D. Lish’s Burgers is expanding beyond Spokane with a new location in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho—just a few years after a failed downtown attempt. Owner Hunter Schertz, who took over from Dave Lish’s legacy, says the move is driven by strong demand from Idaho customers and a spot that “just made sense.” The new restaurant, slated to open January 2027, will create 25–30 jobs and reflects Schertz’s belief that Dave Lish would’ve embraced growth.
