do a for Anybody's erben in the Disney World.
8:31
We were going to go to Animal Kingdom or we went to Animal Kingdom
8:35
spoiler. I ended up making it and we did this what they called Wild
8:37
Africa Trek, which is behind the scenes safari that they do so they have
8:43
a safari you go through the zoo and everything like that at Disney's Animal Kingdom,
8:48
and we did a more behind the scenes, up close a venture which
8:52
I was really looking forward to. Was able to do it, thank god.
8:56
But there were times where I'm like, man, how the hell am
8:58
I going to get home? And I was supposed to like fly out on
9:01
Saturday. The way I was feeling then, I was like, ah am
9:03
I gonna like I literally And I'm the type of guy too, DOCTORV like
9:07
I never want to go to the hospital. I never think I need to
9:11
go to hospital. And I debated. I was like, dude, I
9:13
need to leave here in an ambulance, like I don't know if I either
9:16
strength to do it, or the stomach or any other one how to get
9:20
through this right now to get looked at by a doctor. It was.
9:22
It was brutally bad. Oh yeah, I've had it. I've had food
9:26
poisoning twice that I know of, and like I've heard the first time I
9:31
got it. It didn't I didn't get the vomiting, but it just literally
9:35
I got home and I was like, man, I don't feel right.
9:37
I laid down the saly I know. I was like twelve hours later.
9:39
I had no strength. I was just weak. I felt like somebody had
9:43
literally poisoned me. And it was about twenty four to thirty six hours.
9:50
Actually was back when I was traveling and I actually was supposed to be picking
9:52
up a guy to take him like Ohio or somewhere, and he had to
9:56
state an extra data hotel and didn't what was going on because I was so
10:01
weak. I couldn't answer my phone, couldn't do anything. It literally wipes
10:05
you out. Yeah, and then it's just like randomly like oh, I
10:09
feel better, Like it just kind of comes out of nowhere that you're like,
10:11
oh, Okay. I feel you go from like feeling five percent to
10:16
like eighty percent and you don't even realize it. You're was like, oh,
10:20
okay, I guess I guess the worst is past. So but kudos
10:24
to you for being a trooper, Kudos to your wife for standing beside you
10:28
and not looking to find the minister during all the whole thing and didn't start
10:31
over. So the happiest place on earth and you get through it poisoning yep,
10:37
yeah, I mean. The one thing good thing is I did I
10:39
was able to watch three hours of RAW because I did not get cut off,
10:43
caught up all completely caught up on wrestling until literally this morning when I
10:48
watched the final hour of AW dyn of Mind from this past Wednesday. It.
10:54
I mean, obviously loved getting married, enjoyed the wedding and all that
10:56
great stuff. But if I'm a wrestling fan who prospect, who does a
11:00
wrestling podcast, I could not have picked a worse time where there's an AW
11:03
pay per view which is already five hours, right, and a WWWE pay
11:09
per view just sandwiched in there and then had to recap it in the last
11:13
two weeks. Obviously, if you've been joining us the last two weeks.
11:16
You know, two weeks ago it was a very timely show, but last
11:18
week's show was not as timely because I was away and we recorded it in
11:24
advance to kind of give a little bit of a break and what's going on,
11:26
and then we're going to come back here and recap and review everything.
11:28
So we're back here. It's been a lot of wrestling, Doctor Try,
11:33
I guess if you consider it all because I had to watch the pre show
11:35
as well Forbidden Doors, so that was about a five hours show. You
11:39
had the three hour Raw, eight hours, two hours of NXT, ten
11:43
hours, two hours of Dynamite twelve hours, two hours of SmackDown fourteen,
11:50
Rampage one hour, and then Saturday was mining the Bank. That was about
11:56
three hours. So that's when we up to twenty one. Eighteen well eighteen
12:01
not cutting collision, did I Okay? So eighteen right now, then the
12:05
two hours of collisions. I'm at twenty right, Yeah, twenty three hours
12:09
for Raw, two hours for an XT, twenty five, two hours from
12:13
Dynamite, twenty seven. So that brings us to now, right, So
12:18
twenty seven hours of wrestling I actually watched. I think the only thing I
12:24
missed, and it's because they didn't do any matches was the money the bank
12:28
pre show. So, man, what an idiot I am? Yeah,
12:33
I wasn't a saying because the fact of the matter is you your anniversary date
12:37
is literally a week after mine. So there are times that you have no
12:41
control over your life. And usually the wedding day, the planning of the
12:46
wedding, the date that's selected, you really don't have that much control over,
12:52
so you just have to write it out and then if you have responsibilities,
12:54
you just got to circle back and get it all taken care of.
12:56
So you know, I am, I am lad that you didn't go into
13:01
just like twenty four hours of Lamon's I just binge watched all twenty seven hours
13:07
straight because I know you you're a trooper. You could probably have done it
13:13
just with a lot of red Bull and coffee. But at least you powered
13:18
through it. I'll say this much. If you watched all twenty seven hours,
13:20
you beat me and I didn't have a wedding or a honeymoon to go
13:24
through. Yeah, I think that's probably the OCD in me that I got
13:28
to sit there and watch. I mean, I try not to miss most
13:31
wrestling things. But it's definitely getting difficult, right, I Mean that's what
13:35
we've talked about with Collision and all that stuff. It's it's it's certainly becoming
13:39
difficult to be a wrestling fan and actually like staying up to date on a
13:43
lot of this ship. Like they're making you do tribalism now, even though
13:46
they don't want you to. Yeah, we're like anyone on the end of
13:50
like on the indie them there, like you hit our guys, like why
13:52
can't we just work together and everybody appreciate everything. It's like there's just not
13:56
enough time. Like there's literally not like you you're either it's you know,
14:01
Coke and PEPSI Ford and Chevy. It's it's you have to kind of kick
14:05
a side almost if you want to consume everything, unless you're like me and
14:09
you'll like, go, okay, let me read about it first. If
14:11
it looks good, then I'll go back and watch it to kind of see
14:13
things. But like I have friends in mine they're like, hey, did
14:16
you want Like I missed part of Monday Night Raw and I missed the Rea
14:20
Ripley Italian match, and my buddy was like, dude, that was actually
14:22
a really good match, and I'm like, crap, they finally had a
14:24
good match and I missed it. Now I have to try to go back
14:26
and fit it into my schedule right now. So it is a bit of
14:31
like you have to choose a side in the battle, even though they'll tell
14:35
you that they don't want you choosing sides, but you almost have to,
14:39
just because there's not enough hours in the day to consume everything. And just
14:41
to also give an update here, because we talked about on the podcast and
14:45
at that point I would have figured it wasn't going to be a problem.
