- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Almost Famous Podcast. We are recapping
- 0:09Speaker 2: episode seven of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. We
- 0:13Speaker 2: don't know how it's possible, but these women are sliding
- 0:17Speaker 2: into even more drama this week, so let's get into it.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Lauren's here. Happy Mother's Day, Lauren, Happy brother's day with you. Yes,
- 0:26Speaker 2: it's your first, right, it's my first.
- 0:28Speaker 3: And Ashley and I are going to be together and
- 0:32Speaker 3: we're going out to dinner alone, just the two of us,
- 0:34Speaker 3: to have a quiet dinner where no one talks and
- 0:37Speaker 3: no one cries.
- 0:38Speaker 2: And to me, great when you two decide that, is
- 0:41Speaker 2: that how it really operates.
- 0:46Speaker 3: They'll probably be a little bit of talking, but nothing crazy.
- 0:49Speaker 3: You know. It's like nice when you're eating with someone,
- 0:51Speaker 3: you have no pressure to talk. You can enjoy your food.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Sure, definitely, Well you talk all day? Hey, you talk
- 0:59Speaker 2: all day?
- 0:59Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I talk all day. She talks all day. And
- 1:03Speaker 3: then also, like you know, going out to dinner with
- 1:05Speaker 3: kids sucks, so.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's tough. All right. We got episode seven of
- 1:10Speaker 2: the Real Housewives of Rhode Island. In true Ashley fashion,
- 1:15Speaker 2: Jared makes plans, and Ashley has already committed to something
- 1:20Speaker 2: very important. Jonas Brothers contest.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Yes, she literally says Saturday is no good for me.
- 1:26Speaker 3: The Jonahs Brothers are in town, like straight from the Hangover.
- 1:30Speaker 3: It's iconic And I missed that my first watch. I
- 1:33Speaker 3: watched it again and then I was like, oh my god,
- 1:35Speaker 3: that's so funny. Actually, I hope that everyone picked up
- 1:38Speaker 3: on that. It was so funny.
- 1:40Speaker 2: This this mansion trip is meant to be. I mean,
- 1:44Speaker 2: it's set up to be a vacation for everybody, right, Yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 2: it's not. Though it doesn't feel like it ever.
- 1:51Speaker 4: No, no one's enjoying themselves.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And it seems like Liz is having a really bad
- 1:55Speaker 3: time and we don't really understand why because she's not
- 1:57Speaker 3: like being as boogie as she wants to be.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure when you're like used to going on
- 2:04Speaker 2: vacation to a nice place, yeah, and then you go
- 2:08Speaker 2: on this trip and yet it's kind of planned out
- 2:10Speaker 2: for you. There's always something happening. It's just that, you know,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you don't say you're going on a vacation when you're
- 2:16Speaker 2: filming a TV show. It's not the way it works.
- 2:18Speaker 2: They're going to ask you to be in a thousand
- 2:20Speaker 2: different places all the time.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 3: I think that this is jam packed with funny things
- 2:26Speaker 3: from Ashley this episode.
- 2:28Speaker 4: I really enjoyed it.
- 2:30Speaker 3: We're seeing more of Ashley like kind of stand up
- 2:32Speaker 3: for ourselves and stand up for Rosie because I think
- 2:34Speaker 3: we open this episode up with what Rose is throwing
- 2:38Speaker 3: up all night because of the mean things that Kelsey
- 2:40Speaker 3: said to her, and we don't know if it's related
- 2:42Speaker 3: or not, but like they're all at the breakfast table
- 2:44Speaker 3: and Ashley stands up for Rosie, but then of course
- 2:47Speaker 3: ends of crime because she's uncomfortable.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it is how it's I mean, this episode kicks
- 2:53Speaker 2: off with the women kind of facetiming husbands, yeah, checking in,
- 2:59Speaker 2: talking about life, and then we do get right into
- 3:02Speaker 2: Rosie like sick. She's sick? Do you think and from
- 3:08Speaker 2: what you know, is she sick, Lauren? Is she actually
- 3:11Speaker 2: sick or is she sick really because of the stress, anxiety, sadness,
- 3:16Speaker 2: everything that's kind of encapulating like this, I.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Think it was.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I think it was stress based on everything else because
- 3:23Speaker 3: later in the day after they kind of talk it out,
- 3:25Speaker 3: she seems to be fine no more throwing up. It
- 3:27Speaker 3: was probably just like you know when you get like
- 3:29Speaker 3: a not in your stomach, And she's also kind of
- 3:31Speaker 3: like trapped there, like you can't leave really, I mean
- 3:35Speaker 3: actually did end up leaving, but like only for extreme circumstances.
- 3:40Speaker 3: So I think she probably just felt super anxious, and
- 3:42Speaker 3: I feel really.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Bad for her.
- 3:44Speaker 2: There is one thing, and I want you to tell
- 3:46Speaker 2: me if you agree. Yeah, it does feel like Liz
- 3:49Speaker 2: enjoys each person. Take away any public comments, take away
- 3:54Speaker 2: anything that's happened recently. It does seem during the show
- 3:57Speaker 2: that she is kind of feeling like she is better
- 4:00Speaker 2: word like the house mom, where, yeah, she has her
- 4:03Speaker 2: own relationship with each person some bit deeper than others.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Outside of that, you really don't seem like there's anybody
- 4:11Speaker 2: that really loves to be around everybody else.
- 4:14Speaker 4: That's true.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yeah, it seems like she does have her own relationship
- 4:17Speaker 3: with each one of the girls, and she doesn't seem
- 4:21Speaker 3: to pick sides, like like she's not automatically going to
- 4:24Speaker 3: jump with Joellen or Liz. She's gonna hear everything out
- 4:28Speaker 3: and kind of make like a rational opinion on everything.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And we also see that in the way that she
- 4:33Speaker 3: doesn't immediately believe Joellen when she shows her texts about
- 4:36Speaker 3: Rula and Brian, so she's kind of just she's friends
- 4:40Speaker 3: of all of them. And then, well, when we get
- 4:44Speaker 3: to it, I'll give a little behind the scenes of
- 4:46Speaker 3: when Ashua goes into Liz's room.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's that's the one takeaway, because we do see
- 4:53Speaker 2: Joellen and Alicia leave. We do see at some point
- 4:57Speaker 2: Liz separate from the group. There's very very few moments
- 5:00Speaker 2: that we see everybody just kind of like powering together.
