- 2:16Speaker 1: a couple of minutes to you know, I get to
- 2:18Speaker 1: know JP and Taylor a little bit.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And last week every single person that was on was jacked,
- 2:23Speaker 3: so we need to have a repeat said jacked.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But yes, it's listen to push up the IG live tonight.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Guys join it. It is a very gritty fucking performance,
- 2:34Speaker 1: a performance that reminds us of you guys know what
- 2:37Speaker 1: the Chevy Silverado. You know what truck guys through and through,
- 2:40Speaker 1: and the Chevy Silverado has been a partner with unstoppable
- 2:43Speaker 1: grit and determination. It's been our most valuable truck or
- 2:47Speaker 1: the MVT. And now we have the first ever all
- 2:51Speaker 1: electric Silverado that joins the franchise. We got a chance
- 2:55Speaker 1: to see this thing and experience it boys. Let me
- 2:56Speaker 1: tell you this thing is what a truck? That is
- 3:00Speaker 1: what a truck. I walked in the room and I said,
- 3:02Speaker 1: what a truck? Make sure to bleep that out blast.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Can't cuss on this available four hundred mile range GM
- 3:08Speaker 1: estimated on a full charge. That means, let me say
- 3:11Speaker 1: it again, because I feel like I stumbled over my
- 3:13Speaker 1: words on a full charge just saying gets four hundred
- 3:16Speaker 1: miles on the truck over ten feet of length in
- 3:19Speaker 1: the bed. With a multiflex tailgate that we've talked about
- 3:22Speaker 1: in previous episodes through the test of time, combined now
- 3:26Speaker 1: with a multiflex midgate a large seventeen inch diagonal display screen,
- 3:31Speaker 1: it can toe up to ten thousand pounds of max
- 3:34Speaker 1: towing zero to sixty in under four point five seconds.
- 3:38Speaker 2: With Wow mode or Willy mode.
- 3:40Speaker 1: That means I run my forty and four point five
- 3:42Speaker 1: seconds up to an impressive seven hundred and eighty five
- 3:46Speaker 1: foot pounds of torque. And we figured out what torque means.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Jack tell us what tork means?
- 3:52Speaker 4: Are you not listening?
- 3:53Speaker 2: Jack? Tell us what tork means? Baby?
- 3:56Speaker 4: You get off the line.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Basically, love that love that your ten your ten yard
- 4:00Speaker 1: dash exactly.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Head over to Chevy dot com to learn more.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Guys, the Chevy Silverado built with unstoppable grit determination, no
- 4:11Speaker 1: days off, no six weeks of beddress. When you have
- 4:13Speaker 1: a Chevy Silverado. I know all these vocal courts are down.
- 4:16Speaker 1: There's some other artists and people out there in the
- 4:18Speaker 1: world that are pushing concerts back because they're built like
- 4:21Speaker 1: other brands that we can't speak of. But here at
- 4:24Speaker 1: Chevy a Chevy podcast, we don't take any days off.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Leave a comment.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Let's get started, man, Let's uh, let's get into some Jary.
- 4:34Speaker 5: You got something. Yeah, I got some breaking news. Oh shit,
- 4:37Speaker 5: actual breaking news. Yeah.
- 4:40Speaker 6: Uh.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Kids built like a Chevy, so this works, Okay. Dylan
- 4:43Speaker 5: Ryola has committed to the University of Georgia, so we're
- 4:48Speaker 5: all fucked.
- 4:51Speaker 7: Dog.
- 4:51Speaker 2: When you said Dylan Roola, I was like, oh my god.
- 4:54Speaker 1: We we landed him. You has committed to and I'm
- 4:59Speaker 1: thinking of the University of Nebraska.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I was I I.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Was ninety nine percent sure we were gonna get this kid.
- 5:09Speaker 1: And for you to say that, what is it. We
- 5:13Speaker 1: still got time.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Number one player in the twenty twenty four class, and.
- 5:17Speaker 1: We still got some time trust me, he's committed to
- 5:19Speaker 1: a hotted.
- 5:21Speaker 5: He only visited three schools after the Ohio State thing, USC,
- 5:24Speaker 5: Nebraska and Georgia.
- 5:26Speaker 1: No, look, I think I think we still got time.
- 5:28Speaker 1: We gotta get him to campus again. We gotta get
- 5:31Speaker 1: him to campus when you know, maybe when I'm at campus,
- 5:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean, when I'm on campus. We
- 5:34Speaker 1: need to get him to the bus and bowl, roll
- 5:37Speaker 1: up the red carpet. But that fucking pisses me off. Dude,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest, God damn it. I mean, one
- 5:48Speaker 1: of his family members is the old line coach there.
- 5:51Speaker 1: We're gonna protect you. We're gonna keep you up right,
- 5:54Speaker 1: We're gonna bring back we were gonna bring back tradition.
- 5:58Speaker 2: It's still there.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You are, right, Like, you know, there's a lot of
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm processing this in real time, so you gotta work
- 6:05Speaker 1: with me a little bit. Like listen, I know we
- 6:07Speaker 1: have time. I know I need to keep my chin up.
- 6:09Speaker 1: There's still fucking time. But to pretend like I'm not
- 6:13Speaker 1: bothered by this, you know what I mean, Like a
- 6:16Speaker 1: seventeen eighteen year old kid in high school currently not
- 6:19Speaker 1: going to the school.
- 6:20Speaker 2: My alma mater.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I mean what is alma mater for me to pretend
- 6:25Speaker 1: like this ain't gonna move my sale a little bit
- 6:27Speaker 1: as a grown ass man. It feels personal, it does.
- 6:30Speaker 1: It feels fucking personal. I've had conversations, not with him directly,
- 6:34Speaker 1: this old man. We got some good coming, folks. I'm
- 6:38Speaker 1: in group chats.
- 6:39Speaker 2: What do you feel like you could have done differently?
- 6:43Speaker 2: I don't know. That's what I'm trying to talk about.
- 6:44Speaker 1: That's there because they're asking me about brand, you know,
- 6:48Speaker 1: some brand, suff potential podcasting, like I'm giving free game,
- 6:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Feel used kind of I'm
- 6:54Speaker 1: not used yet, not yet, not used, but a part
- 6:58Speaker 1: of me is, like, you know, I'm I'm thinking long term.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'm thinking what the play is here on the chessboard?
- 7:05Speaker 1: And that sucks. That sucks because I think like that
- 7:08Speaker 1: five what was that, that five star old lineman who
- 7:10Speaker 1: was shouting, you know, shouting out greatness when he was
- 7:13Speaker 1: on his Nebraska visit last week. You talk about the
- 7:15Speaker 1: grace of Walke, these halls, halls Will Compton, Yeah, which
- 7:19Speaker 1: I'm a big believer in. Do that post man, just
- 7:21Speaker 1: don't it the splits. Don't it the splits? But you
- 7:26Speaker 1: got a five star O lineman there if Dylan would
- 7:29Speaker 1: have committed to Nebraska, or if Dylan's a corner Hosker
- 7:33Speaker 1: kids are gonna follow his lead. You got a five star,
- 7:35Speaker 1: the number one player in the country. You don't you
- 7:39Speaker 1: know what I mean, You're setting the trend. You're not
- 7:41Speaker 1: waiting for other pieces to get put in. Plays like
- 7:43Speaker 1: get a wide receiver and then maybe I'll think about it,
- 7:45Speaker 1: like you're gonna bring the talent, Like right now you're
- 7:49Speaker 1: going to a place, like you're just gonna be another guy.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Hi.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm sure Stetsan Bennett's gonna go back and
- 7:56Speaker 1: play a couple more years.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Still don't have his degree, he still don't have his
- 7:59Speaker 2: agree finish business.
- 8:01Speaker 1: There's so many greats that come out of Georgia, and
- 8:03Speaker 1: don't get it twisted, there's some grapes that come out
- 8:05Speaker 1: of Nebraska now.
- 8:06Speaker 2: But you're you're you're re.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Establishing a legacy in history, and you're just not gonna
- 8:16Speaker 1: do that at a place like Georgia. Like, yeah, you
- 8:18Speaker 1: get to go in and be like I want a
- 8:20Speaker 1: Natty sweet Well, who hasn't who hasn't won a Natty
- 8:25Speaker 1: at Georgia. I don't know, man, that fucking blows. But hey,
- 8:30Speaker 1: we're not you know, we gotta keep the vibes up.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's a positive podcast. What a tough note to start
- 8:35Speaker 1: on right now. But man, that fucking sucks. You know,
- 8:41Speaker 1: we won't say busts because we still got time to land.
- 8:44Speaker 1: We still got time to land them, you know what
- 8:46Speaker 1: I mean. We gotta, yeah, we gotta figure out a
- 8:48Speaker 1: way that is true. We gotta you know, Oh that sucks.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Man up, put out some fires on social media. All
- 8:57Speaker 1: we gotta do is huskers, just stay focused winning these
- 9:00Speaker 1: polls online, and we're gonna get it wrong going into
- 9:03Speaker 1: the season. You guys heard what happened at US speaking
- 9:07Speaker 1: of college football, you guys heard of what happened at Iowa.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Sounds like they might have taken a page out of
- 9:12Speaker 3: the Payoff Willie book.
- 9:13Speaker 1: JP, go ahead and brief debrief with what's going on
- 9:16Speaker 1: in Iowa right now.
- 9:17Speaker 2: So somebody might have to correct me on the exact number.
- 9:21Speaker 3: But like, forty one student athletes at Iowa and one
- 9:26Speaker 3: employee are under investigation for gambling, and it's members of
- 9:31Speaker 3: the baseball team, track and field wrestling got up a
- 9:36Speaker 3: football football?
- 9:38Speaker 7: Yeah, baseball football men's basketball, men's track, men's wrestling, and
- 9:44Speaker 7: one athletic department employee. And there's actually one hundred and
- 9:48Speaker 7: eleven people involved in the investigation. One and eleven cross those.
- 9:52Speaker 7: And there's also kids at Iowa State. So this isn't
- 9:55Speaker 7: just Iowa, this is the whole Iowa, Iowa State.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I would go as far to saying, I'm sure there's
- 10:00Speaker 1: some stuff going on in probably every university out there.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Athletes need to be cautious.
- 10:06Speaker 1: DraftKings, FanDuel, all these sports books are outing you guys. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 1: they got they got some information. Not the Barstool sports book,
- 10:15Speaker 1: they don't do that, but FanDuel and DraftKings and all
- 10:19Speaker 1: these other fluff programs out there. They are in bed
- 10:21Speaker 1: with the big dogs. They're outing you guys. Be on
- 10:25Speaker 1: your toes, keep your head on a swivel.
- 10:28Speaker 3: One thing I think that should come out in these
- 10:30Speaker 3: reports is how much they're winning or are they losing?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yeah, part of the punishment.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Just like like you're saying, like put all their put
- 10:38Speaker 1: all their personal shit out there exactly.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I think they just need to open it up. You
- 10:44Speaker 2: just can't gamble on your own team, yeah, yes, just you.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Can't gamble on your own team, Like open it up, man,
- 10:50Speaker 1: let them make accounts, let them make profiles connected to
- 10:54Speaker 1: their nil, connected to their bank account, let them gamble
- 10:57Speaker 1: on things outside of their sport, because like you know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: we're gonna be moving towards and evolving with the gambling space.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I mean, there's sports books in stadiums. There's like the
- 11:09Speaker 1: NC double A. I don't know exactly what the NC
- 11:11Speaker 1: DOUBLEA like, I don't know if they're advertising, but all
- 11:13Speaker 1: the like Fox Sports, ESPN, all these big media companies
- 11:18Speaker 1: are in bed with these gambling sports books. Like it's
- 11:21Speaker 1: just business now. It's like the way it's like everyday
- 11:23Speaker 1: business going on, And so I think they just need
- 11:27Speaker 1: to open it up and let it happen, like you're
- 11:29Speaker 1: you're normalizing it everywhere else except for like these athletes now.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And I say that slowly not to be taken out
- 11:36Speaker 1: of context, like Joel Embiid, I do not think athletes.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I athletes should not be gambling on their own sport obviously,
- 11:43Speaker 1: like it gets a little messy there, but every other sport,
- 11:47Speaker 1: like just let it be fucking clear, like give them
- 11:50Speaker 1: the profile, give them the login, like, let them fucking
- 11:52Speaker 1: gamble let them lose their fucking scholarship checks. Let them
- 11:56Speaker 1: get in a pinch, you know what I mean. Like,
- 11:58Speaker 1: that's the we want to treat these kids want to
- 12:00Speaker 1: be treated like pro athletes, right, they want the nil.