14:48
But for those who've been tuning in, you knew about my wedding band issue,
14:52
where I didn't have a wedding band even though I got sized for one
14:58
in January and I lost so much fucking weight that I couldn't fit in it
15:03
anymore. Um. I got a phone call Thursday before our wedding saying that
15:11
the ring that we had ordered to uh my new ring wasn't going to work.
15:18
So they were gonna they were gonna put like this bar in my ring,
15:22
doctor Trebe, so that it once I gained weight again, that it
15:28
would it would be a bigger size and they couldn't do it with the ring
15:31
that I had, so they didn't know what to do, which made things
15:33
fun. Make a long story short, they ended up finding a ring,
15:37
the ring that I needed, with the right size, so they couldn't do
15:41
this bar and I picked it up on Friday at about two pm Eastern and
15:46
I was getting married eleven am the next day, so I liked that they
15:50
basically had to put a belt on your ring. That was the plan.
15:54
We're basically gonna basically make a belt to hold your ring in place until you
15:58
get at again. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. So yeah, I don't know if
16:03
this was an infomercial for getting married or not. To be honest with everyone,
16:07
anyway, let's get into it. Let's talk some wrestling here, doctor
16:10
try Let's talk about the twenty seven hours of wrestling that I watched. Let's
16:12
start with aw New Japan Pearl Wrestling Forbiddendoor Recamp or Review came to us two
16:18
weeks ago from the Scotia Bank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Let's
16:22
get to the first match here was on the pre show, The Mobile Embassy
16:26
defeats Chaos Tremperetta, Chuck Taylor and Rocky Romero and l Desperado. We did
16:30
not predict this match. The multiple miscommunications between Swerve and Brian Cage that led
16:36
to nothing was strange. Swerve Strickland needs a singles championship around his waist as
16:41
soon as possible. In my opinion, I am looking forward to his match
16:44
with Nick Wayne at this Wednesday's edition. Him done to my any thoughts on
16:48
this pre show match, Yeah, it was You're right, it was weird
16:52
the miscommunication stuff, but overall, I was just kind of fodder. I
16:56
kind of feel bad for Trent and Chucked because they're one of my favorite tag
16:59
teams to watch. They're just so good and they're basically in that role where
17:03
they just have to help elevate everybody else. And I still think Brian Cage
17:07
is maybe the most overready wrestler maybe of all time. He might be up
17:11
there, Brill, I thought you were a Brian Cage fan. No.
17:14
I like Brian Cage, like, I mean, I'm glad they put him
17:18
a Prince Nana because you look at Brian Cage and you're like, this guy
17:22
should be a monster, should be a beast. But then like you hear
17:26
him talk and he sounds like a fifteen year old kid, and it's just
17:29
like, yeah, it doesn't really match up. And then he tries to
17:32
wrestle like a cruiserweight even though he's like two seventy five and solid muscle,
17:36
Like nothing really goes together. Like if if Brian Cage wrestled like Wardlow every
17:41
match, he'd be more believable. But like doing all the stuff he does
17:45
is it's impressive, but you don't need to do it. So I just
17:49
think he's just one. Like I think you think he's over been overhyped for
17:52
all these years. Next match is Athena defeating Billy Starks in a quarterfinal match
17:59
in the women Owenhart Foundation Tournament. We did not predict this match, solid
18:03
match. I thought Athena and Billy Starks had a lot of good chemistry in
18:04
the ring. Were my notes from this one. Yeah, I like Billy
18:08
Starks. She's, you know, kind of a local girl. She's from
18:11
like our area. Some of my friends had a hand in training her.
18:15
So I always, you know, if you got kind of got a little
18:18
bit of a soft spot for people, you know. But Athene is such
18:22
a beast and like she's taken to this new role so well, so is
18:27
it entertaining? Good match? It solid, especially for Billy Starks. I
18:30
think Billy's been wrestling like three and a half years, so to be on
18:33
that stage and performed that well, I thought it was a good feathered her
18:37
cap Al Fantasma defeat Stu Grayson. We did not predict this match. I
18:41
did not know Stu Grayson turned on Dark Order as I don't watch ro Oh
18:45
good match. I've always enjoyed watching e LP wrestle. Yeah, I like
18:49
ELP. I also did not know Stu interned on the Dark Order because I
18:52
thought they had just brought him back to join the Dark Order. But who
18:56
knows? Uh, like went again? There so much wrestling to consume you'd
19:00
missed stuff, But I thought it was fine. I liked Stu as well,
19:06
so I thought it was a fine match. Eli j Los Ignarboles,
19:10
de Hapong, Bushi, Shingo Takagi and Hiromo Takashi defeated United Empires Kyle Fletcher,
19:15
Jeff Cobb and t JP. We did not predict this match. Fun
19:19
match that I wish I had some more time or was Showcase on the main
19:22
show for people that like New Japan. I'm sure they were digging this as
19:25
I was. Lij gets the victory. Yeah, this is kind of my
19:29
theme for a lot of this show, which was in ring wise, it
19:32
was great, just there was no build up to it, no story really
19:34
too it. So it's kind of like, oh so I kind of have
19:37
to follow everything to understand the storylines of the show. So in ring work
19:44
was fantastic, so great six man tag, but once again, wish I
19:48
had a little more time and I wish there was some depth to it.
