- 0:51Speaker 1: the latest and greatest of all Withdrew with Porsche. So
- 0:54Speaker 1: those of you know, January is also Human Trafficking Awareness Month,
- 0:59Speaker 1: and recently I took a trip to Minneapolis. We won't
- 1:03Speaker 1: get into that today, but when I was in the airport,
- 1:07Speaker 1: I noticed that the restrooms now have a pamphlet that
- 1:12Speaker 1: kind of gives you signs to recognize for if somebody
- 1:17Speaker 1: is being human trafficked and how you can alert airport
- 1:21Speaker 1: staff if you recognize something. And I often think about
- 1:26Speaker 1: how far we still need to go when it comes
- 1:29Speaker 1: to recognizing when individuals are being human trafficked and how
- 1:34Speaker 1: we can bring more of them home. So today I
- 1:37Speaker 1: have the honor of being joined by a mother of
- 1:40Speaker 1: a daughter who was human trafficked, who was able to
- 1:44Speaker 1: make it back home safely, and she's going to share
- 1:48Speaker 1: with us today her journey, along with things that we
- 1:52Speaker 1: can look out for in the new year, and also
- 1:56Speaker 1: some maybe misconceptions around human trafficking. Welcome to grew Portia,
- 2:01Speaker 1: MS Monica Esivist. First of all to shout out to
- 2:05Speaker 1: Lisa Counsel for the introduction. So Monica, welcome to the show.
- 2:08Speaker 1: How are you today?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Thank you good, Thank you for for inviting me to
- 2:14Speaker 2: your show. It's a pleasure and it's very very nice,
- 2:19Speaker 2: very much.
- 2:21Speaker 1: You know, the honors all mine, Monica. I know we've
- 2:23Speaker 1: been connected for a while and I remember the Facebook
- 2:28Speaker 1: post that you made when Brianna was found, and so Monica,
- 2:33Speaker 1: for our audience who's tuning in, can you walk us
- 2:36Speaker 1: through kind of that journey from when Brianna went missing
- 2:41Speaker 1: and what was the turning point that brought her home.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Memorial weekend of twenty twenty two, my daughter went to
- 2:48Speaker 2: New York. She she's she met some people. I thought
- 2:52Speaker 2: it was friends from rack he in DC. I can't
- 2:56Speaker 2: remember the Bending Road. Bending Road. They told me they
- 2:59Speaker 2: were gonna come back Tuesday. Then they hit New York.
- 3:03Speaker 2: They got there and she was like, oh, mom, they
- 3:07Speaker 2: they are buying me gibs. You know, they're buying me clothes.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Because I was asking her, I'm sorry, what clothes you're
- 3:14Speaker 2: gonna take? You need to come home and you know,
- 3:17Speaker 2: if you're gonna go with the friends, and I need,
- 3:18Speaker 2: I need to talk to them. So they put them
- 3:20Speaker 2: on the phone to talk to me, and I'm thinking, okay,
- 3:23Speaker 2: So they said no, no, they got everything for me.
- 3:26Speaker 2: So I still wasn't clickly by her being old enough,
- 3:29Speaker 2: I let her go. So he comes. You know, Tom
- 3:34Speaker 2: was running and running and running and she wasn't coming.
- 3:37Speaker 2: They will send me pictures of her, just to see
- 3:39Speaker 2: that she was okay. The numbers, you know, they will
- 3:42Speaker 2: call me, I will talk to her and everything. And
- 3:46Speaker 2: it just kept on going and going and going and going,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and I'm like, something is not right. And the last
- 3:54Speaker 2: just to make it quick. The last that I heard
- 3:57Speaker 2: from her was two days after her birth, July twenty
- 4:01Speaker 2: nine of twenty twenty two. Yeah, July twenty nine, twenty
- 4:05Speaker 2: twenty two. After that, I didn't hear for her from
- 4:08Speaker 2: her at all. We ain't know nothing. We didn't say pictures.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I was all in, all in you know, social media.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I mean it was at that time. I was in
- 4:19Speaker 2: a dark place because I have her son. She has
- 4:21Speaker 2: a little boy too. Well now he's eight, but at
- 4:23Speaker 2: the time she was five or six. And you know,
- 4:26Speaker 2: we we called the Black and Misin Foundation, all of
- 4:30Speaker 2: you guys stepped in to post, you know, her fly
- 4:34Speaker 2: around social media. And the police did not want the police.