- 5:03Speaker 2: If it's not on camera, it seems like once the
- 5:05Speaker 2: cameras there and everybody kind of goes their separate ways. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 2: Johanna and Alicia go into town. Interesting little note there.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Their driver that picks them up used to live in
- 5:15Speaker 2: this house during college. First off, what a.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Dorm amazing a dream.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It feels like he's playing into this haunted mansion theme
- 5:25Speaker 2: that everybody's kind of been speculating and talking about. Do
- 5:29Speaker 2: you believe in ghosts?
- 5:31Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm a huge I'm a huge fan
- 5:33Speaker 3: of ghosts. For my thirtieth birthday, Hunter rented out an
- 5:36Speaker 3: abandoned insane asylum for me to go ghost hunting in it.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Was the best day of my entire life.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Did you find one?
- 5:42Speaker 3: We felt lots of weird stuff and there was where
- 5:45Speaker 3: there's some evidence caught on EVP readers.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Very cool. Highly believe in ghosts.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Really, that's interesting. I think I do. Actually I don't
- 5:55Speaker 2: know what, like how and what capacity. I have people
- 5:59Speaker 2: that I trust in my life life that have claimed
- 6:02Speaker 2: to see them and be and so it's hard for
- 6:05Speaker 2: me to discount their story just yes, because these aren't
- 6:09Speaker 2: like fabricators, yeah, or liars. They're just people. And it's
- 6:14Speaker 2: not like they want to talk about it all the time.
- 6:15Speaker 2: It's just kind of if you get them in the
- 6:18Speaker 2: right moment, maybe they'll bring it up. So, I mean,
- 6:21Speaker 2: I think, So, I don't know about this mansion thing.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I feel like it's always the bigger the house, the
- 6:29Speaker 2: older are.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I know.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And they said a nun hung herself there, so that
- 6:35Speaker 3: immediately makes it haunted. It makes it creepier, doesn't necessarily
- 6:38Speaker 3: make it haunted. But I still love the lore and
- 6:40Speaker 3: I love that this guy lived there.
- 6:42Speaker 4: It's so random, it's.
- 6:43Speaker 2: So random and so weird. But they do go out
- 6:46Speaker 2: on their own to kind of have a like a
- 6:49Speaker 2: morning separated from the group. Well everybody else jumps into
- 6:54Speaker 2: the sliping side. But before the slip in side, we
- 6:56Speaker 2: get a conversation between Kelsey and Rosie. It's really the
- 6:59Speaker 2: first conversation that felt like it could go somewhere. Yeah beneficial.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I agree, because Liz was like, look, I know
- 7:09Speaker 3: I have a resting bitch face and that can make
- 7:13Speaker 3: everything I say kind of seems snarky, but really genuinely,
- 7:17Speaker 3: I was like, giving you a compliment and let's.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Just start fresh.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I'd love to see it because Ashley ends up leaving
- 7:23Speaker 3: later on in this episode, and I feel like that'd
- 7:25Speaker 3: be weird for Roseno to have her like emotional support
- 7:27Speaker 3: fromt there if she's still fighting with Kelsey. So it
- 7:31Speaker 3: seems like things are squashed for now obviously for like
- 7:35Speaker 3: this one twenty four hours, because in scenes to come,
- 7:38Speaker 3: they obviously get in a huge fight down the road. Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to that fight, but I am very scared.
- 7:46Speaker 3: There's like physical fights going on.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Yeah, there's like there's physical touching, which is to increase
- 7:53Speaker 2: the intensity of the fight, you know, yelling is one
- 7:57Speaker 2: thing that we've seen all season, the physical touching different.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Ashley has a big role at the beginning of this episode,
- 8:05Speaker 2: and really throughout the episode, she you can tell no
- 8:09Speaker 2: matter what all Ashley wants, here is some type of peace.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Everyone's get along.
- 8:15Speaker 3: And then she was like, maybe if everyone's kind of
- 8:18Speaker 3: like nurtured Rosie, I guess, or everyone was a little
- 8:22Speaker 3: more nurturing, we would all get along well. And then
- 8:25Speaker 3: they attack Ashley for wanting nurturing in their friendship group,
- 8:30Speaker 3: and I thought that was so weird, Like, why is
- 8:33Speaker 3: it such an awful thing to say it?
- 8:36Speaker 2: It isn't I don't think it's weird to most people.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I wonder if I want to know at this point,
- 8:43Speaker 2: maybe you can touch on it. What do they think
- 8:46Speaker 2: of Ashley at this point in the season. These girls
- 8:49Speaker 2: are obviously just getting to know her. Yeah, she was
- 8:52Speaker 2: a little quieter at the beginning, trying to get her
- 8:55Speaker 2: feet wet. She's now speaking up more. They're getting to
- 8:57Speaker 2: know more about her. What do they think of her?
- 9:01Speaker 3: I mean, I think they probably think she's like the
- 9:04Speaker 3: nicest person ever because she doesn't want to yell. She
- 9:07Speaker 3: wants to everyone just have a great time. So I
- 9:10Speaker 3: guess that could be misconstrued as like boring, but she's
- 9:16Speaker 3: obviously not boring. She's just highly emotional, and these women
- 9:18Speaker 3: are not highly emotional. They're not highly emotional in the
- 9:20Speaker 3: way that Ashley is, which is very like soft, and
- 9:25Speaker 3: they're like hard and their hard end. Because if we
- 9:30Speaker 3: even hear Joellen story, she's like, I don't want to
- 9:32Speaker 3: talk about nurturing.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I don't like nurturing.
- 9:34Speaker 3: And I'm like, well, we get into the fact that
- 9:36Speaker 3: you were sent away by your mother who was not nurturing.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I feel like it's all coming back around, like that's
- 9:42Speaker 3: why you're uncomfortable with this sensitive stuff.
- 9:45Speaker 2: It's a great point, and it's a great segue into
- 9:48Speaker 2: the Alicia and Joel and day out. We get to
- 9:50Speaker 2: know more of really Joellen story. I'd say, I mean,
- 9:54Speaker 2: Alicia touches on kind of her comments at the dinner,
- 9:58Speaker 2: but we really dig into Joellen and why she has
- 10:02Speaker 2: this angst against her mom. We've been confused by, at
- 10:06Speaker 2: least I have on this show saying hey, I get it,
- 10:08Speaker 2: maybe you don't like the person that raised you, but
- 10:12Speaker 2: it does feel like you're being extra critical without saying why.