19:51
MJFF defeats Hiroshi Tonahashi to retain the AW World Championship. We will at MJF
19:56
get in the victory. I felt like it was a standard MJF match.
19:59
It was a fine match. I hate to say this, but Tanahashi is
20:02
starting to slow down. I'm glad you said. I've kind of thought that
20:07
seeing from his last couple of appearances in the US. But you know,
20:11
for MJF to get a win over Tonahashi's a feather to his cap. I
20:15
thought the match was fine. I did you know. It's one of the
20:18
things where was like it was a solid match. It's just nothing that you're
20:21
going to like stick out your mind and be memorable other than MJF getting a
20:23
win over Tanahashi. Next matches see him Punk defeating Satoshi Kojima and a quarterfinal
20:30
match in the Men's Own Heart Foundation Tournament. We did not predict this one.
20:33
Good match. I love Punk, leaning to the Canadian crowd booing him.
20:37
I thought the GTS finish was weak and really the only blemish on the
20:41
match as Punk defeated the New Japan Legends to Toshi Kijima. Yeah, I
20:45
kind of thought maybe Kojima, like I don't want to say stiffed him,
20:48
but just didn't sell it to you because of Kenza, So like there's a
20:52
little bit of me that was like conspiracy theorists. But yeah, I thought
20:56
the match was fine. It's just when you have c him Punk on the
21:00
card, you just kind of hope that it's a more high profile role in
21:03
this situation. You know, the Kanta match would have been great. You
21:07
know, a Tonahashi, you know Okada, They're obviously they're for somebody else.
21:12
But I mean most American fans do they know who Kojima is? So
21:18
like does that really help anything? So just bad timing and the Kanta thing
21:22
falling through kind of you know, left a sour taste in some people's mouth.
21:27
Next match, here is Orange Cassie defeating Katti Ori Shabada, Daniel Garcia,
21:32
and Zach Saber Junior in a four way match to retain the aw International
21:34
Championship. We did not predict this match. Great match. Really enjoy watching
21:40
all four of these guys wrestle, good finish, with the Orange taking advantage
21:42
of Shabada's PK to get the pen. I would absolutely watch this match again.
21:47
These are some of my four favorites, Doctor Trey. Your thoughts,
21:49
Yeah, this was the first real match that got me excited on the show.
21:52
Like everything else have been solid, but this one was really fun,
21:56
really entertaining seeing Shabada in the ring, seeing and I love Zach say Regia.
22:00
I can watch Zach Sayer Junior wrestle every single day. Just the technical
22:04
prow as, the skill he's got, and then the contrast with Orange cast
22:08
like this was just a really really fun match. And then Daniel Garcia held
22:11
his own, you know in there with you know a couple of legends in
22:15
Orange Cassidy. So that's that's a really hard quartet to figure out style wise,
22:22
and they made it work seamlessly, so I thought it was a really
22:25
fantastic match. Next match to Sonata defeating Jungle Boy Jack Perry to retain the
22:30
i WGP World a Wide Championship. We both had Sonata getting the victory solid
22:34
match. The moonsalt finish caught everyone including me by surprise, and we finally
22:38
see Jack Perry turn heel as he takes out hook post match. He's been
22:41
really leaning into the heel persona in the last two weeks on Dynamite, which
22:45
has been fun and enjoyable to watch. Sonata retains Doctor Trey. Yeah,
22:49
this, by the way, I love like leading into this. They both
22:52
played the whole I Don't Know who You Are card, which I thought was
22:56
hilarious. But yeah, I really enjoyed the match and then the heel turn.
23:00
I mean, I'm hoping for Hollywood Jack Perry. I want to see
23:03
him grow, I want to see him have a fake black Beard and everything.
23:06
I want him to just go full nWo Hollywood Jack Perry. So just
23:10
drop Jungle Boy all together. We don't have to hear that name ever again.
23:14
I'll be fine with that. The Elite Hangman page Match Jackson, Nick
23:18
Jackson, Eddie Kingson and Tumo hiro Ishi defeats The Blackpool Combat Club John Moxley,
23:22
Claudia Castinolian Wheeler, newt Utah Show to Umino and Cano Skate to kesh
23:26
Go. We did not predict this match really good in fun tan man tag
23:30
team match, I liked Eddie Kingston being conflicted working with his own teammates and
23:33
also having to fight John Moxley your thoughts as the elite Kingston and Tomohiro Ishie
23:38
you get the victory. I would just exci see Kingson and Ishie on the
23:42
same team, Like those guys are like just made for each other. Like
23:47
I can watch those guys team up and fight. I'd be happy either way.
23:52
You know, before a ten man tag to be solid and enjoyable and
23:56
then also have you know, like some sub story in there as well.