- 4:38Speaker 2: They say, oh, they probably just went with her boyfriend.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Let me tell you that they do not help. I
- 4:44Speaker 2: went from I went from Fairfirst County to d C.
- 4:48Speaker 2: D C. They took her as critical. I went to well,
- 4:51Speaker 2: we didn't go to New York. We tried to get
- 4:53Speaker 2: to New York. They say, oh, we have a lot
- 4:55Speaker 2: of missing peoples. It happens. Police did not want nothing
- 4:59Speaker 2: to do with it. And if very sad. So the
- 5:01Speaker 2: Black and Missing Foundation stepped in to help and just
- 5:05Speaker 2: to say that Brianna was. They were taking her from
- 5:08Speaker 2: hotel to hotel by her faces. They would she did
- 5:14Speaker 2: tell me now that she was home. She made a
- 5:16Speaker 2: lot of rappers just to say that. So I was
- 5:18Speaker 2: like they went party to party disc context. They would
- 5:22Speaker 2: drug her up a lot. I mean they would give
- 5:25Speaker 2: her a lot of drugs. And I'm talking about the
- 5:28Speaker 2: bad drugs, you know, the high high level drugs. So
- 5:32Speaker 2: her body has taken so much that you know, they
- 5:37Speaker 2: were even taking they were even planning to take her
- 5:42Speaker 2: from here to that's Vegas, from Vegas overseas. That was
- 5:47Speaker 2: the plan. That's how they do it. That's the thing
- 5:50Speaker 2: they take them. And that's why a lot of missing
- 5:53Speaker 2: people you don't find them because there's in other countries.
- 5:57Speaker 2: They tell them, you know, they say, okay, this is young,
- 6:00Speaker 2: let me take it. So then then she was saying
- 6:03Speaker 2: that sometimes they will take her hotels with other girls.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Sometimes she had to sleep at night. They will beat
- 6:10Speaker 2: her up if she didn't do this, she didn't do that,
- 6:13Speaker 2: you know, they will, they will put her outside, they
- 6:16Speaker 2: will not feed her and everything. I mean, she she
- 6:19Speaker 2: she didn't do a lot. But you know, my pastor,
- 6:22Speaker 2: I will say that prayer I think God did all
- 6:25Speaker 2: this because a pastor did put out on prayer and
- 6:28Speaker 2: with a Black Mason foundation with social media. But they
- 6:31Speaker 2: found her in New York as American person that saw
- 6:35Speaker 2: her flyer and they found her and they put her
- 6:39Speaker 2: on a cab No, not a cab, uh what do
- 6:42Speaker 2: you call it? An uber from way over there to here,
- 6:46Speaker 2: and they're like, we found your daughter. Were sending her.
- 6:48Speaker 2: They didn't send it to the police now, but just
- 6:50Speaker 2: to say that when when they called me, I was
- 6:54Speaker 2: at church. I was like happy. But after the thing
- 7:01Speaker 2: with the thing is my daughter was coming home. They
- 7:05Speaker 2: found her. But that was not my daughter. It was Brianna.
- 7:09Speaker 2: But it was a total differend Brianna. Abrianna that was broken.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Abrianna was that was damage Abrianna. That her mind was nowhere,
- 7:19Speaker 2: her mind, her mind was like, you know, they hit
- 7:22Speaker 2: her so much, her mind when she didn't know say
- 7:26Speaker 2: what two and two was, she was saying, I know,
- 7:29Speaker 2: she was saying that big Meek have you heard of him?
- 7:33Speaker 2: It's a big time drug dealer. That that was her father.
- 7:37Speaker 2: That's how her whole brain came. By my being bye bye,
- 7:41Speaker 2: by me being so happy that she was home I
- 7:45Speaker 2: didn't realize all those things. So for a whole year
- 7:50Speaker 2: my daughter was home, we didn't know who she was.
- 7:56Speaker 2: She destroyed my whole house. I'm gonna tell you this
- 7:59Speaker 2: because they don't know you. She didn't want to get
- 8:02Speaker 2: near me. She will just want to drink, get hide.