- 10:18Speaker 2: But now we get a picture of why.
- 10:21Speaker 4: Right Yet, this was captivating.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And I want to hear kind of your breakdown of
- 10:25Speaker 2: it because Joellen in my I mean to simplify it
- 10:30Speaker 2: in a way that probably it does I mean, definitely
- 10:32Speaker 2: doesn't do it justice. She got she feels like she's
- 10:34Speaker 2: been tossed around, yeah, and never really chosen and not
- 10:38Speaker 2: chosen out of anything more than not not chosen out
- 10:41Speaker 2: of love and care more chosen out of necessity. To Hey,
- 10:47Speaker 2: either the state's going to take you or I'll take
- 10:50Speaker 2: you back. But I want to hear kind of your
- 10:52Speaker 2: breakdown of this this date that the two of them had,
- 10:54Speaker 2: where you know, maybe it goes against everything I said
- 10:59Speaker 2: last week, but I don't think trauma bonding is the
- 11:01Speaker 2: best way to build a friendship. But it does feel
- 11:03Speaker 2: like this kind of deepened their friendship.
- 11:05Speaker 4: That's true.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't believe in like trauma bonding really, but
- 11:09Speaker 3: to get to know like Joellen's past and a little
- 11:12Speaker 3: more about her and why the way she is the
- 11:14Speaker 3: way she is, it helps us. And I've always liked
- 11:17Speaker 3: Joelle and I always thought she was funny and honestly
- 11:20Speaker 3: not mean spirited, and this made me feel so bad
- 11:24Speaker 3: for her. And it's such an interesting story and you
- 11:27Speaker 3: could tell, like she's gorgeous, and I could see that
- 11:32Speaker 3: like her mom at the beginning, even with their little
- 11:34Speaker 3: interaction when she was gonna babysit, like, she probably was
- 11:37Speaker 3: just jealous of this gorgeous, outgoing girl. She didn't want
- 11:42Speaker 3: to be around her own daughter. I mean, I don't
- 11:43Speaker 3: understand that aspect, but having her sent away is really
- 11:49Speaker 3: really traumatic. And I think it's interesting that Jen was
- 11:51Speaker 3: also sent away and for not just a couple of months,
- 11:54Speaker 3: but for a year. I don't know if her mom
- 11:57Speaker 3: like just didn't want a parent, or she just didn't
- 12:00Speaker 3: want to parent someone who was like better than her,
- 12:03Speaker 3: you know, because she seems like a nice, outgoing, pretty girl,
- 12:08Speaker 3: and I think that kind of was threatening to her mom.
- 12:10Speaker 3: But that's a whole other psyche that we have to
- 12:12Speaker 3: get into down the line, because I don't get it.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it does. It does explain a lot.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I think all these women are unique in their own way.
- 12:26Speaker 2: The nurturing side of this, because Joellen wasn't nurtured as
- 12:30Speaker 2: a kid. I think what people either go two different directions.
- 12:34Speaker 2: They either overcompensate mm hmm or they don't. Are they
- 12:39Speaker 2: so unfamiliar with it they kind of push it away.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And it does now make more sense on why it
- 12:43Speaker 2: feels like Joellen has, at least the beginning, been a
- 12:46Speaker 2: little bit tougher on the exterior. But as you said,
- 12:53Speaker 2: I really thought we were going to start this season
- 12:55Speaker 2: off watch it and be like that Joellen is a
- 12:58Speaker 2: wrecking ball of havoc. I don't feel that way with this.
- 13:00Speaker 4: I don't either. I think she's so cute. I also
- 13:04Speaker 4: just feel bad now, and.
- 13:06Speaker 2: She's kind of gotten stuck into the storyline where it
- 13:11Speaker 2: was her choice, let's be clear. Yeah, but she's so
- 13:15Speaker 2: good at investigating the rule of Brian scenario that it
- 13:20Speaker 2: has become her storyline throughout, and she just keeps getting
- 13:25Speaker 2: more information. I know. It's so kind of what she's
- 13:30Speaker 2: known for at this point is exposing the truth, even
- 13:34Speaker 2: when the truth doesn't feel like it's wanted.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Correct.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think she's doing anything malicious. She literally
- 13:41Speaker 3: was asked for proof, she got proof. She should start
- 13:44Speaker 3: her own private investigation firm. I will totally love to
- 13:46Speaker 3: work for. That is a dream of mine. But yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 3: I really love Joellen really interesting story. I can't wait
- 13:56Speaker 3: to see when her and her mom kind of come
- 13:58Speaker 3: together and hash it out in front of the cameras.
- 14:13Speaker 2: The Alicia's story, I do think we got some clarity
- 14:16Speaker 2: on Also, I think her choice of being homeless maybe
- 14:20Speaker 2: wasn't the correct way to explain it. But what happened
- 14:25Speaker 2: it sounds like is her dad left them. That obviously hurts.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I don't know how that feels. I would imagine that
- 14:33Speaker 2: is really painful, especially as you get older and you
- 14:36Speaker 2: start asking the questions of why and what happened. But
- 14:41Speaker 2: when the dad left, it does sound like it was
- 14:45Speaker 2: it left Alicia and her family that was, you know,
- 14:49Speaker 2: at the home, without maybe an income, without a place
- 14:53Speaker 2: to stay, and so they had to kind of jump
- 14:55Speaker 2: around and search until they get laid on their feet again. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 2: So were they living on the street like where they
- 15:03Speaker 2: without a home? I don't think so, But.
- 15:06Speaker 3: There was nowhere for her to plant her feet and
- 15:07Speaker 3: feel secure.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Yes, And so now to me that makes more sense
- 15:12Speaker 2: I think we have. When you hear we were homeless,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you think of certain things. True, but it does feel
- 15:19Speaker 2: like she was displaced her family. I'm sure her mom
- 15:22Speaker 2: and was like searching and there's probably a lot of
- 15:25Speaker 2: emotion and fear around what was next. And luckily they
- 15:29Speaker 2: had some family members that took them in yeah, but
- 15:33Speaker 2: this is like their their separation from the group. Does
- 15:36Speaker 2: feel like we got a lot of clarity in the
- 15:38Speaker 2: two of them. Yep, why they are the way they are.
