Lansing Parks is mobilizing crews to clean up not just the main park but neighborhood spots too, while reminding residents to safely dispose of leftover fireworks at home by soaking them in water first. Michigan’s legal fireworks window—11 AM to 11:45 PM, June 29–July 5—has officially closed, and breaking the law can cost you up to $1,000.
