- 2:01Speaker 1: to the parties? Are you more of a I cam'p
- 2:04Speaker 1: out look at social media to see what everyone's wearing.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It depends if I have something to wear, and okay,
- 2:11Speaker 2: something to wear, I'll go to the parties for sure.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I love like the vibe. Otherwise, yeah, I mean you
- 2:16Speaker 2: can't really escape all the red carpet photos and what
- 2:19Speaker 2: everyone's wearing and who won and stuff.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Yeah, question for you, Yes.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Have you watched Amelia Perez?
- 2:27Speaker 1: No?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Do you know of it? No, really, no, enlighten me,
- 2:32Speaker 2: have you no anybody in the room? Is that what
- 2:35Speaker 2: it's even called? Okay? Yeah, Selena Gomez's new movie with
- 2:38Speaker 2: Zoe's Hildana.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Oh my god? It won a Golden Globe? Right, am
- 2:43Speaker 1: I correct? Yes?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Oh so now you know?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Now I know?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I haven't seen it, but it's nominated for
- 2:49Speaker 2: like thirteen this year and I heard it was like
- 2:52Speaker 2: insufferable crazy, but I haven't seen it.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Well, okay, Amelia Perez on my watch list?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yes, Selena Gomez?
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yes, well, how could you not love something with Selena Gomez?
- 3:01Speaker 1: But I'm now that you mention that. Yes, I totally
- 3:05Speaker 1: know what you're talking about.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Are you into looking at the fashion moments?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Oh?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah? Are you kidding me? Of course? I feel like
- 3:12Speaker 2: a lot of the time though, I'm very underwhelmed by
- 3:15Speaker 2: what people wear.
- 3:16Speaker 3: What would it take to have you overwhelmed?
- 3:19Speaker 2: But I don't want to be overwhelmed. I want to
- 3:21Speaker 2: be satisfied.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Okay, I love it, Okay, but I don't know.
- 3:25Speaker 3: What's a piece that you loved but could have done more?
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah? Like, what's a red carpet moment that.
- 3:29Speaker 2: You look back on okay of myself both, let's talk
- 3:32Speaker 2: about both. God myself. I'd have to look at Google. Hey,
- 3:35Speaker 2: you know who I think has been really killing it?
- 3:37Speaker 2: We all have to pick somebody, k okay, Demmy Moore.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Oh that's my pack.
- 3:42Speaker 2: You can't steal one.
- 3:44Speaker 1: She's a great one being Yeah, Brad Gretzky, she's like
- 3:48Speaker 1: and she won her first major award at the Golden Globes.
- 3:52Speaker 2: This year for the sub stub Substance.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Something like Substance. I didn't watch. I need to be
- 3:58Speaker 1: better about actually watching the award shows. I kind of
- 4:01Speaker 1: just look at recaps and then go to Vogue or
- 4:04Speaker 1: whatever Instagram page to see ivory. They're very, very long,
- 4:08Speaker 1: too much, you know all YouTube later, like the opening
- 4:12Speaker 1: monologue that the.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Host gave Nicki Glazer. Hey, she's got her on her.
- 4:17Speaker 1: She's so fucking so.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But did you watch the Substance?
- 4:21Speaker 1: No?
- 4:21Speaker 2: I didn't either.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I'm really can I tell you I have a very
- 4:24Speaker 1: short attention span. I like things that are twenty two
- 4:27Speaker 1: minutes long, but I can Here's what's strange, though, is
- 4:30Speaker 1: I could watch an entire season of twenty two minute
- 4:33Speaker 1: long things, but can't watch a movie that's even less
- 4:35Speaker 1: time than that, right, So it doesn't make much sense.
- 4:39Speaker 1: But I'm probably going to go with my my girl
- 4:43Speaker 1: who shows up and always looks incredible Zendea.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Oh that's such a good one because she leaves me satisfied.
- 4:52Speaker 2: That's a good one. It's not she leaves me overstimulated.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Does she served? Oh my god, overserved yet?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Oh? Yes, her dune luck the girl bye, I know,
- 5:03Speaker 2: have you ever met her?