- 15:40Speaker 3: I thought it was gonna be boring because I hate
- 15:41Speaker 3: when people separate. They're like, let's just talk about a
- 15:43Speaker 3: little stupid and I was like, this is so interesting.
- 15:46Speaker 3: It's more interesting than the water slides kind of.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah, the water slide. The water slide had its own purpose.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Obviously that's going on back at the mansion. It does
- 15:58Speaker 2: seem like Rosie and Ashley the two that love it
- 16:00Speaker 2: the most. They have a lot of scenes going down it,
- 16:03Speaker 2: their children, enjoying themselves. I was fearful, Lauren. In the preview,
- 16:09Speaker 2: it shows Ashley hitting the end of the slide. It
- 16:12Speaker 2: looked very painful. That never really happened. The only really
- 16:17Speaker 2: big moment from this was that Ashley accredits the tremendous
- 16:21Speaker 2: work of laser hair removal to her comfortability on the
- 16:25Speaker 2: water slide. So hey, she didn't mention the brand and
- 16:29Speaker 2: the name and the doctor or whatever it is that
- 16:31Speaker 2: does that, but congratulations to me.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Have free session. I needed.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Or helping Ashley know that she was safe, secure and sound.
- 16:41Speaker 2: On national television.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I was watching this with Hunter and he's like, I
- 16:43Speaker 4: don't get it. What does she mean?
- 16:45Speaker 3: I was like, she means that her bathing suit is
- 16:46Speaker 3: going to go one way or the other and it's
- 16:47Speaker 3: not going to cover everything.
- 16:49Speaker 4: He was a little confused.
- 16:50Speaker 2: We get a lot of vulnerability from Ashley, and really,
- 16:53Speaker 2: this whole season, you can think about so many moments
- 16:56Speaker 2: where these women are talking about things that at our life,
- 17:01Speaker 2: things but you don't bring up, or you hide, or
- 17:04Speaker 2: you push aside. I think it's hilarious. Yeah, to see
- 17:08Speaker 2: all these women continue to say things that make us go,
- 17:11Speaker 2: that's funny. Yeah, it's true, but it's funny that you
- 17:13Speaker 2: said it. That's all I.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Would think about going down the water side is making
- 17:17Speaker 3: sure my boom didn't fall out or hair.
- 17:22Speaker 2: And Ashley is the one that helps us all feel
- 17:26Speaker 2: more seen and more known valid by her comments. The
- 17:32Speaker 2: other big moment here is Kelsey. I was really kind
- 17:35Speaker 2: of hoping that Kelsey dove in headfirst to the slide
- 17:40Speaker 2: and just enjoyed it and kind of acted like a
- 17:42Speaker 2: kid again. And you could see that, like the giggle
- 17:44Speaker 2: come out of her. It doesn't necessarily at least it's
- 17:49Speaker 2: not shown.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not shown.
- 17:52Speaker 3: And also it kind of shows like when they all
- 17:55Speaker 3: showed up to breakfast, all the girls were like disheveled
- 17:59Speaker 3: and no makeup in their pajamas, and then Kelsey comes
- 18:03Speaker 3: down freshly dried hair, makeup on. She's not gonna let
- 18:07Speaker 3: anyone see her slip, you know, so going down the waterside,
- 18:10Speaker 3: she's like, oh am I I'm not gonna look perfect
- 18:12Speaker 3: to everyone. So that's something else that is kind of
- 18:15Speaker 3: a theme of hers.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we do get to see it when she brushes
- 18:19Speaker 2: her teeth in the morning. We see all the women
- 18:21Speaker 2: kind of waking up, yeah, you know, and just kind
- 18:24Speaker 2: of like crawling out of bed. But the big moment
- 18:29Speaker 2: in the slide and kind of skipping ahead is that
- 18:31Speaker 2: the guys that are there to help them join them.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I kind of digzed out on that one. I'm like,
- 18:37Speaker 3: why are we all flirting with this random guy?
- 18:40Speaker 2: It felt misplaced. I wonder, you know, if they're trying
- 18:45Speaker 2: to almost like Temptation Island it to see.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yes, that is exactly what they were doing, and it
- 18:52Speaker 3: looks like Rosie really Rosie just thought he was hot,
- 18:55Speaker 3: but not you know, for herself.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it felt like everybody kind of what I imagine
- 19:01Speaker 2: a girl's trip being with a bunch of married or
- 19:04Speaker 2: coupled up girls. It felt like that to me, where
- 19:07Speaker 2: they're like flirting in the way, but it's like so
- 19:09Speaker 2: aggressive flirting, flirting where you know nothing's gonna happen, where
- 19:12Speaker 2: it's like, hey, you look good. Yeah, they're like thank you,
- 19:16Speaker 2: but there's no nothing past that. The girls, I do
- 19:20Speaker 2: think for a second thought Kelsey might be interested, but
- 19:24Speaker 2: then she says, I'm not gonna date a guy ten
- 19:27Speaker 2: years younger.
- 19:27Speaker 4: She would day twenty years older.
- 19:30Speaker 2: That's how I was good. Yes, yeah, it's more the
- 19:32Speaker 2: opposite right.
- 19:33Speaker 3: For her, Yeah, because she needs someone to take care
- 19:35Speaker 3: of her. But then Liz seemed very uncomfortable with it.
- 19:38Speaker 3: She was like, I'm not gonna be just standing I'm
- 19:40Speaker 3: fifty six years old or fifty four, I don't know
- 19:42Speaker 3: how old she is, but I'm not gonna stand around
- 19:44Speaker 3: Florida with a twenty one year old boy, Like this
- 19:46Speaker 3: is so not fun for me going down water slides
- 19:49Speaker 3: and stuff.
- 19:49Speaker 4: And is this where they go where Ashley goes to
- 19:51Speaker 4: her room.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Ashley goes to her room there right after Ashley says, well, yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 2: he's like he's cute, but he's not my husband, and
- 19:58Speaker 2: then they do the black and whit Jared, Yes, I
- 20:01Speaker 2: love it so good. It's so good. He's like perfectly
- 20:04Speaker 2: like standing in the silhouette of.
- 20:07Speaker 4: The sun and yeah, she's not wrong.
- 20:11Speaker 2: She does go to the room. Uh, you have a
- 20:14Speaker 2: lot of information on this, so i'll let you take
- 20:16Speaker 2: it away.