- 12:03Speaker 1: They want to get all the money. Now, Like treat
- 12:04Speaker 1: them like fucking pros. They're amateurs, but they're making money. Like,
- 12:08Speaker 1: let them make mistakes.
- 12:10Speaker 3: If they want to gamble, let them gamble and it
- 12:11Speaker 3: would probably benefit them in the long run. You know
- 12:14Speaker 3: how so many guys go broke, Like when they get
- 12:17Speaker 3: it to the NFL. You learn in college there's way
- 12:19Speaker 3: less risk.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Right, right, it's lower amounts. I would assume what do
- 12:25Speaker 1: you got man? You said double sided coin.
- 12:27Speaker 6: If they like to kind of go back one way,
- 12:29Speaker 6: you said, like it could help them not get broke.
- 12:31Speaker 6: But at the same time, they're not very good at betting.
- 12:34Speaker 6: If they're not following payoff Willie, then they're gonna lose
- 12:37Speaker 6: all their money.
- 12:37Speaker 2: They could get flipper if you're pushing our show, Like
- 12:41Speaker 2: with all this conversation.
- 12:42Speaker 6: It's like it's I think, in my opinion, I think
- 12:45Speaker 6: this is so dumb that they're getting in trouble for it.
- 12:46Speaker 6: If they're not betting on their sports and like like
- 12:51Speaker 6: wasting the outcome. Then I think it's fine in my opinion.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I agree.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I agree, it's like it's just just I think hypocritical
- 12:58Speaker 1: that we're making game such a normal part of everyday
- 13:02Speaker 1: life in the sports world.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Basically, like gambling is in front of everybody.
- 13:06Speaker 1: There's so much money being spent on it for the
- 13:08Speaker 1: advertising in the marketing. It's like figure out the lines,
- 13:12Speaker 1: which is, don't gamble on your own sport and let
- 13:14Speaker 1: people fucking do whatever they want to do.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Like experience is the best teacher.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Let these let's the dumb ass kids lose money, they'll learn,
- 13:21Speaker 1: they'll figure it out. Speaking of dumb and experience being
- 13:25Speaker 1: a teacher, John Morant again flashing a gun on Instagram
- 13:29Speaker 1: Live his homeboy trying to get some clout putting job.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Morant on Instagram Live showing like, yeah, I'm hanging with him,
- 13:35Speaker 1: but yes, saw like even he knew, like, oh fuck, hey, dumbass,
- 13:38Speaker 1: what the fucking gun?
- 13:41Speaker 2: What is he doing? Man? Is going on?
- 13:45Speaker 7: Then it feel like I don't know at this point. Yeah,
- 13:49Speaker 7: it's just like it's so beyond like being normal. It's
- 13:53Speaker 7: just the dumbest thing you can imagine he's a suspended
- 13:57Speaker 7: right now.
- 13:58Speaker 4: The dude's probably gonna lose.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Clear most all of his endorsements at this point. Not
- 14:04Speaker 7: he didn't even drop him over the last one, but
- 14:06Speaker 7: they have to drop him over this one.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I have to It blows my mind that you're making
- 14:11Speaker 1: the same mistake. And this isn't even a We're not
- 14:13Speaker 1: even a couple months removed from the last one. When
- 14:15Speaker 1: you went to rehab or whatever it is for six
- 14:18Speaker 1: days and then they told you.
- 14:19Speaker 4: It was a seminar counseling.
- 14:22Speaker 1: And they told him they said he was good the
- 14:24Speaker 1: way he could make playoffs. You can play in the playoffs.
- 14:27Speaker 1: But you're making these same dumbast mistakes, like man, you
- 14:30Speaker 1: were fucking up your bag, like you were fucking up
- 14:32Speaker 1: your money, and you're surrounding yourself with the wrong people
- 14:35Speaker 1: like like I get. Guys want to hang out with
- 14:40Speaker 1: all their friend groups and they don't want to forget
- 14:42Speaker 1: where they came from, and they want to You know,
- 14:45Speaker 1: there's a part of success that you want your your
- 14:48Speaker 1: circle to experience with you, right, You want to uplift
- 14:52Speaker 1: them too. You feel like you are now in a
- 14:53Speaker 1: position and you there's a part of you that also
- 14:55Speaker 1: wants to help your friends, but you got to know
- 14:58Speaker 1: that your not going the same direction your friends are going.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And I'm not saying your friends are going in bad directions.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like all of us right now sitting
- 15:06Speaker 1: on this bus, we all have different goals and ambitions
- 15:08Speaker 1: in mind. Yes we're all in the same circle right now,
- 15:11Speaker 1: working together and everything else, but we all have different
- 15:14Speaker 1: ambitions and different trajectories in our life that at some
- 15:17Speaker 1: point it's gonna split us up. Doesn't mean we're not
- 15:19Speaker 1: going to be friends anymore. We can't be homies. It
- 15:21Speaker 1: doesn't mean all he's changed up because he thinks he's
- 15:24Speaker 1: leveled up, he's got money now and gotten this, had
- 15:26Speaker 1: this sense of fame and everything else. And that's speaking
- 15:29Speaker 1: to you know, experience with my own self. I'm not
- 15:32Speaker 1: saying I ever had friends that would try and get
- 15:35Speaker 1: me to buy stuff, Like I've had friends who asked like, hey,
- 15:38Speaker 1: can you float me this amount of money? Can you
- 15:39Speaker 1: buy this for me? Can you buy that for me?
- 15:42Speaker 1: And if when I would say no, I'm sure in
- 15:44Speaker 1: their mind like why can't comp help me out? Or
- 15:46Speaker 1: why can't will help me out? Or do X Y
- 15:48Speaker 1: and Z and you just have to know that you're
- 15:52Speaker 1: you have to take care of yourself first, and just
- 15:55Speaker 1: because you've attained all this success doesn't mean everybody else
- 15:59Speaker 1: can be in it. I'm kind of getting on a
- 16:00Speaker 1: tangent that's outside of him flashing the gun. I'm saying
- 16:04Speaker 1: that you've got to get out of that influence. Like
- 16:06Speaker 1: you are who you surround yourself with. You've got to
- 16:09Speaker 1: start surrounding yourself with the right people you have your
- 16:12Speaker 1: parents work their ass off, or people in your life.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I don't know his family life. I don't know how
- 16:17Speaker 1: he grew up, but there's a lot of people and
- 16:20Speaker 1: mentors and teachers and people that I'm sure have tried
- 16:24Speaker 1: doing everything possible to put him in a situation to
- 16:27Speaker 1: where it's like you're there, man, fucking go take it
- 16:30Speaker 1: and run from it, like don't look back, not don't
- 16:32Speaker 1: look back, and not be friends with your boys anymore.
- 16:34Speaker 2: If you want to help them out.
- 16:35Speaker 1: You got to figure out ways to balance that life
- 16:38Speaker 1: of doing what you need to do and what you
- 16:40Speaker 1: were put on this earth to do and what your
- 16:41Speaker 1: purpose is right now and figuring out how to balance
- 16:44Speaker 1: your family and home life and friend life going on
- 16:47Speaker 1: because you're in a different world now, man, And people
- 16:50Speaker 1: that are screaming the whole what's the problem like second Amendment?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Like has he done anything wrong? It doesn't matter. The
- 16:56Speaker 1: NBA is a private institution. It's like, you know, you
- 17:00Speaker 1: gotta make the right choices. If it's like you're you're
- 17:03Speaker 1: allowed to smoke weed as long as you don't go
- 17:06Speaker 1: past this certain threshold and test positive, right, and weed
- 17:10Speaker 1: is legal in some states, but those states, like guys
- 17:12Speaker 1: are gonna be on camera fucking promoting weed and smoking
- 17:16Speaker 1: weed and doing all this stuff that's dumbest shit or
- 17:18Speaker 1: chugging and bing's drinking.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Obviously I was on the.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yact shout out the case raise, but like, you're not
- 17:23Speaker 1: gonna be doing all this dumb stuff because you are
- 17:25Speaker 1: now an employee to a private entity. They can handle
- 17:28Speaker 1: it however they want to. And flashing the gun and
- 17:31Speaker 1: doing this and that too, whether it's you're doing some
- 17:33Speaker 1: type of signaling to show like what type of life
- 17:36Speaker 1: you live and you got a gang bang or live
- 17:38Speaker 1: this certain life to impress people that you ultimately don't
- 17:40Speaker 1: give a fuck about and to stunt in the flex
- 17:43Speaker 1: like that's just the wrong path, man, and you're fucking
- 17:46Speaker 1: up millions tens even I'm seeing reading articles, so where
- 17:49Speaker 1: you're potentially fucking up over one hundreds of millions of dollars.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Man for what? For what?
- 17:56Speaker 1: To be on Instagram live and kicking with your homies,
- 17:58Speaker 1: your homies. Your boy should know that you like, get
- 18:02Speaker 1: better fucking people in your life.
- 18:05Speaker 2: And I know that's easier.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Said than done, and there's a process with it, but
- 18:08Speaker 1: it sounds like he doesn't have the right influences in
- 18:11Speaker 1: a light in his life to actually check him right.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's a similar sitution, not not It's not like a
- 18:17Speaker 1: fucking it's apples to oranges, but Antonio Brown's kind of
- 18:21Speaker 1: falling out of the league and everything else, Like you're
- 18:23Speaker 1: surrounding yourself with these yes man and people who fucking
- 18:26Speaker 1: care about the wrong shit, and they're just telling you
- 18:28Speaker 1: what you need to hear. That's kind of my take
- 18:32Speaker 1: on not knowing entirely all the ins and outs of
- 18:35Speaker 1: this situation, but seeing the headlines of a player like
- 18:39Speaker 1: John Morant and the talent that he has and the
- 18:41Speaker 1: opportunities that he has and he's gonna get nine lives
- 18:44Speaker 1: in this world, Like that's what That's how it works.
- 18:46Speaker 2: He's that talented.
- 18:48Speaker 1: But you have to understand the opportunity that you do
- 18:50Speaker 1: have and and figure it out. Man, because you're you're
- 18:54Speaker 1: you're fucking up so many things for not only yourself
- 18:57Speaker 1: but the longevity of yourself. And are people that are
- 19:01Speaker 1: in your closest circle, which is probably his family.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Hopefully he's got good people. Hopefully listens Excell the question
- 19:07Speaker 2: our athletes overpaid.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Which brings us to the pressing question our athletes overpaid.

- 20:29Speaker 7: Were talking about something positive, Yes, there we go. How
- 20:32Speaker 7: about our boy Foster morele.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Yeah, man, So Foster just signed with the Saints.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Shout out to boy Foster signing with the Saints.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I'm sure DC Derek Carr had had a voice. I
- 20:45Speaker 1: had a voice in that signing too, like Foster man
- 20:48Speaker 1: number one. Somebody who's underwent treatment for Hotchkin lynphoma, which
- 20:54Speaker 1: is a cancer that he found out he had a
- 20:56Speaker 1: couple months ago. It kind of broke the internet popped
- 20:59Speaker 1: out that he was on a he was on a
- 21:01Speaker 1: free agency visit. I forget where, does anybody know where?
- 21:05Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure it's with the Saints. It was with
- 21:07Speaker 2: the Saints. I'm pretty sure.
- 21:08Speaker 1: He was on a free agency visit doing his physical
- 21:11Speaker 1: and everything else, and they ended up catching that he
- 21:13Speaker 1: had something going on. They run tests and finds out
- 21:16Speaker 1: that he has Hodgkins lymphoma. Jack, are you able to explain?