24:00
Oh, like I thought it was. It was pretty good for being that
24:03
many guys in one single match, because those are usually messes and chaos and
24:10
cluster f's whatever you want to call it. This one was actually pretty solid
24:14
and told a good story. Tony Storm defeats Willow Night and Gale to retain
24:18
the NW Women's World Championship. They both went in this as women's champions,
24:22
Willow Night and Gale for New Japan Strong. She has since dropped that championship
24:26
match was fine. I feel like AW somewhat missing the boat by by not
24:30
pushing Willow Night and Gale Moore and given her an opportunity to run as the
24:33
top baby face in the AW women's division. She is super over and her
24:37
attitude is infectious. Tony Storm retains Doctor Trey. Yeah, Willow nightingales just
24:42
a joy to be around, Like if you ever get near her, I
24:47
mean, I mean it's one of the things, like I've seen her in
24:48
the ring live in person. She's infectious. So yeah, at some point
24:55
she's going to be the top baby face in AW. I just you know,
24:59
you have to worry abou she's still rather young and a little a little
25:02
brain when he comes in experience, but you know, putting her in these
25:06
high profile matches, I mean, in the last what months, she's got
25:08
to wrestle Tony Storm and Mercedes Monet. Not a lot of women get to
25:14
claim that, so her being features great for them. And I thought it
25:18
was a good, good, solid match and Willow's gallopeticitional world. But you
25:22
know, the outcasts are kind of fun to watch as well, so I
25:25
thought it was a pretty solid, good sequence match. Will Ospre defeats Kenny
25:30
Omega to win the IWGP United States Championship with we both had will osbreak in
25:36
the victory. Phenomenal match. This on the shortlist for Match of the Year
25:38
candidates by year end. In my opinion, I loved how badly Osprey wanted
25:41
to beat Omega and it told a great story. Amazing stuff from two favorites
25:45
of mine. This has been one of the best Kenny Omega matches I have
25:48
seen since he returned from his injury. I love this matched Orey Osprey feeds
25:51
Omega. Yeah, I loved it. Also, the desperation in will Osprey,
25:56
like you can see it in the ring, and that's something that he
25:57
doesn't get a lot of credit. Four is a lot of guys will crap
26:00
on Osprey for being you know, the spot monkey and the high fly or
26:04
whatever it is. When he's really into a match, he can tell a
26:08
good story without actually having to say a word, and Kenny's the same way,
26:12
so you can kind of tell like there's this I don't know if it's
26:18
I don't know if there's any actual heat between them, Like that's always been
26:21
the storyline that they don't really like each other, but they respect the hell
26:25
of each other and they put together a fantastic match. So kudos to both
26:27
those guys. Yeah, Osprey is phenomenal. He's an amazing wrestler, and
26:33
hopefully he sticks around the United States for whatever promotion sooner rather than later and
26:40
six round for a long time. Next match is Sting Darby Allen to at
26:42
Sionido defeating Chris Jericho, Minaros is Juki and Salmon Gerard. We did not
26:47
predict this match. The Jericho Minaros is Zuki chemistry and dynamic is amazing and
26:51
it should be capitalized more. They seem to really enjoy working with one another.
26:56
Overall, fun match happen to Seido finally a paron aw This was fun.
27:00
Doctor Trey, Minara Szuki and Jericho, Man, they cracked me up.
27:03
I loved it. Not to mention you had Sting in a match with
27:08
Minora Szuki, I mean, like the legitimate to the I guess most badass
27:12
grandfathers around. I mean it's sting sixty two. I mean, it's it's
27:18
crazy how well these guys work, and I kind of want to see now,
27:21
I want to see Minora, Szuki, Chris Jericho and Sammy Gabar almost
27:23
played like father son grandfather type thing or something like. Just the chemistry,
27:30
like you said, Sweening, Jericho and Suzuki's so great. Um And it's
27:33
one of those things when you see guys like Jericho or Suzuki having fun in
27:38
the ring, it's infectious as well. So it was. It was a
27:41
really fun little six man tag for for all those guys involved, and it
27:45
just got it. I mean you, I mean, the age range in
27:48
that match, just all that alone kind of blew me away. And then
27:52
finally the main event, Brian Danielson defeats Kazko Okada I Kazko Cotta Doctor Trey
27:56
Head Brian Danielson slow methodical pace for the early portion of the match that started
28:02
to pick up halfway through. Danielson is one tough son of a bitch,
28:06
getting that final ten minutes out with a broken forearm. The injury did take
28:10
away from the match unfortunately, but still a good match. Probably didn't live
28:14
up to my expectations. Because of that, but it was a hard follow
28:15
after osbring Omega. Hopefully we do get another rematch soon. Brian Danielson,
28:21
DeVito Cotta, Doctor Trey. Yeah, this like this to me reminded me
28:26
of a Randy Orton match. Does that make sense? Like you know it
28:29
does? That's spot on, absolutely spot on. It's just that's where those
28:33
old school Randy ormagins starts off kind of slow, kind of methodical. You
28:37
get a little bit of a little bit of juice, and then it slows
28:41
back down then right back into the jews going into the finish. So if
28:45
Brian Danielson nothing else, learned a little thing or two from Randy or because
28:48
that's kind of how that match was put together. The injury, like you
28:52
said, did take away from the fish a little bit. But I mean,
28:55
dear God, you got to wrestle the last ten menads of a broken
28:56
freaking arm. I mean, that's that's pretty damn impressive. And to get
29:00
the submission victory over Okata and getting Ocada to agree to tap out like Tony
29:07
Kahn and got some balls to get Ocada to go along with that. So
29:11
I give them all the credit the world for that matching and putting it all
29:12
together, piecing it through and making it work in the end. People view
29:17
prediction record Doctor Trey went four and oh, I went three and run.