- 8:07Speaker 2: She will leave the house, come in the house, she
- 8:11Speaker 2: will break everything. She will talk to a nighttime, she
- 8:15Speaker 2: will talk to all these different people, you know, like
- 8:18Speaker 2: say no, you owe me this, No you you did this.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You stop beating me, Why are you hurting me? It
- 8:25Speaker 2: was like she was having nightmares and to the point
- 8:28Speaker 2: that one time she was like, you know, like not
- 8:31Speaker 2: saying like six 'frienny or something like that. That's how
- 8:34Speaker 2: Baddy got that. She was like, let's kill your mother.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Kill kill the truth. I could have been there in
- 8:40Speaker 2: my house with my daughter. But that's why human trafficking us.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You know, all those drugs, everything that she'd been through
- 8:49Speaker 2: by her being beaten and everything. It was not my daughter,
- 8:54Speaker 2: but it was my daughter, and I did not know
- 8:58Speaker 2: what to do. I was go crazy. I had to
- 9:01Speaker 2: put her out. Then the police got a hold. She
- 9:05Speaker 2: will call the police and say that I was hurting her.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And I wasn't. But because she didn't know who I was,
- 9:12Speaker 2: you know what I mean, We will take her to
- 9:15Speaker 2: church and she will just go crazy and we're trying
- 9:19Speaker 2: to pray for her and nothing. She didn't want nothing
- 9:22Speaker 2: to do with her son. Then she came home pregnant
- 9:24Speaker 2: as well, and that was another thing. So she didn't
- 9:28Speaker 2: want to take no therpy. She kept saying there's nothing
- 9:30Speaker 2: wrong with her, that she was fine, that she wanted
- 9:34Speaker 2: to go back to New York, that she wanted to
- 9:36Speaker 2: she got a lot of things to do over there,
- 9:38Speaker 2: that she was going back to DC because this is
- 9:41Speaker 2: something that they go back to, that they know that
- 9:44Speaker 2: they scared, because they know they're looking for her. And
- 9:48Speaker 2: thankfully that me and my friends and my family we
- 9:52Speaker 2: pulled together that Oh, you know, she's much better now.
- 9:56Speaker 2: She went to God. Yeah, the mental was she she
- 10:01Speaker 2: put herself in there and finally she this was this year,
- 10:06Speaker 2: so she's finally getting a little bit better. She's still
- 10:11Speaker 2: not able to take care for her kids yet because
- 10:14Speaker 2: she is learning. She got to learn how to do
- 10:16Speaker 2: that again. She got to learn how to love herself
- 10:19Speaker 2: and who she is and walking everything. So it's like
- 10:23Speaker 2: she it's like she's taking baby steps, but she's thirty two,
- 10:30Speaker 2: so right now I don't know which age she is,
- 10:33Speaker 2: but she's growing up, you know, going backwards. But you know,
- 10:38Speaker 2: it's very very sad. It hurted me, we and for
- 10:42Speaker 2: me by me not being aware of what human trafficking
- 10:45Speaker 2: everything is, we didn't know how to take care of her.
- 10:50Speaker 2: But now that we know, it's steps to take care
- 10:53Speaker 2: of did. They have to get meant, they have to
- 10:56Speaker 2: get the mental health as soon as possible, they have
- 10:59Speaker 2: to be medicated, they have to be seen because she
- 11:03Speaker 2: had a lot of unfortunately things have happened to us women,
- 11:07Speaker 2: you know what I mean. And then there was the baby,
- 11:11Speaker 2: and you know, that was the another hardest thing because
- 11:13Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't want my daughter to have a
- 11:15Speaker 2: baby from trafficker. We don't know who the father is.
- 11:19Speaker 2: That's another thing. Who is to say who the father is?
- 11:22Speaker 2: You know, And it's very sad because I was like,
- 11:25Speaker 2: the little girl's gonna grow up to know that this,
- 11:29Speaker 2: this is how she was conceived. But then just God,
- 11:32Speaker 2: let me just you know, I pray and guys like,
- 11:35Speaker 2: just keep the baby. It's gonna be fine. And I
- 11:38Speaker 2: think she's become like the love of my life and
- 11:42Speaker 2: the love that her brother needs. But she's still I'm
- 11:47Speaker 2: caring for that baby too because she's not able to
- 11:51Speaker 2: so right now, it's it's hard. I never thought that
- 11:55Speaker 2: this was gonna happen to her. And they beat you
- 12:00Speaker 2: if you don't do something, if you don't sell your body,
- 12:03Speaker 2: if you don't have sex with them, if you don't
- 12:05Speaker 2: go to the parties, if you don't get dressed, they
- 12:08Speaker 2: beat you. They kick you, they don't feed you, they'll
- 12:11Speaker 2: lock you in the room. It's crazy. Now she's been
- 12:15Speaker 2: through all that.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Wow, and Monica, you know, and I mean sometimes she
- 12:22Speaker 1: has to sleep on the floor of who knows, Monica,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you know, thank you for sharing, because I know it's
- 12:32Speaker 1: not people think that they know what this life is like.