- 5:04Speaker 1: So? I sat next to her at Marmalade Cafe at
- 5:10Speaker 1: the Grove one time.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Marmalade Cafe.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like further down towards the farmer's market, oh
- 5:16Speaker 1: with the yellow awning.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah, she before like she was a somebody, but now
- 5:21Speaker 1: she's like a so buddy, like she's in the category
- 5:24Speaker 1: of a lists. Yes, whereas back then, like I was
- 5:27Speaker 1: still drinking. That shows how long ago it was. Yeah,
- 5:30Speaker 1: because I've been sober six years. That's how I That's
- 5:32Speaker 1: how I put timelines together of when things were surprise
- 5:35Speaker 1: you remember, yeah, you're wild right, it was morning brunch time,
- 5:39Speaker 1: so I'd ordered my first momost just.
- 5:41Speaker 2: A couple of them. Was she giving model in real life?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Because her proportions are like if she wasn't an actress,
- 5:46Speaker 2: she could be a supermodel.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Right, She's very she was very understated, but anybody who
- 5:53Speaker 1: can make the jaw drop to the floor when you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: literally in just like a cute little sweat outfit, and
- 5:58Speaker 1: of course she had like a little crop top on
- 6:00Speaker 1: with she has the most. I know, we're not supposed
- 6:03Speaker 1: to comment on people's bodies in twenty twenty five, and
- 6:05Speaker 1: we haven't been able to or shouldn't in quite a while.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm commenting she's fucking stunning and banging.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Yeah, she has a gorgeous body, Like it's almost like
- 6:14Speaker 2: you drew her. That's what it looks like.
- 6:16Speaker 1: At least unbelievable.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And I feel like she has like a swag about her,
- 6:19Speaker 2: like not necessarily a star power, but like a swag.
- 6:23Speaker 1: She has been a mad swag.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it's not like a feminine soft it's like
- 6:28Speaker 2: a like she could like she's like tall, skinny, yes
- 6:31Speaker 2: you know all that, but like will come for you.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Like she has a confidence. It's like, I get fuck
- 6:35Speaker 2: with me.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I get a little wet when I watched the video
- 6:38Speaker 1: of her, this was like back in the day where
- 6:40Speaker 1: she's like I think rapping a Nicki Minaj song and
- 6:43Speaker 1: she knows it's a really quick verse and she's doing
- 6:46Speaker 1: it in the car and I'm like, okay, I would
- 6:49Speaker 1: for sure fuck you right, Okay, how big of me? Right?
- 6:52Speaker 2: And yeah, oh my god, how brave. And on our
- 6:55Speaker 2: previous episode you said.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You weren't by Okay, Hello, I love you.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I love you too.
- 7:03Speaker 1: So when you're what about yours.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Fashion pig, I love for me.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Eugene Levy, Oh iconic.
- 7:12Speaker 2: He dresses different.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean he has always has a very fit you're
- 7:17Speaker 1: talking about the dad, right, Yeah, like.
- 7:20Speaker 3: The dad he wore, the he had glasses.
- 7:21Speaker 1: He always have phenomenal frames.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and like I'm pretty sure if I wasn't mistaken,
- 7:26Speaker 4: his suit jacket was a little bit dazzled.
- 7:29Speaker 1: He does go for a little. That's what I love
- 7:31Speaker 1: about him is he always has the best fitted suit ever,
- 7:33Speaker 1: and then there's always a little overwhelmed.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Okay, nice.
- 7:36Speaker 4: He does like there's somewhere he always grabs that one
- 7:40Speaker 4: thing that I'm looking for but I can't put my
- 7:42Speaker 4: hand on.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Okay, got it.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Okay, you could wear a be dazzled suit?
- 7:45Speaker 5: I thank you, Okay, all right, I'm doing could both.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, I would love a suit moment good
- 7:53Speaker 2: morning and like slim fit suit moment.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I love. I love a suit on a woman.
- 7:58Speaker 1: There's something Yeah, award season. I love when a woman
- 8:03Speaker 1: brings in Yes, like a masculine chic look.
- 8:07Speaker 3: I do too.
- 8:07Speaker 2: I do too. I like it when it's fitted, because
- 8:11Speaker 2: that's how I would like to wear it, Like, you know,
- 8:13Speaker 2: like you have dress pants like typically mens I think
- 8:16Speaker 2: typically men's are like folded in the milk in the middle. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 2: I love when women wear that. But it's so tight
- 8:23Speaker 2: and you can kind of tell it's like a little stretchy.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know, it's comfortable as shit, but it looks so
- 8:27Speaker 2: form fitting. Yes, I love that.