29:19
Coming out of Forbidden Door, I went fifty seven and twenty Doctor Trey is
29:22
fifty two and twenty five. Match of the night and event rating. I
29:29
gave the event rating a four point oh solid four point zero out of five,
29:33
and my match of the night was will Osprain Kenny Omega. I was
29:36
at a three point eight and I also had osprein Omega. I thought it
29:40
was a solid show, but once again, like outside of Osprain Omega,
29:45
is there anything really all that memorable? So that's kind of where I was
29:48
at with that show. I do want to make a note here real quick
29:52
before we get into money the bank. I don't think this is a good
29:55
thing for AW long term as they continue this partnership with New Japan Pro wrest
30:00
saying, but just going off of what you said, Doctor Trey, you
30:02
were surprised at Okada tapped out for Danielson, um Tanahashi and Okada are considered
30:07
like the John Cena and Randy Orton of New Japan Pro Wrestling, like they're
30:14
the top guys in that company. There's seth Ron's Roman reigns, whoever you
30:18
want to say, like they're one and two. Okada and Tanahashi don't win
30:22
in AW and that's I don't think that's a good thing. So a lot
30:26
of AW victories again from this show, and I don't know why New Japan's
30:33
allowing that to happen. I know Sonata defeated Jungle Boy, but just to
30:37
be totally honest, like nobody thought Jack Perry was gonna win, and that
30:41
match was just to catapult him to becoming the new you know, heel persona
30:45
that he is. So I don't I don't like the booking and New Japan
30:49
stars in AW because if you're I get if most AW fans probably know who
30:53
these wrestlers are, But if you're a casual fan that does not know what
30:56
who New Japan is, you think these guys are scrub because they're consistently taken
31:02
els from the AW guys. It feels a little bit like the AW Impact
31:07
Partnership, you know, where it was kind of like it felt really one
31:10
sided, and if you're New Japan, you're like you're hoping to get that
31:14
payback like you're hoping to get Okada Danielson at you know, over at Tokyo.
31:21
Don't you know you're hoping to get some payback on your side, I
31:23
guess, but you know from the state side. Once again, the casual
31:27
fans doesn't know these guys. I guess that's why eight of you looks at
31:30
like, hey, the casual fans may not know who Okada is or Tanahashi
31:34
is, so if they lose, it's not a big insult to the casual
31:37
fan, but the die hard people like us are looking at going, yeah,
31:41
like, like we talked about before the show, you're gonna have jungle
31:45
boy Jack Perry competing for you know, the richest prize in New Japan,
31:48
and he's maybe top fifteen in AW maybe top he's not top five, he's
31:55
not top ten, describing that fifteen to twenty range. And so it was
32:00
kind of one of those things where are like, yeah, like nobody bought
32:02
in that Jack Perry could walk out the IP Heavyweight champions, so him losing
32:07
isn't a big deal, and then you spun it into something else anyway.
32:10
So really, any of the losses that the ANW roster took were minimal at
32:16
best. But meanwhile, you know your top two or three guys all lost.
32:22
So even like your legends, like you know, Jabbata and Hujama,
32:27
like those guys all took els on this show. How does that prop up
32:31
New Japan in their partnership. Strange? It is strange booking. I mean,
32:37
you got to give some of these New Japan guys an aw championship at
32:39
some point here if you're gonna keep doing Forbidden Door, in my opinion,
32:42
it's just strange. And now you're hearing Moxley's eyes are set for Sonata and
32:45
IWGP World Heavyweight Title. So I don't know how we're going to go from
32:50
there. I totally could see Moxley win the championship. Let's switch over now
32:53
to a week little less than a week later w Money in the Bank.
32:57
Previous recap and review. This past Saturday came to us from the O two
33:00
Arena in London, England. Let's get to the first match on the card
33:06
here. Damian Priest defeats Ricochet, Shinsky, Nakamura, La Knight, Santos,
33:10
Eskuar Butch and Logan, Paul and the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder
33:14
match to win a Men's Championship match contract at a later date, we both
33:19
had Damian Priest to get in the victory. I thought this was a great
33:22
Money in the Bank match. The chances these guys take with some of the
33:24
spots are is absolutely insane, enjoyable match, seeing rising stars get this opportunity.
33:29
I was very happy for Damian Priest's you could feel his ascension coming Doctor
33:32
Trey. Damian Priest wins the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder match. So
33:37
I don't know if I'm we predicted it correctly, but I don't know how
33:42
happy I am about it because La Knight is over in London, like like
33:49
there were spots that there were, Butch's climbing the ladder. The crowd is
33:52
booing him for La Knight, So it's you have to kind of wonder at
33:57
times, like they are they missing out on lightning in a bottle. The
34:00
match itself was fantastically fun, like I enjoyed it. Everybody got a chance
34:06
to shine, even like Santos Escobar, who's probably you know, casual fan,
34:12
maybe the lowest guy in that told well he got some great spots overall,
34:15
one of the better money the bank match we've had in a while,
34:17
especially for you know, seven guys who have never held the world championship.
34:22
But he's making me wonder are they Are they missing out on capitalizing on La
34:27
Night while he's hot. Yeah, he's over in London, he's over and
34:30
spoke Ken, He's over in New York, He's out over everywhere. I
34:32
agree with you, I think La and I should have gotten the rub,
34:35
But I also feel like suburn storyline sense, like you're seeing this ascension of
34:39
Damian Priests as well. La Knight is getting the fan rub, but Damian
34:45
Priest is getting the proper creative rub. And I think creatively they made the
34:50
right call and hopefully they do capitalize in La Night. I thought an La
34:53
Night Logan Paul match for Summer Sam was going to be on the table,
34:55
but it appears they're gonna be going with Logan Paul and Ricochet Summers Slam instead,
35:00
which from a social media visual standpoint, I guess that makes sense because
35:05
I'm sure there's gonna be some sort of crazy spots that go viral. But
35:08
I don't know. I think Elian I would have been the right choice.
35:12
Yeah, but Logan Paul, Ricochet all trampoline match. Yeah, and they
35:15
just dunk basketballs and catch footballs as well. Raquel Gonzalez and a Live Morgan
35:21
feat Ronda rousing Shana Basler to win the w Women's Sack Team Championship. We
35:24
did not produce this match. Match was fine. The build of Shana's shockingly
35:28
turning on Ronda was non existent, but the shock of the moment was executed
35:31
really well because nobody saw it coming. It was a cool, surprising moment.