- 12:36Speaker 1: We see all of stuff right on TV obviously growing up,
- 12:42Speaker 1: the different music videos that depict a bunch of girls
- 12:46Speaker 1: dancing with an artist, but we don't know the real
- 12:51Speaker 1: story behind how some of them end up there. And clearly,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you know it could possibly be that human trafficking is
- 13:00Speaker 1: that big driver of some of those quote unquote successes
- 13:04Speaker 1: that we've looked at over the years.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, because she did she did say that it was
- 13:09Speaker 2: a rapper. I can't remember his name, so will we investigated?
- 13:15Speaker 2: And they want to say how you met him? I said,
- 13:17Speaker 2: we met them at the party. M yeah, So they
- 13:21Speaker 2: buy them. They said, okay, bring some girls over and
- 13:25Speaker 2: they allude them. You give them a drink, you give
- 13:27Speaker 2: the it's like, you know, like a baby. Oh, I
- 13:30Speaker 2: want this doll, this doll, I want this candy, candy,
- 13:32Speaker 2: everything you want, We're gonna give it to you. But
- 13:35Speaker 2: you don't know the damage that they're going to do
- 13:37Speaker 2: to her and how many people will violate her because
- 13:42Speaker 2: it's like there are times when she told me they
- 13:45Speaker 2: were like changing games, you know, and I want to
- 13:49Speaker 2: say all that, but it happened. It didn't happen to her,
- 13:52Speaker 2: but she knows us.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, Monica, one of the things that
- 13:59Speaker 1: I'm curious, it's about being the mom watching your daughter
- 14:04Speaker 1: come home. You see that she's physically still her, but
- 14:08Speaker 1: you can tell that she's different. Can you share with
- 14:12Speaker 1: our audience, Monica, how you've given yourself that grace of
- 14:17Speaker 1: the grief of your daughter not being the same person
- 14:21Speaker 1: who you originally thought that she was going to be.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Ooh, I cried, I'm gonna tell you, I cried. I
- 14:27Speaker 2: cried and cried and cried. I think I gained so
- 14:31Speaker 2: many pounds because that's all I could do is eat.
- 14:34Speaker 2: It was hurtful because everything by her destroying my whole
- 14:39Speaker 2: house and I mean destroying the walls, the windows, everything,
- 14:45Speaker 2: and I'm trying to keep her in and I'm trying
- 14:48Speaker 2: to cover her, and then by her calling the police
- 14:51Speaker 2: and everything. I was like, where did I fail? What
- 14:55Speaker 2: did I do so wrong? And I will ask God,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I said, why why is this happening? You know? Why mean?
- 15:03Speaker 2: And you know here she's destroying everything, She's destroying me,
- 15:07Speaker 2: and she wants to kill me literally because I will
- 15:11Speaker 2: find knives literally in her room here there and she
- 15:18Speaker 2: literally almost you know, could have killed me in the
- 15:21Speaker 2: middle of the night. But it wasn't her. It was
- 15:23Speaker 2: the people that, you know, by her being so damaged
- 15:28Speaker 2: that that's how they probably taught her what to do
- 15:31Speaker 2: or or possibly also you know, by them trying to
- 15:36Speaker 2: protect themselves from others, you know, because when somebody kid
- 15:41Speaker 2: him meeting you, you know, you want to fight back.