- 21:20Speaker 7: Hodginson's lymphoma is basically like your immune system that fights
- 21:24Speaker 7: off germs, it becomes extremely weak, so you're very vulnerable
- 21:28Speaker 7: to any kind of sickness and you're just at a
- 21:30Speaker 7: really low point in terms of immunity.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So yeah, so when that happened, obviously massive shock to Foster.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm sure, Like again, he posted about it on the internet.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Internet was erupting about it. Obviously, just a fucking sad
- 21:46Speaker 1: thing when you see like somebody like an NFL athlete
- 21:50Speaker 1: having finding out that they have cancer, more or less
- 21:53Speaker 1: like on a on a free agency visit. I'm sure
- 21:57Speaker 1: was absolutely scary for Foster. But he is now signed
- 22:02Speaker 1: with the Saints. They feel very good about what his
- 22:04Speaker 1: progress looks like that he could potentially on this article here,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I think it was on ESPN that he he'll be
- 22:10Speaker 1: looking to potentially play this year still, so based on
- 22:14Speaker 1: the progress that he's making. What are some of the
- 22:17Speaker 1: quotes I knew I think we knew that he was
- 22:20Speaker 1: going to be clear to participate, and we felt like
- 22:22Speaker 1: we were a destination that he was certainly interested in.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Obviously LSU he's got the New Orleans ties. But it's
- 22:28Speaker 1: never it's never done until it's done. And so soon
- 22:31Speaker 1: as the draft was over, we had some communication. I
- 22:33Speaker 1: will say that we knew we were looking, I knew
- 22:36Speaker 1: where we were looking, and it was just a matter
- 22:38Speaker 1: of trying to get something done. And again, it seems
- 22:41Speaker 1: like he's on the path to be playing and participating
- 22:45Speaker 1: in off season activities or training camp.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I think this fall. Yeah, it's similar to what.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I think.
- 22:51Speaker 2: There's two types of it. But Eric Berry, this is
- 22:53Speaker 2: what he had. Oh really, yeah, he had Hodgkin lymphoma
- 22:56Speaker 2: and then he came back and right here.
- 22:59Speaker 3: So he came back for the he was diagnosed to
- 23:02Speaker 3: the twenty fourteen in December, came back for a twenty
- 23:05Speaker 3: fifteen season and was a Pro bowler, was on the
- 23:08Speaker 3: All Pro team. It was the comeback Player of the Year.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I hopefully you get that same juju with Foster.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, man, you know, like.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I'm fired up that he's he's got some positive news
- 23:21Speaker 1: signing with the Saints and was able to kind of
- 23:24Speaker 1: figure out some things and find some positive side of it,
- 23:26Speaker 1: because I'm sure at first it was scary as fuck.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Man, when you find out that you have something cancer
- 23:30Speaker 2: is going on.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I know I've spoken about it before, but during my
- 23:34Speaker 1: free agency after Washington, when I was doing with Washington,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I had went to Buffalo on a free agency visit.
- 23:40Speaker 1: It was my first one, and I was just doing
- 23:42Speaker 1: your typical CEA spine MRI and uh, just because I
- 23:46Speaker 1: had stinger history, I had stinger in a couple concussions,
- 23:49Speaker 1: and so they wanted to do a c spine scan.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Went into the fucking MRI machine, come out and I
- 23:59Speaker 1: go into I sit with the athletic trainer and they
- 24:02Speaker 1: put up basically the scan and they go, will do
- 24:05Speaker 1: you see this white mass right here? And I was like, yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 1: what you know what's going on there? And they're like,
- 24:10Speaker 1: you know, we're we're honestly, we're unsure. We need you
- 24:14Speaker 1: to get tested by a neurosurgeon or neuro radiologists to
- 24:20Speaker 1: get an MRI on this because we could be looking
- 24:23Speaker 1: at something cancerous right here.
- 24:25Speaker 2: We don't know.
- 24:25Speaker 1: This doesn't fit the mold of what they see in
- 24:28Speaker 1: usual MRI scans or C spine scans, and we don't
- 24:32Speaker 1: know if it's in the history of any other C
- 24:33Speaker 1: spine scans that you had, because I had gotten sea
- 24:36Speaker 1: spiding scans in the past with the Washington Redskins, and
- 24:39Speaker 1: so obviously your intenna goes up on you know, what
- 24:43Speaker 1: the hell is going on? They pulled me out of
- 24:45Speaker 1: I was in a linebacker meeting, watching film with Buffalo
- 24:48Speaker 1: Bill's linebacker coach at the time, and was going on
- 24:51Speaker 1: my routine free agent visit only to get told that, hey,
- 24:54Speaker 1: we could be looking at something cancerous and it's a
- 24:57Speaker 1: potential tumor in your brain. It was like this white mass,
- 25:00Speaker 1: So was sitting in my cerehbellum of my head and
- 25:04Speaker 1: they're like, do you want us to get you a
- 25:05Speaker 1: flight back to d C. I'm thinking they were gonna
- 25:07Speaker 1: do an MRI there, like it wasn't really hit me yet,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and they're like, we think it'd be good if you're
- 25:12Speaker 1: around family or people that you know when you get this,
- 25:14Speaker 1: When you get this MRI and I'm low key starting
- 25:17Speaker 1: to freak out, then call my dad. It gets a
- 25:19Speaker 1: little bit emotional with my dad, get rushed to a
- 25:22Speaker 1: radiologist in DC get a brain MRI on my brain.
- 25:26Speaker 1: They put some dye in there so that way they
- 25:28Speaker 1: can tell what it is. I get done with the
- 25:31Speaker 1: with the MRI, start going upstairs, and I can hear
- 25:34Speaker 1: the neuro radiologist talking to our surgeon with the Washington
- 25:39Speaker 1: Redskins at the time, doctor West. And I can hear
- 25:43Speaker 1: walking in like, I think this is a tumor. This
- 25:45Speaker 1: could potentially be cancrous. We might need to look at
- 25:47Speaker 1: getting this out of his head, cut out of his
- 25:49Speaker 1: head and sent to a lab. And then he was like, oh,
- 25:52Speaker 1: he's he's here. Let me talk to you. Let me
- 25:54Speaker 1: talk to you. I'll call you back in a little bit.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Hear him click and go. Will what how you doing?
- 25:58Speaker 2: Man? Come on in here.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And I was like, like, you know it, I kind
- 26:02Speaker 1: of caught the back end of that conversation. Let's just
- 26:04Speaker 1: cut to it. What are we talking about? He was like,
- 26:07Speaker 1: Will like come over here. He's like, you see this
- 26:08Speaker 1: white mass? And he was like, we're we're looking at
- 26:11Speaker 1: something that could be cancerous, Like we could be looking
- 26:14Speaker 1: at a h I forget what the terminology was, but
- 26:17Speaker 1: some type of tumor in your brain.
- 26:20Speaker 2: There's a low.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Chance it could be assists, but based on what I'm seeing,
- 26:23Speaker 1: based on some of these color patterns and everything else,
- 26:25Speaker 1: there's like a solid outlining versus like some cloudy lining,
- 26:29Speaker 1: or maybe it was vice versa.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I don't know. My head wasn't on there.
- 26:31Speaker 1: My head's kind of rapping trying to get my arms
- 26:33Speaker 1: around it. And he was like, Uh, we might need
- 26:36Speaker 1: to get this operated on. Take it out of your
- 26:38Speaker 1: head and uh and checked for a tumor, some cancerous
- 26:44Speaker 1: and he was like, the positive is we can put
- 26:47Speaker 1: some titanium, some fucking animan team basically like on your
- 26:50Speaker 1: skull and you could still play. And I was like, Doc, look,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna be just transparent, like if we're looking at
- 26:55Speaker 1: a tumor in my brain that we have to get
- 26:57Speaker 1: removed the first thing, Like I'm not thinking of putting
- 27:00Speaker 1: my helmet back on and fucking doing the Oklahoma drill
- 27:02Speaker 1: right away, Like I'll probably just be done playing. And
- 27:05Speaker 1: he's like, you know, I have a couple of conversations.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Get off the phone. I'm driving home. I talked to
- 27:09Speaker 1: doctor West and she's like, Hey, we're gonna we're gonna
- 27:11Speaker 1: get options. We're getting your MRI shipped off to people
- 27:13Speaker 1: in Europe and fucking all the best, getting the best
- 27:15Speaker 1: eyes on her in the world, because you need a
- 27:18Speaker 1: neurosurgeon now to look at it.
- 27:20Speaker 2: He's a neuroradiologist.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He's not able to identify specifically what it is a
- 27:24Speaker 1: neurosurgeon can. So I'm up all night. I'm telling my boy,
- 27:27Speaker 1: Trim Murphy. I'm not telling charl my wife. Now wife,
- 27:31Speaker 1: she's off in the Philippines. I'm not telling my mom.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I just kind of tell my dad. I tell Trim
- 27:35Speaker 1: Murphy and a couple of my boys. So we're kind
- 27:37Speaker 1: of up all night trying to figure out what it
- 27:38Speaker 1: could be. And you know, it's sleepless. Get a call
- 27:42Speaker 1: the next day from the neurosurgeon. He calls, Will, I'm
- 27:44Speaker 1: sure you've been fucking I'm sure you've been paranoid, and
- 27:47Speaker 1: you know, Bride not gotten a lot of sleep. I'll
- 27:49Speaker 1: start right now. You do not have a tumor. So
- 27:52Speaker 1: that was a massive relief. Like we think you have
- 27:54Speaker 1: assists that you've had, Like I've looked at all your
- 27:56Speaker 1: old scans and your old MRIs. They were in those skins,
- 28:00Speaker 1: the Washington scans, they were in there. They are hard
- 28:03Speaker 1: to find in their defense, but they are in there.
- 28:07Speaker 1: It hasn't grown a whole lot. I'm under the impression
- 28:09Speaker 1: we have this data all the way back to twenty fourteen.
- 28:12Speaker 1: I'm under the impression that you were born with this
- 28:14Speaker 1: because it is in your cerebellum and you've lived with
- 28:16Speaker 1: this throughout your life. So this isn't anything that's life threatening,
- 28:20Speaker 1: like you know everybody was assuming now all to say,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I'm sure when Foster's learning about all this stuff like
- 28:28Speaker 1: that is a just a fucking scary panic. You're almost
- 28:31Speaker 1: scared to tell your parents and people close to you
- 28:34Speaker 1: because there's a sense of like, you know, like what's
- 28:39Speaker 1: you're kind of just accepting. Yeah, you're kind of accepting
- 28:41Speaker 1: the reality, but you know how people around you that's
- 28:43Speaker 1: closest to you might take it, and so you're almost
- 28:46Speaker 1: nervous to tell them. But obviously like coming out on
- 28:49Speaker 1: the other side and getting the positive, I hope all
- 28:52Speaker 1: the same stuff. I know hodskin lim Foam, I know
- 28:54Speaker 1: what Eric Berry went through. There's he's in the hospital.
- 28:57Speaker 1: The same with Mark Hurzlich from Boston College, who's gonna
- 29:00Speaker 1: be a first round draft pick, was looking at leaving
- 29:03Speaker 1: early and got hit with cancer, comes back for a
- 29:06Speaker 1: fifth year, ends up still getting drafted in the mid
- 29:09Speaker 1: rounds and had a career with the New York Giants.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Still he's a speaker, He speaks on an awesome fucking
- 29:14Speaker 1: story with him. But Eric Berry and Mark go through
- 29:17Speaker 1: you know, they go through chemo, they go through the
- 29:19Speaker 1: hardship man. You see him losing weight and everything else
- 29:21Speaker 1: and battling back. You know, Foster's got that same kind
- 29:26Speaker 1: of mentality. So whatever he's gonna go through, I'm sure
- 29:28Speaker 1: he's going through all those processes. Hopefully it doesn't get
- 29:31Speaker 1: as low as some of those things and stories you
- 29:33Speaker 1: hear about. But I know, just finding that stuff on
- 29:35Speaker 1: some typical free agent visit, like it's definitely like a
- 29:40Speaker 1: shock to the system. I think he's gonna be here
- 29:41Speaker 1: for Titan, You too, I would love to be awesome.
- 29:44Speaker 1: He sat with us and talked about it. But you know,
- 29:46Speaker 1: hats off to the boy, Like that is some possitive news.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Seeing him signe with New Orleans too, Like growing up
- 29:51Speaker 1: in Louisiana, going to LSU, playing with DC Derek Carr,
- 29:55Speaker 1: like just being in the being in the backyard.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Like, h I'm sure he's fired up. So that's some
- 30:00Speaker 2: positive news. Yeah, I will.