- 20:16Speaker 4: Well, so they were.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Ashually saw that Liz was upset, so she snuck up
- 20:23Speaker 3: to her room without the cameras, like knowing and actually
- 20:27Speaker 3: and her were having an actual heart to her about
- 20:29Speaker 3: like filming and how uncomfortable she was. I don't remember
- 20:33Speaker 3: why Liz was uncomfortable. I don't think it was because
- 20:35Speaker 3: they were flirting with the twenty whatever year old, but
- 20:38Speaker 3: she just didn't want to talk to the cameras anymore.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And Ash was like, look, I've been there, I know
- 20:43Speaker 3: this kind of sucks. And then they figured out that
- 20:46Speaker 3: they were talking to each other alone without the cameras,
- 20:49Speaker 3: so then they're like, okay, go, you know, now continue
- 20:52Speaker 3: the conversation. And that's why it looked so awkward actually
- 20:54Speaker 3: just standing there. She's like, we already said everything and
- 20:57Speaker 3: we don't have we don't want to talk to the
- 20:58Speaker 3: cameras anymore. So well, that's why it was like the
- 21:01Speaker 3: most awkward conversation for sitting there. It was more of
- 21:05Speaker 3: a heart to heart about like just filming and how
- 21:08Speaker 3: hard it can be. So it seemed like they were
- 21:11Speaker 3: talking about nothing and as I want you to enjoy
- 21:13Speaker 3: my company.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, I know you want to get away from
- 21:18Speaker 2: the cameras, but I'm going to step in here, so
- 21:20Speaker 2: the cameras actually come to us and we talk longer
- 21:24Speaker 2: on camera. Correct, was exactly how it seemed and fell.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Okay, so you saw that, but you understand like the
- 21:30Speaker 3: production of it all. So I don't know if all
- 21:34Speaker 3: the audience will see it, but if you go back
- 21:36Speaker 3: and watch.
- 21:36Speaker 4: It's it's pretty obvious.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yeah it is, And actually said that that moment with
- 21:41Speaker 3: them alone without the cameras was when her and Liz
- 21:44Speaker 3: Bey came like actual friends, because Liz was like, Wow,
- 21:47Speaker 3: you really see me.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Right now, and you care. You care enough to check
- 21:53Speaker 2: on me and simply check on me. You're not coming
- 21:56Speaker 2: up here with the story of what just happened downstairs
- 21:58Speaker 2: or new drama. You're You're just to be like, hey,
- 22:00Speaker 2: are you good? If you aren't, I'm here if not,
- 22:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna leave. And then yeah, the cameras jump in
- 22:07Speaker 2: and the two of them are standing there awkwardly staring
- 22:09Speaker 2: at each other. Well, Ashley, I mean has always been
- 22:12Speaker 2: obviously you talk to her a hundred times a day,
- 22:15Speaker 2: like she is an easy person to confide into and
- 22:18Speaker 2: talk to, and I would think out of and I
- 22:20Speaker 2: don't know if they're figuring this out yet, but out
- 22:23Speaker 2: of all the women in this group, there is a
- 22:26Speaker 2: safe space. Ashley will keep your secrets or your complaints
- 22:32Speaker 2: or your just frustrations. She will keep them to herself
- 22:36Speaker 2: if you ask her to. Totally.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yes, She's scared of pissing anyone off, so she wouldn't
- 22:41Speaker 3: go around just blapping any kind of insider scoop.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I'm gonna get on here sometime and just act like
- 22:46Speaker 2: I'm so mad at Ashley. She would see what she.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Does immediately cry we know this, but.
- 22:52Speaker 3: She'd we actually should try that, please, Yeah, we got
- 22:56Speaker 3: to set it up, yeah, like come on in, we
- 22:58Speaker 3: have a quick thing on Zoo. And then you'd be like,
- 23:02Speaker 3: so Ashley, like I'm really disappointed, you know, I'm just.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Seeing and then just maybe yeah, I'm going to pass
- 23:08Speaker 2: it off to you and say, hey, I'm I'm so
- 23:10Speaker 2: upset that I don't know if I can get the
- 23:11Speaker 2: words out. So I'm gonna let Lauren take it from
- 23:14Speaker 2: here and just get off and then this is good.
- 23:17Speaker 5: This isn't mean well, I think this show is making
- 23:23Speaker 5: me mean Lauren. I think I'm literally watching and changing
- 23:27Speaker 5: as I go.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Oh.
- 23:29Speaker 2: No, we do have a situation with Rula. Rula is sick,
- 23:44Speaker 2: and according to our sources, she is actually sick this.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I know she doesn't look sick because she put the
- 23:50Speaker 2: makeup on and it feels like she prepped her for
- 23:54Speaker 2: her face time, and true she probably did, yeah, but
- 23:58Speaker 2: she was actually sick during this time. We don't know
- 24:02Speaker 2: with exactly what I'm I find it funny. I watched
- 24:08Speaker 2: this and I said, okay, there, Brian is agreeing to
- 24:10Speaker 2: have the cameras in because one nobody else is there too.
- 24:13Speaker 2: You know, he's taking care of his wife, which is
- 24:16Speaker 2: such a good look compared to everything else that's been
- 24:19Speaker 2: videoed so far.
- 24:20Speaker 4: So true.
- 24:21Speaker 3: He's like, now, this will be easy filming day where
- 24:23Speaker 3: I look like a good man taking care of my wife.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Do you do you know anything more about this or
- 24:29Speaker 2: did you get any like reads when you watch this
- 24:31Speaker 2: of For me, this didn't even need to be shown. Really,
- 24:34Speaker 2: it was a hey, Rue is sick, she can't come.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know another part where I was like,
- 24:39Speaker 3: this is kind of pointless. It could have just been
- 24:41Speaker 3: like a little blurb between the girls. But yeah, we'real
- 24:43Speaker 3: as sick, she's not coming, and that's it.
- 24:45Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 24:46Speaker 3: I guess to prove to us that she is home
- 24:48Speaker 3: in bed because or else will make up stories of
- 24:51Speaker 3: our own, like the mistress is holding her captive.
- 24:55Speaker 2: True, yeah, I probably we probably should have that'd a
- 24:58Speaker 2: lot better story. I mean goodness, I don't think, at
- 25:03Speaker 2: least from my perspective, nobody watching it, or even a
- 25:08Speaker 2: part of it on the cast, nobody's mad at Rula,
- 25:12Speaker 2: Like I'm not trying to create a narrative or a
- 25:15Speaker 2: story or I'm not even seeing that where I uh,
- 25:19Speaker 2: I'm upset with her. It's more of the hey, like
- 25:25Speaker 2: maybe wake up a little bit? Would yeah? Maybe be
- 25:27Speaker 2: the thought?