- 15:43Speaker 2: And she did those things and like in the middle
- 15:46Speaker 2: of the night or when she woke up in the morning,
- 15:49Speaker 2: she will start screaming and yelling and work like who
- 15:52Speaker 2: she's talking to. But it was imagined by her being
- 15:55Speaker 2: gone almost a year and a half. All those people
- 15:58Speaker 2: that she's been around. My days have been dark from
- 16:01Speaker 2: the time that she left to just recently now that
- 16:04Speaker 2: she's getting better. So even the children and the babies.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Well the baby, I can say too much, but my grandson,
- 16:13Speaker 2: you know, he has nightmares. He had a nightmare not
- 16:16Speaker 2: recently ago. So it's it's dramatic people and people think
- 16:22Speaker 2: that human trafficking it's nothing. Oh, you know, I know
- 16:26Speaker 2: about it. You don't know about it till you been
- 16:29Speaker 2: in it. And Monica learning you know.
- 16:33Speaker 1: And I'm glad that you brought up to Monica that
- 16:36Speaker 1: you're still in that learning boat. You've been in it
- 16:38Speaker 1: first hand. But there's still so many other misconceptions, signs
- 16:45Speaker 1: and nuances. And I'm curious, Monica, if you can share
- 16:48Speaker 1: with our audience what were some signs or obstacles and
- 16:53Speaker 1: things that you recognized during your time with Brianna that
- 16:57Speaker 1: maybe the general public would not be privy to because
- 17:02Speaker 1: the mainstream media does not always put that information out.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Well, mainly when you know, when my daughter not saying
- 17:11Speaker 2: not saying I can't provide her I can, but how
- 17:14Speaker 2: they that the way that she was dressed, and how
- 17:17Speaker 2: they take them, you know, as a group. They go
- 17:19Speaker 2: by groups, two or three girls, pretty girls, and how
- 17:25Speaker 2: they dress, and you know, they go and then they
- 17:28Speaker 2: go to they stay together because they have they have
- 17:32Speaker 2: they cannot leave each other, you know, by themselves, even
- 17:36Speaker 2: in the hotels they have. My daughter will say that
- 17:38Speaker 2: she was roommate with another girl and the girl will
- 17:42Speaker 2: check on her, and the girl was in charge of
- 17:45Speaker 2: feeding her. So it's they go in groups and they
- 17:50Speaker 2: travel mostly in the evenings when a lot of people
- 17:54Speaker 2: can see, you know, to go to the places that
- 17:58Speaker 2: they go to. And sometimes they will will even travel
- 18:01Speaker 2: in by the butt. Because she used to tell me
- 18:04Speaker 2: she had to go from Brooklyn to New York, you know,
- 18:08Speaker 2: to the city, or sometimes to go to all those
- 18:12Speaker 2: areas you know in because I can't remember right now,
- 18:16Speaker 2: but all the areas in New York. They will have
- 18:19Speaker 2: to travel together. And you know, when you see them
- 18:22Speaker 2: like that or you see their faces that they're not right.
- 18:25Speaker 2: You can tell their faces and something that right, or
- 18:28Speaker 2: when they're staring at you. But if they write you know,
- 18:32Speaker 2: like if they go like this or like this, that's
- 18:35Speaker 2: the fine. If they write it on the name that
- 18:37Speaker 2: they need help as well, or if they stay in
- 18:41Speaker 2: the bathroom also like they say, you know, they'll they'll
- 18:45Speaker 2: get them and then they'll change them. They'll tell them
- 18:47Speaker 2: to change their clothes and stuff. You have to be
- 18:49Speaker 2: very alert, especially the men also because well nowadays the
- 18:53Speaker 2: pemstone dress like the pems they used to, but it's
- 18:57Speaker 2: it's totally different. And you will also look at the guy,
- 19:02Speaker 2: how how the gentleman is acting with the girls as
- 19:07Speaker 2: persuading them, and he's like, okay, come on, get in,
- 19:11Speaker 2: come on, let's go. You're taking too long. So they'd
- 19:15Speaker 2: be timing them. Because my daughter was saying that the
- 19:18Speaker 2: guy will time well I don't want to say his name,
- 19:21Speaker 2: but they will time her. If she didn't do something,
- 19:25Speaker 2: he will go off, he will get mad. So and
- 19:28Speaker 2: the girl was responsible for her and my daughter has
- 19:32Speaker 2: you know, my daughter she before that she did have attitudes.