- 8:30Speaker 1: That's one reason why I think I abort mission on
- 8:34Speaker 1: any invite, which if you're listening to this and you're
- 8:37Speaker 1: thinking of sending me an invite to a fabulous award party, don't.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I'm coming in twenty twenty five. In many ways, day right,
- 8:48Speaker 1: But there is something about like getting the invite and
- 8:51Speaker 1: then the pressure of what you're going to wear. Yeah,
- 8:54Speaker 1: because a lot of these rooms that you show up in.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I remember going to the Vanity Fair party and being
- 8:59Speaker 1: so in intimidated and I was sober at this point,
- 9:02Speaker 1: so you didn't have this social lubricant where it's like
- 9:04Speaker 1: it kind of brings a little bit of confidence as well.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I was just very aware of who everyone was and
- 9:10Speaker 1: what everyone was wearing, and very sober and intimidated. So
- 9:15Speaker 1: that's one reason why I somewhat abort mission last minute
- 9:19Speaker 1: on any sort of event.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Uh huh do you ever?
- 9:22Speaker 1: Is your confidence just so high level that you don't
- 9:26Speaker 1: you dress for you or do you take into account
- 9:31Speaker 1: like there's gonna be people who are in fabulous gowns
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I have to make sure that I look top tier.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I mean, I always want to look my best for
- 9:40Speaker 2: you though auvi. Yeah okay, I love this. Yeah yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 2: yeah for sure. But you know what, sometimes it doesn't
- 9:46Speaker 2: hit like in person. I mean we've been to tons
- 9:49Speaker 2: of events. It's like you're there, you're having fun, you've
- 9:52Speaker 2: seen the person did it. You're like, oh my god,
- 9:53Speaker 2: they look so fucking amazing. And then the next day
- 9:56Speaker 2: you see like the rollout of photos or whatever, and
- 9:58Speaker 2: you were.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Like, she looked amazing translate why does.
- 10:02Speaker 2: That not look great on a photo? So yeah, it's
- 10:05Speaker 2: just whatever you feel good in. But also I'm very
- 10:09Speaker 2: I very much lean into the fact, like if you're
- 10:11Speaker 2: not in like a little bit of pain, like in
- 10:14Speaker 2: your outfit, especially for like a big thing, then it's
- 10:16Speaker 2: really not worth it.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I agree with you. Yeah, I feel like my head
- 10:23Speaker 1: also needs to hurt just a tad, like I need
- 10:26Speaker 1: to have just a little too much makeup on, I
- 10:28Speaker 1: need to have just a little too much hair.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm comfortable. We're all comfortable all the time totally.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So it's like if we're going to step out and
- 10:36Speaker 2: be like plucked and you know, put all this shit in,
- 10:39Speaker 2: it's like, let's just be uncomfortable, a little bit uncomfortable
- 10:42Speaker 2: for a few hours' worth it.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, and you feel like you got to work out
- 10:46Speaker 1: in kind of totally.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Oh my god. That's literally half the reason why I
- 10:49Speaker 2: wear these shoes all the time. I'm like, I'm doing
- 10:51Speaker 2: a podcast, my feet aren't shown, but I will be
- 10:53Speaker 2: walking around. I will be you know, exercising my.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Cast like workout.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It is totally.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I love grocery store products, but then there are other
- 11:03Speaker 1: products that I have, Like if I'm prepping to either
- 11:06Speaker 1: go be on camera or going to any event where
- 11:10Speaker 1: I need the skin pop in. What is your most
- 11:13Speaker 1: favorite product that you would get from a grocery store
- 11:15Speaker 1: that you're like, I can't live without this, and it's
- 11:18Speaker 1: for everybody.
- 11:18Speaker 2: You could get it at Target if you wanted. I
- 11:21Speaker 2: would say, I mean, there's so many different categories. But
- 11:24Speaker 2: I would say Lorel voluminous mascara.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Okay, is that the black one with the gold lid?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, they make it gray black.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yes, that one never steers me wrong. Never. I obviously
- 11:37Speaker 2: don't have it on today, but never leaves like lashes
- 11:40Speaker 2: on right now. Yeah, just on the top, like the
- 11:42Speaker 2: outer because they look very natural. Yeah, they're so thin.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, you're very pretty.