- 25:28Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 25:29Speaker 3: I mean it is her choice if she wants to
- 25:30Speaker 3: stay with her husband, So it's like not that we're
- 25:32Speaker 3: mad at her for that decision. We're mad at Brian
- 25:34Speaker 3: and we want to be there for Rula. But I'm
- 25:36Speaker 3: sure Rula is like, I don't want to look like
- 25:37Speaker 3: an idiot from these girls. No, even though she's decided
- 25:40Speaker 3: to stay.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, what is it? One thing I want to ask?
- 25:45Speaker 2: When Ashley and Liz are talking, she calls her Lammy Liz.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I don't know what that means.
- 25:51Speaker 4: Lammy Liz.
- 25:52Speaker 3: I guess is Liz's like soft side. It's what you
- 25:55Speaker 3: see when you get to know her. That's her nickname,
- 25:57Speaker 3: would be lammy Liz, like a little.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Uh yeah, she's okay, so that's been brought up before.
- 26:03Speaker 2: That's your nickname. I didn't know the reference.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's just like her soft side that you
- 26:07Speaker 3: get to see every once in a while.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Okay, the boat, they go on the boat, now, right.
- 26:12Speaker 2: They go on the boat during this episode. This actually
- 26:15Speaker 2: doesn't really make it on the boat because Dawson is
- 26:17Speaker 2: so sick.
- 26:18Speaker 3: My poor angel baby.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Yeah, well, how sick was he?
- 26:22Speaker 4: He was in the hospital. It was really sad.
- 26:25Speaker 3: They give him like a whole bunch of meds and
- 26:28Speaker 3: like inhaler and stuff, and then to give them steroids.
- 26:33Speaker 3: And then I remember that day because it was like
- 26:35Speaker 3: they were there for a while, and then he got
- 26:37Speaker 3: the steroids and he was hopped up, like so back
- 26:40Speaker 3: to normal in like an hour, and as she's like great, great, yeh,
- 26:43Speaker 3: I left and he's totally back to normal in an hour.
- 26:45Speaker 3: But you know, it's scary. And she has this really
- 26:47Speaker 3: sad picture of him in the hospital that they were
- 26:49Speaker 3: going to post, but I guess they didn't put it
- 26:51Speaker 3: in an episode. But there's no need to see it.
- 26:53Speaker 3: It's just sad.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Yeah, he so he was really sick. Ashley obviously lucky,
- 26:58Speaker 2: I mean, for Luckily isn't far from home where she
- 27:01Speaker 2: gets off the boat.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Once you're on Rhode Island, you're pretty close to everything.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point. And but we do see
- 27:08Speaker 2: Ashley leave. At this point, she seems very sad, not
- 27:11Speaker 2: only to leave, but also very scared for her beloved child,
- 27:16Speaker 2: her son in which she's so well pleased the boat
- 27:20Speaker 2: is it looks so cold, so uncomfortable, dreadful, dreadfully cold,
- 27:25Speaker 2: but the women are all dressed like it's going to
- 27:28Speaker 2: be ninety degrees and sunny.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Well, tequila makes it a little bit warmer, I guess.
- 27:32Speaker 2: And when the tequila starts flowing, we get some Confessions
- 27:36Speaker 2: where Kelsey and Joellen start talking about mutual love interests.
- 27:40Speaker 2: In college, we used to call that, like.
- 27:42Speaker 4: What is it? Eskimo sisters?
- 27:44Speaker 2: Yeah, like there's there's like a mutual crossing of brothers.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Is that what I'm getting here? And Joel almost I
- 27:53Speaker 2: think references. Now, I could be wrong. When she's asked
- 27:57Speaker 2: the question who is better, she says, well, Kelsey would know, so.
- 28:01Speaker 4: She's also done both brothers. WHOA, that's very good.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I didn't really I was like, oh, yeah, well, Kelsey,
- 28:08Speaker 3: she had sex with the good brother.
- 28:09Speaker 4: I didn't even put that together.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Okay, that's very nue. Yeah, how do you process that?
- 28:19Speaker 4: Randalus? I don't know.
- 28:23Speaker 3: That's kind of ichy to me. I don't know, Yeah,
- 28:26Speaker 3: I think that's icky.
- 28:27Speaker 2: I'm wondering do the I mean, the brothers obviously talk too,
- 28:32Speaker 2: you know, they they communicate with each other, yeah, quite often,
- 28:37Speaker 2: and so they know. I wonder if this was kind
- 28:39Speaker 2: of their thing. But Joellen does mention that in her twenties, uh,
- 28:43Speaker 2: she you know, yeah, I would do this. It was
- 28:46Speaker 2: promiscuous and the whole story. But it's weird to me
- 28:50Speaker 2: because when it's set, it is one of those moments
- 28:54Speaker 2: where I'm kind of holding onto the seat, going, oh,
- 28:56Speaker 2: this is going to blow up. How could this be
- 28:59Speaker 2: said publicly in front of other people in such a
- 29:03Speaker 2: way that does not cause a fight. But it doesn't
- 29:05Speaker 2: seem like anybody really gets upset over it.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I think it was a time in their lives, in
- 29:11Speaker 3: their like early twenties, and like, obviously I've been there.
- 29:14Speaker 3: My best friend and I have definitely like you know,
- 29:17Speaker 3: switched people before, and like we laugh about it today
- 29:20Speaker 3: because it's like, so in the past, we're always drunk
- 29:23Speaker 3: and doing stupid stuff, so it's bound to happen. So
- 29:26Speaker 3: I think it's kind of just fun memories from a
- 29:29Speaker 3: woman's standpoint.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, So it felt more like that than it
- 29:34Speaker 2: would anything else. Yeah, And there is this I'm I'm
- 29:38Speaker 2: seeing more and more of the how Joellen and Kelsey
- 29:41Speaker 2: have known each other for a lot longer, Yeah than
- 29:45Speaker 2: you know, I think I originally thought they did.
- 29:48Speaker 4: Are they the same age?
- 29:49Speaker 2: I don't Kelsey and Joellen. No, Joellen is probably closer
- 29:52Speaker 2: to Liz's age.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Right, I think Jolan's probably forty.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh so not much older.