- 19:35Speaker 2: So every time she threw an attitude, that he will
- 19:38Speaker 2: hit her.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Monica, I'm glad that she's I'm sorry, I'm glad that
- 19:48Speaker 2: she's home. That they found her and the Uber driver
- 19:52Speaker 2: also now this in TikTok because I put in TikTok
- 19:56Speaker 2: the Uber driver when I put her post, there's areas.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I don't want to say the area because I can't
- 20:01Speaker 2: even remember when he was saying, say yeah, they all
- 20:04Speaker 2: the girls. And he did tell me that he had
- 20:07Speaker 2: seen her there in this area in Brooklyn where they
- 20:12Speaker 2: have all the girls, I mean young at twelve years old,
- 20:16Speaker 2: nine year old's and older women too, So there are
- 20:24Speaker 2: some pretty you know, there's some beautiful older women. They
- 20:27Speaker 2: will get them too. And then they tried to find you.
- 20:32Speaker 2: So you can go back, but something, but you have
- 20:37Speaker 2: to make that decision do you want to go back
- 20:39Speaker 2: or that? Because my daughter did say that she wanted
- 20:43Speaker 2: to go back a couple of times and I was like,
- 20:47Speaker 2: and so I tested her. I said, okay, I did
- 20:49Speaker 2: one thing. I said, well, let's go back, your back,
- 20:52Speaker 2: let's go. I'll drop you off because I wanted to
- 20:55Speaker 2: see what she was going to do. And she was
- 20:58Speaker 2: like no, no, no, I think I better stay. But
- 21:00Speaker 2: they do. I don't know if she was still in
- 21:03Speaker 2: touch with him when that, but they will want to
- 21:05Speaker 2: go back because they miss all those things and the
- 21:10Speaker 2: attractions and you know, the lifestyle and also the drugs,
- 21:16Speaker 2: which I'm still dealing with that. And I mean she's
- 21:19Speaker 2: not doing all the high step, but she's just doing
- 21:22Speaker 2: little stuff, so little but little.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm working with her, you know, Monica, I'm glad that
- 21:28Speaker 1: Brianna is making a turnaround, even though it's a slow progression.
- 21:32Speaker 1: You're working with her. She's home, you know. I'm glad
- 21:37Speaker 1: that the prayers were answered.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I am somebody who grew up in the house where
- 21:41Speaker 1: we talked about prayer a lot and faith, Monica. For
- 21:45Speaker 1: our audience, we're going to be wrapping up here soon,
- 21:48Speaker 1: and I hope next time we have this conversation that
- 21:51Speaker 1: Brianna is able to join us when she's ready to
- 21:53Speaker 1: share a story. Monica, I'm sure there's going to be
- 21:56Speaker 1: individuals in our audience who want to connect with you,
- 21:59Speaker 1: who maybe once in your same shoes, that may want
- 22:03Speaker 1: to just connect with somebody who's been there, who has
- 22:07Speaker 1: seen and who knows. How can our audience connect with
- 22:10Speaker 1: you today, Monica?
- 22:11Speaker 2: On my Facebook, I'm on, I think Monica Estaves and
- 22:19Speaker 2: on I think my social media the same thing. I mean,
- 22:24Speaker 2: not no, what do you call it? Instagram, Instagram, and
- 22:30Speaker 2: as well as TikTok is it that? Or nan a girl? Okay, yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 2: one of those two. Those those are mine because I
- 22:41Speaker 2: tried to keep a little private just in case somebody crazy.
- 22:46Speaker 2: But the thing is, you know, we have to be
- 22:49Speaker 2: careful about this rappers and artists because I'm telling you,
- 22:54Speaker 2: they do take on. She did not make I know
- 22:58Speaker 2: she once she believed it was, but I know the
- 23:02Speaker 2: other ones that she did because she'd be telling me
- 23:05Speaker 2: little stories by little you know.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Monica, First of all, again, I thank you for sharing
- 23:11Speaker 1: with our audience today and being so generous and so vulnerable,
- 23:15Speaker 1: because this is not easy to talk about, especially because
- 23:19Speaker 1: so many people believe, oh, well, that can't happen to me,
- 23:22Speaker 1: But you never know until you're actually in front of
- 23:26Speaker 1: the whole situation.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And it happened to me. Yeah, the AFA from Virginia
- 23:33Speaker 2: to DC to New York, it happens.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Well, everybody, that was miss Monica Estevez that you heard
- 23:44Speaker 1: from Brianna's mother today on grew with Portia. And that
- 23:47Speaker 1: concludes our conversation for today and until next time. Everybody,
- 23:52Speaker 1: Stay safe and peace and hair grease everyone
- 24:10Speaker 2: And st