- 30:02Speaker 3: And like the timing of that, Similard with your timing,
- 30:05Speaker 3: Like as far as contracts go, you have to just
- 30:07Speaker 3: be thinking like, oh my god, like cause I'm pretty
- 30:11Speaker 3: sure like Foster signed a new deal, right, it's like
- 30:13Speaker 3: something like three year, fourteen million dollars, Like, thank god,
- 30:16Speaker 3: that's what he signed for something like that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: That's fucking awesome, dude.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Right, And so like the timing of it though, because
- 30:23Speaker 3: that could have easily been they might have not signed him.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Then he misses his window to get a little money, right, and.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Then you're signing a one year minimum probably right. I
- 30:30Speaker 1: know with my situation, who was the Preston's Preston Brown.
- 30:35Speaker 1: It was a really good linebacker at the time. I
- 30:37Speaker 1: think he was top two or three and tackles. He
- 30:41Speaker 1: left to go sign with the Bengals. So that same
- 30:44Speaker 1: day the Bills called. So I was fired up, like
- 30:47Speaker 1: I wasn't part of the first round of free agency
- 30:49Speaker 1: and kind of the second wave of his opening up.
- 30:51Speaker 1: So I go out there thinking I'm gonna walk out
- 30:53Speaker 1: there with a contract potentially, right, I mean, with DC
- 30:56Speaker 1: coach Frasier going over my whole process, how I study
- 31:00Speaker 1: to day throughout the week, talking about leadership, talking about
- 31:03Speaker 1: all these things, and I'm fired up. We had a
- 31:04Speaker 1: really good rapport going on, had a really good rapport
- 31:07Speaker 1: going on with the linebacker coach, and you kind of
- 31:09Speaker 1: get plucked out of there, but you walk away without
- 31:12Speaker 1: a contract. And even when I signed with the Titans,
- 31:14Speaker 1: Titans came on board. Once we got everything cleared, I
- 31:17Speaker 1: went throw my MRIs, all my scams, met with doctors,
- 31:19Speaker 1: figured out that it was just assist.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Then the Titans called, hey.
- 31:22Speaker 1: What's going on? What happened with Will and Buffalo? Why
- 31:24Speaker 1: didn't they sign him? Agents doing all the negotiating. I
- 31:27Speaker 1: fly out for a visit with the Titans. End up
- 31:29Speaker 1: signing a deal with the Titans on a one year,
- 31:31Speaker 1: two million dollar deal a little above minimum, a little
- 31:35Speaker 1: above minimum minimum, but no other competitors in the in
- 31:40Speaker 1: pre agency bills we tried going back to the bills bills,
- 31:43Speaker 1: was like, we feel good about what our doctors are
- 31:45Speaker 1: telling us, and so there's a little bit of like, yo,
- 31:48Speaker 1: something still going on with my head that they know about,
- 31:51Speaker 1: the Titans or my agent or other people don't know about.
- 31:55Speaker 1: But yeah, that's a good point like he could have easily.
- 31:58Speaker 1: You know, it could have been higher if he doesn't
- 31:59Speaker 1: have this come out. But man, that's a fucking good
- 32:03Speaker 1: deal to have three years, fourteen million with all that
- 32:06Speaker 1: stuff coming out. So fired up for the boy. Foster Man,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I know he's a he's just a fucking dog and
- 32:11Speaker 1: just a good dude, a good soul.
- 32:13Speaker 2: He's a ballbuster.
- 32:14Speaker 1: And a little bit of a prick and you know,
- 32:17Speaker 1: but he's an awesome dude.
- 32:18Speaker 2: I'm fired up for him. What else we got, Jackie Boy?
- 32:21Speaker 4: Shane Ray five year hiatus with the Bills.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Shane Ray.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So for those who don't know Shane Ray, Shane Ray
- 32:28Speaker 1: was a first round pick in two thousand and fourteen, fifteen, sixteen.
- 32:36Speaker 1: One of those years. In twenty fifteen, he was their
- 32:38Speaker 1: first round pick coming out of MISSOI. He was a
- 32:41Speaker 1: unanimous All American I want to say SEC player of
- 32:43Speaker 1: the Year at the time. It was a first rounder
- 32:45Speaker 1: to Denver, got paired up with Von Miller, had to shake,
- 32:49Speaker 1: didn't have the best rookie year, had eight sacks in
- 32:52Speaker 1: his second career. In his trajectory, it was looking up
- 32:55Speaker 1: as somebody who was gonna come into the fold.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Was part of the super Bowl winning team, came off
- 32:59Speaker 2: the bench.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I think he had a four fumble or a sack
- 33:01Speaker 1: maybe in the Super Bowl against.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, a super Bowl against the Panthers.
- 33:07Speaker 1: And I want to say, going into his contract year,
- 33:10Speaker 1: Denver doesn't pick up his fifth year option, which sucks
- 33:13Speaker 1: for a first round or you kind of want to
- 33:15Speaker 1: be you know, Taylor's talked about plenty of times. You
- 33:17Speaker 1: have this expectation that you want to live up to.
- 33:19Speaker 1: You want to be a fifth round option guy. You
- 33:21Speaker 1: want to get an extension with the team who drafted you.
- 33:23Speaker 1: So a lot of expectation as that first round pick
- 33:26Speaker 1: that you're trying to work towards.
- 33:27Speaker 2: You don't want to be a bust.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Objectively, looking at his numbers in the journey he's had,
- 33:32Speaker 1: you can put him in the bust category.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Not hating at all on his game.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Just when you look at a first round pick, you
- 33:38Speaker 1: want them to be like a legacy guy. You want
- 33:40Speaker 1: them to be an eight ten year VET pro bowler
- 33:42Speaker 1: and everything else for your team. Doesn't get his fifth
- 33:46Speaker 1: year picked up, so he's in his contract year. There's
- 33:49Speaker 1: something a ligament in his wrist and is out for
- 33:52Speaker 1: like eight weeks and battles, has a tough battle with
- 33:56Speaker 1: being injured, being injury prone that year, and goes into
- 33:59Speaker 1: the market, doesn't have the best market, signs with Baltimore.
- 34:02Speaker 2: I think, is that what he did?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, go to his Wikipedia signs with Baltimore and I
- 34:08Speaker 1: believe hurt himself even in Baltimore and ended up getting
- 34:12Speaker 1: cut in training at the end of training camp.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 34:16Speaker 3: It's like he has an asterisk by the Ravens and
- 34:18Speaker 3: just says off season and or practice squad memory.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Right.
- 34:22Speaker 1: So he got done with his four years in Denver,
- 34:25Speaker 1: winning a super Bowl, being a first round pick. He
- 34:27Speaker 1: has the petigree. He just needs health and needs to
- 34:30Speaker 1: show that he can still flash, similar like a Jadeveon Clowney.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Some health concern but he flashes every year. So he's
- 34:37Speaker 1: able to still go get it back from somebody on
- 34:39Speaker 1: a one year deal because his upside is high as a.
- 34:42Speaker 2: First round pick.
- 34:44Speaker 1: And so Shane Ray signs with Baltimore thinking, Okay, let
- 34:47Speaker 1: me sign a one year deal and again flash a
- 34:50Speaker 1: little bit and get a bag going after that. That's
- 34:52Speaker 1: usually your thought process going into that. Has some injury
- 34:56Speaker 1: history with with Baltimore and ends up getting cut on
- 35:01Speaker 1: the last wave of cuts. That an ego to a
- 35:05Speaker 1: first rounder, you know, I know is a fucking shot. Like,
- 35:10Speaker 1: you know, I can only imagine being in an undrafted
- 35:13Speaker 1: cat and kind of trying to like grow and start
- 35:15Speaker 1: lower and go up. But to be a guy who's
- 35:17Speaker 1: fucking unanimous All American SEC Player of the Year, first
- 35:22Speaker 1: round pick, always going to be this, yeah, super Bowl
- 35:26Speaker 1: force fumble, like trying to like, you know, have some
- 35:29Speaker 1: longevity in the career to get cut.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I'm sure it's demoralizing.
- 35:32Speaker 1: And not only that, he doesn't get picked up in
- 35:35Speaker 1: the NFL, he goes to the CFL in plays for
- 35:38Speaker 1: two years in the CFL for the Toronto say that
- 35:42Speaker 1: we're Argonauts the word right there, But.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Dude, you see that there It says in twenty twenty
- 35:48Speaker 3: three he suffered a torn bicep. Where where at where
- 35:53Speaker 3: do you see that at under his Toronto Argonauts section?
- 35:56Speaker 2: Oh snap?
- 35:57Speaker 1: So he plays two years in Canada, So you have
- 36:00Speaker 1: that little bit of a career, right only to go
- 36:02Speaker 1: up to Canada, Like there's a part of you that's like, am.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I gonna play in the arena? Am I gonna play Canada?
- 36:07Speaker 1: Like? No, I'm too good for that, Swallows, the ego realizes, like,
- 36:11Speaker 1: if I'm gonna get back in the league, I know,
- 36:13Speaker 1: I gotta fucking cut my teeth in Canada and get
- 36:15Speaker 1: some film and bounce back from these wrists injuries. So
- 36:18Speaker 1: he goes to Canada for two years, and it looks
- 36:21Speaker 1: like suffers a torn bicep late in the season when
- 36:25Speaker 1: the team wins the Gray Cup Championship, but becomes a
- 36:29Speaker 1: free agent in February of twenty twenty three. This past year,
- 36:33Speaker 1: now he does a tryout at rookie fucking mini camp
- 36:36Speaker 1: at a mini camp tryout with rookies in the draft
- 36:40Speaker 1: class in Buffalo, and now you see a photo going around.
- 36:44Speaker 1: He signs with Buffalo I'm sure on a minimum deal,
- 36:46Speaker 1: which is what it is. It shows that he's willing
- 36:49Speaker 1: to fucking rebuild a foundation at rock bottom, right like
- 36:53Speaker 1: it shows that he's able to swallow the ego, swallows pride,
- 36:57Speaker 1: do what he has to do to just get back
- 36:58Speaker 1: in the league, because the dude loves ball, like he
- 37:00Speaker 1: just wants another opportunity that honestly, like it fires me up,
- 37:03Speaker 1: Like I know he'll be argued about as somebody who's
- 37:07Speaker 1: like this was a first round bus whatever.
- 37:09Speaker 2: Fuck that.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The fact that the dude went through that adversity, goes
- 37:13Speaker 1: to Canada battles for a couple of years, gets a
- 37:15Speaker 1: torn bicep, only to go to a rookie mini camp.
- 37:19Speaker 1: The humility you got to have to be a seven
- 37:23Speaker 1: to eight year guy and to go into a rookie
- 37:25Speaker 1: mini camp to try to get a roster spot speaks
- 37:28Speaker 1: volumes of this fucking character. Whether or not he makes
- 37:30Speaker 1: a team, we're rooting from a bus with the boys,
- 37:32Speaker 1: But fucking hats off to Shane Ray.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Dude. I think that's awesome.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it's kind of rewriting the book again. It just shows, Uh,
- 37:41Speaker 3: he can be out of the league for a couple
- 37:42Speaker 3: of seasons and get back in so that.
- 37:44Speaker 4: The next question will Compton.
- 37:48Speaker 2: It's gonna say, what kind of story you're right in there? JP?
- 37:50Speaker 4: How many years until you're back?
- 37:52Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 37:52Speaker 1: Once I get them battling these fucking elements I'm in
- 37:55Speaker 1: right now. Listen, your boy's about to start working with
- 37:57Speaker 1: a doctor high profile now, and your boy's gonna get right.
- 38:01Speaker 1: I'm talking about this low back I got going on,
- 38:04Speaker 1: this blood work that I've been looking at.
- 38:05Speaker 2: We got some stuff going on in the digestive system.
- 38:08Speaker 1: We got to fix whatever is going on that's given
- 38:10Speaker 1: me these you know that butt wind, infection in the eye.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Gotta get my vocal cords back. But you never know.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I think what's tough is worth standing up.