- 29:58Speaker 4: And then you're Kelse thirty one? Yeah, Okay, so yeah, wow.
- 30:03Speaker 3: So I'm imagining like a high school or the college,
- 30:06Speaker 3: so they were different ages.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Either way, the takeaway is that it did not cause
- 30:11Speaker 2: a fight. It actually came to some pretty interesting confessionals
- 30:15Speaker 2: where like humor is added and Joellen kind of just
- 30:20Speaker 2: laughs it off and they keep going on and on.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Isn't amazing how just talk how you literally shared brothers
- 30:27Speaker 3: and that's not an issue. But lying about the square
- 30:30Speaker 3: footage or house is the biggest fight you could ever have.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That's a point. Yeah, that's a point line. That's interesting. Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 2: like Kelsey, come on, oh that's so interesting to me.
- 30:42Speaker 2: We just got confirmed Joellen is thirty eight. Kelsey, Okay,
- 30:45Speaker 2: so not too far, No, close enough, especially when you
- 30:49Speaker 2: get into your thirties. Everybody's friends, yes at that point.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Back at the mansion, Lauren, we go following this boat
- 30:56Speaker 2: excursion that isn't shown too much, probably because the weather
- 30:59Speaker 2: was not fantastic and there's just not a lot that
- 31:02Speaker 2: happened during it. The butlers are there to greet the
- 31:07Speaker 2: women with champagne. I think the biggest moment here is
- 31:12Speaker 2: once the evening rolls in, we see Joellen standing alone
- 31:17Speaker 2: and Liz comes to meet her to check on her.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Joellen says she's upset because she now has the proof
- 31:25Speaker 2: to the story that has snuck its way into every
- 31:30Speaker 2: episode so far. The ruler in Brian scenario where I
- 31:33Speaker 2: think Joean was tasked this is a scary task. I
- 31:37Speaker 2: don't know if it was actually meant when it was said,
- 31:39Speaker 2: but find me proof and okay, all right, no problem.
- 31:43Speaker 3: That friend of hers that is also friends with the
- 31:47Speaker 3: mistress was working overtime and like what following her? But like,
- 31:50Speaker 3: where are you gonna be? Because she's the one who
- 31:52Speaker 3: took the video that they're referring to. And the video
- 31:57Speaker 3: is of Brian and the Mistress in somewhere we don't know.
- 32:02Speaker 3: It just says through a glass window, right, and they
- 32:05Speaker 3: are canoodling or embracing a very long hug, hands all over.
- 32:10Speaker 3: So she really had her friend going there and videotaping everything,
- 32:14Speaker 3: and then the proof would be the date in time
- 32:18Speaker 3: on the car like GPS screen, So that's proof.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Has his friend been outed? Now? I mean there's no way.
- 32:28Speaker 3: I'm sure I don't know who it is though I
- 32:30Speaker 3: haven't seen anything on TikTok and my slew thing. But yeah,
- 32:34Speaker 3: so Joellen seems to actually be very disturbed by this information.
- 32:37Speaker 3: I think maybe she went in asking her friend for proof,
- 32:40Speaker 3: hoping that there would be no proof, and came with
- 32:45Speaker 3: the receipts.
- 32:46Speaker 4: For sure.
- 32:47Speaker 2: All the ladies join in after a while on kind
- 32:50Speaker 2: of what's going on. None of them want to be
- 32:53Speaker 2: the one to confront Rula totally.
- 32:55Speaker 3: I know it has to be Alicia. She is the
- 32:58Speaker 3: bridge between all the friends. She's known Rula the longest.
- 33:02Speaker 2: And then they kind of.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Explain that if it came from Liz or Joellen, it
- 33:06Speaker 3: would just be perpetuating, like the I'm just trying to
- 33:08Speaker 3: stir shut up narrative if Joellen or Liz or really
- 33:13Speaker 3: anyone besides Alisha, because Alicia said last episode during the
- 33:17Speaker 3: poll match, like no, like I really love you Brian,
- 33:19Speaker 3: and I love you Rula, like I'm here for you.
- 33:22Speaker 3: So this would just be like an honest person coming
- 33:24Speaker 3: forward trying to help.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Okay, what about Ashley? Would Ashley have fallen into this
- 33:30Speaker 2: at all?
- 33:31Speaker 3: I think if Ashley went to Rula and said that,
- 33:35Speaker 3: I don't think Rula would take it. I think she
- 33:37Speaker 3: would take it seriously, but she'd like, you don't really
- 33:39Speaker 3: know the lore as well as these other girls do.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So I'm not gonna take it from you. That would
- 33:45Speaker 3: be bad, but that would be amazing television to see
- 33:47Speaker 3: how awkward Asha would be telling her that information.
- 33:50Speaker 2: She'd definitely be the sweetest, but it does. Alicia is
- 33:54Speaker 2: sweet also, she just sometimes says things that make you
- 33:56Speaker 2: go huh.
- 33:58Speaker 3: And Liz was so annoyed at Alicia this week. Did
- 34:01Speaker 3: you see that snapped on like three times?
- 34:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it was almost like being around Alicia too much.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Finally broke Liz, where Alicia's the friend that you love
- 34:12Speaker 2: to see. You know it's gonna be a good time.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Bar Like, can we just have a conversation please, without
- 34:20Speaker 3: all the little me me me, like all the little
- 34:22Speaker 3: blurbs that don't really make sense but that are funny.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yeah, like my therapist told me, I heard hold the
- 34:28Speaker 2: energy of so many people or something. We're like, what
- 34:31Speaker 2: what does that mean? Like, what do you mean?
- 34:33Speaker 4: And then the lizen was like, yeah, me too.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Okay, so this will be a very interesting conversation. I
- 34:40Speaker 2: think this whole episode felt so Remember last week I
- 34:44Speaker 2: was like, ugh, so angsy about the episode because it
- 34:49Speaker 2: felt heavy, it felt awkward healthy. This episode did not
- 34:55Speaker 2: to me It felt very much like episodes like one
- 34:58Speaker 2: through five, where it was funny fun there was some
- 35:02Speaker 2: funny stuff being said, and then a little bit of
- 35:04Speaker 2: drama to mix in with the whole story that goes on.