- 11:46Speaker 2: All I had, but yeah, the voluminous like murders because
- 11:50Speaker 2: I have really long bottom lashes, so if I sweat
- 11:52Speaker 2: or get hot at all, it leaves like little dotss
- 11:56Speaker 2: And this one like never does and it like it
- 11:59Speaker 2: is the best scara ever.
- 12:01Speaker 1: What is your well for me? I would say, I
- 12:05Speaker 1: love the mascaret grocery store mascara. I've spent mad money
- 12:08Speaker 1: on mascara, and I'm like, this is so stupid. It's
- 12:11Speaker 1: like it's crusty, dusty, it leaves the lines or like flakes.
- 12:15Speaker 1: But I would say my favorite grocery store product is
- 12:19Speaker 1: you have to have the ZiT patches. Oh, you can
- 12:22Speaker 1: literally just get at Target or Ralph's. And I love
- 12:27Speaker 1: a good castor oil that you could get at the
- 12:29Speaker 1: grocery store.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Oh, I need to get into that. That's for like
- 12:33Speaker 2: hair growth, right.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You could put it your hair, your stomach, your stomach,
- 12:37Speaker 1: you could put it everywhere. I put it on my
- 12:39Speaker 1: face before bed. It is so thick. But also it
- 12:44Speaker 1: kickstarts labor. Like any doula will tell you if you're
- 12:48Speaker 1: past your due date to drink cast or oil.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You drink it.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I've never done this, but I have a friend who's
- 12:54Speaker 1: done it, and she went into labor two hours later drinking.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It, absorb it. I thought it was like a topical thing.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You put it, you can put it in like orange juice.
- 13:05Speaker 1: It's very thick, okay and disgusting and I would rather
- 13:09Speaker 1: be induced. But for topical highly recommend. That's like my
- 13:14Speaker 1: go to as far as spending money on a product.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And I'm probably saying this wrong. Loch lochu Tans you
- 13:25Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Yan, Yeah, l Apostrophe.
- 13:28Speaker 1: They have an almond body oil that is love body oil.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So and you do it in the shower though, jeej,
- 13:37Speaker 1: what do.
- 13:37Speaker 2: You do when you get out? Though?
- 13:38Speaker 1: I've never understood that, so it almost I do a
- 13:41Speaker 1: little pat dry, which I pat dry anyway because I
- 13:44Speaker 1: don't want gravity and the pulling of the towel on
- 13:47Speaker 1: my skin to make things hurry up with the sagging.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I got it.
- 13:51Speaker 1: It is so good. How much is it?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Twenty nine at alta?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Really?
- 13:57Speaker 2: Maybe this is the tiny bottle be small shower oil
- 14:02Speaker 2: twenty nine dollars. Yeah, that's not bad for the two
- 14:05Speaker 2: hundred and fifty mili liter though, that's like a minute made.
- 14:08Speaker 2: That's like tiny.
- 14:08Speaker 1: It is small, right, yeah? How I get the bigger though?
- 14:11Speaker 1: It takes me a minute? So I got my the
- 14:14Speaker 1: last one when I moved into the Sherman Oaks house
- 14:17Speaker 1: and we've been there almost a year. I literally just
- 14:20Speaker 1: went through the So we're gonna.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Had twenty four ounce right?
- 14:23Speaker 2: It was two hundred and fifty mili liters two.
- 14:25Speaker 3: Hundred and fifty mil.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean just try it out, Oh twenty eight bucks.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You know you don't like it, you don't feel like
- 14:32Speaker 1: you just you know, broke the babe.
- 14:34Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Makeup tips if you're looking for a more feminine like
- 14:41Speaker 1: you want to create the illusion that you had the
- 14:43Speaker 1: most impeccable notes job. Ever, what is your go to contour?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Are you a powder girl or are you a cream girl?
- 14:51Speaker 2: I'm powder. I like, don't really fuck with my nose.