- 38:19Speaker 1: Not only am I on the outside looking in with
- 38:22Speaker 1: the gambling side of things. The boys are trying to
- 38:24Speaker 1: stand up. More shows.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah, but you can do three four years and more
- 38:28Speaker 2: shows and pop back in the league.
- 38:30Speaker 1: That's a good point. So you're staying fucking capitalized. Be
- 38:33Speaker 1: a media guy. Do the gambling. Then after a couple
- 38:36Speaker 1: of year hiatus, go to a rookie Minnie camp, earn
- 38:38Speaker 1: my stripes.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Let these coaches know the boys still got some fucking juice.
- 38:41Speaker 3: And that's off of fresh body. Shane Ray did it
- 38:44Speaker 3: off of an injured body. Yes, Oh you're fresh, and
- 38:47Speaker 3: that's nothing to sleep on.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I've only participated in five off season activities, five training camps, right.
- 38:55Speaker 2: And one Beer Olympics, one Beer Olympics, one case race.
- 39:00Speaker 2: That's it.
- 39:00Speaker 1: That's all the wear and tear we got on it.
- 39:01Speaker 1: That's all the wear and tear we got on my body.
- 39:03Speaker 1: And that I think that does say something. Right, Oh,
- 39:07Speaker 1: I like that though, take a couple of years off
- 39:09Speaker 1: twenty twenty six, twenty twenty six or twenty seven playoff
- 39:12Speaker 1: will ye.
- 39:13Speaker 4: The return and come back for that Titans new uh right?
- 39:16Speaker 1: News, you cut the rope. If Ray would have me,
- 39:20Speaker 1: I feel like Ray would be the stingy one.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 39:22Speaker 1: We might have to take our talents elsewhere because Ray
- 39:24Speaker 1: doesn't appreciate what sits in this fucking chair right now.
- 39:27Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 39:28Speaker 3: He keeps having bad judgment. He might not be there
- 39:30Speaker 3: in twenty twenty seven. Ooh, I like that too. I
- 39:33Speaker 3: like that too.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Speaking of you guys, see Will will Levis is now
- 39:36Speaker 1: the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.
- 39:39Speaker 2: He had a couple of good throws.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Although they are saying he's throwing that rock like Aaron Rodgers,
- 39:43Speaker 1: he's looking like Aaron Rodgers out there.
- 39:45Speaker 7: I saw that tweets and I was like, I don't
- 39:47Speaker 7: you know, Will Lovis looks like a young Aaron Rodgers.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Like, what aree that release? It's a quick release, dude.
- 39:53Speaker 4: I like seeing those videos.
- 39:55Speaker 7: But it's like, Titans fans, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
- 39:59Speaker 4: We have a lot of of time until there's he's
- 40:01Speaker 4: playing one snap.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Oh, but why not, you know, find some optimism.
- 40:06Speaker 7: I'm not saying I'm being pessimistic. I just I feel
- 40:09Speaker 7: like someone's gotta be realistic.
- 40:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but I hope he is.
- 40:14Speaker 4: The young a Rod. People are describing him as you.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Think you think he makes it interesting with training camp
- 40:19Speaker 1: this year with Ryan Tannehill.
- 40:20Speaker 4: I do think he makes it interesting.
- 40:22Speaker 7: I do think he's sending my leak probably home at
- 40:24Speaker 7: least I hope we do, because only three qbs on
- 40:27Speaker 7: the roster.
- 40:29Speaker 2: But he can do it.
- 40:29Speaker 1: For competition on the ninety man roster, you need that.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Yeah, but we saw how.
- 40:35Speaker 7: I hope Elite does well and he finds a spot
- 40:38Speaker 7: in another franchise. But he had a couple of shots
- 40:40Speaker 7: this year and it didn't really pan out. Literally, the
- 40:43Speaker 7: system at Liberty was a high school system. Now you're
- 40:47Speaker 7: in the pros.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think I think you have a point there.
- 40:51Speaker 1: You're not like throwing shade. It just is what it is.
- 40:53Speaker 1: This is a business. You're operating his arm fair GM.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Right now, you're trying to find a couple guys who
- 40:57Speaker 1: are going to compete for that starting job come August.
- 41:00Speaker 4: It'll be interesting for sure, you know.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I think it will, because yeah, I think so. I
- 41:07Speaker 2: think so.
- 41:07Speaker 1: It seems like he's got like he's got the intangible
- 41:10Speaker 1: stuff you want in a guy. I don't know him
- 41:13Speaker 1: that well. I'm basing stuff off with some fluff out there. However,
- 41:16Speaker 1: like seeing his passionate reaction when he got drafted, I know,
- 41:19Speaker 1: like that's take that that can be like overseen and
- 41:22Speaker 1: stuff like that, but you can tell he's very excited
- 41:25Speaker 1: to like make a difference in a team. I'm sure
- 41:27Speaker 1: he feels slighted going in the second round, although you
- 41:29Speaker 1: did see articles out there of some teams draft strategies
- 41:32Speaker 1: that he would have been picked in the first round
- 41:34Speaker 1: had certain people not fallen right on their draft boards.
- 41:38Speaker 2: But uh, I'm excited to see it. You know.
- 41:41Speaker 1: I think, like Dannehill needs to be the guy, and
- 41:43Speaker 1: you don't wanna you don't want to throw him into
- 41:45Speaker 1: the fire, especially if you got a good situation going on.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Ryan, Like, let's not forget like Tanny.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I know he has his blemishes that people like to
- 41:52Speaker 1: argue about, but the man's a good starting quarterback in
- 41:54Speaker 1: the NFL, and that just.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's fucking consistent, he's level headed.
- 41:59Speaker 1: My man takes his sh shot when he throws the ball,
- 42:02Speaker 1: and I think he'd be good for will to to
- 42:04Speaker 1: you know, to have under his wing, to mentor and
- 42:06Speaker 1: all that other stuff. But I think it'll be exciting.
- 42:09Speaker 6: Man.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I do think the Titans are in a rebuild right now,
- 42:12Speaker 1: but you know it's the NFL like they can make
- 42:16Speaker 1: it interesting. I know Ray, he's a big fan of
- 42:18Speaker 1: this podcast. They can make it very You can make
- 42:21Speaker 1: it interesting. I do think you guys are fucking at
- 42:23Speaker 1: the bottom looking up, but I think you guys can
- 42:26Speaker 1: make it interesting.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Let's talk about Hey Dude.

- 43:53Speaker 1: Ultimate Fighter trailer came out The Ultimate Fighter, the reality
- 43:56Speaker 1: show that our boy Michael Chandler is in against con McGregor.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Like this moment in Platform for the boy listen, I
- 44:07Speaker 1: think this is good for busting, right, This is good
- 44:09Speaker 1: for busting because the boy Mike Chandler, Like, at the
- 44:11Speaker 1: end of the day McGregor, McGregor hasn't beat anybody. He's
- 44:15Speaker 1: won one fight and it hadn't begainst anybody substantial since
- 44:19Speaker 1: twenty and sixteen, twenty seventeen. I think this will be interesting.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I think this will be interesting. What do you there's
- 44:27Speaker 1: some leakage that's been coming out, whether it's behind the scenes.
- 44:31Speaker 1: You know McGregor, he's in seems to be in midseason
- 44:33Speaker 1: form when it comes to chirping. He walked him into
- 44:36Speaker 1: that one eighty five. You'll do what you're told. What
- 44:40Speaker 1: her thoughts, JP, I know you're a USC analyst. What
- 44:42Speaker 1: do you got going on here? What do you make
- 44:44Speaker 1: of this?
- 44:45Speaker 3: I mean it was just classic Connor right, Like you
- 44:48Speaker 3: know him and Mike have been pretty respectful. Like on Twitter,
- 44:52Speaker 3: they'll throw a few jabs and it's a tough spot
- 44:54Speaker 3: because you know how it went down. They put Mike
- 44:57Speaker 3: in there first in the weight room, you just have
- 44:59Speaker 3: them waiting and he's in his like gym shirt and everything,
- 45:02Speaker 3: and then McGregor comes walking in suited and you just
- 45:06Speaker 3: I wonder what was going through Mike's head of like,
- 45:10Speaker 3: you know, like am I I guess we saw what's
- 45:12Speaker 3: going through his head?
- 45:13Speaker 2: Oh what's up? Connor? You know how you doing?
- 45:15Speaker 3: But you gotta think, like, man, you know, Connor's about
- 45:19Speaker 3: to come at you with something.
- 45:20Speaker 7: I know.
- 45:21Speaker 2: But in the fact he calls him like.
- 45:23Speaker 3: I don't know why this sends out to me, but
- 45:25Speaker 3: the facts he calls him Michael, They're like, oh, don't
- 45:28Speaker 3: worry about it, Michael.
- 45:29Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, that's Mike, not Michael. Yeah, Michael sounds
- 45:34Speaker 2: like he's sonning him.
- 45:35Speaker 1: And you don't know the production of the whole thing,
- 45:36Speaker 1: like you know, they spice it up a little bit,
- 45:38Speaker 1: who knows, but you know Mike, like Mike's a he's
- 45:42Speaker 1: a different man. His heart turns black when he that
- 45:44Speaker 1: octagon locks. He's a good soul outside of the octagon.
- 45:48Speaker 1: There's a lot of respect that always gets paid. Like
- 45:51Speaker 1: you know, he's called McGregor ow right as a show.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Himan after winning a fight but other than that, when
- 45:56Speaker 1: they go back and forth, whether it be on Twitter
- 45:57Speaker 1: or anything else, there's always that sign of his So
- 46:00Speaker 1: I'm sure like when Connor comes in, Mike might be
- 46:03Speaker 1: thinking like, he's gonna be that same dude until proven otherwise.
- 46:06Speaker 1: And I think, like, with that comment, you'll do what
- 46:09Speaker 1: you're dold. I was like, fuck, he got the boy.
- 46:13Speaker 1: I think with that one, what would your response have been?
- 46:16Speaker 1: You just typically know, I know, like I'm watching him
- 46:19Speaker 1: thinking like what would I do. I'm like, I'd probably
- 46:20Speaker 1: just sitting there silent too, like damn it. Yeah, you
- 46:25Speaker 1: have to lean on what he hasn't done in the
- 46:28Speaker 1: last seven years. He hasn't done anything right, Like, yes,
- 46:32Speaker 1: promotion wise, money wise, entrepreneur wise. Of course, my man's
- 46:36Speaker 1: got a fucking like a Lamborghini yacht, right. He wins
- 46:40Speaker 1: outside of the octagon, but keeping his strictly octagon. He
- 46:44Speaker 1: hasn't done shit. He beat an old man in Seroni,
- 46:47Speaker 1: and hats off to Seroni. He's the true American right
- 46:49Speaker 1: like legend. But he knocked him out. But that's been it.
- 46:52Speaker 1: He hadn't beat anybody worth a shit since two thoy
- 46:56Speaker 1: and sixteen, right, So I think you've got a plane
- 46:59Speaker 1: to that. You gotta have some of these mind games
- 47:00Speaker 1: played on your head because you're not gonna beat McGregor
- 47:03Speaker 1: on the mic. You're not gonna beat McGregor on the mic.
- 47:05Speaker 1: You've got to have some type of comeback where whether
- 47:08Speaker 1: you're playing into what he hasn't done in years past,
- 47:13Speaker 1: and you got to let him do his thing, and
- 47:15Speaker 1: then I think, like we were talking about earlier, but
- 47:19Speaker 1: let him be the showman and kind of like you know,
- 47:21Speaker 1: talk about him like being great outside of the octagon,
- 47:24Speaker 1: but like how Mike said he responded to him on
- 47:26Speaker 1: social media, I'll do whatever I want, whenever I want.
- 47:29Speaker 1: He's responded to something else. But you find your moment
- 47:32Speaker 1: to time something up like that. Because Mike's had more
- 47:35Speaker 1: success than the Octagon recently than McGregor has. You just
- 47:37Speaker 1: got to find a way to do it and be like, yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 1: do your thing, promote the spice other this, you are
- 47:40Speaker 1: the cash cow, trust me, and kind of try to
- 47:43Speaker 1: play those kind of games versus trying to go toast
- 47:46Speaker 1: because he would catch me off with stuff like that, like.