35:36
I guess the build to this was supposed to happen over time, but
35:39
Ronda's injury threw things off from a storyline standpoint, and it also Piercy is
35:44
probably on her way out again, which is why they fast tracked this.
35:46
It looks like Shane and Ronda for SummerSlam. I thought Ronda was potentially gonna
35:51
be a baby face, but Shana was clearly a baby face on Monday's Raw,
35:54
So it looks like Ronda's time and wis coming up again. I hate
35:59
to see it fast tracked, but it was a cool moment on the last
36:00
Rackuel Gonzals and living more in our two times Women's Acteam champions Now and maybe
36:07
like like recap of the match. I thought the match was fine. It
36:09
is what it is. But you know, the shock of Shana turning was
36:14
pretty cool. That caught me off guard. I look at it in a
36:17
couple of ways, like we knew they were gonna be NFBING Tag Team champions
36:21
at some point, and then at some point they were gonna feud. It
36:23
gives the women's tag division an opportunity to be half depth. I guess,
36:29
like everybody's on an even playing field, whereas if SHANEA and rond are just
36:32
running rough shot over the division, you kind of lose that a little bit.
36:37
And now you can bring in Katana and and and uh a ton of
36:42
Chance and Kayden Carter. You know, now you can bringing back you know
36:46
I La Donna and Alba Fire. You can bring in some of the other
36:49
tags. Committee Yes, Um, so it gives the tag team divisions of
36:54
death in the women's division. Um. And then Plus, I'm really excited
36:59
about Shane in a baby face because like, we love just badass baby faces
37:04
that can tap people out, like that's like no nonsense, nobs, just
37:08
kick ass baby faces. We kind of love that this might be a really
37:12
good thing for Shana because we haven't really seen her in this role in her
37:15
time in WWE. Yeah, it looks like if this is maybe forever for
37:20
Ronda Rousey or a long extended period of time, she wants to do the
37:22
honors to Shannon Baseler on the way out because Shanner got her, literally got
37:27
her into professional wrestling, so it would be nice. I've always been a
37:30
fan of Shannon Baselor. She was one of the most dominant females in the
37:32
history of this show at one point in the annext run, so I'm happy
37:37
that she's getting some rub here, even as a baby face, something she's
37:39
never done in w as well. Gunther defeats Matt Riddle to retain the w
37:45
W Intercuntinal Championship. We did not predict this match. Dominant victor victory for
37:49
Gunther work on the injured ankle of Riddle. It was great to see Drew
37:52
Mcatar back and sending in sights in the Intercontinal Championship as he has a legit
37:55
chance at ending Gunther's current historic rain doctor Dre Gunther retained. Yeah, I
38:01
was expecting more out of this match. I don't know about you. I
38:05
just kind of thought with Riddle's background, and you know, he came back
38:08
kind of hot, was featured in the Bloodline stuff for a little bit than
38:12
the Imperium stuff. When I got to know this match, I was like,
38:15
man, are they kind of not writing Riddle off but the elevating Riddle
38:20
because he basically got his ass kicked and then Drew McIntyre came out and stole
38:24
his spotlight post match, and that's pretty much it. So it's like,
38:29
all right, maybe we's he Matt Riddle back in like the mid card area,
38:32
I guess for a little while. So but you know, Drew and
38:36
Drew and Gunther, like, that's gonna be a hell of a match.
38:38
I almost said, banger, I don't want to steal from Shamus there,
38:43
but that'll be a really really solid matchup. And it's just good as he
38:47
drew back, because that was something we were all kind of worried about for
38:51
a little while, according to us, and not Triple Ah because he said
38:54
he thought that was funny that all of us people thought that Drew might leave.
38:58
So but yeah, Acos, he drew back and the crowd was hot
39:00
for it, and just he's one of my favorite performers. Will see in
39:04
the ring right now. Yeah, Drew Mcaty totally Alphredum Matt Riddle, So
39:08
I don't know. That was weird. Like I'm coming in for the intercardinal
39:12
title. Move out of the way. I know you're the number one contender,
39:14
and he's like, all right, bro, let's go get some hamburgers.
39:16
Like that was that was so weird, that raw interaction which U when
39:22
you go back and if you watch it, there's like one woman who says
39:25
take your top off, and Drew Mcaty acknowledges it. He's like, I
39:29
could hear you ask me to take my top off? I thought it was
39:30
a very funny moment. H Cody Rhodes defeats Dominic Masterial. We both think
39:35
Cody Rhodes getting victory. Match feel like the offense wasentywenty five and favorite of
39:38
Cody, which is how it should be heading into another Lessner match at summerslamm
39:44
And just side note here, how about dom Mysterio being promoted in a pay
39:47
per view triple main event match. Never thought I would see the day of
39:51
that happening. So Cody defeats Dom Yeah, and the match was exactly what
39:54
I expected, Like you gotta you have the smarmy, crappy lmy heel that
40:00
did a hide behind you know, Ria Ripley. He shouldn't get that much
40:05
offense. He should you know, occasionally get it the match in peril,
40:08
you know, create that obstacle for Cody. But in the end, like
40:12
the whole idea is that Cody's gotta looked pretty strong heading into the SummerSlam.
40:15
So um, I just thought was also cool seeing we got a Roods Mysterio
40:20
matchup and it wasn't Ray or Dusty or dust In, so like that's pretty
40:24
cool to me as well. So um, yeah it was. It was
40:27
a fine little match there, and I still love that dom is so hey,
40:30
I still want Dominic to steal the money in the bank briefcase and try
40:34
cash in. That's what that's my goal. Next match here is EO Sky
40:38
Defeedians Lina Vega, Becky Lynch. So he started Bailey and Tris Stratus and
40:43
the women's Money in the Bank ladder match to win a Women's co Championship match
40:46
contract at a later date. We both at EO Sky getting the victory.