- 14:54Speaker 2: I'll just like throw bronzer that I've put around my face,
- 14:57Speaker 2: like on my nose. Okay, I'm not like in there
- 15:00Speaker 2: unless it's doing my makeup. Yeah, I'm not really like
- 15:03Speaker 2: sculpting all of it. I just kind of like throw it.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Do you contour the cheeks, yeah, I'll like throw it
- 15:08Speaker 1: forehead No, I'm a big forehead, So I like, I
- 15:12Speaker 1: don't like to bring this down because my jaw on
- 15:14Speaker 1: my chin.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It's like all about that.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Where did you learn the makeup tips? Did you just
- 15:20Speaker 1: learn it on all self?
- 15:21Speaker 3: Talking? Feel like that's I think so too. Trial and error,
- 15:24Speaker 3: trial and error.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Do you get your glam done or do you prefer
- 15:28Speaker 1: doing it yourself?
- 15:29Speaker 2: I love doing it myself. I feel like it's like
- 15:30Speaker 2: my meditation.
- 15:32Speaker 1: It is kind of like you're it's very therapeutic and
- 15:34Speaker 1: like you're painting a canvas.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Because the worst thing ever is when you have
- 15:39Speaker 2: somebody over and they require attention because my social battery
- 15:43Speaker 2: is at one hundred when I start right, So if
- 15:46Speaker 2: I'm entertaining someone while they're glaming me, it drains, it drains,
- 15:51Speaker 2: it drains it where it's like I could be filling
- 15:53Speaker 2: up my battery by myself doing my own makeup before
- 15:56Speaker 2: I go out. So if I'm yeah, it just thinks
- 16:00Speaker 2: people require more attention.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So if you yeah, no, I I get social hangovers.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Yeah I do too. I'm like, leave me alone, like
- 16:10Speaker 2: love people, but like I need to be alone.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, Like if I if I go out, I know
- 16:16Speaker 1: that the next day I'm going to require a day
- 16:19Speaker 1: of very little interaction. Yes, And it has nothing to
- 16:22Speaker 1: do with the people I'm with. I love the people
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm with. It's just how I how I am. So
- 16:26Speaker 1: I get that your social battery is being used while
- 16:29Speaker 1: you're being glammed.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Would you rather have someone come to do your makeup
- 16:32Speaker 1: or your hair?
- 16:33Speaker 2: Hair? Always hair?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Always hair? Yeah, because the blow dryer is going, we
- 16:37Speaker 2: can't talk.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You are so on my level. I love that part.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I've never had somebody and I'm very non confrontational, like
- 16:49Speaker 2: I will not like if somebody does my makeup, I'm like, oh,
- 16:51Speaker 2: that's amazing, like so good, you're dying love, and then
- 16:55Speaker 2: like they'll.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Leave and I'll have to fix it, fix it.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Whereas hair, I'm kind of the same way, but
- 17:00Speaker 2: I've never met somebody makeup wise where I'm like this
- 17:02Speaker 2: is perfect, Like this is like exactly how I want
- 17:05Speaker 2: it done. Hair, I'm like, yeah, you killed it close.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I feel the same way about makeup and hair or
- 17:12Speaker 1: just yeah that every I feel like every time I
- 17:15Speaker 1: get my makeup done, I just there's something where I'm like,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I just don't feel like myself. Yeah, there's something that's
- 17:22Speaker 1: not hitting. I'm looking a little tired, I'm looking a
- 17:25Speaker 1: little old.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just not the same, right. And I like
- 17:29Speaker 2: painting for camera, so like if you know it's they're like, oh,
- 17:34Speaker 2: let's do glowy skin today, or like let's do like
- 17:37Speaker 2: I'm like, it's just not going to hit.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Like it's not going to translate on camera.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not going to be there when the cameras
- 17:42Speaker 2: are on, So like it's just I'm gonna have to
- 17:44Speaker 2: fix it right now.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There are the amount of times that I've gotten my
- 17:48Speaker 1: makeup done and it's like we have to be in
- 17:50Speaker 1: the car in five minutes, and I'm looking at myself going,
- 17:52Speaker 1: oh no, this is bad.