- 47:49Speaker 2: You almost you almost got this, or of.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Like you're fighting Connor McGregor and he's got that mystique
- 47:56Speaker 1: of Donna McGregor.
- 47:58Speaker 2: A you're just standing in there with ca Yeah, and
- 48:01Speaker 2: he suited and booted. He'll do what you're told, like,
- 48:03Speaker 2: oh fuck, And then so what he would have gotten
- 48:07Speaker 2: my ass? Like like what the fuck have you doing?
- 48:09Speaker 1: But if say I would have responded like that, say
- 48:12Speaker 1: in the realm of a good response, but I would
- 48:14Speaker 1: have been actually emotionally reacted.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Like I would have been in my head, would have
- 48:18Speaker 2: been everywhere.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been on my toes, like having something cool,
- 48:22Speaker 1: calm and collected, like I need to get it outside
- 48:24Speaker 1: of the room and kind of use the social media.
- 48:27Speaker 2: That's what.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yeah, he got that swag. Dude, he's just been doing it.
- 48:33Speaker 1: He's been doing it so long.
- 48:35Speaker 3: But what about the clip that was in another teaser
- 48:38Speaker 3: when McGregor just shoves Mike's face.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I don't know. You gotta do what you can to
- 48:42Speaker 2: scrap right there, right, that's what you're doing. You have to.
- 48:46Speaker 1: You have to the way you shoved him, it looks
- 48:48Speaker 1: like Mike number one, like damn, he kind of pushed
- 48:52Speaker 1: our boy f like in the fucking face, like he's
- 48:54Speaker 1: up there. You know, we're making good TV and everything else.
- 48:57Speaker 1: But he goes and fucking bitches you like that. And
- 49:00Speaker 1: I'm not saying he bitched out or anything else, but
- 49:02Speaker 1: you he tries to disrespect you like that with around everybody,
- 49:06Speaker 1: with cameras on and everything else. You know, people are
- 49:08Speaker 1: already there and they're not gonna let you fight, but
- 49:10Speaker 1: you gotta do your best to be trying to jump
- 49:12Speaker 1: over the fucking octagon and go get him.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Right. Yeah, maybe he does in the hull clip.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe he does. But I'm just saying, like, but
- 49:19Speaker 1: we knew this was gonna happen. We know social media
- 49:22Speaker 1: and the love that McGregor has outside of the act.
- 49:25Speaker 2: The guy like the dude's elete.
- 49:27Speaker 1: He's a plus plus plus when it comes to shit
- 49:28Speaker 1: talking and you almost you're ready to see that back
- 49:31Speaker 1: and forth with McGregor because he is good at that shit.
- 49:34Speaker 1: But you gotta find your lanes. Like what Chailer should do.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I think he should hire us to run on social media.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I think we would. I think I think if he
- 49:43Speaker 1: wants think we go toes on social media.
- 49:45Speaker 3: If he wants to maximize his brand, Yeah, that's what
- 49:48Speaker 3: he would do.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I think you contract out busting with the boys and
- 49:50Speaker 1: our team, and I think we will get you, right
- 49:54Speaker 1: media microphone, Yeah yeah, hand over your password, Mike, Well
- 49:57Speaker 1: the boys will get Yeah, we will take it from here.
- 49:59Speaker 1: You folks us on whooping his ass in the octa guy,
- 50:01Speaker 1: because that will be an electric fight. But as far
- 50:04Speaker 1: as outside the octa eid, maybe, you know, maybe let
- 50:07Speaker 1: the boys get it. Maybe let the boys get it
- 50:09Speaker 1: when it comes to not being on the microphone in
- 50:11Speaker 1: terms of social media antics and everything else, the ball
- 50:15Speaker 1: is in your court.
- 50:15Speaker 2: That is our offer.
- 50:19Speaker 8: Ain't even happening yet, Like I mean McGregor hasn't entered
- 50:23Speaker 8: the pool.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Yet testing No, I mean McGregor's juiced up to the gills.
- 50:29Speaker 1: I think that's pretty well known. You see his photos
- 50:32Speaker 1: his head like, yes, his face although maybe not bigger,
- 50:36Speaker 1: but it's inflame, like it's puffy, like the dude just
- 50:40Speaker 1: you know, I know in person it looks a lot different.
- 50:42Speaker 1: But you know, he's been on that stuff because he's
- 50:44Speaker 1: been doing that movie whatever, what was that, what's the
- 50:46Speaker 1: name Roadhouse?
- 50:50Speaker 3: But yeah, I think it's good because usually I think
- 50:54Speaker 3: you would be worried about McGregor, like maybe not falling through.
- 50:57Speaker 3: But I think since he's dropping a documentary on Wednesday.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Since this show is coming out, it makes the most
- 51:05Speaker 3: business sense for him to fight Mike. Yeah, that's why
- 51:08Speaker 3: I think ultimately it will happen. It might not happen
- 51:10Speaker 3: in September. It probably definitely won't happen in September, but
- 51:14Speaker 3: maybe like December.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Right, you think December? Yeah, I mean, good drag on, man,
- 51:19Speaker 1: I hope it soon.
- 51:20Speaker 2: It could be like the last card of the year
- 51:22Speaker 2: type thing. Yeah.
- 51:24Speaker 4: I mean we're almost halfway into the year and he
- 51:25Speaker 4: hasn't tested so.
- 51:28Speaker 2: But I mean, I think they'll figure that out.
- 51:29Speaker 1: To you the six months. It's kind of McGregor. You're
- 51:33Speaker 1: trying to pack a fucking arena, you know what I mean.
- 51:37Speaker 1: It's like, hey, baby, we made it, fuck it hell
- 51:40Speaker 1: yeah we did.
- 51:42Speaker 2: The McGregor's made us rich. Yeah then McGregor, yes.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Again, let him let him play into that, you know
- 51:49Speaker 1: what I mean, what else do we have cooking? I
- 51:51Speaker 1: know we can do pet People of the Week. We've
- 51:52Speaker 1: been rolling for like an hour.
- 51:54Speaker 7: Boss was sending them about how they've come to an
- 51:56Speaker 7: agreement on the forty I mean not forty nine ers,
- 51:58Speaker 7: the Washington Command deal that it's official.
- 52:02Speaker 1: I guess yeah, man, it's time to get the jerseys
- 52:04Speaker 1: back out. I think I think I can start rooting
- 52:06Speaker 1: for the Washington Commanders again. HTTR two I die. But
- 52:11Speaker 1: I think this is awesome news for the city. I
- 52:13Speaker 1: think the city they're obsessed with it.
- 52:15Speaker 2: They love it.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Everybody's been waiting on Snyder to sell the team, whether
- 52:18Speaker 1: people are wearing trash bags at the at the stadium
- 52:21Speaker 1: or not not filling up the stands or other teams
- 52:24Speaker 1: having a home game at FedEx Field. I think this
- 52:27Speaker 1: is a massive move and I think Josh Harris, Magic
- 52:30Speaker 1: Johnson and that team will get it going in the
- 52:33Speaker 1: right direction. I think everybody's excited, and that's what you
- 52:35Speaker 1: need to build right now is excitement. And Washington has
- 52:37Speaker 1: a good roster. They can make some noise this year
- 52:40Speaker 1: in the NFC East. I think it will be tough
- 52:42Speaker 1: with with the Eagles and then you got the Cowboys
- 52:44Speaker 1: and I think the Giants are good.
- 52:47Speaker 2: But I think the.
- 52:47Speaker 1: NFC East will be tough again. But again, Washington now
- 52:50Speaker 1: is a good roster. Snyder has sold the team. The
- 52:54Speaker 1: excitement is absolutely maximized for that city, and if you
- 52:59Speaker 1: win in that they will love the ship out of you, dude.
- 53:02Speaker 1: So I am stoked for the d m V that
- 53:06Speaker 1: whole area in uh Northern Virginia, DC area, because again,
- 53:12Speaker 1: it builds excitement, and I think that everybody was ready
- 53:15Speaker 1: for that transaction that happened.
- 53:18Speaker 2: I know, I'm excited. I'm excited root for the boys.
- 53:21Speaker 1: There's always a part of me like there there's stuffing
- 53:24Speaker 1: happens directly to me, but my wife being a part
- 53:27Speaker 1: of the cheer squad and stuff coming out and you know,
- 53:30Speaker 1: the whole well, there's a lot of stories with Snyder
- 53:32Speaker 1: and just you see the reaction and the pulse of
- 53:35Speaker 1: the city and how everyone ultimately wants it to be
- 53:38Speaker 1: sold and everybody hates Snyder, right.
- 53:42Speaker 2: And it's tough. Man Like.
- 53:44Speaker 1: Each year they've asked me to come back for a game,
- 53:47Speaker 1: and I've always acted somewhat excited, right, But there's always
- 53:49Speaker 1: been a part of me like, ah, just don't know
- 53:52Speaker 1: if I like it's the right like time. Now that
- 53:55Speaker 1: now that they're up out of it, I can't wait
- 53:58Speaker 1: to help champion the boys. And we should get the
- 54:01Speaker 1: We should get the pot out there for training camp.
- 54:03Speaker 1: Maybe do a training camp stop out in out in
- 54:05Speaker 1: DC or out in Virginia and interview some of the
- 54:09Speaker 1: guys and talk about some of the the energy, the
- 54:11Speaker 1: new energy that is that is now in DC.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Here's one question for you.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Would will donate in ACL if it meant Taylor could
- 54:20Speaker 3: play at a high level for two more years?
- 54:22Speaker 2: No?
- 54:23Speaker 1: No, absolutely donat an ACL, Like I gotta go through surgery.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I need my a cls man we.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Or what Taylor said. You can run the clip in
- 54:34Speaker 1: the middle of me saying this. But when Taylor we
- 54:37Speaker 1: talked about Taylor sixteen million, would he give up a
- 54:39Speaker 1: million for me to be on the team? And he
- 54:40Speaker 1: said no, the.
- 54:42Speaker 2: Chance will comes back is we'll give him a million
- 54:44Speaker 2: of yours. Yeah, you would say no, Yep, that's tough
- 54:48Speaker 2: to hear. Hey, but listen, it's just business. If I
- 54:52Speaker 2: get the upside, we can we can talk.
- 54:53Speaker 1: We can talk some business now, Like if I'm able
- 54:57Speaker 1: to like if Taylor was about that, right, if I
- 54:58Speaker 1: give up my a cl for him to have a
- 55:00Speaker 1: what was the question.
- 55:02Speaker 3: Uh, it's for him to have two more years of
- 55:03Speaker 3: high level football.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we could talk.
- 55:07Speaker 1: You know, a good percentage of that contract, right, it's
- 55:11Speaker 1: more than a mill like that that could be a
- 55:12Speaker 1: business decision that we could talk about. But the immediate
- 55:15Speaker 1: reaction was no. Now that it's set in and I've
- 55:17Speaker 1: thought about it for a minute, yeah, if we worked
- 55:19Speaker 1: out something contractually through, I get the upside and I'm
- 55:23Speaker 1: earning money while he's playing and when he gets that
- 55:26Speaker 1: next big bag boys. He's a talent now, let's not
- 55:30Speaker 1: get it twisted. He's sixty seven, he can play over
- 55:32Speaker 1: three hundred pounds.
- 55:33Speaker 2: He can move.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He's gonna have a fresh ACL too. We're not talking
- 55:35Speaker 1: about any ACL. We're talking about a playoff Willie ACL.
- 55:39Speaker 1: He's gonna be moving out there. The upside of that
- 55:41Speaker 1: next bag sign, you know, talk him into a three
- 55:44Speaker 1: year deal, maybe fifteen twenty a year. If I get
- 55:48Speaker 1: in that now we're talking, I might give that up
- 55:51Speaker 1: and go through because I'm gonna bounce back from an
- 55:53Speaker 1: ACL about four to six months. There's no question in
- 55:55Speaker 1: my mind. There's no question in my mind. I'm sitting
- 55:57Speaker 1: on here now with the vocal course that I do
- 55:59Speaker 1: still perform. I'm back from an ACL. Not in a
- 56:02Speaker 1: year's time. We're talking four to six months because the
- 56:04Speaker 1: mental is a little bit different.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Let's talk about factor boys.