- 35:09Speaker 2: The drama doesn't really come, I mean till the very
- 35:12Speaker 2: end of the show, and that cliffhanger passes us off
- 35:16Speaker 2: into the next episode, which we'll be talking about next week.
- 35:20Speaker 2: But we still see the previews for the rest of
- 35:22Speaker 2: the season, Lauren, and they feel wild like the craziest
- 35:26Speaker 2: is yet to come.
- 35:27Speaker 4: I know, I know we have to.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Alicia goes and tells Rula, and I'm assuming Rula doesn't
- 35:35Speaker 3: do anything with the information, which is kind of upsetting.
- 35:39Speaker 3: But I'd also love to see the actual videos of
- 35:46Speaker 3: Brian and the Mistress for like the public to see.
- 35:48Speaker 3: But I know that's like, we can't see that, but
- 35:50Speaker 3: that'd be great. And then next week, I think is
- 35:53Speaker 3: the big fight with Kelsey and Rosie. I don't I
- 35:58Speaker 3: have a little scoop on that, but I think we
- 36:00Speaker 3: should save it until next week when we see it
- 36:02Speaker 3: all go down. And then what else do we have?
- 36:05Speaker 3: The whole thing looks crazy. Oh a menopause dummy.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Yeah, a great idea. If I don't know what they do.
- 36:13Speaker 2: I don't know what the ingredients are that help. But
- 36:16Speaker 2: we have close friends in our podcast family here who
- 36:19Speaker 2: are currently going through it, and let me tell you,
- 36:23Speaker 2: I think they would take anything that would make them
- 36:25Speaker 2: feel better at this. Yeah.
- 36:27Speaker 3: I know that there's lots of scientific advances with menopause
- 36:30Speaker 3: and apparently, like we don't even have to go through it.
- 36:33Speaker 3: So I'm interested to learn about this and I hope
- 36:35Speaker 3: that it actually does something.
- 36:37Speaker 2: But Dolores and Liz kind of that power team, those
- 36:41Speaker 2: little twins, those twins.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Whenever someone talks to me about Rhode Island, they're like,
- 36:46Speaker 3: how Doloresen lives a different person? How do two people
- 36:50Speaker 3: look so similar and they're not related in.
- 36:51Speaker 2: The slightest same surgeon?
- 36:53Speaker 1: I know what.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Still, it's crazy.
- 36:57Speaker 2: As Lauren is hinted, next week we're gonna break down
- 37:01Speaker 2: what seems to be I guess, Lauren, you do know
- 37:04Speaker 2: enough information we will save it to next week. Yeah,
- 37:07Speaker 2: but do you believe that this encounter between Rosie and
- 37:10Speaker 2: Kelsey is going to be as dramatic and shocking as
- 37:14Speaker 2: what the preview showed.
- 37:15Speaker 3: I think it's gonna be way more dramatic, because once
- 37:17Speaker 3: you see what Kelsey does to piss off Rosie like that,
- 37:21Speaker 3: it's gonna be much more juicy than you think. And
- 37:26Speaker 3: I don't think, I know, I don't think they will
- 37:29Speaker 3: ever ever come back from what happens. And as we
- 37:33Speaker 3: can see in the public today with all the podcasts
- 37:35Speaker 3: going on, all the things that Kelsey's doing and talking to,
- 37:38Speaker 3: she is so pissed in doing so many low blows
- 37:41Speaker 3: at Rosie for her fashion choices and her relationship and
- 37:47Speaker 3: her just like her overall being I don't understand.
- 37:51Speaker 4: So we'll see next week.
- 37:53Speaker 3: I hope that you think it's as dramatic as I
- 37:54Speaker 3: think it is, and I hope they show it as
- 37:56Speaker 3: dramatic as Ashley told.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Me it was. If if it's even close, yeah, it
- 38:01Speaker 2: will be good. It's I just you know, The Bachelor
- 38:04Speaker 2: is known for this where they have this like tease
- 38:07Speaker 2: for the season and then it actually happens and you're like,
- 38:10Speaker 2: that wasn't anything.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Coulton jumping over the fence is the biggest one.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, Like they teased and then it happened. We're like,
- 38:16Speaker 2: that's why it shocked the world. They're like, wait, actually
- 38:18Speaker 2: a tease, I know it works, but I was just
- 38:22Speaker 2: kind of I've always been in that mindset of how
- 38:24Speaker 2: much do I put into the preview for the season,
- 38:27Speaker 2: because it oftentimes is it kind of falls short of expectations.
- 38:32Speaker 2: But if you're telling us learn right here, right now,
- 38:36Speaker 2: the almost famous podcast, that you believe it could be
- 38:39Speaker 2: as juicy as what we saw yeah on the preview,
- 38:45Speaker 2: then I know all of us are going to be
- 38:46Speaker 2: on the edge of our seats to watch this happen.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Absolutely, I think it is. And yet again, I don't
- 38:52Speaker 3: think it's gonna look good for Kelsey. But that may
- 38:56Speaker 3: be my bias again, but I really don't think anyone
- 38:58Speaker 3: could agree with what Kelsey does.
- 39:00Speaker 2: We have so much to talk about next week, right here,
- 39:02Speaker 2: breaking down the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Episode eight
- 39:07Speaker 2: of this season. It's been a wild ride. We're flying
- 39:11Speaker 2: through this lorn gosh, okay, flying through this. The cool
- 39:14Speaker 2: part is as soon as we get announced that Ashley
- 39:17Speaker 2: we'll be back for season two, then you and I
- 39:20Speaker 2: will be right back here breaking it down once again.
- 39:24Speaker 2: I mean, wow, I mean think about this, like, let's
- 39:27Speaker 2: keep this going for ten years.
- 39:29Speaker 4: It's insanee.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Okay, hey, it's been a lot of fun. The season
- 39:37Speaker 2: continues to pick up steam. As Lauren mentioned, next week's
- 39:41Speaker 2: episode feels like a climactic point in the season, one
- 39:47Speaker 2: that none of us want to miss. So watch the
- 39:49Speaker 2: episode and then come right here and listen to the breakdown,
- 39:53Speaker 2: a little bit of behind the scenes, any investigation into
- 39:57Speaker 2: our sources on what actually happened and didn't happen, we'll
- 40:01Speaker 2: be talking about right here on the Almost Famous podcast.
- 40:03Speaker 2: So until next time, I've been Ben, I've been Lauren,
- 40:07Speaker 2: we'll talk to you soon.