- 17:53Speaker 2: No hate, yes, And then you're not yourself because you're
- 17:56Speaker 2: not comfortable, and then you could have just done it
- 17:59Speaker 2: yourself and amazing exactly, and then your personality shines because
- 18:03Speaker 2: if you're like dimming your shine because of how you look,
- 18:05Speaker 2: nobody even really cares about your makeup. But if you
- 18:08Speaker 2: like don't feel one hundred percent within yourself, yeah, then
- 18:11Speaker 2: it translates and people can like read.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That right, Like you sit there and you're like, I
- 18:15Speaker 1: don't even know what I'm doing because I'm fixated on
- 18:18Speaker 1: the fact that I don't like my face right now.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:21Speaker 1: And there's so many times because I love a lot
- 18:25Speaker 1: of makeup, Yeah, but for it to look like I'm
- 18:27Speaker 1: not in a lot of makeup.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, that's your vibe. You like the white eyeliner, right,
- 18:31Speaker 2: uh huh.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I love a good like because I can get kind
- 18:34Speaker 1: of like drunk puppet looking if I put when I
- 18:37Speaker 1: put the lashes on. So to do the white liner
- 18:40Speaker 1: on the on your water line, yeah, just kind of
- 18:43Speaker 1: like brightens you up a bit.
- 18:44Speaker 2: What's your fave My fave white eyeliner.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Is it nix nyx.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Oh, that one's really good.
- 18:51Speaker 1: That one goes on very smoothly, because a white eyeliner
- 18:54Speaker 1: is hard to conquer when it comes to the consistency.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Sometimes it can kind of be cranny.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and it won't it'll blink off.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, this one stays.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Yeah. I like that one a lot too. There's I
- 19:07Speaker 2: think it's like House Labs makes another really good one.
- 19:10Speaker 2: It's a bright, bright nude.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Is that Lady Gaga's brand?
- 19:12Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, I love her shit. But
- 19:14Speaker 2: it's not white. It's not stark paper. Why it's a
- 19:17Speaker 2: bright ass peach nude.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Oh.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I like that, And it looks really good and you
- 19:21Speaker 2: put it on once I would, right, especially if you're
- 19:26Speaker 2: like spray tand or have a lot of bronzer on.
- 19:28Speaker 2: The white can look a little shocking totally, but the
- 19:30Speaker 2: peach hits the same. I wish I had it today.
- 19:33Speaker 2: But yeah, you put it on, Wait thirty seconds, do
- 19:35Speaker 2: another layer. It is like bulletproof.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Oh, I'm getting it. Yeah, I'm totally getting it.
- 19:40Speaker 2: It might be makeup forever, but it probably is House Labs.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, Lady Gaga never fucks anything up. No, so
- 19:46Speaker 1: I trust it.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Yeah she takes make up for the stage.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Oh of course she does. Yeah, it's like shlack. Yes,
- 19:52Speaker 1: how do you feel about a wing liner? Are we
- 19:55Speaker 1: still into it? Because I can't give it up? So
- 19:57Speaker 1: I hope you say, yes.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I got over it. I got over it all right.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm never doing it again.
- 20:02Speaker 4: There is I I I like no wing anymore.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah? Wow?
- 20:09Speaker 3: How like because wings came in when I was in
- 20:12Speaker 3: like high school.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Fuck you think that? What about a mini I'm around wing?
- 20:18Speaker 1: But a mini wing? All right?
- 20:19Speaker 2: Split the differ, not even a mini like a quarter,
- 20:22Speaker 2: like a just the edge, which is what you do.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't really do sometimes when I fuck it
- 20:27Speaker 1: up though, because it's really hard to get them even. Yeah,
- 20:29Speaker 1: you're going, I'm just like, we're taking it to the
- 20:31Speaker 1: eyebrow because I'm not taking it.
- 20:33Speaker 2: That's why I'm over it. And then you look at
- 20:35Speaker 2: your makeup. You're like, I'm the wing is wearing me,
- 20:39Speaker 2: but the wing I put the wing put me on.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And then it's like you can't go back, whereas where
- 20:45Speaker 2: there's none, it's like you can't really right, And I
- 20:47Speaker 2: like that look, yeah, I look it's a cleaner it's clean.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I have a wing on.
- 20:52Speaker 3: I'm just kidding.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I was like, you certainly don't know.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't. I can't, I can't do it anymore.