- 57:18Speaker 1: That was an ad read and a half.
- 57:19Speaker 2: Right there.
- 57:19Speaker 1: Let's get into our pet peeve the week.
- 57:22Speaker 4: I think we have a couple fan questions.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Okay, let's hit fan questions. Love that working it?
- 57:27Speaker 3: Yeah, we got one and I guess everybody could kind
- 57:29Speaker 3: of answer this one. But if you could live as
- 57:32Speaker 3: any movie character from any movie in real life, who
- 57:35Speaker 3: would it be?
- 57:37Speaker 2: Say that again and they can answer first.
- 57:39Speaker 3: This comes from Brian Boudet, which is a epic last name.
- 57:44Speaker 3: But if you could live as any movie character from
- 57:47Speaker 3: any movie in real life, who would it be?
- 57:50Speaker 1: From any movie in real life? So that we're not
- 57:53Speaker 1: you can't be a superhero?
- 57:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 57:56Speaker 4: Who?
- 57:56Speaker 1: No?
- 57:56Speaker 2: You like? I mean you could be.
- 57:59Speaker 3: Yeah, not animated? Okay in that role? Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 58:05Speaker 3: you're the character. I wish I could take this one.
- 58:08Speaker 3: This The guy in his tweet said, example, choosing Tony
- 58:11Speaker 3: Stark because he is Ironman, a billionaire and has a
- 58:14Speaker 3: hot wife.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, I'm trying to think of all these superheroes.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I feel like those are I feel like those are
- 58:19Speaker 1: easy grabs. So I was trying to think of something else.
- 58:21Speaker 1: But that is That's a great one. It's started to
- 58:23Speaker 1: be Rocky. Yeah, but Rocky, like.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Rocky. Have you watched the Rocky movies? A lot
- 58:29Speaker 2: of soft people? Have you watched this? Like you don't
- 58:32Speaker 2: like truly embody the Rocky.
- 58:34Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no no, I'm just saying no. I'm
- 58:37Speaker 1: just saying, have you seen all the Rocky movies?
- 58:39Speaker 2: Yes, I've seen all six?
- 58:43Speaker 1: Like my man signs over the power of attorney to
- 58:45Speaker 1: somebody else and loses all his money.
- 58:46Speaker 2: And it has to work to get it back.
- 58:48Speaker 1: After Rocky four, when he went to fight for his
- 58:50Speaker 1: country against the Russian and beat him, the man was
- 58:52Speaker 1: on Steroi's the most loved guy in the world.
- 58:53Speaker 2: They're changing his name.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Only to come back to America realize he's got insane
- 58:57Speaker 1: brain damage and he should never fight again, and learn
- 59:00Speaker 1: that he signed over a power of attorney and lost
- 59:02Speaker 1: all his money. He's got to go back to Philly
- 59:05Speaker 1: and live in the slums again.
- 59:07Speaker 2: If you haven't see Rocky, you just got to listen
- 59:09Speaker 2: to that.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Try to keep his son at home, and his son
- 59:11Speaker 1: just hates being at home. That where you're going out
- 59:14Speaker 1: when you come back whenever, like massive disrespect.
- 59:18Speaker 2: I'm bad man. And then the train who's he trained?
- 59:23Speaker 2: What's that dude's name? Michael B.
- 59:26Speaker 4: Jordan?
- 59:26Speaker 1: No, No, not not Michael B. Jordan, No not Creed.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I'm talking Tommy Gunn. You're training Tommy Gunn. Tommy Gunn
- 59:34Speaker 1: leaves you. Tommy Gunn leaves you to go with another
- 59:37Speaker 1: trainer because he wants the fast track to the championship.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Sooner ends up getting the title, right, he ends up.
- 59:43Speaker 1: And then Tommy Gunn comes back in the bar like
- 59:45Speaker 1: you know, you were never gonna you never want to.
- 59:47Speaker 1: You always wanted me to be in your shadow. And
- 59:49Speaker 1: Rocky's like, no, Tommy, like I loved you like a son.
- 59:53Speaker 1: I loved you like a son, like it's one of
- 59:54Speaker 1: my own. And he's like, you know, tries to get
- 59:56Speaker 1: him the don king guy, tries to get him the
- 59:58Speaker 1: fight in the ring, and h you know, Paulie starts
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: calling him a bump and uh. He tries to get him.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: He tries to tall Rocky and they coming in the
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: ring and promoting that fight, and Rockies like my rings
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: outside and beats the fuck out of Tommy Gun.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Then in Rocky six, you're in a you're you're in
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: a you're in a.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Uh, you're in a situation, Rocky Bowboy, you're in a
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: situation like George Foreman. You're coming back and kind of
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: fighting not for charity, but your son still hates you
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: because you're going back in it's always all about you.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You lose your wife, like you lost your wife, and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: they're trying to get some stuff out of the basement.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Like he's still living in that life. He's got a
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: little bar, easy simple life. Rocky can live that way.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: And then you go on to Creed and create Michael B.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Jordan bounchers you out of the films. You can't even
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: create on the films kind of life is that? No,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I don't want to be Rocky to answer your question. No,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: mass Yeah, what.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Was your answer though?
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: I think Brad Cooper's characterizing that.
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: That's a tough beginning and end though too.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, but I also really get in middle.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Yeah, why don't you tell us about that? Movie. Will
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: you're right about the end.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: There's part of me like when I said that, I'm like, man,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: do we get to be like do I have the
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: unlimited pills like for eternity? If not? That is a
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: but at the end, doesn't he find a way like
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: there's like.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: Does he like fix it where there's like no hangover
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: or something something?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I thought there was something like that. You know, he
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: created a TV show off that too Limitless.
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: I thinks the TV show would you guys be I'm
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: either going Jack Sparrow because he's just he's out there
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: just living life on his own terms, out on the
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: open seas, absolutely dunking on Commodore Norrington whenever he gets
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: a chance, always like around beautiful women or I feel
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: like the lowest hanging fruit is Vincent Chase or a
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: boy Vinnie Chase from Entourage movie.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: That's a tough life to beat, but.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Yeah, a tough left to be upset at.
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: I'm gonna be down Toretto? Why down Tredo Lesson? No
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: one else said I just watched.
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: The original Fast and Furious last night.
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: And it was just raising right, so much fun?
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: Did you see going around Twitter? Like what part of
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: Fast and furious. Did you realize, all right, I'm done
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: with this?
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: Is it when when he dives and catches Letty over
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: the thing or we're like a three hundred foot.
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: Highways, Yeah, Chris and Tyres were in space when Duayne
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: like held the helicopter by just a.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Chain, and when they're like going from building to building
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: on like the one hundred and eightieth Florida.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Yes, god Fast X comes out Friday. And when they're
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: flying the plane.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, And when they're flying the plane and Domb
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: and the rock and all these guys are fighting inside
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: of the cargo.
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Just insane. They are, they are supers now it's it's
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Indiana Jones could be cool. Oh man, what are some
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: other good ones? I feel like Star Wars would be
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: a good one. Yeah, living the guy Mitd said Star
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Wars is dumb. For anybody that didn't hear.
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: Him, Plaine, what are you a Star Trek guy, Mike?
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: No, I am a har Potter guy, Harry Potter. Is
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: that the war that goes on Star Wars and Harry
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Potter wars Harry Potter? Isn't it not? No?
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: I like both, Yeah, I like both of the I
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: will I will take Harry Potter over Star Wars, but
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: I don't.
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: I'm not discrediting Star Wars.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: I've never watched anything stupid right now, so you better
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: hurry it up. I never watched any of Star Wars.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: I just never had any inclination or want to watch
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: the Star Wars.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: I just I'm not into it. What was this comment? Again?
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Star Wars is dumb?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: How are you gonna say that? How you gonna say
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: it's dumb when you've never seen it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: I've just never wanted to, Like, I just think like
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: the sci fi about it all.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Playing it being dumb, that sci fi go talk about
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: your wiz. There's a fucking one.
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: Throwing that's like magic and ship and I think that's
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: cooler than like fucking going like this, and the person starts.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Choking force choking. Let's grow up here. Do you think
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: force choking is stupid? Yes?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: But doing it with a wand is it? I think
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I think the like building defense orbs around you just like.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: It's magic stuff. I think that I think that stuff
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: is cooler.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: And being one with the.
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Force, yeah, and and and trying to marry like nature
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to like a lot of philosophies that are.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Taught in Star Wars.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Yes, you sound stupid, and there's not There's not a
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: out there that would fit your head.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Please pass the place. I think it would look like
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: a little birthday had on your head. Dude.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: That is a good question though, for the Internet. If
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: you had to get rid of one series, which would
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: you get rid of? Harry Potter or Star Wars?
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Hey that and when? When? When Jack was saying that too,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: I was like, man, that is a question.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: It doesn't all answer right after I got first if
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I'm getting rid of Let's.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Have the question again.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: If you had to choose between Harry Potter and Star Wars,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: which universe, which would it be?
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: See Harry Potter espelling almost as they say.
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: I will agree. I'm gonna stick with Star Wars. I
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: just feel like there's in less possibilities in that world.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I agree with you guys, man, Like I think as
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: far as the up to date and the movie writing
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: and everything else, I think Harry Potter is fucking awesome.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: They do a great job. But the universe of Star Wars,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: yeah twice, three times, ten times, one hundred times bigger.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: You can do way more stuff and there's way more
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I think it's it's it's better storylines. It sucks because
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: it's so that's a tough one.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: It is tough. I think Harry Potter's awesome. Got to answer.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: And if you have to pick out.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: The riots at Universal and Disney, I'm picking Harry Potter.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: We know where I'm at. I'm picking. I'm keeping Harry Potter.
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: Yeah, we know, Bluss, I'm interested to hear Jack. Yeah,
- 1:06:15Speaker 8: I'm picking. I'm picking Star Wars. I grew up with
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: Star Wars. But for all the same reasons too. You said, like,
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: you know, the philosophy behind it, the storylines, it does, characters.
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: It doesn't get any better than that.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: The light and the dark.
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: You just said, the storylines and the characters. For Harry Potter,
- 1:06:33Speaker 7: the first one for me came out I was in
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: first grade and they were like my age or like
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: ten years old or whatever. And then we grow for
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: almost a decade and a half and you see this
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: character development and they grow with you. To me, that special,
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: I have to stand with Harry Potter.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: I grew up with all like Ron and Harry and
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Hermione and the whole game.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Grew up with Star Wars two a little bit.
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: The first Stars came out like nineteen, like eighty nine
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: or something.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm saying like some of the new worlds
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: that they've introduced.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: I like the new series. I liked like Rogue ones
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: and the new characters they developed. I wasn't the biggest
- 1:07:09Speaker 7: Star Wars fan as a kid. I was more of
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: a Harry Potter fan, But as the new ones have
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: come out, I really liked them. And I agree with
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: y'all though, like there's more possibilities because the universe is
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: so much bigger in that world.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: But I solely I just couldn't give up Harry Potter.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: It's not that I'm giving up Star Wars. I just
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: cannot give up Harry Potter. So for that reason, I
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: will be sticking.
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: With Lord Voldemort or Darth Vader. I mean that's tough too.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: They're just like both the antithesis of evil.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Are you saying, like a better villain? Yeah, probably Darth Vader.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: See Darth Maul.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: I think for that argument, I would kind of have
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: to go Voltimore because there are so many Darth Maul
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: Darth everybody.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Yeah, but the the elite of the elite, And not
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: only that, but like.
- 1:08:03Speaker 7: Crime to say Voldemort's name. In the Harry Potter World,
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: everyone says Darth Vader, but if you even say Voltemore, people.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Do not speak his name.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: They did a good job with that, They did a
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: good job with that. But I still think Vader. I mean, yeah,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: when you talk about the whole growing up stuff like that,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Like you think, you know, you're reading about Anakin Skywalker
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: some of these magazines when you're young, and he's like
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: he's driving one of those calls when he was racing
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: pod racers. Dude, when he's pod racing and he's young
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: and growing up, and you kind of just see the
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: transition to Darth Vader. You don't get that Voldemort and
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: then like, dude, the dude what Tom Riddle? Yeah, but
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: there's not like, uh, it's not like Star Wars. No, Yeah,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: you arnout you learn about it a little bit, but yeah,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: you're not seeing the.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Development.