40:50
Another great money in the bank match I really like to finish for EO Sky
40:52
handcuff Becky Lynch and Bailey to one another through the ladder. I thought that
40:55
was a very creative finish and I enjoyed this match as EO Sky wins money
41:00
in the bank. Woy. So didn't we see the handcuff thing a couple
41:05
of years ago? You're thinking of Sammy Zane the triple threat Interconnal Champion match
41:09
with with Jeff Hardy. Yes, so that's it's but I don't remember both
41:15
opponents being handcuffed to one another, like where they can't climb up the ladder.
41:20
I thought that was more like they went through his ear, remember that?
41:24
Like that that was and that was an awesome match. Yeah, So,
41:30
I mean I thought it was kind of cool, and I like,
41:31
my only issue was that eos are laughing about it, and I'm like no,
41:35
no, no, like be desperate to win the title like she kind
41:37
of lingered that. That's my only knock on EO is that sometimes she lingers
41:42
too much, like you're a heel and you're playing to the crowd or your
41:45
heel and you're you know, getting in them to cheer for you. Is
41:49
like she forgets that she's the bad girl sometimes. But I think in this
41:52
role now, especially with Bailey and knocking her off the ladder, you know,
41:57
that kind of puts EO in a different spot. So I don't know
42:00
about you. I'm really excited for EO and Oscar when that match comes around,
42:04
because that's like a triple aged dream match right there, as those two
42:07
girls going at it. So he tried to make it happen with Kyrie and
42:10
Osca, and now we're gonna get EO and Oscar. So I'm really excited
42:15
to see what those ladies can do when they finally cross pass. Next matches,
42:17
Seth Freakin Rolls defeating Finn Baaler to retain the w Ordwade Championship. We
42:22
both had Seth Freakin Rolls at the victory. Good match Surprising finished with Damien
42:25
pretty slight distracting causing Finn Balor Or the match. We saw that carry over
42:30
on Monday's Raw that closed there with Seth Rollins taking on Dirty Dom Mysterio.
42:36
Damien was on the verge of cashing in and Finn Balor came out cause it
42:39
distraction stopped the cash in. They started bickering with one another earlier in the
42:44
night Judgment Day was saying like a great moment with Dom like with with Ree
42:49
Ripley's like Finn's not here tonight and you hear Tom say you spoke to Finn
42:52
today and she was like stop it, stop it. So you're seeing some
42:55
of the cracks with the Judgment Day, which is a shame because the Judgment
42:59
Day has been so entertaining and fun to watch on TV, which then it
43:04
reaches the point where it's like we got to start causing tension between everybody internally
43:07
in the group and potentially break them up soon right when they're reaching their height.
43:12
Hopefully that doesn't happen. But Seth freaking Ronins defeats Finn Bowder to retain
43:15
Doctor Trey. Yeah. I really enjoyed the match. I thought there's a
43:17
good storytelling in there. The finish I thought was really well done as well,
43:22
like Damien just standing up like if hert cash in, Like, I
43:24
thought that was really like we've got that was to me it was kind of
43:27
original. We haven't really seen that before as well. So overall I just
43:30
really enjoyed that match and all the different layers going into it and the layers
43:35
coming out of it. And then finally the main event, the USO's defeat
43:37
the Bloodline Roman Rains and Solskoya and the Bloodline Civil War tag team match.
43:43
We both had the Bloodline getting the victories, so we got that one wrong.
43:45
Great match with awesome storytelling, and the finish with Jayuso getting the pin
43:49
on Roman Rains was shocking and it makes so much sense for the story.
43:52
So Roman Rains gets pinned for the first time since December twenty nineteen, which
43:57
was at the hands of Baron Corbyn, which is shocking. And think about
44:00
we are in twenty twenty three where Baron Corban is losing on an NXT television.
44:05
It looks like Roman Rains versus jay Uso is going to be a rumored
44:07
match for SummerSlam. I said have been saying recently that I felt like jay
44:12
Uso was the most compelling wrestler in all of professional wrestling today, So it
44:16
made so much sense. This is a great match, Doctor Tres Usos get
44:20
the victory. No, this was this was a really really fun, entertaining,
44:24
just great professional wrestling match. He had the storytelling, the injurygue brother
44:30
against brother, Cousins against Cousin, like all the different layers you wanted to
44:34
match arguably maybe the one of the greatest tag teams of all time than the
44:38
most dominant champion of recent memory. Like, look that Samoan Spike spear spot
44:45
was just awesome and I was like, there's no way like Jay Usso basically
44:50
kicked out of both their finishers hitting him at one time. Like that's pretty
44:53
compelling as well. So this great match shows the heart and the toughest of
44:58
the USOS, the depth that you know, Roman will sink to all that
45:01
stuff. Roman on the apron telling Paul Hayman how much England sucks? Like
45:07
that was great, Like it was just like it literally had a little bit
45:10
of everything. Is so just a fantastic professional wrestling match. Yeah, so
45:15
much fun, great stuff all around. And then pay per view predictions.