- 20:57Speaker 1: But the makeup trends similar to like the fashion trends there.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I live under a rock, so to see them come
- 21:03Speaker 1: and go so quickly, and then as someone who doesn't,
- 21:05Speaker 1: who lives under rock and then doesn't like change, it's
- 21:08Speaker 1: very it's very a lot.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Well, it's like it's like like to compare it to somebody,
- 21:15Speaker 2: to bring it back to like the red carpet of
- 21:16Speaker 2: it all. The Jennifer Aniston red carpet look, same blowout
- 21:21Speaker 2: for years, you know, same kind of dressed silhouette. If
- 21:23Speaker 2: you really look, she's not fucking with makeup, eyeshadow colors
- 21:26Speaker 2: and everything. The Jennifer I was gonna say, jay Loo
- 21:29Speaker 2: Jlo fucks with everything. Yeah, she's completely iconic. Jennifer Aniston
- 21:33Speaker 2: really has stuck true to just what works for her.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Don't fix it exactly exactly good.
- 21:39Speaker 1: She looks so good.
- 21:40Speaker 2: And what I hate too about all the trends. It's like,
- 21:42Speaker 2: do you remember, like, oh, clean girl aesthetic, mob girl aesthetic. Yes,
- 21:47Speaker 2: It's like, what are we talking about like what are
- 21:51Speaker 2: these like, we're just renaming, Like if you wear eyelashes
- 21:55Speaker 2: in a fur jacket, we don't need to call it
- 21:56Speaker 2: something else. You know, it's just makeup style, like you know,
- 22:01Speaker 2: cold girl aesthetic. It's like, oh, you put on a
- 22:04Speaker 2: lot of blush like it's fine, but I just hate
- 22:07Speaker 2: the trends of it all.
- 22:08Speaker 3: I think I do.
- 22:10Speaker 1: There was an esthetic called cold girl aesthetic, and that
- 22:13Speaker 1: meant a lot of blush.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I think so. I think it was like a lot
- 22:15Speaker 2: of blush, like all over your like as if you
- 22:18Speaker 2: were like cold.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I mean, oh, so like this is just white?
- 22:22Speaker 2: No no, no, it was like red like rosy, like
- 22:25Speaker 2: you're cold, like you've been out like claws. Yes, yes,
- 22:29Speaker 2: Oh I don't like that look.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 1: How do you feel about the fake freckles?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Oh?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Love?
- 22:34Speaker 1: So cute?
- 22:36Speaker 2: So cute?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Okay, can I bounce on here?
- 22:39Speaker 5: I love the look, but some women need to tone
- 22:42Speaker 5: it down like they do too much.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Yes, like it.
- 22:45Speaker 4: It could have been cute because it is so faint,
- 22:49Speaker 4: but you've made it now look like you're a fucking Dalmatian.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Like you're on comic con.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Know what I'm looking at.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Unpopular opinion, but I like it.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Hate it really, I could see you love hate it.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And here's why. Yeah, as a child, I was covered
- 23:03Speaker 1: in freckles. And the moment that I got older and
- 23:06Speaker 1: they started to fade and I could put makeup on,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I was like, this is the best day of my life.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And now everyone's like, let's put freckles on.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I'm like, no, day, Oh my god, I can't believe
- 23:16Speaker 2: you are redhead.
- 23:18Speaker 3: No, we were a very We were both very freckly.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I still am. If you can't at all, I.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Can tell no. Well, actually, yeah, a little bit out.
- 23:28Speaker 1: All through here.
- 23:29Speaker 2: That's pretty.
- 23:30Speaker 1: No. Do you think you want what you exactly?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 23:34Speaker 1: No, truly, yeah, exactly. Cause then there are some girls
- 23:37Speaker 1: who do it and I'm like, okay, I could understand,
- 23:39Speaker 1: but like, don't touch me with a freckle.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it's when it's natural and pretty.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Don't touch me with that fucking watermaker. Do you prefer
- 23:50Speaker 1: a gloss or a Matt?
- 23:52Speaker 2: Look Matt. If my hair is down, I'm going glossy.
- 23:58Speaker 2: If my hair is up, I like all around.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Dude, that's interesting. What do you not like about the Matt?
- 24:04Speaker 5: I don't know, boss sexier yeah, I think glossy just
- 24:06Speaker 5: I don't know. I feel like less makeup be Yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 5: like the the mat is more of like I want
- 24:13Speaker 5: to say, like a movie or like a music video.
- 24:19Speaker 5: Is No, that is more like movie and like videotage
- 24:24Speaker 5: like Broadway all of that.
- 24:27Speaker 1: It is that red like Mimi lips, like Revlong.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I just walk in and all I would see was
- 24:37Speaker 4: red lips at Mimi's house.