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: I felt like he was evil the whole time Anakin
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: had there was a time when there was good in them.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: In Lord Citi is with Senator Palpatine like hiding in
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: playing sight as evil, transitioning and against Skywalker into Darth Vader,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: like manipulating him, and you don't really put it together.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I know I didn't because I wasn't like a I
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: wasn't like you know, the older generation that Star Wars
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: junkie that knew Palpatine was Sidious. So when I'm young
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: going to these movies in theaters and you start realizing, like, yo,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: their voices are kind of similar, and you put it
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: together that like Palpatine is Lord Sidius, and then he
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: transitions Vader and he kills our boy Samuel L.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Jackson in the hallway and then als those.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Kids like and against Skywalker is a fucking evil motherfucker.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: What should we think about doing like a bust in
- 1:09:37Speaker 7: movie club where like once a month we let the
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: fans know we're gonna watch this movie so.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: That we can just that would be fun.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I think people would like, maybe I need to hear
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: in the comments, drop comments, Yeah, start saying movies.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Who Yeah, I'm winging in that battle.
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: If you took the Harry Potter world versus the Star
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: Wars world, who's winning. It's tough to beat magic but
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: the Force, Yeah, and you got fucking laser guns?
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, bro? I think I mean, who's taking Yoda?
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Who's beating Yoda?
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: Dobby, and you.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Gotta think of the characters like like, Yo, Luke Skywalker
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: is body bagging Harry.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: Yeah, bro oh bro, Harry is the chosen one. Yeah,
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: but he gets so lucky all his movies. Oh, that's
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: part of his gift. He's a baby and beat the
- 1:10:28Speaker 7: greatest Wizard of all time.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Luke's a bad motherfucker.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Now, Ray would God I love you Jack? Ray? Would
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: I have one.
- 1:10:40Speaker 7: More question before we to go to pet Peeve? And
- 1:10:42Speaker 7: it's all any more ads by the way, Yeah, we do,
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: we can do one.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: We interrupt this episode to bring you Duke Cannon. Warmer
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: weather is here, Warmer weather is upon us, and things

- 1:11:38Speaker 1: the boys at Duke Cannon.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: But I do have one more question, super easy, but
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: I've been seeing this on Twitter whenever we ask for
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: fan questions.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: Is cereal soup?
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: No?
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Explain, It's just not soup. So cereal is cold? Soup
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: is hot? End of discussion.
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: Show is cold soup? What spots? You never had it?
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: Well it's cold soup. They it's cold soup. Well you
- 1:12:03Speaker 7: can call it. Look I'm not I'm not defending this side.
- 1:12:06Speaker 7: I just want why you think cereal is not soup?
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: The parameters of soup is hot? What's the what's the caspacho?
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Spatcho gaspacho is used to stand alone. It's just gotta
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: be called gaspacho.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: No, that's that's just like chicken noodle.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Like you know, they could say finish it, finish it, yes.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: Chicken little soup.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: You can watch soup. No, brother, we're not all right.
- 1:12:29Speaker 7: Please in the comments tell if gaspacho soup is super.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: I just want to know why cereal is not soup
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: from you?
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, because cereals cold?
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: That's it?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, anybody what else is gaspacho sweet? I don't
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: know what gaspacho is.
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: It's cold soup.
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: Hype it in look so like if my chicken noodle
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: soup is cold, is it just gaspacho?
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: Oh, it's like it is a certain kind.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: I mean it has a recipe. I think with cereal
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: it's a milk based liquid.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Soup is not. Yes, I agree with you.
- 1:13:14Speaker 6: According to dictionary dot com, soup is a liquid food
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: made by boiling or simmering meat, fish, or vegetables by
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: adding various ingredients.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: So right, And what I was gonna say too, is
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: cereal simply like JP said, milk based and you're just
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: dumping cereal in the bowl. You're not combining all these
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: ingredients to create you know, whatever your little concoction is
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: of hot soup.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, you're not.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Like even even the cold soup, I know you're not.
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: You're just.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: So even the gaspacho I would have soup, I would
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: assume that you're still let me see here, made of
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: raw blended vegetables, that's a juice. So gazpacho is a
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: cold soup and drink made of raw blended vegetables.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: That's the juice. That is a juice.
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: Tomato basil soup is a juice. That's the same thing.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Tomato tomato basil soup is hot.
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: But I'm saying that's the that's the that is the
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: same thing gaspacho. And like the consistency.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: So if by Mitch's definition, like tomato basil soup, you
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: still got to combine ingredients and boil it in, you know,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: on a stove or on an oven, is that what
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: it is?
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: So soaf top, Yeah, under a flame, over a flame.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: If you're making a cold soup, if you're not doing
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: anything and you're just blending vegetables together to make a
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: thin consistency, a soupy consistency, like you're explaining, that is
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: by definition a juice.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Think about it. Think of when you're juicing, you're fucking
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: blending up vegetables. Thank you.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: I think Garrett, I feel like Garrett. That kind of
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: backing from Garrett too makes that win, makes that a.
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: I don't think that's cerealss soup. I think that milk
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: in the soup, which is giving the whole like soup argument.
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: That is just an add on. The cereal is the
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: physical grain or whatever you're eating.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: But the physical grain like ceial.
- 1:15:17Speaker 4: A lot of serials made out of grain.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: I just I like hearing Jack talk through this.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Was you're you're you're trying to make me sound stupid when.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Cereal is grain. I think it's funny to hear physical grain.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and the milk is the pairing that gives it
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: whatever the soup argument.
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: All right, so what's that? Are you on your own cereal?
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: Cereal soup is no? I like ago, cereal is not soup.
- 1:15:44Speaker 7: I'm on your team. Okay, But gaspacho is cool soup,
- 1:15:49Speaker 7: just to be.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: Clear once you have some. But but do you not
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: agree that it should be gaspacho juice? What do you mean?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: And look at all the ingredients in gas spot show?
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: All right, let's go best get spots spots and let's
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: go around for a pet peev of the week.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: What do you what do you got say?
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: Should we do best soups on Thursday? I've been wonder
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: until it's we got best soups? I think there's a
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: god to here for soup.
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: It's the fall.
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: We're not like eating soup right now? Do you eat
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: or do you drink soup? That's another we'll say that
- 1:16:40Speaker 7: for next.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Week, all right. Pet peeve of the week? Gee, whoever
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: started off?
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: My pet peeve of the week is when somebody doesn't
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: put the top all the way back on, whatever it is,
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: whether it's screwed snap. Like you know, you can be
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: at a coffee shop, you get a coffee, it's not
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: all the way you grab it. That could ruin your
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: right then and there could be screwed on. You go
- 1:17:04Speaker 5: to grab the lid and it's just not screwed on.
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: That can also ruin your day. So people, screw the
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: fucking tops back on.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: Please? Oh yeah, people screw the fucking tops back on.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Go ahead, Mitch. People that love Star Wars.
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: My pep peep of the week goes to repeating myself.
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: So if I like, if I'm talking to somebody and
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: they keep going, what, like what my parents do it
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: to me all the time because they's I guess it's
- 1:17:34Speaker 6: just because my voice is so deep and I sort
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: of mumble sometimes that like I have to repeat myself
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: like three or four times before they finally hear me.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: That just it drives me absolutely insane. And like my
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: roommate does it to me as well. So it's like, dude,
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: just hear me the first time. I'm not saying it again.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: That sounds like you got a little bit like a
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: lisp combination. I do have a lisp. But so are
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: you mad that you have to repeat yourself? Or you
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: mad that you talk the way you do? Mad that
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: I have to repeat myself.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: It sounds like a problem that you can fix if
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you just elaborate.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: No, I'm not changing. You can hear me. Yeah maybe not.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: There we go. That's the wa we're looking for nunciation.
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: Thank you JP.
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Oh boy, I start elaborating those words more, man, what's
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: wrong with you?
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Ah? Just me just a file of shit? I say wrong.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: My pet peeve of the week goes to people. Unless
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: your dog is old, you should not be carrying it
- 1:18:49Speaker 3: while on a walk. I hate seeing people outdoors holding
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: their dog as they're on a walk and they have
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: a leash on the dog too, Well, what are you
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: actually doing, Like are you getting a workout in or
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: I mean it is your dog just like this soft
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: that can't be on the concrete and if it is,
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: it shouldn't be outside to be inside dog.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I feel you.
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: I'm with you, brother, Yeah, I mean if they're overheated,
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: if it's a medical thing, sure, but like it takes
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: a lot for a dog to get overheated.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, just it bugs me. Don't be carrying your dog
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: around JP. That boy will be pissed off.
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: My pet peeve of the week goes to, uh, those
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: people who just don't understand personal space. So you could
- 1:19:40Speaker 8: be in a line waiting to get some food and
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: they just are coming right back on you where you
- 1:19:45Speaker 8: can just feel them breathing on you, or if you're talking.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: And they're just right in you.
- 1:19:51Speaker 8: Mad So yeah, my pet peeve is definitely those people
- 1:19:56Speaker 8: just don't understand personal space, all.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Right, right, don't be breathing on my fucking neck, especially
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: in the ana. Yeah. Hey, here's the thing though, do
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: you ever say anything? No, I don't know, No, I
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: don't it's do I want to go pick up that mic? No, No,
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: I don't. I don't have one this week.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: I'm I'm just kind of I'm floating by right now.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: DP. What's your pet beeve.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Word?
- 1:20:38Speaker 7: No, honestly, I do have one, but it's like very specific,
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: and it's when people say the term KK, like KK
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: and then like.
- 1:20:47Speaker 4: Walk with you.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like people say it out loud. I hate
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: it in text me too.
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: But if you've ever heard it out loud, I get
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: I will get like visibly angry.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: No.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: I look, it could be a guy or a girl
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: saying this. I'm not you know what I mean. But
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: if you say KK and then walk off somewhere, everything you've.
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: Just said to me is now out the window, and
- 1:21:10Speaker 7: I don't care about your life forever.
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: And I am now boiling trying to figure out how
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: I kill you.
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: Maybe I do have one, so please do not take KK.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Or in text.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I hate K in text too. That's one you type
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: K in text either. One My pet peeve of the
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: week old people drivers, senior citizens on the road. I
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: strongly believe that once you get over a certain age,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: let's just say.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Fifty fifty five, okay, I'll move to fifty five. Once
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: you turn.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Fifty five, you should have to take the driver's test
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: every year.
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: Five.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Oh take what a couple hours out of your day?
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Amen to go to go hit a retest to be
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: on the road. I can't wait till Will is fifty
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: five and has to go to the DMV. No, No,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: a couple hours out of your day. I'm out of
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: time out. Now we're solving. Now, we're solving solving operational problems.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: We can figure that out to where they're not sitting
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: at the DMV. Like maybe there's just a business that
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: opens it up. Yeah, you go online, but you still
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: have to drive. Like, I'm so sick of these old
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: people out here. Like, okay, maybe let me reframe. Maybe
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: we go up to sixty sixty five?
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: Have you as soon as you hit the senior citizen
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: I was gonna say, I think it's like sixty five.
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: Okay, let me start that over.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: When you turn sixty five and become a legal senior
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: citizen and reap the benefits of what social security?
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: You get an extra hot dog in line or some shit.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: You get to go to them halls that they all
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: go to and drink a beer you should have to
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: retest annually for your driver's license because these old people
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: out the.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Road are a liability. Yeah, I agree.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: And they're just slow as fuck. It's like, just get
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: out of the fucking way.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: And when you're like trying to figure something out and
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: you just see one slowly drive by you and you're like,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: they have no fucking clue that I'm here right now.
- 1:23:15Speaker 5: You ever pull up getting ready to give someone a bird,
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: and then you're like, oh damn, some old lady.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Yeah, they're old as fuck, drooling on themselves, getting that
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: meals on wheels. Don't disrespect the meals on Can we
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: not joke my grandpa's on meals on wheels. Take it
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: easy now, I'm a believer meals on wheels. I probably
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: will be eating meals on wheels, but for the fun
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: of the joke, drooling on yourself, hitting that meals on wheels,
