  Speaker 1: saying Happy New Year. It's ten days in. I think

  Speaker 1: least the tenth. After the tenth you ain't saying Happy

  Speaker 1: New Year. We were in it now. I think everybody should,

  Speaker 1: off with two things. Gratitude and determination. I mean, you've

  Speaker 1: got to be grateful. I mean, when you look at

  Speaker 1: this number, twenty twenty five, that's a big number man.

  Speaker 1: And the older you are, the bigger, the bigger you

  Speaker 1: realize this number is. I mean, if you'd have told

  Speaker 1: me in nineteen sixty five that I would be living

  Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five, that was unthinkable for me. Now

  Speaker 1: I was a little boy back then. Twenty twenty five,

  Speaker 1: what are you talking about? In the year nineteen ninety nine,

  Speaker 1: Remember when all of that was going on, people was

  Speaker 1: predicting the end of the world. In two thousand, I

  Speaker 1: went out and bought a generator, just in case somebody

  Speaker 1: flipped the switch and cut the power off. You know,

  Speaker 1: I went and got me a generator, getting ready, and

  Speaker 1: nothing happened and all that that. That was twenty five

  Speaker 1: years ago. As I'm going into twenty twenty five, I'm

  Speaker 1: going in with two things. First of all, gratitude. I'm

  Speaker 1: just grateful to God let me live. I can't believe
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: He has let me live this long. I can't believe
• 1:48
  Speaker 1: He has blessed me with the amount of health that
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: I have, the amount of the will that I have,
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: the ability to think rationally, to speak, to talk, whatever
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: measure of health you you should be healthy. I mean
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: you should be grateful. Now. I know some of us
• 2:03
  Speaker 1: are not as healthy as we like to be, but man,
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: you still hear. But on top this gratitude is the

  Speaker 1: way that you get more things given to you. Do

  Speaker 1: you know? And you have to understand this. The more

  Speaker 1: grateful you are, the more grateful, the more grateful you are,

  Speaker 1: the more things God will give you to be grateful for.

  Speaker 1: The more gratitude you show, the more things He will
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: give you to show gratitude about. The more times you

  Speaker 1: say thank you, the more stuff He will give you

  Speaker 1: to be thankful for. I'm trying to get you to

  Speaker 1: understand it, however, I need to say it to you.

  Speaker 1: But the more giving of gratitude you do in twenty

  Speaker 1: twenty five, the more things He will do for you

  Speaker 1: to be grateful. Because what God is, He's a just God.

  Speaker 1: God understands that if you are complaining about what you

  Speaker 1: have right now, why would he give you some more?

  Speaker 1: Let me just think about it. That's fair, ain't it?

  Speaker 1: Ain't that fair? If I've given you this and you're

  Speaker 1: complaining about this, why would I give you more when

  Speaker 1: this has caused you nothing but misery to complain about?

  Speaker 1: You know, some people, man, you complain yourself out of

  Speaker 1: a blessing. You gotta stop that. In twenty twenty five,

  Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm still living in this house. Whoa whoa, whoa,

  Speaker 1: whoa whoah. Back up a little bit. How about you?

  Speaker 1: You can't believe you still living? And how can't how

  Speaker 1: God gave you? Remember that was a time when you

  Speaker 1: asked him for that house. Do you remember that. You know. See,

  Speaker 1: sometimes man, we get stuck because we get stuck in

  Speaker 1: the gratitude phase. Remember when you ask God for that car,

  Speaker 1: and now that car has gotten old. You see, you

  Speaker 1: stop being grateful for the car. So now since you

  Speaker 1: ain't grateful for that car, why would God give you

  Speaker 1: another car? To understand, sometimes we get stuck in our

  Speaker 1: gratitude and we can't move forward because we don't have

  Speaker 1: no gratitude. You remember when you needed a place to

  Speaker 1: stay and God gave it to you. It may not
• 4:10
  Speaker 1: be ultimately what you wanted, but I remember when you
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: just wanted that apartment. I mean, when you just wanted
• 4:15
  Speaker 1: to get in somewhere and you got in it. Now
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: you're complaining about it, Well, now he's just going wold.

  Speaker 1: Every time I give you something you asked me for,

  Speaker 1: you end up complaining about it. So let me stop

  Speaker 1: giving you stuff. Don't you understand You've got to get
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: more gratitude. The second thing I'm going into twenty twenty

  Speaker 1: five with is determination. I am determined. I am determined
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: to do God's will. I am determined to be a
• 4:44
  Speaker 1: better person. I am determined to allow God more purpose
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: in my life. I am determined to ask God more
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: and more to order my stelf. I am determined to
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: ask God what is his will in my life? You

  Speaker 1: know how many plans I've made that God allowed me
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: to make because he gives us the power choice, but
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: they weren't really what he wanted me to do. But

  Speaker 1: since he created us and he gave us the power choice,
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: you know, we get that decision right. And how many
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: times He's had allowed these choices I've made to go
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: down the path I chose to go down, and then
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: he had to show me along in the way that
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: ain't what I want you to do. So this year,

  Speaker 1: I'm more determined to find out His will for me.

  Speaker 1: So I have plans, I have aspirations, I have things

  Speaker 1: that I've set up that I want to accomplish, but
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: I'm also asking God to make sure that this is
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: aligned with your will. And if it ain't for me,
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: he didn't show me quickly that it's not for me. No,
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: let me do like I've been doing. Let me go
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: down this Donnybrook path for a year and a half
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: to discover that ain't the path you wanted me on,
• 5:50
  Speaker 1: because let me stop doing what I want to do
• 5:53
  Speaker 1: all the time, and I'm just more determined to submit
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: to God's will in my life. So that's my plan

  Speaker 1: for this this year in twenty twenty five. I'm in

  Speaker 1: twenty twenty five with more gratitude, and I'm walking in
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: with a whole lot more determination. Now my wheel power

  Speaker 1: is strong. I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm not

  Speaker 1: gonna lie to you. I I just believe that God
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: got me on the course, and I'm determined to get that.

  Speaker 1: And no amount of haters it's gonna shake me off
• 6:20
  Speaker 1: course this year. Hate if you won't, hate if you will.

  Speaker 1: When you hit through, I'm in God's hands. So I

  Speaker 1: invite y'all to do the same. More gratitude, more determination,

  Speaker 1: y'all have yourself great expect even with the downfalls. And