- 24:39Speaker 1: That's our grandmother.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I love her for that.
- 24:42Speaker 1: But she used to put it next to her bedside table,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you guys, because her she liked her coffee scalding hot
- 24:49Speaker 1: in the cup, so she would put on like layers
- 24:52Speaker 1: upon layers so she could drink it and not burn
- 24:54Speaker 1: her lips. She was fabulous.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I love her.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Had your shade of red nails at all times on
- 25:00Speaker 1: her lips and on her limon that and that's.
- 25:03Speaker 2: What she wants yep, Like that's.
- 25:05Speaker 3: The wonde hair.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, that's fabulous.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Obsessed old Hollywood love.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Before I release you into Beverly Hills for dinner with
- 25:13Speaker 1: your front, Yeah, what is one makeup trend you wish
- 25:17Speaker 1: that you had learned earlier that you learned later And
- 25:20Speaker 1: you're like, fuck, could have saved so many photos.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Oh God, makeup trend?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Like, what's a tip? Doesn't even have to be a trend.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm like, let me look at my face, now,
- 25:31Speaker 2: did I do it? Maybe the liner thing, I would.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Say, the wet line.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the to the too much liquid liner? Okay, because
- 25:40Speaker 2: me I don't have hooded eyes.
- 25:42Speaker 1: But no, you've got some.
- 25:43Speaker 2: You've got some, thank.
- 25:45Speaker 3: You, because minor hooded and I hate them.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Yours aren't hooded, it's what you say. Yours are less
- 25:49Speaker 2: Yours are more hooded than hers. Yeah, but I feel
- 25:52Speaker 2: like we all have like a little lid space when
- 25:54Speaker 2: you look forward, but if you do too much liquid eyeliner,
- 25:57Speaker 2: it will close your eye off. And I feel like
- 26:00Speaker 2: that's like something that I've learned. I look back on photos,
- 26:03Speaker 2: I'm like, why do I have so much black around
- 26:05Speaker 2: my eye?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Like, okay, so that's what you wish you wouldn't have
- 26:07Speaker 1: been doing, You wish you would have been.
- 26:09Speaker 2: So it's like, let me get that perfect liquid liner today.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Because I think that I'm Adele on the recover.
- 26:16Speaker 2: She is liquid eye liner.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You find a Dell, but like truly though, she.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Definitely has to be like top ten people liquid Amy
- 26:26Speaker 2: Winehouse Adele.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Like those two. That's it. That's all I can think of,
- 26:31Speaker 1: besides myself being like I cannot let it go, but
- 26:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna start. I'll start letting it go.
- 26:36Speaker 2: What about you?
- 26:37Speaker 1: I would say that mine would be before I got
- 26:40Speaker 1: my lips injected. I wish I would have conquered the
- 26:43Speaker 1: art of overlining my lips with liner. Uh huh.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Did you ever lip liner before, like the past, I
- 26:50Speaker 2: don't know. A few years I didn't. I would just
- 26:53Speaker 2: do full on Mac lipstick and that's.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It, you and me both, and it was like you
- 26:58Speaker 1: wanted that kind of like found foundation. Look, do you
- 27:01Speaker 1: remember that myth?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Mac cosmetics?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Myth?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Do you know the names of Mac cosmetics or no?
- 27:05Speaker 1: I knew, Like the one that I loved was ample
- 27:08Speaker 1: Pink that they discontinued and it was the most fabulous
- 27:12Speaker 1: gloss on the planet.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 27:15Speaker 1: And then there was like a blush that I really
- 27:17Speaker 1: liked that was like a purple hue. But I can't remember. No,
- 27:21Speaker 1: if you said it, I will know. But the lipstick
- 27:24Speaker 1: that you just said.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, myth, Yes, that's concealer basically like it was like
- 27:29Speaker 2: our skin color.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yes, but that was in when I was in junior high.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I had no lips. Yes, there's one thing, uh huh
- 27:36Speaker 1: that was very in. It was, but you do that
- 27:38Speaker 1: before you overline. Yep, you guys, Happy Awards season. I
- 27:42Speaker 1: hope you enjoyed this episode of the Bonus. Give them
- 27:44Speaker 1: a La pod. I will catch you guys on Wednesday