45:19
We both went four and one coming out of Money the Bank, So I'm
45:22
sixty one and twenty one in the year. Dutch Tray is fifty six and
45:23
twenty six. Dutch Tray has been on fire lately with predictions event rating Match
45:30
of the night. I gave money to the Bank at three point nine and
45:32
my match of the night was the USOS and the Bloodline. See I had
45:36
a four point zero, so I had USO's in the bloodline also is my
45:38
match of the night. It's so funny. I had a Forben Indoor higher
45:43
ranked and Money the Bank slightly below. You had Money in the Bank higher
45:46
ranked and Forben indoors slightly below. But we both had the same match of
45:49
the night, which is funny. Yeah, there you go. We I
45:52
mean, sometimes we're gonna say way blink, but like you know, different
45:54
tastes a little bit on certain things, but for the most part we're pretty
45:59
on the same French ones. Look, you and I have been married a
46:00
lot longer than we've been to the different strokes for different folks, right doctor,
46:05
try that's what they say? Now, someone to the eighties theme song.
46:09
M all right. So a couple of things there are housekeeping before we
46:12
wrap up this week's Editions show. Let's start with Twitter first. So put
46:16
out a post on Facebook and Twitter on Wednesday, so, which I'm sure
46:22
everybody knows. Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter um is limiting tweets now.
46:28
I think I think normal people, unless you pay one hundred bucks a
46:31
year, can see a thousand tweets aday. In my personal life, I
46:36
wasn't using Twitter all that much. And with this same pain service, tweet
46:42
Deck, which is a program that we use to schedule tweets on SRTU podcast
46:47
on Twitter and Russell Chattanette on Twitter, is now going to be something you
46:52
have to pay for a month from now, so instead of like sticking with
46:57
tweet Deck, which they just change the whole way that program has ran.
47:01
And it's shittier now of course that it was a week ago. I don't
47:05
know why they changed it. You're not going to see schedule tweets anymore.
47:08
You're not going to see us tweeting promoting the show as much as we used
47:14
to, which is unfortunate, but I think it's kind of with the times.
47:16
I think a lot of people are starting to get off Twitter. I
47:20
don't use a personal Twitter account. I don't know if you do, Doctor
47:22
Trey. I tend to use it more to like read news and not tweet
47:25
anymore because it's such a cesspool of bs. So we'll still tweet when the
47:31
show is up and available for download, but you just won't see it up
47:35
as frequently anymore as we used to. And I guess, just to discuss
47:39
as well, threads, which I guess is Facebook's version of Twitter. We
47:45
have not opened an account yet. I don't know if we will, to
47:47
be honest with you, because I don't know. Doctor Trey and I are
47:51
old on social media, So just keep it locked on Facebook, dot com,
47:54
slash sto, REALTI show at SRTU podcast still and of course subscribe to
47:59
us on iTunes. That helps us out. So that's a Twitter update,
48:01
doctree. I never thought I would have to address Elon Musk, but here
48:04
we are on srt U. I mean, I only thought that if we
48:08
ever got big time and we got to go on on the Shuttle mission,
48:12
that we could do like SRTU from Space. That the only reason I thought
48:16
we'd ever have to address Elon Musk on our show. And apparently, um,
48:22
like I, like you said, I don't really tweet that much.
48:24
Sammy doesn't like tweeting all that much. If no, we're talking ce Samy's
48:29
trying to hijack the show right now. Um, but yeah, we don't
48:32
tweet that often. So like, I'm much more of a Facebook and Instagram
48:38
and that user. I guess. Yeah, So, um, we don't,
48:44
I mean I don't. We don't have an SRTU TikTok page so here
48:46
you go. No, we're too old for that shit. I'm not dancing,
48:50
Treys not dancing. So um so there's one house. Keep united in
48:52
the second one next week's show seven hundredth episode, seven hundred straight weeks of
48:59
SRTU, and on next week's editions show, Doctor Trey and I both individually
49:04
will give you our top five wrestler's list from the SRTU era. So from
49:08
twenty and ten to present, Doctor Trey and I will bring you our top
49:13
five wrestlers of all time in the history of SRTU. So that is on
49:16
next week's edition of SRTU. With that said, let's get a couple of
49:20
plugs and sponsored out of the way. You can Downlands show every Thursday at
49:22
Real Thursday or Friday at Real Good Radio dot com. And of course they
49:27
still Real to show iTunes feed, don't forget to rate, review, subscribe
49:30
to help just come the charts on iTunes. You can follow us individually on
49:31
Twitter for myself at SRTU Jeff and for Doctor Trey Franklin at d Doctor Trey
49:36
and of course still fad to follow show on Twitter at SRTU podcast. With
49:39
that being said, was going on in the Wonderful World of Ductor Trey Franklin
49:42
and Sammy Franklin. This week, my friend, well like Sammy, doesn't
49:45
have a Twitter account yet but we're working on it, but he might be
49:49
the first person of our group to get on threads or whatever that thing is
49:52
called. So but you can follow me on Twitter at doctor Trey. You
49:54
can find me on Facebook and Instagram Doctor Trey Franklin. When you're on Facebook,
50:00
I got rockets CID Wrestling. He's had a really big show on July
50:04
first. Next show's coming up July fifteenth. Starting August fifth, we will
50:07
be on Fight TV as well, so some big news from that. Also,
50:13
if if you ever check out the Conrad Thompson add free podcast up,
50:17
you will see rocket City on there. They use our building a couple of
50:21
weeks ago to host their ad free weekend. So Rocket City's own Tiger Kid
50:28
actually won the first ever ad free show championship that was picked by the fans
50:35
of all all CONRADS podcasts. So Rocket City featured very, very prominently on
50:39
the Conrad Thompson podcasting network that we are not on, but by God,
50:45
we probably should get something for us. It'd be nice that would be nice.
50:49
Conrad help but help us out so that we can stay on Twitter.
50:52
I guess all right. So with that being said, until next week for
50:57
the seven hundredth episode of SRTU, we close out the six hundred chapter of
51:02
s r T until next week for not Stray Franklin, For Sammy Franklin.
51:06
I'm Jeff Peck. Thank you for downloading. This is a real show.
52:08
Didn't better better
